- 0:25Speaker 1: Music Howdy and welcome to Victoria, texas.
- 0:29Speaker 1: The In Wheel Time gang is here.
- 0:31Speaker 1: Behind the camera is Mr Mike Mars.
- 0:33Speaker 1: Standing next to me is the lovely Leslie Nikietico Don Armstrong, here, glad you could join us in Victoria.
- 0:40Speaker 1: This is the county seat and I guess the county courthouse is over there.
- 0:45Speaker 1: You can't see it right now, but Mike's going to point the camera down there give you an idea.
- 0:49Speaker 1: So this is the old town square, and I wouldn't say old because, well, it's a hopping place down here.
- 0:55Speaker 1: They've also built a new pavilion back over here to the right, mr Mars, and that's where the symphony is getting all tuned up and ready to play.
- 1:05Speaker 1: We're just getting ready for the festivities down here to welcome the Hot Rod Tour of Texas and officially things get underway at 6 o'clock and I'll tell you what.
- 1:18Speaker 1: This is a big change from the last two Hot Rod Tours that we've done, because the Hot Rod Tour of Texas has apparently made enough money where they've bought themselves a trailer down here, a white trailer, and they got it all lined up.
- 1:28Speaker 1: We got QR codes to get checked in here and, as you can see, lots of cars all the way around the square here, everything from Model as we saw that earlier to some real, true hot rods like this one right here, lucille.
- 1:44Speaker 1: See, lucille, that's a real hot rod there.
- 1:47Speaker 1: Wish I had that.
- 1:49Speaker 1: But we also have the usuals, the usual suspects.
- 1:52Speaker 1: We've got Jeremy's yellow truck and then right around the tour here.
- 1:58Speaker 1: See, can you see it?
- 1:59Speaker 1: I don't know whether you can or not.
- 2:00Speaker 1: It's this hot rod tour on the windshield header over here on the Edsel.
- 2:03Speaker 1: Well, you know who that is.
- 2:05Speaker 1: That's Bobby Sparkman.
- 2:06Speaker 1: He kind of heads up all this stuff.
- 2:07Speaker 1: But we've got cars from all over the state of Texas and I think even beyond.
- 2:12Speaker 1: 350 cars are registered out here to do the tour.
- 2:17Speaker 1: Watch out, this is a bad, bad Camaro right here.
- 2:20Speaker 1: You used to have a Camaro.
- 2:21Speaker 2: I had a Camaro, just like that.
- 2:23Speaker 1: Yeah, that's a very nice looking and sounding.
- 2:26Speaker 3: Yeah, 69.
- 2:27Speaker 1: Yeah, no, is that 68?
- 2:29Speaker 1: 69.
- 2:30Speaker 1: Okay, Well, you know that's a 57.
- 2:33Speaker 1: I got that one.
- 2:34Speaker 1: Yeah, I had a friend of mine had that Ronnie Green, had that Ronnie Green's grandmother's car.
- 2:40Speaker 1: But at any rate, people are pouring in downtown Victoria and it's going to be a great evening.
- 2:52Speaker 1: We've got the symphony, as I mentioned, and all of the restaurants and the bars around the square.
- 2:55Speaker 1: Here they are open for us to imbibe.
- 2:59Speaker 4: And we will.
- 3:01Speaker 1: And we will.
- 3:01Speaker 1: We're looking forward to that.
- 3:02Speaker 1: We are.
- 3:02Speaker 1: This is the wine drinker, so she's going to sample some fine Victoria wine.
- 3:07Speaker 1: I'll let y'all know and, based on my history of what happened last night, I don't know as if I'll be imbibing in anything.
- 3:14Speaker 1: I've been suffering today, but I made it here.
- 3:17Speaker 1: It's been a long process and, by the way, if you don't know where Victoria is, it's a hundred miles, about an hour and a half or so, southwest of Houston, texas, and spot on the money.
