- 0:12Speaker 1: Hello, no, no, no, no, Welcome to the naughty but
- 0:15Speaker 1: nice Hey strad Shooter. It's Friday, which means our dear
- 0:18Speaker 1: friend Cory Andrew joins us. Hey, Corey, A you know
- 0:21Speaker 1: I am here.
- 0:22Speaker 2: Hello, Happy Friday, everyone.
- 0:24Speaker 1: Happy Friday.
- 0:25Speaker 2: Love.
- 0:25Speaker 1: I love seeing you on TV. I've seen you on
- 0:26Speaker 1: Merrick TV, Doctor Phil's Noon Network. I think I've seen
- 0:29Speaker 1: you on News Nation. To Corey, it's great. You're so
- 0:32Speaker 1: good at it. Do you enjoy doing it?
- 0:33Speaker 2: I do enjoy doing it. And you know, this show
- 0:35Speaker 2: has been such a wonderful.
- 0:37Speaker 3: Training ground for me. If you will, you know it's
- 0:39Speaker 3: been wonderful. You've been wonderful.
- 0:41Speaker 2: And now some of these great news programs are calling
- 0:43Speaker 2: me directly to just come on and give my opinion
- 0:46Speaker 2: and perspectives.
- 0:47Speaker 1: Imagine that it's so wild, isn't it?
- 0:50Speaker 2: Yeah? A lot great.
- 0:51Speaker 1: For a very long time, nobody including me, really cared
- 0:54Speaker 1: about my opinion, and I had to learn that my
- 0:59Speaker 1: opinion does matter and I am expert in this. But
- 1:03Speaker 1: it is wild. The first few times when you get
- 1:05Speaker 1: asked to come on TV and give your opinion, I
- 1:09Speaker 1: always want to say to these bookers, why do you care? Like?
- 1:12Speaker 1: What do you care what I think that I don't
- 1:15Speaker 1: say that, don't say you just say that, But it
- 1:18Speaker 1: just shows you. We're all full, or at least partially
- 1:22Speaker 1: full of self doubt. All of us have self doubt.
- 1:26Speaker 1: I've been doing this for twenty five thirty years. I'm
- 1:28Speaker 1: really good at celebrity. I know this world, and even
- 1:32Speaker 1: I have doubt when I do it. But the secret
- 1:35Speaker 1: is to push that to one side and just do it.
- 1:39Speaker 1: Just do it. I say all the time. Your knees
- 1:43Speaker 1: might be trembling, but you can still walk. My knees
- 1:45Speaker 1: tremble a lot, but I don't let on. I walk
- 1:48Speaker 1: like I'm a peacock. Okay, let's jump into the show.
- 1:51Speaker 1: What time is it? My friends? It is tea time
- 1:54Speaker 1: take story at the top of the show, and a
- 1:55Speaker 1: very interesting one. Camilla Cabello, who I really really like.
- 1:59Speaker 1: I've met her several She hit the stage to a
- 2:02Speaker 1: near empty arena. Now some fans are saying this is
- 2:06Speaker 1: brilliant that she still did a show. All those people
- 2:09Speaker 1: that bought tickets not full. But yet no, there was
- 2:12Speaker 1: about thirty percent of the tickets sold, so a few
- 2:16Speaker 1: thousand tickets sold. Well, like, I'm glad she did it.
- 2:18Speaker 1: We've been looking forward to this show and we don't
- 2:20Speaker 1: care that it's empty. However, other people are like, wow,
- 2:24Speaker 1: she should have canceled. Let me explain. So the pop
- 2:26Speaker 1: star found herself in the spotlight for all the wrong
- 2:29Speaker 1: reasons after performing to a nearly empty State Farm Arena
- 2:34Speaker 1: in Atlanta, Georgia. Viral photographs really really sparked this entire debate,
- 2:39Speaker 1: and some people are now calling the fifth Harmony member
- 2:42Speaker 1: a flop. One person wrote that shit is empty. I
- 2:47Speaker 1: had a look. It was about thirty percent fall. Now
- 2:50Speaker 1: let me explain here. I've worked with a lot of
- 2:54Speaker 1: celebrities and sometimes they've been booked in venues that are
- 2:57Speaker 1: just too big for them. It's not their fault if
- 3:00Speaker 1: their manager, if their agents had really done a better job.
