- 0:23Speaker 1: It is time to leave your worries outside and laugh
- 0:27Speaker 1: with us inside the Treehouse. I'm Daniel Mallley, along with
- 0:31Speaker 1: Trey Trenholm and Raj Sharma on Wednesday, Wednesday, November thirteenth,
- 0:38Speaker 1: twoy twenty four, just a couple of weeks away from Thanksgiving.
- 0:47Speaker 1: I believe we have a lot to be thankful for
- 0:49Speaker 1: here inside the Treehouse, not the least of which is you,
- 0:52Speaker 1: the very very fine listener of this program. We appreciate
- 0:56Speaker 1: you very very much, and I think we can also
- 1:00Speaker 1: be glad and thankful that we're not in Russia. Yes,
- 1:07Speaker 1: just kind of in general, not really high on my
- 1:10Speaker 1: places that I would like to visit someday. But more specifically,
- 1:15Speaker 1: I don't feel like being conscripted into the Russian army
- 1:18Speaker 1: and fighting an a war that I don't want to
- 1:20Speaker 1: be in. But don't tell that to the soldiers of
- 1:25Speaker 1: North Korea that are currently in Russia fighting alongside Russian soldiers, because,
- 1:37Speaker 1: apparently North Korean soldiers, they are prepared to die in
- 1:43Speaker 1: Russia if called to do so. However, while most people
- 1:52Speaker 1: might think that it would be dying in service to
- 1:59Speaker 1: which ill im on. Whatever the jerk's name is Kim
- 2:07Speaker 1: John Un, Kim Jong una.
- 2:10Speaker 2: Ill was the father, that's right.
- 2:12Speaker 1: Yeah, based on the news we heard a few days ago,
- 2:20Speaker 1: I don't think that the Korean soldiers are ready to
- 2:22Speaker 1: die for dear leader Kim Jong un Trey. Why do
- 2:28Speaker 1: you think they're so prepared to die in Russia?
- 2:33Speaker 3: Because they found the promised land.
- 2:40Speaker 1: Let that sink in North Korea is so bad that
- 2:45Speaker 1: North Korean soldiers are loving it in Russia, and probably
- 2:50Speaker 1: not so much for the weather or the airbnb's or
- 2:52Speaker 1: the buffets, but instead the porn that you know that
- 2:57Speaker 1: they are just abs so ablutely tearing themselves up for,
- 3:06Speaker 1: because in North Korea you don't get that, uh, And
- 3:10Speaker 1: I don't I don't think in North Korea they're familiar
- 3:12Speaker 1: with VPNs the way that those of us in Texas
- 3:16Speaker 1: have had to become very familiar with trying to skirt
- 3:18Speaker 1: around those stupid loss because once once the North Korean soldiers,
- 3:24Speaker 1: as we reported here inside the Treehouse, we're a hard
- 3:26Speaker 1: news network, by the way, once the North Korean soldiers
- 3:33Speaker 1: got into Russia, the whole world of online entertainment opened
- 3:38Speaker 1: up to them like a beautiful flower or like Jenner Presley.
- 3:48Speaker 3: Yeah, they're probably getting like one meal a day and
- 3:51Speaker 3: porn and there they can die happy.
- 3:53Speaker 1: Now oh yeah, they got food in their bellies, yeah,
- 3:58Speaker 1: and pooring everywhere else a.
- 4:00Speaker 2: Little bors and porn hub. That's a solid day.
- 4:04Speaker 1: I mean, it really was. The headline was just a
- 4:06Speaker 1: few days ago, North Korean soldiers gorging themselves with adult
- 4:11Speaker 1: content while stationed in Russia. And so when you see
- 4:16Speaker 1: a headline like this, why North Korean soldiers are prepared
- 4:21Speaker 1: to die in Russia? We know the answer is for
- 4:25Speaker 1: the porn. And if if we're being honest, as the
- 4:32Speaker 1: three three heterosexual dudes kind of get it. I understand
- 4:38Speaker 1: it well.
- 4:38Speaker 3: Especially growing up in the eighties where all of us,
- 4:41Speaker 3: you know, going back to the days when you had
- 4:45Speaker 3: a VHF and UHF you know, knob on your TV
- 4:49Speaker 3: and the UHF around midnight Channel forty one here generally
- 4:53Speaker 3: that you know, would you would all of a sudden
- 4:55Speaker 3: be the scrambled scrambled softcore. But you know, if you
- 4:58Speaker 3: you played with that dial just right, you might see
- 5:01Speaker 3: a nipple. And that was the Promised Land. And that's
- 5:04Speaker 3: that's all North Koreans have had for years.
- 5:08Speaker 1: It's also the reason why you wear glasses because you
- 5:11Speaker 1: sent you spent so much time trade looking between those
- 5:14Speaker 1: scrambled pink and blue and green lines on the television
- 5:18Speaker 1: just to see one nip him out, And why you
- 5:25Speaker 1: wear glasses?
- 5:27Speaker 2: Yes, uh, you played with that dial and you got
- 5:30Speaker 2: to play with your dial, so that's.
- 5:32Speaker 4: Yeah, we were playing with the dial. You were playing
- 5:33Speaker 4: with your big pencil.
- 5:39Speaker 2: Did it say Danny too.
- 5:43Speaker 1: I just appreciate you saying my name is big in
- 5:46Speaker 1: the same sentence.
- 5:51Speaker 2: I'm just saying, and porn is a solid Monday.
- 5:56Speaker 1: I mean, do you want to go back to North
- 5:58Speaker 1: Korea after you've been enlightened to the world of porn,
- 6:02Speaker 1: when when your eyes have been opened wider than Houston
- 6:05Speaker 1: at a Bukaki party.
- 6:08Speaker 2: Just say, like, you know, it was one Russian soldier
- 6:10Speaker 2: that was like, hey, man, come here, let me show
- 6:12Speaker 2: you something. And then he showed that one guy and
- 6:14Speaker 2: he was like, I'll be right back. Yeah. It's like
- 6:19Speaker 2: I have nine hundred more people to show this too.
