- 0:13Speaker 1: Hi, Welcome to another.
- 0:17Speaker 2: We're live because it's been a long day. But it's
- 0:21Speaker 2: only like Tenna, I don't.
- 0:22Speaker 1: Know, you know what. We're just trying to figure it out.
- 0:24Speaker 1: We're working it out, We're working it out. But welcome
- 0:27Speaker 1: to another episode of Diamonds in the Rough, Season nineteen,
- 0:30Speaker 1: episode twelve.
- 0:32Speaker 2: What's your name?
- 0:34Speaker 1: What's your name?
- 0:35Speaker 2: What's your name? Your Teddy Mellencamp. I'm Erica Jane and
- 0:40Speaker 2: we're gonna do this. Okay, what's your dream? That's all
- 0:46Speaker 2: I can think about.
- 0:47Speaker 1: What's your dream? From a pretty woman? That's so sweet,
- 0:52Speaker 1: I know. So we start out the episode with a
- 0:57Speaker 1: flash forward, which I always love a fly forward. Yeah,
- 1:01Speaker 1: but it's Gina thinking that Tamara and Shannon made good
- 1:04Speaker 1: progress but then it went left. Tamra, Emily and Jen
- 1:08Speaker 1: also discussed the trips and Emily tells them that Gretcher's
- 1:13Speaker 1: has loose lips when she drinks fireball. She does, and
- 1:16Speaker 1: then they show a little pan of Tamra flipping out,
- 1:19Speaker 1: flipping off Gretchers.
- 1:21Speaker 2: Who held her wrists, which at all then I would
- 1:24Speaker 2: have come on glued. I have I have an opinion
- 1:27Speaker 2: about that whole scene.
- 1:28Speaker 1: I know, I know, we're kinda have to get there.
- 1:31Speaker 1: But if I have to take a fireball shot every
- 1:34Speaker 1: single time that I hear the word gretcher's, I will
- 1:37Speaker 1: be blacked out.
- 1:38Speaker 2: Yeah, I agree, And I thought fireball was like ten
- 1:42Speaker 2: to fifteen years ago. Is anybody still doing it?
- 1:44Speaker 1: Apparently the people that still talk about things that only happened.
- 1:48Speaker 2: Years ago are stuck and they're still drinking fireball. I
- 1:51Speaker 2: thought we've moved on. I don't even I don't even
- 1:53Speaker 2: drink anymore. You know, I didn't drink in my entire thirties.
- 1:57Speaker 2: I've never been like a big drinker. But when I
- 1:59Speaker 2: was going through the worst that I was drinking at
- 2:01Speaker 2: nine am because who wanted to be alive? But my
- 2:03Speaker 2: point is I don't miss drinking. Yeah, I only drink
- 2:07Speaker 2: when we.
- 2:07Speaker 1: Do the show.
- 2:10Speaker 2: I only drink when I do Elsewheas you're like that
- 2:14Speaker 2: tells you something, Yeah, I swear to God, I seasonal
- 2:18Speaker 2: drinking four months out of the year.
- 2:21Speaker 1: But it's not fireball.
- 2:22Speaker 2: It ain't fireball.
- 2:23Speaker 1: No, No, but maybe you should try that.
- 2:26Speaker 2: No, I used to. I'm telling you ten fifteen years ago.
- 2:29Speaker 1: Is that a fireball?
- 2:30Speaker 2: Is that a cinnamon quote? Whiskey? Kind of thing.
- 2:33Speaker 1: But is that what you put like when you're having
- 2:35Speaker 1: a yaeger bomb.
- 2:37Speaker 2: Oh, I threw up on yaeger bombs when I was sixteen.
- 2:40Speaker 1: Like, there's jeger and then you drop something.
- 2:42Speaker 2: It's just a street shot. It's just a cinnamon flavored
- 2:46Speaker 2: whiskey slash bourbon. I think it's is it bourbon? It's whiskey.
- 2:49Speaker 2: It's one of them. Yeah, see it's very well, there
- 2:53Speaker 2: was anti freeze in it. We'll just so everybody had
- 2:56Speaker 2: to quit drinking. Yeah, it's it's cinnamon flavavored to whiskey.
- 3:00Speaker 2: But there's so many I like whiskey, but there's so
- 3:02Speaker 2: many good whiskeys to drink other than this one. It
- 3:06Speaker 2: feels very frat party.
- 3:09Speaker 1: Four to eight hours earlier, Jen and Ryan discussed their
- 3:11Speaker 1: wedding plans. Jen brings up to Mechila and how she
- 3:15Speaker 1: and Gina had to talk Shannon and to riding home
- 3:17Speaker 1: with them.
- 3:18Speaker 2: I saw that. Yeah, why what what's with the not talking?
- 3:23Speaker 1: Could you imagine going that long of a trip without
- 3:25Speaker 1: a word?
- 3:26Speaker 2: No, not on our cast? Yeah, I mean come on,
- 3:29Speaker 2: you were there.
- 3:30Speaker 1: I mean there are car camps.
- 3:32Speaker 2: Yeah, I remember when you used to eat thumbs and
- 3:33Speaker 2: throw up when you were pregnant with Dove.
- 3:35Speaker 1: I to eat dumbs and throw up.
- 3:38Speaker 2: She's pregnant with Dove and which you'd have to roll
- 3:40Speaker 2: down the window anytime we got in a car because
- 3:42Speaker 2: of vomit. I felt so bad for you. But then
- 3:44Speaker 2: I started eating Tumbs's eight tombs.
- 3:48Speaker 1: Yeah, antacids. They were good for us.
- 3:50Speaker 2: They were good for us.
- 3:51Speaker 1: That's how we got through. But in this moment, Ryan
- 3:54Speaker 1: says he gives Shannon credit because she tried with Tamra
- 3:58Speaker 1: and now she's out. But he also seemed almost like,
- 4:03Speaker 1: I don't know, not sympathetic, but understanding of camera.