- 3:35Speaker 1: We're staying, I don't know about five miles outside out there by the highway, and I think almost all the hotels are jam-packed here Looking forward to a great event that kicks off tomorrow morning at 8 o'clock.
- 3:46Speaker 1: Let's see that.
- 3:47Speaker 1: What is it?
- 3:47Speaker 1: Oh, here you go, come this way, man, it's got a blower in it.
- 3:54Speaker 1: You can hear the whine from here.
- 3:55Speaker 1: That's W-H-I-N-E.
- 3:57Speaker 1: Yeah, woo, very nice.
- 4:02Speaker 1: Ladies and gentlemen, that's what we call a real hot rod with a blower sticking out of the hood.
- 4:11Speaker 1: Well, it didn't have a hood, did it, but at any rate.
- 4:13Speaker 1: So the events start at 8 o'clock tomorrow morning.
- 4:16Speaker 1: We actually meet up, I believe, around here somewhere, and we all pull out of here.
- 4:24Speaker 1: Oh, wow, this is it.
- 4:26Speaker 1: Here's another fine ride.
- 4:28Speaker 1: We can sample them coming in now.
- 4:30Speaker 1: You can hear them a mile away.
- 4:36Speaker 3: He knows what he's doing.
- 4:37Speaker 3: Don, I don't think you realize it, but I am shopping for my next car.
- 4:43Speaker 1: Well, this would be the place to do it, although I don't see any for sale signs yet.
- 4:47Speaker 1: I'm sure that everything is for sale if the price is right.
- 4:50Speaker 1: But at any rate, we head out tomorrow and we head up toward New Braunfels.
- 4:54Speaker 1: We're going to have a stop at the Shiner Brewery for lunch and then we end the evening in New Braunfels and the Stars and Stars drive in and we get to see Smokey and the Bandit there, and then on Saturday we head out and we head up toward Fredericksburg, texas, and we party up there that night.
- 5:16Speaker 1: Well, some people will.
- 5:18Speaker 1: I'm probably going to try to fix the bad feeling that I have right now, but at any rate, the tour continues on on Sunday and we'll stay the night there up there in Fredericksburg, and then Sunday afternoon we'll be heading back.
- 5:36Speaker 1: The weather's supposed to kind of turn ugly on Sunday, so we're going to try to beat it back to Houston.
- 5:41Speaker 1: But at any rate, it's a great event.
- 5:43Speaker 1: This is our third annual and we're looking forward to it, and we think that you will too, because Mr Mars is going to be shooting a lot of video.
- 5:52Speaker 1: We're going to have one of the stops.
- 5:53Speaker 1: We're going to return to Samson's performance up there outside of San Antonio, this is a beautiful 57.
- 6:02Speaker 1: Nice car, nice car.
- 6:08Speaker 1: We had a trio of trucks out at the hotel.
- 6:18Speaker 3: This may be one of them.
- 6:20Speaker 1: I believe it is, but at any rate everything from late model.
- 6:25Speaker 1: There's a C8 Corvette over there.
- 6:27Speaker 1: I brought the C5.
- 6:29Speaker 1: It's all shined up.
- 6:30Speaker 1: I spent a couple hours on it this morning.
- 6:32Speaker 1: That hurt, that hurt.
- 6:36Speaker 5: The rain that we got in on the way here hurt worse.
- 6:38Speaker 1: Yeah, it did, but that's okay.
- 6:40Speaker 1: So I used Bobby Sparkman's suggestion and that was to be sure and get some Rain-X.
- 6:51Speaker 1: So I did that, squirted the windshield down, didn't have to move wipers.
- 6:55Speaker 1: Jeff Zekin and I worked on the car this past weekend.
- 6:58Speaker 1: That's our friends.
- 6:59Speaker 1: That's our friends at the hotel.
- 7:01Speaker 1: Jeff Zekin and I worked on the in-wheel time machine this weekend.
- 7:05Speaker 1: He helped well.
