- 1:05Hello, hello. Hello.
- 1:07What is up, everyone? It's your house Simone and I'm
- 1:11the feasts and I may see, okay? I was like what if you go
- 1:15welcome back. I was thinking it's a new year.
- 1:20I don't know if I should say happy new year, but it's a new
- 1:24year. We're in 2023, which is a
- 1:28mouthful to say and I'm ready for 2024, I'm ready.
- 1:32I know we're almost at the end of He is has it hasn't been
- 1:35good. It hasn't been good too much.
- 1:38Personally you trying to tell me that the month of my birth
- 1:41hasn't treated you. Well this you know but January's
- 1:47great because you were born May see.
- 1:49So that's the only reason why I like the month of January happy.
- 1:52Belated birthday. By the way, on the show.
- 1:54You're happy 26 in your late 20s.
- 2:01Probably exciting. You said, no any changes any
- 2:10feelings? My back hurts slightly more than
- 2:14it did last year. That's about it.
- 2:16But that could be because of my job, I was are the signs of your
- 2:18late 20s right now. Like I'm already in so much
- 2:22pain. How's it supposed to get any
- 2:24worse from here? Oh my God, this the declined and
- 2:29just this stupid panting, make it's just a Flash before your
- 2:33eyes. Sighs.
- 2:35I cannot believe I'm already in my mid-20s little I'm going to
- 2:38be in my late 20s, I don't know what's happening anymore.
- 2:42I mean, aren't we? Technically still in a pandemic?
- 2:45It's ever really gonna end. I mean, at this point it's just
- 2:49a little phase out at some point.
- 2:51I don't know. I feel like it's one of those
- 2:53things where like they're forcing us to live with, which
- 2:55is sad. Yeah, I feel like maybe I'm in
- 3:00not in the right situations where but I feel like it hasn't
- 3:02really affected my life. Much this last year because I
- 3:05don't have to wear masks at work.
- 3:08We don't really take any specific precautions for
- 3:11anything. Like I feel like it's normal
- 3:14again, but maybe I'm not going to the places where it's more
- 3:18like I was going to say. To be fair, we are in Florida.
- 3:21Where things are a bit more Open Access?
- 3:24Yeah. Relaxed.
- 3:26I mean, but we've never had any restrictions to begin with, so
- 3:30yeah. Yeah.
- 3:31I mean, I feel like I had to it was hard.
- 3:34I'd like initially when I had to stay home from work and we did
- 3:36everything on zoom and I had to wear a mask everywhere in public
- 3:39and whatnot. But I had their nothing around
- 3:42me. That enforces, it know like
- 3:44local businesses that I go to my work doesn't we don't even have
- 3:48to stay home anymore. If we like we should stay home
- 3:51if we get covid but they don't like force us to take a certain
- 3:53amount of time until I come back with a negative test anymore.
- 3:57She said you feel better you feel better?
- 3:59So interesting. I don't know if that's a good
- 4:01thing or not but I feel like that's a good thing.
- 4:06They still give us covid days, though.
- 4:07As part of like the school policy, they give us like, five
- 4:11days for covid that doesn't come out of your own personal time,
- 4:14which is good. But at the same time, it's like,
- 4:16you have to come up with all these different documentation to
- 4:18prove that you even had cooled it, right?
- 4:20But yeah. No, they don't really ask us for
- 4:22anything, like and I don't have, like, covid time off.
- 4:25I just, I knock on wood to date. Still have had covid meet ever.
- 4:30Knock on wood as well same. So I do Don't know, you know?
- 4:35Like, I know it. I feel like it has really
- 4:36affected me because I didn't have it to begin with.
- 4:38I had to go through, like, the hard times at the beginning but
- 4:42now I feel like the last year has been pretty normal.
- 4:45Yeah, my family even flew from California to see us as
- 4:50Christmas, which they haven't done in years because my cousin
- 4:52super afraid of covid. It had like she was pregnant.
- 4:56When it initially started. And she had another child, since
- 4:59it has like fizzled. I'm gonna make babies.
- 5:02Yeah, so she did. Quote since people can't see so.
- 5:06Yeah, because like sometimes were very sarcastic them.
- 5:09Like does this translate? Well through audio.
- 5:12So does it I probably should like we need like a sound or
- 5:15something wrong with the right have to find.
- 5:18I'm yeah I do I usually say quote unquote but I don't know.
- 5:21Maybe I need to start incorporating sounds or
- 5:23something great. And I still see people in public
- 5:26wearing masks, I still do to be honest me to where I go.
- 5:30Sometimes it's also kind of like one of those things where like
- 5:32if I'm feeling balmy I wear masks or like even then I also
- 5:36just think because I work in healthcare and no offense just
- 5:40seek how Healthcare is like I I'm just waiting until it's
- 5:44clear clear which again yeah as we just said don't know if
- 5:47that's ever going to happen but I just if I can I do.
- 5:52Yeah, I'd rather be safe than sorry.
- 5:53I don't really care. Why are you so proud to see my
- 5:56face? First of all, does it really
- 5:58matter that much? That's so funny because like, I
- 6:01still wear a mask at school and the kids are like This.
- 6:04We've never seen your face and I'm like, it doesn't matter.
- 6:07Just focus on the contact. Exactly what setting am I in
- 6:11right now to where you are. So hard pressed, you need to see
- 6:15my face. What is seeing my face going to
- 6:17make a difference of what I do? That's like this Tick Tock.
- 6:20I came across this girl that like was telling about her.
- 6:24I mean, still recently, especially with like everything
- 6:26being lifted working in retail and she still wears the mask
- 6:30because she feels comfortable wearing a mask.
- 6:32And she did like this one scenario where Try to help a
- 6:34customer and the woman's protect like, just acting obnoxious like
- 6:38she can't hear because the mask, which is yeah.
- 6:42I understand because like, if you're hard of hearing and
- 6:45you're used to lip liberating. Yeah, yeah.
- 6:49That's one of those things where I know when the pandemic was
- 6:51very heavy, people are coming out with those Mass, where you
- 6:53can still see, like your lips, especially for like people with
- 6:57like hearing a or disabled. So I understand that, but the
- 7:00way she was saying it was a scenario where the woman was
- 7:02just being, you know, Annoying. Yes, clock rolling hitch.
- 7:07Karen. I'm just gonna try and avoid
- 7:10saying a Karen, what overplay the word care and it's lost.
- 7:14Its meaning. So I feel bad for all the
- 7:16genuinely. Nice people named Karen, though.
- 7:20Anywhere anyway, that's just what's the male equivalent of
- 7:23that. What's their name?
- 7:25Chad? Chad, I've heard that Chad,
- 7:28makes me think of a frat guy willing muscles from steroids.
- 7:34What's the equivalent full of? Like the ones that are like
- 7:37very, you know what? Maybe I shouldn't say this.
- 7:40Never mind again. We going back to the shit.
- 7:44I say certain stuff or should I keep that private?
- 7:47What? We're not recording.
- 7:49Yeah. That's the Dilemma for this new
- 7:51chapter. This new year of the podcast,
- 7:54it's fine, it's fine. I mean, we don't have to pick a
- 7:56sacrificial name to call. People just don't be a jerk in
- 8:00public, right, or be a jerk at all, like, just mind your
- 8:03business. Father and you people just I
- 8:06think people just want to be right, like they have some like
- 8:10complex going on that. They just have to be right.
- 8:12And they can't admit that any other people can have their own
- 8:16feelings and opinions about things.
- 8:18Yeah. I don't even bother arguing with
- 8:19people like that. That's never going to change.
- 8:21That's just yeah, it's called narcissism like we're not going
- 8:25to get past that unfortunately. Yeah and that's why a lot of
- 8:28change won't happen but people are too stubborn.
- 8:34Man, I'm at when they're wrong. I had to come with compromises
- 8:38that works for everybody, right? I probably should wear a mask of
- 8:43work, only because I inhale so much dog hair, but at the same
- 8:46time, I get so hot and it gets in my mask anyway, and I was
- 8:50just like, it was very uncomfortable to wear them when
- 8:53I had to wear them in the beginning.
- 8:55So, but they've taken they've taken our like, glass Shields
- 8:59down. They've taken the stickers off
- 9:00the floor sayings to six feet apart.
- 9:02There's no, Regulation whatsoever at our store at least
- 9:06and and nobody seems to be wearing them like by choice or
- 9:09not. Yeah, like employee wise, if
- 9:11you're sick I have seen people wear masks to work when they're
- 9:14sick, but not necessarily with covid.
- 9:17Just sickness in general hell. But that's really the only
- 9:20thing. Okay, well enough of covid cuz
- 9:23we all spent like 10 minutes ago.
- 9:24But are you guys doing besides covid and this New Year of 2023.
- 9:31I'm doing okay. Recovering from my annual
- 9:35sickness of the fees gets sick the last week of the year every
- 9:40year. And then she has a lingering
- 9:42cough for like the next two months.
- 9:43But it's gotten better, so it's good.
- 9:47Yeah. Well, you may see, all right,
- 9:51I've just been, I feel like all I do is work and then come home
- 9:54and yeah sleep and like I haven't even Really done any of
- 10:02the activities. I enjoy yet which I started like
- 10:06reorganizing my room. I don't know if you can tell but
- 10:09I'm in a different position that I usually am.
- 10:11I don't think if he's has seen me since I moved, but probably,
- 10:16I don't know actually, but I tried to really create you moved
- 10:20again after you did your original move know so she's
- 10:23probably have coz I think once or twice at the house because
- 10:28yeah, at the apartment before and then we moved to the house.
- 10:30Have not seen you at the house. I've seen at the apartment.
- 10:33Yeah, but even in my room has seen me since I moved here.
- 10:40But I moved things around and I'm trying to like declutter my
- 10:43groom and an effort to declutter my life.
- 10:47So I feel like I just feel it's always a mess and I feel like
- 10:52lazy about it and like bad about it.
- 10:55So I figure if I have less stuff and it's if I can organize it
- 10:58properly, the first time I'll be able to keep it Miss to keep it
- 11:01clean and that will make me feel better and then I wont like get
- 11:04home and feel like I have a lot of shit to do because my room is
- 11:07messy. So that's my that's my like I'm
- 11:10not going to call it a New Year's resolution because I will
- 11:12fail with that. But I'm just trying to like
- 11:17declutter and then hopefully I'll feel better in general.
- 11:21I don't feel bad. I just this, it doesn't register
- 11:24to me that it's a new year yet. It's still early.
