- 0:39Speaker 4: Am I right?
- 0:40Speaker 2: Apparently?
- 0:41Speaker 5: So?
- 0:41Speaker 4: Yeah, year boy, Apparently you hate Thursdays.
- 0:43Speaker 2: Yeah, well I always consider Thursday my hump day. Yeah,
- 0:46Speaker 2: because you know, Friday's Friday and you get the Friday vibes,
- 0:50Speaker 2: but Thursday you realize you've still got one more show
- 0:53Speaker 2: before the Friday.
- 0:54Speaker 4: You like Christmas Eve?
- 0:55Speaker 2: I hate Christmas Eve.
- 0:56Speaker 3: Well, there you go, because Christmas Eve is like the
- 0:58Speaker 3: Thursday of Christmas.
- 1:00Speaker 2: It is you know, everyone else used to get really
- 1:02Speaker 2: excited in my family.
- 1:04Speaker 4: Sure I'd be in a who of a mood. You
- 1:06Speaker 4: love killing.
- 1:08Speaker 2: Totally man, I'd ruin it for everyone docking.
- 1:11Speaker 4: If there was like a parade, you'd rain on.
- 1:13Speaker 2: It if I could, Keysy, if I could. But I
- 1:17Speaker 2: tell you what parade, I'm not going to rain on Geese.
- 1:21Speaker 2: You're looking good man and once again, and this is
- 1:24Speaker 2: what I love about your keys You obviously you take
- 1:28Speaker 2: some time and think about what you're going to wear
- 1:31Speaker 2: in any given day. Today once again a tremendous combination
- 1:36Speaker 2: between your hats and your T shirt. They're white on white,
- 1:39Speaker 2: looking good man, looking good.
- 1:42Speaker 5: Thanks, Jace. I do take some time. I think what
- 1:44Speaker 5: would not look stupid together? Yes and now yes?
- 1:49Speaker 4: Yeah?
- 1:50Speaker 2: Oh, what would not look stupid? Yeah? Right?
- 1:52Speaker 4: And then I put this outfit on. I was like,
- 1:54Speaker 4: you know what, that's prett damn good and.
- 1:55Speaker 3: The new development today and this is obviously not an accident.
- 1:58Speaker 3: As you've rolled up your sleeves to give us a
- 2:01Speaker 3: gun shot.
- 2:04Speaker 4: That is a total exo.
- 2:05Speaker 3: I love what you're doing in the gym, Keezy. You
- 2:07Speaker 3: are looking hot, brother, absolutely taking the purse by rolling
- 2:12Speaker 3: up your sleeves and just rubbing it in their faces.
- 2:14Speaker 4: I did not notice i'd done that.
- 2:17Speaker 2: Speak I'm going I'm going to tell you fellers speaking
- 2:22Speaker 2: of clothes, I said to my wife the other day, God,
- 2:24Speaker 2: I've got no shit. You know, all my shirts are
- 2:26Speaker 2: kind of dressy shirts. I just need casual shirts. And
- 2:30Speaker 2: so I arrived home yesterday and she bought me like
- 2:32Speaker 2: five new shirts. Oh, not new, she goes second hand
- 2:35Speaker 2: store shopping. And one of them was like, like an
- 2:39Speaker 2: orange pink cowboy.
- 2:40Speaker 4: Shit, can you please wear that tomorrow?
- 2:42Speaker 2: And I said, please, You're not serious. You cannot honestly
- 2:47Speaker 2: believe that I would wear it. Actually, I thought you
- 2:50Speaker 2: look quite good in that. I will wear it tomorrow. Yes,
- 2:53Speaker 2: so you can. But it looks a bit small. But
- 2:56Speaker 2: it was the most ludicrous shirt I've ever seen in
- 2:58Speaker 2: my life. But having said that, he did that once
- 3:00Speaker 2: for another cowboy shirt for me, and it turned out
- 3:02Speaker 2: to be my favorite shirt for about a year and
- 3:04Speaker 2: a half.
- 3:05Speaker 3: I spoke to her about that. She said it was weird.
- 3:07Speaker 3: She said, she's not buying you cowboys shirts. She's buying
- 3:10Speaker 3: you rodeo clown shirts.
- 3:12Speaker 2: Oh is that what they are?
- 3:15Speaker 3: Oh?
- 3:15Speaker 2: Yeah cool? Hey, I tell you what big showy here.
- 3:19Speaker 2: We've got David Nieker coming in again. Oh yeah, he's
- 3:22Speaker 2: got two more sleeps till his big fight. And I'll
- 3:24Speaker 2: be keen to see how he's getting on Mogi plenty
- 3:27Speaker 2: more on the show as well.
- 3:29Speaker 5: Actually, one thing we have to stress keep an ear
- 3:31Speaker 5: out for the Hodarchy twenty five k fiddler. If you
- 3:34Speaker 5: hear a song with some fiddle mixed into it, you
- 3:36Speaker 5: could win one thousand dollars if you call us an
- 3:38Speaker 5: eight hundred Hoducky it could play it anymore.
- 3:41Speaker 2: Yea, And I just got that feeling of my testes
- 3:43Speaker 2: as well.
- 3:44Speaker 4: Ah, there we go.
- 3:45Speaker 1: Great the Hedarchy Big Shows with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue.
- 3:51Speaker 2: And Keisy Allison. Jane's here on the Radio Darchy Big
- 3:54Speaker 2: Show this Thursday afternoon. The time was thirteen minutes past
- 3:57Speaker 2: four o'clock.
- 3:59Speaker 4: Giddo feels get a mogi. Hey, hey, goot a little
- 4:02Speaker 4: young about my daughter? Oh?
- 4:04Speaker 3: Is this a one and a half mogi? No, I
- 4:05Speaker 3: guess it is one and a half. Move My daughter's five.
- 4:19Speaker 3: And as they get older, they get a bit more useful.
- 4:22Speaker 3: Jas don't they sure you're able to ask them to
- 4:26Speaker 3: go and get things? And I mean they still make
- 4:28Speaker 3: more mess. You're still a net loss in terms of
- 4:31Speaker 3: the mess that's made. Always, So I've been asked them
- 4:33Speaker 3: to do things. It's pretty handy. I've been asking my
- 4:36Speaker 3: daughter for probably three years now, she's only five, to
- 4:39Speaker 3: pick up our dog's feces. Yes, she always insisted that
- 4:45Speaker 3: she have a plastic bag, but I tell you that
- 4:48Speaker 3: that's bad for mother nature. Oh do you use a
- 4:50Speaker 3: spade or something? No, not just her hand. And so
- 4:54Speaker 3: she's been reluctant to be fair. But today she came in,
- 4:58Speaker 3: came into my room and she said, Dad, when can
- 5:00Speaker 3: I when can I start picking up Tinker's poos?
- 5:03Speaker 4: Who Tinker? And I said, ah, what do you mean.
- 5:07Speaker 3: She goes, well, I've learned how to do it with
- 5:09Speaker 3: a bag. I said, oh, yeah, how do you do it?
- 5:11Speaker 3: She goes, well, you put your hand in there, and
- 5:13Speaker 3: then you grab the poo and you don't touch the pool,
- 5:15Speaker 3: and then you pull the bag over the top. I said,
- 5:17Speaker 3: that's that's actually exactly how you do it. But I'm
- 5:19Speaker 3: not sure that you're ready. Sure, you know, I want
- 5:22Speaker 3: to make sure that you're ready to be picking up
- 5:24Speaker 3: dog poos, you know, twice a day for the rest
- 5:27Speaker 3: of your life. I don't want to just give this
- 5:29Speaker 3: job to anybody. I mean, my wife loves doing it.
- 5:32Speaker 2: Bucking imagine and what it's a cherished role.
- 5:34Speaker 4: Isn't it not picking up poos?
- 5:36Speaker 3: Yeah, so you know, we sort of wait till there's
- 5:38Speaker 3: about seventy five seventy six out there, and then just
- 5:41Speaker 3: do it in one foul swoop, and then the next
- 5:43Speaker 3: week you pick up another seventy five.
- 5:45Speaker 4: Just with your hands. Yeah, okay, just with your hands.
- 5:47Speaker 3: Or her hands. I don't touch them. And anyway, I've
- 5:51Speaker 3: said to her, what, we'll put you on a month trial.
- 5:52Speaker 3: We'll give you thirty days, but if you stuff this
- 5:55Speaker 3: up at all, then your mum gets the job back
- 5:58Speaker 3: and that's the end of it. So yeah, we're sort
- 6:01Speaker 3: of we've hired her in that role, and I guess
- 6:05Speaker 3: the trick there is I've made her think that it
- 6:07Speaker 3: is a great role to have and something she should cherish.
- 6:10Speaker 3: Does she get paid well, she does, men. She gets
- 6:13Speaker 3: free room and board, free education, free healthcare. She's got
- 6:16Speaker 3: a pretty sweet gig. Actually she does very little around
- 6:21Speaker 3: the house. But there must have been some tricks that
- 6:23Speaker 3: you had, Jays. I mean, you've had four daughters in
- 6:25Speaker 3: your life. I'm very young, as there must be so
- 6:29Speaker 3: much more to learn, and the listeners out there will
- 6:31Speaker 3: be able to help us on three four eight three.
