Birmingham Stallions are set to get a brand-new home stadium by 2029, thanks to billionaire owner Mike Repole’s bold plan to build a facility on 100 acres in Trussville, Vestavia, or Hoover—designed for 8,000 to 12,000 fans, not the 47,000 seats at Protective Stadium. The new venue will also host the Birmingham Legion soccer team and include hotels and restaurants, with the Michigan Panthers vs. Stallions opener slated for 2029.
