And here, [5] 00:00:11.860 --> 00:00:13.200 gifted souls step up to the mic, [6] 00:00:13.700 --> 00:00:14.680 sharing their spiritual journey. [7] 00:00:15.180 --> 00:00:16.400 We're hitting the high notes and [8] 00:00:16.900 --> 00:00:17.440 the low notes of their [9] 00:00:17.940 --> 00:00:19.360 awakening, creating a symphony [10] 00:00:19.860 --> 00:00:21.240 of enlightenment. This isn't [11] 00:00:21.740 --> 00:00:22.480 just another interview show. [12] 00:00:22.980 --> 00:00:24.120 This is where divine insights [13] 00:00:24.620 --> 00:00:25.840 are channeled and universal [14] 00:00:26.340 --> 00:00:28.360 truths are revealed. So crank up [15] 00:00:28.860 --> 00:00:29.840 your stereo and sit back, [16] 00:00:30.340 --> 00:00:31.360 because who knows? This just [18] 00:00:33.480 --> 00:00:34.620 transformative chapter of your [19] 00:00:35.120 --> 00:00:36.620 soul's purpose. Are you ready? [20] 00:00:37.100 --> 00:00:39.140 Let's go. Hi, everyone, and [21] 00:00:39.640 --> 00:00:40.340 welcome back to the Drop the [22] 00:00:40.840 --> 00:00:41.820 Needle Podcast. I'm your host, [23] 00:00:41.980 --> 00:00:44.300 Jim Alstott, and I am so happy [24] 00:00:44.800 --> 00:00:47.180 all decided to join us. Well, [25] 00:00:47.420 --> 00:00:51.100 today we have someone on here [26] 00:00:51.600 --> 00:00:55.220 that is, I would say, one of [27] 00:00:55.720 --> 00:00:58.020 the most fascinating individuals [28] 00:00:58.520 --> 00:00:59.020 from a conversational [29] 00:00:59.630 --> 00:01:01.030 perspective that I can, I can [30] 00:01:01.530 --> 00:01:03.990 think of. Because this [31] 00:01:04.490 --> 00:01:06.350 gentleman, Graham Skidmore, [32] 00:01:07.390 --> 00:01:11.870 [33] 00:01:12.370 --> 00:01:14.310 he is, it's at the intersection [34] 00:01:14.810 --> 00:01:16.270 of spirituality, consciousness, [35] 00:01:16.750 --> 00:01:19.790 and the very human of ex. [36] 00:01:20.290 --> 00:01:21.510 You know, experience of trying [37] 00:01:22.010 --> 00:01:23.110 to figure out what the heck [38] 00:01:23.610 --> 00:01:24.590 we're all doing here right [39] 00:01:25.770 --> 00:01:28.570 today. The guest, Graham [40] 00:01:29.070 --> 00:01:31.410 Skidmore, has spent over two [41] 00:01:31.910 --> 00:01:32.770 decades as a high powered [42] 00:01:33.270 --> 00:01:34.330 executive at Rocket Mortgage, [43] 00:01:34.730 --> 00:01:36.250 helping build one of the most [44] 00:01:36.330 --> 00:01:38.210 influential marketing machines [45] 00:01:38.710 --> 00:01:40.450 in corporate America. He had the [46] 00:01:40.950 --> 00:01:43.810 title, the successes, the whole [47] 00:01:44.310 --> 00:01:46.890 package. And then something [49] 00:01:51.150 --> 00:01:51.490 the shoulder and said, hey, [50] 00:01:51.990 --> 00:01:53.440 buddy, there's something else [51] 00:01:53.940 --> 00:01:56.080 for you. He listened. And today, [52] 00:01:56.240 --> 00:01:57.920 Graham Skidmore is a thought [53] 00:01:58.420 --> 00:02:00.400 leader in ethical AI, personal [54] 00:02:00.480 --> 00:02:02.560 sovereignty, and what he calls [55] 00:02:02.800 --> 00:02:05.320 conscious systems. The idea that [56] 00:02:05.820 --> 00:02:07.000 technology, community, and human [57] 00:02:07.500 --> 00:02:08.400 potential can actually work [58] 00:02:08.900 --> 00:02:10.080 together instead of against each [59] 00:02:10.580 --> 00:02:13.240 other. So let's just get to it, [60] 00:02:13.740 --> 00:02:16.640 shall we? Please welcome Graham [61] 00:02:16.720 --> 00:02:18.160 Skidmore. Hey, Graham. [62] 00:02:31.620 --> 00:02:32.740 Life. And it's still interesting [63] 00:02:33.240 --> 00:02:33.620 to be seen different, [65] 00:02:35.520 --> 00:02:36.060 the corporate life, right? So [66] 00:02:36.560 --> 00:02:37.460 anytime somebody picks up on [67] 00:02:37.960 --> 00:02:38.620 share something that they picked [68] 00:02:39.120 --> 00:02:40.060 up about me, it's like, all [69] 00:02:40.560 --> 00:02:41.060 right, so I'm being seen a [70] 00:02:41.560 --> 00:02:41.780 little differently. This is [71] 00:02:42.280 --> 00:02:42.980 cool. I appreciate that. You [72] 00:02:43.480 --> 00:02:46.580 know, that's me. Yeah, [73] 00:02:47.400 --> 00:02:48.800 no, that's. You know what, I get [74] 00:02:49.300 --> 00:02:50.600 it. Because you know what that [75] 00:02:51.100 --> 00:02:52.600 reminds me of is if you knew [76] 00:02:53.100 --> 00:02:54.840 somebody, let's say from the [77] 00:02:55.340 --> 00:02:56.000 town that you grew up in, and [78] 00:02:56.500 --> 00:02:58.440 you grew up in a small town and [79] 00:02:59.000 --> 00:03:03.079 [80] 00:03:03.320 --> 00:03:04.800 you know, or whatever, you know, [81] 00:03:05.300 --> 00:03:06.680 they could put Phil in anything, [82] 00:03:07.080 --> 00:03:09.920 or Jimmer, Jimmy Allstad, [83] 00:03:10.420 --> 00:03:11.200 who, blah, blah, blah, blah, [84] 00:03:11.700 --> 00:03:13.830 blah, and that's what they [85] 00:03:14.330 --> 00:03:15.430 remember you as. That's how they [86] 00:03:15.930 --> 00:03:17.550 identify you and label you, is [87] 00:03:18.050 --> 00:03:19.110 that person that you used to be, [88] 00:03:19.430 --> 00:03:21.190 never giving you the opportunity [89] 00:03:21.990 --> 00:03:24.470 to change to develop, to evolve [90] 00:03:24.550 --> 00:03:27.270 into who and what you are today. [91] 00:03:27.430 --> 00:03:28.870 So it's. I always find that [92] 00:03:29.510 --> 00:03:31.270 interesting. Certainly limiting, [93] 00:03:31.750 --> 00:03:35.070 but. Absolutely. But only [94] 00:03:35.570 --> 00:03:37.670 to them, not to you. So why [96] 00:03:41.720 --> 00:03:43.560 talk about back when you grew [97] 00:03:44.060 --> 00:03:45.360 up. Why don't you tell us a [98] 00:03:45.860 --> 00:03:47.160 little bit about that? Yeah, [99] 00:03:47.660 --> 00:03:48.200 well, I won't back up the bus [100] 00:03:48.700 --> 00:03:49.480 all the way to when I was a kid. [101] 00:03:50.200 --> 00:03:52.960 No, hey, you do you. You do [102] 00:03:53.460 --> 00:03:54.800 whatever you need to do. Yeah. [103] 00:03:55.300 --> 00:03:56.520 So I'll try to do a, you know, [104] 00:03:57.240 --> 00:03:59.680 a quick overview. So I'm trying [105] 00:04:00.180 --> 00:04:00.880 to make a quick overview, and [106] 00:04:01.380 --> 00:04:02.240 then we'll see what kind of, [107] 00:04:02.740 --> 00:04:03.360 you know, questions that sparks [108] 00:04:03.860 --> 00:04:04.800 and we're going to. And we'll [109] 00:04:05.300 --> 00:04:06.170 ride the bus. You're together. [110] 00:04:07.050 --> 00:04:08.130 Yeah. So like you mentioned, [112] 00:04:09.830 --> 00:04:11.290 of my life, you know, playing [113] 00:04:11.790 --> 00:04:12.130 the game the way that I was [114] 00:04:12.630 --> 00:04:15.410 taught. You know, I was brought [115] 00:04:15.910 --> 00:04:17.010 up that, you know, as a. As a [116] 00:04:17.510 --> 00:04:18.970 male, your value is what you can [117] 00:04:19.470 --> 00:04:20.490 provide. You know, you need to [118] 00:04:20.990 --> 00:04:21.330 be the cornerstone of the [119] 00:04:21.830 --> 00:04:22.810 family, you know, pretty much, [120] 00:04:23.310 --> 00:04:24.130 you know, suck it up, do your [121] 00:04:24.630 --> 00:04:25.210 thing, and do what you got to [122] 00:04:25.710 --> 00:04:26.210 do, because that's just how the [123] 00:04:26.710 --> 00:04:29.370 world is. And, you know, figure [124] 00:04:29.870 --> 00:04:30.170 out how to, you know, how to [125] 00:04:30.670 --> 00:04:31.370 make money and be a provider. [126] 00:04:31.790 --> 00:04:33.750 [127] 00:04:34.250 --> 00:04:35.350 know, whatever it was, 22 years, [128] 00:04:35.850 --> 00:04:36.830 21 years, you know, in the [129] 00:04:37.330 --> 00:04:38.110 corporate life, where that's was [130] 00:04:38.610 --> 00:04:39.590 literally my identity, who I [131] 00:04:40.090 --> 00:04:41.030 was, what I was, I didn't [132] 00:04:41.530 --> 00:04:42.750 understand myself as anything [133] 00:04:43.250 --> 00:04:44.670 besides, you know, a normal, [134] 00:04:45.170 --> 00:04:45.990 albeit quirky kind of guy. [135] 00:04:46.490 --> 00:04:47.190 Right. Or I just. And I didn't [136] 00:04:47.690 --> 00:04:48.950 recognize that, you know, and I [137] 00:04:49.450 --> 00:04:50.030 just recognized that for [138] 00:04:50.530 --> 00:04:51.070 whatever reason, certain things [139] 00:04:51.570 --> 00:04:52.230 weren't as inherent to me as [140] 00:04:52.730 --> 00:04:53.910 they were to others. And I [141] 00:04:54.410 --> 00:04:55.110 couldn't intuitively navigate [143] 00:04:58.280 --> 00:04:59.240 But, you know, aside from some [144] 00:04:59.740 --> 00:05:00.080 of that, though. But like, if [145] 00:05:00.580 --> 00:05:01.560 you're trying to say this, you [146] 00:05:02.060 --> 00:05:02.640 know, this, this ties in, but. [147] 00:05:03.140 --> 00:05:03.560 Right. But when you're quote, [148] 00:05:04.060 --> 00:05:04.840 unquote, successful according to [149] 00:05:05.340 --> 00:05:06.400 the status quo, you get caught a [150] 00:05:06.900 --> 00:05:07.680 lot of breaks. Or you also, you [151] 00:05:08.180 --> 00:05:08.640 know, look, you feed yourself [152] 00:05:09.140 --> 00:05:10.520 your own bs. You're like, well, [153] 00:05:11.020 --> 00:05:11.240 that's just because I understand [154] 00:05:11.740 --> 00:05:12.080 things differently than other [155] 00:05:12.580 --> 00:05:13.520 people. So you. You make [156] 00:05:14.020 --> 00:05:14.800 yourself feel better sometimes [157] 00:05:15.300 --> 00:05:15.840 by boosting yourself up, [159] 00:05:17.780 --> 00:05:18.840 hubris or by being shallow. [160] 00:05:19.340 --> 00:05:20.160 Right. And so I definitely have [161] 00:05:20.660 --> 00:05:20.800 plenty of that. So I said, [162] 00:05:21.300 --> 00:05:21.720 yeah, they just can't follow [163] 00:05:22.220 --> 00:05:22.960 along with me. Right. They just [164] 00:05:23.460 --> 00:05:25.700 don't get it. Right. So. And, [165] 00:05:26.200 --> 00:05:27.140 you know, like you and I talked [166] 00:05:27.640 --> 00:05:28.300 about before on a pre call, you [167] 00:05:28.800 --> 00:05:30.620 know, through 2018, 2020, I [168] 00:05:31.120 --> 00:05:31.420 definitely went through my own [169] 00:05:31.920 --> 00:05:32.580 kind of a way. I never [170] 00:05:33.080 --> 00:05:33.780 understood myself as, like I [171] 00:05:34.280 --> 00:05:34.860 said anything but kind of just, [172] 00:05:35.360 --> 00:05:36.500 you know, normal, albeit a [173] 00:05:37.000 --> 00:05:39.780 [174] 00:05:40.280 --> 00:05:42.420 know, in 2018, you know, [175] 00:05:42.660 --> 00:05:44.780 spirit, universe, creator, God, [176] 00:05:45.280 --> 00:05:45.500 whatever, some, you know, [177] 00:05:46.000 --> 00:05:46.700 however, somebody, you know, [178] 00:05:47.200 --> 00:05:48.220 recognizes, you know, more than [179] 00:05:48.720 --> 00:05:50.710 us, decided that I wasn't moving [180] 00:05:51.210 --> 00:05:51.990 fast enough. Right. To move on [181] 00:05:52.490 --> 00:05:53.230 to this next chapter of my life. [182] 00:05:53.790 --> 00:05:56.630 Yeah, a lot. Yeah. You know, [183] 00:05:57.130 --> 00:05:59.350 and so, you know, and so a [184] 00:05:59.850 --> 00:06:00.350 company and a career that I [185] 00:06:00.850 --> 00:06:01.310 thought I'd never leave. All of [186] 00:06:01.810 --> 00:06:03.710 a sudden, you know. You know, I [187] 00:06:04.210 --> 00:06:05.389 left, you know, and it was, you [188] 00:06:05.889 --> 00:06:06.310 know, and it was a, you know, [190] 00:06:07.970 --> 00:06:09.030 mean, it was on good terms, but [191] 00:06:09.530 --> 00:06:10.030 not necessarily good terms [192] 00:06:10.530 --> 00:06:10.830 because it wasn't, you know, [193] 00:06:11.330 --> 00:06:11.670 the way that I would have wanted [194] 00:06:12.170 --> 00:06:12.670 things to end. Right. I would [195] 00:06:13.170 --> 00:06:15.590 have. Sure, sure. And so, you [196] 00:06:16.090 --> 00:06:17.310 know, it was just both were kind [197] 00:06:17.810 --> 00:06:18.110 of like, hey, this isn't, you [198] 00:06:18.610 --> 00:06:19.070 know, working, you know, at the [199] 00:06:19.570 --> 00:06:20.110 height of my success. It was at [200] 00:06:20.610 --> 00:06:21.060 the height of my misery. So I'm [201] 00:06:21.210 --> 00:06:21.890 like, something's got to be [202] 00:06:22.390 --> 00:06:23.370 wrong. I did what people said I [203] 00:06:23.870 --> 00:06:24.530 was supposed to do, right. I [204] 00:06:25.030 --> 00:06:25.730 checked these boxes, and I feel [206] 00:06:28.190 --> 00:06:29.010 give. I'm not willing to go back [207] 00:06:29.510 --> 00:06:30.850 into the corporate and make the [208] 00:06:31.350 --> 00:06:31.890 changes and be all these other [209] 00:06:32.390 --> 00:06:33.290 things to try to fit in and keep [210] 00:06:33.790 --> 00:06:34.450 staying on this rodeo. This [211] 00:06:34.950 --> 00:06:35.770 horse is bucked me enough times. [212] 00:06:35.930 --> 00:06:37.690 It hurts. I'm. I want to go play [213] 00:06:38.190 --> 00:06:39.130 another game. So I said, all [214] 00:06:39.630 --> 00:06:40.050 right, let me step away from [215] 00:06:40.550 --> 00:06:41.930 this. And I then went to [216] 00:06:42.430 --> 00:06:42.850 understand myself through some [217] 00:06:43.350 --> 00:06:43.730 different lenses, right? The [218] 00:06:44.230 --> 00:06:44.570 first thing I was like, all [219] 00:06:45.070 --> 00:06:46.050 right, I feel like crap. You [220] 00:06:46.550 --> 00:06:47.660 [221] 00:06:48.160 --> 00:06:49.020 body hurts, my head hurts, my [222] 00:06:49.520 --> 00:06:50.100 emotions hurt. Right? Like, [223] 00:06:50.600 --> 00:06:51.020 I'm, you know, I'm not digging, [224] 00:06:51.520 --> 00:06:51.700 you know, like, I know I'm a [225] 00:06:52.200 --> 00:06:52.500 good person, but why aren't I [226] 00:06:53.000 --> 00:06:53.460 loving my life? And why aren't I [227] 00:06:53.960 --> 00:06:54.380 loving who I see in the mirror? [228] 00:06:54.880 --> 00:06:56.260 Right, so. Well, because it was [229] 00:06:56.760 --> 00:06:57.780 also a successful time for you [230] 00:06:58.280 --> 00:07:00.140 in. In what society views as [231] 00:07:00.640 --> 00:07:01.900 being a success. Right. So why [232] 00:07:02.400 --> 00:07:03.820 aren't you happy? Yeah. Why are [233] 00:07:04.320 --> 00:07:05.380 you rocking it? And so I'm [234] 00:07:05.880 --> 00:07:06.300 thinking, all right, you know, [235] 00:07:06.800 --> 00:07:07.020 look at this point in time, [237] 00:07:08.360 --> 00:07:09.780 antidepressants and ADHD meds [238] 00:07:10.280 --> 00:07:10.580 and, you know, variety of [239] 00:07:11.080 --> 00:07:11.540 things, trying to, you know, [240] 00:07:11.700 --> 00:07:12.940 numb this stuff up and, you [241] 00:07:13.440 --> 00:07:15.550 know. Yes. Right. And, you know, [242] 00:07:15.710 --> 00:07:16.830 at that time, you know, booze [243] 00:07:17.330 --> 00:07:18.750 was, you know, was my thing. [244] 00:07:18.990 --> 00:07:21.710 And so, anyway, I then went to [245] 00:07:22.210 --> 00:07:22.790 understand myself, you know, [246] 00:07:23.290 --> 00:07:23.590 more through a, you know, [247] 00:07:24.090 --> 00:07:24.550 health and wellness Western [248] 00:07:25.050 --> 00:07:26.310 lens. And so I went and received [249] 00:07:26.810 --> 00:07:27.350 diagnoses as being [250] 00:07:27.850 --> 00:07:29.630 neurodivergent. And while I [251] 00:07:30.130 --> 00:07:30.390 don't identify with these [253] 00:07:31.850 --> 00:07:32.430 any labels, for that matter. So [254] 00:07:32.930 --> 00:07:33.430 it's not like I'm rejecting [255] 00:07:33.930 --> 00:07:34.310 anything. I just am not going to [256] 00:07:34.810 --> 00:07:37.030 be boxed in. Sure. But it's, [257] 00:07:37.530 --> 00:07:38.150 you know, it's important for the [258] 00:07:38.650 --> 00:07:39.870 story and relatability. So I [259] 00:07:40.370 --> 00:07:41.790 went and I was diagnosed with. [260] 00:07:41.950 --> 00:07:44.520 As autistic, adhd, [261] 00:07:44.920 --> 00:07:47.320 dyslexic mass, dyscalculia, [262] 00:07:47.560 --> 00:07:49.800 math, dyslexia, alexithymia, [263] 00:07:49.880 --> 00:07:51.160 these glasses, which is, you [264] 00:07:51.660 --> 00:07:52.480 