Speaker 1: What's up everyone, and welcome back to the Epstein Chronicles. Finally,
0:05
Speaker 1: somebody down in the US Virgin Islands is saying what
0:09
Speaker 1: everybody should be saying, and that is, why is the
0:12
Speaker 1: US Virgin Islands going after the banks before going after
0:17
Speaker 1: the local politicians and lawmakers who helped facilitate all of
0:21
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein's bullshit. Now you can go after the banks
0:24
Speaker 1: as well. I'm completely on board with that, But why
0:27
Speaker 1: are you going to ignore the real five hundred pound
0:30
Speaker 1: gorilla in the room, which is the fact that Jeffrey
0:32
Speaker 1: Epstein was allowed to set up shop on this island.
0:37
Speaker 1: And there's no excuse for it. No matter what anyone
0:40
Speaker 1: says about how the Virgin Islands was a victim here
0:44
Speaker 1: and how the Virgin Islands was manipulated by Epstein, I
0:48
Speaker 1: don't buy any of that. If the banks were enabling
0:52
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein, and if the banks were on board with
0:55
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein, then so were the politicians at the time
0:58
Speaker 1: who were running things in the Virgin Island. Now, obviously
1:01
Speaker 1: that doesn't mean the population of the Virgin Islands. The
1:04
Speaker 1: people of the Virgin Islands are as sickened by all
1:07
Speaker 1: of this as we are. But like the rest of us,
1:10
Speaker 1: they're stuck with shitty politicians and shitty lawmakers who really
1:14
Speaker 1: don't care about people who have been victimized by scombags
1:17
Speaker 1: like Jeffrey Epstein. And I've said it from the very
1:21
Speaker 1: beginning with Denise George and her cash grab here, and
1:24
Speaker 1: I'll continue to say it forever. Denise George is no
1:28
Speaker 1: hero here and the Virgin Islands certainly shouldn't have been
1:32
Speaker 1: entitled to one hundred and five million dollars. Today's article
1:37
Speaker 1: is from the Virgin Island Daily News headline VII files
1:42
Speaker 1: lawsuit against JP Morgan in Epstein case while ignoring local
1:46
Speaker 1: politicians who benefited. And this is an opinion piece that
1:51
Speaker 1: was sent to the paper by former local politician Janelle
1:56
Speaker 1: Surraw Dear editor, in real response to the Office of
2:01
Speaker 1: the Attorney General lawsuit against JP Morgan relative to the
2:05
Speaker 1: estate of Jeffrey Epstein's lawyers for the Financial Institution noted
2:09
Speaker 1: the following in their motion on February first to dismiss
2:14
Speaker 1: Indeed as a law enforcement agency USVII United States, Virgin
2:18
Speaker 1: Islands had access to much more. Along with the investigative
2:22
Speaker 1: advantage of physical proximity to Epstein's crimes. USVII did nothing
2:28
Speaker 1: to stop Epstein during this period, notwithstanding the fact that
2:32
Speaker 1: he registered with the USVII as a Tier one sex offender.
2:36
Speaker 1: To the contrary, during the same period, USVI granted Epstein
2:40
Speaker 1: and his business lucrative privileges and massive tax incentives. And
2:46
Speaker 1: when everybody was freaking out that Denise George got shown
2:49
Speaker 1: the door, I just shrugged my shoulders and kept it
2:51
Speaker 1: moving because I knew that she wasn't some kind of
2:55
Speaker 1: protagonist on this stage. She wasn't somebody that's out here
2:59
Speaker 1: trying to get justice. Her whole entire gig was trying
3:03
Speaker 1: to secure that bag. Folks, from day one, it was
3:06
Speaker 1: never about holding anyone responsible. It was never about holding
3:09
Speaker 1: anyone to account. It was about taking some money and running.
3:15
Speaker 1: I couldn't agree more. Our government is a filing claims
3:19
Speaker 1: against this financial institution while turning a blind eye to
3:22
Speaker 1: some local officials who may have personally benefited from mister Epstein.
3:28
Speaker 1: Let us put a few facts on the table. The
3:30
Speaker 1: chair of the Economic Development Authority EDA must sign off
3:34
Speaker 1: on all benefit documents. Who was the chair of the
3:38
Speaker 1: EDA at that time? Our President, Governor was after the
3:42
Speaker 1: chair signs the benefit document, it is forwarded to the
3:46
Speaker 1: governor for his signature. Who was the governor, Governor John P.
3:50
Speaker 1: DeJong Junior, who was the EDC beneficiary Southern Trust Company
3:55
Speaker 1: owned by mister Epstein, and who managed said company, the
3:59
Speaker 1: former first Lady, missus Cecial DeJong. And this has always
4:03
Speaker 1: been my biggest problem. All of these people who benefited
4:06
Speaker 1: from Jeffrey Epstein's behavior, they have some audacity, in some
4:11
Speaker 1: nerve to try and reach their hand in the pot
4:13
Speaker 1: again and get more money. So Denise George, this whole
4:18
Speaker 1: entire bullshit sicco investigation that they have going on is
4:23
Speaker 1: just that bullshit. It was never meant to hold anyone
4:26
Speaker 1: accountable and instead was nothing more than a pure cash grab.
4:32
Speaker 1: If we were to dive deeper, there appears to be
4:34
Speaker 1: a conflict of interest. How could a governor whose wife
4:38
Speaker 1: manage the operations of Southern Trust Company sign the benefit
4:42
Speaker 1: document without that being a conflict of interest? By Governor
4:46
Speaker 1: DeJong signing such, it gives the appearance that he enriched himself. Oh,
4:50
Speaker 1: it's not an appearance. All of these people down there
4:53
Speaker 1: in the Virgin Islands that had their handout getting money
4:56
Speaker 1: from Epstein. They enriched themselves and in turn they helped
5:00
Speaker 1: Tim abused those girls. Maybe not physically, but they enabled
5:04
Speaker 1: that abuse by looking the other way. Epstein has contributed
5:09
Speaker 1: to political campaigns of various senatorial, gubernatorial and congressional candidates.
5:15
Speaker 1: Within the local Democratic Party. His attorney and local base
5:19
Speaker 1: in the Virgin Islands were the ones holding major fundraisers
5:23
Speaker 1: for the incumbent. Unequivocally, a political culture was fostered within
5:28
Speaker 1: the local Democratic Party of the Virgin Islands that allowed
5:32
Speaker 1: mister Epstein to remain unchecked in exchange for his sponsorship
5:36
Speaker 1: and financial contributions. Bing bang boom. That goes right to
5:41
Speaker 1: the heart of it. Folks, everybody that was benefiting from him,
5:46
Speaker 1: they were all willing to look the other way continue
5:49
Speaker 1: to get that money, even though they knew what he
5:52
Speaker 1: was up to. And down in the Virgin Islands especially,
5:56
Speaker 1: we've heard from people who work in the airport, who
5:59
Speaker 1: come who have come forward and said, look, we knew
6:02
Speaker 1: what was going on, but what can we do about it.
