- 0:00Speaker 1: One or two one seven. You said that look at
- 0:01Speaker 1: this as promised, this advertised Barry Kyogan is here with us.
- 0:05Speaker 1: It's great to see man. Thanks for coming on.
- 0:08Speaker 2: Who are you man?
- 0:09Speaker 1: I mean, yeah, I'm just congratulations. I'm looking at the
- 0:12Speaker 1: things that you've been doing this for a while, but
- 0:14Speaker 1: looking at all the things that you have been in
- 0:17Speaker 1: over the last handful of years and nominated for an
- 0:19Speaker 1: Oscar and salt Burn and then playing in the Beatles
- 0:23Speaker 1: the series of movie there, it seems like to us
- 0:27Speaker 1: a lot of momentum has been sort of just continuing
- 0:30Speaker 1: with you, does it feel like a fast ride over
- 0:33Speaker 1: the last handful of years?
- 0:35Speaker 2: Yeah? Those, man, that's the sort of you know, the
- 0:40Speaker 2: I mean, it's it's beautiful as well, and it's it's
- 0:44Speaker 2: nice when that happens. But at the same time, does
- 0:47Speaker 2: a lot of you know, and you're just everywhere then
- 0:51Speaker 2: and your privacy and stuff like that is kind of
- 0:54Speaker 2: hope for grabs. And the more you do and the
- 0:58Speaker 2: more good work that you do and you know, the
- 1:01Speaker 2: more it's received. And yeah, it's just it's a fine line.
- 1:05Speaker 1: So because of the the impact that the projects have had, right,
- 1:10Speaker 1: the global impact, impact of people just being big fans
- 1:13Speaker 1: and sort of being obsessed with everything that you've been
- 1:15Speaker 1: in in a way that then has a big impact
- 1:18Speaker 1: on your real life in terms of privacy. Is what
- 1:20Speaker 1: you mean that's the downside?
- 1:21Speaker 2: Well, I mean dancing around the munch and with no
- 1:23Speaker 2: votes on sort of asked without myself.
- 1:29Speaker 1: It's I guess it's a trade off, isn't it. It's
- 1:31Speaker 1: a trade off. It's like, you want to do stuff
- 1:33Speaker 1: that people recognize, and then I'll.
- 1:35Speaker 2: Definitely recognize, like it's I mean, you're putting yourself out
- 1:39Speaker 2: there literally, but it's it's again, It's just I'm looking
- 1:44Speaker 2: to have a filmography that you know that I'm very
- 1:48Speaker 2: very proud of, and performances that go from one one
- 1:52Speaker 2: side to another, and you know, show range and have
- 1:55Speaker 2: fun and learn and grow and and and all those
- 1:59Speaker 2: beautiful things.
- 2:01Speaker 1: Well, I understand you were a fan of Peaky Blinders
- 2:03Speaker 1: before you signed on to do this film project, right.
- 2:06Speaker 2: Yeah, I was a massive fan. I had the heracle
- 2:09Speaker 2: for about six years actually, no, no, and then when
- 2:13Speaker 2: I start growing my hair out, that's when they noticed.
- 2:16Speaker 1: Barry Kyoggin is with is your Peaky Blinders. That's what
- 2:18Speaker 1: we're talking about. Immortal Man, which is gonna be on
- 2:20Speaker 1: Netflix later this month. Also, you're in the middle of
- 2:23Speaker 1: Are you in the middle of the Beatles biopic right now?

- 2:40Speaker 2: like brothers, you know. It's yeah, it's I couldn't ask
- 2:44Speaker 2: for for anything better. And it's sort of a place
- 2:47Speaker 2: as well where I'm getting to, you know, really elevating
- 2:51Speaker 2: craft and as an actor and as a human and
- 2:53Speaker 2: as everything else that comes with it. It's a it's
- 2:58Speaker 2: it's just yeah, it's a it's a great it's it's
- 3:00Speaker 2: gonna be an experience that I'll never ever forget and
- 3:03Speaker 2: one that lives with me.
- 3:04Speaker 1: I'm curious to know. So, you know, these are obviously
- 3:09Speaker 1: more adult in material, Like, is there a franchise that
- 3:11Speaker 1: you look at, you know, these animated franchises are so
- 3:13Speaker 1: great with you. Is there any animated franchise you look
- 3:15Speaker 1: at and go, Okay, for my kid one day, that
- 3:17Speaker 1: would be cool. That would be a great character, a
- 3:19Speaker 1: great voice, or something to do for fun in that realm.
- 3:23Speaker 2: Yeah, definitely. I've chatted with you know, good buddies with
- 3:26Speaker 2: Edge Sharon, and we've chatted about you know, possibly bringing
- 3:31Speaker 2: something together and in that world and there's no better
- 3:35Speaker 2: man and something for our young one, something for my boys,
- 3:39Speaker 2: something for you know, just the imagination, and so yeah,
- 3:44Speaker 2: definitely I'm I'm thinking about that and just to have
- 3:47Speaker 2: fun as well, isn't it. Yeah, I think that my
- 3:50Speaker 2: boy go watch Soulborn or Sacred yet not yet, I'm

- 4:07Speaker 1: raw oysters and then here's your dad in this kind
- 4:09Speaker 1: of mo when.
- 4:11Speaker 2: Easy and spaghetti ball and as in front of me,
- 4:13Speaker 2: I'm sort of like, wow, I'm like, you're just like
- 4:16Speaker 2: your dad. I'm just saying eagles and know and he
