- 0:03[SPEAKER_01]: Hello, everybody, and welcome back to This Ain't No Game.
- 0:08[SPEAKER_01]: The podcast where it is again.
- 0:10[SPEAKER_01]: My name is William Bibbiani.
- 0:11[SPEAKER_01]: I am a film critic.
- 0:12[SPEAKER_01]: I write for the wrap and everybody calls me Bebs.
- 0:14[SPEAKER_02]: My name is Whitney Syville, I'm a film critic.
- 0:16[SPEAKER_02]: I am the singer, Seth, writer, over at slash film.
- 0:19[SPEAKER_02]: And we have a very special guest this week.
- 0:20[SPEAKER_02]: A very, very special guest.
- 0:22[SPEAKER_02]: Introduce yourself, special guest.
- 0:24[SPEAKER_00]: Hello, I am Angie Sybold, one half of the SnackFam podcast.
- 0:29[SPEAKER_01]: You're a crossover.
- 0:30[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, you guys were doing a crossover episode.
- 0:33[SPEAKER_00]: I am not a film critic, but I am a SnackCritic, and I know a good amount about movies and games, so happy to be here.
- 0:39[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, and this is the podcast where I went and the end I, somewhat infrequently, play board games, tabletop games, card games, often movie related, in order to amuse ourselves and hopefully others.
- 0:54[SPEAKER_01]: And we have had something on our table for a while now, we've been meaning to get to.
- 0:59[SPEAKER_01]: We have a listener who send us a whole bunch of games, a whole bunch, like a staggering number of games.
- 1:05[SPEAKER_00]: And a scene amount of games, yes.
- 1:07[SPEAKER_01]: And that was incredibly generous of them, and we love them for it.
- 1:10[SPEAKER_01]: And we've been meaning to play one of them on the podcast for a while.
- 1:13[SPEAKER_01]: And there was one that just immediately was like, that one.
- 1:17[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that one because it's called Movie Night and it was a card game, which is a collaborative card game.
- 1:23[SPEAKER_01]: We won't be competing against each other, but we will be competing to solve a puzzle that is created out of a series of random cards.
- 1:31[SPEAKER_01]: So it's just for funsies.
- 1:33[SPEAKER_01]: It's just, yeah.
- 1:34[SPEAKER_01]: And because this is a game where it starts off pretty easy, it gets harder as it goes along.
- 1:39[SPEAKER_01]: You at home can play along as well, because basically, you'll just be shouting at us to pick the right movie.
- 1:45[SPEAKER_01]: And if we pick the right movie, then you picked you win.
- 1:49[SPEAKER_01]: You win at Marvel No Prize.
- 1:51[SPEAKER_01]: There you go.
- 1:52[SPEAKER_01]: The movie, the movie that game is actually pretty simple.
- 1:55[SPEAKER_01]: I think I can articulate it pretty clearly on the podcast.
- 1:58[SPEAKER_01]: There's a deck of cards.
- 1:59[SPEAKER_01]: And there are two piles.
- 2:00[SPEAKER_01]: The pile is movie has
- 2:03[SPEAKER_01]: and movie doesn't have.
- 2:06[SPEAKER_01]: And what we're trying to do is come up with a movie that meets every criteria.
- 2:09[SPEAKER_02]: The little figures on the card, their little drawings, they look like phyto-di-do.
- 2:15[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, you're having phyto-di-do from that.
- 2:17[SPEAKER_00]: They look like little surfers, stick drawing, guys.
- 2:19[SPEAKER_01]: It's fine.
- 2:21[SPEAKER_01]: All right, so how it works is we're going to drop a card down.
- 2:24[SPEAKER_01]: The first one will go in the movie has column, so for the sake of conversation, just to give you an idea.
- 2:31[SPEAKER_01]: The movie needs to have a character who is 12 or younger.
- 2:36[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, Angie, what name of movie with a character 12 for younger anybody.
- 2:38[SPEAKER_00]: Uh, the lion, the witch in the wardrobe.
- 2:40[SPEAKER_01]: The lion, the witch in the wardrobe.
- 2:41[SPEAKER_01]: Alright.
- 2:43[SPEAKER_01]: We all agree on that film, but then we put the next card and the movie doesn't have column.
- 2:47[SPEAKER_01]: And the movie can't have a scene set in a city, which, unfortunately, why in which the word does, right at the beginning, because they're leaving.
- 2:55[SPEAKER_00]: They have to leave the city to go too nervous.
- 2:57[SPEAKER_01]: They're leaving the blitz.
- 2:58[SPEAKER_01]: We have to receive them.
- 2:59[SPEAKER_01]: We see them get on the ground.
- 3:00[SPEAKER_01]: So that doesn't count.
- 3:02[SPEAKER_01]: So we would need to come up with a new movie that has a character 12 or younger and a scene set in the city.
- 3:06[SPEAKER_01]: And then once we do that, but has no scene set in the city.
- 3:09[SPEAKER_01]: Sorry.
- 3:09[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 3:09[SPEAKER_01]: All those.
- 3:12[SPEAKER_01]: and then from there on we do another part where the movie has flying but we need to then we need to come up with a movie that has a character 12 or younger and flying in it but doesn't have a scene set in the city and also doesn't have any snow and we go on like this until we find a film that's special there you go the Wizard of Oz probably yeah so
- 3:34[SPEAKER_02]: I've just wished up in a cyclone, is she flying or is she in the witch fly so which fly fly oh okay the child does not have to fly yeah something has to be flying at some point in the movie okay yeah completing those in my brain it's late I'm a little tired that would be insanely hard if it had to be like here's a flying child in the countryside superman if you turn it off part way through there you go so yeah so it's real simple and depending on the cards we get
- 4:03[SPEAKER_01]: It might be easy or it could be incredibly difficult, but again, it starts easy and it gets harder as it goes along.
- 4:09[SPEAKER_01]: Does anyone have any questions?
- 4:11[SPEAKER_02]: No, I've seen a couple movies.
- 4:13[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, so, um, to put in terribly bad at these bad minds games.
- 4:17[SPEAKER_01]: My girlfriend recently discovered that I have never seen the big chill.
- 4:20[SPEAKER_00]: You know what?
- 4:21[SPEAKER_00]: Neither of I.
- 4:22[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 4:22[SPEAKER_01]: Well, but it's totally different as well.
- 4:24[SPEAKER_01]: It's particularly shameful because I'm a film critic and now there is recurring gag in a relationship where it's like, William, have you ever even seen a movie?
- 4:32[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 4:33[SPEAKER_01]: And of course I have.
- 4:34[SPEAKER_01]: I watched many movies all the time.
- 4:36[SPEAKER_01]: So, but this should be fun.
- 4:38[SPEAKER_01]: I think because that,
- 4:40[SPEAKER_01]: is how games work.
- 4:41[SPEAKER_01]: That's correct.
- 4:42[SPEAKER_01]: They're fun to play.
- 4:44[SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
- 4:44[SPEAKER_00]: They're meant to be fun and not destroy relationships.
- 4:48[SPEAKER_02]: So should we mention or it doesn't count?
- 4:51[SPEAKER_02]: Wait, what happened to this scenario?
- 4:53[SPEAKER_02]: It just notoriously breaks people off.
- 4:55[SPEAKER_02]: That's it.
- 4:56[SPEAKER_02]: I know there was an episode of the Simpsons about that.
- 4:58[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't realize that was a real thing.
- 4:59[SPEAKER_00]: I've been told never to play a game called diplomacy because ironically it leads to the most fighting of any board games.
- 5:07[SPEAKER_01]: I've never even heard of diplomacy.
- 5:09[SPEAKER_00]: Oh yeah, the game lore, it's deep.
- 5:11[SPEAKER_00]: Oh God.
- 5:12[SPEAKER_00]: Oh God.
- 5:12[SPEAKER_01]: All right, we'll have to look into that and play it.
- 5:15[SPEAKER_01]: Just a tenth fade, maybe the next Friday, the 13th.
- 5:17[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you and I can play diplomacy.
- 5:20[SPEAKER_01]: There you go.
- 5:21[SPEAKER_01]: So anyway, again, pretty straightforward, and I love a card game that's collaborative.
- 5:26[SPEAKER_01]: Because it doesn't turn into infighting.
- 5:28[SPEAKER_01]: No one starts taking it personally.
- 5:30[SPEAKER_01]: We're just trying to have a good time and the gag really according to the instructions is once you figure out a movie that has all the criteria you're supposed to then immediately watch it
- 5:42[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, which we will not be doing because we're going to play a few rounds.
- 5:45[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, so that's cute.
- 5:46[SPEAKER_01]: So this is supposed to help you figure out a movie to watch and movie night.
- 5:50[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 5:51[SPEAKER_02]: Well, right down the titles and then maybe that can be like a movie marathon for the next all night or that's funny.
- 5:56[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 5:56[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 5:57[SPEAKER_01]: Well, I will definitely write down the titles.
- 5:58[SPEAKER_01]: All right.
- 5:59[SPEAKER_01]: So are we ready to play a round for real actual round?
- 6:02[SPEAKER_01]: Let's do it.
- 6:03[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 6:10[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, I just pulled this before, but the movie has to have snow.
- 6:14[SPEAKER_01]: What's a snowy movie?
- 6:18[SPEAKER_02]: March of the penguins.
- 6:19[SPEAKER_02]: March of the penguins.
- 6:20[SPEAKER_02]: Andrew, I came with March of the penguins.
- 6:21[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, with that, it's all humans need to be in this movie.
- 6:24[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe they won't.
- 6:25[SPEAKER_01]: Let's find out.
- 6:25[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe the movie doesn't have humans.
- 6:27[SPEAKER_01]: The next card is the movie has snow, but it doesn't have kissing.
- 6:34[SPEAKER_01]: Now the penguins do nozzle.
- 6:36[SPEAKER_01]: But that doesn't count.
- 6:37[SPEAKER_01]: Beaks don't kiss.
- 6:40[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, they don't have their lips.
- 6:44[SPEAKER_01]: This is a lip required for kissing?
- 6:46[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, 100%.
- 6:47[SPEAKER_01]: Could you keep your lips completely like, purse an inward and then just go, hmm, somebody with that count?
- 6:53[SPEAKER_01]: No, it's just thanks.
- 6:54[SPEAKER_02]: Give it a try.
- 6:55[SPEAKER_01]: I'm sorry, that count.
- 6:58[SPEAKER_01]: That's clear.
- 6:58[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't say it wasn't weird.
- 7:00[SPEAKER_01]: It's a lot's of weird kissing out there.
- 7:02[SPEAKER_01]: We could try that right now.
- 7:03[SPEAKER_02]: Like, tell me each other's faces.
- 7:05[SPEAKER_01]: No.
- 7:05[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 7:05[SPEAKER_01]: So March of the Penguins, we're going to say still.
- 7:07[SPEAKER_01]: Still counts.
- 7:08[SPEAKER_01]: Still counts.
- 7:09[SPEAKER_01]: Still counts.
- 7:09[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 7:10[SPEAKER_01]: Fine.
- 7:10[SPEAKER_00]: Fine.
- 7:11[SPEAKER_01]: Do you're doing well, March of the Penguins?
- 7:12[SPEAKER_00]: Sexy, sexy penguins.
- 7:13[SPEAKER_01]: Now, the movie needs to have.
- 7:15[SPEAKER_01]: Punching, no, this is the picture stuff of March of the penguins that I am in aware of.
- 7:21[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, you know what?
- 7:21[SPEAKER_02]: So, no kissing in the snow, but punching?
- 7:24[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 7:26[SPEAKER_02]: A Christmas story?
- 7:27[SPEAKER_02]: Well, I was thinking of the gray with Liam Mason or he punches all the wolves, and he doesn't kiss any of those guys.
- 7:34[SPEAKER_01]: Do those guys kiss each other?
- 7:36[SPEAKER_02]: No, no.
- 7:37[SPEAKER_02]: Like, it's the wolves.
- 7:39[SPEAKER_02]: No.
- 7:39[SPEAKER_02]: Do the wolves kiss, because you can't kiss with Tom.
- 7:42[SPEAKER_02]: If you put your nons together, that gives you brings your mouth up to somebody and you're just sort of like, oh, sort of leaking each other.
- 7:48[SPEAKER_02]: That counts.
- 7:49[SPEAKER_02]: I would count that as a tongue guess.
- 7:50[SPEAKER_00]: Is that mean a Christmas story does not count because he puts his tongue on the flagpole?
- 7:54[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think he's not.
