- 0:02Speaker 1: Two Teas in a Pod which Teddy Mellencamp and camera Jeedge. Hi, guys,
- 0:14Speaker 1: welcome to another episode of Two Teas and a Pod
- 0:17Speaker 1: with myself Teddy Mellencamp. Well, and we have our seat
- 0:20Speaker 1: today of course, Cynthia Bailey. Hi, Cynthia. I just got
- 0:25Speaker 1: to say we hit number one again.
- 0:29Speaker 2: Ay, that's awesome, But I did also want to say
- 0:35Speaker 2: that I've watched in your growth count on your Instagram.
- 0:39Speaker 1: It's continuing to rise, where I feel like mine is
- 0:42Speaker 1: just staying stagnant.
- 0:45Speaker 3: No, it's like that. It's like that, you know what.
- 0:48Speaker 3: It's tricky. It's so tricky, I promise you. Like I
- 0:51Speaker 3: thought I would never get the four million. I was like, okay,
- 0:53Speaker 3: forget it high as I can go. I've accepted it.
- 0:57Speaker 3: And then like a miracle, I got on here and
- 1:00Speaker 3: I really put it out there.
- 1:01Speaker 4: I open my mouth and actually ask people to follow me.
- 1:05Speaker 4: I usually don't do I'm not pretty comfortable doing it
- 1:09Speaker 4: on there. So and it worked and now it's it's going.
- 1:12Speaker 4: It's going. I appreciate you guys, Thank you so much
- 1:14Speaker 4: for the follow up.
- 1:15Speaker 2: Well, the interesting thing about doing this podcast, especially when
- 1:19Speaker 2: we do it on Zoom It makes you feel like
- 1:21Speaker 2: you're just talking to a friend versus actually like like
- 1:26Speaker 2: when we film in studio, I feel like it's more okay,
- 1:29Speaker 2: we're gonna get in trouble for this, or we're But
- 1:33Speaker 2: when you're on sing you're like, oh, I'm just in
- 1:34Speaker 2: my house.
- 1:35Speaker 1: It's fine.
- 1:36Speaker 4: Yeah, my kitchen here, so I can say whatever.
- 1:40Speaker 1: And I also hear the congratulations are in order?
- 1:43Speaker 4: Yes, yes, today mark's the fifth year of my Peach Billini.
- 1:50Speaker 4: This is the baby can of it, and I'm already
- 1:52Speaker 4: having some to.
- 1:53Speaker 3: Celebrate the two chairs create it, the Peach Billini and
- 1:57Speaker 3: coming out soon as my second flavor, Barry Mimosa, which
- 2:01Speaker 3: I will be enjoying after the podcast. So it's going,
- 2:05Speaker 3: you know, shout out to Seagrum's Escapes for this amazing partnership.
- 2:08Speaker 3: We are five years in this life, down another five
- 2:11Speaker 3: years okay, well even more. We'll just keep going until
- 2:13Speaker 3: we just can't go anymore.
- 2:14Speaker 1: We we'll just keep going till we can't drink anymore.
- 2:16Speaker 2: Okay, Please explain, because I do think that this is
- 2:20Speaker 2: something that so many of us who have a platform
- 2:24Speaker 2: end up having these collaborations. Can you kind of explain
- 2:27Speaker 2: a little bit how you got hooked up with Seagrums?
- 2:29Speaker 2: What the relationship is, because I think a lot of
- 2:33Speaker 2: housewives get heat, Like what do you mean? Like right
- 2:36Speaker 2: now Jena Lions on New York is getting a lot
- 2:38Speaker 2: of heat because every gift that she gives is a
- 2:42Speaker 2: gena liance, collaboration, and people are saying is very self
- 2:46Speaker 2: serving and smart.
- 2:47Speaker 4: She's starting to use the platform early. I wish I
- 2:50Speaker 4: had been on top of it my first season, Like, honestly.
- 2:53Speaker 2: So what you liked Seagrums, then you started experimenting having
- 2:58Speaker 2: a conversation with and then it just kind of grew
- 3:01Speaker 2: from there.
- 3:02Speaker 4: Not at all.
- 3:02Speaker 3: What happened was Seagrim's reached out to my agent. You know,
- 3:08Speaker 3: I guess he's found me on Instagram. I'm you know,
- 3:10Speaker 3: they were fans of the show or whatever.
- 3:13Speaker 4: I assume they saw a cocktail in my hand most
- 3:16Speaker 4: of my.
- 3:18Speaker 3: And figured it would be, you know, a pretty good
- 3:20Speaker 3: fit since I usually I don't think I ever shot
- 3:22Speaker 3: a scene without having.
- 3:23Speaker 4: A cocktail in my hands.
- 3:24Speaker 3: So they probably thought, you know what, it may be
- 3:26Speaker 3: some some some synergy here, you know, for us. So anyway,
- 3:30Speaker 3: they reached out and they basically said, hey, we would
- 3:33Speaker 3: like to give Cynthia Bailey her own signature Seagrum's Escapes cocktail,
- 3:38Speaker 3: and I was like, uh.
- 3:40Speaker 4: Yeah, where do I sign it for that?
- 3:42Speaker 1: So what the.
- 3:43Speaker 4: Beauty of the whole situation is, Teddy, is that I
- 3:47Speaker 4: took that situation.
- 3:48Speaker 1: This could have.
- 3:48Speaker 3: Easily been a one off, like hey, you get a cocktail,
- 3:50Speaker 3: and I could have just been like, yay, just send
- 3:52Speaker 3: me my check every week or whatever, every month or
- 3:54Speaker 3: however it works. But miss Bailey is no fool. Honey shout,
- 4:00Speaker 3: I'm not a fool. So I took this opportunity and
- 4:02Speaker 3: I really made it clear straight you know at the
- 4:05Speaker 3: beginning that I really wanted to be a real partnership.
- 4:08Speaker 3: I wanted to be involved, to actually helped create the drink.
- 4:10Speaker 3: I went to Chicago to the lab. They even gave
- 4:13Speaker 3: me a little lap coat, and I was like, you know,
- 4:15Speaker 3: make it sweeter, make it less sweeter, more carbonation, let's go,
- 4:18Speaker 3: you know, like the whole thing. And then I went
- 4:20Speaker 3: to the plant, the Seagrums plant in Rochester, I think
- 4:25Speaker 3: it's Rochester, New York, and I met all the workers
- 4:29Speaker 3: and I saw how the product is put together and
- 4:31Speaker 3: all that stuff. So I've been super super hands on.
- 4:34Speaker 3: So with that said, I turned one situation into a
- 4:38Speaker 3: bigger situation. They eventually asked me to be the brand
- 4:41Speaker 3: ambassador for the entire Seagums Escapes line, and now this
- 4:45Speaker 3: year they've given after five years, I actually given me
- 4:47Speaker 3: a second flavor. So the takeaway here, ladies and gentlemen
- 4:52Speaker 3: is once you get one opportunity, it's always smart to
- 4:55Speaker 3: just see if you can turn it into a bigger thing.
- 4:57Speaker 3: Because this could easily have been on one and done
- 5:00Speaker 3: like all right, that was great for a year, We're
- 5:01Speaker 3: on to the next thing, and no one would have
- 5:03Speaker 3: even remembered it.
- 5:05Speaker 1: And I think that's something important for all of us
- 5:07Speaker 1: to remember, is if you're authentic with what it is
- 5:10Speaker 1: that you're sharing, whether you're on a show, whether you're
- 5:13Speaker 1: a TikToker, whatever type of influence you are doing, if
- 5:16Speaker 1: it's authentic to who you are, and it's something that
- 5:19Speaker 1: you believe in, and it's something I mean, whether you
- 5:21Speaker 1: believe in it or you enjoy it, or whether if
- 5:24Speaker 1: it's a lip gloss or I make up line or
- 5:29Speaker 1: seagrums or whatever it is, if you actually drink it,
- 5:33Speaker 1: if you believe in it, if your hands on then
- 5:36Speaker 1: you have a bigger platform to promote it, but that
- 5:39Speaker 1: doesn't take away that you're actually a part of it.
- 5:43Speaker 1: And you said it right here, you said, this is
- 5:45Speaker 1: your five year anniversary Crab anniversary.
- 5:48Speaker 3: Yes, and I am big on you know. For me,
- 5:50Speaker 3: this partnership was great because I'm all about celebrating life
- 5:53Speaker 3: and living my best life. And what better way to
- 5:55Speaker 3: decompress and celebrate than a nice cocktail at the end
- 5:58Speaker 3: of you know, work, or you know, when you're celebrating
- 6:01Speaker 3: some big milestone or whatever your life. You know, I'm
- 6:04Speaker 3: all about living my life and celebrating every day and living.