- 4:07Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean it was a much more neutral stance
- 4:10Speaker 2: than I've seen him take, which I I as I've
- 4:13Speaker 2: said a million fucking times, I prefer out of the men. Yeah,
- 4:17Speaker 2: I like the way, where is this girl Katie? She
- 4:20Speaker 2: just poof went, oh yeah she's poof man erased poof
- 4:25Speaker 2: from the record.
- 4:26Speaker 1: Goodbye, Like wow, like here gone. Not even a mention of.
- 4:31Speaker 2: Her, That's what I'm saying. Not even can I say
- 4:34Speaker 2: something what I don't miss it? You don't, I don't.
- 4:38Speaker 2: I'm just focused on the girls. I know, well, I
- 4:41Speaker 2: mean you may miss it, but I only don't miss it.
- 4:44Speaker 2: I like, I like this cast as it is.
- 4:48Speaker 1: I totally forgot until you just told me.
- 4:50Speaker 2: See there you go. I know that's not great, it's
- 4:54Speaker 2: not great for her.
- 4:55Speaker 1: But do you think all this Ryan and Jen wedding talk,
- 4:58Speaker 1: do you think they're gonna get a wedding spy?
- 5:00Speaker 2: I hope not, because you know it always goes bad.
- 5:06Speaker 2: We all everybody's getting a divorce. Yeah you me, Kyle three,
- 5:13Speaker 2: don't do it. I mean, as lovely as it sounds,
- 5:16Speaker 2: and then one day, however long it takes, it'll blow
- 5:19Speaker 2: up me and be like, you know, just save the money.
- 5:22Speaker 2: Well maybe you get paid, so maybe you need the money.
- 5:24Speaker 2: I don't know. Yeah, maybe if it's a good business
- 5:26Speaker 2: deal and Ryan you will know, then take it.
- 5:30Speaker 1: Well, maybe it'll happen in Temecula.
- 5:35Speaker 2: Motherfucker. I almost spit this out on you. He did
- 5:40Speaker 2: say he liked or somebody said they liked the house.
- 5:43Speaker 2: Oh my god, wow, way to like Bamboozo. Just choke
- 5:48Speaker 2: me out in this, all right? He said he did
- 5:52Speaker 2: say it.
- 5:53Speaker 1: But regardless of which couple were listening to, whether it's
- 5:56Speaker 1: Jen and Ryan are Gretchen slide, they all want to
- 5:59Speaker 1: steer the conversation towards Tamra.
- 6:00Speaker 2: Yes, and I but she's Yeah, everybody needs to get
- 6:05Speaker 2: off Tarmra and be your own interesting situation. I mean,
- 6:09Speaker 2: I love it that she's. Look, you have to she's
- 6:13Speaker 2: clearly I'm just gonna say the lightning rod for this
- 6:16Speaker 2: show right now, right damn near always. But yeah, stop
- 6:21Speaker 2: pointing at her.
- 6:24Speaker 1: It gets old.
- 6:25Speaker 2: And if you don't like her, stop talking about her. Yeah,
- 6:28Speaker 2: neutralize her. You know, I always say that like about people.
- 6:31Speaker 2: It's like you can tell when people are done with somebody,
- 6:34Speaker 2: they just don't talk about them anymore.
- 6:36Speaker 1: I mean, think about Poof.
- 6:37Speaker 2: Poof, That's what I'm just saying.
- 6:39Speaker 1: Think about that, Think about poof poof. We don't know,
- 6:42Speaker 1: we don't know, don't have anything.
- 6:45Speaker 2: In the floating in the matrix somewhere. We don't know
- 6:49Speaker 2: what happened. That's my point. Stop talking about it.
- 6:54Speaker 1: Yeah, But then meanwhile, Tamara is downloading Eddie on what
- 6:57Speaker 1: Happened with Shannon.
- 6:59Speaker 2: Eddie seems nice.
- 7:00Speaker 1: He's a nice guy. Yeah, he's a nice nice.
- 7:02Speaker 2: Ryan seems nice, Like everybody seems nice. I just don't
- 7:05Speaker 2: like it when they get in this.
- 7:07Speaker 1: Yeah thing, but Eddie, I think does a good job
- 7:10Speaker 1: of just saying, like, you know, he has his feelings.
- 7:13Speaker 1: He's been around these a long.
- 7:15Speaker 2: Time, christ and they've said some horrible things about him.
- 7:17Speaker 1: Yeah, and he says that, you know, he thinks that Shannon.
- 7:23Speaker 1: You know, I'm going to paraphrase, but Shannon's not necessarily malicious.
- 7:28Speaker 1: She's just Shannon.
- 7:29Speaker 2: She's just Shannon. He's cutting her a nice break, actually.
- 7:32Speaker 1: Yeah, and he's saying that Greg is actually terrible.
- 7:38Speaker 2: Well, I get that evil. He used the word evil,
- 7:41Speaker 2: evil is strong because I'm sure she feels evil to you, Eddie. No,
- 7:47Speaker 2: and I'm not trying to take away anything like that
- 7:49Speaker 2: from anybody, but yeah, he's basically saying, look, this is
- 7:53Speaker 2: how Shannon is, but Gretchen is actively trying to do shit.
- 7:58Speaker 2: Can you believe like staying up actively trying to hurt somebody,
- 8:02Speaker 2: Like I am an asshole, but only I'm reactive. Like
- 8:06Speaker 2: I don't stay up at night and think of ways
- 8:09Speaker 2: to scheming. It's not the way my brain works. Now.
- 8:14Speaker 2: I'll defend myself and be a total bitch, but I
- 8:18Speaker 2: don't lay at night away like at night and think
- 8:21Speaker 2: of ways to like.
