- 0:00Dayna Roselli: It's episode 194 of Vegas Revealed.
- 0:03Dayna Roselli: Kylie Minogue debuted her Vegas residency to rave reviews, but what about the venue where she performs?
- 0:09Dayna Roselli: Find out what we're hearing.
- 0:11Sean McAllister: The Formula One kickoff event has added even more stars.
- 0:14Sean McAllister: A new food hall is set to replace what was once the best buffet in Vegas, and the brunch dish that Dana says is one of the best things she has ever eaten.
- 0:26Dayna Roselli: Plus, a new hotel casino delays its opening day and Gordon Ramsay is on the strip again filming a new show.
- 0:33Sean McAllister: All that and more this week on Vegas Revealed.
- 0:35Dayna Roselli: Let's spin that wheel.
- 0:36Dayna Roselli: Welcome everyone to episode 194 of Vegas Revealed.
- 0:49Dayna Roselli: We're happy to be here for another week.
- 0:50Dayna Roselli: Dayna Roselli here along with Sean McAllister.
- 0:54Sean McAllister: And you know how we always talk about Dana that it's great here all winter long and the mild temperatures and everything.
- 1:01Sean McAllister: We've really started to turn the natural AC on outside.
- 1:06Dayna Roselli: I know it's starting to really cool down.
- 1:08Dayna Roselli: It was like 84 on Monday and then this breeze came in and things have cooled down, but it's always so warm in the sun, no matter what.
- 1:15Sean McAllister: That's true.
- 1:16Dayna Roselli: I feel like the days it's like you think it's going to be chilly.
- 1:18Dayna Roselli: Then you go out and you're in the sun and you're like, ah, sun glasses on, it's bright.
- 1:21Dayna Roselli: You start to heat up, so it's a mix.
- 1:23Sean McAllister: Or you can tell it's fall for sure.
- 1:25Dayna Roselli: Yeah, hey, listen, we are excited for Durango Casino Resort to open and we've talked about this in the last few podcasts that they were going to open November 20th and they were taking reservations.
- 1:35Dayna Roselli: But they have since announced that they are delaying the opening until December 5th.
- 1:39Dayna Roselli: So we wanted everyone to know.
- 1:41Dayna Roselli: Just in case you heard from us and you booked something, they're going to take care of you and you know, sean, I'm not too heard about the delay.
- 1:47Dayna Roselli: Personally, I feel like I want them to get things right and it's such a busy time in Las Vegas, I mean get it right.
- 1:56Sean McAllister: I completely agree, because when you open a project of that size, you know any delay in shipments or any.
- 2:04Sean McAllister: I mean there's a lot of logistical things that you could be like, oh my gosh, we can't open without that.
- 2:10Sean McAllister: Yeah, and you want to open the right way.
- 2:12Sean McAllister: So Durango is going to do that, and I mean moving away from F1 weekend isn't the worst thing in the world either.
- 2:21Dayna Roselli: No, because that'll be just wrapping up, you know, and then it was going to open on November 20th and it's like, well, okay, let's hold off.
- 2:27Dayna Roselli: And we don't know the reasons why at all but you're right.
- 2:29Dayna Roselli: If one thing is not in the mix, you want it to be perfect, and so they need more time and, unfortunately, anyone who booked I know that's probably frustrating that.
- 2:37Dayna Roselli: Oh, now you know you got to find a different place to stay, or maybe you have a restaurant reservation, but it's a few weeks and I think everything good is worth the wait and I expect it to be, you know, top notch, like station casinos always is.
- 2:50Sean McAllister: Yeah, and the folks at station casinos did say if you had a hotel or a dinner reservation, that they will either make arrangements at one of their sister properties for you or put you on priority reservations after the opening on December 5th.
- 3:08Dayna Roselli: Yeah, and I love that the team members are going to be paid.
- 3:10Dayna Roselli: They put that in a little statement that they sent out.
- 3:12Dayna Roselli: So if you were, you know, supposed to head to work November 20th, then maybe you're not like in your restaurant working and serving and making tips.
- 3:19Dayna Roselli: You're helping you out by giving you money, so that's really cool.
- 3:22Dayna Roselli: It is they always do it right over there.
