• 0:31
Speaker 1: incredible guest. You guys have watched her. It's true. It's true.
• 0:34
Speaker 1: She's giggling, but she knows it's true. You guys have
• 0:36
Speaker 1: watched her for years on the Real Housewives of Orange County,
• 0:39
Speaker 1: where she is so loved, she has loved and she
• 0:42
Speaker 1: has lost, and now she's opening up herself to love again.
• 0:45
Speaker 1: On Bravo's Love Hotel, of course, we are talking about
• 0:48
Speaker 1: the one and only Shannon shut the door Door. Wow, Hi, Shannon, Hi,
• 0:56
Speaker 1: how are you? We're so happy to see you.
• 0:58
Speaker 2: Yellow survive jendad not get the memo.
• 1:00
Speaker 1: It's now it's fun to No, Yes, they're both of
• 1:03
Speaker 1: these beautiful women are in yellow and yeah, we are
• 1:06
Speaker 1: so exciting. Kelly and I keep talking about the fact
• 1:08
Speaker 1: that we are expectations for Love Hotel. For whatever reason,
• 1:12
Speaker 1: maybe because there are so many dating shows. Love Hotel
• 1:16
Speaker 1: has far exceeded my expectations. Kelly, you say the same thing.
• 1:20
Speaker 2: And also I was on a dating show and I
• 1:23
Speaker 2: was and this you guys. First of all, you look
• 1:25
Speaker 2: like you're having so much fun. You are having so
• 1:27
Speaker 2: much fun. We had Ashley on. I love her so much.
• 1:29
Speaker 2: You're obviously with when and you know Giselle, who is
• 1:33
Speaker 2: dropped dead gorgeous. So you guys are having the best time.
• 1:35
Speaker 2: And then you have all your friends come on as well,
• 1:38
Speaker 2: I mean, and then you have like all these different
• 1:41
Speaker 2: things that happen, you know, episode to episode that are
• 1:44
Speaker 2: so good. It's really great.
• 1:47
Speaker 1: It's fun, it's fun to watch.
• 1:48
Speaker 2: Yeah, it's really fun. And you look gorgeous.
• 1:50
Speaker 3: Oh, thank you very much.
• 1:52
Speaker 2: No really, and I'm not really big with the compliments.
• 1:55
Speaker 2: You look really really, really spectacular.
• 1:58
  Speaker 3: Thank you.
• 2:00
Speaker 1: Yeah, well, I can tell you that first of all,
• 2:02
Speaker 1: the place I love Grand VELAs. That hotel is beautiful.
• 2:04
  Speaker 2: Oh you've been.
• 2:05
Speaker 1: I've been there. I've been there, and they have three
• 2:07
Speaker 1: different locations. It's an all inclusive. That's all we used
• 2:10
Speaker 1: to go to with our kids because they're Gavones. I
• 2:13
Speaker 1: think that is the expression. I'm a govone, I should say. Also, anyway,
• 2:16
Speaker 1: a bone. When you just eat, They just eat and
• 2:18
Speaker 1: they have no concept when they were little, like oh,
• 2:20
Speaker 1: I have a virgin mud slide, and like each virgin
• 2:22
Speaker 1: mudslide is you know, fifteen dollars. So we'd decided on
• 2:25
  Speaker 1: all inclusives.
• 2:26
Speaker 2: It's so much better.
• 2:27
Speaker 1: But anyway, this is not about my kids. Yes, but
• 2:30
Speaker 1: we want to talk about what's going on over there,
• 2:31
Speaker 1: and I am dying to no secrets. I know you're
• 2:34
Speaker 1: probably not gonna be able to disclose, but what happened
• 2:37
  Speaker 1: with ear All?
• 2:39
Speaker 2: Wait before we talk about what happened with e All?
• 2:41
Speaker 2: Can I just can I just set the stage. If
• 2:43
Speaker 2: you have not watched Loved to Hotel, you have to
• 2:45
Speaker 2: watch Love Hotel because the way that you come across
• 2:50
Speaker 2: on Love Hotel is spectacular. And I really want to
• 2:55
Speaker 2: know what happened worth All. We definitely want to know that.
• 2:58
Speaker 2: But before we get into that, why did you want
• 3:01
Speaker 2: to go on Love Hotel?
• 3:02
Speaker 3: Well, you know, I was asked to go a couple
• 3:06
Speaker 3: months before, and I think I replaced somebody, so I
• 3:10
Speaker 3: wasn't in the initial initial cast, but I got a
• 3:15
Speaker 3: DUI and it was a really difficult year for me,
• 3:18
Speaker 3: and so I made about to focus on myself and
• 3:21
  Speaker 3: I didn't date, and I'm a relationship girl, like I
• 3:25
Speaker 3: usually not single and not a big dater, and so
• 3:29
Speaker 3: I thought, this is kind of like perfect timing. It's
• 3:33
Speaker 3: been a year. I've been single for a year, and
• 3:36
Speaker 3: let me try. What I thought too, is like, Okay,
• 3:39
Speaker 3: who am I going to meet that's going to want
• 3:42
Speaker 3: to be in our television show. I've been down that
• 3:44
Speaker 3: road before, whether you say, oh, I don't want to
• 3:45
  Speaker 3: be famous.
• 3:46
Speaker 1: And then you know they want to about that.
• 3:49
Speaker 3: So I said to myself, I'm just going to go
• 3:53
Speaker 3: and have fun. You really didn't expect to have, you know,
• 3:58
Speaker 3: a connection with it.
• 3:59
Speaker 1: That's probably the best way to go into any situation.
• 4:01
Speaker 1: If you're dating, I would say, like is have no experts,
• 4:05
Speaker 1: expect probably to not meet anyone, and expect to just
• 4:08
Speaker 1: make friends, and then you become everything is that the
• 4:12
Speaker 1: stakes are so much lower and you can relax, have
• 4:15
Speaker 1: a good time and here we are.
• 4:16
Speaker 3: Well, it's it's insane. The friendships that I have maintained
• 4:21
Speaker 3: since the show. The guys are really tight. They have
• 4:25
Speaker 3: a regular really I think once a month.
• 4:30
Speaker 2: You can see that they were really Yeah.
• 4:32
Speaker 3: The first eight guys they call themselves the lead eight and.
• 4:36
  Speaker 1: That's really cute.
• 4:37
Speaker 3: So I see I see quite a few of them,
• 4:40
Speaker 3: and the girls especially, we have this bond, you know,
• 4:44
Speaker 3: we were we called it a little bit of a
• 4:45
Speaker 3: social experiment because we didn't really know what we were
• 4:48
Speaker 3: walking into, you know, being the first season.
• 4:51
Speaker 1: Did you know the girls?
• 4:52
Speaker 3: Well, so I did Project Runway with Giselle and Luanne,
• 4:55
Speaker 3: and of course we've met through the years, right and
• 4:58
Speaker 3: they met Ashley briefly. So we just you know, we
• 5:01
Speaker 3: really enjoyed each other. We supported each other, We laughed
• 5:05
Speaker 3: a lot, and you know, it's we have a great one.
• 5:08
Speaker 1: I think that was part of it is it was
• 5:10
Speaker 1: so refreshing to see a group of housewives. There was
• 5:13
Speaker 1: no drama. Drama maybe with the guy whatever, but there
• 5:17
Speaker 1: was simply camaraderie and like the sisterhood. It was really cool.
• 5:20
Speaker 3: It was fun to watch, Thank you, Yeah, it was.
• 5:23
Speaker 2: It's so different than from what we see normally.
• 5:26
Speaker 3: Well, I think also what I like about the show
• 5:28
Speaker 3: is that we're older, so we're not just some young
• 5:31
Speaker 3: people that everyone has a story. So I think there
• 5:35
Speaker 3: was just a little.
• 5:35
Speaker 1: We talked about that with Ashley. At least, I feel
• 5:37
Speaker 1: like we are more interested maybe in like as opposed
• 5:40
Speaker 1: to The Bachelor. We love the Golden Bachelor. Yes, that's
• 5:43
Speaker 1: a whole other topic. Yes, for a different episode. We
• 5:45
Speaker 1: did love that show. But I think that I'm loving
• 5:48
Speaker 1: shows about with dating at my age, even though whatever,
• 5:53
Speaker 1: I'm not single. But you know, it's I think the
• 5:57
Speaker 1: characters quote unquote are so much more complex and interesting.
• 6:00
Speaker 1: And I'm sure that young people don't feel that way,
• 6:03
Speaker 1: but for someone like me and everybody I know, I
• 6:06
Speaker 1: love watching you come to the table with all your
• 6:07
Speaker 1: baggage and all of their baggage and knowing yourself so
• 6:11
Speaker 1: much better than we did when we were twenty one.
• 6:14
Speaker 2: Thing I thought too that I really loved is that
• 6:16
Speaker 2: you were sitting there and you said, I don't like
• 6:19
Speaker 2: to date. I like to be in relationships. Can you
• 6:21
  Speaker 2: talk to that?