know, Erlin syndrome. I think [265] 00:07:52.980 --> 00:07:53.240 there's like one or two others. [266] 00:07:53.740 --> 00:07:54.120 I was like, all right, I'm cool. [267] 00:07:54.620 --> 00:07:55.480 [268] 00:07:55.980 --> 00:07:56.800 enough. I got enough to go on [269] 00:07:57.300 --> 00:07:58.560 right there, you know. Okay, [270] 00:07:59.060 --> 00:08:00.280 time out, time out. Right. So [271] 00:08:00.780 --> 00:08:01.080 then I spent the time [272] 00:08:01.580 --> 00:08:02.680 understanding myself, you know, [273] 00:08:03.240 --> 00:08:04.200 through these. Through the [274] 00:08:04.700 --> 00:08:05.480 neurodivergent lens and [275] 00:08:05.980 --> 00:08:06.640 different traits and [276] 00:08:07.140 --> 00:08:08.760 characteristics, symptoms, and [277] 00:08:08.920 --> 00:08:09.880 in some ways, you know, and it [278] 00:08:10.380 --> 00:08:10.960 was helpful, right, because it [279] 00:08:11.460 --> 00:08:12.520 provided me a new vernacular. [280] 00:08:12.600 --> 00:08:15.190 It allowed me to. To. To. To put [281] 00:08:15.690 --> 00:08:16.470 words to things that I was [282] 00:08:16.970 --> 00:08:17.470 feeling but didn't understand. [284] 00:08:19.410 --> 00:08:19.910 also then had the other effect, [285] 00:08:20.410 --> 00:08:21.190 which was, all right, the same [286] 00:08:21.690 --> 00:08:22.310 way that words can boost us, [287] 00:08:22.810 --> 00:08:23.550 the words can bring us down. So [288] 00:08:24.050 --> 00:08:24.550 the more I started to align [289] 00:08:25.050 --> 00:08:26.830 with, oh, these are my symptoms, [290] 00:08:27.330 --> 00:08:27.870 and this is just how I'm wired, [291] 00:08:28.370 --> 00:08:28.910 the more I became those things, [292] 00:08:29.410 --> 00:08:30.069 right? And so, like, it really [293] 00:08:30.569 --> 00:08:32.350 affected my speech, my. My motor [294] 00:08:32.850 --> 00:08:33.750 skills, all kinds of things I'd [295] 00:08:34.250 --> 00:08:34.830 never had problems with before. [296] 00:08:34.990 --> 00:08:36.470 I started going from, you know, [297] 00:08:36.970 --> 00:08:37.710 feeling confident in the world [298] 00:08:38.210 --> 00:08:39.230 to a lot of fear and anxiety, [300] 00:08:41.170 --> 00:08:41.750 everything until I was like, [301] 00:08:42.250 --> 00:08:45.310 okay, this is crazy. And, you [302] 00:08:45.810 --> 00:08:46.350 know, I don't remember which one [303] 00:08:46.850 --> 00:08:47.950 happened first or second, but I [304] 00:08:48.450 --> 00:08:49.390 had two then things that. That. [305] 00:08:49.890 --> 00:08:50.990 That switched gears for me. One [306] 00:08:51.490 --> 00:08:52.470 was three things. One was that [307] 00:08:52.630 --> 00:08:53.630 thankfully, you know, I'm [308] 00:08:54.130 --> 00:08:54.670 stubborn enough where I'm like, [309] 00:08:55.170 --> 00:08:55.910 this is ridiculous. I didn't [310] 00:08:56.410 --> 00:08:57.230 just become, like, a problem [311] 00:08:57.730 --> 00:08:58.430 overnight. Like, I've got enough [312] 00:08:58.930 --> 00:08:59.710 success and everything else in [313] 00:09:00.210 --> 00:09:00.910 life that there's something else [314] 00:09:01.410 --> 00:09:01.830 [315] 00:09:02.330 --> 00:09:04.030 Right, right. And so I was like, [316] 00:09:04.530 --> 00:09:05.390 I refuse to give up and quit and [317] 00:09:05.890 --> 00:09:06.630 think that, like, my best years [318] 00:09:07.130 --> 00:09:09.190 are behind me. So. So I felt. I [319] 00:09:09.690 --> 00:09:10.190 remember falling down to my [320] 00:09:10.690 --> 00:09:13.250 knees and just for some. Help me [321] 00:09:13.750 --> 00:09:14.210 to bring some happiness in the [322] 00:09:14.710 --> 00:09:15.610 world, because I was very. The [323] 00:09:16.110 --> 00:09:16.610 most fearful thing that I was [324] 00:09:17.110 --> 00:09:17.650 going through at that time was [325] 00:09:18.150 --> 00:09:19.490 that any. I didn't lack access [326] 00:09:19.990 --> 00:09:21.330 to tools. I didn't lack access [327] 00:09:21.830 --> 00:09:22.690 to resources and medical Care. [328] 00:09:23.190 --> 00:09:24.210 What I lacked was people who [329] 00:09:24.710 --> 00:09:24.970 were willing to let me [331] 00:09:26.910 --> 00:09:27.650 tried to put me into their box. [332] 00:09:28.290 --> 00:09:29.490 And just. And the way that I. [333] 00:09:29.990 --> 00:09:30.370 Yeah, go ahead, you're going to [334] 00:09:30.870 --> 00:09:31.450 say something. Yeah, yeah, [335] 00:09:31.950 --> 00:09:33.690 because. So there's a lot to [336] 00:09:34.190 --> 00:09:35.090 unpack with what you're talking [337] 00:09:35.590 --> 00:09:36.170 about. And this is one of those [338] 00:09:36.670 --> 00:09:37.370 things that we were talking [339] 00:09:37.870 --> 00:09:40.860 about earlier. But. So you're [340] 00:09:41.360 --> 00:09:42.460 talking about neurodivergence. [341] 00:09:43.260 --> 00:09:46.740 And I'm curious, looking through [342] 00:09:47.240 --> 00:09:48.460 the lens of, you know, the [343] 00:09:48.960 --> 00:09:51.340 hindsight's 20 20, but do you [344] 00:09:51.840 --> 00:09:54.540 think that the neurodivergence [345] 00:09:55.040 --> 00:09:56.900 was actually one of the things [347] 00:10:01.320 --> 00:10:03.660 you were at Rocket Mortgage and [348] 00:10:03.980 --> 00:10:05.460 also maybe what made you [349] 00:10:05.960 --> 00:10:08.180 incompatible with it after a [350] 00:10:08.680 --> 00:10:11.210 while? Yeah, so that's a good. [351] 00:10:11.710 --> 00:10:12.570 I mean, let me, let me take that [352] 00:10:13.070 --> 00:10:13.690 and segue then into my next [353] 00:10:14.190 --> 00:10:14.650 thing, because you're absolutely [354] 00:10:15.150 --> 00:10:17.650 correct. Right. So there was the [355] 00:10:18.150 --> 00:10:18.930 strengths, you know, which is [356] 00:10:19.430 --> 00:10:20.050 kind of how I understood myself [357] 00:10:21.010 --> 00:10:22.290 through Quicken Loan. Rocket [358] 00:10:22.790 --> 00:10:23.250 Mortgage and things was [359] 00:10:24.610 --> 00:10:27.330 definitely attributed to those [360] 00:10:27.830 --> 00:10:29.850 differences. The second part [361] 00:10:30.350 --> 00:10:30.690 [362] 00:10:31.190 --> 00:10:32.890 understanding that was, you [363] 00:10:33.390 --> 00:10:34.050 know, I needed to understand [364] 00:10:34.550 --> 00:10:36.810 myself. Right. My, my main. [365] 00:10:37.310 --> 00:10:37.850 Well, here, let me. So this, [366] 00:10:38.350 --> 00:10:38.770 the other thing that happened [367] 00:10:39.270 --> 00:10:40.330 was a friend of mine, Jen [368] 00:10:40.410 --> 00:10:42.170 Sunshine. Sunshine Wachowski [369] 00:10:42.670 --> 00:10:43.290 was, she's on a lot of podcasts. [370] 00:10:43.790 --> 00:10:45.370 We similar. Yeah. So okay, [371] 00:10:45.870 --> 00:10:46.770 good. Yeah, the pink hair, the [372] 00:10:47.270 --> 00:10:47.770 pink stared sidekick or [373] 00:10:48.270 --> 00:10:48.810 whatever. Yeah, that's right. [374] 00:10:49.130 --> 00:10:50.410 Yeah. So she worked with me at [375] 00:10:50.910 --> 00:10:51.569 Quicken Loans and at that time [376] 00:10:52.069 --> 00:10:52.610 she was like, she couldn't work. [378] 00:10:54.230 --> 00:10:54.770 difficult and challenging to [379] 00:10:55.270 --> 00:10:57.050 work with that she's like, I [380] 00:10:57.550 --> 00:10:57.850 can't work for you anymore. And [381] 00:10:58.350 --> 00:10:58.730 she went to another area of the [382] 00:10:59.230 --> 00:11:00.650 company. And it wasn't that I [383] 00:11:01.150 --> 00:11:01.650 was so difficult because I [384] 00:11:02.150 --> 00:11:02.610 wanted to control everything, [385] 00:11:03.110 --> 00:11:03.730 but because things didn't make [386] 00:11:04.230 --> 00:11:04.730 sense to me, I had to create my [387] 00:11:05.230 --> 00:11:05.850 own systems to get things to [388] 00:11:06.350 --> 00:11:07.510 make sense. Right. And so to [389] 00:11:08.010 --> 00:11:08.350 others, what seemed as [390] 00:11:08.850 --> 00:11:09.870 inflexibility was really my way [391] 00:11:10.370 --> 00:11:11.070 to make sense of the world and [392] 00:11:11.570 --> 00:11:12.230 to be able to navigate it in a [394] 00:11:14.490 --> 00:11:15.030 that's right. That's right. So [395] 00:11:15.530 --> 00:11:15.590 there's a lot of [396] 00:11:16.090 --> 00:11:16.590 misunderstanding that happens [397] 00:11:17.090 --> 00:11:17.590 to, you know, look, that's, [398] 00:11:18.090 --> 00:11:18.870 that's my shout out to the [399] 00:11:19.370 --> 00:11:20.230 neuro. The neurodivergence. [400] 00:11:20.730 --> 00:11:21.270 They get, they get a really bad [401] 00:11:21.770 --> 00:11:23.230 rap for just because somebody [402] 00:11:23.730 --> 00:11:24.070 doesn't understand what it's [403] 00:11:24.570 --> 00:11:25.590 like to have to try to figure [404] 00:11:26.090 --> 00:11:27.190 out how to, you know, navigate a [405] 00:11:27.690 --> 00:11:28.190 world that is not intuitive, [406] 00:11:28.690 --> 00:11:29.270 that doesn't make sense, and as [407] 00:11:29.770 --> 00:11:30.270 a result can be very, very [408] 00:11:30.770 --> 00:11:31.670 [409] 00:11:32.170 --> 00:11:32.710 the One who tends to get blamed [410] 00:11:33.210 --> 00:11:33.670 for stuff when things go wrong. [411] 00:11:34.170 --> 00:11:34.470 Right. Because you're the odd [412] 00:11:34.970 --> 00:11:36.310 one out. Yeah, yeah, right. So [413] 00:11:36.810 --> 00:11:37.430 then she sometimes like, hey, [414] 00:11:37.930 --> 00:11:39.090 man, I read. I met up with her [415] 00:11:39.590 --> 00:11:40.570 after, you know, a couple years [416] 00:11:41.070 --> 00:11:43.330 after we both had left. And she [417] 00:11:43.830 --> 00:11:44.210 was like, hey, you know, you're [418] 00:11:44.710 --> 00:11:45.890 more. You're like psychic or [419] 00:11:46.390 --> 00:11:47.050 medium or a sense of energy, [420] 00:11:47.550 --> 00:11:47.970 all kind of stuff. I'm like, [421] 00:11:48.470 --> 00:11:49.170 what are you talking about? No, [422] 00:11:49.670 --> 00:11:50.290 I'm not. You're crazy. Right? [423] 00:11:50.790 --> 00:11:51.650 Because I'm thinking about this [425] 00:11:54.750 --> 00:11:56.490 movies, comics, very extreme. [426] 00:11:56.990 --> 00:11:57.370 And I'm like, that ain't me. [427] 00:11:57.870 --> 00:11:58.490 What are you talking about? And [428] 00:11:58.990 --> 00:12:00.210 so, you know, I went through. [429] 00:12:00.710 --> 00:12:01.250 Down a path of understanding [430] 00:12:01.750 --> 00:12:02.370 myself then through this, you [431] 00:12:02.870 --> 00:12:03.730 know, Eastern indigenous [432] 00:12:04.230 --> 00:12:05.970 spiritual lens, which then led [433] 00:12:06.470 --> 00:12:09.330 me to understanding my wiring [434] 00:12:09.830 --> 00:12:11.970 differently. And so this. And it [435] 00:12:12.470 --> 00:12:15.170 went then from over, you know, [436] 00:12:15.670 --> 00:12:16.290 understanding myself, let's say, [437] 00:12:16.790 --> 00:12:18.370 autistically as overstimulation [438] 00:12:18.450 --> 00:12:19.490 to understanding myself [439] 00:12:19.990 --> 00:12:20.690 spiritually as. Wait a second. [441] 00:12:23.270 --> 00:12:24.450 information and I know. And I [442] 00:12:24.950 --> 00:12:25.690 didn't recognize that it was [443] 00:12:26.190 --> 00:12:26.770 just like my car radio. If I [444] 00:12:27.270 --> 00:12:28.250 didn't have whatever that piece [445] 00:12:28.750 --> 00:12:29.770 is that allows, you know, you to [446] 00:12:30.270 --> 00:12:31.250 dial into a certain station, [447] 00:12:31.330 --> 00:12:32.530 you thought that, you know, you [448] 00:12:33.030 --> 00:12:33.730 would just be noise and chaos [449] 00:12:34.230 --> 00:12:34.570 coming at you and you wouldn't [450] 00:12:35.070 --> 00:12:35.570 be able to distinguish anything. [451] 00:12:35.880 --> 00:12:37.520 Right. But by understanding [452] 00:12:38.020 --> 00:12:39.880 myself and understanding my. My [453] 00:12:40.380 --> 00:12:41.720 wiring as being very sensitive [454] 00:12:42.220 --> 00:12:42.880 and tapped into these things and [455] 00:12:43.380 --> 00:12:44.080 [456] 00:12:44.580 --> 00:12:45.240 not just being physical, but [457] 00:12:45.740 --> 00:12:46.840 being, you know, information and [458] 00:12:47.340 --> 00:12:48.320 energy, I could then learn how [459] 00:12:48.820 --> 00:12:49.880 to, you know, train my radio [460] 00:12:50.380 --> 00:12:51.120 dial on how to just strictly [461] 00:12:51.620 --> 00:12:52.640 pick up, you know, the stations [462] 00:12:53.140 --> 00:12:53.880 that I wanted, as opposed to [463] 00:12:54.380 --> 00:12:56.440 overload. Right? Yeah. And so [464] 00:12:56.940 --> 00:12:57.600 that's. So that I needed to [465] 00:12:58.100 --> 00:12:59.480 understand myself first, then I [466] 00:12:59.980 --> 00:13:01.160 could make better use of all of [467] 00:13:01.660 --> 00:13:02.560 the healthcare practitioners and [468] 00:13:03.060 --> 00:13:04.080 service providers that were more [469] 00:13:04.580 --> 00:13:05.080 than willing to help me. And it [470] 00:13:05.580 --> 00:13:06.080 offered good services. Right. [472] 00:13:07.300 --> 00:13:08.900 myself enough to be able to feel [473] 00:13:09.400 --> 00:13:10.460 comfortable and confident, kind [474] 00:13:10.960 --> 00:13:12.980 of to, you know, walk down [475] 00:13:13.480 --> 00:13:14.260 somebody else's path. Right. I [476] 00:13:14.760 --> 00:13:15.340 needed to get my feet underneath [477] 00:13:15.840 --> 00:13:16.580 me. So that. That being said, [478] 00:13:17.080 --> 00:13:17.980 so that's kind of what then led [479] 00:13:18.480 --> 00:13:19.060 to a lot of my, you know, [480] 00:13:19.560 --> 00:13:20.380 subsequent work. And what my [481] 00:13:20.880 --> 00:13:21.820 areas of focus have been has [482] 00:13:22.320 --> 00:13:23.260 been, you know, seeing myself as [483] 00:13:23.760 --> 00:13:25.100 a neurotypical, masking the [484] 00:13:25.600 --> 00:13:26.460 scariness of associative [485] 00:13:26.960 --> 00:13:28.300 neurodivergency and navigating a [486] 00:13:28.800 --> 00:13:29.540 world that isn't meant for me. [488] 00:13:32.000 --> 00:13:32.740 world of understanding myself as [489] 00:13:33.240 --> 00:13:35.180 spiritually gifted and that my [490] 00:13:35.680 --> 00:13:37.180 healing and both, you know, [491] 00:13:37.680 --> 00:13:38.660 healing mentally, physically, [492] 00:13:39.160 --> 00:13:40.180 emotionally, Spiritually, [493] 00:13:40.900 --> 00:13:41.860 symptoms that I used to have, [494] 00:13:42.360 --> 00:13:43.220 no longer having, et cetera, [495] 00:13:44.180 --> 00:13:46.340 came not so much as a result of. [496] 00:13:46.820 --> 00:13:49.260 I did a, like, I did X Brex x [497] 00:13:49.760 --> 00:13:50.339 breath work. And so that allowed [498] 00:13:50.839 --> 00:13:52.100 me to heal my asthma right [499] 00:13:52.600 --> 00:13:52.980 there. Certainly while there are [500] 00:13:53.480 --> 00:13:54.180 certain elements of that, you [501] 00:13:54.680 --> 00:13:55.460 know, it's much more integrated. [502] 00:13:55.540 --> 00:13:58.380 [503] 00:13:58.880 --> 00:14:00.060 healing and feeling comfortable [504] 00:14:00.560 --> 00:14:01.260 with myself and comfortable to [505] 00:14:01.760 --> 00:14:03.040 navigate the unknown came from [506] 00:14:03.540 --> 00:14:03.960 being comfortable with myself [507] 00:14:04.460 --> 00:14:05.080 and learning about myself and [508] 00:14:05.580 --> 00:14:06.160 becoming comfortable in my own [509] 00:14:06.660 --> 00:14:07.720 skin. Right. And so that's. [510] 00:14:08.220 --> 00:14:09.280 That was really what the big key [511] 00:14:09.780 --> 00:14:10.920 to success was for me. That made [512] 00:14:11.420 --> 00:14:12.440 me turn. It allowed me to my [513] 00:14:12.940 --> 00:14:13.400 quality of life. To turn the [514] 00:14:13.900 --> 00:14:16.880 corner wasn't. Was simply just [515] 00:14:16.960 --> 00:14:18.080 becoming comfortable with [516] 00:14:18.580 --> 00:14:20.320 myself, learning to appreciate, [517] 00:14:20.400 --> 00:14:21.920 accept and love who I see in the [519] 00:14:24.660 --> 00:14:25.240 a lot of trauma work that was [520] 00:14:25.740 --> 00:14:26.200 associated with all this too. [521] 00:14:26.700 --> 00:14:26.880 So I