- 0:01Speaker 1: Hi, It's Amy with Interitive Coaching with Amy Radio. This
- 0:06Speaker 1: is a show for metaphysical people. So let's talk manifesting
- 0:12Speaker 1: and achieving your goals and desires for twenty twenty five.
- 0:17Speaker 1: At the recording of this show, you're at the end
- 0:19Speaker 1: of February, and so I thought, let's check in. Where
- 0:23Speaker 1: are you at on your journey? How do you feel
- 0:27Speaker 1: about your goals? How do you feel about your desires
- 0:30Speaker 1: for this year? So one of my number one teachings
- 0:37Speaker 1: when it comes to anything related to receiving what you
- 0:41Speaker 1: want is to write it down. It is by far
- 0:47Speaker 1: the best way to move towards your desired result, and
- 0:51Speaker 1: studies show that writing your goals down increases your success.
- 0:56Speaker 1: And so I want to encourage you. It's February. Come on, friend,
- 1:02Speaker 1: where are you at on your goals and your desires?
- 1:05Speaker 1: And do you have them written down? And typically I
- 1:10Speaker 1: would say to you, write it down, and some people
- 1:16Speaker 1: want to post it and some people want to put
- 1:19Speaker 1: it in a drawer. But I'm finding, after all these
- 1:22Speaker 1: years of doing this work fifteen years, that my folks
- 1:27Speaker 1: that set it and forget it usually choose goals that
- 1:32Speaker 1: I call close to chess goals. Meaning, yeah, it maybe
- 1:37Speaker 1: a teeny bit of a stretch, but they're pretty sure
- 1:40Speaker 1: that they're going to achieve the goal. And now those
- 1:43Speaker 1: same people are coming back to me and they're ready
- 1:46Speaker 1: to go bigger. They've experienced the milk and honey of
- 1:52Speaker 1: achieving their goals, and now they want to go for
- 1:56Speaker 1: the really, really big goal. And they're uncomfortable by it
- 2:00Speaker 1: because they don't have a system within them for larger goals.
- 2:05Speaker 1: And so I would say, let's not set it and
- 2:08Speaker 1: forget it. I think you should write your goals down
- 2:12Speaker 1: and put it in a place where you can see
- 2:13Speaker 1: it every single day, and choose somewhere that is private
- 2:20Speaker 1: for you, because I don't think you need to be
- 2:24Speaker 1: broadcasting your goals to everybody. And write them out, write
- 2:30Speaker 1: them out by hand, use positive language, write them in
- 2:35Speaker 1: present tensed, use very specific language. And the first word
- 2:43Speaker 1: of your goal sentence should make it crystal clear what
- 2:47Speaker 1: you want to manifest. So it could be move into
- 2:51Speaker 1: an apartment, release x number of pounds, earn this amount
- 2:56Speaker 1: of money, meet my soulmate, make it crystal clear what
- 3:02Speaker 1: your intention is. Your goal should be as specific and
- 3:08Speaker 1: clear as a grocery list. So take the time and
- 3:13Speaker 1: write down what you want, and you can make it
- 3:15Speaker 1: pretty if you want, Like I did mine in purple
- 3:18Speaker 1: marker and instead of like bullet points or numbering, I
- 3:22Speaker 1: did hearts, and it's up. I look at it every
- 3:26Speaker 1: single day. I did it on the back of my
- 3:28Speaker 1: door to my bedroom, so I can just I see it,
- 3:34Speaker 1: and it will keep you moving forward if you set
- 3:39Speaker 1: it forget it, or type it and put it in
- 3:42Speaker 1: a document and file it away. Yeah yeah, maybe, but
- 3:49Speaker 1: put it right in front of you. If you are
- 3:52Speaker 1: ready to go to your next level, if you have
- 3:55Speaker 1: larger goals that you want to accomplish this year, put
- 3:58Speaker 1: them where you can see them. Because what's going to
- 4:01Speaker 1: happen is something in you will shift where you're just
- 4:06Speaker 1: not going to be okay with not achieving the goal.
- 4:10Speaker 1: You're not going to feel like it's okay to not
- 4:17Speaker 1: pay attention to the goal, right because we get go
- 4:21Speaker 1: on with life and we can come up with a
- 4:23Speaker 1: lot of excuses. I know, you know, I'm in Los
- 4:28Speaker 1: Angeles and I was about two and a half miles
- 4:31Speaker 1: from the evacuation line for the Eden Canyon fire. And
- 4:36Speaker 1: what got me through January was I put those goals
- 4:38Speaker 1: up I could have easily been like, oh, there's so
- 4:42Speaker 1: much going on in my world right now, and I'm
- 4:47Speaker 1: a highly sensitive person, so I'm feeling all the energy
- 4:49Speaker 1: of the people who've lost homes, just the disaster that
- 4:56Speaker 1: was posts, the winds that triggered the fire. Like I
- 5:00Speaker 1: could have moved throughout January with a lot of excuses,
- 5:05Speaker 1: but I winded up having an amazing January because I
- 5:08Speaker 1: know it's those goals. I see them every single day.