- 7:55[SPEAKER_00]: He's not kissing the tongue.
- 7:56[SPEAKER_00]: The flagpole, the flagpole.
- 7:58[SPEAKER_01]: The tongue pole.
- 7:59[SPEAKER_01]: You know, that I think the flagpole isn't really into it.
- 8:02[SPEAKER_01]: So I think we're fine.
- 8:04[SPEAKER_01]: So okay, so we got Christmas story has the snow.
- 8:07[SPEAKER_01]: I suppose the parents might kiss in it, but I don't remember them.
- 8:10[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and they're really touching, though.
- 8:12[SPEAKER_00]: That's true.
- 8:13[SPEAKER_00]: The gray, there is definitely no kissing.
- 8:16[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, so we're going to go with the grant.
- 8:18[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 8:18[SPEAKER_02]: There may be kisses in a Christmas story, but I can't think of them.
- 8:21[SPEAKER_00]: Maybe the parents kiss at some point.
- 8:22[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, there's missleto.
- 8:24[SPEAKER_01]: So, next up, the movie needs to have snow and punching, and it can't have kissing, and it also can't have a location or group in the title.
- 8:35[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, no.
- 8:36[SPEAKER_00]: I think the gray is like the snow, right?
- 8:39[SPEAKER_00]: No, actually.
- 8:40[SPEAKER_02]: I think the gray was like an abstract thing.
- 8:42[SPEAKER_02]: I think it's like the gray.
- 8:44[SPEAKER_02]: I think it means multiple things, though.
- 8:46[SPEAKER_00]: also that the fur of the wolf the gray hmm well that would be a place I don't think that would count as a way or group so would that be like the wolf pack?
- 8:55[SPEAKER_01]: I think that's a bit of a stretch.
- 8:56[SPEAKER_01]: I do think the gray could be arguably referring to the snowy ucon.
- 9:02[SPEAKER_01]: here we are in the right a Christmas story is is abstract it just describes what the story of the movie is I understand that but we are ready for you to understand what we're going to confidently say the gray isn't a location because are we allowed to Google hold on
- 9:19[SPEAKER_01]: I think that would.
- 9:20[SPEAKER_01]: No.
- 9:21[SPEAKER_02]: They are attacked by gray wolves, like specifically the species.
- 9:24[SPEAKER_02]: Well, why would they say if it comes up something else?
- 9:26[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 9:26[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 9:26[SPEAKER_01]: So we need to have snow and punching, but no kissing and no location of group in the title.
- 9:33[SPEAKER_01]: Snow punchers.
- 9:35[SPEAKER_01]: Alas, no pairs who doesn't work because that's the name of the track.
- 9:38[SPEAKER_00]: What about ice cool?
- 9:39[SPEAKER_00]: The one where they like steal the ice truck or whatever.
- 9:43[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, chill factor.
- 9:43[SPEAKER_01]: Chill factor.
- 9:44[SPEAKER_00]: Chill factor.
- 9:44[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, there's no there's no there's no there's no there's no there's no there's no there's no there's no there's no there's no there's no there's no there's no there's no there's no there's no there's no there's no there's no there's no there's no there's no there's no there's no there's no there's no there's no there's no there's no there's no there's no there's no there's no there's no there's no there's no there's no there's no there's no there's no there's no there's no there's no there's no there's no there's no there's no there's no there's no there's no there's no there's no there's no there
- 10:02[SPEAKER_01]: What's the one with Sean Astin and it's a diehard knockoff where he's Bruce Willis and Bruce Campbell is Alan Rickman.
- 10:09[SPEAKER_01]: Wait, why?
- 10:09[SPEAKER_01]: Why?
- 10:10[SPEAKER_01]: You've never seen this?
- 10:12[SPEAKER_01]: Hold on, there is a diehard knockoff starring Sean Astin and Bruce Campbell that is said at a ski resort.
- 10:18[SPEAKER_01]: Are you thinking of like aspen extremes?
- 10:20[SPEAKER_01]: No, I know my aspen extreme.
- 10:23[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, thank you very much.
- 10:24[SPEAKER_01]: Sorry.
- 10:24[SPEAKER_00]: Also, that one wouldn't count because aspen.
- 10:27[SPEAKER_00]: Also true.
- 10:28[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 10:28[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 10:28[SPEAKER_02]: Also true.
- 10:29[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 10:30[SPEAKER_02]: What is the hold on.
- 10:30[SPEAKER_02]: I'm looking up, Sean.
- 10:32[SPEAKER_02]: He's been in a lot of movies and for just looking on Justin Andrew's cannibal.
- 10:34[SPEAKER_02]: That can't be that bad.
- 10:35[SPEAKER_00]: Aspen and aspen.
- 10:37[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 10:38[SPEAKER_02]: But that bunch of it in the title.
- 10:39[SPEAKER_02]: That's right.
- 10:40[SPEAKER_00]: Put that on a poster.
- 10:42[SPEAKER_02]: Astin plus Aspen equals extreme equals ask kicking it.
- 10:48[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, it was just called icebreaker.
- 10:50[SPEAKER_02]: Icebreaker.
- 10:51[SPEAKER_02]: Also, Stacey, Stacey Keach was in it.
- 10:53[SPEAKER_02]: Mm-hmm.
- 10:54[SPEAKER_02]: Um, I don't think he kisses Stacey Keach.
- 10:57[SPEAKER_02]: There's gotta be, like, China's the lady in this movie.
- 11:00[SPEAKER_02]: All right.
- 11:02[SPEAKER_02]: Meg Foster is not in it.
- 11:03[SPEAKER_02]: Meg Foster is the name of the character played by actress Susan Turner.
- 11:08[SPEAKER_01]: A problem with kiss.
- 11:09[SPEAKER_01]: They probably kiss.
- 11:10[SPEAKER_02]: They probably kiss is from the Killington Vermont.
- 11:16[SPEAKER_02]: Wow.
- 11:17[SPEAKER_02]: That was the real city actually.
- 11:18[SPEAKER_02]: It should have just been called Killington Vermont.
- 11:21[SPEAKER_01]: Killington.
- 11:21[SPEAKER_01]: That's a much cooler name on that.
- 11:23[SPEAKER_00]: It's not because then we wouldn't be able to use it for the game.
- 11:25[SPEAKER_01]: That's also true.
- 11:26[SPEAKER_01]: I've been seeing this movie since like 2002 or whenever the hell it came out.
- 11:31[SPEAKER_00]: See this is where this is going to get hard because we're all going to be sitting here gone.
- 11:34[SPEAKER_01]: Well, I think there's a
- 11:35[SPEAKER_02]: Well, let's look up an image search for Suzanne Turner kissing Sean Astin.
- 11:42[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, I'm sure that that is on the internet Why we weren't gonna Google anything I thought we weren't gonna do that actually I'm okay looking at the title But I think that's the first one.
- 11:52[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, no, I'm sorry Do you have a picture of her kissing?
- 11:57[SPEAKER_02]: No, I I find a picture of them screaming
- 12:01[SPEAKER_01]: Now, that could be a form of guessing.
- 12:02[SPEAKER_00]: Apparently Tara has take over a skewer.
- 12:04[SPEAKER_01]: If you ever kiss John Assen, there's a lot of screaming involved, I assume.
- 12:07[SPEAKER_01]: Why not that?
- 12:08[SPEAKER_01]: He seems like a fine gentleman.
- 12:09[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
- 12:10[SPEAKER_01]: Maybe he's just into weird stuff.
- 12:12[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not judging.
- 12:12[SPEAKER_01]: He's got to wear the hobbits.
- 12:13[SPEAKER_02]: He's just a picture of him.
- 12:15[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I'd ask him to start in the goonies.
- 12:17[SPEAKER_01]: OK, well, that counts, but no.
- 12:19[SPEAKER_01]: All right, listen, we're going to go for it.
- 12:20[SPEAKER_01]: However, we may be at a loss depending what the last card is.
- 12:23[SPEAKER_01]: Based on how well I remember the move.
- 12:24[SPEAKER_00]: Can we get like four out of five?
- 12:27[SPEAKER_01]: No, we got to try to get five.
- 12:28[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 12:28[SPEAKER_01]: That's the whole point.
- 12:29[SPEAKER_01]: Lastly, it has to be released before the year 2000 when the dicebreaker come out 2000.
- 12:33[SPEAKER_01]: Fuck.
- 12:34[SPEAKER_01]: You're so close.
- 12:37[SPEAKER_02]: So we can't do.
- 12:37[SPEAKER_02]: We can't use this obscure.
- 12:39[SPEAKER_02]: That's all.
- 12:39[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 12:41[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 12:42[SPEAKER_01]: Does.
- 12:42[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 12:43[SPEAKER_01]: Does.
- 12:43[SPEAKER_01]: So let's just alone.
- 12:44[SPEAKER_01]: Kiss Dean and Meyer in detox.
- 12:48[SPEAKER_01]: I haven't seen detail.
- 12:49[SPEAKER_01]: What is G-Tog?
- 12:50[SPEAKER_01]: G-Tog is a movie where Sylvester Stallone is a cop whose girlfriend is killed by a serial killer and then he's so traumatized that they end up sending him to a D-Tog center with a whole bunch of character actors in the middle of the woods and then they start getting killed one by one by a serial killer.
- 13:04[SPEAKER_00]: That sounds kind of fun.
- 13:06[SPEAKER_01]: It's not unantertaining, but it's not particularly good.
- 13:09[SPEAKER_01]: I believe it was the, it was Jim Gillespie, who directed, I know she had less summer.
- 13:14[SPEAKER_01]: I think it was his follow up to the high Gillespie.
- 13:20[SPEAKER_02]: Pierre Gillespie, Pierre Gillespie.
- 13:25[SPEAKER_01]: uh... i know you don't have a lot of the last days it's from the last it was in the last day okay uh... so okay so i don't think i think he probably kisses denimire so i don't think that counts what is there's got to be some snow patch i'm trying to put it well now i think of like you needy's like yeah well red dog going back to the amnesia does not red dog at the beginning but it was the kids of dinner was that sad ice trucker movie that the amnesian was i don't see that
- 13:51[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, it's literally something like ice truck madness.
- 13:55[SPEAKER_02]: He's trucker madness.
- 13:57[SPEAKER_02]: He's some dude at the speedway.
- 13:59[SPEAKER_02]: He's trucker madness.
- 14:03[SPEAKER_01]: No, he's not driving monster trucks at the speedway.
- 14:05[SPEAKER_01]: Has anyone seen on Deadly ground the Steven Segalfilm, where he like saves an oil Derek and Alaska, or something like that?
- 14:14[SPEAKER_00]: Surely he's kissing a sexy lady.
- 14:16[SPEAKER_02]: Don't know I don't know who I don't know who it was.
- 14:19[SPEAKER_02]: It was just called the ice room.
- 14:20[SPEAKER_00]: You're not volunteering.
- 14:22[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, you're kidding me.
- 14:23[SPEAKER_02]: But the ice room does a recent film is man in the toilet.
- 14:25[SPEAKER_01]: That's also something I can't see.
- 14:27[SPEAKER_02]: I've got to go go back.
- 14:30[SPEAKER_00]: All movie in the snow.
- 14:32[SPEAKER_00]: With daddy dad.
- 14:34[SPEAKER_01]: No kissing.
- 14:35[SPEAKER_01]: White thing.
- 14:37[SPEAKER_00]: It's very crunchy.
- 14:37[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, does it, it's very punching in white funk?
- 14:39[SPEAKER_02]: Is it that a word?
- 14:40[SPEAKER_02]: I think there isn't because it's all about the dogs.
- 14:43[SPEAKER_00]: I was about to say never crying wolf, but I don't know if there's punching in that one.
- 14:46[SPEAKER_02]: That's just one guy.
- 14:47[SPEAKER_02]: Does anyone get punched in the ball-toe?
- 14:50[SPEAKER_02]: It's a ball-toe, and I didn't know I was going to make it as a slow-toe.
- 14:54[SPEAKER_00]: No, I don't know.
- 14:55[SPEAKER_02]: I've never heard wolf counts though, because it was made in the 80s.
- 14:58[SPEAKER_00]: So if we were being punching, if it's just him, it has to have punching.
- 15:01[SPEAKER_02]: It has to have punching.
- 15:02[SPEAKER_02]: It has to have punching.
- 15:03[SPEAKER_00]: It has to have punching.
- 15:04[SPEAKER_00]: It has to have punching.
- 15:05[SPEAKER_00]: It has to have punching.
- 15:06[SPEAKER_02]: It has to have punching.