- 6:07Speaker 4: It to the fullest.
- 6:07Speaker 2: So and I think that there's also something to be
- 6:12Speaker 2: said with yes, take opportunities if you actually like something.
- 6:16Speaker 2: But all of us have been given options to say, yes,
- 6:20Speaker 2: do you want to do this? Would you want to
- 6:21Speaker 2: work with this company? And then you try it, and
- 6:23Speaker 2: then you're like, that's actually disgusting, And I have no
- 6:27Speaker 2: interest in going down this road nor telling people that
- 6:30Speaker 2: I enjoy it. So I do think that it's not
- 6:33Speaker 2: explained really enough for people at home watching when they
- 6:36Speaker 2: see these partnerships, like when we saw the Genalian stuff
- 6:39Speaker 2: with New York, when.
- 6:40Speaker 1: We see you a seagrums.
- 6:41Speaker 2: When we see so many different housewives have different collaborations,
- 6:46Speaker 2: you can feel when it's authentic, when it's organic, when
- 6:49Speaker 2: it's real, and when it's also a one off, because
- 6:52Speaker 2: then you never hear about it again.
- 6:54Speaker 4: Yeah, that's true. That's very true. It definitely needs to
- 6:57Speaker 4: be authentic because.
- 6:59Speaker 3: You know the people by the people you know that
- 7:01Speaker 3: follow me, you have to believe, hey, you know, well she.
- 7:03Speaker 4: Really likes the streets, so I'm gonna but not you know,
- 7:07Speaker 4: as opposed.
- 7:07Speaker 3: To me just saying hey, this is good, and then
- 7:09Speaker 3: they try it and it doesn't taste good. I mean,
- 7:11Speaker 3: the peach Belline is actually one of their top sailers,
- 7:13Speaker 3: so it's gone to like, you know, it's like like
- 7:17Speaker 3: top three, if not even top two at this point.
- 7:20Speaker 2: And then I have a question for you, And did
- 7:24Speaker 2: you watch any of the Atlanta clips?
- 7:27Speaker 4: I did not? Oh I did? I watched the reunion?
- 7:29Speaker 1: Yes, you washed the reunion? I did?
- 7:31Speaker 4: I watched it with Noel last night. Yes.
- 7:33Speaker 1: Okay, So now I have some questions for you.
- 7:35Speaker 2: Okay, One, what is your thought process on an og
- 7:40Speaker 2: Or rumored the highest paid housewife in history being on
- 7:47Speaker 2: third seat? Do you think there's really merit to that, Like,
- 7:51Speaker 2: do you think there's a real reason for it, or
- 7:53Speaker 2: just because she wasn't as engaged during the season but
- 7:56Speaker 2: now she's activated.
- 7:58Speaker 1: What's your thought?
- 7:59Speaker 3: Well, at first, I think Candy was very engaged the season,
- 8:02Speaker 3: for sure, that's number one. But number two, I think
- 8:06Speaker 3: I don't think Candy really cares where she sits as
- 8:08Speaker 3: long as she's the highest paid.
- 8:11Speaker 4: Matters. I mean, I wouldn't give a damn if I
- 8:14Speaker 4: was the highest bade me. They literally can send me
- 8:19Speaker 4: on my own little chair beside the couch.
- 8:21Speaker 1: Probably you're like Papa Squad on the floor.
- 8:27Speaker 4: I did not have to come. I can zoom in.
- 8:30Speaker 4: Just sue my ass in. You know what I'm saying.
- 8:32Speaker 4: If I'm high spade, do you.
- 8:34Speaker 2: Think that she has so you don't think she has
- 8:36Speaker 2: any sort of ego about it?
- 8:37Speaker 1: Like there are some that like will not sit down
- 8:40Speaker 1: if they're.
- 8:40Speaker 3: Not absolutely absolutely, I mean I was like one of
- 8:43Speaker 3: the housewives, like I didn't really care where I said.
- 8:45Speaker 3: I was never in the middle. I was never beside Andy,
- 8:48Speaker 3: And it was honestly like a blessing in a lot
- 8:52Speaker 3: of ways, because I never wanted to be in hot
- 8:53Speaker 3: seat number one, and that's where you get to see
- 8:56Speaker 3: it when you're you know, set it beside Andy. But
- 8:58Speaker 3: as far as like where we are after being on
- 9:02Speaker 3: the show for eleven consistent years, I just was happy
- 9:05Speaker 3: to you know, to have my job every year. I
- 9:07Speaker 3: really didn't care. And it's like, please don't focus on
- 9:10Speaker 3: me that much. Let me just be a part of
- 9:12Speaker 3: the team. I wasn't Kobe, so I didn't never bitch,
- 9:17Speaker 3: but the rest of the starters.
- 9:19Speaker 1: Okay, like that's all I really need. Well that that
- 9:23Speaker 1: kind of leads me to the next question that tamer
- 9:25Speaker 1: and I spoke about when we were recapping Atlanta and
- 9:29Speaker 1: our last two episodes ago. Did you think that Candy
- 9:35Speaker 1: went a little far when she said that Drew was
- 9:38Speaker 1: gas lighting Ralph? Or do you do you feel for
- 9:43Speaker 1: Ralph in this situation?
- 9:45Speaker 3: I just think the word, guess lighting is so provoking,
- 9:50Speaker 3: like it just automatically just makes you feel.
- 9:53Speaker 4: Some kind of way, you know what I mean, and
- 9:55Speaker 4: it just sets you off.
- 9:56Speaker 3: So I think in her frustration she said that, I
- 9:59Speaker 3: don't know how she really feels, but I understand from
- 10:03Speaker 3: her side why she said it. With everything how everything
- 10:06Speaker 3: wrote out on the show, and then on Drew side,
- 10:08Speaker 3: I'm staying why.
- 10:09Speaker 2: She was, you know, upset about it, and now our
- 10:23Speaker 2: final Atlanta question because I just this is really getting
- 10:27Speaker 2: It's getting to me.
- 10:28Speaker 4: Okay.
- 10:29Speaker 2: So part of why I love podcasting with you is
- 10:31Speaker 2: because you're naturally just funny.
- 10:34Speaker 1: You won't even think about it. You'll just say something
- 10:37Speaker 1: like I.
- 10:37Speaker 2: Remember we were doing O C which Ryan had the
- 10:41Speaker 2: same jacket on tonight when meeting Jen's mom.
- 10:44Speaker 1: Where you said the same jacket where what you said
- 10:50Speaker 1: the jacket had the nerve to.
- 10:52Speaker 2: Have its like just little things like that. So Marlowe
- 10:59Speaker 2: is really fun and her confessionals, and then this episode,
- 11:04Speaker 2: Andy essentially asked her to redo the talks of everybody's
- 11:09Speaker 2: looks yes, yes, yes, and she wasn't able to do it,
- 11:12Speaker 2: Like it was just she just kind of complimented nicely around.
- 11:16Speaker 4: That was her moment to.
- 11:17Speaker 3: Throw like some serious funny shade, because I mean she's
- 11:20Speaker 3: been wearing everybody else except her you know, her friends,
- 11:23Speaker 3: So that would have been like, hey, you have an
- 11:26Speaker 3: excuse and you have a moment here to really have
- 11:29Speaker 3: fun with this. And I expected her to just really
- 11:32Speaker 3: like you know, kind of lay everybody out a little
- 11:34Speaker 3: bit just have litle fun with it, because it was like,
- 11:36Speaker 3: you know, they looked all the great, but you know
- 11:38Speaker 3: there was something that could have been said about everybody's stuff,
- 11:41Speaker 3: you know.
- 11:41Speaker 1: So now my question goes, do you think that she
- 11:45Speaker 1: has someone that hypes her up with her jokes and
- 11:48Speaker 1: her confessionals or do you think she just was not
- 11:53Speaker 1: in the mindset to do it at that point in time.
- 11:55Speaker 3: Well, I know Marlone really well and after working with her,
- 11:58Speaker 3: I know her on and off the show, and after
- 12:00Speaker 3: working with her, she's just not quick like that with
- 12:02Speaker 3: like comebacks, like it's like a skill and an art
- 12:06Speaker 3: like some people.
- 12:06Speaker 1: The shame.
- 12:10Speaker 4: She will tell you this, Marlo knows.
- 12:11Speaker 3: She's like she can be like I don't know how
- 12:13Speaker 3: to read, you know, she's like not the greatest the
- 12:16Speaker 3: wood shade, Like she's just not super quick with like
- 12:19Speaker 3: comebacks like that.