- 11:26I am I still am having trouble writing the year on paperwork
- 11:30and Stuff. Like, I don't really quantify
- 11:32like, oh it's a new year. I was supposed to feel different
- 11:35like, with birthdays and stuff. I'm with him.
- 11:36I feel any different. I was just like can time is just
- 11:39continuously going social concept.
- 11:42Anyway. Yeah, just like time.
- 11:44But shit, I really want to go back to our
- 11:59all over. And like do a count of how many
- 12:02times you've mentioned. This will get annoyed with me.
- 12:08Well, my God. I understand how people so
- 12:11listen, so times, but hey, So yeah.
- 12:16As you all heard me in the beginning.
- 12:18I'm not doing well but I'm pushing forward.
- 12:22Yeah it's just been a lot. I really need to take like not
- 12:28just like a social media break but just some type of media
- 12:31Break Even though I don't want to because I feel like I need to
- 12:33know what's going on in the world because it's stuff that
- 12:35affects us. But at the same time, it's just
- 12:38like a lot. And then, like personally, I
- 12:41told may see this, but I didn't tell you the feast We're kind of
- 12:44like in the stages of like, getting ready to put my dog.
- 12:49Bella down. So she had a vet appointment.
- 12:54Either a week or two weeks from here.
- 12:56Now like I already do is bad and I don't know if I ever said this
- 12:59on the podcast, but she's like a rescue dog.
- 13:01So we never knew like, how old she actually is, she was always
- 13:04older. But yeah, so like when she came
- 13:08back my dad was already emotional.
- 13:10The vet told him that like in one eye she's already like
- 13:13completely blind. And the other one, she still has
- 13:15a little site left. The way she's been a hat in the
- 13:20house where like she doesn't seem like where she is or where,
- 13:22she knows where she is. She Like little doggie
- 13:25Alzheimer's. So yeah.
- 13:28My dad got some medicine from the vet but I don't know.
- 13:34Like when they're I post this episode or like maybe a little
- 13:37bit later, we're probably gonna have to put her down.
- 13:39Try not to get emotional, I haven't been emotional lately,
- 13:42but I know when I was telling someone at work, I started
- 13:44crying because I've had it for 10 years now.
- 13:48It's hard. Men.
- 13:50Amazing went through this with her dogs, but it's always hard.
- 13:52Especially if you've had Them first, so young, and for so
- 13:55long. So that's also another thing
- 13:58where it's just been defeated me.
- 14:00I know once we do it. Mmm.
- 14:02And I get over like the initial of like having her God, it'll be
- 14:06fine. But right now it's just like
- 14:09we're just trying to make sure we do it before she really
- 14:12starts suffering. Now she seems fine but because I
- 14:15never want to see a dog suffer. That's what happened with my
- 14:17first dog, Alex. Like I feel like we waited too
- 14:19long to where he was like just suffering so I don't want to Go
- 14:23through that again. Hmm.
- 14:26But yeah, that's just been me. What is the typical life span of
- 14:29a dog? It depends on the breed.
- 14:31Okay, smaller dogs usually have longer lifespans than bigger,
- 14:34dogs Yorkies apparently, can live up for a long time.
- 14:39I don't know the year and I wish, I knew how old Bella is
- 14:42because like when we got her I've had it for 10 years.
- 14:47When we got her the vet said she was between the age of five and
- 14:50six or five and seven because of her teeth.
- 14:53'The so, but I still don't know how old I would technically make
- 14:56her. So as I don't know, if she was
- 14:58on the younger side, like around 5:00 or like the older side like
- 15:02seven, maybe eight. I just don't know.
- 15:05So, even if she was on the younger side of 515 so long
- 15:09time, that's for sure. Piper my or key only lived to be
- 15:1213. So and he had he had a seizure
- 15:16but like so he could have lived longer because he was healthy
- 15:19otherwise. But like I think that's pretty,
- 15:22I think that's a pretty good life.
- 15:23And if she's on the older side 15 to like, I don't think they
- 15:26really go past 18 or 19 at least most of the ones I see in this
- 15:31Lon if I see who your key on my books that's like above 30, nice
- 15:36Panic, a little bit because they're usually really hard to
- 15:38work with because they, it hurts.
- 15:40Yeah. Yeah.
- 15:41Usually have arthritis. They're very small to begin with
- 15:44your keys. Don't really like having their
- 15:46legs touched in general and their feet touched.
- 15:48So it's like I always get a little bit worried because I'm
- 15:52like they're wrong. I not To be in the best shape as
- 15:54they're gonna hate it. And it's just, it's sad, you
- 15:57know, because I'll, it's like, I have to do it.
- 15:58It's my job, and it's going to make them feel better in the
- 16:00long run, but it's difficult. So, yeah.
- 16:05So that's just pretty much where I have been lately, so, it hurts
- 16:12to look at herself. Yeah, yeah, trust me I when we
- 16:18had to put Lucy down, Lucy was I think she was around 13 or 14 as
- 16:23well. She had cancer so and it was in
- 16:26her throat and it was like slowly closing her throat.
- 16:30So we had to make that decision at some point before.
- 16:33It got too bad and I ugly cry marble longest time.
- 16:39And like, I went to work, I had to go to work the next day and I
- 16:43just cried the whole day. I was like, just don't look at
- 16:46me. She can you try to get my dogs
- 16:47from you? So don't talk to people.
- 16:49I'm gonna do my job, but I'm going to cry the whole time, so
- 16:53yeah. Am I my one manager already
- 16:55knows? Because I talk about Bella all
- 16:56the time and she always acts so I already warned her when I was
- 16:59telling her the story before I went on a break, I'm like listen
- 17:02I will probably take a day or two.
- 17:04You got your just going to have to give me like some headspace
- 17:08of like, realization probably gonna have to do some cleaning
- 17:12up her stuff. I don't know what we're gonna do
- 17:14with her stuff, like her little doggie stairs to get on the bed
- 17:17and all that, but kept like Lucy's collar and a keep going.
- 17:23Allah's caller her like favorite toy that wasn't like completely
- 17:28destroyed. And then I just took the rest of
- 17:29it to an animal shelter and donated it, but like I have, I
- 17:34can't, I still have Piper's collar around my rearview mirror
- 17:37in my car, and then Lucy didn't have a tag because she hated the
- 17:41tag. She would like, rip them off of
- 17:42her. So, I just have her call her in
- 17:44like my top of like other sentimental things from life.
- 17:50So, Yeah, this is basically a ramble episode.
- 17:55Any rants, we want to try to get out the way guys, anything on
- 17:59the world, you know. I think you guys have been
- 18:03paying attention to coin onto the world, I mean I think of
- 18:06recessions already pretty much happening so what everyone's
- 18:08talking about prices are just something.
- 18:10We already started the recession when eggs were like eight
- 18:14dollars. My gosh.
- 18:16Every time I think we are. I keep hearing that we haven't
- 18:19that we're on the Teeter, but they're trying not to, and it's
- 18:21just like, you just say, we are already.
- 18:24I feel like we've been at least it's last year.
- 18:28I feel like it really slapped me in the face when I went to
- 18:31Walmart. And like Walmart brand 12 like a
- 18:35dozen eggs was like seven. Something I'm like never the
- 18:38Walmart brain. Yes.
- 18:40And I'm like never and I double-checked the little tag to
- 18:42just to make sure I was seeing correctly and it was like,
- 18:46Walmart brand, one dozen grade A eggs, like seven something, six
- 18:50something on my this is crazy. Crazy kids playing on, my dad
- 18:54hasn't bought eggs in about a week.
- 18:55Yeah. Is that man eats eggs every day?
- 18:58And I haven't seen them in there for a while.
- 19:00Yeah. And I'm like, it's not even
- 19:01worth it. This point eggs can wait.
- 19:03What is like? That's one thing that's just so
- 19:05essential to know. It's like, what else?
- 19:09But I researched it though and I think it had more to do with
- 19:12like the chickens that were laying the eggs and stuff, had
- 19:16there was like a bird flew going on.
- 19:17So that's why they had to, you know, that's why eggs were in
- 19:21short supply, which is why the demand for it went up and all
- 19:25that. I don't know.
- 19:27Yeah, I just don't know, I don't, I don't know anymore.
- 19:31I don't know what's happening. I'm just glad that gas with down
- 19:37in my area. I don't know if it has for you
- 19:39guys but I put premium gas in my car and I could not afford that
- 19:44down. It's like 3:30 in my area 337.
- 19:49I think when I got gas yesterday.
- 19:51So depending on where you go. Because I live, I do live in a
- 19:55tourist town. So you cannot get gas speech
- 19:57that I do have to get it in town and if you Get it in town.
- 20:02It's like between two forty, two, three.
- 20:04And then you go Beach Titans immediately like 3:30 to 350.
- 20:09So I think that's how much it is here as well.
- 20:12Around like 315 320 that range five dollars a gallon at one
- 20:17point for premium gas like the regular stuff was like for
- 20:20something but that's too much. Yeah, my car doesn't get very
- 20:24good gas mileage. So I have to fill up at least
- 20:27once a week. Hmm.
- 20:29And now I live farther live like 30.
- 20:31It's some sort of ten minutes, yeah, but all of that factors
- 20:35into it really does. So do you guys have a Costco
- 20:39membership, they sell cheaper gas, the Costco.
- 20:43I was going to say, I don't think I have a Costco's near me.
- 20:45I have a Sam's Club around me which is basically a Costco's my
- 20:49dad has. Once you fill up your gas there
- 20:52though because they have cheaper gas.
- 20:54What? Like the Sands he expressly with
- 20:57stuff like that. It's just always so busy and
- 21:00like even shopping in there. Even though you get stuff in
- 21:02bulk, I feel like it's just more expensive than just buying what
- 21:05you actually need here. So it's like, am I really
- 21:09getting anything from this? I feel like like big families
- 21:13benefit from places like that. Yeah.
- 21:15But like I have a why I'm so bad especially with my social cues.
- 21:19If there's any place that's just too many people or too crowded.
- 21:23I try to avoid as much as I can see two.
- 21:26I guess manic it does and I'm not good in chaos.
- 21:30Yeah. Last year, I went to a Bucky's
- 21:33for the first time in my life, I bought had to pay an executive
- 21:38Casey. Did you know, they built one
- 21:39here? I just never been in it.
- 21:41Yeah, I know it was there, but I'm into anything because it's
- 21:43always crazy, you know, I'm not going.