spent, you know, [522] 00:14:27.380 --> 00:14:28.920 essentially eight years just [523] 00:14:29.420 --> 00:14:29.920 getting to know myself through [524] 00:14:30.420 --> 00:14:30.760 all these different lenses. And [525] 00:14:31.260 --> 00:14:33.760 that was my job. So I was going [526] 00:14:34.260 --> 00:14:35.040 to ask you if that was something [527] 00:14:35.540 --> 00:14:36.720 that hit you all at once it [528] 00:14:37.220 --> 00:14:38.520 cracked you open or if it was, [529] 00:14:39.320 --> 00:14:42.360 you know, more like a slow leak [530] 00:14:42.680 --> 00:14:45.720 type of. Yeah, it was more like, [531] 00:14:46.220 --> 00:14:46.680 you know, it was more like a [532] 00:14:47.180 --> 00:14:49.800 thousand deaths. Yeah. Yes. [533] 00:14:49.960 --> 00:14:53.120 Yeah. You know, each mask that I [535] 00:14:55.020 --> 00:14:55.530 the death of a part of you. [536] 00:14:57.520 --> 00:14:58.800 What, at least what, you know, [537] 00:14:59.300 --> 00:15:00.160 what I, what I encountered, I [538] 00:15:00.660 --> 00:15:01.200 didn't, I didn't run into enough [539] 00:15:01.700 --> 00:15:03.280 people warn, you know, setting [540] 00:15:03.780 --> 00:15:04.680 the proper expectations for me [541] 00:15:05.180 --> 00:15:06.520 that, you know, this path to [542] 00:15:07.020 --> 00:15:07.920 healing is actually, you know, [543] 00:15:08.420 --> 00:15:09.120 is through a lot of grieving. [544] 00:15:09.620 --> 00:15:10.720 Right. Grieving of letting a lot [545] 00:15:11.220 --> 00:15:12.240 of the old self died. Masks, [546] 00:15:12.740 --> 00:15:13.640 the old identities, things that [547] 00:15:14.140 --> 00:15:16.040 no longer serve us. Yeah, yeah, [548] 00:15:16.540 --> 00:15:17.200 yeah. And so to your point, I [549] 00:15:17.700 --> 00:15:18.040 [550] 00:15:18.540 --> 00:15:19.440 everything all at once. I mean, [551] 00:15:19.520 --> 00:15:21.240 and I could have never made the [552] 00:15:21.740 --> 00:15:22.400 progress that I made in eight [553] 00:15:22.900 --> 00:15:23.940 years had I also had, you know, [554] 00:15:24.090 --> 00:15:25.370 be doing a job and, you know, [555] 00:15:25.870 --> 00:15:27.010 and things like that for sure. [556] 00:15:27.510 --> 00:15:28.650 Right, right, right. It's a lot. [557] 00:15:28.970 --> 00:15:30.290 Oh, it was. There was no way I [558] 00:15:30.790 --> 00:15:31.330 could have done it. I mean, it [559] 00:15:31.830 --> 00:15:34.890 was literally the emotions, [560] 00:15:35.390 --> 00:15:36.770 the, the roller coasters, the [561] 00:15:37.270 --> 00:15:38.090 learnings, the understanding [562] 00:15:38.590 --> 00:15:39.130 myself. You know, when you [563] 00:15:39.630 --> 00:15:40.210 start, you know, talking about [564] 00:15:40.710 --> 00:15:42.090 from a place of a new reality, [566] 00:15:44.070 --> 00:15:44.610 flown, you know, going to work [567] 00:15:45.110 --> 00:15:45.610 the next day and trying to [568] 00:15:45.930 --> 00:15:47.450 combine both those worlds too. [569] 00:15:48.330 --> 00:15:49.970 You know what? We talked about [570] 00:15:50.470 --> 00:15:54.340 this in our pre show call [571] 00:15:55.380 --> 00:15:56.900 and it wasn't necessarily just [572] 00:15:57.400 --> 00:15:58.540 that, but what we were talking [573] 00:15:59.040 --> 00:16:01.220 about at that time was I have a [574] 00:16:01.720 --> 00:16:04.500 friend who reached out to me and [575] 00:16:04.580 --> 00:16:08.259 asked, how do you deal [576] 00:16:09.140 --> 00:16:12.220 with the corporate world and the [577] 00:16:12.720 --> 00:16:14.900 fact that you're spiritual, and [578] 00:16:15.460 --> 00:16:17.100 you and I were talking about [579] 00:16:17.600 --> 00:16:17.980 that, and I said, well, you [580] 00:16:18.480 --> 00:16:18.900 know, that's a great question, [582] 00:16:22.430 --> 00:16:23.890 to know your audience. And there [583] 00:16:24.390 --> 00:16:27.730 is that dance that you [584] 00:16:28.230 --> 00:16:30.450 make between the two, and [585] 00:16:30.950 --> 00:16:32.290 sometimes you get to share that [586] 00:16:32.530 --> 00:16:33.970 as your dance partner, and [587] 00:16:34.470 --> 00:16:34.970 sometimes you don't. You're just [588] 00:16:35.470 --> 00:16:37.570 dancing by yourself over, you [589] 00:16:38.070 --> 00:16:39.650 know, off in the corner. But [590] 00:16:40.530 --> 00:16:43.450 that is difficult because you [591] 00:16:43.950 --> 00:16:46.770 talk about. You've kind of said [592] 00:16:47.270 --> 00:16:48.130 it a few different times about [593] 00:16:48.210 --> 00:16:51.030 the mainstream world or whatever [594] 00:16:51.530 --> 00:16:52.510 you want to call it, the. The [595] 00:16:53.010 --> 00:16:55.190 normal there. Whatever. I. Most [596] 00:16:55.690 --> 00:16:57.190 [597] 00:16:58.630 --> 00:17:01.430 And let's just call a spade a [598] 00:17:01.930 --> 00:17:03.350 spade. It's not most common to [599] 00:17:03.590 --> 00:17:05.230 say, you know what, I'm. I'm [600] 00:17:05.730 --> 00:17:08.230 spiritual. I. I have the ability [601] 00:17:08.310 --> 00:17:11.030 to speak with people who have [602] 00:17:11.110 --> 00:17:12.910 transitioned. I have this. You [603] 00:17:13.410 --> 00:17:17.560 know, it's. It's not that. So I [604] 00:17:18.060 --> 00:17:19.520 think in some respects, you were [605] 00:17:20.020 --> 00:17:21.200 very fortunate to not have to [606] 00:17:22.320 --> 00:17:25.120 manage that and navigate those [607] 00:17:25.280 --> 00:17:26.840 waters, because that is [608] 00:17:27.340 --> 00:17:30.480 difficult. But I'm guessing you [609] 00:17:30.980 --> 00:17:32.760 had to do it in other facets of [610] 00:17:33.260 --> 00:17:35.640 your life. And maybe, if you [611] 00:17:36.140 --> 00:17:38.800 wouldn't mind, why don't you [613] 00:17:41.260 --> 00:17:42.610 those stories? And I'm sure [614] 00:17:43.110 --> 00:17:44.010 there's a little bit of a happy [615] 00:17:44.510 --> 00:17:46.450 ending in there, too, that you [616] 00:17:46.950 --> 00:17:47.850 could share with some of the [617] 00:17:48.350 --> 00:17:49.210 audience who may be going [618] 00:17:49.710 --> 00:17:50.410 through some of that right now [619] 00:17:50.910 --> 00:17:51.930 that, you know, those difficult [620] 00:17:52.970 --> 00:17:55.890 times, if you will. Yeah, you [621] 00:17:56.390 --> 00:17:57.530 know, I will say that I was. [622] 00:17:57.770 --> 00:17:59.930 So, first of all, I think I [623] 00:18:00.430 --> 00:18:00.850 brought this up on our call, [624] 00:18:01.350 --> 00:18:01.770 too. I think one of the great [625] 00:18:02.270 --> 00:18:03.890 disservices that does happen in [626] 00:18:04.390 --> 00:18:06.010 the mainstream is the separation [627] 00:18:06.090 --> 00:18:07.730 between what's called capitalism [629] 00:18:09.510 --> 00:18:10.090 think that they can't work [630] 00:18:10.590 --> 00:18:11.650 together. Because if you take a [631] 00:18:12.150 --> 00:18:13.170 look at a lot of businesses that [632] 00:18:13.670 --> 00:18:14.950 have massive ones with the way [633] 00:18:15.450 --> 00:18:17.110 that they start, they started [634] 00:18:17.190 --> 00:18:19.110 with a certain moral compass. [635] 00:18:19.610 --> 00:18:20.270 They started with a certain [636] 00:18:20.770 --> 00:18:21.430 culture. They started with [637] 00:18:21.510 --> 00:18:23.590 belief systems, Right? And if [638] 00:18:24.090 --> 00:18:24.590 you take a look at some of these [639] 00:18:25.090 --> 00:18:27.150 belief systems and also the [640] 00:18:27.650 --> 00:18:29.150 customer focus, right. Focusing [641] 00:18:29.650 --> 00:18:31.310 on others, using empathy to [642] 00:18:31.810 --> 00:18:32.350 recognize where there's a [643] 00:18:32.850 --> 00:18:34.030 [644] 00:18:34.530 --> 00:18:35.630 coming up with. With a solution. [645] 00:18:36.130 --> 00:18:36.910 Right. I mean, little things [646] 00:18:37.410 --> 00:18:38.350 like that are all aspects of [647] 00:18:38.850 --> 00:18:39.470 spirituality, but, you know, [648] 00:18:39.970 --> 00:18:41.190 they just don't get. They just. [649] 00:18:41.690 --> 00:18:42.350 They get packaged differently, [650] 00:18:42.850 --> 00:18:43.590 Right. Because they've got the [651] 00:18:44.090 --> 00:18:45.670 baggage associated with them. [652] 00:18:46.070 --> 00:18:48.230 And so. And then, I think, you [653] 00:18:48.730 --> 00:18:49.030 know, and so where's I go with [654] 00:18:49.530 --> 00:18:50.350 that? Oh, and so. So I think. [655] 00:18:50.850 --> 00:18:51.910 So I was very fortunate to start [656] 00:18:52.410 --> 00:18:54.510 in an organization that Dan, [657] 00:18:55.010 --> 00:18:55.830 who was the founder, you know, [658] 00:18:56.330 --> 00:18:57.030 he had what was Called isms. [660] 00:18:59.650 --> 00:19:00.630 of them were, you know, aligned [661] 00:19:01.130 --> 00:19:01.790 with spiritual beliefs, [662] 00:19:02.290 --> 00:19:02.910 frankly, or spiritual [663] 00:19:03.410 --> 00:19:03.990 philosophies and principles, [664] 00:19:04.490 --> 00:19:04.950 but they were just, you know, [665] 00:19:05.450 --> 00:19:05.950 repackaged. Something different. [666] 00:19:06.450 --> 00:19:07.310 I mean, I would imagine a lot of [667] 00:19:07.810 --> 00:19:08.310 companies are the same. But, [668] 00:19:08.390 --> 00:19:09.390 you know, one of the things that [669] 00:19:09.890 --> 00:19:10.750 I still always had was my own [670] 00:19:11.250 --> 00:19:13.590 moral compass. And I also. And I [671] 00:19:14.090 --> 00:19:15.230 always. And so I believe that [672] 00:19:15.550 --> 00:19:18.510 empathy is. Is actually the. [673] 00:19:18.990 --> 00:19:19.910 I know that there's like an [674] 00:19:20.410 --> 00:19:20.950 anti. Empathy moving out there. [676] 00:19:22.290 --> 00:19:22.950 talk about this. But I think [677] 00:19:23.450 --> 00:19:23.950 that empathy is one of the [678] 00:19:24.450 --> 00:19:25.070 greatest strengths that any [679] 00:19:25.570 --> 00:19:26.870 human possess because. And [680] 00:19:27.370 --> 00:19:28.110 especially in the world, [681] 00:19:28.610 --> 00:19:30.430 because empathy. And again, by [682] 00:19:30.930 --> 00:19:31.310 the way, also for anyone, [683] 00:19:31.810 --> 00:19:32.310 there's listeners like Graham, [684] 00:19:32.810 --> 00:19:33.230 you didn't have any empathy when [685] 00:19:33.730 --> 00:19:35.270 you were. Yeah, I know. I get [686] 00:19:35.770 --> 00:19:36.030 that. That was part of what I [687] 00:19:36.530 --> 00:19:36.710 spent the last eight years [688] 00:19:37.210 --> 00:19:37.630 understanding. That was one of [689] 00:19:38.130 --> 00:19:38.590 the things that unlocked. [690] 00:19:39.150 --> 00:19:40.270 [691] 00:19:40.770 --> 00:19:41.030 things that unlocked my [692] 00:19:41.530 --> 00:19:42.150 understanding of my spiritual [693] 00:19:42.650 --> 00:19:43.070 gifts and all that other stuff [694] 00:19:43.570 --> 00:19:44.530 was that. That was Graham the. [695] 00:19:45.030 --> 00:19:46.810 The hard ass. That's right. [696] 00:19:47.050 --> 00:19:50.090 Versus who you really are. So, [697] 00:19:50.590 --> 00:19:51.170 yeah, I mean, I had to walk a [698] 00:19:51.670 --> 00:19:52.490 mile in other people's shoes to [699] 00:19:52.990 --> 00:19:53.530 be able to get that. I had to. [700] 00:19:54.030 --> 00:19:54.530 And once I unlocked that [701] 00:19:55.030 --> 00:19:55.890 empathy, then I could read the [702] 00:19:56.390 --> 00:19:56.850 energies around me without [703] 00:19:57.350 --> 00:19:57.930 having that empathy. I couldn't [704] 00:19:58.430 --> 00:19:59.450 read the energy. So anyway, but [705] 00:19:59.529 --> 00:20:00.730 you can go down, go down that [707] 00:20:03.550 --> 00:20:04.890 empathy and recognizing, okay, [708] 00:20:05.390 --> 00:20:05.810 there's a bunch of people out [709] 00:20:06.310 --> 00:20:06.610 there in the world, there's no [710] 00:20:07.110 --> 00:20:08.010 lack of problems. Right. I mean, [711] 00:20:09.370 --> 00:20:11.010 Right. So if you think about, [712] 00:20:11.510 --> 00:20:12.370 you know, okay, there's all of [713] 00:20:12.870 --> 00:20:14.170 these people, these are the [714] 00:20:14.670 --> 00:20:15.890 problems. How do we help these [715] 00:20:16.390 --> 00:20:17.090 people to improve their quality [716] 00:20:17.590 --> 00:20:18.170 of life? Well, now you've got a [717] 00:20:18.670 --> 00:20:20.130 whole pipeline full of ideas for [718] 00:20:20.630 --> 00:20:21.810 product development. Right. And [719] 00:20:22.310 --> 00:20:24.210 just that. And just that simple [720] 00:20:24.710 --> 00:20:26.490 approach, you know, really, you [721] 00:20:26.990 --> 00:20:27.610 know, is. Is a simple way to [723] 00:20:29.430 --> 00:20:30.770 capitalism work together. And [724] 00:20:31.270 --> 00:20:32.570 then, you know, and if you think [725] 00:20:33.070 --> 00:20:33.810 about doing right by the [726] 00:20:34.310 --> 00:20:35.890 customer. Right. Versus taking [727] 00:20:36.390 --> 00:20:38.610 advantage of them because you [728] 00:20:39.110 --> 00:20:39.970 can. Because you have leverage. [729] 00:20:40.470 --> 00:20:41.970 Right. There's. There's a lot of [730] 00:20:42.470 --> 00:20:44.270 little subtleties. Like I said, [731] 00:20:44.770 --> 00:20:45.150 I think if you look at the most [732] 00:20:45.650 --> 00:20:46.710 successful businesses, they [733] 00:20:47.210 --> 00:20:48.310 follow a lot of those [734] 00:20:49.270 --> 00:20:51.830 philosophies or principles, [735] 00:20:51.910 --> 00:20:53.030 guiding principles in their. [736] 00:20:53.530 --> 00:20:54.310 In, you know, in their day to [737] 00:20:54.810 --> 00:20:56.150 [738] 00:20:56.650 --> 00:20:58.510 the. Is probably the hardest is. [739] 00:20:59.010 --> 00:21:00.750 Is when you have one moral [740] 00:21:01.250 --> 00:21:02.190 compass and you're in the [741] 00:21:02.690 --> 00:21:03.270 organization that you're working [742] 00:21:03.770 --> 00:21:04.950 for. Has a conflicting one. [743] 00:21:05.110 --> 00:21:07.190 Yeah. Then that's different. [744] 00:21:07.270 --> 00:21:09.030 Then you Know, look, and that's [745] 00:21:09.530 --> 00:21:10.950 ultimately. Yeah. And in some [746] 00:21:11.450 --> 00:21:11.910 ways that. Look, that's what [747] 00:21:12.410 --> 00:21:13.710 happened to me was that I, [748] 00:21:16.590 --> 00:21:18.270 you know, I was. How do I say? [749] 00:21:19.550 --> 00:21:24.750 There were definitely things [750] 00:21:25.250 --> 00:21:27.230 that I found, at least from my [751] 00:21:27.730 --> 00:21:28.950 perspective, where I saw, like [752] 00:21:29.450 --> 00:21:29.870 once I, you know, I knew that [754] 00:21:31.570 --> 00:21:31.990 part of the C Suite. Right. [755] 00:21:32.490 --> 00:21:33.150 Most people, they're like, you [756] 00:21:33.650 --> 00:21:34.910 know, becoming a C suite team [757] 00:21:35.410 --> 00:21:35.990 member, you know, especially in [758] 00:21:36.490 --> 00:21:37.270 an 18 or 20,000 person [759] 00:21:37.770 --> 00:21:38.390 organization, is a very big [760] 00:21:38.890 --> 00:21:39.590 accomplishment or milestone. [761] 00:21:40.090 --> 00:21:40.950 Right. Something to be proud of [762] 00:21:41.450 --> 00:21:42.530 for I, for whatever reason I [763] 00:21:43.030 --> 00:21:46.290 had, if I. Yeah, right. Well, I [764] 00:21:46.790 --> 00:21:47.890 knew that once I, once I stepped [765] 00:21:48.390 --> 00:21:48.970 into that arena, that was going [766] 00:21:49.470 --> 00:21:50.370 to be the down beginning of the [767] 00:21:50.870 --> 00:21:53.690 downfall. And it was. And you [768] 00:21:54.190 --> 00:21:54.690 know, some of that was because I [770] 00:21:56.830 --> 00:21:57.489 you know, I related more to the, [771] 00:21:57.989 --> 00:21:58.490 with the people that were doing [772] 00:21:58.990 --> 00:22:00.370 the work versus, you know, C [773] 00:22:00.870 --> 00:22:02.410 suite leadership. I also saw the [774] 00:22:02.910 --> 00:22:04.490 hypocrisy or the contradiction, [775] 00:22:04.990 --> 00:22:05.610 whichever is the right term, [776] 00:22:06.090 --> 00:22:08.740 between, you know, we want to be [777] 00:22:08.820 --> 00:22:10.540 up through a certain part in the [778] 00:22:11.040 --> 00:22:12.540 organization