- 12:19Speaker 4: And we laugh about it all the time because I
- 12:21Speaker 4: would literally be like, Marlow, are you ready for the reunion?
- 12:24Speaker 4: Get together?
- 12:25Speaker 1: You need to land those points.
- 12:26Speaker 3: Girls, land those points and just you know, be sharp.
- 12:29Speaker 3: And I mean I have to save in my own
- 12:30Speaker 3: self like I can be I've gotten quicker, I've gotten better,
- 12:33Speaker 3: But I've had a lot more practice, I think, but
- 12:35Speaker 3: you know, at the end of the day, some people
- 12:37Speaker 3: just can fire right on. But I do think after
- 12:40Speaker 3: watching the reunion and the reunions past, so oh, I'm sorry,
- 12:45Speaker 3: Natt was trying to come for me.
- 12:47Speaker 1: So okay, are you shaving me? Are you reading me?
- 12:50Speaker 1: You realize people call me a nap?
- 12:56Speaker 4: Oh my god, that is hilarious. Why did I think
- 12:58Speaker 4: when I said that, I was like, okay, please, I'm
- 13:00Speaker 4: let this.
- 13:05Speaker 1: Now. Now I'm cutting in hot, rolling up my.
- 13:08Speaker 3: Sleeves, back to bringing really quick. So I will say
- 13:15Speaker 3: that I've heard and I do believe.
- 13:17Speaker 4: That some of the ladies definitely get help with their reeds,
- 13:20Speaker 4: like they actually have little sessions so they can come
- 13:22Speaker 4: on and be ready. I never did that because I
- 13:26Speaker 4: don't know.
- 13:26Speaker 1: I just well, that's why you were fired. Just oh,
- 13:35Speaker 1: I'm sorry. You were not fired, you were demoted.
- 13:39Speaker 4: Demoted.
- 13:40Speaker 3: I could have had the I could have I was
- 13:42Speaker 3: welcome to come back as a bread okay, and I
- 13:44Speaker 3: gracefully declined. I just felt like, hey, if you're gonna
- 13:46Speaker 3: break up with me, you don't get to still have
- 13:48Speaker 3: sex with me. Break up, okay, just let me go.
- 13:52Speaker 1: You don't get to just put the tip in.
- 13:57Speaker 4: I want a clean break, a clean break with me,
- 14:02Speaker 4: with me. I do feel like some of the ladies
- 14:04Speaker 4: do have help with their reads because they're some good
- 14:07Speaker 4: I mean, who sits and thinks that quick and just
- 14:10Speaker 4: lay somebody out like that?
- 14:12Speaker 2: Like there are some housewives that you watch in a confessional, like,
- 14:16Speaker 2: for example, for me, one that is just so quick
- 14:19Speaker 2: as from Potomac.
- 14:21Speaker 1: Now, of course I am so slow. I can't even
- 14:24Speaker 1: remember her name.
- 14:25Speaker 2: Candace candas from Potomac like good she but I feel
- 14:31Speaker 2: like it's from like growing up in pageants and just
- 14:33Speaker 2: kinding to be an asshole at a moment's notice, Like
- 14:36Speaker 2: she can lay somebody out within seconds. I don't think
- 14:41Speaker 2: anyone's helping her along the way, but there are some
- 14:44Speaker 2: where you're like.
- 14:45Speaker 4: I think she has the gift.
- 14:46Speaker 3: I think Candace has the shade red gift for sure,
- 14:50Speaker 3: because not only is her reads really shady, they're actually
- 14:53Speaker 3: really funny. And to me, the best reads are not me.
- 14:55Speaker 4: They're actually funny and just yeah, you know, with a
- 14:58Speaker 4: splashing me.
- 15:00Speaker 2: With a splash of truth and a splash of meanness,
- 15:03Speaker 2: but not full truth.
- 15:05Speaker 3: It has to be a right the right amount. The
- 15:08Speaker 3: right percentage is of realness.
- 15:11Speaker 1: Low low, low, mean.
- 15:12Speaker 4: Girl, little Virgina George, just a little splash of Regina George.
- 15:15Speaker 1: You know.
- 15:15Speaker 4: Yeah, but for.
- 15:16Speaker 3: The most part, if it makes me laugh, I'm sorry,
- 15:20Speaker 3: you got me. Sorry, Sorry I laugh, But it was funny.
- 15:23Speaker 2: Well, I'm ashamed of myself because already I have to
- 15:27Speaker 2: recall something I've already said on this podcast, which is,
- 15:31Speaker 2: I don't know if I'm more ashamed for me or
- 15:32Speaker 2: more ashamed for Ryan. The coat in which I was
- 15:35Speaker 2: just speaking of where I said that he rewore the jacket.
- 15:40Speaker 1: It's actually a different jacket.
- 15:42Speaker 3: Okay, but maybe it was like from the same designer
- 15:46Speaker 3: because it but so you got to take it back because.
- 15:50Speaker 4: I thought it looked like kind of he obviously has
- 15:52Speaker 4: a style, you know what I mean.
- 15:53Speaker 3: He has like, you know, he's kind of centric a little,
- 15:57Speaker 3: but he looks like a lot going on with his clothes.
- 15:59Speaker 4: So he likes a peacock exactly, exactly exactly.
- 16:03Speaker 2: So okay, so we started off the episode, but before
- 16:08Speaker 2: we even start, I want to put out a question
- 16:11Speaker 2: to everybody, including Cynthia, who is the target audience for
- 16:16Speaker 2: an at home clonic?
- 16:19Speaker 4: Oh me for sure. Oh my sure you.
- 16:23Speaker 1: Feel comfortable sticking own thing in your butt like a
- 16:26Speaker 1: little tiny thing, as you said on the twelve. I
- 16:28Speaker 1: don't know that I do.
- 16:30Speaker 4: I'm one hundred I've never done it.
- 16:32Speaker 3: And I was excited to see that she was coming
- 16:35Speaker 3: up with this whole thing because I think it's a
- 16:36Speaker 3: great concept because I.
- 16:37Speaker 4: Actually, you know, I have to go somewhere. I have
- 16:39Speaker 4: to go to the klonic place. If I could figure
- 16:42Speaker 4: out how to do her from home, oh baby, listen,
- 16:46Speaker 4: I would be doing one leg once a week, if
- 16:48Speaker 4: not twice, like seriously, like I love a good Klonic.
- 16:51Speaker 4: I think this is a great, great business idea for sure.
- 16:55Speaker 2: I just feel like Then they did the flashback of
- 16:59Speaker 2: David are saying that some was caught on his fingernail.
- 17:04Speaker 4: Gross, it happens. The thing about those klons, it ain't
- 17:09Speaker 4: get kind of get a little.
- 17:10Speaker 1: Messy, Okay, I can get a little freaking messy. Wow. Yeah,
- 17:16Speaker 1: that's that's really where I wanted to start.
- 17:18Speaker 3: But wait a minute, then she said, but didn't didn't
- 17:21Speaker 3: shan and say something about the tip getting broke off
- 17:24Speaker 3: in her butt and somebody had to go in and
- 17:26Speaker 3: try to find the tip. Now that scared me. I
- 17:28Speaker 3: thought like, well, first of all that happened, who, like,
- 17:32Speaker 3: I'm single, who is going to go?
- 17:34Speaker 1: And you went to your daughter and said, can you
- 17:37Speaker 1: do me a favor? Can you go on the tip
- 17:40Speaker 1: of my klonic No?
- 17:43Speaker 4: No, on the Biggest German vote. She wouldn't even what
- 17:46Speaker 4: have been the house of bag do number two?
- 17:48Speaker 3: Let alone go on my butt and pull the broken
- 17:51Speaker 3: piece of klan uh stick out like it's it's no.
- 17:55Speaker 2: It's I can barely hold myself accountable to proper tampon changes,
- 18:02Speaker 2: let alone adding another hole into.
- 18:04Speaker 1: The mix like I need a professional.
- 18:10Speaker 4: Too many Listen, I hear you. I think that you
- 18:14Speaker 4: know I would read those instructions very carefully and be
- 18:17Speaker 4: very mindful throughout that process. But I'm your bored.
- 18:23Speaker 1: Oh my gosh. Okay, So now that we got through.
- 18:25Speaker 2: That, we we start to see a little bit more
- 18:29Speaker 2: of Jen and her backstory, which then I started digging
- 18:34Speaker 2: because I realized I don't know much of the backstory.
- 18:38Speaker 2: So because we're just kind of getting the way that
- 18:41Speaker 2: and tell me if I'm wrong or if I'm missing
- 18:43Speaker 2: something here. But I always thought, like her husband, her
- 18:47Speaker 2: ex husband, or her current husband, that she's not divorced
- 18:50Speaker 2: from I thought he still lived in Oklahoma, like I knew.