- 3:23Dayna Roselli: Yeah, hey, kylie Minogue launched her new show at Voltaire at the Venetian and we did not go, but we have plenty of people that we know personally that did and we're getting all sorts of feedback.
- 3:36Sean McAllister: Yeah, and one thing is for sure is that Kylie Minogue and her performance have been I don't need well received is completely an understatement.
- 3:48Sean McAllister: People have loved that Kylie Minogue is back up on stage Doing her thing here in Las Vegas.
- 3:53Dayna Roselli: I mean she sold out like hotcakes.
- 3:55Dayna Roselli: Yeah, that's an old school phrase, anyway, and you know they had to add shows even right before these shows were gonna kick off.
- 4:06Dayna Roselli: They did like some opening, some general admission and all that kind of thing.
- 4:09Dayna Roselli: So listen, she is on demand.
- 4:12Dayna Roselli: And from the people that that have gone, from what we see on social media and then personally, they said the show was fabulous, she sounded great, her costumes were amazing, the room was energized and they just thought it was incredible and worth the wait.
- 4:28Sean McAllister: Yeah, but as we have heard those reviews, we have also been hearing that there are some opportunities for improvement on the service side of things at the venue itself.
- 4:43Dayna Roselli: Yes, I mean personal accounts from people that we know say you know, the getting there and in was very frustrating.
- 4:51Dayna Roselli: They waited one hour in one line, another hour in another line.
- 4:54Dayna Roselli: They were asking some folks that were there from possibly the Venetian saying, hey, what do we do here?
- 5:00Dayna Roselli: And they're like we don't know, it's not our venue, we're not like you know.
- 5:03Dayna Roselli: And then once they got in, the service was slow and that whole process was extremely frustrating to them because they had spent a lot of money on the tickets.
- 5:10Dayna Roselli: As Expected you would be frustrated.
- 5:12Dayna Roselli: However, in the end they said once she started and once the show went off, like it was amazing.
- 5:18Dayna Roselli: So you know, it was saved by Kylie Minogue right.
- 5:21Dayna Roselli: But but it was fresh.
- 5:22Dayna Roselli: And I know it's kind of like a buzzkill when you have to Go in and wait so long and it's confusing and you don't know where to go and your service is slow because you're really hyped up and you spend a lot of money on the tickets.
- 5:35Sean McAllister: Yeah, and I mean part of that ticket price too, is the service that you get inside.
- 5:41Sean McAllister: I mean they were really touting this extended experience, that that culminates with the performance of the headliner who you're there to see.
- 5:52Sean McAllister: But I mean, they Encourage people to get there early and to have bottle service, and I think they have some light bites in there too, so the service part was really being sold heavily with these ticket prices.
- 6:05Sean McAllister: So you would expect that it would be up to par, yeah, but it could just be.
- 6:11Sean McAllister: You know the kinks that you work out when you open a new venue too.
- 6:16Dayna Roselli: It is, you know, but it's like, yeah, it's a hard one, it's a hard one.
- 6:20Dayna Roselli: There are always kinks, but I feel like there were multiple people that went that I know that said the same thing.
- 6:27Dayna Roselli: Yeah so it wasn't just like one table right, you know what I mean.
- 6:30Dayna Roselli: Like yes, and apparently my friends who had gone.
- 6:33Dayna Roselli: They said like we asked the cert, like the server was like, we just aren't ready.
- 6:37Dayna Roselli: Finally, she or he was just like I just there's no excuse, we're not ready.
- 6:42Dayna Roselli: So that's unfortunate.
- 6:44Dayna Roselli: However, I do think, like you said, kinks Always bring improvement.
- 6:49Dayna Roselli: They do you know, you're either the first to see her and hey, you were the first to talk about it and you were the first there and you're gonna have to deal with kinks, and then the next people that go are probably gonna have a better experience 100% agree so another comment was that they wish the stage was elevated a little bit, because it's kind of all at one level Interesting and the kind of runway that she walks down because you can't quite you're not elevated because it's not seated like an angle.
- 7:15Sean McAllister: You're gonna look through heads to see her.
- 7:17Dayna Roselli: Yeah, so hopefully maybe they'll raise that if there's a lot of comments underneath the Obviously the Instagram posts and things like that that even Voltaire put up themselves.