• 6:22
Speaker 3: Well, I mean, I'm going to say today, I'm liking
• 6:27
Speaker 3: being single, and that's for me, that's growth because I
• 6:33
Speaker 3: always identified with the relationship that I was in. You know,
• 6:37
Speaker 3: I like only having to worry about myself right now
• 6:40
Speaker 3: and making choices for my.
• 6:42
  Speaker 1: Same man's sister.
• 6:43
Speaker 3: So that's kind of nice. Yeah, you know, after the
• 6:48
  Speaker 3: Love Hotel, you know, I well, I can't. I can't
• 6:52
  Speaker 3: say anything.
• 6:53
Speaker 1: Yeah, well you can. As soon as the mics go off.
• 6:56
Speaker 2: Right exactly soon as the myco off, We're gonna have
• 6:58
Speaker 2: like an after doog. So when you were on the show,
• 7:01
Speaker 2: was it like going on the show? Was it like
• 7:05
Speaker 2: a revenge for you? Or you were just like, Okay,
• 7:07
Speaker 2: now I'm going to show everyone, like, obviously, how great
• 7:10
Speaker 2: you look. Obviously like you have the most incredible demeanor.
• 7:13
Speaker 2: You're like the loveliest human. Like I literally I was
• 7:16
Speaker 2: like almost crying last night when I was watching you.
• 7:19
Speaker 2: I was like, oh my god, You're just such a
• 7:20
Speaker 2: giving human, like choked up. I was really impressed. So
• 7:27
Speaker 2: was it like a revenge for you? Were we trying
• 7:28
Speaker 2: to prove something like?
• 7:29
Speaker 3: No, no, you know a real house. I was of
• 7:32
Speaker 3: Orange County last season was airing when we filmed the show,
• 7:37
Speaker 3: and you know, it was a lot. It was hard
• 7:39
Speaker 3: to watch back last season for me. So it was
• 7:42
Speaker 3: an amazing distraction for me to be in Mexico for
• 7:46
  Speaker 3: almost a month.
• 7:47
  Speaker 2: Distraction not destruction.
• 7:48
Speaker 3: Distraction. Yeah yeah, So I'm not I'm not focusing on
• 7:52
Speaker 3: Orange County. I'm just going to have a good Well.
• 7:55
Speaker 1: I will tell you that although you weren't in it
• 7:56
Speaker 1: for the revenge. I feel like a lot of the
• 7:58
Speaker 1: viewers that love you, we're very satisfied by this whole experience,
• 8:02
Speaker 1: and they experience and they got their events, So you
• 8:05
  Speaker 1: did good work.
• 8:07
Speaker 2: I have to go back to that one scene again
• 8:09
Speaker 2: because it's just like my one of my favorite scenes
• 8:11
Speaker 2: where you are sitting there with Earl in your bedroom
• 8:15
Speaker 2: or on the couch, and you know, it seems to
• 8:18
Speaker 2: the viewer and you're going to be like, here's your note, thanks,
• 8:21
Speaker 2: but no thanks, and then you dropped this amazing bomb
• 8:26
Speaker 2: and I just was I just thought that the time
• 8:29
Speaker 2: and the effort that you put in to that was
• 8:32
  Speaker 2: just so thoughtful.
• 8:34
Speaker 3: Oh thank you, you know.
• 8:35
Speaker 2: And then the dynamic change, it was like a shift.
• 8:38
Speaker 2: It was like all of a sudden, it was like pivot.
• 8:40
Speaker 3: Right right, because we were kind of in an iffy
• 8:43
Speaker 3: spot and I feel bad about the vegetables comment. But anyways,
• 8:48
Speaker 3: but wait why I came across a little bit harsh
• 8:54
Speaker 3: and Earle and I had a banter like we would
• 8:56
Speaker 3: tease each other. So in my head when you said
• 8:59
  Speaker 3: I don't eat vegetable, and I'm I thinking, oh, got
• 9:01
Speaker 3: to add that to the earl list.
• 9:03
Speaker 1: You know, I listen, it came out. It came out
• 9:07
Speaker 1: like it was just both of you don't at that point,
• 9:10
Speaker 1: didn't know each other well enough, and so the band
• 9:12
Speaker 1: to no one knows who's being serious, who's being cutting,
• 9:15
Speaker 1: Maybe she's not, maybe he's not. And it felt like
• 9:17
Speaker 1: you guys just missed the mark.
• 9:19
Speaker 3: Well. I mean, he there was much more to the conversation,
• 9:23
Speaker 3: but he said all he needed to do, and I
• 9:26
Speaker 3: explained this to him at the table. All you needed
• 9:29
Speaker 3: to do is lean in and say, hey, I feel
• 9:31
Speaker 3: like you're criticizing me. I would have said, oh, I'm sorry,
• 9:34
Speaker 3: I didn't mean to do that, and then it would
• 9:35
Speaker 3: have ended like it wouldn't have got to this big place.
• 9:39
Speaker 1: In you know, you guys were you guys were in
• 9:42
Speaker 1: it and out of it.
• 9:43
Speaker 3: Though I didn't think that I would be crying on
• 9:46
Speaker 3: the show, but I do a couple of times.
• 9:48
Speaker 2: So but that's so great too. I thought, you're really
• 9:51
Speaker 2: let your guard down. I mean, you know, again, like
• 9:53
Speaker 2: back to Jen's comment about being you know, watching a
• 9:56
Speaker 2: Real Housewives, is that you know everyone's guard is so up,
• 10:00
Speaker 2: you know what I mean, Like everyone feels like a
• 10:01
Speaker 2: cat in the corner. But you guys are really like
• 10:04
Speaker 2: the camaraderie between all of you guys, like the relationship
• 10:08
Speaker 2: between like them, like with the way and like how
• 10:10
Speaker 2: she's befriending these guys and like basically telling them what
• 10:13
Speaker 2: to do. I feel like you have really good advice though,
• 10:16
Speaker 2: I feel like you're like the advice girl.
• 10:18
Speaker 3: Well, I mean, thank you. I it was when I
• 10:22
Speaker 3: met Earl. He was not my first choice, but I
• 10:27
  Speaker 3: liked Ralph from.
• 10:28
Speaker 1: Like just like seeing all of them.
• 10:32
Speaker 3: He's more my type. But Earle was so vulnerable and
• 10:37
Speaker 3: talking about his wife had passed away and you know,
• 10:40
Speaker 3: and how he'd wanted to have kids. And then as
• 10:44
Speaker 3: we went on another date when Ralph didn't pick me,
• 10:48
Speaker 3: you know, he was talking about the step son that
• 10:50
Speaker 3: he had and all he wanted to do was have
• 10:52
Speaker 3: children and he wasn't able to and that broke my heart.
• 10:55
Speaker 1: Yeah, Like, I mean that's very you've had that. Actually
• 10:58
Speaker 1: you're in the middle of this dating show and that's
• 10:59
Speaker 1: what you're thinking about, right, So which is that is?
• 11:02
Speaker 2: I don't know you, but I love you.
• 11:04
  Speaker 1: I love that.
• 11:05
Speaker 2: I'm like everyone knows I'm like Shannon's biggest fan president
• 11:09
  Speaker 2: fan Club.
• 11:10
  Speaker 1: I mean i'm vice president.
• 11:12
Speaker 2: Yes, Well do I know her longer? I'm av I
• 11:16
  Speaker 2: know her longer.
• 11:17
Speaker 1: Yes. So I didn't see you with Earl when you guys,
• 11:20
Speaker 1: when it first started happening, I was like, I'm not
• 11:22
  Speaker 1: I'm not feeling this. I don't see it. I don't
• 11:24
Speaker 1: understand how this is. I can't see the connection. Not
• 11:27
Speaker 1: that it matters what I see, but I just wasn't
• 11:29
Speaker 1: feeling it for you guys. And but I will say that, like.
• 11:32
Speaker 2: It seemed very cold. He didn't. You're very warm, and
• 11:35
  Speaker 2: he seems.
• 11:35
Speaker 1: Just so different, just so different. You and you guys
• 11:37
Speaker 1: called him simple, which I wonder if he took offense
• 11:39
  Speaker 1: to that.
• 11:40
  Speaker 3: Bye.
• 11:40
Speaker 1: By the way, Earl, I know you mean the best way.
• 11:42
Speaker 3: Pearl called himself simple. By the time he would say
• 11:45
Speaker 3: I'm a simple man, in my response would always be
• 11:47
Speaker 3: I'm not a not so simple girl.
• 11:49
  Speaker 2: Yeah.
• 11:49
Speaker 1: You know, though, I will tell you this, I watched it,
• 11:52
Speaker 1: and I thought a lot of in a way my
• 11:54
Speaker 1: own relationship because my husband is also a simple man.