- 8:22Speaker 1: How can I hurt?
- 8:23Speaker 2: How can I how can I hurt someone or how
- 8:25Speaker 2: what do I know or what would be hurtful. I
- 8:29Speaker 2: just don't do that.
- 8:30Speaker 1: And then pretend that you're not and.
- 8:31Speaker 2: Then pretend that you're not. That way, I would have
- 8:33Speaker 2: had a lot more respect. And I'm jumping ahead here
- 8:35Speaker 2: when we get to the shooting place, which I have
- 8:39Speaker 2: a real problem with that place, But I don't set
- 8:42Speaker 2: these girls up to being robbed like that.
- 8:44Speaker 1: I didn't like that.
- 8:45Speaker 2: We live in a very violent city, and first off,
- 8:48Speaker 2: don't do that. Ship if you've ever been a victim
- 8:49Speaker 2: of crime, or if you have anybody in law enforcement field,
- 8:51Speaker 2: don't don't fucking do that shit. I thought it was
- 8:55Speaker 2: bad on productions part. I thought it was bad on
- 8:58Speaker 2: the school's part. I thought it was out on the
- 9:00Speaker 2: women's part. I would if I had been there and
- 9:02Speaker 2: you did some shit to me like that, I would
- 9:04Speaker 2: have left and I'd have been like, let me tell
- 9:06Speaker 2: you right now, as a victim of crime, don't ever
- 9:09Speaker 2: fucking do that shit to me again. Yeah, don't ever
- 9:11Speaker 2: ever ever do that to me again.
- 9:13Speaker 1: You could see the fear and Tamera and Gina's face.
- 9:17Speaker 1: I could see her moving across, Yeah, like frightened.
- 9:20Speaker 2: Yeah, and don't do that to us, include all women,
- 9:24Speaker 2: you know, like we're already nervous enough. Don't do that.
- 9:27Speaker 1: And why didn't all the women get it? Well, if
- 9:31Speaker 1: you're gonna do it, then all the women.
- 9:33Speaker 2: I didn't like it at all. I didn't like it
- 9:35Speaker 2: that it was didn't plan that well, well, I don't
- 9:38Speaker 2: like that ship. I don't like it because you know what,
- 9:41Speaker 2: any of us can be a victim of crime. And
- 9:42Speaker 2: if you've ever seen what a victim of crime looks like,
- 9:46Speaker 2: like violent, Yeah, it's not funny. And you don't know
- 9:49Speaker 2: what you're gonna do if somebody sticks a gun in
- 9:51Speaker 2: your face. None of you do. None of you are trained,
- 9:54Speaker 2: and none of you have been in that situation, and
- 9:56Speaker 2: thank god that you haven't.
- 9:57Speaker 1: Yeah, but before we even get to that, we're back
- 10:12Speaker 1: at Gretchen's where she explained to Slade how back when
- 10:15Speaker 1: she was singing, Tamra attacked her music in the press,
- 10:18Speaker 1: so that's why she brought up the rumors. Greta ten
- 10:22Speaker 1: years later, I beg you, like, let's just put let's
- 10:25Speaker 1: make like a nice cap like, please stop talking about
- 10:28Speaker 1: anything ten years and how about.
- 10:31Speaker 2: We just talk about what happened these last few months
- 10:33Speaker 2: when you came on the show and got reunited.
- 10:35Speaker 1: Yeah, let's let's try that, right, But then she tries
- 10:38Speaker 1: to play dumb again, and she's like, she says she
- 10:42Speaker 1: was trying to talk about the music. So she's frustrated
- 10:45Speaker 1: at Slade for bringing up the tryst.
- 10:47Speaker 2: I love the way that she threw him under well,
- 10:50Speaker 2: especially because she.
- 10:53Speaker 1: Said the tryst in the car. She didn't say the
- 10:55Speaker 1: word trist, but she's the one that brought that whole
- 10:57Speaker 1: thing up in the car.
- 10:58Speaker 2: This is kind of on set at first, Yeah, said the.
- 11:00Speaker 1: Whole thing, and then she says she wasn't trying to
- 11:04Speaker 1: cause conflict.
- 11:06Speaker 2: But then what were you doing?
- 11:08Speaker 1: If you weren't trying to cause conflict, what are you
- 11:09Speaker 1: trying to do? You're trying to be funny. If you're
- 11:11Speaker 1: trying to be funny, you would have just played a clip.
- 11:12Speaker 2: Of the song or go down memory road and just say, yeah,
- 11:14Speaker 2: I made this song was kind of fun, leave it
- 11:16Speaker 2: there whatever.
- 11:17Speaker 1: Yeah, no she didn't. That's come on, man, But Greta's
- 11:21Speaker 1: got to stop lying about things that are on camera.
- 11:24Speaker 1: We saw it.
- 11:26Speaker 2: Yeah, and you know she's also too experienced. This is
- 11:29Speaker 2: what bothers me is Gretchen has experienced stuff enough to
- 11:33Speaker 2: know that that's going to come back. You realize that.
- 11:35Speaker 1: But maybe and then, but also doesn't this make you think?
- 11:38Speaker 1: It makes me go back? And you know how she said, like,
- 11:40Speaker 1: I never said those things to Katie.
- 11:43Speaker 2: Yes she did.
- 11:44Speaker 1: Yeah, So it's like if she never said those things
- 11:46Speaker 1: to Katie, if she seems pretty loose lipped after a
- 11:49Speaker 1: couple of those.
- 11:50Speaker 2: Fireballs, fire ball, fire ball.
- 11:56Speaker 1: So it makes me start believing her less and less.
