- 0:02Speaker 1: Due to the graphic nature of this program, listener discretion
- 0:07Speaker 1: is advised.
- 0:18Speaker 2: The Woody Show. This is The Woody Show. Insensitivity training.
- 0:28Speaker 2: For a politically correct world. Class is now in session.
- 0:45Speaker 2: Good morning, everybody. Good morning. It is Wednesday.
- 0:50Speaker 3: It's October the 21st, 2026, the year of our Lord
- 0:55Speaker 3: and Menace's birthday month.
- 0:56Speaker 4: Yes.
- 0:56Speaker 2: Celebrate. All of those things. Celebrate it.
- 1:00Speaker 3: He's got, it's what, one week from today.
- 1:02Speaker 2: Oh, yeah. Wow.
- 1:03Speaker 3: It's his actual birthday, you guys.
- 1:05Speaker 1: Damn.
- 1:06Speaker 2: But that continues, though, right? Yeah, it's the whole month.
- 1:09Speaker 5: Yeah, the entire month. Sometimes you're always like... not willing
- 1:12Speaker 5: to extend it past your birthday.
- 1:14Speaker 6: Me?
- 1:14Speaker 2: What are you talking about?
- 1:15Speaker 5: No, he always is.
- 1:16Speaker 2: No, I always thought he was like, no, now we're
- 1:18Speaker 2: going to focus on Woody.
- 1:19Speaker 4: Nope.
- 1:20Speaker 2: Halloween.
- 1:20Speaker 7: Woody says he doesn't want to focus, so I just continue.
- 1:24Speaker 2: I just bulldoze right over that.
- 1:26Speaker 3: He can have mine.
- 1:27Speaker 2: Until the end of the month. Yeah. Anyway, my name's Woody.
- 1:29Speaker 2: That's Greg Gorey. Hi, Woody. We got Menace. What's up?
- 1:31Speaker 2: Gina Grant is here. Hello. Seabass. We got Sammy. Hey.
- 1:34Speaker 2: Jeff G.
- 1:35Speaker 7: Hello.
- 1:35Speaker 2: He is here.
- 1:35Speaker 3: We got Morgan, our associate producer. Vaughn, our video producer.
- 1:38Speaker 3: Bart is here. Menji is here. Phones are open, 877-44-WOODY.
- 1:43Speaker 3: You can send us a text over to 22987. We'll
- 1:49Speaker 3: get to the birthdays and the porno birthday here in
- 1:51Speaker 3: just a moment, but I think we need to address policy.
- 1:56Speaker 8: Yes.
- 1:57Speaker 2: Here on the show. About time. About damn time. Okay. Now,
- 2:02Speaker 2: this has to do.
- 2:03Speaker 3: With a box of Twinkies that was brought into the studio.
- 2:09Speaker 2: A sealed box of Twinkies.
- 2:11Speaker 3: A brand new box of Twinkies that was brought in
- 2:13Speaker 3: here and left on the feeding table.
- 2:16Speaker 2: Right. Which is, by the way, where all of like,
- 2:18Speaker 2: there's pastries and all the food that comes in.
- 2:21Speaker 3: Any food that comes in the studio goes on the
- 2:23Speaker 3: feeding table. Because that's where you feed from.
- 2:24Speaker 2: Yeah. Okay.
- 2:26Speaker 3: So that's not my question. Just for the listeners. The
- 2:30Speaker 3: box of Twinkies was sitting there, unopened, because, and Gina
- 2:33Speaker 3: Grad informed me that she saw this box of Twinkies,
- 2:36Speaker 3: bought them, because we were talking about recently how Hostess
- 2:39Speaker 3: made a bunch of different changes. They got rid of
- 2:40Speaker 3: the Ho-Hos, and I had mentioned how I seen the
- 2:45Speaker 3: packages of Twinkies, like the individually wrapped ones they sell,
- 2:48Speaker 3: like gas stations and stuff. I said, they even look different.
- 2:52Speaker 2: They look more dense. I think they changed those up. Yeah, definitely.
- 2:56Speaker 3: We heard about how they taste different. So Gina saw
- 2:59Speaker 3: the Twinkies, bought them to bring them in so we
- 3:00Speaker 3: could have a taste test.
- 3:01Speaker 6: Let's find out.
- 3:02Speaker 2: Which she only knew in her mind.
- 3:03Speaker 6: No, and Woody knew and Jeff knew.
- 3:05Speaker 2: And told you, okay.
- 3:06Speaker 3: But anyway, Unopened Box sits on the feeding table here
- 3:09Speaker 3: in the studio. Next to where we're loading up all
- 3:10Speaker 3: kinds of stuff to be eaten that morning. Okay, then
- 3:12Speaker 3: how does that explain... Seabass walks out of the studio,
- 3:16Speaker 3: takes them, has a sign printed up, Twinkies courtesy of
- 3:20Speaker 3: Seabass that he was going to bring somewhere else.
- 3:25Speaker 4: It said free Twinkies.
- 3:26Speaker 2: Free Twinkies. I said free Twinkies courtesy of the Twinks
- 3:29Speaker 2: at the Woody show. Not from Seabass. Thank you very much.
- 3:32Speaker 6: But why would you assume they were just yours to
- 3:34Speaker 6: give out?
- 3:35Speaker 2: How are those for you to give away? Because I
- 3:37Speaker 2: figured they came with the giant boxes and piles of
- 3:39Speaker 2: crap and food for Menace because they're sitting on the
- 3:42Speaker 2: feeding table where all that stuff was being stored.
- 3:44Speaker 3: But why would that mean to give out to other people?
- 3:46Speaker 2: They could have been my Twinkies.
- 3:47Speaker 3: Especially because it's a brand new box of Twinkies, which
- 3:50Speaker 3: will survive the apocalypse.
- 3:51Speaker 2: Because it's not like they're going to go stale. And
- 3:54Speaker 2: you're proving my point right there. It's not the food
- 3:57Speaker 2: storage for later table. It's the food feeding, feeding active
- 4:01Speaker 2: for Jaren table. So here's the thing. He is a
- 4:04Speaker 2: food liaison. Thank you.
- 4:05Speaker 6: I would have thought about this.
- 4:06Speaker 2: Okay.
- 4:07Speaker 3: Here, here's the thing. I think, uh, I'm going to,
- 4:09Speaker 3: I'm going to, I'm going to propose policy.
- 4:10Speaker 2: New policy.
- 4:11Speaker 3: Well, I mean, like I, I, apparently we need it.
- 4:13Speaker 3: I kind of figured, I kind of figured, cause we've
- 4:15Speaker 3: had this issue, not just, you know, sea bass is
- 4:17Speaker 3: not the first time with, uh, you know, this kind
- 4:19Speaker 3: of thing. We've had other people who've done the same
- 4:21Speaker 3: thing to us before, where there's food that they feel
- 4:23Speaker 3: is theirs to give away. If it's not food that
- 4:26Speaker 3: you brought in, you do not, number one, open it
- 4:30Speaker 3: just on your own without saying, hey, is this for something?
- 4:33Speaker 3: Are we using this for something? Or number two, it's
- 4:36Speaker 3: not yours to give away. If you didn't bring it
- 4:37Speaker 3: in here, it's not yours to... Bring to some other department.
- 4:41Speaker 6: Or- I think those are pretty obvious rules.
- 4:42Speaker 2: No, no, no, no, no, no.
- 4:43Speaker 4: It's surprising we need to make policy.
- 4:44Speaker 2: Let me make a counter policy.
- 4:48Speaker 6: I think everybody was on the same page except.
- 4:50Speaker 2: For one person. Because otherwise, crap will just sit there
- 4:53Speaker 2: for weeks and weeks and months and months. That's not true.
- 4:56Speaker 2: I've seen it happen a thousand times.
- 4:57Speaker 6: But I did bring it in to get eaten. And
- 5:00Speaker 6: Woody knew.
- 5:00Speaker 2: And Woody knew. Yeah.
- 5:03Speaker 6: That it was there, so I'm not going to be
- 5:04Speaker 6: able to decide when we're going to use it.
- 5:05Speaker 3: Twinkies are not a fresh dozen of donuts that's going
- 5:07Speaker 3: to be bad the next day. Twinkies can be there
- 5:09Speaker 3: for a couple of days.
- 5:10Speaker 7: You're exactly raising my point.
- 5:13Speaker 3: Things just sit there. Especially when it's been raining food otherwise.
- 5:17Speaker 3: We've had a delivery driver appreciation.
- 5:19Speaker 2: A menace was on a tear. You're making my point
- 5:22Speaker 2: for me again! Because we got a lot of stuff going.
- 5:24Speaker 2: We can't be cluttering up with random crap that won't
- 5:26Speaker 2: be used for weeks.
- 5:27Speaker 1: But also.
- 5:27Speaker 2: Just put it anywhere else besides the feeding table, students.
- 5:29Speaker 6: Feel free to ask if you're not sure, stupid.
- 5:32Speaker 2: Okay, so.
- 5:32Speaker 3: How does that work?
- 5:33Speaker 2: Jeff G. I have an idea. Yes. Let's just put
- 5:35Speaker 2: a post-it on the food that's for bits.
- 5:38Speaker 4: We don't.
- 5:38Speaker 2: Yes, Jeff G. Perfect. And that's all we have to
- 5:41Speaker 2: do because. Yes, but you're. But you can communicate by asking,
- 5:45Speaker 2: is this for something?
- 5:46Speaker 6: Which I do every time I see something on that table.
- 5:49Speaker 2: Are you doing the same thing?
- 5:49Speaker 3: Do you go to the break room fridge and you
- 5:52Speaker 3: just decide things that are there that you did not bring,
- 5:54Speaker 3: where they're gonna go, or who's gonna get them, or
- 5:56Speaker 3: when they need to be thrown away?
- 5:58Speaker 2: I am King Throwout, yes I am. And by the way,
- 6:00Speaker 2: I'm not counting down the minutes and the hours. This
- 6:04Speaker 2: is weeks and months stuff will sit in our break
- 6:07Speaker 2: room fridges. And yes, I do throw that out.
- 6:09Speaker 3: This has been 48 hours. Jeff, toss the Twinkies out.
- 6:12Speaker 2: I do agree with your policy. We shouldn't eat what's
- 6:14Speaker 2: not ours. But just for safety's sake, for a bit.
- 6:17Speaker 6: You're always welcome to ask, are these for anything?
- 6:20Speaker 3: Okay, so I will point out, as I'm opening up
- 6:22Speaker 3: one of these Twinkies, they even look different.
- 6:26Speaker 2: These look like they've been in the oven longer. They
- 6:29Speaker 2: look well done. Yeah, they're not like the- Yeah, they're
- 6:32Speaker 2: golden brown. Correct. They're used to be more yellow. Yeah, yellowy.
- 6:36Speaker 3: Yeah, they're more yellowy.
- 6:37Speaker 2: I do agree with Seabass. There should be a limit-
- 6:39Speaker 2: I don't think Seabass should get one.
- 6:41Speaker 1: Oh.
- 6:41Speaker 9: Oh, wow.
- 6:41Speaker 4: I'm sure he's already had one.
- 6:42Speaker 6: I'm sure he's already had one, but he wanted to
- 6:44Speaker 6: give him one.
- 6:45Speaker 2: Yes, Menace.
- 6:45Speaker 7: There should be a limit on how long the food
- 6:48Speaker 7: should be there.
- 6:49Speaker 2: Is 48 hours okay? Does it just sit? I think
- 6:50Speaker 2: 48 hours is fine. No, but Menace- Sometimes there's stuff.
- 6:54Speaker 7: That's been there for like a week. I'm like, yo,
- 6:56Speaker 7: are we getting this or not?
- 6:57Speaker 2: Exactly.
- 6:57Speaker 10: What about if we come back on Monday and it's
- 6:59Speaker 10: still here, then it's game.
- 7:01Speaker 2: But Woody also proved my point when he said we
- 7:02Speaker 2: have a constant influx of food this time of year. Yeah,
- 7:05Speaker 2: so we need to keep that table clear. We just
- 7:06Speaker 2: can't have stuff sitting there for whenever. But if it's
- 7:08Speaker 2: brand new in a box.
- 7:09Speaker 6: We don't know that.
- 7:09Speaker 2: It's brand new in a box. What do you mean?
- 7:12Speaker 2: The box was unopened. It was. Like you said, the
- 7:15Speaker 2: box could have been sitting around somewhere for weeks. No,
- 7:17Speaker 2: it wasn't.
- 7:17Speaker 3: Wait, you're the one who opened the box, so you
- 7:19Speaker 3: didn't notice that it wasn't open before you opened it.
- 7:20Speaker 2: That's not what I said. You're saying brand new, like
- 7:22Speaker 2: it just appeared out of the factory. Oh, get out
- 7:25Speaker 2: of here. Okay, I do need a recommend something else, maybe.
- 7:29Speaker 3: It tastes the same.
- 7:31Speaker 2: Bigger table.
- 7:32Speaker 3: They still taste the same.
- 7:33Speaker 2: Bigger table?
- 7:34Speaker 6: Is it as spongy as it used to be?
- 7:35Speaker 2: No, it seems a little bit more dense.
- 7:37Speaker 6: Dense, yeah.
- 7:37Speaker 4: You think?
- 7:38Speaker 2: No, it tastes the same to me. I'd like to
- 7:40Speaker 2: point out that Sammy's not even eating, nor is she passing.
- 7:42Speaker 6: That's correct.
- 7:44Speaker 2: That's right.
- 7:46Speaker 4: I have all the rest of the Twinkies just here
- 7:48Speaker 4: for me.
- 7:48Speaker 2: And let it be pointed out that I was not
- 7:50Speaker 2: stealing from myself. I was stealing and giving credit to
- 7:53Speaker 2: the show. I don't know, Seabus.
- 7:53Speaker 4: I think they might have gone bad, so I'm just
- 7:55Speaker 4: trying to protect you from these Twinkies that have been
- 7:58Speaker 4: sitting around for so long.
- 7:59Speaker 3: You would take a brand new box of snack cakes
- 8:02Speaker 3: from the fattest show on the radio and take them
- 8:04Speaker 3: out of here and then give them away to other...
- 8:07Speaker 3: But you just kind of came and grabbed the box.
- 8:09Speaker 3: You didn't even say, hey, does anybody care if I.
- 8:12Speaker 2: Give these away. Because why would anyone care? They're just Twinkies.
- 8:15Speaker 3: The whole room cares.
- 8:16Speaker 6: Oh, my God.
- 8:17Speaker 2: Gina cared. Nobody else cared. No, everybody cared.
- 8:20Speaker 6: This is like Twilight Zone.
- 8:22Speaker 2: All right. May I have one, Sammy?
- 8:23Speaker 6: No, you try it.
- 8:23Speaker 2: Now we're going to have to hire a security guard.
- 8:25Speaker 2: I know. Sammy is the security guard. Time for the birthdays.
- 8:29Speaker 2: It's your birthday. We're going to party like it's your birthday.
- 8:33Speaker 2: We're going to sip the toddy like it's your birthday.
- 8:37Speaker 2: And you know we don't give a fuck because it's
- 8:39Speaker 2: your birthday. All right.
- 8:40Speaker 3: Happy birthday to Judge Judy.
- 8:43Speaker 6: Oh.
- 8:43Speaker 2: Ain't she retiring?
- 8:44Speaker 6: Don't pee on my shoe and tell me it's raining.
- 8:46Speaker 2: She already did, I think.
- 8:48Speaker 3: That quote has been attributed to so many different people.
- 8:50Speaker 6: Oh, I always thought that's a Judge Judy quote.
- 8:51Speaker 2: No. She didn't come up with that. Well, I heard
- 8:53Speaker 2: her say it. popularized it yeah she popularized that one
- 8:56Speaker 2: yeah that's the only place i've ever heard it because
- 8:58Speaker 2: i remember hearing it back in like the 90s and
- 9:00Speaker 2: there was a dj named scott shannon oh yeah and
- 9:04Speaker 2: he would say.
- 9:04Speaker 3: It all the time oh really don't be on my
- 9:06Speaker 3: foot and tell me it's raining todd pettengill.
- 9:10Speaker 6: I think it's she doesn't sound like that at.
- 9:12Speaker 2: All 5wplj it's funny coming from a little cute old
- 9:15Speaker 2: lady yeah.
- 9:16Speaker 3: A little yeah uh kim kardashian while he did the
- 9:19Speaker 3: show in new york there you go maybe maybe she
- 9:21Speaker 3: got it from him i don't know Kim Kardashian's 46.
- 9:24Speaker 2: What?
- 9:25Speaker 3: Sammy, your favorite rat-faced man, Glenn Powell.
- 9:28Speaker 6: Oh, yes.
- 9:29Speaker 3: You should have the day off. Is 38 years old today.
- 9:32Speaker 6: Oh, happy birthday.
- 9:33Speaker 2: Country singer Kane Brown. Kane Brown. It's Kane Brown's birthday.
- 9:37Speaker 2: 33 today.
- 9:38Speaker 3: Doja Cat's 31. Amber Rose is 43. Your porno birthday
- 9:42Speaker 3: today is Gigi Allen's.
- 9:45Speaker 2: And today's birthday girl is from Australia. Hi. And if
- 9:48Speaker 2: you ask her, the answer is thrashed. Ha ha.

- 10:11Speaker 3: She was in X-Rated Gardengasm.
- 10:15Speaker 2: Oh, Greg, are you in that? Yeah, I should be.
- 10:18Speaker 3: And then who can forget her unforgettable role in Prostate Drainer?
- 10:21Speaker 2: Oh, God.
- 10:25Speaker 3: That's Gigi Allens, who is 40 years old today. And
- 10:29Speaker 3: that's your porno birthday and your celebrity birthdays here on
- 10:32Speaker 3: The Woody Show.
- 10:34Speaker 6: I sold a pair of my dirty workout socks.
- 10:36Speaker 2: To a foot freak. Yes!
- 10:43Speaker 5: Consider selling other wares, such as a bra or something
- 10:46Speaker 5: like that?
- 10:47Speaker 2: Do you want to buy my panties, Sammy?
- 10:49Speaker 6: No, I'm just curious.
- 10:50Speaker 2: What you're up for. That's declared on taxes, right?
- 10:55Speaker 6: Oh, sure.
- 10:57Speaker 2: From panties and sock sales. Well, you've got to hit
- 11:00Speaker 2: a certain threshold.
- 11:01Speaker 6: Like $ 600, maybe?
- 11:03Speaker 3: What's it work with Etsy?
- 11:04Speaker 2: You still do Etsy, Sammy?
- 11:06Speaker 4: I have some stuff up there, but I've never hit
- 11:08Speaker 4: the threshold.
- 11:08Speaker 9: I don't think.
- 11:10Speaker 2: Well, I think they lowered it. Any new items on
- 11:12Speaker 2: your Etsy store?
- 11:12Speaker 1: No.
- 11:13Speaker 6: Nothing seasonal?
- 11:14Speaker 4: No, because I'm working on a very elaborate blanket right
- 11:18Speaker 4: now for a Christmas present for someone in my family,
- 11:20Speaker 4: and it's a whole thing. It's very strenuous, but it'll
- 11:25Speaker 4: be worth it.
- 11:25Speaker 2: I know. Homemade gifts, right, Greg? That's what I want.
- 11:29Speaker 2: It's one thing when your kids make them.
- 11:30Speaker 5: Although Sammy did give us snowmen one year.
- 11:33Speaker 2: Yes, I did.
- 11:33Speaker 6: Those are cute. I love my snowmen.
- 11:35Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 11:37Speaker 2: 877-44-WOODY. You can send us a text over to 22987.
- 11:41Speaker 2: Greg Gorey. Yes.
- 11:42Speaker 3: What's happening with the trending news headlines?
- 11:44Speaker 2: Well, the U.S.
- 11:45Speaker 5: Sent a special envoy, Steve Witkoff, to Russia. He's repping
- 11:48Speaker 5: the USA and talks with Vladimir Putin, hoping to put
- 11:51Speaker 5: an end to the war in Ukraine. So that is
- 11:53Speaker 5: still up in the air. But there was a pretty
- 11:55Speaker 5: major development. Russia did agree to release an American prisoner
- 11:59Speaker 5: that they've been holding since 2022.
- 12:01Speaker 2: Yeah. 74-year-old teacher.
- 12:03Speaker 5: I heard something about that. A retired teacher from Michigan
- 12:07Speaker 5: who Russia claims was working with Ukraine as a mercenary.
- 12:12Speaker 6: Okay.
- 12:13Speaker 5: So he's been in prison four years. So he was
- 12:14Speaker 5: 70 when he was hired as a mercenary.
- 12:17Speaker 4: Okay.
- 12:17Speaker 6: I mean, he would be the last one I'd suspect.
- 12:19Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 12:20Speaker 5: Stephen and his family totally deny it. The State Department
- 12:23Speaker 5: has designated him as wrongfully detained, so apparently President Trump
- 12:26Speaker 5: personally talked to Putin to get him released... And they
- 12:29Speaker 5: did not have to do a prisoner swap like they
- 12:31Speaker 5: did with Brittany Griner back when she was being held.
- 12:33Speaker 3: What does that mean? Like when you're a mercenary, what
- 12:35Speaker 3: do you do?
- 12:35Speaker 5: So mercenary is a soldier, but he's a private soldier,
- 12:39Speaker 5: not fighting for loyalty or patriotism. He's fighting to get paid.
- 12:43Speaker 6: Like a hitman?
- 12:44Speaker 2: So yeah, I'll fight for you if you pay me. See,
- 12:45Speaker 2: mercenary sounds misleading.
- 12:47Speaker 3: Like I would think that's a person going to drill
- 12:49Speaker 3: a well for water or something.
- 12:51Speaker 2: It does sound like that. You know what I mean?
- 12:52Speaker 2: You're going like one of those... Like a peacemason. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 12:56Speaker 6: A mercenary.
- 12:57Speaker 2: Yeah, mercy. There's mercy right in there. You're going there
- 13:00Speaker 2: to try to end things. Yeah, or go and spread
- 13:03Speaker 2: gospel or something. It does sound that way, yeah. Doesn't it? Yeah.
- 13:07Speaker 2: But I like how Russia.
- 13:09Speaker 5: Grasped at Strauss. He's a mercenary. Okay, he was 70
- 13:12Speaker 5: at the time.
- 13:12Speaker 6: And we didn't have to give back one of their
- 13:14Speaker 6: top terrorists.
- 13:15Speaker 2: Yeah, exactly. Some drug lord. This is definitely strategic.
- 13:18Speaker 1: Right.
- 13:18Speaker 2: Strategic. Look, these guys are cool. They're giving people back.
- 13:23Speaker 3: I'm just thinking about that guy, man. Can you imagine?
- 13:26Speaker 3: And you hear people every once in a while, they
- 13:29Speaker 3: step in it because they weren't aware of whatever the
- 13:31Speaker 3: local rule. And it's not a big deal at home,
- 13:35Speaker 3: but it's a big deal here.
- 13:36Speaker 2: And now you're in jail in a foreign country.
- 13:39Speaker 6: Remember the name Otto Warmbier?
- 13:40Speaker 2: Man, that would suck.
- 13:41Speaker 6: Yeah, he grabbed a banner in a school in North Korea.
- 13:46Speaker 6: And he came back in a box.
- 13:48Speaker 1: Oh, yes.
- 13:48Speaker 2: What are you doing, dude? I do remember, right? Yeah.
- 13:50Speaker 2: You know?
- 13:51Speaker 5: Also, some shocking news about Christina Applegate. She announced that
- 13:54Speaker 5: she does not have MS. So she says it was
- 13:57Speaker 5: a misdiagnosis. She made that statement on V.
- 13:59Speaker 2: So what's wrong with her? Because she's clearly something going on.
- 14:02Speaker 5: That's the thing.
- 14:03Speaker 2: They don't know.
- 14:04Speaker 5: She does this podcast with fellow actress Jamie Lynn Sigler,
- 14:07Speaker 5: who does have MS.
- 14:08Speaker 2: She does, yeah, from Sopranos.
- 14:10Speaker 5: And Christina says her doctor recently told her she doesn't
- 14:12Speaker 5: have it. And when she heard the news, instead of
- 14:14Speaker 5: being relieved, Christina said she was angry and devastated because
- 14:17Speaker 5: she's still experiencing severe symptoms that have actually gotten worse.
- 14:21Speaker 6: I feel the same way.
- 14:21Speaker 2: What have we been doing?
