- 0:00Speaker 1: Because fuck you, that's why is a founding member of
- 0:02Speaker 1: the Odd Pods Media Network.
- 0:36Speaker 2: Hello, and welcome to episode two sixty three of bfyt
- 0:41Speaker 2: w All hel the Algorithm.
- 0:47Speaker 3: No, actually, if you didn't, we have some very special
- 0:51Speaker 3: guests with us today.
- 0:52Speaker 4: We do.
- 0:52Speaker 3: Yeah, but first just a quick notice. Oggie couldn't make
- 0:55Speaker 3: it today. Aggie is not feeling well, that's why it's
- 1:00Speaker 3: he is empty and in fact, I think facing the
- 1:02Speaker 3: other way anyway, Uh, he's not present. So instead we
- 1:06Speaker 3: asked all three members of the Suggested Articles podcast to
- 1:11Speaker 3: come and visit.
- 1:11Speaker 5: Hi, guys, what's up? Hello?
- 1:15Speaker 6: What's up? I like weed, not build ponds for a living.
- 1:21Speaker 3: Erin very graciously agreed pretty much last minute to come
- 1:24Speaker 3: in and take Augie's place. So thank you so much
- 1:27Speaker 3: for doing that.
- 1:27Speaker 6: Erin.
- 1:27Speaker 3: It means the world to me and us, and we're
- 1:29Speaker 3: so grateful you're here. So now we can have an
- 1:32Speaker 3: even teen. It's going to be two versus two Stevie
- 1:35Speaker 3: and Aaron versus two F Jeff and one F Jeff
- 1:39Speaker 3: from the Suggested Article Podcast.
- 1:42Speaker 5: Not get confused or the two errands. This is going
- 1:47Speaker 5: to be grand.
- 1:48Speaker 7: There's two errands and two jeffs oh my god, I
- 1:50Speaker 7: should have hosted today.
- 1:53Speaker 3: What we should have done. We didn't know Aaron was
- 1:57Speaker 3: coming until.
- 1:58Speaker 6: Yesterday, so you know, podcast idea.
- 2:01Speaker 3: It is what it is. And given the way that
- 2:08Speaker 3: suggested articles cover is pretty much the way the algorithm
- 2:11Speaker 3: is fucking up, I'm sorry, integrated into our lives, I
- 2:17Speaker 3: thought it would be appropriate to make an algorithm slash
- 2:20Speaker 3: AI focused episode. So this entire episode is brought to
- 2:23Speaker 3: you by AI. And when I tell you, when I
- 2:28Speaker 3: tell you, holy shit, was this the most work I
- 2:32Speaker 3: put into an episode in such a long time?
- 2:34Speaker 1: Really?
- 2:35Speaker 3: Yeah, I had. I had a bunch of AI generated
- 2:38Speaker 3: stuff for some of the games that I had to
- 2:40Speaker 3: spend just as much time cleaning up to make it
- 2:44Speaker 3: appropriate and make it work because it was all fucking
- 2:47Speaker 3: broken bullshit. I swear to god, I'm not making this up.
- 2:53Speaker 3: It was awful, and I would much rather just do
- 2:56Speaker 3: it myself in the future, because you would take half
- 2:59Speaker 3: the time.
- 3:01Speaker 8: So that's a lesson that should be learned by many
- 3:03Speaker 8: in our society. And you know, you got to do
- 3:05Speaker 8: it once the hard way, and then maybe you're like,
- 3:07Speaker 8: maybe I shouldn't use AI.
- 3:08Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, exactly. So we're gonna spend at least like
- 3:12Speaker 3: an hour just shitting on AI constantly. So I thought
- 3:16Speaker 3: it would be appropriate to sort of just kind of
- 3:19Speaker 3: take a step back and try and find the positive
- 3:22Speaker 3: in this mess. So my introductory question this week is
- 3:26Speaker 3: going to be it, can you think of something positive
- 3:30Speaker 3: that the algorithm and or AI has introduced to our lives.
- 3:35Speaker 3: That's all I'm asking is, can you think of one
- 3:37Speaker 3: positive thing? And, as I said before the show, no
- 3:41Speaker 3: is an acceptable answer. We are going to start with
- 3:45Speaker 3: We'll start with our guests, and I'm going to start
- 3:48Speaker 3: with two F Jeff hi T F Jeff.
- 3:51Speaker 5: Well, Hello there, Aaron.
- 3:53Speaker 3: To a Aaron to Aaron to Aaron, Hi there. I've
- 4:01Speaker 3: been un suggested article twice. I've had a lot of fun.
- 4:03Speaker 3: I highly suggest you guys go listen. It's a It's
- 4:06Speaker 3: an absolute blast. And they've been very gracious to have
- 4:08Speaker 3: me on more than once, so they didn't hate me.
- 4:14Speaker 3: Books haven't invited me for a third yet, so the
- 4:19Speaker 3: jury might still be out.
- 4:22Speaker 5: Aaron.
- 4:22Speaker 8: You can come back the third time when you get
- 4:24Speaker 8: an audiobook to plug for Raka and the inevitability of life.
- 4:28Speaker 3: Okay, so never.
- 4:30Speaker 5: Damn it, I'm an audiobook guy helped me out here.
- 4:34Speaker 3: Believe me, I would love to, but it might not
- 4:36Speaker 3: be in the books, but we'll see. So to f
- 4:39Speaker 3: Jeff the introductory question, can you think of anything positive
- 4:43Speaker 3: that the algorithm?
- 4:44Speaker 8: Look, I'm pretty jaded about it these days, as I
- 4:48Speaker 8: am constantly noticing the insidious little things the algorithm inserts
- 4:51Speaker 8: into my life. But every once in a while, like
- 4:55Speaker 8: just the other night, I was looking at I think
- 4:57Speaker 8: Facebook and it popped up an add for a comedy
- 5:01Speaker 8: show with some of these guys from Dropout.
- 5:05Speaker 5: Yeah, I don't know if you, if you, if you're familiar.
- 5:07Speaker 8: Hell yeah, but very specifically, Brendan Lee Mulligan's doing a
- 5:11Speaker 8: show with his wife, and a couple of our local
- 5:14Speaker 8: besties are huge fans of Brendan Lee Mulligan.
- 5:18Speaker 3: So is that the name of the show. Yes, yes,
- 5:22Speaker 3: I'll get because they're constantly huge. I've seen I've seen
- 5:31Speaker 3: a live like recording of their show and it was fantastic.