- 12:00Speaker 2: I just don't like this. I don't know anyway. Temora
- 12:08Speaker 2: and Sophia visit the Musicians Institute in Los Angeles, and
- 12:11Speaker 2: Sophia is struggling with the idea of moving out rather
- 12:14Speaker 2: than just commuting. Girl, you are not spending your time
- 12:16Speaker 2: on the four h five or the one ten or
- 12:18Speaker 2: wherever the hell that is. Get yourself a rundown piece
- 12:22Speaker 2: of shit apartment in Hollywood. We've all done it. Save
- 12:26Speaker 2: your time and your sanity and work on your music
- 12:28Speaker 2: and walk to school.
- 12:29Speaker 1: Yeah that is.
- 12:31Speaker 2: That is not the commuting love you.
- 12:34Speaker 1: No, that would not.
- 12:36Speaker 2: And you need to be where all the other you know, like,
- 12:39Speaker 2: you need to be in that community. You need to
- 12:41Speaker 2: be able to run into somebody's home studio or record this.
- 12:45Speaker 2: You know how musicians and artists are like three in
- 12:48Speaker 2: the morning, Yo, can you come do this verse now? Yeah? Now, okay,
- 12:53Speaker 2: like you need all that, like you're young, do all that?
- 12:56Speaker 1: Get the experience?
- 12:56Speaker 2: It's fully. Did your dad record at night or during
- 12:59Speaker 2: the day?
- 13:00Speaker 1: Well, he used to do at night right now when.
- 13:02Speaker 2: He was young.
- 13:03Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 13:03Speaker 2: Now he's a daytime guy. He can catch the vibe
- 13:05Speaker 2: during the sun because you know, you can't when you're young.
- 13:09Speaker 2: You cannot catch the vibe when the sun is up.
- 13:12Speaker 1: Yeah, do you catch it right?
- 13:14Speaker 2: Exactly?
- 13:14Speaker 1: And he used to go to about at like three am,
- 13:16Speaker 1: no matter what, right, yeah.
- 13:18Speaker 2: And now he's now painting doing things. Does he still
- 13:24Speaker 2: hit the studio?
- 13:25Speaker 1: Yeah, he just he's in the studio this week.
- 13:27Speaker 2: Awesome.
- 13:28Speaker 1: Yeah, I love that.
- 13:30Speaker 2: Does he ever zee me from the does he have
- 13:31Speaker 2: a FaceTime from the studio and ask you, like, what's
- 13:33Speaker 2: going on? Do you like the ship?
- 13:34Speaker 1: He calls?
- 13:35Speaker 2: Nice?
- 13:36Speaker 1: He calls. I mean he calls every day.
- 13:38Speaker 2: It's so wonderful.
- 13:39Speaker 1: Yeah, he calls every day. How's it going? Let me
- 13:42Speaker 1: tell you about that.
- 13:43Speaker 2: I love that.
- 13:44Speaker 1: I don't work and I'll say I forgot this sorry,
- 13:46Speaker 1: this happened. And he's like, oh, I forget all the time.
- 13:49Speaker 2: I love getting he's really pulled up for you.
- 13:53Speaker 1: Yeah, he's been, he's been.
- 13:55Speaker 2: I love that. I love it that he's in the
- 13:57Speaker 2: studio though.
- 13:58Speaker 1: Yeah, he's in the studio for a week.
- 14:01Speaker 2: Did farm Maid already passed? Yeah?
- 14:02Speaker 1: Farm Maid was last week.
- 14:03Speaker 2: Was it successful?
- 14:04Speaker 1: It was successful? Everybody was great.
- 14:07Speaker 2: I mean awesome, that's awesome.
- 14:09Speaker 1: It was good.
- 14:09Speaker 2: That's great. Good for you, John, Good job, Coogs, good
- 14:13Speaker 2: job Coogs. Don't know if I'm allowed to say that,
- 14:15Speaker 2: but yeah, job.
- 14:17Speaker 1: But that. Jen and her daughter Everley they go and
- 14:19Speaker 1: get facials. Jen tells Everley that she wants to stand
- 14:22Speaker 1: next door at the wedding to Ryan, and then every
- 14:26Speaker 1: gets emotional. Let's talk about this a little bit.
- 14:28Speaker 2: I was I understand where Everly's coming from.
- 14:31Speaker 1: I do too.
- 14:32Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 14:33Speaker 1: I think it's something that we often forget, you know,
- 14:38Speaker 1: when a lot of time has passed between a breakup
- 14:41Speaker 1: or a family Yeah, divorce, divorce, that the idea of another,
- 14:48Speaker 1: you know, one of your parents moving on, moving on.
- 14:51Speaker 2: It's very final, very final, and it just resurrects every
- 14:55Speaker 2: memory that you've had with your parents and how hard
- 14:59Speaker 2: that is. Did you have a hard time when your
- 15:01Speaker 2: dad moved on?
- 15:02Speaker 1: I don't.
- 15:03Speaker 2: I never saw your step mom. Did I tell you that?
- 15:05Speaker 2: Oh my god, she is fucking beautiful, right, I mean,
- 15:10Speaker 2: Elaine is stunning. We already know. But like I saw
- 15:13Speaker 2: her at a party. She's a beautiful, beautiful woman.
- 15:16Speaker 1: No, I got the rundown that everyone saw her and
- 15:18Speaker 1: I was like, what, m m, yep, yeah, she looked great,
- 15:23Speaker 1: was she miked?
- 15:24Speaker 2: No, she was just I don't think so. I think
- 15:26Speaker 2: she was just a I didn't. I didn't really like
- 15:30Speaker 2: interact with her. I knew who she was and I
- 15:33Speaker 2: was working, so I wasn't going to walk up and
- 15:35Speaker 2: be like, hey, yeah, da da da da. But I
- 15:39Speaker 2: saw her running around, and I don't think she was
- 15:42Speaker 2: I don't. I don't think so. I don't think so. No,
- 15:46Speaker 2: I don't think so at all. I think she was
- 15:47Speaker 2: just in attendance.
