- 0:32Speaker 3: you by Twey.
- 0:34Speaker 4: Get it in, yeah, get it inside you.
- 0:37Speaker 3: And I can tell you that we are currently broadcasting
- 0:40Speaker 3: from the stunning, the magnificent ner Why golf Course on
- 0:47Speaker 3: the coastline here in west Auckland and mowgi As always
- 0:51Speaker 3: looking like an absolute stellion.
- 0:53Speaker 4: You Greek of Donna's how's life going? Pretty grassy? You
- 0:56Speaker 4: made dog your sixth son of a bay. It was
- 0:58Speaker 4: an absolutely joy to turn up here. I didn't anticipate
- 1:00Speaker 4: in the golf today, sure, but tuning up here, coming
- 1:04Speaker 4: out onto the balcony and seeing you sprinting down the
- 1:06Speaker 4: eighteenth with a family of magpies and hot pursuit trying
- 1:10Speaker 4: to pick your eyes out. It's good to see you
- 1:13Speaker 4: as part of nature, brother, and you really took it
- 1:15Speaker 4: to them with your sand whiche. It was a thing
- 1:17Speaker 4: of true and real beauty.
- 1:19Speaker 3: Yeah. They're narie little bar sards, the old magpies, aren't they.
- 1:22Speaker 3: And I played a shot and I think I knocked
- 1:26Speaker 3: out one of their nests. Yeah, and so yeah, just
- 1:29Speaker 3: set the parents off there, Magi, and they followed me.
- 1:31Speaker 3: Really put me off my golf game. Actually, to be
- 1:33Speaker 3: honest with you, really put me off my golf game up.
- 1:36Speaker 3: But Keezy, we're in your fantastic black foils capped there
- 1:41Speaker 3: and your green golfing shirt. How's life mate.
- 1:44Speaker 5: Life's great, Hoidy Jay. We are broadcasting from Millie Way
- 1:47Speaker 5: Golf Club. It's sort of moody moody afternoon here. Yeah,
- 1:53Speaker 5: on the West Auckland coastline. It's cloudy, weave it of rain,
- 1:57Speaker 5: but the view we have got is magnificent. We've just
- 1:59Speaker 5: played ato sixteen holes because we ran out of time,
- 2:02Speaker 5: and we'll keep that in mind for next time here
- 2:04Speaker 5: at beautiful Midy Wire as well. It's been a great
- 2:06Speaker 5: day and I think you know the one thing that
- 2:09Speaker 5: would sort of cap it off for me, what's that
- 2:10Speaker 5: keasy top.
- 2:11Speaker 4: Rating drive show? Absolutely mate, of course that the day
- 2:14Speaker 4: started off you were bathed in sunshine. Of course, as
- 2:18Speaker 4: the round progressed and the shots mounted up, you brought
- 2:23Speaker 4: great shame on this golf course and that clouded over
- 2:26Speaker 4: dark clouds and looking forward to getting into all the
- 2:29Speaker 4: details of how you went.
- 2:31Speaker 5: The good thing is I did bring shame, so did Jay,
- 2:34Speaker 5: so did pretty much everyone that played here today. But
- 2:36Speaker 5: the most shame was actually brought forward by Pugsunt and
- 2:39Speaker 5: he wasn't even playing. But we will certainly get into
- 2:42Speaker 5: that next.
- 2:42Speaker 3: Yeah, I think it's I think it's a fair assessment, Maggie.
- 2:45Speaker 3: We disgraced this beautiful course today. We humiliated ourselves our prize.
- 2:50Speaker 3: When as we are sitting over here just across from us
- 2:53Speaker 3: at the moment, having a few beasies and some and
- 2:56Speaker 3: some burghers, there are a couple of handy players and
- 2:59Speaker 3: the little group there, well there was one. Now there
- 3:02Speaker 3: was one handy player, let's be honest. But yeah, a
- 3:04Speaker 3: great day. We'll have a bit of a debrief, but
- 3:06Speaker 3: let's get into the tunes. First day, but a sound garden.
- 3:09Speaker 1: Okay, the Hodarky Big Shows with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue
- 3:15Speaker 1: and Keizyes.
- 3:16Speaker 3: Indeed kingsively on there on the radio Hodarchy Big Show
- 3:20Speaker 3: this Thursday afternoon, alive from Mudaway Golf Course for the
- 3:26Speaker 3: first of our first ever round. It was a swingers club, fellas,
- 3:29Speaker 3: I just realized the Jay two.
- 3:31Speaker 4: It was a shame to miss out on it. But look,
- 3:33Speaker 4: so you guys had a ball. It was a ball, Mogi,
- 3:35Speaker 4: it was a golf ball. Mudy Way Golf Club.
- 3:38Speaker 5: It's a beautiful place to play in a bit of
- 3:40Speaker 5: beautiful place to start our Hdarky Swingers Club. The idea
- 3:42Speaker 5: behind it is we by we, I mean me and Jas.
- 3:46Speaker 5: We love our golf and so why not just use
- 3:48Speaker 5: the Big Show as an excuse to go and play
- 3:50Speaker 5: some of the nicest courses around New Zealand. So we
- 3:52Speaker 5: are keen for suggestions. If you have any suggestions three
- 3:55Speaker 5: four eight three, send them on three. We want to
- 3:56Speaker 5: travel around the country as well and really turn this
- 3:59Speaker 5: into something.
- 4:00Speaker 4: Although to be honest.
- 4:02Speaker 5: I don't really want the rest of the Hidaky Swingers
- 4:05Speaker 5: clubs to be like today's Swingers Club in terms of
- 4:09Speaker 5: our performance. Yeah sure, in terms of enjoyment of the
- 4:12Speaker 5: actual golf that was played because we had a great time.
- 4:15Speaker 4: Yeah did you?
- 4:16Speaker 3: Yeah? Yeah, we did ever think?
- 4:18Speaker 4: Yeah we had a great.
- 4:19Speaker 3: I mean mate, I'll be honest with you. Mogi front nine,
- 4:24Speaker 3: Hardy j four under par and.
- 4:27Speaker 4: We only played seven holes on the front nine.
- 4:30Speaker 3: No, seriously, it is an amazing golf course. Did you
- 4:32Speaker 3: ever get the chance to come and play out here?
- 4:34Speaker 3: Go and do it? The front The front seven played
- 4:37Speaker 3: quite solidly, no blowouts, really nice. Then we joined up
- 4:41Speaker 3: with Keysy's lot and my game fell apart. Yeah, we
- 4:44Speaker 3: just I disgraced myself. I disgraced my family. I disgraced
- 4:49Speaker 3: the golfing community. The people that run the golf course
- 4:53Speaker 3: out here wouldn't even look me in the face when
- 4:55Speaker 3: I came off the course. Probably it was that bad.
- 4:57Speaker 3: The elderly community, Yeah, the elderly community. I disgraced the
- 5:01Speaker 3: boat shirt community. Hey, this is a great golfing shirt
- 5:06Speaker 3: I've discovered. And can I just say, because we've posted
- 5:08Speaker 3: a lot of stuff on the Instagram there of houghdy
- 5:10Speaker 3: J and you know there's one there where I duffed
- 5:12Speaker 3: a couple of shots. Obviously I'm doing that for the laughs,
- 5:16Speaker 3: all right, because who wants to see houghdy J playing
- 5:19Speaker 3: his actual game where he's smacking it straight down the
- 5:23Speaker 3: guts onto the green.
- 5:24Speaker 4: A minute ago, you just said you went to garbage.
- 5:27Speaker 3: Yeah. I did, actually did a garbage in eleven from
- 5:29Speaker 3: twelve there.
- 5:29Speaker 4: If you're on the Instagram, get onto the Hodecke Big Show.