- 21:47I literally almost had a panic attack by moms like it's the
- 21:50coolest place you'll ever see. Like what?
- 21:52Like, well not the coolest place.
- 21:53So it seemed like it was a gas station.
- 21:55It's a gas station because we have a gas station line here
- 21:59called busy bees. And it's my Because it's always
- 22:02super clean. The bathrooms are gorgeous.
- 22:04Like they have cool interesting, like snacks and jerky and stuff
- 22:08like that. But it's not nearly as giant as
- 22:11Bucky's is and it was like I feel like I'm a little salmon in
- 22:15a school of fish and everything is touching me and I need to get
- 22:18out of here and if the food wasn't even like like we stopped
- 22:22to get breakfast or something. I'm like this is like this is a
- 22:25gas station sick like breakfast sandwich.
- 22:28That was not worth going in there.
- 22:31The first I went to a puppy's was in Atlanta.
- 22:33Apparently, that one is the biggest one they have on the
- 22:36side or something, but it wasn't.
- 22:38I guess the time we want. It wasn't as busy Coast because
- 22:41Bucky's I think originated from Texas.
- 22:44Yeah. I think on the East Coast but it
- 22:45was it was really cool because like I've never seen a gas
- 22:48station that I can longest. And inside of it, look pretty
- 22:51interesting. But like you said there were
- 22:53just too many people like, oh my God, if there were so many
- 22:57people because I have, like, if somebody touches me in public,
- 23:00like, bump shoulders, Hers with me, I want to scream like how
- 23:04it's just like this. I'm like, this is not six feet
- 23:08apart covid Russian because that was like a year ago.
- 23:11That's when you're trying to make a beeline to the bathroom
- 23:17and you just like stopped like every five seconds.
- 23:20Oh, I like this. I like this is worse than
- 23:24Disney. I would rather walk through
- 23:26Disney right now than be in this, gas station.
- 23:28Yeah. Oh God.
- 23:29I can't tell you the last time I've been to this.
- 23:31Me either but it's I just remember it being crowded middle
- 23:36school. That's the last time I've been
- 23:38to eat, even when I lived in Orlando, going to college and I
- 23:41was closer to Disney, I did not go to Disney.
- 23:44Yeah, I went to Universal a bunch, but Dad, never really my
- 23:47thing. Like all I wanted to go, I just
- 23:50wanted to go to the Wizard World.
- 23:52Yeah, that's it. This he's really for like I feel
- 23:55like families and like people who are really into this me.
- 23:59Yeah, like really is Statistically true.
- 24:03I've met those people when I went to college because a lot of
- 24:05them especially working it. Well, going to school for like
- 24:08Hospitality a lot of them work for Disney.
- 24:10You can tell people who were really into this team.
- 24:16Yeah. I hey, they took over the world
- 24:19or they're starting to 32, or trying to.
- 24:22Yeah. The only thing that interests me
- 24:24how dizzy sometimes is all see, take talks of like the crazy
- 24:27food that people eat there. I'm like that looks really
- 24:29yummy. I'd like to try that but I don't
- 24:31want Pay $12 for it. So I'll watch you enjoy it and
- 24:35just, you know, more like 15 to 20, but okay.
- 24:39Yeah, yeah, Stickley can't afford to eat there.
- 24:42When I was growing up, it was like, you eat before we go to
- 24:45the theme park and then you eat. After we do not eat any of the
- 24:48food there and get a snack. Yeah, because why?
- 24:52She's like six bucks, right? You can have a singular pretzel
- 24:55and if they offer water cups, or if you can go up to the nice
- 24:59people, in those stands on the Outside and ice axe for a cup
- 25:02and find like waterfowl in the piano or they had Lee drinking
- 25:07fountains like in front of the bathroom sometimes.
- 25:09Yeah, and acts for like a plastic or like a paper cup.
- 25:13That's that's how you got your water pretty much.
- 25:15So it's like I'm envious of giving you tips.
- 25:17Guys were giving tips to survive theme parks, all right?
- 25:20Yeah. Looks like I'm envious because I
- 25:22could see all these influencers on Tick-Tock, go to dizzy and
- 25:24they're like what I ate at Disney today and it's like ten
- 25:27items and I'm like, are you crazy?
- 25:30You just that Like my whole life savings.
- 25:33Do they let you bring the food? Didn't know it?
- 25:36I think, Mike's never allowed you to bring outside food.
- 25:39Really don't think so. Yeah, not that.
- 25:41I'm aware of. You may have been able to bring
- 25:43like water and stuff because, like, you got the yes, but not
- 25:46like food food because I remember, I was bringing like,
- 25:51what are those called like, those snack bars, granola bars?
- 25:54Mmm, like we were able to bring those in.
- 25:58That was also a different time now.
- 26:00Disney has you like and putting your fingerprints and all that?
- 26:03Yeah, I don't know. I just if one day, I could be
- 26:07successful enough to be able to afford or one day of eating at
- 26:10Disney World, I think I've made ago because it's so expensive.
- 26:15I don't want to go out on a right.
- 26:16So I just want to like, it always looks.
- 26:18So like that. I don't know.
- 26:20It could just be the like, people who make it make it look
- 26:23really cool, but it doesn't actually taste that good, but it
- 26:25just looks so cool date. Some of the stuff.
- 26:29I don't know. I understand what you're saying.
- 26:30Yeah, maybe one day. I mean, we are on the topic of
- 26:37like theme parks and Florida and this place continues to
- 26:40disappoint me living here. I just can't make excuses
- 26:44anymore. I just try not to get too
- 26:46political but like the thing that I've been reading lately
- 26:50has been bothering me especially now that I here in Florida and
- 26:55like high schools, I guess they can't teach AP and
- 26:59African-American studies anymore.
- 27:01And there's already a thing about like the don't say gay
- 27:04Bill and like Secondary schools, I mean, I don't know.
- 27:08I just feel like we're not as Progressive as we claim to be
- 27:14and it's also one of those things were, like, I have a
- 27:17problem with like, I don't know if we'll ever really know the
- 27:21true history of this country, to be honest because I don't know
- 27:24what that's going to look like if it ever comes to light, but
- 27:27like, I feel like the Erasure of history is just getting worse
- 27:30and worse. I definitely think that like, at
- 27:38least like future Generations after us are being, I don't want
- 27:43to use the word sheltered because I don't like that word,
- 27:46but blinded from a lot of the like, realities of things
- 27:51because I distinctly, remember going as like a middle schooler
- 27:55to the Holocaust Museum and then walking us through all of it and
- 27:59having to like see all of those videos and pictures like that,
- 28:02I'm never going to forget that. I highly doubt that that would
- 28:06be a church field trip that would be approved in today's
- 28:09day. Mmm, you know what I mean?
- 28:12Like that you would be able to go witness like actual videos
- 28:15and photographs of an event that was tragic and happened and like
- 28:19learn about it. I'm sure I'm probably probably
- 28:21still teach about it, but I highly doubt that, that would be
- 28:23a field trip. That we would be allowed to go
- 28:26and like witness nowadays. Same with like, a lot of the,
- 28:31you know, like slave trade and all of that stuff, like I do.
- 28:34How much they talk about it because I distinctly remember a
- 28:37lot of the lessons about it and I'm sure that that was watered
- 28:40down and itself. I was going to say, even the
- 28:43lessons that we got it that, I'm sure it's not even just like the
- 28:46full history. I don't know what the gain is.
- 28:51Well, I do, but I don't want to say of like, the Erasure of
- 28:55things that really happened here.
- 28:57So, right. Well, they say, like, I think we
- 29:01talked about this in our, in our Avatar episode.
- 29:04It's like depending on which country is writing the history
- 29:06book, you're going to get a different story.
- 29:09So people never want to like publish Hora, bring back shows
- 29:13like yeah, yes, yes. Really feel like teach these
- 29:16kids. Okay.
- 29:18And like I don't I mean because I don't know, I don't I'm not
- 29:21around little kids so I don't know what type of shows there
- 29:23watching. But I'm like, aren't paying
- 29:25melons like that anymore? Like, I feel like as an adult,
- 29:30like, I can think back on those types of shows and even not
- 29:33Avatar, but like other show. I could think of that just
- 29:35really made you think not only like to learn as like, how to
- 29:39interact with people, but just like your own values and like,
- 29:43how we should be treating others and, just like ways to help
- 29:46others. Like, I just again, I just don't
- 29:51know what's happening. Really, I'm not really around
- 29:54children, so I don't really know what the media is like anymore.
- 29:58But I mean, from what I just commercials and what I see
- 30:02online, it's mainly, I think, Think positive things like may
- 30:06be positive in like helping people but not positive in like
- 30:10you have to see the real horrors of the world in order to like
- 30:13make change. Like I don't think people want
- 30:15their kids to see that because it's awful but it like it's
- 30:18something that like needs to be shown because like we're just
- 30:21going to repeat our mistakes. I feel like there's a way you
- 30:24can do it to where it's not like trauma by like traumatic to the
- 30:29kids. Like it can still teach them.
- 30:32But again I'll just bring up. Our because I feel like that was
- 30:35the best way of like showing horriffic stuff but not really,
- 30:39you know, like I'm not traumatized by Avatar.
- 30:42I learned stuff from, it's an equivalent in today's day.
- 30:46That is like that, though. I think it's more like positive
- 30:49and fun colors and whatever, you know, at least from what I've
- 30:54seen. But I'm not around children.
- 30:55So I think it's really more up to the parents on whether
- 30:57they're teaching their kids about these things.
- 30:59But are they let me say kids? Are we talking about like
- 31:03elementary school, or Like high school, middle school and all of
- 31:06them? Honestly, all of them, I would
- 31:09think that high schoolers are more aware of what's going on at
- 31:12that stage. But, like, I remember learning
- 31:16about a lot of things in middle school that was like, elementary
- 31:19school is like, they're not going to show you anything
- 31:21crazy. But, like, Middle School was
- 31:23like, when we started to learn about like the human body, and
- 31:26then about human history. So, I distinctly remember that
- 31:31age of my life being like, oh shit, things are getting Real.
- 31:36So I don't know because I just don't know if that's technically
- 31:39becoming a disservice for the kids now and today when they
- 31:42have to be thrown into the real harsh truth of reality.
- 31:45So I think it's a harsher change.
- 31:47Like it's better to like slowly integrate things into society
- 31:52rather than oh everything's perfect until you graduate high
- 31:55school and then you're dropped into the scary reality.