- 15:48Speaker 1: In attendance, I love. I love a Housewives party with
- 15:52Speaker 1: no music. Oh girl, Oh it's so fun.
- 15:55Speaker 2: It was so fucking hard. You know, for those of
- 15:59Speaker 2: you that watched this, which I hope is all of
- 16:01Speaker 2: you that are listening, the just know that when we're
- 16:05Speaker 2: trying to have a good time. We're not allowed to
- 16:07Speaker 2: play the music we want, so we're like dancing around
- 16:11Speaker 2: a very stripped down beats that are terrible. Listen, let
- 16:18Speaker 2: us have something we can feel good too. And I'm
- 16:21Speaker 2: not offbeat, but yeah I am. No, you're not give
- 16:26Speaker 2: yourself a little I've heard you. You have a beautiful voice.
- 16:29Speaker 2: You're also hiding in the shadows like Alexia was till
- 16:34Speaker 2: she busted out. Valerie.
- 16:36Speaker 1: Oh, I still can't believe it, Alexei and Jennie.
- 16:41Speaker 2: Jen don't stop believing a heart that note is she
- 16:45Speaker 2: was holding.
- 16:46Speaker 1: She had it, she had it, she had it going.
- 16:50Speaker 1: But then we're back to where the episode started, and
- 16:52Speaker 1: Gretchen has invited the girls to a self defense class
- 16:55Speaker 1: because she has dealt with the scary situation with a stalker.
- 16:59Speaker 2: Then why would you do this to make everybody else
- 17:01Speaker 2: more nervous?
- 17:02Speaker 1: Also, why would you wear that Laura Croft?
- 17:05Speaker 2: Yes, tomb Raider.
- 17:09Speaker 1: What And I hate to say it, Yeah, it looks
- 17:13Speaker 1: like me. I was going to say, like the long
- 17:17Speaker 1: hair with that braid, it's been done, yeah, and it's
- 17:21Speaker 1: been done in the right timing.
- 17:23Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 17:24Speaker 1: And the lower.
- 17:25Speaker 2: Craft yeah, the lower craft Onesie, I mean your unitard.
- 17:29Speaker 2: I mean, it's just it's cool. But we're there to
- 17:32Speaker 2: are we there to play a character?
- 17:33Speaker 1: What?
- 17:33Speaker 2: Look? I dress as characters as well, but not one
- 17:36Speaker 2: is something serious like this?
- 17:38Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't think.
- 17:39Speaker 2: Maybe just ends up that way. I don't know. I'm
- 17:41Speaker 2: just here to try.
- 17:42Speaker 1: If you're going to a self defense class or if
- 17:43Speaker 1: you're going to do something active, you're not going to
- 17:46Speaker 1: come well.
- 17:47Speaker 2: Not that I may come cute, but not with that
- 17:49Speaker 2: much hair. That's heavy.
- 17:51Speaker 1: That's heavy, heavy hair. Oh. Even Emily was like, did
- 17:55Speaker 1: you prep your hairstylist that you're going to ask for
- 17:57Speaker 1: this today?
- 17:58Speaker 2: Exactly? Emily called out on it. And it's true, like
- 18:01Speaker 2: you want to look pulled together, but I remember when
- 18:04Speaker 2: we were doing like flying yoga or we do something
- 18:06Speaker 2: like that. I try to get my hair out of
- 18:07Speaker 2: my face. Yeah, and try to make it as like interesting,
- 18:11Speaker 2: but also you want to do your activity as much
- 18:13Speaker 2: as possible. Yeah, that was And look, I'm guilty of
- 18:17Speaker 2: we're all guilty of wearing heels at a wedding that
- 18:20Speaker 2: no one told us to where heels at?
- 18:22Speaker 1: Yeah, that's true, very true. But I don't enjoy these
- 18:26Speaker 1: kind of pranks.
- 18:27Speaker 2: I don't enjoy pranks at all ever in life, and
- 18:29Speaker 2: I certainly don't enjoy having men come up to the
- 18:32Speaker 2: suv and talk like that, Like the answer is no,
- 18:37Speaker 2: don't do that.
- 18:38Speaker 1: How do you think Shannon knew so quickly? I don't know,
- 18:42Speaker 1: because production was there and she was like, there's no
- 18:44Speaker 1: way production will let this happen.
- 18:46Speaker 2: Well, that's number one, but number two is just I
- 18:51Speaker 2: don't know. Some people are more calm in situations than others.
- 18:55Speaker 1: Yeah, so who knows. But they split into groups, with
- 19:00Speaker 1: Shannon telling Gretchen, Heather, and Gina that. In Temecula, while
- 19:03Speaker 1: talking about her tumultuous upbringing, Taram returns to her and says, well,
- 19:08Speaker 1: you know your dad's an alcoholic. Gina steps in saying,
- 19:12Speaker 1: Tama didn't say it like that. She said, did your
- 19:14Speaker 1: dad have a problem with drinking?
- 19:16Speaker 2: Which is the truth.
- 19:17Speaker 1: Did your dad have a problem with drinking?
- 19:19Speaker 2: Yeah, here's the thing. It's like I said to you
- 19:21Speaker 2: last time. You know, it gets sensitive when you talk
- 19:24Speaker 2: about people's parents and things like that, Like it's almost
- 19:27Speaker 2: like you can say anything you want about me, but
- 19:29Speaker 2: don't say anything about the family. I know, that's so weird.
- 19:32Speaker 2: I don't know what that is. I wonder in human
- 19:34Speaker 2: language terms, I mean human being terms, like what that is.
- 19:37Speaker 2: It's like you can say anything you want about me,
- 19:40Speaker 2: but hold off on my dad or my sister or
- 19:42Speaker 2: my mom or something like that.
- 19:44Speaker 1: But I think when it comes to Tamra and.