- 7:24Dayna Roselli: So I'm sure they're taking all that in and gonna make improvements.
- 7:28Sean McAllister: But all in all happy to have Kylie Minogue here in Las Vegas now performing in her new show Over at Voltaire inside the Venetian.
- 7:38Dayna Roselli: Okay, I'm excited for this one, sean.
- 7:39Sean McAllister: Okay.
- 7:41Dayna Roselli: Mr Telephone man, all that new addition.
- 7:47Dayna Roselli: New addition is coming to the win Las Vegas.
- 7:49Dayna Roselli: I'm thrilled.
- 7:50Dayna Roselli: Six shows it's.
- 7:51Dayna Roselli: It's their debut residency called new edition Las Vegas and it's gonna be so good.
- 7:58Dayna Roselli: I mean, I don't even know.
- 8:00Dayna Roselli: I wanna be at one show, two shows.
- 8:03Dayna Roselli: Me and my friend Robyn were talking the other day.
- 8:05Dayna Roselli: We're like all shows, we wanna be at every show.
- 8:07Sean McAllister: Well, so I wanna know what was going on in Roselli's life during the new edition.
- 8:12Dayna Roselli: Oh my, gosh, I don't like stuck Stuff was going on.
- 8:16Dayna Roselli: I was young, it was fun, I was just starting to fall in love with boyfriends in the whole nine you know, oh my gosh, too much fun.
- 8:25Dayna Roselli: I was like, can you stand the rain?
- 8:27Dayna Roselli: All of it.
- 8:28Dayna Roselli: Anyway, they're coming to the win at the Encore Theater February 28th through Saturday March 9th.
- 8:35Dayna Roselli: Six shows tickets on sale.
- 8:38Dayna Roselli: Iconic hits, dance moves, the flair Bobby Brown's back with the group.
- 8:43Sean McAllister: And maybe, if they need another member, you can join them.
- 8:45Dayna Roselli: I think so Front row, at least front row for at least one of the shows I'm excited about it.
- 8:50Sean McAllister: Oh my gosh, that's so fun.
- 8:52Sean McAllister: I mean good for them.
- 8:53Sean McAllister: That'll be great to have them here, definitely.
- 8:55Sean McAllister: Something else we wanted to let you know about Spiegel World.
- 8:59Sean McAllister: That's the production group behind shows like Absinthe over at Caesar's Palace.
- 9:06Sean McAllister: They have come up with a very unique show that they're really excited to present, but if you blink you're gonna miss it.
- 9:16Dayna Roselli: Well, here's the thing Absinthe Opium, what's?
- 9:20Sean McAllister: the one about Atomic Saloon.
- 9:21Dayna Roselli: Atomic Saloon.
- 9:22Dayna Roselli: If you've ever been to any of those shows, you know A when you leave you'll never forget it because it's so memorable.
- 9:29Dayna Roselli: B it's a little raunchy, super funny, but also full of talent, and so you expect kind of outlandish, odd things from them sometimes.
- 9:39Sean McAllister: Correct, that was a good way to put it.
- 9:41Dayna Roselli: So they have a show that is having its world premiere on November 15th, and it's for one night only.
- 9:48Dayna Roselli: That's the headline.
- 9:50Sean McAllister: So it'll be having the world premiere and the closing on the same night.
- 9:55Dayna Roselli: Yes, so we know the podcast launches on a Saturday and goes.
- 9:59Dayna Roselli: You know, a lot of you listen later in the week.
- 10:01Dayna Roselli: November 15th might be past you, but listen, they are doing a show and it's F1 related and I just think this is super cool.
- 10:07Dayna Roselli: They're doing a show that they were going to call Box Box, but apparently that's like like pit stop or something in F1.
- 10:15Dayna Roselli: And then they said and lawyers were knocking on their door that they didn't want them to use that, so then they change it to Lights Out, which apparently means the race has started.
- 10:25Dayna Roselli: Now they're hoping they don't get sued by NB Energy.
- 10:27Dayna Roselli: They're saying.
- 10:28Dayna Roselli: I mean, they're just so funny, the whole press release is just so hilarious.
- 10:31Dayna Roselli: You can't help but not mention it.