- 31:58That's why a lot of like college age, kids dystopian, almost
- 32:02develop, like mental health, issues and anxiety.
- 32:05T. Yeah, you know what?
- 32:06It's giving me. It's giving me.
- 32:08I don't know if you ever read this book may see.
- 32:10And I don't remember a lot of it, but I do remember, bits and
- 32:12pieces. Giving me the giver.
- 32:14Oh yeah, I love like a. Yes, that's what I feel like
- 32:18we're running towards. And if he could remember
- 32:21anything about the main character where you actually
- 32:23learned about like differences and like, starting I know they
- 32:27made a movie about it. I think that movie was awful,
- 32:29but just like the book itself, that's where I can say, is
- 32:32heading towards more than just like, no, like Hunger Games or
- 32:35like The Maze Runner. Anything like that.
- 32:37Like, realistically, they going to start taking away our color.
- 32:40Now are we all going to be what everyone wants to say when they
- 32:43don't say they don't see race color blind so we can all.
- 32:47I don't know, I just don't know enough people that would like
- 32:52freaked out and oppose that like I feel like the world's kind of
- 32:57divided on whether like that parenting Styles and like
- 33:01government Styles, it's like we want it to be out in the open.
- 33:04We want to teach Each it this way.
- 33:06And then, there's the other people that like don't want it.
- 33:08So, I think that there's enough that it would never actually
- 33:12happen like that, but whether it's happening, subconsciously,
- 33:17could be happening as well, but I don't know, I would hope that
- 33:20there would be enough people out there that wouldn't let that
- 33:22happen it. I guess it also goes to thing
- 33:24like we were talking about narcissism, like, the level of
- 33:28people caring because there's some people out there.
- 33:31Sometimes I'm guilty of is like if you're it's not affecting
- 33:34you, why should I care? Really.
- 33:37So I also think that mindset is starting to becoming a
- 33:41disservice, which I understand again, we can't take that much
- 33:46information knowing personally because it can become too much.
- 33:50But I just need to talk these out sometimes because I'm like,
- 33:53that's this is where my mind boggles along.
- 33:56So, right and I think you just, it's all about balance, you
- 34:00know, it's like, how can I live my life effectively without
- 34:03ruining my own self-preservation?
- 34:05Ation at the same time helping others.
- 34:08So it's like finding that balance of like, okay, I can
- 34:12help this much today but then I need to take some for myself too
- 34:15so that I don't burn out but how you find that balance is the
- 34:20tricky part and like what can I do with the resources that are
- 34:25given to me in order to help the most effectively?
- 34:28Like I don't, I don't know, you know, Like what can I personally
- 34:33do to help the situation except for like trying to educate those
- 34:37around me? The best of my ability but I
- 34:40don't know everything. That's true.
- 34:44I also feel like I guess learning to be more, I guess,
- 34:49willing to listen to people that when they are trying to educate
- 34:52you on certain stuff, because I know there's a lot of people
- 34:54were like, that's where my thing where it gets annoying with
- 34:57like, certain people were like, I can excuse, like, some
- 35:00ignorance on certain things because I don't know everything,
- 35:03but I don't excuse, like, willful ignorance with a lot of
- 35:07people. I feel like I've said this
- 35:09before, when I talked about like entertainment, we're like you're
- 35:12ignorant, something someone try to in the nicest way possible.
- 35:16Possible. Either tell you or like, try to
- 35:19teach you why this is wrong. Then you continue to do or say
- 35:24that same thing when you know it's wrong.
- 35:27So is also that Tricky word world we live in guys, tricky
- 35:34world. Yeah it's also unfortunate like
- 35:38in some situations it's like you can't even speak out because you
- 35:41need to be safe to. Yeah, like I know that that is
- 35:45that is preached a lot. Like if you're in this situation
- 35:48and you are the affected party like Only speak out if it's safe
- 35:53for you to do so you know until you can get to a place that
- 35:58you're away from it and now it's safe, which is horrible.
- 36:01But returning into the giver. Yeah.
- 36:07Well it's like it's such a shame because like, I mean, some are
- 36:11talking, we're going to go see stray kids in March and arm.
- 36:14Like biggest concern is like the distance that we're going to
- 36:17have to walk from place to place because we're two women alone
- 36:21like That's our main concern for travel.
- 36:23What do you mean walk from place to place?
- 36:25Like our hotel, to the subway station and the subway station
- 36:30to the arena. Like we're mapping out all of
- 36:33the locations that we might have to walk to, because we're
- 36:37planning on both flying there. So we won't have a car but
- 36:41that's like our main concern of our travel like and the subway
- 36:45is like walking distance. Well, that's what we're trying
- 36:48to figure out what the hotel we stay in the we're also too.
- 36:51Like Macy said women and cities that we don't live in.
- 36:56I haven't been there since I was ten and I was with my parents.
- 37:01So that's different between me being there as a child to now,
- 37:03as a grown adult woman, trying to make sure we're both safe.
- 37:07Again, Elena is a very big city and the way things are going in
- 37:12our economy, a lot of crime is just going up.
- 37:16So and it just make sure we stay in a safe Hotel.
- 37:20Yeah, there's been more turns about like, oh, not like this
- 37:23hotel. Seems cool.
- 37:24This is around things that I want to do.
- 37:26It's affordable whatever, like those are a secondary concerns
- 37:29to is it going to be scary? Can I walk safely in this place?
- 37:33I didn't even want to bring my car because car theft is so
- 37:37prevalent. There like, that's my main
- 37:39reason for not wanting to drive there is because I don't want my
- 37:42car to be stolen or broken into because it's so prevalent right
- 37:45now. So it's like, how do you and not
- 37:48trying to stereotype Atlanta? That could be for any City that?
- 37:51You go to that, you're out of, we're like I said, just the way
- 37:54our economy is going right now. No matter where you are, is this
- 37:58a lot of things because people are like, just getting in their
- 38:01desperate stage because we're just tired, can't afford a lot
- 38:06of stuff, you know, this one that nature.
- 38:10So, It's getting rough out here. It's just kind of sad.
- 38:15It's like I would rather be planning all those places I want
- 38:18to go versus? Can I go to them safely?
- 38:23I mean we navigated New York. I felt perfectly safe there.
- 38:26Maybe that was my own ignorance but it can involve.
- 38:30Then again may see we were in a different time that was
- 38:32pre-pandemic. It was and I feel like we knew
- 38:35somebody there who could yeah does and it was pretty well lit.
- 38:40We didn't go anywhere. That was like super sketchy and
- 38:44like I told her the other day I'm like they were New York is a
- 38:48city that's alive at all hours of the day.
- 38:51And so even though we Walking at like 11:00 a.m. on point.
- 38:55There were plenty of lights and music 11 p.m. and 11:00.
- 38:59Yeah, well, it was, I don't remember all you said 11:00 a.m.
- 39:03and it's broad daylight and 11 a.m. so it'd have to be 11 p.m.
- 39:06pm to like. And there were like, plenty of
- 39:12police officers around which like doesn't always mean good
- 39:15thing. But especially because like to
- 39:17give sense. So, to give them the benefit of
- 39:19the doubt until proven Wrong, but I felt safe there, you know,
- 39:25like the scariest thing we encountered was a raccoon, the
- 39:27size of a small child. So like, you know, but things
- 39:32have changed. So and I think, one time we were
- 39:35in the subway and, like, two people almost got into fight,
- 39:37but that's fine too. Remember that?
- 39:40But that just might be my, like, vacation brain, blocking out
- 39:43anything that I don't want to remember that.
- 39:47I think so, because I remember that we were walking all day.
- 39:51We are tired and we got to see this.
- 39:52Subway and like these two guys, I don't remember if one of them
- 39:56was homeless or not, but like they were about to have a
- 40:00screaming match. So I was like, get me off the
- 40:03subway, I don't remember that. I do remember asking, like I
- 40:10there was like a homeless guy sitting and we were like
- 40:12confused about where we were going and we walked back and
- 40:15forth, a couple of times and he like offered to help us and at
- 40:18first I was like, sketched out because I was worried that he
- 40:20was gonna say something or looking for something and he was
- 40:24just very pleasant and like helped us find our way and it
- 40:26was not a big deal at all, but so I remember that I am like I
- 40:31shouldn't have judged him because he was very helpful and
- 40:33kind. But that was just my point is
- 40:36that it's scary scarier than it used to be.
- 40:40Like I wasn't and I was younger then, but I feel like I was
- 40:43still aware of my surroundings. Yeah, like determine whether I
- 40:47was in danger or not. That's just where we're at.
- 40:49Hopefully we'll figure it out because it's coming up soon.
- 40:51So, Yeah, I mean I'm sure it'll be fine.
- 40:55I'm sure it'll work itself out, but you'll didn't think of like,
- 40:58Uber or Lyft or anything like that.
- 41:00See, but like that's sketchy as well.
- 41:02That's just as worse, exactly. You hear so many stories of
- 41:07like, especially women, who will I get it?
- 41:09He's um, lubbers and lifts and like, they will take them places
- 41:13or try to take them places. That's not in the destination to
- 41:16try to kidnap them too many things, just too many things or
- 41:20like they'll lift up your Ian from The Uber or Lyft app
- 41:25because your third renting the thing and then like maybe stocky
- 41:28or just there's that's just not safe anymore.
- 41:31I'd rather take a trade or a bus if I can.
- 41:35Yeah, I'd rather rely on public transportation.
- 41:38That is like established rather than an individual.
- 41:40That's allowed to sign up through an app for free.
- 41:42As long as you don't have any major driving concerns on your
- 41:45record, like they don't background check those people,
- 41:48do they not even like criminal background?
- 41:50I don't think so. I think it's just like, if you
- 41:52don't have any like Like, major driving things on your record.
- 41:56I don't know if like, maybe maybe.
- 41:58It's like, you can't be a felon either, but I'm pretty sure.
- 42:01I'm pretty sure anybody can do the deliveries like the ubereats
- 42:05and the doordash and whatnot. I'm pretty sure you anybody can
- 42:07do that, but they're still coming to your home.
- 42:10Like you're giving them your, their, your address and allowing
- 42:14them to come on your property to play something on your property.
- 42:18And I don't think that there's any regulation to that.