• 11:59
Speaker 1: I hope he's not listening. He might admit it. I
• 12:01
Speaker 1: don't know, but he really is. He is simple. He
• 12:03
Speaker 1: is simple. My husband is so easy to please, So
• 12:06
Speaker 1: go with the flow. There's no drama. Does that mean
• 12:09
Speaker 1: I'm interested? No, it doesn't. Sorry, Cal, I have to
• 12:13
Speaker 1: rethink my whole philosophy. But my point is that, like,
• 12:16
Speaker 1: sometimes you need just that sort of I think at
• 12:19
Speaker 1: this point in my life, if something would happen between
• 12:22
Speaker 1: me and my husband, I would want peace and I
• 12:23
  Speaker 1: would want simple I don't need. I am such a
• 12:26
Speaker 1: right freaking mess and like in whatever in a nice way,
• 12:30
Speaker 1: I suppose, but I really am a hot mess, and
• 12:32
Speaker 1: I'm always my anxieties and my issues, and I would
• 12:35
Speaker 1: want a man who I could just lean not and
• 12:37
Speaker 1: who is a rock and solid, And I think that
• 12:41
  Speaker 1: would attract me.
• 12:42
Speaker 2: You're not dating, but you're looking for a relationship. And
• 12:44
Speaker 2: you have the most beautiful daughters. And I always say,
• 12:46
Speaker 2: and Jenna and I say this together is like we
• 12:49
Speaker 2: always judge said, I don't like to judge people, but
• 12:52
Speaker 2: I judge mothers. Like if you have great kids, then
• 12:55
Speaker 2: I'm like, Okay, you've put the time and the effort
• 12:56
Speaker 2: into your children. And your daughters are lovely, thank you,
• 13:00
Speaker 2: so well mannered, well raised, so ell agaant just beautiful.
• 13:04
Speaker 2: So they're dating. You're dating, did you guys talk about
• 13:08
Speaker 2: dating at home over like Sunday dinner.
• 13:11
Speaker 3: Like no, not really. But they were horrified that when
• 13:15
Speaker 3: I said it was going to be on the show,
• 13:18
Speaker 3: because they're like, mom, you could embarrass us.
• 13:21
Speaker 1: And listen, those girls have been through a lot. I
• 13:24
Speaker 1: mean I could see that they are. They probably also
• 13:26
Speaker 1: want you to pick someone just for the peace of
• 13:28
  Speaker 1: it all.
• 13:28
Speaker 3: Right, right, well they want I think at one point
• 13:31
Speaker 3: Sophie says, I want someone that will take care of
• 13:36
  Speaker 3: my mom.
• 13:36
Speaker 1: Yeah, I remember that, which is so sweet.
• 13:38
  Speaker 2: Yeah about crying.
• 13:42
Speaker 3: You know, they're great. They're great girls, and you know,
• 13:44
Speaker 3: I I'm sure I did embarrass that might tell them
• 13:47
Speaker 3: that's my job as a mother.
• 13:49
Speaker 1: They came on the show, I mean they must have
• 13:51
Speaker 1: had I'm sure that they were amazing. Yeah, they were amazing.
• 13:54
Speaker 1: And they also they came and they came on though
• 13:57
Speaker 1: you didn't have to I'm assuming been there in their arm.
• 14:01
Speaker 1: Did they want to come on the show.
• 14:02
Speaker 3: And I mean, I'm they were appro so they did.
• 14:06
Speaker 3: I have another daughter that was living in Paris. I
• 14:08
Speaker 3: was too far for her to count, right, but I
• 14:10
Speaker 3: would have had all three there.
• 14:12
Speaker 2: So what do you think was like the best question
• 14:14
Speaker 2: that they asked, you.
• 14:16
Speaker 3: Know, I think it's do you think that you could
• 14:22
Speaker 3: deal with my mom's world?
• 14:24
Speaker 2: I remember that scene.
• 14:26
Speaker 1: Okay, so how do I put this tactfully? If he
• 14:29
Speaker 1: was the type of guy who had a six pack
• 14:31
Speaker 1: and was tan, would it have bothered you? Because in
• 14:34
Speaker 1: my view, you're on a boat, you know, everybody is
• 14:37
Speaker 1: takes off their shirt, and I saw that you were
• 14:39
  Speaker 1: a little bothered. And I it's not a nice question,
• 14:42
Speaker 1: but I can't always be nice. So was it partially
• 14:44
Speaker 1: that you just you thought that because he was an
• 14:47
Speaker 1: older man without you know, the bronze or off.
• 14:53
Speaker 3: I'm a little more buttoned up than other people. I'm
• 14:58
Speaker 3: pretty conservative, so but I Ralph did have his shirt
• 15:03
Speaker 3: unrettoned as well. Applause to earle that he feels comfortable
• 15:07
Speaker 3: enough to have a shirt. And I wasn't the only
• 15:09
Speaker 3: one commenting, but he was also.
• 15:11
Speaker 2: He was he had his shirt open and was dancing.
• 15:14
Speaker 2: I saw a little yeah movie.
• 15:15
Speaker 1: I mean, I get it. I'm not saying that.
• 15:17
Speaker 3: Yeah, All is a big personality, you know, and I
• 15:21
Speaker 3: just I didn't want to really, you know, do the moves.
• 15:25
Speaker 1: No, listen, there's cringe. There's always a cringe. Fact when
• 15:27
Speaker 1: you're getting to know someone and you're on high alert
• 15:30
Speaker 1: for that. So I do absolutely get that. I think
• 15:33
Speaker 1: I felt it was a little cringey too. But I'm
• 15:35
Speaker 1: just asking you because I'm picturing if, like, what's the
• 15:39
Speaker 1: gorgeous guy that Ashley was, what's his name, walle Walle
• 15:43
Speaker 1: waleh without his shirt on? Would have seemed very natural
• 15:46
Speaker 1: to me, you know what I.
• 15:47
Speaker 3: Mean, I understand what you're saying.
• 15:50
Speaker 2: My take was that he felt really comfortable with you
• 15:53
Speaker 2: at that time, and so he was just like loving
• 15:56
Speaker 2: life and that's what my take.
• 15:57
Speaker 3: Was, and comfortable with everyone else income to go with
• 16:00
  Speaker 3: the cameras filming.
• 16:01
Speaker 1: And oh my god, and by way be comfortable.
• 16:08
Speaker 3: I didn't remember doing a confessional and saying like whatever,
• 16:15
Speaker 3: all the stuff that, but making all the comments about it.
• 16:18
Speaker 1: You know, it's funny because when you watch back confessionals,
• 16:21
Speaker 1: I mean, you guys have both done it way more
• 16:22
Speaker 1: than I have. But I always am like so hard
• 16:26
Speaker 1: on myself and the stuff that comes out of mind,
• 16:27
  Speaker 1: I shouldn't have, I couldn't have, a wouldn't have, And
• 16:29
Speaker 1: the truth is, like from I think when I'm watching,
• 16:32
Speaker 1: like I didn't see it as that harsh at all
• 16:34
  Speaker 1: show like I don't.
• 16:35
Speaker 3: I mean, I'm just being honest.
• 16:36
Speaker 2: Yeah, And I appreciate that because like in all my confessionals,
• 16:40
Speaker 2: from like day one, I was I've always been like
• 16:42
Speaker 2: just totally honest, absolutely, like you know, if you like
• 16:46
Speaker 2: me or you don't like me, I'm just going to
• 16:47
  Speaker 2: tell the truth.
• 16:47
Speaker 3: This is how it's It's funny. I think it was
• 16:50
Speaker 3: my third season. We had a new producer and he
• 16:53
Speaker 3: was asking me the questions for the confessional and I
• 16:56
Speaker 3: answer right away, and then my right leg would tap
• 16:59
Speaker 3: and he goes, what's with the leg tap? And the
• 17:02
Speaker 3: cameraman said, that's what Shannon does. And it's because I
• 17:05
Speaker 3: answer right off the cuff, I don't think about what
• 17:07
Speaker 3: I'm saying, and then afterwards I'm like, oh god, what
• 17:09
Speaker 3: did I say that sentence apart? Sometimes they'll do that.
• 17:13
Speaker 1: Well, that's why you've been a housewife for this long? Yeah, exactly,
• 17:16
Speaker 1: you have. Well there are many reasons, but you haven't.
• 17:18
Speaker 1: You know, you don't edit yourself.
• 17:19
Speaker 2: So everyone's watched out for Shannon's leg tap. That's like,
• 17:32
Speaker 2: let's talk about dating advice. Who gives you the best
• 17:36
Speaker 2: dating advice? Is it your friends, your daughters, like, who
• 17:39
Speaker 2: do you think gives you like the best?
• 17:41
  Speaker 3: I don't really, I don't. I don't know because I don't.
• 17:44
Speaker 3: I don't really date, I mean relationship. You know that.