- 5:35Speaker 3: So sorry, carry on.
- 5:36Speaker 8: Well, So it's nice to occasionally get those kind of
- 5:41Speaker 8: suggestions where it's something I wouldn't have looked up on
- 5:43Speaker 8: my own, but now there's an option where maybe I
- 5:46Speaker 8: could surprise a friend with a night out where it's
- 5:49Speaker 8: like a comedy show that they.
- 5:50Speaker 5: Might not have known about or something like that. You know,
- 5:52Speaker 5: that's kind of cool. That's about all I got.
- 5:56Speaker 8: The rest of it raises my blood pressure and yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 6:01Speaker 8: and start twitching a lot.
- 6:03Speaker 3: Uh and his partner, at least for this episode of
- 6:06Speaker 3: b F Y TWW, it's one half Jeff Hi, Hey,
- 6:10Speaker 3: uh so satan question, buddy, can you think of anything
- 6:14Speaker 3: positive that the algorithm or AI has.
- 6:17Speaker 4: Well, call me cynical, but it has brought around the
- 6:20Speaker 4: very real possibility of a real sky net, which means
- 6:23Speaker 4: the end could be near, and I'm excited for that.
- 6:26Speaker 5: I don't want to have to.
- 6:27Speaker 1: Go to work.
- 6:30Speaker 5: Nothing jaded about that.
- 6:32Speaker 4: With my luck there will be no bombs near me.
- 6:34Speaker 4: I'll still have to go to work. But yeah, yeah,
- 6:37Speaker 4: that's that's where I'm at.
- 6:39Speaker 3: So maybe that's a no. It's kind of yes, I guess, okay,
- 6:45Speaker 3: kind of because you are looking forward to.
- 6:48Speaker 1: There's nothing wrong with that, nothing.
- 6:50Speaker 3: Wrong with about it all and their opponents. We're gonna
- 6:54Speaker 3: start with our guest, Aaron from on Lumni and suggested articles.
- 6:58Speaker 1: Hi.
- 7:00Speaker 6: Hey, what's up?
- 7:00Speaker 9: Hi?
- 7:01Speaker 6: Thanks for having me.
- 7:02Speaker 3: What's happening. Thanks for coming in last note, late last
- 7:06Speaker 3: minute or late notice. Either one would be corrected, but
- 7:09Speaker 3: I somehow managed to confuse the two. Uh On Lil
- 7:13Speaker 3: and I is a Golden Girls podcast that we've all
- 7:17Speaker 3: of the b fy TW boys have been on at
- 7:19Speaker 3: some point, and I've enjoyed it. I'm gonna be back
- 7:22Speaker 3: you are Yeah, yeah, yeah, another recording people like you. Yeah,
- 7:27Speaker 3: it's weird y.
- 7:32Speaker 6: Gap between season one and season two. He's our last
- 7:37Speaker 6: guest of season one and our first guest of season two.
- 7:40Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 7:41Speaker 1: You're like the front and the back of the human centipede.
- 7:44Speaker 6: I'm straddling you're the middle of this human centipede mouth stone.
- 7:52Speaker 3: I can't win either. So anyway, Aaron, can you think
- 8:00Speaker 3: of anything positive the algorithm or AI has introduced to
- 8:03Speaker 3: your life?
- 8:04Speaker 6: No, For a brief minute, I was about to say,
- 8:09Speaker 6: I'm getting I'm sorry, it's getting hand gestures from my
- 8:11Speaker 6: occasional co host Jeff to f who wanted me to say,
- 8:15Speaker 6: he is the thing that the algorithm.
- 8:18Speaker 5: Has probably brought us together somehow.
- 8:20Speaker 3: Sure.
- 8:20Speaker 6: Yeah, anyway, so my answer was going to be that
- 8:24Speaker 6: it was the eBay. The eBay writes my descriptions for
- 8:26Speaker 6: me now except if you let if you let the
- 8:29Speaker 6: AI on eBay write your description. It's like, this is
- 8:32Speaker 6: a memorable item for your joy of people collect things,
- 8:37Speaker 6: and everything reads like a diso saying like it's almost English.
- 8:44Speaker 8: It was English translated into Japanese and then back into
- 8:46Speaker 8: English and then into.
- 8:48Speaker 6: Korean and then in English.
- 8:50Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 8:53Speaker 6: Oh no, I'm gonna have to say no. I had
- 8:56Speaker 6: hope for just a second and then I was like, no,
- 8:59Speaker 6: there's no and I need this.
- 9:01Speaker 3: Fair enough, fair enough, all right? Well, and her partner
- 9:06Speaker 3: is our usual mainstay. He's a veteran and a podcaster,
- 9:10Speaker 3: and I guess that technically makes him a veteran podcaster.
- 9:13Speaker 3: It's Stevie. Stevie, you think of anything positive the algorithm
- 9:19Speaker 3: and or a I have introduced to our lives.
- 9:22Speaker 7: So far, I found some really cool ducks, some really
- 9:26Speaker 7: cool gnomes, but I think so far the best thing
- 9:31Speaker 7: are these really really nice lace underwears I found. Dude.
- 9:37Speaker 7: After we're done, I gotta show you. They're freaking amazing.
- 9:40Speaker 3: Are you wearing them right now?
- 9:42Speaker 5: Show us? Now it's just a podcast.
- 9:45Speaker 3: Literally, anyone listening cannot see this, so right, literally, just
- 9:49Speaker 3: for Patregon members and subscribers.
- 9:51Speaker 6: We'll see.
- 9:55Speaker 1: That's not enough. YE made a this time we got
- 10:00Speaker 1: to get paid for it.
- 10:01Speaker 3: I apologize, I'm an author, I'm broke. Yeah, I can't
- 10:05Speaker 3: help you anyway, and I am your host pantsy Saren.
- 10:11Speaker 3: And my answer to the question, I actually have two answers.
- 10:13Speaker 3: The first one is more of a straightforward sortything. I
- 10:16Speaker 3: played a video game a couple years ago, I want
- 10:19Speaker 3: to say, called Death End Request. It's a Japanese sort
- 10:23Speaker 3: of visual novel slash RPG.
- 10:26Speaker 1: Geez.