- 6:22Speaker 1: Oh yeah, oh definitely. And Trey, you bring up a
- 6:25Speaker 1: You bring up a great point that I want to
- 6:27Speaker 1: make with this story with North Korean soldiers absolutely gorging
- 6:32Speaker 1: themselves on porn while stationed in Russia. Is we are
- 6:36Speaker 1: all children of the eighties here in the treehouse. So
- 6:39Speaker 1: we started with the scrambled TV porn. We had to
- 6:42Speaker 1: look between the lines, or you had to find a
- 6:44Speaker 1: buddy's Dad's magazine, or all these different methods in which
- 6:49Speaker 1: you would learn and see adult things. And then we
- 6:56Speaker 1: had the slow progression into where we are now, which
- 6:59Speaker 1: is on demand porn anytime, all the time, whenever you want,
- 7:01Speaker 1: ready to go when you are. These North Korean soldiers
- 7:04Speaker 1: didn't have that gradual build up, No, it was it
- 7:10Speaker 1: was they just they got to Russia and one day,
- 7:14Speaker 1: one day the skies opened up and it was like
- 7:18Speaker 1: a golden light from porn hubs shown out of the
- 7:22Speaker 1: phone that the Russian soldier were showing them, and they
- 7:25Speaker 1: lost their damn minds.
- 7:27Speaker 3: Well, but think about it, because you're you're talking. We
- 7:30Speaker 3: had let's go back serious catalog, Victoria's secret catalog sneaking
- 7:35Speaker 3: your dad's Playboy, then scrambled you know, the scrambled nipple,
- 7:39Speaker 3: then softcore, the Emmanuel movies and all that other stuff.
- 7:43Speaker 1: Then and holding out for an HBO free movie weekend
- 7:46Speaker 1: or eat better, an HBO Cinemax free movie weekend, Oh my.
- 7:50Speaker 3: God, then VHS, then DVD and then pouring on demand.
- 7:54Speaker 3: I mean, there were a lot of levels that Yo,
- 7:58Speaker 3: the mountain we had to climb to get to where
- 8:00Speaker 3: we are. Now they just you know, got thrown to
- 8:02Speaker 3: the top and now they're jumping off.
- 8:04Speaker 1: Yeah, there's a reason why they say you need to
- 8:08Speaker 1: ease people into things, because it's a sudden jolt to
- 8:11Speaker 1: the senses to be overwhelmed with all this stuff. I mean,
- 8:17Speaker 1: that's that's there's a reason why when you get released
- 8:20Speaker 1: from prison, they put you in a halfway house first,
- 8:22Speaker 1: because you're not ready to go all the way in
- 8:24Speaker 1: or back into society. You gotta kind of ease it
- 8:27Speaker 1: in the same day to North Korea, they were just
- 8:30Speaker 1: thrown into the porn hub.
- 8:31Speaker 2: And so would you just want to get them like
- 8:35Speaker 2: before before the North Koreans got the porn on the phone,
- 8:39Speaker 2: you wanted to give them like a laser disc or like.
- 8:42Speaker 1: Some good to get them prepared a little bit, because
- 8:46Speaker 1: I mean, that's that's a lot to that's a lot,
- 8:51Speaker 1: that's a lot to take in, that's a lot to handle.
- 8:54Speaker 2: Yeah, and then you've got to find out like what
- 8:57Speaker 2: you're like, that's a weird way to find out what
- 8:59Speaker 2: you're in to, like in the midst of war, be like, hey,
- 9:03Speaker 2: you know what, I know, there's people shooting at us,
- 9:05Speaker 2: but that dude's got great feet, like you know, like
- 9:08Speaker 2: that's a weird that's a weird juxtaposition, right, Like, I
- 9:11Speaker 2: know he's trying to kill me, But.
- 9:14Speaker 4: I was just thinking the ending of Shawshank could have
- 9:17Speaker 4: really changed Red was here.
- 9:32Speaker 1: I want to hit the go home music so bad.

- 12:10Speaker 1: North Korean soldier or just any other person with a
- 12:13Speaker 1: cell phone running around with you know, Wi Fi and
- 12:16Speaker 1: being able to look at whatever it is you want
- 12:17Speaker 1: to on your phone, it might be time for a
- 12:20Speaker 1: digital detox. I know, I will freely admit, I will
- 12:24Speaker 1: raise my hand. I spend way too much time on
- 12:25Speaker 1: my phone. I will justify it wrongly or rightly, I
- 12:32Speaker 1: don't know, but I try to justify it by saying
- 12:35Speaker 1: a lot of it's for work, because if it wasn't
- 12:37Speaker 1: for the job that we do here, I don't think
- 12:40Speaker 1: I would spend near as much time online or on
- 12:43Speaker 1: my phone that I do. That being said, I'm still
- 12:48Speaker 1: on it too damn much, and Rager're giving me the
- 12:51Speaker 1: smirk like get the.
- 12:52Speaker 7: F out of here.
- 12:53Speaker 2: Yeah, I think you would be work is a good excuse.
- 12:58Speaker 2: And I do the same because I'm like, well, I
- 13:00Speaker 2: got to look at stuff because I have to put
- 13:02Speaker 2: it on my Instagram because that's how I'm building the
- 13:05Speaker 2: followers and blah blah blah blah blah.
- 13:06Speaker 7: Right.
- 13:07Speaker 2: But then there's times where like it's just you know,
- 13:09Speaker 2: at night, and I'm just going down a YouTube rabbit
- 13:12Speaker 2: hole of fun stuff that I but I'm doing this
- 13:18Speaker 2: thing now where I actively like put my phone down
- 13:20Speaker 2: or put it across the room, uh, and and leave it.
- 13:24Speaker 2: Leave it be.
- 13:25Speaker 1: So I think that's why. Yeah, I think that's wise.