- 5:32Speaker 4: There's some great footage of houghdy j and taking seven
- 5:35Speaker 4: shots to get out of a bunker. But people have
- 5:38Speaker 4: jumped in the comments, man, because we've got such great
- 5:40Speaker 4: listeners out there and an incredible audience. They've got a
- 5:43Speaker 4: bit of advice for you, man. Oh god, do you
- 5:45Speaker 4: want to hear some of this stuff?
- 5:47Speaker 3: Sure?
- 5:47Speaker 4: Pretty good one here from Yo No Sam, get some
- 5:52Speaker 4: power in those withered legs.
- 5:54Speaker 3: Okay, yeah? Good cool?
- 5:57Speaker 4: Oh you're this one from bread All and Z. Swing
- 6:01Speaker 4: your week, prick, will you see?
- 6:05Speaker 3: I've never been in a in a what do you
- 6:08Speaker 3: call them a bunker before, so and I don't actually
- 6:10Speaker 3: have a sand wedge, so I don't actually know how
- 6:13Speaker 3: to get out of a bunko. Yeah. I did play
- 6:15Speaker 3: sex shots. Yeah, but then I was really concerned of
- 6:18Speaker 3: overheading it and flying off on the other direction.
- 6:20Speaker 4: Mate, It wasn't a concern in the air.
- 6:22Speaker 3: Wait, yeah, I should have.
- 6:23Speaker 5: What about this one from Schvinsky, open your stance then
- 6:27Speaker 5: the club face, slap it at the ground and follow through.
- 6:30Speaker 4: That's handy, that's good advice. Yeah, sure, well this one
- 6:32Speaker 4: per week.
- 6:36Speaker 5: This one here is quite good as well, from Marcus Muppet.
- 6:41Speaker 5: So people have got great advice for you, which is great.
- 6:43Speaker 3: Troy coming too, by the way, because you know, I
- 6:47Speaker 3: clearly need all the advice I could get.
- 6:49Speaker 5: What about this one here from Campbell cracking up at
- 6:52Speaker 5: how bad Jason's that golf?
- 6:54Speaker 6: Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha.
- 6:57Speaker 4: So that's that's not so much advice, that's just.
- 7:00Speaker 3: Sort of humiliating me. Yeah, yeah, you know.
- 7:02Speaker 4: Also, but this one here, and there's a couple of
- 7:03Speaker 4: people who have mentioned this, grounded the club on every
- 7:06Speaker 4: shot about ten penalty strokes. So I guess the thing
- 7:09Speaker 4: is that you have to you have to aim for
- 7:10Speaker 4: the ball, not the sand.
- 7:11Speaker 5: Is that you can you can hit the sand underneath
- 7:14Speaker 5: the ball, that's fine, but when you're lining up and
- 7:15Speaker 5: doing practice swings, if your club touches the sand.
- 7:19Speaker 4: Stroke, and when you're playing in the big leagues.
- 7:22Speaker 3: So actually, when you say it took me six shots
- 7:25Speaker 3: to get out of the bunker. It actually took me sixteen.
- 7:27Speaker 4: It was probably about sixteen.
- 7:28Speaker 5: Yeah, But to be honest, Mogie, we all played terrible.
- 7:32Speaker 4: There were eight of us playing today.
- 7:34Speaker 5: Seven of us played really badly and we still had
- 7:37Speaker 5: a great time. And that's what the Hducky Swingers Club
- 7:39Speaker 5: is all about. However, there was one situation that happened
- 7:43Speaker 5: on the back nine and I'm really gud at our
- 7:45Speaker 5: winners missed this.
- 7:47Speaker 4: It involved PUGSN And Hoidy j R.
- 7:49Speaker 5: And let's just say, if Houghdy Jay's day wasn't going
- 7:52Speaker 5: bad enough, the thing that Pugson did to him, it
- 7:55Speaker 5: really made the day about.
- 7:56Speaker 4: Ten times worse.
- 7:57Speaker 5: We're gonna bring Pugs and to explain himself because it
- 7:59Speaker 5: was an absolute.
- 8:00Speaker 4: And I don't know what's happened to her either. I'm
- 8:02Speaker 4: saving this story and it sounds like an absolute gem.
- 8:05Speaker 5: It's great and I'm stoked that Pugs aren't decided to
- 8:07Speaker 5: do it. You know, he resked it all and in
- 8:09Speaker 5: the end it's great content content.
- 8:11Speaker 4: So thank you, Pugs.
- 8:15Speaker 1: The hold Aching Big Show with Jace, Mike and Kezy.
- 8:18Speaker 1: Tune in week days at four on Radio Hodarchy.
- 8:20Speaker 3: Faith No More There on the Radio Hodarky Big Show
- 8:24Speaker 3: this Thursday afternoon at the beautiful Mudy Why golf course
- 8:29Speaker 3: out here in west Auckland.
- 8:31Speaker 4: That's right, Jase.
- 8:32Speaker 5: We're doing the first of the Hdarky Swingers Club, which
- 8:34Speaker 5: is basically an excuse for us to play some of
- 8:35Speaker 5: the nicest golf courses in New Zealand looking for suggestions
- 8:38Speaker 5: on three four eight three and we had overall a
- 8:42Speaker 5: terrible day in terms of golfing performances. We disgraced everyone,
- 8:46Speaker 5: We disgraced Hodarchy, our families.
- 8:49Speaker 4: It was an absolute shamozzle.
- 8:50Speaker 5: However, no one disgraced themselves more than Pugs an our
- 8:54Speaker 5: fantastic producer who to be honests, made all of this possible.
- 8:57Speaker 5: He's spent the whole day setting things up, getting things
- 8:59Speaker 5: running mooth, yet still found time to come over and
- 9:04Speaker 5: well at professional Pugs are welcome to the show man.
- 9:06Speaker 2: How are you, hey man, I'm good, Thank you, Yeah,
- 9:08Speaker 2: thanks for having me out with you guys golfing today
- 9:10Speaker 2: is my first time golfing.
- 9:11Speaker 4: Yeah, okay, So you know there's a lot.
- 9:13Speaker 2: About golfing that I'm not really too familiar with, driving carts.
- 9:17Speaker 4: Heading the balls, things like that. You know. That's right.
- 9:20Speaker 3: Let me set the scene for you movie. Thank you
- 9:23Speaker 3: so hoodie Jay. I've been going on pretty solidly. And
- 9:26Speaker 3: then on the back nine, as previously mentioned, shat the bed.
- 9:30Speaker 4: Well, it was a bed on the back night.
- 9:32Speaker 3: It's the closest I've ever come so far to throw it,
- 9:36Speaker 3: heaving my clubs into the ocean. I was ifing and
- 9:39Speaker 3: jeffer and like a basket. And the really good thing
- 9:41Speaker 3: about it was we managed to catch that real capitulation
- 9:44Speaker 3: of mine on social media and then post it. So
- 9:48Speaker 3: I was really stoked about that. So I'm ifing and
- 9:50Speaker 3: Jeff and finally Mogi. I think it was on the
- 9:52Speaker 3: fourteenth hole. I played a lovely shot. Of course that
- 9:55Speaker 3: wasn't caught on camera.
- 9:57Speaker 4: If it was, it wouldn't have gone on.
- 9:58Speaker 3: Soo yeah, exactly. So I get to this whole, I go, geez,
- 10:04Speaker 3: that was a cracking shot.
- 10:05Speaker 4: It actually was a great shot.