6:04
Speaker 1: The local government's in on it. We must be honest
6:10
Speaker 1: about this discussion. This background calls into question the true
6:14
Speaker 1: reason Governor Bryan fired his attorney General Government House has
6:19
Speaker 1: said that Brian fired George over concerns of inaction on
6:22
Speaker 1: local issues at the AG's office. Bryant, in recent interviews
6:27
Speaker 1: with another publication, confirmed that was part of what led
6:31
Speaker 1: to her dismissal while seeking distance from the Epstein saga. Now, look,
6:36
Speaker 1: I don't find mister Brian to be a good guy either.
6:39
Speaker 1: I find him to be corrupt. I find the whole
6:41
Speaker 1: entire operation down here, in fact, to be corrupt. And
6:45
Speaker 1: that's my biggest problem. All of these people are jockeying
6:48
Speaker 1: down here like there's an actual good guy on the stage,
6:51
Speaker 1: and there is not. First and foremost, you know, I
6:54
Speaker 1: can't have an Attorney General that's launching civil suits that
6:57
Speaker 1: I don't know about. The governor said in the art
7:00
Speaker 1: What does that even mean? Yes you can, you're the governor.
7:03
Speaker 1: What the hell do you have to do with a
7:05
Speaker 1: civil suit that's being brought by a prosecutor. Sit down,
7:09
Speaker 1: shut up, and collect your stolen money. I, personally, and
7:14
Speaker 1: I'm sure many other Virgin Islanders alike, don't like our
7:18
Speaker 1: name being associated with Jeffrey Epstein and child pornography. You know,
7:22
Speaker 1: why are we going down that rabbit hole? And the
7:25
Speaker 1: irony to me was, you know, four years ago, everybody
7:28
Speaker 1: was scrambling not to have been on Jeffrey Epstein's receiving
7:31
Speaker 1: end of donations. Now we're suing him for the same
7:34
Speaker 1: dirty money. That seems a little awkward, right, I mean,
7:37
Speaker 1: that's inconsistent, and I just want us to get away
7:40
Speaker 1: from that. That's not the light we want to be
7:42
Speaker 1: seen in. If we never mentioned Jeffrey Epstein again, it
7:45
Speaker 1: would be good for me. Yeah, it sure would be,
7:47
Speaker 1: considering you were one of his boys, You scumbag. Now,
7:52
Speaker 1: don't get it twisted. I'm not saying that there wasn't
7:55
Speaker 1: scumbaggery by Governor Bryan here. There was, but I think
8:01
Speaker 1: it is a bridge too far to try and act
8:03
Speaker 1: like Denise George is some sort of champion. Brian also
8:09
Speaker 1: said that he never met Epstein, but acknowledged it was
8:13
Speaker 1: likely that some residents knew what was going on at
8:16
Speaker 1: Epstein's little Saint James private Island within our local political arena.
8:21
Speaker 1: We have turned a blind eye to Epstein because we
8:24
Speaker 1: too benefited from his sex trafficking enterprise. To put it bluntly,
8:29
Speaker 1: the Virgin Islands of the United States aided and abetted
8:33
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein, that's without question. And the author of this article,
8:38
Speaker 1: like I said, was Janelle Sorah. She is a former educator,
8:43
Speaker 1: senator and a candidate for lieutenant governor in the US
8:47
Speaker 1: Virgin Islands. But she summed it up correctly. All of
8:51
Speaker 1: these people involved here, from Governor Brian, the old politicians
8:55
Speaker 1: who were in charge of facilitating all of this for Epstein,
8:59
Speaker 1: they have some of audacity in some nerve to think
9:01
Speaker 1: that they're going to secure a bag, and the fact
9:04
Speaker 1: that they've already been able to get one hundred and
9:06
Speaker 1: five million dollars out of all of this just blows
9:09
Speaker 1: my mind. What about all of those unnamed girls that
9:13
Speaker 1: were abused by Epstein that don't have any of the
9:15
Speaker 1: publicity that some of the more well known survivors have,
9:20
Speaker 1: so there should be no money left over for them
9:22
Speaker 1: because the US Virgin Islands had to come in and
9:24
Speaker 1: get one hundred and five million dollars. I just don't
9:28
Speaker 1: find that to be right, and I don't think it's
9:31
Speaker 1: a good look. If you're interested in getting justice, that's
9:35
Speaker 1: one thing. But if you're going to sit here and
9:38
Speaker 1: try and secure that bag, and then Thumber knows that
9:41
Speaker 1: justice at the same time, Well, we're going to have
9:43
Speaker 1: a problem with that. And that's what's happening down here
9:46
Speaker 1: in the US Virgin Islands. Everybody knew what was going on.
9:50
Speaker 1: Everybody knew that Jeffrey Epstein was coming to that island
9:53
Speaker 1: to molest people, and the local politicians at the time
9:57
Speaker 1: they didn't do shit to stop it. In fact, they
10:00
Speaker 1: look the other way while their palm was out. And
10:03
Speaker 1: now they have the audacity to try and act like
10:06
Speaker 1: they're entitled to some money. That's just insane to me,
10:10
Speaker 1: and they shouldn't be entitled to another dime. In fact,
10:13
Speaker 1: anybody who helped Jeffrey Epstein, anybody who helped enable Jeffrey Epstein,
10:18
Speaker 1: and anybody who was involved with him on this island previously,
10:21
Speaker 1: they should be investigated. And if they were involved in
10:24
Speaker 1: any kind of financial malfeasance or other crimes, they should
10:29
Speaker 1: be prosecuted. Unfortunately, we all know that's never going to occur.
10:33
Speaker 1: All right, folks, Well that's gonna do it for this one.
10:36
Speaker 1: All of the information that goes with this episode can
10:39
Speaker 1: be found in the description box. When Gilaane Maxwell was
10:44
Speaker 1: first arrested and she was charged with the crimes that
10:47
Speaker 1: she was charged with. I said that I doubt that
10:50
Speaker 1: those will be the only charges that she sees throughout
10:54
Speaker 1: this prosecution. Well, today we come to find out that
10:58
Speaker 1: Gilaine Maxwell is investigat, also under investigation in the US
11:03
Speaker 1: Virgin Islands for her participation in Jeffrey Epstein's criminal enterprise
11:09
Speaker 1: and sex trafficking ring. Now, if you take a look
11:14
Speaker 1: at R Kelly and you take a look at Nexium,
11:18
Speaker 1: you see that both of those groups enterprises have been
11:24
Speaker 1: charged with RICO. Now you look at all of the
11:27
Speaker 1: evidence in those cases, and then you look at the
11:29
Speaker 1: evidence in the Jeffrey Epstein case and the Maxwell case,
11:33
Speaker 1: and there is zero way you can get to any
11:36
Speaker 1: point without saying to yourself, how in the hell is
11:41
Speaker 1: the Gilean Maxwell and Jeffrey Epstein enterprise not slapped with
11:45
Speaker 1: RICO already? Well, my opinion, it's coming, folks. The second
11:52
Speaker 1: they start naming other co conspirators and other people are
11:56
Speaker 1: being arrested, well, then they're going to slap them with
11:59
Speaker 1: the steering charges. In my opinion, especially considering that R.
