- 25:20twins sign athletic scholarships with Union Commonwealth by David Pratt. Patrick.
- 25:26Twin brothers, Connor and Cooper Fleming have enjoyed outstanding prep
- 25:31careers at Morgan County High School. Now the pair are
- 25:34set to take their talents to Barbaraville as they officially
- 25:38become Bulldogs at the Union Commonwealth University. Connor has signed
- 25:43to play football, while Cooper will play baseball. Cooper was
- 25:47the first to sign as a duo will soon trade
- 25:51the blue and gold for black and orange. For these
- 25:54talented young men, maintaining the tight brotherly bond on the
- 25:59same college camp was an opportunity simply too good to
- 26:03pass up. I think it's very special and cool to
- 26:06be able to attend college with my brother, Cooper said.
- 26:11And although we'll be playing different sports, we'll be doing
- 26:14what we love. I look forward to cheering for Connor
- 26:18during my off season. It will be fun going to
- 26:22the baseball games to watch Coop play, although it's kind
- 26:26of stinks that I won't be catching passes or taking
- 26:29handoffs from him anymore. Cooper was the Cougar's quarterback. Connor said.
- 26:36The twin played both sports at Morgan County High School
- 26:41and will now focus on their perspective choices. Connor had
- 26:44six hundred and forty total offense yards and seven touchdowns
- 26:49as a senior while accounting forty eight points on the
- 26:52football field. Cooper hit a team high of zero point
- 26:57four to four on the baseball diamond, thirty nine hits,
- 27:01twenty five runs scored in seventeen RBIs. As one would expect,
- 27:06the boy's family is beaming with pride. Mom Dad, Mama,
- 27:11at Nini, my cousins, and everyone is very excited and
- 27:16proud that all the hard work is paid off. I
- 27:19think Mom and Dad are the happiest that we will
- 27:22be so close to each other at the same time
- 27:25and at the same college, Connor said. The only thing
- 27:28that Mom won't be happy about is having to watch
- 27:31Connor still take hits on the football field. Connor added,
- 27:37this concludes the excerpts from recent editions of The Licking
- 27:41Valley Courier. Your reader has been janis on behalf of
- 27:44everyone here at a radio. Thank you for listening, keep
- 27:48on listening, and I hope you have a very good day.