- 10:07Speaker 3: And then Pugsn and Isaaca and a buggy there they
- 10:12Speaker 3: pull up to Hoidy jh right, they pulled right up
- 10:15Speaker 3: to Hoidy j Mogi and they didn't just run over
- 10:19Speaker 3: my foot. Pugsn drove the buggy onto my foot and
- 10:26Speaker 3: the whole weight of the buggy and all the guys
- 10:28Speaker 3: in the buggy was on my right foot and I'm
- 10:30Speaker 3: going patsan pugs and he was just sort of looking
- 10:36Speaker 3: at me and smiling without realizing that his he had
- 10:39Speaker 3: driven onto my foot and part there so I literally
- 10:43Speaker 3: couldn't move my foot. Yeah, and he was just looking
- 10:47Speaker 3: at me smiling, going what's going on? What's going on?
- 10:50Speaker 3: And I'm like you, I can't say what I said.
- 10:54Speaker 3: You're on my foot, pugsn And then he freaked out
- 10:58Speaker 3: at about fifteen seconds later backed off my Sure.
- 11:03Speaker 2: Can I just say I have never been more sorry
- 11:07Speaker 2: to you in my life. It looked deliberate from where
- 11:10Speaker 2: I was, Well, this is the thing. Now, Isaac and
- 11:15Speaker 2: I were driving that golf cart.
- 11:16Speaker 4: And both of you are holding the wheel. I had nothing.
- 11:22Speaker 4: I drove the cart onto.
- 11:24Speaker 2: Let me just put that out there into the ether
- 11:25Speaker 2: for everybody. But I just want to be clear that
- 11:27Speaker 2: it was Isaac and I and the cart. Now, no
- 11:30Speaker 2: disrespect to Isaac. We talked about this in the way,
- 11:32Speaker 2: but we're probably the biggest dudes in the crew.
- 11:34Speaker 3: Right.
- 11:34Speaker 2: Were both had the same golf cart and I drove
- 11:38Speaker 2: forward and.
- 11:38Speaker 4: I had zero spatial awareness. You also made a comment
- 11:41Speaker 4: after Chris.
- 11:42Speaker 5: Well, So we started the day and Pug said, and
- 11:43Speaker 5: I was sharing a buggy. He was driving, and then
- 11:45Speaker 5: quickly I swapped to driving right because I felt like
- 11:48Speaker 5: we were going to clip so many things.
- 11:49Speaker 4: I don't think he was aware of it. I thought
- 11:51Speaker 4: you were just excited to drive. How do you go
- 11:53Speaker 4: in the city where things are actually close? I mean,
- 11:55Speaker 4: you're dealing with pretty wide expenses out here on a
- 11:57Speaker 4: golf course. Yes, So that's why I was confused. And
- 12:00Speaker 4: I'll tell you what this. This reeks of not been
- 12:03Speaker 4: an accident, doesn't. I mean, given the tension that's been
- 12:05Speaker 4: in the studio between the two of you, particularly over
- 12:07Speaker 4: these last few days and weeks, you have actually said
- 12:11Speaker 4: that you're going to beat each other up. There's all
- 12:13Speaker 4: been all kinds of threats of credit. So here we
- 12:17Speaker 4: are and old pugsuns crashing into.
- 12:19Speaker 3: Witty Jay And can I can I just say elderly
- 12:22Speaker 3: yea falling apart golfer, And can I just say it
- 12:26Speaker 3: was the smile that I found disconcerted smiling at me.
- 12:29Speaker 3: But wait, and I just want to reiterate. He didn't
- 12:32Speaker 3: drive over my fat He parked on my foot and
- 12:36Speaker 3: took about thirty seconds to get gone.
- 12:39Speaker 2: I do feel like it was one of those scenarios
- 12:41Speaker 2: where time definitely would have slowed down having the golf
- 12:43Speaker 2: cart on you.
- 12:43Speaker 4: Yeah, yeah, now, I I one hundred percent.
- 12:47Speaker 2: I thought I had like a foot behind you, and
- 12:49Speaker 2: then when you initially reacted, I thought you were taking
- 12:52Speaker 2: the purse.
- 12:52Speaker 4: Well, that's the problem is that we came here.
- 12:55Speaker 3: Yeah, you know, Can I just make the point too?
- 12:57Speaker 3: On the fourth hole, I rapped one of my testicles. Yeah.
- 13:00Speaker 3: On the ninth hole, my bloody hip had given out.
- 13:04Speaker 3: On the eleventh hole, my shoulder was giving way. And
- 13:07Speaker 3: then bloody Pugsn on the fourteenth runs over and parks
- 13:10Speaker 3: on my foot.
- 13:11Speaker 4: Right, So it's not like you didn't need damage to
- 13:13Speaker 4: anything that was pristine or anything like that. I mean,
- 13:15Speaker 4: it's an old heap of shit, so it could have
- 13:17Speaker 4: been worse. But I would say that in terms of
- 13:20Speaker 4: a defense for Pugsan, I don't think he. I don't
- 13:23Speaker 4: think he possesses the driving skill to be able to
- 13:26Speaker 4: park on your foot at will. Do you know what
- 13:28Speaker 4: I mean? Sure it could only be an accident. Yeah,
- 13:32Speaker 4: there's no way you guys have seen me parking before.
- 13:34Speaker 2: It was one of the first things you ever learnt
- 13:35Speaker 2: about me was that I'm a bit of a shocker.
- 13:38Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 13:38Speaker 5: Can I just say, if you are driving a buggy
- 13:41Speaker 5: and you're on a golf course and Hoidy j is
- 13:42Speaker 5: there targeting the legs, which is universally everyone knows that
- 13:47Speaker 5: they are with it, and you targeted them, You used
- 13:49Speaker 5: them like a ramp.
- 13:50Speaker 4: You parked. I turned around. He was screaming at you.
- 13:53Speaker 4: You didn't know how to put it into reverse.
- 13:55Speaker 2: I felt so bad and so literally, like after the
- 13:58Speaker 2: fifteen to thirty seconds was over, Isaac and I got
- 14:00Speaker 2: out of the buggy and we were like superhuman strengthening
- 14:03Speaker 2: off your foot so you can get it.
- 14:04Speaker 6: Yeah, well you had to pick it up, and I
- 14:08Speaker 6: thought they would.
- 14:08Speaker 2: Take too much time, and so I just got out
- 14:10Speaker 2: and pulled the thing over.
- 14:12Speaker 4: Well, I think all we need now, Pugs is just
- 14:15Speaker 4: an apology to Horty Joe.
- 14:16Speaker 2: That was how I started this conversation. But Jason, as
- 14:18Speaker 2: I say, I've never been more sorry to you. I'm
- 14:20Speaker 2: still I'm exhausted with gelt. Since then, I didn't drive
- 14:23Speaker 2: the cart for the rest of the day.
- 14:25Speaker 4: Isaac. Oh, that's what drove me back as well. Because
- 14:27Speaker 4: I felt terrible because I thought as soon as I
- 14:30Speaker 4: turned up here and I saw you, I thought, I said, Pugs,
- 14:32Speaker 4: what's going on?
- 14:32Speaker 3: Mate?
- 14:33Speaker 4: You are positively glowing.
- 14:36Speaker 1: The Hdarchy Big Show week days from four on Radio hodark.
- 14:40Speaker 3: Is indeed Pink Floyd there on the Radio Hodarky Big
- 14:44Speaker 3: Show this Thursday evening. Now plenty coming up after five o'clock,
- 14:48Speaker 3: including a controversial revisit of a debacle that happened on
- 14:52Speaker 3: the show. You said, oh, well, to be fair, actually,
- 14:54Speaker 3: Mogi and I thought it was one of the best
- 14:56Speaker 3: things we've ever done, and Keesy thinks it's the worst
- 14:59Speaker 3: radio he's We've done very sort of different views on
- 15:03Speaker 3: the same particular segment we did yesterday.
- 15:05Speaker 4: And we haven't received any complaints about it. It was
- 15:08Speaker 4: one of our very popular improvs as we sort of
- 15:13Speaker 4: take Keysy through his paces and upskill them with the
- 15:15Speaker 4: acting and everything like that. And I thought he did
- 15:17Speaker 4: a bloody good job. I thought it was his best work,
- 15:19Speaker 4: thank you.