12:04
Speaker 1: Kelly was being prosecuted by the Eastern District in New York,
12:08
Speaker 1: and we know that the SDNY is usually even more
12:14
Speaker 1: draconian than the Eastern District. So you would think that
12:18
Speaker 1: the sdn Y would be all over Rico already. But
12:23
Speaker 1: with Gilean Maxwell being under investigation in the Virgin Islands
12:27
Speaker 1: as well, in this coming to light, it just lends
12:30
Speaker 1: more credence to the fact that there are going to
12:33
Speaker 1: be more charges for her and for whatever co conspirators
12:38
Speaker 1: they round up. Our article today is from Bloomberg dot Com.
12:43
Speaker 1: The headline is Gilean Maxwell is also under investigation in
12:47
Speaker 1: the US Virgin Islands. The author of this article, Tom Metcalf,
12:54
Speaker 1: Gillane Maxwell is also under investigation by the US Virgin
12:57
Speaker 1: Islands for her alleged participation and Jeffrey Epstein's sex trafficking operation.
13:03
Speaker 1: So that means there is another investigation that's running parallel
13:08
Speaker 1: to the one that is going on by the Southern District.
13:12
Speaker 1: This is what I called for New Mexico as well.
13:14
Speaker 1: It's nice to see that the Virgin Islands are getting
13:16
Speaker 1: involved here. I would like to see concurrent state investigations
13:20
Speaker 1: running at the same time as these federal investigations. Let's
13:25
Speaker 1: throw the book at these people, folks. The Caribbean Territory
13:31
Speaker 1: gave notice of its investigation in a court filing Friday
13:34
Speaker 1: in which it seeks to intervene in a lawsuit she
13:37
Speaker 1: filed against Jeffrey Epstein's estate. The socialite co conspirator, child
13:43
Speaker 1: abuser all around scusbeg sued earlier this year seeking reimbursement
13:47
Speaker 1: for legal fees she was incurring, claiming Epstein had repeatedly
13:52
Speaker 1: promised her that he would support her financially, and we
13:56
Speaker 1: went over all of that. We've covered that before. Elaine
14:00
Speaker 1: Maxwell said that Epstein was going to pay for all
14:03
Speaker 1: of her legal fees no matter what she said. She
14:05
Speaker 1: had it in rioting blah blah blah blah blah blah blah.
14:08
Speaker 1: So she sued the estate looking for those legal fees.
14:13
Speaker 1: The Islands Department of Justice is investigating Maxwell's participation in
14:17
Speaker 1: Epstein's criminal sex trafficking and sexual abuse conduct. According to
14:23
Speaker 1: the July tenth filing, It is also using the case
14:26
Speaker 1: to subpoena Maxwell, a process the government said she has
14:29
Speaker 1: evaded since March. So not only are they that, not
14:34
Speaker 1: only they have her under investigation, they're going to use
14:37
Speaker 1: the power of subpoena to make her appear in court
14:40
Speaker 1: via digitally or whatever it may be, but Glaine Maxwell's screwed, folks.
14:45
Speaker 1: She's in big trouble here. Is This is a significant
14:50
Speaker 1: situation for her, and it's only going to complicate things
14:53
Speaker 1: even more. The government's need to intervene is further fueled
14:59
Speaker 1: by maxwell inappropriate use of the Virgin Islands courts to
15:02
Speaker 1: seek payment and reimbursement from the Epstein criminal enterprise, while
15:07
Speaker 1: she circumvents the service of process of government subpoenas related
15:11
Speaker 1: to her involvement in that same criminal enterprise. The filing states, Wow,
15:17
Speaker 1: they're letting her have it here with this one, Boys
15:19
Speaker 1: and girls, She's gonna She's looking at some serious trouble here.
15:23
Speaker 1: There's no doubt about it. She has not only the
15:28
Speaker 1: SDNY digging deep, but now in the Virgin Islands it's
15:33
Speaker 1: no longer a matter of just civil this is a
15:36
Speaker 1: criminal matter. And they have subpoena power here just like
15:40
Speaker 1: any other district, and they can call whoever they want
15:43
Speaker 1: to come and testify. So it's gonna be very interesting
15:47
Speaker 1: to see where this ends up. It's gonna be very
15:49
Speaker 1: interesting to see just how hard the Virgin Islands goes
15:54
Speaker 1: after a prosecution here. Epstein was a resident of the
15:59
Speaker 1: Virgin Islands for more than twenty years and own two islands,
16:03
Speaker 1: Little Saint James and Great Saint James, which the government
16:06
Speaker 1: said it's seeking to claim as part of its legal effort.
16:09
Speaker 1: And there is the rub folks. The Virgin Islands and
16:15
Speaker 1: their elected officials played a huge part in facilitating Jeffrey
16:19
Speaker 1: Epstein's crimes by giving him all sorts of permits for
16:24
Speaker 1: his banks, giving him all sorts of leeway down there.