• 17:49
Speaker 3: I I know that. For me, I'm looking for someone
• 17:54
Speaker 3: I don't have a lot this laundry list of things
• 17:57
Speaker 3: I need. I want to be with someone that has
• 17:59
Speaker 3: a kind heart, that is intelligent and funny because I
• 18:04
Speaker 3: like to laugh, and has strong family values and successful.
• 18:08
Speaker 3: It's not we're too old all of us. My mantra
• 18:12
Speaker 3: is I can contribute, but I cannot take on any
• 18:16
  Speaker 3: new bodies.
• 18:17
  Speaker 2: I love that.
• 18:18
Speaker 3: So you know I'm gonna take that.
• 18:21
Speaker 1: No, listen, in an ideal world, I think, I mean,
• 18:26
Speaker 1: it'd be great. I'm sure to have the load lightened
• 18:29
Speaker 1: as well, right, I mean you carry a lot of course.
• 18:32
Speaker 3: Yeah. I mean I've been single now for you know,
• 18:35
Speaker 3: I think eight years so and I take care of
• 18:38
Speaker 3: myself LANDA seven. You're a yeah, can.
• 18:42
Speaker 1: You fathom like actually enjoy the process of dating like
• 18:45
Speaker 1: I think if I was single right now, I could
• 18:46
Speaker 1: I could enjoy it? Oh?
• 18:48
  Speaker 3: Absolutely?
• 18:49
Speaker 2: I have just super outgoing though.
• 18:51
  Speaker 3: Yeah.
• 18:51
Speaker 2: So I mean I'm not going with like what your
• 18:54
Speaker 2: things like, I'm outgoing with things that I have to do.
• 18:56
Speaker 2: But if it's my choice of all choices, I'll be
• 18:59
Speaker 2: home like watching Love Hotel like.
• 19:01
Speaker 1: Me too, And I hear that, so what I but
• 19:04
Speaker 1: like maybe because I feel like I am older and
• 19:07
Speaker 1: so it's like it's probably not gonna work lists. Just
• 19:09
Speaker 1: have a good time. Maybe we'll end up friends. Maybe
• 19:11
Speaker 1: you'll know someone, maybe I'll know someone for you.
• 19:13
Speaker 2: That's what you gave me, that advice. Actually, yeah, it's
• 19:15
Speaker 2: good advice. Thank you.
• 19:17
  Speaker 1: Oftentimes.
• 19:19
  Speaker 3: No, I mean, I just I I have never been
• 19:23
  Speaker 3: I don't I don't believe I've ever been a priority
• 19:26
Speaker 3: in a relationship. So I want to be someone's priority.
• 19:31
Speaker 3: You know, they can of course have children, but I
• 19:34
Speaker 3: like that the children.
• 19:35
  Speaker 1: That's what you're talking about either. I'm sure you're talking
• 19:37
Speaker 1: about like being made to feel important and yeah, yeah.
• 19:41
Speaker 2: I mean I can completely empathize with that. And you know,
• 19:46
  Speaker 2: you're such a beautiful mother, and I'm like, I'm actually
• 19:48
Speaker 2: it's getting it's making me emotional because you are such
• 19:51
Speaker 2: a beautiful human and I can tell by your kids,
• 19:53
Speaker 2: and you know, I also have felt like that for
• 19:56
Speaker 2: so long, Like I'm always like I just want to
• 19:58
Speaker 2: be the priority. I want the person to be like
• 20:00
Speaker 2: you're my person, right like I was always the wife,
• 20:03
Speaker 2: always taking care of everyone, always making sure everyone had everything,
• 20:06
Speaker 2: did everything right. So I completely empathize with you, and
• 20:10
Speaker 2: I'm sorry that you feel like that, and.
• 20:13
Speaker 3: You're a main character. You are a main character, right right, right,
• 20:16
Speaker 3: thank you. I mean, it's it's all good. And you know,
• 20:19
Speaker 3: of course I want to grow old with a partner
• 20:23
Speaker 3: and be part of a team. Of course I want that.
• 20:26
Speaker 3: But if I don't, you know what my life is.
• 20:29
Speaker 3: I don't think I've ever been happier, and I've been single, yes,
• 20:32
Speaker 3: I mean I was in such a dark place after
• 20:34
Speaker 3: my duy I didn't think that I would crawl out
• 20:37
Speaker 3: of it. And that's when I know I met you, Jenna.
• 20:40
Speaker 3: It was like a month or two two months after,
• 20:42
Speaker 3: just right after it happened.
• 20:43
Speaker 1: And you were almost considered not even going to Brava
• 20:45
  Speaker 1: Kanu or not.
• 20:45
Speaker 3: They didn't want they didn't want me to go okay,
• 20:48
Speaker 3: and I convinced them I don't want to hide behind
• 20:50
Speaker 3: a rock. I want to address this head on, which
• 20:52
Speaker 3: is so and so take accountability for what happened. And
• 20:56
Speaker 3: I'm again like I say this all the time. There's
• 20:59
Speaker 3: not a day that goes by where I don't we
• 21:01
Speaker 3: live that day and thank God that I didn't hurt anyone.
• 21:04
Speaker 3: You know, I've learned so much about myself and I'm
• 21:06
Speaker 3: in a good place. So if I don't get that partner, uh,
• 21:10
Speaker 3: and I spend the rest of my life visiting my
• 21:12
Speaker 3: three girls and their future families, I'm good.
• 21:15
Speaker 2: Oh no, no way to manifest when you get that partner.
• 21:19
Speaker 2: When not, it's like no, no, all positive.
• 21:22
Speaker 3: You know what I like? I as the new year hit,
• 21:25
Speaker 3: I said, I want to I'm going to focus continue
• 21:28
Speaker 3: to focus on me and to make for me to
• 21:33
Speaker 3: feel comfortable in my own skin and feel comfortable being
• 21:36
Speaker 3: on my own. It's a big deal for me.
• 21:38
Speaker 1: So do you like being alone?
• 21:40
  Speaker 3: I didn't before, but it's kind of sometimes it's kind.
• 21:43
Speaker 1: Of nice, welcomed. Sometimes I love being alone. No, I
• 21:47
Speaker 1: think that that's also part of what the good stuff
• 21:49
Speaker 1: that comes from aging is like, right, I love.
• 21:53
Speaker 2: On yourself to be spend time with yourself. Yeah, but
• 21:56
Speaker 2: you know, I've not necessarily alone. It's like loving yourself
• 21:59
  Speaker 2: to like.
• 22:00
Speaker 1: It's like not having anybody to answer to get out
• 22:02
Speaker 1: of here. Even my kids like there gone by. I
• 22:04
Speaker 1: like to just like have the house do my thing
• 22:07
  Speaker 1: on my schedule.
• 22:08
Speaker 3: Yeah, I'll sleep in like, oh, I don't have to
• 22:10
  Speaker 3: get out.
• 22:10
Speaker 1: Or answer to anyone, and nobody's looking at you saying
• 22:13
Speaker 1: why are you sleeping inso late?
• 22:15
Speaker 2: Or so? Who did you get along with the best?
• 22:18
Speaker 2: Was it Giselle, Jazelle.
• 22:20
Speaker 3: And Ashley? All of them?
• 22:21
  Speaker 2: Yeah?
• 22:22
Speaker 3: Really all of them, but Gizelle and actually have known
• 22:25
Speaker 3: each other for years and they have this relationship. So
• 22:28
Speaker 3: I think that of all the women, I spent most
• 22:31
Speaker 3: most of my time with Luinn, but I love all
• 22:34
  Speaker 3: all the girls.
• 22:35
Speaker 1: You just had to, Yeah, you had. There's something. There
• 22:37
Speaker 1: was a great energy between the four of you, and
• 22:39
Speaker 1: it was devoid of housewives, which was really really cool.
• 22:43
Speaker 1: Nobody was trying to get anybody, nobody was right. Everybody
• 22:46
Speaker 1: just seemed to me at least, like it was just
• 22:49
  Speaker 1: love and support.
• 22:50
Speaker 2: And I'm actually glad that you and Luanne spent a
• 22:53
Speaker 2: lot of time together and got a long while because
• 22:55
Speaker 2: she is such a great wingman and she's such a
• 22:58
Speaker 2: great cheerleader as well.
• 23:00
Speaker 1: She is I'm sure she is all of that, but
• 23:03
Speaker 1: we are. I'm sorry what is going on with her
• 23:05
Speaker 1: what's with the ring? Shannon?
• 23:06
  Speaker 2: I don't know.
• 23:07
Speaker 1: Come on, come on now, I'm going to see her later.
• 23:10
Speaker 1: This I can't take it. I have to know the
• 23:14
  Speaker 1: group chats going.
• 23:14
Speaker 2: I have this this Real Housewives group chat. Isn't she
• 23:17
  Speaker 2: on it? So?
• 23:18
Speaker 1: What is going on? Sad?
• 23:20
  Speaker 2: I love the ring? It's a stunner.