- 7:07Speaker 1: Actually he did all the work.
- 7:09Speaker 1: I just sat by and watched him do his magic, and his magic was putting a windshield header on the Corvette that you bought, mr Mars, that says inwheeltimecom.
- 7:20Speaker 1: Turned out great.
- 7:21Speaker 1: And then he also helped me fix my windshield washers on the Corvette.
- 7:25Speaker 1: So all that's working.
- 7:27Speaker 1: Air conditioning works there you go.
- 7:34Speaker 1: Got a little air ride suspension going on there, doesn't he?
- 7:38Speaker 3: Yep, here's your car Mars.
- 7:44Speaker 1: What?
- 7:45Speaker 1: No See now, that's a real road warrior there, but at any rate.
- 7:55Speaker 1: So cars continue to come in and it shows, yeah.
- 7:59Speaker 1: So the cars continue to come in.
- 8:01Speaker 1: We're getting ready for our six o'clock kickoff and in the meantime I can hear the symphony the Victoria Symphony warming up and we're going to go over there.
- 8:09Speaker 1: We're going to get our lawn chairs out and enjoy the evening and probably get a beverage or something.
- 8:14Speaker 1: So, at any rate, we hope that you'll follow us along here on the InWheelTimecom mystique of the Hot Rod Tour of Texas.
- 8:24Speaker 1: It's on in real timecom, facebook, youtube.
- 8:28Speaker 1: Am I missing something?
- 8:29Speaker 1: Mars?
- 8:29Speaker 1: It's on.
- 8:30Speaker 1: It's on all of the social apps that you could possibly get.
- 8:33Speaker 1: Mr Mars is going to clip together all of these little bits and pieces that we're going to do and we're going to play that back on our regular time slot on Saturday morning between eight and 11 AMm.
- 8:45Speaker 1: So we hope that you want to watch the whole thing all clipped together that Mr Mars is going to work on.
- 8:50Speaker 1: Then.
- 8:51Speaker 1: That's the time to do it.
- 8:52Speaker 1: Anyway, we'll catch up with you throughout the tour.
- 8:54Speaker 1: Thanks for joining.
- 8:57Speaker 5: Lots of really nice Mustangs out.
- 8:58Speaker 5: 60 years of Mustangs, so everybody's out celebrating.
- 9:16Speaker 3: Old Mustangs, new Mustangs, ah.
- 9:23Speaker 5: Here's a nice C5 Corvette.
- 9:25Speaker 5: Hard to tell whose that is.
- 9:28Speaker 5: Oh wait, could this be the Don Armstrong in the in-wheel time Corvette?
- 9:44Speaker 5: It's Texas, of course.
- 9:56Speaker 5: We got lots of trucks too GT350, oh, the story I had Once upon a time, the one that really got away.
- 10:10Speaker 5: People of all ages are out enjoying the Hot Rod Tour, particularly this really nice park out here with the City of Victoria, the orchestra, some high school bands playing as part of the 200 year anniversary celebration for the city and I think it's the 60-year anniversary of the symphony here in town.
- 10:50Speaker 5: So lots of things going on.

- 13:33Speaker 1: We'll see you there.
- 13:37Speaker 2: Hi, good afternoon.
- 13:38Speaker 2: I'm Ron Pfeiffer and this is Ella, and this is our little 66 GTO.
- 13:43Speaker 2: I purchased it in 05, and we drive it.
- 13:49Speaker 2: This is the original color of the car and everywhere we go that goes.
- 13:59Speaker 2: We've been in Miami, we've been in New York, we've been in Boston, we've been in Niagara Falls, we've been in Detroit, we've been in Chicago.
- 14:13Speaker 2: I've put like 35,000 miles on this car, so it's very reliable and it's very comfortable to travel in, because we have a little habit of putting a little extra luggage in the back, so that happens.
- 14:31Speaker 2: It's been very dependable.