- 19:47Speaker 2: I just don't think that they can. It's it's anything
- 19:49Speaker 2: point now at this point, if you said, hello, there
- 19:52Speaker 2: was something, there's going to be a problem. The sun
- 19:54Speaker 2: is shiny. Yeah, what did you mean by that?
- 19:56Speaker 1: The tone you used the son exactly was a problem.
- 19:58Speaker 2: Yes, I didn't like that and reminded me of when
- 20:02Speaker 2: the two of you need to time out on that
- 20:04Speaker 2: ship because we uh, while I'm speaking for me, it's
- 20:09Speaker 2: getting tiring.
- 20:10Speaker 1: Yeah. And because then in the confessional Gina defense taram
- 20:13Speaker 1: Or saying Shannon was creating a mountain out of a molehill.
- 20:17Speaker 1: Do you think Shannon intentionally misrepresented the story or you
- 20:21Speaker 1: think I don't.
- 20:22Speaker 2: I don't know, because yeah, I'm going to tell you
- 20:24Speaker 2: something again, Like I just said, it's not what you say,
- 20:28Speaker 2: it's how you say it. And if you are not
- 20:31Speaker 2: in a good place with someone, and if you or
- 20:33Speaker 2: let's say, you're just looking for the worst, you're gonna
- 20:36Speaker 2: fucking find it. Yeah, so just how about you say
- 20:40Speaker 2: nothing that could possibly be interpreted any weird way. Just
- 20:45Speaker 2: remain neutral if this, Yeah, just remain neutral if you
- 20:49Speaker 2: want peace. If you don't give your opinion.
- 20:52Speaker 1: Or you know you've said that, I'm really sorry or
- 20:55Speaker 1: write hey, you know that sounds tough.
- 20:59Speaker 2: That's it. Yeah, just wow, I didn't know. I knew,
- 21:03Speaker 2: I knew you'd said something like that, but I didn't
- 21:05Speaker 2: know it was that bad or something not well, ye know,
- 21:12Speaker 2: as they're all having drinks, but whatever.
- 21:15Speaker 1: There we go, Here we go. Then Tamar, Emily, and
- 21:31Speaker 1: Jen are going to fire guns at targets. Emily explains
- 21:36Speaker 1: that Gretchen told her and Heather about Tamar's attempt at
- 21:39Speaker 1: singing with Black Pep right and after that recording the song,
- 21:43Speaker 1: they had sex.
- 21:45Speaker 2: Well, okay, and then Emily thinks it's hypocritical of Gretchen
- 21:49Speaker 2: to reveal this information after saying Tamar hurt her by
- 21:53Speaker 2: exposing her affair.
- 21:56Speaker 1: I'm how bold of this of Emily to give Tamar
- 21:59Speaker 1: this information while they're holding guns.
- 22:02Speaker 2: Well, they're not real guns, but either way, I don't
- 22:05Speaker 2: want any of you holding guns when you're around me
- 22:07Speaker 2: because they were like flagging each other and all kinds
- 22:09Speaker 2: of other stuff. You instructors, where were you? But yeah,
- 22:14Speaker 2: you know, And after Tamra wins best shot. Good by
- 22:17Speaker 2: the way, I have to say this, Tamora, I love
- 22:19Speaker 2: your pickup truck. What is it? Is it an F
- 22:21Speaker 2: one fifteen? I forget whatever it is, it's cool.
- 22:24Speaker 1: Yeah, I want to.
- 22:24Speaker 2: Pick up truck.
- 22:25Speaker 1: I think it's Adie's truck.
- 22:27Speaker 2: Whatever. Yeah, I want I want somebody's pick up truck.
- 22:31Speaker 2: I want to pick up truck. I have a portion,
- 22:33Speaker 2: but I want to pick up truck. I want both,
- 22:36Speaker 2: just because I want a truck. Do you have truck?
- 22:37Speaker 2: I used to have a truck.
- 22:38Speaker 1: I used to have a truck. Now I have no
- 22:41Speaker 1: I know what you have?
- 22:41Speaker 2: Yeah you know mom car a mom mobile.
- 22:44Speaker 1: Mom mobile that I'm not allowed to drive.
- 22:45Speaker 2: But no, no, no, yeah not right now? Who this
- 22:50Speaker 2: is what I don't understand and don't take don't take
- 22:53Speaker 2: this the wrong way. But you weren't that great of
- 22:55Speaker 2: a driver before you got sick, you know what I mean? Like,
- 22:58Speaker 2: let's be honest here and then you're out. They're driving
- 23:00Speaker 2: around after like I was really like, what the fuck
- 23:02Speaker 2: are you doing? I know, they you got real bold
- 23:05Speaker 2: after all of that, you know, the surgery and stuff.
- 23:08Speaker 1: Well, I wasn't ever driving after the surgery, but before
- 23:11Speaker 1: the surgery, when I didn't know. I haven't driven once.
- 23:14Speaker 2: I no, I know, but I'm just before. I know
- 23:17Speaker 2: you were out here driving around.
- 23:18Speaker 1: I was out here being all kinds of when I
- 23:21Speaker 1: was all tumored.
- 23:22Speaker 2: Up, I know, and we didn't even know. Well, you
- 23:25Speaker 2: didn't know you were out here driving with the tumors,
- 23:27Speaker 2: tumor driving, but you were driving around town and you
- 23:31Speaker 2: didn't drive. Maybe, oh god, I'm not even to say that.
- 23:35Speaker 2: What Maybe it took the tumors to get you.
- 23:37Speaker 1: To drive, right, I know now that they're gone. Now
- 23:40Speaker 1: you're back to normal. I'm getting back not driving, no driving.
- 23:46Speaker 1: Maybe that's it.