- 13:27Speaker 1: And look, and we've talked a lot about those North
- 13:30Speaker 1: Korean soldiers in Russia who are gorging themselves on porn. Uh,
- 13:34Speaker 1: they could use a digital detox. And I'll admit that
- 13:37Speaker 1: I could probably use a digital detox. But I'm really
- 13:41Speaker 1: curious to see if Google releases the trends that the
- 13:44Speaker 1: North Korean soldiers have been searching horn or otherwise. I'm
- 13:50Speaker 1: just curious, if you've never had Internet before, what do
- 13:52Speaker 1: you suddenly start searching. I'm curious to see that, and
- 13:54Speaker 1: I would absolutely look at that, but I would also
- 13:57Speaker 1: justify it by saying, well, it's for work.
- 13:59Speaker 3: Well, I think the North Koreans are safe from Google
- 14:02Speaker 3: in Russia, being that you know Russia, Levy, that was
- 14:05Speaker 3: it like des a million?
- 14:07Speaker 1: Uh, yeah, they they well, they didn't like that Google
- 14:11Speaker 1: was shadow banning or outright banning some of their state
- 14:15Speaker 1: run media accounts. So I don't know if Google works
- 14:18Speaker 1: in Russia whatever the the equivalent to Google is in
- 14:22Speaker 1: Russia Google, I don't know. I didn't write anything for this.
- 14:28Speaker 1: I would like to know what it is they're searching for.
- 14:30Speaker 2: I'm curious they did in prison, like the guy who
- 14:32Speaker 2: founded their version of Facebook. Uh, he has been imprisoned.
- 14:37Speaker 1: As well, so I don't say.
- 14:39Speaker 2: Yeah, so I don't think you're gonna be able to
- 14:41Speaker 2: add him as a friend. But I don't know what
- 14:44Speaker 2: the whatever their server is. Obviously, the Russian military showed
- 14:50Speaker 2: the North Korean's porn and now I'm assuming they didn't
- 14:54Speaker 2: understand like the monster that they would create by doing.
- 14:58Speaker 1: This, but including the porn with mon.
- 15:01Speaker 2: Yeah again, like that's when you find out you're in
- 15:03Speaker 2: the weird stuff.
- 15:05Speaker 4: Well do they?
- 15:10Speaker 3: Because the Japanese are notoriously into some weird stuff because
- 15:15Speaker 3: it's it's Asian did did they automatically go to that
- 15:17Speaker 3: really weird stuff or or did they gradually you know,
- 15:21Speaker 3: build up yeah.
- 15:23Speaker 1: Or did they start with the South Korean baseball cheerleaders.
- 15:28Speaker 2: Could be but as soon as they get to like
- 15:31Speaker 2: the varying different sizes of of porn stars uh junk
- 15:37Speaker 2: that is out there, they might they might go back.
- 15:40Speaker 2: They might just they might go backwards and start over
- 15:43Speaker 2: again because.
- 15:44Speaker 1: Or just use it as inspiration to really supercharge their
- 15:48Speaker 1: missile program.
- 15:51Speaker 2: Yeah, if they if they start getting shaped weird, we'll know,
- 15:55Speaker 2: we'll know where the influence came from.
- 15:57Speaker 1: When they write a memo to dear leader, have a
- 15:58Speaker 1: name for new rocket, strike here and strike fear and
- 16:04Speaker 1: Heart of America. But if you are in need of
- 16:08Speaker 1: a digital detox, like perhaps the North Korean soldiers probably are,
- 16:13Speaker 1: life in the digital world can be rewarding. We all
- 16:15Speaker 1: know that it is convenient to order groceries for pickup,
- 16:18Speaker 1: share photographs, music, keep in touch with family and friends,
- 16:22Speaker 1: whatever the distance doesn't matter. However, it can also be draining.
- 16:25Speaker 1: The feeling of being constantly on and productive has driven
- 16:28Speaker 1: people to reconsider their balance in the saturated digital world.
- 16:31Speaker 1: More than seventy percent of American adults are concerned about
- 16:35Speaker 1: how technology affects their effects, their mental health, and personal relationships.
- 16:40Speaker 1: This worry is reinforced through media that point to people's
- 16:43Speaker 1: unhealthy habits with social media and phone So what do
- 16:47Speaker 1: you do? Digital detoxing is gaining popularity. Nearly half of
- 16:52Speaker 1: American's report they're making a conscious effort like EU RAJ
- 16:55Speaker 1: to regularly step away from their screens. But isn't enough.
- 17:00Speaker 1: Sixty two percent of Americans confess to feeling addicted to
- 17:03Speaker 1: their devices and fall short of the digital detox. So
- 17:07Speaker 1: what do you do? There are a few recommended steps.
- 17:10Speaker 1: Number One, find replacement practices like for the North Korean
- 17:13Speaker 1: soldiers or dodge bullets. That's a good, you know, digital
- 17:18Speaker 1: detox method, just you know, duck and cover, run, hide,
- 17:22Speaker 1: all that kind of stuff. Many turn their devices when
- 17:26Speaker 1: their boards drives, kind of like an adult pacifier. So
- 17:28Speaker 1: replacement practices often involve hobbies or activities that result in play.
- 17:34Speaker 1: Like as adults, people sometimes forget what it's like to
- 17:36Speaker 1: have fun, so finding replacement practices. Number two shoring up
- 17:43Speaker 1: social bonds. We're inherently social creatures, and if you have
- 17:47Speaker 1: the digital connection, sometimes you just need to remember to
- 17:50Speaker 1: put the phone down and actually maybe go have a
- 17:53Speaker 1: cup of coffee with a friend. Number three emphasizing mindfulness.
- 18:01Speaker 1: I have an Apple Watch. I didn't ask for it. Well,
- 18:06Speaker 1: I've got a two for one last time we're at
- 18:09Speaker 1: the AT and T stores. Now I've got one, And
- 18:11Speaker 1: every so often it tells me that I need to
- 18:13Speaker 1: be more mindful, and all I want to do is
- 18:15Speaker 1: tell it to shut the up, and I can't figure
- 18:18Speaker 1: out how to turn it off. How's that for irony?
- 18:23Speaker 1: I have a device telling me to be more mindful
- 18:25Speaker 1: about things.
- 18:26Speaker 2: So it knows when you're not being mindful, is what
- 18:29Speaker 2: you're saying. Okay, gotcha?
