  Well, that's a nurse. And that nurse, which we've grown very fond of, her name is Shay.

  And she just recently won the

  Daisy Award. It's an acknowledgement that reflects the heart of nursing.

  It's compassion, dedication, excellence in patient care.

  And we here at Have Faith, Let It Begin, especially my family,

  would like to just say congratulations, and I am so happy that you have received that award.

  You're a sweetheart, and you were a huge instrument in helping my wife deliver Noah.

  So that's also a segue into what we're going to talk about today.

  Each day we go to work, we do a job, and when we go do a job,
• 2:14
  we do it to the best of our abilities.
• 2:17
  And many of us, when we're out there, we give our job our all.
• 2:23
  We give it 110%.
• 2:26
  And that's what we only ask of you in life.

  Give your family 110%. Give yourself 110%. Give the Lord 110%.

  Always remember that the gift that has been given to you by the gift of life,

  the gift that you have, which is a talent.

  Allows you the opportunity to go out each day and do something for someone.

  By doing our jobs and what we're paid to do, by doing what you love to do, hopefully, right?

  Not everybody likes their job, let's be honest. But if you do your job and you
• 3:08
  do it to the best of your ability, it allows others to reap that reward.

  And I've said it here a thousand times. I sound like a broken record to some
• 3:17
  and I understand, but it needs to be repeated.

  When we go out into the world and we do what we do best,

  it makes the world a better place now you

  could sit back and say well angel i really don't like my
• 3:29
  boss i really don't like the job that person doesn't make the job fun or the

  environment doesn't make the job fun i understand believe me i understand if
• 3:40
  you look back into the other archives of my episodes you'll hear the stories

  of what i went through in my job that i loved and how I almost quit,
• 3:49
  how it put me in a depression.

  It got me angry. I took it out on people.
• 3:55
  And at the end of the day, I didn't do one thing that I know if I could go back in time, I would.

  And that's number one, pray for the persons that were doing wrong to me.

  Number two, turn the other cheek.

  And number three, concentrate what was in my control, in my environment.

  And lastly, always remember that if you're right and you're rude, then you're wrong.

  Think about that day, think about that message, think about today as you go about your day.

  And let us remember to heal ourselves, to heal one another, and to create our

  environment to be a safe, willing,

  and understanding that we all need to get along. Let's pray.

  Heavenly Father, we thank you for all that you continue to give us.

  Lord, we know that each and every day is not promised.

  What we do know is that loving you and honoring you and accepting you in our

  hearts and our lives puts us on a different path, an amazing path, because with God,

  through God, all things are possible.

  We pray this today as we continue to lift you up in prayer.