- 10:32Dayna Roselli: Anyway, doors are opening at 11, the shows at midnight, november 15th at the Cosmopolitan.
- 10:38Dayna Roselli: It's right there, attached to the Super Freco restaurant and bar that they have there.
- 10:43Dayna Roselli: It's gonna be really funny.
- 10:45Dayna Roselli: Their mission was to create material for a tiny, stupid fun show that explored why human beings are obsessed with the idea of very fast cars driving around a track.
- 10:55Sean McAllister: All right, so there you have it.
- 10:56Sean McAllister: I mean, it will be a take on racing and racing fans that you have probably never heard or seen before.
- 11:03Dayna Roselli: Yeah, so sounds good.
- 11:05Dayna Roselli: Hey, we went to a brunch on Sunday at Villa Azor.
- 11:08Dayna Roselli: We have talked many times about Villa Azor.
- 11:10Dayna Roselli: It's a fun restaurant right there in the Venetian Grand Canal shops Newish.
- 11:15Dayna Roselli: It's been open for a little bit more than a year, or exactly a year, now Right around a year.
- 11:19Dayna Roselli: Yeah, and so they decided to try brunch out.
- 11:21Dayna Roselli: They're trying it out.
- 11:21Dayna Roselli: It's gonna be 11 am to 3 pm.
- 11:23Dayna Roselli: We went.
- 11:23Dayna Roselli: The food was great.
- 11:25Sean McAllister: It was so good.
- 11:26Dayna Roselli: Yeah.
- 11:27Sean McAllister: Let me tell you and I think that this is on their dinner menu too but the Mediterranean salad is about one of the best salads I have ever had in my life.
- 11:38Dayna Roselli: It was delicious.
- 11:38Dayna Roselli: It was great it really was.
- 11:40Dayna Roselli: That pizza was fantastic too.
- 11:42Dayna Roselli: Really everything, Everything that we had was really really good, so we look forward to going back and having brunch again.
- 11:48Dayna Roselli: It's a nice, big, beautiful room.
- 11:49Dayna Roselli: If you get a chance, check out Villa Azor.
- 11:52Sean McAllister: Yeah, they start serving at 11, and then, as you get into the later brunch hours, then the DJ music kicks up.
- 11:59Sean McAllister: It's more of a vibe.
- 12:02Sean McAllister: We went early, which was good, because I think we needed a chill brunch.
- 12:09Dayna Roselli: We were just hopping back into our Vegas mode because we'd been away and hadn't really done much that week, so we were like, all right, it's time to Vegas again.
- 12:16Dayna Roselli: Katy Perry we talked about last week, so we won't harp on this.
- 12:20Dayna Roselli: She's done with her residency show called Play over at Resorts World, but we did want to mention some sightings at her final show.
- 12:27Dayna Roselli: This has been all the buzz on the internet.
- 12:29Dayna Roselli: Prince Harry was there and Meghan, selene Dion, cameron Diaz and her husband were there, benji Madden I always forget which.
- 12:37Sean McAllister: Madden, she's meant Okay, benji and the other one, okay, well, anyway.
- 12:41Dayna Roselli: Benji and Cameron were there as well.
- 12:43Dayna Roselli: There were a couple other people there too that were mentioned, but a star-studded crowd.
- 12:47Dayna Roselli: And then she apparently went to XS Nightclub after and had a lot of fun.
- 12:51Dayna Roselli: Orlando Bloom joined her.
- 12:52Dayna Roselli: Even during her show she introduced her daughter to the crowd.
- 12:56Dayna Roselli: A lot of people haven't seen her.
- 12:57Dayna Roselli: I think she's three-year-old daughter, so what a great time.
- 13:00Dayna Roselli: And she had her big going away party, I think that weekend over at the Neon Museum.
- 13:05Sean McAllister: Which is a super cool venue to celebrate a run of shows here in Las Vegas, and I mean it's an iconic spot.
- 13:14Dayna Roselli: Yeah, and she always talks about how she did that show, and it's interesting because she's in the Resorts World Theater, where the Stardust used to stand, and that her grandmother Well, her aunt was a show girl there and her grandma was a seamstress for the show girl show, so she's got deep roots here in Las Vegas.
- 13:35Dayna Roselli: Yeah, so when she was at the Neon Museum, I guess that's what I was leading to.