16:28
Speaker 1: And then Denise George, who is the Attorney General now
16:32
Speaker 1: down there, thinks that she is going to seize these
16:36
Speaker 1: islands and that money is going to go to the
16:40
Speaker 1: Virgin Island's bank account. Sorry, that is not going to
16:44
Speaker 1: work for me. Anything that's seized in regards to Jeffrey
16:48
Speaker 1: Epstein goes to the estate and then is dispersed to
16:52
Speaker 1: the survivors. No governments should get a dollar of it,
16:55
Speaker 1: No politicians should get a dollar of it, And certainly
16:59
Speaker 1: the Virgin Islands, who couldn't even be bothered to regulate
17:03
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein in the first place, they most certainly shouldn't
17:07
Speaker 1: get any of it. David Caddy, a lawyer representing Maxwell
17:12
Speaker 1: on the Virgin Islands, didn't immediately return a call an
17:15
Speaker 1: email seeking comment about the investigation. Mark Cohen, a lawyer
17:19
Speaker 1: for Maxwell in her criminal case in New York, also
17:22
Speaker 1: didn't immediately respond to request for comment. Yeah, and I
17:26
Speaker 1: would be surprised if we hear them with the comment
17:30
Speaker 1: if they answer with the comment, considering how wide and
17:37
Speaker 1: long range all of these charges are now, so the
17:40
Speaker 1: lawyers in New York are going to have to contend
17:42
Speaker 1: with what's going on in the Virgin Islands as well,
17:45
Speaker 1: and this could become a really, really, really interesting situation. Maxwell,
17:50
Speaker 1: the daughter of late British publishing tycoon Robert Maxwell, faces
17:54
Speaker 1: multiple charges in the US, including allegations that in the
17:57
Speaker 1: nineteen nineties she lured girls at as young as fourteen
18:01
Speaker 1: for sexual encounters with Epstein, her former associate and lover
18:05
Speaker 1: and co conspirator and business partner and partner running the
18:10
Speaker 1: blackmail ring. It goes on and on, Okay, Gilaine Maxwell
18:13
Speaker 1: was not a victim. She was not taken advantage of
18:15
Speaker 1: by Epstein. Gilaine Maxwell had a leadership role. Gilaine Maxwell
18:20
Speaker 1: deserves to face every single charge that the government feels
18:25
Speaker 1: like they can make stick on her. That's right, every
18:27
Speaker 1: last one. She has been in US custody since her
18:35
Speaker 1: arrest this month in New Hampshire. Epstein died last year
18:38
Speaker 1: in a federal jail in Manhattan while awaiting trial on
18:40
Speaker 1: federal sex trafficking charges. Maxwell fifty eight is due to
18:45
Speaker 1: enter her plea in New York on Tuesday. Her legal
18:48
Speaker 1: team has requested she'd be freed on five million dollars
18:51
Speaker 1: bill as she awaits her trial, but prosecutors have called
18:54
Speaker 1: her at extreme flight risk. Yeah, you think an extreme
18:56
Speaker 1: flight risk passports, connections all over the world, enough money
19:01
Speaker 1: to walk into a realty office and put down you know,
19:04
Speaker 1: a million fazzles to get a house. Yeah, she's not
19:08
Speaker 1: a flight risk. She should just be given bail. Let
19:10
Speaker 1: her go hang out in the lapses of luxury at home,
19:13
Speaker 1: just post up, watch some TV, and you know, wait
19:17
Speaker 1: for the trial to start. Absolutely not. She needs to
19:20
Speaker 1: be remanded into the custody of the federal government and
19:23
Speaker 1: that is where she needs to stay for the rest
19:25
Speaker 1: of her life. Ariel Smith, Assistant Attorney General in the
19:30
Speaker 1: Virgin Islands, didn't immediately respond to a phone call and
19:33
Speaker 1: an email requesting comment, and I doubt that they will
19:37
Speaker 1: when it comes to stuff like this. It's very rare
19:40
Speaker 1: that prosecutors have anything to say. So you know for
19:44
Speaker 1: a fact, though, that they're working double time to dig
19:50
Speaker 1: up whatever they can to tig e Lane Maxwell to
19:53
Speaker 1: this criminal enterprise. And now that we have these two
19:58
Speaker 1: investigations cracking off in two different locations in the United States,
20:02
Speaker 1: two different states where these girls, I mean a territory
20:06
Speaker 1: in a state where these girls were trafficked over state
20:09
Speaker 1: lines and international lines for sex trafficking, how is that
20:12
Speaker 1: any different from what say R Kelly was doing. R Kelly, though,
20:17
Speaker 1: got slapped with RICO and yet here we are still
20:20
Speaker 1: waiting for Jeffrey Epstein and Gilaine Maxwell and their associates
20:25
Speaker 1: to be slapped with a RICO charge. Hopefully it's coming,
20:30
Speaker 1: and hopefully this is a prelude to that, because once
20:36
Speaker 1: we hear that word thrown around in this case, once
20:38
Speaker 1: we hear that Gilaine Maxwell is being charged with racketeering,
20:44
Speaker 1: and once we hear that there are other co conspirators
20:46
Speaker 1: who have been arrested who are part of the criminal conspiracy,
20:50
Speaker 1: that's when I think we'll start hearing a lot more
20:52
Speaker 1: about RICO charges and the significance of what's coming down
20:56
Speaker 1: the pipe for these people, because I've seen a lot
20:59
Speaker 1: of people talking about all these charges aren't enough, and
21:02
Speaker 1: I agree one hundred percent the initial charges most certainly
21:05
Speaker 1: aren't enough. They're only for a short period of time
21:08
Speaker 1: for what Gilan Maxwell was really doing over a long
21:11
Speaker 1: period of time. Right, So when I say initial charges,
21:15
Speaker 1: I have always thought, and I still remain thinking this way,
21:18
Speaker 1: that these are just the initial charges that we're going
21:22
Speaker 1: to see. We're definitely going to see the case expand,
21:26
Speaker 1: the scope of the case broaden, and we are going
21:29
Speaker 1: to definitely see co conspirators charge with other crimes. The
21:33
Speaker 1: question remains who, what and when. If you like to

21:56
Speaker 1: the episode are in the description box. What's up, everyone,
22:02
Speaker 1: and welcome back to the Epstein Chronicles. We've talked a
22:06
Speaker 1: lot recently about what's going on in the US Virgin
22:10
Speaker 1: Islands and the lawsuits that are making their way through
22:13
Speaker 1: the system. Well, we got an update on that lawsuit
22:17
Speaker 1: that has been filed by the United States Virgin Islands
22:20
Speaker 1: against JP Morgan, and Judge Rakoff has said now that
22:25
Speaker 1: he's going to allow them to amend their complaint. So
22:29
Speaker 1: let's dive into this article from the Saint Thomas source
22:33
Speaker 1: and let's get caught up headline VII may add charge
22:37
Speaker 1: in JP Morgan suit over Epstein dealings, judge rules. This
22:41
Speaker 1: article was authored by Seeing Cobb. The VI Attorney General's
22:47
Speaker 1: Office may amend its complaint against JP Morgan Chase to
22:51
Speaker 1: add a claim that the bank obstructed enforcement of the
22:54
Speaker 1: Federal Trafficking Victims Protection Act in its business dealings with
22:59
Speaker 1: a late disgraced financier, pedophile Jeffrey Epstein. The judge overseeing
23:03
Speaker 1: the case ruled on Monday, and that's the right ruling
23:07
Speaker 1: in my opinion, one hundred percent the right ruling. You
23:10
Speaker 1: have to let them amend the lawsuit if new evidence
23:14
Speaker 1: has been provided or if new information has become available, right,
23:18
Speaker 1: And that's what the judge did. In a related order,
23:21
Speaker 1: US District Judge Judd S. Raykoff rejected a bid by
23:25
Speaker 1: one time JP Morgan executive James jeff Staley, faced with
23:30
Speaker 1: a third party lawsuit by his former employer, to hold
23:33
Speaker 1: him accountable for damages should the plaintiffs prevail to have
23:37
Speaker 1: his case heard separately. And we talked about this yesterday.
23:40
Speaker 1: The judge was calling him a whiner and said there's
23:43
Speaker 1: no way that he's separating the case. Staley handled Epstein's
23:47
Speaker 1: fifty plus JP Morgan accounts and is at the center
23:51
Speaker 1: of the Virgin Island government's complaint and another brought against
23:55
Speaker 1: the bank by anonymous Epstein survivor, Jane do Number one,
23:59
Speaker 1: who also filed suit against Deutsche Bank, where Epstein took
24:03
Speaker 1: his business after Staley moved to Blue Mountain Capital in
24:07
Speaker 1: twenty thirteen and then to Barclays Bank in twenty and fifteen.
24:12
Speaker 1: So why does Jeffrey Epstein need fifty accounts? I mean,
24:15
Speaker 1: shouldn't one or two be quite sufficient? But you need
24:18
Speaker 1: fifty of them? What were you up to, Jeff Epstein?