- 23:47Speaker 2: That's I've cracked the code no driving. I was shocked
- 23:50Speaker 2: that you were driving now before before Yeah, yeah, I
- 23:54Speaker 2: know me too. As the women said to eat, Gretchen
- 23:57Speaker 2: drinks her fireball and Tamra calls her out for talk
- 24:00Speaker 2: and ship. Now, if I were Gretchen, I would have
- 24:02Speaker 2: taken her sho out of Fireball too, probably a double
- 24:05Speaker 2: because you know what's coming. And then when she goes
- 24:09Speaker 2: Emily went and tell it's Emily's job to go and
- 24:11Speaker 2: tell you know your experience. You know it's going to
- 24:13Speaker 2: get around. That's why she had the fireball ready.
- 24:16Speaker 1: What about how Tamra switched seats.
- 24:18Speaker 2: Oh, I loved it.
- 24:19Speaker 1: I loved it.
- 24:21Speaker 2: Let me tell you something.
- 24:21Speaker 1: She She's like, I can't see over Emily's head.
- 24:25Speaker 2: It was It's the best thing I thought in that episode.
- 24:29Speaker 2: I was like, yeah, oh took the fight right to her.
- 24:32Speaker 1: She was like, hold on.
- 24:36Speaker 2: I loved love. Gretchen blamed Slade for the affair rumor.
- 24:43Speaker 1: No, both of you sorry, since this is what they've
- 24:46Speaker 1: been doing for twelve years.
- 24:47Speaker 2: Seems like it feels like it, but I think that
- 24:49Speaker 2: there's some back and forth and ship like that. We
- 24:52Speaker 2: get the flashback where Gretchen indeed says that Tamera banged
- 24:55Speaker 2: banged the guy and that Tamera was still married. So
- 24:59Speaker 2: it's just like a technicals like I'm married and I'm
- 25:03Speaker 2: fucking So this is like a technical thing, like you know,
- 25:06Speaker 2: I'm trying to get a divorce. It's been a long processed.
- 25:09Speaker 2: Gretchen has indeed said that Tama banged the guy and
- 25:12Speaker 2: Tarma was still married. Like living in the house married
- 25:16Speaker 2: as alleged happy couple broken up, split up on the
- 25:20Speaker 2: way out. I need context here. I'm still married, and
- 25:24Speaker 2: I mean so.
- 25:26Speaker 1: I mean it's on paper, I'm still married, and I've.
- 25:29Speaker 2: Exactly there we go. See, So we need context, we
- 25:33Speaker 2: need to know, we need to know what does this
- 25:35Speaker 2: mean like?
- 25:36Speaker 1: But I don't believe they banged.
- 25:39Speaker 2: Who cares if they fucking did. Yeah, I don't care
- 25:42Speaker 2: if they did.
- 25:43Speaker 1: I don't actually even care that she recorded a song
- 25:46Speaker 1: that didn't sound good that she decided not to ever,
- 25:49Speaker 1: it's not.
- 25:50Speaker 2: Her thing she was doing it. Who cares? We all
- 25:52Speaker 2: do things that you know, quote aren't good. What difference
- 25:55Speaker 2: does it fucking make? It's her life.
- 25:56Speaker 1: But I think it shows that Gretchen and Slade are
- 26:00Speaker 1: cest because I think in this situation, Tamar hasn't been
- 26:06Speaker 1: talking about Gretchen, and Gretchen's name didn't come up when
- 26:09Speaker 1: they were in Temecula.
- 26:10Speaker 2: I don't think, I don't think. So imagine how great
- 26:13Speaker 2: it would be if Gretchen and Slade let all the
- 26:16Speaker 2: Tamar shit die and you forced Tamar to be nice?
- 26:20Speaker 1: Yeah, because right now, because right.
- 26:24Speaker 2: Now you're just back and forth. But what if Gretchen
- 26:26Speaker 2: and Slade were calm and nice people. They get reintroduced
- 26:29Speaker 2: into the group, they don't do all of this old
- 26:32Speaker 2: beef shit. And then Tamar doesn't have anything to get
- 26:35Speaker 2: in her face about. Yeah, or if she does, she
- 26:37Speaker 2: looks bad. Why don't you play it like that?
- 26:40Speaker 1: Well, because this was Tammar's best episode kind of was,
- 26:43Speaker 1: I mean it was her best episode, Yeah, it kind
- 26:46Speaker 1: of was. Because then uh, Jen tells Gretchen that she
- 26:52Speaker 1: thought she's said as much about Tamar as Tamar has
- 26:55Speaker 1: said about her. Now, Jen, you're being honest here. But
- 26:59Speaker 1: in your professionals you said that Gretchen never talks about Tamra,
- 27:03Speaker 1: but here you do. Yeah, so which one is? Jen?
- 27:07Speaker 1: Here we go again? This is our issue? Yeah, we
- 27:10Speaker 1: were always flip flopping around.
- 27:11Speaker 2: Here's the thing I don't like. Gretchen says she's kipped
- 27:15Speaker 2: her mouth shut forever. Tamra questions this, and Gretchen says
- 27:19Speaker 2: about all the shit I know about you? Yeah, and
- 27:24Speaker 2: Tamorra is Ron's what do you know about me? Bitch?
- 27:26Speaker 2: And Gretchen says Tama doesn't want her to talk because
- 27:28Speaker 2: it will get ugly. Tamra flips Gretchen off and storms out. Okay,
- 27:32Speaker 2: so let me explain it to you. Please do not
- 27:36Speaker 2: ever try to shame another woman or threaten another woman
- 27:40Speaker 2: like this. This is bad. What I know about you?
- 27:43Speaker 2: What are you saying?
- 27:44Speaker 1: Say it? Then?
- 27:45Speaker 2: Yeah? What is this some sort of set? What the
- 27:47Speaker 2: fuck are you holding?
- 27:48Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 27:49Speaker 2: If you've got something, don't do this, because now I
- 27:51Speaker 2: want to I don't do well in this situation, Like
- 27:54Speaker 2: I'm like, what the fuck are you talking about?