- 15:07[SPEAKER_02]: It has to have punching.
- 15:08[SPEAKER_02]: It has to have punching.
- 15:09[SPEAKER_02]: It has to have punching.
- 15:10[SPEAKER_01]: It has to have punching.
- 15:11[SPEAKER_01]: It has to have punching.
- 15:12[SPEAKER_01]: It has to have punching.
- 15:13[SPEAKER_01]: It has to have punching.
- 15:14[SPEAKER_01]: It has to have punching.
- 15:14[SPEAKER_01]: It has to have punching.
- 15:15[SPEAKER_01]: It has to have punching.
- 15:16[SPEAKER_01]: It has to have punching.
- 15:17[SPEAKER_02]: It has to have punching.
- 15:18[SPEAKER_02]: It has
- 15:20[SPEAKER_02]: He's eating us, yeah, but he's not punching you.
- 15:22[SPEAKER_01]: Now, what point do we just concede?
- 15:24[SPEAKER_01]: We can't concede defeat.
- 15:26[SPEAKER_01]: We can't concede defeat, but just say we lost this round.
- 15:28[SPEAKER_02]: So, no, no, no, this can be done.
- 15:30[SPEAKER_02]: I sure can.
- 15:31[SPEAKER_01]: I was thinking of Batman forever, this plenty of, or Batman ever, there's no, there's no, there's no, there's no, there's no, there's no, there's no, there's no, there's no, there's no, there's no, there's no, there's no, there's no, there's no, there's no, there's no, there's no, there's no, there's no, there's no, there's no, there's no, there's no, there's no, there's no, there's no, there's no, there's no, there's no, there's no, there's no, there
- 15:48[SPEAKER_01]: Our movie is pretty keen.
- 15:51[SPEAKER_01]: Does John McClain kiss his wife from DR2?
- 15:55[SPEAKER_01]: Is it their snow in DR2?
- 15:56[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's at Christmas.
- 15:58[SPEAKER_01]: It's at an airport.
- 15:59[SPEAKER_01]: It's like on the East Coast.
- 16:01[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, I know it's at a airport.
- 16:03[SPEAKER_00]: I just said he is punching because he punches the annoying, I mean, on the plane.
- 16:07[SPEAKER_01]: I think it punches a lot of people in that movie.
- 16:08[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, that means there's there's no way she punches him.
- 16:12[SPEAKER_00]: That's what it is.
- 16:13[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that's where she punches.
- 16:14[SPEAKER_01]: Well, I'm after him again.
- 16:16[SPEAKER_01]: Um, I think it definitely hits everything.
- 16:19[SPEAKER_01]: I just honestly don't remember if they kiss in it, which they.
- 16:22[SPEAKER_00]: probably do because he saves her.
- 16:25[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, it's that kind of a movie.
- 16:27[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I don't remember like you can just imagine Fred Savage watching diartue.
- 16:31[SPEAKER_01]: This isn't a kiss in movie, isn't it?
- 16:33[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
- 16:37[SPEAKER_01]: What about some?
- 16:39[SPEAKER_01]: Like the abominable snowman of the Himalayas, no, that's a location, dammit.
- 16:44[SPEAKER_01]: What about a live?
- 16:46[SPEAKER_01]: Oh God.
- 16:47[SPEAKER_01]: Did anyone punch each other in a live?
- 16:49[SPEAKER_01]: Probably.
- 16:49[SPEAKER_01]: Oh wait, I don't think anyone kisses in that group.
- 16:53[SPEAKER_02]: A group.
- 16:54[SPEAKER_02]: So...
- 16:55[SPEAKER_02]: There just has to be snow in the movie.
- 16:57[SPEAKER_02]: It does not feel like full set.
- 16:58[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, it is.
- 16:59[SPEAKER_02]: No.
- 16:59[SPEAKER_02]: I was thinking of movies where people definitely do not kiss.
- 17:03[SPEAKER_02]: And one of the most notorious near misses in that regard was the expiles movie.
- 17:08[SPEAKER_02]: Because they don't kiss.
- 17:09[SPEAKER_02]: They lean in the kiss that you get stunned by a being.
- 17:11[SPEAKER_02]: She whips her head away and the entire audience goes,
- 17:15[SPEAKER_02]: And that was 98.
- 17:15[SPEAKER_01]: That does work.
- 17:16[SPEAKER_01]: There's nine weeks.
- 17:17[SPEAKER_02]: And it begins in ancient Texas with like, Neanderthals in the snuff.
- 17:22[SPEAKER_02]: But also they go to Antarctica.
- 17:24[SPEAKER_02]: That's right.
- 17:25[SPEAKER_01]: I think that works.
- 17:26[SPEAKER_01]: I was about to suggest John Carpenter's the thing.
- 17:28[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 17:28[SPEAKER_01]: Definitely.
- 17:29[SPEAKER_01]: I think would work.
- 17:30[SPEAKER_01]: Those guys don't kiss.
- 17:31[SPEAKER_01]: I think there's pretty sure there's a punch in it.
- 17:33[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah, so we got two I'm gonna double feature watching x files fight the future and John Carpenter's the thing That's actually pretty good double feet All right, I'm gonna put them both down.
- 17:43[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, the x files and The thing x files fight the future bunch like the big chill has a phenomenal soundtrack
- 17:51[SPEAKER_02]: That was the age for it though.
- 17:54[SPEAKER_02]: Like all of those movies in the late 90s, even the crappy ones are great soundtracks.
- 17:58[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 17:59[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 17:59[SPEAKER_01]: So that is round one.
- 18:01[SPEAKER_01]: And that is our first movie night of anyone at home wants to watch the X-Wiles fight the future and the thing tonight.
- 18:08[SPEAKER_01]: This weekend whenever you feel like doing it, you absolutely can put in all of these cards over here in a discard pile.
- 18:13[SPEAKER_00]: Now, if somebody watches a movie and they determine that there is kissing or something, that's what it's not.
- 18:18[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, we would leave us a comment on the Patreon page, send us an email, tell us where full of shit.
- 18:23[SPEAKER_01]: We just need to know if we actually...
- 18:25[SPEAKER_02]: There's that scene where Skinner just lays one on Martin Landau.
- 18:30[SPEAKER_02]: All right, there we go.
- 18:31[SPEAKER_01]: Round two, are we all ready?
- 18:33[SPEAKER_01]: Are we all ready?
- 18:33[SPEAKER_02]: Round two, fight.
- 18:34[SPEAKER_01]: Movie has, uh, well, the grammar is wrong.
- 18:38[SPEAKER_01]: The movie is an adaptation.
- 18:39[SPEAKER_01]: No, the movie has an adaptation.
- 18:42[SPEAKER_00]: The movie has is, okay, we know what they name.
- 18:45[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 18:45[SPEAKER_01]: The movie is an adaptation of something.
- 18:48[SPEAKER_00]: Uh, that's a lot of movies.
- 18:50[SPEAKER_01]: Let's just start somewhere, uh, the English patient.
- 18:52[SPEAKER_00]: Sure.
- 18:53[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 18:53[SPEAKER_01]: We've all seen it, right?
- 18:54[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 18:55[SPEAKER_01]: All right, so we started with English patient now does the English hat uh the English does the English, you know, like the do they like in the wick like in witness doesn't have coming down a mountain and it can't have named character dies Spoilers Also, it's World War II and pretty sure they all be dead by now
- 19:16[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I still think it counts.
- 19:18[SPEAKER_01]: I think he dies in the movie, right?
- 19:20[SPEAKER_01]: He dies at the end of the movie.
- 19:21[SPEAKER_02]: He dies at the end of the movie.
- 19:23[SPEAKER_01]: Sorry to spoil the English patient for you, everybody.
- 19:25[SPEAKER_01]: You know what's going on?
- 19:26[SPEAKER_01]: What's the adaptation where a name character doesn't die?
- 19:28[SPEAKER_01]: There is no name to kill a mockingbird.
- 19:31[SPEAKER_01]: To kill a mockingbird.
- 19:32[SPEAKER_01]: They killed a mockingbird.
- 19:35[SPEAKER_02]: That's literally the time.
- 19:37[SPEAKER_01]: The name character dies in the title.
- 19:39[SPEAKER_01]: They don't kill a mockingbird in the movie.
- 19:41[SPEAKER_02]: But it's in the title.
- 19:43[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to fight you there.
- 19:44[SPEAKER_01]: The name, the character dies in the title of the movie.
- 19:47[SPEAKER_02]: The mockingbird is not a character in the movie.
- 19:49[SPEAKER_02]: But not anymore.
- 19:50[SPEAKER_01]: It's a title card.
- 19:52[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to veto that.
- 19:53[SPEAKER_01]: I'm sorry.
- 19:53[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to be that fine.
- 19:55[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to be that guy.
- 19:56[SPEAKER_01]: Anybody?
- 19:57[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to need to fight to go on.
- 19:58[SPEAKER_01]: I'm blanking.
- 19:59[SPEAKER_01]: I'm trying to figure out.
- 20:00[SPEAKER_00]: I'm going to roll man.
- 20:02[SPEAKER_00]: The cat in the hat, nobody dies in the cat in the hat.
- 20:04[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think anybody dies in the cat in the hat.
- 20:06[SPEAKER_01]: OK, I wrote it on the pre-schoolers.
- 20:08[SPEAKER_01]: Certainly not the cat in the hat.
- 20:09[SPEAKER_01]: The hat is immortal.
- 20:10[SPEAKER_01]: They almost killed the babysitter.
- 20:12[SPEAKER_01]: They true.
- 20:12[SPEAKER_01]: But they don't.
- 20:13[SPEAKER_00]: They don't.
- 20:14[SPEAKER_01]: They come back around at the end.
- 20:16[SPEAKER_01]: They killed my soul, but I'm not an ain't character.
- 20:19[SPEAKER_00]: I'm sorry to put that there, but I am hard pressed to think of adaptations where someone doesn't die.
- 20:24[SPEAKER_01]: So here we go.
- 20:25[SPEAKER_01]: It needs to be an adaptation.
- 20:27[SPEAKER_01]: a named character cannot die.
- 20:30[SPEAKER_01]: And it needs to be a sequel.
- 20:32[SPEAKER_01]: Now, I'm going to cover, I'm going to say that recursive adaptation, it can be a sequel to something that was an adaptation.
- 20:38[SPEAKER_01]: It doesn't have to be an adaptation.
- 20:39[SPEAKER_01]: I think that's fair.
- 20:40[SPEAKER_01]: Because other whatnot, everything, oh, I see.
- 20:42[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, I see, you know.
- 20:43[SPEAKER_00]: It would be like, strike two wouldn't count.
- 20:45[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but I think I think we would for the same.
- 20:47[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, for this.
- 20:48[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, but truck two to people.
- 20:50[SPEAKER_02]: I guess some people probably die in truck two.
- 20:52[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah,
- 20:54[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, well, it says a named character out the title character.
- 20:56[SPEAKER_01]: We're got, like, like, any character with the name can't die in the movie.
- 21:00[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 21:00[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, I thought we were going to have to tell you.
- 21:02[SPEAKER_00]: Like, nameless soldiers could, I was thinking of us.
- 21:05[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know why I assume that was the title.
- 21:06[SPEAKER_01]: Right.
- 21:06[SPEAKER_01]: So a name character.
- 21:08[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think a name character dies in Shrek, though.
- 21:10[SPEAKER_00]: Didn't Farquad die, or do we not?
- 21:12[SPEAKER_01]: Farquad died in the first one.
- 21:14[SPEAKER_02]: So, Shrek too, well, it's that the fairy, right?
- 21:17[SPEAKER_01]: Very good.
- 21:18[SPEAKER_01]: God, God, I don't think she does.
- 21:19[SPEAKER_01]: She doesn't.
- 21:19[SPEAKER_01]: I think she does.
- 21:20[SPEAKER_01]: I've been watching a long time, but I don't think she does.
- 21:23[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, there might be like, um, a throwaway gag, or somebody, like, eats tinkerbell.
- 21:28[SPEAKER_00]: That's what I'm wondering if there's like a gingerbread man or something.
- 21:34[SPEAKER_00]: I know they talk about poisoning people, but I don't think anyone talks about it.
- 21:38[SPEAKER_02]: They don't even know what you do with it.
- 21:39[SPEAKER_02]: I think anybody actually dies in like, there's a lot of animated sequels, like the Adams family, right?
- 21:44[SPEAKER_02]: The animated film, they should be killing people, but they aren't.
- 21:47[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think I saw the sequel to the animated film.