24:21
Speaker 1: And what was your buddy Jeff Staley doing with you?
24:24
Speaker 1: The cases have been consolidated for trial purposes by Raycoff,
24:28
Speaker 1: and in Monday's ruling, he dismissed Staley's claims that the
24:32
Speaker 1: court's deadlines for discovery and the trial date would create
24:35
Speaker 1: an undo burden. However, he did modify the pre trial schedule,
24:40
Speaker 1: adding an additional seven weeks for discovery by Staley's attorneys
24:43
Speaker 1: to July eighteenth, But he's not moving the trial date.
24:47
Speaker 1: Raycoff has been pretty adamant about that. He wants this
24:50
Speaker 1: trial to kick off on October twenty third, and he
24:53
Speaker 1: doesn't want to hear any bs about it. And for Staley,
24:56
Speaker 1: this guy has some nerve. He's had all of these
24:59
Speaker 1: years to prepare or tangible defense for when the walls
25:02
Speaker 1: come closing in. And this is all the guy can
25:04
Speaker 1: come up with. Oh, I need some more time, lafungul
25:07
Speaker 1: more time. You've had plenty, and you have high powered
25:10
Speaker 1: lawyers all over the place. Have them take care of it.
25:13
Speaker 1: That's basically what the judge told them. The trial date
25:16
Speaker 1: of October twenty third already extended six weeks from the
25:20
Speaker 1: original date of September fifth to accommodate Staley remains unchanged.
25:25
Speaker 1: Rakeoff ruled, so he gave them that little bit in
25:27
Speaker 1: the beginning, And of course it's never enough for a
25:30
Speaker 1: guy like Staley. Let's kick the can down the road
25:32
Speaker 1: a little bit more and let's try and get some
25:34
Speaker 1: more time to figure out a way to get off
25:37
Speaker 1: the hook. That's all it's about, right, more time, more time,
25:40
Speaker 1: more time. And you see it with these rich people
25:43
Speaker 1: all the time. Anytime they're in trouble, somehow miraculously they
25:47
Speaker 1: get their case suspended, or it's going to be later
25:50
Speaker 1: on down the road, whatever it might be. But this
25:53
Speaker 1: time Staley has run out of real estate and Rakeoff
25:56
Speaker 1: ain't having it. JP Morgan had opposed the VI government's
26:01
Speaker 1: motion to amend its complaint, which Racoff had allowed to
26:04
Speaker 1: proceed on one count that JP Morgan Chase knowingly benefited
26:09
Speaker 1: from participating in a sex trafficking venture in violation of
26:14
Speaker 1: the Federal Trafficking Victims Protection Act or TVPA, in an
26:18
Speaker 1: order March twentieth regarding the bank's motion to dismiss the cases.
26:23
Speaker 1: So there were other accusations made, but after hearing the
26:27
Speaker 1: preliminaries and going over the case, Judge Rakoff decided that
26:32
Speaker 1: only this count would proceed. But this is a biggie here, folks,
26:36
Speaker 1: is a big count. Now. Do I want the full
26:39
Speaker 1: monty and a million counts dropped on these suns of bitches?
26:41
Speaker 1: Of course, but at least this very serious charge hung around.
26:46
Speaker 1: In his ruling Monday, Raykoff agreed with the Bank that
26:49
Speaker 1: the government could have included the obstruction charge when it
26:53
Speaker 1: filed its initial complaint on December twenty seventh, and then
26:56
Speaker 1: amended that complaint on January tenth. The same time, However,
27:01
Speaker 1: there does not appear to be a good reason to
27:04
Speaker 1: deny the USVII the leave that it seeks, the judge wrote,
27:08
Speaker 1: noting that many of JP Morgan's arguments simply rehash points
27:12
Speaker 1: it made against Doe's obstruction claim, and that the usvi's
27:16
Speaker 1: other claims which the court rejected when it denied in
27:20
Speaker 1: part the bank's motion to dismiss the cases. So look,
27:25
Speaker 1: they wanted to go back and rehash their arguments as
27:28
Speaker 1: to why this shouldn't happen, but Judge Raykoff just wasn't
27:31
Speaker 1: having it. And now JP Morgan and Jess Staley are
27:35
Speaker 1: going to be tethered together throughout this whole entire ordeal.
27:39
Speaker 1: The usvii's delay in pleading an obstruction claim did indeed
27:43
Speaker 1: deny JP Morgan an opportunity to attack that claim in
27:48
Speaker 1: its motion to dismiss, But JP Morgan's response to this
27:51
Speaker 1: motion suggests that it would not have made any credible
27:55
Speaker 1: arguments that were not already before the court, Rakoff ruled.
27:59
Speaker 1: So what he's saying, even if they made these arguments
28:02
Speaker 1: to him, and this was submitted at the beginning, he
28:06
Speaker 1: still would have ruled in favor of the USVII government
28:10
Speaker 1: and allow them to amend their complaint for the foregoing reasons.
28:15
Speaker 1: The Court hereby grants the usvi's motion to amend its complaint.
28:20
Speaker 1: The usvii's second amended complaint will hereafter be the operative
28:24
Speaker 1: complaint in this case, he wrote. As for Staley, Raykov said,
28:29
Speaker 1: he essential to the allegations against JP Morgan, and therefore
28:33
Speaker 1: it makes no sense to hear the bank suit against
28:36
Speaker 1: him separately. One hundred percent. Let's just get it all
28:40
Speaker 1: tied up in a nice little bow, and let's get
28:42
Speaker 1: things moving. And you know what would be real nice
28:45
Speaker 1: if we saw some criminal complaints come out of all
28:47
Speaker 1: of this. Do I have any faith that we will
28:49
Speaker 1: see that? No, I don't, but it would be nice,
28:52
Speaker 1: right Imagine somebody actually being held responsible for their role
28:56
Speaker 1: in Jeffrey Epstein's criminal enterprise. Boy, that would be a change.
29:01
Speaker 1: Though not always identified by name, Staley is a key
29:04
Speaker 1: figure in the allegations made in the plaintiff and co
29:07
Speaker 1: plaintiff's complaints, as well as the sole defendant named in
29:11
Speaker 1: the third party complaint filed by the defendant, JP Morgan
29:14
Speaker 1: Chase Bank North America. Ray Cooff wrote, regardless of any
29:19
Speaker 1: putative severance, he and the facts relating to him will
29:23
Speaker 1: therefore be a prominent focus of the trial of the
29:27
Speaker 1: underlying case between plaintiff Jane do One co plaintiff, the
29:31
Speaker 1: Government of the United States Virgin Islands, and JP Morgan.