- 3:04Speaker 1: Let's be honest here, if the manager had done a
- 3:06Speaker 1: better job, they would have never booked her Camilica Bello
- 3:10Speaker 1: into a venue that Miley Cyrus would play. She's just
- 3:13Speaker 1: not that level of celebrity and this can happen many,
- 3:17Speaker 1: many years into your career. Recently, Jalo canceled her to
- 3:20Speaker 1: her at the time, she said it was because of
- 3:21Speaker 1: family issues, partially true, but also to it just wasn't
- 3:24Speaker 1: selling now. Had Jennifer played smaller venues, it would have
- 3:29Speaker 1: been a big hit, it would have sold out, and
- 3:31Speaker 1: so you have to be very careful here. I don't
- 3:33Speaker 1: think this is Camilica Bello's fault. I would blame her manager.
- 3:37Speaker 1: I'd blame her agents. I blame the people that that
- 3:40Speaker 1: booked her. The thing is here, and this is where
- 3:42Speaker 1: it gets very complicated. If you sell out a huge venue,
- 3:46Speaker 1: everybody makes more money, including the manager and the agents.
- 3:50Speaker 1: So agents and managers want to put you in massive
- 3:53Speaker 1: venues because they'll make more money if you do sell it,
- 3:57Speaker 1: and often too, that money can be blinding and the
- 4:00Speaker 1: reality is you're not gonna sell it.
- 4:03Speaker 3: Now.
- 4:03Speaker 1: If I said that, they're like, how do you know, Rob,
- 4:05Speaker 1: You're being so negative, And I'm like, you're being too
- 4:07Speaker 1: optimistic and this is gonna be embarrassing. It is weird.
- 4:11Speaker 1: Have you ever been to a show Corey that is
- 4:13Speaker 1: is not that? That that fall? I have and it's
- 4:16Speaker 1: it sort of does. It's a downer not just for
- 4:18Speaker 1: the person on stage, the performer, but for the for
- 4:21Speaker 1: the audience too. What do you think about this? You
- 4:23Speaker 1: are you are a performer, so you're your insight here
- 4:26Speaker 1: is gonna be great. What do you think?
- 4:28Speaker 3: Well, the best thing about my insight here is that
- 4:30Speaker 3: I've experienced it from the perspective of Camilla. Okay, years ago,
- 4:35Speaker 3: my debut CD with my band. We were getting big
- 4:38Speaker 3: at the time. We got endorsed by Jeep, we got
- 4:42Speaker 3: endorsed by Serious Radio, We got a deal with Victoria's
- 4:45Speaker 3: Secret on Valentine's Dad using of our songs, and we
- 4:48Speaker 3: went to Petown during our tour. Provincetown a big game mecha,
- 4:51Speaker 3: a very popular gay town, but they're big on campy
- 4:55Speaker 3: drag queen performances and like there's big cabarets and that's
- 4:59Speaker 3: the town. The town I was very like, kind of
- 5:00Speaker 3: over the top with a very gay, campy material. So
- 5:03Speaker 3: we were a rock band, a little out of our element,
- 5:06Speaker 3: but the promoter wanted to bring us there to try
- 5:08Speaker 3: something new.
- 5:10Speaker 2: So we go there and we promote the hell out
- 5:12Speaker 2: of it.
- 5:12Speaker 3: And I opened up to like eight people in a
- 5:15Speaker 3: venue and it was devastating when the curtain opened, and
- 5:18Speaker 3: you know what, I got my act together and I
- 5:20Speaker 3: performed for those.
- 5:21Speaker 2: Eight people like it was eight thousand.
- 5:23Speaker 3: Because those eight people could have gone out and told
- 5:26Speaker 3: two more and it would have become a ten. So
- 5:29Speaker 3: I am with Camilla Girl. You perform for the cleaning Lady.
- 5:32Speaker 3: If that's all, that's because you have it. It's your soul,
- 5:35Speaker 3: it's your integrity as a performer.
- 5:36Speaker 1: To do it, do your share. When I worked for
- 5:38Speaker 1: Ashley Simpson, Joe Simpson booked her in two bigger venues.