- 21:49[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, also it doesn't have to be animated.
- 21:51[SPEAKER_01]: I know, it's been a family values, but theoretically, I pretty sure Christine Baranski and Peter McNickle are eaten by children in that movie, so yeah, yeah, and I'm so proud of that.
- 22:04[SPEAKER_01]: Um, so does that mean we're on track two?
- 22:06[SPEAKER_01]: I can't think of something better than track two.
- 22:09[SPEAKER_01]: We're okay.
- 22:10[SPEAKER_00]: I know there's phenomenal sound track.
- 22:12[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, here we go.
- 22:12[SPEAKER_01]: So we have needs to have be an adaptation.
- 22:15[SPEAKER_01]: A named character cannot die.
- 22:17[SPEAKER_01]: It needs to be sequel.
- 22:18[SPEAKER_01]: But it can't have flying and unfortunately no dragon.
- 22:22[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, dragon.
- 22:23[SPEAKER_01]: I'm pretty sure the fairy godmother flies at some point.
- 22:26[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 22:26[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 22:26[SPEAKER_01]: So can't have any flying.
- 22:28[SPEAKER_01]: Now normally that would not be that difficult.
- 22:31[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, what was the first sequel to the Fin-Man?
- 22:34[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, those are bone mysteries.
- 22:35[SPEAKER_02]: They probably need to be there.
- 22:37[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, wait, this is somebody nice.
- 22:39[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I mean, a character dies in everyone.
- 22:40[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that doesn't work.
- 22:41[SPEAKER_00]: I think a character dies in one of them.
- 22:43[SPEAKER_00]: That's why I keep going to kid some movies because people don't die, usually, unless, you know, you're like Bambi's mom.
- 22:49[SPEAKER_01]: I remember something about what Jane Austen stuff, but I can't think it one that has a sequel.
- 22:53[SPEAKER_00]: Well, me, you could take it the other way.
- 22:55[SPEAKER_02]: There was a Bambi, too.
- 22:56[SPEAKER_02]: I haven't seen Bambi too.
- 22:57[SPEAKER_00]: Richard Jones, the edge of freeze and- Oh, there you go.
- 23:01[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, ooh, that's good because- No one dies in that one.
- 23:04[SPEAKER_01]: No one dies in that one.
- 23:06[SPEAKER_01]: They died in the other.
- 23:07[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, they died in the next one.
- 23:08[SPEAKER_01]: And the next one after that.
- 23:09[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 23:10[SPEAKER_01]: But I think we're good.
- 23:11[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, cool.
- 23:12[SPEAKER_01]: Richard Jones, the edge of freeze.
- 23:13[SPEAKER_00]: And she doesn't fly anywhere, right?
- 23:14[SPEAKER_01]: She does.
- 23:15[SPEAKER_01]: She goes to the fucking Thailand.
- 23:16[SPEAKER_00]: God damn it.
- 23:17[SPEAKER_00]: Well, she does.
- 23:18[SPEAKER_00]: No, she does.
- 23:20[SPEAKER_01]: She's like- Damn it.
- 23:22[SPEAKER_01]: Now, shit.
- 23:23[SPEAKER_01]: Some whimsical creation.
- 23:25[SPEAKER_01]: That's the thing.
- 23:25[SPEAKER_01]: It's got to be like romance or kids movie.
- 23:34[SPEAKER_01]: But not a tragic room.
- 23:35[SPEAKER_01]: No.
- 23:37[SPEAKER_01]: No.
- 23:37[SPEAKER_01]: Wait.
- 23:37[SPEAKER_01]: Wait.
- 23:37[SPEAKER_01]: Wait.
- 23:37[SPEAKER_01]: Wait.
- 23:38[SPEAKER_01]: Wait.
- 23:38[SPEAKER_01]: Wait.
- 23:38[SPEAKER_01]: Wait.
- 23:39[SPEAKER_01]: Wait.
- 23:39[SPEAKER_01]: Wait.
- 23:39[SPEAKER_01]: Wait.
- 23:40[SPEAKER_01]: Wait.
- 23:40[SPEAKER_01]: Wait.
- 23:40[SPEAKER_01]: Wait.
- 23:40[SPEAKER_01]: Wait.
- 23:40[SPEAKER_01]: Wait.
- 23:41[SPEAKER_01]: Wait.
- 23:41[SPEAKER_01]: Wait.
- 23:41[SPEAKER_01]: Wait.
- 23:41[SPEAKER_01]: Wait.
- 23:41[SPEAKER_01]: Wait.
- 23:42[SPEAKER_01]: Wait.
- 23:42[SPEAKER_01]: Wait.
- 23:42[SPEAKER_01]: Wait.
- 23:42[SPEAKER_01]: Wait.
- 23:42[SPEAKER_01]: Wait.
- 23:43[SPEAKER_01]: Wait.
- 23:58[SPEAKER_00]: I'm glad this podcast cannot record faces.
- 24:02[SPEAKER_01]: I think I wrote an article about it for slash film ones.
- 24:06[SPEAKER_02]: Well, there was the, the little mermaid too was about her daughter.
- 24:10[SPEAKER_02]: I wasn't a prequel.
- 24:11[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, I can't remember if a name character dies on that, though.
- 24:13[SPEAKER_01]: I know a name character doesn't die of it.
- 24:14[SPEAKER_02]: Is it Disney film?
- 24:15[SPEAKER_02]: I always murder the villains.
- 24:16[SPEAKER_02]: Exactly, but not the prequel.
- 24:18[SPEAKER_02]: It's just about dancing.
- 24:19[SPEAKER_02]: It's not a villain thing.
- 24:20[SPEAKER_02]: What did the prequel?
- 24:21[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 24:22[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, the little mermaid Ariel's beginning.
- 24:24[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 24:24[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, it's a third film.
- 24:26[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I don't think anyone dies in that.
- 24:28[SPEAKER_01]: I've got to look at money on it.
- 24:30[SPEAKER_00]: I'm not a named singer.
- 24:31[SPEAKER_00]: And surely no one flies.
- 24:32[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I don't think indefinitely no one flies.
- 24:35[SPEAKER_01]: Wait, is Skuddelina?
- 24:37[SPEAKER_00]: Does Skuddel fly?
- 24:38[SPEAKER_01]: Look at the cast list.
- 24:39[SPEAKER_02]: We're a broken that role.
- 24:40[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 24:41[SPEAKER_02]: If Skuddel is in, it's called the Skuddel's a bird.
- 24:43[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 24:43[SPEAKER_02]: Just see, Jim Cummings is Shobo.
- 24:47[SPEAKER_02]: Sam, they're right, Sebastian.
- 24:48[SPEAKER_00]: Everybody loves Shelbo.
- 24:50[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 24:50[SPEAKER_02]: So it feels like a character named Marina Del Rey.
- 24:52[SPEAKER_02]: What?
- 24:53[SPEAKER_02]: That's funny.
- 24:54[SPEAKER_02]: We can all enjoy that.
- 24:55[SPEAKER_02]: Sisters terrestrong as several of the mermaid.
- 24:59[SPEAKER_01]: We're just looking for scottled.
- 25:00[SPEAKER_01]: They don't need to go through there.
- 25:01[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no
- 25:16[SPEAKER_01]: it needs to be an adaptation, it needs to be a sequel.
- 25:20[SPEAKER_01]: A named character can't die, I can't have any flying.
- 25:23[SPEAKER_01]: And it also has, too.
- 25:25[SPEAKER_02]: have a scene set in the city got them at this is all you there's an undersea city isn't really a city or is it more of a collection of way okay look that remember the penis tower all right there's a kingdom though that's not a city i think it's not a city but it's just a brand new underwater kingdom with underwater cities full of fish people
- 25:49[SPEAKER_02]: But there's like towers and buildings in the most Kingdoms have a city in them somewhere.
- 25:53[SPEAKER_02]: I mean, there's a castle in the middle of the city and it's always surrounded by houses and people who live there in the city.
- 26:00[SPEAKER_02]: Behind the walls in some cases, there's always cities.
- 26:04[SPEAKER_01]: I hate that we're vetoing the little mermaid aerials again.
- 26:07[SPEAKER_01]: It was so proud.
- 26:09[SPEAKER_01]: It's a little mermaid.
- 26:10[SPEAKER_00]: The aerials get all good pool.
- 26:12[SPEAKER_00]: You don't know what that card was.
- 26:13[SPEAKER_01]: So it needs to be an adaptation and needs to be a sequel.
- 26:19[SPEAKER_00]: Does anyone disinny one die in babe picking the city?
- 26:22[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, the farmer.
- 26:23[SPEAKER_00]: Frick.
- 26:23[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 26:24[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that's right.
- 26:25[SPEAKER_01]: Right at the beginning.
- 26:25[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah
- 26:29[SPEAKER_01]: And they couldn't get James Graham well for like more than a second.
- 26:31[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, I think it was the killing.
- 26:33[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it was, it was too popular.
- 26:35[SPEAKER_01]: He's taken Hollywood by Storm.
- 26:37[SPEAKER_01]: Babe and the Sheets pig in the city.
- 26:39[SPEAKER_00]: Um, my brain went a little bit the golden age and I'm like, there's no way, surely somebody fucking dies.
- 26:45[SPEAKER_00]: And that was like, that was like, battle scenes.
- 26:47[SPEAKER_02]: And what's, but it says named character.
- 26:49[SPEAKER_01]: Name character.
- 26:50[SPEAKER_00]: So, face the soldier.
- 26:52[SPEAKER_01]: I don't, I've never saw him with a golden age.
- 26:54[SPEAKER_01]: So I can't say now.
- 26:55[SPEAKER_00]: But it's been forever and I didn't like it.
- 27:00[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, I had one.
- 27:00[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, no, and it's pretty sure a name character dies in every Hannibal Lecture moving.
- 27:04[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, surely the beauty.
- 27:06[SPEAKER_00]: It's a there's a murderer move.
- 27:07[SPEAKER_00]: We some really ought to get his brain eaten in one of them, but do you remember his name?
- 27:12[SPEAKER_01]: Mason really oughta.
- 27:13[SPEAKER_01]: Mason Virtua was a girl.
- 27:14[SPEAKER_00]: No, that's your element.
- 27:15[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 27:16[SPEAKER_00]: No, he definitely had it.
- 27:17[SPEAKER_02]: No, he had a name.
- 27:17[SPEAKER_02]: I'm kidding.
- 27:18[SPEAKER_02]: I can't rip it up.
- 27:18[SPEAKER_02]: Officer Edible Brain.
- 27:20[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 27:22[SPEAKER_01]: Well really we should have seen it coming.
- 27:23[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, but the name like that.
- 27:25[SPEAKER_01]: It's like naming a guy E-nigma.
- 27:28[SPEAKER_01]: Of course he's gonna become the regular.
- 27:29[SPEAKER_01]: What was your plan?
- 27:30[SPEAKER_00]: I know writers he is subtext and they're all cowards.
- 27:33[SPEAKER_00]: All cowards.
- 27:34[SPEAKER_00]: Um, is the oh wait It's the oh gosh.
- 27:36[SPEAKER_02]: The city is throwing me.
- 27:38[SPEAKER_01]: It's the everything's the city and everything is people dying in it.
- 27:41[SPEAKER_01]: Like oh It's like these are generic movie tropes.
- 27:45[SPEAKER_01]: Wait wait hold on hold on hold on hold on hold on hold on hold on
- 27:48[SPEAKER_01]: We have to, let's remove, let's remove books from the equation because you can adapt other stuff.
- 27:55[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 27:55[SPEAKER_01]: You can add the video game.
- 27:56[SPEAKER_01]: You can adapt the comic.
- 27:58[SPEAKER_01]: So, um, play, isn't what have you?
- 28:01[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 28:02[SPEAKER_02]: You can't apply.
- 28:03[SPEAKER_01]: So let's stay away from comics.
- 28:05[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, well, that's all flawed.
- 28:06[SPEAKER_01]: That doesn't sound like that.
- 28:07[SPEAKER_01]: That doesn't fly.
- 28:08[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, glide sometimes, but I'm never moving.
- 28:10[SPEAKER_00]: Well, since we already said that a kingdom is a city, we can't do the princess diaries too.
- 28:17[SPEAKER_00]: is what I want to genovia would be a city under the rules that you guys just establish I think we'll see a channel in genovia's the country that they're definitely in a city though but it's supposed to be a scene in the city
- 28:30[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, it's supposed to be.
- 28:31[SPEAKER_01]: That's good.