- 6:35Speaker 2: It's really interesting just from my perspective in terms of,
- 6:38Speaker 2: you know, your kids do as they grow old and
- 6:40Speaker 2: become more useful. And what I found was really good
- 6:44Speaker 2: is I basically turned them into my servants. Yes, so
- 6:48Speaker 2: you know they would I'd get them to make me toast,
- 6:51Speaker 2: for example, or coffee and stuff like that. And like
- 6:56Speaker 2: my daughter would makebe some toast and you bring it
- 6:57Speaker 2: over and it'll be disgusting, but I'd eat it and
- 7:00Speaker 2: go that is the best toast I've ever eating, right,
- 7:03Speaker 2: that is. And if you give them a bit of encouragement,
- 7:06Speaker 2: you know they'll keep doing that sort of stuff for you,
- 7:09Speaker 2: cleaning your clothes, making your bed, doing the vacuuming. That
- 7:14Speaker 2: is the cleanest floor I have ever seen.
- 7:17Speaker 5: Hang on, you guys, tell me that I'm really good
- 7:19Speaker 5: at delivering Edmund on the show. Yeah, that's not the
- 7:22Speaker 5: same thing, is it. You're not just saying that you are?
- 7:26Speaker 2: You are any really did it?
- 7:27Speaker 4: Yeah? No one could denoy that.
- 7:29Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 7:29Speaker 4: Yeah, keep an ear out for the twenty five k
- 7:31Speaker 4: Fiddler by the way.
- 7:32Speaker 2: Yes, And as long as you give them that encouragement
- 7:35Speaker 2: and you set it up like you have set it up,
- 7:37Speaker 2: which is, this is a big responsibility and I'm taking
- 7:40Speaker 2: a bit of a risk getting it to you, you know,
- 7:43Speaker 2: I mean they'll fly into it, no question.
- 7:45Speaker 4: Yeah, I mean.
- 7:46Speaker 5: The only one I remember that was my dad used
- 7:48Speaker 5: to always put me in charge of going and getting
- 7:49Speaker 5: beers from the fridge.
- 7:51Speaker 3: Right, that's another good one. And what he said, you're
- 7:53Speaker 3: in charge of that.
- 7:53Speaker 5: Yeah, he said, go get me a beer because there
- 7:56Speaker 5: was something about opening the beer right with the bottle opener.
- 7:59Speaker 4: Yeah, quite a big deal. Yeah, and that used to
- 8:02Speaker 4: be my job. You're in charge of that, and yeah,
- 8:03Speaker 4: that's pretty good.
- 8:04Speaker 3: Yes, I don't mind opening a beer, though I would
- 8:07Speaker 3: have given you something else to do, all right.
- 8:09Speaker 2: It's good that they go and fetch it for you.
- 8:11Speaker 4: Yes, yeah, that was the fit Chune's good.
- 8:13Speaker 2: The whole content behind the coffees and the and the
- 8:16Speaker 2: toast and stuff is I didn't have to get out
- 8:18Speaker 2: of bed. Actually, can you get me a coffee, some
- 8:20Speaker 2: toast and a beer please?
- 8:22Speaker 4: At your house too.
- 8:23Speaker 5: Your daughter wouldn't have had to worry about picking up
- 8:24Speaker 5: dog poops because they're just all on your beard, don't they.
- 8:26Speaker 2: That's true generally speaking.
- 8:28Speaker 4: The main problem was all the duck shit.
- 8:32Speaker 3: Yeah, is that still in your lounge by the way, Yeah,
- 8:35Speaker 3: I just left it there.
- 8:39Speaker 5: Let us know what you think on three four eight three.
- 8:41Speaker 5: If you give your job, your kids, any jobs. Yeah,
- 8:43Speaker 5: and by texting three you can win yourself fifty on
- 8:45Speaker 5: a night and day.
- 8:45Speaker 4: About you beautiful.
- 8:47Speaker 2: It's fat Boys and them the.
- 8:48Speaker 1: Urdarchy Big Show with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue and.
- 8:52Speaker 2: Kisy definiteip it there on the radio Hodarky Big Show
- 8:56Speaker 2: this Thursday afternoon, twenty five minutes past four o'clock.
- 9:00Speaker 5: Fellas, are you scared of dogs? Like big dogs? Now
- 9:04Speaker 5: you're not, Mike, You're not.
- 9:07Speaker 4: I have been.
- 9:08Speaker 3: Yeah, so they can be terrified. I've been faced down
- 9:10Speaker 3: by a rock wheeler once. It was a good time.
- 9:12Speaker 4: Oh god. Yeah.
- 9:13Speaker 5: So I've had a fierce share of like not runnings,
- 9:16Speaker 5: but scary dogs barking at you. But they're behind a fence.
- 9:19Speaker 4: Or they.
- 9:20Speaker 2: As I've previously stated, when I went for Greenpeace, going
- 9:23Speaker 2: door to door and quite a few confrontations with dogs
- 9:26Speaker 2: walking into people's properties. Yeah, not a good time.
- 9:29Speaker 4: It's scary.
- 9:30Speaker 5: So today I went for a rune little three and
- 9:35Speaker 5: a half k around the block there and it's usually
- 9:39Speaker 5: a three k run, but I uped at three and
- 9:41Speaker 5: a half by going to this park and doing a
- 9:44Speaker 5: lap of the park and then coming out and continuing
- 9:46Speaker 5: on the route. When I was at the park running
- 9:49Speaker 5: great route, really good route. I'd love to take you
- 9:52Speaker 5: guys on it. Sometime while I was at the park,
- 9:55Speaker 5: there was a guy and like a big jacket thing
- 9:58Speaker 5: and trench coat ext just go through like a jacket, yeah, Mike.
- 10:03Speaker 5: And he was walking and I could tell he had
- 10:05Speaker 5: like a pit with him. And then as I got close.
- 10:07Speaker 3: To a bird, because that's freaky when that edmoned. Now
- 10:10Speaker 3: you see someone out in the world with a bird
- 10:11Speaker 3: on his shoulder. Once saw a dude with a little
- 10:13Speaker 3: magpie and a leash. That freaked me out.
- 10:16Speaker 4: Buddy, birds, it wasn't a bird, right, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 10:19Speaker 5: So as I was getting close, probably like maybe thirty
- 10:22Speaker 5: meters away for him, this guy turns around. He's got
- 10:25Speaker 5: a huge staffy. Right, Honestly, I've never seen a staffy
- 10:29Speaker 5: this big. And I'm like, oh, wow, that's a terrifying
- 10:33Speaker 5: looking you know, staffy.
- 10:35Speaker 3: Sure, And then as I get close, I reckon, you
- 10:37Speaker 3: could have taken it. You are the staffy. Yeah, it
- 10:42Speaker 3: was a massive Staffy, but you reckon you could have
- 10:44Speaker 3: handled it?
- 10:44Speaker 4: No, I don't know if I could have.
- 10:46Speaker 5: It was the probably the biggest Staffy i've like, genior.
- 10:48Speaker 5: I thought Staffie's were a certain size, you know what
- 10:50Speaker 5: I mean? Yes, and then you see this one and
- 10:52Speaker 5: it's holy helmet.
- 10:54Speaker 2: I've seen I've seen a lot of Staffi's. Yeah, and
- 10:59Speaker 2: you know they very in size. To be honest with
- 11:01Speaker 2: your keysy, they're not.
- 11:02Speaker 3: Not.
- 11:02Speaker 2: All Staffy's are big.
- 11:04Speaker 5: Well, that's and that was the thing was I thought
- 11:07Speaker 5: I had an idea of what what size as staffy
- 11:10Speaker 5: genuinely generally is sure? Sure, and then this guy turns around.
- 11:14Speaker 4: He's just got the biggest Staffy you've ever seen, right,
- 11:17Speaker 4: and it's and then I realized it's not even on
- 11:19Speaker 4: a leash. What's just huh?
- 11:20Speaker 2: What color was it? Ah?
- 11:23Speaker 4: It had it was kind of like a light brown.
- 11:26Speaker 3: Oh yeah, and it usually when they're that, when they're
- 11:30Speaker 3: that big, they're usually black.
- 11:33Speaker 4: No, I've not known.
- 11:40Speaker 1: The whole Achy Big Shows with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue
- 11:44Speaker 1: and Keezy what's all civil about?
- 11:46Speaker 2: Why you were.
- 11:49Speaker 4: So true?
- 11:50Speaker 2: Man? Guns Roses there on the radio Hodanche Big Show
- 11:56Speaker 2: this Tuesday afternoon. The time is four fifty two. Hey
- 11:59Speaker 2: guess everyone, Would you rather? Is back? This is breaking news.
- 12:09Speaker 5: It is back. The first time we did would you rather?