- 5:42Speaker 1: She just wasn't gonna sell these venues. And it became
- 5:44Speaker 1: really clear early on. I went with her. We were
- 5:47Speaker 1: out in La at the Greek Theater and it was
- 5:51Speaker 1: really really empty, and I was trying to turn out
- 5:54Speaker 1: more press than you can imagine to try and sell
- 5:57Speaker 1: these tickets, and we got a ton of press and
- 5:59Speaker 1: people still did not show up. And the moment actually
- 6:02Speaker 1: walked out on that stage, you could see it in
- 6:03Speaker 1: her eyes. She knew. She knew another little trick that
- 6:06Speaker 1: they do too. Ifever you're going to see your favorite
- 6:08Speaker 1: pop group performer, sometimes they can push the stage forward.
- 6:13Speaker 1: So I think to shows where the stage should be
- 6:16Speaker 1: at the end of the arena. However, they can push
- 6:20Speaker 1: the stage forward, so instead of being a big arena,
- 6:25Speaker 1: it's only half the size, and so now all the
- 6:28Speaker 1: empty seats are behind the stage. Another thing they do
- 6:31Speaker 1: or two is instead of putting the stage at the
- 6:33Speaker 1: end of the arena, they flip it and they put
- 6:36Speaker 1: it on the side, and so the depth of the
- 6:39Speaker 1: seats on the floor are much much more narrow. So
- 6:42Speaker 1: there are a few tricks. They also can put up
- 6:44Speaker 1: some curtains, some black curtains upstairs to make sure you
- 6:47Speaker 1: don't see all those empty seats upstairs. Often too, they
- 6:50Speaker 1: can just cover the seats with black fabric up in
- 6:53Speaker 1: the loft way up top, and so when the lights
- 6:56Speaker 1: go down, you don't see all those empty seats. So
- 6:58Speaker 1: there are some tricks. But I think here, when you've
- 7:00Speaker 1: only sold thirty percent, you can have tricks. You can
- 7:02Speaker 1: have bells, you can have whistles. You know, it's not
- 7:05Speaker 1: that good for you as the performer, it's not that
- 7:08Speaker 1: good for you as the audience. But what do you
- 7:10Speaker 1: think here? Which brings us to our whole question of
- 7:12Speaker 1: the day. Camilla Cabello performed to a nearly empty arena.
- 7:18Speaker 1: Should she have canceled? Some people say yes, some people
- 7:22Speaker 1: say no. She chose to do a show, and I'm
- 7:25Speaker 1: told she did an incredible job. She went full out,
- 7:28Speaker 1: like you, Corey, She performed as if the whole place
- 7:30Speaker 1: was packed? Should she have canceled? Hey, a vote on
- 7:34Speaker 1: our Twitter page, add an auday nice rob Our Facebook
- 7:37Speaker 1: page is naughty gossip and be sure to check back
- 7:39Speaker 1: on Monday to hear your results. Hey, Corey, what are
- 7:43Speaker 1: you working on?
- 7:44Speaker 2: Yes, the Biebers are in the news.
- 7:46Speaker 3: Hailey Bieber, She's hitting back at rumors with her Missus
- 7:49Speaker 3: Bieber tote bag after a.
- 7:51Speaker 2: Little Instagram drama with her husband, Justin.
- 7:55Speaker 3: So basically a twenty seven year old, she is subtly,
- 7:57Speaker 3: subtly clapping back at these swirling rumors about her marriage
- 8:01Speaker 3: to Justin Bieber by.
- 8:02Speaker 2: Posting a mirrored selfie featuring.
- 8:04Speaker 3: A tone bag and it's embroidered with Missus Bieber. It
- 8:08Speaker 3: was an oversized ll being green and cream canvas toad
- 8:11Speaker 3: forty four dollars for anybody who wants to go out
- 8:13Speaker 3: and buy it. And this bold statement comes just one
- 8:17Speaker 3: day after Justin claimed his Instagram account was hacked because
- 8:22Speaker 3: fans noticed he had unfollowed Haley's account. He had unfollowed
- 8:27Speaker 3: his wife and it's kind of funny because, you know,
- 8:29Speaker 3: to further shut down speculation, she shared, Haley shared an
- 8:33Speaker 3: Instagram carousel that included a cozy photo of Justin sleeping,
- 8:37Speaker 3: seemingly from their recent asspen getaway. But I have to
- 8:40Speaker 3: laugh at this story because you know, I've been with
- 8:42Speaker 3: my Joey for like twenty five years, and there are
- 8:44Speaker 3: times when Joe I'll post something he's like I'm gonna
- 8:47Speaker 3: unfriend you on Facebook and he literally will like mute
- 8:52Speaker 3: the photo or like you'll like, you know, he really
- 8:54Speaker 3: will like he's like two seconds.