- 14:23Speaker 3: You think you have MS, and so you're trying to
- 14:26Speaker 3: deal with it within the framework of that, right? Now
- 14:29Speaker 3: you're told, nope, it's not MS. But you still have
- 14:31Speaker 3: all the physical and all the other things that you're
- 14:35Speaker 3: dealing with. But now no direction, no answer. I've said
- 14:39Speaker 3: a number of times, I always feel like I'm best...
- 14:42Speaker 3: When I know what I'm dealing with. It's when you
- 14:45Speaker 3: don't know. It's when something's out there and you haven't
- 14:47Speaker 3: been able to pinpoint it. You're trying to figure out,
- 14:49Speaker 3: you know, like an issue or a problem in your
- 14:51Speaker 3: life or in your work or whatever it is.
- 14:54Speaker 2: And you can't. Once you know what you're dealing with,
- 14:57Speaker 2: I feel like you can deal with it.
- 14:58Speaker 6: And you can put a plan in place.
- 14:59Speaker 2: Yeah. Like it's still going to suck.
- 15:01Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 15:01Speaker 3: You know, but at least you know what you're dealing with.
- 15:03Speaker 3: You know there's a face to your problem. Yeah, there's
- 15:06Speaker 3: a label.
- 15:07Speaker 6: I think this is terrible news for her. Like, well,
- 15:09Speaker 6: we don't know what it is, but it ain't that.
- 15:10Speaker 5: She thinks so, too, because everybody around her was so
- 15:12Speaker 5: excited and happy. Hey, you don't have MS. And she
- 15:15Speaker 5: said she couldn't even compose herself. It's not like she's cured.
- 15:17Speaker 2: Yeah, exactly.
- 15:19Speaker 6: You have another mystery illness.
- 15:20Speaker 2: I guess this is not unique, though. Not at all.
- 15:23Speaker 5: They had this neurologist on that podcast, and they said
- 15:25Speaker 5: that MS is difficult to diagnose because there's not a
- 15:28Speaker 5: single test that confirms it. And she also said that
- 15:31Speaker 5: one in five people diagnosed with MS are actually misdiagnosed.
- 15:35Speaker 6: Oh, my God.
- 15:36Speaker 5: So now they're back to square one trying to figure
- 15:38Speaker 5: out what's wrong with her. Also, Polymarket has removed a
- 15:41Speaker 5: wager from that prediction market platform that allowed users to
- 15:44Speaker 5: bet on whether any of the seven guys accused in
- 15:47Speaker 5: that Cornell University story are going to be charged with
- 15:50Speaker 5: a felony sex crime.
- 15:51Speaker 2: So the company's regulated by the U.S. commodity. You can
- 15:53Speaker 2: bet on anything. Anything.
- 15:55Speaker 5: When they say anything, they meant anything. They are regulated
- 15:59Speaker 5: by the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission, which bans trading
- 16:02Speaker 5: that's related to activity that's unlawful under federal or state law.
- 16:06Speaker 5: So no more betting on that.
- 16:08Speaker 2: What kind of degenerate are you?
- 16:10Speaker 3: You're gambling on that. You're gambling on– we've talked about
- 16:12Speaker 3: those marble races that my.
- 16:14Speaker 2: Friend's son– Oh, Greg loves those. I do love those.
- 16:16Speaker 3: Yeah, but like– yeah, my friend– his college son, his
- 16:20Speaker 3: college-age son, he and his buddies, they have college money.
- 16:23Speaker 2: You know what I mean? They don't have any money,
- 16:25Speaker 2: but they're betting on these marble races that they're watching
- 16:27Speaker 2: that are getting streamed on YouTube. It's like, that's degenerate
- 16:31Speaker 2: gambler behavior.
- 16:32Speaker 3: It's one thing I could see. You place a bet
- 16:34Speaker 3: on your team for Sunday.
- 16:35Speaker 2: For five bucks.
- 16:36Speaker 3: Yeah, for something like that. You go out to the
- 16:38Speaker 3: track and you bet a couple ponies. But man, when
- 16:41Speaker 3: you're betting marble races and whether these guys are going
- 16:43Speaker 3: to have you know, felony charges filed.
- 16:46Speaker 6: Oh my God. Jeff, how would you feel if your
- 16:48Speaker 6: kid who's in college out of the country was like,
- 16:51Speaker 6: do I need some money? I lost it all in
- 16:52Speaker 6: marble races.
- 16:53Speaker 2: I wouldn't send it to him. First of all, you
- 16:56Speaker 2: know what? I low key bet on who was going
- 16:58Speaker 2: to get voted out on big brother one week. Oh, degenerate. Yeah.
- 17:02Speaker 2: Kind of. Yeah. Like real money.
- 17:04Speaker 3: Or is it like one of Greg Gorey's slot machines? No,
- 17:06Speaker 3: it was money.
- 17:07Speaker 7: I guarantee you it's happening big time on dancing with
- 17:11Speaker 7: the stars right now.
- 17:12Speaker 2: People are so into that. They are?
- 17:14Speaker 5: It's degenerate and that's kind of girly.
- 17:16Speaker 2: Dude, because there's drama.
- 17:18Speaker 6: There's Dancing with the Stars drama.
- 17:20Speaker 7: Yeah, Dancing with the Stars is like huge. It's back
- 17:23Speaker 7: big time.
- 17:24Speaker 4: Really?
- 17:24Speaker 2: Yeah. Why? I don't know. I don't know. Are there
- 17:27Speaker 2: any stars on there? They had this huge resurgence. Who
- 17:31Speaker 2: are the celebrities?
- 17:31Speaker 6: Julia Stiles, hello. That's all I can think of.
- 17:35Speaker 2: Currently, I don't know.
- 17:36Speaker 7: No, it's just like Olympians, and then there's also that one-
- 17:39Speaker 7: So what's the draw, I guess?
- 17:41Speaker 2: There's big cheesemaking this year, right? Someone got kicked off
- 17:43Speaker 2: or something.
- 17:45Speaker 7: Well, the guys, the professional dancers, there's been some drama
- 17:48Speaker 7: with them because- One of the guys is married to
- 17:51Speaker 7: another professional dancer on the show.
- 17:53Speaker 2: Here, Dancing with the Stars, Suspended Pro, Val.
- 17:56Speaker 6: Cherimovsky.
- 17:56Speaker 2: Cherimovsky.
- 17:59Speaker 3: For a week over his deleted TikTok, joking about the
- 18:03Speaker 3: Will Smith slap toward Judge Carrie Ann Anaba.
- 18:06Speaker 6: Yeah, he goes, I was about to go full Will
- 18:08Speaker 6: Smith on her.
- 18:08Speaker 3: So partner Jenna Dewan dances dedication night with fill-in Alan Burstyn.
- 18:15Speaker 2: People are, really? It's back? Yeah, dude. I wouldn't say
- 18:17Speaker 2: it's back. I would say it never went away. Really?
- 18:20Speaker 2: I mean, the guy's not even on it. People are
- 18:21Speaker 2: so into it. It's just streaming now, right? It's not
- 18:23Speaker 2: even on the network? No, they put it back on TV, too.
- 18:25Speaker 2: They put it back, yeah. Yeah. It's that big. Wow.
- 18:28Speaker 2: Somehow Dancing with the Stars has not dominated my feed.
- 18:32Speaker 2: It's not your jam. I like the Olympic gold medalist.
- 18:35Speaker 2: I forget her name. She's that blonde girl. She's so good.
- 18:39Speaker 7: Yeah, she takes all of her, well, she's the only
- 18:42Speaker 7: one on there that's Olympic medalist. But she does all
- 18:47Speaker 7: the stuff that she would do on the ice in
- 18:49Speaker 7: dance moves.
- 18:50Speaker 2: On land? Yeah, it's crazy.
- 18:52Speaker 6: Amber Glenn?
- 18:52Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 18:53Speaker 5: Well, in other news on that Cornell case, a former
- 18:56Speaker 5: president of the Chi Phi fraternity at Cornell was dropped
- 18:59Speaker 5: from the Jane Doe lawsuit. He was never accused of
- 19:03Speaker 5: taking part in anything, but he was still named in
- 19:05Speaker 5: that lawsuit as the president of the frat, even though
- 19:07Speaker 5: he was not president.
- 19:09Speaker 2: Oh, that sucks. He got dirty. He got removed. Your
- 19:12Speaker 2: name's involved.
- 19:14Speaker 3: You weren't even the president at the time, and you
- 19:16Speaker 3: obviously weren't involved in anything that went on that day.
- 19:20Speaker 6: How did I get hurt?
- 19:21Speaker 2: I wasn't even there. Why are you lumping me into this?
- 19:23Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 19:24Speaker 5: Also, the president and vice president, they launched a whistleblower program.
- 19:28Speaker 5: This is a $ 25 million program to pay people who
- 19:31Speaker 5: help uncover fraud that involves government money. So under this
- 19:35Speaker 5: new program, people whose tips lead to a fraud conviction
- 19:38Speaker 5: could get up to $ 30, 000. I don't believe it. I'll
- 19:40Speaker 5: tell you why.
- 19:41Speaker 6: Yeah, I don't want to be on that list.
- 19:42Speaker 3: So it's to expose government fraud.
- 19:45Speaker 6: By the government.
- 19:46Speaker 3: But the government starts the program.
- 19:48Speaker 6: I'm not getting on that list.
- 19:49Speaker 2: Government fraud.
- 19:49Speaker 6: Yep.
- 19:50Speaker 3: Snitching on yourself. Yeah, that's like when companies do an
- 19:54Speaker 3: internal investigation.
- 19:55Speaker 2: Ah, yeah. We're good. Yeah, I think they want to know,
- 19:58Speaker 2: what do you know?
- 19:59Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 20:00Speaker 2: Right? Who are you working with?
- 20:03Speaker 3: This is the paranoid person in me. I see that
- 20:06Speaker 3: as like, we want to know what the public knows
- 20:09Speaker 3: or has any kind of inkling about. and see what
- 20:12Speaker 3: they know, because they're going to try to prove it,
- 20:14Speaker 3: trying to get this money, this reward, right?
- 20:17Speaker 5: Or if you're working in a department, you're snitching on
- 20:19Speaker 5: people because you see it.
- 20:20Speaker 3: Yeah, they want to know where the leak is. They
- 20:21Speaker 3: want to know what information is out there. That way
- 20:24Speaker 3: they can do a better job of covering up. I
- 20:25Speaker 3: don't trust it.
- 20:26Speaker 2: I don't trust it. It's administered by the Justice Department, though,
- 20:30Speaker 2: so you have to trust it. Well, then. Yeah, well, then. Yes, Jeff.
- 20:34Speaker 2: Do you ever get one of these from one of
- 20:36Speaker 2: your bosses where it's like, hey, fill this out. It's confidential.
- 20:38Speaker 2: No one will know, too. It's like two or three
- 20:41Speaker 2: questions about internal processes and stuff. I never filled those out, dude.
- 20:44Speaker 2: I was like, no way. Of course you know it's
- 20:46Speaker 2: from me.
- 20:46Speaker 3: Now, this was years and years ago, and it turned
- 20:49Speaker 3: out that wasn't so confidential because people were filling these
- 20:52Speaker 3: things out and- They figured out what was going on.
- 20:55Speaker 3: And then they ended up saying, like, well, we heard
- 20:58Speaker 3: from a number of your coworkers that not me, like
- 21:00Speaker 3: whatever the situation that was going on. And then they
- 21:03Speaker 3: ended up naming the coworkers.
- 21:05Speaker 2: Oh, yeah.
- 21:06Speaker 6: And on a much smaller scale, I'll never forget in college,
- 21:09Speaker 6: there was a review for our voice teachers and they
- 21:12Speaker 6: said it was totally confidential. They'd never find out. And
- 21:15Speaker 6: mine was always late. We always started late and that
- 21:17Speaker 6: always kind of bothered me. So one day I come in, hey, hey,
- 21:20Speaker 6: how are you? She goes, well, I don't want to
- 21:21Speaker 6: risk being late, Gina, so let's get started. I was like,
- 21:25Speaker 6: god damn it. So I've never done it again. I'm
- 21:28Speaker 6: with you, Jeff.
- 21:30Speaker 2: I've never gotten one of those. If it wasn't here, really?
- 21:34Speaker 3: If it wasn't the government starting it, I would be, okay,
- 21:37Speaker 3: there's just some super rich guy.
- 21:39Speaker 2: Private watchdog group. Somebody who's passionate about that.
- 21:43Speaker 3: And it turned out that it was something that was
- 21:45Speaker 3: exposed and it was true and you got you know,
- 21:48Speaker 3: whatever they set, whatever the fee was that you would get.
- 21:50Speaker 5: But if it's coming internally, wouldn't it even be more successful?
- 21:53Speaker 5: Because people are witnessing it firsthand. And then they're going
- 21:56Speaker 5: to snitch on the co-worker.
- 21:58Speaker 3: Because they'll find little tiny things here and there. But
- 22:00Speaker 3: the stuff, I think that's the real big stuff, the
- 22:03Speaker 3: stuff that there's so many hands in the jar, you know,
- 22:07Speaker 3: because all those guys, like, you know, they've said for
- 22:10Speaker 3: a number of years that, you know, we are all
- 22:13Speaker 3: just the pawns, right? It's both parties that are working
- 22:16Speaker 3: together Right? To get rich and stay in power. And
- 22:20Speaker 3: it's the rest of us that are getting played against
- 22:21Speaker 3: each other.
- 22:22Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 22:22Speaker 3: And being divided and everything else.
- 22:24Speaker 2: These guys go to lunch together. Correct. Nothing changes. Yeah.
- 22:28Speaker 2: Nothing changes. Can't trust any of it, man. So frustrating.
- 22:30Speaker 2: We'll end with this. It'd be great. Like, in theory.
- 22:33Speaker 2: I like the idea. That's fantastic.
- 22:35Speaker 3: I forget what they said, what percentage of the federal
- 22:38Speaker 3: budget every year ends up going to fraud.
- 22:42Speaker 2: But it's crazy.
- 22:43Speaker 3: It's like 25% or something like that. I mean, we're
- 22:46Speaker 3: talking billions and hundreds of billions of dollars.
- 22:50Speaker 2: Oh, yeah. Right?
- 22:51Speaker 3: So it'd be great to figure that out because they're
- 22:53Speaker 3: all turning us upside down and shaking us for change.
- 22:55Speaker 2: Oh, yeah.
- 22:55Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 22:56Speaker 2: Look at your pay stub and see what goes out
- 22:59Speaker 2: the taxes, both federal and local. Or just do what
- 23:02Speaker 2: my friend does. Just don't look.
- 23:03Speaker 3: It'd be great if that stuff would really happen.
- 23:06Speaker 6: Yeah, it says about $ 500 billion.
- 23:10Speaker 3: And that's where we go to work to pay for that. Yeah,
- 23:15Speaker 3: the depressing stat is the one where they go, all right,
- 23:17Speaker 3: so from January 1st until whatever the date is, You
- 23:21Speaker 3: go to work every single day.
- 23:22Speaker 2: It's deep into the year. Many months. It's about half
- 23:26Speaker 2: the year.
- 23:26Speaker 3: Every day that you go to work, all that money
- 23:28Speaker 3: that you've earned from January 1st until this date satisfies
- 23:32Speaker 3: your tax obligation. And then whatever you do from that
- 23:35Speaker 3: date to the rest of the year, December 31st, that's
- 23:37Speaker 3: the part you actually get to take home.
- 23:39Speaker 7: I think it's like until July now, right?
- 23:41Speaker 6: I thought it was the end of April.
- 23:42Speaker 5: I think, no, it's at least May. National Tax Freedom Day,
- 23:47Speaker 5: I think it's called.
- 23:48Speaker 4: Wouldn't it be different for everyone, though?
- 23:50Speaker 1: Yes.
- 23:50Speaker 4: Because percentage-wise... Yes.
- 23:53Speaker 2: Right?
- 23:53Speaker 4: Everyone's under a different percentage in the tax bracket.
- 23:55Speaker 6: April 16th, it says.
- 23:56Speaker 5: It feels like it's December 30th.
- 23:59Speaker 3: You work for 106 days to cover your total tax
- 24:01Speaker 3: burden across federal, state, and local governments. The concept is
- 24:05Speaker 3: tracked annually by the Tax Foundation.
- 24:07Speaker 2: Okay. It feels like July to me. Oh, God. It
- 24:10Speaker 2: feels like all year.
- 24:10Speaker 3: It's a national average. Your personal date depends heavily on
- 24:13Speaker 3: your income bracket and state of residence.
- 24:15Speaker 9: Okay.
- 24:16Speaker 2: Okay. Yeah, so it is different for everybody.
- 24:18Speaker 3: Yeah, so from January 1st to April 16th, which is weird.
- 24:21Speaker 3: It's the day after Tax Day.
- 24:23Speaker 2: Tax Day. Coincidence. Yeah, so you work all the way
- 24:26Speaker 2: through tax and including Tax Day. Oh, yuck.
- 24:29Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 24:29Speaker 2: And then you pay to get your taxes done. Exactly.
- 24:31Speaker 2: Super fun. We'll end on this.
- 24:33Speaker 5: According to the latest numbers, AI not getting any more popular.
- 24:36Speaker 5: It's actually the opposite. 57% of people think AI is
- 24:40Speaker 5: a bad thing for society. Only 2% say it's extremely good.
- 24:44Speaker 5: And the main age group against it, people 30 and younger,
- 24:47Speaker 5: because they think AI is going to eliminate jobs and
- 24:49Speaker 5: increase economic inequality. So in other words, who will actually
- 24:53Speaker 5: benefit from AI? No surprise, 70% of people are opposed
- 24:57Speaker 5: to constructing new data centers, 70%. All that said, AI,
- 25:01Speaker 5: not all bad. So the FDA just cleared something that's
- 25:04Speaker 5: called tumor site risk.
- 25:06Speaker 3: Well, I heard about this.
- 25:07Speaker 2: That's an AI tool. This is pretty cool for breast cancer. Yeah.
- 25:10Speaker 5: It reads a breast cancer patient's MRI and predicts if
- 25:12Speaker 5: the cancer will return within five to 10 years.
- 25:15Speaker 6: That's incredible.
- 25:16Speaker 5: And no new tests or tissue samples would be needed.
- 25:18Speaker 2: But FDA approval.
- 25:20Speaker 3: It's one thing when these things come out and they go, oh,
- 25:22Speaker 3: we've seen some studies and we've done some things that
- 25:24Speaker 3: showed this, but it needs more testing. And then it
- 25:27Speaker 3: goes for approval. Like, It has FDA approval.
- 25:30Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 25:30Speaker 5: And they studied 2,100 patients. And the women that AI
- 25:34Speaker 5: flagged as high risk, sure enough, had 3.3 times the
- 25:37Speaker 5: recurrence risk of the low-risk group. So it looks like
- 25:40Speaker 5: that is working. So that's what's going on, Woody.
- 25:42Speaker 4: All right.
- 25:42Speaker 2: Thank you very much, Greg Gorey. You got it.
- 25:44Speaker 1: The Woody Show.
- 25:48Speaker 3: Yeah, the Halloween candy costs are up 71%.
- 25:50Speaker 2: Oh, God.
- 25:51Speaker 6: I haven't been looking at it.
- 25:53Speaker 3: In the last five years. And you're getting less. So
- 25:57Speaker 3: the short inflation thing, right? So Hershey's Dark Chocolate Assortment
- 26:01Speaker 3: Party Pack, that went from 29 ounces in 2019 to
- 26:05Speaker 3: 24 ounces today. But the price stayed the same.
- 26:10Speaker 9: Oh, sure.
- 26:10Speaker 3: So it's 17% less candy, but the price stayed the same.
- 26:15Speaker 3: The Reese's Miniature Party Pack lost about 11%. The M &
- 26:19Speaker 3: M' s Party Size, Greg, dropped four ounces, while the price... In.
- 26:25Speaker 2: That same time, jumped six bucks.
- 26:28Speaker 5: Yeah, the party-sized bag of M & Ms, if it's
- 26:32Speaker 5: not on sale, it's like 16 bucks, I think.
- 26:35Speaker 2: It's crazy.
- 26:36Speaker 6: It's not like premium Swiss chocolate.
- 26:39Speaker 2: Exactly.
- 26:39Speaker 3: Yeah, like the candy companies, they're just banking on the
- 26:41Speaker 3: fact that you're not going to check the weight. and
- 26:44Speaker 3: compare it to the cost and do all the.
- 26:45Speaker 2: Math and stuff like that. They were right.
- 26:48Speaker 7: I asked our good friend AI where's the best place
- 26:50Speaker 7: to get candy in bulk. It says Walmart, Sam's Club,
- 26:53Speaker 7: and Costco, but Sam's Club has the best price.
- 26:56Speaker 2: Is that right?
- 26:57Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 26:57Speaker 2: All right. Well, I mean, I hear from a lot
- 27:02Speaker 2: of people now, they say, we don't get any trick-or-treaters.
- 27:04Speaker 6: That's so sad.
- 27:05Speaker 2: That's me. What? Zero. Is it just your street? Yeah, well,
- 27:08Speaker 2: I live on such a steep hill.
- 27:10Speaker 6: I wouldn't climb for candy on that street.
- 27:12Speaker 2: That's true, yeah.
- 27:13Speaker 5: And the parents around my neighborhood, they'll drive their kids
- 27:16Speaker 5: to the flat streets.
- 27:18Speaker 3: Yeah, probably my neighborhood.
- 27:19Speaker 1: Yeah, exactly.
- 27:20Speaker 3: Because there's a ton.
- 27:20Speaker 2: It's all flat and there's a billion houses and there's
- 27:24Speaker 2: back-to-back streets, cul-de-sacs. Well, you said you got, what, hundreds
- 27:28Speaker 2: of kids?
- 27:28Speaker 3: My son keeps a counter because he wants to see
- 27:31Speaker 3: how many people come through and see his Halloween display
- 27:33Speaker 3: that he works so hard on.
- 27:34Speaker 2: Yeah. And it's over 600. That's mind-boggling.
- 27:37Speaker 6: And they're specifically coming for that, though.
- 27:40Speaker 1: No.
- 27:40Speaker 2: You don't think?
- 27:41Speaker 3: No, because they're just all kids on the streets. How
- 27:43Speaker 3: many people came up to get candy?
- 27:45Speaker 6: I know.
- 27:45Speaker 2: They're coming to get candy.
- 27:46Speaker 6: Yeah, but you think there's 600 kids going to random
- 27:50Speaker 6: houses that are just giving away crap?
- 27:51Speaker 7: You live in a community with thousands of people.
- 27:53Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 27:53Speaker 6: I guess.
- 27:54Speaker 3: And also, I do see big vans of kids just
- 27:58Speaker 3: being dropped off in our neighborhood because it is such
- 28:01Speaker 3: an easy neighborhood to hit a bunch of houses.
- 28:03Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 28:04Speaker 3: In one hour, you can, you know, do a lot
- 28:06Speaker 3: of damage, get a lot of candy.
- 28:07Speaker 7: Also, my neighborhood is like Halloween crazy. So all the
- 28:11Speaker 7: houses are super decked out. I assume yours is the same.
- 28:14Speaker 2: Yeah. So he has one of those little clickers. Yeah.
- 28:17Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 28:17Speaker 2: And then what does he do? Like a doorman.
- 28:19Speaker 5: What does he do with his data? Like, does he
- 28:20Speaker 5: compare year to year?
- 28:21Speaker 2: I mean, it's a good question. He is always thinking
- 28:24Speaker 2: about it. I think year round.
- 28:25Speaker 3: I mean, he's thinking about like what he could do.
- 28:27Speaker 3: He's got loaded into his laptop and he does it
- 28:30Speaker 3: to scale. So he creates the entire layout on his
- 28:33Speaker 3: laptop before he ever does it in person.
- 28:36Speaker 6: That's so great.
- 28:37Speaker 3: And he's putting the measurements and everything else with these
- 28:38Speaker 3: different things that he's getting. into the system so he
- 28:41Speaker 3: knows exactly how big this thing is.
- 28:43Speaker 6: Is he going to be an architect or something?
- 28:44Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 28:45Speaker 6: He's already drafting plans.
- 28:46Speaker 2: He's interested in business and marketing and things like that.
- 28:50Speaker 7: Yeah, does he check the data? to see, oh, we're
- 28:53Speaker 7: up this year.
- 28:54Speaker 2: Oh, we're down. Right. You got to do better in Q4, boys.