- 18:30Speaker 1: Yeah, yeah, it seems judgy when it's when it does
- 18:32Speaker 1: it as well.
- 18:32Speaker 2: No, I would take it that way too.
- 18:34Speaker 1: Yeah. Also number four viewing digital well being as an
- 18:38Speaker 1: ongoing journey. In other words, it's not going to happen immediately.
- 18:43Speaker 1: It's progress, it's baby steps. It's a journey. You're not
- 18:46Speaker 1: going to fix it, and one feels swoop. So there
- 18:51Speaker 1: you go. Those are the tips for your digital detox.
- 18:55Speaker 1: I think at some point, if you're that addicted to
- 18:57Speaker 1: your phone, we might as well go to an alcoholics
- 19:00Speaker 1: anonymous type model where you get a chip or however
- 19:04Speaker 1: many minutes you've been phone sober, instead of years the
- 19:08Speaker 1: way it is with you know, drugs and alcohol. Well,
- 19:11Speaker 1: I don't think you don't think you know what could
- 19:12Speaker 1: go years without being on their phone.
- 19:14Speaker 2: But doesn't it tell you, like this is how much
- 19:16Speaker 2: time you've spent this week on your phone, like mine does,
- 19:19Speaker 2: but this is how much this is how many hours
- 19:21Speaker 2: you've spent this week, and it's less than the week before,
- 19:24Speaker 2: or more than the week before, whatever, and so you
- 19:26Speaker 2: can kind of gauge that or.
- 19:28Speaker 1: Like me and mine just gave up and stopped telling
- 19:30Speaker 1: me because I'm always you.
- 19:32Speaker 7: Can turn that feature.
- 19:33Speaker 2: Off, okay that I just keep it on and going okay,
- 19:37Speaker 2: well that was I'm on for like it. I think
- 19:40Speaker 2: it was forty two minutes less uh last week than
- 19:43Speaker 2: the week before. And I thought that was good because
- 19:46Speaker 2: I leave when I take my dogs for a walk,
- 19:47Speaker 2: I don't take my phone.
- 19:48Speaker 1: With me, and that's and that's good. You're getting outside.
- 19:50Speaker 1: You're doing all the things you should do for a
- 19:52Speaker 1: digital detox. For me, though, sometimes I'll take my phone
- 19:55Speaker 1: to the gym and if I'm on the elliptical, or
- 19:57Speaker 1: the treadmill. I'll watch something on my phone, and my
- 19:59Speaker 1: phone counts that against the screen time.
- 20:01Speaker 2: Yeah, but don't they also have the TVs? Don't they
- 20:03Speaker 2: have TVs in the gym that you can watch stuff?
- 20:07Speaker 1: I don't like their channels? Oh okay, let me put
- 20:09Speaker 1: it this way. It's it's it's difficult enough as it
- 20:12Speaker 1: is to watch The Boys on my phone. You you
- 20:17Speaker 1: cannot have that show on one of the TV's at
- 20:19Speaker 1: the gym. It just cannot happen.
- 20:20Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, that's I think that's just the rating and
- 20:23Speaker 2: the content.
- 20:25Speaker 1: I understand.
- 20:26Speaker 2: Okay, So you like to watch violent superheroes while getting
- 20:30Speaker 2: your cardio up? I gotcha. Interesting okay, uh but yeah,
- 20:35Speaker 2: I mean, but there's other things you could do, like
- 20:37Speaker 2: when you're like when you're cooking your you know, your
- 20:40Speaker 2: morning breakfast or lunch or whatever, you can put your
- 20:43Speaker 2: phone down and do that and eat your lunch without
- 20:46Speaker 2: looking at your phone.
- 20:46Speaker 7: Can you do that? Yeah?
- 20:49Speaker 2: Okay, See, that's that's.
- 20:50Speaker 1: But I'll watch TV and that's another screen.
- 20:52Speaker 2: So, but it's not the phone.
- 20:57Speaker 3: I try to read. And but and I'll be the
- 21:00Speaker 3: first one to admit there's some days where it's hard,
- 21:04Speaker 3: like you because let's say you just get a message
- 21:07Speaker 3: on your phone and then you look at it. Well,
- 21:09Speaker 3: then all of a sudden you're checking Instagram, and then
- 21:11Speaker 3: you're and then twenty minutes later you've gone you know,
- 21:14Speaker 3: you're scrolling through and it's it is, it is. It
- 21:19Speaker 3: is definitely an addiction that that can get out of hand.
- 21:25Speaker 1: And I know it can for trade because I've seen
- 21:27Speaker 1: his TikTok dance routines.
- 21:33Speaker 2: I knew that one Korean cheerleader looked familiar.
- 21:40Speaker 1: Love tray and fishnets.

- 22:41Speaker 1: say hi, whatever the case is, do that at Treehouse
- 22:45Speaker 1: on air dot Com. All right, gentlemen, back inside the
- 22:49Speaker 1: treehouse now. And it appears the possibility of World War
- 22:53Speaker 1: three is upon us, and once again Germany might be
- 22:58Speaker 1: the start of it, but at least not in the
- 23:02Speaker 1: way that we're historically used to tray your wagon, your finger.
- 23:06Speaker 3: Well, every great war starts, as one constant, especially in
- 23:10Speaker 3: the twentieth century Germany. No, every great war starts with
- 23:18Speaker 3: the French getting their ass whipped.
- 23:20Speaker 2: Gotcha.
- 23:21Speaker 1: Well, then I'm curious to see if this story lends
- 23:25Speaker 1: itself to your French theory, because apparently Nazi raccoons have
- 23:30Speaker 1: descended in Germany, and Germany is now declaring war on raccoons.
- 23:40Speaker 1: I'm afraid to know how they are. They know they're Nazis,
- 23:43Speaker 1: but I guess we'll find out. So yes, Germany has
- 23:46Speaker 1: declared war on raccoons. With his onyx eyes ringed by
- 23:51Speaker 1: black fur muffin, the raccoon resembled the masked robber.
- 23:59Speaker 2: That sounds like a really bad novel, it does.