at this time. It [779] 00:22:13.040 --> 00:22:14.020 was, hey, we want everyone to be [780] 00:22:14.520 --> 00:22:15.380 innovative and take risks. But [781] 00:22:15.880 --> 00:22:16.180 then it got to a point where [782] 00:22:16.680 --> 00:22:16.980 it's like, no, I really don't. [783] 00:22:17.480 --> 00:22:17.820 I just want you to do what I [784] 00:22:18.320 --> 00:22:20.660 [785] 00:22:21.160 --> 00:22:23.540 Yeah. And that. Right. And it [786] 00:22:24.040 --> 00:22:25.060 was like, you know, and so, you [787] 00:22:25.560 --> 00:22:26.140 know, and then that, that always [788] 00:22:26.640 --> 00:22:27.220 bothered me. That always rubbed [789] 00:22:27.720 --> 00:22:28.540 me the wrong way. Right. The [790] 00:22:29.040 --> 00:22:29.860 fact that we weren't consistent [791] 00:22:30.360 --> 00:22:31.020 through all layers of the [792] 00:22:31.520 --> 00:22:32.300 organization and that there were [793] 00:22:32.800 --> 00:22:33.620 different rules that applied [794] 00:22:35.080 --> 00:22:38.480 and, you know, and so, [795] 00:22:38.980 --> 00:22:39.880 you know, so in some ways, you [796] 00:22:40.380 --> 00:22:40.960 know, maybe I was, you know, [797] 00:22:41.460 --> 00:22:42.200 idealistic. I didn't know how to [798] 00:22:42.700 --> 00:22:43.080 navigate it. I certainly, [799] 00:22:43.580 --> 00:22:44.480 certainly didn't have some of [801] 00:22:47.720 --> 00:22:49.080 skills and abilities that were [802] 00:22:49.580 --> 00:22:50.160 needed to navigate that [803] 00:22:50.660 --> 00:22:51.520 environment or that type of. [804] 00:22:52.020 --> 00:22:52.840 What are they called? The [805] 00:22:53.340 --> 00:22:54.120 politics that are associated [806] 00:22:54.620 --> 00:22:55.200 with things. Sure. Level. [807] 00:22:55.700 --> 00:22:57.960 Right. And I didn't do. I [808] 00:22:58.460 --> 00:22:59.000 certainly didn't do myself any [809] 00:22:59.500 --> 00:23:01.370 favors in a lot of ways. And it [810] 00:23:01.870 --> 00:23:02.410 ended up being, you know, the [811] 00:23:02.910 --> 00:23:06.050 unwinding of, you know, [812] 00:23:07.170 --> 00:23:09.730 those clashes, probably having [813] 00:23:10.230 --> 00:23:10.730 conversations that I shouldn't [814] 00:23:11.230 --> 00:23:11.690 have had, meaning opening, [815] 00:23:12.190 --> 00:23:12.770 offering up certain information [817] 00:23:14.830 --> 00:23:15.850 overly transparent about certain [818] 00:23:16.350 --> 00:23:19.370 things, you know, especially as [819] 00:23:19.870 --> 00:23:20.450 it pertained to, you know, [820] 00:23:20.950 --> 00:23:22.410 like, you know, some of the ways [821] 00:23:22.910 --> 00:23:23.530 that I blew off steam on the [822] 00:23:24.030 --> 00:23:25.650 weekends because I was in such a [823] 00:23:26.150 --> 00:23:26.850 pressure cooker and, you know. [824] 00:23:29.170 --> 00:23:31.490 Yeah. You know, but anyway, [825] 00:23:31.990 --> 00:23:33.060 anyway, so I think that to make [826] 00:23:33.560 --> 00:23:34.340 it more productive, to get it [827] 00:23:34.840 --> 00:23:35.820 back to productive and takeaways [828] 00:23:36.320 --> 00:23:37.460 for your audiences it's like, I [829] 00:23:37.960 --> 00:23:38.060 think the first thing that [830] 00:23:38.560 --> 00:23:39.540 somebody has to ask themselves [831] 00:23:40.040 --> 00:23:41.460 [832] 00:23:41.960 --> 00:23:43.180 luxury of finding another job if [833] 00:23:43.680 --> 00:23:44.700 I find myself? Right. Because [834] 00:23:45.200 --> 00:23:45.900 that's just. There's. There's [835] 00:23:46.400 --> 00:23:47.260 very real. That's a great way to [836] 00:23:47.760 --> 00:23:48.340 frame that. Right. Choice. [837] 00:23:49.380 --> 00:23:50.420 Yeah. Do I have the luxury of [838] 00:23:50.920 --> 00:23:52.820 making a choice to go out if I [839] 00:23:53.320 --> 00:23:53.740 don't have that luxury of [840] 00:23:54.240 --> 00:23:54.780 choice? Well, now what do I do? [841] 00:23:55.280 --> 00:23:55.660 Okay, well, I think the first [842] 00:23:56.160 --> 00:23:57.940 thing. Right. Is acknowledging [843] 00:23:58.950 --> 00:24:00.030 how I'm wired and where I'm at [844] 00:24:00.530 --> 00:24:01.590 is different. So expecting. So [845] 00:24:02.090 --> 00:24:02.830 having any expectation that [846] 00:24:03.330 --> 00:24:03.950 they're going to coexist or [848] 00:24:05.490 --> 00:24:05.990 things will be simple or [849] 00:24:06.490 --> 00:24:07.910 intuitive. That's right. It's [850] 00:24:08.410 --> 00:24:08.830 unfair. You're setting yourself [851] 00:24:09.330 --> 00:24:09.830 up for failure. So let's [852] 00:24:10.330 --> 00:24:12.270 recognize. Okay, this is kind of [853] 00:24:12.770 --> 00:24:13.590 the. And this is. I. I don't [854] 00:24:14.090 --> 00:24:14.750 like to advise anybody. I don't [855] 00:24:15.250 --> 00:24:16.670 have to say it, though, but this [856] 00:24:17.170 --> 00:24:18.670 is kind of who I need to be to [857] 00:24:19.170 --> 00:24:21.110 get by during this phase of my [858] 00:24:21.610 --> 00:24:22.590 life. Right. Yes. These are some [859] 00:24:23.090 --> 00:24:24.030 of the learned behaviors. These [860] 00:24:24.530 --> 00:24:25.420 are some of the things. But. [861] 00:24:26.290 --> 00:24:27.610 Mask. That you wear to survive. [862] 00:24:28.110 --> 00:24:28.610 Yeah. You know, and I. And [864] 00:24:31.190 --> 00:24:31.930 in my stomach to say this, but [865] 00:24:32.430 --> 00:24:33.610 the others. But this is the. [866] 00:24:34.110 --> 00:24:34.890 The. This is the way you can [867] 00:24:35.390 --> 00:24:36.210 make that work without losing [868] 00:24:36.710 --> 00:24:38.650 yourself. Is that by consciously [869] 00:24:39.150 --> 00:24:40.010 being aware of the. Of the fact [870] 00:24:40.510 --> 00:24:41.050 that you're wearing a mask, [871] 00:24:41.550 --> 00:24:42.650 what the mask is doing and how [872] 00:24:43.150 --> 00:24:44.490 it's not your genuine authentic [873] 00:24:44.990 --> 00:24:45.610 self allows you then, when [874] 00:24:46.110 --> 00:24:47.330 you're not there, to recognize [875] 00:24:47.830 --> 00:24:49.250 what you need to do to nourish [876] 00:24:49.330 --> 00:24:51.570 who you really are so that you [877] 00:24:52.070 --> 00:24:52.770 can. So that you can maintain, [878] 00:24:53.450 --> 00:24:54.890 [879] 00:24:55.130 --> 00:24:56.970 That's right. Yeah. No, that's. [880] 00:24:57.470 --> 00:24:59.130 That's great. And thank you for [881] 00:24:59.850 --> 00:25:02.370 sharing that, because it's. It [882] 00:25:02.870 --> 00:25:04.650 is a difficult thing because I. [883] 00:25:05.150 --> 00:25:08.730 I think we have the. The picture [884] 00:25:09.130 --> 00:25:12.450 in our minds that it's supposed [885] 00:25:12.950 --> 00:25:14.330 to be this way, which is an [886] 00:25:14.830 --> 00:25:16.010 expectation. And we place those [887] 00:25:16.510 --> 00:25:20.060 expectations on ourselves. And I [888] 00:25:20.560 --> 00:25:21.380 don't even know if I can [889] 00:25:21.700 --> 00:25:24.260 honestly say that we have. We [890] 00:25:24.760 --> 00:25:26.340 keep them there. But the [891] 00:25:26.840 --> 00:25:28.260 expectations that we pick up [892] 00:25:28.660 --> 00:25:31.540 oftentimes are those that are [893] 00:25:32.040 --> 00:25:34.460 laid on us from our parents or [895] 00:25:37.220 --> 00:25:39.180 where, you know, this belief [896] 00:25:39.680 --> 00:25:40.300 system, these patterns and [897] 00:25:40.800 --> 00:25:41.780 beliefs that are. That we pick [898] 00:25:42.280 --> 00:25:43.700 up along the way if you want to [899] 00:25:44.200 --> 00:25:44.700 be liked, if you want to be [900] 00:25:45.200 --> 00:25:46.820 included, if you don't. All [901] 00:25:47.320 --> 00:25:48.660 those things. That's right. [902] 00:25:49.050 --> 00:25:51.250 Yeah. And what is that? You [903] 00:25:51.750 --> 00:25:53.450 know, not to get too esoteric, [904] 00:25:53.950 --> 00:25:56.530 but, you know, success. I. I [905] 00:25:57.030 --> 00:25:57.970 have someone who's very close to [906] 00:25:58.470 --> 00:26:01.730 me that talks about ROI to the [907] 00:26:02.230 --> 00:26:03.490 point where I just turned to her [908] 00:26:03.990 --> 00:26:04.970 and said, you need to come up [909] 00:26:05.470 --> 00:26:06.090 with a new acronym because [911] 00:26:08.510 --> 00:26:09.890 I can't hear ROI. What's your [912] 00:26:10.390 --> 00:26:14.090 ROI? What's your ROI? I finally [913] 00:26:14.590 --> 00:26:16.250 said, you understand that ROIs [914] 00:26:17.890 --> 00:26:20.610 are, can be more than dollars [915] 00:26:21.110 --> 00:26:23.610 and cents. And it's, it's about [916] 00:26:24.110 --> 00:26:24.810 framing those things. Those, [917] 00:26:25.310 --> 00:26:26.850 the return on investment in [918] 00:26:26.930 --> 00:26:28.130 emotional investment, a [919] 00:26:28.630 --> 00:26:29.410 spiritual investment, whatever. [920] 00:26:29.810 --> 00:26:32.250 So anyway, I started to go. We [921] 00:26:32.750 --> 00:26:34.690 have a lot in common as far as [922] 00:26:35.410 --> 00:26:37.770 ADHD neurodivergence is [923] 00:26:38.270 --> 00:26:39.610 concerned, because I am a shiny [924] 00:26:40.110 --> 00:26:41.090 object. Son of a bitch. [925] 00:26:41.730 --> 00:26:43.050 [926] 00:26:43.550 --> 00:26:45.130 I should talk about that. Even [927] 00:26:45.630 --> 00:26:46.170 though it has nothing to do with [928] 00:26:46.670 --> 00:26:47.540 what we're, we're actually [929] 00:26:48.040 --> 00:26:49.300 talking about. But this, this [930] 00:26:49.800 --> 00:26:51.020 did. Fortunately, this time it [931] 00:26:51.520 --> 00:26:54.140 worked out. I want to ask you [932] 00:26:54.640 --> 00:26:57.140 something about consciousness [933] 00:26:57.640 --> 00:27:00.580 because you describe yourself as [934] 00:27:02.260 --> 00:27:04.100 consciousness in a human suit, [935] 00:27:04.600 --> 00:27:05.500 which I love, by the way. A [936] 00:27:06.000 --> 00:27:06.900 being of consciousness. Okay, [937] 00:27:07.400 --> 00:27:08.380 okay. Not a conscious being, [938] 00:27:08.880 --> 00:27:11.060 but a being consciousness in a [939] 00:27:11.560 --> 00:27:12.340 human suit. In a human suit, [940] 00:27:12.570 --> 00:27:14.570 which, like I said, I love that. [942] 00:27:16.310 --> 00:27:17.930 And I've had a few guests who [943] 00:27:18.010 --> 00:27:21.130 use similar language, but not [944] 00:27:21.770 --> 00:27:24.610 quite like you have. And what I [945] 00:27:25.110 --> 00:27:26.890 want to know is what does that [946] 00:27:27.390 --> 00:27:29.770 actually feel like to you [947] 00:27:32.170 --> 00:27:34.010 Wednesday afternoon? Let's, [948] 00:27:34.510 --> 00:27:36.050 let's say after being stuck in [949] 00:27:36.550 --> 00:27:40.050 traffic or you have computer [950] 00:27:40.550 --> 00:27:41.370 problems or whatever. Hey, how [951] 00:27:41.870 --> 00:27:44.370 does that awareness change in [952] 00:27:45.330 --> 00:27:47.690 mundane moments or everyday life [953] 00:27:48.190 --> 00:27:50.730 moments for you? Yeah. Wow. [954] 00:27:51.230 --> 00:27:51.730 What an interesting, what a [955] 00:27:52.230 --> 00:27:52.810 great question. An interesting [956] 00:27:53.310 --> 00:27:56.170 question. So I think it's. It [958] 00:27:58.310 --> 00:27:59.250 the things that I teach and [959] 00:27:59.730 --> 00:28:01.210 offer information about to those [960] 00:28:01.710 --> 00:28:04.090 that want it is understanding [961] 00:28:04.590 --> 00:28:05.930 the game of life as a living and [962] 00:28:06.430 --> 00:28:07.570 learning environment. And so I [963] 00:28:08.070 --> 00:28:08.410 understand here's a different [964] 00:28:08.910 --> 00:28:10.050 definition of understanding the [965] 00:28:10.550 --> 00:28:10.890 game of life and here's a [966] 00:28:11.390 --> 00:28:12.010 different way of how to play it. [967] 00:28:12.330 --> 00:28:14.290 And one of the combination with [968] 00:28:14.790 --> 00:28:16.730 that is many, many, many of the [969] 00:28:17.230 --> 00:28:18.250 problems that we exist in both [970] 00:28:18.750 --> 00:28:21.050 our. As a planet, as societies [971] 00:28:21.530 --> 00:28:23.450 and as individuals comes as a [972] 00:28:23.950 --> 00:28:24.570 [973] 00:28:25.070 --> 00:28:25.970 the man made intelligent design [974] 00:28:26.470 --> 00:28:27.570 that we operate in and the [975] 00:28:28.070 --> 00:28:29.090 divine intelligent design of how [976] 00:28:29.590 --> 00:28:30.490 things were designed to be. [977] 00:28:30.890 --> 00:28:33.290 Yeah. So, you know, so for me, [978] 00:28:33.790 --> 00:28:34.090 you know, I understand [979] 00:28:34.330 --> 00:28:35.530 everything as, [980] 00:28:40.040 --> 00:28:42.480 As essentially the, the learning [981] 00:28:42.980 --> 00:28:43.840 tutorial that I created for [982] 00:28:44.340 --> 00:28:45.120 myself before I took on a [983] 00:28:45.620 --> 00:28:48.600 physical form. Can you say that [984] 00:28:49.100 --> 00:28:51.999 again, please? Yeah. So. So as a [985] 00:28:52.499 --> 00:28:53.120 being of consciousness. Right. [986] 00:28:53.620 --> 00:28:54.840 So first let me. I'll start by [987] 00:28:54.920 --> 00:28:56.200 separating how I see the [989] 00:28:57.620 --> 00:28:58.160 conscious being and being a [990] 00:28:58.660 --> 00:29:00.600 being conscious. So a conscious [991] 00:29:01.100 --> 00:29:03.070 being means I was nothing until [992] 00:29:03.570 --> 00:29:04.270 all of a sudden I was born. And [993] 00:29:04.770 --> 00:29:05.310 then all of a sudden now it [994] 00:29:05.810 --> 00:29:06.230 became consciousness [995] 00:29:06.730 --> 00:29:07.670 comprehension. I can understand [996] 00:29:08.170 --> 00:29:09.390 things around. The other is, [997] 00:29:09.890 --> 00:29:12.310 hey, I'm an ethereal being. I am [998] 00:29:12.810 --> 00:29:15.310 a consciousness. And so before I [999] 00:29:15.630 --> 00:29:17.510 take on a physical form, I [1000] 00:29:18.010 --> 00:29:18.550 decide, okay, these are the [1001] 00:29:19.050 --> 00:29:19.830 different things that I want to [1002] 00:29:20.330 --> 00:29:21.270 learn. These are the acts of [1003] 00:29:21.770 --> 00:29:22.510 service that I want to provide. [1005] 00:29:24.690 --> 00:29:26.270 to. Skills and abilities that I [1006] 00:29:26.770 --> 00:29:28.720 want to learn while I, you know, [1007] 00:29:29.220 --> 00:29:30.200 am taking on this physical form [1008] 00:29:30.700 --> 00:29:31.880 and then get born. And so [1009] 00:29:32.380 --> 00:29:32.880 there's an element of [1010] 00:29:33.380 --> 00:29:34.360 predetermination that's already [1011] 00:29:34.860 --> 00:29:38.080 occurred. And so which are you [1012] 00:29:38.580 --> 00:29:39.960 saying? The former or the latter [1013] 00:29:40.460 --> 00:29:42.520 is where you land now? [1014] 00:29:43.319 --> 00:29:45.120 So I land in the. A being of [1015] 00:29:45.620 --> 00:29:47.240 consciousness. Right. So I'm a, [1016] 00:29:47.740 --> 00:29:49.280 you know, this is, this is not [1017] 00:29:49.780 --> 00:29:50.680 my identity. This just happens [1018] 00:29:51.180 --> 00:29:52.200 to be how I chose to understand [1019] 00:29:52.700 --> 00:29:54.640 [1020] 00:29:55.140 --> 00:29:56.040 created this human suit based [1021] 00:29:56.540 --> 00:29:57.840 with the wiring that I needed to [1022] 00:29:58.340 --> 00:30:00.330 be able to tap into the [1023] 00:30:00.830 --> 00:30:02.170 energies, the information to [1024] 00:30:02.670 --> 00:30:03.690 have access to what I needed to, [1025] 00:30:04.190 --> 00:30:05.050 to learn and do and be what I [1026] 00:30:05.550 --> 00:30:06.810 needed to be. Yeah, so that's. [1027] 00:30:07.310 --> 00:30:07.770 In that respects. Yeah. So we [1028] 00:30:08.270 --> 00:30:09.250 individualize our own human suit [1029] 00:30:09.750 --> 00:30:10.410 based on our experience before [1030] 00:30:10.910 --> 00:30:11.930 we get here. And so that's, you [1031] 00:30:12.430 --> 00:30:12.890 know, that's a really, really [1032] 00:30:13.390 --> 00:30:15.770 important thing. Yeah. And [1033] 00:30:16.270 --> 00:30:17.770 that's a concept that is so [1034] 00:30:18.270 --> 00:30:22.490 foreign to some that [1036] 00:30:25.270 --> 00:30:26.450 