- 28:59Speaker 3: It keeps an eye on the weather.
- 29:01Speaker 2: He's like, oh, God.
- 29:02Speaker 3: Because that plays a factor.
- 29:06Speaker 7: Consider targeted ads to tell people to show up.
- 29:08Speaker 6: If he begged you one year to put a tent
- 29:10Speaker 6: over the front yard, would you do it?
- 29:12Speaker 2: No. I don't think I'd be allowed to. HOA, dude.
- 29:14Speaker 3: I don't think they'd allow it.
- 29:16Speaker 6: Those jerks.
- 29:17Speaker 3: I mean, maybe for one night.
- 29:19Speaker 2: Yeah, fine.
- 29:20Speaker 3: But there'd be no way to have that thing set
- 29:22Speaker 3: up and then be able to get it all ready
- 29:25Speaker 3: and deck it out in the amount of time that
- 29:27Speaker 3: I'd be allowed to have it up.
- 29:28Speaker 7: There's a house near the radio station that I saw.
- 29:30Speaker 7: They have a sign that has, like, coming soon, like,
- 29:34Speaker 7: haunted house kind of thing in their front yard.
- 29:36Speaker 2: Yeah, well, there's all places you can do it. Same
- 29:38Speaker 2: with Christmas.
- 29:39Speaker 3: Lights and decorations yeah you can go online you can
- 29:42Speaker 3: register your house.
- 29:43Speaker 6: Yeah part of the Halloween haunt yeah.
- 29:45Speaker 3: Which we don't allow oh.
- 29:47Speaker 2: You won't let them no yeah you don't get doxxed
- 29:50Speaker 2: I don't mention my kids names on the air they
- 29:53Speaker 2: don't ask to be really a part of things that way.
- 29:55Speaker 6: Well he gets plenty of visitors without the extra press.
- 29:58Speaker 2: Correct Yeah, correct. So what's, Greg, I know you hate
- 30:04Speaker 2: the math. Yeah.
- 30:07Speaker 3: But you think about like, oh, when you don't live
- 30:09Speaker 3: near your parents and you have to go travel to
- 30:10Speaker 3: see your parents, you start doing the math. How many
- 30:13Speaker 3: more visits will I have? Could I possibly, you know,
- 30:17Speaker 3: they all say like, oh, if you're. 50 years old,
- 30:20Speaker 3: you know, the average lifespan is, say, 72. You have
- 30:25Speaker 3: 22 more summers.
- 30:26Speaker 2: Right. He started doing that math.
- 30:27Speaker 3: Well, my wife got really upset the other day because
- 30:30Speaker 3: she did the math and she realized that after this year,
- 30:33Speaker 3: he's got one more Halloween to do this before he
- 30:36Speaker 3: goes off to college. And that's going to be the
- 30:38Speaker 3: end of that.
- 30:38Speaker 5: See, I'd be bouncing off the walls. I'd be so glad.
- 30:40Speaker 2: Oh, no.
- 30:41Speaker 5: If I had a kid, I would let them carve
- 30:43Speaker 5: a pumpkin and that's it.
- 30:45Speaker 2: Even that's a pain in the ass.
- 30:47Speaker 3: He's so into it.
- 30:48Speaker 2: Right.
- 30:48Speaker 3: And he's so passionate and loves it so much. It's like,
- 30:52Speaker 3: I don't think he realizes. Maybe he's not even thought
- 30:54Speaker 3: about it.
- 30:55Speaker 2: Yeah. Probably not. Because once I go off to college,
- 30:57Speaker 2: he'll be at college.
- 30:58Speaker 6: He won't fly home for it.
- 30:59Speaker 4: Yeah, I was going to say, you don't think he'll
- 31:00Speaker 4: come home and do it?
- 31:01Speaker 3: What do you mean come home and do it? Like,
- 31:02Speaker 3: he's looking to go to college across the country.
- 31:05Speaker 6: It's not like a fall break. it doesn't land in
- 31:08Speaker 6: anything and it could be on a Monday next year
- 31:11Speaker 6: or whatever yeah he'll be away at school he'll just
- 31:13Speaker 6: have to like sadly decorate his door I mean.
- 31:15Speaker 2: He'll have to wait till someday you know he gets
- 31:18Speaker 2: a place of his own and you know I do
- 31:20Speaker 2: have a question Greg with your family and maybe Woody
- 31:23Speaker 2: with yours are you guys big FaceTimers with your family
- 31:27Speaker 2: because I FaceTime all the time with family members so
- 31:30Speaker 2: I feel like You know, even though I don't physically
- 31:33Speaker 2: go visit them, I feel like I'm constantly in communication
- 31:36Speaker 2: with them and see them.
- 31:37Speaker 5: Funny you should ask. I just got my parents an
- 31:40Speaker 5: iPad so we could specifically FaceTime because sadly they have Androids.
- 31:46Speaker 5: And so I had to get them an iPad just
- 31:47Speaker 5: to FaceTime. And are they good at it?
- 31:50Speaker 2: No.
- 31:50Speaker 5: It's kind of mostly just the ceiling.
- 31:52Speaker 2: Shaky.
- 31:53Speaker 5: The side of my mom's face. You can see the
- 31:55Speaker 5: booger that's in her nose.
- 31:57Speaker 2: Pretty much.
- 31:57Speaker 3: Because it's just an angle right up her nose.
- 31:59Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 31:59Speaker 6: I mean, it might be too late because you already
- 32:01Speaker 6: spent the money, but you could also do it on Facebook.
- 32:04Speaker 6: I do that free with my mother-in-law.
- 32:05Speaker 2: They don't do that. Bridge too far.
- 32:08Speaker 3: Yeah, my parents don't have any social media either.
- 32:11Speaker 2: Oh, God, I wish. Zero.
- 32:12Speaker 1: Zero.
- 32:12Speaker 6: My parents are all, my mom's all over that.
- 32:14Speaker 2: Do you know what you can get?
- 32:16Speaker 7: Our friends at Belkin, they have this little device that
- 32:18Speaker 7: they could like, it has a magnet on it and
- 32:21Speaker 7: they can stick the iPad on there and it will
- 32:23Speaker 7: follow them.
- 32:24Speaker 3: What's that thing we bought in, Chrissy? What was that thing?
- 32:27Speaker 2: Do you remember? Oh, that was, it was made by Meta. Yeah.
- 32:31Speaker 2: It's similar to what I'm talking about. Yeah. Yeah. Same thing.
- 32:34Speaker 6: It'll track you around.
- 32:35Speaker 2: It follows you around. Yeah. Or at least your face.
- 32:38Speaker 3: Yeah, it doesn't move physically, but it sits there and
- 32:40Speaker 3: it traces and watches.
- 32:42Speaker 2: Yeah, so... They need that. You can sit the iPad
- 32:44Speaker 2: on it.
- 32:45Speaker 3: Right.
- 32:45Speaker 7: And then it will just follow them around while they're FaceTiming,
- 32:48Speaker 7: so you won't see the ceiling.
- 32:50Speaker 5: Then it would require a whole training session on.
- 32:53Speaker 2: How to set it up. No, it sticks right on there.
- 32:55Speaker 7: It's like a little battery-powered thing, and you're good.
- 32:57Speaker 2: All right. I'll consider that. I'll look it up for you. Yeah,
- 33:01Speaker 2: but then you.
- 33:01Speaker 3: Well, I guess you're already... You're already your parents' IT person?
- 33:05Speaker 2: Pretty much. Which is scary. Imagine Greg is your IT guy.
- 33:10Speaker 5: Oh, my God.
- 33:11Speaker 2: Talk about the blind leading the blind. There's no hope.
- 33:14Speaker 5: Oh, man. I've told my mom a trillion times, Gregory,
- 33:17Speaker 5: why does this not work? I said, you have an Android.
- 33:20Speaker 2: I don't know. I have no idea. I don't know
- 33:22Speaker 2: how many more times I can tell you that. What
- 33:23Speaker 2: you have, you wouldn't know. I don't know. 877-44-WOODY. Send
- 33:26Speaker 2: us a text over to 22987. More Woody shows next.
- 33:28Speaker 7: Bye.
- 33:34Speaker 2: I love America.
- 33:36Speaker 8: All right, ladies and gentlemen, we interrupt this broadcast of
- 33:46Speaker 8: Smashing Pumpkins 1979 to go.
- 33:49Speaker 2: To the phone. And I don't know who's on the phone,
- 33:52Speaker 2: but if you could please put them on hold. All right.
- 33:56Speaker 2: Somebody's just out in the hallway chopping it up. I
- 33:58Speaker 2: know who this is.
- 33:59Speaker 3: It's Jeff down in the lobby for Delivery Driver Appreciation Day.
- 34:03Speaker 2: Awesome.
- 34:04Speaker 8: All right.
- 34:04Speaker 3: Can somebody put the collar on hold?
- 34:08Speaker 2: There we go. Thank you very much, Jeff. Is this you? Yeah,
- 34:13Speaker 2: it's me.
- 34:13Speaker 9: Sorry about that.
- 34:14Speaker 2: No, it's not your fault. Somebody was what you got
- 34:17Speaker 2: somebody down there. You got the guy.
- 34:19Speaker 1: I do.
- 34:19Speaker 9: I got the guy down here and I'm, I invited
- 34:21Speaker 9: him up to win some free money. I told him
- 34:23Speaker 9: we have target gift cards, Amazon gift cards, all kinds
- 34:26Speaker 9: of stuff. I told him we were giving, it'll take
- 34:28Speaker 9: him three minutes. You got to just walk upstairs with me. Um,
- 34:31Speaker 9: and you'll get a free gift card. We've already given
- 34:33Speaker 9: away two this week and we want to just say
- 34:35Speaker 9: thank you to, uh, for, for you, for all.
- 34:37Speaker 2: Of your service. Yeah.
- 34:39Speaker 1: Okay.
- 34:39Speaker 2: Delivery drive. Oh, I heard.
- 34:41Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 34:41Speaker 2: Hurry up.
- 34:41Speaker 9: What do you think?
- 34:42Speaker 2: Yeah. He said, okay.
- 34:44Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 34:44Speaker 9: Appreciate it. He says no. He says no next time.
- 34:48Speaker 2: Next time. There is no next time. There is no
- 34:50Speaker 2: next time. This is a one in a lifetime opportunity.
- 34:53Speaker 1: This is it.
- 34:53Speaker 2: I got curved.
- 34:54Speaker 9: I got curved. Are you sure you don't want to
- 34:56Speaker 9: come up there?
- 34:57Speaker 4: All right.
- 34:57Speaker 9: Thank you. Appreciate it. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 35:00Speaker 2: Thank you. That's fine.
- 35:01Speaker 9: But you're Armenian?
- 35:01Speaker 1: Oh, okay.
- 35:02Speaker 2: I'd love to. What did he say?
- 35:07Speaker 6: Oh, you're Armenian?
- 35:08Speaker 9: Okay. He says he's Armenian and he loves Mexico, though,
- 35:12Speaker 9: but he doesn't want to come up.
- 35:13Speaker 2: Was that part of the requirement? Yeah.
- 35:15Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 35:22Speaker 2: I don't know, man.
- 35:22Speaker 9: Are you sure you don't want to come on the show?
- 35:24Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 35:25Speaker 9: It's free money.
- 35:26Speaker 2: It's fine, man.
- 35:26Speaker 6: Yeah, he's nice.
- 35:28Speaker 1: Come on.
- 35:28Speaker 6: He's coming up.
- 35:29Speaker 9: He's coming up.
- 35:30Speaker 1: Oh, yeah?
- 35:30Speaker 2: Oh, my God. Way to wear him down. Yeah, dude,
- 35:33Speaker 2: why not? Dude, take it. Next time. There is no
- 35:35Speaker 2: next time. All right, we'll see you. Come on up.
- 35:37Speaker 2: Hurry up.
- 35:39Speaker 3: All right, we'll rejoin. He's coming up the elevator now.
- 35:42Speaker 1: The Woody Show.
- 35:45Speaker 2: It's Driver Appreciation Week. Delivery Driver Appreciation Week.
- 35:49Speaker 3: Oh, that was fast. Yeah, Jeff was just downstairs with
- 35:53Speaker 3: the delivery guy.
- 35:53Speaker 2: Yeah. Where's the delivery from today, Menace? It is from McDonald's. McDonald's.
- 35:59Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 35:59Speaker 2: Oh, McDonald's.
- 36:00Speaker 10: Oh.
- 36:01Speaker 2: Yum. We're having some hesitation coming into the studio. There's
- 36:05Speaker 2: a wheel.
- 36:06Speaker 6: No, he was not interested.
- 36:07Speaker 1: No?
- 36:08Speaker 3: No.
- 36:09Speaker 6: Morgan's going after him.
- 36:10Speaker 2: He said, I have to speak. No, no, he doesn't
- 36:12Speaker 2: have to speak. I told him, he doesn't have to speak. No,
- 36:14Speaker 2: just spin. I told him, I told him. Let me
- 36:15Speaker 2: go try to get him. I tell you what, we
- 36:17Speaker 2: can spin it.
- 36:17Speaker 3: He can just stand there, and then we'll spin it
- 36:20Speaker 3: from the room.
- 36:21Speaker 6: Maybe he's undercover.
- 36:23Speaker 2: That's fine. We just want to give him the... He's like,
- 36:27Speaker 2: get me out of here. Who are these weirdos? I
- 36:30Speaker 2: get it, dude.
- 36:31Speaker 8: It's fine.
- 36:31Speaker 2: He's already in the elevator room. Really? Yeah, he's... Yeah.
- 36:37Speaker 2: How do we scare him? We said hi. Morgan flashed
- 36:40Speaker 2: him and everything. Oh, man. That didn't work?
- 36:43Speaker 9: Oh, man.
- 36:44Speaker 2: This ain't to catch a predator. I don't want a
- 36:46Speaker 2: gift card.
- 36:46Speaker 6: Yeah, he must be hiding something.
- 36:49Speaker 2: All right. I think his English wasn't the best, and
- 36:51Speaker 2: I think he got nervous.
- 36:53Speaker 6: Now I get that.
- 36:54Speaker 2: Well, no, it isn't the talk. We just want to
- 36:57Speaker 2: award a gift card. That's fine. You know what? We tried.
- 36:59Speaker 3: It happens. Free stuff is not for everybody. Do you
- 37:01Speaker 3: see the world that we've created, guys?
- 37:03Speaker 2: Everyone's scared. Yeah, everybody's freaked out. I think they're getting scammed.
- 37:08Speaker 2: I don't blame the guy. I mean, I feel bad.
- 37:10Speaker 2: I wanted to give him a gift card.
- 37:11Speaker 5: How often do you go to work and get invited
- 37:13Speaker 5: to a weird room to spin a wheel?
- 37:17Speaker 2: It's strange. Yeah, it's an odd thing. I still gave
- 37:19Speaker 2: him a good tip, though. Yeah, that's cool. Yeah, of course. Yeah,
- 37:22Speaker 2: it's not like, oh, well, if you're not going to
- 37:24Speaker 2: do that, we're not going to give you the tip now.
- 37:27Speaker 2: I blame Morgan. It's delivery driver appreciation week.
- 37:31Speaker 6: Yeah, Jeff comes across as pretty earnest. He doesn't seem scary.
- 37:34Speaker 2: I tried. I mean, you know. I don't think it
- 37:37Speaker 2: was personal. His English was pretty rough, so I did
- 37:40Speaker 2: my best. I mean, you know, he saw it's an actual, like, again,
- 37:44Speaker 2: it's not like Catch a Predator, like you mentioned, or
- 37:47Speaker 2: one of those, you have a warrant out. Well, Menace,
- 37:50Speaker 2: check the photo on your delivery app. Oh, okay. Because
- 37:53Speaker 2: if I'm a guy who's, let's say, bootlegging somebody else's app.
- 37:57Speaker 6: That's why he said he's hiding something.
- 37:58Speaker 2: Right.
- 37:59Speaker 5: Or account.
- 37:59Speaker 2: I don't want to be on camera. Well, I didn't
- 38:00Speaker 2: see what it looked like, so.
- 38:02Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 38:02Speaker 10: I can tell you if it was the same guy.
- 38:03Speaker 10: And he kept asking me why. He's all, why do
- 38:06Speaker 10: you want to do this? And I'm all, to be
- 38:08Speaker 10: nice because you have a really hard job. He doesn't
- 38:10Speaker 10: look like this guy though.
- 38:13Speaker 2: Nailed it.
- 38:14Speaker 6: Can I see the picture?
- 38:15Speaker 2: Yeah, whatever. That's a different dude. Hey, the McDonald's made it,
- 38:19Speaker 2: you know? That's all that matters. Will we do the
- 38:22Speaker 2: right thing and report the account for fraudulent activity? No.
- 38:25Speaker 2: We don't need a snitch. Did you see the guy? Oh,
- 38:27Speaker 2: I didn't just play audio recently of a sex predator
- 38:29Speaker 2: who's using someone's DoorDash account to then pick up kids. No,
- 38:32Speaker 2: I'm not doing that. Yeah, we don't want to get
- 38:34Speaker 2: those people off the street. God forbid.
- 38:37Speaker 7: Are we changing this into a different segment?
- 38:40Speaker 2: Yeah. We literally played audio.
- 38:42Speaker 6: To catch a delivery driver.
- 38:43Speaker 2: Where'd that happen? It's not unheard of. That's your new segment, Seabass.
- 38:48Speaker 2: That's why they don't come up here. Yeah, you could
- 38:50Speaker 2: be the Chris Hansen of delivery apps.
- 38:54Speaker 6: Christy Banson.
- 38:55Speaker 2: This picture doesn't look like you, Michael. There you go, Seabass.
- 38:59Speaker 2: There's your next bit, dude.
- 39:01Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 39:01Speaker 2: Oh, you're just going after sex predators. They're just trying
- 39:05Speaker 2: to make a living. Well, he didn't try to bang Jeff. Well,
- 39:08Speaker 2: because he knew that when there's 15 people in a room,
- 39:10Speaker 2: he's not going to do it.
- 39:13Speaker 3: Look, he did what he was supposed to do, right? Like,
- 39:15Speaker 3: we ordered McDonald's.
- 39:17Speaker 2: McDonald's arrived. It's sitting on the feeding table. What he's
- 39:20Speaker 2: supposed to do is not be using someone else's account fraudulently. Well,
- 39:22Speaker 2: do you know what?
- 39:24Speaker 7: To be fair, the account that I order from says
- 39:27Speaker 7: Salvador because it's my brother-in-law's.
- 39:29Speaker 2: Oh, okay.
- 39:30Speaker 7: Wait look yeah because he has a dash pass dude
- 39:34Speaker 7: and i get a discount on delivery.
- 39:36Speaker 2: Okay wow of all people menace dude everybody's got a
- 39:39Speaker 2: scam going yeah right sharing passwords shout out to dash
- 39:43Speaker 2: pass dude shout out yeah uh, somebody said he's probably
- 39:46Speaker 2: undocumented and in the country illegally.
- 39:48Speaker 3: Uh, let the guy leave.
- 39:49Speaker 2: He did. We did. Yes. Hey, anybody listening right now?
- 39:54Speaker 2: Let me be very clear. All we wanted to do
- 39:57Speaker 2: was give the guy a gift card. That's it. Yeah. Dicks.
- 40:02Speaker 2: And these, I did go out with my own money
- 40:04Speaker 2: and purchase.
- 40:04Speaker 6: That was really nice.
- 40:06Speaker 2: I went out to the store.
- 40:08Speaker 3: I picked them out. I purchased them, again, with my
- 40:11Speaker 3: own money. We did it last year.
- 40:14Speaker 2: We enjoyed it.
- 40:14Speaker 3: It's Menace's birthday month. We're getting a lot of food deliveries.
- 40:17Speaker 3: I'm like, you know, this is a good time for...
- 40:20Speaker 3: Delivery Driver Appreciation Week. The only thing here, this is
- 40:24Speaker 3: not any kind of test. We're not going to see, oh,
- 40:26Speaker 3: do they match the profile? We're not doing any of that.
- 40:29Speaker 2: Morgan's not holding them. No, no one's holding anybody. We
- 40:32Speaker 2: just gave them an awesome tip and said thank you.
- 40:35Speaker 2: I was trying to give them a gift card on
- 40:37Speaker 2: top of that. That's the only thing happening here. So
- 40:41Speaker 2: before you start sending me your texts and reading into
- 40:43Speaker 2: what's going on, that's it. I can promise you that's it.
- 40:46Speaker 6: And we have a track record to prove it.
- 40:47Speaker 3: And I do believe what I just said is it's
- 40:50Speaker 3: a shame that, you know, this is the world that
- 40:53Speaker 3: we have created.
- 40:55Speaker 2: We've created a world where everybody thinks everything is a setup.
- 40:57Speaker 2: Anything nice is suspicious. And here it is.
- 40:59Speaker 3: It has nothing but pure... intention and purpose and like
- 41:04Speaker 3: there's just nothing but good vibes and good intent behind
- 41:09Speaker 3: it yeah good vibes only.
- 41:10Speaker 2: Yeah well the epic man shows up to your door
- 41:11Speaker 2: with a giant check and balloons and you're like wait
- 41:14Speaker 2: am I getting stung I didn't talk.
- 41:16Speaker 10: To no kids get out of here it was because
- 41:19Speaker 10: his English wasn't great I know that he was trying
- 41:22Speaker 10: to talk to me.
- 41:22Speaker 2: About his jersey and stuff that happened before when we did.
- 41:24Speaker 3: This yeah that's alright Well, we got McDonald's out of
- 41:27Speaker 3: it anyway.
- 41:28Speaker 9: Oh, yeah.
- 41:28Speaker 2: We're good. It's right there in the corner. In the
- 41:31Speaker 2: feeding table.
- 41:32Speaker 3: Happy birthday, Month Menace.
- 41:33Speaker 2: Thank you. All right.
- 41:35Speaker 3: 877-44-Woody. You can send us a text. Check in over
- 41:38Speaker 3: to 22987. We'll take a quick break.
- 41:41Speaker 2: We'll come back. And then Woody Show weakest link. Let's
- 41:45Speaker 2: do it. It's been a minute.
- 41:47Speaker 3: Greg's got the hosting duties today. We'll see if we
- 41:50Speaker 3: can earn yet another meal.
- 41:51Speaker 2: Uh-huh.
- 41:53Speaker 3: So we'll earn some more food deliveries. Maybe that person
- 41:56Speaker 3: will take the.
- 41:58Speaker 2: Gift card.
- 41:59Speaker 7: Oh, I just got a message from the delivery driver.
- 42:01Speaker 7: He said, I appreciate it. Have a good day.
- 42:03Speaker 2: See, there you go. Signed, Samantha. Usually this ends up
- 42:12Speaker 2: in some kind of arguments. I like how you say usually.
- 42:17Speaker 1: Usually.
- 42:18Speaker 6: Always.
- 42:19Speaker 2: Sometimes. Most of the time. Statistically, it's not always. It's
- 42:26Speaker 2: most of the time. Perceptually, it is.
- 42:29Speaker 3: So even now, this is an argument.
- 42:30Speaker 4: It's always.
- 42:32Speaker 2: So I guess this.
- 42:33Speaker 3: One, yes, already.
- 42:33Speaker 2: We haven't even gotten to the contest.
- 42:35Speaker 3: But ladies and gentlemen, Woody Show weakest link. So this
- 42:39Speaker 3: is one you can just kind of play along with
- 42:41Speaker 3: wherever you are. But we are trying here in the
- 42:43Speaker 3: room because if we get to eight questions correct in
- 42:48Speaker 3: the time allowed... Greg will be getting us a meal.
- 42:52Speaker 2: I will.
- 42:53Speaker 3: He'll have to pony up a meal. All right, so
- 42:57Speaker 3: that's what's on. It's just like the TV show Weakest Link.
- 43:01Speaker 2: We go around.
- 43:01Speaker 3: It's one minute on the clock, and we have to
- 43:03Speaker 3: try to get eight questions correct. In that one minute
- 43:08Speaker 3: time period. Can we do it? Chance is not great.
- 43:12Speaker 3: But let's see how it goes.
- 43:14Speaker 2: Who's going to go? What are you doing, Menace? I'm
- 43:15Speaker 2: just meditating. Opening the brain chamber.
- 43:19Speaker 3: It looked like all of a sudden he had an
- 43:21Speaker 3: ice cream headache.