- 24:03Speaker 1: The fascinating creature was nibbling his breakfast out a Raccoon
- 24:06Speaker 1: Sanctuary in central Germany, where he's lived since his mother
- 24:09Speaker 1: was killed by a car five years ago. And the
- 24:11Speaker 1: person who writes this as I was seized with guilt.
- 24:13Speaker 1: The previous day I had tucked into sausages, meatballs and
- 24:18Speaker 1: burgers made from one of Muffin's kith and kin. No
- 24:22Speaker 1: doubt this will discuss mini readers, and I too balked
- 24:25Speaker 1: at eating one of the bushy tailed rascals my grandchildren
- 24:28Speaker 1: love to see. In Disney cartoons and David Attenborough documentaries,
- 24:34Speaker 1: Reinventing the raccoon as a gourmet delicacy is being suggested
- 24:37Speaker 1: as a solution to one of Europe's strangest and most
- 24:41Speaker 1: intractable environmental problems, the Great raccoon Invasion of Germany.
- 24:47Speaker 2: Yeah, so they're eating them now, Well.
- 24:51Speaker 1: That's one way to get rid of them. A century ago,
- 24:58Speaker 1: there were few, if any raccoons living in the wild
- 25:00Speaker 1: in Germany, but the highly sexed critters breed rapidly and
- 25:03Speaker 1: after if you were released during the Nazi regime, they
- 25:06Speaker 1: began multiplying at a dizzying rate. So I guess that's
- 25:09Speaker 1: why they're Nazi raccoons. Astonishingly, experts believe up to two
- 25:13Speaker 1: million the bushy tailed blighters are now running a muck
- 25:15Speaker 1: in Germany, decimating wildlife and even attacking people and wrecking homes.
- 25:19Speaker 1: Some argue they should be culled by commercial hunting and
- 25:22Speaker 1: sold alongside the brought worst in supermarkets. So it seemed
- 25:25Speaker 1: imperative to try the meat, as this writer says. Then
- 25:31Speaker 1: he goes on to talk about how it's a chewy
- 25:35Speaker 1: gamy and thinks the guy that writes his things, that's
- 25:39Speaker 1: kind of delicious. So basically, raccoons have taken over since
- 25:43Speaker 1: Nazi Germany, and Germany's answer is to not only kill them,
- 25:48Speaker 1: but let's turn them into a food delicacy. Okay, So
- 25:54Speaker 1: just imagine on your next I don't know visit to Germany,
- 25:57Speaker 1: you going to a high end restaurant and asking how
- 26:01Speaker 1: their raccoon is this evening?
- 26:04Speaker 2: Mm hmmm, that is a You have hillbillies everywhere going
- 26:08Speaker 2: slee We told you, like, that's that's that's what's going
- 26:11Speaker 2: to happen, like we told you. Uh, and I couldn't.
- 26:14Speaker 2: I couldn't like the French eat horse like I can't
- 26:17Speaker 2: do that, the Japanese eat horse. I can't.
- 26:21Speaker 1: Raccoon pass I know it's weird because different cultures around
- 26:26Speaker 1: the world. If it's got four legs, some cultures see
- 26:30Speaker 1: that as food, period and if if desperate enough, maybe
- 26:34Speaker 1: two legs is considered possibly food. But yeah, I mean
- 26:39Speaker 1: those of us in America where we're we're very fortunate
- 26:42Speaker 1: and that we don't necessarily have to look at the
- 26:44Speaker 1: cute creatures as food.
- 26:46Speaker 3: I mean, I did see just see a video of
- 26:48Speaker 3: how like I want to say it was it's either
- 26:51Speaker 3: Vietnam or Highland where they were in a rice field
- 26:53Speaker 3: and uh they were catching field mice and that was
- 26:59Speaker 3: and and buy the thousands, and that that was gonna
- 27:02Speaker 3: be a big feast for the village.
- 27:03Speaker 7: I was like, uh, the like.
- 27:06Speaker 2: Disease and like parasites and stuff that they carry. I guess, yeah, Okay,
- 27:14Speaker 2: I don't, Yeah, I just don't. I don't know if
- 27:15Speaker 2: I could be convinced. I like to think that I
- 27:18Speaker 2: have a wide culinary palate mm hmm, But I don't
- 27:23Speaker 2: think you could convince me to eat raccoon. I don't think.
- 27:27Speaker 2: I don't think times have gotten that hard that you
- 27:30Speaker 2: could convince me to Would you would you eat it?
- 27:32Speaker 2: Would you eat raccoon? Sausages.
- 27:37Speaker 1: No, not willingly. I will say, if you were going
- 27:40Speaker 1: to get me to try a meat that I wouldn't
- 27:42Speaker 1: otherwise want to try, sticking in a sausage is probably
- 27:44Speaker 1: the best way.
- 27:47Speaker 2: So as long as it's like some sort of fair food,
- 27:50Speaker 2: you'd like raccoon corn dogs.
- 27:54Speaker 1: You know what I think? I think the State Fair
- 27:57Speaker 1: of Texas, if it's taught us anything, is that if
- 27:59Speaker 1: you deep fried and stick it on a stick, it's
- 28:01Speaker 1: probably tasty. Just just imagine the photos in front of
- 28:06Speaker 1: Big Text next year.
- 28:09Speaker 2: Just a claw sticking out.
- 28:13Speaker 4: What you got there?
- 28:14Speaker 1: It's a bandit corny dogs.
- 28:21Speaker 2: It was digging through my trash. Now it's a corn dog.
- 28:27Speaker 1: Look. Air fryers can do amazing things.

- 29:26Speaker 1: Massage parlors. Twenty twenty, massage therapists in Florida are being
- 29:35Speaker 1: accused of offering sex acts to undercover detectives during a sting.
- 29:40Speaker 1: And this sting in Florida it was called Operation skin Sosoft. Uh.
- 29:49Speaker 1: I have an audio here from Sheriff Grady Judd, who
- 29:55Speaker 1: headed up the Operation skin Soosoft fund massage parlor bust.
- 30:00Speaker 2: The lesser known Judd.
- 30:04Speaker 1: The other Judd.