sometimes I'm even apprehensive [1037] 00:30:26.950 --> 00:30:29.770 to start the, the conversation [1038] 00:30:30.090 --> 00:30:31.530 up with something like that [1039] 00:30:32.030 --> 00:30:33.650 where, hey, yeah, you know, we [1040] 00:30:34.150 --> 00:30:35.010 had no, nothing happened before [1041] 00:30:35.510 --> 00:30:36.410 my mom and dad having sex. [1042] 00:30:40.010 --> 00:30:41.730 You know, respectfully disagree [1043] 00:30:42.230 --> 00:30:43.169 with you, but, you know, you [1044] 00:30:43.669 --> 00:30:43.850 believe what you're going to [1045] 00:30:44.350 --> 00:30:46.090 believe. Yeah. And so one of the [1046] 00:30:46.590 --> 00:30:46.730 things that, you know, and [1047] 00:30:47.230 --> 00:30:47.970 again, I'm making some of this, [1048] 00:30:48.470 --> 00:30:48.610 I'm making sound a little [1049] 00:30:49.110 --> 00:30:50.090 simple. Right. But once I [1050] 00:30:50.590 --> 00:30:51.570 understood, you know, a simple [1052] 00:30:54.350 --> 00:30:55.670 but, you know, I, So then I get, [1053] 00:30:56.170 --> 00:30:56.870 you know, what, what needed to [1054] 00:30:57.370 --> 00:30:58.510 happen was that, you know, I had [1055] 00:30:59.010 --> 00:31:00.070 to, you know, one of my gifts is [1056] 00:31:00.570 --> 00:31:00.910 being able to understand this, [1057] 00:31:01.410 --> 00:31:01.630 you know, the intelligent [1058] 00:31:02.130 --> 00:31:02.710 design, to be able to teach it. [1059] 00:31:03.210 --> 00:31:04.070 And so, you know, the first [1060] 00:31:04.570 --> 00:31:04.990 thing that I understood was that [1061] 00:31:05.490 --> 00:31:06.230 there's three phases. One is [1062] 00:31:06.730 --> 00:31:08.070 establishing, you know, the [1063] 00:31:08.570 --> 00:31:09.630 work, the just the knowledge of [1064] 00:31:10.130 --> 00:31:10.750 what's going on around me, what [1065] 00:31:11.250 --> 00:31:12.510 it is I want to learn then. And [1066] 00:31:13.010 --> 00:31:13.870 [1067] 00:31:14.370 --> 00:31:14.870 that that's how the world is [1068] 00:31:15.370 --> 00:31:16.030 talking to me is to get me to [1069] 00:31:16.530 --> 00:31:17.390 recognize what I want to learn, [1070] 00:31:17.890 --> 00:31:19.510 then the next phase is, is going [1071] 00:31:20.010 --> 00:31:20.670 through an experiential learning [1072] 00:31:21.170 --> 00:31:21.950 process to Establish a working [1073] 00:31:22.450 --> 00:31:24.090 knowledge for it. And then the [1074] 00:31:24.590 --> 00:31:26.130 third phase is being able is the [1075] 00:31:26.630 --> 00:31:28.610 embodiment of that. Yes. Yeah, [1076] 00:31:29.110 --> 00:31:31.130 yeah. So I'm gonna keep, yeah, [1077] 00:31:31.630 --> 00:31:32.690 so I'm gonna keep going through [1078] 00:31:32.770 --> 00:31:34.370 these catalysts which typically [1079] 00:31:34.870 --> 00:31:35.730 are, is typically around [1080] 00:31:36.230 --> 00:31:37.210 surrounding adversity. Right. [1081] 00:31:37.710 --> 00:31:37.890 Because unless you don't have [1083] 00:31:39.430 --> 00:31:40.370 don't need to. Right. So there's [1084] 00:31:40.870 --> 00:31:41.770 understanding the adversity or [1085] 00:31:42.270 --> 00:31:43.930 the challenges as, okay, this is [1086] 00:31:44.430 --> 00:31:45.090 what it's teaching me. And I'm [1087] 00:31:45.590 --> 00:31:45.970 gonna go through these three [1088] 00:31:46.470 --> 00:31:47.650 phases and it's gonna get a [1089] 00:31:48.150 --> 00:31:48.810 little intense as, you know, [1090] 00:31:49.310 --> 00:31:49.850 more intense as I go through [1091] 00:31:50.350 --> 00:31:51.750 these phases. But then once I [1092] 00:31:52.250 --> 00:31:53.150 get to that embodiment phase, [1093] 00:31:53.710 --> 00:31:55.110 all of a sudden now, you know, [1094] 00:31:55.610 --> 00:31:56.470 that intensity, you know, is no [1095] 00:31:56.970 --> 00:31:57.510 longer there. We move on to the [1096] 00:31:58.010 --> 00:31:59.670 homeostasis occurs in, at that [1097] 00:32:00.170 --> 00:32:01.910 point. Yeah. And so, and so [1099] 00:32:04.650 --> 00:32:05.870 me then just to focusing on [1100] 00:32:06.270 --> 00:32:07.630 changing my perspective, to [1101] 00:32:07.790 --> 00:32:08.870 understanding how things are [1102] 00:32:09.370 --> 00:32:10.350 happening for me, not to me. [1103] 00:32:10.430 --> 00:32:11.550 And so when I don't always [1104] 00:32:12.050 --> 00:32:13.990 necessarily understand what's [1105] 00:32:14.490 --> 00:32:15.150 being presented yet, I started [1106] 00:32:15.650 --> 00:32:16.070 asking myself the question, [1107] 00:32:16.570 --> 00:32:17.740 okay, how is this something [1108] 00:32:18.240 --> 00:32:19.380 that's happening for me, not to [1109] 00:32:19.880 --> 00:32:21.020 me. Right. What is, what is the [1110] 00:32:21.520 --> 00:32:22.220 upside? What is the potential? [1111] 00:32:22.720 --> 00:32:24.140 What is the learning? And [1112] 00:32:24.640 --> 00:32:25.380 that's, and then that starts me [1113] 00:32:25.880 --> 00:32:26.660 [1114] 00:32:26.820 --> 00:32:28.740 Big reframe. Yeah, that's a big [1115] 00:32:29.240 --> 00:32:33.180 reframe. So I had mentioned [1116] 00:32:33.680 --> 00:32:35.940 before about your, the AI aspect [1117] 00:32:36.440 --> 00:32:41.940 of your business. So with [1118] 00:32:42.440 --> 00:32:45.890 AI being what it is, and I think [1119] 00:32:46.390 --> 00:32:49.050 it's a wonderful tool, but not [1120] 00:32:49.550 --> 00:32:52.010 everybody. And let me first [1121] 00:32:52.090 --> 00:32:53.890 start by saying I'm by no means [1122] 00:32:54.390 --> 00:32:57.570 an expert. My little thimble [1123] 00:32:58.070 --> 00:33:00.290 full of knowledge with it is, I [1124] 00:33:00.790 --> 00:33:01.449 think it's neat. Like I said, [1125] 00:33:01.690 --> 00:33:04.090 it's a great tool. But I'm [1126] 00:33:04.590 --> 00:33:06.970 curious that you're building the [1127] 00:33:07.050 --> 00:33:11.170 ethical AI while also [1128] 00:33:11.670 --> 00:33:13.050 being deeply spiritual. And I [1130] 00:33:15.070 --> 00:33:15.730 spiritual community are [1131] 00:33:16.230 --> 00:33:20.150 suspicious of AI and maybe [1132] 00:33:20.650 --> 00:33:21.910 rightfully so, for that matter, [1133] 00:33:22.410 --> 00:33:24.830 I, I, I, I don't know, how do [1134] 00:33:25.330 --> 00:33:26.790 you do both or how do you hold [1135] 00:33:26.870 --> 00:33:28.750 both? Is there a soul in the [1136] 00:33:29.250 --> 00:33:30.790 machine somewhere? Are we just [1137] 00:33:31.290 --> 00:33:31.990 being optimistic with [1138] 00:33:32.490 --> 00:33:34.350 everything? So look, so aside [1139] 00:33:34.850 --> 00:33:35.110 from, you know, I'm just going [1140] 00:33:35.610 --> 00:33:36.750 to call it a handful of guys on [1141] 00:33:37.250 --> 00:33:38.390 the, you know, on the west coast [1142] 00:33:39.190 --> 00:33:40.550 that are, that are the loudest [1143] 00:33:41.050 --> 00:33:41.870 narrative out there that, you [1144] 00:33:42.370 --> 00:33:43.190 know, want humanity to, [1146] 00:33:46.650 --> 00:33:47.830 know, technology is our savior, [1147] 00:33:48.330 --> 00:33:49.670 that technology, that humans [1148] 00:33:50.170 --> 00:33:51.070 can't evolve without technology, [1149] 00:33:51.150 --> 00:33:52.270 let alone their technology, [1150] 00:33:52.350 --> 00:33:53.510 which is another way of just [1151] 00:33:54.010 --> 00:33:54.950 saying, you know, we will call [1152] 00:33:55.450 --> 00:33:56.070 it empowerment, but you're not [1153] 00:33:56.570 --> 00:33:57.270 really being truly empowered [1154] 00:33:57.770 --> 00:33:58.990 because you're beholden to me. [1155] 00:33:59.790 --> 00:34:02.750 Buy my. Yeah, that's right. And [1156] 00:34:03.250 --> 00:34:03.630 so, and then I'm going to get [1157] 00:34:04.130 --> 00:34:05.230 you hooked on my, my crack. [1158] 00:34:05.310 --> 00:34:06.510 Right, which is the ability to [1159] 00:34:07.010 --> 00:34:07.790 get fast answers, the ability [1160] 00:34:08.290 --> 00:34:08.950 [1161] 00:34:09.450 --> 00:34:10.710 other things so that, you know, [1162] 00:34:11.210 --> 00:34:12.390 without me, you know, now [1163] 00:34:12.890 --> 00:34:13.110 you're, now you feel like your [1164] 00:34:13.610 --> 00:34:14.550 life falls apart. Well, that's [1165] 00:34:15.050 --> 00:34:15.750 not very, that's not really very [1166] 00:34:16.250 --> 00:34:18.510 empowering. Right. So the [1167] 00:34:19.010 --> 00:34:20.070 antithesis of empowerment, [1168] 00:34:20.790 --> 00:34:22.710 you're dependent on me to be [1169] 00:34:22.950 --> 00:34:25.990 empowered. And so my focus on it [1170] 00:34:26.490 --> 00:34:27.510 is, you know, so you've got this [1171] 00:34:28.010 --> 00:34:28.990 group of guys that want to say, [1172] 00:34:29.490 --> 00:34:30.590 okay, humans, you used to be [1173] 00:34:31.090 --> 00:34:32.430 carpenters and you used to wield [1174] 00:34:32.930 --> 00:34:34.030 tools. Well, now we're making [1175] 00:34:34.530 --> 00:34:35.790 smarter tools so that you don't [1177] 00:34:37.330 --> 00:34:38.370 carpet. And this is where the [1178] 00:34:38.870 --> 00:34:41.610 one size fits all systems that [1179] 00:34:42.110 --> 00:34:42.890 we have in the, in, you know, [1180] 00:34:43.390 --> 00:34:44.490 in healthcare and education [1181] 00:34:44.890 --> 00:34:46.370 essentially are dumbing, have [1182] 00:34:46.870 --> 00:34:47.410 been dumbing down and [1183] 00:34:47.910 --> 00:34:48.650 conditioning down the human [1184] 00:34:49.530 --> 00:34:52.130 psyche and intelligence and [1185] 00:34:52.630 --> 00:34:53.449 making in some cases causing, [1186] 00:34:54.170 --> 00:34:55.290 like I talked about us having [1187] 00:34:55.790 --> 00:34:56.530 individual physiologies. Well, [1188] 00:34:57.030 --> 00:34:57.770 when your lived reality is [1189] 00:34:58.270 --> 00:34:59.170 different than, you know, and [1190] 00:34:59.670 --> 00:35:00.170 then doctors tell you, no you're [1191] 00:35:00.670 --> 00:35:01.330 not, it's in your head from all [1193] 00:35:02.750 --> 00:35:04.460 health crisis as well. Right? [1194] 00:35:04.540 --> 00:35:05.740 Yeah, right. I know I'm [1195] 00:35:06.240 --> 00:35:06.460 oversimplifying and [1196] 00:35:06.960 --> 00:35:07.860 overgeneralizing that there's [1197] 00:35:08.360 --> 00:35:10.860 more to it than that. So those [1198] 00:35:11.360 --> 00:35:12.380 are two fundamental differences. [1199] 00:35:12.540 --> 00:35:14.340 Yeah, right. But of my approach [1200] 00:35:14.840 --> 00:35:15.500 and then the third piece of [1201] 00:35:16.000 --> 00:35:16.340 where my approach is different [1202] 00:35:16.840 --> 00:35:17.420 is I say, okay look, if we're [1203] 00:35:17.920 --> 00:35:19.619 all here to be learning and [1204] 00:35:20.119 --> 00:35:20.980 understanding things, well then [1205] 00:35:21.480 --> 00:35:22.540 our technology should help us on [1206] 00:35:23.040 --> 00:35:24.860 our, help us navigate the, the [1207] 00:35:24.940 --> 00:35:27.500 [1208] 00:35:28.000 --> 00:35:29.700 instead of, so my simple, my [1209] 00:35:30.200 --> 00:35:31.260 simple approach and differences, [1210] 00:35:31.890 --> 00:35:35.250 where a lot of the focus on the [1211] 00:35:35.330 --> 00:35:36.930 AI features and functionality [1212] 00:35:37.430 --> 00:35:39.250 today is kind of telling you [1213] 00:35:39.750 --> 00:35:41.130 what to do, having you give up [1214] 00:35:41.630 --> 00:35:43.050 your agency to the machine to [1215] 00:35:43.550 --> 00:35:45.010 follow its guidance, which again [1216] 00:35:45.510 --> 00:35:46.370 goes back to this one size fits [1217] 00:35:46.870 --> 00:35:48.210 all, one solution fits all [1218] 00:35:48.370 --> 00:35:50.450 mentality. My approach is [1219] 00:35:51.730 --> 00:35:52.850 providing you the information [1220] 00:35:53.170 --> 00:35:54.530 and the decision making and a [1221] 00:35:55.030 --> 00:35:56.010 decision making methodology to [1222] 00:35:56.510 --> 00:35:57.770 help you both access the [1224] 00:36:00.130 --> 00:36:00.630 how to make a decision for [1225] 00:36:01.130 --> 00:36:02.590 yourself. What's the. Based on [1226] 00:36:03.090 --> 00:36:04.070 your individuality, your [1227] 00:36:04.570 --> 00:36:05.790 situation, your circumstances, [1228] 00:36:05.870 --> 00:36:08.950 your measurements. So can, can I [1229] 00:36:09.450 --> 00:36:10.590 tell you something here? And I'm [1230] 00:36:11.090 --> 00:36:12.270 sorry if I'm interrupting you, [1231] 00:36:12.430 --> 00:36:13.790 but you brought something up [1232] 00:36:14.270 --> 00:36:16.430 that just like hit me right [1233] 00:36:16.930 --> 00:36:18.590 between the eyes because every [1234] 00:36:19.090 --> 00:36:20.270 once in a while, you know, you [1235] 00:36:20.770 --> 00:36:21.270 know, on the social media [1236] 00:36:21.770 --> 00:36:23.070 channels you'll see somebody [1237] 00:36:23.570 --> 00:36:26.360 asking AI These, we'll just call [1238] 00:36:26.860 --> 00:36:28.960 them deep, meaningful, esoteric [1240] 00:36:33.620 --> 00:36:34.520 like, hey, you know what? I've [1241] 00:36:35.020 --> 00:36:35.960 got the program that I like to [1242] 00:36:36.460 --> 00:36:38.360 use, which is not chat GPT, but [1243] 00:36:38.860 --> 00:36:39.880 it's a. It's a different AI [1244] 00:36:40.380 --> 00:36:43.080 program. And I said, I posed the [1245] 00:36:43.580 --> 00:36:45.760 question that I had heard and [1246] 00:36:46.260 --> 00:36:46.960 said, I'm just curious to see [1247] 00:36:47.200 --> 00:36:49.040 where your thoughts are on this. [1248] 00:36:49.520 --> 00:36:50.880 And it gave me the answer. [1249] 00:36:53.660 --> 00:36:55.180 And it asked at the end, is this [1250] 00:36:55.680 --> 00:36:56.900 aligned with your way of [1251] 00:36:57.400 --> 00:36:59.660 thinking? And I said, [1252] 00:37:00.380 --> 00:37:03.380 no, it isn't. And let me tell [1253] 00:37:03.880 --> 00:37:06.380 you why. So instead of it [1254] 00:37:06.460 --> 00:37:09.500 [1255] 00:37:09.740 --> 00:37:12.580 of, and maybe it's designed to [1256] 00:37:13.080 --> 00:37:14.500 do this is to go the way you're [1257] 00:37:15.000 --> 00:37:16.340 going. But I found it [1258] 00:37:16.840 --> 00:37:19.420 interesting that it kept trying [1259] 00:37:19.920 --> 00:37:21.180 to figure out my thought process [1260] 00:37:22.700 --> 00:37:25.740 by, oh, so you mean this? No, [1261] 00:37:25.820 --> 00:37:28.460 not exactly. What I mean is [1262] 00:37:28.540 --> 00:37:30.700 this, oh, well then that [1263] 00:37:31.200 --> 00:37:32.580 contradicts what I had said [1264] 00:37:33.080 --> 00:37:34.180 previously. So just this back [1265] 00:37:34.680 --> 00:37:36.580 and forth. And I just found it [1266] 00:37:37.080 --> 00:37:38.700 interesting because at first, I [1267] 00:37:39.200 --> 00:37:39.620 don't know, I was thinking it [1268] 00:37:40.120 --> 00:37:40.820 might be like the Terminator [1269] 00:37:41.320 --> 00:37:42.380 where it's like, how dare you [1271] 00:37:44.680 --> 00:37:46.380 process? But it really didn't. [1272] 00:37:46.880 --> 00:37:49.800 And it was. I spent probably way [1273] 00:37:50.300 --> 00:37:51.920 too much time going back and [1274] 00:37:52.420 --> 00:37:54.000 forth with it. But I was thought [1275] 00:37:54.500 --> 00:37:57.320 it was a great experiment for [1276] 00:37:57.820 --> 00:37:58.560 that hour and a half or two [1277] 00:37:59.060 --> 00:38:00.280 hours that I spent doing that. [1278] 00:38:00.760 --> 00:38:01.880 Well, I think it's a. This is [1279] 00:38:02.380 --> 00:38:03.360 where it's a subtle maybe [1280] 00:38:03.860 --> 00:38:04.400 subtle, maybe it's not so [1281] 00:38:04.900 --> 00:38:05.160 subtle, but important [1282] 00:38:05.660 --> 00:38:07.040 distinction, which is even in [1283] 00:38:07.540 --> 00:38:08.320 that scenario, it's not helping [1284] 00:38:08.820 --> 00:38:09.440 you to make up a decision. What [1285] 00:38:09.940 --> 00:38:10.760 it's doing is figuring out how [1287] 00:38:13.180 --> 00:38:14.080 persuade you to give up your [1288] 00:38:14.580 --> 00:38:15.640 agency to follow its advice. [1289] 00:38:16.160 --> 00:38:17.760 Right. It's not asking that. [1290] 00:38:18.260 --> 00:38:18.720 That's still