- 43:22Speaker 2: He had both his hands on his head. Yeah, you
- 43:24Speaker 2: pressed the knowledge into your temples. Or maybe he felt
- 43:26Speaker 2: like he was going to pass out or something. It
- 43:28Speaker 2: looked like something was going on. Increased blood flow.
- 43:30Speaker 3: Maybe a medical emergency.
- 43:32Speaker 2: My mom always told me you should chew gum before
- 43:34Speaker 2: you take standardized tests because it increased blood flow to
- 43:36Speaker 2: your brain. Is that right? I don't think that's true.
- 43:38Speaker 6: Stand on your head.
- 43:39Speaker 3: That probably works as well as that sleeve that Menace
- 43:41Speaker 3: had at one point.
- 43:42Speaker 2: That increased the blood flow. Did it. To what? I crushed. Yeah.
- 43:46Speaker 3: Then there was some NFL player who was just going
- 43:48Speaker 3: on a rant because he got suckered by one of
- 43:50Speaker 3: those bracelets.
- 43:51Speaker 2: Oh, those. Yeah.
- 43:52Speaker 3: It looked like a kind of like a black bracelet
- 43:54Speaker 3: that had like a little silver disc in it or something.
- 43:56Speaker 2: It's going to save him. Yeah. Is it good for
- 43:58Speaker 2: your balance? It shouldn't be legal. For your teeth. Yeah.
- 44:02Speaker 5: You know.
- 44:02Speaker 3: But it doesn't stop people from buying them and trying them, right?
- 44:05Speaker 8: Mm-hmm.
- 44:06Speaker 2: Somebody made the money.
- 44:07Speaker 3: You dip in. You make your money.
- 44:08Speaker 2: You dip out.
- 44:09Speaker 6: That's right.
- 44:10Speaker 3: Before people even realize that there's no real benefit to it.
- 44:14Speaker 2: Scam and scram.
- 44:15Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 44:15Speaker 3: But just from the outside, though, can you see, like—
- 44:18Speaker 3: the thing that you put on your head where the
- 44:19Speaker 3: light flashes?
- 44:21Speaker 2: The mask?
- 44:22Speaker 3: What about that makes you think that that's going to
- 44:23Speaker 3: regrow hair?
- 44:24Speaker 2: Oh, yeah.
- 44:25Speaker 3: How would a red flashing light hitting your scalp regrow hair?
- 44:29Speaker 3: Explain that to me.
- 44:30Speaker 6: Well, isn't there some validity to red light therapy, just
- 44:34Speaker 6: not the ones you buy at the store.
- 44:35Speaker 2: Very very very limited but yes i can't you can't
- 44:40Speaker 2: say well it's nothing or like the brett farve uh
- 44:43Speaker 2: old copper whatever the hell it was listen to those
- 44:46Speaker 2: commercials and listen to how specific they are with the language.
- 44:48Speaker 3: Yeah but i'm saying like you you see it though
- 44:50Speaker 3: i'm saying just an average person like myself i see
- 44:52Speaker 3: it and i'm a dumb person and i see it
- 44:55Speaker 3: and i go all right so by wearing this thing
- 44:57Speaker 3: that has copper in it around my wrist it's it's
- 45:00Speaker 3: going to make me like, all of a sudden I'm
- 45:01Speaker 3: having this great balance or this.
- 45:03Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 45:03Speaker 5: Because without it, you're just falling down all the time.
- 45:05Speaker 2: Yeah. You can't stand up. How and why? Like, so, well,
- 45:08Speaker 2: this is what I do. This is why I say the,
- 45:11Speaker 2: when you guys say, I don't, I don't care about
- 45:13Speaker 2: chemistry and biology and physics. So if the kids don't
- 45:15Speaker 2: care about it, don't teach it to them in school. No,
- 45:17Speaker 2: you got to give some base level of knowledge or
- 45:19Speaker 2: else people are going to fall for this garbage all
- 45:20Speaker 2: their lives.
- 45:21Speaker 3: Well, I didn't pay any attention to that stuff and
- 45:22Speaker 3: I'm still not falling for it. I'm not falling for it.
- 45:25Speaker 6: Good street smart.
- 45:26Speaker 2: Like I'm saying, the one he got, Barb did say
- 45:30Speaker 2: it's cool, and look what he got, like MS or something. Yeah,
- 45:34Speaker 2: he's in bad shape. We probably gave it to him.
- 45:35Speaker 3: What do you show weakest link?
- 45:36Speaker 2: Greg, are you ready? I'm ready. Who would like to
- 45:38Speaker 2: go first? I'm going to the weakest link. You know what?
- 45:41Speaker 2: For fun, I don't think we've ever started with Sammy. Oh, okay.
- 45:46Speaker 3: We'll start with Sammy, and it goes around clockwise here.
- 45:49Speaker 2: Greg, are you ready? I am ready. Round number one,
- 45:52Speaker 2: what do you show weakest link?
- 45:54Speaker 5: Sammy, who was convicted for the assassination of Robert F.
- 45:57Speaker 8: Kennedy?
- 45:58Speaker 4: Oh, leave Harvey Oswald.
- 46:00Speaker 5: Sirhan Sirhan. Menace, in Morse code, how many dots does
- 46:03Speaker 5: it take to send the letter S?
- 46:06Speaker 2: Two. Three.
- 46:07Speaker 5: Gina, what is the state bird of Florida? Is it
- 46:09Speaker 5: the flamingo or the mockingbird?
- 46:11Speaker 6: Mockingbird.
- 46:11Speaker 2: Correct.
- 46:12Speaker 5: Woody, which inventor was known as the Wizard of Menlo Park?
- 46:16Speaker 2: Einstein.
- 46:17Speaker 5: Thomas Edison. Seabass, the Puerto Rican pop star Enrique Jose
- 46:22Speaker 5: Martin Morales performs under what name?
- 46:24Speaker 2: Enrique Iglesias. Ricky Martin.
- 46:26Speaker 5: Sammy, what brand of cognac does SNL's ladies' man always
- 46:29Speaker 5: have on hand?
- 46:31Speaker 2: Wild turkey. Quavassier.
- 46:33Speaker 5: Menace, the Latin phrase, veni, vidi, vici, translates to I came,
- 46:37Speaker 5: I saw, I what?
- 46:39Speaker 2: Lived. Conquered.
- 46:40Speaker 5: Gina, in art, what S-word is the movement most associated
- 46:43Speaker 5: with the painter Salvador Dali?
- 46:46Speaker 6: Surrealism.
- 46:47Speaker 2: Correct.
- 46:47Speaker 5: Woody, in fashion, what F-word is a red, brimless hat
- 46:50Speaker 5: named after a city in Morocco?
- 46:52Speaker 2: Fedora? Fez. Fez? Well, I will give Gina credit. She's
- 46:57Speaker 2: the only one who got any right.
- 46:59Speaker 6: Yeah, I got both mine right.
- 47:00Speaker 2: That being said, those have to be from that Weakest
- 47:02Speaker 2: Link book I gave you, because who the hell's watching
- 47:04Speaker 2: Tim Meadows sketches in this day and age?
- 47:06Speaker 5: Some are from the book, and some are from the
- 47:08Speaker 5: latest season of Celebrity Weakest Link.
- 47:12Speaker 2: That being said, those are all gettable. The only one
- 47:14Speaker 2: that was totally out of the wild guess was the
- 47:18Speaker 2: Morse code one. I'm only giving Gina credit.
- 47:21Speaker 3: Partial credit.
- 47:22Speaker 6: Because I had multiple choices.
- 47:23Speaker 2: She had multiple choices. It was an either or.
- 47:25Speaker 6: And it had to be the less obvious.
- 47:26Speaker 2: It had to be like a trick one. I'm not
- 47:29Speaker 2: saying I would have gotten that one right either.
- 47:31Speaker 6: But I was like, it's Sirhan Sirhan and also how
- 47:33Speaker 6: do I know that? That's the kind of random stuff
- 47:36Speaker 6: stuck in my brain.
- 47:37Speaker 2: The same reason I do because it's a hilarious name.
- 47:39Speaker 2: We came, we saw, we kicked their ass. Bill Murray, Ghostbusters.
- 47:42Speaker 1: Nice.
- 47:43Speaker 2: That's the only reference I got there. We came, we saw,
- 47:46Speaker 2: we kicked their ass. Either Latin or ancient history. Did
- 47:48Speaker 2: you get it? Or movies.
- 47:51Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 47:52Speaker 2: All right.
- 47:55Speaker 3: I mean, we were all pretty terrible.
- 47:56Speaker 2: Yeah. Somebody's got to go. Gina, you're the only one
- 47:59Speaker 2: who got one right. You get to vote first.
- 48:02Speaker 6: I know you want me to vote for you, Woody,
- 48:04Speaker 6: but let's keep you in. How about, I don't know, Sammy,
- 48:08Speaker 6: you want to sit out?
- 48:10Speaker 2: I guess.
- 48:10Speaker 6: I don't know.
- 48:11Speaker 1: All right.
- 48:11Speaker 3: So it's a vote for Sammy. Sammy, who are you
- 48:12Speaker 3: voting for?
- 48:13Speaker 6: I'll vote for you, Woody.
- 48:14Speaker 2: All right. Thank you. Let's go. Sorry, Sammy. Sammy, another vote.
- 48:22Speaker 4: Oh.
- 48:22Speaker 2: Well, I'll tie it if I go with Woody. I
- 48:25Speaker 2: do want him to leave because he wants to leave.
- 48:27Speaker 2: But he always does that. So I'll go with Sammy
- 48:30Speaker 2: just to make it easy. You are the weakest link. Goodbye.
- 48:32Speaker 2: All right, so Sammy's out. I think I had the
- 48:36Speaker 2: last question, right? So let's start with Seabass.
- 48:38Speaker 9: Okay.
- 48:38Speaker 3: Because I said Fedora and it was Fedora.
- 48:43Speaker 2: So we'll start with Seabass.
- 48:44Speaker 5: Seabass.
- 48:45Speaker 2: All right. Round number two. What do you show weakest link? Seabass.
- 48:48Speaker 5: What is the automaker that manufactures the TT Roadster?
- 48:52Speaker 6: Jesus.
- 48:53Speaker 9: Ford.

- 49:04Speaker 6: Sausage.
- 49:05Speaker 2: Fish.
- 49:05Speaker 5: Woody, what medical condition is characterized by sudden and uncontrollable
- 49:09Speaker 5: attacks of deep sleep?

- 49:20Speaker 2: Correct. Menace.
- 49:21Speaker 5: From the Persian word for waistband, what's the pleated sash
- 49:24Speaker 5: worn for a dinner jacket or a tuxedo?
- 49:27Speaker 2: Doily. Cumberbatch.
- 49:29Speaker 5: Gina, which serial killer known as the Killer Clown.
- 49:32Speaker 6: Was executed in 19... John Wayne Gacy.
- 49:34Speaker 2: Correct. Woody.
- 49:35Speaker 5: According to legend... What was the name of Paul Bunyan's
- 49:37Speaker 5: gigantic blue ox?
- 49:39Speaker 2: The axe. Beige. Seabass.
- 49:41Speaker 5: First and last name. What San Francisco merchant started selling
- 49:44Speaker 5: his clothing line by selling pants made from tent canvas?

- 49:48Speaker 2: Correct. All right. Well, Seabass ruled that round. Where is he? Seabass.
- 49:54Speaker 2: There is a guy.
- 49:54Speaker 3: I'm not sure this is the same guy, but it
- 49:57Speaker 3: must be. Every time we play this game, this person
- 50:00Speaker 3: keeps track of everything.
- 50:02Speaker 2: Okay.
- 50:03Speaker 3: Fun fact, for the duration of Woody's show Weakest Link,
- 50:06Speaker 3: Seabass has answered 77.69 questions correctly.
- 50:08Speaker 2: The worst is Woody at 47.89. Little fun fact.
- 50:09Speaker 4: Oh, wow.
- 50:17Speaker 2: Cool. Can you send us that spreadsheet?
- 50:19Speaker 3: Because for a long time, there was somebody keeping track
- 50:23Speaker 3: of all the DUIQ.
- 50:24Speaker 2: Yeah, I appreciate that.
- 50:25Speaker 6: Do you remember that?
- 50:26Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 50:27Speaker 3: Yeah, that person.
- 50:27Speaker 6: Really nice.
- 50:28Speaker 2: Yeah. Well, I think. Come on, guys. I know we
- 50:30Speaker 2: gave Woody a pass last time. Please. He is 0
- 50:32Speaker 2: for 4 so far. Thank you. Thank you. All right.
- 50:36Speaker 2: And as the person who asked. Yeah, I got to
- 50:37Speaker 2: pick Woody. Gina. All right. You are the weakest link.
- 50:40Speaker 7: Goodbye.
- 50:41Speaker 2: Now, so is Menace. All right. Okay. So we ended with... Me.
- 50:50Speaker 2: So we start with Menace.
- 50:51Speaker 8: All right.
- 50:52Speaker 2: Let's go. Let's go. All right. This is it. Round
- 50:59Speaker 2: number three. What do you show weakest link?

- 52:06Speaker 2: White smoke. Look at that!
- 52:07Speaker 6: Oh, I'm so humiliated.
- 52:09Speaker 2: Menace coming from behind with the most correct answers in
- 52:12Speaker 2: the round, I think, probably ever. Wow. This has to
- 52:15Speaker 2: be a world record. Nah, I've gotten like three once,
- 52:18Speaker 2: I think.
- 52:18Speaker 6: And when you said Farfalla or whatever it was, I
- 52:20Speaker 6: thought it was Bowtie, and I couldn't think of anything else.
- 52:24Speaker 2: So how many was that? So that was a total
- 52:26Speaker 2: of almost three. No, exactly three, actually. Not quite eight.
- 52:31Speaker 6: I choked so hard.
- 52:32Speaker 2: Total correct answers was three?
- 52:34Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 52:34Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 52:35Speaker 2: Now, if you want a fun fact, Total Incorrect Answers
- 52:37Speaker 2: was also a three by Gina.
- 52:39Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 52:39Speaker 2: Who got zero correct.
- 52:40Speaker 6: I choked hard.
- 52:41Speaker 2: Yeah. Therefore, Menace, I'm sorry, but Gina has to go.
- 52:44Speaker 6: I'm happy to go. I don't deserve to be in.
- 52:46Speaker 2: That was it. That was the final round.
- 52:48Speaker 6: Sit out next time.
- 52:49Speaker 3: We did not accomplish the goal. Well, at least of
- 52:53Speaker 3: getting a meal out of Greg.
- 52:54Speaker 2: Yeah. Greg, you could crack that bag of McDonald's open.
- 52:57Speaker 2: I could.
- 52:57Speaker 3: I think it's why Greg, this is actually kind of
- 53:00Speaker 3: brilliant by Greg. Greg doesn't want to buy a meal
- 53:02Speaker 3: for anybody. That's why he offers to host, because he
- 53:06Speaker 3: knows we're never the chance.
- 53:09Speaker 2: I was assigned. I was assigned. Some of those questions
- 53:11Speaker 2: are bad laws, though. They do be.
- 53:14Speaker 5: See, this happens every time. And you said, sometimes it
- 53:16Speaker 5: leads to an argument. No, 100% of the time, you
- 53:20Speaker 5: guys blame the questions. Then we get an.
- 53:22Speaker 2: Official book, or I watch the official show.
- 53:24Speaker 7: I am out.
- 53:25Speaker 5: 48,000 times faster than Jane Lynch, who reads at a
- 53:31Speaker 5: snail's pace.
- 53:32Speaker 2: Okay.
- 53:33Speaker 5: Stop blaming the questions.
- 53:34Speaker 2: I will say this, Greg.
- 53:34Speaker 5: Stop blaming my speed. Greg, Greg, Greg, I'm on your.
- 53:37Speaker 2: Side, baby, sweetheart. Greg, to his credit, read 10 whole questions,
- 53:42Speaker 2: and if we had gotten eight out of 10, we
- 53:44Speaker 2: would have won. Eight is a lot. I'm not putting
- 53:46Speaker 2: the blame on Greg. You're saying it's by design. I
- 53:49Speaker 2: didn't ask to host. Are you psyched about not having
- 53:52Speaker 2: to buy a meal? I mean, I'm happy to buy
- 53:54Speaker 2: a meal. You are? Of course.
- 53:58Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 53:59Speaker 2: Okay.
- 54:00Speaker 3: I'm saying, because I was thinking it's more like.
- 54:02Speaker 2: Now I feel like Gina when you say, is this
- 54:03Speaker 2: the Twilight Zone?
- 54:04Speaker 6: I know. Trust me. I've been in this black hole before.
- 54:07Speaker 2: No, I can't buy a meal. What? We did have
- 54:10Speaker 2: to pull a teeth for the last one.
- 54:11Speaker 3: You would prefer not to buy a meal for everybody
- 54:14Speaker 3: on the show.
- 54:15Speaker 5: The only thing that stresses me out about the meal
- 54:17Speaker 5: is the delivery part of it, which is why the
- 54:19Speaker 5: last time I had Menace do it, and then I
- 54:21Speaker 5: zelled him.
- 54:21Speaker 2: So I'm thinking like, okay, by hosting... Right.
- 54:24Speaker 3: It's kind of like the guy who runs the carnival
- 54:25Speaker 3: game with the put the basketball in the hoop. It's
- 54:28Speaker 3: kind of oval shape.
- 54:29Speaker 2: Extra rubbery. Right.
- 54:31Speaker 3: The balls are overinflated. The rim's a little bit, you know,
- 54:34Speaker 3: like modified a bit. And so the chances is I'm
- 54:38Speaker 3: not that it's it's it's not it's not impossible, but
- 54:42Speaker 3: the the odds are not in your favor.
- 54:44Speaker 6: We just got to get smarter.
- 54:45Speaker 2: You know, I blame. Yeah, right.
- 54:47Speaker 3: We should get these right because these are questions from
- 54:50Speaker 3: the actual show.
- 54:51Speaker 2: The only one that was out of bounds there was
- 54:53Speaker 2: the Marvin Hagler one. I remember he was in an
- 54:56Speaker 2: episode of Punky Brewster. I would have gotten that one.
- 54:58Speaker 6: I just think of True Beverly Hills.
- 55:01Speaker 7: I saw this new IQ shot that you can take,
- 55:04Speaker 7: so you can.
- 55:05Speaker 2: Do that next time. Is it a peptide?
- 55:06Speaker 3: You'll get cancer, but you're going to be really smart
- 55:09Speaker 3: for that last little phase of your life.
- 55:10Speaker 2: You can get it at CVS. Oh, that's legit. Wow,
- 55:15Speaker 2: now I feel like an idiot. Asking me all these
- 55:18Speaker 2: questions when I'm f * * * ing hammered. And
- 55:25Speaker 2: some people are just working smarter, man. Smarter, not harder, right? Oh, yeah.
- 55:30Speaker 2: Isn't that the goal? That's what they say. I was
- 55:32Speaker 2: just thinking that the other day. Efficiency.
- 55:36Speaker 3: Smarter, not harder.
- 55:37Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 55:37Speaker 2: Like some people, you make things way more difficult. I
- 55:40Speaker 2: still love that meme where you see it's like one
- 55:43Speaker 2: guy's got the level out and he's measuring things.
- 55:45Speaker 3: He's trying to build the perfect ladder. The other person's
- 55:48Speaker 3: just kind of throwing something together. the rungs are all
- 55:51Speaker 3: uneven and who is making more progress. That guy with
- 55:53Speaker 3: the sloppy life. It's not slightly great, but it's.
- 55:56Speaker 5: Very, but like, you know, I can't remember the caption
- 55:58Speaker 5: of that.
- 55:58Speaker 2: I mean, working smarter, just the photo. Yeah.
- 56:01Speaker 3: Like, like, um, like, uh, action beats perfection.
- 56:04Speaker 2: There you go.
- 56:05Speaker 3: Something, something, something like that.
- 56:06Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 56:07Speaker 3: But just to, just in general, man.
- 56:09Speaker 2: Can I share one?
- 56:10Speaker 7: The one that I was thinking about the other day,
- 56:12Speaker 7: there's these, uh, girls, they have a podcast called giggly squad.
- 56:15Speaker 2: We've mentioned it before.
- 56:16Speaker 7: There, there were the ones that, uh, They just were
- 56:19Speaker 7: on Forbes for like top podcasts. So they record two
- 56:23Speaker 7: days a week for like an hour. And they kind
- 56:25Speaker 7: of just like recap, like, you know, cultural events that
- 56:28Speaker 7: they just recently went to. And then they just talk about,
- 56:31Speaker 7: you know, just random stuff. They just signed a hundred
- 56:34Speaker 7: million dollar deal the other day. And they just sold
- 56:37Speaker 7: out two nights at Madison Square Garden for people to
- 56:40Speaker 7: just go watch them do their podcasts.
- 56:42Speaker 3: To watch the podcast?
- 56:43Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 56:45Speaker 7: And in their video, a lot of people do elaborate
- 56:49Speaker 7: productions of their video. It's just them on Zoom just
- 56:52Speaker 7: chatting it up.
- 56:53Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 56:53Speaker 3: Now, keep in mind, not everybody can do everything, right?
- 56:56Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 56:56Speaker 3: Just because- you see somebody who's an influencer doesn't mean
- 56:59Speaker 3: all of a sudden you just go on YouTube.
- 57:01Speaker 2: And go to Target and we're going to buy everything
- 57:04Speaker 2: that's purple.
- 57:05Speaker 3: And you're going to be able to support yourself and
- 57:07Speaker 3: your family and go on vacation doing this. Not everybody
- 57:11Speaker 3: can start a podcast and have it where people will
- 57:13Speaker 3: pay to go watch you do your stupid podcast.
- 57:17Speaker 2: It's awesome.
- 57:18Speaker 3: Not every radio show ends up being a syndicated show
- 57:22Speaker 3: or whatever. There's a thousand different examples. But, man, just
- 57:27Speaker 3: in general, there is something to action over perfection. There
- 57:32Speaker 3: is something to working smarter, not harder.
- 57:36Speaker 1: Sure.
- 57:36Speaker 2: I was just reading about there was a woman in Dallas.
- 57:39Speaker 3: Her name is Heather Torres.
- 57:42Speaker 2: And she was.
- 57:43Speaker 3: Like putting pumpkins and stuff on her own front steps
- 57:46Speaker 3: of her house, you know, for years. And the neighbors
- 57:49Speaker 3: are always like, oh, my God, that looks so great.
- 57:52Speaker 3: I was thinking about you, Sammy. Okay, because you like
- 57:54Speaker 3: all this Christmas stuff and things.
- 57:56Speaker 2: Like that, right?
- 57:56Speaker 4: Yeah, and I saw her, yeah.
- 57:59Speaker 3: And you do like a good project.
- 58:00Speaker 5: And Sammy has like 72 pumpkins.
- 58:02Speaker 6: I do, yes.
- 58:03Speaker 4: I have a lot of pumpkins.
- 58:04Speaker 2: Right.
- 58:04Speaker 3: So neighbors kept asking this woman, hey, can you do
- 58:08Speaker 3: my front porch like this? And so she launched a company,
- 58:12Speaker 3: Porch Pumpkins.
- 58:13Speaker 1: Oh, nice.
- 58:15Speaker 2: She launched this in 2020. Wow.
- 58:17Speaker 3: She finished that first season with about 250 homes. Damn!
- 58:23Speaker 3: And the packages run anywhere from $ 325 to over $ 1, 000.
- 58:24Speaker 2: Stop it.
- 58:25Speaker 3: I thought it was going to be like $ 100.
- 58:28Speaker 2: The orders open in July, and they sell out quick.
- 58:34Speaker 3: And now she's clearing, like after all expenses, all the
- 58:37Speaker 3: other things, she's obviously got some people to help her out.
- 58:39Speaker 3: She's clearing well over $ 100, 000 a year, and that's only
- 58:43Speaker 3: for a few months of work.
- 58:45Speaker 2: God bless. Good for her. That's it.
- 58:47Speaker 1: Rip.
- 58:47Speaker 4: You know what, Gina, to your point of thinking it
- 58:49Speaker 4: was only going to be $ 100, is the pumpkins themselves
- 58:53Speaker 4: and the arrangements that she does, she has other flowers
- 58:55Speaker 4: and stuff around it in the whole display. That's expensive
- 58:58Speaker 4: on its own.
- 58:59Speaker 5: Okay, so I have to ask the obvious question. Can't you,
- 59:02Speaker 5: if you're her neighbor, can't you just see that and
- 59:06Speaker 5: replicate it?