- 13:38Dayna Roselli: She takes a lot of pictures in front of the Stardust sign.
- 13:41Sean McAllister: That's really cool, isn't that cool?
- 13:43Dayna Roselli: And she was like turner crew and she was excited to see it.
- 13:45Dayna Roselli: So yeah, Vegas is a cool place to have a final show, Let me tell you, because there's so many things to do to celebrate, and she enjoyed it.
- 13:53Sean McAllister: She sure did.
- 13:54Sean McAllister: She was up in the DJ booth having a good old time.
- 13:56Sean McAllister: Congratulations again to Katy Perry and everyone involved in her show.
- 14:01Sean McAllister: There's going to be an opening ceremony before all the Formula One racing action happens here in Las Vegas and there are a bunch of people who are taking part music artists who are taking part in this opening ceremony.
- 14:18Sean McAllister: We've got a couple additions new additions Not new additions that have just come out, not new addition, but new additions.
- 14:29Dayna Roselli: Yeah, I'm not even sure if we talked about this.
- 14:31Dayna Roselli: I know we did this in our entertainment report, but John Legend and Tiesto have been added to the mix, so that's really cool.
- 14:37Dayna Roselli: Other people that are going to be performing at the opening Journey Keith Urban, steve Aoki.
- 14:42Dayna Roselli: 30 Seconds to Mars Will I Am Blue man Group, cirque du Soleil.
- 14:46Dayna Roselli: I was reading some of the comments under a social media post and they were like can we spread that out?
- 14:51Dayna Roselli: Like, save some for the weekend.
- 14:53Sean McAllister: Yeah, no kidding.
- 14:54Dayna Roselli: Because they're like that's a really good lineup, so I know tickets are limited, but if you want to check out F1LasVegasGPcom for tickets to purchase them.
- 15:05Dayna Roselli: I think they said there's going to be about 30,000 people there at that show Wow, yeah, so it should be interesting, and that's November 15th, right here in Las Vegas as they kick off F1.
- 15:15Sean McAllister: Somebody else who is going to be in town for the Formula One race is celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay.
- 15:21Sean McAllister: He's a big race fan.
- 15:23Sean McAllister: He's been to these F1 races around the world.
- 15:26Sean McAllister: But even before F1 kicks off he's going to be filming episodes for his new show.
- 15:32Sean McAllister: It's coming up on Fox.
- 15:33Sean McAllister: It's called Idiot Sandwich.
- 15:35Sean McAllister: We're told that show episodes are going to be filmed out in front of the Hell's Kitchen restaurant right there at Caesar's Palace.
- 15:46Sean McAllister: I know since September they've been accepting applications for contestants on this show, which is going to be a sandwich making competition show.
- 15:58Dayna Roselli: Interesting.
- 15:59Sean McAllister: So he says if you have the best sandwich recipe, I want it and you could win a cash prize and, more importantly, the title of being Gordon Ramsay's idiot sandwich.
- 16:15Dayna Roselli: Listen, anything he touches goes to gold.
- 16:17Sean McAllister: so it really does.
- 16:19Dayna Roselli: And who doesn't love a good sandwich?
- 16:20Dayna Roselli: I don't feel like there's a sandwich making show.
- 16:22Dayna Roselli: So you think like, how did he think of that?
- 16:24Dayna Roselli: Well, it's so simple.
- 16:26Sean McAllister: Sandwiches are amazing.
- 16:28Sean McAllister: They are, and last time I sat down with Gordon Ramsay here in Las Vegas, I asked him some questions from social media and one of the questions was actually about an idiot sandwich.
- 16:41Sean McAllister: And Jason wants to know the best condiment for an idiot sandwich Ha, ha, ha, butter.
- 16:49Dayna Roselli: So those slices of bread stick on your ears f***ing longer.
- 16:51Dayna Roselli: Ha ha ha ha Brilliant.
- 16:54Dayna Roselli: Ha, ha ha.
- 16:56Dayna Roselli: Signature Gordon Ramsay.
- 16:58Dayna Roselli: He just beep, beep all the time.
- 17:01Sean McAllister: He says it like it is Okay.
- 17:03Sean McAllister: No air date has yet been announced for Gordon Ramsay's idiot sandwich, but we will let you know when we find out more.