- 12:11Speaker 5: You had to choose whether you wanted to go and
- 12:13Speaker 5: spend a dream weekend at Bathurst flights accommodation, four nights
- 12:17Speaker 5: on the mountain watching the old Supercars or the NRL
- 12:21Speaker 5: Grand Final. Yes, that was obviously excellent. We've got another.
- 12:24Speaker 5: Would you rather? This one at a left field? It's
- 12:28Speaker 5: not a major sporting event. It is a major sporting
- 12:31Speaker 5: experience for.
- 12:32Speaker 4: You, sure right.
- 12:33Speaker 5: Thanks to Halle trans Helicopters, we're giving away an experience
- 12:37Speaker 5: for you and three of your mates. Yeah mate, that's right, Yeah,
- 12:42Speaker 5: that's four Jason. Would you rather go Halle Fishing?
- 12:47Speaker 4: Would I rather?
- 12:49Speaker 5: Would you rather go Halle Fishing at Great Barrier Island
- 12:53Speaker 5: or Halle Golf at Moody Why Golf Links.
- 12:57Speaker 4: So you can either fly to.
- 12:59Speaker 5: One of the best spots for catching snapper ca Hawaiian
- 13:01Speaker 5: kingfish and the Hodacky golf straight off the rocks on
- 13:03Speaker 5: the Great Barrier Island. All the gear, top quality reels, rods,
- 13:07Speaker 5: tackle bait and bags bring the big one home for
- 13:09Speaker 5: dins or play the game of golf as nature intended,
- 13:13Speaker 5: choppering and smash eighteen holes on Awkwland's west coast, Muddy
- 13:17Speaker 5: White Golf Links, helicopter flights, green fees, golf carts, three
- 13:20Speaker 5: round of beers and burgers as well.
- 13:23Speaker 2: That's a tough feet.
- 13:24Speaker 4: That's a tricky one.
- 13:25Speaker 2: They're my two little I mean, I haven't got back
- 13:27Speaker 2: to the golf yet, but I bought my class.
- 13:29Speaker 4: For twenty years.
- 13:30Speaker 2: I bought my clubs. I love my fishing. Oh that's
- 13:34Speaker 2: a tough one.
- 13:35Speaker 3: How about you, Kezy, what are you going for men?
- 13:37Speaker 3: No brainer for you, Isn't.
- 13:38Speaker 4: It no brainer for me? Mike?
- 13:40Speaker 5: Helicopters helicopters now apparently, so I'll probably get my mates
- 13:46Speaker 5: to helicopter the air and then I'll meet them at
- 13:48Speaker 5: the Moody White Golf Links. Because I don't like seafood,
- 13:51Speaker 5: I think I would agree with you. Yeah, even though
- 13:54Speaker 5: I am terrible at golf and I haven't played for
- 13:57Speaker 5: a long time, that's sounds good to me.
- 14:00Speaker 3: Golf, the golf carts, the beers, the burgers good stuff.
- 14:05Speaker 3: I'm not a fan of fishing.
- 14:07Speaker 2: I think I made my decision. I'll go fishing, thanks Keezy. Okay,
- 14:12Speaker 2: well if you win. Yeah, if I won't invite me,
- 14:17Speaker 2: I will pack son, he'll come with me. He'll come fishing.
- 14:21Speaker 2: Loves a sushi.
- 14:22Speaker 4: You need to find she'd like to be good at fishing, though,
- 14:25Speaker 4: maybe I will come.
- 14:26Speaker 2: At least golf Nothing like a big fish on the
- 14:29Speaker 2: end of your rod deck mogi.
- 14:31Speaker 5: At least with golf you can control it, you know,
- 14:33Speaker 5: like you get to play golf, but you don't know
- 14:35Speaker 5: if you're going to catch a fish.
- 14:36Speaker 2: But that's a beauty of fishing keysy is it? And
- 14:40Speaker 2: the great barrier and killing fish the great barrier, beautiful,
- 14:45Speaker 2: beautiful spot. So you and.
- 14:50Speaker 4: Carrier.
- 14:50Speaker 2: Yes, you get to take home, you know, potentially some fish,
- 14:55Speaker 2: some snaper, maybe a KINGI who knows for maybe nothing,
- 15:02Speaker 2: maybe nothing you can give it a take or maybe nothing.
- 15:04Speaker 4: That's right. So this is going to be starting Monday,
- 15:07Speaker 4: all right.
- 15:07Speaker 5: You just listen for the sound of the chopper and
- 15:09Speaker 5: then you call O eight hundred Hodarchy yourself in the draw.
- 15:12Speaker 5: That's one hell of a giveaway the golf course one
- 15:14Speaker 5: that is just right up my alley. Yeah, obviously I'm
- 15:16Speaker 5: scared of helicopters though, so I'll just meet them there.
- 15:19Speaker 2: Yeah, speaking of golf next week A keazy yeah, we'll
- 15:21Speaker 2: play next week mate, we'll have my first round. See
- 15:25Speaker 2: how we go?
- 15:25Speaker 4: Mate, Pugson mog you might even come and we'll film
- 15:28Speaker 4: the whole thing.

- 18:45Speaker 4: Oh, he's going to.
- 18:46Speaker 3: Walk into his he's going to walk into his boss's office.
- 18:48Speaker 3: He's going to look up Ded in the iron. He's
- 18:49Speaker 3: going to tell him to stick it with the sun,
- 18:51Speaker 3: don't shine because he's rich now, Jason, Yeah, and even
- 18:54Speaker 3: though he's probably got a passion for being a groundsman.
- 18:56Speaker 3: And I'm assuming what kind of grounds we talk about?
- 18:59Speaker 3: Grandet cricket rounds school ground, school ground better?
- 19:03Speaker 2: Yeah, even better?
- 19:04Speaker 3: I mean yeah, Actually, what I'd do, man, is I'd
- 19:06Speaker 3: walk into school assembly. I'd get up on the stage,
- 19:09Speaker 3: I look all those kids in the eyes, and I'd
- 19:11Speaker 3: tell him to stick it with a Sunday shine.
- 19:18Speaker 2: Yeah, good stuff. How you enjoy that? A thousand dollars?
- 19:22Speaker 2: And I'll chuck you over to hugs an in studio.
- 19:27Speaker 5: I seem like a lovely chat like a backbone, if
- 19:31Speaker 5: you don't mind.
- 19:31Speaker 2: I used to daydream about what happened to see you're
- 19:37Speaker 2: pulling a face making now you're looking over my sho.
- 19:40Speaker 2: I used to day job, you know. I used to
- 19:42Speaker 2: think of like what would be my ideal job. This
- 19:44Speaker 2: is when I was in my sort of mid to
- 19:46Speaker 2: late teens. Yeah, postman, because I was going through a
- 19:50Speaker 2: James K. Baxter phase and he was a postman for
- 19:54Speaker 2: a long time ago. He's a poet. And then I
- 19:58Speaker 2: thought something like a groundsman would be quite good. Just
- 20:00Speaker 2: tooting along and your little buggies there and.
- 20:03Speaker 4: Your tracky tuning along in a buggy. Yeah, joined a
- 20:06Speaker 4: bit of what is it buggy?
- 20:07Speaker 2: It was tooting along like four wheel drive, yeah, yeah,
- 20:13Speaker 2: track or a little track, just flexing stuff. Got your
- 20:16Speaker 2: incinerator there, got your tool about on and.
- 20:19Speaker 4: Yeah, get in trouble. The principal for swearing in front
- 20:25Speaker 4: of the kids.
- 20:26Speaker 2: Yeah, haven't going to your ship? Having a quiet at
- 20:28Speaker 2: the end of a hard day's yeah.
- 20:30Speaker 4: Or sort of around about breakfast, Yeah.
- 20:33Speaker 2: Starting the day off for quiet.
- 20:35Speaker 4: Responsibly of course.
- 20:36Speaker 5: Yes, surely tomorrow being the last day of the Fiddler,
- 20:40Speaker 5: surely it had strike tomorrow, right.
- 20:42Speaker 2: Surely when what do you mean?
- 20:44Speaker 4: What do you mean tomorrow?
- 20:46Speaker 5: Yeah, I'm just saying, surely the Fiddler will happen tomorrow.
- 20:49Speaker 4: But it's the last to have the Fiddler happens every day,
- 20:51Speaker 4: isn't it.
- 20:52Speaker 2: No?
- 20:52Speaker 4: Is that what happens.
- 20:53Speaker 2: Yes, yeah, what have you not heard about this?
- 20:55Speaker 4: Keezy? Is it every day?
- 20:57Speaker 3: Hey, Jason, maybe you should take over the captain Edmund
- 20:59Speaker 3: roll look?
- 21:00Speaker 2: Yeah thanks?
- 21:00Speaker 4: Oh yes, he's slipping here.
- 21:02Speaker 5: Yeah I'm saying is surely there'll be a fiddler on
- 21:05Speaker 5: tomorrow's show and you should listen.