what it's doing. [1291] 00:38:19.220 --> 00:38:19.800 Right. It's still asking to give [1292] 00:38:20.300 --> 00:38:20.840 up your agency. Where mine [1293] 00:38:21.340 --> 00:38:22.120 instead is saying, okay, here's [1294] 00:38:22.620 --> 00:38:24.040 a list, here's a list of the [1295] 00:38:24.540 --> 00:38:25.120 five questions you should be [1296] 00:38:25.620 --> 00:38:26.920 asking yourself now based on [1297] 00:38:27.420 --> 00:38:28.800 these answers, what. What do you [1298] 00:38:29.300 --> 00:38:30.080 think you should be doing now? [1299] 00:38:30.580 --> 00:38:31.400 How does that then align with [1300] 00:38:31.900 --> 00:38:33.320 what your end game is? What is [1301] 00:38:33.820 --> 00:38:34.480 [1302] 00:38:34.980 --> 00:38:35.360 it's more of like a decision, [1303] 00:38:35.760 --> 00:38:36.720 you know, it's more of a [1304] 00:38:36.800 --> 00:38:38.760 decision tree so that you can [1305] 00:38:39.260 --> 00:38:39.720 figure it out for yourself. [1306] 00:38:40.220 --> 00:38:41.440 Right. My focus is using AI to [1307] 00:38:41.940 --> 00:38:42.680 help build better carpenters. [1308] 00:38:44.590 --> 00:38:47.270 Yeah. And so that's where, you [1309] 00:38:47.770 --> 00:38:48.550 know, so my. Again, so my focus [1310] 00:38:49.050 --> 00:38:49.950 isn't like a chat GPT or [1311] 00:38:50.450 --> 00:38:50.550 something where I'm going out [1312] 00:38:51.050 --> 00:38:51.910 there and scrape the Internet [1313] 00:38:52.410 --> 00:38:53.590 with information. Google on [1314] 00:38:54.090 --> 00:38:55.310 steroids, right? Yeah. No, I'm [1315] 00:38:55.810 --> 00:38:56.030 Focused in the health and [1316] 00:38:56.530 --> 00:38:57.790 wellness space. And it's. And, [1318] 00:38:59.489 --> 00:39:00.990 like, education, self awareness, [1319] 00:39:02.110 --> 00:39:03.590 decision making, you know, [1320] 00:39:04.090 --> 00:39:04.270 learning how to become [1321] 00:39:04.770 --> 00:39:05.230 comfortable in your own skin. [1322] 00:39:05.730 --> 00:39:06.910 And so, you know, I've written a [1323] 00:39:07.410 --> 00:39:08.270 lot of articles. I've also got, [1324] 00:39:08.670 --> 00:39:09.910 you know, as well as in, like, [1325] 00:39:10.410 --> 00:39:11.190 I've got my podcast, which is [1326] 00:39:11.690 --> 00:39:12.110 Understanding the Science of [1327] 00:39:12.610 --> 00:39:14.090 youf. And then my, you know, I [1328] 00:39:14.590 --> 00:39:14.970 didn't come with an owner's [1329] 00:39:15.470 --> 00:39:16.250 manual video series, both of [1330] 00:39:16.750 --> 00:39:17.370 which kind of talk about this [1331] 00:39:17.530 --> 00:39:19.010 topic of being a consciousness [1332] 00:39:19.510 --> 00:39:20.970 and the intelligent design. So [1334] 00:39:23.390 --> 00:39:24.370 establish what their health and [1335] 00:39:24.870 --> 00:39:26.250 wellness goals are. Now it's [1336] 00:39:26.750 --> 00:39:27.570 about, okay, how does this tool [1337] 00:39:28.070 --> 00:39:28.930 both give me access to the [1338] 00:39:29.430 --> 00:39:30.490 information that I need that's [1339] 00:39:30.990 --> 00:39:32.050 based on what I care about, but [1340] 00:39:32.550 --> 00:39:33.410 then also providing me like, [1341] 00:39:33.910 --> 00:39:34.850 that decisioning framework that [1342] 00:39:35.350 --> 00:39:36.730 I can follow to help me figure [1343] 00:39:37.230 --> 00:39:38.460 out how to make sense of it and [1344] 00:39:38.960 --> 00:39:40.220 take action with it in a way [1345] 00:39:40.720 --> 00:39:42.380 that is aligned with where I [1346] 00:39:42.880 --> 00:39:43.060 want to go. [1347] 00:39:46.100 --> 00:39:49.540 And I think that's [1348] 00:39:49.940 --> 00:39:51.580 [1349] 00:39:52.080 --> 00:39:53.820 because I. I refer to it as a [1350] 00:39:54.320 --> 00:39:55.020 tool. Right. And that's what [1351] 00:39:55.520 --> 00:39:58.220 you're talking about as well. A [1352] 00:39:58.720 --> 00:40:00.980 tool to make a tool to help [1353] 00:40:01.060 --> 00:40:02.580 somebody else. But there's. [1354] 00:40:04.030 --> 00:40:06.990 Yeah, I like that approach. The [1355] 00:40:07.490 --> 00:40:07.950 other way you could say is, you [1356] 00:40:08.450 --> 00:40:09.430 know, the way that AI is being [1357] 00:40:09.930 --> 00:40:10.790 created is a replication of [1358] 00:40:11.290 --> 00:40:12.310 consciousness. The difference, [1359] 00:40:12.810 --> 00:40:15.510 though is AI is being done from [1360] 00:40:16.010 --> 00:40:16.910 the perspective of a hive mind. [1361] 00:40:18.750 --> 00:40:21.390 Okay. Right. Okay. Yeah. Where [1362] 00:40:21.890 --> 00:40:22.910 consciousness is based on [1363] 00:40:23.230 --> 00:40:24.990 individuality. Right. And a hive [1365] 00:40:26.970 --> 00:40:28.150 from Star Trek, where it's, you [1366] 00:40:28.650 --> 00:40:31.150 know, where it's. The AI mind is [1367] 00:40:31.650 --> 00:40:32.790 pushing information out, but it [1368] 00:40:33.290 --> 00:40:34.100 doesn't necessarily. But it's. [1369] 00:40:34.810 --> 00:40:36.890 And it is. I mean, let's hear. [1370] 00:40:37.690 --> 00:40:39.090 It's both. It's pushing [1371] 00:40:39.590 --> 00:40:40.490 information out, but it's [1372] 00:40:40.990 --> 00:40:43.050 pushing information out based on [1373] 00:40:43.550 --> 00:40:46.130 one perspective. This is [1374] 00:40:46.630 --> 00:40:47.290 something that's very technical. [1375] 00:40:47.450 --> 00:40:49.370 I roast me for this, for the way [1376] 00:40:49.870 --> 00:40:51.130 I'm going about this, but I [1377] 00:40:51.630 --> 00:40:52.290 don't know how you're safe with [1378] 00:40:52.790 --> 00:40:53.290 me because I'm not very [1379] 00:40:53.790 --> 00:40:54.530 technical. Yeah. I'm just [1381] 00:40:56.030 --> 00:40:57.130 listening. Right. Yeah. You [1382] 00:40:57.630 --> 00:40:58.290 know, that some parts of this [1383] 00:40:58.790 --> 00:40:59.530 example may be landing. Some [1384] 00:40:59.610 --> 00:41:02.580 are. So anyway, the. But it. [1385] 00:41:03.080 --> 00:41:04.100 What it's not doing, though, is [1386] 00:41:04.600 --> 00:41:05.300 helping you to figure yourself [1387] 00:41:05.800 --> 00:41:06.740 out as an individual. So even [1388] 00:41:07.240 --> 00:41:07.860 though, yeah, you can put. Get [1389] 00:41:08.360 --> 00:41:08.980 information back into the [1390] 00:41:09.480 --> 00:41:10.420 system, the system is still [1391] 00:41:10.920 --> 00:41:11.740 guiding the way it's giving you [1392] 00:41:12.240 --> 00:41:13.100 the information is still guiding [1393] 00:41:13.600 --> 00:41:16.259 you towards thinking like the [1394] 00:41:16.759 --> 00:41:18.020 collective. It's not necessary. [1395] 00:41:18.520 --> 00:41:19.300 [1396] 00:41:19.800 --> 00:41:20.980 how to Expand the box, right? [1397] 00:41:21.480 --> 00:41:22.460 So AI, you know, just like any [1398] 00:41:22.960 --> 00:41:24.180 computer, right, it does best [1399] 00:41:24.680 --> 00:41:25.300 when it can be, when it can [1400] 00:41:25.800 --> 00:41:27.440 optimize within a box. But [1401] 00:41:27.940 --> 00:41:28.600 humans need to be the ones that [1402] 00:41:29.100 --> 00:41:30.320 are focused on always creating a [1403] 00:41:30.820 --> 00:41:33.320 larger box. And that's, and [1404] 00:41:33.820 --> 00:41:34.400 that's, that's my belief, [1405] 00:41:34.560 --> 00:41:36.000 right? And so we need to be [1406] 00:41:36.500 --> 00:41:37.680 focused on as humans, how do we [1407] 00:41:38.180 --> 00:41:39.760 keep, you know, we allow and use [1408] 00:41:40.260 --> 00:41:41.640 technology as a tool to help us [1409] 00:41:42.140 --> 00:41:43.160 with efficiencies, right? To [1410] 00:41:43.660 --> 00:41:44.880 help us optimize within the box. [1412] 00:41:47.180 --> 00:41:48.280 that if we spend our time optic [1413] 00:41:48.780 --> 00:41:49.560 constantly optimizing within the [1414] 00:41:50.060 --> 00:41:51.280 box, we've forgotten about our [1415] 00:41:51.780 --> 00:41:52.320 growth. And just like any [1416] 00:41:52.820 --> 00:41:53.640 business, you could, you know, [1417] 00:41:54.140 --> 00:41:54.600 you can only squeeze your [1418] 00:41:55.100 --> 00:41:55.760 margins just so much. You can [1419] 00:41:56.260 --> 00:41:56.920 only cut your costs just so [1420] 00:41:57.420 --> 00:41:58.470 much. At some point you have, [1421] 00:41:58.540 --> 00:41:59.620 have to grow market share to [1422] 00:42:00.120 --> 00:42:01.100 grow, right? And so you have, [1423] 00:42:01.600 --> 00:42:02.540 you can't just be on efficiency, [1424] 00:42:03.040 --> 00:42:03.380 you have to work on your [1425] 00:42:03.880 --> 00:42:06.220 effectiveness. And so likewise, [1426] 00:42:06.720 --> 00:42:07.860 right, with using AI, my focus [1428] 00:42:09.840 --> 00:42:10.420 of it and letting these other [1429] 00:42:10.920 --> 00:42:11.820 guys worry about efficiencies. [1430] 00:42:12.460 --> 00:42:15.580 I, again, I, I like your, [1431] 00:42:16.300 --> 00:42:19.060 your approach with this and [1432] 00:42:19.560 --> 00:42:21.380 there was something that I had [1433] 00:42:21.880 --> 00:42:25.030 picked up in the research that I [1434] 00:42:25.530 --> 00:42:26.990 was doing on you. And this is [1435] 00:42:27.490 --> 00:42:28.070 something that, you know, [1436] 00:42:28.550 --> 00:42:32.470 people say, especially those [1437] 00:42:32.970 --> 00:42:35.430 that are in your space, but, [1438] 00:42:35.590 --> 00:42:38.030 you know, and I'll just, I'll [1439] 00:42:38.530 --> 00:42:40.149 just spit it out. So you say [1440] 00:42:40.649 --> 00:42:42.430 that humans aren't broken, that [1441] 00:42:42.930 --> 00:42:43.990 the systems are. That's right. [1442] 00:42:44.310 --> 00:42:45.910 [1443] 00:42:47.190 --> 00:42:48.310 But here's my question. [1444] 00:42:51.120 --> 00:42:54.720 If the systems are that broken, [1445] 00:42:55.520 --> 00:42:58.240 why do so many of us keep opting [1446] 00:42:58.740 --> 00:43:01.280 back in? So what's the spiritual [1447] 00:43:01.780 --> 00:43:04.560 explanation for that? Well, the [1448] 00:43:04.720 --> 00:43:06.120 short answer, boy, this is, [1449] 00:43:06.620 --> 00:43:08.440 this is, like I said, if we just [1450] 00:43:08.940 --> 00:43:09.640 trust, you know, the universe to [1451] 00:43:10.140 --> 00:43:10.680 guide this conversation, good [1452] 00:43:11.180 --> 00:43:11.560 things will come. And this is [1453] 00:43:12.060 --> 00:43:13.120 another great example of that. [1454] 00:43:13.280 --> 00:43:14.520 So here's my, I would, I would [1455] 00:43:15.020 --> 00:43:15.360 ask you back is what are your [1456] 00:43:22.750 --> 00:43:24.590 Again, I'll go from personal [1457] 00:43:25.090 --> 00:43:28.150 experience because I know and I [1459] 00:43:31.389 --> 00:43:33.790 familiarity, right? You look for [1460] 00:43:34.290 --> 00:43:35.110 things that you've done, things [1461] 00:43:35.610 --> 00:43:36.150 that are comfortable because [1462] 00:43:36.650 --> 00:43:40.590 it's known. So your [1463] 00:43:42.040 --> 00:43:45.000 system is to go back with the [1464] 00:43:45.500 --> 00:43:47.120 known. You can do that. That's a [1465] 00:43:47.620 --> 00:43:48.320 comfortable system. Even though [1466] 00:43:48.820 --> 00:43:50.720 it can be painful, it doesn't [1467] 00:43:51.220 --> 00:43:52.000 allow for growth and it doesn't [1468] 00:43:52.500 --> 00:43:54.240 allow for a lot of positivity or [1469] 00:43:54.740 --> 00:43:55.520 positive things to occur in your [1470] 00:43:56.020 --> 00:43:59.800 life. Or you can go [1471] 00:44:00.300 --> 00:44:02.200 with the front end discomfort [1472] 00:44:02.920 --> 00:44:05.400 and make those changes and break [1473] 00:44:05.900 --> 00:44:07.650 away from it. So. Apologies, I [1475] 00:44:08.670 --> 00:44:10.010 No, no, no, no, no, please. I [1476] 00:44:10.510 --> 00:44:11.090 was gonna say, I'm gonna make it [1477] 00:44:11.590 --> 00:44:12.090 even a little more simple than [1478] 00:44:12.590 --> 00:44:13.090 that. Okay. [1479] 00:44:15.970 --> 00:44:17.330 When I say the choices available [1480] 00:44:17.570 --> 00:44:20.850 in the way that the world is set [1481] 00:44:21.350 --> 00:44:23.090 up, if you want to live [1482] 00:44:23.590 --> 00:44:24.210 somewhere, it requires money. [1483] 00:44:24.690 --> 00:44:26.370 Whether you want to own or rent, [1484] 00:44:26.770 --> 00:44:27.810 it's gonna require money. [1485] 00:44:28.310 --> 00:44:29.650 Right? True. So you've got to [1486] 00:44:30.150 --> 00:44:31.610 get a job. Now then your choices [1487] 00:44:32.110 --> 00:44:33.050 are to work for somebody else or [1488] 00:44:33.550 --> 00:44:36.000 work for yourself. Okay? Right. [1489] 00:44:36.160 --> 00:44:37.760 [1490] 00:44:38.260 --> 00:44:38.720 there's a lot of people that, [1491] 00:44:39.220 --> 00:44:40.040 you know, either whether it be [1492] 00:44:40.540 --> 00:44:42.040 for spiritual reasons, quality [1493] 00:44:42.540 --> 00:44:43.280 of life, you know, they just [1494] 00:44:43.780 --> 00:44:44.080 realize that work for somebody [1495] 00:44:44.580 --> 00:44:44.960 else isn't their thing. They, [1496] 00:44:45.460 --> 00:44:46.120 and you know, they become self [1497] 00:44:46.620 --> 00:44:48.400 employed. But you know, that [1498] 00:44:48.900 --> 00:44:49.560 look, that's. No, anyone that's, [1499] 00:44:50.060 --> 00:44:50.560 that's gone that route knows [1500] 00:44:51.060 --> 00:44:51.760 that that is not as simple. [1501] 00:44:53.040 --> 00:44:54.200 Right. And that's not the path [1502] 00:44:54.700 --> 00:44:55.760 for everybody. So that's what [1503] 00:44:56.260 --> 00:44:57.040 I'm. And so if you really want. [1504] 00:44:57.540 --> 00:44:58.120 So when you think about what are [1506] 00:45:00.060 --> 00:45:00.720 You, you know, you want food, [1507] 00:45:01.630 --> 00:45:02.550 generally speaking, unless [1508] 00:45:03.050 --> 00:45:03.990 you're living on a farm or in a [1509] 00:45:04.490 --> 00:45:05.430 farming community where you can, [1510] 00:45:05.930 --> 00:45:06.710 you know, trade, you know, [1511] 00:45:07.210 --> 00:45:08.350 produce with people, again, it [1512] 00:45:08.850 --> 00:45:09.830 requires money to go somewhere [1513] 00:45:10.330 --> 00:45:12.350 to go and buy these things. So [1514] 00:45:12.850 --> 00:45:13.830 you don't really have much of a [1515] 00:45:14.330 --> 00:45:15.430 choice. Your choices are very [1516] 00:45:15.930 --> 00:45:17.230 limited as far as getting out of [1517] 00:45:17.730 --> 00:45:19.750 the system. Right. It's, it's [1518] 00:45:20.250 --> 00:45:20.990 really about, okay, how can I [1519] 00:45:21.310 --> 00:45:22.830 best figure out how to play [1520] 00:45:23.330 --> 00:45:23.950 within this system. [1522] 00:45:32.030 --> 00:45:32.770 can I find a compromise between [1523] 00:45:33.170 --> 00:45:34.410 what I'm willing to compromise [1524] 00:45:34.910 --> 00:45:35.970 of myself to operate and [1525] 00:45:36.470 --> 00:45:37.170 navigate within the existing [1526] 00:45:37.670 --> 00:45:38.330 systems. Right. And that, and [1527] 00:45:38.830 --> 00:45:39.610 that tends to be what it comes [1528] 00:45:40.110 --> 00:45:40.450 down to. So that's what I said. [1529] 00:45:40.950 --> 00:45:41.210 There's not really a lot of [1530] 00:45:41.710 --> 00:45:42.050 choices that are available, [1531] 00:45:42.610 --> 00:45:43.970 which is where a lot of, you [1532] 00:45:44.470 --> 00:45:46.050 know, my work is, is focused on [1533] 00:45:46.550 --> 00:45:47.450 demonstrating new systems. [1534] 00:45:47.950 --> 00:45:48.490 Right. So like in the health and [1535] 00:45:48.990 --> 00:45:49.970 wellness space, right. It's [1536] 00:45:50.470 --> 00:45:51.170 [1537] 00:45:51.670 --> 00:45:52.690 scalable solutions for [1538] 00:45:53.190 --> 00:45:53.580 individualized fitness [1539] 00:45:53.890 --> 00:45:55.490 physiologies. Because that's, [1540] 00:45:55.990 --> 00:45:56.850 that's the, one of the pushbacks [1541] 00:45:57.350 --> 00:45:58.290 is that, well, if everybody's a [1542] 00:45:58.790 --> 00:45:59.290 snowflake, then how can you [1543] 00:45:59.790 --> 00:46:00.050 really, how can you have a [1544] 00:46:00.550 --> 00:46:01.250 system that supports