- 59:06Speaker 2: No.
- 59:07Speaker 6: You can't?
- 59:08Speaker 4: No, not everybody can. Not everybody knows where to look
- 59:11Speaker 4: for the different types of pumpkins as well. And it
- 59:13Speaker 4: is a whole thing. You have to have a car
- 59:14Speaker 4: to be able to get them all into, be willing
- 59:17Speaker 4: to put those in your car. Some people don't want
- 59:19Speaker 4: their car full of pumpkins.
- 59:20Speaker 5: Wait, Woody, are you being sarcastic when you said no?
- 59:22Speaker 5: You can't just replicate that?
- 59:24Speaker 9: No.
- 59:24Speaker 2: I mean, you could, but do you want to?
- 59:26Speaker 6: Right.
- 59:26Speaker 2: Well, if you have the money to do it, that's
- 59:29Speaker 2: part of it. The effort, yeah. That's part of it.
- 59:31Speaker 2: But it's like when you watch something... On HGTV, I'm
- 59:35Speaker 2: trying to think.
- 59:36Speaker 3: Of an example that will work.
- 59:37Speaker 6: You'd understand.
- 59:38Speaker 2: Yeah. Like you watch.
- 59:39Speaker 3: Something on HGTV and you're like, oh, and you see
- 59:43Speaker 3: the decor, right? It's not about the framing of the
- 59:46Speaker 3: walls or the laying of the tile. And you go, oh,
- 59:49Speaker 3: I can make my pantry look like this. It's not,
- 59:53Speaker 3: when you're not doing it all the time.
- 59:54Speaker 2: Yeah, but.
- 59:55Speaker 5: Because you're just putting pumpkins.
- 59:56Speaker 2: On the ground. Well. It's not just putting.
- 59:58Speaker 6: It's not.
- 59:59Speaker 4: Woody's correct. And Greg, maybe for you.
- 1:00:01Speaker 2: It's like arranging flowers. Menace, your mom is a flower.
- 1:00:03Speaker 2: That's difficult. Okay. That's difficult.
- 1:00:05Speaker 3: It's kind of the same thing to make it where
- 1:00:07Speaker 3: it's not all the same colors and textures and all
- 1:00:11Speaker 3: those different things that make this work.
- 1:00:13Speaker 5: Maybe I'm having a weird stroke of confidence.
- 1:00:15Speaker 2: That looks really easy to make it.
- 1:00:16Speaker 6: Well, and that's the thing. When you said they decorate
- 1:00:18Speaker 6: the porch, I thought it was going to be more elaborate, like,
- 1:00:21Speaker 6: actual decorations too that you'd have to put up.
- 1:00:23Speaker 2: This is one example. No, I'm looking at.
- 1:00:24Speaker 6: The website and it's all pumpkins on the ground. God
- 1:00:27Speaker 6: bless her.
- 1:00:28Speaker 2: Yeah, right.
- 1:00:29Speaker 3: But dude, she's making a lot of money.
- 1:00:30Speaker 2: Good for her.
- 1:00:31Speaker 3: All right, so I have another person. I don't want
- 1:00:34Speaker 3: to call this person a friend. This is a person
- 1:00:35Speaker 3: I know, an acquaintance who I know. Who started as
- 1:00:39Speaker 3: a side business putting up Christmas lights.
- 1:00:42Speaker 2: Oh, yeah.
- 1:00:43Speaker 3: And that's all he does now. Like, he quit his
- 1:00:45Speaker 3: actual job. He was a plumber. And he quit the
- 1:00:48Speaker 3: actual job because he was making pretty decent money because
- 1:00:51Speaker 3: he'd been doing the plumbing thing a while.
- 1:00:52Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:00:54Speaker 3: But the reason he quit is because he only works
- 1:00:56Speaker 3: a fraction of the time. He starts in October. He's
- 1:01:00Speaker 3: done by the middle or end of January because he
- 1:01:03Speaker 3: takes all the lights down.
- 1:01:04Speaker 2: Yeah. So he comes out, puts them all up.
- 1:01:06Speaker 3: He hires like, you know, just kind of a day
- 1:01:08Speaker 3: labor type, you know, high school kids or whoever is
- 1:01:10Speaker 3: just looking for work for a day. And they go
- 1:01:13Speaker 3: out and he's got the system for it. He's got
- 1:01:16Speaker 3: he puts the lights up and then that's it. Charges
- 1:01:18Speaker 3: really good money, has a ton of clients. And then
- 1:01:22Speaker 3: once the the holidays over.
- 1:01:25Speaker 2: Come New Year's Day, man, he's just going and pulling
- 1:01:27Speaker 2: them down. Nice.
- 1:01:28Speaker 3: Easy.
- 1:01:28Speaker 6: So he's basically retired nine months of the year.
- 1:01:30Speaker 2: Yeah. My God.
- 1:01:32Speaker 5: See, I would hire him because I don't want to
- 1:01:33Speaker 5: get on a ladder.
- 1:01:34Speaker 2: Yeah, that's too scary. He makes more doing that in
- 1:01:37Speaker 2: just that small little handful of months.
- 1:01:39Speaker 3: The other one, I got another buddy, and he's got
- 1:01:43Speaker 3: a whole company.
- 1:01:43Speaker 2: It's like, you know....
- 1:01:46Speaker 3: Aviation maintenance and stuff, right? So that's his main job.
- 1:01:49Speaker 3: He's been doing that forever. He started a haunted house.
- 1:01:52Speaker 2: I was going to ask you about that, dude.
- 1:01:53Speaker 3: Yeah, he owns this bank.
- 1:01:55Speaker 2: Dude, bank.
- 1:01:57Speaker 3: Because every person who goes through the haunted house is
- 1:02:01Speaker 3: like 40 bucks. Yeah. And the line to get into
- 1:02:04Speaker 3: the haunted house, you'll wait in that line for an
- 1:02:06Speaker 3: hour and a half, two hours. And he does that
- 1:02:10Speaker 3: when the season first starts. So he'll start it in September.
- 1:02:14Speaker 3: And it's just weekends, like, you know, Friday, Saturday. But
- 1:02:17Speaker 3: then as you get, you know, deeper into September and
- 1:02:20Speaker 3: into October, and then by the first or second week
- 1:02:22Speaker 3: of October, then it's every night and it's just cashing.
- 1:02:26Speaker 2: And he sells.
- 1:02:27Speaker 3: There's people out there doing the kettle corn and all that.
- 1:02:30Speaker 2: Other kind of stuff. The vendor stuff.
- 1:02:32Speaker 1: Right.
- 1:02:32Speaker 3: Because as you're waiting in line, they'll sell the refreshments
- 1:02:34Speaker 3: while you're waiting in line.
- 1:02:36Speaker 7: $ 40 per person.
- 1:02:37Speaker 3: And then if you pay an extra $ 20, you can
- 1:02:39Speaker 3: go to the front of the line.
- 1:02:41Speaker 2: So you're making $ 60 per person on that.
- 1:02:44Speaker 3: And this guy, I mean, hundreds of thousands of dollars.
- 1:02:46Speaker 5: And he works.
- 1:02:48Speaker 3: Like his actual investment, he's out there when the haunted
- 1:02:51Speaker 3: house is open.
- 1:02:52Speaker 2: He's out there. I don't know. Half the time?
- 1:02:56Speaker 6: Yeah, just checking in.
- 1:02:57Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:02:58Speaker 3: And that's for, let's just call it August, September, October.
- 1:03:01Speaker 3: Three months. Hundreds of thousands of dollars.
- 1:03:04Speaker 2: Remember when we went- Smarter, not harder.
- 1:03:06Speaker 5: We went to the Iowa State Fair and we got
- 1:03:08Speaker 5: told the story of the dude that owns that sack
- 1:03:11Speaker 5: slide thing where you put a burlap bag and then
- 1:03:14Speaker 5: you go down the- Potato sack. We're like, yeah, that
- 1:03:15Speaker 5: guy makes two million a year.
- 1:03:17Speaker 2: Doing that big giant slide. Two million. Yeah. And he
- 1:03:20Speaker 2: works like a month a year. Yeah.
- 1:03:22Speaker 3: This seems to be something that would maybe speak to,
- 1:03:24Speaker 3: not the pumpkin porch thing.
- 1:03:27Speaker 2: But I love that.
- 1:03:27Speaker 3: But something like that. Like something that Seabass could do.
- 1:03:30Speaker 2: Show Seabass the picture. Well, here's one thing. Have you heard,
- 1:03:32Speaker 2: Greg and Woody, of permanent Christmas lights now?
- 1:03:35Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:03:35Speaker 2: Oh, yeah. My neighbors have that.
- 1:03:36Speaker 6: You see those in the neighborhood, yeah.
- 1:03:38Speaker 2: Well, you're supposed to not see them. You're supposed to
- 1:03:39Speaker 2: be invisible. Oh, yes.
- 1:03:40Speaker 6: They're not invisible.
- 1:03:41Speaker 2: But people put them on. I see the ads all
- 1:03:43Speaker 2: the time. Because then, like, for Fourth of July, you
- 1:03:45Speaker 2: can have them in, you know, patriotic colors. Sunday, your
- 1:03:48Speaker 2: team colors.
- 1:03:49Speaker 6: It's the Gobi lights, right?
- 1:03:50Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:03:51Speaker 2: See, my argument is that, hey, do you really need
- 1:03:53Speaker 2: to hire somebody to do it? I mean, yeah, go
- 1:03:54Speaker 2: to Trader Joe's, buy a crate of the weird-looking pumpkins
- 1:03:57Speaker 2: they have.
- 1:03:57Speaker 7: Yeah, by the looks of that house, the person definitely
- 1:04:00Speaker 7: has enough money that they can just pay somebody.
- 1:04:01Speaker 2: To do it.
- 1:04:01Speaker 5: Right, they're doing it to take away the effort.
- 1:04:04Speaker 3: I got some bougie-ass friends, and one of the things
- 1:04:07Speaker 3: that they're involved in is they go around and they
- 1:04:09Speaker 3: decorate people's Christmas trees.
- 1:04:11Speaker 2: For funsies?
- 1:04:12Speaker 4: Really?
- 1:04:12Speaker 2: Wouldn't you want to do your own? Isn't that all
- 1:04:14Speaker 2: the fun? Because they want that perfect, what it looks
- 1:04:16Speaker 2: like out of an interior decorator magazine.
- 1:04:20Speaker 4: With the ribbons that come all the way down the tree.
- 1:04:22Speaker 6: I tried that last year.
- 1:04:23Speaker 2: It was it.
- 1:04:24Speaker 3: They spend big money. I mean, she works for an
- 1:04:27Speaker 3: interior decorator. It's my buddy's wife.
- 1:04:29Speaker 2: She works for a lot of corporate clients, too, because
- 1:04:31Speaker 2: we have that crap down in the lobby every year.
- 1:04:33Speaker 6: In the most depressing colors that exist. Like navy and gray.
- 1:04:37Speaker 2: Whatever.
- 1:04:38Speaker 3: But think about that.
- 1:04:39Speaker 2: That's it. You're going around.
- 1:04:41Speaker 3: That's what people want. They want it to look perfect.
- 1:04:43Speaker 3: They want that pumpkin thing in front of their house
- 1:04:45Speaker 3: to look perfect. They got extra cash. They'll pay you
- 1:04:47Speaker 3: to do it. You're working three months.
- 1:04:49Speaker 5: I mean, I get the convenience of it. But like
- 1:04:50Speaker 5: Greg said, don't... We give this text here, Greg is
- 1:04:52Speaker 5: a fool. For thinking putting a pumpkin on the ground
- 1:04:54Speaker 5: is hard?
- 1:04:55Speaker 2: Well, no, that's one... That makes me a fool.
- 1:04:56Speaker 6: But also for Christmas, don't you want to decorate with
- 1:04:59Speaker 6: the family?
- 1:05:00Speaker 2: Yeah, that's all the fun.
- 1:05:03Speaker 3: Got some trouble in paradise.
- 1:05:06Speaker 2: Oh. A couple of stories.
- 1:05:09Speaker 3: This one story, which I thought when I first saw it,
- 1:05:11Speaker 3: because it was popping up everywhere. I even saw it
- 1:05:13Speaker 3: on that NFL memes account, which, you know, they got
- 1:05:17Speaker 3: a lot of funny stuff up there.
- 1:05:18Speaker 2: Super funny.
- 1:05:19Speaker 3: I thought it was just one of these fake onion
- 1:05:21Speaker 3: type stories. But no, it turns out it's true. Police
- 1:05:25Speaker 3: say this 64-year-old guy in Virginia taped his wife to
- 1:05:29Speaker 3: a chair in their basement so he could watch football
- 1:05:31Speaker 3: in peace.
- 1:05:32Speaker 6: Oh, my God.
- 1:05:33Speaker 2: What? That sounds mega fake. Right, right. Yeah. Yeah, just
- 1:05:38Speaker 2: one of those phony stories that you see. Yeah, the
- 1:05:40Speaker 2: old ball chain.
- 1:05:41Speaker 3: She told the officers that she was stuck down there
- 1:05:43Speaker 3: for about 45 minutes. Police found marks and tape residue
- 1:05:46Speaker 3: on both of her arms. And the guy, the husband,
- 1:05:49Speaker 3: didn't deny it either. But now he's facing a felony
- 1:05:52Speaker 3: abduction charge.
- 1:05:53Speaker 6: I mean, I get it.
- 1:05:54Speaker 3: And a misdemeanor assault charge. He's got a court date
- 1:05:57Speaker 3: coming up next month. But yeah, he taped the bitch
- 1:05:58Speaker 3: in the basement so he can watch football in peace.
- 1:06:01Speaker 1: Wow.
- 1:06:02Speaker 6: Why don't you just be like, come back.
- 1:06:03Speaker 2: In two hours? Or just leave. Go to a bar.
- 1:06:05Speaker 3: Go watch it somewhere else.
- 1:06:07Speaker 2: You know? I mean, it sucks.
- 1:06:08Speaker 6: What a kinky relationship.
- 1:06:09Speaker 2: Talk it out with your wife. Just say, hey, you
- 1:06:10Speaker 2: go have your day.
- 1:06:11Speaker 7: Yeah.
- 1:06:12Speaker 2: Sounds awesome.
- 1:06:12Speaker 5: And I'll watch some football.
- 1:06:14Speaker 2: We're both happy.
- 1:06:14Speaker 3: I find it so cliche. I'm not taking up for
- 1:06:17Speaker 3: this guy. I'm saying, I do find it cliche when
- 1:06:20Speaker 3: women bitch so much about their husbands watching football.
- 1:06:23Speaker 2: Like, eh.
- 1:06:24Speaker 9: Right.
- 1:06:25Speaker 2: It's like, one thing you're just supposed to.
- 1:06:26Speaker 3: Don't you want? I mean, dude, if my wife gets
- 1:06:28Speaker 3: time to herself where I'm not asking anything.
- 1:06:32Speaker 2: She has nothing else. She's obligated.
- 1:06:33Speaker 3: Like she loves that.
- 1:06:35Speaker 2: It's something you both want. I love it too. When
- 1:06:38Speaker 2: the kids are occupied and I don't need anything. Dude,
- 1:06:40Speaker 2: her own time. Wouldn't you love that?
- 1:06:42Speaker 6: Point counterpoint. I agree with you. I love that he's
- 1:06:45Speaker 6: passionate about something and he enjoys it and that I
- 1:06:47Speaker 6: don't have to participate. But I will say there are
- 1:06:50Speaker 6: a lot of games. And if you sit in the
- 1:06:52Speaker 6: living room and you dominate the whole house because you
- 1:06:54Speaker 6: have the TV and I'm just sitting here going, can
- 1:06:56Speaker 6: we do something else? Then it sucks. I mean, we
- 1:06:59Speaker 6: have not that big of a house. And if he
- 1:07:01Speaker 6: just dominates the living room and watches this Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday,
- 1:07:06Speaker 6: then I'm like, well, what am I supposed to do?
- 1:07:08Speaker 6: I've left 8,000 times now.
- 1:07:10Speaker 2: What do you mean, what are you supposed to do?
- 1:07:11Speaker 6: I like to enjoy the living room as well.
- 1:07:14Speaker 2: I know, but you can hang there. You can scroll.
- 1:07:16Speaker 2: I do. Put some headphones on if you don't even
- 1:07:17Speaker 2: want to hear it. All of this.
- 1:07:19Speaker 7: What would you be doing in the living room if
- 1:07:20Speaker 7: he wasn't watching that?
- 1:07:22Speaker 6: Watching something that I want to watch, playing with the dog,
- 1:07:24Speaker 6: because I'll sit in front of the TV because we
- 1:07:25Speaker 6: have a long house, like a long hallway. And I
- 1:07:28Speaker 6: just sit and I whip toys back and forth. Can
- 1:07:30Speaker 6: you not do that in front of the TV? I'm like, well,
- 1:07:33Speaker 6: where am I.
- 1:07:33Speaker 3: Supposed to go? I hear what you're saying. It's a
- 1:07:37Speaker 3: fair enough point.
- 1:07:37Speaker 5: That kind of makes me sad to hear that.
- 1:07:39Speaker 2: I totally get it.
- 1:07:40Speaker 6: But I like that he, I've said this how many times?
- 1:07:43Speaker 6: If you're into sports, I love that you're passionate about something.
- 1:07:45Speaker 6: It doesn't affect my life.
- 1:07:46Speaker 3: Again, I would never take my wife down to the
- 1:07:49Speaker 3: basement and tape her to a chair.
- 1:07:50Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:07:51Speaker 3: Just so I can watch it again. I would soon enough, dude,
- 1:07:54Speaker 3: I'd be out of that house. I'd be going somewhere like,
- 1:07:56Speaker 3: I would just disappear. Wouldn't tell her where I was going.
- 1:08:00Speaker 2: Who cares?
- 1:08:00Speaker 3: I'd turn my phone off and I'd go find a place.
- 1:08:03Speaker 6: Put it on airplane mode.
- 1:08:04Speaker 3: I'd watch the game and that would be it.
- 1:08:06Speaker 4: How much money do you think this guy had on
- 1:08:08Speaker 4: the game? Because it seems like it was very high
- 1:08:10Speaker 4: stakes for him.
- 1:08:10Speaker 2: Well, I mean, also, how old was the guy?
- 1:08:13Speaker 7: 60?
- 1:08:14Speaker 6: Oh, how long had he been putting up with this?
- 1:08:16Speaker 6: He'd been putting up with this for 40 years.
- 1:08:17Speaker 2: Exactly. He snapped. He's like, you know what? That's it.
- 1:08:20Speaker 2: You're going to the basement. I can't take it anymore.
- 1:08:23Speaker 3: I'm taping you. This other Trouble in Paradise story.
- 1:08:26Speaker 2: Florida.
- 1:08:27Speaker 3: This is they've dropped, though, this felony case. This elderly couple,
- 1:08:31Speaker 3: they got arrested for fighting over a missing sex toy.
- 1:08:36Speaker 2: Oh, so this old couple, they.
- 1:08:38Speaker 3: Got engaged in May. They moved in together. And within
- 1:08:41Speaker 3: a month, they were both in jail. She couldn't find
- 1:08:44Speaker 3: her dildo. And she accused him of stealing it.
- 1:08:48Speaker 1: Why?
- 1:08:48Speaker 3: I don't know. Maybe like menace. Not a fan of
- 1:08:52Speaker 3: your lady having a sex toy. You got me now.
- 1:08:55Speaker 2: Yeah, now we're living together. Now you got me. You
- 1:08:57Speaker 2: don't need this thing. He got rid of it. I mean,
- 1:08:59Speaker 2: I don't know. yeah it won't allow it uh anyway
- 1:09:01Speaker 2: so things escalate she slapped him in the head he
- 1:09:04Speaker 2: then grabs her up cops had to come break it
- 1:09:06Speaker 2: up prosecutor said there was legally sufficient evidence to charge
- 1:09:09Speaker 2: them it just wasn't worth the resources we had charged
- 1:09:12Speaker 2: both it's a it's a couple of uh well yeah
- 1:09:13Speaker 2: because she slapped him yeah and he grabbed her.
- 1:09:16Speaker 3: Up steven Yeah, so they've been released. I don't know
- 1:09:19Speaker 3: if they ever found the dildo or if the wedding's
- 1:09:21Speaker 3: still on.
- 1:09:23Speaker 2: Maybe just work that out between the two of you.
- 1:09:25Speaker 2: It'll be funny someday when they're sitting around.
- 1:09:27Speaker 6: Put that in the vows.
- 1:09:28Speaker 2: Hey, remember that? Don't tell the police all the details. 877-44-WOODY.
- 1:09:31Speaker 2: Text us.
- 1:09:32Speaker 3: Check in over to 22987-MORE. Woody's show coming up for
- 1:09:35Speaker 3: you next.
- 1:09:35Speaker 2: Hang on.
- 1:09:48Speaker 3: Well, there are songs and you're like, whether it was
- 1:09:52Speaker 3: actually written for that movie or you just associate that
- 1:09:56Speaker 3: song because it was maybe like one that just filled
- 1:09:58Speaker 3: in on the soundtrack. But I mean, some theme songs
- 1:10:02Speaker 3: are almost as iconic as the movie itself. And so
- 1:10:06Speaker 3: I got a best of seven. Entertainment Weekly, they put
- 1:10:10Speaker 3: together some of the best and worst soundtrack songs of
- 1:10:14Speaker 3: all time.
- 1:10:15Speaker 6: Oh, I'm excited.
- 1:10:16Speaker 4: Right.
- 1:10:16Speaker 3: And so here, I'll go through some of the honorable
- 1:10:20Speaker 3: mentions before we get to the seven. And you guys
- 1:10:23Speaker 3: know the drill on this one. You guys will keep
- 1:10:26Speaker 3: four of the seven. So you got to lose two.
- 1:10:29Speaker 3: You keep four of the seven.
- 1:10:31Speaker 6: Wait, we got to lose three.
- 1:10:32Speaker 2: I'm sorry, three. There's math. Yeah. All right.
- 1:10:37Speaker 3: So which ones will you keep? Which ones are you
- 1:10:40Speaker 3: going to get rid of?
- 1:10:41Speaker 2: Now, again, honorable mention. And I'm just going to throw
- 1:10:45Speaker 2: this one in there. These are some that made the
- 1:10:50Speaker 2: Entertainment Weekly.
- 1:10:51Speaker 6: This has to make it.
- 1:10:53Speaker 3: Well, no, it's not one of the seven.
- 1:10:54Speaker 6: No, but I'm saying in general, this had to be
- 1:10:55Speaker 6: on the list.
- 1:10:56Speaker 2: Yeah, so obviously from Toy Story, right? I can never
- 1:11:00Speaker 2: remember this guy's name.
- 1:11:01Speaker 3: Randy Newman.
- 1:11:02Speaker 2: Thank you. Yeah, all right, name the movie for this one.
- 1:11:06Speaker 6: Oh, Do the Right Thing.
- 1:11:08Speaker 2: Do the Right Thing.
- 1:11:11Speaker 3: That's a movie I've not watched in a billion years.
- 1:11:14Speaker 6: Is this the beginning with Rosie for his boxing, like
- 1:11:16Speaker 6: shadow boxing?
- 1:11:17Speaker 2: And I wonder if I'd still dig it. I loved it.
- 1:11:20Speaker 2: I loved that movie.
- 1:11:21Speaker 3: Hey, Sal, how come there ain't no brothers on the wall?
- 1:11:26Speaker 6: All right.
- 1:11:28Speaker 2: How about some of these are way too easy. How
- 1:11:31Speaker 2: about this one?
- 1:11:33Speaker 6: Oh, yeah.
- 1:11:34Speaker 2: Love it.
- 1:11:34Speaker 6: Not Stand and Deliver, the other one. The Michelle Pfeiffer one.
- 1:11:37Speaker 2: Something Learning. Higher Learning. Is that what it's called?
- 1:11:41Speaker 6: The Michelle Pfeiffer movie.
- 1:11:44Speaker 2: Higher Learning?
- 1:11:44Speaker 7: I think so.
- 1:11:45Speaker 6: Yeah, I think you're right.
- 1:11:46Speaker 2: Dangerous Minds. Ah, same thing.
- 1:11:49Speaker 6: Legally the same thing.
- 1:11:50Speaker 2: That's legally identical. Dangerous Minds.