- 28:31[SPEAKER_01]: A name of it, but there's a main character dying Hamlet to not in the play within a play.
- 28:34[SPEAKER_00]: But that means Princess Dairy 2's would count.
- 28:37[SPEAKER_01]: It was.
- 28:37[SPEAKER_00]: It's Dairy's 2 would count.
- 28:39[SPEAKER_02]: If Hamlet dies, Hamlet is a named character who dies even if it's a play within a play.
- 28:43[SPEAKER_01]: Fine.
- 28:43[SPEAKER_01]: Let's go back to Princess Dairy's 2.
- 28:45[SPEAKER_01]: Does anyone fly to Genovia in that movie?
- 28:47[SPEAKER_02]: Fred, I don't remember.
- 28:49[SPEAKER_02]: I didn't see the second line.
- 28:50[SPEAKER_00]: Just to know if he's right, I don't know if he's in genovia the whole time.
- 28:54[SPEAKER_01]: I feel like they are, but I haven't seen that movie in for ever.
- 28:57[SPEAKER_01]: I think there's only half being attention.
- 28:58[SPEAKER_00]: They surf down the stairs on a mattress, but that's not that's flying.
- 29:03[SPEAKER_01]: That's surfing it best.
- 29:05[SPEAKER_00]: I.
- 29:06[SPEAKER_00]: And Julie Andrews does not die in that movie, right?
- 29:08[SPEAKER_01]: I hope not.
- 29:10[SPEAKER_01]: No, I don't think so.
- 29:11[SPEAKER_01]: I'm still talking about doing another one someday.
- 29:12[SPEAKER_01]: I think they were saying she might be still be able to be in it I think we're good.
- 29:16[SPEAKER_01]: I think we're good.
- 29:18[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, princess diaries too.
- 29:19[SPEAKER_00]: All right All right, I'll take your word for it because I it's been a very long time But I'm I'm pretty sure no one dies no one flies this sounds like signfeld no no hugging no learning No flying no dying no flying no dying.
- 29:34[SPEAKER_01]: Although they do fly in signfeld very famous last episode
- 29:41[SPEAKER_01]: Are we ready to go ready to move the movie needs to have a character who is 12 or younger, okay?
- 29:49[SPEAKER_01]: All right.
- 29:50[SPEAKER_01]: I want to move any movie with a character 12 or younger.
- 29:52[SPEAKER_00]: Matilda.
- 29:53[SPEAKER_01]: Matilda.
- 29:54[SPEAKER_01]: All right.
- 29:54[SPEAKER_01]: Love it.
- 29:54[SPEAKER_01]: Wait, which musical or the Danny DeVito?
- 29:56[SPEAKER_00]: The Danny DeVito one.
- 29:57[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 29:57[SPEAKER_01]: Because I've not seen the musical.
- 29:59[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 29:59[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 30:00[SPEAKER_01]: All right.
- 30:01[SPEAKER_01]: The movie can't have a cat and I think Matilda still qualifies.
- 30:06[SPEAKER_01]: There's no cat I don't think there's a cat I don't think there's even an unnotable cat And it's a little like her parents Nobody has a cat.
- 30:13[SPEAKER_02]: There's a salamander.
- 30:14[SPEAKER_02]: That's like the one notable animal.
- 30:15[SPEAKER_00]: It is an on a cat.
- 30:16[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah Wait hang on a salarator is not a cat a salamander is not
- 30:21[UNKNOWN]: Oh, the poem tastes silly, it forgot to write.
- 30:22[UNKNOWN]: Okay, here we go, here we go.
- 30:23[SPEAKER_01]: We're doing well so far.
- 30:24[SPEAKER_00]: Care to 12 younger, can't have a cat in it.
- 30:25[SPEAKER_00]: But it does mean to have.
- 30:25[SPEAKER_00]: There's a social media account called, does this movie have a cat?
- 30:27[SPEAKER_02]: There's a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit of a little bit
- 30:41[SPEAKER_00]: Is that so people aren't worried if like the cat dies?
- 30:44[SPEAKER_02]: No, it's the cat die.
- 30:45[SPEAKER_01]: It's just letting us live in there.
- 30:47[SPEAKER_02]: If you like cats, and you want to see one in a movie, here's movies with cats in a movie.
- 30:50[SPEAKER_01]: OK, so the character needs to be 12 or younger.
- 30:52[SPEAKER_01]: And the can't be a cat.
- 30:53[SPEAKER_01]: And it has to have a scene set in the United States.
- 30:56[SPEAKER_01]: And the Danny DeVito version is in the United States.
- 30:58[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, OK.
- 30:59[SPEAKER_01]: The musical would not count, but the Danny DeVito version counts.
- 31:02[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, I'm glad we're doing it.
- 31:03[SPEAKER_01]: All right.
- 31:03[SPEAKER_01]: There we go.
- 31:05[SPEAKER_01]: We're working through.
- 31:06[SPEAKER_01]: We're doing it.
- 31:07[SPEAKER_01]: We can do this.
- 31:12[SPEAKER_01]: And it can't have a named mother and I don't think she has a name.
- 31:17[SPEAKER_02]: She does have it.
- 31:19[SPEAKER_02]: No named mother.
- 31:20[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, well now we have to start thinking of
- 31:26[SPEAKER_02]: Bambi's mom doesn't have a name.
- 31:27[SPEAKER_02]: So that's okay.
- 31:28[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, but also there's so many dead mothers and like Disney film There's no like Bambi is I think Bambi counts because there's no cat.
- 31:36[SPEAKER_01]: What is it said in the United States though?
- 31:38[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, I would assume yes.
- 31:40[SPEAKER_01]: I don't know.
- 31:41[SPEAKER_00]: I mean they speak English.
- 31:42[SPEAKER_01]: I just don't know exactly like when exactly like could be Canada I don't know could be
- 31:47[SPEAKER_01]: Well, it's based on an American book.
- 31:48[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, well, let it go.
- 31:49[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, if I'm Bambi, we're doing well.
- 31:51[SPEAKER_01]: We only have one to go.
- 31:52[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, God.
- 31:53[SPEAKER_01]: Well, Bambi, get us there.
- 31:55[SPEAKER_01]: It needs a character 12.
- 31:56[SPEAKER_01]: Excuse me.
- 31:57[SPEAKER_01]: Bambi is said in Austria.
- 31:58[SPEAKER_00]: Bambi.
- 31:59[SPEAKER_01]: I'm so sorry.
- 32:01[SPEAKER_02]: I didn't have to listen.
- 32:01[SPEAKER_02]: First you Bambi, they have bad thing before Bambi.
- 32:06[SPEAKER_02]: They don't think they say in the movie, but it's an Austrian book.
- 32:09[SPEAKER_02]: And we're going to book a set in Austria.
- 32:11[SPEAKER_01]: We're going to set it in the woods of Europe.
- 32:13[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 32:14[SPEAKER_01]: So I need to be a kid.
- 32:15[SPEAKER_01]: There needs to be a kid, and there can't be a mother.
- 32:17[SPEAKER_00]: There can't be a cat, and there can't be a named mother.
- 32:21[SPEAKER_00]: There can be a mother.
- 32:22[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 32:24[SPEAKER_01]: Do we?
- 32:25[SPEAKER_01]: Is it a cat in the neverending story?
- 32:29[SPEAKER_01]: I was about to say is there the names the child like Empress after his mother, but we never hear the name because he shouts it into the flunder Oh But doesn't yell like I don't know what he yells He yells like he yells the name, but we don't hear it because it's like there's a huge storm outside But that wouldn't mean that she is named We just theoretically they're all named.
- 32:50[SPEAKER_01]: I mean if we're going with that and every mother type probably has a name
- 32:55[SPEAKER_00]: I was going if that didn't go anywhere.
- 32:57[SPEAKER_00]: I was gonna I haven't seen this movie either This is basically just a catalog of movies.
- 33:01[SPEAKER_00]: I haven't seen it ever in a story.
- 33:02[SPEAKER_00]: No, no, no, no The movie I'm gonna suggest.
- 33:04[SPEAKER_01]: What's the good just this?
- 33:05[SPEAKER_00]: I was gonna suggest Darren Aronovsky's mother exclamation point because I know there's a baby Oh, they cuz they actually don't say her name.
- 33:13[SPEAKER_02]: They never say her name, but it's not really set
- 33:16[SPEAKER_02]: anywhere.
- 33:17[SPEAKER_02]: That was going to be my question.
- 33:18[SPEAKER_02]: Well, it's not, it's definitely not setting the United States.
- 33:21[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, it's not like an amorphous.
- 33:22[SPEAKER_01]: If it's not, it's kind of, never relevant.
- 33:24[SPEAKER_01]: Never relevant.
- 33:25[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, that's, that's not the United States.
- 33:28[SPEAKER_01]: Well, doesn't have to be kids moving.
- 33:29[SPEAKER_01]: You can just have a kid in it.
- 33:31[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 33:38[SPEAKER_01]: So yeah, I don't have to be about the kid.
- 33:41[SPEAKER_01]: What was that?
- 33:41[SPEAKER_01]: I don't
- 33:46[SPEAKER_02]: No, but Elijah wouldn't know of you, whether it's no mom, but yeah, they never really say them the mom in the never No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no,
- 34:15[SPEAKER_02]: I think we're okay.
- 34:16[SPEAKER_02]: We're gonna go.
- 34:16[SPEAKER_00]: What's that website?
- 34:18[SPEAKER_02]: There you go.
- 34:19[SPEAKER_02]: Is there a cat in the road?
- 34:22[SPEAKER_01]: Well, that's just going to tell you if there's a cat in the street right now.
- 34:25[SPEAKER_01]: Is there a cat in the road?
- 34:26[SPEAKER_00]: Gosh, I hope not.
- 34:27[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, look, there's a kitten that somebody rescued from a road.
- 34:29[SPEAKER_02]: No, yeah, this is okay.
- 34:30[SPEAKER_01]: Wait, that's not going to happen.
- 34:31[SPEAKER_02]: But I think the road counts.
- 34:32[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 34:33[SPEAKER_02]: Don't all the animals die.
- 34:34[SPEAKER_02]: Like, isn't that one of the plot points?
- 34:36[SPEAKER_02]: The dead animals?
- 34:37[SPEAKER_02]: Animals?
- 34:37[SPEAKER_01]: Hmm.
- 34:38[SPEAKER_02]: Which is why there's so many canvels around.
- 34:41[SPEAKER_02]: Oh.
- 34:42[SPEAKER_02]: Well, either side was for fun.
- 34:44[SPEAKER_01]: Well, I mean, it's, it's fine, don't get me wrong.
- 34:48[SPEAKER_01]: All right, I think we're going to go with the road.
- 34:51[SPEAKER_01]: So, character 12 or younger doesn't have a cat is set in the United States, at least one scene, and there can't be a name to mother, but it also means to have a student, a student, a student implies that that's you're going to school or you're actively being tutored.
- 35:07[SPEAKER_00]: You could argue that the dad is trying to show the sun the ways of life now.
- 35:15[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, but is he getting a letter grade at the end?
- 35:17[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think so.
- 35:18[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, you know what?
- 35:19[SPEAKER_02]: A movie doesn't have a named mother.
- 35:22[SPEAKER_02]: A character twa.
- 35:23[SPEAKER_02]: How old is Grogo?
- 35:24[SPEAKER_01]: It's like fizz like fizz like fizz like fizz like fizz like fizz like fizz like fizz like fizz like fizz like fizz like fizz like fizz like fizz like fizz like fizz like fizz like fizz like fizz like fizz like fizz like fizz like fizz like fizz like fizz like fizz like fizz like fizz like fizz like fizz like fizz like fizz like fizz like fizz like fizz like fizz like fizz like fizz like fizz like fizz like fizz like fizz like fizz like fizz like fizz like fizz like fizz like fizz like fizz like fizz like fizz like fizz like fizz like fizz like fizz like fizz like fizz like fizz like fizz like fizz like fizz like fizz like fizz like fizz like fizz like fizz like fizz like fizz like fizz like fizz like fizz like fizz like fizz like f
- 35:54[SPEAKER_02]: I guess, um, which Rotten Jason face, would you want to see making every picture of the face down?
- 36:00[SPEAKER_02]: Because they've redesigned it for your every seat because he takes his mask off at least once and every move.
- 36:05[SPEAKER_00]: And you know Pedro would be gay.
- 36:07[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, Pedro would do anything.
- 36:08[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, Pedro do anything for a dollar.
- 36:10[SPEAKER_01]: Um, all right, so what's it then movie with a student?
