Jesus Christ Superstar (EASTER SPECIAL, WE IS RISEN)
This week we are diving into our favorite Easter movie, Jesus Christ Superstar. We discuss the making of this Norman Jewison film in 1970s Israel. We also discuss its road to the screen from the original album to the theatrical musical. After the background, we dive right into the movie and talk about all those groovy ass songs! Finally, we end the podcast with a pair of double bills for your viewing pleasure.
Thank you so much for listening!