- 17:12Dayna Roselli: Well, we told you that the Rio was going through some renovations, some very welcome renovations, right yeah, and something that they just announced.
- 17:19Dayna Roselli: It's actually not opening too long from now it's in January of 2024, is the Canteen Food Hall and that Sean is gonna be in the former space of the Carnival World Buffet that used to be like the number one buffet in Las Vegas.
- 17:33Sean McAllister: It was.
- 17:34Sean McAllister: I mean, this was, year after year after year, voted the best buffet in Las Vegas.
- 17:41Sean McAllister: Because it was, I mean, it was definitely the largest buffet, but it was really good, on top of just being big.
- 17:49Sean McAllister: Lots of seafood, lot of tons, yeah which people really love at a buffet when they're in.
- 17:53Dayna Roselli: Vegas right.
- 17:54Dayna Roselli: So this new Canteen Food Hall.
- 17:55Dayna Roselli: Food Halls are becoming the thing.
- 17:57Dayna Roselli: Now we're in food hall season.
- 17:59Sean McAllister: We are.
- 18:00Dayna Roselli: And we're in immersive and now we're in food hall.
- 18:02Dayna Roselli: I mean, once something takes off, it just keeps going until it doesn't anymore.
- 18:06Dayna Roselli: But food halls are very popular and they're gonna have some Las Vegas favorites in there and then they're also gonna have a lineup of some first-to-market concepts so that we haven't seen here in Las Vegas.
- 18:16Dayna Roselli: So be able to go in and pick what you wanna eat, sit at a table.
- 18:19Dayna Roselli: If you've got people who don't want you know the same thing they can get a burger, while this person can go get some seafood and that kind of thing.
- 18:26Sean McAllister: Yeah, I'm excited that that entire Carnival World Buffet space is being reimagined and some new life in there.
- 18:35Sean McAllister: Canteen Food Hall again opening in January over at the Rio.
- 18:41Dayna Roselli: All right, sean.
- 18:41Dayna Roselli: Well, we talked about Villa Azor, and after I left brunch, I went over to the Virgin Hotel Las Vegas to see Frank Marino's Royal Tea Party, and this was a show that started at two o'clock and it was over there at the Shag Room at Virgin, which I haven't visited before.
- 18:56Dayna Roselli: Great space.
- 18:57Sean McAllister: Yeah, I mean, that is quite the Sunday lineup.
- 19:00Sean McAllister: You start with brunch, then go for a spot of tea with some drag mixed in.
- 19:04Dayna Roselli: I know and just wait, and it wasn't your kind of tea that you're thinking there's more by the way, in my tips about something else that I did after that.
- 19:10Dayna Roselli: But it's not that kind of tea, it's a boozy tea.
- 19:12Dayna Roselli: So there's a cocktail list and you pick which one you want.
- 19:16Dayna Roselli: It's a mixture, they have different kinds, and then you get it served in a teapot and you pour it in your glass, but it's an alcoholic drink.
- 19:24Dayna Roselli: You can get it non-alcoholic if you want.
- 19:25Sean McAllister: I don't think I've ever had a boozy tea.
- 19:27Sean McAllister: I know.
- 19:27Sean McAllister: An iced tea.
- 19:28Sean McAllister: I guess Something different, right yeah?
- 19:30Dayna Roselli: Then a tower of some little desserts and chocolates and also some little finger sandwiches.
- 19:34Dayna Roselli: So, and then there was a drag show, which was great, and Frank is really up to his game.
- 19:40Dayna Roselli: Now Frank is the diva of Las Vegas.
- 19:42Dayna Roselli: It goes way back, iconic, iconic.
- 19:44Dayna Roselli: Used to perform over at the Riviera and then moved all over the strip and his show Divas that he's produced for years.
- 19:51Dayna Roselli: He was also headlining over at Legends and Concert.
- 19:54Dayna Roselli: So Frank brings it and he looked fabulous first of all.
- 19:58Dayna Roselli: And then he had a cast of Divas that he has really, you know, went out and searched for to kind of get some updated folks, like as in, like updated, you know, current artists that are divas, the old and the new.
- 20:13Sean McAllister: Right.