- 8:56Speaker 2: From unfriending me on Instagram sometimes, So I mean.
- 8:59Speaker 3: You know, it doesn't mean they're getting a divorce, even
- 9:01Speaker 3: if he does and follow her.
- 9:03Speaker 2: You know what I mean.
- 9:04Speaker 1: Yeah, I find this slightly annoying. I spoke to my
- 9:08Speaker 1: sources and they told me they love this. They love
- 9:11Speaker 1: the attention. Like now they've become a reality show couple.
- 9:14Speaker 1: That's that's what this is. And instead of being on brather,
- 9:16Speaker 1: they're on Instagram. And he's not really doing much music anymore,
- 9:20Speaker 1: and I don't I think she was a model, but
- 9:22Speaker 1: I don't think she's working anymore. But they still like
- 9:24Speaker 1: to be in the press, and so at first, I
- 9:25Speaker 1: was like, God, it must be awful having people speculate
- 9:28Speaker 1: about your relationship and my sources tell me you would
- 9:31Speaker 1: think so. But they seem to enjoy it. They like
- 9:33Speaker 1: this US versus the world mentality, so don't feel bad
- 9:36Speaker 1: for them. Plus they have two and so it's a
- 9:40Speaker 1: little bit like they're playing with us. And I do
- 9:43Speaker 1: think too. If you want to stop speculation about your marriage,
- 9:47Speaker 1: get off social media, just get off it public. Yeah,
- 9:49Speaker 1: stop talking about it. The more you talk about it,
- 9:52Speaker 1: the more suspicious I get. So I do know here
- 9:54Speaker 1: that Justin has been quite honest about his mental health struggle.
- 9:57Speaker 1: So that makes me a little bit nervous. But people
- 10:00Speaker 1: that leave these coy messages trying to be just so
- 10:03Speaker 1: cute drives me mad. It's like friends on Facebook who right,
- 10:07Speaker 1: big announcement coming, Oh yeah, but I can't tell you,
- 10:10Speaker 1: then don't tell me.
- 10:12Speaker 2: Don't don't tell me. Yeah, don't don't tell me you're ready.
- 10:16Speaker 3: To tell me, Or those couples who profess their love
- 10:19Speaker 3: all the time, and then you know, I'm like, if
- 10:21Speaker 3: you're really that in love, you wouldn't be you'd be
- 10:23Speaker 3: busy being in love Instagram every day.
- 10:26Speaker 1: Yes, let me give you a little secret, And it
- 10:28Speaker 1: changed my life on Instagram on social media. Instagram is
- 10:32Speaker 1: not for your friends, your phone, your time being with
- 10:37Speaker 1: someone is for your friends. I don't follow my friends
- 10:39Speaker 1: on Instagram because I follow them in real life. Instagram's
- 10:42Speaker 1: for my job. I only follow outlets that I compete with.
- 10:47Speaker 1: I only follow news organizations that I'm jealous of. Instagram
- 10:51Speaker 1: is a tool for my job interesting, not a way
- 10:55Speaker 1: for me to stay in touch with my friends. I
- 10:57Speaker 1: do that a little bit on Facebook. If you look
- 10:59Speaker 1: on the instag I don't think I follow Bruce. I
- 11:02Speaker 1: follow like eight people, and they're all columnists or media
- 11:07Speaker 1: outlets that I want to know about. For my work.
- 11:10Speaker 1: Instagram is for my work. Facebook is for my friends
- 11:14Speaker 1: and my real friends. That's what botty knows is for.
- 11:17Speaker 1: That's what Potty knows is for. Absolutely. I don't need
- 11:20Speaker 1: to send Bruce a message on Instagram. He's sitting next
- 11:24Speaker 1: to me, sitting next to me. Think about it today
- 11:28Speaker 1: and go on Instagram and start following people whose lives
- 11:33Speaker 1: whose jobs you admire. If you want to be a writer,
- 11:37Speaker 1: follow writers. If you want to be a baker, follow bakers.