everything? [1545] 00:46:01.750 --> 00:46:03.050 Right, right. Okay. And so [1546] 00:46:03.550 --> 00:46:04.090 therefore, then it just gets [1547] 00:46:04.590 --> 00:46:05.370 dismissed. It's too difficult, [1548] 00:46:05.870 --> 00:46:08.290 it's not possible, you know, or [1549] 00:46:08.790 --> 00:46:09.529 everything gets distilled down [1550] 00:46:10.029 --> 00:46:11.610 to a, by a chart. Right? Is, [1551] 00:46:12.110 --> 00:46:13.130 and so, you know that people are [1553] 00:46:14.630 --> 00:46:15.170 chart and trying to figure out [1554] 00:46:15.670 --> 00:46:16.490 as many biomarkers about the [1555] 00:46:16.990 --> 00:46:18.810 human body as possible to, as an [1556] 00:46:19.310 --> 00:46:19.890 approach to, you know, [1557] 00:46:20.390 --> 00:46:20.930 individuality. Or [1558] 00:46:21.010 --> 00:46:22.950 personalization. And there's [1559] 00:46:23.450 --> 00:46:23.950 certainly an element of that, [1560] 00:46:24.450 --> 00:46:25.470 but it's, but that is again [1561] 00:46:25.970 --> 00:46:27.230 based on a basis of the, of [1562] 00:46:27.730 --> 00:46:29.030 reality being purely physical [1563] 00:46:29.530 --> 00:46:29.870 versus, you know, [1564] 00:46:30.370 --> 00:46:32.550 consciousness. And so my. And so [1565] 00:46:32.630 --> 00:46:34.350 as opposed to just saying, you [1566] 00:46:34.850 --> 00:46:35.510 know, the systems are broken, [1567] 00:46:35.750 --> 00:46:37.310 you know, by being able to [1569] 00:46:39.570 --> 00:46:40.630 protocols, you know, healing [1570] 00:46:41.130 --> 00:46:42.390 traumas and things of that [1571] 00:46:42.890 --> 00:46:43.470 nature. And like many of your [1572] 00:46:43.970 --> 00:46:44.670 guests are doing aspects of this [1573] 00:46:45.170 --> 00:46:46.710 as well. You know, when you, [1574] 00:46:47.210 --> 00:46:48.190 when you prove that something is [1575] 00:46:48.690 --> 00:46:49.150 possible, somebody can't say [1576] 00:46:49.650 --> 00:46:50.900 it's impossible. Correct. I [1577] 00:46:51.400 --> 00:46:51.860 mean, they can, but you know, [1578] 00:46:52.360 --> 00:46:53.340 they're not really serious when [1579] 00:46:53.840 --> 00:46:54.540 you disagree with what's going [1580] 00:46:55.040 --> 00:46:56.180 on in front of you. Right. So my [1581] 00:46:56.680 --> 00:46:58.460 focus is showing these how to [1582] 00:46:58.960 --> 00:47:00.260 create individualized systems [1583] 00:47:00.740 --> 00:47:02.380 [1584] 00:47:02.880 --> 00:47:03.660 how to, how to, you know, [1585] 00:47:04.160 --> 00:47:04.780 invest in the humans as the [1586] 00:47:05.280 --> 00:47:06.780 carpenter. And in doing so then [1587] 00:47:07.280 --> 00:47:07.820 they can make better use of the [1588] 00:47:08.320 --> 00:47:09.660 tools that are available. And in [1589] 00:47:10.160 --> 00:47:10.780 doing so now I can create [1590] 00:47:11.280 --> 00:47:14.340 systemic change to, to. And [1591] 00:47:14.840 --> 00:47:15.940 also. And as part of that. [1592] 00:47:16.440 --> 00:47:17.300 Right. Is also demonstrating how [1593] 00:47:17.800 --> 00:47:18.380 these spiritual principles [1594] 00:47:18.880 --> 00:47:19.820 actually lead into successful [1595] 00:47:20.320 --> 00:47:20.640 business businesses. Right. [1596] 00:47:21.140 --> 00:47:22.400 It's kind of demystifying a lot [1597] 00:47:22.900 --> 00:47:24.240 of the woo woo or the, or the [1598] 00:47:24.740 --> 00:47:26.320 black magic that gets, that gets [1600] 00:47:27.860 --> 00:47:29.640 stuff. And, and so that's my way [1601] 00:47:30.140 --> 00:47:31.240 of creating changes by [1602] 00:47:31.740 --> 00:47:32.440 demonstrating there is another [1603] 00:47:32.940 --> 00:47:33.720 way to play this game of life. [1604] 00:47:33.800 --> 00:47:35.160 There is another way to create. [1605] 00:47:35.660 --> 00:47:36.519 I don't. Creating a [1606] 00:47:37.080 --> 00:47:39.200 complementary set of systems to [1607] 00:47:39.700 --> 00:47:40.360 make up for what's lacking [1608] 00:47:40.860 --> 00:47:42.320 within the existing systems so [1609] 00:47:42.820 --> 00:47:43.680 that people can be supported as [1610] 00:47:44.180 --> 00:47:45.040 individuals. You know, like an [1611] 00:47:45.540 --> 00:47:46.000 example of this would be there's [1612] 00:47:46.500 --> 00:47:47.520 a kid, a young man named Dane [1613] 00:47:48.390 --> 00:47:50.630 and he's a non verbal autistic. [1614] 00:47:51.990 --> 00:47:53.230 And so if you, you know, [1616] 00:47:55.050 --> 00:47:55.350 right, well this kid's not going [1617] 00:47:55.850 --> 00:47:56.910 to become a taxpayer. He's not [1618] 00:47:57.410 --> 00:47:58.190 going to, you know, so therefore [1619] 00:47:58.690 --> 00:48:01.070 his value is diminished. Is [1620] 00:48:01.570 --> 00:48:02.030 diminished. That's right. And [1621] 00:48:02.530 --> 00:48:03.350 then, and instead, you know, [1622] 00:48:03.850 --> 00:48:05.590 he's got a wonderful family and [1623] 00:48:05.910 --> 00:48:07.870 his brother and sister, they, [1624] 00:48:08.370 --> 00:48:09.150 they provide individualized [1625] 00:48:09.650 --> 00:48:11.310 accommodations to him and fill [1626] 00:48:11.810 --> 00:48:12.590 in the gaps as like a project [1627] 00:48:13.090 --> 00:48:13.950 manager and other things. And as [1628] 00:48:14.450 --> 00:48:15.390 a result of this, without any [1629] 00:48:15.890 --> 00:48:17.230 schooling at all. Right. Dane's [1630] 00:48:17.730 --> 00:48:18.550 [1631] 00:48:19.050 --> 00:48:19.990 an award winning animator. [1632] 00:48:20.630 --> 00:48:22.470 That's so awesome. And now. [1633] 00:48:22.630 --> 00:48:23.990 That's right. And so now he is, [1634] 00:48:24.070 --> 00:48:25.470 and so he is now a, you know, [1635] 00:48:25.970 --> 00:48:27.030 tax paying, productive member of [1636] 00:48:27.530 --> 00:48:28.910 society without limitations [1637] 00:48:29.410 --> 00:48:30.630 because he's properly supported. [1638] 00:48:30.790 --> 00:48:31.910 Right. And when we think about. [1639] 00:48:32.950 --> 00:48:34.350 Yeah. And these individualized [1640] 00:48:34.850 --> 00:48:35.550 accommodations, people be like, [1641] 00:48:36.050 --> 00:48:36.430 oh, everyone's a snowflake. [1642] 00:48:36.930 --> 00:48:37.230 Well, hold up, let's back up [1643] 00:48:37.730 --> 00:48:38.230 this bus Here. Well, what do you [1644] 00:48:38.730 --> 00:48:39.270 think? What did unions fight [1645] 00:48:39.770 --> 00:48:40.670 for? Didn't unions fight for [1647] 00:48:42.390 --> 00:48:44.550 Yeah, right. Isn't, Isn't, you [1648] 00:48:45.050 --> 00:48:46.510 know, equal pay for equal work, [1649] 00:48:47.010 --> 00:48:47.830 all those different things? [1650] 00:48:47.990 --> 00:48:49.670 That's right. So let's not that [1651] 00:48:50.170 --> 00:48:51.510 just happened to be, though this [1652] 00:48:52.010 --> 00:48:52.950 set of challenges that, you [1653] 00:48:53.450 --> 00:48:54.030 know, happened to be much more [1654] 00:48:54.530 --> 00:48:55.470 common. And so you had a much [1655] 00:48:55.970 --> 00:48:57.190 larger group that spoke out. [1656] 00:48:57.430 --> 00:48:59.350 Right. But let's, you know, [1657] 00:48:59.850 --> 00:49:01.190 let's, let's not forget that [1658] 00:49:01.270 --> 00:49:02.430 these things are already, have [1659] 00:49:02.930 --> 00:49:03.710 already been displayed in the [1660] 00:49:04.210 --> 00:49:05.630 power of that. Now we just need [1661] 00:49:06.130 --> 00:49:07.590 to figure out how do we allow [1663] 00:49:10.330 --> 00:49:11.390 provided accommodations for one [1664] 00:49:11.890 --> 00:49:13.430 group of people to recognize the [1665] 00:49:13.930 --> 00:49:14.670 power in doing that figure how [1666] 00:49:15.170 --> 00:49:15.790 to do that for everybody. [1667] 00:49:16.670 --> 00:49:18.030 Gotcha. Right? And when you [1668] 00:49:18.530 --> 00:49:18.750 start to figure out how to do [1669] 00:49:19.250 --> 00:49:20.030 that for everybody, now you also [1670] 00:49:20.530 --> 00:49:21.990 start to focus on. Now, now, [1671] 00:49:22.490 --> 00:49:23.270 businesses get created, [1672] 00:49:23.770 --> 00:49:25.110 products get developed, tax [1673] 00:49:25.610 --> 00:49:27.190 dollars get created, and it's, [1674] 00:49:27.690 --> 00:49:28.310 and it's all working within a [1675] 00:49:28.810 --> 00:49:30.270 capitalist system. But it's [1676] 00:49:30.770 --> 00:49:32.070 also, but it's merging spiritual [1677] 00:49:32.570 --> 00:49:33.230 [1678] 00:49:34.120 --> 00:49:35.320 empathy, it's merging [1679] 00:49:36.520 --> 00:49:37.840 stewardship, which is the other [1680] 00:49:38.340 --> 00:49:38.600 thing that's really, I think [1681] 00:49:39.100 --> 00:49:40.040 empathy and stewardship, you [1682] 00:49:40.540 --> 00:49:41.120 know, are the two things that [1683] 00:49:41.620 --> 00:49:43.640 you can absolutely build and [1684] 00:49:44.140 --> 00:49:45.960 have as foundations that allow [1685] 00:49:46.460 --> 00:49:49.400 capitalism and spirituality to, [1686] 00:49:49.639 --> 00:49:51.640 you know, work together. Right. [1687] 00:49:52.200 --> 00:49:56.040 You know, I, I, as I'm sitting [1688] 00:49:56.540 --> 00:49:58.080 here and we're sitting here and [1689] 00:49:58.580 --> 00:50:00.650 we're talking, it just dawned [1690] 00:50:01.150 --> 00:50:03.170 upon me. I was like, damn, I [1691] 00:50:03.670 --> 00:50:05.010 realize what a luxury. You [1692] 00:50:05.510 --> 00:50:06.810 mentioned luxury before, but [1694] 00:50:09.230 --> 00:50:10.210 podcaster like Joe Rogan has [1695] 00:50:10.710 --> 00:50:12.290 that can talk, it can have his [1696] 00:50:12.790 --> 00:50:13.690 show for three hours. Because [1697] 00:50:14.190 --> 00:50:15.610 there's so many things just in [1698] 00:50:16.110 --> 00:50:17.570 that last back and forth with, [1699] 00:50:18.070 --> 00:50:20.130 with us that I could talk about [1700] 00:50:20.210 --> 00:50:22.610 for hours. You know, the, the [1701] 00:50:23.110 --> 00:50:25.930 whole. Because somebody else has [1702] 00:50:26.430 --> 00:50:27.050 done it, you know, it could be [1703] 00:50:27.550 --> 00:50:28.290 done before. It's not that [1704] 00:50:29.620 --> 00:50:32.180 foreign, right? It's. [1705] 00:50:33.300 --> 00:50:35.660 That is, that hits home to me [1706] 00:50:36.160 --> 00:50:38.300 because of weighing about 400 [1707] 00:50:38.800 --> 00:50:40.660 pounds, and then David Goggins [1708] 00:50:40.820 --> 00:50:42.860 didn't weigh 400 pounds, but he [1710] 00:50:46.040 --> 00:50:46.820 he wanted to lose in order to go [1711] 00:50:47.320 --> 00:50:47.980 into the military in a short [1712] 00:50:48.480 --> 00:50:50.260 period of time. I said, if he, [1713] 00:50:50.660 --> 00:50:52.540 somebody did it, because he did [1714] 00:50:53.040 --> 00:50:55.370 it. So if he could do it, why [1715] 00:50:55.870 --> 00:51:00.090 can't I? So I did that almost [1716] 00:51:00.590 --> 00:51:02.010 in his time frame. It took me a [1717] 00:51:02.510 --> 00:51:02.930 little bit longer, but I was [1718] 00:51:03.430 --> 00:51:06.250 pretty close. And it goes for [1719] 00:51:06.750 --> 00:51:09.810 other things, the podcast, for [1720] 00:51:10.310 --> 00:51:11.170 writing a book, for doing this, [1721] 00:51:11.670 --> 00:51:12.490 for the, all these different [1722] 00:51:12.990 --> 00:51:14.730 things that somebody else did it [1723] 00:51:14.890 --> 00:51:16.450 before you. So, you know, it can [1724] 00:51:16.950 --> 00:51:18.250 [1725] 00:51:18.750 --> 00:51:21.100 what you want to do. This is a [1726] 00:51:21.600 --> 00:51:22.700 great point. And so I'll use the [1727] 00:51:23.200 --> 00:51:23.700 weight loss. Right. So I think [1728] 00:51:24.200 --> 00:51:24.540 that this is the problem with [1729] 00:51:25.040 --> 00:51:25.900 these one size fits all systems [1730] 00:51:26.400 --> 00:51:27.100 that, you know, where people [1731] 00:51:27.600 --> 00:51:28.780 say, I did this. This is all you [1732] 00:51:29.280 --> 00:51:30.220 need to do. Well, if you do [1733] 00:51:30.720 --> 00:51:31.540 exactly what they did and you [1734] 00:51:32.040 --> 00:51:32.620 don't get those results, well, [1735] 00:51:33.120 --> 00:51:33.940 now you feel broken, now you [1736] 00:51:34.440 --> 00:51:35.820 feel ignorant, all kinds of [1737] 00:51:36.320 --> 00:51:37.300 unproductive stuff, right? Yes. [1738] 00:51:37.800 --> 00:51:38.780 And so the focus on the [1739] 00:51:39.280 --> 00:51:40.140 individualization and helping [1741] 00:51:41.600 --> 00:51:43.060 as an individual then goes, [1742] 00:51:43.560 --> 00:51:44.220 okay, well, is the challenge [1743] 00:51:44.720 --> 00:51:45.940 with your weight loss because [1744] 00:51:46.440 --> 00:51:48.000 of, is it because of carrying [1745] 00:51:48.500 --> 00:51:49.520 guilt? Is it because of carrying [1746] 00:51:50.020 --> 00:51:51.520 shame? Is it be, you know, is, [1747] 00:51:51.600 --> 00:51:54.120 is, is food advice? Is, is it, [1748] 00:51:54.620 --> 00:51:56.520 is it exercise? Right? Is it, [1749] 00:51:57.020 --> 00:51:58.560 is it a hormonal, you know, [1750] 00:51:59.060 --> 00:51:59.800 balance? Is it, you know, is it [1751] 00:52:00.300 --> 00:52:01.080 physical? Is it consciousness? [1752] 00:52:01.580 --> 00:52:02.200 Is it something that you, you [1753] 00:52:02.700 --> 00:52:03.320 know, that you're made to learn [1754] 00:52:03.820 --> 00:52:04.240 from? Is it something that's [1755] 00:52:04.740 --> 00:52:05.680 trauma related? But the problem [1757] 00:52:07.140 --> 00:52:08.080 they don't necessarily give you [1758] 00:52:08.640 --> 00:52:11.120 all of, they don't give you, [1759] 00:52:11.360 --> 00:52:12.960 yeah. Nor do they then help you [1760] 00:52:13.460 --> 00:52:13.920 to figure out how to, how to [1761] 00:52:14.420 --> 00:52:14.880 figure that out for yourself. [1762] 00:52:15.380 --> 00:52:15.600 Right. Because even if they gave [1763] 00:52:16.100 --> 00:52:16.360 you the list, you're like, man, [1764] 00:52:16.860 --> 00:52:17.320 how do I do it? Where do I even [1765] 00:52:17.820 --> 00:52:19.980 start? Exactly. There's 150 [1766] 00:52:20.480 --> 00:52:21.340 things on here. Where do I [1767] 00:52:21.840 --> 00:52:22.460 start? And so that's what, [1768] 00:52:22.960 --> 00:52:23.380 again, that's what, that's what, [1769] 00:52:23.880 --> 00:52:24.740 what, what I focus, what we [1770] 00:52:25.240 --> 00:52:26.780 focus on, you know, in the, you [1771] 00:52:27.280 --> 00:52:27.980 [1772] 00:52:28.480 --> 00:52:28.900 Health Institute, we're just [1773] 00:52:29.400 --> 00:52:29.860 getting that up and running and [1774] 00:52:30.360 --> 00:52:32.020 started Here is part of that is [1775] 00:52:32.520 --> 00:52:33.300 saying, hey, here's all of the [1776] 00:52:33.800 --> 00:52:34.220 different things that can [1777] 00:52:34.720 --> 00:52:35.420 contribute to this. Now let's [1778] 00:52:35.820 --> 00:52:37.140 work with you to figure out [1779] 00:52:37.640 --> 00:52:38.860 which of these applies to you so [1780] 00:52:39.360 --> 00:52:40.100 that you can put your energies [1781] 00:52:40.600 --> 00:52:42.220 towards, so you can get the roi. [1782] 00:52:42.620 --> 00:52:45.500 Yes. On your investment of time [1783] 00:52:46.040 --> 00:52:47.400 to get the outcome you desire. [1784] 00:52:47.880 --> 00:52:49.120 Because there's nothing that's [1785] 00:52:49.620 --> 00:52:50.240 more disheartening than doing [1786] 00:52:50.740 --> 00:52:51.720 the, that the experts say to do [1788] 00:52:52.900 --> 00:52:54.640 results. Right, right. Yeah, [1789] 00:52:55.140 --> 00:52:56.280 that, that is maddening. And [1790] 00:52:56.780 --> 00:52:58.000 then to your point, you do feel [1791] 00:52:58.500 --> 00:53:00.360 less than, well, they, other [1792] 00:53:00.860 --> 00:53:01.400 people must be doing this. [1793] 00:53:01.900 --> 00:53:03.000 There's, they're successful, [1794] 00:53:03.500 --> 00:53:04.120 they're this, they're that, and [1795] 00:53:04.620 --> 00:53:08.920 I am not. So, yeah, I, I again, [1796] 00:53:09.420 --> 00:53:11.400 I could talk about this forever, [1797] 00:53:11.480 --> 00:53:13.730 but we have to move on to our [1798] 00:53:14.230 --> 00:53:15.570 