- 36:14[SPEAKER_01]: Uh, and
- 36:21[SPEAKER_01]: No, he's too old.
- 36:22[SPEAKER_01]: No, he's too old.
- 36:22[SPEAKER_01]: He's too old.
- 36:22[SPEAKER_01]: He's too old.
- 36:23[SPEAKER_01]: He's too old.
- 36:24[SPEAKER_01]: He's too old.
- 36:24[SPEAKER_01]: He's too old.
- 36:25[SPEAKER_01]: He's too old.
- 36:26[SPEAKER_01]: He's too old.
- 36:27[SPEAKER_01]: He's too old.
- 36:27[SPEAKER_01]: He's too old.
- 36:28[SPEAKER_01]: He's too old.
- 36:28[SPEAKER_01]: He's too old.
- 36:29[SPEAKER_01]: He's too old.
- 36:29[SPEAKER_01]: He's too old.
- 36:30[SPEAKER_01]: He's too old.
- 36:30[SPEAKER_01]: He's too old.
- 36:30[SPEAKER_02]: He's too old.
- 36:31[SPEAKER_02]: He's too old.
- 36:31[SPEAKER_02]: He's too old.
- 36:32[SPEAKER_02]: He's too old.
- 36:32[SPEAKER_02]: He's too old.
- 36:33[SPEAKER_02]: He's too old.
- 36:33[SPEAKER_01]: He's too old.
- 36:33[SPEAKER_01]: He's too old.
- 36:34[SPEAKER_01]: He's too old.
- 36:34[SPEAKER_01]: He's too old.
- 36:34[SPEAKER_01]: He's too old.
- 36:36[SPEAKER_01]: School of Rock, 12 or younger yes, I don't think there's a cat.
- 36:39[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think there's a mom I'm sure there's a mom in there.
- 36:41[SPEAKER_01]: I'm sure there's a parent.
- 36:42[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to let that go because they're not important setting a night.
- 36:46[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I think we're good All right, okay, I was thinking of Lindsey Anderson's if but that's said in British school.
- 36:53[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, okay.
- 36:54[SPEAKER_01]: We're doing good.
- 36:55[SPEAKER_01]: We're doing good.
- 36:56[SPEAKER_01]: Okay Let's do another round.
- 36:59[SPEAKER_01]: Let's have some fun
- 37:01[SPEAKER_00]: We are having fun.
- 37:02[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
- 37:03[SPEAKER_01]: Let's have some fun.
- 37:04[SPEAKER_01]: The speed is sick.
- 37:05[SPEAKER_01]: I want to take a ride on your disco stick.
- 37:10[SPEAKER_01]: That's from a song.
- 37:11[SPEAKER_01]: Get hit us with your rhythm stack.
- 37:12[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
- 37:13[SPEAKER_01]: All right.
- 37:13[SPEAKER_01]: The next round.
- 37:14[SPEAKER_01]: The movie needs to have Explosion.
- 37:17[SPEAKER_01]: Woo!
- 37:17[SPEAKER_01]: To move.
- 37:18[SPEAKER_01]: Multiple explosions.
- 37:19[SPEAKER_01]: Multiple explosions.
- 37:19[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 37:20[SPEAKER_00]: Explosion's plural.
- 37:21[SPEAKER_01]: Hi.
- 37:21[SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to say, die hard with the vengeance.
- 37:23[SPEAKER_02]: I was going for die hard.
- 37:25[SPEAKER_02]: Because there's got to be explosions.
- 37:26[SPEAKER_02]: I was driving straight for Michael Bay there.
- 37:28[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 37:29[SPEAKER_02]: There.
- 37:29[SPEAKER_01]: That's a good multiple explosion moving.
- 37:31[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 37:32[SPEAKER_01]: So we're sorry.
- 37:33[SPEAKER_02]: It's going to be good movies.
- 37:34[SPEAKER_02]: This is also true.
- 37:35[SPEAKER_01]: Well, but theoretically, we have to watch them.
- 37:36[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, yeah.
- 37:37[SPEAKER_01]: It would be entertaining.
- 37:38[SPEAKER_02]: Are we getting at something where it's like, has explosions, but doesn't have violence?
- 37:41[SPEAKER_02]: Like, I could be fun, right?
- 37:43[SPEAKER_02]: I'm like, contradict itself.
- 37:44[SPEAKER_02]: That's fine.
- 37:44[SPEAKER_02]: That has a cat, but doesn't have a cat.
- 37:46[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, that's fine.
- 37:47[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think there's a cat.
- 37:48[SPEAKER_01]: We're already sure the shooting or movie would work.
- 37:50[SPEAKER_01]: OK, it needs to have explosions.
- 37:52[SPEAKER_01]: And it can't have a musician or stand-up comic in the lead role.
- 37:58[SPEAKER_00]: think Bruce Wolves was a stand-up comic or at least it was a long yeah comedic are we are we going to overlook the return of Bruno oh you know what I'm talking about he's a musician yeah he put out a list album in the 80s it's called the return of Bruno I'm not kidding now you're looking at me in that direction with the vengeance
- 38:18[SPEAKER_00]: Bruce Willis Willis!
- 38:20[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, you're right.
- 38:21[SPEAKER_01]: This was a fair thought.
- 38:23[SPEAKER_01]: You are 100% right.
- 38:25[SPEAKER_01]: I was, wow.
- 38:26[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
- 38:27[SPEAKER_01]: We have to count that.
- 38:28[SPEAKER_01]: We can't.
- 38:29[SPEAKER_01]: We die with the vengeance doesn't count.
- 38:30[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
- 38:31[SPEAKER_01]: I'm sorry.
- 38:32[SPEAKER_00]: He must express himself.
- 38:33[SPEAKER_01]: I should know.
- 38:34[SPEAKER_01]: You've got it.
- 38:34[SPEAKER_01]: You know what?
- 38:35[SPEAKER_01]: You got to be dead right.
- 38:36[SPEAKER_02]: And nobody remembers this, but Bruno got his own TV show.
- 38:40[SPEAKER_02]: It was a watch too.
- 38:41[SPEAKER_02]: I remember Bruno the kid.
- 38:43[SPEAKER_02]: No.
- 38:44[SPEAKER_02]: Yes.
- 38:44[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 38:45[SPEAKER_02]: Where he was like a kid spy.
- 38:47[SPEAKER_02]: I don't like any of this.
- 38:49[SPEAKER_00]: And Bruce Willis voiced in my case.
- 38:50[SPEAKER_02]: Bruce Willis, yeah, I produced it.
- 38:51[SPEAKER_02]: I've already seen it.
- 38:53[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 38:53[SPEAKER_00]: It was literally like Bruno's world or something.
- 38:56[SPEAKER_02]: It was okay with any of this.
- 38:57[SPEAKER_02]: It's called Bruno the Kid.
- 38:58[SPEAKER_02]: And yeah, it was produced.
- 39:01[SPEAKER_02]: And I don't think it was written by Bruce Willis, but he did star in it last in a season.
- 39:08[SPEAKER_01]: Um, that sounds awful.
- 39:09[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 39:10[SPEAKER_02]: Uh, we've got Tony Jay and Mark Hamill.
- 39:12[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 39:12[SPEAKER_02]: Tim Curry blitz.
- 39:13[SPEAKER_01]: Let's back it up because this is a pretty easy one.
- 39:15[SPEAKER_01]: We just need explosions and no musicians or Santa Comic in the lead role.
- 39:19[SPEAKER_01]: Any James Bond movie practically.
- 39:21[SPEAKER_01]: Well, not any, but practically most transformers.
- 39:28[SPEAKER_01]: Um, hold on, let's think.
- 39:29[SPEAKER_01]: Child above, um, please, the voice that they John Floyd Peter Collins, Megan Fox, none of them are stand up.
- 39:37[SPEAKER_01]: John Floyd.
- 39:38[SPEAKER_01]: I think we're good.
- 39:39[SPEAKER_01]: That's John for Toronto.
- 39:40[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I think we're good.
- 39:41[SPEAKER_01]: I think we're good.
- 39:41[SPEAKER_01]: Michael Bay is transformers.
- 39:44[SPEAKER_01]: It needs to have explosions.
- 39:46[SPEAKER_01]: It can't have a musician or stand up comic in the lead role, A. Lee role.
- 39:50[SPEAKER_01]: And
- 39:52[SPEAKER_01]: It needs to have a one word title, not including a or the, it is just transformers.
- 39:57[SPEAKER_01]: We're still good.
- 39:58[SPEAKER_01]: The downside is that we'd have to watch transformers.
- 40:01[SPEAKER_01]: I haven't seen the first one and you never have.
- 40:03[SPEAKER_01]: I started with the same.
- 40:05[SPEAKER_02]: So the sucky one.
- 40:06[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, here we go.
- 40:07[SPEAKER_01]: We're screwed.
- 40:08[SPEAKER_01]: It can't have animation.
- 40:12[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, so it's got to be live action.
- 40:14[SPEAKER_01]: One word title multiple explosions and a kind of a musician or stand-up comic in the world.
- 40:19[SPEAKER_01]: Well, now I'm going to like Australian low budget exploitation, though.
- 40:23[SPEAKER_00]: That rules out every Kevin Hart movie.
- 40:25[SPEAKER_02]: So yeah, that's right.
- 40:29[SPEAKER_00]: It rules out every any Murphy movie.
- 40:32[SPEAKER_02]: Shoot.
- 40:32[SPEAKER_02]: Got it.
- 40:33[SPEAKER_02]: Metro.
- 40:34[SPEAKER_02]: No, Eddie Murphy was a standard community.
- 40:36[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, because he was standing for me, I'm sorry.
- 40:37[SPEAKER_02]: And the musician, that's right.
- 40:38[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, yeah, that's right.
- 40:39[SPEAKER_02]: Don't trouble.
- 40:40[SPEAKER_02]: We have that right here.
- 40:41[SPEAKER_01]: That's what we do.
- 40:41[SPEAKER_01]: It was a lot of trouble that we're in right now.
- 40:44[SPEAKER_01]: So what's a really blue-y-up-y movie?
- 40:46[SPEAKER_01]: What about speed?
- 40:49[SPEAKER_02]: Speed has no comedians.
- 40:51[SPEAKER_02]: I'd non-lead roles.
- 40:52[SPEAKER_00]: No musicians.
- 40:54[SPEAKER_00]: Well, dogs, dogs, dogs.
- 40:55[SPEAKER_00]: Dogs, dogs.
- 41:00[SPEAKER_00]: First, you dodged star.
- 41:02[SPEAKER_01]: Gana Reeves has a band called Dog Star.
- 41:04[SPEAKER_01]: They were never that big, but they do count.
- 41:06[SPEAKER_00]: They're older now, like they're touring now, because everyone loves Gana.
- 41:09[SPEAKER_01]: So we can't have any Russell Crow movies.
- 41:12[SPEAKER_01]: We can't have any Jared Leta movies, oh, Darn.
- 41:17[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, I had one.
- 41:19[SPEAKER_02]: What about the Ross Explosions Plural, right?
- 41:22[SPEAKER_01]: We're about the rock.
- 41:24[SPEAKER_00]: Sean Connery.
- 41:25[SPEAKER_01]: Nicholas Cage.
- 41:28[SPEAKER_01]: at Harris.
- 41:30[SPEAKER_01]: Those are the three.
- 41:31[SPEAKER_02]: I think more like those are the leads.
- 41:33[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 41:33[SPEAKER_00]: I think for us.
- 41:34[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, Tony Todd is one of the mercenary.
- 41:36[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, I think we're good.
- 41:36[SPEAKER_02]: I think we're good.
- 41:38[SPEAKER_02]: OK, I don't think I have some more title.
- 41:40[SPEAKER_01]: It's not counting.
- 41:41[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, not counting that.
- 41:43[SPEAKER_01]: OK.
- 41:43[SPEAKER_01]: The rock counts.
- 41:44[SPEAKER_00]: OK. Rock comes up.
- 41:45[SPEAKER_00]: All right.
- 41:45[SPEAKER_01]: We're back in Michael Bay territory.
- 41:47[SPEAKER_01]: We're on good ground.
- 41:48[SPEAKER_01]: and it's one of the, actually half way decent ones.
- 41:50[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, like that one.
- 41:51[SPEAKER_01]: Explosions, no musician, or stand up comic, one word title, no animation, but it also needs to have a sequel.
- 41:58[SPEAKER_02]: No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no
- 42:22[SPEAKER_01]: Well, let's go with Gareth Edwards one.