• 23:22
Speaker 1: Well, Shannon is not going to tell me. You're going
• 23:23
  Speaker 1: to tell me.
• 23:27
Speaker 2: Crickets after that? I just like, I love that ring.
• 23:29
  Speaker 2: It's beautiful.
• 23:31
Speaker 3: No, okay, all right, I don't know she's not engaged.
• 23:36
Speaker 1: I mean it would it would have been like Sarah Page.
• 23:39
Speaker 1: It would have been like great pr for the show. Right,
• 23:41
  Speaker 1: she's all of a sudden wearing a ring. I mean
• 23:43
Speaker 1: if I was me and I hadn't watched the show
• 23:44
Speaker 1: and I saw Lwayne walking around with the ring, I
• 23:46
Speaker 1: would immediately tune in, right right? I mean it's smart.
• 23:51
Speaker 1: But I love the one guy that.
• 23:52
Speaker 3: She I forget Mark Mark.
• 23:56
Speaker 1: Yes, yeah, yes, Mark, very sweet, funny yeah from New
• 24:03
Speaker 1: York to tell us so one with that? Yes?
• 24:05
Speaker 3: Okay, So I was with Mark last night and he
• 24:08
Speaker 3: told me that he asked you, what an aw date? Kelly?
• 24:10
  Speaker 2: He did?
• 24:10
  Speaker 3: Excuse me?
• 24:12
Speaker 2: Actually, that's incorrect. I took Lewande's advice, and Luanne told
• 24:17
Speaker 2: me she goes Kelly Darling, when you're going to a
• 24:20
Speaker 2: bar and you see a lot of gorgeous men, write
• 24:23
Speaker 2: down in the note a little question and send it
• 24:25
Speaker 2: with the bartender. So I was like, okay, So I
• 24:28
Speaker 2: did it, and it was Mark. He comes, get the
• 24:31
Speaker 2: hell out of here, like literally one hundred percent.
• 24:34
Speaker 3: He went out a couple of times.
• 24:35
Speaker 2: He went at once he came over, he came over
• 24:38
Speaker 2: to me. We were talking and then he's like, yeah,
• 24:42
Speaker 2: I'm on Love Hotel. I have, you know, a bevy
• 24:45
Speaker 2: of children. I lived, and I'm in real estate and
• 24:48
Speaker 2: my house is pink. And he's a very funny guy
• 24:51
Speaker 2: on the show. Just like, what are you doing?
• 24:54
Speaker 1: Jesus, Well, here's a problem. Also now that he's like,
• 24:57
Speaker 1: by the way, another spoiler alert here and now and
• 25:00
Speaker 1: he's gone out with Kelly. We didn't work out with
• 25:03
  Speaker 1: leu Anne.
• 25:04
Speaker 3: Yeah, well next week it'll be pretty clear.
• 25:07
Speaker 1: Oh okay, So whenever those airs, well.
• 25:09
  Speaker 2: Wait, don't tell me, don't tell me. I'm like, I'm
• 25:13
Speaker 2: so invested in he is.
• 25:15
Speaker 3: So he's so funny though, when he that couch and
• 25:19
Speaker 3: said I'm back, and then yes, I love it.
• 25:22
Speaker 1: It was it was so adorable.
• 25:24
Speaker 2: What about when he goes in an interview, They're like,
• 25:27
Speaker 2: what do you think of Andy Cohen? He goes, who's
• 25:29
  Speaker 2: Andy Cohen?
• 25:30
  Speaker 1: Oh?
• 25:30
Speaker 3: He says, the broker, Oh my god, the.
• 25:33
Speaker 2: Broker, outfit, the whole thing like that, but he has
• 25:37
  Speaker 2: great hair.
• 25:37
  Speaker 1: What about you?
• 25:38
Speaker 3: And we're friends and you know I I will tell you.
• 25:44
Speaker 2: You saved him though you brought him back.
• 25:46
Speaker 3: I did, and I'm the one that gave James the key.
• 25:50
Speaker 3: Thank you man. She because right now in the show,
• 25:54
Speaker 3: she and James are enjoying each.
• 25:55
Speaker 2: Listen, I love Luanne so much, like literally, I am
• 25:58
Speaker 2: her rider die. But when that she and James saying,
• 26:01
Speaker 2: I'm just like, no, you.
• 26:02
Speaker 1: Guys, what was it? The one liner? Love love Hotel,
• 26:06
Speaker 1: Love hotel? You know that's showing up on our cabare
• 26:10
Speaker 1: when I'm in a bad mood. By the way, if
• 26:11
Speaker 1: I'm this is true, why can.
• 26:13
  Speaker 2: We not sing?
• 26:14
Speaker 1: Well? I don't know what is going on, what the
• 26:16
Speaker 1: tune was, but I will tell you that when I'm
• 26:18
Speaker 1: in a bad mood, and that it is oftentimes that
• 26:20
Speaker 1: I am, I will pick up my phone and I
• 26:22
Speaker 1: will go to TikTok and I will search Luannella sept
• 26:25
Speaker 1: and watch her do that cabaret and everything is right
• 26:28
Speaker 1: in the world when I see her.
• 26:30
Speaker 2: I love what I'm getting. When I were getting ready,
• 26:32
Speaker 2: I always do like it's the Countess speaking.
• 26:34
Speaker 1: I was telling we did that, TikTok.
• 26:36
  Speaker 2: We did?
• 26:36
  Speaker 1: We did?
• 26:37
  Speaker 2: We did?
• 26:37
Speaker 1: I love watching her do that. Yes, anyway, we even
• 26:40
Speaker 1: though my name is Kelly, So okay, moving on, we
• 26:44
Speaker 1: have diverted, Let's talk about Uh, I'm having fun. I
• 26:49
Speaker 1: always I know it.
• 26:49
Speaker 2: Actually I can just sit here and talk about I
• 26:51
Speaker 2: know what I know.
• 26:52
Speaker 1: I know, I know it so well. Kelly, I actually
• 26:54
Speaker 1: want you to take this question right now because we
• 26:57
Speaker 1: already spoke about you and Mark, and there seems to
• 26:59
Speaker 1: be something in your life that I know nothing about.
• 27:02
Speaker 1: And I heard vaguely about something this morning, and I'd
• 27:05
Speaker 1: like to get to it and maybe you could discuss
• 27:06
Speaker 1: it with Shannon's. You ain't discussing it with me.
• 27:09
  Speaker 2: Jen's like I didn't get the tea, So I again,
• 27:12
Speaker 2: you know what. I just saw you in the green
• 27:14
Speaker 2: room and I was just saying, like I just I
• 27:15
Speaker 2: was very impressed by you, and I just thought that
• 27:18
Speaker 2: you not only handled yourself well, but you are you
• 27:21
Speaker 2: have grace. You have a lot of grace.
• 27:23
  Speaker 3: Thank you.
• 27:24
Speaker 2: I don't know if you know that, but you do,
• 27:27
Speaker 2: because it seems like you don't, but you do well.
• 27:29
Speaker 3: I mean, I'm I'm humble, Like I'm not good with compliments,
• 27:34
  Speaker 3: you know, but.
• 27:35
Speaker 2: So it's like humble on a smoke show. Which way.
• 27:38
Speaker 3: No, but I'm not, I'm not good.
• 27:40
Speaker 2: I just you you have grace, you have a lot
• 27:42
  Speaker 2: of grace.
• 27:42
Speaker 3: Well, thank you for you. That's a big deal for
• 27:44
Speaker 3: me to say thank you, because I.
• 27:46
Speaker 1: Just you want to deny it.
• 27:47
Speaker 3: There's and don't want to deny it. But I just
• 27:49
Speaker 3: don't want to be like.
• 27:51
Speaker 1: It's hard to be a big shot like oh yes.
• 27:53
Speaker 3: Yeah I am. No, I'm not going to say that.
• 27:56
Speaker 2: Yeah, well you do.
• 27:58
Speaker 1: That also makes you stand apart in terms of housewives.
• 28:03
Speaker 3: Oh, I can't tell you how many times I just
• 28:05
Speaker 3: said it to Sarah today, which I had the ego,
• 28:08
Speaker 3: you me both of some of these.
• 28:11
Speaker 1: Give me both kids. Yeah, Kelly, you're not out of
• 28:14
Speaker 1: the hot seat going.