- 21:07Speaker 2: Right well, obviously there will be.
- 21:09Speaker 5: Something, obviously, I'm just I'm saying, yeah, people should tune in.
- 21:14Speaker 3: Okay, I don't know why you're talking weird. People are
- 21:17Speaker 3: going to tune anyway.
- 21:18Speaker 4: They love it.
- 21:19Speaker 2: That's just taking a random twist, isn't it this conversation talk.
- 21:23Speaker 4: About you tooting on your buggy again?
- 21:24Speaker 2: Jas He's a black seven the Hodarking Bing Show podcast blank.
- 21:30Speaker 2: He's there on the Radio hod Arky Big Show this
- 21:33Speaker 2: Thursday afternoon. The time is twenty four minutes past five.
- 21:35Speaker 2: What's the song called, Jose, I'm a Lonely Boy?
- 21:39Speaker 5: Oh yeah, just because you were yelling out singing really loudly,
- 21:42Speaker 5: I'm a lovely boy.
- 21:44Speaker 2: Which is just you are. Thank you.
- 21:46Speaker 3: It's just quite weird. It's pretty hot, I thought, thanks man.
- 21:52Speaker 3: Oh now I've got to tell you about this one fellas.
- 21:54Speaker 3: I wasn't going to tell you. I wasn't going to
- 21:58Speaker 3: tell you, but I will. I've started having actually really
- 22:01Speaker 3: good sleeps. Great, I've got a question for you, Joses
- 22:04Speaker 3: as a sleep chat I don't know yet.
- 22:06Speaker 2: It's sleep chat.
- 22:12Speaker 4: With Jason that's hot.
- 22:18Speaker 3: So I've started having really good sleeps and I don't
- 22:20Speaker 3: know what. Nothing's changed. I'll tell you what I know.
- 22:21Speaker 3: I tell her what has changed as I've stopped taking
- 22:24Speaker 3: those mushroom pills that my wife brought for me to
- 22:28Speaker 3: make my sleep better. And she's fuming about that that
- 22:32Speaker 3: my sleep's got on better now that I've stopped the
- 22:34Speaker 3: mushy pil She wants those to be the cure, but
- 22:36Speaker 3: they're not. So anyway, I'm sleeping, I am sleeping really well.
- 22:39Speaker 3: If I wake up, I go back to sleep really easy.
- 22:41Speaker 3: I don't really need to go to the toilet what
- 22:42Speaker 3: I'm faced with, because nothing ever stays good forever, does it,
- 22:46Speaker 3: or even a week. The birds at our place now,
- 22:50Speaker 3: and when I say our place, I mean and the
- 22:51Speaker 3: trees outside.
- 22:52Speaker 4: We make them sleep outside.
- 22:54Speaker 2: Fair enough and fair enough.
- 22:57Speaker 3: Otherwise they now wake up up at four am and
- 23:02Speaker 3: start chittering and chattering. There's one there that's got a
- 23:06Speaker 3: real out of it, yarn on them, and it's an
- 23:10Speaker 3: annoying year And I know it's annoying for everyone because
- 23:13Speaker 3: he's the only one doing it.
- 23:15Speaker 4: I can't I.
- 23:15Speaker 3: Can't even really good impression like that, right, But nobody
- 23:22Speaker 3: replies to him. Everyone's like igrever, I.
- 23:27Speaker 5: Don't say it's all kezy, the weird bird with the
- 23:29Speaker 5: weird nasal sort of crowd.
- 23:32Speaker 4: I thought they had beaks. I don't know they had noses.
- 23:38Speaker 3: Anyway, makes a racket man, and I can't get back
- 23:41Speaker 3: to sleep, so.
- 23:44Speaker 4: I don't know what to do.
- 23:45Speaker 3: The one thing that I'm grateful for is that Daylight
- 23:48Speaker 3: Savings is coming up. Yes, so soon it'll be waking
- 23:51Speaker 3: They'll be waking me up at five o'clock. But I
- 23:54Speaker 3: do sort of feel like they're taking the piss.
- 23:56Speaker 4: Yes.
- 23:57Speaker 2: Interesting. Actually, we were walking back to the car parklast night,
- 24:00Speaker 2: weren't we keezy, and the birds and the trees had
- 24:02Speaker 2: just gone absolutely mental.
- 24:07Speaker 4: No, I certainly wasn't doing my trim of a bird.
- 24:09Speaker 2: Call, and four o'clock is pretty extreme. It is enough
- 24:13Speaker 2: I had. I woke up at four this morning, not
- 24:16Speaker 2: because of the birds, though, I had a really weird
- 24:19Speaker 2: dream with you and me and Kezy and a threesome.
- 24:22Speaker 4: Oh yeah, oh a threesome?
- 24:24Speaker 2: Did you say yeah?
- 24:26Speaker 4: No, I think the other one's.
- 24:29Speaker 2: Yeah. It was pretty It was pretty freaky sort of.
- 24:34Speaker 2: I don't want to focus on it too much. Just
- 24:38Speaker 2: just say old Kezy was keen?
- 24:43Speaker 4: Was here you start that?
- 24:49Speaker 5: We turned Maggie's bird chair into a threesome chair, and.
- 24:51Speaker 4: Then old Key was really keen.
- 24:57Speaker 2: The young buck come on kill film.
- 25:02Speaker 4: That's how I think we could leave it there. David
- 25:10Speaker 4: Yick is the next.
- 25:11Speaker 1: The whole Archy Big Show was Jason, Mike and Kyzy
- 25:15Speaker 1: tune in on radio.
- 25:18Speaker 2: Oh indeed the food fighters there on the radio. Hoedarchy
- 25:21Speaker 2: Big Show this Thursday afternoon, and we've got our special
- 25:24Speaker 2: guest back in the studio with us, the one and
- 25:26Speaker 2: only David Nica. How you're going, Champ good Man?
- 25:29Speaker 6: I felt like part of the furniture. Yeah, I feel
- 25:31Speaker 6: like I need a job, totally not getting paid for this.
- 25:34Speaker 4: Right, Yeah, I reckon we all should.
- 25:37Speaker 2: David actually turned up a bit early today and we
- 25:39Speaker 2: were having a chat. You're you're having a WII I
- 25:42Speaker 2: think Mogi. He lift it up as his shirt there
- 25:46Speaker 2: to show where he'd been punched by another radio host
- 25:49Speaker 2: talk about abs mates. I mean, Mogi over here, David,
- 25:53Speaker 2: he is he is the big show, Hi, Candy, But
- 25:56Speaker 2: he's got nothing on you. Man, You're in great shape.
- 25:58Speaker 2: How are you feeling? Got a mustache too, he's at
- 26:02Speaker 2: his wife hates it?
- 26:04Speaker 4: She does, she loaths it. What do I do about that? David?
- 26:07Speaker 4: Any marriage advice?
- 26:08Speaker 2: Brother? Going going?
- 26:11Speaker 4: Exactly right. She's really putting the pressure on me now though,
- 26:14Speaker 4: and we should talk about this. She is.
- 26:16Speaker 3: She's like now every time she kisses me, which is
- 26:19Speaker 3: so much. We've been together ten years. She's always kissing me, David.
- 26:23Speaker 3: She sort of makes a thing like, look, I'd love to,
- 26:26Speaker 3: but you've got a mustache. I know what will happen
- 26:29Speaker 3: is I'll shave it and then she won't be interested anyway,
- 26:31Speaker 3: you know what.
- 26:31Speaker 6: I mean, don't even recognize you anymore.
- 26:34Speaker 2: Exactly Hey, David, two sleeps away. How are you feeling, man,
- 26:40Speaker 2: because you're looking in great shape. How are you feeling?
- 26:42Speaker 2: I'm feeling good. I'm feeling good.
- 26:43Speaker 6: It's been a busy, busy last seven days doing the
- 26:47Speaker 6: media rounds. Yeah, this is my third or fourth time
- 26:50Speaker 6: on the show since I've been here.
- 26:51Speaker 2: Sure, but I'm good.
- 26:53Speaker 6: I've been managing my energy levels. I've been sleeping really well.
- 26:57Speaker 6: My girlfriend's just come over yesterday, so it's good to
- 26:59Speaker 6: catch up.
- 27:00Speaker 2: Thing, David, is it distracted?
- 27:03Speaker 4: Not distract don't think.
- 27:06Speaker 6: No, no, no, no, it's no. It's like I found
- 27:08Speaker 6: I found perfect peace. I had my perfect little ecosystem
- 27:11Speaker 6: in my hotel room and now we've got two suitcases,
- 27:17Speaker 6: two exploding suitcases.
- 27:19Speaker 2: Can I ask on that? On personal level? How does
- 27:22Speaker 2: your girlfriend feel about you being a fighter? Don't want
- 27:26Speaker 2: to What are you getting punched in the face when
- 27:28Speaker 2: you're getting hurt?
- 27:29Speaker 6: She's grown up around us.