- 18:56Speaker 2: They moved there together for him to help the family business.
- 18:59Speaker 2: I thought he was still there working with the family
- 19:02Speaker 2: business and then they separated that.
- 19:04Speaker 4: Way, Okay? Is that not? Where he is? Is he?
- 19:07Speaker 4: Where does he live?
- 19:08Speaker 1: Well? The streets are talking and what the streets are
- 19:17Speaker 1: saying that.
- 19:21Speaker 2: This was the second time that Jen stepped out on
- 19:27Speaker 2: her marriage, and that he caught her in a car
- 19:34Speaker 2: with Ryan allegedly allegedly, Okay, and so so this time
- 19:42Speaker 2: with someone different. Both times were with.
- 19:45Speaker 1: Was somebody different. So the first time they supposedly worked.
- 19:48Speaker 2: Through it, and the second time allegedly this is what happened.
- 19:55Speaker 2: Here's the thing, regardless of how this all went down,
- 20:00Speaker 2: what I want from my housewife is transparency.
- 20:05Speaker 4: Break it down for us so we can be clear.
- 20:08Speaker 2: Because in my mind, you lived in Oklahoma, you didn't
- 20:13Speaker 2: want to be in Oklahoma.
- 20:14Speaker 1: You came home.
- 20:16Speaker 2: That's why all of his stuff is still in your house,
- 20:18Speaker 2: not that at any point in time you were moved
- 20:21Speaker 2: out because you stepped out. Like now I'm lost and
- 20:24Speaker 2: now I'm left to Reddit in the World Wide Web
- 20:28Speaker 2: and everything but HD Television to learn about the backstory,
- 20:33Speaker 2: So Jen, you don't want us to dig give it
- 20:37Speaker 2: to us firsthand, because now I'm lost. But we are
- 20:41Speaker 2: in the scene with Jen and her mom, Kristen. They're
- 20:44Speaker 2: making cookies together. Jen says that her mom is her
- 20:47Speaker 2: best friend, but when her marriage got rocky, she stopped visiting.
- 20:53Speaker 2: Do you think that would have happened with your mom?
- 21:00Speaker 4: Yes, if my mom was having an issue with my
- 21:04Speaker 4: marriage or had strong opinions about it, she would probably
- 21:09Speaker 4: stay away and probably not be invited over as much,
- 21:13Speaker 4: because you know, it's a fine line when you're dealing
- 21:17Speaker 4: with stuff in your marriage and then your you know,
- 21:19Speaker 4: your your parents usually have your best interest, so they
- 21:22Speaker 4: usually have a lot to say, so I can get
- 21:24Speaker 4: a little tricky. So I think it was.
- 21:25Speaker 3: Smart for her to kind of, like, you know, just
- 21:28Speaker 3: give Gins some space to kind of like figure it out,
- 21:30Speaker 3: as opposed to being all on top of them for sure.
- 21:35Speaker 2: But my question is do you think that it is
- 21:38Speaker 2: because she was upset with Jen, or she didn't want
- 21:41Speaker 2: to get involved in the combination of the two, or
- 21:44Speaker 2: she doesn't trust Ryan, or like, what is your mindset?
- 21:47Speaker 1: Like immediately take you too?
- 21:50Speaker 4: I think watch an episode Teddy. I think it was
- 21:52Speaker 4: a little bit of all of that. I think her
- 21:54Speaker 4: mom was filling a combination of all of those things.
- 21:57Speaker 2: To be honest, when was the last time you baked
- 22:02Speaker 2: homemade chocolate chip cookies?
- 22:04Speaker 4: Okay? First of all, the last thing I need is
- 22:07Speaker 4: a typing cokie. Okay.
- 22:09Speaker 3: I finally am at a weight that I like right now,
- 22:13Speaker 3: finally kicking up my pandemic weight.
- 22:15Speaker 4: And I don't need a cook homemade or score ball otherwise.
- 22:20Speaker 4: All right? And when do I have time? Who has time?
- 22:23Speaker 3: I wish I had time to actually sit and bake
- 22:25Speaker 3: some cookies. I'm like busy hustling and looking for my
- 22:28Speaker 3: next job. So no, I'm not baking cookies this week.
- 22:31Speaker 1: But I just go to Postmates, Gennis, I just go
- 22:36Speaker 1: to Postmates, and I'm like, okay, crumble cookies. Here we go.
- 22:40Speaker 1: These are the flavors of the day.
- 22:44Speaker 2: But as they continue talking, Kristen says that Well married
- 22:48Speaker 2: Jen because of her and she was like a mom
- 22:51Speaker 2: to him. M I don't know how i'd feel about
- 22:57Speaker 2: somebody telling me they married me because I because of
- 23:01Speaker 2: my mother.
- 23:04Speaker 4: I mean, it's sweet, like I I it's sweet, But yeah,
- 23:08Speaker 4: at the end, of the day. You know, the person
- 23:10Speaker 4: has to be with you, not mama. So yeah.
- 23:15Speaker 1: But then Jen tells her mom that she really wants
- 23:17Speaker 1: her to meet Ryan so she could give her honest
- 23:20Speaker 1: opinion of him, and Kristen says it'll be weird and different.
- 23:24Speaker 1: I'm actually shocked it has been this long and she
- 23:28Speaker 1: hasn't met Ryan. That's a long time.
- 23:30Speaker 4: So am I Yeah, so am I?
- 23:34Speaker 1: I was like, okay, but Jen is pretty good at
- 23:38Speaker 1: picking out coffee mugs. Sorry, Jen is pretty good actually
- 23:42Speaker 1: picking up coffee mugs from home goods because today's coffee mug,
- 23:46Speaker 1: I said, mistake.
- 23:50Speaker 3: I'm paying more attention to these. I'm paying more attention
- 23:53Speaker 3: to these coffee mugs now, not that they kind of
- 23:55Speaker 3: like have hidden meanings times so secret meetings, So like,
- 24:00Speaker 3: what does that copy mund say?
- 24:02Speaker 1: And I was like, no, mistake, that tracks with the
- 24:06Speaker 1: current combo. Then we get into Heather throwing a party
- 24:11Speaker 1: for the launch a fireside and the party is themed
- 24:15Speaker 1: Heather Debro lifestyle.
- 24:18Speaker 4: Yes, living your life in High Definition?
- 24:23Speaker 1: Okay, Yeah.
- 24:25Speaker 2: Heather told Emily that Shannon was talking shit about her
- 24:29Speaker 2: Bravo con and Emily is so irritated and does not
- 24:33Speaker 2: know where their friendship stands. Listen before even hearing anything
- 24:37Speaker 2: about Bravocan, Emily, I can tell you your friendship is
- 24:40Speaker 2: not a good.
- 24:41Speaker 4: Place with Bannon, and I can control that.
- 24:46Speaker 3: From what I've seen on the Stev Show, I would
- 24:50Speaker 3: confirm that it's not in a good place either.
- 24:53Speaker 1: Not in a good place.
- 24:54Speaker 2: Not shocked that you get a bunch of drunk housewives
- 24:57Speaker 2: at Bravo con and people are going to talk shit.
- 25:00Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, do we know what was said? Like what
- 25:06Speaker 3: kind of shit was she talking? Was it like a
- 25:08Speaker 3: lot of.
- 25:09Speaker 4: Shit or just a little bit of shit? Like what?
- 25:11Speaker 1: To be honest, it was.
- 25:14Speaker 2: It was as good as shit as Marlow said at
- 25:17Speaker 2: the reunion about the girls reunion dresses.
- 25:19Speaker 1: It was medium shit. It wasn't even a full Shannon
- 25:23Speaker 1: a little bit of shit. Yeah, it was just a
- 25:25Speaker 1: little bit of shit.
- 25:26Speaker 2: Like it wasn't like attacking her character, her as a
- 25:30Speaker 2: human being, her children.
- 25:32Speaker 1: She didn't say anything about CPS to my knowledge, like
- 25:35Speaker 1: there it really was just.
- 25:38Speaker 2: Casual shit talking. Yeah, is anything to be that upset about?
- 25:41Speaker 2: Probably not that being said. Heather I think is quite
- 25:47Speaker 2: sensitive to shit talking in any capacity.
- 25:51Speaker 1: Also, what time of day was this?
- 25:53Speaker 2: Heather dubre event in your opinion, because how did Emily
- 25:58Speaker 2: get so drunk?
- 26:00Speaker 1: To me, I thought it was like eleven am.