- 14:35Speaker 2: I took the automatic transmission out of it and put a five speed transmission in it, so now I'm getting better gas mileage and I'm able to run with the speed limit at 75 with about 2, 3200 RPMs.
- 14:52Speaker 2: So I did add the tri-power to it and the tri-power has been good.
- 15:02Speaker 2: That's what was standard in 66, and this is a 66 tri-power on there.
- 15:09Speaker 2: The 65s and 64s were smaller carburetors.
- 15:13Speaker 2: This has a larger carburetor.
- 15:14Speaker 2: The motor's been rebuilt.
- 15:18Speaker 2: It's a 400.
- 15:19Speaker 2: It's an all-roller motor and I added air conditioning to it.
- 15:29Speaker 2: We don't use that air conditioner very much.
- 15:32Speaker 2: We go down the road with the windows rolled down.
- 15:35Speaker 2: I said, tell her.
- 15:36Speaker 2: That's her air conditioning right there.
- 15:38Speaker 2: We like that and we like to hear the pipes.
- 15:44Speaker 3: We like to hear the noise.
- 15:46Speaker 2: So, yep, the interior in the car is all original and this is a.
- 15:58Speaker 2: It's been painted once.
- 16:00Speaker 2: It was painted four or five years ago.
- 16:05Speaker 2: It's a driver, it's not a trailer queen.
- 16:10Speaker 2: We drive it everywhere we go Power Tours.
- 16:18Speaker 2: I've been on two Power Tours with it.
- 16:21Speaker 2: This one here came up and I've never been on this one.
- 16:24Speaker 2: So we're going to be doing this one with it.
- 16:26Speaker 2: And we had an easy ride coming over here from beaumont.
- 16:31Speaker 2: You know it wasn't too bad.
- 16:32Speaker 2: You know it's 400, some miles.
- 16:33Speaker 2: We kind of eased in here.
- 16:36Speaker 4: I live in netherland, how many?
- 16:39Speaker 2: years have you been on cruising the coast?
- 16:41Speaker 2: I've been in cruising the coast for 22 years.
- 16:43Speaker 2: We have been going down there and I got a standing reservation in the hotel we stay at Rolls over every year.
- 16:55Speaker 2: Yeah, that was kind of dirty because we haven't cleaned it up since we got here, you know.
- 17:04Speaker 2: But originally, Originally so.
- 17:22Speaker 2: So do you take the top down?
- 17:24Speaker 2: Yes, we usually ride with the top down in the evenings.
- 17:26Speaker 2: Yeah, like this, this is an evening to put the top down.
- 17:31Speaker 2: Last year, cruising the coast, we never put the top up.
- 17:35Speaker 2: It was like 76 or 78 outside.
- 17:39Speaker 2: We kept the top down all the time.
- 17:42Speaker 5: So is she driving.
- 17:44Speaker 2: No, I have a 1968 Ford Mustang.
- 17:48Speaker 2: Where is it?
- 17:49Speaker 2: It's at home.
- 17:50Speaker 2: It needed brakes.
- 17:51Speaker 2: I don't think I wanted to be driving without a brake.
- 17:54Speaker 2: As fast as I drive, I'd have to slow down way ahead of time.
- 18:01Speaker 2: Yes, we are car people Period.
- 18:06Speaker 2: We go to car shows probably a couple times a month.
- 18:11Speaker 2: Period.
- 18:11Speaker 2: We go to car shows probably a couple times a month.
- 18:12Speaker 2: Three, two, one.
- 18:12Speaker 2: Let's go and we travel.
- 18:15Speaker 2: We do them locally, but we also travel to wherever there's a good show going on.
- 18:22Speaker 2: Right, it's a 66.
- 18:28Speaker 2: 66 GTO.
- 18:29Speaker 2: This is Ella and this is our car and this is what we like.
- 18:43Speaker 5: This is Mike Mars and we're still out here at the Hot Rod Tour of Texas in downtown Victoria on the square Big event.