- 1:11:52Speaker 6: That was a different movie, Higher Learning.
- 1:11:54Speaker 2: I named the movie. Dirty dancing. Dirty dancing. I've never
- 1:11:59Speaker 2: seen that.
- 1:11:59Speaker 6: You'd hate it.
- 1:12:01Speaker 2: It looks so dumb. Saw it one time.
- 1:12:04Speaker 6: Yeah, it's not for you guys.
- 1:12:06Speaker 2: I can imagine you hated it. It's for teenagers.
- 1:12:08Speaker 3: I mean, I was a kid because my sisters loved it.
- 1:12:11Speaker 7: Yeah, because it's awesome.
- 1:12:12Speaker 2: I remember the soundtrack because the songs were all over
- 1:12:15Speaker 2: radio and stuff like that. I'm sorry, are we still
- 1:12:18Speaker 2: doing honorable mentions? Yes, yes, yes.
- 1:12:21Speaker 5: Lion King.
- 1:12:21Speaker 2: Yeah, these are just the honorable mentions, Menace. All right.
- 1:12:25Speaker 6: Lion King.
- 1:12:27Speaker 2: Lion King, Circle of Life. All right, since we're in
- 1:12:31Speaker 2: this whole realm here. Frozen. Yeah, Greg, come on, your favorite.
- 1:12:36Speaker 2: They're coming.
- 1:12:39Speaker 6: Out with a third one.
- 1:12:40Speaker 2: Is that Adele Dazeem?
- 1:12:43Speaker 6: Yeah, a dude.
- 1:12:44Speaker 2: What?
- 1:12:46Speaker 3: Wizard of Oz.
- 1:12:48Speaker 2: Your wife's favorite movie. Yeah. I do like the movie.
- 1:12:53Speaker 2: The movie's great. Yeah. I can't watch it any time
- 1:12:56Speaker 2: the way that my wife can.
- 1:12:57Speaker 6: I can't believe what I spent to see it in Vegas.
- 1:13:01Speaker 3: Once every six or seven years is plenty.
- 1:13:03Speaker 2: You know what? How about this song? Why are.
- 1:13:09Speaker 6: Oh, the Muppet movie.
- 1:13:11Speaker 2: Yeah, why are there? From the Muppet movie. Yeah.
- 1:13:21Speaker 3: Now that, man, I loved that movie when I was
- 1:13:23Speaker 3: a kid.
- 1:13:23Speaker 6: It holds up.
- 1:13:24Speaker 2: I think I could probably watch it now.
- 1:13:26Speaker 3: My buddy Tony was just having a movie night and
- 1:13:29Speaker 3: they were watching, what's the one where Kermit got amnesia?
- 1:13:32Speaker 2: Was that Muppets Take Manhattan?
- 1:13:34Speaker 4: Yes.
- 1:13:34Speaker 6: And he works for the ad agency.
- 1:13:36Speaker 2: And he's talking to the guy who runs the diner.
- 1:13:38Speaker 2: Peoples is Peoples. Frog is Peoples. Pig is Peoples. Peoples
- 1:13:42Speaker 2: is Peoples. Phil? Gil? Phil? How about soap?
- 1:13:46Speaker 6: It'll get you clean.
- 1:13:47Speaker 2: Right. He works for the ad agency.
- 1:13:51Speaker 3: Why is it that, man, there's so many people who
- 1:13:53Speaker 3: can do perfect impressions of celebrities and characters. But, man,
- 1:13:58Speaker 3: the Muppets have yet, since Jim Henson died, to get
- 1:14:02Speaker 3: Kermit's voice right.
- 1:14:03Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:14:03Speaker 2: It's always off. You would think they'd be able to
- 1:14:05Speaker 2: find somebody on Earth. Like within a day.
- 1:14:08Speaker 3: To get it absolutely perfect.
- 1:14:10Speaker 2: Spot on. Well, they can do it now.
- 1:14:12Speaker 3: Now they can do it with AI, for sure. I mean,
- 1:14:15Speaker 3: the closest was at his son's. I think Jim Henson's
- 1:14:19Speaker 3: son was the one doing it. All right, so these
- 1:14:22Speaker 3: are the seven. Those are all the honorable mentions. All right,
- 1:14:26Speaker 3: these are the seven. Best of seven soundtrack songs. You've
- 1:14:31Speaker 3: got to keep four, but you've got to get rid
- 1:14:33Speaker 3: of three. Which ones are you getting rid of? Here
- 1:14:36Speaker 3: is the first song.
- 1:14:37Speaker 2: Can you name the movie? Eight Mile. Eight Mile. Eight Mile.
- 1:14:44Speaker 2: All right, so song number one is Eminem, Lose Yourself.
- 1:14:49Speaker 2: All right. Number two, for your best of seven consideration,
- 1:14:56Speaker 2: is Celine Dion. Titanic. Titanic, obviously. I think I've seen
- 1:15:07Speaker 2: this movie twice.
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: It's long.
- 1:15:09Speaker 2: It's... It's all right. It's mega overrated.
- 1:15:13Speaker 7: Dude, when it came out in the theater, it stayed
- 1:15:16Speaker 7: in the theater forever.
- 1:15:18Speaker 3: I saw it once in the theater, and I think
- 1:15:20Speaker 3: I watched it out of the theater one time.
- 1:15:22Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:15:23Speaker 2: I think I'm good. One and done. All right. So
- 1:15:26Speaker 2: one was Eminem, Lose Yourself. Number two, Celine Dion from Titanic.
- 1:15:31Speaker 2: Number three.
- 1:15:33Speaker 6: Breakfast Club.
- 1:15:36Speaker 2: Yep. Simple Minds. Don't you forget about me. That's number three.
- 1:15:43Speaker 5: They offered that to Billy Idol and he said, no, dog.
- 1:15:46Speaker 6: Really?
- 1:15:46Speaker 9: Is that right?
- 1:15:47Speaker 2: Yeah. That's the lore. All right. Number four.
- 1:15:55Speaker 8: Oh.
- 1:15:55Speaker 5: Robin Hood?
- 1:15:55Speaker 6: No, it's the day, Independence Day. Armageddon.
- 1:15:59Speaker 2: Armageddon. That's it.
- 1:16:01Speaker 6: That genre.
- 1:16:02Speaker 2: Wasn't Bruce Willis an oil man? He worked in an
- 1:16:06Speaker 2: oil field.
- 1:16:06Speaker 3: He was a driller.
- 1:16:07Speaker 2: Uh-huh. And they sent him up there to land on
- 1:16:10Speaker 2: the asteroid so they could blow it up. Totally. So
- 1:16:12Speaker 2: it wouldn't take out Earth, right? Correct.
- 1:16:15Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:16:16Speaker 2: Eminem. Number one.
- 1:16:18Speaker 3: Number two, Titanic, Celine Dion. Number three, Breakfast Club, Simple Minds.
- 1:16:22Speaker 3: Number four, Aerosmith from Armageddon. Number five.
- 1:16:28Speaker 2: Rocky. Rocky.
- 1:16:29Speaker 6: As you say, Stallone.
- 1:16:31Speaker 2: Yeah. I'm the Tiger. Rocky, 1976.
- 1:16:35Speaker 3: That is a cool story.
- 1:16:38Speaker 2: I was watching some interview where he was talking about...
- 1:16:41Speaker 2: That time in his life and what he was doing.
- 1:16:43Speaker 2: He was hustling so hard. And how he wrote Rocky.
- 1:16:46Speaker 2: And how he just wrote this thing.
- 1:16:49Speaker 4: Yeah, there's a movie coming out about that.
- 1:16:50Speaker 2: Yeah, it looks just like him.
- 1:16:51Speaker 3: But I'm saying he just wrote this thing. It wasn't established.
- 1:16:55Speaker 3: It was a nobody.
- 1:16:56Speaker 2: And wrote this. And it's one of the most iconic
- 1:16:59Speaker 2: movies of all time.
- 1:17:00Speaker 6: And they wanted to buy it from him so they
- 1:17:01Speaker 6: could put a star in the role. And he said no.
- 1:17:03Speaker 4: But that's why he wrote it.
- 1:17:04Speaker 2: So he could star in it. Yeah, that's number five.
- 1:17:07Speaker 2: Best of seven. Number six.
- 1:17:10Speaker 6: Yeah, Top Gun.
- 1:17:12Speaker 2: All right, Kenny Loggins, Danger Zone, Top Gun. What year? 86?
- 1:17:24Speaker 6: 88?
- 1:17:26Speaker 2: 84? Got it right, 1986. Yeah. And then finally, number seven.
- 1:17:37Speaker 6: Bodyguard, which I've never seen.
- 1:17:39Speaker 3: Yeah, The Bodyguard.
- 1:17:41Speaker 2: Kevin Costner, Whitney Houston, 1992.
- 1:17:48Speaker 6: And I will say this, as you know, certified Biggest
- 1:17:51Speaker 6: Dolly Parton fan, this version blows hers out.
- 1:17:53Speaker 2: Of the water. Oh, yeah.
- 1:17:54Speaker 3: This is the version.
- 1:17:55Speaker 6: This is the version.
- 1:17:56Speaker 2: Sorry.
- 1:17:56Speaker 6: And she loved it because she just heard a cash
- 1:17:58Speaker 6: register every time Whitney sang it.
- 1:18:00Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:18:01Speaker 3: All right, so those are the seven. So you can
- 1:18:04Speaker 3: only keep four of those seven.
- 1:18:07Speaker 2: Which ones... Will they be?
- 1:18:09Speaker 3: So just text your picks over to 22987. Again, number
- 1:18:15Speaker 3: one was Eminem, Lose Yourself from 8 Mile. Now, you
- 1:18:18Speaker 3: can just text the names of the movies that you're
- 1:18:19Speaker 3: keeping if you'd like.
- 1:18:20Speaker 2: I don't care. It could be the artist.
- 1:18:22Speaker 3: It could be the movie. We'll figure it out. So
- 1:18:26Speaker 3: number one was from 8 Mile, Lose Yourself, Eminem. Number
- 1:18:28Speaker 3: two from Titanic, Celine Dion, My Heart Will Go On.
- 1:18:31Speaker 3: Number three was from The Breakfast Club. Simple Minds. Don't
- 1:18:35Speaker 3: you forget about me. Number four from Armageddon.
- 1:18:38Speaker 2: Aerosmith. Don't want to miss a thing. Number five from Rocky.
- 1:18:42Speaker 2: Eye of the Tiger. Survivor.
- 1:18:44Speaker 3: Number six from Top Gun. Danger Zone by Kenny Loggins.
- 1:18:48Speaker 3: And then number seven from... from The Bodyguard, Whitney Houston,
- 1:18:52Speaker 3: I Will Always Love You. Those are your seven. You
- 1:18:55Speaker 3: can only pick four.
- 1:18:56Speaker 7: I can barely remember to open my mouth.
- 1:18:59Speaker 2: When I'm eating. Like, you think I'm going to remember
- 1:19:01Speaker 2: to bring a canvas bag to go to the store?
- 1:19:03Speaker 6: No, I don't think you're going to remember.
- 1:19:05Speaker 2: It's an oldie show. All right, the results are in.
- 1:19:09Speaker 3: And just a reminder, the seven songs that everybody was
- 1:19:14Speaker 3: asked to consider for this round of best seven soundtrack songs.
- 1:19:18Speaker 2: Nominee number one was.
- 1:19:21Speaker 3: From 8 Mile. Number two was from Titanic, My Heart
- 1:19:26Speaker 3: Will Go On. Number three from The Breakfast Club. Simple Minds,
- 1:19:35Speaker 3: Don't You Forget About Me. Number four from the Armageddon soundtrack, Aerosmith.
- 1:19:46Speaker 3: Number five from Rocky, Survivor, Eye of the Tiger.
- 1:19:50Speaker 2: Song number six of the best of seven was from
- 1:19:57Speaker 2: Top Gun, Danger Zone. And number seven from The Bodyguard,
- 1:20:04Speaker 2: Whitney Houston.
- 1:20:05Speaker 3: I will always love you. Let's go around the room first,
- 1:20:15Speaker 3: and then I have the results from the listeners who
- 1:20:17Speaker 3: have been texting over their votes. Again, you've got to
- 1:20:19Speaker 3: keep four. You've got to get rid of three. So three,
- 1:20:23Speaker 3: got to go. And then what do you got there, Greg?
- 1:20:26Speaker 3: What's on your list?
- 1:20:26Speaker 2: This, I thought, was incredibly easy.
- 1:20:29Speaker 5: We're keeping... Breakfast Club, Simple Minds. We're keeping Armageddon, Aerosmith.
- 1:20:36Speaker 5: We're keeping Rocky, Eye of the Tiger. And we're keeping
- 1:20:39Speaker 5: Top Gun, Danger Zone.
- 1:20:40Speaker 2: Okay.
- 1:20:41Speaker 5: And lose Eminem, Selene, and Bodyguard.
- 1:20:44Speaker 2: All right. Yuck. Menace.
- 1:20:47Speaker 7: I'm going to go with the ones that I'm getting
- 1:20:48Speaker 7: rid of. And I'm going to say My Heart Will
- 1:20:51Speaker 7: Go On, Titanic. And a lot of these just have
- 1:20:53Speaker 7: to do with I'm just burnt on them. I can
- 1:20:56Speaker 7: live the rest of my life never hearing them ever again.
- 1:20:58Speaker 4: Okay.
- 1:20:59Speaker 7: The second one will be Rocky, Eye of the Tiger.
- 1:21:02Speaker 7: It just like, I don't know. It felt like in
- 1:21:04Speaker 7: the past couple of years, I had a resurgence. So
- 1:21:06Speaker 7: I just heard it so much. Not that I dislike
- 1:21:09Speaker 7: these songs. It's just, I'm good. And then the last one,
- 1:21:14Speaker 7: I Will Always Love You. I now prefer the Dolly
- 1:21:19Speaker 7: Parton version.
- 1:21:19Speaker 2: You do?
- 1:21:20Speaker 7: Because I've heard this Whitney Houston version so many times
- 1:21:23Speaker 7: in my life.
- 1:21:24Speaker 2: That i'm over it every american idol every voice audition
- 1:21:28Speaker 2: yeah yeah yeah.
- 1:21:30Speaker 7: So i built that one i yearn for the dolly
- 1:21:33Speaker 7: version and if i could pick four i would also
- 1:21:36Speaker 7: pick highway to the danger zone i just i'm over
- 1:21:40Speaker 7: it but okay i'll like to pick three all.
- 1:21:43Speaker 3: Right uh what about you gina.
- 1:21:45Speaker 6: Well, I know this word is insanely overused. I just
- 1:21:48Speaker 6: don't know what another word to replace it with. I
- 1:21:49Speaker 6: was just going on, which is the most iconic? You
- 1:21:52Speaker 6: think this song, you know the movie. They are hand
- 1:21:55Speaker 6: in hand, peanut butter and jelly. For me, that is
- 1:21:57Speaker 6: Breakfast Club, Don't You Forget About Me, Rocky, Eye of
- 1:22:00Speaker 6: the Tiger, Top Gun, Highway to the Danger Zone, and Bodyguard,
- 1:22:04Speaker 6: I Will Always Love You.
- 1:22:05Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, I put my songs in order. My
- 1:22:07Speaker 3: number one is Simple Minds from Breakfast Club. Number two,
- 1:22:11Speaker 3: 8 Mile from, or I'm sorry, Lose Yourself, Eminem from
- 1:22:15Speaker 3: 8 Mile. Three for me was Danger Zone from Top Gun.
- 1:22:21Speaker 3: And number four was Aerosmith from Armageddon. Now, dude, Rocky...
- 1:22:27Speaker 3: love the movie. And I think I, the tiger is
- 1:22:30Speaker 3: great in the movie, but there are certain songs that
- 1:22:33Speaker 3: I don't want to hear on the radio or outside
- 1:22:36Speaker 3: of the movie.
- 1:22:37Speaker 6: Or at karaoke.
- 1:22:39Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:22:39Speaker 3: And I, the tiger is one of those, like I'll
- 1:22:41Speaker 3: punch in and you'll have that, that classic hit station
- 1:22:43Speaker 3: is playing. I, the tiger.
- 1:22:45Speaker 2: It's like, yeah, I don't want to hear that. You're
- 1:22:47Speaker 2: the one I want. That song only makes sense in
- 1:22:52Speaker 2: the context of the movie. There's certain songs I.
- 1:22:54Speaker 3: Think only are good in the movie while you're watching
- 1:22:56Speaker 3: the movie. That's one of them.
- 1:22:57Speaker 6: So when it comes to Rocky, would you rather hear
- 1:23:00Speaker 6: Eye of the Tiger or Gonna Fly Now?
- 1:23:02Speaker 2: Neither one.
- 1:23:03Speaker 6: That's what I'm saying.
- 1:23:04Speaker 2: Only in the context of the movie. Okay.
- 1:23:07Speaker 3: Then Whitney Houston, if I never heard that song again,
- 1:23:09Speaker 3: I'd be fine.
- 1:23:10Speaker 2: Totally. And the same with Celine Dion and Titanic. Absolutely.
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:23:14Speaker 2: Sammy?
- 1:23:14Speaker 1: Sammy?
- 1:23:15Speaker 4: My number one is Eminem, Lose Yourself. Number two, Breakfast Club.
- 1:23:20Speaker 4: Number three is Aerosmith, Armageddon.
- 1:23:23Speaker 2: And number four.
- 1:23:25Speaker 4: It was tough, but I did end up going with
- 1:23:27Speaker 4: Whitney Houston because that is so iconic. And again, the
- 1:23:30Speaker 4: other ones I'm just burnt out on. I never liked
- 1:23:33Speaker 4: My Heart Will Go On by Celine Dion and it
- 1:23:34Speaker 4: was everywhere. And then Eye of the Tiger and Danger
- 1:23:37Speaker 4: Zone are both, yeah, just movie only for me.
- 1:23:40Speaker 2: I don't want to hear them outside of it.
- 1:23:41Speaker 3: Well, the list of votes are in and we'll go
- 1:23:44Speaker 3: from four to number one. So your votes and thank
- 1:23:47Speaker 3: you for those on the text over to 22987. I
- 1:23:50Speaker 3: actually thought this one was going to be a little
- 1:23:51Speaker 3: bit higher, but at number four.
- 1:23:54Speaker 2: Was Whitney Houston. I want to like this song.
- 1:23:59Speaker 5: I've always found it obnoxious.
- 1:24:02Speaker 3: Never saw the movie.
- 1:24:04Speaker 2: Oh, really?
- 1:24:05Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:24:06Speaker 3: This is another one that I thought was going to
- 1:24:07Speaker 3: be way higher on the list.
- 1:24:09Speaker 2: With Woody Show listeners, but it only did best for third,
- 1:24:15Speaker 2: and that would be Eminem. I would have thought that
- 1:24:19Speaker 2: would be... Maybe number one.
- 1:24:22Speaker 3: According to Woody Show listeners, at number two, from Tom Gunn,
- 1:24:30Speaker 3: Kenny Loggins' Danger Zone, and of the Woody Show listeners
- 1:24:35Speaker 3: who voted over the 22987 for this round of Best
- 1:24:39Speaker 3: of Seven, soundtrack song, Simple Minds.
- 1:24:43Speaker 2: Number one.
- 1:24:45Speaker 9: It's a banger.
- 1:24:50Speaker 3: I think we're getting to a point now, like, as,
- 1:24:53Speaker 3: you know, time goes on and people age, that you
- 1:24:55Speaker 3: said the song that is just most, like.
- 1:24:57Speaker 2: Like, just hand-in-hand with anonymous.
- 1:25:00Speaker 6: Iconic, nostalgic.
- 1:25:00Speaker 2: I would say probably Titanic.
- 1:25:03Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:25:03Speaker 2: I would probably say My Heart Will Go On, like,
- 1:25:06Speaker 2: as people start aging or whatever, past, you know, Breakfast
- 1:25:09Speaker 2: Club type movies or even, you know, Rocky.
- 1:25:12Speaker 3: You know, Breakfast Club, Rocky, Top Gun, all those movies,
- 1:25:15Speaker 3: you know?
- 1:25:15Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:25:16Speaker 3: That critical mass.
- 1:25:17Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:25:17Speaker 4: The Breakfast Club song was big in the Pitch Perfect movies, though, too.
- 1:25:20Speaker 4: So it kind of came back during that time.
- 1:25:22Speaker 2: Yeah. As a song itself.
- 1:25:24Speaker 3: But it wasn't like, oh, this is the movie from
- 1:25:26Speaker 3: Breakfast Club. Because now, like, oh, this is from, like,
- 1:25:28Speaker 3: my kids say, oh, this is a TikTok song.
- 1:25:30Speaker 2: I'm like, no, it's not. This was a real song.
- 1:25:33Speaker 1: No.
- 1:25:33Speaker 2: It's TikTok. Oh, this is a song from TikTok. No,
- 1:25:38Speaker 2: it's not from TikTok. I mean, yes, but no.
- 1:25:41Speaker 9: Yes, but no.
- 1:25:41Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:25:43Speaker 3: Well, thank you for your votes.
- 1:25:45Speaker 2: The Woody Show. Welcome back. Follow up on the best
- 1:25:51Speaker 2: of seven soundtrack songs. I told you that Entertainment Weekly
- 1:25:55Speaker 2: put together like the best and the worst. Some of
- 1:25:57Speaker 2: the other ones they had on theirs was Breakfast at
- 1:26:00Speaker 2: Tiffany's from 1961. Shaft, the theme from Shaft, Isaac Hayes.
- 1:26:09Speaker 2: What else do they have?
- 1:26:09Speaker 3: Oh, Philadelphia by Bruce Springsteen for Streets of Philadelphia.
- 1:26:12Speaker 2: He's fresh on. He's so good. Yeah, such a great song.
- 1:26:15Speaker 2: Irene Cara, Fame from Fame.
- 1:26:16Speaker 9: Sure.
- 1:26:18Speaker 3: The Way We Were by Baba Streisand.
- 1:26:21Speaker 6: Oh, from.
- 1:26:22Speaker 2: The Way We Were. Oh, that was the name of
- 1:26:25Speaker 2: the movie? Yeah, 1973. No Weird Science? No, that wasn't
- 1:26:28Speaker 2: on there. I love that one. Now, some of the
- 1:26:29Speaker 2: ones they listed as the worst, Will Smith, Wild Wild West.
- 1:26:34Speaker 2: That was a banger, dude. It was a big hit. Yeah,
- 1:26:36Speaker 2: it was huge.
- 1:26:37Speaker 6: That was a sample part.
- 1:26:38Speaker 3: I loved Men in Black. I thought that was a
- 1:26:40Speaker 3: cool song, but yeah, Wild Wild West.
- 1:26:42Speaker 2: Who's listening to that these days?
- 1:26:43Speaker 4: Yeah, no.
- 1:26:43Speaker 3: The Men in Black.
- 1:26:44Speaker 2: Cyndi Lauper, The Goonies Are Good Enough. Sure. Yeah. Love
- 1:26:48Speaker 2: that song. For you it's been good enough. And had
- 1:26:51Speaker 2: all the wrestlers in the music video.
- 1:26:52Speaker 9: Yeah.
- 1:26:53Speaker 6: Even girls just want to have fun.
- 1:26:54Speaker 2: They had that on their worst list. Aw. Hammer.
- 1:26:58Speaker 3: Adam's groove.
- 1:26:59Speaker 2: Oh, yeah. MC Hammer. I will say I knew that song,
- 1:27:03Speaker 2: but as a little kid. They do what they want
- 1:27:04Speaker 2: to do. They do what they want to do. It's
- 1:27:06Speaker 2: legitimately terrible.
- 1:27:07Speaker 3: And then Vanessa Williams from Pocahontas for Colors of the Wind.
- 1:27:11Speaker 6: Oh, yeah.
- 1:27:12Speaker 3: They said a Disney-fied attempt to interpret Native American mythology
- 1:27:18Speaker 3: came off as pandering and overly sentimental. Has anyone ever heard.
- 1:27:22Speaker 2: The wolf cry to the blue corn moon. Sorry.
- 1:27:28Speaker 6: Sorry they tried.
- 1:27:29Speaker 3: Entertainment Weekly's write-up, not mine.
- 1:27:32Speaker 2: Hey, good news, Seabass.
- 1:27:34Speaker 3: I don't know if you saw, but Sydney Sweeney says
- 1:27:37Speaker 3: that she prefers bald men.