- 42:21So, I don't know, I could be wrong, but I'm pretty sure
- 42:25anybody can do it. 23 guys, it's not like a bus driver who had to
- 42:32go through an interview and had to go through a backtrack
- 42:35background. Check, and now works on a bus
- 42:37line. You know, like, I feel much
- 42:39safer with that person that a rando that signed up on over,
- 42:42what about like a taxi then or is that too expensive?
- 42:47That's expensive and they don't like to be stopping for anybody.
- 42:51Yeah, I think I would rather just rely on timed public
- 42:55transportation. Like, I know that this bus or
- 42:57train is going to be here at this time and I can get on it
- 42:59and I can pay. I think I paid like $30 when we
- 43:04were in New York for a Subway card and that lasted me like the
- 43:07whole time. So as far as I'm aware Marta,
- 43:11the subway in Atlanta is decent. So, we should be Be able to get
- 43:17where we need to go using that and then it, maybe the
- 43:19occasional bus. Hmm.
- 43:21So, depending on where we're going, which I'm nervous about
- 43:25because since I live in such a car heavy City, I've never taken
- 43:28a bus before so, either. So we're about to find out, did
- 43:34you guys consider consider renting a car?
- 43:36Maybe so explore because it is a car theft thing?
- 43:38You don't want to do that? No, it's just too expensive
- 43:41again. We try not to spend as much
- 43:45money as we can. We are therefore really one
- 43:48thing that's already paid for is just everything else.
- 43:51Yeah, not to mention. We already have to.
- 43:54Once we're there figure out food.
- 43:55Like I know the struggle with us.
- 43:57Try to find a hotel. I'm trying to find a hotel that
- 43:59lease has free breakfast. I can knock off one cent evolve
- 44:03like food situation. So even if it's just some
- 44:06bagels, Yeah. Just to put something in my
- 44:09system. Yeah I'm sure it'll be okay or
- 44:13not going to be there for too many days.
- 44:14Anyway. No, not like we originally
- 44:16planned. It's just we just can't afford
- 44:18it. We can't.
- 44:19Yeah. We can't afford a full vacation
- 44:21like that time together but I just can't afford the nights and
- 44:26not with the rates that are at currently.
- 44:29So I don't know if that's because of the concert or it's
- 44:31just I always like that. I mean I think We just stayed
- 44:39for a week, not even a week like three or three or four nights
- 44:44and ever bow and the villages to for Christmas which is like a
- 44:49giant housing community. So we State we got got house so
- 44:52it's a whole house to ourselves and then the three of us Customs
- 44:55like a thousand dollars for like.
- 44:57Alright. Wow.
- 44:58So I think it's just I think it's just freaking expensive
- 45:01right now that you can't go anywhere inflation.
- 45:07That's awesome. It's like a once-in-a-lifetime
- 45:10trip that to see family members. I haven't seen in years so it
- 45:14was worth it. But at the same time it's like
- 45:16we didn't we just slept there, you know.
- 45:19So, yeah. Well, you could do made like one
- 45:23meal in the kitchen and then, of course we had Mavis.
- 45:28So it's like, dog friendly. But I don't know why.
- 45:32I'm sure you guys will figure out like a best possible route.
- 45:37For your event. Yeah, it's just things that I
- 45:45didn't think. I would have to think about are
- 45:47now very much a reality. So it's also one of those things
- 45:52where it's like, dang, I wish we did this in advance, but at the
- 45:54same time it's fine. Yeah.
- 45:57Yeah. Over a month because it's at
- 45:59the, it's March 23rd. Tomorrow will be two months.
- 46:03Yeah. I got it.
- 46:06It's got it - it's gonna be okay.
- 46:10If we put it into the universe that it's going to be.
- 46:12Okay. It'll be okay.
- 46:13It'll be fun. Memorable experience.
- 46:17Yes, yes. And I've been to a concert since
- 46:20the up. Well, that's not true.
- 46:21We went to see a bigger concert since the world ended.
- 46:31I can't say much because I saw BTS in LA. 20:21.
- 46:36So, Man, I miss that God said so but I hoped it is doing good in
- 46:43his military service. He posted the picture the other
- 46:46day. I hope one of those also doing
- 46:49good in his military service was the only two people.
- 46:52I follow that. I know that are enlisted right
- 46:55now. Yeah, I saw this morning on take
- 46:58chocolate Jin, is the commander of his unit.
- 47:01Oh, really? I don't know what that means,
- 47:03but that's good. Like, you know, when they stand
- 47:10in the line and somebody calls out the orders and what that
- 47:12like he was doing that, okay? I don't know how I feel about
- 47:16that because I'm like is it this technically like not private
- 47:20time but how do you have this footage right?
- 47:26Yeah I do y'all believe these this is my God I'm gonna go out
- 47:31another red. I don't know if it was some
- 47:34public event that I it if we could sense.
- 47:37One thing even though Again not sus, but like all the stories of
- 47:43like, even if their public events of them, like selling it
- 47:47to the media, like the other day, armies had to basically
- 47:50cuts out a monk because namjoo went to a temple where he
- 47:53usually goes to sometimes to like just talk and like probably
- 47:57pray. I'm not really sure.
- 47:58I don't know if he's religious or not I can't remember and the
- 48:01monk went and sold and basically told the media what he said and
- 48:05I'm like is it this a private conversation?
- 48:08Sensation. Yeah.
- 48:11Unfortunately their lives will probably never be private
- 48:14because there's such sense to me.
- 48:19They keep talking about how they would like to be treated as
- 48:22human first before their work. So Joe is already hard enough
- 48:28for them to like, trust people and then j-hope and jimin or in
- 48:34Paris for fashion week because they just got picked up to be
- 48:37like Brandon. Today's, I don't know about
- 48:39fashion, guys, I'm sorry. I'm not a fashion girly, but
- 48:42it's still great for them. But then like, I had to see a
- 48:44video of gym and getting bombarded at the airport.
- 48:48I'm like I thought we said so many times stop doing this.
- 48:52He clearly did not look happy. Yeah I wouldn't have been
- 48:55surprised if he punched someone in the face I would have punched
- 48:59someone in the face. Do what Bad Bunny and take their
- 49:03phones and throw it across the whatever even though you got
- 49:07backlash, Or that. But I'm just like, bro, you
- 49:11think he's gonna be happy with you, shoving a phone in his
- 49:14face. I was on bad bunnies side on
- 49:18that because he kept Li literally kept telling the girls
- 49:20stop. Yeah, he's just trying to walk
- 49:22to his car. This is why I said I can never
- 49:24be a celebrity. Definitely takes like a certain
- 49:28type of personality to be okay with all of that.
- 49:32Yeah. Or just having a really hard
- 49:34strong love what you do. Yeah.
- 49:38Or also just like in the attention of some people just
- 49:40like that attention, it just depends.
- 49:42I feel like, but I feel like like influencers who aren't
- 49:46really who are like popular but like are not that popular.
- 49:49Are the wasn't okay with that. But like, celebrities
- 49:51celebrities if you noticed they're really the ones who if
- 49:55they can do their work. I feel like without the invasion
- 49:58of privacy they would choose that.
- 50:00Yeah. I mean like without the fame?
- 50:04Yeah. So I noticed like with a lot of
- 50:05stories, like a lot of celebrities are Introverted just
- 50:08because they just don't want that.
- 50:11Yeah. Or even before they got in the
- 50:13work, like they're more introverted than we think.
- 50:16Yeah. But it's kind of like a catch-22
- 50:18though because like, yeah, I understand they wanted to have
- 50:21like their privacy and everything but if you stay out
- 50:23of the picture for too long, like you become irrelevant
- 50:26especially in today's time. Yeah.
- 50:28So it's like what do you do you say out for like 1 month and
- 50:32everyone forget to you. Exactly.
- 50:34So like you kind of have to go against like that part of your
- 50:37Personality, just to continue what you were originally doing
- 50:41as work and everything. Yeah.
- 50:44But still, I think sometimes people forget like, no matter
- 50:48what, these are still technically their jobs.
- 50:51Yeah. Look, how would you feel if
- 50:52you're just working your everyday, like nine to five and
- 50:56you had to deal with this extra stuff on top of your job
- 50:59already? Mmm.
- 51:00I don't know. I can't relate on that level.
- 51:02But yeah, also an entertainment still on the heavy side.
- 51:11Is just, I mean, I guess real quick before we go and maybe
- 51:14talk about some lighter stuff before we actually, how do you
- 51:17guys feel about? Like all these streaming
- 51:18services basically, like with all the cancellations that's
- 51:21been happening since like the last of like last what quarter
- 51:25of last year. Yeah, it's insane.
- 51:28I heard Netflix got rid of so many and so many shows, but
- 51:32like, even once I were doing really, really well too.
- 51:34Yes, like, there's this one animation that I saw and that's
- 51:37another thing too. I feel a lot of them are coming
- 51:39for animation, which I do not appreciate Because the animation
- 51:41is not just for children. Yeah, I really need these
- 51:44Boomers to get them out of their head, especially if you are an
- 51:47adult that makes a nationwide. But there's this one show that I
- 51:52like called inside job, but they already got renewed.
- 51:56And then all of a sudden, it got canceled, Or like there's this
- 52:00one show on HBO Max, where I think they were pretty much
- 52:04finished with this new season, they're going to come out and
- 52:07they got canceled. And that's another thing too,
- 52:09which I guess is shows. That's why I said, we're not
- 52:12really in a recession yet because a lot of people I've
- 52:15been seeing say that I try to keep up when it comes to
- 52:17entertainment. You know, a recession is coming
- 52:20when entertainment hit the first.
- 52:22Like, that's when you can kind of tell things are your bad
- 52:26money-wise because you're getting rid of all these things
- 52:28to try to. Cut cost.
- 52:33Y'all. I'm so sorry.
- 52:35I lost where I was going with this train of thought, cancelled
- 52:38shows what we thought about it. I have something else to say
- 52:43though. I just forgot.
- 52:44Wow. Just tell me your opinions on
- 52:49what you think about the case which shows and hopefully it'll
- 52:51come back to me this. Um, it's just that basically.
- 52:57Oh, I was going to break up apparently because of the
- 52:59recession. I remembered now.
- 53:02Sorry, there might be an upcoming writer strike that's
- 53:05happened. That's why makes sense.
- 53:08Actually, I guess spin in the plan for a while because that's
- 53:11another thing. Besides all the other jobs
- 53:14they're just tired of not getting paid which also Always
- 53:17astounds me when it comes to entertainment have like actors
- 53:21and like, people like them are paid like, millions of dollars,
- 53:26but like, the people who actually, like, right this
- 53:28shows, or like, do the camera work for the shows or edited are
- 53:33not paid the same amount. It's me crazy.