- 15:20Speaker 3: It was most real for sure.
- 15:22Speaker 4: Mogie, well, hang on, it was just this is the issue.
- 15:24Speaker 5: It's in case you're wondering if you were listening yesterday
- 15:26Speaker 5: just after five o'clock, it was shower wheeze, And it
- 15:29Speaker 5: was basically an improv scene where I was doing wheeze
- 15:32Speaker 5: in the shower or something along those lines, and I
- 15:34Speaker 5: wasn't acting. All I was doing is going ah whilst
- 15:37Speaker 5: playing sound effects.
- 15:38Speaker 3: And you did it so realistically. That's what I mean.
- 15:41Speaker 3: That's that's the first time, in terms of us doing
- 15:43Speaker 3: the improv that I've actually bought your performance really. Yeah,
- 15:46Speaker 3: it seemed the most real to me because.
- 15:48Speaker 4: I thought I'd been getting better at it well. And
- 15:51Speaker 4: oftentimes that's the case. You think you're going well and
- 15:54Speaker 4: the director will tell you you've got a lot of
- 15:56Speaker 4: sharpening up to do, and then you think you've gone
- 15:58Speaker 4: terribly and in fact that's when you've done your best
- 15:59Speaker 4: work right okay. And when you don't have a lot
- 16:01Speaker 4: of experience, you're probably the worst judge of whether you've
- 16:03Speaker 4: done a good job or not. Okay.
- 16:05Speaker 5: Yeah, I came away from it feeling extremely embarrassing and shame.
- 16:09Speaker 4: That's often how you feel when you've done good work
- 16:11Speaker 4: right okay.
- 16:13Speaker 3: Then Also, some of you, some of our listeners out there,
- 16:17Speaker 3: will be familiar with a podcast called The Agenda. It's
- 16:21Speaker 3: a podcast a podcast called The Agenda, which is a
- 16:25Speaker 3: sort of sports sort of Lames sports sort of podcast,
- 16:29Speaker 3: and apparently they've been having a bit of a go
- 16:31Speaker 3: at us on their podcast, So are we going to
- 16:33Speaker 3: respond in kind after five o'clock that and so much
- 16:37Speaker 3: other stuff coming up.
- 16:41Speaker 1: The whole ching Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy
- 16:44Speaker 1: tune in week days at four on Radio.
- 16:46Speaker 4: Hold Ikey, you're.
- 16:47Speaker 3: Welcome back your massive backbones. Hope you have Thursdays going
- 16:50Speaker 3: along very nicely. Indeed, you're listening to the Big Show
- 16:53Speaker 3: brought to you by Tilly.
- 16:59Speaker 5: Hey, oh, ja's just quickly. Oh yes, have you guys
- 17:03Speaker 5: seen the tooy billboards are back?
- 17:05Speaker 4: Oh yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 17:06Speaker 5: So you'll be driving along and then you look off
- 17:08Speaker 5: to the side you see like a flash of black
- 17:10Speaker 5: with white riding with like orange toy branding.
- 17:12Speaker 3: Oh yeah yeah.
- 17:13Speaker 5: It'll quite often say something quite humorous, for example, what,
- 17:16Speaker 5: oh you know, like, oh, pugsn didn't run over Hoidy
- 17:22Speaker 5: Joe intentionally in a golf cart.
- 17:23Speaker 3: Yeah right, yeah, yeah, and there is it's been any
- 17:27Speaker 3: the throb a bit. Actually, I'll be honest with you.
- 17:29Speaker 5: Maybe that's the thing for tomorrow's Throbert.
- 17:32Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, Well actually someone made the comment
- 17:35Speaker 3: because I don't know if you recall this, Fellows back
- 17:37Speaker 3: in the day, we discovered that old Pugsun actually does
- 17:40Speaker 3: have a bit of a foot fetish, and he was
- 17:43Speaker 3: very keen for me to whip the old shoe and
- 17:45Speaker 3: sock off there and have a bit of a feel there.
- 17:49Speaker 4: He said he was something about swelling.
- 17:50Speaker 3: Yeah, something something was swelling and he needed to have
- 17:53Speaker 3: a look at it. So I'm just beginning to wonder
- 17:56Speaker 3: if there was some sort of sexual current, kind of
- 17:59Speaker 3: orient take one hundred percent, you know to him running
- 18:02Speaker 3: me over.
- 18:03Speaker 5: Well, we've actually got a bit of a rule where
- 18:05Speaker 5: you're not allowed to have open toad sandals around punks, aren't,
- 18:09Speaker 5: So one hundred percent that's probably something that did happen,
- 18:11Speaker 5: Hoidy Jane. We should have actually thought about that. Yeah,
- 18:13Speaker 5: it was intentional.
- 18:14Speaker 3: Hey, now listen coming up next after this next couple
- 18:17Speaker 3: of songs, we had a bit of a well Keesy
- 18:20Speaker 3: thought it was an aberration yesterday on the radio show
- 18:23Speaker 3: Mogi and I thought it was fantastic right there. So
- 18:25Speaker 3: we're going to do a bit of a replay and
- 18:27Speaker 3: we want to get your view on it.
- 18:29Speaker 5: Yeah, it's a big show. Improv shower weeze. Was it
- 18:33Speaker 5: good radio or was it absolutely terrible? We'll revisit that soon.
- 18:37Speaker 3: In the meantime, he's very fighters the.
- 18:39Speaker 1: Whole Archy Big Shows with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue and Keezy.
- 18:44Speaker 3: Yes, indeed the white stripes here on the radio Hodarchy
- 18:46Speaker 3: Big Show this Thursday afternoon. The time is eleven minutes
- 18:50Speaker 3: past five o'clock. Now. Yesterday we had a regular feature
- 18:54Speaker 3: on the Big Show, and that is Big Show Improv.
- 18:57Speaker 3: And the scenario that we set up for the particular
- 19:00Speaker 3: improv was Keezy doing wheeze in the shower. Magi, that's right.
- 19:05Speaker 4: That was off the back of we're running a big
- 19:07Speaker 4: poll wei in in the shower, Yes or no?
- 19:10Speaker 3: Yes.
- 19:10Speaker 4: The numbers came back on that ninety the years ten
- 19:12Speaker 4: to know. Kesey's wife was revealed despises the idea of
- 19:17Speaker 4: him urinating the shower, and he's running scared. He doesn't
- 19:20Speaker 4: even risk it just in case it would offend her.
- 19:23Speaker 4: And so we thought, well, let's address this, Let's address
- 19:27Speaker 4: it in an improv, and we did.
- 19:28Speaker 5: Yeah, but the problem was successfully the idea of an
- 19:31Speaker 5: improv is that obviously things are flying at you, thick
- 19:34Speaker 5: and fast, right, you're reacting it live. However, you guys
- 19:36Speaker 5: decided about thirty seconds before we went on here that
- 19:39Speaker 5: it was going to be me doing wheeze in the
- 19:42Speaker 5: shower whilst farting constantly. And look, it was some of
- 19:47Speaker 5: the worst radio I've certainly ever been involved with.
- 19:51Speaker 4: I Keezy, you did the night show for years, Mike,
- 19:57Speaker 4: don't laugh at that. The night show was. It was
- 20:00Speaker 4: a great quality radio.
- 20:02Speaker 5: All right, we'll here, okay, all right, New Zealand, New Zealand,
- 20:05Speaker 5: make your mind up, all right? Text us on three
- 20:07Speaker 5: four eight three. Here is a replay of shower Wize improv.
- 20:11Speaker 5: Was this good radio?