- 1:27:38Speaker 2: Oh. I mean, it's good for them, I guess. I mean,
- 1:27:41Speaker 2: your dream lady.
- 1:27:41Speaker 5: They got a chance.
- 1:27:42Speaker 3: And she prefers bald men. She says that she just
- 1:27:45Speaker 3: finds them sexier. She was just on a podcast talking
- 1:27:48Speaker 3: about it.
- 1:27:48Speaker 2: Speaking of pandering. But Scooter Braun is not bald, I
- 1:27:51Speaker 2: don't believe.
- 1:27:51Speaker 1: No.
- 1:27:52Speaker 2: No, he's not. And I think they're like looking to
- 1:27:53Speaker 2: pretty much, he's looking to lock that down pretty fast.
- 1:27:55Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 1:27:56Speaker 6: There was gossip that she's been talking to rabbis about
- 1:27:58Speaker 6: converting for him. It's pretty serious.
- 1:28:02Speaker 2: Converting?
- 1:28:02Speaker 6: Converting.
- 1:28:03Speaker 2: That's a lot of work.
- 1:28:03Speaker 6: Yeah. It's a whole thing. Oh, my God.
- 1:28:05Speaker 2: Why would he? Because he's a billionaire. She's a multimillionaire.
- 1:28:08Speaker 6: Maybe the parents have a chokehold on Sonny.
- 1:28:10Speaker 2: I mean, if it's parents, I would say, here's a
- 1:28:13Speaker 2: million dollars. Go away. Yeah. I'll begin with Cindy right now. Yeah, anyway,
- 1:28:18Speaker 2: so that's good news.
- 1:28:19Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:28:20Speaker 2: I mean, it's a great way to pander and get
- 1:28:21Speaker 2: more people on your, you know, on your side.
- 1:28:25Speaker 3: Yeah, Jeff G found this clip. Remember the guy, and
- 1:28:29Speaker 3: he had, like, the whiteboard sea bass, and he was like,
- 1:28:31Speaker 3: all right, well, it's the hotness of being crazy. And
- 1:28:34Speaker 3: so like.
- 1:28:34Speaker 2: Trying to find out different versions.
- 1:28:36Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:28:36Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 1:28:37Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:28:37Speaker 3: So like if she's an eight hot and a two crazy,
- 1:28:41Speaker 3: like that was like a unicorn kind of territory.
- 1:28:45Speaker 2: Right. Instantly.
- 1:28:46Speaker 3: Well, this woman on Instagram now she has her own.
- 1:28:50Speaker 3: And she is trying to illustrate the types of men
- 1:28:52Speaker 3: that are available in 2026. Ladies, agree or disagree? She
- 1:28:58Speaker 3: breaks it down here.
- 1:28:58Speaker 2: Type of man in 2026. Hold on. I should also.
- 1:29:02Speaker 5: Hold on.
- 1:29:02Speaker 6: Didn't warn us.
- 1:29:03Speaker 2: Fun accent ahead. All right.
- 1:29:06Speaker 3: Fun accent ahead. All right, ladies, do you agree?
- 1:29:08Speaker 2: Type of man in 2026.
- 1:29:10Speaker 10: If you want a rich and loyal, he's going to
- 1:29:13Speaker 10: be ugly.
- 1:29:14Speaker 2: All right. He's going to be ugly. That's probably either
- 1:29:16Speaker 2: that or Mormon. Yeah.
- 1:29:18Speaker 3: I asked the ladies. Would you agree or disagree?
- 1:29:21Speaker 6: Rich and loyal.
- 1:29:22Speaker 3: Rich and loyal.
- 1:29:23Speaker 6: She might be onto something.
- 1:29:24Speaker 3: Probably ugly.
- 1:29:26Speaker 6: Yeah.
- 1:29:27Speaker 2: Probably. Yeah. I get it. All right.
- 1:29:30Speaker 10: If you want a lawyer and handsome, he's going.
- 1:29:33Speaker 2: To be poor.
- 1:29:34Speaker 6: Yes.
- 1:29:35Speaker 2: A handsome lawyer?
- 1:29:36Speaker 1: Loyal.
- 1:29:37Speaker 2: Loyal. Oh, loyal. Yeah, getting fun with that. Yeah.
- 1:29:41Speaker 3: Loyal and handsome.
- 1:29:42Speaker 6: He needs a sugar mama.
- 1:29:44Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 1:29:45Speaker 3: Going to be poor.
- 1:29:45Speaker 6: He's a gigolo.
- 1:29:46Speaker 2: Yeah. All right. So agree? No, I don't think necessarily.
- 1:29:50Speaker 6: That's pretty good. I don't know. From all of my
- 1:29:53Speaker 6: dating experience before I got married, that's pretty accurate.
- 1:29:56Speaker 1: Yeah?
- 1:29:56Speaker 2: Oh, yeah. Okay. And if you want to handsome and rich,
- 1:30:01Speaker 2: he's a cheater.
- 1:30:03Speaker 3: Handsome and rich, he's a cheater.
- 1:30:06Speaker 6: That's what they say. Can't lock those dudes down. Even
- 1:30:09Speaker 6: if you're married to him, they'll still step out.
- 1:30:12Speaker 2: Handsome and rich, he's a cheater.
- 1:30:14Speaker 6: Cheater. When Chris Rock said a man is only as
- 1:30:16Speaker 6: faithful as his options and he's handsome and rich.
- 1:30:18Speaker 2: All right. But you've got to be okay with that, right?
- 1:30:20Speaker 2: So you're saying you agree, Sammy?
- 1:30:22Speaker 6: I don't think most women would prefer it. Yeah, I
- 1:30:23Speaker 6: probably agree.
- 1:30:23Speaker 1: Agree?
- 1:30:24Speaker 2: All right. So he dabbles on the side. Big deal. Whatever.
- 1:30:26Speaker 2: You're not there. You don't care.
- 1:30:28Speaker 7: Oh, well.
- 1:30:28Speaker 2: And if you want a rich, loyal, and handsome, he's gay.
- 1:30:34Speaker 3: Yeah, if he's rich, loyal, and.
- 1:30:40Speaker 2: Handsome, well then, you know, get it.
- 1:30:42Speaker 6: That's great.
- 1:30:43Speaker 2: Yeah. It's like, damn. That's the thing that women have
- 1:30:45Speaker 2: to deal with that men don't. Women, when dating men,
- 1:30:48Speaker 2: there's a significant chance that you're like, is he gay?
- 1:30:52Speaker 2: That doesn't really happen. Whereas a guy might hope that
- 1:30:55Speaker 2: she is. Some of my best friends in school, their mom...
- 1:30:59Speaker 2: She went gay.
- 1:31:00Speaker 4: Oh, one.
- 1:31:01Speaker 2: All right, so one. Yeah. That's everybody. I never thought
- 1:31:05Speaker 2: about it, but you're right. I hear that more from
- 1:31:06Speaker 2: women than anything. Like, oh, but yeah, blah, blah, blah, blah.
- 1:31:09Speaker 2: But they have to want to hear it. But aren't
- 1:31:11Speaker 2: women way more likely to dabble, right, Greg? I would think. Yeah.
- 1:31:15Speaker 5: Yeah, they get drunk and they make out.
- 1:31:17Speaker 2: But men are more likely to be gay.
- 1:31:18Speaker 6: Looking for a beard.
- 1:31:20Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:31:20Speaker 2: Like, it's just, for whatever reason, men are more extreme
- 1:31:22Speaker 2: in all things, including sexual preferences.
- 1:31:25Speaker 1: Gayness.
- 1:31:25Speaker 2: Sexual preferences.
- 1:31:26Speaker 5: I wonder if they've done a study on the late
- 1:31:28Speaker 5: in life lesbians. I had a relative who was a
- 1:31:31Speaker 5: very late in life lesbian.
- 1:31:32Speaker 2: I think that's a options thing. What's that? And what
- 1:31:35Speaker 2: was that about?
- 1:31:36Speaker 3: Like lived her whole life as a lie?
- 1:31:38Speaker 2: Absolutely.
- 1:31:39Speaker 5: I don't know if it was a lie or if
- 1:31:41Speaker 5: it was a change in desire.
- 1:31:43Speaker 2: I think that, I think it's, I'm done having sex,
- 1:31:46Speaker 2: which a lot of, we hear that about heterosexual women
- 1:31:48Speaker 2: and they're like, And this is just easier.
- 1:31:50Speaker 6: It's a companion.
- 1:31:51Speaker 2: It's more like a best friend.
- 1:31:53Speaker 6: I told you I knew a man who's, well, let's
- 1:31:56Speaker 6: say a guy whose grandfather was a minister, had six kids,
- 1:32:00Speaker 6: and when his wife died, he came out and decided
- 1:32:03Speaker 6: to live his true self and had the best golden
- 1:32:06Speaker 6: years of his life.
- 1:32:06Speaker 2: Yeah, but we're talking about Did he turn him like
- 1:32:08Speaker 2: a total whore? Uh-huh. On those club med courses. Like
- 1:32:12Speaker 2: when Greg finally came out, he said he went through
- 1:32:14Speaker 2: his major slut phase.
- 1:32:15Speaker 6: And he was in his late 60s.
- 1:32:16Speaker 2: Oh, that sucks. That's what I mean.
- 1:32:18Speaker 3: That's a big swing from like, you know, man of
- 1:32:20Speaker 3: the cloth.
- 1:32:20Speaker 2: That's not a great whore phase, though. We're talking about
- 1:32:23Speaker 2: late in life lesbians. Yeah.
- 1:32:25Speaker 7: Right.
- 1:32:25Speaker 6: But I was giving another example.
- 1:32:27Speaker 2: Maybe more like, like they're saying, companionship type thing. Get
- 1:32:31Speaker 2: a cat. That's a lot of it. You know what
- 1:32:33Speaker 2: I mean? My mom got two. Oh, they're getting cats. Oh, yeah.
- 1:32:35Speaker 2: Mad cats. Oh, they are. Dude. So much.
- 1:32:38Speaker 5: Yeah, the one that I knew did, like, the full gamut. Like,
- 1:32:42Speaker 5: she got her hair cut real short.
- 1:32:43Speaker 2: Oh, yeah, yeah.
- 1:32:44Speaker 6: She wanted to be easily identified.
- 1:32:46Speaker 2: Stopped carrying her.
- 1:32:47Speaker 6: Got her outback.
- 1:32:48Speaker 2: Why with the short hair? I don't get it.
- 1:32:51Speaker 3: Easier to take care of.
- 1:32:51Speaker 2: I guess. You know? They're functional, bro.
- 1:32:54Speaker 3: Dude, every woman who I've ever known who has cut
- 1:32:56Speaker 3: their hair short goes, oh, my God, it's so easy.
- 1:32:58Speaker 3: Now I get why, guys. Because, man, you can just.
- 1:33:01Speaker 2: Wash your hair. It dries really quick. That I don't get.
- 1:33:04Speaker 2: You don't have to. There's not as much to do
- 1:33:06Speaker 2: with the upkeep of it.
- 1:33:07Speaker 6: Sammy, I think you'd agree. If we had short hair,
- 1:33:10Speaker 6: we would spend way more time on it than just
- 1:33:12Speaker 6: you wearing it down and me throwing it in a ponytail.
- 1:33:14Speaker 2: You would? Oh, my God.
- 1:33:15Speaker 4: Yes, for sure.
- 1:33:16Speaker 6: I would never commit to that.
- 1:33:18Speaker 4: You would never be able to leave the house without
- 1:33:19Speaker 4: makeup on.
- 1:33:20Speaker 6: You can't.
- 1:33:20Speaker 4: You have to commit to that. If you have longer hair,
- 1:33:23Speaker 4: you can do no makeup. You can let it air dry.
- 1:33:24Speaker 4: But if they have short hair, you have to have makeup.
- 1:33:26Speaker 4: But I will say, older ladies, I find, always cut
- 1:33:29Speaker 4: their hair short.
- 1:33:30Speaker 2: They have short hair because.
- 1:33:32Speaker 4: to lift their shoulders up and be messing with their
- 1:33:34Speaker 4: head and blow drying it and stuff becomes difficult at
- 1:33:37Speaker 4: a certain point that now they don't have to do that.
- 1:33:39Speaker 3: Like arthritis?
- 1:33:41Speaker 8: Yeah.
- 1:33:41Speaker 2: Really? Oh, I have. I thought it was because their
- 1:33:45Speaker 2: hair got like kind of stringier and strawier.
- 1:33:47Speaker 6: Like scarecrow hair?
- 1:33:48Speaker 2: Yeah, like it thins out. I mean, that's what happens
- 1:33:50Speaker 2: when you get older, right? Yeah. Okay. The texture changes.
- 1:33:54Speaker 7: Ladies in the room, why do you insist when a
- 1:33:58Speaker 7: younger woman cuts her hair short that You say it
- 1:34:00Speaker 7: looks great.
- 1:34:01Speaker 6: Because she can pull it off.
- 1:34:02Speaker 2: No, she can't. Oh, bro.
- 1:34:04Speaker 6: It depends on the person.
- 1:34:06Speaker 2: Do you just like it because she looks terrible and
- 1:34:07Speaker 2: you're like, oh. Jeez. Okay.
- 1:34:09Speaker 6: So basically all Madison's saying is he doesn't like short hair.
- 1:34:11Speaker 8: Right.
- 1:34:12Speaker 2: Well, you say why women lie to each other all
- 1:34:13Speaker 2: the time. Why they be lying?
- 1:34:15Speaker 6: No, because we're not trying to have sex with them
- 1:34:17Speaker 6: and we think it looks pretty.
- 1:34:18Speaker 2: Does it? I think it's because they want to get
- 1:34:20Speaker 2: the same back. It's why women are upset with. flip
- 1:34:22Speaker 2: out of other women's birthdays because they want the same
- 1:34:24Speaker 2: treatment back. So you just do not like short hair
- 1:34:28Speaker 2: on women?
- 1:34:29Speaker 3: I think most guys would tell you that it wouldn't
- 1:34:32Speaker 3: be their preference.
- 1:34:33Speaker 2: Like if you would say it's short.
- 1:34:34Speaker 6: Yeah, it's not my preference on myself either. But if
- 1:34:37Speaker 6: you see like a supermodel or something with short hair
- 1:34:39Speaker 6: and she looks great.
- 1:34:39Speaker 2: She could look better with longer.
- 1:34:41Speaker 3: But I'm saying it's not surprising that men isn't a
- 1:34:43Speaker 3: fan of short hair.
- 1:34:44Speaker 6: I know, I agree.
- 1:34:46Speaker 2: Most dudes. Yeah. Yeah, there's very, very few that can
- 1:34:50Speaker 2: pull it off.
- 1:34:51Speaker 6: So all you're saying is men generally don't like it.
- 1:34:53Speaker 2: I think what men are saying is at the best,
- 1:34:55Speaker 2: it's a neutral move. Okay. At the best. If you're
- 1:34:58Speaker 2: super hot already, you're not going to kill yourself.
- 1:35:01Speaker 5: Well, Gina, what do you think about dudes with really
- 1:35:03Speaker 5: long hair?
- 1:35:04Speaker 6: I used to be super into it. It's not my
- 1:35:06Speaker 6: thing anymore, but I used to think it was super hot.
- 1:35:07Speaker 2: Sorry, Mort. 877-44-WOODY. You can send us a text over
- 1:35:10Speaker 2: to 22987. More Woody shows next. The Woody Show.
- 1:35:23Speaker 5: At this point, why don't we just all liquidate our
- 1:35:26Speaker 5: bank account and take the money and.
- 1:35:28Speaker 2: Put it in a fire? I'm looking for real answers.
- 1:35:32Speaker 2: The Woody Show. I think if there's anybody around here
- 1:35:37Speaker 2: who's going to be more particular about what conversations they
- 1:35:41Speaker 2: will or will not participate in, it would be Seabass.
- 1:35:45Speaker 2: He's kind of picky in particular. I'm a discerning individual. Discerning!
- 1:35:49Speaker 2: Is that the word? He's discerning. What's that? What, discerning?
- 1:35:54Speaker 2: He said picky. He'll nitpick and be a little bit more.
- 1:36:02Speaker 3: In other words, just now whatever kind of comes through.
- 1:36:04Speaker 5: You know what I mean?
- 1:36:06Speaker 2: Taste class.
- 1:36:09Speaker 3: Like I told you before, everybody on the show submits...
- 1:36:13Speaker 3: a list to me each day, like, hey, if I
- 1:36:14Speaker 3: turn the microphone on and go right to you, what
- 1:36:17Speaker 3: is something that you would bring up and talk about?
- 1:36:20Speaker 2: Right?
- 1:36:20Speaker 3: And so I just gave everybody's list to Seabass, and
- 1:36:24Speaker 3: he gets to pick what we're going to go with.
- 1:36:26Speaker 2: All right? Okay.
- 1:36:28Speaker 4: All right.
- 1:36:29Speaker 2: Seabass. From Greg Gorey. Mm-hmm. Should I be wishing my
- 1:36:35Speaker 2: godson and his parents happy monthdays? He just turned five
- 1:36:39Speaker 2: months and I didn't text her or say anything. Month, day, oh.
- 1:36:43Speaker 2: You're six months? You're seven months?
- 1:36:44Speaker 5: Yeah, because it's their first baby and then every, I
- 1:36:46Speaker 5: think it's the fifth of every month, like.
- 1:36:48Speaker 2: He's four months old.
- 1:36:50Speaker 5: He's five months old.
- 1:36:51Speaker 3: Are they texting you?
- 1:36:52Speaker 5: Well, I'm the godfather, so I'm wondering, like, Should I
- 1:36:56Speaker 5: acknowledge that?
- 1:36:56Speaker 6: I've never heard of anyone acknowledging that.
- 1:36:58Speaker 2: I find that dumb. I've seen people respond to it.
- 1:37:00Speaker 3: It's a big deal with parents.
- 1:37:01Speaker 6: But if they post something, you'd be like, wow, he's
- 1:37:03Speaker 6: getting so big. But I don't think you have to
- 1:37:04Speaker 6: initiate it.
- 1:37:05Speaker 2: Okay, good.
- 1:37:05Speaker 3: I would say, like, if you go to the store...
- 1:37:08Speaker 3: And you love cards. If you go to the store...
- 1:37:10Speaker 3: And you start seeing like four-month, five-month, six-month cards.
- 1:37:14Speaker 6: Do they have those?
- 1:37:15Speaker 2: Well, then maybe it's worth acknowledging. But until that time comes,
- 1:37:18Speaker 2: I'm not going to. I'll leave it up to Hallmark
- 1:37:20Speaker 2: to decide.
- 1:37:21Speaker 6: Just always have a wow, he's getting so big loaded
- 1:37:23Speaker 6: and you'll be fine.
- 1:37:26Speaker 2: That's a good idea.
- 1:37:26Speaker 3: Would this be a good candidate for Judge My Baby?
- 1:37:28Speaker 2: Um... I'm trying to put Greg on the spot. I'm
- 1:37:34Speaker 2: not going to ask you that question, Greg. Don't say anything.
- 1:37:37Speaker 3: I'm leaving you out. I said to try to get
- 1:37:39Speaker 3: that initial reaction. I would never put Greg in that position.
- 1:37:44Speaker 2: Greg's godson. I wonder if I'm biased at all.
- 1:37:48Speaker 6: No, he's very cute.
- 1:37:49Speaker 3: Dude, I got in trouble one time years ago. I
- 1:37:52Speaker 3: was working at a station in New York and it
- 1:37:54Speaker 3: was the station that Howard Stern did his show from.
- 1:37:56Speaker 3: And so Howard brought me in for one of the
- 1:37:58Speaker 3: segments we were making fun of, you know, management and stuff.
- 1:38:00Speaker 2: And he goes, hey, this is on the air.
- 1:38:02Speaker 3: He goes, hey, I heard you just got married. This
- 1:38:03Speaker 3: is when I got married to my first wife.
- 1:38:04Speaker 2: Right. Right.
- 1:38:05Speaker 3: I go, yeah.
- 1:38:06Speaker 2: He goes, oh, God. He goes, you're a young guy.
- 1:38:08Speaker 3: Why the hell did you do that? He was recently
- 1:38:10Speaker 3: divorced at the time, you know.
- 1:38:11Speaker 2: I go, I don't know. He goes, well, is she hot?
- 1:38:15Speaker 2: I go, yeah.
- 1:38:15Speaker 3: He goes, is she stripper hot? Now, this is the
- 1:38:17Speaker 3: point where I'm like, man, what am I going to say?
- 1:38:21Speaker 3: Because if I say stripper hot, to me, I would
- 1:38:22Speaker 3: say that she's trashy.
- 1:38:24Speaker 2: Right. Right. I said, well, I'm not stripper hot.
- 1:38:26Speaker 3: And they were like, oh.
- 1:38:27Speaker 2: Oh, she's ugly. Oh, yeah. I'm like, oh. yeah oh
- 1:38:31Speaker 2: that's a great way to start off the marriage yeah
- 1:38:33Speaker 2: that's a no win yeah so sea bass good i
- 1:38:37Speaker 2: thought that was a candidate for that's what i call
- 1:38:38Speaker 2: interesting Now that's what I call interesting. Okay. Good to know. Yeah, yeah.
- 1:38:45Speaker 2: All right.
- 1:38:47Speaker 3: Okay, so if it's not that, what is it?
- 1:38:48Speaker 2: All right. Menace. Yes. Says, I used to enjoy movie
- 1:38:53Speaker 2: previews in the theaters, but now it's the freaking... All
- 1:38:56Speaker 2: caps worst with two exclamations. Oh, yes, dude. So this
- 1:39:00Speaker 2: I hate this.
- 1:39:01Speaker 7: And is everybody going through this now? Because I would
- 1:39:04Speaker 7: love all the previews. I like seeing all the trailers.
- 1:39:06Speaker 7: And now it's just nothing but horror films. And they
- 1:39:10Speaker 7: show you like this season.
- 1:39:12Speaker 2: Super. No, it's been like this for a while where
- 1:39:15Speaker 2: it's just like super random, like horror films that you're
- 1:39:18Speaker 2: never going to watch. Never even heard of.
- 1:39:20Speaker 7: And it's just like super graphic stuff where they just
- 1:39:23Speaker 7: like hit you over the head for a good half
- 1:39:25Speaker 7: hour before the movie starts. And it's not even like
- 1:39:28Speaker 7: in the same realm of something that you're about to watch.
- 1:39:30Speaker 2: This just went.
- 1:39:31Speaker 3: I thought all the previews were matched to whatever.
- 1:39:34Speaker 2: Movie you were watching.
- 1:39:35Speaker 6: Tell me if you agree with this because I've been
- 1:39:37Speaker 6: noticing for years.
- 1:39:38Speaker 2: Stupid guys like Meggie love it.
- 1:39:40Speaker 6: If you go to a comedy movie, you will see
- 1:39:42Speaker 6: a lot of horror movie trailers and vice versa. If
- 1:39:45Speaker 6: you go to horror, it's a lot of like slapstick comedy.
- 1:39:48Speaker 6: Like those are the same person.
- 1:39:49Speaker 2: Why?
- 1:39:50Speaker 6: They think the same people are going to watch both movies.
- 1:39:53Speaker 2: Really?
- 1:39:53Speaker 3: I'm not. There must be stats on that. They test everything.
- 1:39:56Speaker 6: Comedy and horror.
- 1:39:57Speaker 2: It is the worst. You just see horrific things for
- 1:40:00Speaker 2: a good 30 minutes. You're going to haunt your dreams, Ron.
- 1:40:03Speaker 5: I think it's just the sheer volume of trailers because
- 1:40:06Speaker 5: after 35 minutes, you'd think there cannot possibly be.
- 1:40:10Speaker 7: Another movie coming out about somebody's eyeball getting ripped out.
- 1:40:14Speaker 3: If they were smart, what they would do is they
- 1:40:16Speaker 3: would start doing it more like roulette where every.
- 1:40:20Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 1:40:20Speaker 3: Every X number of showings, there's only two previews and
- 1:40:23Speaker 3: then the movie starts right away.
- 1:40:24Speaker 6: That'd be awesome.
- 1:40:25Speaker 2: And that way you don't know. Because now it's like, oh,
- 1:40:27Speaker 2: there's at least 30 minutes of previews.
- 1:40:29Speaker 3: I can get there X number of minutes late.
- 1:40:30Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah.
- 1:40:31Speaker 2: And then when you get there, you're like, oh, man,
- 1:40:33Speaker 2: the movie's already started because you thought it would be
- 1:40:35Speaker 2: 30 minutes.