- 20:14Dayna Roselli: So he mixed in.
- 20:14Dayna Roselli: He had the Cher and the Celine, but he also had the Taylor Swift and Pink and Rihanna and Kelly Clarkson and all sorts of I can't even think right off the top my head.

- 20:36Dayna Roselli: And you know, you know all that music oh, there was Beyonce there and just all sorts of characters, great music, a lot of fun and very unique kind of afternoon.
- 20:45Dayna Roselli: I loved it.
- 20:46Sean McAllister: Yeah, well, you were sending me videos of the Tea Party as it was happening.
- 20:52Sean McAllister: I was like, oh my gosh, this is great it is.
- 20:55Dayna Roselli: It's great and it's you know, it's an intimate venue, so everyone was into it dollar bills were flowing.
- 21:00Dayna Roselli: It was just a lot of fun.
- 21:01Dayna Roselli: They really played to the crowd.
- 21:02Dayna Roselli: Frank's doing another one.
- 21:04Dayna Roselli: That is November 26th.
- 21:08Dayna Roselli: If you'd like to go, it's the Royal Tea Party.
- 21:11Dayna Roselli: You can do like the.

- 21:20Sean McAllister: Nice and congratulations to Frank and everyone with the show.
- 21:24Sean McAllister: Hey, rod Stewart has just announced his final Las Vegas shows more than a decade of performing over there at the Coliseum at Caesars Palace, and he's going to wrap things up next summer.
- 21:38Sean McAllister: July 24th through August 7th.
- 21:40Sean McAllister: There's going to be seven shows that wrap up his long, long run over there.
- 21:47Sean McAllister: Maybe the soccer balls will make an appearance for the final show, but Rod Stewart all been bringing the hits for years.
- 21:56Dayna Roselli: Yeah, I mean it's interesting because he's talking about you know he's ending his run.
- 22:00Dayna Roselli: Adele says she's ending her run, so what's gonna come in the Coliseum?
- 22:04Sean McAllister: I know there's a lot of room to fill.
- 22:07Dayna Roselli: And you know, and someday we're gonna have to talk about this is a total side note, but you talked about Rod Stewart and made me think.
- 22:13Dayna Roselli: Recently, you and I, in September, were at the Italian American club.
- 22:16Dayna Roselli: And there was a Rod Stewart impersonator that has lived in Las Vegas a long time.
- 22:21Dayna Roselli: He stopped by the table I gotta pull his card out because that night turned into a whole fiasco with my family but so I didn't.
- 22:29Dayna Roselli: I forgot about that until you and we'll talk about that, but he was good.
- 22:32Sean McAllister: He was great, he was great right.
- 22:34Dayna Roselli: We were kind of like, is that Rod Stewart?
- 22:35Dayna Roselli: And then we were like, oh wait, no, it's not.
- 22:37Sean McAllister: Well, my sister was like hitting my arm.
- 22:38Sean McAllister: She was like Rod Stewart is here.
- 22:42Sean McAllister: It was like no, rod Stewart is not here.
- 22:44Dayna Roselli: This is Vegas Everyone looks like someone else.
- 22:47Sean McAllister: But then I was like, eh, maybe I guess he could be here.
- 22:49Dayna Roselli: He could be right.
- 22:50Dayna Roselli: So anyway, that's funny.
- 22:52Dayna Roselli: But listen, rod ended his shows over at the Coliseum.
- 22:55Dayna Roselli: As we said, they could always come back at some point, but July 24th to August 7th is the final run.
- 23:01Dayna Roselli: If you wanna go see Rod, that's your time.
- 23:04Sean McAllister: Let's do some tips ["The Royal Tea Party"].
- 23:10Dayna Roselli: Okay, so, sean, after I went to the Royal Tea Party, after I went to Villasor, I went to Cassie Beach House, cause then I was hungry again.
- 23:17Sean McAllister: That's a big day.
- 23:18Dayna Roselli: Group of friends.
- 23:19Dayna Roselli: They said let's go over to Cassie Beach.
- 23:21Dayna Roselli: I had never been and I just wanna tell everyone about this great space.
- 23:24Dayna Roselli: They had a great patio that sits right by the pool.
- 23:26Dayna Roselli: There at Virgin, people were in the pool in early November.