29:35
Speaker 1: Under these circumstances, it would make no sense to sever
29:38
Speaker 1: the case against Staley, the judge ruled. He also noted
29:42
Speaker 1: that Staley is represented by a four hundred attorney law firm,
29:46
Speaker 1: Williams and Connolly of Washington, d C. Recognized as one
29:50
Speaker 1: of the world's premier litigation firms, and expressed doubt that
29:54
Speaker 1: the timeline will present the burden. Indeed, the former CEO's
29:58
Speaker 1: lead attorney is Brendan's Sullivan Junior, who represented Lieutenant Colonel
30:03
Speaker 1: Oliver North in the wake of the Iran Contra scandal
30:07
Speaker 1: of the late nineteen eighties, as well as the lacrosse
30:10
Speaker 1: players in the Duke University rape case, among many other
30:14
Speaker 1: high profile cases. Both DOE and the VI government alleged
30:18
Speaker 1: that Staley enjoyed a profound friendship with Epstein, a convicted
30:22
Speaker 1: sex offender pedophile whose main residence was Little Saint James,
30:26
Speaker 1: his private estate located just off Saint Thomas. According to
30:30
Speaker 1: court documents, that relationship continued up until Epstein's death by
30:35
Speaker 1: apparent suicide in August twenty nineteen in his New York
30:38
Speaker 1: City jail cell, where he was being held on federal
30:42
Speaker 1: human trafficking charges. Those charges stemmed from an investigation into
30:47
Speaker 1: Epstein's controversial two thousand and eight non prosecution agreement with
30:52
Speaker 1: federal prosecutors in Florida, under which he pled guilty to
30:56
Speaker 1: state charges of soliciting and procuring a minor for prostitution,
31:01
Speaker 1: despite evidence that dozens more girls were involved. Yeah, literally dozens.
31:06
Speaker 1: That's not hyperbole either, dozens more girls. But somehow that's
31:09
Speaker 1: the only charge that Jeffrey Epstein gets hit with. Doe
31:14
Speaker 1: had also sought to have Staley's case severed from the
31:17
Speaker 1: rest on the grounds that JP Morgan's true reason for
31:20
Speaker 1: bringing Staley into the lawsuit is to harass and intimidate
31:24
Speaker 1: not only Jane Doe, but also other Epstein victims by
31:28
Speaker 1: forcing her to share private medical records and her most
31:31
Speaker 1: intimate communications with one of her abusers. However, Rakoff found that,
31:37
Speaker 1: aside from the fact that JP Morgan unequivocally denies this
31:41
Speaker 1: unsupported accusation about Wyat suits Staley, Jane Doe one cannot
31:46
Speaker 1: have been blind to the fact that, in bringing a
31:49
Speaker 1: lawsuit that accuses JP Morgan of facilitating mister Epstein's alleged
31:53
Speaker 1: sex trafficking of her and others, sensitive matters would necessarily
31:59
Speaker 1: have to be the subject of discovery. He said. The
32:02
Speaker 1: proper way to handle this is by making such discovery
32:05
Speaker 1: subject to be confidential treatment. And indeed, JP Morgan represents
32:10
Speaker 1: that it has therefore agreed to every request to make
32:14
Speaker 1: matters confidential made by Jane Doe. Rakeoff ruled both JP
32:19
Speaker 1: Morgan and deutsch Bank have denied wrongdoing, with JP Morgan
32:23
Speaker 1: stating that the VI government's claims against it strained credulity. Well,
32:28
Speaker 1: come October twenty third, we'll see about that, especially now
32:31
Speaker 1: that Judge Rakeoff has allowed the amended complaint to go through.
32:36
Speaker 1: And now with that fact, not only are they facing
32:40
Speaker 1: the charge of benefiting from Jeffrey Epstein's sex trafficking enterprise,
32:45
Speaker 1: they're also facing a complaint of obstruction. So that's where
32:49
Speaker 1: things stand as of now, and I'm sure we're going
32:52
Speaker 1: to get a lot more before October twenty third, and
32:55
Speaker 1: when we do, it'll be added right to the catalog
32:58
Speaker 1: and we'll keep it rolling, all right, everybody that's gonna
33:01
Speaker 1: do it for this one. All of the information that
33:04
Speaker 1: goes with the episode can be found in the description box.
33:07
Speaker 1: What's up, everyone, and welcome back to the Epstein Chronicles.
33:12
Speaker 1: Today we're gonna talk a little bit more about Les
33:14
Speaker 1: Wexner and what's going on down in the United States
33:18
Speaker 1: Virgin Islands. We know that Les Wexner has been subpoenaed
33:23
Speaker 1: and he tried to dodge those subpoenas by having his
33:26
Speaker 1: security run interference when the process server showed up. Well,
33:31
Speaker 1: the judge decided, after a request from the prosecutors, that
33:35
Speaker 1: Les Wexner could be subpoenad via mail. And that's something
33:39
Speaker 1: that we don't see all that often. Usually when you're
33:42
Speaker 1: getting served, you have to have the process server hand
33:45
Speaker 1: you those papers. But when you're playing games like Les
33:49
Speaker 1: Wexner or the way Glaine Maxwell was, these judges they're
33:53
Speaker 1: not gonna let you get away with it. Eventually it's
33:56
Speaker 1: gonna come to the point where they've had enough and
33:59
Speaker 1: they'll take it to the next step and let you
34:01
Speaker 1: get subpoena via mail. We've seen it before and I'm
34:05
Speaker 1: sure we're going to see it again. So let's get
34:08
Speaker 1: into this article from Inside Edition and let's see what
34:11
Speaker 1: Chris Spargo has for us. Headline Jeffrey Epstein's staff who
34:16
Speaker 1: say pedophile had underage girl on island and less Wexner
34:20
Speaker 1: subpoena in the JP Morgan case. And the staff that
34:24
Speaker 1: they're talking about here are the island managers and their
34:28
Speaker 1: names are Miles and Kathy Alexander. All Right, onto the article,
34:34
Speaker 1: and this article was originally published on February twenty first
34:37
Speaker 1: of twenty twenty three. In a civil lawsuit against JP
34:42
Speaker 1: Morgan Chase Bank, lawyers for the Virgin Islands have also
34:45
Speaker 1: issued a subpoena for les Wexner, requesting information directly related
34:50
Speaker 1: to the billionaire businessman's work with Epstein. Les Wexner may
34:55
Speaker 1: finally be forced to reveal new details about his relationship
34:59
Speaker 1: with Jeffrey Epstein. I highly doubt it. I'm sure he's
35:02
Speaker 1: going to have to release some information, but it's going
35:06
Speaker 1: to be curated. You really think that Less Wexner, the
35:09
Speaker 1: King of Columbus, Ohio, is going to come into this
35:12
Speaker 1: ill prepared without a billion dollar legal team. You already
35:16
Speaker 1: know that they're working behind the scenes to mitigate the
35:19
Speaker 1: fallout for their client, Les Wexner, in a civil lawsuit
35:23
Speaker 1: against JP Morgan Chase Bank, lawyers for the government of
35:26
Speaker 1: the US Virgin Islands have issued a subpoena for Wexner,
35:30
Speaker 1: requesting information directly related to the billionaire businessman's work with
35:34
Speaker 1: Epstein and why he ended his professional relationship with the
35:39
Speaker 1: convicted pedophile. Well, he'll tell you it has to do
35:42
Speaker 1: with Epstein stealing money from him. But I've always said
35:45
Speaker 1: that was the cover that was put in place from
35:48
Speaker 1: the very beginning, all right, So if you ever get nailed,
35:51
Speaker 1: we'll say that you stole money from me, and that'll
35:53
Speaker 1: be my cover. Pretty simple, right, but effective. Obviously effective.