- 26:02Speaker 3: It was definitely a day event. I can confirm that
- 26:05Speaker 3: for sure. And it felt like it could be on
- 26:07Speaker 3: the early side. I want to say, if I could
- 26:09Speaker 3: guess like it was before four o'clock for sure.
- 26:11Speaker 4: It seemed like it kind of started on the early side.
- 26:14Speaker 3: But Emily did say that she hadn't eaten anything, which
- 26:17Speaker 3: you know, champagne is very tricky without food, for sure.
- 26:21Speaker 1: True.
- 26:21Speaker 2: Well, I mean all alcohol is pretty tricky without food
- 26:24Speaker 2: and any emotions when they're coming in hot. But Emily
- 26:31Speaker 2: can't help herself. She's like, Heather, you should put your
- 26:35Speaker 2: initials on more things.
- 26:37Speaker 1: And then Heather pretty much is like Emily's being an ass.
- 26:44Speaker 1: I spit up my water when I saw Emily just
- 26:48Speaker 1: holding the cucumber out of her mouth, and then panned
- 26:51Speaker 1: to Tamra's confessional with a green piece of tape hanging out.
- 27:07Speaker 4: All right, So you know, Emily is my girl, she's
- 27:11Speaker 4: your girl, and I always try to defend Emily, but
- 27:14Speaker 4: I will say, okay, I laughed.
- 27:17Speaker 3: I couldn't help it a few times when she said
- 27:19Speaker 3: like it. You know, she was talking about the side.
- 27:21Speaker 4: She's like it has sand in it, like like, here's
- 27:24Speaker 4: the thing when you eat, and Emily's the fence And
- 27:27Speaker 4: this is the only way I can defend her in
- 27:28Speaker 4: the scene. Rich fancy food is not always the most
- 27:34Speaker 4: delicious food I have found. It's usually it.
- 27:40Speaker 3: Has no seasoning in some cases no dressing for the salad.
- 27:43Speaker 3: I don't know who thought it was a good idea
- 27:45Speaker 3: not to have dressing with the salad, but whatever, I
- 27:47Speaker 3: want to see the salad dressing boat on the table.
- 27:50Speaker 4: I don't want it sprinkled on my plate. I want
- 27:52Speaker 4: to like, I don't want to have.
- 27:53Speaker 1: To dig around and try to find one little moat
- 27:56Speaker 1: on the side, because.
- 27:58Speaker 4: You know, it's like salad dress and drops. It's not
- 28:00Speaker 4: even like a proper dollar. Okay, So anyway, you just
- 28:03Speaker 4: know it wasn't enough damn sound dressing on that salad.
- 28:05Speaker 1: For sure.
- 28:07Speaker 3: But I will say that, oh Emily, I felt like,
- 28:11Speaker 3: you know, she was definitely being inappropriate. And at first
- 28:15Speaker 3: I was like, Okay, she's been drinking. The drinks have
- 28:18Speaker 3: definitely kicked in, so I was trying to blame it
- 28:21Speaker 3: on alcohol. But then it's got to the point where
- 28:23Speaker 3: she wouldn't let it go, like she just acted out
- 28:26Speaker 3: from the moment.
- 28:29Speaker 4: Her ass left. Okay, she did not cut Heather any slack.
- 28:34Speaker 4: And I felt really bad because, first of all, let
- 28:36Speaker 4: me just say, Heather looked beautiful by.
- 28:38Speaker 1: The way, and they have vo was beautiful.
- 28:40Speaker 4: Oh it was stunning. It was so stunning. And you know,
- 28:44Speaker 4: I know you have feels to throw an event like
- 28:46Speaker 4: I don't even throw events like that on that level.
- 28:49Speaker 4: So anything that I do, like, I'm proud of it.
- 28:52Speaker 4: I'm excited. I have the girls there, like, come on now,
- 28:54Speaker 4: just just give me my respect, Like you can come
- 28:56Speaker 4: for me toward the end of the event, but just
- 28:58Speaker 4: don't wear me out the entire time. And I felt
- 29:00Speaker 4: like Emily just wouldn't be quiet.
- 29:03Speaker 3: She did that they might come in and coming, like
- 29:06Speaker 3: even when she wasn't even trying to be funny, they
- 29:08Speaker 3: just she was like.
- 29:09Speaker 4: On her on the world.
- 29:11Speaker 1: She was in her own world. She was not on
- 29:13Speaker 1: a television show. She thought she was like back in
- 29:16Speaker 1: like college drug at opportunity party where nobody was going
- 29:20Speaker 1: to see this or hear her.
- 29:22Speaker 4: Air, Like she was in her own zone.
- 29:25Speaker 1: Even Gina goes, okay, stop it, you're being a deck Well.
- 29:30Speaker 3: I love Gina in this episode, by the way, too.
- 29:32Speaker 3: I thought she was really funny and had some great
- 29:35Speaker 3: points and just was like she looked great in her
- 29:37Speaker 3: confessionals too, Like I'm becoming a big old Gina fan
- 29:40Speaker 3: over here.
- 29:42Speaker 1: I am too.
- 29:43Speaker 2: I also want to talk a little bit about interactive content,
- 29:47Speaker 2: because I am happy to be in any interactive content
- 29:51Speaker 2: with Heather du Brow if it's gonna get me fifty
- 29:54Speaker 2: five million dollars stacks of cash, like I'll interact with
- 29:59Speaker 2: do you what do you need from me?
- 30:02Speaker 4: Absolutely? And I will, yes.
- 30:05Speaker 1: But also, what do you think about not telling your
- 30:07Speaker 1: friends about selling a house? I don't know that I
- 30:09Speaker 1: would care. I don't actually think I would care if
- 30:11Speaker 1: somebody told me they were selling their house or not. Yeah.
- 30:14Speaker 4: Well, first of all, I understand why she didn't tell everyone.
- 30:18Speaker 1: Why you don't think this is a trustworthy group of women.
- 30:21Speaker 3: No, I mean they have been on Heather's ass whole season, okay,
- 30:26Speaker 3: and literally everything she does, you know, to Heather's point,
- 30:30Speaker 3: you know, comes up like she's bragging. But the woman
- 30:32Speaker 3: is just rich and just has a lot of great
- 30:34Speaker 3: stuff going on, so it's not bragging.
- 30:36Speaker 4: It's just bets. If you just sell your house for
- 30:39Speaker 4: fifty five millions, that's not a brag. That's actually just amazing. Actually,
- 30:44Speaker 4: I'm just jealous. Yeah, you could be jealous, but you
- 30:47Speaker 4: have to let I mean, I mean, would we all
- 30:50Speaker 4: love to sell our house if she because if she
- 30:53Speaker 4: actually did tell them at that dinner, guys, thank you
- 30:56Speaker 4: so much for joining me for this HD event with
- 30:59Speaker 4: my initials everywhere, But I also want to let you
- 31:02Speaker 4: know of other exciting news.
- 31:03Speaker 1: I just sold my house for fifty five million.
- 31:06Speaker 4: They would have been like fuck, well, I don't know
- 31:10Speaker 4: the family would have received it because she was not
- 31:12Speaker 4: receiving anything from Heather at that time. But what was
- 31:16Speaker 4: I gonna say? But here's the thing.
- 31:18Speaker 3: I think whether she told the ladies before the event,
- 31:22Speaker 3: after the event, I think she would have been met
- 31:24Speaker 3: with some of the same kind of like shade.
- 31:27Speaker 4: I think it wouldn't have mattered. I think they, you know,
- 31:29Speaker 4: feel like you know, Heather's like Heather ing.
- 31:33Speaker 3: You know, things are happening, and you know, like the
- 31:37Speaker 3: I think I finally understand the fireside thing, Like I
- 31:40Speaker 3: think I finally get that, and it's something that I
- 31:42Speaker 3: definitely I'll be keeping up with that because I think
- 31:45Speaker 3: I need to be a part of that so I
- 31:46Speaker 3: can make some money across. I'm like, when is the
- 31:50Speaker 3: app ready can be downloaded today? Like what is happening
- 31:53Speaker 3: with that? But I think she's onto something with that.
- 31:55Speaker 1: But I don't know.
- 31:56Speaker 4: I just thought the ladies were just kind of like,
- 31:57Speaker 4: I don't want to.
- 31:58Speaker 3: Say, hating on her a little bit, but they're like,
- 32:00Speaker 3: I mean, what if she supposed to act like she
- 32:02Speaker 3: has a pabulous lie?
- 32:05Speaker 1: I know, I don't know what it is.