- 1:40:35Speaker 3: They're like, ah, suckers.
- 1:40:37Speaker 2: Gotcha.
- 1:40:37Speaker 3: That's the way they get people to still come in
- 1:40:40Speaker 3: and see all the stuff. Because sometimes it's two. Other
- 1:40:43Speaker 3: times it'll be a hundred.
- 1:40:45Speaker 2: Before, I didn't.
- 1:40:45Speaker 7: Mind sitting there for a half hour because I wanted
- 1:40:47Speaker 7: to see what was coming up next. But now it's
- 1:40:49Speaker 7: just like just straight up gore.
- 1:40:53Speaker 6: Now that's what I call interesting.
- 1:40:55Speaker 2: Who's that? Is that one of your ladies from the... Yolk.com.
- 1:40:59Speaker 6: Golden Bachelor.
- 1:41:00Speaker 3: Oh, Sebastian.
- 1:41:02Speaker 2: I don't think anybody knows how this shit works. Yeah, yeah.
- 1:41:04Speaker 2: All right, what's next? All right, it's from Jeff G.
- 1:41:06Speaker 4: All right.
- 1:41:08Speaker 2: I gotta give up sweets.
- 1:41:10Speaker 5: It's a problem.
- 1:41:11Speaker 2: I don't drink or smoke, but sweets are my crack. Ooh. Yeah.
- 1:41:17Speaker 2: Now that's what I call interesting.
- 1:41:19Speaker 3: Usually you give me a point.
- 1:41:22Speaker 2: That's how the bit works, is you play it when
- 1:41:24Speaker 2: it's first said, not after we discussed it for a
- 1:41:25Speaker 2: long time. I know that may not be interesting. There
- 1:41:27Speaker 2: wasn't a point. Oh, okay, sorry. Usually you give me the...
- 1:41:29Speaker 2: It's my fault. You give me the point. Back to
- 1:41:31Speaker 2: Jeff G. Yeah, okay.
- 1:41:32Speaker 10: I know that may not be interesting to you, but
- 1:41:34Speaker 10: you should consider it to be interesting, because if I
- 1:41:38Speaker 10: eat too much sweets and I start letting out my
- 1:41:40Speaker 10: gas in that office.
- 1:41:41Speaker 2: We share, bro... It will become interesting to you.
- 1:41:44Speaker 6: But also, Seabass, I thought you have like a super
- 1:41:46Speaker 6: duper sweet tooth. So wouldn't you understand his pain?
- 1:41:49Speaker 2: No, I only do it when it's convenient. So like
- 1:41:52Speaker 2: I have no sweets at home whatsoever. But when you,
- 1:41:54Speaker 2: when you. Dude, if you had.
- 1:41:56Speaker 7: Sweets at home, you'd be 500 pounds.
- 1:41:58Speaker 2: Oh, I agree. Because you destroy them. He does. He
- 1:42:00Speaker 2: goes in hard. That's what I'm saying. That's exactly what
- 1:42:03Speaker 2: I'm saying.
- 1:42:04Speaker 3: You guys remember the great Twinkie debacle?
- 1:42:07Speaker 2: Of course. Of 2026. Two days ago. Right. Or 18 hours,
- 1:42:11Speaker 2: whatever the hell it was. Right.
- 1:42:14Speaker 3: So Jeff had one of those Twinkies as part of
- 1:42:16Speaker 3: that taste test.
- 1:42:17Speaker 2: Right.
- 1:42:17Speaker 3: Ruined the rest of his day.
- 1:42:18Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 1:42:19Speaker 2: The one Twinkie.
- 1:42:20Speaker 7: Why it's interesting because I'm like, what can Jeff even eat?
- 1:42:23Speaker 2: Because it's like- Honestly, nothing, man. Nothing, dude. It sucks.
- 1:42:27Speaker 2: And I mentioned- He's got that bag of bread.
- 1:42:29Speaker 7: You need to do one of those like crazy rich guy-
- 1:42:32Speaker 7: where they just like test every single thing.
- 1:42:34Speaker 10: Well, let me stop you there because you started with
- 1:42:35Speaker 10: rich guys, so I won't be taking the test.
- 1:42:38Speaker 6: Have you ever done the poop in a box and
- 1:42:40Speaker 6: have it analyzed?
- 1:42:41Speaker 2: I've done proper colonoscopies, yeah.
- 1:42:43Speaker 6: But have you done like where they analyze your stool sample?
- 1:42:45Speaker 6: Because that could be interesting.
- 1:42:47Speaker 3: Has anybody done a taste test?
- 1:42:50Speaker 2: Taste test? Of the stool. Yeah.
- 1:42:52Speaker 6: Oh, I mean, I've done the stool sample thing and
- 1:42:54Speaker 6: it was fascinating, but.
- 1:42:56Speaker 2: It took me a year to do it because I'm
- 1:42:57Speaker 2: so scared. Yeah, the doctor takes it, puts it on
- 1:42:58Speaker 2: his finger, rubs it on his gums. You can't eat Twinkie.
- 1:43:00Speaker 2: Like they do it in movies. Yeah, but Woody. Like Coke.
- 1:43:02Speaker 2: Just like rub it on.
- 1:43:03Speaker 7: Woody, you know what I'm talking about, though. Like, we
- 1:43:05Speaker 7: know those rich guys that are always like pushing that like.
- 1:43:08Speaker 3: Oh, the blood thing where, you know.
- 1:43:09Speaker 10: Yeah.
- 1:43:10Speaker 6: Fun blood.
- 1:43:10Speaker 3: These are green list foods, yellow list food, red list foods.
- 1:43:14Speaker 2: Yeah. So dumb.
- 1:43:15Speaker 6: Do that, Jeff.
- 1:43:16Speaker 2: Yeah, everything's red at this point, bro.
- 1:43:18Speaker 6: At least we know you're not gluten sensitive.
- 1:43:20Speaker 2: All right, Seabass, give me one more. Okay, well, Sammy's
- 1:43:22Speaker 2: got to have it for us. Here she is. Sammy,
- 1:43:25Speaker 2: do people regularly change up the food and treats they
- 1:43:28Speaker 2: give their dog?
- 1:43:29Speaker 6: Yeah, okay.
- 1:43:31Speaker 2: Now that's what I call interesting. That was a very
- 1:43:38Speaker 2: aggressive point. I had to make sure you got it.
- 1:43:41Speaker 4: I do want to know because I don't with my dog.
- 1:43:44Speaker 4: And I don't know if she's getting bored or she
- 1:43:46Speaker 4: doesn't like the treats that she has anymore.
- 1:43:48Speaker 6: Because she doesn't.
- 1:43:50Speaker 4: Seymour Willie's been convincing me she needed new treats. He's
- 1:43:53Speaker 4: got her all new treats. And now I'm convinced that
- 1:43:55Speaker 4: she's going to get fat because she's not used to
- 1:43:57Speaker 4: these types of treats that she's now getting.
- 1:43:59Speaker 2: Easy.
- 1:43:59Speaker 3: Feed the dog the cat. Get rid of the cat.
- 1:44:03Speaker 6: Pieces of cat.
- 1:44:04Speaker 3: Feed the cat to the dog. You don't have to
- 1:44:05Speaker 3: worry about the cat anymore.
- 1:44:07Speaker 4: But the dog might still get fat because she's not
- 1:44:09Speaker 4: used to eating cat.
- 1:44:10Speaker 2: Oh, very lean meat. Or diarrhea.
- 1:44:12Speaker 7: No, Sammy, like, yeah, if I would change up any, like,
- 1:44:16Speaker 7: type of treats, like, they would start barfing everywhere.
- 1:44:19Speaker 3: Or be like, Jeff, have a Twinkie.
- 1:44:20Speaker 4: That's the thing is I didn't know if it was
- 1:44:22Speaker 4: food or treats.
- 1:44:22Speaker 6: Does she still go crazy over it, over treats? Or
- 1:44:25Speaker 6: is she like, eh, take it or leave it?
- 1:44:26Speaker 4: Well, sometimes it's eh, and that is because she's getting
- 1:44:29Speaker 4: a taste of different types of treats now, and now
- 1:44:30Speaker 4: she wants the other ones, but I think they're higher
- 1:44:32Speaker 4: in fat content.
- 1:44:33Speaker 6: Here's what you do, because this is what I just
- 1:44:35Speaker 6: learned having made this big mistake. Don't change the brand.
- 1:44:38Speaker 6: Change the flavor. Stick with the same brand. Just do
- 1:44:40Speaker 6: a different flavor.
- 1:44:41Speaker 2: Now, you love Trader Joe's.
- 1:44:42Speaker 7: There's a treat that my dog's going crazy for, the
- 1:44:45Speaker 7: anchovy one.
- 1:44:46Speaker 2: Have you tried that? Oh, no. Oh, dude.
- 1:44:48Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:44:48Speaker 2: They go hammer for them. Amchovies. Is your dog Craig? Amchovies. Amchovies.
- 1:44:54Speaker 2: Let's eat it.
- 1:44:55Speaker 1: Dude.
- 1:44:55Speaker 2: I love anchovies.
- 1:44:57Speaker 7: Dude, the anchovy treats are so hot that I tried
- 1:45:00Speaker 7: it at a store and they're sold out.
- 1:45:01Speaker 2: Dude, them's lit. I would try that.
- 1:45:03Speaker 7: Dude, I didn't even know that they had like a
- 1:45:05Speaker 7: dog treat section at Trader Joe's. But then somebody told
- 1:45:09Speaker 7: me about it and about them Amtrovies. And dude, it's
- 1:45:13Speaker 7: dog approved.
- 1:45:14Speaker 2: Greg. That's what I call interesting. That's a double point
- 1:45:19Speaker 2: from Seaman.
- 1:45:21Speaker 6: If Metis brings those in will you try one even
- 1:45:23Speaker 6: though it's a dog treat absolutely Greg will try it Greg.
- 1:45:26Speaker 2: And I have done dog treats before yeah they're freeze dried.
- 1:45:29Speaker 3: They're violently disgusting instead of croutons you can put them
- 1:45:32Speaker 3: on yours.
- 1:45:32Speaker 5: Yeah they're probably way cheaper than.
- 1:45:35Speaker 2: The real thing and they got the heads on them
- 1:45:36Speaker 2: absolutely try that that's what.
- 1:45:37Speaker 4: My dog actually eats little minnows it's just fish that
- 1:45:40Speaker 4: are dried they're fish but they were the cat ones
- 1:45:43Speaker 4: and now.
- 1:45:43Speaker 2: She eats them and loves them these ones are for.
- 1:45:45Speaker 5: Dogs but I'm with Gina Sammy just change the flavor.
- 1:45:48Speaker 6: Like alternate between beef and chicken don't change the brand Okay.
- 1:45:51Speaker 2: Same brand.
- 1:45:51Speaker 3: Yeah, the way that CBass points.
- 1:45:53Speaker 2: Crisis averted.
- 1:45:54Speaker 3: The way that CBass points during this, it reminds me
- 1:45:56Speaker 3: of the Buddy Christ from Dogma.
- 1:45:58Speaker 2: Yeah. He's got... The A-okay. Well, he missed the first two, so... No, yeah.
- 1:46:03Speaker 2: I couldn't see past the... Sorry.
- 1:46:07Speaker 3: I apologize on the timing. I kind of... I respect this.
- 1:46:15Speaker 3: Much like I've talked about that homeless guy.
- 1:46:20Speaker 3: I saw years ago. He was always set up in
- 1:46:21Speaker 3: the same spot. He had that sign that said, I
- 1:46:23Speaker 3: bet you can't hit me.
- 1:46:24Speaker 2: With a quarter.
- 1:46:26Speaker 3: Or the ones like, need money for booze and drugs.
- 1:46:30Speaker 3: I'm more likely to give money to those guys.
- 1:46:33Speaker 2: Because they're cute. It's honest.
- 1:46:35Speaker 6: They're being honest.
- 1:46:36Speaker 2: Yeah, they're being honest.
- 1:46:37Speaker 3: This guy, I've seen a lot about him over the
- 1:46:39Speaker 3: last few days. It's this guy in British Columbia, Brady Rodgers.
- 1:46:45Speaker 3: He won a city council election, Seabass. Eat your heart out.
- 1:46:49Speaker 2: Oh, yeah.
- 1:46:50Speaker 3: He ran an entire campaign just openly admitting that he
- 1:46:53Speaker 3: had no clue what he was doing.
- 1:46:54Speaker 6: Oh, that's fun and refreshing.
- 1:46:56Speaker 3: His signs just said things like, just trying to pay
- 1:46:58Speaker 3: my rent. Other one said, how hard could it be?
- 1:47:01Speaker 2: Well, that's very true.
- 1:47:02Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:47:03Speaker 3: Brady Rogers for city council. How hard could it be?
- 1:47:05Speaker 2: Love that.
- 1:47:06Speaker 3: This one said, let's see what happens.
- 1:47:08Speaker 2: Sure.
- 1:47:10Speaker 3: Another one said, I barely want to do this.
- 1:47:14Speaker 2: Yeah. And he won. Oh, I love that. Because the
- 1:47:17Speaker 2: average city council person, you don't know who they are.
- 1:47:19Speaker 2: You don't know what they do. It literally could be
- 1:47:21Speaker 2: filled by a donkey. Yeah.
- 1:47:23Speaker 3: Now he's, I don't know what this would pay.
- 1:47:25Speaker 2: The one that you were running for was a base salary.
- 1:47:29Speaker 2: Because again, this was part of my platform. It would
- 1:47:31Speaker 2: have been. Of $ 211, 000. Total pay and benefits was around
- 1:47:37Speaker 2: $ 260, 000 a year. And there are about 15 of these
- 1:47:40Speaker 2: just in the city. And the mayor on top of
- 1:47:42Speaker 2: that makes about $ 350, 000 a year. Wait, so the mayor
- 1:47:45Speaker 2: makes $ 350, 000. Which is, by the way, insane. A city
- 1:47:47Speaker 2: council member makes over $ 200, 000. The mayor makes $ 300, 000. Right,
- 1:47:51Speaker 2: which is insane. That's weird.
- 1:47:53Speaker 3: I would think there would be more of a.
- 1:47:54Speaker 2: Well, because....
- 1:47:56Speaker 3: Like a mayor's an everyday job. The city council job
- 1:47:58Speaker 3: is what?
- 1:47:59Speaker 2: Is jack nothing. It's two hours a week, maybe. But
- 1:48:03Speaker 2: it's just voting on crap that they're already given to.
- 1:48:05Speaker 6: So had you gone in, would you have just destroyed
- 1:48:07Speaker 6: it from the inside?
- 1:48:08Speaker 2: Oh, it would have been exposing all this garbage, like
- 1:48:11Speaker 2: all this stuff.
- 1:48:11Speaker 3: Like, how much are we getting paid?
- 1:48:12Speaker 2: This is the work we do? So bummed. I know.
- 1:48:15Speaker 2: Stupid signature company. This guy, according to ye olde internet search, B.C.
- 1:48:20Speaker 2: city councilor is $ 106, 000 a year. That's pretty good. That's
- 1:48:22Speaker 2: pretty good. Now, how do you make more money on
- 1:48:24Speaker 2: top of that? Well, legally. Well, here's the, how's that work?
- 1:48:29Speaker 2: The classic route is you are a city councilor, and
- 1:48:31Speaker 2: if you can't be mayor, because, you know, not everybody
- 1:48:33Speaker 2: can be mayor. Then you while you're city councilor, you
- 1:48:36Speaker 2: make a lot of connections to firms that are that
- 1:48:38Speaker 2: have city contracts. And then you go because, you know,
- 1:48:41Speaker 2: now everybody in City Hall, you then go work for
- 1:48:43Speaker 2: those firms after you're done as a city councilor, because
- 1:48:45Speaker 2: now you have an inside track to get contracts, jobs, etc.
- 1:48:48Speaker 6: You're just networking, inviting your time.
- 1:48:50Speaker 2: That's at all levels of government. You hear that. You
- 1:48:53Speaker 2: see that nationally as well. I could always go to
- 1:48:54Speaker 2: the private sector.
- 1:48:55Speaker 1: Right.
- 1:48:55Speaker 2: Exactly. It's just this back and forth pipeline of self-dealing.
- 1:48:59Speaker 3: I know, dude, he was a congressman and now he's
- 1:49:01Speaker 3: a consultant.
- 1:49:02Speaker 2: Right. And gets paid big money to be a consultant.
- 1:49:04Speaker 2: Because you have all the ins. You got everybody's phone number.
- 1:49:06Speaker 2: You can get access.
- 1:49:07Speaker 3: You're on a board here. Two of my dreams. You're
- 1:49:10Speaker 3: a consultant over there.
- 1:49:11Speaker 6: That's my dream, to be a consultant and to be
- 1:49:13Speaker 6: on the board of a director's for anything.
- 1:49:14Speaker 2: Where you work two days a year.
- 1:49:15Speaker 6: I don't even know what it is. I don't care.
- 1:49:17Speaker 3: Now, this guy, in fairness, not a total idiot. He
- 1:49:19Speaker 3: used to work as a robotic automation engineer.
- 1:49:23Speaker 2: Oh, okay.
- 1:49:23Speaker 1: That's nice.
- 1:49:23Speaker 3: And now runs a business that turns plastic waste into
- 1:49:26Speaker 3: new products.
- 1:49:27Speaker 2: Oh.
- 1:49:28Speaker 3: And he swears he takes the job seriously?
- 1:49:30Speaker 2: Like, oh yeah, totally. Yeah, okay. I would love to invest.
- 1:49:33Speaker 7: Have you seen these yet? The kiosks where it's a
- 1:49:36Speaker 7: robotic arm that makes coffee?
- 1:49:38Speaker 6: That's your dream.
- 1:49:40Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:49:40Speaker 3: What do you mean that if you have like a Keurig?
- 1:49:44Speaker 2: No, like they have them in public spaces. So it's
- 1:49:46Speaker 2: a spectacle. Yeah, so people like the bartenders. Yeah, yeah.
- 1:49:50Speaker 2: It's pretty cool.
- 1:49:51Speaker 3: I wonder how much that costs. I thought the robot
- 1:49:53Speaker 3: bartender thing that you would see.
- 1:49:55Speaker 2: Look pretty cool. Yeah, look cool. Man, not efficient.
- 1:49:58Speaker 3: Oh, yeah.
- 1:49:59Speaker 1: Oh, really?
- 1:49:59Speaker 3: Oh, dude, you wait forever.
- 1:50:01Speaker 7: Yeah, it's the spectacle, but it's half an hour to wait.
- 1:50:03Speaker 7: But these coffee ones, dude, they bang them out pretty quick.
- 1:50:05Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 1:50:06Speaker 2: Yeah. I like it. Kiosk size. But yeah, Woody's right.
- 1:50:09Speaker 2: We've solved this technology. It's called pod. Right, yeah.
- 1:50:12Speaker 3: It's like the little espresso.
- 1:50:14Speaker 2: Boom, one button.
- 1:50:15Speaker 3: I'm seeing them online, man. But I get that like
- 1:50:17Speaker 3: if it's out in public.
- 1:50:18Speaker 2: You can see it. Yeah, I'm seeing 55 grand. You
- 1:50:22Speaker 2: want to go in?
- 1:50:22Speaker 1: No. No.
- 1:50:23Speaker 2: Okay. How many cups of coffee would it take to
- 1:50:25Speaker 2: get that back?
- 1:50:26Speaker 7: The only thing I'm afraid of, oh, dude, they sell
- 1:50:28Speaker 7: them for like eight bucks a piece and people are
- 1:50:30Speaker 7: like lined up.
- 1:50:31Speaker 2: I saw this just to watch the arm. The Roblox, sorry.
- 1:50:33Speaker 2: Speaking of easy money, I saw this, you know, people
- 1:50:35Speaker 2: love little novelty treats, right? Sure.
- 1:50:38Speaker 3: Kind of same deal where people go out and they
- 1:50:41Speaker 3: find like some place where there's just a lot of
- 1:50:42Speaker 3: foot traffic and they set this thing up. It's a
- 1:50:44Speaker 3: spinning frozen cylinder. It just kind of spins. And they
- 1:50:48Speaker 3: drizzle what is, you know, like a cream, like the
- 1:50:51Speaker 3: ice cream mix over top of it.
- 1:50:53Speaker 2: And what it does, it instantly freezes it and makes
- 1:50:56Speaker 2: it almost like a, it looks like a big, long,
- 1:50:58Speaker 2: like julienne cut, kind of real thin.
- 1:51:01Speaker 3: And the way that it goes into the dish, so
- 1:51:03Speaker 3: you have like, they said 40 cents per serving is
- 1:51:06Speaker 3: your actual cost. And they sell these things for like
- 1:51:08Speaker 3: nine bucks.
- 1:51:08Speaker 6: I don't get it. I gotta look this up.
- 1:51:10Speaker 2: What is it? It's just the machine that makes the
- 1:51:12Speaker 2: ice cream. Have you seen those ice cream setups where
- 1:51:15Speaker 2: It's just a really cold piece of metal and they
- 1:51:17Speaker 2: put like a real thin. I love that. And they
- 1:51:19Speaker 2: do the curls.
- 1:51:20Speaker 6: I love that.
- 1:51:21Speaker 3: It's the same thing, but instead of the curls, it's
- 1:51:23Speaker 3: little like shreds, almost like you put paper through a shredder.
- 1:51:27Speaker 3: So as they, and you see it as they do it,
- 1:51:29Speaker 3: they drizzle on top so people get to watch. You
- 1:51:31Speaker 3: drizzle it on a little frozen cylinder and it spits
- 1:51:34Speaker 3: it out into the dish. Just turn it and put
- 1:51:36Speaker 3: things on there. 40 cents a serving to sell for,
- 1:51:39Speaker 3: you know, almost 10 bucks.
- 1:51:40Speaker 6: This is no maker 2000.
- 1:51:41Speaker 2: Crazy.
- 1:51:43Speaker 3: And people are like, you buy this and you just
- 1:51:46Speaker 3: set up in a place, you know, like a Farmer's market.
- 1:51:50Speaker 6: At a festival, yeah.
- 1:51:51Speaker 3: Every kid will want one.
- 1:51:52Speaker 2: It's like those dumb Dippin' Dots. Same thing. It's just
- 1:51:55Speaker 2: a weird way to eat ice cream. I saw one
- 1:51:57Speaker 2: that does cotton candy like this where it makes it
- 1:51:58Speaker 2: in front of you and I can see those online
- 1:52:00Speaker 2: for only four grand minutes. Because the coffee robot thing,
- 1:52:03Speaker 2: the only thing I'm afraid.
- 1:52:04Speaker 7: Of is the arm goes down.
- 1:52:07Speaker 2: I'm not a robotics major.
- 1:52:09Speaker 3: Where do you call to get that fixed?

- 1:53:18Speaker 5: Yeah, always remember who the F you are and let
- 1:53:21Speaker 5: them think whatever the F they want.
- 1:53:23Speaker 3: Dude, that is, God, that has been, that's been my
- 1:53:27Speaker 3: marching order for decades now.
- 1:53:30Speaker 2: Yeah. Who cares?
- 1:53:32Speaker 3: You're free to say and think whatever you want of me,
- 1:53:34Speaker 3: as long as what you're basing that on is actually true,
- 1:53:38Speaker 3: something I've said or something I've done.
- 1:53:40Speaker 2: Right. And then at that point, whatever you've labeled me as,
- 1:53:43Speaker 2: go for it. Think it. Have a great time.
- 1:53:45Speaker 5: That's why, Woody, you are the inspiration for those words.
- 1:53:49Speaker 3: Not just to hear say you heard something, heard about something.
- 1:53:52Speaker 3: You actually heard me say or saw me do something,
- 1:53:56Speaker 3: and you got your opinion.
- 1:53:57Speaker 2: Great. Awesome. That's good for you. Yep. All right. Thank
- 1:54:00Speaker 2: you very much, Greg Gorey. You got it, Woody.
- 1:54:02Speaker 3: Thank you so much for giving The Woody Show some
- 1:54:04Speaker 3: of your valuable time this morning.
- 1:54:06Speaker 2: You know we love and appreciate you for that. The
- 1:54:08Speaker 2: rest of you guys can suck it. Catch you back
- 1:54:10Speaker 2: here on Thursday. Have a great day. SMD double M.
- 1:54:13Speaker 2: I quit this bitch.