- 30:08Speaker 7: Uh.
- 30:09Speaker 1: He gave his assessment of the bust of the fun
- 30:14Speaker 1: massage parlor in Florida, and he had some interesting candid
- 30:19Speaker 1: takes on the situation.
- 30:22Speaker 7: Uncover would say no, no, no, just to massage.
- 30:24Speaker 9: So on three different occasions, she continued to try to
- 30:28Speaker 9: come back and up charge him.
- 30:30Speaker 7: To engage in sex. She stood in front of the door.
- 30:34Speaker 1: So he had she just kept the rate normally it
- 30:37Speaker 1: would have been fine by Florida.
- 30:41Speaker 2: Damn upselling.
- 30:43Speaker 1: Yeah, hey, they don't take they don't take kindly to
- 30:45Speaker 1: upselling in Florida. They just want flat feet.
- 30:53Speaker 9: The undercover would say no, no, no, just to massides.
- 30:55Speaker 9: So on three different occasions she continued to try to
- 30:59Speaker 9: come back up charge him to engage in sex. She
- 31:03Speaker 9: stood in front of the door so he couldn't leave,
- 31:06Speaker 9: and then she tried to hold him.
- 31:08Speaker 1: All Right, we're being honest here. This doesn't sound like
- 31:11Speaker 1: a shady massage, Parley. This sounds more like a used
- 31:15Speaker 1: car lot on Division Street in Arlington, Texas, or someone
- 31:20Speaker 1: trying to get you to buy their pampered chef products
- 31:24Speaker 1: out of No, this doesn't. I don't know. I don't
- 31:27Speaker 1: have any experience in these places, so I don't know
- 31:29Speaker 1: what it's like.
- 31:32Speaker 2: Yeah, she stood in front of the door so he
- 31:35Speaker 2: couldn't leave.
- 31:37Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean that's that's an aggressive sales tactic. Yeah, Like,
- 31:41Speaker 1: I don't think if you're a customer of this place
- 31:43Speaker 1: that that's the kind of me SEUs that you want
- 31:48Speaker 1: doing that. If they're basically forcing you to give them
- 31:51Speaker 1: money and do it, that doesn't sound right.
- 31:53Speaker 2: I know she was. If there's like a you know,
- 31:55Speaker 2: let me talk to my manager, see what I can
- 31:56Speaker 2: do for you, and just walks out of the room
- 31:58Speaker 2: and comes back.
- 31:59Speaker 1: Yeah, and the manager comes back with her. It's like, well,
- 32:02Speaker 1: we've been talking and we have an idea here for you.
- 32:06Speaker 2: Oh well, rub but we're not gonna die, no, no, no,
- 32:08Speaker 2: just beside.
- 32:09Speaker 9: So on three different occasions, she continued to try to
- 32:13Speaker 9: come back and up charge him to engage in sex.
- 32:17Speaker 9: She stood in front of the door so he couldn't leave,
- 32:20Speaker 9: and then she tried to hold him down. This is
- 32:24Speaker 9: a big undercover detective and you let me.
- 32:28Speaker 1: Sorry that that doesn't even sound real. Like with one
- 32:35Speaker 1: hand she's she's holding him down on his with his
- 32:38Speaker 1: like by the chest, and the other.
- 32:39Speaker 3: Hand he's like, no, please stop.
- 32:45Speaker 1: She held me down. You're six four and two hundred
- 32:48Speaker 1: and seventy pounds. What kind of things She's really strong.
- 32:50Speaker 2: It's those hands.
- 32:55Speaker 7: This sided.
- 32:56Speaker 3: So Yeah, recently there was a North Texas municipality that
- 32:59Speaker 3: just had to let go of officers and discipline some officers
- 33:05Speaker 3: because in a in a sting of massage parlors.
- 33:08Speaker 7: That they felt good.
- 33:10Speaker 4: I guess they fell victim to the high pressure sales.
- 33:15Speaker 1: They got caught up.
- 33:16Speaker 3: Yeah, this sounds like they're there. This sounds like this
- 33:19Speaker 3: was their there should have been their defense.
- 33:22Speaker 2: Sometimes you just get a really good deal, like.
- 33:26Speaker 4: Serge Way, I could get out.
- 33:30Speaker 1: She helped, She helped it down.
- 33:33Speaker 2: I had a coupon.
- 33:36Speaker 1: She helped me down with two fingers.
- 33:43Speaker 2: The sting has been over. You've come here every day
- 33:46Speaker 2: for the last two weeks, I really believe in public safety.
- 33:54Speaker 7: Might have been five foot tall. She wasn't as big.
- 33:57Speaker 1: This this is one of my favorite parts of this story,
- 34:00Speaker 1: pays into this. So here you have the tiny messuse
- 34:04Speaker 1: who's tried to forcibly upsell the undercover detective into sex acts,
- 34:10Speaker 1: into sex acts at the massage parlor in Florida.
- 34:14Speaker 9: He couldn't leave, and then she tried to hold him down.
- 34:18Speaker 9: This is a big undercover detective, and she might have
- 34:23Speaker 9: been five foot tall. She wasn't as big as a
- 34:25Speaker 9: popcorn fart, and she was trying to hold this man down.
- 34:29Speaker 7: A word to the wise, if you don't.
- 34:33Speaker 2: You know, if anything solid visual, uh, you know, that's
- 34:39Speaker 2: a popcorn fart. I've never heard that before.
- 34:42Speaker 1: I haven't either, and I've eaten a lot of popcorn,
- 34:45Speaker 1: but not one says it ever farted. Things really are
- 34:52Speaker 1: different in Florida.
- 34:56Speaker 2: Popcorn tastes weird when you're on bath salts.
- 34:58Speaker 1: That's I just I don't, I don't, I don't get.
- 35:05Speaker 9: And she might have been five foot tall, she wasn't
- 35:09Speaker 9: as big as a popcorn fart, and she was trying
- 35:11Speaker 9: to hold this man down. A word to the wise.
- 35:15Speaker 9: If you don't want to get arrested and have your
- 35:17Speaker 9: picture up here on a skin so soft bulletin board,
- 35:21Speaker 9: don't do it next time.