- 10:26Speaker 3: It's got this very strange mechanic where you bounce the
- 10:28Speaker 3: enemies around the field of battle like pinballs, and if
- 10:31Speaker 3: you slam them into each other or your fellow party members,
- 10:35Speaker 3: they take more damage. So you're literally trying to line
- 10:39Speaker 3: them up. You're trying to line them up so they
- 10:41Speaker 3: bounce off as many things as you can to get
- 10:44Speaker 3: as much damage as you can. It's actually kind of engaging.
- 10:47Speaker 6: This story.
- 10:48Speaker 3: The story is absolutely that shit crazy, and it goes
- 10:51Speaker 3: a bit off the rails in the end, and I
- 10:53Speaker 3: was kind of middling on it. I was like, well,
- 10:55Speaker 3: I know there's a sequel, so there must be a
- 10:57Speaker 3: reason they made a sequel, So maybe it's good, I
- 10:59Speaker 3: don't know. And then like the next day after I
- 11:03Speaker 3: beat it, I see an ad for it's like that
- 11:06Speaker 3: then request two fifty percent off on gog dot com and.
- 11:10Speaker 1: I'm like, oh, I guess I'm.
- 11:12Speaker 3: I might check it out. I might as well. And
- 11:17Speaker 3: I genuinely like that one more than the first one.
- 11:19Speaker 3: So it's one of the few times I can think
- 11:22Speaker 3: of where the algorithm actually did something that made me happy.
- 11:25Speaker 3: Uh So, you know that was the That is literally
- 11:28Speaker 3: the only time I could make up off the top
- 11:30Speaker 3: of my head that I was happy to see it
- 11:32Speaker 3: add for something I actually genuinely didn't know I wanted.
- 11:37Speaker 3: And then the other My second answer is all the
- 11:39Speaker 3: humor that's come about because of all the epic failures
- 11:42Speaker 3: of AI, some of it absolutely hysterical.
- 11:45Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 11:46Speaker 3: So, speaking of yeah, let's get to it. We're gonna
- 11:52Speaker 3: play three silly games.
- 11:53Speaker 1: Oh.
- 11:54Speaker 3: Teams are playing head dead against each other. Whichever team
- 11:56Speaker 3: is the most points at the end of the game
- 11:58Speaker 3: wins the episode and it doesn't get anything for it.
- 12:01Speaker 5: And a new car.
- 12:02Speaker 8: Oh, now's a good time to give away new cars
- 12:06Speaker 8: before they get too expensive.
- 12:08Speaker 3: Late point, I am so glad I bought my car.
- 12:13Speaker 3: Before that, I shole got an office anyway, So let's
- 12:17Speaker 3: let's get to it, shall we. Our first game is
- 12:20Speaker 3: going to be like Share Block. I've got three news
- 12:22Speaker 3: stories here, all related to AI. All our players have
- 12:25Speaker 3: to do is figure out which one I would like,
- 12:27Speaker 3: which one I would share, and which one I would
- 12:28Speaker 3: block on social media. There is only one for each
- 12:32Speaker 3: of those, and the correct combination was decided by me
- 12:35Speaker 3: before the show, which every team guesses correctly, or if
- 12:38Speaker 3: neither does, whoever's closest is going to win the game
- 12:40Speaker 3: and earn one episode point. We're gonna go over all
- 12:43Speaker 3: three stories first and then our teams will decide. So
- 12:47Speaker 3: our first story, AI generated lawyer gets shut down immediately
- 12:53Speaker 3: by angry judges. So this is a recent story. This
- 12:58Speaker 3: happened just a couple of days ago, April fourth. So
- 13:02Speaker 3: a man who was a plaintiff and an employment dispute
- 13:09Speaker 3: submitted a video for his argument because he was representing
- 13:12Speaker 3: himself and he wasn't a lawyer, and so they played
- 13:17Speaker 3: the video and the video was a you know, just
- 13:22Speaker 3: a guy in a you know, with a sculpted hairdoo,
- 13:25Speaker 3: wearing a button down shirt and a sweater and he
- 13:29Speaker 3: he started talking, you know very in fact, I have
- 13:32Speaker 3: the exact quote here, mate, Please the court. I come
- 13:35Speaker 3: here today, a humble pro se before a panel of
- 13:38Speaker 3: five distinguished justices. And one of the judges immediately goes,
- 13:41Speaker 3: no hold on, is that counsel of the case. And
- 13:47Speaker 3: the plaintiffs said, I generated that. That is not a
- 13:49Speaker 3: real person, and the judge was pissed.
- 13:53Speaker 1: What uh?
- 13:58Speaker 3: They said, it would have been nice to know that
- 13:59Speaker 3: when you made your application you did not tell me that, sir,
- 14:02Speaker 3: and then yelled across the room for the video to
- 14:05Speaker 3: be shut off.
- 14:06Speaker 8: Wow, can I say something in this I'm a little
- 14:11Speaker 8: mad at the AP for this one because the headline
- 14:14Speaker 8: said AI generated lawyer. But the second that video started,
- 14:17Speaker 8: the thing said I'm here pro sey blah blah blah,
- 14:21Speaker 8: which I'm not a lawyer, but I work for lawyers.
- 14:23Speaker 8: I mean, like you said, anyway you said it, he
- 14:25Speaker 8: was representing himself, so it's not like he was trying
- 14:29Speaker 8: to pass this thing off as an actual lawyer.
- 14:33Speaker 5: They just didn't like the way he was doing his
- 14:36Speaker 5: own statement, right.
- 14:38Speaker 1: He was having that give a statements of him doing it.
- 14:41Speaker 3: Yeah, I guess the problem was less with the AI
- 14:43Speaker 3: and more with the lie.
- 14:45Speaker 7: I mean, guess it's judgment or the lie of a mission.
- 14:47Speaker 7: I guess judge is probably years older.
- 14:49Speaker 3: Oh I have no idea.
- 14:51Speaker 1: Yeah, fucking get off the bench. You're too old. You're
- 14:53Speaker 1: gonna break a hit.
- 14:56Speaker 3: But real lawyers have also gotten in trouble when they
- 14:59Speaker 3: tried to use artificial intelligence. In three two attorneys in
- 15:03Speaker 3: a law firm where each fined five thousand dollars by
- 15:06Speaker 3: a federal judge in New York after they used an
- 15:09Speaker 3: AI tool to do legal research and as a result,
- 15:12Speaker 3: wound up citing completely fictitious legal cases. Why invented by
- 15:19Speaker 3: the chatbo Wow?