- 42:26[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 42:26[SPEAKER_02]: Well, that's animated.
- 42:28[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 42:29[SPEAKER_02]: So let's go with any of these.
- 42:30[SPEAKER_02]: Ishera Honda.
- 42:32[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, yep.
- 42:33[SPEAKER_01]: Which one has a lot of explosions?
- 42:34[SPEAKER_01]: I guess they were all they had.
- 42:36[SPEAKER_01]: One word title.
- 42:38[SPEAKER_01]: The first Godzilla does have some stop motion and that's so we can't use the first one.
- 42:42[SPEAKER_00]: Does it?
- 42:42[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 42:43[SPEAKER_01]: It's only like a couple of shots, but yeah.
- 42:45[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 42:45[SPEAKER_02]: Then just the next one comes all the rage again.
- 42:48[SPEAKER_02]: One word title.
- 42:51[SPEAKER_01]: What about, um, um, are there a lot of explosions in Gamera?
- 42:56[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, there's there's explosions all those old Kaiju movies because they run into like power stations And I think we're I think I think I think Gamera Gamera.
- 43:05[SPEAKER_01]: I don't think there's like an animated title sequence It could be wrong and I'm not terribly familiar with the cast so well I know that they they do have the illustrious stand-up comedy careers and but
- 43:14[SPEAKER_02]: We're going to bank on our own ignorance and we're going to do Gamma.
- 43:17[SPEAKER_00]: I can't prove us wrong.
- 43:19[SPEAKER_00]: Watch the movie.
- 43:20[SPEAKER_02]: Is the lead actor in Gamma?
- 43:22[SPEAKER_01]: Like, have famous musicians stand up or music career?
- 43:26[SPEAKER_01]: Or both.
- 43:26[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.
- 43:27[SPEAKER_01]: It's like the Meatree Martin.
- 43:28[SPEAKER_02]: Like we couldn't do Moffra because those the twins were professional musicians.
- 43:33[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, musicians, the peanuts.
- 43:35[SPEAKER_01]: All right, let's do two more rounds and then we will call it a night.
- 43:38[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 43:39[SPEAKER_01]: All right, so next up, everyone good, everyone good, everyone good, everyone good.
- 43:42[SPEAKER_01]: No one need a break.
- 43:43[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 43:43[SPEAKER_02]: Hold on, let me take a shot here.
- 43:44[SPEAKER_01]: That was one for this.
- 43:46[SPEAKER_02]: All right, we're starting here.
- 43:47[SPEAKER_02]: So this is a really weird lineup because we just want from school of rock to gamma here's the line of so far.
- 43:53[SPEAKER_01]: The X swells fight the future.
- 43:57[SPEAKER_01]: The thing.
- 43:58[SPEAKER_01]: The princess diaries too.
- 43:59[SPEAKER_01]: Did that have a subtitle?
- 44:00[SPEAKER_02]: I feel like it.
- 44:01[SPEAKER_02]: Royal engagement.
- 44:02[SPEAKER_01]: Royal engagement.
- 44:03[SPEAKER_01]: That's right.
- 44:04[SPEAKER_01]: Royal engagement.
- 44:06[SPEAKER_01]: It's the most engaging film audience here, but I just want to shmoad down.
- 44:10[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, we're like, engagement, school of rock followed by Gamma.
- 44:15[SPEAKER_01]: That's a really fun act.
- 44:16[SPEAKER_01]: I'm not going to lie.
- 44:17[SPEAKER_02]: All right, and if we're doing this as like an all nighter by the time you get to Gamma, you're going to be so serious.
- 44:21[SPEAKER_01]: You're going to be in the delirious.
- 44:23[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, sure.
- 44:23[SPEAKER_01]: This is real movie you're not.
- 44:25[SPEAKER_02]: Gamma, it's really neat.
- 44:26[SPEAKER_01]: Here we go.
- 44:27[SPEAKER_01]: The movie needs to have a celebration or holiday.
- 44:31[SPEAKER_01]: So some sort of formal festive event about the celebration.
- 44:35[SPEAKER_01]: No.
- 44:36[SPEAKER_01]: Tom has been to birds in celebration.
- 44:38[SPEAKER_00]: I haven't seen that moving.
- 44:39[SPEAKER_00]: I don't know if there's like cats and shit in that.
- 44:41[SPEAKER_01]: No, we're going to, I think it looks, let's let's make it a little bit less opaque.
- 44:45[SPEAKER_01]: Hello, thank you.
- 44:46[SPEAKER_02]: A lot of people saw the celebration.
- 44:48[SPEAKER_02]: I was a big hit.
- 44:49[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't say it was unpopular.
- 44:50[SPEAKER_01]: It said it was opaque.
- 44:52[SPEAKER_01]: It's not the same thing.
- 44:55[SPEAKER_02]: Take place in a dinner.
- 44:56[SPEAKER_02]: Hey, let's see.
- 44:57[SPEAKER_01]: Let's let's do something.
- 44:57[SPEAKER_01]: Let's try something other than Halloween.
- 44:59[SPEAKER_01]: Let's not Halloween.
- 44:59[SPEAKER_01]: What's the holiday moving, Andy?
- 45:01[SPEAKER_01]: Any holiday moving?
- 45:01[SPEAKER_01]: No, I didn't do Christmas story before, but we have a try.
- 45:07[SPEAKER_01]: My my mind just go Christmas movie the planes trains and all will be on the train It's a Thanksgiving So it's a holiday does that be Christmas so it's a good movie makes this really hard That's true that is that is doing it on hard mode All right celebration or holiday.
- 45:23[SPEAKER_00]: We do the last round with seven cards.
- 45:25[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, we yeah, let's do it Okay, if you want to do really hard mode only straight to video
- 45:30[SPEAKER_00]: Oh no.
- 45:31[SPEAKER_00]: I'm out.
- 45:31[SPEAKER_00]: I'm out.
- 45:32[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 45:32[SPEAKER_01]: It needs to have a celebration over a holiday, but the movie can't have a character who goes underwater and I think we're safe.
- 45:41[SPEAKER_01]: I think we're safe.
- 45:43[SPEAKER_00]: I don't think they can have a lot of stuff happens to them, but I'm pretty sure they never get submerged.
- 45:47[SPEAKER_00]: Like, you might, I think it might not be strange.
- 45:50[SPEAKER_01]: Boats and all the meals.
- 45:51[SPEAKER_01]: I think we're almost the sequel.
- 45:52[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 45:53[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 45:53[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 45:53[SPEAKER_01]: Those right itself does that.
- 45:55[SPEAKER_01]: yeah it was uh it was uh boats hovercrafts and horses no it would have a good one all right the movie has a celebration or holiday no character goes underwater but there needs to be a cop or a criminal some cop and playing through some of the bills at one point i think so cuz don't think it pulled over when the car is like destroyed
- 46:16[SPEAKER_01]: I don't remember that.
- 46:17[SPEAKER_01]: Also, like, tend to confuse this movie with Dutch.
- 46:20[SPEAKER_00]: Oh.
- 46:20[SPEAKER_01]: And I really thought the only person who does that.
- 46:23[SPEAKER_01]: Well, Dutch is very rude.
- 46:24[SPEAKER_01]: That is a rude trip.
- 46:25[SPEAKER_01]: It's ridden by John Hughes.
- 46:26[SPEAKER_00]: Isn't it sent up at Thanksgiving as well?
- 46:28[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, no, it's a, no, it's kind of, you're really similar, actually.
- 46:31[SPEAKER_02]: Well, we can switch to Dutch because I know there's a comment.
- 46:33[SPEAKER_02]: Well, there's also criminals.
- 46:35[SPEAKER_00]: Okay, so we're good, we're good, Dutch, all right, I don't remember Dutch enough to remember.
- 46:41[SPEAKER_01]: I have seen a Dutch many times, and it is a practically perennial.
- 46:45[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, and it can't have a boat or a ship.
- 46:50[SPEAKER_00]: That goes forward.
- 46:51[SPEAKER_00]: That goes forward.
- 46:54[SPEAKER_02]: All right, so we're doing good.
- 46:55[SPEAKER_02]: Dutch is a Dutch is getting a stretch is still there.
- 46:57[SPEAKER_02]: All right.
- 46:58[SPEAKER_02]: And last one.
- 46:59[SPEAKER_02]: And also if this gets people to watch Dutch, then you've done this or hopefully it's out there.
- 47:03[SPEAKER_01]: A last.
- 47:05[SPEAKER_01]: There needs to be a movie or TV show within the movie.
- 47:08[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, no.
- 47:10[SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
- 47:10[SPEAKER_00]: How about home alone?
- 47:11[SPEAKER_01]: Home alone fits all of this.
- 47:12[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 47:14[SPEAKER_01]: home alone if it's all of this.
- 47:15[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, there's a set there's it's Christmas movie.
- 47:17[SPEAKER_01]: No, it goes under water.
- 47:18[SPEAKER_01]: He doesn't go anywhere.
- 47:19[SPEAKER_02]: Well, they're, he doesn't go under water.
- 47:21[SPEAKER_02]: She's uh, she's in an aircraft and a truck.
- 47:24[SPEAKER_01]: But not about not about not about not about.
- 47:26[SPEAKER_01]: There are cops and criminals.
- 47:28[SPEAKER_00]: Yep.
- 47:28[SPEAKER_01]: And uh, there and there is and the angels with filthy souls.
- 47:31[SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
- 47:32[SPEAKER_01]: That's right.
- 47:32[SPEAKER_01]: So we're good.
- 47:33[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, home alone.
- 47:34[SPEAKER_01]: Can we change one by the end?
- 47:35[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, wouldn't it be great if they were in the same universe?
- 47:39[SPEAKER_02]: Here's what I want.
- 47:40[SPEAKER_02]: Project us on film and then just play all of the Reels from these movies in random order.
- 47:48[SPEAKER_02]: It's like, oh, Kevin McAllister is all the camera.
- 47:52[SPEAKER_01]: Alright, here we go.
- 47:53[SPEAKER_02]: Catherine, I'll hear us in Alien.
- 47:56[SPEAKER_01]: And we're lucky to have her.
- 47:57[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 47:58[SPEAKER_01]: Alright, P. Here we go.
- 48:00[SPEAKER_01]: Last round, we're going to do seven cards.
- 48:02[SPEAKER_02]: Alright, here we go.
- 48:02[SPEAKER_01]: That'll help us.
- 48:04[SPEAKER_02]: Do you want to add any other, like, let me know, let me know.
- 48:07[SPEAKER_01]: I think something's going to be hard on our instructions.
- 48:09[SPEAKER_01]: Like, unless we get lucky, seven's going to be pretty hard.
- 48:12[SPEAKER_00]: I mean, that last one went pretty smoothly.
- 48:14[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, but I think if we'd added a couple more things, it would have been difficult.
- 48:17[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, I just want to say that the celebration would have worked as well.
- 48:21[SPEAKER_02]: Well, there's only for you.
- 48:22[SPEAKER_02]: There's no movie with a name.
- 48:23[SPEAKER_02]: Damn right there.
- 48:24[SPEAKER_02]: But now, you're a little bit like that.
- 48:26[SPEAKER_00]: Your listeners get to watch Home Alone at like four in the morning.
- 48:29[SPEAKER_01]: After the camera.
- 48:30[SPEAKER_00]: That sounds amazing.
- 48:32[SPEAKER_01]: All right.
- 48:33[SPEAKER_01]: Last one.
- 48:34[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 48:34[SPEAKER_01]: The movie needs to have a character wearing a tie.
- 48:39[SPEAKER_01]: All right.
- 48:39[SPEAKER_01]: James Bond.
- 48:40[SPEAKER_02]: Which one of us start with the beginning?
- 48:42[SPEAKER_01]: Dr. No, Dr. No, it's not what Dr. No, but the movie the E on Proctions the movie can't have a non-English language spoken All of the James Bond.

- 49:18[SPEAKER_01]: Good night and good luck.
- 49:20[SPEAKER_01]: So we're good.
- 49:20[SPEAKER_01]: We're set.
- 49:21[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, almost halfway there.
- 49:23[SPEAKER_01]: There needs to be a character wearing a tie, there needs to be an and or the on the title and a non-incus language can't be spoken.
- 49:30[SPEAKER_01]: And it can't have gold, gems or jewelry.
- 49:35[SPEAKER_01]: I'm sure they're wedding bands, but I'm not gonna count that.
- 49:37[SPEAKER_01]: Or what about like a nice wristwatch?
- 49:39[SPEAKER_01]: Because the little ratchee isn't it.