- 32:07Speaker 2: Like, I think I know that we need her, Like
- 32:10Speaker 2: I enjoy watching her. I enjoy some of it, but
- 32:13Speaker 2: then there are moments where I cringe a little bit,
- 32:15Speaker 2: like after the fireside event when they went back to
- 32:19Speaker 2: Heather's house to see it again even though it had
- 32:21Speaker 2: already moved out, and they took their shoes off and
- 32:24Speaker 2: we're dancing around in front of production, Like I was like,
- 32:28Speaker 2: you know what I do that?
- 32:29Speaker 4: Ty? I think they're too rich for Orange County. I
- 32:32Speaker 4: think they should think about Hills because it's own.
- 32:35Speaker 1: Maybe they need to go to Dubai, Like they're that
- 32:37Speaker 1: kind of rich.
- 32:38Speaker 4: They need to bear around other people as rich as
- 32:40Speaker 4: they are are richer, because it just felt dispeels like
- 32:43Speaker 4: everyone else in Orange County is poor.
- 32:45Speaker 2: Bitter, Well, they're richer than us, but we're like, yeah,
- 32:51Speaker 2: feel bad for them.
- 32:51Speaker 1: Help me, I'm poor again.
- 32:56Speaker 3: Like I honestly, every time I look at a Heather
- 33:00Speaker 3: Debro scene, I realized more and more that I am
- 33:04Speaker 3: nowhere near or I want to be financially, Like my
- 33:08Speaker 3: house is a piece of crap, Like I am not
- 33:12Speaker 3: killing it the way I thought I was killing it.
- 33:14Speaker 4: I got a lot of work to do and I
- 33:15Speaker 4: got I'm very party.
- 33:17Speaker 2: That neither of us are bringing food and bird cages,
- 33:21Speaker 2: as Emily said. But at this point, like when you
- 33:24Speaker 2: know somebody's just on your ass, I wonder why Heather
- 33:28Speaker 2: doesn't just kind of laugh at it. It's not like
- 33:31Speaker 2: there was a bunch of like from my guess, by
- 33:34Speaker 2: looking around, it looked just like a bunch of pretty
- 33:36Speaker 2: rich women from Orange County. I don't think there was
- 33:39Speaker 2: like a bunch of business investors at this event or
- 33:42Speaker 2: anybody that could jeopardize her career or anything of that token.
- 33:45Speaker 1: I think it was just her pretty friends that want
- 33:48Speaker 1: to be on next season. So what she's so like,
- 33:52Speaker 1: give it back to her, give it back to her
- 33:53Speaker 1: a little.
- 33:54Speaker 4: She could have done it, but I think that she
- 33:57Speaker 4: tried to ignore it a little bit in the beginning,
- 33:59Speaker 4: but Emily was not letting up anytime soon.
- 34:02Speaker 3: So I felt like, Heather, just you know, for me,
- 34:07Speaker 3: it's like, okay, all right, I get it, you've like
- 34:09Speaker 3: said a couple of things, but I just don't like
- 34:11Speaker 3: when it becomes like a little disrespectful, like it was
- 34:14Speaker 3: her event, it was her a moment, and I think
- 34:16Speaker 3: you know, when you come to someone's event, especially for
- 34:20Speaker 3: their big moment, you have one job at right, just
- 34:23Speaker 3: at right. You can wear me out the next sea.
- 34:26Speaker 3: You can light shay, but do not damn a dragon event,
- 34:30Speaker 3: you know what I mean. Like, I'm sure from looking
- 34:33Speaker 3: at Emily eat that food that it was not that tasty, okay.
- 34:36Speaker 2: But I'm also sure from throwing many Housewives events, not
- 34:41Speaker 2: one of them was I respected or people complimentary or
- 34:46Speaker 2: take it.
- 34:47Speaker 1: Never once from Beverly Hills showed up to like the
- 34:54Speaker 1: yoga a portion of my event. Did I cry about it? Now?
- 34:58Speaker 1: Was I thankful not to be involved in the fight
- 35:00Speaker 1: that they had during it? Yes, Like there's only so
- 35:04Speaker 1: much you can expect.
- 35:05Speaker 4: All right, that's true. That's true.
- 35:07Speaker 3: I'm coming from you know, for me, I've actually had
- 35:12Speaker 3: very successful events where people actually come and act writer.
- 35:15Speaker 3: If they do cause drama, it has nothing to do
- 35:17Speaker 3: with me, or they called drama with each other. So
- 35:21Speaker 3: I've been very lucky that way.
- 35:23Speaker 4: So that's where that's why I kind of felt bad
- 35:26Speaker 4: for Hither because I was like, oh, God.
- 35:29Speaker 1: Like she just like what did I think Emily took
- 35:31Speaker 1: it too far?
- 35:32Speaker 4: Yes, that was at one point I was like, land
- 35:36Speaker 4: the plane, Yeah, shade plane, Okay.
- 35:38Speaker 1: This is like, this is where if Shane was there,
- 35:42Speaker 1: he would have taken her out. He would have been like,
- 35:43Speaker 1: we're going home.
- 35:47Speaker 4: Exactly. Yeah. I love you, Emily, but you definitely showed
- 35:52Speaker 4: out and acted out.
- 35:54Speaker 2: And the good news about Emily acting out was it
- 35:57Speaker 2: means that they actually showed the event.
- 36:00Speaker 4: Because that's true, that's true in a small way. Heather
- 36:06Speaker 4: should actually thank Emily because about two minutes into that
- 36:09Speaker 4: scene and you damn well that scene was not gonna
- 36:12Speaker 4: end up on the editing room floor because I was
- 36:14Speaker 4: like cackling at her just being so funny and silver.
- 36:17Speaker 2: Also, Shannon, now that we're now that you've said Shannon's name.
- 36:22Speaker 2: I mo on to Shannon, you don't have a leg
- 36:24Speaker 2: to stand on here, Shannon, like, you.
- 36:28Speaker 1: Could maybe hold up your little colonic stick as a
- 36:31Speaker 1: cane to help you up, but we can not.
- 36:35Speaker 2: You cannot become bitching about Heather. She can't be bitching
- 36:39Speaker 2: about you. You two are a disaster zone at the
- 36:41Speaker 2: moment with each other.
- 36:43Speaker 4: Like, no, Shannon, It's true, It's true. I know. When
- 36:46Speaker 4: Shannon chimed in, I was like, I think you I
- 36:48Speaker 4: want to sit this one now. But I do feel like,
- 36:52Speaker 4: and this is me miss Bailey being like, you know,
- 36:55Speaker 4: just being an impath, if you will. I felt like
- 36:59Speaker 4: Shannon should have came to the event because I feel
- 37:02Speaker 4: like what happens on these shows, you know, whether you
- 37:04Speaker 4: have relationships on and off the show, you know, it's
- 37:07Speaker 4: hard to like like miss those big moments with your
- 37:10Speaker 4: your your TV friends.
- 37:11Speaker 3: You know what I'm saying, because what happens is usually
- 37:14Speaker 3: like in real life, Okay, you just get to not
- 37:17Speaker 3: come and nobody gives a shit, and then you know
- 37:19Speaker 3: you don't actually have to make up with them or
- 37:21Speaker 3: try to come to some kind of peaceful resolution with
- 37:24Speaker 3: them at some point.
- 37:24Speaker 4: But if you're actually working on a show with them.
- 37:26Speaker 3: You know it's gonna come back to bite your ass,
- 37:28Speaker 3: and at the end of the day, you guys are
- 37:29Speaker 3: gonna make up or at least get into a good
- 37:31Speaker 3: place with each other.
- 37:33Speaker 4: And you missed her like big HD, Yeah she could.
- 37:38Speaker 2: What I don't like is that she made it seem
- 37:40Speaker 2: like she was going out of town, but then it
- 37:43Speaker 2: was really that she didn't feel good or whatever it
- 37:45Speaker 2: may be, but did not like you.
- 37:47Speaker 1: Yes, things always come up and you have to cancel, but.
- 37:52Speaker 3: I wouldn't love for her to have said right into
- 37:55Speaker 3: the camera, I don't want to go to this shit. Okay,
- 37:58Speaker 3: I don't like her, and it's a woman right now.
- 38:00Speaker 3: I don't like her right now, but you know what
- 38:02Speaker 3: she's this is something that's important to her. She has
- 38:05Speaker 3: talked about this event. If for no other reason to go,
- 38:08Speaker 3: I need to go so I can understand what it
- 38:10Speaker 3: is a little bit more, you know what I'm saying, Like,
- 38:12Speaker 3: I need to make that money too, be the bigger person,
- 38:15Speaker 3: So I'm gonna go.