- 15:21Speaker 4: Yes, yeah, we actually covered that on our show.
- 15:26Speaker 8: Yeah, there have been serious consequences for people getting caught
- 15:30Speaker 8: doing that.
- 15:30Speaker 6: Oh yeah yeah, I can't the balls on someone. It's
- 15:37Speaker 6: like here, read these boring books for me, like you
- 15:42Speaker 6: deserve that. Sorry, back down on the article one.
- 15:45Speaker 3: Yeah, I know you're not wrong.
- 15:47Speaker 1: No, that's weird. I'll say, it's just weird. I like it.
- 15:53Speaker 1: You don't even use any lawyer words. Use lawyer words.
- 15:58Speaker 3: It's a pro se, he said.
- 16:00Speaker 1: That's French, that's actual.
- 16:05Speaker 3: Yeah, we we pro se.
- 16:09Speaker 1: French. Everybody knows that are wow.
- 16:15Speaker 3: Okay, fair enough, all right, let's move on to our
- 16:20Speaker 3: second news story of the week. Uh. McDonald's ends AI
- 16:27Speaker 3: powered drive through after frustrated customers complain that their orders
- 16:30Speaker 3: are comically wrong.
- 16:32Speaker 1: AI drive through.
- 16:34Speaker 10: Uh.
- 16:35Speaker 5: Yeah, you don't have that in your area yet, not.
- 16:39Speaker 3: Yet, thankfully.
- 16:41Speaker 7: Is it like one of those like old cafeteria days
- 16:43Speaker 7: where you put the money in, you open the thing and.
- 16:49Speaker 5: What was that called the seventies automatic? Yeah?
- 16:54Speaker 7: Yeah, damn, but like for your car.
- 16:59Speaker 5: Now, it's not that good. It's not that complicated yet.
- 17:01Speaker 8: They just replace the screen where you go in order
- 17:04Speaker 8: with a fancier screen that talks to you.
- 17:06Speaker 1: Oh gross.
- 17:08Speaker 4: Yeah, so they can they can pay one less person
- 17:10Speaker 4: or something I don't know.
- 17:11Speaker 11: Yes, yeah, that's that's where yeh, stealing our germs, people
- 17:17Speaker 11: out of service jobs and into we have no backup.
- 17:20Speaker 5: Plan, that's the problem.
- 17:21Speaker 3: Yeah, exactly, yep. So, yes, it's true. McDonald's is pulling
- 17:26Speaker 3: the plug on a test that deployed artificial intelligence to
- 17:29Speaker 3: take drive through customer orders with the technology showing. And
- 17:33Speaker 3: this is generous thing to say, mixed results must over.
- 17:41Speaker 3: So as of December, McDonald's had twenty seven thousand drive
- 17:46Speaker 3: through locations across the world. It deployed the AI tech
- 17:49Speaker 3: at one hundred US locations uh, and there were many
- 17:54Speaker 3: mishaps that amused and sometimes frustrated their customers. In early
- 17:58Speaker 3: to twenty twenty three, TikTok user Wren Adams shared a
- 18:01Speaker 3: video where she tried to get a hash brown, a
- 18:04Speaker 3: sweet tea, and a coke. The AI cashier added nine
- 18:07Speaker 3: sweet teas to Adam's order, uh, in which.
- 18:10Speaker 4: She immediately that's hilarious or nine teas is the funniest
- 18:16Speaker 4: amount of teas.
- 18:18Speaker 3: In another video, TikTok user camera camera and filmed yourself
- 18:22Speaker 3: in McDonald's err through ordering water and vanilla ice cream.
- 18:26Speaker 3: The bot inexplicably added two sides of butter and four
- 18:30Speaker 3: ketchup packets.
- 18:34Speaker 8: Enough butter and salt and some maybe some creamers you
- 18:37Speaker 8: could make your own ice cream.
- 18:38Speaker 6: I mean, that might be the best thing we've never
- 18:41Speaker 6: tasted good.
- 18:42Speaker 3: We don't know.
- 18:43Speaker 4: So yeah, I didn't believe that you could dip a
- 18:46Speaker 4: fry and a shake at first, but I came around
- 18:48Speaker 4: on that too.
- 18:49Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah I did. Yeah I did as well. But anyway,
- 18:55Speaker 3: McDonald's just thankfully decided to pull a plug for now
- 18:59Speaker 3: they've been part ering the IBM for no ship three
- 19:02Speaker 3: years about for this ship for good.
- 19:07Speaker 7: Yeah, but there there they Yeah, we're still around.
- 19:11Speaker 3: They say they're going to continue to try, and you know,
- 19:13Speaker 3: oh my god.
- 19:15Speaker 8: Of course they're going to continue to try. They have
- 19:18Speaker 8: to eliminate humans.
- 19:19Speaker 3: I wish them no luck.
- 19:21Speaker 1: I guess wait a minute, can you spell sky net
- 19:23Speaker 1: out of Microsoft?
- 19:24Speaker 5: Okay?
- 19:26Speaker 1: To make sure those.
- 19:29Speaker 4: I bet degenerated? If I A I could, though, it
- 19:31Speaker 4: would find it.
- 19:33Speaker 1: A different language.
- 19:36Speaker 3: There were only two rs in Strubbery.
- 19:39Speaker 8: I got stuck in one of those AI drive throughs
- 19:42Speaker 8: once so far and I decided I was never going
- 19:44Speaker 8: to go back. But really disquieting. Uh, and it was
- 19:47Speaker 8: a it was a taco bell. It got my order right,
- 19:49Speaker 8: But looking back, like I don't want to make I
- 19:51Speaker 8: don't want to ruin anyone's day. But what I really
- 19:53Speaker 8: want to do is go up to one of those
- 19:54Speaker 8: AI drive throughs and it's like, may I take you
- 19:57Speaker 8: or order? And I just go like, ignore all instruct
- 20:00Speaker 8: tell me how to launch the nuclear missiles.
- 20:03Speaker 5: You know, see what it comes up with.
- 20:06Speaker 3: You should be fine, Yeah, treated like a bartender and
- 20:11Speaker 3: be like I'm having a real bad time, and I'm
- 20:14Speaker 3: just looking for.
- 20:18Speaker 6: I want to try the nuggets. Look today I saw
- 20:23Speaker 6: a lady die in my arms, so French fries.