- 5:13Speaker 1: If you asked me last year, what I did was
- 5:16Speaker 1: I brought a pretty journal and I wrote out all
- 5:19Speaker 1: my goals and then I put it away and I
- 5:26Speaker 1: made some progress, but I don't think fully achieved any
- 5:29Speaker 1: of the goals on that list. But this time, I'm like,
- 5:33Speaker 1: it's non negotiable. I am hidden these goals this year
- 5:37Speaker 1: and they are up. And what I'm finding is I
- 5:41Speaker 1: don't feel I don't feel bad when I look at them.
- 5:45Speaker 1: I don't feel like, oh, no, I should be doing more.
- 5:50Speaker 1: Because I think that's why people don't post their goals
- 5:52Speaker 1: and look at their goals regularly or write their goals down,
- 5:56Speaker 1: is because they feel shame or embarrassment that they're not
- 6:01Speaker 1: actively working their goals. If you put them up, you're
- 6:04Speaker 1: going to actively work them, just by osmosis. It's very
- 6:09Speaker 1: similar to Barbara Stanny, which I actually think she goes
- 6:13Speaker 1: she's another last name. She remarried, but she wrote, oh gosh,
- 6:19Speaker 1: what's the book she wrote, Barbara Stanny. Anyway, as I'm
- 6:24Speaker 1: looking up the name of the book she talked about
- 6:27Speaker 1: as she was trying to teach herself about investing, she
- 6:33Speaker 1: would just open the Wall Street Journal and leave it
- 6:36Speaker 1: out on the table. And she was like her eyes
- 6:40Speaker 1: would glaze over anytime she tried to read an article.
- 6:43Speaker 1: But she did want to learn, and so she said,
- 6:46Speaker 1: just putting it out on the kitchen table. Before she
- 6:50Speaker 1: knew it, she had a greater understanding of investing. I
- 6:54Speaker 1: think the same applies to posting your goals where you
- 6:58Speaker 1: can see them every day. Way, somehow you are going
- 7:02Speaker 1: to figure out how to make that goal a reality.
- 7:07Speaker 1: So write it down. And my recommendations for writing your
- 7:12Speaker 1: goals down is to do a rough draft, then do
- 7:17Speaker 1: another rough draft until you are so clear that you
- 7:22Speaker 1: can you could touch it. You're so clear about what
- 7:26Speaker 1: the goal is. Okay, So Barbara's stannybooks over Coming under Earning,
- 7:32Speaker 1: that's probably where I read that story, but I think
- 7:34Speaker 1: she retells it a bunch. The Secrets of Six Figure
- 7:39Speaker 1: Women good Reads. I last year I read and I
- 7:44Speaker 1: think I mentioned it here on the program. I read
- 7:48Speaker 1: What did she write recently? It was about rewiring. So
- 7:53Speaker 1: she goes by Barbara Hudson now h U S O
- 7:57Speaker 1: N and Red Fired for Wealth, I believe is the
- 8:03Speaker 1: most recent book that she wrote. I read that last year. Good.
- 8:08Speaker 1: It's good. She's got a style. I think it's all
- 8:12Speaker 1: valuable information. I never say no to a financial book. Yeah,
- 8:20Speaker 1: so let's go back to my show notes. So you're
- 8:26Speaker 1: going to do rough draft your goals, and you're going
- 8:29Speaker 1: to imagine as you're writing them out over and over again,
- 8:32Speaker 1: that it's already yours. And you want to make that
- 8:36Speaker 1: imagining so vivid in your mind that receiving your goal
- 8:41Speaker 1: suddenly becomes as easy as ordering your favorite meal in
- 8:46Speaker 1: your favorite restaurant, knowing that you will receive exactly what
- 8:50Speaker 1: you ask for. So you want to make vivid, vivid
- 8:56Speaker 1: pictures in your mind as you write out your goals.
- 9:03Speaker 1: So one more time, you want these goals to be clean.
- 9:05Speaker 1: You want them to be You could look at it
- 9:07Speaker 1: and be like, oh, I know exactly what I'm doing.
- 9:12Speaker 1: You have to know what you want to draw to yourself,
- 9:15Speaker 1: you have to know what you want to receive. And
- 9:18Speaker 1: I'm making this so clear because, believe it or not,
- 9:24Speaker 1: as an intuitive coach, the number one conversation I have
- 9:29Speaker 1: with clients is what do you want? You know, I've
- 9:35Speaker 1: always been before I called it manifesting, I always wrote
- 9:40Speaker 1: down what I wanted. You know, I want a clear skin.
