Trust, The Key To Unlocking Potential · Rev-n-u Unplugged

James: There's an old Eastern saying, James, that I really believe in. And the question is, how do you make people trustworthy? And the answer is to trust them. And when you grant people trust, when you grant people trust, and you give them space to act in a trusted fashion, you're gonna get some amazing stuff. But you know, like Heisenberg's principle of observability, if you're hovering over ⁓ over somebody, always examining, not trusting, well they're gonna find ways to get out of that loop that are maybe not trustworthy ways. So when you see great companies, great cultures, they're always grounded on trust. And when trust is there, you can give people space to be their best selves and they're confident that they're protected and safe. And I I share with my teams all the time, I would share this with any leader. Our jobs are to protect our teams and promote our teams. And in order to do that, you've got to have their trust and confidence as well.