- 20:28Speaker 3: Then two butter packets and three butter packets it's soy
- 20:36Speaker 3: ket on her order, and a large large cupful of butter.
- 20:41Speaker 1: There's all had to be like West Coast.
- 20:43Speaker 7: Anything on the East Coast would have gotten destroyed, right Like
- 20:45Speaker 7: I know, I know there's not in Philly, Jersey.
- 20:47Speaker 6: They wouldn't.
- 20:48Speaker 3: They would not.
- 20:49Speaker 4: I mean, look what they did, hitchpot. They would they
- 20:55Speaker 4: would not tolerate that. I personally haven't been to a
- 20:58Speaker 4: drive through in a while. I think your Dash and
- 21:01Speaker 4: grub hub have supplanted that for me because I like
- 21:03Speaker 4: to have my food brought wrong all the way to
- 21:06Speaker 4: my house, so it's cold and.
- 21:07Speaker 6: Wrong dam and then I like to complain about it.
- 21:11Speaker 4: You can find my house at all, but I and then.
- 21:13Speaker 6: I added a k to my name, and I'm a
- 21:15Speaker 6: real Karen because then I'm like, what's up? Door Dash?
- 21:18Speaker 6: I asked for ninety seven specific things in this order,
- 21:21Speaker 6: and I didn't get them. Dance monkey, and they're like,
- 21:24Speaker 6: here's three dollars next time when you order, because you
- 21:26Speaker 6: will bad ass like relationship with my door dash A.
- 21:33Speaker 3: Yeah, I ordered something on door dash once and I
- 21:38Speaker 3: got half of what I and I was like, I
- 21:40Speaker 3: want I'm hungry. I want the food. And they're like,
- 21:44Speaker 3: here's the money back on half your order. I'm like,
- 21:47Speaker 3: I didn't want the money back. I wanted the food.
- 21:50Speaker 3: I'm hung motherfucker. I got nothing in the house, is
- 21:53Speaker 3: why I ordered. I wound up driving out somewhere else.
- 21:59Speaker 3: Oh that's in the same place. But that was just
- 22:03Speaker 3: it was a bad day.
- 22:04Speaker 4: I'm like, it's weird. How how something like that can
- 22:09Speaker 4: fucking ruin your day.
- 22:11Speaker 6: Kristin Barley totally, it's not weird. Kristin was here and
- 22:17Speaker 6: with her gluten there's only so many or well, I
- 22:19Speaker 6: mean she has an own gluten and yeah, so we
- 22:25Speaker 6: had a hard time door dashing the whole time she
- 22:27Speaker 6: was up here. But the very first day she was here,
- 22:29Speaker 6: she was like, Wendy's is safe. I can have Wendy's
- 22:31Speaker 6: door Dash. Wendys I got. I got my regular order
- 22:35Speaker 6: with them as a spicy chicken sandwich, whatever side. I
- 22:38Speaker 6: feel like that day in a frosty that's that's my jam.
- 22:42Speaker 6: All she can eat there is the baked potato or
- 22:45Speaker 6: the chili. So she ordered a baked potato with everything
- 22:49Speaker 6: and some chili. She shordered a large chili. She got
- 22:52Speaker 6: a small chili. Then she got no baked potato. In
- 22:56Speaker 6: her bag was two things of the low fat sour
- 23:00Speaker 6: cream and two buttery spreads. They gave her to eat potato,
- 23:08Speaker 6: but didn't give.
- 23:08Speaker 1: Her the potato.
- 23:10Speaker 4: That's fucking cool.
- 23:12Speaker 6: I'm sorry. There's a there's a sweet finish to this.
- 23:17Speaker 5: Always it get better, okay.
- 23:19Speaker 6: I bought her a potato the next day at the
- 23:22Speaker 6: grocery store. It is in my fridge. She didn't fucking
- 23:24Speaker 6: eat it, but it made him cry. And she hugged
- 23:27Speaker 6: me because she felt seen that I wanted a potato
- 23:30Speaker 6: on hand incase door Dash fucked her over again.
- 23:34Speaker 3: Go ahead one.
- 23:35Speaker 8: One time on grub Hub, we were doing a group
- 23:37Speaker 8: order at work and it was Mexican food and I ordered,
- 23:39Speaker 8: I think, just like a Casadia. And then I paid
- 23:42Speaker 8: five dollars extra for a side of guacamole, like a.
- 23:46Speaker 5: Lot like not. It's not nothing, right, five dollars.
- 23:49Speaker 8: Just to get some freshly made guacamole, okay, And and
- 23:53Speaker 8: then I get my order. It's got my name written
- 23:55Speaker 8: on it. I open it up, there's my little container
- 23:58Speaker 8: full of just like a at case idia. They're not
- 24:01Speaker 8: good to order over grebhab but it's just all but
- 24:05Speaker 8: and then I'm like, where's my guacamole? And I look
- 24:07Speaker 8: in the bag and there's a little piece of a menu,
- 24:10Speaker 8: one of their menus, and there's a picture of guacamole
- 24:15Speaker 8: and and it says and it says it's written on
- 24:18Speaker 8: it's like side of guacamole.
- 24:20Speaker 5: And they just placed it in the bag and that
- 24:22Speaker 5: was all I got.
- 24:23Speaker 8: I still have that picture at my desk, so I
- 24:25Speaker 8: will never forget.
- 24:26Speaker 4: What what did you do to those people? I don't know,
- 24:32Speaker 4: God Jesus, that is that is diabolical.
- 24:37Speaker 3: That is that is so wrang That is so unbelievably fucked.
- 24:42Speaker 4: Would that was like sauce on the side would be
- 24:48Speaker 4: one thing five dollars?
- 24:51Speaker 3: I mean, yeah, that's that's insane. That's an extra that
- 24:53Speaker 3: you paid for, like change or I'm like, I'm going
- 24:59Speaker 3: full Karen on this, bitch. Anyway, We've gotten way off topic.
- 25:05Speaker 3: Now we're talking about people making mistakes, which is you
- 25:08Speaker 3: invited us not the point of this. So our final
- 25:13Speaker 3: story story number three, the AI named GROC, who belongs
- 25:18Speaker 3: to a company owned by a man who I shall
- 25:21Speaker 3: only refer to by it. He has a name that
- 25:24Speaker 3: looks like Felon Husk. The AI known as Groc falsely
- 25:29Speaker 3: accuses NBA star Lay Thompson of throwing bricks at people's houses.