- 18:49Speaker 5: The Hot Rod Tour has been working with the city, got orchestras, got lots of dancers going on a lot of stuff, including cars, and in fact this is Alan Rothman and he's going to give us a quick look at his Buick Grand National that he brought over from League City.
- 19:05Speaker 5: That's right.
- 19:05Speaker 5: All right, tell us about this car?
- 19:08Speaker 4: Okay, well, this is a 1987 Buick Grand National.
- 19:11Speaker 4: It still retains the original Buick 109 V6 block.
- 19:16Speaker 4: It is completely built.
- 19:18Speaker 4: It's got billet main caps.
- 19:19Speaker 4: It's got a billet steel main girdle, stroker crank.
- 19:23Speaker 4: It's 250 cubic inches.
- 19:25Speaker 4: It has a set of ported TA performance SE heads.
- 19:31Speaker 4: They've been fully ported by Champion.
- 19:32Speaker 4: It's got a Champion race intake that's been fully ported.
- 19:36Speaker 4: It's got a 6766 precision dual ball bearing turbo.
- 19:41Speaker 4: The car runs on E85.
- 19:44Speaker 4: It's got an ECU GN.
- 19:45Speaker 4: Okay, so, it's got a 6766 precision dual ball bearing turbo, ta performance headers and Basically the car runs on e85.
- 19:58Speaker 4: It's got a flex fuel sensor so it can run on 93 octane and meth or e85.
- 20:02Speaker 4: It's controlled by an ECU GN engine control unit and the car makes right at 700 rear wheel horsepower on e85.
- 20:11Speaker 4: This is the v6.
- 20:12Speaker 4: This is the V6.
- 20:13Speaker 4: This is the V6, yes, sir, the car has ran 992 at 137.6 in the quarter mile, in a quarter, in a quarter mile.
- 20:22Speaker 4: Yes, sir, yeehaw.
- 20:23Speaker 4: And the car runs 6.0's consistently on the draggy, on the 60 to 130 whenever we have our weld wheels and tire the drag pack on it.
- 20:32Speaker 4: And the car is pretty consistent.
- 20:34Speaker 4: Still retains the 200R4 transmission, got a custom converter.
- 20:41Speaker 4: The transmission was built by Vince Janis out of Akron, ohio.
- 20:45Speaker 4: It's a full billet transmission.
- 20:47Speaker 4: It's got everything you can put in a 200R4 to keep it alive.
- 20:50Speaker 4: It's got a circle D lock up converter in it.
- 21:03Speaker 4: Looks all factory, all factory except for the dash.
- 21:06Speaker 4: I do have a fully digital dash display in it that runs off of my ECU, so it gives me all the pertinent data.
- 21:13Speaker 5: Well for you, running like that, you're going to need it.
- 21:16Speaker 4: Yeah, I can power it up for you if you want.
- 21:17Speaker 4: It'll take just a couple seconds for it to power up.
- 21:19Speaker 4: Never turn down.
- 21:21Speaker 4: Listening to a hot rod Takes about 30 seconds for the dash to power up.
- 21:25Speaker 4: Anyway, it's got the original 10 bolt 8.5 inch rear end.
- 21:28Speaker 4: It's been the original 10 bolt 8.5 inch rear end.
- 21:30Speaker 4: It's been fully built.
- 21:31Speaker 4: It's got a Detroit True Track, 342 gears, Moser axles, Pretty much everything that you can do to a street going Buick.
- 21:41Speaker 5: You can keep it on the street.
- 21:42Speaker 4: Oh yeah, we drive it everywhere.
- 21:43Speaker 4: We primarily built it as a pro touring car, but I do like to drag race it too and we do a lot of road racing stuff with it.
- 21:51Speaker 4: Some nice flames you got there.
- 21:54Speaker 4: Yeah, it'll load into our dash here shortly.
- 21:56Speaker 4: The car's got ride tech suspension front to back.