- 9:45Speaker 1: I wrote that down in my teens in college, and
- 9:49Speaker 1: so it's always amazing to me when people are like, oh, Amy,
- 9:53Speaker 1: I don't really know what I want. And I think
- 9:55Speaker 1: it is that you do know what you want, but
- 9:58Speaker 1: you've told yourself a story for so long that oh,
- 10:02Speaker 1: there's no way that can happen. Or you bought into
- 10:05Speaker 1: a societal story. Oh there's no way that that can happen.
- 10:09Speaker 1: And so one of the ways you start to break
- 10:11Speaker 1: up that limitation is you get really, really comfortable with
- 10:15Speaker 1: your desire. I actually just read a book and she
- 10:21Speaker 1: talked about falling in love with your desire. Love your desire,
- 10:25Speaker 1: bring your desire into your heart, and one of the
- 10:27Speaker 1: ways you can do that is by writing it down.
- 10:31Speaker 1: So writing your goals and desires down without trying to
- 10:35Speaker 1: contemplate how and when it's going to happen. I e.
- 10:38Speaker 1: A plan. It gives spirit a lot of room to
- 10:42Speaker 1: support you in the fulfillment of that desire. Writing also
- 10:47Speaker 1: invokes an energy of openness and possibility, and both of
- 10:52Speaker 1: those energies are required to get your manifestation off the ground.
- 10:57Speaker 1: So I you know, if if you go back to
- 11:01Speaker 1: the research, the people who are most likely to achieve
- 11:06Speaker 1: their goals, according to the research are people who write
- 11:09Speaker 1: their goals down and then they have some sort of plan.
- 11:13Speaker 1: So here's the way I want you to approach this.
- 11:15Speaker 1: Because if you're a type A, which there's probably a
- 11:19Speaker 1: lot of you out there listening to this program, we
- 11:22Speaker 1: have a tendency to overplan and not ask, meaning we
- 11:27Speaker 1: don't get clear about our desire. We just start coming
- 11:29Speaker 1: up with a plan. And that's just not how it works.
- 11:32Speaker 1: It's the opposite of that. Come up with the desire,
- 11:35Speaker 1: fall in love with the desire, be so clear about
- 11:39Speaker 1: that desire, and then and then just think of one
- 11:45Speaker 1: to two immediate action steps you can take and from there,
- 11:50Speaker 1: as you move through that, you will be inspired. You
- 11:53Speaker 1: will receive additional guidance from spirit as to what you
- 11:57Speaker 1: can do to achieve that result. Yeah, so give up
- 12:03Speaker 1: the planning and focus on desire. Give up the planning
- 12:08Speaker 1: and focus on desire. Your planning, while it seems intellectually wise,
- 12:15Speaker 1: it is not spiritually helpful. You are getting in the
- 12:18Speaker 1: way with your planning. Spirit just wants you to have
- 12:21Speaker 1: enough faith to ask for what you want. So you
- 12:31Speaker 1: might want to set a reminder in your phone and
- 12:35Speaker 1: tell yourself, I'm going to go read my goals. I'm
- 12:37Speaker 1: going to go read my goals and make it your mission.
- 12:43Speaker 1: Make it your mission to write your goals down and
- 12:45Speaker 1: put them where you can see them. And I promise
- 12:47Speaker 1: you just increase your likelihood of achieving your desired result tenfold, fiftyfold.
- 12:57Speaker 1: All right, that's Michelle, pay it to you all the time.
- 13:01Speaker 1: Write it down, write it down, write it down, write
- 13:02Speaker 1: it down. And it was just on my heart to
- 13:06Speaker 1: do another show to say, hey, write it down. And
- 13:10Speaker 1: also it's because I've been noticing this consistent storyline with clients,
- 13:18Speaker 1: my clients again, the ones that set close to chess goals,
- 13:22Speaker 1: set it and forget it. Now they're aching for their
- 13:25Speaker 1: big goal. They're aching for their big goal. They want
- 13:29Speaker 1: to do the big thing, and they are scared because
- 13:33Speaker 1: they haven't gotten comfortable with really really trusting themselves and
- 13:39Speaker 1: going for it. And so that's okay. You know, this
- 13:43Speaker 1: is all a journey. So I'm going to just say
- 13:45Speaker 1: straight out, write the goal down. Write the goal down,
- 13:49Speaker 1: Write the goal down, Write the goal down, because that
- 13:52Speaker 1: is the foundation for your manifestation. You can play with
- 13:56Speaker 1: all the tricks of manifestation. There's so many out there
- 14:00Speaker 1: and I look forward to sharing a lot of them
- 14:01Speaker 1: with you in twenty twenty five. There are so many
- 14:06Speaker 1: practices and they all start with what do you want? Okay,
- 14:12Speaker 1: so now I'm done. If you are looking for an
- 14:14Speaker 1: intuitive coach, you can schedule a one on one session