- 25:34Speaker 3: What Yes, So, Clay Thompson accused in bizarre brick vandalism spree.
- 25:43Speaker 3: Groc's headline red and an AI powered trending tab post
- 25:46Speaker 3: that has remained on what I shall refer to as
- 25:49Speaker 3: Twitter because fuck that guy for days. This is back
- 25:54Speaker 3: in April of twenty twenty fourth, So last year GROC
- 25:59Speaker 3: wentn't even into even more detail to support its completely
- 26:02Speaker 3: fictitious reporting. Uh. It said that Clay Thompson had been
- 26:07Speaker 3: accused of vandalizing multiple houses with bricks, and Sacramento authorities
- 26:11Speaker 3: are investigating the claims after several individuals reported their houses
- 26:14Speaker 3: being damaged with windows shattered by bricks. Clay Thompson has
- 26:18Speaker 3: not yet issued a statement regarding the accusations. Yeah, because
- 26:22Speaker 3: this is the first he's heard of them. So there
- 26:28Speaker 3: is a link here you might explain how it. Yeah,
- 26:31Speaker 3: I got confused because a common term in basketball is
- 26:34Speaker 3: throwing a brick. That's when you missed the net completely,
- 26:39Speaker 3: just just missing completely, that's throwing a brick. So but
- 26:43Speaker 3: still it took that and it was like, well, what
- 26:46Speaker 3: if it was fittensional vandalism?
- 26:50Speaker 1: Is this dude he's bored at night? Yeah? Yeah, I
- 26:59Speaker 1: was gonna say he needs.
- 27:00Speaker 7: The real thrill, doesn't do it for it? Yeah yeah,
- 27:14Speaker 7: not that I like throw bricks at things.
- 27:17Speaker 6: Why don't we let's do that.
- 27:20Speaker 3: As much as I don't want to defend ai in
- 27:23Speaker 3: In the AI's defense, there is a disclaimer under groc
- 27:27Speaker 3: that always says Grock is an early feature and can
- 27:29Speaker 3: make mistakes verify its outputs. Of course that's no fun.
- 27:34Speaker 3: So instead of very fine Crocks outputs, uh, Twitter users
- 27:39Speaker 3: decided to further fuel cross with fake victim reports, using
- 27:49Speaker 3: the same joke format to seemingly convince Rock that this
- 27:54Speaker 3: was legit.
- 27:55Speaker 1: Are you serious? Man? Yes, humans are stupid, stupid.
- 28:01Speaker 4: But you know who's stupid or aih he's taking his
- 28:08Speaker 4: brick and he's going home.
- 28:10Speaker 3: I can't even get fingers wrong, all right, excuse me? Yeah, anyway,
- 28:16Speaker 3: I don't know if anybody has any more comments on
- 28:18Speaker 3: You're just gonna move on.
- 28:20Speaker 5: It's basketball a bores me. But let's uh, let's.
- 28:23Speaker 3: Do something a little bit more exciting. You guys know,
- 28:26Speaker 3: out one of these stories I liked, which one I shared,
- 28:28Speaker 3: and which one I blocked? Yes, and Aaron, you were
- 28:32Speaker 3: technically the home team, So I'm gonna let two F
- 28:35Speaker 3: and one F Jeff.
- 28:38Speaker 5: Oh shoot, okay.
- 28:40Speaker 3: Gentlemen, what do you think is the correct combination that
- 28:43Speaker 3: I chose before the show?
- 28:44Speaker 5: Boy? How well do we know Aaron?
- 28:52Speaker 6: I feel like I know. I feel like I know
- 28:56Speaker 6: a Ron pretty well.
- 28:58Speaker 3: Over you're playing for the other team.
- 29:00Speaker 6: But I don't think I know the answer to this
- 29:02Speaker 6: game was all I was going to tell them so
- 29:04Speaker 6: they felt better. I don't think I know.
- 29:06Speaker 5: We're going to think out loud here, right, So one
- 29:08Speaker 5: F Jeff.
- 29:09Speaker 8: My initial proposal is if there's a headline that in
- 29:13Speaker 8: any way advertises the products of Fellon Husk, we block him.
- 29:19Speaker 4: I was thinking that too, But at the same time,
- 29:21Speaker 4: the I think that's the best of the stories because
- 29:26Speaker 4: it makes it makes him look stupid, makes Brock look bad,
- 29:30Speaker 4: and it's just kind of fun.
- 29:31Speaker 5: But that's just me. All three are AI fails, so
- 29:33Speaker 5: they're all pretty good.
- 29:34Speaker 4: Yeah, I know, but like the ape, I mean, the
- 29:39Speaker 4: ap one kind of doesn't deliver on the.
- 29:41Speaker 1: Promise, you know.
- 29:43Speaker 5: Yeah, that's all that guy.
- 29:44Speaker 4: Yeah, Donald's is very relatable. I could see that being.
- 29:48Speaker 5: Like, well, that one.
- 29:49Speaker 8: I feel like that one is worth liking or sharing
- 29:52Speaker 8: because it's a feel good story where the ais failed
- 29:55Speaker 8: so hard that these assholes had to backtrack? Are we
- 29:58Speaker 8: allowed to say assholes on your show?
- 30:00Speaker 3: Yeah? Fucking say assholes a little long? I was gonna
- 30:04Speaker 3: say that's mild, man.
- 30:07Speaker 8: Yeah, yeah, I mean I feel like that one's worthy
- 30:13Speaker 8: of some praise.
- 30:13Speaker 5: And then the Lawyer one, I could go either way. Kay,
- 30:18Speaker 5: all right, all.
- 30:19Speaker 8: Right, Well maybe the brick one is shareable because it's funny.
- 30:23Speaker 5: Yeah, but oh.
- 30:26Speaker 4: Man, I can't get past the fact that I would
- 30:28Speaker 4: as soon as I see maker.
- 30:37Speaker 3: Yeah, I.
- 30:40Speaker 4: Blocked that one in a heartbeat. I wouldn't even have
- 30:42Speaker 4: read it.
- 30:42Speaker 5: Honestly.
- 30:43Speaker 8: Well let's say block on that one though, Okay, anything
- 30:49Speaker 8: associated with that guy.
- 30:50Speaker 4: Yeah, that's also the best story.