- 38:17Speaker 4: Still, I ain't really checking for their heart. We still
- 38:19Speaker 4: need to have a conversation at some point because we're
- 38:22Speaker 4: not where we need to be. But I'm going to
- 38:23Speaker 4: go support her event.
- 38:25Speaker 1: Yeah, that's it. Well then Jen.
- 38:28Speaker 2: Then we cut to Jen takes her mom to meet Ryan.
- 38:31Speaker 2: Ryan brings up that he was not faithful and he
- 38:33Speaker 2: wishes he could undo it. Another bit of information I
- 38:37Speaker 2: could have used was that Ryan met his ex wife
- 38:41Speaker 2: when he was thirteen years.
- 38:42Speaker 4: Old cheated on our spouse and said we mete oh no,
- 38:50Speaker 4: that was so young, especially for a guy. I thought
- 38:53Speaker 4: that was very pertinent information to have had, you know,
- 38:57Speaker 4: as we like slay him on the regular.
- 38:59Speaker 1: You know, if you could have known who I would
- 39:02Speaker 1: have picked at thirteen for the rest of my life,
- 39:08Speaker 1: I can't.
- 39:09Speaker 2: His name was Jamie, so I had to throw you out.
- 39:11Speaker 2: But he was four years older. My parents got mad
- 39:15Speaker 2: because he was trying to grow weed outside of my
- 39:17Speaker 2: beds bedroom patio and they were like.
- 39:23Speaker 1: You can't date this boy. We're not interested. We found
- 39:27Speaker 1: him growing some kind of pot leave outside, Like, I
- 39:30Speaker 1: don't know where you are, Jamie, but you're not what
- 39:33Speaker 1: I would have picked at my current age.
- 39:35Speaker 4: Listen, thirteen is young.
- 39:37Speaker 3: I think both people, both parties would have cheated on
- 39:40Speaker 3: each other several times if they met and married, and
- 39:43Speaker 3: like they had they had they been together.
- 39:45Speaker 4: So long, that's that's kind of crazy. So for me,
- 39:48Speaker 4: what I do like, I love that Ryan just jumped
- 39:50Speaker 4: in and just told Jian's mom at the gate, hey,
- 39:52Speaker 4: let's go ahead and dress the elephant in the room.
- 39:54Speaker 4: I cheat it. I cheat it. Yeah, you know, I
- 39:56Speaker 4: feel bad about it. I get mere super young. I
- 39:58Speaker 4: appreciated that, and I actually Ryan was being very authentic
- 40:01Speaker 4: in the scene personally, I did.
- 40:03Speaker 1: I do too. I wish that he kind of met
- 40:07Speaker 1: the other women with the same tone.
- 40:12Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, because I think he kind of made too
- 40:15Speaker 2: many jokes about it with them, And granted the jokes
- 40:17Speaker 2: are you get out of feeling uncomfortable. Two ways you're
- 40:21Speaker 2: either authentic you lie or three ways you're authentic, you lie,
- 40:24Speaker 2: or you make a joke to make it lighter. But
- 40:26Speaker 2: I do think had he given more information, it would
- 40:29Speaker 2: have been easier for me to understand. But then Kristen
- 40:34Speaker 2: says she's worried about Ryan taking on Jen's five kids.
- 40:37Speaker 2: She says that Will was a great husband, and Jen
- 40:39Speaker 2: says that he's a great dad and wants her to
- 40:42Speaker 2: stop bringing up Well, yeah, are we.
- 40:45Speaker 1: Ever going to see Will? You think it'd be nice
- 40:49Speaker 1: to talk about I mean he lives in Ladera Ranch allegedly,
- 40:55Speaker 1: so I he's being talked about a lot, like what
- 41:00Speaker 1: is the actual rules? Like how many times can you
- 41:02Speaker 1: mention somebody's same one thousand big scene?
- 41:05Speaker 3: And you know what, just it for no other reason,
- 41:07Speaker 3: Teddy to see the family dynamic or how they are
- 41:11Speaker 3: parenting their kids still throughout all of this, Like I
- 41:14Speaker 3: love to see, like, you know, I would love to
- 41:16Speaker 3: see him come and pick up the kids and take them.
- 41:18Speaker 3: You know, they they always go on a boat ride
- 41:20Speaker 3: in Orange County. Take them on a boat ride or whatever.
- 41:22Speaker 1: Yeah, take them on a boat ride, TONOBU. Just don't
- 41:24Speaker 1: throw napkins at each.
- 41:25Speaker 4: Other's faces exactly. Yeah. I think it would kind of
- 41:31Speaker 4: round things out a little bit for us and help
- 41:33Speaker 4: us understand, you know a little bit more what's what's happening,
- 41:37Speaker 4: because then maybe we could see that Jen and you know,
- 41:40Speaker 4: Will just don't have that kind of chemistry that she
- 41:42Speaker 4: has with Brine. I don't know.
- 41:44Speaker 1: I mean, yeah, I need to see a little bit.
- 41:46Speaker 1: And clearly, if you're letting if this was a home
- 41:49Speaker 1: that you guys wance shared and you still have your
- 41:52Speaker 1: stuff there, then he's obviously find the stilling. Is this
- 41:56Speaker 1: stuff still currently there, you think at this current moment, No,
- 42:02Speaker 1: but during filming? Yeah, yeah, Oh she doesn't. I don't
- 42:07Speaker 1: believe that she lives in that home any longer.
- 42:11Speaker 4: Oh okay, that's new beginnings.
- 42:14Speaker 1: New beginnings, and now that I love that. I'm really
- 42:18Speaker 1: focused on this pod today.
- 42:20Speaker 2: But I started googling Ryan's jackets why we've been talking,
- 42:24Speaker 2: And at this point, I've decided Ryan's just trolling us
- 42:27Speaker 2: with these jackets because.
- 42:30Speaker 1: Does he make them himself? Does he do his own patchwork,
- 42:35Speaker 1: like run an Etsy shop?
- 42:37Speaker 3: He's gonna have the labst lab to come up with
- 42:39Speaker 3: a jacket line watch and see you heard it here
- 42:41Speaker 3: first for men and women.
- 42:44Speaker 4: So you can make sure we get buy one. Because
- 42:45Speaker 4: we've talked so much about his clothes.
- 42:48Speaker 1: Ryan, send one to us. We promise you we will
- 42:51Speaker 1: wear it on the pod. Hell, we'll wear to Bravo Con.
- 42:55Speaker 4: That would be amazing, all right.
- 42:58Speaker 3: I'm like, I'm like, in jacket. If it's a men's jacket,
- 43:01Speaker 3: I'll take a medium. If it's a women's jacket, I'll
- 43:03Speaker 3: take a large. But in any case, I would love
- 43:06Speaker 3: one of his jackets.
- 43:07Speaker 1: I would love that. I'd love I'd be fine with
- 43:09Speaker 1: a pair of fake Gucci slides, let's.
- 43:12Speaker 4: Do they were not a faddy. Stop now you're just
- 43:19Speaker 4: making it worse. Those Guccie slides were real. They had
- 43:23Speaker 4: to be, Like, you cannot.
- 43:24Speaker 3: Pull off a jacket like that with fake Guccie slides,
- 43:27Speaker 3: Like everything else has to be Everything has to be real,
- 43:29Speaker 3: even if it's not.
- 43:32Speaker 4: But let it be real.
- 43:34Speaker 1: It's not.
- 43:38Speaker 4: Tears.
- 43:40Speaker 1: I mean, here's saying.
- 43:41Speaker 2: I have a husband who went and bought one of
- 43:43Speaker 2: those ridiculous Cardier.
- 43:46Speaker 1: Rings that's actually like the lion with the mouth open,
- 43:49Speaker 1: like remember the one, Yes, And he spent a shit
- 43:52Speaker 1: ton of fucking money on it. It was a real one,
- 43:55Speaker 1: And honestly, I still whenever I see that box, I
- 43:59Speaker 1: have a little bit of hate and I'm like, what
- 44:02Speaker 1: made you think this was a necessary purchase? One and
- 44:07Speaker 1: two you don't fucking wear it?
- 44:10Speaker 2: Yeah, in that instance, I wish I would have bought
- 44:13Speaker 2: him a fake one so he would have at least
- 44:15Speaker 2: gotten his rocks off with this ridiculous ring that he's
- 44:18Speaker 2: never worn, freaking.
- 44:20Speaker 1: Diamond eyes lion like.
- 44:23Speaker 3: But he should probably just sell it if he's not
- 44:25Speaker 3: gonna wear it, Because if I made that purchase. I
- 44:28Speaker 3: would you would be so sick of me wearing that ring.
- 44:32Speaker 1: You would have attach it to your sunglasses right now, just.