- 20:12Speaker 4: Or was an absolutely terrible Oh? Thank goodness, it's been
- 20:16Speaker 4: such a hard day. Right, Okay, I'm just gonna take
- 20:21Speaker 4: the old.
- 20:24Speaker 5: Right usually on the radio, Chase, I'm just gonna she's
- 20:28Speaker 5: gonna take my pants off.
- 20:30Speaker 4: There, nice, get the whole out right. She's gonna open
- 20:36Speaker 4: the door of the shower.
- 20:40Speaker 3: Just Keezy is about to step into the shower. His
- 20:48Speaker 3: beloved partner walks into the bathroom.
- 20:52Speaker 4: I'll be begging a minute. Oh what was that, babe?
- 21:02Speaker 3: What he?
- 21:03Speaker 4: What have I told you about that?
- 21:04Speaker 5: Well, it's just it's been such a long day.
- 21:09Speaker 4: It's been such a long day. It's disgusting. How many
- 21:12Speaker 4: times have I told you?
- 21:13Speaker 5: Well, it's just I know, that's just how I'm here.
- 21:17Speaker 5: There's water running. How do you look at yourself in
- 21:19Speaker 5: the mirror. I can't see myself in the mirror. It's
- 21:22Speaker 5: behind me, so I don't have to worry about that.
- 21:24Speaker 3: But that's not all that's going on for ol keezy.
- 21:28Speaker 4: Ah ah ah Are you kidding me? What did you just?
- 21:42Speaker 4: What did you just rip ass?
- 21:44Speaker 2: No?
- 21:45Speaker 4: I just I can't help it when I start going.
- 21:46Speaker 4: It's just what happens.
- 21:47Speaker 3: And it certainly doesn't mean there doesn't.
- 21:53Speaker 4: Oh my god, can you leave? Can you sleep? It's
- 21:58Speaker 4: just can you leave? Can you please leave? That is disgusting,
- 22:01Speaker 4: your passing wind and doing week. How many times have
- 22:04Speaker 4: I spoken to you about this?
- 22:05Speaker 3: Chris?
- 22:06Speaker 5: I'm well aware of what's happening. Or I'm well aware
- 22:08Speaker 5: of what's happening. I've done it before.
- 22:18Speaker 4: I'm honestly, I don't even look at you right now.
- 22:25Speaker 4: And it's not only because of your burnt meat, petty nips.
- 22:37Speaker 4: If you're going to urinate in the share, Chris, could
- 22:40Speaker 4: you at least turn the shore on Banks Babe, so.
- 23:06Speaker 5: Jesus Craig would laugh to hear at the Boody Way
- 23:09Speaker 5: Golf Club.
- 23:10Speaker 3: Oh God, New Zealand.
- 23:13Speaker 4: Was that the worst radio you've ever heard?
- 23:15Speaker 5: Please let us know on three four eight three, and
- 23:17Speaker 5: please be in favor of me everyone that takes through
- 23:19Speaker 5: in the draw for a toy price back.
- 23:21Speaker 4: I just spared it. Here's Tom Pittich the Hodarchy.
- 23:27Speaker 1: Big Show with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue and Kisey.
- 23:31Speaker 3: Yes, indeed Nirvana there on the radio Hold Archy Big
- 23:35Speaker 3: Show this Thursday evening live from the beautiful and scenic
- 23:40Speaker 3: Mudawai Golf Course out here in west Auckland. Now, on
- 23:44Speaker 3: the previous voice break, we played a very controversial replay
- 23:49Speaker 3: I guess of yesterday's improv and we asked the question
- 23:52Speaker 3: of the punters out there, was this the greatest radio
- 23:55Speaker 3: we've ever created or the worst mogi?
- 23:57Speaker 4: That's right? And the content not to bang on about
- 24:00Speaker 4: a bit involved urinating in a shower and flatcher flatulence
- 24:05Speaker 4: from Kezy.
- 24:05Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 24:06Speaker 4: So you know, the question is, you know, is that
- 24:08Speaker 4: kind of toilet humor? Is that up to the standard
- 24:11Speaker 4: of the Big Show or is it beneath us? And
- 24:13Speaker 4: so we've gone to the text machine. The audience have
- 24:16Speaker 4: come back to us keezy on three four eight three.
- 24:18Speaker 5: What do they say, Well, it's interesting because it's completely
- 24:21Speaker 5: split perfectly down the middle. Yeah, all right, so three
- 24:25Speaker 5: four eight three. By the way, everyone the text threw
- 24:26Speaker 5: in the drawer for some tooy prize packs.
- 24:29Speaker 4: Yeah.
- 24:30Speaker 5: Worst radio I've ever heard in my missus listens to
- 24:32Speaker 5: jonaan ben.
- 24:36Speaker 4: Where in the next text that.
- 24:37Speaker 5: Was award winning radio cusping on the verge of one
- 24:40Speaker 5: of the greatest moments in New Zealand broadcasting.
- 24:42Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, I agree with that.
- 24:44Speaker 5: I would disagree with that. Best radio ever. Fellers such
- 24:47Speaker 5: great fart noises. Couldn't do them better myself. That's good
- 24:50Speaker 5: eating boys. Worst radio ever, but in such.
- 24:53Speaker 3: A good way.
- 24:54Speaker 4: Keep it up.
- 24:54Speaker 3: Yeah yeah, Look. The only criticism I have, if I
- 24:58Speaker 3: have any, is we needed more wind.
- 25:01Speaker 4: I agree, you know what I mean.
- 25:02Speaker 3: If there had to be more wind, that would have
- 25:04Speaker 3: really nailed at home, right. Yeah.
- 25:06Speaker 5: It was the like, okay, not enough wind. I want
- 25:09Speaker 5: to rip my ears off, but I need them for
- 25:11Speaker 5: my glasses. Worst ever, that was one hundred percent prime
- 25:17Speaker 5: beef radio keasy.
- 25:19Speaker 4: Best part was the fart noises It's.
- 25:20Speaker 5: Amazing demographic, really is You know, there's obviously two sides
- 25:23Speaker 5: of it, yes, and.
- 25:25Speaker 4: One side really did love it a lot. One person
- 25:28Speaker 4: just sent through.
- 25:28Speaker 5: Here ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha.
- 25:34Speaker 4: Ha absolute filth. Terrible radio you dogs sounds like yes,
- 25:42Speaker 4: she yes.
- 25:43Speaker 5: Easily the worst awful radio. Keezy needs an Oscar for that.
- 25:48Speaker 5: So I think you see.
- 25:50Speaker 3: Even the ones in a sort of disparaging I kind
- 25:52Speaker 3: of get the vite there. You know what I'm saying.
- 25:54Speaker 5: I agree, But what I don't want to do is
- 25:56Speaker 5: I think we should not do content that splits the
- 25:59Speaker 5: audience down the middle.
- 26:00Speaker 3: You know, how does it feel split to me? Well?
- 26:02Speaker 4: It is, that's right. I mean it might be split
- 26:04Speaker 4: here on the text machine, you're going to get people
- 26:06Speaker 4: that are pretty passionate about it. But I think the
- 26:07Speaker 4: only proper way to do it as we go to
- 26:09Speaker 4: the Big Pole. Sure, we're going to run this on
- 26:12Speaker 4: the Big Pole. You can have your vote there and
- 26:14Speaker 4: it's going to be another binding referendum, is if over
- 26:18Speaker 4: fifty cent of people like it, we're going hard on.
- 26:21Speaker 3: We're not going hard.
- 26:23Speaker 5: You can vote on the Big Poe, the Big Pole,
- 26:25Speaker 5: Houdarky Big show on the Instagram story there.
- 26:29Speaker 4: I still feel terrible about this whole thing. That's great.
- 26:31Speaker 1: Easy The Hdarchy Big Show weekdays from four on Radio hod.