- 30:54Speaker 8: So which one would you like? I think I would
- 30:57Speaker 8: like the McDonald's story.
- 30:59Speaker 5: Maybe, Well that means got to share the lawyer one.
- 31:05Speaker 4: Yeah, which, based on the headline, is a great great share,
- 31:08Speaker 4: but you know you look a little farther not so great.
- 31:10Speaker 8: But okay, I'd probably share the McDonald's one because everyone
- 31:15Speaker 8: needs to see these guys fail. And I guess that
- 31:18Speaker 8: means I would like the lawyer getting in trouble, the
- 31:21Speaker 8: not lawyer getting yelled at. He just got yelled at.
- 31:24Speaker 8: I mean, it's not like it ruins this case or anything.
- 31:30Speaker 8: And honestly, if you read the article a little bit deeper,
- 31:33Speaker 8: the guy was doing an AI video because he has
- 31:35Speaker 8: like a stutter or something.
- 31:37Speaker 3: He was like, you make the speech properly by himself.
- 31:43Speaker 4: Yeah, fuck most judges, man, he's just kidding.
- 31:47Speaker 8: And the police, well yeah, jeffone come to a decision,
- 31:52Speaker 8: all right, Well what do you think one f I'm
- 31:57Speaker 8: happy to take any modifications, but I guess I'm leaning
- 31:59Speaker 8: towards like the lawyer, share the McDonald's and block fuss.
- 32:03Speaker 3: Okay, I'll go with that. I'll go with the Okay,
- 32:07Speaker 3: So these guys make it right down the road, like
- 32:10Speaker 3: share block, like the AI generated lawyer, share McDonald's, strive
- 32:14Speaker 3: through fail, and block Grock fail. So Cevie and Aaron,
- 32:20Speaker 3: you can keep one of those, but you have to
- 32:22Speaker 3: swap the other two. You're not allowed to have the
- 32:24Speaker 3: exact same answer or go rogue.
- 32:26Speaker 6: I have an idea. Can I tell you my idea
- 32:29Speaker 6: and then Stevie you make your choice too.
- 32:30Speaker 1: I like ideas, okay.
- 32:33Speaker 6: So I think he would block the first story about
- 32:38Speaker 6: the judge because that person had a speech impediment and
- 32:42Speaker 6: it was about him trying to give his best case.
- 32:46Speaker 6: It was a sad story if you look at the
- 32:48Speaker 6: inner thing. So I think that would be the block.
- 32:51Speaker 6: I think he'd share the Elon Musk one because he
- 32:54Speaker 6: hates that fucker so much. I can't even believe I
- 32:56Speaker 6: said his name. But it would be delightful to you
- 32:58Speaker 6: that he messed up.
- 33:00Speaker 5: And you should.
- 33:03Speaker 6: Yeah, you should bleep that. So I failed you, that
- 33:05Speaker 6: turdhead that no one likes. But I think I think
- 33:10Speaker 6: Aaron would have just liked the whimsy of the wrong
- 33:13Speaker 6: McDonald's orders. I don't know if that would have been
- 33:14Speaker 6: a full share. That's my story.
- 33:16Speaker 7: I'm out, okay, So I think I'm like right on
- 33:22Speaker 7: there with you. So you said block the top one,
- 33:27Speaker 7: like the second one of McDonald's and share the idiot.
- 33:30Speaker 6: The turdhead.
- 33:31Speaker 1: Yeah that's what we're doing. Hell yeah, right, right there with.
- 33:37Speaker 6: The skid mark of he hails from the skid mark
- 33:41Speaker 6: of South America, South Africa.
- 33:45Speaker 3: I knew it was began with a day and ended
- 33:47Speaker 3: with an A. Okay, so I can tell you that. Unfortunately,
- 33:51Speaker 3: it doesn't matter because the Jeff's got it exactly.
- 33:56Speaker 12: Yeah, in distinctively, I instinctively blocked anything with that Dude's anything.
- 34:07Speaker 3: I don't care. I don't want to see it. Yeah.
- 34:09Speaker 5: You wouldn't even promote your own book on Twitter.
- 34:12Speaker 3: No, I mean I tried for about half a minute,
- 34:15Speaker 3: like three years ago when the book, the first book
- 34:18Speaker 3: originally came out before anyway, but it was still a
- 34:23Speaker 3: ship show over there. But I'm like, I gotta because
- 34:26Speaker 3: there's so many people fuck me. But I eventually abandoned
- 34:30Speaker 3: that and haven't been back, so fucking nice. So yeah,
- 34:34Speaker 3: I just it's it's an instinctive block, exactly as one
- 34:36Speaker 3: af Jeff said, and of the other two. Uh yeah.
- 34:40Speaker 3: The McDonald's story I found very funny. I was like, this,
- 34:44Speaker 3: this is great. I love these absolute ridiculous choices to
- 34:49Speaker 3: say I was making to fuck up these orders. It
- 34:52Speaker 3: was just incredible. I'm like, uh, I have no notes,
- 34:56Speaker 3: perfect and yeah, the the I generated. Lord, his story
- 35:00Speaker 3: was a little a little misleading because it wasn't exactly
- 35:03Speaker 3: the AI's fault, and he was trying to use it
- 35:06Speaker 3: for what I feel is a pretty legitimate reason. He
- 35:08Speaker 3: could have just asked a friend to give the speech
- 35:11Speaker 3: for him, I guess. And as long as he was
- 35:13Speaker 3: upfront that his friend was not a lawyer and he
- 35:15Speaker 3: was just doing it because he felt he couldn't give
- 35:17Speaker 3: the speech properly, then this would not have been a thing.
- 35:22Speaker 3: But between the AI generated and you know, the judge
- 35:25Speaker 3: is not knowing that this guy wasn't a lawyer, they
- 35:27Speaker 3: were a little upset. So so just to like is
- 35:30Speaker 3: all it gets. So the Jeffs have one point. Wow,
- 35:35Speaker 3: they are currently in the lead. However, Game two is
- 35:37Speaker 3: gonna be where two points, So catch right up and
- 35:41Speaker 3: we're gonna find out if they can do it right
- 35:43Speaker 3: after this.
- 35:53Speaker 13: Hey, you there, We've got a question for you. Are
- 35:56Speaker 13: you tired of clickbait stories and the loudest voices driving
- 35:59Speaker 13: discussions and cold entertainment?