- 23:29Sean McAllister: Really.
- 23:30Dayna Roselli: Because apparently they keep their pool open longer and heat it and they say so many people come in from out of town, from like cold country, that they are ready to go in the pool, and so people were swimming.
- 23:41Dayna Roselli: I loved it.
- 23:41Dayna Roselli: But it was a beautiful day, beautiful inside and outside on the patio but I had something that I think everyone needs to have, and it was to die for One of the best things that I've had in a very long time for an appetizer, okay.
- 23:54Dayna Roselli: I'm excited about this.
- 23:57Dayna Roselli: Because you don't say this lightly, no, this bread Okay, it's called the Mese Platter, it's on the menu and it includes, like a whipped egg plant, a white bean dip with salsa rosa, a whipped ricotta and honey, and then it comes out with this oven roasted bread and it was ridiculous.
- 24:19Dayna Roselli: Okay, it was like blown up, where you was in a ball.
- 24:24Dayna Roselli: And so you have to like poke it to make it go down and it's cooked in the pizza oven and I don't know it was like a buttery flavor.
- 24:31Dayna Roselli: You pull it apart and then you put it in the.
- 24:34Dayna Roselli: I mean, this ricotta and with honey whipped thing was incredible and I just literally ate like 80% of the.
- 24:43Dayna Roselli: It was so.
- 24:44Dayna Roselli: And then it comes out with veggies too that are delicious.
- 24:46Dayna Roselli: It was such a great platter.
- 24:48Dayna Roselli: It's $25 on the brunch menu.
- 24:50Dayna Roselli: Delicious, delicious, delicious.
- 24:52Dayna Roselli: I can't even tell you that if you were looking for something to pick at and you want to sit, even if you just want to go for a glass of wine and have this, it was amazing.
- 25:02Dayna Roselli: So, cassie Beachhouse at Virgin Hotel.
- 25:05Sean McAllister: That's, I like that, and that sounds delicious.
- 25:07Dayna Roselli: It was delicious, I need to go and try that, do it.
- 25:11Sean McAllister: Hey, this other tip this week is from a listener, from Clinton, and Clinton, thank you for emailing us and sharing this with us.
- 25:21Sean McAllister: This has to do with getting to and from the airport.
- 25:25Sean McAllister: Especially if you have a group of people with you, Clinton, and if you're renting a car, that helps also.
- 25:33Sean McAllister: Yeah, so Clinton says you know what?
- 25:36Sean McAllister: It's a great idea if you have a group of people with your rental car, go drop them off at the airport.
- 25:43Sean McAllister: Let them be in the long lines at baggage.
- 25:46Sean McAllister: You go to the rental car place, drop it off, take the shuttle back over to the airport, and that is a huge time saver.
- 25:54Sean McAllister: So you and five other people if you have a family with you or friends don't have to all go through that rental car process and then when you get back to the airport then you're ready to go.
- 26:07Dayna Roselli: I know.
- 26:07Dayna Roselli: So drop them off with the bags, let them check in, check the bags, go through security.
- 26:12Dayna Roselli: Then when you show up you go right through with your boarding, pass through security and meet them at the gate.
- 26:16Dayna Roselli: Great time saver.
- 26:18Dayna Roselli: And Clinton says I think he used to drive, he used to work at the rental car center.
- 26:22Dayna Roselli: So he said this is a tip that I wanna pass on for folks.
- 26:25Dayna Roselli: So I love that.
- 26:26Dayna Roselli: What a great idea.
- 26:27Dayna Roselli: Drop everyone off, then it just takes away all that stuff.
- 26:30Dayna Roselli: I never would have thought of that.
- 26:32Sean McAllister: I wouldn't either, because I know when I've gone to the rental car facility there are.
- 26:36Sean McAllister: There can be sometimes big groups of people that are all there together and you don't wanna do that.
- 26:42Dayna Roselli: And then you gotta put all your bags now on the shuttle Right, then take the shuttle to the thing.
- 26:46Dayna Roselli: Oh my gosh, this is great.
- 26:48Dayna Roselli: Thank you, clinton.
- 26:48Dayna Roselli: And if you have ideas for us at home and you're listening, ideas at vegastashrevealedcom, we love your tips, we appreciate them.