- 27:31Speaker 2: Okay, her dad is my coach. Go, yeah, yeah, that's convenient. Yes, yeah,
- 27:36Speaker 2: so sore.
- 27:36Speaker 6: They're a big fighting family based out of Queensland. Her
- 27:41Speaker 6: grandfather was known as the Iceman.
- 27:43Speaker 2: One of the hardest years.
- 27:45Speaker 5: I decked him once, Dave, quick question, Man, how does
- 27:54Speaker 5: it feel because when I first started the media, it
- 27:58Speaker 5: was Joseph Parker coming through the ranks, doing all the
- 28:00Speaker 5: media conferences, wheel and out, talking to all the radio
- 28:03Speaker 5: hosts and stuff. You've been doing sort of the you know,
- 28:06Speaker 5: Olympics and Commonwealth Games. Now you're big time boxing. How
- 28:10Speaker 5: what's what's the change been, like you know what I
- 28:12Speaker 5: mean now that it's like showtime stuff.
- 28:14Speaker 6: Yeah, I know you mean, it's I'm just getting more
- 28:16Speaker 6: familiar with you guys.
- 28:18Speaker 2: That's easier. I feel like we can just we can
- 28:19Speaker 2: just chat.
- 28:20Speaker 3: That must be a difficult thing though, because you're in
- 28:23Speaker 3: it to fight. You want to concentrate on that. But
- 28:25Speaker 3: the nature of the Beast is that you have to sell.
- 28:27Speaker 2: You have to sell, and you sort.
- 28:30Speaker 3: Of you've got an opportunity and had an opportunity to
- 28:32Speaker 3: sort of see it from the beast with Tyson Fury,
- 28:35Speaker 3: who I think has really changed the face of boxing.
- 28:37Speaker 3: Before him, people were over heavyweight boxing and when he
- 28:41Speaker 3: came back, now the spotlight has really gone back on boxing.
- 28:44Speaker 3: Has it been your experience of him because you've been
- 28:46Speaker 3: in training camps and all sorts of stuff with him.
- 28:48Speaker 6: Yeah, it's I think, I think where he thrives as
- 28:53Speaker 6: he's authentic, Like I've never felt like such a fraud
- 28:56Speaker 6: when I was having just like a sit down in
- 28:58Speaker 6: a chat with him in his living room, like he
- 29:00Speaker 6: just made me feel like I had to second guess
- 29:02Speaker 6: everything I said because I felt like I felt under pressure.
- 29:05Speaker 6: You know, he's the most authentic, dude, deliver me. Everything
- 29:08Speaker 6: he says is off the cuff, and what you see
- 29:11Speaker 6: on social media, what you see like live on TV
- 29:15Speaker 6: is exactly who he is, you know. Yeah, he's yeah,
- 29:18Speaker 6: very very genuine.
- 29:19Speaker 5: Well, that's like our show is quite authentic, isn't it, Fellas.
- 29:21Speaker 5: That's like a big sort of pillar of our show
- 29:24Speaker 5: is being very authentic totes man. But you gone from
- 29:28Speaker 5: the real, pure version of the sport, right, so now
- 29:30Speaker 5: it is that more commercialized style. Which one do you
- 29:33Speaker 5: enjoy more? Do you enjoy just focusing on the fighting
- 29:35Speaker 5: or do you like being part of the show.
- 29:37Speaker 6: I think I think I'm starting to enjoy the show,
- 29:39Speaker 6: but more obviously, like I said, be more familiar with
- 29:42Speaker 6: people in the media is really important. But also being
- 29:45Speaker 6: able to channel your own energy and tell your own story.
- 29:49Speaker 6: I feel that you get better at that with more
- 29:51Speaker 6: experience and you're.
- 29:52Speaker 2: An actual mate. Don't worry about it, because I found
- 29:55Speaker 2: something interesting you were saying out in the office here.
- 29:57Speaker 2: This is kind of the first time you've been in
- 30:00Speaker 2: the main fight, you know what I mean? That you
- 30:03Speaker 2: everyone's come to see you a bit more pressure in that.
- 30:07Speaker 6: Yeah, yeah, I get like a little butterfly when when
- 30:09Speaker 6: you say say something like that, because I'm like, oh, yeah,
- 30:12Speaker 6: that is a big deal. But I kind of put
- 30:13Speaker 6: my blinkers on when I have to. I've made the
- 30:16Speaker 6: mistake in the past of believing my own hype.
- 30:19Speaker 2: Don't do that.
- 30:20Speaker 4: Don't do that.
- 30:20Speaker 6: Yeah, don't don't listen. Don't rely on anyone else to
- 30:23Speaker 6: tell you how good you are. Because the reason I'm
- 30:26Speaker 6: as good as I am, and I'll prove that to
- 30:29Speaker 6: you guys, is because I work really, really hard in
- 30:30Speaker 6: the gym, that's right. And I've got a good team
- 30:32Speaker 6: around me. I've got the likes of Manuka Doctor powering me.
- 30:35Speaker 2: Now, I've got We've got, We've got.
- 30:37Speaker 6: We've got to zone our global broadcaster.
- 30:39Speaker 4: Yeah, we've got.
- 30:40Speaker 6: Everything we need to take this to the next level.
- 30:43Speaker 5: And is there just one last one before we go
- 30:45Speaker 5: to a sosng jase? Is there is there a difference
- 30:48Speaker 5: in being the main card At the end of the day,
- 30:49Speaker 5: You're still just coming out and having a fight. It
- 30:51Speaker 5: could be the first fight or the last fight. Do
- 30:52Speaker 5: you even care exactly?
- 30:54Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 30:54Speaker 6: Yeah, well I shouldn't care, should I say? Whoever's in
- 30:56Speaker 6: front of me, I'm gonna have to deal to so
- 30:58Speaker 6: smack mister Tommy Tommy carp and see he's coming in tonight.
- 31:02Speaker 6: We've got to do a like gloves off, face off
- 31:04Speaker 6: thing tonight, which is going to be super awkward. He's
- 31:06Speaker 6: going to be like, but no, Yeah, at the end
- 31:11Speaker 6: of the day, I've got a deckham and I've got
- 31:13Speaker 6: a look good doing it. So yeah, I'm looking forward
- 31:16Speaker 6: to seeing you guys in the crowd come Saturday night.
- 31:18Speaker 2: We'll let's get back to it.
- 31:19Speaker 4: We'll go to tune the Huriching Bing Show podcast.
- 31:23Speaker 2: Yes, punk there on the radio Hodarchy Big Show this
- 31:25Speaker 2: Thursday afternoon. We've got boxer David Nieka in the studio
- 31:29Speaker 2: with us. We actually previously mentioned Joseph Parker. I don't
- 31:34Speaker 2: know how much you have to do with him, a
- 31:36Speaker 2: fair amount. I imagine his story has been quite an
- 31:39Speaker 2: interesting one, isn't it, Because it's been quite inspirational. I'll
- 31:43Speaker 2: be honest with you. I thought for a while there
- 31:45Speaker 2: he was kind of done and dusted, but he's come
- 31:47Speaker 2: back stronger than ever and he's looking good. Yeah.
- 31:50Speaker 6: I think he's found a real resurgence in his boxing,
- 31:53Speaker 6: and I think a lot of it comes down to
- 31:54Speaker 6: his strength and conditioners slash nutritionist George Lockhart.
- 31:58Speaker 4: Yes, he's can completely.
- 32:00Speaker 6: Changed the way Joe trains, eats, sleeps, everything. So it's
- 32:06Speaker 6: really really cool to see him thriving again for me
- 32:08Speaker 6: to be able to piggyback on the back of his momentum.
- 32:10Speaker 3: I was absolutely shocked by him having an interview recently
- 32:13Speaker 3: where he was saying that he was in his prime
- 32:16Speaker 3: as a box so this is this century and he
- 32:19Speaker 3: had no idea that nutrition was important. He was eating
- 32:22Speaker 3: McDonald's and KFC and doing nothing with nutrition. How bad
- 32:27Speaker 3: were the people around him that he didn't have that information.
- 32:30Speaker 3: That is such a waste of talent because it's it's
- 32:32Speaker 3: such a huge part of it.
- 32:36Speaker 6: For me, that's actually been a little bit of a
- 32:38Speaker 6: crux at times because I have really good genetics. You know,
- 32:42Speaker 6: my my dad was like pretty heavy on the drink
- 32:46Speaker 6: for a long time and actually looked great, looked great,
- 32:50Speaker 6: and you know, he started having like adverse like health
- 32:53Speaker 6: problems and when he got healthy. You should see him today, man,
- 32:56Speaker 6: you should honestly see a beast. Oh, he's an absolute monster.
- 33:00Speaker 6: He had his third and last fight after I started boxing,
- 33:03Speaker 6: but he had a corporate fight at twenty twenty might
- 33:08Speaker 6: have been twenty twenty, but was an absolute months. He
- 33:11Speaker 6: for guy younger than me, he's fifty, he's fifty four
- 33:13Speaker 6: years old today, but an absolute rig.