- 11:42Speaker 1: If you want to get into the entertainment business, start
- 11:45Speaker 1: following people who are in that business whose career you
- 11:49Speaker 1: would like. And start figuring out how they did it
- 11:53Speaker 1: when I wanted to be a self help author. And
- 11:56Speaker 1: thank you Naughties. Because of you, I'm the best selling
- 11:59Speaker 1: self help author. You bought that book the Forward Answer.
- 12:02Speaker 1: For a year, all I followed was other self help authors.
- 12:06Speaker 1: That's all I did for a year. So it's just
- 12:08Speaker 1: a little trick and you live your life. You do
- 12:10Speaker 1: what you want. But it's been really helpful to me.
- 12:12Speaker 1: You're not on Instagram for your friends or your partner,
- 12:15Speaker 1: You're on it for you and to grow. Okay, moving along,
- 12:18Speaker 1: we have some Oscar snubs yesterday, Angelina, Jolie, Nicole Kidman,
- 12:22Speaker 1: Selena Gomes all shockingly left out. So Angelina was brilliant
- 12:26Speaker 1: in Maria callis absolutely brilliant. Everybody saying it's a real
- 12:30Speaker 1: crea defining performance. Not even nominated. Now I'm hearing this
- 12:35Speaker 1: might be because Hollywood is team Bratt. Yeah, to Hollywood
- 12:40Speaker 1: is yeah, it is very much team Pratt. Nicole Kidman,
- 12:44Speaker 1: now that's a surprise to you, baby girl. I've not
- 12:45Speaker 1: seen it, but she won the Best Actress at the
- 12:47Speaker 1: Venice Film Festival, and also too, I think she won
- 12:50Speaker 1: the National Board of Review, a very prestigious Award. She's
- 12:53Speaker 1: not nominated Selena Gomes. That's a shocker too, especially because
- 12:58Speaker 1: Amelia pres is the most nominated film of the year
- 13:01Speaker 1: with thirteen nominations. Denzil Washington, I thought he would be
- 13:05Speaker 1: nominated for Gladiator too, no nomination. Daniel Craig is extraordinary
- 13:10Speaker 1: in this very courageous movie called Queer. He plays a
- 13:13Speaker 1: gay guy and to see James Bond get that down
- 13:17Speaker 1: and dirty, literally, I bleshing Corey. I felt like on
- 13:21Speaker 1: some naughty website watching that movie, and so I thought
- 13:25Speaker 1: Daniel Craig would be nominate noted. And then the one
- 13:27Speaker 1: that hurts me the most because I love her and
- 13:29Speaker 1: this would have been so important to her. Pam Anderson.
- 13:32Speaker 1: She's great. The last show girl. Pam is so great.
- 13:35Speaker 1: She's never been very well respected in the in the
- 13:38Speaker 1: in the business they watch made her a lot of money,
- 13:41Speaker 1: but didn't really ever win any awards. But I think
- 13:44Speaker 1: Demi Moore has that slot this show. She's somebody too
- 13:47Speaker 1: that Hollywood didn't really respect that much. In her Golden
- 13:50Speaker 1: Globe speech, she talked about her herself being a beach
- 13:54Speaker 1: movie type person, a popcorn movie type porn. That's it,
- 13:58Speaker 1: popcorn actress and so I loved Emmy is doing well
- 14:01Speaker 1: and I predict Emmy it's gonna win. But I would
- 14:03Speaker 1: have loved to have seen pam in this category too.
- 14:06Speaker 2: What about you, Yeah, it would have been nice to
- 14:07Speaker 2: see Pam.
- 14:08Speaker 3: I was really rooting for her and at least Jamie
- 14:09Speaker 3: Lee because it was such a great Both of them
- 14:11Speaker 3: are so wonderfulness. But yeah, I think even in the
- 14:15Speaker 3: SAG Awards, if I'm not mistaken, Angelina and Nicole did
- 14:17Speaker 3: not even get nominations for SAG Awards, and then Pamela
- 14:21Speaker 3: actually did for a SAG Award.
- 14:23Speaker 2: So it's all over the place.
- 14:25Speaker 3: But I'm thinking, like Pamela at least deserved an ask
- 14:28Speaker 3: her nomination.
