  I think we need to approach mentorship with caution.

  I know I've been in situations where I decided somebody wanted a mentor, and began mentoring them.

  Only to be frustrated because of their lack of action, or the low volume of action.

  And, I found out that in some cases, they were not seeking mentorship.

  It was me seeking a mentee.

  And so the question to you is, how do you keep from imposing what you want onto the innocent bystander in front of you?