- 33:15Speaker 4: Yeah, just on nutrition.
- 33:18Speaker 5: Mike recently realized that after a month and a half
- 33:21Speaker 5: of doing a training plan, he hadn't eaten a single
- 33:23Speaker 5: vegetable and he actually had scurvy.
- 33:25Speaker 4: You're kidding, do you kidding? He is kidding.
- 33:29Speaker 3: The concern was that I had scurvy, but I was
- 33:31Speaker 3: all I was doing because I was bulking. I was
- 33:33Speaker 3: like just looking at the calories. So I was going
- 33:34Speaker 3: three thousand calories and I was like, what's the best
- 33:36Speaker 3: way to get there? And I was I was like, man,
- 33:39Speaker 3: I should be feeling good. I was like six eight weeks.
- 33:41Speaker 3: Then I was like, I'm baggered. And I had a
- 33:44Speaker 3: look at my wife said, you haven't eaten any vegetables
- 33:47Speaker 3: for over a month, as that year that could be it,
- 33:49Speaker 3: and I feel brand new now it's vegetables back, and yeah, yeah,
- 33:52Speaker 3: you eat lots.
- 33:53Speaker 2: I do.
- 33:54Speaker 6: I do, But like, it's funny funny say that because
- 33:57Speaker 6: I could eat whatever I want and still look great.
- 33:59Speaker 4: But you just feel terrible.
- 34:00Speaker 6: You feel terrible and like, yep, my my diet has
- 34:04Speaker 6: changed a lot of the I go a little bit
- 34:06Speaker 6: more high fat, high protein, lots of veggies, a lot
- 34:11Speaker 6: of a lot of manuca honey as well.
- 34:13Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 34:13Speaker 3: Yeah, Actually on Saturday night, you've got a good card man,
- 34:18Speaker 3: she's a ripper.
- 34:19Speaker 4: Jason and I are going to be there. We're going
- 34:21Speaker 4: to be on a table.
- 34:21Speaker 3: We're a little bit concerned that you're not scheduled to
- 34:24Speaker 3: come out unto eleven o'clock because that's an hour and
- 34:26Speaker 3: a half past both of our bedtime.
- 34:28Speaker 2: At the earliest, he said, the earliest.
- 34:31Speaker 4: Is that right at the earliest?
- 34:33Speaker 2: Yes, correct, correct, it's a late man. We'll be massively steamed.
- 34:37Speaker 4: Yeah, probably responsibly.
- 34:39Speaker 2: Yeah, as long as you guys can remember what happened.
- 34:42Speaker 3: Yeah, Well, what pushes out the time because it's not
- 34:44Speaker 3: broadcast in the traditional sense, like it's not on Sky,
- 34:47Speaker 3: so they don't have to make times. Is it just
- 34:50Speaker 3: one of those things where because U is really good,
- 34:52Speaker 3: like somebody gets knocked out and they just bring out
- 34:54Speaker 3: the next bloke, as it still have those same gaps
- 34:57Speaker 3: in between fights, regardless of how many rounds the last
- 34:59Speaker 3: one's got.
- 35:00Speaker 6: I think there's a pretty it's a pretty big card.
- 35:02Speaker 6: Like you said that, there's there's four heavyweight.
- 35:04Speaker 2: Belts we've got.
- 35:05Speaker 6: I think there's nine belts on the card. They're all
- 35:08Speaker 6: going to be super entertaining.
- 35:11Speaker 2: I can't really tell.
- 35:13Speaker 6: I guess it's a Saturday night. People are meant to
- 35:15Speaker 6: be staying out after their bedtime. Sure, you guys would
- 35:18Speaker 6: be having a few a few beverages, so I know
- 35:21Speaker 6: my friends will be absolutely esteemed by the time.
- 35:24Speaker 5: You guys just have to be social on a set
- 35:26Speaker 5: defour once it's fine, Dave, one last thing before you
- 35:29Speaker 5: let you go, mate.
- 35:30Speaker 4: You mentioned earlier that you've got chickens. Yes, I had.
- 35:33Speaker 5: I had chickens for about four years there, and they
- 35:35Speaker 5: were just the most loveliest things to have around, best pets.
- 35:38Speaker 6: That they are the best pets, the best companions. I
- 35:41Speaker 6: probably talked to five or six people a day, including
- 35:45Speaker 6: my chickens. You know I have such a quiet, simple
- 35:49Speaker 6: life now, and that they are the easiest, most rewarding
- 35:53Speaker 6: pets you could you could own. Have you ever hypnotized
- 35:55Speaker 6: one that's I actually want to I want to learn
- 35:58Speaker 6: how it's funny.
- 35:59Speaker 4: I'll tell you to do it.
- 36:00Speaker 2: After they do. They do tend to ship everywhere they do.
- 36:03Speaker 4: But that's fine, that's part of you know. And it's
- 36:05Speaker 4: like your duck Jose that lives had attack at my lounge.
- 36:07Speaker 2: Yes, and he did big poos in my lounge and
- 36:11Speaker 2: freaked out that day.
- 36:12Speaker 4: Probably keeps them in the check in.
- 36:13Speaker 2: Here all the best of Saturday night. You're gonna go, well,
- 36:18Speaker 2: I'm predicting fourth round and Mogi and I and whoever
- 36:23Speaker 2: joins us on the backbone table looking forward to it.
- 36:25Speaker 2: Man go well, stay safe, cheers, guys, appreciate it.
- 36:28Speaker 4: That's right.
- 36:28Speaker 5: If you want to watch David Yuka's fight, it's going
- 36:31Speaker 5: to be live on dessign d a z in dot com.
- 36:33Speaker 5: It's presented by Manuka Doctor and it's going to be
- 36:36Speaker 5: this Saturday night, the whole.
- 36:38Speaker 1: A big shows with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue and Keysy.
- 36:43Speaker 2: Simple minds here on the radio. Holdankee big show this
- 36:46Speaker 2: Thursday evening. Gun he isn't great. What a lovely guy
- 36:49Speaker 2: he is? Yeah, really genuinely like backs himself, backs himself clearly,
- 36:56Speaker 2: David Nika and why wouldn't you but very humble with it.
- 37:01Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean we're basing it on what kind of
- 37:04Speaker 3: a guy is I like him. I haven't seen a
- 37:06Speaker 3: lot of his fights. He seemed to have done well.
- 37:07Speaker 3: He's got a couple of medals at the Commonwealth Games
- 37:10Speaker 3: and the Olympics as well, a couple of silvers and
- 37:11Speaker 3: a bronze, or a couple of golds and a bronze.
- 37:14Speaker 3: But I'll be interested to see him fight.
- 37:15Speaker 4: Man.
- 37:16Speaker 3: Yeah, it's it's terrible, isn't it, because then you meet
- 37:18Speaker 3: these people and you're like, I hope he doesn't get
- 37:19Speaker 3: punched in. Yeah.
- 37:20Speaker 2: Yeah, that's the other side of the coin, of course.
- 37:23Speaker 2: That's the rescue you take in the ring. You could
- 37:25Speaker 2: get smacked on.
- 37:27Speaker 5: Yes, it can be one punch. Well, one punch, they
- 37:30Speaker 5: used to call me. Yeah, that's right, because I knock
- 37:33Speaker 5: people out.
- 37:35Speaker 2: I thought you thought you'd throw a punch or something.
- 37:38Speaker 4: Yeah, that was that.
- 37:39Speaker 5: They came out with it, because I'd throw one punches
- 37:42Speaker 5: and then the fight was over.
- 37:43Speaker 4: Yeah that's embarrassing man. Yeah good, But hey, if you
- 37:47Speaker 4: want to go and watch.
- 37:49Speaker 3: There's something in my hair's got grease in there around
- 37:54Speaker 3: Oh my god, it's here.
- 37:56Speaker 4: Does nothing, It's just a cheap swatch swear something.
- 38:03Speaker 2: Something crawling in my hair. There? What are you saying
- 38:05Speaker 2: after sixty keys?
- 38:06Speaker 5: Oh no, I was just saying, if you want to
- 38:08Speaker 5: go and watch the fight, we're going to be drawing
- 38:09Speaker 5: this tomorrow. If you want to watch it on the
- 38:11Speaker 5: table with old Hoidy, j and Mogi and Pugsun will
- 38:13Speaker 5: be there as well. Text fight right now to three
- 38:15Speaker 5: four eight three, or you can watch it live on
- 38:17Speaker 5: desone dot com d az dot. We're not going to
- 38:19Speaker 5: be happier, just so you know, we're on that table.
- 38:21Speaker 5: The latter it gets, the more unhapy we're going to
- 38:23Speaker 5: be sure.
- 38:23Speaker 2: Can I say that I'm reassured by the fact that
- 38:26Speaker 2: Kesy said it's a great night, and I am in
- 38:28Speaker 2: very much looking forward to it and anticipating a great night.
- 38:31Speaker 5: It's just a a late night, a late night with
- 38:33Speaker 5: free food and drinks. Hey, coming up after six fellas.