35:58
Speaker 1: Considering less wex Wexner has not been called to the
36:01
Speaker 1: carpet yet. Of particular interest to prosecutors is a payment
36:06
Speaker 1: JP Morgan allegedly processed from an Epstein charitable organization Enhanced Education,
36:13
Speaker 1: to Wexner in the amount of one hundred twenty four thousand,
36:16
Speaker 1: two hundred and thirty two dollars, according to a recent
36:20
Speaker 1: court motion filed by the lawyer for the Government of
36:23
Speaker 1: the Virgin Islands. Inside addition, obtained a copy of that
36:27
Speaker 1: motion and the subpoena prosecutor is issued for Wexner the
36:32
Speaker 1: less Wexner subpoena. Lawyers for the government submitted the motion
36:36
Speaker 1: in hopes of getting the judge to issue an order
36:39
Speaker 1: allowing service of the subpoena to Wexner by certified mail
36:43
Speaker 1: after his staff members allegedly blocked a court server from
36:46
Speaker 1: delivering the document to Wexner on multiple occasions. And this
36:50
Speaker 1: is a tactic that's used by rich people the world over.
36:53
Speaker 1: If they don't want to get served, they'll just retreat
36:55
Speaker 1: back into their mansion. It's private property. They'll have their
36:59
Speaker 1: guards patrol the grounds and they won't let anybody on
37:02
Speaker 1: the grounds, and you'll have to play a game of
37:04
Speaker 1: cat and mouse, and hopefully you catch them when they're
37:07
Speaker 1: going to Starbucks or maybe when they're headed out for
37:09
Speaker 1: their alfalfa sandwich or whatever the hell these weirdos eat.
37:14
Speaker 1: The filing claims that attempts to serve Wexner in person
37:17
Speaker 1: on February eighth and February eleventh at his home in
37:20
Speaker 1: Ohio failed after a court server was allegedly refused access
37:25
Speaker 1: to the eighty five year old founder of l Brands.
37:28
Speaker 1: A security guard allegedly would not allow the server to
37:31
Speaker 1: access or communicate with Wexner on the first attempt, says
37:35
Speaker 1: the filing, and the security guard allegedly prevented service again
37:40
Speaker 1: during that second visit, according to the motion, motion to
37:44
Speaker 1: serve Les Wexner by certified mail. An attempt to serve
37:48
Speaker 1: Wexner at the offices of his charitable foundation also failed
37:52
Speaker 1: on February eighth, says the court document, after the server
37:56
Speaker 1: was blocked from physical entry and was told via intercom
37:59
Speaker 1: that Wexat was not present and only came into the
38:02
Speaker 1: foundation two or three times per year. Now, why would
38:06
Speaker 1: somebody like Les Wexner be trying to avoid this? Why
38:09
Speaker 1: wouldn't he just go and handle his business like any
38:13
Speaker 1: of us would have to. Oh, that's right, special treatment,
38:16
Speaker 1: I forgot. Wexner is being asked in the subpoena to
38:20
Speaker 1: provide the prosecutors with all documents reflecting all communications with
38:25
Speaker 1: or concerning Epstein, including, but not limited to all communications
38:31
Speaker 1: regarding services or advice provided to you by Epstein and
38:35
Speaker 1: your termination of Epstein, all documents reflecting or concerning all
38:41
Speaker 1: communications with JP Morgan, Chase regarding Epstein, all documents reflecting
38:46
Speaker 1: concerning Epstein, and introductions or payments to women from massages
38:52
Speaker 1: or for modeling services, or regarding trafficking or sexual abuse
38:57
Speaker 1: of women by Epstein. Lawyers for the government are also
39:02
Speaker 1: hoping to get more information about communications between Wexner and
39:06
Speaker 1: JP Morgan from two thousand and eight, the year that
39:09
Speaker 1: Wexner ended his professional relationship with Epstein. According to the motion,
39:13
Speaker 1: and again, that whole entire thing was a cover the
39:17
Speaker 1: whole He stole money from me, the whole entire Oh,
39:21
Speaker 1: I had no idea what Epstein was up to. All
39:24
Speaker 1: of that was bull. You don't give somebody the keys
39:26
Speaker 1: to the kingdom the way less Wexner gave Jeffrey Epstein
39:29
Speaker 1: the keys to the kingdom if you don't know what's
39:31
Speaker 1: going on. And not only that, but Epstein used those
39:35
Speaker 1: keys to the kingdom to further his criminal enterprise and
39:38
Speaker 1: to abuse women, all under the pretext that they're going
39:42
Speaker 1: to get a job working for Victoria's secret It's frustrating
39:46
Speaker 1: because this is all common knowledge to those of us
39:49
Speaker 1: who have been following this for all of these years,
39:51
Speaker 1: because something should have been done about this a very
39:54
Speaker 1: long time ago. After being unable to serve Wexner, prosecutors
39:59
Speaker 1: attempted to facility militate service through his attorneys, says the motion,
40:03
Speaker 1: but those efforts failed as well. According to Singer, lawyers
40:07
Speaker 1: for Wexner at the Ohio firm of Zeger, Tiggis and
40:10
Speaker 1: Little did not respond to requests for comment. I mean,
40:14
Speaker 1: why would they. They have nothing to say here. If
40:16
Speaker 1: they just keep silent and keep it moving, nothing's ever
40:20
Speaker 1: going to happen to less Wexner. Wexner told members of
40:23
Speaker 1: his foundation that Epstein agreed to step back from the
40:26
Speaker 1: management out of our personal finances in two thousand and seven,
40:30
Speaker 1: shortly after prosecutors in Palm Beach County drafted a fifty
40:34
Speaker 1: three page indictment following an investigation into claims that Epstein
40:38
Speaker 1: solicited underage girls for prostitution. That indictment was never filed
40:44
Speaker 1: in court, and Epstein ultimately agreed to plead guilty to
40:47
Speaker 1: one count of solicitation of prostitution and one count of
40:52
Speaker 1: solicitation of a minor four prostitution in two thousand and
40:56
Speaker 1: eight as part of a deal with prosecutors. Wexner wrote
41:01
Speaker 1: in a twenty nineteen letter to members of the Foundation
41:04
Speaker 1: obtained by Inside Edition Digital that after Epstein stepped down,
41:09
Speaker 1: we discovered that he had misappropriated vast sums of money
41:12
Speaker 1: from me and my family. At that time, with his
41:16
Speaker 1: credibility and our trust in him destroyed, Wexner said that
41:20
Speaker 1: he immediately severed ties with Epstein. It's very convenient that
41:24
Speaker 1: they found that money right at the time where Epstein
41:27
Speaker 1: was under the microscope. Does anybody believe that? Honestly? Do
41:31
Speaker 1: any of you believe that out there? It's all a
41:34
Speaker 1: cover story, And I don't hear anybody else even talking