- 44:34Speaker 4: As still on it. Oh, I would be like coming
- 44:37Speaker 4: and leading with the ring person, be like here comes
- 44:40Speaker 4: Cynthia and damn party ring again. Like you'd be like
- 44:42Speaker 4: they would be trolling on social media. Take it off?
- 44:45Speaker 1: Like take it off. Then we, of course we get
- 44:49Speaker 1: to where the planned trip is to Mexico. They always
- 44:52Speaker 1: go to Mexico.
- 44:54Speaker 4: I know, I feel like we're okay, they were at
- 44:56Speaker 4: a ranch, but I feel like, what do I feel like?
- 44:58Speaker 4: They go to Mexico at.
- 45:00Speaker 1: Because every year that's where their cast trip is. I'm like,
- 45:03Speaker 1: what is it that. I mean, it's the same production
- 45:06Speaker 1: company as Beverly Hills, and we went on different trips
- 45:09Speaker 1: every single time. So I'm wondering what OC did to
- 45:12Speaker 1: piss them off that they get one.
- 45:15Speaker 4: But as a non cast member of OC, I vote
- 45:17Speaker 4: to take Mexico off the trip.
- 45:19Speaker 1: Listen, it doesn't go well for them.
- 45:22Speaker 3: No, and they have tequila everywhere, like they're always excited
- 45:25Speaker 3: about tequila, but they actually drink quite a bit in
- 45:27Speaker 3: Orange County as they don't need to go to Mexico
- 45:30Speaker 3: to drink tequila.
- 45:31Speaker 1: They're always dringing it. And truthfully, Shannon didn't seem ill
- 45:34Speaker 1: anymore when she started pounding that tequila. I was like, oh,
- 45:38Speaker 1: she's not ill. But either way, then this is where
- 45:44Speaker 1: Heather says Emily has been unkind to her for weeks.
- 45:48Speaker 1: Emily says that Heather told her to shut the fuck
- 45:50Speaker 1: up and eat her food. I don't know that Heather
- 45:52Speaker 1: necessarily said it like that.
- 45:54Speaker 4: No, this is what she said. She said, why don't
- 45:56Speaker 4: she just eat her food and shut it up? She
- 45:58Speaker 4: didn't say the book part.
- 45:59Speaker 2: I think she said, why the fuck doesn't she just
- 46:02Speaker 2: eat her food and shut up? I don't think it
- 46:04Speaker 2: was shut the fuck up. Shut the fuck up makes
- 46:07Speaker 2: it worse.
- 46:08Speaker 4: I have to I have to roll back to tape
- 46:09Speaker 4: because I don't think fuck was in it at all.
- 46:11Speaker 1: I think she said she might be too classy to
- 46:13Speaker 1: say fun.
- 46:14Speaker 4: Yeah, she did say fuck.
- 46:17Speaker 1: She didn say our producers like she did say fuck.
- 46:20Speaker 1: Never mind ding ding ding. I hate being right SyncE there,
- 46:23Speaker 1: but I was.
- 46:24Speaker 4: Okay, she did say fuck. All right, well she said
- 46:27Speaker 4: it all right?
- 46:28Speaker 1: Fuck it now. This podcast is marked with asterisks and
- 46:31Speaker 1: it's explicit so fuck y'all.
- 46:35Speaker 4: The fuck she said it?
- 46:36Speaker 3: Okay anyway, all right, so yeah so but but but
- 46:41Speaker 3: now Emily was acting out the entire time.
- 46:46Speaker 4: So at this point, if Heather did say, just eat up,
- 46:50Speaker 4: like I'm not even mad at like, just how since
- 46:54Speaker 4: the food wasn't that great according to Emily, don't eat
- 46:57Speaker 4: the food.
- 46:58Speaker 1: Just don't how about just shut the fuck up? But
- 47:03Speaker 1: then Heather says Emily is a shitty friend, and Emily
- 47:05Speaker 1: says Heather gets to be pretentious and self centered and
- 47:09Speaker 1: everyone just has to accept it. Do you think Emily
- 47:12Speaker 1: or Heather both have points here? Who do you side with?
- 47:15Speaker 1: I mean, if I was gonna hang.
- 47:17Speaker 2: Out with one person, it definitely would be Emily. But
- 47:20Speaker 2: in the same token as you said earlier, Howether there
- 47:23Speaker 2: doesn't mean to be pretentious. She's just richer than everybody else.
- 47:27Speaker 4: And everybody else it's just rich people's stuff.
- 47:29Speaker 3: Like rich people just say stuff because they're just rich
- 47:32Speaker 3: and they don't know that they're like insensitive. I don't
- 47:35Speaker 3: think Heather's intentionally like trying to play up her richness.
- 47:39Speaker 3: I just think she's rich and she's really good at
- 47:41Speaker 3: being rich.
- 47:44Speaker 1: She's really good at pissing people off and being rich.
- 47:47Speaker 1: But I am curious to see where this season will
- 47:49Speaker 1: go from here, because I do think we are starting
- 47:53Speaker 1: to see a turn where none of the women are
- 47:56Speaker 1: really aligning with Heather.
- 47:58Speaker 4: I am noticing that.
- 48:00Speaker 2: I mean the fact that even ship people are agreeing
- 48:03Speaker 2: with Shannon over Heather at this point.
- 48:07Speaker 1: I'm like, Channa, jump ship, You're in a bad place.
- 48:13Speaker 4: I know, it's interesting. It does feel like Heather's starting
- 48:17Speaker 4: to be, as we say, on an island a little
- 48:19Speaker 4: bit rich.
- 48:21Speaker 1: I want to be on the island. They're on the
- 48:23Speaker 1: rich island, but you don't.
- 48:26Speaker 4: Richard Branson's island. It's rather Richard Branson's island. But it's
- 48:31Speaker 4: an island all the same.
- 48:32Speaker 1: Okay, it feels it's starting to feel like fire island
- 48:36Speaker 1: or a hell.
- 48:40Speaker 3: I hate that for Heather because Teddy, you know, there's
- 48:43Speaker 3: nothing worse than being on an island by yourself, and
- 48:49Speaker 3: you know, like people are just like I mean, even
- 48:52Speaker 3: the fact that when they talked about the Mexico trip, like, oh,
- 48:55Speaker 3: I think that's next episode.
- 48:56Speaker 4: I think I've watched the preview, and like she was
- 48:58Speaker 4: the last one to get picked for.
- 49:00Speaker 1: Room, Like I know, it sucks much child It's like
- 49:03Speaker 1: that time when I was out on Celebrity Big Brother
- 49:06Speaker 1: and Cynthia had already picked a roommate before I got there.
- 49:09Speaker 1: I fucking hated it. I can't.
- 49:14Speaker 4: My one goal was to not make any decisions, like
- 49:16Speaker 4: early on in the Big Brother House and literally I
- 49:19Speaker 4: walked in the door and Carson was like, do you
- 49:21Speaker 4: want to be into the alliance? And I was like absolutely.
- 49:23Speaker 1: I was like, shit, fine, it's fine. I fine. Lamar
- 49:28Speaker 1: was a great hallmate, I know, Oh my goodness.
- 49:34Speaker 3: But like going back to that moment, like you were
- 49:36Speaker 3: get rid of talking about Like for me, I selecked
- 49:38Speaker 3: at everything in high school, like in middle school, preschool,
- 49:42Speaker 3: kindergarten probably too, Like I was never picked first for anything.
- 49:45Speaker 3: So you know, you do have that moment where you're
- 49:47Speaker 3: deciding in our rooms and it feels nice for, you know,
- 49:50Speaker 3: for your name to come up like a little quicker
- 49:51Speaker 3: than like, oh well, okay, well we want everyone except Cynthia.
- 49:56Speaker 4: So I guess Cynthia, you can just go that.
- 50:00Speaker 1: But the point is, Cynthia, at some point you have
- 50:03Speaker 1: to make an effort off camera. If you're only showing
- 50:07Speaker 1: up on camera to show your products, to show your
- 50:10Speaker 1: lifestyle to show what you want people to see. But
- 50:14Speaker 1: off camera, you're not there and you're not the friend.
- 50:16Speaker 1: You're not going to get picked for a room. That's true,
- 50:19Speaker 1: and unfortunately it does suck. I mean I unfortunately would
- 50:24Speaker 1: get picked for rooms.
- 50:25Speaker 2: But also people wouldn't want to watch me on the
- 50:27Speaker 2: show sometimes, so you don't get to win them all.
- 50:31Speaker 2: But I do think that like people are seeing a
- 50:36Speaker 2: side of her where they're like, we need you to