- 38:36Speaker 5: My wife accused me of something horrendous today.

- 39:11Speaker 2: one later on tonight on YouTube.
- 39:15Speaker 4: It already browsed. You can browse for it. You can browse.

- 39:19Speaker 2: He uploads it reas he's releasing.
- 39:21Speaker 4: A dollop of content onto YouTube.
- 39:23Speaker 2: He's got to release it to upload it, and he

- 39:27Speaker 3: And yeah, you.
- 39:28Speaker 5: Know what he's like, he's always releasing in front of
- 39:30Speaker 5: a computer. But yeah, so that's yesterday's outro. The menage
- 39:34Speaker 5: tare special.
- 39:35Speaker 2: Oh that's right.
- 39:36Speaker 5: Yeah, so worth checking out. Although today's outro is pretty
- 39:39Speaker 5: damn good as well, which comes out at seven thirty tonight.
- 39:41Speaker 4: Just search Hoducky Big Show.
- 39:42Speaker 5: We've got your podcast for He's a little snippet entitled shorts.
- 39:48Speaker 3: So we have to hide all of our filthy washing
- 39:50Speaker 3: and the laundry there and had to pull it all out.
- 39:53Speaker 3: And then I found some shorts and they were of
- 39:55Speaker 3: course they were wet. And then I went to the
- 39:57Speaker 3: gym today and without a word of a light. They
- 40:01Speaker 3: were soaking wet, so I wore soaking wet shorts to
- 40:04Speaker 3: the gym, and as they dried over the course of
- 40:07Speaker 3: the workout, they were reeking, what kind of a scum
- 40:15Speaker 3: bag am I?
- 40:17Speaker 6: You know?
- 40:17Speaker 2: And and your propensity to sort of lean on machines
- 40:20Speaker 2: while woman and you're working out on them, you know,
- 40:22Speaker 2: and your stinky pants.
- 40:26Speaker 3: Are short, gross, just reeking.
- 40:32Speaker 4: It was like it grows me out. It's not good.
- 40:36Speaker 2: You know that it's bad when it growses you out.
- 40:39Speaker 4: Yeah, oh my god, are they still in your bag?
- 40:46Speaker 3: They're in my bag. Yeah, but I had another shower
- 40:48Speaker 3: in them, so I sort of washed out them.
- 40:50Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 40:51Speaker 2: Nice.
- 40:51Speaker 4: Nice?
- 40:52Speaker 2: Are you coming up a bit of a blowout between
- 40:56Speaker 2: old geeziness wife a blowout?
- 40:59Speaker 4: There's no, that's not true that he needs to talk
- 41:01Speaker 4: to us. She just accused me of something. I just
- 41:03Speaker 4: want to get your guys point of view on the man.
- 41:06Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, sure, man. You know that we'll support you,
- 41:08Speaker 2: don't you.
- 41:09Speaker 1: The Whodiking Big Show podcast.
- 41:11Speaker 2: Clean to the Stone Age here on the radio Hoedankee
- 41:14Speaker 2: Big Show this Thursday night and the Old Keesy got
- 41:18Speaker 2: a bit of marital strife talk us Suart Kesey.
- 41:20Speaker 5: It's not marital strife. I just thought the old ball
- 41:24Speaker 5: and chain you call her?
- 41:25Speaker 4: How is she?
- 41:26Speaker 5: My wife is excellent and she hates it when other
- 41:29Speaker 5: people referred to her as the old ball and chain.
- 41:31Speaker 4: I know it's okay when you do yeah, which I
- 41:33Speaker 4: always do.
- 41:34Speaker 5: My wife, No, my wife and so used today obviously
- 41:38Speaker 5: wasn't the day before.
- 41:39Speaker 4: I can't remember. The big Dave Grohl news came out yesterday.
- 41:42Speaker 5: Yeah, and I left my wedding ring. I did the dishes,
- 41:45Speaker 5: and I take my wedding ring off so it doesn't
- 41:47Speaker 5: get all dry and yucky under there. Well, it gets
- 41:51Speaker 5: all the soap from the dishwashing liquid gets trapped under
- 41:55Speaker 5: there and dries out my skin. Why is that funny?
- 42:00Speaker 5: It's not a sensitive skin thing. It's just science. Okay, Well,
- 42:06Speaker 5: I'm going to support an exchange. I've got some advice
- 42:08Speaker 5: around that though. Okay, sometimes I wear gloves. So anyway,
- 42:13Speaker 5: I took the winner stop shaking you here. I took
- 42:16Speaker 5: the winning ring off and I put it on the
- 42:18Speaker 5: window still, and I did the dishes, and then I
- 42:20Speaker 5: didn't put it back on. And then the next morning
- 42:22Speaker 5: I went to work the Dave Gorole News came out
- 42:25Speaker 5: and my wife was like, oh, see this about Dave
- 42:27Speaker 5: Grohl and I was like, yeah, that's not that's not good.
- 42:29Speaker 5: She's like, why do you leave your wedding ring at
- 42:30Speaker 5: home today? And she said, are you trying to be
- 42:33Speaker 5: like Dave Grohl? And I was like, yeah, I'm trying
- 42:36Speaker 5: to father another child outside of our relationship because one
- 42:39Speaker 5: of my rock heroes has done it, and I've left
- 42:41Speaker 5: my wedding ring at home in order to sort of
- 42:44Speaker 5: get that process started.
- 42:45Speaker 3: Right.
- 42:45Speaker 2: Well, you were on the rise, geezie. You know, you're
- 42:48Speaker 2: a rising star in the media world and the radio world,
- 42:53Speaker 2: now in the television world, and then I've worked in
- 42:57Speaker 2: TV for so long. But that was loath Mike.
- 43:01Speaker 4: That is one hundred percent correct, And and I wish
- 43:05Speaker 4: I had known that.
- 43:06Speaker 2: It would not you know, it would be I could
- 43:09Speaker 2: understand that you you're strutting around the place a bit
- 43:13Speaker 2: cocker hoop, cocker hoop. Thank you that you're the big man,
- 43:17Speaker 2: and you've got a bit of swing, and you're swinging
- 43:21Speaker 2: my way, swinging and around, and you got that big
- 43:24Speaker 2: dick energy, you know.
- 43:25Speaker 4: Yah.
- 43:27Speaker 2: So I get that she feels that way, and she's.
- 43:29Speaker 4: Getting insecure Yeah, really, because, well.
- 43:32Speaker 3: You guys have been together, and you know, you got
- 43:34Speaker 3: together very young. You've been twelve years, thirteen years you've
- 43:37Speaker 3: been together, so most of the time you've just been
- 43:40Speaker 3: a complete loser. And now you're getting some wins, right, Yeah,
- 43:45Speaker 3: and now you're getting your confidence up, and she's thinking
- 43:47Speaker 3: to herself, am I going to be able.
- 43:48Speaker 4: To keep them? Which is a fair question.
- 43:51Speaker 3: You're going to start thinking to yourself, Man, if I
- 43:54Speaker 3: got her when I was a loser, what kind of
- 43:56Speaker 3: a woman could I get now that I'm a winner.
- 43:59Speaker 3: That's a really good point, Mike. I've never thought about
- 44:01Speaker 3: it like that. Well, you have been thinking about it
- 44:03Speaker 3: a lot. Yeah, that's true. I have Actually, what do
- 44:05Speaker 3: you guys reckon? What do you guys think I should do?
- 44:08Speaker 2: Well, I just I've noticed that you have a bit
- 44:12Speaker 2: of a swagger when you walk into the office.
- 44:14Speaker 4: Now you know, I've started incorporating there.
- 44:17Speaker 2: Your eyes tend to wander a lot more than they
- 44:20Speaker 2: used to when we're doing the show, and you get
- 44:22Speaker 2: distracted very easily.
- 44:24Speaker 5: And yeah, you know, because you guys are like my
- 44:27Speaker 5: role models, and I see you guys doing it a lot, right,
- 44:30Speaker 5: So I'm like, this is what big time radio DJs do.
- 44:32Speaker 4: Sure, sure, but it's a tricky time. It's a tricky time.
- 44:35Speaker 2: Let me let me put it this way. I'm expecting
- 44:38Speaker 2: a call from her tonight in tears.
- 44:40Speaker 4: Sweet, do you reckon a fear or break up? Or
- 44:45Speaker 4: you don't want to break up?
- 44:46Speaker 2: No?
- 44:47Speaker 5: Right, so we stay together because there'll be a lot
- 44:50Speaker 5: of edmund Right, So I should just have an a fear.
- 44:52Speaker 3: Ah, I wouldn't have an a fear, but I can
- 44:55Speaker 3: see what you would.
- 44:56Speaker 4: Yeah, because I'm on the rise. That's right. Yeah, it's tricky.
- 45:01Speaker 3: It is tricky, but then troublers, casey, people tend to talk. Yeah,
- 45:06Speaker 3: people tend to.
- 45:07Speaker 4: Talk, right, So word will get out.