- 22:02Speaker 4: It's all tubular.
- 22:03Speaker 4: It's coil overs front and rear.
- 22:05Speaker 4: That's what our custom dash display looks like.
- 22:10Speaker 4: It's pulling all the information straight out of the ECU.
- 22:12Speaker 4: So I've got good feedback on what the car is doing every time I'm driving it Full time data logging.
- 22:19Speaker 4: We got to keep a pretty good handle on it.
- 22:22Speaker 4: When you're trying to make 700 horsepower out of a 35 year old V6 with old technology, you got to keep it pretty good.
- 22:30Speaker 4: Tabs on everything.
- 22:31Speaker 5: But it's like that'll do it.
- 22:33Speaker 4: Yeah, the interior is all original.
- 22:35Speaker 4: It's still original 1987 stuff the seats, the carpet, the dash, everything is exactly how it came from 1987.
- 22:41Speaker 4: How long have you had this car?
- 22:42Speaker 4: I've had this one about five years okay, been busy yeah, yeah, we stay busy with it.
- 22:47Speaker 4: Um, I've pretty much redone everything on it front to back.
- 22:52Speaker 4: The car was painted when I got it.
- 22:54Speaker 4: The interior is original, but drive, train and suspension wise, it's all been completely redone.
- 23:00Speaker 4: Car's lowered two inches all the way around on the ride tech coilovers.
- 23:10Speaker 5: Yeah, you can see on the tires.
- 23:11Speaker 5: I thought maybe it was the tires originally, but it looks good like that.
- 23:15Speaker 4: Car handles really well, drives really well, and then we can slap the race wheels and tires on it, go the track and bust off nines and then turn around and drive it home.
- 23:27Speaker 5: That is the great thing about it.
- 23:28Speaker 5: No putting it on the trailer and having to do all that, all the accessories work.
- 23:35Speaker 4: Factory AC still works.
- 23:36Speaker 4: It's actually still on R12 Freon even.
- 23:38Speaker 4: Yeah, ac blows ice cold.
- 23:41Speaker 4: Got a pretty killer stereo system in it, pretty much everything you need for a pro touring car that you can still drag, race and roll, race and do pretty much whatever you want to do with it.
- 23:55Speaker 5: Wow.
- 23:56Speaker 5: So now that you got it to this point, what are you gonna do with it next?
- 24:00Speaker 4: Right now it's pretty much in a holding pattern.
- 24:02Speaker 4: As long as it stays running the way it is, I do have a TA Performance aluminum dart and sleeve race block in my hands that we're going to be building for the future and that one will receive a Sunny Bryant crank, same heads we'll put a bigger turbo on it.
- 24:20Speaker 4: We'll probably shoot to make about 900 rear wheel with that combination and still stay just as drivable as this 700 rear wheel combination is.
- 24:28Speaker 4: Ideally.
- 24:30Speaker 4: We would like to get it to run low nines in the quarter and still stay in a full pro touring.
- 24:40Speaker 5: So is this your first hot rod tour.
- 24:42Speaker 4: I know this is my second.
- 24:43Speaker 4: I was here last year.
- 24:44Speaker 4: We had this car here for the tour last year and then when we made it to the Temple the Little River drag strip at Temple I started.
- 24:53Speaker 4: I developed some rear end problems and the rear end started making noise.
- 24:56Speaker 4: So I cut the last day off short last year to go ahead and turn around and drive the car home.
- 25:03Speaker 4: I didn't want to try to get further away from home while I knew the rear end was making noise.
- 25:07Speaker 4: So we got it home, rebuilt the rear end and it's been fine.
- 25:11Speaker 4: We've raced the car all year.
- 25:13Speaker 4: It's got a bunch of pools, a bunch of miles on it.
- 25:15Speaker 4: We put about 3,000 miles on it since the last hot rod tour of Texas, so we're pretty confident that we shouldn't have any problems this time around.
- 25:24Speaker 5: So where do you run it, when you say you race it?