- 26:36Speaker 3: Ik Chemical Brothers there on the Radio Hodarky Big Show
- 26:40Speaker 3: this Thursday evening.
- 26:41Speaker 4: Yeah. Boys, as you know, I'm in the final stage
- 26:45Speaker 4: of getting treated for R and V. Are you going?
- 26:47Speaker 4: I'm pretty excited about it.
- 26:48Speaker 3: You're looking so good, Maggie. I know I say that
- 26:51Speaker 3: a lot, but seriously, man.
- 26:53Speaker 4: Every day you say it leads the world to me.
- 26:55Speaker 4: So anyway, I did a little bit of a bulk
- 26:57Speaker 4: just to keep me occupied through the winter months. You know,
- 26:59Speaker 4: I got it to ninety five kilos. I waited in
- 27:01Speaker 4: last Wednesday, and today I've done another way in and
- 27:05Speaker 4: I've come in at ninety one point one. Well, so
- 27:11Speaker 4: that's after a week seven days. Wow, I've lost three
- 27:15Speaker 4: point nine kilos.
- 27:16Speaker 3: Oh yeah, that's pretty good man.
- 27:17Speaker 4: That's not baggun, is it. That's good. I don't know
- 27:19Speaker 4: what percentage of that is muscle, but probably eighty percent
- 27:22Speaker 4: of it, which is great. I'm trying to lose only fat,
- 27:24Speaker 4: but only today I've I've been eating like an absolute animal, sure,
- 27:29Speaker 4: but only once I got out here. Yes, and my
- 27:32Speaker 4: guts at the moment are absolutely given it to me.
- 27:35Speaker 4: You will have noticed that I've fluctuated between sitting and
- 27:38Speaker 4: standing over the course of the show today. I have
- 27:41Speaker 4: noticed that, and that's says I try and work this
- 27:44Speaker 4: huge amount of feud for through first my small and
- 27:47Speaker 4: testine and then my large and testine, and possibly the
- 27:49Speaker 4: other way around. Today, since I've got here, I've had
- 27:52Speaker 4: fifteen almonds. Oh, almonds, Yeah, almonds, almonds. What do you say,
- 27:59Speaker 4: al almonds almened olmonds, yeah, one banana, banana, Yeah, that's right.
- 28:08Speaker 4: I've had one sandwich that was out here. It's one
- 28:11Speaker 4: that you get from a servo. I had a Plowman's.
- 28:13Speaker 4: It's sort of one of those ones that's cut into
- 28:15Speaker 4: a triangle. It's a triple layered. Was it a club?
- 28:18Speaker 4: It was a club, yeah.
- 28:20Speaker 3: Club, said loves me a club sandwich a club.
- 28:22Speaker 4: Big bastard there. I also had a hamburgers made out
- 28:25Speaker 4: here at the Mudaway Golf called bloody Beautiful.
- 28:27Speaker 3: It was magnificent hamburger.
- 28:29Speaker 4: And then I had that bowl of chips.
- 28:31Speaker 3: Yes.
- 28:32Speaker 4: So that's quite a lot to be absorbing. And it
- 28:35Speaker 4: was in the space of about forty minutes. Yeah, and
- 28:40Speaker 4: I'm a little bit concerned about the calories that I'm
- 28:42Speaker 4: taking in, but also what's going to happen when I
- 28:44Speaker 4: get home tonight.
- 28:45Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, you know what I mean. One of the
- 28:47Speaker 3: things that I've noticed about you over the years is
- 28:49Speaker 3: you're not a slow eater. No, I mean you really
- 28:52Speaker 3: shovel that stuff down your gob you know. For example,
- 28:56Speaker 3: the hamburgers, a big hearty hamburger. You got here mode
- 29:00Speaker 3: through it and I kid you not in a minute yep,
- 29:04Speaker 3: it was gone.
- 29:05Speaker 4: Well I think it shows respect to the chef, absolutely, Yeah,
- 29:08Speaker 4: So I try and get it in me, get it
- 29:10Speaker 4: in me, Yeah, fast as I possibly can. Good it is,
- 29:13Speaker 4: and it bloody was as well. You have like a
- 29:16Speaker 4: weight in mind, probably about eighty eight, right eighty eight,
- 29:20Speaker 4: and then you'll be sure at fighting weight keysy, I'll
- 29:22Speaker 4: be punching on at R and V after that.
- 29:24Speaker 3: Yeah, good stuff mate. So you think after this afternoon,
- 29:28Speaker 3: maybe you've gone from a ninety one point one to
- 29:30Speaker 3: maybe a ninety seven.
- 29:31Speaker 4: I think I've probably gone up a couple of kilos there,
- 29:33Speaker 4: but I don't know what lives. So there's something about
- 29:35Speaker 4: the addict in me where if there's free food going
- 29:38Speaker 4: around or booze or cigarette.
- 29:40Speaker 5: I'm in one hundred percent and that, to be fair,
- 29:43Speaker 5: that doesn't happen in life very often. So when it
- 29:45Speaker 5: does happen, you should be all in.
- 29:47Speaker 3: Yeah, and I am.
- 29:48Speaker 4: It's like you Jo's when we're in the studio there
- 29:50Speaker 4: and the chips come out or anything like that. When
- 29:52Speaker 4: you say chips come out, you mean here he goes
- 29:53Speaker 4: and gets them from I was going to say, yeah,
- 29:55Speaker 4: I mean there's a cupboard and it's got a whole
- 29:57Speaker 4: lot of signs there that says do not eat. These
- 29:59Speaker 4: are for our winners, and Jays just takes that sign,
- 30:02Speaker 4: throws it on the floor and then rips it to
- 30:04Speaker 4: the chips.
- 30:04Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 30:05Speaker 4: Yeah, well urinated on it as well on the sign.
- 30:07Speaker 3: Yeah, so good.
- 30:10Speaker 1: Hurdarchy Big Show with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue and.
- 30:14Speaker 3: Kissy Oasis there on the radio hold Archy Big Show
- 30:18Speaker 3: this Thursday evening. And I understand Fellows, though I haven't
- 30:21Speaker 3: heard it myself that there's been a bit of controversy
- 30:24Speaker 3: towards the Big Show from the Agenda of the Fellows
- 30:27Speaker 3: on the Agenda podcast, which is a sort of lame
- 30:30Speaker 3: mass kind of acc acc sort of sport podcast. I
- 30:34Speaker 3: think it happens daily. Why they do it daily, I've
- 30:37Speaker 3: got no idea once a week would be plenty.
- 30:39Speaker 4: Yeah, that's right there, one back to back sports podcast
- 30:43Speaker 4: of the year. But I mean, as we know, you know,
- 30:46Speaker 4: awards me nothing totally. We have won none until we
- 30:49Speaker 4: win also being nominated for none. Yeah. So yeah. I
- 30:52Speaker 4: was listening to it on the drive out here to
- 30:55Speaker 4: Middleway Golf Club and I was shot. I nearly drove
- 30:58Speaker 4: off the road. Yeah, because I can of them to
- 31:01Speaker 4: be kin I consider them to be far though, and
- 31:04Speaker 4: to hear them just openly accusing us pointing the finger,
- 31:10Speaker 4: I was offended and disgusted. Sure, sure, let's have a listen.
- 31:14Speaker 7: Talking about it off here, let's start the podcast with it.
- 31:16Speaker 7: Our headphones get taken every single fund, every day, every day,
- 31:19Speaker 7: and that is because the book show covin here and
- 31:22Speaker 7: record their show.
- 31:23Speaker 2: And they what they did is they come and record
- 31:25Speaker 2: their outro before their show in here and then just
- 31:29Speaker 2: walk out with the headphones and any other job.
- 31:31Speaker 7: If you're a builder and you don't have a hammer,
- 31:33Speaker 7: what you do not do is take another man's hammer.