- 35:23Speaker 7: It can be the customers.
- 35:26Speaker 1: So they were just going after the oh super aggressive
- 35:32Speaker 1: up selling messuses at this tawdry massage parlor. Not not
- 35:36Speaker 1: the customers, because clearly they're the victims in this because
- 35:39Speaker 1: they're being held down.
- 35:44Speaker 3: Robert Krast go and see I told you my ball.

- 36:49Speaker 1: Let's celebrate some birthdays inside the Treehouse. Ron Artest who
- 36:58Speaker 1: is uh? Is he still known as Meadow World Peace
- 37:00Speaker 1: the former?
- 37:02Speaker 2: Yes he is.
- 37:03Speaker 1: He is. He's forty five today. That a World Peace
- 37:07Speaker 1: formerly known as run ar Test is forty five. He
- 37:10Speaker 1: changed his name years ago. That was after he went
- 37:14Speaker 1: into the stands and fought with fans. That's when he took.
- 37:18Speaker 1: After that, he showed a more peaceful route.
- 37:25Speaker 3: I forgot who told the story about that, but yeah,
- 37:27Speaker 3: they were talking about Ron Artest and after that it
- 37:30Speaker 3: was that it was in Detroit.
- 37:33Speaker 1: Uh, but most choking start.
- 37:36Speaker 4: But whatever it was, you know, they they all knew.
- 37:42Speaker 3: They everyone knew that they had really screwed up, except
- 37:46Speaker 3: run Our Test. It's like he was he just didn't
- 37:51Speaker 3: get it.
- 37:52Speaker 1: No, he probably still doesn't, but he did get that
- 37:56Speaker 1: fan looked like Homer Simpson's strangling.
- 38:00Speaker 2: Bart choked a coach, didn't He once he choked one
- 38:05Speaker 2: of his coaches, I think as well, or slapped a
- 38:07Speaker 2: coach something like that.
- 38:09Speaker 1: Man, it's hard to keep track with the NBA players. Yeah,
- 38:15Speaker 1: other birthdays today? Uh? Noah Hathaway turns fifty three. That
- 38:20Speaker 1: is the Warrior betray You in The Never Ending Story, which,
- 38:26Speaker 1: obviously being gen X scarred. That movie has scarred us
- 38:32Speaker 1: like no others because one of the saddest, most traumatizing
- 38:38Speaker 1: cinematic moments in our lives was when a trey U's
- 38:42Speaker 1: horse died in that Muddy Bug. I still can't watch
- 38:46Speaker 1: that movie because of that. It was terrible. Flying Fluffy Cocker,
- 38:49Speaker 1: Spadel and all like that kid was super happy, like
- 38:54Speaker 1: wee fist pumping in the air. I'm like, what about
- 38:56Speaker 1: the horn. Bastard Sony, the guy that played a Tridu
- 39:02Speaker 1: in Never Ending Story, is fifty three today. Gerard Butler,
- 39:06Speaker 1: who is the star of the Olympus Has Fallen movies,
- 39:10Speaker 1: is fifty five. He was also he sings a little bit.
- 39:13Speaker 1: He was the Phantom and Phantom of the opera all
- 39:14Speaker 1: the way back in like two thousand or two thousand
- 39:16Speaker 1: and two something like that. And he's also known as
- 39:19Speaker 1: King Leonidas in three hundred. Yes, love that movie. That
- 39:24Speaker 1: was fun.
- 39:25Speaker 2: Great movies.
- 39:25Speaker 1: This is Sparta And I'd just like to point out
- 39:31Speaker 1: once again because since it's his birthday and he's fifty
- 39:35Speaker 1: five today, and that Gerard Butler has easily one of
- 39:38Speaker 1: the worst lines I have ever heard in a movie,
- 39:41Speaker 1: and that was in the sequel to Olympus Has Fallen,
- 39:44Speaker 1: London has Fallen because, like in most action franchises, wherever
- 39:49Speaker 1: the one main character goes, bad things follow. That's when
- 39:53Speaker 1: he is saving the President. They run from bad guys
- 39:57Speaker 1: all the way to a safe house, and when they
- 39:59Speaker 1: get there, his safe house has water, and he grabs
- 40:02Speaker 1: the water and he hands it to the President and
- 40:05Speaker 1: he tells the President, I don't know about you, but
- 40:07Speaker 1: I'm thirsty.
- 40:12Speaker 2: That's the whole line.
- 40:13Speaker 1: That's the line he hands the president of Bottle of
- 40:16Speaker 1: Water after running blocks through London and says, I don't
- 40:20Speaker 1: know about you, but I'm thirsty.
- 40:24Speaker 3: You know, I've always been on the fence about my
- 40:26Speaker 3: uh the fact that I haven't seen any of those movies,
- 40:28Speaker 3: and you just you confirm my decision.
- 40:31Speaker 7: Thank you, Dan.
- 40:35Speaker 1: Did I talk you off the White House lawn there?
- 40:37Speaker 2: Yeah, one line made it to where train will never
- 40:41Speaker 2: watch those movies again. I mean.
- 40:44Speaker 1: I paused it during the movie and I'm like, did that?
- 40:49Speaker 1: Did he sick?
- 40:50Speaker 10: No?
- 40:51Speaker 1: Sorry, rewound it, listen to it again. Yep, no, he
- 40:54Speaker 1: said it. I'm gonna rewind it one more time just
- 40:56Speaker 1: to really make sure that it's this absurd. I don't
- 40:59Speaker 1: know about you, mister President.
- 41:00Speaker 7: But.
- 41:02Speaker 2: Well you know that's that's when product placement messes up
- 41:05Speaker 2: a movie. It's just an add for Bottle Water whatever
- 41:09Speaker 2: company that was. I don't know about you, but I'm thirsty.
- 41:11Speaker 2: And when I am thirsty, mister President Desani.