• 28:14
Speaker 2: Yeah, but I think again, just like that's one reason why,
• 28:17
  Speaker 2: like I think I didn't think that I personally am
• 28:19
Speaker 2: very invested in your narrative because and I do feel
• 28:22
Speaker 2: like you. I mean this, I do feel like you're
• 28:25
Speaker 2: very strong, main character energy because of the things that
• 28:28
Speaker 2: you've gone through and the way you're handling things and
• 28:30
Speaker 2: the way you're moving forward. Just like the little things
• 28:32
Speaker 2: you said, like at the top when we talked about
• 28:34
Speaker 2: like relationship versus dating, just like the way that you
• 28:37
Speaker 2: speak about things has it has you know, very a
• 28:40
Speaker 2: very strong like underpinning of grace, which is beautiful. So
• 28:54
Speaker 2: I recently have you, I've been single. I the reason
• 28:57
Speaker 2: that I'm on this podcast is because I called off
• 28:59
Speaker 2: my wedding four days for us. Remember, there was there
• 29:01
Speaker 2: was there was a pre nup situation. There were some
• 29:03
Speaker 2: other situations. Uh, and I just was like, I'm not
• 29:07
Speaker 2: doing that. Fortunately, I haven't seen him, heard from him, nothing,
• 29:09
Speaker 2: which is so great. I literally was like Galley, which
• 29:12
Speaker 2: is amazing, and I'm actually really grateful for that. I
• 29:15
Speaker 2: I miss his mother, but I don't miss him.
• 29:18
  Speaker 1: But that's a first I did.
• 29:20
Speaker 2: I loved his mother. Oh my god, she was beautiful,
• 29:22
Speaker 2: because I don't my parents are deceased. She was just
• 29:24
Speaker 2: a beautiful human. So cut to on this podcast, I've
• 29:30
Speaker 2: been really making a concerted effort to be in therapy
• 29:33
Speaker 2: and also use the podcast as a way for me
• 29:35
Speaker 2: to apply what I'm learning. So whether that's talking about relationships,
• 29:40
Speaker 2: whether that's going on dates, whether that's having jen on
• 29:43
Speaker 2: some of my days, and so, you know, I've been dating,
• 29:48
Speaker 2: you know, I've been going out a lot of dates.
• 29:50
  Speaker 2: And I met someone who's amazing, who's a really really
• 29:53
Speaker 2: great person. And I found out from a fan that
• 30:00
Speaker 2: he was somewhere kissing a woman, not just kissing, but
• 30:05
Speaker 2: making out with a woman. And it was really, really
• 30:08
Speaker 2: really upsetting to me. How long, granted that we're just
• 30:11
  Speaker 2: in the early.
• 30:12
Speaker 3: Stage, how many dates have you been on with him?
• 30:14
Speaker 2: You know, I went with him to Miami. You know,
• 30:17
Speaker 2: I've gone you know, a couple of many, you know,
• 30:19
Speaker 2: like probably like ten dates.
• 30:21
Speaker 3: What you went on a trip with him?
• 30:23
Speaker 2: Yes, I want to trip with him. This was like
• 30:25
Speaker 2: I went to f one with him a couple of
• 30:26
  Speaker 2: weeks ago. He's he's great.
• 30:29
Speaker 1: When did you find out that this happened?
• 30:31
Speaker 2: I found out last weekend during swim week, right before
• 30:34
Speaker 2: I right before to.
• 30:35
Speaker 1: Me, it wasn't bethany Well he did he did. He
• 30:39
Speaker 1: did not get away from her and maybe Rachel you
• 30:43
Speaker 1: just you tell Oh my god. Okay, but anyway, but.
• 30:47
Speaker 3: Did you have a conversation about exclusivity?
• 30:51
  Speaker 2: Like, no, I don't know.
• 30:52
  Speaker 3: Does that happen?
• 30:53
  Speaker 1: It's just like I don't know.
• 30:54
  Speaker 2: Well, no, that's why I'm asking you. That's why I'm
• 30:56
Speaker 2: trusting you. So I do not trust you too.
• 30:58
  Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't feel like you're on No, I don't.
• 31:00
Speaker 2: But I was asking you what your thoughts are.
• 31:03
Speaker 3: Well, I mean, I see that is so hurtful. I'm
• 31:07
Speaker 3: super sensitive, but I'm very sensitive. That's bye bye.
• 31:12
Speaker 2: Plus, I've been in like relationship after relationship. I mean,
• 31:15
Speaker 2: every single man I've ever dated has cheated on me
• 31:18
  Speaker 2: except for one.
• 31:20
Speaker 1: Well, let me ask you this, and.
• 31:21
Speaker 2: They're open about They're like, oh, I just cheated on you.
• 31:23
  Speaker 2: I'm like, that's nice for you. Oh, here's a picture
• 31:25
Speaker 2: of me with this girl. That's so nice.
• 31:26
  Speaker 3: Are you kidding?
• 31:27
Speaker 2: Oh my god, guys are awful with me. I'm like you,
• 31:32
  Speaker 2: it's just okay.
• 31:33
Speaker 1: So you obviously started him. You obviously confronted him.
• 31:36
  Speaker 2: I confronted him and I said, I said, I just
• 31:38
Speaker 2: want to be careful because you know, I don't know
• 31:42
  Speaker 2: what's going on. I don't do like, you know, it's.
• 31:45
Speaker 1: Very magnanimous of you.
• 31:46
  Speaker 2: You and her, like I don't do that. I don't
• 31:49
Speaker 2: you know, if you want to be with her, you
• 31:51
Speaker 2: should be with her, Like I was very I'm an adult, like.
• 31:53
Speaker 1: Did you know who the girl was? No?
• 31:55
  Speaker 2: Okay, no idea?
• 31:56
Speaker 3: And what did he say?
• 31:57
Speaker 2: And he just is like really upset, really really to upset,
• 32:00
Speaker 2: really really upset. But you know, the thing is too,
• 32:04
Speaker 2: is that like dating, you know, there's there's two questions.
• 32:07
Speaker 2: So first of all the advice of like what I
• 32:09
Speaker 2: should do, But the second question is how do you
• 32:11
Speaker 2: navigate being on a show, of being well known and
• 32:15
Speaker 2: navigating this brave new world of dating with these fans
• 32:19
Speaker 2: who are incredibly loyal to me, who are just so
• 32:23
Speaker 2: lovely and have my back, like you can't go anywhere
• 32:28
Speaker 2: because there's going to be somebody and it's not you know,
• 32:30
Speaker 2: we don't just have female fans. We have male fans too,
• 32:32
Speaker 2: by the way, and a lot of guys are always like, hey,
• 32:34
Speaker 2: that guy's not good for you, Like I don't know.
• 32:37
Speaker 2: That also happened to me I had a fan or
• 32:40
Speaker 2: a friend. I don't like to call them fans because
• 32:42
Speaker 2: it sounds super disingenuous. But you know a friend who
• 32:47
Speaker 2: literally said, I know who that person is. That person's
• 32:49
Speaker 2: not a good person, not this guy, another guy.
• 32:51
Speaker 1: So I was just like, you have but kel you
• 32:53
Speaker 1: know what, I'm not sure the answer, because yes, I
• 32:55
Speaker 1: understand ten dates. There's a lot of dates you went
• 32:57
Speaker 1: away with him. Maybe exclusivity is implied. Having said that,
• 33:03
Speaker 1: I think that there is probably under the umbrella. Well,
• 33:05
Speaker 1: we never spoke about being exclusive, so it was a
• 33:09
Speaker 1: one time whatever. Maybe I don't know.
• 33:12
Speaker 3: I never called to my boyfriend. I never like you think, well,
• 33:15
Speaker 3: I will just say that the one difference that I
• 33:21
Speaker 3: had with a couple of the Gala's Unloved Hotel is
• 33:23
Speaker 3: that like they will be intimate with a man just
• 33:28
Speaker 3: to be intimate. For me, it's about the person, it's
• 33:33
  Speaker 3: about that connection. So like, I don't I won't just
• 33:35
Speaker 3: have sex to have sex like that.
• 33:37
Speaker 1: Do you think that's my because I won't either.
• 33:39
  Speaker 2: I won't either.
• 33:40
Speaker 3: So that's my if if you're intimate, was if I'm
• 33:44
Speaker 3: intimate with someone, And so I don't know if you
• 33:46
Speaker 3: went there, but then we're you're not seeing anybody that's interesting?
• 33:51
Speaker 1: Yeah, But I yeah, because and They all were like,
• 33:53
Speaker 1: I wasn't an age thing because I think Luanne felt
• 33:55
Speaker 1: more free in that area. And yeah, I mean.
• 33:59
Speaker 2: Was kissing both guy well.
• 34:00
Speaker 1: But then she also freaked out when the one guy
• 34:03
Speaker 1: had his arms around Cynthia and that was not making out.
• 34:06
Speaker 1: That was we're on you know, love hotel, right, so
• 34:10
Speaker 1: obviously she felt like that was disrespectful when James.
• 34:12
Speaker 2: When James, I thought that was weird. I was like,
• 34:17
Speaker 2: get you get your hands off my friend, right, yeah,
• 34:20
Speaker 2: and by the way, I was supposed to go, I
• 34:23
Speaker 2: know Cynthia, Yeah, but I had to do something with iHeart, yeah,
• 34:28
Speaker 2: which was so much fun too. But yes, luans like
• 34:31
Speaker 2: you should have come, and I was like, oh so.
• 34:33
Speaker 1: Wait, hold on, So what's the outcome? What happened with
• 34:35
Speaker 1: the guy? Is he still alive.