- 31:35Speaker 4: I'm smelling some sort of revenge here. I'm sick.
- 31:37Speaker 2: Of it, put something in the headphones that gives them
- 31:40Speaker 2: ear cancer better.
- 31:42Speaker 7: Yet, I think it needs to be more immediate. Air
- 31:43Speaker 7: cancer is going to be a long play.
- 31:46Speaker 4: Do you see what I'm saying?
- 31:47Speaker 3: That is utter bullshit?
- 31:50Speaker 4: Bullshit. We don't do that. And you know the fact
- 31:53Speaker 4: that they're saying that it's been going on forever and
- 31:57Speaker 4: at no point have they ever grabbed them and come
- 32:00Speaker 4: up to us and spoken it to us about it?
- 32:02Speaker 3: Yes, yeah, that doesn't surprise me.
- 32:05Speaker 4: At any point, we could point out that we each
- 32:07Speaker 4: have our own headphones which we keep in a secure
- 32:11Speaker 4: location and we never touch those acc ones other than
- 32:15Speaker 4: to borrow them. We very kind they very kindly let
- 32:17Speaker 4: us use this studio. Very grateful for that. But I
- 32:19Speaker 4: mean it's a kick in the gat.
- 32:21Speaker 5: Can I just say that probably what a year and
- 32:25Speaker 5: a half ago, Jace, you might have been guilty of
- 32:28Speaker 5: borrowing some of the headphones.
- 32:29Speaker 4: You were shocking, man, You was shocking until we.
- 32:32Speaker 5: Sat down with our head of radio Hodak. We had
- 32:34Speaker 5: a meeting and we said, can we just have our
- 32:36Speaker 5: own headphones please?
- 32:37Speaker 4: It's surprising and how many meetings you have to get
- 32:39Speaker 4: at a radio station to get your own headphones all right.
- 32:42Speaker 5: We had all seven of them and one zoom meeting
- 32:44Speaker 5: and we've got our own headphones now. And can I
- 32:47Speaker 5: just say, man, I ast you at g Lane. That
- 32:49Speaker 5: is just for them to throw shit out there like that.
- 32:51Speaker 5: It just goes to show what a low grade, subpar
- 32:54Speaker 5: product they are actually making.
- 32:55Speaker 3: You know, you know what I want to say to
- 32:57Speaker 3: those those guys, say it tim face, lame, Yeah, Mana
- 33:01Speaker 3: Stewart say it to my face, pal, Yeah, and then
- 33:06Speaker 3: we'll see who comes out on top. All right, you
- 33:09Speaker 3: lames sport, bloody podcast, crappy nonsense.
- 33:13Speaker 4: Yeah, you could have finished a bit strong.
- 33:16Speaker 3: Yeah, so I sort of run of yeah, expletives and stuff.
- 33:20Speaker 3: I'm tired. It's been a long day played eating holes
- 33:23Speaker 3: of gold. For God's sake.
- 33:27Speaker 1: Hold akee Big Show with Jason, Mike and Kezy tune
- 33:30Speaker 1: in week days and four on radio.
- 33:32Speaker 3: Hold I can how are you going, your messive backbones?
- 33:34Speaker 3: You're listening to the Big Show brought to you by
- 33:36Speaker 3: two Get it on you. We thought of you, thought
- 33:40Speaker 3: of a great two E billboard just before Mogi. Oh
- 33:44Speaker 3: it's an absolute killer?
- 33:46Speaker 4: Was it? I can't remember what was it? It must
- 33:48Speaker 4: have been that good dude, I feel insane that man. Yeah,
- 33:53Speaker 4: it was what was it old? Oh that's right, Yeah,
- 33:58Speaker 4: Kezy was wearing his winning.
- 34:02Speaker 3: You're right, and that's.
- 34:07Speaker 4: That's obviously off the back of me being unfaithful to
- 34:10Speaker 4: my wife. Yeah, that's right.
- 34:11Speaker 3: Yeah, But I just want to make the point here actually,
- 34:13Speaker 3: because I think it's really important to it. You're a
- 34:15Speaker 3: good looking fella, Keezy. How high are you? How tall
- 34:21Speaker 3: are you? Men?
- 34:23Speaker 4: Six two and three quarters?
- 34:24Speaker 3: Yeah? Six two? You know you've got a quarters and.
- 34:26Speaker 4: How way are you? Ninety one?
- 34:30Speaker 3: You're in good shape apart from them boot meat petties.
- 34:32Speaker 4: What's wrong?
- 34:33Speaker 3: You've got you know, a kind of ten kind of
- 34:35Speaker 3: complexion part. You know, you're you're a bit goofy, You're
- 34:40Speaker 3: a bit funny. I can totally see why you were
- 34:43Speaker 3: constantly inundated with people wanting to sort of have drinks
- 34:47Speaker 3: with you and go out with you.
- 34:48Speaker 5: Yeah, Jace Mogi as well, But I feel like Jace
- 34:51Speaker 5: really does have an opinion on this.
- 34:52Speaker 4: He does. Do you think I can do better? Man?
- 34:54Speaker 4: Is that what you're saying?
- 34:55Speaker 5: Oh?
- 34:55Speaker 3: No, certainly you can't do better. But you know, you
- 34:58Speaker 3: come in every day talking about about how you've been
- 35:00Speaker 3: approached at various place every day. And I can totally
- 35:05Speaker 3: relate to that because you're a good looking, goofy looking fellow.
- 35:08Speaker 4: Why do you always have to add goofy?
- 35:10Speaker 3: Well, just because I just think it's accurate. You'd agree
- 35:12Speaker 3: with me. Maybe he's a good looking fellow.
- 35:14Speaker 4: He is, man, I mean, look, I've seen it. If
- 35:17Speaker 4: I've said it once, I've said it a thousand times,
- 35:18Speaker 4: I would oh yeah, yeah, But I you know, one
- 35:21Speaker 4: of my rules is I don't mess with married men.
- 35:25Speaker 4: Sure unless it's eezy and he hasn't got his wedding
- 35:27Speaker 4: ring on, which is key yeah, yeah, which is all
- 35:30Speaker 4: the time, all the time, key be cheating.
- 35:34Speaker 5: We don't have a podcast outro clip tonight, which is
- 35:37Speaker 5: a shame because we could have just played that instead
- 35:39Speaker 5: of doing this whole thing that we just did.
- 35:41Speaker 3: Hey, but don't be disappointed, because what we do have
- 35:43Speaker 3: is what's for teen New Zealand, and we're not doing.

- 39:39Speaker 1: The Hdarchy Big Show with Jason Hoyt, Mike Minogue.
- 39:43Speaker 3: And Kesey Becie Boys there on the radio Hodarky Big Show,
- 39:47Speaker 3: this glorious Thursday evening. But right now it's time for
- 39:53Speaker 3: What's on the Telly with Mike Minogue.
- 40:00Speaker 9: Yeah yeah, good stuff, fellas.
- 40:15Speaker 3: Ye.
- 40:17Speaker 4: Last night I watched Seinfeld. Oh you joke, I tell
- 40:20Speaker 4: a lie? I did. I did, though, But I also
- 40:23Speaker 4: watched another episode of Mister in Between, Yes, and it
- 40:26Speaker 4: was with the brother in law when the brother and
- 40:28Speaker 4: still first season, the brother in law comes around and
- 40:30Speaker 4: tries to rub rob old mate.
- 40:32Speaker 3: Oh yeah, bad move, very funny, bad move. Unfortunately, fellas,
- 40:39Speaker 3: I don't have much to offer today for What's on
- 40:41Speaker 3: the TV with Mikemino because I was out for dinner,
- 40:43Speaker 3: as previously discussed on the show, and so I got
- 40:47Speaker 3: home quite ungodly out or something like quarter past nine
- 40:50Speaker 3: or something. Yeah, what an ungodly hour, exactly my point,
- 40:54Speaker 3: and went to bed.