41:36
Speaker 1: about that. The fact that he gave Epstein this money
41:40
Speaker 1: with the intent of saying that the money was pilfered
41:44
Speaker 1: if shit went south is a pretty standard move when
41:48
Speaker 1: you're talking about people like this. It's all about plausible deniability, right, Oh, yeah,
41:53
Speaker 1: we were friends. Oh he worked for me, but that's
41:55
Speaker 1: as far as it went. But the reality is, we
41:58
Speaker 1: know that's not the truth. Wexner is not the only
42:02
Speaker 1: one of Epstein's former associates being asked to provide documents
42:06
Speaker 1: to lawyers for the Virgin Islands. Miles and Kathy Alexander,
42:10
Speaker 1: the couple who managed Epstein's private island Little Saint James
42:14
Speaker 1: from nineteen ninety nine to two thousand and seven, have
42:17
Speaker 1: also been subpoenaed in the case and asked to sit
42:20
Speaker 1: for a deposition. According to subpoenas obtained by Inside Edition Digital,
42:25
Speaker 1: Kathy and Miles are both being asked to provide lawyers
42:29
Speaker 1: with documents communications and agreements related to your employment by
42:35
Speaker 1: Jeffrey Epstein, including but not limited to, one employment and
42:39
Speaker 1: severance agreement, two non disclosure agreements, three all payments in
42:45
Speaker 1: any form received from or on behalf of Jeffrey Epstein
42:50
Speaker 1: for all communications with Jeffrey Epstein. Gallaine Maxwell, Bella Kleine,
42:55
Speaker 1: Daphne Wallace, Harry Beller, Leslie Groff, Sarah Kelle, Sarah Kensington
43:01
Speaker 1: or Sarah Vickers all the same person by the way,
43:04
Speaker 1: Erica Keller, Hall's Richard d conn And or Darren k
43:08
Speaker 1: Endyke And that's basically the inner circle right there, and
43:12
Speaker 1: all of the people that were helping him make moves
43:14
Speaker 1: financially or otherwise Miles Alexander subpoena. Kathy said in a
43:20
Speaker 1: twenty eleven interview with Daily Mail that she had been
43:23
Speaker 1: suspicious about the ages of the girls who arrived on
43:26
Speaker 1: the island from the start. I saw some girls who
43:29
Speaker 1: I thought were very young, looking about sixteen or seventeen easily,
43:34
Speaker 1: and it bugged me because I have a daughter, and
43:37
Speaker 1: although she was in her twenties, I didn't like the
43:39
Speaker 1: idea that another woman's child was in that situation. I
43:42
Speaker 1: didn't feel comfortable about it, Kathy said in that interview. Yeah,
43:46
Speaker 1: but you kept working for him, right. You didn't do
43:48
Speaker 1: anything to stop it, did you. They looked like they
43:51
Speaker 1: had stepped out of an underwear catalog. They walked around
43:54
Speaker 1: with very few clothes on, or lounged around by the
43:57
Speaker 1: pool with nothing on. It was like that most of
44:00
Speaker 1: the time. I was concerned about their ages. A few
44:03
Speaker 1: of them looked very young, and I couldn't help but
44:05
Speaker 1: wonder if their mothers knew where they were. Now, keep
44:09
Speaker 1: this in mind, folks, when we're talking about all of
44:11
Speaker 1: the people who visited this island. This was commonplace on
44:15
Speaker 1: the island. These girls lounging around top lists, no clothes,
44:19
Speaker 1: on scantily clad and if everybody else is recognizing that
44:23
Speaker 1: these girls are very young looking, you need to tell
44:26
Speaker 1: me that none of these bozos who went to the
44:29
Speaker 1: island were hip to it. Of course they were, but
44:32
Speaker 1: guess what, they didn't care. And the only time they
44:35
Speaker 1: ever care is when they get exposed. Her husband, Miles,
44:39
Speaker 1: said in the same interview that he had actual proof
44:42
Speaker 1: of one underage girl being on the island. One was
44:45
Speaker 1: definitely underage, but she had a letter of consent from
44:48
Speaker 1: her parents and was under the guardianship of a model agency,
44:53
Speaker 1: said Miles, folks, I don't know how much more I
44:56
Speaker 1: can stress the fact that these modeling agencies are not
45:00
Speaker 1: good for your children. There is not enough gold on
45:02
Speaker 1: this planet that you could give me to leave my
45:05
Speaker 1: child in the care of any modeling agency anywhere in
45:09
Speaker 1: the world. He also said in the interview that this
45:13
Speaker 1: underage girl arrived on the island during his first day
45:16
Speaker 1: working as the manager of the Little Saint James property. Now,
45:20
Speaker 1: if that's your first day, why did you stick around?
45:23
Speaker 1: If I show up to work and there's an underage
45:26
Speaker 1: girl running around with a bunch of other scantily clad women,
45:29
Speaker 1: your boys getting on the first boat off the island
45:33
Speaker 1: and getting out of Dodge and reporting what he saw.
45:36
Speaker 1: The attorneys for the Virgin Islands are assuing JP Morgan,
45:39
Speaker 1: arguing in court papers that the bank helped fund and
45:43
Speaker 1: conceal Epstein's alleged sec trafficking ring. JP Morgan knew, including
45:48
Speaker 1: at the highest level of the bank, that Epstein was
45:51
Speaker 1: an extremely high risk client. Between two thousand and five
45:55
Speaker 1: and twenty and thirteen, there were reports that Epstein sexually
45:59
Speaker 1: abused women and girls. Reads the filing. In two thousand
46:03
Speaker 1: and eight, Epstein played guilty to sexual offenses and registered
46:07
Speaker 1: as a sex offender. Despite JP Morgan's acknowledgment that it
46:11
Speaker 1: needed to closely monitor Epstein, JP Morgan ignored numerous red
46:16
Speaker 1: flags and failed to comply with federal banking regulations until
46:20
Speaker 1: years later, after JP Morgan was no longer benefiting from
46:24
Speaker 1: Epstein's business. JP Morgan has moved to have the case dismissed.
46:29
Speaker 1: In court papers, the bank cut ties with Epstein in
46:32
Speaker 1: twenty thirteen, and we know that that failed. They weren't
46:36
Speaker 1: able to dismiss the case and the case is moving forward.
46:39
Speaker 1: But this gives you a little bit more of a
46:41
Speaker 1: look into the games that these fuckers are playing, and
46:44
Speaker 1: all the dancing around, all the avoidance. This is what's
46:48
Speaker 1: been going on for decades, and finally, at least some
46:52
Speaker 1: of them are getting called to the carpet. The question
46:54
Speaker 1: is when's it going to be time for Les Wesner
46:58
Speaker 1: to dance to the tune the prosecutors are playing. All right, folks,
47:03
Speaker 1: that's going to do it for this one. All of
47:05
Speaker 1: the information that goes with the episode can be found
47:08
Speaker 1: in the description box.