- 14:30Speaker 1: She's been eaten up by this business and made a
- 14:33Speaker 1: full of people have made jokes about pam for years.
- 14:36Speaker 1: And you know the best way to support and I
- 14:38Speaker 1: go and see the movie. I'm coming sure it's an excellent,
- 14:41Speaker 1: excellent movie. I was thinking about it for a couple
- 14:43Speaker 1: of days afterwards. Okay, We're going to take a quick
- 14:47Speaker 1: break and we will be right back. Welcome back to
- 14:53Speaker 1: the Naughty Ben Nice Shame your host, Rubb shooting with
- 14:55Speaker 1: her dear friend Corey Andrew. Hey, Corey, let's get to
- 14:57Speaker 1: the polls. Okay. Last show, we talked about Harry settling
- 15:03Speaker 1: his explosive lawsuit with Murdoch's tabloid newspapers in London. Should
- 15:09Speaker 1: he have gone to trial? Now? If you remember, Harry
- 15:11Speaker 1: said he would not settle this. He said, I'm gonna
- 15:13Speaker 1: go to trial because I want eight weeks on the
- 15:17Speaker 1: stand in a court to prove what happened here. He said,
- 15:21Speaker 1: I want the world to know the outrageous measures they
- 15:25Speaker 1: went to, including phone tapping, hiring private investigators, and so
- 15:30Speaker 1: he wanted to really blow the lid off this scandal.
- 15:34Speaker 1: Now he has won, they have settled it, but he
- 15:37Speaker 1: didn't get his day in court. We did point out
- 15:40Speaker 1: on yesterday's show this is partly financial. There's a little
- 15:44Speaker 1: sort of not great thing in the British law where
- 15:47Speaker 1: he could win. He could win if he went if
- 15:49Speaker 1: he took the stand and went to court, he could
- 15:51Speaker 1: win and still have to pay his legal expenses, which
- 15:55Speaker 1: could be millions of dollars. There's a little sort of
- 15:59Speaker 1: nuance in the law. So I think that's the reason
- 16:01Speaker 1: here that he settled this. And let's be honest, he
- 16:04Speaker 1: got twelve million pounds slightly more in dollars, so it's
- 16:07Speaker 1: a lot of money he got. What do you think
- 16:10Speaker 1: should he have gone to trial? Seventy percent said no,
- 16:14Speaker 1: settle it. You've got a full apology. They admitted they
- 16:17Speaker 1: were wrong, and he got twelve million dollars. Hey, don't
- 16:22Speaker 1: forget to vote. Aren't today's poll? Should Camilla Cabello have
- 16:26Speaker 1: canceled her performance? Yes or no? Go vote on a
- 16:29Speaker 1: Twita page at Naughty Nice rob at Facebook pages Naughty
- 16:33Speaker 1: Gossip and be sure to check back on Monday to
- 16:36Speaker 1: hear your results. And now it's time for a Noisiest
- 16:42Speaker 1: of the job.
- 16:45Speaker 3: Yes, but this is a very sweet story because we
- 16:47Speaker 3: all love Holder Holder Co. She reunited with Savannah Guthrie
- 16:51Speaker 3: and Jenna Bush recently after her Today's Show exit, of course,
- 16:54Speaker 3: and she's proven that even after stepping away from the
- 16:57Speaker 3: Today Show, they're friendships, the ones that.
- 16:59Speaker 2: They built again other are here to stay.
- 17:01Speaker 3: So it's been less than two weeks after her departure
- 17:04Speaker 3: and they got together. You know, they hung out, They
- 17:06Speaker 3: went to a nice heartwarming dinner in New York City.
- 17:09Speaker 3: Sixty year old shared a cheerful selfie on Instagram and
- 17:12Speaker 3: She was seated with Guthrie and Bush in a nice
- 17:15Speaker 3: little cozy restaurant. And then after that they kept going.
- 17:18Speaker 3: Those girls were like three teenagers on the town. They
- 17:20Speaker 3: went out to the City Winery, which is a great
- 17:23Speaker 3: spot in the city, and they were supporting their Today
- 17:25Speaker 3: Show colleague Will he got used at his first ever
- 17:27Speaker 3: Sunday sit down live show. So you know what, friendships
- 17:31Speaker 3: made it work. They don't always end just because the
- 17:33Speaker 3: job does. This is a good example of that. Love it,
- 17:36Speaker 3: love it, love it.