- 40:55Speaker 4: But can I just say that you always get up
- 40:57Speaker 4: and then you can watch TV all day, so surely
- 40:59Speaker 4: you've got I.
- 41:01Speaker 3: Actually I don't actually watch TV during the day. Make
- 41:04Speaker 3: to be honest, I really don't. If there's some sport
- 41:07Speaker 3: replay on, I will for sure watch it's country Calendar.
- 41:12Speaker 3: I'm going to slap you.
- 41:13Speaker 5: I almost want to say that, just to see you
- 41:15Speaker 5: see if you can reach my face from there. I
- 41:18Speaker 5: watched the show on TV and Z on demand last
- 41:20Speaker 5: night called Here Come the Mormons. It's an hour long
- 41:24Speaker 5: doc on Mormons being assigned their first mission. Oh yeah,
- 41:29Speaker 5: very very interesting. They are not allowed to They are
- 41:32Speaker 5: not allowed to have tea or coffee or alcohol. This
- 41:36Speaker 5: is just Mormonism in general. And when you go on
- 41:38Speaker 5: your mission, you're not allowed to. I think it was
- 41:41Speaker 5: like pet any of the animals. You're allowed to hold
- 41:43Speaker 5: any kids. You have to have your partner with you
- 41:46Speaker 5: at all times, who's the same sex as you, if
- 41:48Speaker 5: you hang out with, if you hang out with, you know,
- 41:52Speaker 5: the opposite sex. You have to have an odd number
- 41:54Speaker 5: of them and an even number of one, so that
- 41:57Speaker 5: there's like three dudes and two checks or three checks
- 41:59Speaker 5: and two at all, one dude and two checks, which
- 42:04Speaker 5: exactly all like five checks.
- 42:05Speaker 3: And that scenario. What would you run with? How would
- 42:09Speaker 3: your ultimate set up be if you were a Mormon?
- 42:11Speaker 4: Well I'm not Yeah, he's good my ultimate Mormon said yeah.
- 42:15Speaker 3: I mean what I mean, what direction would you go?
- 42:17Speaker 4: Man?
- 42:17Speaker 5: Oh, look, it's just it's not about sitting up any
- 42:20Speaker 5: sort of ultimate situation.
- 42:22Speaker 4: Jao old mate that you're misses met in the gym
- 42:26Speaker 4: changing room, the.
- 42:27Speaker 3: Bull guy, No, the other one.
- 42:29Speaker 5: The threesome that she massively blew from us. Yeah, you're obviously. Yeah, sure,
- 42:34Speaker 5: if they want to, if her and my wife want
- 42:36Speaker 5: to help me spread the good words, and that's I'm
- 42:38Speaker 5: sweet with that.
- 42:38Speaker 4: I'm down with that.
- 42:39Speaker 3: And can I just can I just reiterate the point
- 42:41Speaker 3: when it comes to threesomes, there's a lot of admin
- 42:44Speaker 3: going on there. Trust me, there's a lot.
- 42:47Speaker 5: Of Jason's crowbatter that he's had a threesome. Now he
- 42:50Speaker 5: thinks he's the man.
- 42:51Speaker 4: I think what's actually happened is Jason's been in the
- 42:54Speaker 4: same beard as two other people that are having six. Yeah,
- 42:57Speaker 4: that doesn't mean it's a threesome. What it means is
- 42:59Speaker 4: you're moving too close again.
- 43:01Speaker 3: No, I was standing behind that. I was. I was
- 43:03Speaker 3: standing beside the bead, holding my my hand up, waiting
- 43:06Speaker 3: to beg.
- 43:07Speaker 4: Like a come on, tag me on the corner of
- 43:10Speaker 4: the ring ropes.
- 43:11Speaker 5: But Honestly, I'd highly recommend that because the whole time
- 43:13Speaker 5: I just spent my my the whole time watching it,
- 43:16Speaker 5: shaking my heir, going thank goodness, this isn't me. Thank goodness,
- 43:19Speaker 5: I don't have to do this, and instead I can
- 43:21Speaker 5: be all six drugs and rock and roll on Hodak No,
- 43:25Speaker 5: not on the beach there. That's a throwback to the podcast.
- 43:29Speaker 5: Yeah you get good, good podcast. He doesn't like how
- 43:32Speaker 5: dirty it's.
- 43:34Speaker 4: Let's not get into podcast chat here, let's go into
- 43:36Speaker 4: a tune. What's this, Jason?
- 43:38Speaker 3: Do we go into see because the computers so small
- 43:40Speaker 3: and I don't have my glasses.

- 44:06Speaker 4: time we did the first time we took it on
- 44:09Speaker 4: the road. Oh yeah, it was. It was unreal. And
- 44:12Speaker 4: that's sort of like, I guess it's your old stomping ground,
- 44:15Speaker 4: isn't it already? Jay? You spend a lot of time
- 44:17Speaker 4: down those ways, on the on the farm, I sad
- 44:20Speaker 4: the family farm there, What bloody beautiful it was. And
- 44:25Speaker 4: we'll be back this time at the New Zealand what

- 44:37Speaker 5: the twenty first, will be at Shining Peak Brewing doing
- 44:39Speaker 5: a live show four or seven. Jason, am I write
- 44:42Speaker 5: and saying that that farm and then Tartanuki that was
- 44:44Speaker 5: where your uncle invented carrots.
- 44:47Speaker 3: Yes, yeah, he was the first one to eat a carrot.
- 44:51Speaker 4: It was the first one. It was for human consumption,
- 44:54Speaker 4: up until that point, only been eaten by horses cattle.
- 44:58Speaker 3: And he was looking at a the horses eating the carrots,
- 45:01Speaker 3: and he went, hang about, I wonder what would happen
- 45:03Speaker 3: if I ate one of those bars. He was pretty
- 45:05Speaker 3: steamed at the time, you know what it's like, and
- 45:07Speaker 3: he didn't have anything to eat, so he saw, I'll
- 45:09Speaker 3: just have one of these carrots, and he went he
- 45:10Speaker 3: had a crunch on a carrot and went, God, that's delicious.
- 45:12Speaker 4: Initially he was following the suit of the cows had
- 45:15Speaker 4: been eating the grass grass fierce. Well that's no good.
- 45:18Speaker 4: The carrots are probably garbage as well.
- 45:20Speaker 5: But was there like a plark or anything there to
- 45:24Speaker 5: sort of commemorate.
- 45:25Speaker 3: Oh no, No, he was a pretty humble blokecuse he
- 45:27Speaker 3: didn't like to bang on about his achievements.
- 45:29Speaker 4: So how did the word get out about eating carrots?
- 45:31Speaker 3: Oh? He just told everyone up the pub down the road.
- 45:33Speaker 4: I thought he didn't like to bang on about it.
- 45:34Speaker 3: Oh, you know, just his mates, I mean publican Now,
- 45:37Speaker 3: I mean, I'm sure if there was social media back
- 45:39Speaker 3: in those days, he would have probably gone on the
- 45:41Speaker 3: social media and.
- 45:42Speaker 4: People had come over and they'd be entertained. He put
- 45:44Speaker 4: out a tecurary board, would carrots with your hummus and
- 45:47Speaker 4: all those things as well? And yeah, I mean a
- 45:51Speaker 4: local celebrity. I think it's fair to say that Jake
- 45:53Speaker 4: he was Wow, that's amazing. They called him the big carrot,
- 45:57Speaker 4: they did, but that was from years before.
- 46:00Speaker 3: I had nothing to do with the eating carrots.
- 46:01Speaker 5: Oh was that sort of to do with Yeah runs