- 27:56Speaker 1: Then you've got all this shit but you.
- 27:58Speaker 2: But don't threaten me?
- 28:00Speaker 1: So what you're just leaking the baby shit now?
- 28:03Speaker 2: So if this is based on shame and embarrassment, you
- 28:06Speaker 2: don't want to know fucking say it?
- 28:08Speaker 1: Yeah, say what do you say it? Do you think
- 28:12Speaker 1: this means more than this?
- 28:15Speaker 2: I think what Tamar did was real close to I
- 28:18Speaker 2: want to fuck you up. I want to put my
- 28:20Speaker 2: hands on you if I could, but I cannot.
- 28:24Speaker 1: But then, what are your thoughts on when she did
- 28:27Speaker 1: do this? What Gretchen did back?
- 28:29Speaker 2: Oh, I held her at Risks? Yeah, forget it. I
- 28:33Speaker 2: would have that. I'm not that girl because I'm not.
- 28:37Speaker 2: I'm not going to be that girl to get in
- 28:38Speaker 2: your face like that. It's not my vibe. But I
- 28:42Speaker 2: let's just say I did, and then someone grabbed my wrists.
- 28:46Speaker 2: That's full on like it's after Yeah, but Gretchen shouldn't
- 28:49Speaker 2: have gotten it. I mean, excuse me. Tamra shouldn't have
- 28:51Speaker 2: gotten in her face. Number one, that's problem right there.
- 28:54Speaker 2: Number two, when Gretchen grabs her, that's a problem. You can't.
- 29:00Speaker 2: That is a total escalation. You're escalating and escalating the
- 29:04Speaker 2: situation until somebody's gonna put their hands on somebody. I
- 29:08Speaker 2: so wish it would have happened. Come on, Laura Croft,
- 29:13Speaker 2: let's see what you got with that ponytail. You can
- 29:15Speaker 2: you imagine terror pulled that ponytail out?
- 29:17Speaker 1: Oh, just piece by piece.
- 29:20Speaker 2: But I would have been mad too, And don't touch me,
- 29:25Speaker 2: I don't, don't. The thing is, this is clearly not
- 29:29Speaker 2: a hey, it's okay kind of moment. This is an
- 29:31Speaker 2: aggressive like thing. Don't. Ever, you shouldn't be in her face,
- 29:35Speaker 2: flipping her off. You shouldn't be holding her wrists, screaming
- 29:39Speaker 2: and yelling at each other. While I don't think it's great,
- 29:42Speaker 2: I think it's not great behavior to me. To me,
- 29:46Speaker 2: it's different than putting your hands holding somebody like. That's
- 29:49Speaker 2: where we start to escalate things beyond control, but.
- 29:52Speaker 1: Also the fact that we're talking about these things that
- 29:56Speaker 1: happened so long ago.
- 29:58Speaker 2: But yeah, as an audience member, I'm tired.
- 30:02Speaker 1: I'm tired. It's making me annoyed.
- 30:05Speaker 2: I'm tired.
- 30:06Speaker 1: I'm tired of it. I don't want to see it
- 30:08Speaker 1: from that long ago. I want to get more invested
- 30:11Speaker 1: in the other situations and not just here, Like I
- 30:15Speaker 1: feel like they've been dangling Gretchen doing this for a
- 30:18Speaker 1: long time.
- 30:20Speaker 2: Well then do it. You had the full opportunity to
- 30:22Speaker 2: say you know what I know about you and then
- 30:24Speaker 2: vomit it all out.
- 30:25Speaker 1: But you know and said, she keeps just worming behind
- 30:29Speaker 1: Slade and trying to say Slade does it?
- 30:31Speaker 2: Well did? I would like to know if Slade's mad
- 30:34Speaker 2: that Gretchen blamed him, Like, that's really what I want
- 30:37Speaker 2: to know, Slade. Can you contact us? I bet you would.
- 30:40Speaker 1: I bet you would.
- 30:42Speaker 2: Let us know how you feel about that. Did you
- 30:45Speaker 2: feel Slade when Gretchen dumped it back on you?
- 30:50Speaker 1: Lllc Van Eyes l Elcie van Eys.
- 30:56Speaker 2: But I would like to know how Slade felt about that,
- 30:58Speaker 2: because it wasn't just him.
- 31:00Speaker 1: I mean, he got a phone call from his tipsy
- 31:02Speaker 1: life partner sharing the story.
- 31:05Speaker 2: I mean he contributed too, yeah, yeah, like and but
- 31:09Speaker 2: now for her to have a shout of fireball and
- 31:11Speaker 2: say it was all.
- 31:11Speaker 1: Him, Come on, no, it wasn't.
- 31:14Speaker 2: It wasn't.
- 31:14Speaker 1: It was you too, and it started with you.
- 31:17Speaker 2: And why are what happened fifteen? I don't even know
- 31:20Speaker 2: where was I fifteen years ago? Oh? It was peaceful? Yeah,
- 31:26Speaker 2: I mean, like, who gives a fuck? I can't, I can't.
- 31:30Speaker 2: I don't want another episode like this, just saying like
- 31:34Speaker 2: we had fun up until this. I'm worn out with this.
- 31:37Speaker 1: Yeah, and now, but I think it's gonna really blow
- 31:40Speaker 1: up from this.
- 31:41Speaker 2: You know stuff.
- 31:42Speaker 1: I mean I don't know that much stuff because my
- 31:44Speaker 1: memory is shit.
- 31:45Speaker 2: I love that, but you've been told and you forgot.
- 31:48Speaker 2: You didn't even tell me. That is what everybody thinks.
- 31:50Speaker 2: They think that you tell me. I don't fucking know.
- 31:53Speaker 1: I can't remember long enough.