- 53:37Maybe that's just crazy to me because someone who wanted to
- 53:39get in the entertainment industry and work behind the
- 53:42scenes that's like, especially right ache.
- 53:46You can't be an actor. If you Material to work on.
- 53:49Yeah. The writing is the show or the
- 53:51writers don't get royalties or anything like that either.
- 53:55It depends on the contracts but still they're just especially
- 53:59like with TV. If you have multiple writers,
- 54:04they don't get paid enough but the actors do yes they get
- 54:07royalty. Well, that's another thing too,
- 54:11with this whole streaming thing that a lot of people in the
- 54:13industry has been talking about because you don't get as many
- 54:16like royalties or I forget the other word for a syndication
- 54:20like cable, because as we've been seeing with everything
- 54:24being canceled, they have the ability to delete the projects
- 54:28off the streaming shows. So if no one's watching them,
- 54:31you can't get paid for them because it's basically
- 54:33non-existent anymore and they don't make like, DVDs anymore.
- 54:37Like they used to so they can't even get like, Tation funds from
- 54:40that. I remember when DVDs were such a
- 54:43big thing. Like, I go to my friend's house
- 54:46and they'd have like a whole book case, which is DVDs and
- 54:50Beast VHS, but that's, that's the ancient now.
- 54:55I know, because it's the same with music.
- 54:56Yeah. Like I don't think people
- 54:58realize artist for music, gets it's different from every
- 55:03platform, but I think even now with Spotify, I probably went up
- 55:08since I've last look This, but they get zero point zero, zero,
- 55:13zero, zero, zero 10 for everyone stream, so you would need quite
- 55:20a bit of people to even make a dollar.
- 55:22Yes, especially if you're like an independent artist with like
- 55:26no company or label behind you. It only imagine I don't know
- 55:31again, like I keep saying the world is just burning because
- 55:34the world is going. Yes, going downhill, but I was
- 55:38just wondering because like, I'm afraid, not really afraid
- 55:41because I feel like it'll bounce back once I guess if the economy
- 55:46gets better. But like, I don't want my source
- 55:48of entertainment to just come from Tick Tock.
- 55:50I'm sorry. Like I like to talk now, I use
- 55:53it now but, like, even I could tell sometimes when I use a
- 55:56tick, tock, if I am scrolling, and I can't finish one video.
- 56:00That's where my Okay. I need to get off this app.
- 56:01Yeah. So I like movies.
- 56:07I like storytelling. I like TV shows, keep them.
- 56:11I wonder also. If like, we're going to get
- 56:12another rise of reality TV because apparently that's where
- 56:15reality TV was born from was the first writer struck bike and the
- 56:19early 2000s. So if no one knew that, yeah,
- 56:23that's why we technically have reality shows today because
- 56:26there are a lot cheaper to make. You didn't really need as many
- 56:29writers to like write. Like production wise.
- 56:33So Just, I don't know, I just don't know.
- 56:38I'm a little scared. For the world of entertainment.
- 56:44Again, especially from a person who has not really watched a lot
- 56:47of American entertainment for a while, but even like with my
- 56:51kdramas, I noticing, now they're doing the thing words more than
- 56:54one season. I was like, this is why I
- 56:56switched, because we're what a dud.
- 56:59I don't need two to three seasons.
- 57:03Yeah, I don't even know if this is helping you guys, as far as
- 57:05money wise either or what, I don't know how their
- 57:09entertainment as far as Like business-wise goes over there.
- 57:14So I'm sure I would assume that the recession is like
- 57:21country-based. Not like or I don't know how far
- 57:24it expands like is it just kept happening to us that our
- 57:28economy? I don't think so.
- 57:30I mean I would prefer a while South Korea's economy.
- 57:33Especially kind of like us. We're like a lot of things are
- 57:35rising and prices people like us.
- 57:38Our age can't really afford to like Do anything basically.
- 57:42So and I don't know anywhere else around the world.
- 57:45I mean I have been seeing a couple things with like
- 57:47protested like year up and stuff like that.
- 57:50So I don't think it's going good for anybody in the world.
- 57:52I think we're all kind of just and it together.
- 57:57Yeah, all suffering together. Well, I don't know, I really
- 58:02hope they come up with some solution where the writers feel
- 58:06like their efforts are like being paid off enough.
- 58:10And that we don't go through another writer strike because
- 58:12that would be awful. Well, I think it's happening.
- 58:15It's just when there's one girl, I follow on Tick.
- 58:18Tock, who's pretty up today. She said, sometime in May, maybe
- 58:22in my happen, but it's interesting something else
- 58:26doesn't take its place. But knowing knowing our place
- 58:31something is always going on. I feel like I've been to do it,
- 58:37the one doing most of the ranting this episode, usually a
- 58:39collective. I think, unfortunately like I
- 58:47find that when I ran, I just feel gross after all.
- 58:51So I like to do it just to get it.
- 58:53Yeah, I don't know. It's like I can't do anything
- 58:57about it. So it's like if I get to in my
- 59:00feelings about it, I'll just think about it for too long and
- 59:03then like me. But actually, I'm just want to
- 59:07die. Yeah, no, I mean, it's everybody
- 59:11coax differently, but I find that I try to look for the
- 59:15positive things, but I'm trying to be positive and if I rant
- 59:19about things that I can't change, I just get more sad.
- 59:23I don't know. I was just agreeing with you the
- 59:24whole time though. No, thank you.
- 59:30I didn't really realize that that was happening because I
- 59:32don't watch very many shows on Netflix are.
- 59:35I haven't been recently. Yeah, I mean, it's not just
- 59:38Netflix, I'm sure it's a lot of things because that's why a lot
- 59:41of the deletion was happening. And like, HBO backs because of
- 59:45the merger that they had with Discovery.
- 59:49That's another, that's another thing companies.
- 59:51Merging Max subscription. So This a lot but that's just
- 59:57some things. Anything positive we want to
- 1:00:00talk about entertainment. What have you guys been
- 1:00:01watching? That's been good.
- 1:00:03The glory and I could not wait for you to come out.
- 1:00:08I believe it's in February. Oh yeah, so excited for that.
- 1:00:11Show. Be interesting.
- 1:00:13I also watched The Glory we were telling Macy because she said
- 1:00:16she's interested in watching it that first episode is brutal
- 1:00:22hard. Oh my gosh because of the bully.
- 1:00:23Yes. And like I remember even other
- 1:00:25cager I used to watch. I was like, this has to be
- 1:00:29dramatized, this can't be that bad.
- 1:00:31This can't be that bad, but apparently it's that bad.
- 1:00:35I think that was like one of them.
- 1:00:37The drama's in a very, very long time that I like held my breath.
- 1:00:41While watching though, seeing yeah, I follow a guy on
- 1:00:44Instagram and remember someone acts of and he's like they're
- 1:00:48telling it lightly, it's worse. I'd like.
- 1:00:50What do you mean? It's worse.
- 1:00:52So forth are so, you know, it makes sense.
- 1:00:56It's that like whenever like a celebrity or something is like
- 1:00:59accused of a bullying scandal. It's such a big deal.
- 1:01:02I stopped talking. That's why I'm like yeah, well I
- 1:01:05can't say anything anymore because I mean we have blue egg
- 1:01:08here but I feel like also because of our laws they get
- 1:01:11their able to get like punished for it or they don't really have
- 1:01:17harsh punishments, especially for minors.
- 1:01:19I know there's a show on Netflix.
- 1:01:20I need to go back and watch that talks about it more and maybe we
- 1:01:24could do a review on that because even Something and this
- 1:01:27isn't spoiling. Anything may see, but in the
- 1:01:29glory I don't know if you notice may see that one mother or not,
- 1:01:33may see the feasts. I'm so sorry.
- 1:01:37Um, the one mother that's getting abused by her husband
- 1:01:40and then the girl comes in the daughter that tries to stop and
- 1:01:43she's holding a knife and then like they're going back and
- 1:01:45forth like do it and our moms like no don't do it.
- 1:01:48But the daughter said something, I don't know if he picked up
- 1:01:50she's like it's fine if I hurt him or even kill him because I'm
- 1:01:54a minor. So I will be okay.
- 1:01:56Okay. So that just kind of shows.
- 1:02:00Yeah, the difference. Yeah and then the guy I follow
- 1:02:02on Instagram. Gave an example of how he knew
- 1:02:04like two girls in his school. I don't know like if his
- 1:02:07Elementary or like Middle School, that got expelled
- 1:02:10because they put lead from a pencil and some girls I I'm like
- 1:02:14y'all just got expelled for that blind.
- 1:02:19The girl, my God I keep up quite I think I keep up quite good
- 1:02:26with it in the True Crime sub-genre.
- 1:02:31And recently there was a librarian that was killed by for
- 1:02:39teenagers. They like Grim with a nod and
- 1:02:44they are all being charged as adults for attempted murder
- 1:02:49murder. Her and Battery.
- 1:02:50Yeah, because I knew what they were doing clearly.
- 1:02:52Yeah. Like they was some kind of like,
- 1:02:56one of them was like, the ex-girlfriend of the Librarians
- 1:03:00son. And so, she was like, egging her
- 1:03:03new boyfriend to go beat him up and so they went to his house
- 1:03:06and beat him up and she had like, run out to the store for a
- 1:03:09minute and then came back and like caught them in the act.
- 1:03:11And I was like trying to take a picture of their license plate
- 1:03:14and they just like ran over my God.
- 1:03:17So yeah. Yeah.
- 1:03:19So but they're all do they not realize it was like 14 years,
- 1:03:24there's cameras everywhere there's cameras everywhere even
- 1:03:27if you run her over someone's gonna catch you.
- 1:03:30Some guy saw it and followed them until the police made
- 1:03:33contact. So they were caught right away
- 1:03:35like oh my gosh are just too just an example of like a
- 1:03:41they're all under 18 and they are being charged as adults even
- 1:03:45like I think there was like a 14 or 15 year old one but that's
- 1:03:48what I mean like Here like something that traumatic they
- 1:03:50could charge like that to where it doesn't seem like the case
- 1:03:54even if she hadn't passed away. But it's they're being charged
- 1:03:57with felony murder because she did pass away.
- 1:04:01That's crazy. That is crazy.
- 1:04:04The poor boy though. Like yeah, he like didn't even
- 1:04:08do anything. Like he just broke up with
- 1:04:10somebody. He didn't know they were coming
- 1:04:12to like challenge him or whatever.