- 25:26Speaker 4: Oh, we raced at a Houston Raceway Park.
- 25:28Speaker 4: The last time we made passes was in December of 23, right before the track closed down.
- 25:33Speaker 4: So we haven't made any passes since then.
- 25:36Speaker 4: We'll probably have to take it out to either Ennis, to Texas Motorplex, or take it out to Evadel Raceway, which is out towards Sealsby, towards East Texas.
- 25:48Speaker 4: That's the only other quarter mile tracks that are close to us.
- 25:52Speaker 4: But we do a lot of stuff with the Draggy, we do a lot of road racing with the car, so we have a pretty good handle on what it does and what we can run with and what we should stay away from when you can and where you can't.
- 26:03Speaker 5: Right, there's another track up in Lufkin.
- 26:06Speaker 5: That's a little bit more of a drive.
- 26:07Speaker 4: There is.
- 26:07Speaker 4: It's Pine Valley, that's up in Lufkin and it's actually an eighth-mile track, but I've heard that they're talking about extending that out to quarter-mile.
- 26:15Speaker 5: They're trying to.
- 26:16Speaker 5: They got NHRA sanctioned last year, so I think they're actually trying to get one of the points, one of the regional points of it, to come there.
- 26:24Speaker 4: Okay, and if they can make some of those things work, they're going to expand it?
- 26:37Speaker 4: Yeah, I would.
- 26:37Speaker 4: I would love to drag the car up there and, like I said when we went, we went in 992 off of the foot brake.
- 26:39Speaker 4: Um, really, only the second pass on the car went nines um, and then we launched off the trans brake and it left with the front tires tires up in the air.
- 26:43Speaker 4: When it came down it unloaded the rear suspension, blew the tires off.
- 26:46Speaker 4: It actually pushed both back tires into the rear fenders and cut both of my tires.
- 26:50Speaker 4: So I was done for the night, but I'm pretty sure that we would have had a high 970, low 980 in the car.
- 26:56Speaker 4: They're gonna stay hooked off of the trans break.
- 27:02Speaker 5: You can't buy.
- 27:03Speaker 5: You get on down in the teens or lower.
- 27:05Speaker 5: I mean that's stout stuff, you know.
- 27:06Speaker 4: There's something running mid to high nines out of a 35 year old v6.
- 27:10Speaker 4: It's, you know, and the car is pretty heavy too.
- 27:12Speaker 4: The car weighed 3930 with me in it, so it's a lot heavier than what people would think it would be.
- 27:16Speaker 4: But with the stereo system that's in the car, we have dynamat throughout the car to insulate the sound.
- 27:22Speaker 4: That adds a good amount of weight to the car.
- 27:24Speaker 4: So it's pretty heavy.
- 27:27Speaker 4: People would normally think these are 3500 pounds pounds.
- 27:30Speaker 4: My car was 3,720 without me in it and I'm 2,100.
- 27:33Speaker 4: It doesn't take much to add weight to it.
- 27:41Speaker 5: It's a very nice car.
- 27:42Speaker 5: Unusual, there's not a lot of them around.
- 27:47Speaker 4: Not a lot of them around, and you don't see many of them going out on long road trips.
- 27:51Speaker 4: You definitely don't see many of them drag racing or roll racing or anything like that.
- 27:55Speaker 4: No, they don't.
- 27:57Speaker 5: Well, cool, you here for the whole tour.
- 28:00Speaker 4: Yes, sir, we're going to go the whole tour this year.
- 28:02Speaker 4: That is the goal Make it all the way through the end and head back home.
- 28:07Speaker 5: Very good, very good.
- 28:08Speaker 5: Well, we wish you luck.
- 28:09Speaker 5: It's a beautiful car.
- 28:10Speaker 5: Hope you continue to enjoy it.
- 28:12Speaker 5: Thank you.
- 28:14Speaker 4: All right, thank you, I appreciate it.