- 45:08Speaker 5: Word is likely to get out, Okay, and I love
- 45:12Speaker 5: making well yeah yeah right, So I shouldn't have an
- 45:14Speaker 5: a fear for that reason and that reason alone. Okay,
- 45:17Speaker 5: that's yeah, that's good advice. I won't do it because
- 45:20Speaker 5: I don't want word to get out.
- 45:22Speaker 1: The Hlaky Big Shows with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue and
- 45:26Speaker 1: Keezy MGMT.
- 45:27Speaker 2: There on the radio, Holdaky Big Show this Thursday night.
- 45:30Speaker 2: Let's talk TV.
- 45:33Speaker 6: What's on the Telly with Mike Minogue?
- 45:39Speaker 3: Oh yeah, actually, that's actually my favorite one we've ever done.
- 45:47Speaker 3: I watched Seinfeld last night. Oh no, don't know into
- 45:52Speaker 3: a play. What am I talking about? Yeah, man, I
- 45:54Speaker 3: went to a play. God, Oh, I went and saw
- 45:57Speaker 3: a play. It's a one woman show. It's at that
- 46:00Speaker 3: Sorry God, sorry for everybody outside of Auckland because you
- 46:03Speaker 3: won't be able to go to it. Sold out tonight.
- 46:05Speaker 3: But it's at the tiny theater in Westmere at Garnett Station.
- 46:09Speaker 3: I don't know what that is that's in there as well,
- 46:11Speaker 3: but it is. It's called Me My Mother and Susie
- 46:15Speaker 3: Cato and the actress there, who is Flora Targigan.
- 46:20Speaker 4: Amazing.
- 46:20Speaker 3: She's a madame madam and she plays essentially her teenage
- 46:25Speaker 3: self back in nineteen ninety nine.
- 46:27Speaker 4: Her father is building.
- 46:30Speaker 3: A bunker because of Y two K, and she's got
- 46:33Speaker 3: you know, she's a teenager at school, first boyfriend, all
- 46:36Speaker 3: that sort of stuff. Really really funny, touching. Absolutely loved it.
- 46:42Speaker 3: And you know what it's like jas when you head
- 46:43Speaker 3: along to something you're like, oh God.
- 46:45Speaker 2: Yes, especially one people show.
- 46:47Speaker 3: Oh I know, it's such a huge thing to do
- 46:49Speaker 3: because it's an hour long. She was playing maybe seven
- 46:53Speaker 3: different characters. Small theater said about forty people and to
- 46:57Speaker 3: have to go through. Oh man, it's a lot of
- 46:59Speaker 3: weight on your shoulders. It is, you know, like for me,
- 47:03Speaker 3: it freaks me out really really good. Recommend you absolutely
- 47:07Speaker 3: go along tonight. It sold out. It's on Friday and
- 47:11Speaker 3: Saturday night. Tickets are twenty backs. I twenty five backs.
- 47:13Speaker 3: Nice get along. I went and it was weird. It
- 47:18Speaker 3: was like thirty five women and five men. I think
- 47:21Speaker 3: that because it was called Susie Cato that encourages women
- 47:25Speaker 3: to go along. Right, But all you ladies out there
- 47:28Speaker 3: take take your partners. That men all love it as well, right.
- 47:31Speaker 2: Good sun to it. I watched The Old Man again
- 47:33Speaker 2: last night. It's getting a bit more convoluted TV. No,
- 47:38Speaker 2: it's not falling apart. But I'm going to go and
- 47:40Speaker 2: revise my review again from five fuzzies to four and
- 47:44Speaker 2: a half buzzies. But then my wife and I were
- 47:46Speaker 2: playing a game of scrabble and we it was a
- 47:48Speaker 2: horrific game and the letters I was getting were.
- 47:51Speaker 4: Just display this isn't scrabble check jokes.
- 47:53Speaker 2: But listen, we had one half of the of the
- 47:56Speaker 2: board and we couldn't get over the other side, and
- 47:58Speaker 2: so we just flag this. You went, yeah, okay, and
- 48:01Speaker 2: she was giving me a hiding as well.
- 48:03Speaker 3: Yeah, it wouldn't have helped. You want to keep on
- 48:05Speaker 3: going if you're leading by one fifty, wouldn't you?
- 48:07Speaker 2: Yeah? I probably would have carried on the that scenario.
- 48:09Speaker 2: What did you watch, keyzy?
- 48:11Speaker 5: I last night? My wife was working till nine point
- 48:14Speaker 5: thirty on her laptop.
- 48:15Speaker 4: Wow, she was.
- 48:16Speaker 5: Having to watch focus groups or something for how do
- 48:19Speaker 5: I get one of those jobs? By the way, it
- 48:21Speaker 5: was tedos. Now you don't want to trust me. But
- 48:24Speaker 5: while she was doing that, I was waiting because we
- 48:26Speaker 5: were going to watch Celebrity Trees or Island together.
- 48:28Speaker 4: It finished a bit too late.
- 48:29Speaker 5: She starts early such as I have to go to bed,
- 48:32Speaker 5: and I was like, fine, we'll watch that episode tomorrow
- 48:34Speaker 5: aka tonight. However, I forgot everywhere just blasts up spoilers
- 48:39Speaker 5: all over Facebook and Instagram. I didn't see any The
- 48:41Speaker 5: Heralds spin off Stuffy, and they have a photo of
- 48:44Speaker 5: the person who was eliminated every single time, and I
- 48:47Speaker 5: recall how annoying it was. Unless you watch it on
- 48:49Speaker 5: the night, you are going to get spoilers, right, super annoying.
- 48:52Speaker 5: Oh god, so I'll probably watched that tonight, although almost
- 48:55Speaker 5: likely No, yeah, I do know who. Yeah, and most
- 48:58Speaker 5: likely tonight they'll be watching Game of two halves of
- 49:00Speaker 5: eight thirty on Sky Sports. Oh yeah, of course, yes, yeah,
- 49:03Speaker 5: Old Keysy in it. I hear he's pretty good. Oh yeah,
- 49:06Speaker 5: are you guys excited to watch it?
- 49:08Speaker 4: I'm not excited for anything? Do you know what I mean?
- 49:10Speaker 3: It's like, will you watch it? I'm certainly plenty to sweet,
- 49:15Speaker 3: certainly plenty to. I'm going to sit my alarm at
- 49:17Speaker 3: because I will forget Jace. You're my agent. Surely you'd
- 49:19Speaker 3: be watching it, Jace. Jace, you're literally my agent. You
- 49:25Speaker 3: literally have to be across everything I'm doing. Surely you'll
- 49:27Speaker 3: watch it, Jace. That's a Chune.

- 49:58Speaker 2: and speaking of Green Day, they love the that's don't they?
- 50:00Speaker 2: Feelers tats the band members are covered in tats, and
- 50:06Speaker 2: if you love your tats, listen up to this little douze.
- 50:12Speaker 4: Don't throw it to me like that.
- 50:15Speaker 3: This isn't a little doozy. This is a great competition.
- 50:19Speaker 3: We get to that just a little bit more about
- 50:20Speaker 3: Green Day Jays. You're a cracket. The one of their
- 50:23Speaker 3: band members, his name is Trey Cool.
- 50:27Speaker 4: How do you feel about that?
- 50:28Speaker 2: Just makes me hate them even more.
- 50:30Speaker 5: Yeah, I like them. That sounds that's sick, Trey being
- 50:35Speaker 5: French for very Oh I don't like them anymore. Yeah,
- 50:40Speaker 5: that's lame.
- 50:41Speaker 4: It's not the base dude, is it with the spiky blonde? Yeah?

- 51:53Speaker 3: Sure, it'll just be a sleeve. It'll be on my
- 51:55Speaker 3: own and it'll say sleeve and really big leaders. That
- 51:58Speaker 3: would be funny. The only thing I'd thought that i'd
- 52:00Speaker 3: probably get would be drawings that my daughter does.
- 52:03Speaker 4: That's good, I like you, I like your drawings.
- 52:06Speaker 2: Funny should say that one of my girls has a
- 52:08Speaker 2: tattoo of a drawing her sister did, right, exactly that
- 52:11Speaker 2: that's cool.
- 52:12Speaker 3: I would like over the years to get forget one
- 52:14Speaker 3: a year of her drawings and they will get progressively,
- 52:17Speaker 3: you would hope better.
- 52:19Speaker 4: Yes, that would be something that would mean something to me.
- 52:23Speaker 2: Yeah that's cool. No, that's very good.
- 52:24Speaker 5: Like I said, I don't have any tattoos, and if
- 52:26Speaker 5: I get one, I want it to be quite meaningful
- 52:28Speaker 5: like that.
- 52:28Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 52:29Speaker 5: So I don't want to get any tatos until I
- 52:32Speaker 5: know what I want. I just want to be sticking
- 52:33Speaker 5: up with random ship.
- 52:34Speaker 2: After the story you talked about today, Keezy, after four o'clock,
- 52:39Speaker 2: I reckon you get a massive staffy.