- 17:37Speaker 1: I love it, I love it, I love it. I
- 17:38Speaker 1: hoard it did make me laugh. Herd Or told the
- 17:40Speaker 1: mutual friend, she was like, two weeks ago they threw
- 17:42Speaker 1: me this big going away party and here I am surprised.
- 17:50Speaker 1: Just two weeks ago, this huge goodbye party. She said,
- 17:53Speaker 1: you can't get rid of me. These will be friends forever.
- 17:55Speaker 1: Are nicest of the day, and now I noticed the day.
- 17:59Speaker 1: Megan Monk nickname has been exposed to Meghan's now defunct podcast.
- 18:06Speaker 1: Her Spotify podcast Art She Types continues to spark drama
- 18:11Speaker 1: long after its cancelation. A UK Royal correspondent is revealing
- 18:16Speaker 1: that at the podcast, Meghan had the nickname Eva. Now
- 18:21Speaker 1: This refers to Joan Crawford's ruthless character in a nineteen
- 18:26Speaker 1: fifty five classic Queen Bee. They use the name to
- 18:31Speaker 1: signal she was on a warpath, and so sometimes if
- 18:34Speaker 1: she would have good days, sometimes she would have bad days.
- 18:36Speaker 1: I used to have a boss like this and would
- 18:38Speaker 1: always ask, how's the weather today, And we're talking about her,
- 18:41Speaker 1: and if the weather was stormy or bad, we knew
- 18:43Speaker 1: she was on her roll. And if it was sunny today,
- 18:46Speaker 1: we knew she was in a good mood. But literally
- 18:48Speaker 1: every morning, I'd say, what's the weather like today, and
- 18:50Speaker 1: they'd be like, watch out, bring your umbrella as a
- 18:52Speaker 1: storm all they'd say, it's nice. And so I'm not
- 18:55Speaker 1: a big fan of nicknames. I just don't like it.
- 18:59Speaker 1: I don't think it's that cute. I try not to
- 19:02Speaker 1: do it myself. Anybody that mocks somebody with a nickname,
- 19:05Speaker 1: I don't know, Like part of me wants to enjoy it,
- 19:08Speaker 1: but I think I think overall here it's just so
- 19:11Speaker 1: silly and so childish and call people names, And that
- 19:14Speaker 1: seems to be a trend at the moment. It doesn't
- 19:17Speaker 1: seem to be going away, Cory. It seems to actually
- 19:18Speaker 1: be increasing that. Now it's okay for us all to
- 19:21Speaker 1: give it. People these these cruel nicknames. No, no, no,
- 19:25Speaker 1: I'm not into it and naughtiest of the day, even
- 19:27Speaker 1: if it happens to be true, which I'm not saying
- 19:29Speaker 1: it is here, just don't do nicknames. Not a good look.
- 19:32Speaker 1: Let's end with a moment of rub Thank you, darling.
- 19:38Speaker 1: The sexiest thing in the entire world is being smart, thoughtful,
- 19:43Speaker 1: and generous. I promise you. All that other stuff that
- 19:47Speaker 1: people try to sell you it's rubbish. It doesn't matter.
- 19:50Speaker 1: Don't buy it. It's not how you look, it's not
- 19:53Speaker 1: the shoes you're wearing, it's not the restaurant you go
- 19:56Speaker 1: to at the end of the day. All that matters
- 19:59Speaker 1: is being smart, thoughtful, and generous. There's been lots of
- 20:04Speaker 1: studies surveys with people that are near the end of
- 20:07Speaker 1: their lives, older people who are ready to pass, and
- 20:11Speaker 1: they ask them what you wish you had done more
- 20:15Speaker 1: of in your life, And they never say they wanted
- 20:17Speaker 1: more shoes, or a bigger house or bigger cars. They
- 20:20Speaker 1: all say, I wish I was a little bit more thoughtful,
- 20:22Speaker 1: a little bit more generous, and a little bit more smart. Hey,
- 20:27Speaker 1: that is it for this week. Thank you so much
- 20:29Speaker 1: for listening to The Naughty but Nice with Rob and
