  And I walk in and there's a few people at the counter already,

  and there's a guy who's wanting to sell a 10 ounce bar back to

  the coin shop. And I hear the coin shop owner

  offer him, let's say $230. Is it okay for me to jump in and

  say, hey, you know what, I'll I'll pay you $235.

  Is that a? Is that a good idea for me to do

  that? That will be the first thing you

  would get kicked out of the coin shop.

  You know, Ron, I mean that that's happened to us at the

  shop and we have thrown people out and I know other shops have

  thrown people out. I mean, that's kind of.

  Getting involved with other people's deals.

  You you, you know, don't that you're on the coin shops

  property for for one. So I mean that's that's a bad

  movie. You want to step into someone

  else's deal. No, I wouldn't recommend just

  keep your mouth shut, let the deal go through.

  If you're able to buy it from the shop afterwards, depending

  on the state you live in, then work out the deal with the shop.

  But people have to remember the shop needs to make a little bit

  So I mean, you know, you can wheel and deal.

  I mean, but if you don't like the offer, if you can't make a

  So I decide to eat 4 Ding dongs and then I drive over to the

  coin shop but I forget to check my hands or wash my hands and

  I don't know who would eat those Ding dongs anyway, but I got

  chocolate Ding Dong goop all over my fingers in the coin shop

  and I asked the coin shop owner to look at this nice brand new

  BU American Silver Eagle and they hand me the Silver Eagles.

  Is it okay? If I get the Ding Dong goop all

  over the brand new silver eagle, they can just wipe it off with a

  with a napkin, right? Well, the coin shop might not

  know it's not Ding Dong Goop, but.

  Any who but no you know come in with clean hands.

  I mean you know we have had people come in they go to talk

  about this is this happened a few months ago and they went to

  go eat some Doritos tacos at Taco Bell and they got Cheetos

  you know the Dorito the rides do all over their hands.

  You know, you know. You know you want to come in

  with clean hands. And you you know that's not

  specifically going to get you kicked out of the coin shop.

  But you know, the coin shop might give you a hand wipe and

  say you you need to wash your hands before you touch my coins,

  Okay. And we know, and we know you

  always want to buy from reputable shops.

  But let's say let's just say that Ron's a little paranoid and

  he's he's not sure if if that silver coin that the coin dealer

  handed me is real or not. And I know that when you clink

  silver together it makes a very distinct sound.

  Is it okay for me to take that American Silver Eagle they

  handed me and and clink it against maybe my my pocket piece
• 4:48
  of silver that I carry around just to make sure it sounds

  right? You know, some shops don't mind

  that, Ron. If it's a BU coin, they don't do

  it. I mean, if you're that hesitant

  to see if it's real, most coin shops will check to prove to you

  it's real. Just ask for the shop to put it

  on this on the signal or the XRF if they have an XRF and they

  will check it for for you, it's not.

  That's not an insult to any no coin shop that should take that

  as an insult run. You know, verifying the silver

  that you buy from them because they don't want to be known out

  there. No coin shop wants to be known

  for selling fake silver, gold, or platinum, for that matter.

  have happened. Yes, we try to test everything

  most shops do sometimes. You know, you get in rush,

  you're busy, you don't test something and it goes out the

  door and and it comes back as being fake a year or two later.

  It's hard to prove that we actually stole it to them unless

  they don't have the receipt. But if it don't have a serial

  because they could have got a fake one from somebody else and

  best thing is before you leave any shop is really to have them

  shop's a good coin shop and most of the coin shops are, it's not

  If it has that much sentimental value to you, then you might

  just want to hang on to it. Because you know, we are only

  They're not going to say, oh, it's an 1890CC Morgan dollar and

  my grandfather gave it to me and it's and I think it's worth 400

  bucks. And really it's only worth

  whatever, 300, three, 150 bucks, you know, if it's worth for 350,

  You know, the point. The point is we don't pay for

  sentimental value. I mean unless, unless the unless

  the purchaser has some sentimental value toward that