• 34:39
Speaker 3: Days ago trying to contact you?
• 34:41
Speaker 2: Yes, sent me beautiful flower.
• 34:44
Speaker 3: So he says him done with this girl? Was it?
• 34:46
Speaker 2: Has he been dating her?
• 34:47
Speaker 1: Did he just meet her exactly that day? What? Thank you?
• 34:51
Speaker 2: He was drinking a lot and it may or may
• 34:53
Speaker 2: not have been his ex fiancee.
• 34:55
Speaker 1: Now, unfortunately, Kelly, I have to rethink the whole thing.
• 35:01
Speaker 1: I thought it was like, you're going to say he
• 35:03
  Speaker 1: was wasted.
• 35:04
Speaker 2: They were out this. Well, that's why I'm trying to
• 35:06
Speaker 2: be the adult about it, because they were together and
• 35:09
Speaker 2: I said to him, if you want to be together,
• 35:14
Speaker 2: I support you, like I'm not going to get you
• 35:16
Speaker 2: and I'm not going to get in the way of
• 35:17
Speaker 2: someone that's not going to happen if you have a
• 35:19
Speaker 2: connection with someone that's you know, I care about him. Yes,
• 35:23
Speaker 2: I do have self respect.
• 35:24
Speaker 1: I don't know what to say now, you just threw up.
• 35:26
Speaker 2: Plus, I've been like cheated on so many times. I'm
• 35:28
Speaker 2: just like, what's what's different, Like, yeah, you know what,
• 35:32
Speaker 2: I think, Wait, maybe we should do a show on
• 35:33
Speaker 2: like all the cheaters together.
• 35:36
Speaker 3: I think that okay, you knowing that he was with
• 35:41
Speaker 3: someone and then that's okay.
• 35:45
Speaker 2: I'm on Instagram on Instagram she was telling me this,
• 35:47
Speaker 2: and it just was like I was like, oh my gosh.
• 35:50
Speaker 3: I just feel like if you were to accept him
• 35:53
  Speaker 3: back and then you're a relationship, you're saying that's okay.
• 35:57
Speaker 1: Listen, I have I was separated for a year and
• 35:59
Speaker 1: a half. I don't know if you know this, but
• 36:01
Speaker 1: there were infidelities in my marriage coming from both of us.
• 36:05
Speaker 1: The first one was not for me having said that,
• 36:08
Speaker 1: here we are today twenty five years later, twenty six.
• 36:13
Speaker 1: I think we're twenty six. And I'm not saying that
• 36:16
Speaker 1: an affair is not something or I believe personally that
• 36:20
Speaker 1: it depends on the situation and sometimes you can. I'm
• 36:23
Speaker 1: here to tell you move on. Things will change, and
• 36:26
Speaker 1: they certainly did for my husband and I. But this
• 36:28
Speaker 1: kind of thing, it's still so new. He's supposed to
• 36:31
Speaker 1: be obsessed with you and only you.
• 36:34
Speaker 2: So that's why when you were talking at the beginning
• 36:37
Speaker 2: and I was like, I was like, oh my god,
• 36:38
  Speaker 2: I'm gonna start to cry. That's why I'm like, I
• 36:40
Speaker 2: want main character energy.
• 36:42
Speaker 1: No you, no, bit, it's more main character energy than you.
• 36:45
Speaker 1: Get the hell out of here.
• 36:46
Speaker 2: Well, anyway, I just wanted to ask your thoughts.
• 36:49
Speaker 3: Yeah, I just like, Jenquar, how many how many years
• 36:53
Speaker 3: were you married before seven?
• 36:55
Speaker 1: It was the seven year itch? It was the cliche
• 36:57
  Speaker 1: of it all.
• 36:58
Speaker 2: Okay, See, I've been divorced for fifteen and then I
• 37:01
Speaker 2: dated this guy for two. Then I had to cut
• 37:04
Speaker 2: that off because that was not good. That was not
• 37:05
Speaker 2: good for me. And so now I'm like, oh my god,
• 37:08
Speaker 2: is it again? Am I ever going to meet someone
• 37:10
Speaker 2: who just like wants to be with me.
• 37:11
Speaker 3: You know, when you're when when you try and when
• 37:14
Speaker 3: you you know, start and give it your all and
• 37:18
Speaker 3: it doesn't work out. That's why I got so upset
• 37:21
Speaker 3: that Earle and I fought. I just felt like it
• 37:24
  Speaker 3: was ruining.
• 37:25
Speaker 1: Everything because you were so impressed in it at this point, it's.
• 37:29
Speaker 3: Like, oh wait, this is so great and what happened
• 37:33
Speaker 3: Like now it's just blown up into this big ordeal
• 37:36
Speaker 3: and it really upset me because it's like, just you know.
• 37:40
Speaker 2: But you didn't get upset and talk about how upset
• 37:43
Speaker 2: you were. You you pivoted and did something kind for
• 37:46
Speaker 2: him and changed the narrative. And so that's one reason
• 37:51
Speaker 2: why I also think that you're a great advice person giver,
• 37:55
Speaker 2: because you know, and just like Jen was saying, it's like,
• 37:59
Speaker 2: you know, you're so that you're saying it. It's like
• 38:01
Speaker 2: just because there is no right way to have a relationship,
• 38:06
Speaker 2: to have a marriage, there's no right way. There's no book,
• 38:09
Speaker 2: do you know what I mean, There's no like you know,
• 38:11
Speaker 2: people don't have you know, there's a lot of ways
• 38:14
Speaker 2: you can move in and out of that that license
• 38:17
  Speaker 2: if you.
• 38:18
Speaker 1: Will although I will tell you that I have much
• 38:20
Speaker 1: less patience now for friends of mine like at our
• 38:24
Speaker 1: age ladies, and I think we're all about the same age.
• 38:27
Speaker 1: Forgive me if you guys are younger than me, But
• 38:29
Speaker 1: I feel like you got to be a little smarter.
• 38:32
Speaker 1: You got to sort of see things in a different
• 38:34
Speaker 1: way that you did, like like, oh, you know, I
• 38:37
Speaker 1: mean you have to be And I'm not saying you
• 38:38
Speaker 1: have to be defensive, and I'm not saying that you
• 38:40
Speaker 1: have to overthink everything, but there are not like Kelly.
• 38:43
Speaker 1: This to me is a perfect example. If I that
• 38:46
Speaker 1: happened to me and I was let's say I was
• 38:47
Speaker 1: crazy about a guy when I was twenty five and
• 38:50
Speaker 1: he had done that, I would let it go. In
• 38:51
Speaker 1: about two seconds. I would convince myself and everyone around
• 38:55
Speaker 1: me that it was that he fell into her mouth
• 38:57
Speaker 1: like that. That would be like the narric because I wouldn't.
• 39:00
Speaker 1: I would just feel that desperation and not enough you know,
• 39:05
Speaker 1: self worth to say wait a second, your ex fiancee
• 39:07
Speaker 1: to get the fuck out of here. I think now,
• 39:10
Speaker 1: I hope now I've come a long way from that
• 39:12
Speaker 1: at age fifty six, and I feel like you guys,
• 39:15
Speaker 1: we would we have to be a little smarter.
• 39:17
Speaker 3: Now, well, I'm sixty one, so if suprating when look
• 39:21
Speaker 3: at her, Like, when I do a relationship, I have
• 39:27
Speaker 3: to know that it is the right relationship because I
• 39:30
Speaker 3: got one more shot. You know, I'm not gonna I it,
• 39:34
Speaker 3: just I have to know. So that's not a good
• 39:37
  Speaker 3: way to start.
• 39:37
Speaker 1: When you look back at your other relationships, Like do
• 39:40
Speaker 1: you see things now, I don't know if we're geting,
• 39:43
Speaker 1: we're not even the names, but do you see that
• 39:46
Speaker 1: there were warning signs that you.
• 39:48
Speaker 2: Importantly right from the get really but by the way,
• 39:51
Speaker 2: like you know, to your point, I'm saying, by the way,
• 39:56
Speaker 2: to your point. So I'm like, don't have to say anything,
• 39:58
Speaker 2: uh no, But to your point, when you do something,
• 40:03
Speaker 2: you set a precedence like okay, I'm doing this. If
• 40:06
Speaker 2: you let me get away with it's like a kid,
• 40:08
  Speaker 2: it's like you're you. I didn't say no, I'm gonna
• 40:11
Speaker 2: let you do it. That they're going to keep doing
• 40:12
Speaker 2: it over again again in different ways. Yeah, they're not
• 40:14
Speaker 2: going to be doing maybe the same thing, but they're
• 40:17
Speaker 2: going to do things similar ways. And you know, I'm
• 40:22
Speaker 2: not like I'm not like, oh my god, here are
• 40:24
Speaker 2: the rules. I just feel like you should just.