- 49:42[SPEAKER_02]: Oh no!

- 49:51[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I don't think that I think I'm pretty sure that's not going to work.
- 49:53[SPEAKER_02]: We'll ever want you ruined my night again.
- 49:55[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 49:58[SPEAKER_01]: All right, all right, character wearing a tie and or the title.
- 50:03[SPEAKER_01]: No, no gold gems or jewelry, which I would be all right.
- 50:06[SPEAKER_02]: It kind of gets rid of like the odd couple.
- 50:10[SPEAKER_00]: Did they?
- 50:10[SPEAKER_01]: They don't enter the.
- 50:12[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, the odd girl.
- 50:13[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, I was thinking of it as a.
- 50:15[SPEAKER_02]: There's no other than the odd couple.
- 50:16[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, no, you're right.
- 50:17[SPEAKER_00]: You know, you want any.
- 50:20[SPEAKER_01]: I think we're good.
- 50:20[SPEAKER_01]: I'm sure I'm sure there's a wedding ring bit at some point.
- 50:23[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, wait, they get divorced.
- 50:24[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I don't know.
- 50:25[SPEAKER_00]: I feel like, but let it get in.
- 50:28[SPEAKER_00]: It's not like it's like freaking uncut jams.
- 50:30[SPEAKER_00]: Like it's not uncut.
- 50:31[SPEAKER_02]: No, I'd be willing to let it slide.
- 50:33[SPEAKER_02]: Can't turn it tight.
- 50:35[SPEAKER_02]: I know when David Kronenberg makes movies, he usually directs Denise Kronenberg to not include jewelry.
- 50:42[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, there's no jewelry and David Kronenberg movies.
- 50:45[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, so I want that fits the category character wearing a tie The fly Does he wear a tie?
- 50:55[SPEAKER_02]: He does at the beginning.
- 50:56[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, they needed a party.
- 50:57[SPEAKER_02]: He's wearing a suit.
- 50:57[SPEAKER_01]: That's right.
- 50:58[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 50:58[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 50:58[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, so got the fly.
- 50:59[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 51:00[SPEAKER_01]: David Kronenberg's a fly.
- 51:00[SPEAKER_01]: We got three more cards here
- 51:02[SPEAKER_01]: It needs to have a character wearing a tie, and andoreth on the title.
- 51:06[SPEAKER_01]: You can't have any of this language, a non-acoust language.
- 51:09[SPEAKER_01]: You can't have gold gems or jewelry, and it needs to have a breakup.
- 51:12[SPEAKER_01]: The final one.
- 51:13[SPEAKER_01]: Yes, it's the worst.
- 51:14[SPEAKER_01]: Absolutely.
- 51:14[SPEAKER_01]: It's a legit, dearly bad breakup.
- 51:17[SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
- 51:17[SPEAKER_01]: All right, so we're going.
- 51:18[SPEAKER_02]: Breaking up with you because you're a bug.
- 51:19[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 51:21[SPEAKER_01]: What's going to be a fire while in that relationship?
- 51:24[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, so we're doing good.
- 51:26[SPEAKER_01]: Two more to go.
- 51:27[SPEAKER_01]: Character rang a tie and are on the title.
- 51:29[SPEAKER_01]: It needs to have a break up in it.
- 51:31[SPEAKER_01]: No, not in this language.
- 51:33[SPEAKER_01]: No gold gems are jewelry.
- 51:36[SPEAKER_01]: No magic or advanced technology.
- 51:39[SPEAKER_02]: That's a fad.

- 51:44[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 51:45[SPEAKER_02]: All that way.
- 51:46[SPEAKER_00]: My hubris got a sin to this situation.
- 51:48[SPEAKER_00]: It was just something weird.
- 51:50[SPEAKER_00]: We would have been fine.
- 51:50[SPEAKER_00]: We would have been fine.
- 51:51[SPEAKER_02]: I think let's go back to the start.
- 51:53[SPEAKER_02]: Let's think and start with the suits.
- 51:54[SPEAKER_02]: Okay.
- 51:55[SPEAKER_02]: And move forward.
- 51:56[SPEAKER_01]: Pretty much any movie from the 1950s backwards in the period piece.
- 52:00[SPEAKER_01]: So what about the Maltese Falcon?
- 52:05[SPEAKER_01]: Well, there's no, there's not English language.

- 52:27[SPEAKER_01]: He's go Friday.
- 52:28[SPEAKER_01]: He's got Friday.
- 52:28[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
- 52:29[SPEAKER_00]: Well, that doesn't have an end or a vote.

- 53:05[SPEAKER_01]: I didn't understand that either.
- 53:06[SPEAKER_02]: I did see it.
- 53:07[SPEAKER_01]: I don't feel like a lot of rom-coms were fit the least.
- 53:12[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.

- 53:25[SPEAKER_00]: And so what does it say?
- 53:26[SPEAKER_00]: No, I was going to say Joe versus the volcano.
- 53:28[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, yeah, there's an icon.
- 53:29[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, yeah.
- 53:30[SPEAKER_01]: Um, you've got the mail, um, addicted to the love.

- 54:22[SPEAKER_00]: I don't remember if there's a breakup, but otherwise, I think it works.
- 54:26[SPEAKER_00]: The pursuit of happiness.
- 54:28[SPEAKER_01]: You know, I've never seen all the pursuit of happiness.
- 54:30[SPEAKER_01]: Shoot.

- 55:18[SPEAKER_00]: Death is the ultimate breakout.
- 55:20[SPEAKER_00]: So tell Death to us, part.
- 55:23[SPEAKER_01]: I think if you told Dr. Richard Kimball that, I know that break up was hard on you.
- 55:27[SPEAKER_01]: He'd probably take a bridge.
- 55:29[SPEAKER_01]: Throw me off the waterfall.
- 55:32[SPEAKER_01]: We still have another card at this.
- 55:34[SPEAKER_02]: I didn't kill my wife, but you're going to.
- 55:37[SPEAKER_00]: I'm trying to think of rom-coms because you're right.
- 55:40[SPEAKER_00]: They break up and they make up and they're all dressed so well.
- 55:45[SPEAKER_01]: Kate and Lee, another magic shit.
- 55:46[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, there is.
- 55:47[SPEAKER_01]: Because why would Lee and Paul even be there?
- 55:49[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, I just just luck.
- 55:51[SPEAKER_02]: There's something like that.
- 55:53[SPEAKER_02]: No, they did wear dresses.
- 55:54[SPEAKER_00]: Do you have a lot of clothing?
- 55:57[SPEAKER_02]: I don't think there's a neck tie in it.
- 55:59[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, they don't worry.
- 56:00[SPEAKER_02]: Nobody wears suits.
- 56:01[SPEAKER_02]: They're all wear t-shirts and that, maybe.
- 56:03[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah.

- 56:05[SPEAKER_01]: Wait, don't they look suits at the end?
- 56:07[SPEAKER_01]: Like when they're for the, for the, um, Oh, I guess.
- 56:10[SPEAKER_02]: Jason Schwartzman's character.
- 56:12[SPEAKER_01]: Does he, I think he wears his suit.

- 56:17[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, there's magic in that.
- 56:18[SPEAKER_01]: There's magic in that.
- 56:19[SPEAKER_01]: No, there's magic in that.
- 56:20[SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 56:22[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, shit, I just have a, um, I'm going, I'm trying to go back to like the 40s and 50s, just because everybody's wearing suits and there's things.
- 56:29[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, hear me out.
- 56:30[SPEAKER_02]: Hear me out.
- 56:30[SPEAKER_02]: I think I might have that.
- 56:31[SPEAKER_02]: Oh, I got one.
- 56:32[SPEAKER_02]: I'll get that out of the beautiful.
- 56:34[SPEAKER_02]: I've never seen that.
- 56:35[SPEAKER_02]: The Vincent Manelli film with Kirk Douglas.
- 56:38[SPEAKER_02]: It's about it.
- 56:39[SPEAKER_02]: It takes place, or you could, no, I'd say.
- 56:44[SPEAKER_02]: I believe you, because Sunset Boulevard, it's...
- 56:47[SPEAKER_02]: Okay, I mean, I feel like that's the correct answer.
- 56:49[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, here's one that we would have actually seen.
- 56:51[SPEAKER_01]: And I sure there may be a piece of jewelry in it, but it is not prominent, and I don't think it's a thing.
- 56:56[SPEAKER_01]: And the characters are who would wear jewelry or actually rather impoverished in it.
- 57:00[SPEAKER_01]: Pride and prejudice.
- 57:02[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, characters we're in a tie and in the title definitely break up.
- 57:06[SPEAKER_01]: No, no, no, not in this language spoken Gold gems and jewelry kind of a non thing is the ban it's aren't doing well And there's no matter where the ribbon is.

- 57:46[SPEAKER_01]: kind of magic or advanced technology.
- 57:48[SPEAKER_01]: It must have a character wearing a tie.
- 57:50[SPEAKER_01]: It must have and or the on the title.
- 57:52[SPEAKER_01]: It must have a break up.
- 57:53[SPEAKER_01]: And finally, it must have a female main character.
- 57:59[SPEAKER_02]: That's a good one to watch at this all night or you watch home alone and the sun comes up with pride and pride.
- 58:05[SPEAKER_01]: There you go.

- 1:01:16[SPEAKER_01]: And most importantly, Angie tell us where people can find snack fam.
- 1:01:21[SPEAKER_00]: Tell us about snack fam, people who are new.
- 1:01:23[SPEAKER_00]: So snack them is a podcast dedicated to the weird wild world of limited edition snacks.
- 1:01:29[SPEAKER_00]: And in this podcast, both myself and mine and Whitney Sun Henry, taste limited edition snacks.
- 1:01:36[SPEAKER_00]: Things we have tried so far include chili line mango peeps.
- 1:01:41[SPEAKER_00]: We had three different flavors of M&M's recently.
- 1:01:44[SPEAKER_00]: There was a flavor vote.
- 1:01:46[SPEAKER_00]: There's some fun savory stuff that we have on deck for the next couple of episodes and the last episode that just dropped we have Firecracker pop flavored Oreos and That is so like pop rocks and there's something you know that that's what I think is like a bomb bomb
- 1:02:04[SPEAKER_00]: Oh, sorry, that was our assumption going in and there actually was an Oreo cold firecracker that came out a couple of years ago that actually did have popping candy in it.
- 1:02:13[SPEAKER_01]: Oh, see, that's why I was thinking about it.
- 1:02:15[SPEAKER_00]: But yeah, we we taste them live on air.
- 1:02:18[SPEAKER_00]: So what you hear is our unfiltered reaction here is what you get.
- 1:02:22[SPEAKER_01]: Do you have a grail?
- 1:02:24[SPEAKER_01]: Like one that you're just like I we would love to track this down or just one that you're hoping to make one day.
- 1:02:29[SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
- 1:02:30[SPEAKER_00]: Well, our mission, our unofficially official mission with Snackfam is a couple of years ago, there was a collab between Pepsi and Peeps.
- 1:02:39[SPEAKER_00]: That was, didn't really have a cool name.
- 1:02:42[SPEAKER_00]: It was just Peeps Labored Pepsi, that it came to be known colloquially as Pepsi.
- 1:02:47[SPEAKER_00]: And we would love that as Pepsi, that's Pepsi.
- 1:02:50[SPEAKER_00]: And we would love for the fine makers of Pepsi and Peeps to get it together again
- 1:02:58[SPEAKER_01]: Now, the best peeps are actually the chocolate dipped peeps.
- 1:03:01[SPEAKER_01]: Can we get chocolate dipped peeps?
- 1:03:04[SPEAKER_01]: Where the can, that's like covered in chocolate.
- 1:03:06[SPEAKER_00]: So you would like it all through the can?
- 1:03:07[SPEAKER_02]: Yeah, we have a look at all of it.
- 1:03:09[SPEAKER_02]: We just chuckled marshmallow flavored cola.
- 1:03:12[SPEAKER_01]: I mean, if you want to get lazy, it's also has the sugar, it also has the granulated sugar.
- 1:03:18[SPEAKER_01]: Okay, so it's not sweet enough for you.
- 1:03:19[SPEAKER_02]: There'd have to be like some sugar, like some sandy sugar in the bottom of the can.
- 1:03:23[SPEAKER_02]: So I mean, they get that last swim.
- 1:03:25[SPEAKER_02]: That's what we need it.
- 1:03:26[SPEAKER_02]: Sweet sugary salt in the bottom of the can.