- 41:15Speaker 1: For when you're thirsty is actually could have I think
- 41:20Speaker 1: it's a missed opportunity. It could have been brilliant, like
- 41:22Speaker 1: it would have been a nice placement for some perrier
- 41:26Speaker 1: other birthdays. Today, Inside the Treehouse, Jimmy Kimmel is fifty seven,
- 41:30Speaker 1: and wow, this is one of those beautiful little treehouse
- 41:35Speaker 1: moments that we didn't plan. But it's coming together nicely.
- 41:39Speaker 1: And you guys aren't gonna get this probably, but just
- 41:41Speaker 1: bear with me for a moment. Okay. You remember how
- 41:45Speaker 1: we were talking earlier about the town in Germany that's
- 41:48Speaker 1: being overrun by raccoons so much that they're now cooking
- 41:51Speaker 1: them and eating them. M hm. Steveson is fifty seven today.
- 41:58Speaker 1: Believe it or not. There's a connection there because there
- 42:01Speaker 1: is a movie that Steve's On is in, if I
- 42:06Speaker 1: remember correctly, it's Saving Silverman, okay, with Jack Black and
- 42:13Speaker 1: I'm brain farting on his name. But the kid that
- 42:16Speaker 1: that screwed the pie an American Pie, Yes, Jason Biggs,
- 42:21Speaker 1: he's Silverman in the film. In the film, Steve's On
- 42:25Speaker 1: plays an exterminator and he uh and he is called
- 42:29Speaker 1: out to a lady's home to get rid of a pest.
- 42:33Speaker 1: And I'm now going to share this with you. This
- 42:34Speaker 1: is this is the tie in. Now you're ready. Steve's
- 42:36Speaker 1: on fifty seven today, Watch and enjoy. He has to
- 42:42Speaker 1: show up to get rid of a cute and cuddly
- 42:44Speaker 1: little raccoon from underneath this lady's house. So your cousin
- 42:50Speaker 1: all his trouble huh huh, you here, hey here grabs
- 42:54Speaker 1: the raccoon out from underneath the stairs of the ladies
- 42:57Speaker 1: home and he says, Okay, I've saved the day. Corroded
- 43:09Speaker 1: wheish mommy. Mommy came up from behind and is now
- 43:18Speaker 1: attached to his head attacking throws it to the ground
- 43:33Speaker 1: w W E style and hits it with a dart
- 43:36Speaker 1: with a drink dart from his holster.
- 43:42Speaker 3: Is it dead?
- 43:44Speaker 10: No, but she is in one deep Councoma's hard enough.
- 44:06Speaker 1: You two are laughing. I never want to hear you
- 44:09Speaker 1: complain about my taste of movies ever. Again, that was fun.
- 44:13Speaker 1: And because I've seen so many bad and terrible movies,
- 44:15Speaker 1: you got to enjoy that little scene.
- 44:18Speaker 2: But is the whole movie that because I would watch.
- 44:21Speaker 1: That, I showed you the best part. Just be thankful.
- 44:27Speaker 3: So what we can get out of a ninety second
- 44:29Speaker 3: trailer You spent two hours.

- 45:37Speaker 1: Back inside the Treehouse, guys. It turns out that it's
- 45:41Speaker 1: really really hard to hide a strip club. Let's go
- 45:47Speaker 1: to Louisville, Kentucky, where the Metro Alcohol Beverage Control Board
- 45:52Speaker 1: is cracking down on a business it said is posing
- 45:55Speaker 1: as a restaurant when it's actually functioning as a strip club.
- 46:02Speaker 1: Louisville Metro ABC said Market Street Bar and Grill was
- 46:07Speaker 1: doing business as the Gentlemen's Club The with Two Eas
- 46:13Speaker 1: and just this week, the Alcohol Control Board in Louisville,
- 46:17Speaker 1: Kentucky revoked the business's liquor license, saying the club violated
- 46:21Speaker 1: the city's nudity ordinance. According to detectives, the business's Facebook
- 46:26Speaker 1: page is full of posts that display half dressed women
- 46:31Speaker 1: and stripping poles. You know, the kind of thing you'd
- 46:33Speaker 1: expect to see at Market Street Bar and Grill. The
- 46:36Speaker 1: Facebook page also has flyers talking about parties and a
- 46:41Speaker 1: grand opening. But wait, there's more. According to the Louisville
- 46:48Speaker 1: Beverage Control Board, state regulations state that a business operating
- 46:53Speaker 1: as a restaurant must have fifty percent of its sales
- 46:56Speaker 1: from food and alcohol. But they said they there were
- 47:01Speaker 1: no servers, There were no tables for dining, no kitchen
- 47:04Speaker 1: staff or even food storage at the Market Street Bar
- 47:08Speaker 1: and Grill they say was operating as a strip club.
- 47:10Speaker 1: The inspector said there was only one menu, which offered pizza,
- 47:14Speaker 1: and he found ten frozen pizzas at the location. I mean,
- 47:20Speaker 1: if if we're being honest, h a frozen Totino's at
- 47:25Speaker 1: a strip club sounds pretty good.
- 47:27Speaker 2: It's that would be delightful. Boobs in a Totina's. Yeah,
- 47:33Speaker 2: that's redneck heaven. That's bring your own bush light.
- 47:38Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean throwing some throwing some pizza rolls to
- 47:41Speaker 1: go with the TUTSI rolls.
- 47:46Speaker 2: Legs and eggs and some steaky leg you know how
- 47:48Speaker 2: it works.
- 47:48Speaker 7: It's good.
- 47:49Speaker 1: It's uh. Just four days ago, the club posted an
- 47:54Speaker 1: updated menu online that included more food options hot pockets losing.
- 48:04Speaker 2: Man if they served on crustables. I'm moving to Louisville.
- 48:11Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't want to go to a strip club
- 48:13Speaker 1: that has crust.
- 48:17Speaker 2: They cut it off before you get there.
- 48:25Speaker 1: Can can you send this back? I'm just cut that
- 48:30Speaker 1: a little bit.
- 48:31Speaker 2: I'm not a diss. I'm a her whatever, a little doe.
- 48:46Speaker 4: And needs to be good more.
- 48:53Speaker 1: At least it's not crunchy.
- 48:56Speaker 7: Oh.