• 40:26
Speaker 3: Know, right. But the good thing, if you want to
• 40:30
Speaker 3: call it good, the positive that is coming out of
• 40:34
Speaker 3: this you're the fan reaching out to you and telling
• 40:38
Speaker 3: you about this ten date guy, is that you've found
• 40:41
Speaker 3: out now. Yeah, you know, because if you if you
• 40:44
  Speaker 3: meet someone who's a stranger, I think it takes a
• 40:46
Speaker 3: good two years to get to know somebody, to truly
• 40:49
Speaker 3: get to know who they are, So you know, you
• 40:54
Speaker 3: can nip that in the butt.
• 40:55
Speaker 2: But maybe I'm just too open. Maybe I'm just too
• 40:59
Speaker 2: but maybe honestly, maybe it's.
• 41:01
Speaker 1: Beginning now it's z ex fiance, so like Kelly, you
• 41:03
  Speaker 1: don't need that.
• 41:04
Speaker 2: But then what about the other guy that I was
• 41:06
Speaker 2: that you know, it was like we had to get married,
• 41:08
Speaker 2: he had to get engaged, he had to do all
• 41:10
Speaker 2: these things, Like what is it about not them? What
• 41:13
Speaker 2: is it about me that I'm longing? I don't have
• 41:15
Speaker 2: my main character, grace Shanon.
• 41:17
Speaker 1: I don't know what you mean whether they want to
• 41:18
Speaker 1: lock you down, what do you mean?
• 41:21
Speaker 2: Yes, they're like, okay, you now good? You want that
• 41:24
Speaker 2: je you can't pull me. I may or may not
• 41:26
Speaker 2: be wearing extensions like please do not I.
• 41:28
Speaker 1: Wish I hope that continues for you and for Shannon. Yeah,
• 41:31
Speaker 1: I mean I like for them to want to lock
• 41:32
  Speaker 1: you guys.
• 41:33
Speaker 3: I would like take charge person.
• 41:35
Speaker 2: Well, not calling me and saying like we're getting married tomorrow.
• 41:38
Speaker 1: But guess what. You're strong enough at this point you're
• 41:40
Speaker 1: like to say, guess what, No, we're not getting married tomorrow.
• 41:43
Speaker 1: And that's the maybe you would have been, you know,
• 41:46
Speaker 1: a different person when you were even in your forties.
• 41:49
Speaker 2: Like listen, it's like a high school musical song, strong.
• 41:52
Speaker 1: You all, Yeah, don't ever do that again, please, I
• 41:57
  Speaker 1: beg of you.
• 41:59
Speaker 2: Everyone can sing, no, not everyone. Yes, anyway, everyone's a singer.
• 42:03
Speaker 1: All right, you guys, So all right, So anyway, Shannon, like,
• 42:08
Speaker 1: just is there any takeaway from love hotality advice you
• 42:12
Speaker 1: want to give to our listeners in terms of, like
• 42:14
Speaker 1: you put yourself out there again? And which is I
• 42:18
Speaker 1: think you know that's the gift of you. But anything
• 42:21
Speaker 1: you'd want to you know impart.
• 42:24
Speaker 3: Well, I just think that as far as dating goes it,
• 42:29
Speaker 3: you should be vulnerable and you should be honest. Like
• 42:32
Speaker 3: I was criticized a bit for like why are you
• 42:35
Speaker 3: telling everybody that you got a duy because it's part
• 42:38
Speaker 3: of me. Let's just get it out of the way.
• 42:40
  Speaker 3: I love that.
• 42:41
Speaker 1: I just love that. That is the key, I think
• 42:45
Speaker 1: one of the keys to being successful in housewives. Also,
• 42:48
Speaker 1: you got to own your you can't.
• 42:50
Speaker 2: But it's interesting because I was raised to like not talk.
• 42:53
Speaker 2: Oh now, you don't talk about anything. Everything's fine, everything's perfect,
• 42:57
Speaker 2: it's all great news.
• 42:58
  Speaker 1: You know.
• 42:58
Speaker 2: Oh, you want to hear the good news. That's like
• 43:00
Speaker 2: my father would say, I want to hear the good news.
• 43:02
Speaker 2: Want to hear the great news. It was always great, great, good, good,
• 43:05
Speaker 2: good good. There was no bad. There's something Oh my god,
• 43:07
Speaker 2: that's that's no, no, no, no, we don't talk about that.
• 43:10
  Speaker 1: Yeah.
• 43:11
Speaker 3: I actually sat down with Earle and I brought him
• 43:15
Speaker 3: up to my room and I played him clips from
• 43:20
Speaker 3: the Real Housewives of Orange County Cool so he would
• 43:23
Speaker 3: have kind of an understanding of there's the door shon door.
• 43:30
  Speaker 1: Yeah.
• 43:30
Speaker 3: I showed him that scene and he was like, you've
• 43:33
Speaker 3: got to be kidding me.
• 43:34
Speaker 1: Well, that wasn't embarrassing for you.
• 43:35
Speaker 2: That was just funny.
• 43:36
Speaker 3: Yeah. Yeah, but I but I showed him that and
• 43:39
Speaker 3: a couple others, and you know, he kind of got
• 43:41
Speaker 3: it a little bit. It was just so refreshing for
• 43:43
Speaker 3: us to have the men not like none of them
• 43:47
Speaker 3: had seen the House I shows before, so that was
• 43:49
Speaker 3: really nice that they were getting to know us for us,
• 43:53
Speaker 3: you know, is it?
• 43:53
Speaker 2: The guys were great. The guys were really great.
• 43:56
  Speaker 1: I really hope. I don't know what. I know. You're
• 43:58
Speaker 1: not going to tell me, but I was still waiting
• 44:00
Speaker 1: on the last episode. I really hope you, guys, even
• 44:02
Speaker 1: if it's not romantic, end up, like you know, being
• 44:05
Speaker 1: friends and having some relationship because I loved I did
• 44:08
Speaker 1: really grow to love the two of you together.
• 44:10
  Speaker 2: I can't wait.
• 44:10
  Speaker 1: Very sweet.
• 44:11
Speaker 3: I will say that there is one of the ladies
• 44:16
Speaker 3: of the four that is still dating someone Lunne.
• 44:21
Speaker 1: Holy shit, you heard it here first. No, I know
• 44:25
Speaker 1: they're all nodding there.
• 44:26
Speaker 2: No, No, don't know, just say wrong to figure it out.
• 44:33
Speaker 1: I could figure it out, Shannon. I would like to
• 44:36
Speaker 1: to be you, Jelle.
• 44:37
  Speaker 2: I love, I love.
• 44:41
Speaker 1: I'm trying to read her eyes, you guys.
• 44:42
Speaker 2: But she, Shannon is an ice queen.
• 44:45
Speaker 1: God, she's not letting it go.
• 44:47
  Speaker 3: I know.
• 44:47
Speaker 1: Tell us, tell us, tell us, it's just too strong.
• 44:50
Speaker 1: We can't break her all right? Three more?
• 44:53
Speaker 2: Wait, I have to ask one more question. I have
• 44:54
Speaker 2: to one more question. Kissing on camera and how was that?
• 44:57
Speaker 3: You know what? Like at a certain point, you know,
• 45:00
Speaker 3: you just forget that microphone is on your back and
• 45:03
Speaker 3: that you've got cameras. I forgot that they have those
• 45:06
Speaker 3: robotic cameras in the room so early. And I did
• 45:10
Speaker 3: have like a little makeout session, but I don't think.
• 45:13
  Speaker 3: I don't think i've seen it yet.
• 45:15
  Speaker 1: I don't seen it. I don't remember see it. I do,
• 45:16
Speaker 1: and I remember very well the makeout sessions because I
• 45:18
Speaker 1: can't stand on TV when you hear the noises. I'm sorry.
• 45:22
Speaker 2: I love Ashley, but he was like the I was like,
• 45:28
  Speaker 2: oh my god.
• 45:28
Speaker 1: I was like, right, the one lizard kissing or something.
• 45:31
  Speaker 2: Yeah.
• 45:32
Speaker 1: I was like, whoa, yeah, nothing alse him.
• 45:34
Speaker 2: He's very good God, no, no, he's he is very
• 45:37
Speaker 2: good looking. But just like the yeah, I'll be like,
• 45:40
Speaker 2: oh my god, you scare me.
• 45:41
Speaker 1: If you're with Ashley Darby, you're gonna oh too.
• 45:44
Speaker 2: It's hard not to maybe do something else with maybe
• 45:47
Speaker 2: not with the volume.
• 45:49
Speaker 3: I don't know. It is funny because after my first
• 45:52
Speaker 3: date with Earle, we were at the elevators and you're
• 45:55
Speaker 3: not supposed to be alone, you know, not on camera,
• 45:59
Speaker 3: and he kissed me and we got in a little
• 46:03
Speaker 3: bit trouble. Yeah, because it wasn't on camera. Wow.
• 46:06