- 1:04:13This is why you need to be careful.
- 1:04:15Like need to know what you're dating.
- 1:04:18A Jew. You're dating what your day.
- 1:04:19Eating. Yeah and I don't I I think there
- 1:04:21were some talk about like some text exchange but I don't care
- 1:04:24what anybody says to you via text.
- 1:04:27You don't go to their house, beat them up and kill their mom
- 1:04:31like serious. Yeah.
- 1:04:33Like I don't know where I'm at today.
- 1:04:36Yeah, especially the youth. Mmm, so, and shame on that girl
- 1:04:42for, like, riling him up like it, she was the instigator she
- 1:04:47didn't participate in Like the actual assault except for being
- 1:04:51in the van when it happened. But she wouldn't have happened
- 1:04:55if he should get as much of a punishment, she should get it
- 1:04:59helped me out my opinion. You cannot put people up to shit
- 1:05:03like that because P humans are emotional.
- 1:05:05You know, like you can get you can manipulate people into doing
- 1:05:08things, just with your words, they're just as harmful as
- 1:05:13actions true. Especially if the boyfriend
- 1:05:16genuinely. Thought that he was like I don't
- 1:05:19know what the text was about it or anything.
- 1:05:21Yeah, I don't know if she told him that she was like bothering
- 1:05:24her or something. But well, I'm kind of that's
- 1:05:28gonna make me upset. I was like.
- 1:05:29Wow, yeah. And she was a great member of
- 1:05:36her community like wonderful lady.
- 1:05:39Truly good person and like Winston is the good ones.
- 1:05:42It's always the good ones. A librarian.
- 1:05:46Like they're probably the most peaceful people out there for
- 1:05:50hate. I don't know about peaceful, but
- 1:05:53just the most quiet quiet, but but, I mean like, they're not in
- 1:05:56anyone's way is what I mean. Yeah, you have to be outgoing to
- 1:06:01a certain extent because I wanted to be a librarian for a
- 1:06:03while but they're like the directors of the library.
- 1:06:08So you have to be outgoing to a certain extent in order to like
- 1:06:11communicate with your entire group of people and Planning and
- 1:06:16stuff like that. Yeah, so they're important to
- 1:06:21our community. They provide knowledge and
- 1:06:23education so one them correctly. Yeah.
- 1:06:27They don't get paid nearly enough.
- 1:06:29That's also just the theme of this whole thing.
- 1:06:30No one gets paid enough to help that family find closure.
- 1:06:35Yeah, I hope that they get. What is appropriate?
- 1:06:40Yeah, yeah, I mean anything besides that tangent, anything
- 1:06:44else Watching besides the bori where I've been watching.
- 1:06:49Bluelock is pretty good. It's an anime about soccer.
- 1:06:53Okay, interesting. I like my Sports Anime.
- 1:06:58Yeah, yes I have been. I recently started collecting
- 1:07:02the haikyuu volumes of manga so that I can read it and have it
- 1:07:06in person since it's the one of my favorites.
- 1:07:08I want to own physical copies of the hair.
- 1:07:13So I feel like I've been reading more than watching things.
- 1:07:16Like I have been reading a lot of like webtoons and stuff like
- 1:07:21that. I'm gonna catch up on my
- 1:07:23webtoons. Have you ever read that one?
- 1:07:25I recommended you may see is think it's called a lek Elysee
- 1:07:29to something ELC. Edu will not the cat think.
- 1:07:33So, yeah, I started it. You would like that one.
- 1:07:36May see I just read the remarried empress It's on
- 1:07:43webtoon. It's I think it's got two
- 1:07:46seasons out and they're taking a Hiatus.
- 1:07:49I usually read a lot of one's kind of, like, my shows I watch
- 1:07:52or if it's like, Supernatural some romance but it just depends
- 1:07:56on what type mostly Supernatural.
- 1:08:00I feel like overly romantic. It's more about like I think
- 1:08:05it's it's more of like a Revenge story but like not like super,
- 1:08:11like down and dirty or anything, it's just Yes.
- 1:08:15I don't know, I don't want to, I don't want to go into the whole
- 1:08:18plot but I think it's interesting.
- 1:08:20I think it's more psychological than like overly fluffy
- 1:08:25romantic. It's not really like that.
- 1:08:27At least it hasn't gotten that way in those two seasons that
- 1:08:29I've watched him as this one called the remarried Empress.
- 1:08:33I saw a physical copy of it and Books-A-Million the other day
- 1:08:36like they printed physical copy because I have I like lore of
- 1:08:40Olympus which is a super popular one.
- 1:08:42I'm way behind on that one but I have Fred's, I am up to date on
- 1:08:47that one and I have I think there's only two volumes volume
- 1:08:521 and volume 2 out in person, but I do own both of them.
- 1:08:56I just regret because of the first one I bought I bought the
- 1:08:58paper back in the second one. I bought the hard drive and I'm
- 1:09:00regretting not buying the hard pack in post because I'm staring
- 1:09:03at it right now. I'm like it's gonna bother me.
- 1:09:07Speaking of webtoons is really interesting because like
- 1:09:10webtoons usually like Phil have adaptations from like a webtoon.
- 1:09:15Into a show but they add up tainted attorney Wu from the
- 1:09:19show to a webtoon, I started reading it yet but I was like
- 1:09:24this is backwards. Wait, no I just whole time.
- 1:09:31I thought it was to base off the show.
- 1:09:34Wow it was that good of a show. Interesting.
- 1:09:40Great I think like Gangnam ID it was a wet tissues for Julie web
- 1:09:45team business. Proposal business proposal
- 1:09:49cheese in the Trap the movie we did a while ago, love and
- 1:09:54leashes was originally a webtoon true beauty.
- 1:09:57So that's why I mean they usually take webtoons and make
- 1:10:00them shows, is the first time I've seen a show be turned into
- 1:10:02a webtoon. That's interesting.
- 1:10:04Yeah, I'm a read it though, but I haven't started yet.
- 1:10:07Yeah, I subscribe to it. So Get the updates but I haven't
- 1:10:10started yet. I was just like, this is
- 1:10:12interesting. I wonder if they got a surpassed
- 1:10:14the show also before the second season comes out as something
- 1:10:17curious about. When is the second season
- 1:10:20expected to come out? We don't know.
- 1:10:23Okay, we don't know. I do this, I don't know.
- 1:10:26Yeah, another show that I recently got into.
- 1:10:32I don't know if you guys, like cooking shows, i-it's like my
- 1:10:35guilty, pleasure, mostly mostly baking sheet to They like, okay,
- 1:10:40me and abuse me, because I've like, I'm a person that's really
- 1:10:45on anything, especially competition shows, because like,
- 1:10:48usually, the people I like, and I want them to win, they never
- 1:10:51win. Yeah, rig.
- 1:10:52So, I'm just like this. I just well rustic my fantasies.
- 1:10:56I've been watching recently, is called, nailed it.
- 1:10:59Okay, it's like people, I've heard of that.
- 1:11:01Yeah, cooking know. They're like really bad and you
- 1:11:04just like, watch them. Like, go down.
- 1:11:07So and I could have participated.
- 1:11:09Are you not going to cooking the fetus?
- 1:11:10I have instructions. I can do something, but asking
- 1:11:13to creatively make something. No, okay, they give them
- 1:11:17recipes. Oh they give them recipes.
- 1:11:19Okay, they give them recipes. But it's like they give them
- 1:11:23like 45 minutes to create like these intricate like desert
- 1:11:26things that are like it's like fondant and modeling chocolate.
- 1:11:29Like I have to like mold things so it's just so funny.
- 1:11:33Like, I think it's really funny and I like the the host and
- 1:11:37stuff they have celebrity. A different celebrity judge each
- 1:11:40week and they like they have one thing where it's like they have
- 1:11:45like the panic button if you need like help.
- 1:11:48It's like three minutes of help from like the there's like a
- 1:11:51French pastry chef that's on there as okay.
- 1:11:54Judges and then knit like Nicole and the celebrity good.
- 1:11:58We'll just scream like because it's like the panic button so
- 1:12:01they scream the whole time and I'm like this is this is funny
- 1:12:04and it's serious. Yeah like 10,000 That's good
- 1:12:09money. There's two rounds they go
- 1:12:11through the first round and then the second round determines the
- 1:12:15winner and then it's over. Like each episode is new people
- 1:12:18and then you move on to new people most episodes.
- 1:12:20So it's like you don't have you can watch one episode and then
- 1:12:22stop like you'd it's not a continuation.
- 1:12:24Interesting. I just I think it's pretty
- 1:12:27funny. They have like a Halloween and
- 1:12:29Christmas edition that would be so small though if they made it
- 1:12:32like an actual season where like the person just like gets better
- 1:12:36and better, but continues, yeah, that would be Be interesting.
- 1:12:39That'd be nice to so they can improve their cooking.
- 1:12:42I could see that some people cook, okay.
- 1:12:45And then it's just the decoration looks like, did you
- 1:12:48just put those eggs in the microwave, you're going to put
- 1:12:50eggs in your cake? It's just like, I just need this
- 1:12:55to feel like that's funny or like, oh, just a little bit of
- 1:13:03vanilla extract pours, whole bottle.
- 1:13:05Like it's just interesting. And then they have Taste it and
- 1:13:09Nicole's face on, like a lot of these, she's like, oh, it's B it
- 1:13:13out immediately. Yeah, she's quite funny.
- 1:13:16I like her. And the dynamic between the
- 1:13:19French guy because he like doesn't understand half the
- 1:13:22stuff. She's saying he just like smiles
- 1:13:24and knobs and then they have like this one camera guy that
- 1:13:28never speaks Called Quest. And he's always dressed in
- 1:13:30something, stupid, and random and brings the trophy out and
- 1:13:33she was like, talk to bequest and he ignores her.
- 1:13:37So it's a fun dynamic. Amick.
- 1:13:38I think it's silly fun show for like people just messing around
- 1:13:42and trying to have fun and it's light-hearted compared to a lot
- 1:13:46of like cooking and forget, they get paid to be on the show's to
- 1:13:50write the intestines. Oh, I don't.
- 1:13:53I mean, like, I know that money but I don't know if they get
- 1:13:57paid for it. I don't think a lot of people on
- 1:14:01competition shows, get paid unless they win, like, they'll
- 1:14:04get certain accommodations for them like whether that's like
- 1:14:07flight there. Like hotel.