musical questions. Oh, boy. [1799] 00:53:16.070 --> 00:53:17.530 Okay with that. Oh, yeah, these [1800] 00:53:18.030 --> 00:53:18.690 were, these, yeah. This was [1801] 00:53:19.190 --> 00:53:21.810 quite an interesting time here [1802] 00:53:22.310 --> 00:53:22.930 today. Think, thinking this [1804] 00:53:24.910 --> 00:53:25.930 figure out my answers. Well, [1805] 00:53:26.430 --> 00:53:28.690 I'M Well, I. I'm glad if I put [1806] 00:53:29.190 --> 00:53:29.650 you on the spot a little bit. [1807] 00:53:30.150 --> 00:53:31.330 I'm. I'm happy that that [1808] 00:53:31.830 --> 00:53:33.930 happened because you came, you [1809] 00:53:34.430 --> 00:53:35.770 came through it very, very well. [1810] 00:53:36.730 --> 00:53:39.370 And I appreciate you for being [1811] 00:53:39.870 --> 00:53:41.050 open and honest in your answers. [1812] 00:53:41.550 --> 00:53:42.810 So I definitely appreciate that [1813] 00:53:42.970 --> 00:53:44.090 anybody could tell you that's [1814] 00:53:44.590 --> 00:53:46.290 ever listened to the podcast, [1815] 00:53:46.790 --> 00:53:49.210 they know that this is the part [1816] 00:53:49.290 --> 00:53:52.770 pillar that I have that [1817] 00:53:53.270 --> 00:53:55.130 opportunity to ask a guest [1818] 00:53:55.370 --> 00:53:58.690 [1819] 00:53:59.190 --> 00:54:00.530 always say this. I believe that [1820] 00:54:01.030 --> 00:54:02.330 music is a tie that binds. And I [1821] 00:54:02.830 --> 00:54:05.640 honestly, I do, because I also [1822] 00:54:06.140 --> 00:54:07.440 believe that everybody has a [1823] 00:54:07.940 --> 00:54:08.640 soundtrack that accompanies [1824] 00:54:09.140 --> 00:54:10.360 their lives if they just take a [1825] 00:54:10.860 --> 00:54:12.880 moment to think about it. So the [1826] 00:54:13.380 --> 00:54:14.160 first question that I like to [1827] 00:54:14.660 --> 00:54:15.840 ask people is, what's the first [1828] 00:54:16.340 --> 00:54:17.360 song that you fell in love with [1829] 00:54:17.860 --> 00:54:19.120 from the radio? Or you can [1830] 00:54:19.620 --> 00:54:20.840 remember saying, hey, I can't [1831] 00:54:21.340 --> 00:54:22.920 wait to hear that song. Yeah, [1832] 00:54:23.080 --> 00:54:24.440 you know, it's funny, as I was [1833] 00:54:24.940 --> 00:54:25.280 thinking about this, I was like, [1835] 00:54:27.140 --> 00:54:28.640 to have this one set playlist [1836] 00:54:29.140 --> 00:54:30.920 all the time. But to your point, [1837] 00:54:31.080 --> 00:54:33.520 music is all. Music is very [1838] 00:54:33.680 --> 00:54:35.360 instrumental, no pun intended. [1839] 00:54:36.640 --> 00:54:40.280 To my life. Yeah. Where I know [1840] 00:54:40.780 --> 00:54:41.600 that, like, it's definitely a [1841] 00:54:42.100 --> 00:54:42.920 tool for me to go from point A [1842] 00:54:43.420 --> 00:54:44.000 to point B. So anyway, but [1843] 00:54:44.500 --> 00:54:45.080 getting back to answering your [1844] 00:54:45.580 --> 00:54:47.600 question, you know, being [1845] 00:54:48.100 --> 00:54:49.200 literal and saying that for [1846] 00:54:50.160 --> 00:54:52.520 whatever reason I can remember [1847] 00:54:53.020 --> 00:54:55.280 being in, like, junior high and [1848] 00:54:56.880 --> 00:54:58.720 digging Paperback Rudder by the [1849] 00:54:59.220 --> 00:55:00.240 Beatles and calling into a radio [1851] 00:55:01.860 --> 00:55:02.840 friends. Why? I got no freaking [1852] 00:55:03.340 --> 00:55:05.000 clue. Right? But. But it's a [1853] 00:55:05.500 --> 00:55:05.960 memory and it's one of the [1854] 00:55:06.460 --> 00:55:07.280 earliest, you know, and since [1855] 00:55:07.780 --> 00:55:08.080 you asked the question, one of [1856] 00:55:08.580 --> 00:55:08.960 the earliest memories I can [1857] 00:55:09.460 --> 00:55:10.640 have, the second net one to that [1858] 00:55:11.140 --> 00:55:12.400 would. After that would be. I [1859] 00:55:12.900 --> 00:55:13.640 remember my first kind of real [1860] 00:55:14.140 --> 00:55:14.920 heartbreak, you know, in high [1861] 00:55:15.420 --> 00:55:17.160 school and, you know, Carly [1862] 00:55:17.660 --> 00:55:18.480 Simons Haven't Got Time for the [1863] 00:55:18.980 --> 00:55:20.040 Pain. Those are, those are [1864] 00:55:20.540 --> 00:55:21.280 probably my two earliest [1865] 00:55:21.780 --> 00:55:22.720 [1866] 00:55:23.220 --> 00:55:23.720 a, you know, like I said, I was [1867] 00:55:24.220 --> 00:55:25.000 a, you know, I was a. I was a [1868] 00:55:25.080 --> 00:55:26.400 weird kid. And when it came to [1869] 00:55:26.900 --> 00:55:27.520 musical taste, because I like, [1870] 00:55:28.020 --> 00:55:29.960 listen to the 50s and 60s all [1871] 00:55:30.460 --> 00:55:30.760 the way up through high school. [1872] 00:55:31.260 --> 00:55:31.880 And then I got into like the [1873] 00:55:32.380 --> 00:55:34.120 80s, into my 20s, and then like, [1874] 00:55:34.620 --> 00:55:36.200 I, you know, anyhow, so that's [1875] 00:55:36.700 --> 00:55:38.680 my music genres were, you know, [1876] 00:55:39.180 --> 00:55:39.840 definitely not traditional. [1877] 00:55:40.000 --> 00:55:41.480 Well, and here's the thing. [1878] 00:55:41.980 --> 00:55:43.680 This is really. The questions [1879] 00:55:44.180 --> 00:55:46.160 are designed, as I have said [1880] 00:55:46.660 --> 00:55:49.120 before, to bring people through [1882] 00:55:51.460 --> 00:55:53.920 is the, the second question. If [1883] 00:55:54.000 --> 00:55:56.040 your family would go on, you [1884] 00:55:56.540 --> 00:55:57.080 know, family trips, summer [1885] 00:55:57.580 --> 00:55:59.910 trips, whatever, was there a [1886] 00:56:00.410 --> 00:56:01.310 song that you can remember that [1887] 00:56:01.810 --> 00:56:03.470 was one that you all like to [1888] 00:56:03.970 --> 00:56:04.750 sing along to. Yeah. You know, [1889] 00:56:05.150 --> 00:56:06.550 my family didn't really do that [1890] 00:56:07.050 --> 00:56:09.390 kind of stuff, but I. The. The [1891] 00:56:09.890 --> 00:56:10.670 only memory I do have of singing [1892] 00:56:11.170 --> 00:56:11.790 along with something like that [1893] 00:56:12.290 --> 00:56:15.270 would be some of the. [1894] 00:56:15.770 --> 00:56:17.630 The Lion King soundtrack. Okay. [1895] 00:56:18.110 --> 00:56:20.790 My buddy Tim and I, bless him, [1896] 00:56:21.290 --> 00:56:21.590 who just passed away [1898] 00:56:25.180 --> 00:56:27.080 around, by the way. I've had two [1899] 00:56:28.040 --> 00:56:31.000 recently. Same thing. Yeah, it [1900] 00:56:31.500 --> 00:56:32.760 was definitely quite a surprise. [1901] 00:56:33.160 --> 00:56:34.520 We used to, you know, and so [1902] 00:56:35.020 --> 00:56:36.200 Hakuna Matata from the Lion King [1903] 00:56:36.700 --> 00:56:37.600 was definitely one that we used [1904] 00:56:38.100 --> 00:56:38.680 to. For whatever reason, you [1905] 00:56:39.180 --> 00:56:40.080 know, resonated with me. But [1906] 00:56:40.580 --> 00:56:42.560 then I also. Then the other one [1907] 00:56:43.060 --> 00:56:43.680 would be. I went through a [1908] 00:56:44.180 --> 00:56:45.400 little phase, a Celine Dion [1909] 00:56:45.480 --> 00:56:48.040 phase in my early 20s. And a [1910] 00:56:48.540 --> 00:56:49.600 girl I was dating, brother in [1911] 00:56:50.100 --> 00:56:51.000 law was also a fan. And so [1912] 00:56:51.500 --> 00:56:52.000 [1913] 00:56:52.500 --> 00:56:53.130 would just, you know, blared out [1914] 00:56:53.630 --> 00:56:54.650 in the car together and that, [1915] 00:56:58.490 --> 00:56:59.930 Yeah. You're like, where do I go [1916] 00:57:00.430 --> 00:57:01.130 with this? This guy just dropped [1917] 00:57:01.630 --> 00:57:03.210 some Celine Dion on me. Wow. [1918] 00:57:03.710 --> 00:57:05.770 Okay, next question. And by the [1919] 00:57:06.270 --> 00:57:06.890 way, I can't hold a tune to save [1920] 00:57:07.390 --> 00:57:08.490 my life, so. That's okay. [1921] 00:57:08.570 --> 00:57:10.730 That's okay. So do you have a. [1922] 00:57:10.890 --> 00:57:12.250 A song that gets the positive [1923] 00:57:12.750 --> 00:57:14.330 juices flowing? You know, I go. [1924] 00:57:14.410 --> 00:57:17.330 I'm very. I go through cycles of [1925] 00:57:17.830 --> 00:57:19.050 like, what kind of music genres [1926] 00:57:19.550 --> 00:57:20.050 resonate with me or whatever. [1927] 00:57:20.550 --> 00:57:21.050 So I really. So I was trying to [1929] 00:57:22.410 --> 00:57:23.530 what are a few, though, that I [1930] 00:57:24.030 --> 00:57:24.490 can think of that. Where they. [1931] 00:57:24.990 --> 00:57:25.410 I hear them play, they're like, [1932] 00:57:25.910 --> 00:57:26.410 oh, yeah, all right, this is. [1933] 00:57:26.490 --> 00:57:27.730 I'm digging it. So I wrote down [1934] 00:57:28.230 --> 00:57:29.850 today or three days ago, five [1935] 00:57:30.350 --> 00:57:31.330 years. So I wrote down a few [1936] 00:57:31.830 --> 00:57:32.610 that definitely, always resonate [1937] 00:57:33.110 --> 00:57:34.730 with me. And the first one, I [1938] 00:57:35.230 --> 00:57:35.450 think if I have to think about [1939] 00:57:35.950 --> 00:57:36.370 my theme song, it would [1940] 00:57:36.870 --> 00:57:37.570 definitely be My Way by Frank [1941] 00:57:38.070 --> 00:57:40.650 Sinatra. Definitely. Live life [1942] 00:57:41.150 --> 00:57:42.570 My way. Good, Bad, Ugly, [1943] 00:57:42.650 --> 00:57:43.970 learning, Difficult. Take your [1945] 00:57:46.710 --> 00:57:47.730 Sitting on the Dock of a Bay by [1946] 00:57:48.230 --> 00:57:49.140 Onus Redding. Well, that's a [1947] 00:57:49.640 --> 00:57:51.420 good one here. Copper Line by [1948] 00:57:51.920 --> 00:57:54.140 James Taylor and then rounded [1949] 00:57:54.640 --> 00:57:55.300 out with, I think it's. I'm [1950] 00:57:55.800 --> 00:57:57.540 Coming out by Diana Ross. Oh, [1951] 00:57:58.040 --> 00:57:58.740 yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. [1952] 00:57:58.820 --> 00:58:00.140 Those are kind of like four that [1953] 00:58:00.640 --> 00:58:01.940 I always. That seem to all [1954] 00:58:02.440 --> 00:58:03.780 strike a different one, I think. [1955] 00:58:03.860 --> 00:58:05.300 Yeah. You know. Yeah, [1956] 00:58:05.460 --> 00:58:06.580 definitely. There's a few disc. [1957] 00:58:07.080 --> 00:58:07.940 A little dinosaur in there too. [1958] 00:58:08.440 --> 00:58:09.100 You know, they'll pick me up. [1959] 00:58:09.600 --> 00:58:10.580 [1960] 00:58:10.740 --> 00:58:12.100 Sure. Each one of those hits [1961] 00:58:12.600 --> 00:58:13.460 with hits with a different type [1962] 00:58:13.960 --> 00:58:15.380 of emotion or feeling that I [1963] 00:58:15.880 --> 00:58:18.000 want to leave. Cool. Yeah. So [1964] 00:58:18.500 --> 00:58:19.520 I'm going to Ask you my favorite [1965] 00:58:20.020 --> 00:58:20.640 question, and this will be our [1966] 00:58:21.140 --> 00:58:22.840 last musical question. And [1967] 00:58:23.340 --> 00:58:24.320 sometimes there are songs that [1968] 00:58:24.820 --> 00:58:26.360 you hear that ring so true that [1969] 00:58:26.860 --> 00:58:27.240 they can stop you in your [1970] 00:58:27.740 --> 00:58:28.880 tracks. And the song's lyrics [1971] 00:58:29.380 --> 00:58:30.560 sound as if they were either [1972] 00:58:31.040 --> 00:58:32.720 written specifically for you or [1973] 00:58:33.220 --> 00:58:34.320 by you. What's that song? [1974] 00:58:40.240 --> 00:58:41.280 You know it, [1976] 00:58:47.130 --> 00:58:48.070 My Way definitely is kind of one [1977] 00:58:48.570 --> 00:58:49.350 of them. But there's a. I'm [1978] 00:58:49.850 --> 00:58:51.750 gonna. I'm gonna. Is it poultry [1979] 00:58:52.250 --> 00:58:54.790 or tree pole? They're a. A. [1980] 00:58:56.790 --> 00:58:58.390 A poet, but they've kind of [1981] 00:58:58.890 --> 00:58:59.470 just, you know, got some [1982] 00:58:59.970 --> 00:59:00.990 recordings that are song or. Or [1983] 00:59:01.490 --> 00:59:02.310 poet or a combination of it. [1984] 00:59:02.810 --> 00:59:04.150 Anyway. And it was. But the song [1985] 00:59:04.650 --> 00:59:06.550 was really about how. Was about [1986] 00:59:07.050 --> 00:59:08.430 just how truth and truth is [1987] 00:59:08.930 --> 00:59:10.980 being taken from us and how it's [1988] 00:59:11.480 --> 00:59:14.940 up to each one of us to not let [1989] 00:59:15.440 --> 00:59:16.980 that happen. And that really. [1990] 00:59:20.420 --> 00:59:21.340 I probably should have written [1992] 00:59:23.480 --> 00:59:24.060 anyway, that one really, based [1993] 00:59:24.560 --> 00:59:25.699 on where I'm at in my life and [1994] 00:59:26.199 --> 00:59:26.940 what I'm talking about and the [1995] 00:59:27.440 --> 00:59:27.940 information that I'm sharing, [1996] 00:59:28.900 --> 00:59:30.500 that one really hits home for [1997] 00:59:31.000 --> 00:59:31.820 me. And whenever I start to get [1998] 00:59:32.320 --> 00:59:33.140 doubts or wonder, does anybody [1999] 00:59:33.640 --> 00:59:34.540 care to hear about this stuff? [2000] 00:59:35.040 --> 00:59:35.780 What should I be talking about? [2001] 00:59:36.260 --> 00:59:38.540 You know, I go back and I listen [2002] 00:59:39.040 --> 00:59:40.300 to that, and it kind of helps me [2003] 00:59:40.800 --> 00:59:41.220 to get my head and. Head and [2004] 00:59:41.720 --> 00:59:43.920 heart right. No, that's. That's [2005] 00:59:44.420 --> 00:59:45.640 good. And it's what resonates [2006] 00:59:46.140 --> 00:59:48.200 [2007] 00:59:48.700 --> 00:59:50.400 the way, thank you again for [2008] 00:59:51.040 --> 00:59:52.480 spending the time with us today. [2009] 00:59:52.880 --> 00:59:55.680 Your answers being transparent [2010] 00:59:56.180 --> 00:59:58.360 and vulnerable. I appreciate [2011] 00:59:58.860 --> 01:00:00.120 that very much. Well, I [2012] 01:00:00.620 --> 01:00:01.040 appreciate you. You know, you. [2013] 01:00:01.540 --> 01:00:02.680 You allow me the opportunity. I [2014] 01:00:03.180 --> 01:00:03.680 mean, you've got. You've had a [2015] 01:00:04.180 --> 01:00:04.760 lot of great guests, and it's. [2016] 01:00:05.260 --> 01:00:05.640 Sometimes it's hard to not be [2017] 01:00:06.140 --> 01:00:06.680 like, I want to get. You know, [2018] 01:00:07.180 --> 01:00:08.040 man, I gotta. I gotta. Let's [2019] 01:00:08.540 --> 01:00:09.160 live up to these. They're [2020] 01:00:09.660 --> 01:00:09.840 talking about some really [2021] 01:00:10.340 --> 01:00:11.200 awesome stuff here. You know, [2023] 01:00:15.130 --> 01:00:18.830 guests that I do, and I give you [2024] 01:00:18.910 --> 01:00:20.710 guys all the credit in the world [2025] 01:00:21.210 --> 01:00:22.670 for making the podcast what it [2026] 01:00:23.170 --> 01:00:24.870 is, because it's a pleasure and [2027] 01:00:25.370 --> 01:00:25.670 it's something that I look [2028] 01:00:26.170 --> 01:00:27.430 forward to doing and spending [2029] 01:00:27.930 --> 01:00:29.310 the time with my guests and [2030] 01:00:29.810 --> 01:00:31.630 sharing them. So thanks again. [2031] 01:00:32.430 --> 01:00:33.470 Thank you for bringing this, [2032] 01:00:33.970 --> 01:00:34.750 for putting all this great [2033] 01:00:35.250 --> 01:00:36.030 information and different [2034] 01:00:36.530 --> 01:00:37.070 perspectives into the world. [2035] 01:00:37.570 --> 01:00:38.950 It's really needed, especially [2036] 01:00:39.450 --> 01:00:40.070 now as Earth's going through [2037] 01:00:40.570 --> 01:00:41.650 this current evolution. I [2039] 01:00:44.390 --> 01:00:46.250 with the changes, for sure. [2040] 01:00:47.370 --> 01:00:49.130 Well, it's just about time to [2041] 01:00:49.630 --> 01:00:50.730 cue the music for today's [2042] 01:00:51.230 --> 01:00:51.730 episode, but don't forget to, [2043] 01:00:52.230 --> 01:00:52.810 like, comment and subscribe to [2044] 01:00:53.310 --> 01:00:54.210 the Drop the Needle Podcast to [2045] 01:00:54.710 --> 01:00:55.570 stay up to date to our latest [2046] 01:00:56.070 --> 01:00:58.650 episodes. I hope you enjoyed [2047] 01:00:58.730 --> 01:01:00.130 this episode of the Drop of the [2048] 01:01:00.630 --> 01:01:01.330 Needle Podcast. And I'd also [2049] 01:01:01.830 --> 01:01:03.610 like to thank our very special [2050] 01:01:04.110 --> 01:01:06.970 guest, Mr. Graham Skidmore, for [2051] 01:01:07.470 --> 01:01:08.610 being on today.
