The Rookie (1990) | Eastwood, Sheen, and '90s Buddy Cop Mayhem
In this episode, we tackle 1990's action-thriller The Rookie—an explosive entry in the classic '90s buddy cop genre. Directed by and starring Clint Eastwood as grizzled LAPD veteran Nick Pulovski, the film pairs him with a young, hot-headed Charlie Sheen (David Ackerman) as they go rogue to dismantle an elite exotic car theft ring led by Raúl Julia and Sônia Braga.