- 1:14:10But it's rare that especially stories that I hear on reality
- 1:14:13shows that I used to watch whether there's this reality
- 1:14:16shows or competition shows I don't think they get paid or if
- 1:14:19they do it's not much it's like a stipend that they do because
- 1:14:23it's very short period of time as well from what I understand
- 1:14:26because like when I watch the other baking shows or
- 1:14:28competition shows, it's like they're given like seven hours
- 1:14:31to complete this like Masterpiece where the first
- 1:14:34round is like, 45 minutes in the second round is an hour and 45
- 1:14:37minutes. So like Like that's three hours
- 1:14:41tops. Yeah, that you're actually like
- 1:14:43making these things that's not a crazy amount of time.
- 1:14:45I'm sure they do it in one day so they probably pay for them to
- 1:14:49fly their pay for them to stay and flip pay for them to
- 1:14:52honestly. I would I would be content with
- 1:14:53that but that's a vacation, right?
- 1:14:58I don't know. I think it's just, it's just fun
- 1:15:01and light-hearted which like a lot of, I like the, I prefer the
- 1:15:06light-hearted competition shows. No like Don't I don't ever watch
- 1:15:09any of like, Gordon Ramsay stuff because I don't, I feel like
- 1:15:12he's mean, I see clips of like when he does it with the kids,
- 1:15:17so he's right. Yeah yeah.
- 1:15:19Yeah, sweet. Yeah.
- 1:15:20But I don't know, it's just, I don't want to watch a kid cry
- 1:15:23either because they feel like they've made a mistake.
- 1:15:26So it's like, I prefer the ones that are just silly or whatever
- 1:15:30Every Time I Think of Gordon Ramsay because I don't watch his
- 1:15:33shows. But I just think of that one
- 1:15:35clip that turned into a me where he has the bread between that
- 1:15:38one girl's face. Face about the idiot sandwich,
- 1:15:46and he's kind of work. He seems like a nice guy.
- 1:15:51I actually heard, he's actually pretty nice in person and I
- 1:15:54remember, I used to sometimes when I go over my brother's like
- 1:15:58house. When I visit them, they like
- 1:16:00that one show that he does is it called Hell's Kitchen when he
- 1:16:04goes to restaurants and tries to sell and people that mmm.
- 1:16:07Yeah. That Are failing in the
- 1:16:09restaurant business. So anyway that's I've been
- 1:16:14watching that I also like is it cake which is like, they like
- 1:16:19realistic cake makers make cakes and then there's like five
- 1:16:22different options and the judges have to decide which one is
- 1:16:24actually cake. So that's kind of that was a
- 1:16:28meme. That was a thing online for
- 1:16:30like, at the beginning of the pandemic and I was getting
- 1:16:32scared because things, I didn't think we're cake.
- 1:16:34We're turning into cake. Yeah, that's like art in a whole
- 1:16:37different light. Nailed it.
- 1:16:39But my love. Art like that.
- 1:16:41It's cool. It's creepy and it's edible.
- 1:16:43Interesting. I'm wondering.
- 1:16:44Yeah. Illusion art is cool for sure.
- 1:16:49So I think it's talk about what I'm doing real quick.
- 1:16:54Not much actually. I'm just trying to catch up and
- 1:16:56stuff, like just catching up on my hero Academia, which is God
- 1:16:59really good. It's got good.
- 1:17:02I have gotten so far behind in that at this point, that I need
- 1:17:05to start over again and watch if you, if you can make the ketchup
- 1:17:08because it's starting to get interesting.
- 1:17:10I guess, what are you on me? Or may see you soon?
- 1:17:15I'm caught up. They're releasing new episodes.
- 1:17:18Yeah. Hulu right now, that's recent,
- 1:17:21so I'm caught up on the latest one that came out like This week
- 1:17:24I watched like two episodes and then I never went back to it.
- 1:17:27So I don't know how, but I understand.
- 1:17:32Because because sometimes especially with shown in genres,
- 1:17:35if you see one, you seen them all, if you see Naruto, you've
- 1:17:38seen them all, no offense guys. But there are certain ones that
- 1:17:42can tell the story differently that you have to debate, if it
- 1:17:46will capture your attention. So there's that actually still
- 1:17:49never finished by versus family. I'm not behind on that.
- 1:17:53Try to finish mob psycho because that ended I need to finish
- 1:17:57chainsaw, man. I started so before I watch The
- 1:18:03Glory, I watched this one kdrama that's on Netflix called
- 1:18:06somebody I don't know if it's one of those things where I'm
- 1:18:11trying to excuse a Bad plot and it's actually bad or I'm sitting
- 1:18:15here. I'm like, maybe I just not smart
- 1:18:17enough to under what is it about a stick value?
- 1:18:21Girl, I can't even, I don't even know if I could explain it
- 1:18:24because the plot that Netflix gives I feel a kind of derails
- 1:18:28after the first episode. It's really about this one girl
- 1:18:32and she has it's not autism. I think she has Asperger's but
- 1:18:38basically she Creates this Lake. AI intelligent software to
- 1:18:46communicate. Because she doesn't really have
- 1:18:48that many friends and later on in life because when she was,
- 1:18:51like, showcasing it to some type of like science, fair talent,
- 1:18:54show a woman, discovered it and they turned it into a dating
- 1:18:57app. But then they realized, the
- 1:19:00dating app is being used, by this one guy who was basically
- 1:19:03causing like it's going around killing people, but like I said,
- 1:19:07I feel like the plot kind of De rails after the first episode.
- 1:19:12Because we find out who the Killer is pretty quickly.
- 1:19:16I feel like I started that one but I never finished it because
- 1:19:20it sounds familiar, but it was, it was really, but no, it kind
- 1:19:23of derailed, I was confused. There was a lot of I feel like
- 1:19:30unnecessary sex scenes, which another thing I have to get used
- 1:19:33to, because I'm not used to watching kdramas.
- 1:19:35Like that mature was sexy and it's not like they don't happen,
- 1:19:39but it was like it was this really nice.
- 1:19:42Siri right 2000. And then this world girl, who
- 1:19:48was a cop and she's in a wheelchair.
- 1:19:50She kind of made me mad because like she bade, like, the dumbest
- 1:19:53decisions in the world. It'll like, girl, you're a
- 1:19:59detective. Why are you making these
- 1:20:01decisions? Yeah, all right.
- 1:20:04Well, one thing that I thought was pretty cool about the show
- 1:20:06is, I don't know if this is something in real life because
- 1:20:08like I said, she's in a wheelchair, but she has this
- 1:20:10kind of like car and Cuz she's in like an electric wheelchair.
- 1:20:14There's a way where she can like get in the car from the back
- 1:20:17seat, where, like the back kind of Rises up and she can drive
- 1:20:20the car with her wheelchair. It's pretty cool.
- 1:20:22Like, is this real? This needs to be invested into
- 1:20:25more for like disabled people. This is really cool.
- 1:20:30Well, the other than that somebody confuse me.
- 1:20:33I still don't know if I really liked it or not and then I watch
- 1:20:36the glory and after the glory, I needed to wash something
- 1:20:38light-hearted. So I started watching the show
- 1:20:41called behind Star, which is basically about like this
- 1:20:44entertainment company called method entertainment and they're
- 1:20:47all agents. So it's basically, like story of
- 1:20:49like how agents deal with like the celebrities they're
- 1:20:53managing. And I think it's like not, it's
- 1:20:55not really a mockumentary but I think some of the actors are
- 1:20:59real actors, but I still don't know a lot of like, the actor's
- 1:21:03name, so I can't tell but like, they will mention shows that I
- 1:21:06know are real so or they'll name dropping, especially, like, on
- 1:21:10Netflix or like Disney plus, so I'm like, okay.
- 1:21:12So you must be the actual actor in this like now was in that
- 1:21:15production but that's kind of cute.
- 1:21:18So I'm about nothing else. Really?
- 1:21:21I feel like I've been busy but not busy.
- 1:21:26I like become a twice man. Apparently now so I like their
- 1:21:30new song Moonlight Sunrise which is also interesting because I
- 1:21:35don't know if nafiz is heard but I've mentioned this girl group
- 1:21:38that's here in America Thousand Times called citizen Queen and
- 1:21:41two of the girls from that group, I think, I don't know all
- 1:21:45their names either, but I think the girl's name is Nina and is
- 1:21:49it Katie? But they wrote the song,
- 1:21:52basically for twice because it's an English song.
- 1:21:56I was very proud of that and I hope more people get into
- 1:21:58citizen Queen because they're very talented girl group.
- 1:22:01So, but I thought that was cool that they were able to write
- 1:22:03that song for a K-pop group twice and it's got a groan.
- 1:22:09I think you'd like it may see. I know how you feel about twice
- 1:22:11like nothing like that song. They're starting to get into
- 1:22:14their mature, grown women music. So yeah, I will check out the
- 1:22:20album when it comes because I think it's supposed to drop in
- 1:22:23March. Yeah, rumors are circulating gym
- 1:22:28in my drop. His solo album in February, so
- 1:22:30we'll see if you guys listen to Vibe with him and I did actually
- 1:22:33really liked it. Yeah, it did as well.
- 1:22:39It took me a couple listens but like the song says and I think
- 1:22:42everyone's saying it's a five. So I also haven't watched the
- 1:22:48clip but I know there's like a clip of Yugi's little drinking
- 1:22:51show. We're taking is a guest and he's
- 1:22:54just like fanboying the whole time, so the clips are adorable.
- 1:23:00But yeah, it's also not an I was Thinking podcast, if I don't
- 1:23:03bring up BTS, right? And then they ever running jokes
- 1:23:08of. Where is Jungkook?

- 1:23:16his best life guys I'm sure he's fine.

- 1:23:31And thank you supposed normally. It's okay, all you could post
- 1:23:38the picture of your finger and trust me fans will be happy fans

- 1:26:08interested so appreciative. That's why we do this.
- 1:26:12That's why I did this. So, My the only one that's going
- 1:26:18to give my thanks and I know y'all agree with me.

- 1:26:29Anything else. Y'all want to say before we go?
- 1:26:31I guess I will also do the closing.
- 1:26:36It's always a battle between us like who's going to, who's going
- 1:26:39to do the closing? Because like, none of us seem
- 1:26:41like we want to, I always mess it up.
- 1:26:44I never say what I think. I'm gonna say it's I'd okay.