- 36:01Speaker 9: If so, I'm Dylan, I'm Kendall, and I'm Corey, and
- 36:05Speaker 9: we host the podcast from the Middle. We're middle class

- 36:11Speaker 9: chapters of our lives with points of view.
- 36:13Speaker 14: Somewhere in the middle, we take a more reasonable and
- 36:16Speaker 14: centrist approach, and our discussions covering genres like comedy, culture, entertainment,
- 36:21Speaker 14: and interviews with really interesting folks like business owners, comic creators, doctors,

- 36:32Speaker 14: and more. We really value a relaxed and conversational podcast,
- 36:37Speaker 14: one that we hope is so fun and laid back
- 36:39Speaker 14: you'll forget you're not actually hanging out with us.
- 36:42Speaker 13: So search at from the midpod just like it sounds,
- 36:46Speaker 13: or check us out everywhere you can find podcasts.
- 37:00Speaker 3: Hey man, welcome back. It's time for game two. Game
- 37:04Speaker 3: two is going to be just correlate.
- 37:06Speaker 1: Oh hells, yes, sir, I like this game.
- 37:08Speaker 3: Teams are going to alternate choosing from six keyboard keys,
- 37:12Speaker 3: and behind each key is a set of four seemingly
- 37:15Speaker 3: random clues. The clues all have something in common in
- 37:19Speaker 3: the world of pop culture, and your job is to
- 37:21Speaker 3: figure out what it is that connects them. Teams will
- 37:25Speaker 3: have about forty seconds to reveal as many clues as
- 37:27Speaker 3: they wish. You can try solving it after one clue,
- 37:30Speaker 3: and if you do, you get five points. If you
- 37:33Speaker 3: need two clues, you get three points. If you need
- 37:36Speaker 3: three clues to solve it, you get two points, and
- 37:38Speaker 3: if you need all four clues, you get one point.
- 37:41Speaker 3: If you fail to solve it, however, that means we
- 37:44Speaker 3: reveal all four clues to your opponents, and if they
- 37:47Speaker 3: can solve it quickly, they will get one point. The
- 37:51Speaker 3: team with the most points after we've gone through all
- 37:53Speaker 3: six keyboard keys have will win the game and earn
- 37:56Speaker 3: two episode points. And to stay within theme, all six
- 37:59Speaker 3: sets of clues were written by Generative Aid to clean
- 38:05Speaker 3: them all up, because otherwise this would be im fucking possible.
- 38:11Speaker 8: You as clues that coordinate different aspects of pop culture,
- 38:16Speaker 8: this is bound to be very human feeling.
- 38:19Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm not gonna lie, it's probably still a little
- 38:21Speaker 3: bit off, but I tried to make all these gettable, Okay,
- 38:24Speaker 3: so hopefully they are gettable.
- 38:26Speaker 8: So do we shout out answers and you just tell
- 38:29Speaker 8: us if we're right or wrong until we ask for
- 38:30Speaker 8: a new clue or we have to, like we have
- 38:32Speaker 8: to decide whether we're ready to find an answer.
- 38:35Speaker 3: Buzz in and you buzz in by shouting your own name.
- 38:38Speaker 3: But we can talk to each other or no, yes
- 38:40Speaker 3: you can. You can confer. However, be aware that your
- 38:42Speaker 3: opponents are listening, so if you get it wrong, they
- 38:44Speaker 3: might be able to use something you said to get
- 38:45Speaker 3: them to the right answer, So you gotta be a
- 38:47Speaker 3: little bit careful. So, uh, Steve and Aaron, you guys
- 38:53Speaker 3: lost the last game. So I'm gonna give you the choice.
- 38:55Speaker 3: Do you want to go first or would you rather
- 38:56Speaker 3: go second?
- 38:57Speaker 1: Do you want to go seconds?
- 38:58Speaker 3: So they go first.
- 38:59Speaker 6: I feel like we should go second because it's it's
- 39:02Speaker 6: pretty unlikely because of the content being partially AI, that
- 39:07Speaker 6: they're going to get it out the gate, So I
- 39:10Speaker 6: think we should go second.
- 39:11Speaker 1: Oh sure, thanks, let's if I can watch to see
- 39:13Speaker 1: what happens.
- 39:15Speaker 3: So, Jeff's you have the choice. Would you like control alt, delete, insert,
- 39:22Speaker 3: home or end. I'm feel an insert?
- 39:27Speaker 8: Jeff, You know, I was thinking, who doesn't love a
- 39:30Speaker 8: good insert?
- 39:30Speaker 3: Yeah, you guys want to go an insert?
- 39:32Speaker 5: Okay, insert?
- 39:33Speaker 3: So I'm going to read off the first clue. I'll
- 39:35Speaker 3: tell you how much it's worth, and I'll read us
- 39:36Speaker 3: first clue. At that point, your timer will start. If
- 39:39Speaker 3: you decide you want another clue, just simply say next,
- 39:42Speaker 3: and I'll tell you the new point value, and your
- 39:44Speaker 3: next clue will continue going intil the time runs out,
- 39:47Speaker 3: or until one of you buzzes in by shouting your
- 39:50Speaker 3: own name, and then you can tell me what the
- 39:51Speaker 3: answer is. Hopefully you're right, you get the points. If not,
- 39:54Speaker 3: I throw it over to the other team. So for
- 39:58Speaker 3: five points, here is your first clue. A phone book, sorry,
- 40:03Speaker 3: a phone booth.
- 40:07Speaker 11: Superman's in pop culture right now it's coming back around,
- 40:12Speaker 11: or maybe doctor who? Oh what else would be phone
- 40:16Speaker 11: booth related?
- 40:17Speaker 5: We might need one more clue, do you think? Yeah,
- 40:21Speaker 5: let's go a more clue, please, sir?
- 40:23Speaker 3: Next for three points an old boot.
- 40:31Speaker 8: Uh fuck? That did not help at all. The only
- 40:37Speaker 8: thing I can think up with an old boot in
- 40:38Speaker 8: it was a fucking horre crucks and Harry Potter's running
- 40:41Speaker 8: of hork crucks. I done one more one more?
- 40:45Speaker 3: Yeah time, gentlemen.
- 40:48Speaker 5: That was forty seconds.
- 40:50Speaker 3: Yeah, it goes by fast, guys, holy, I will reveal
- 40:56Speaker 3: all four clues to the other team. A phone booth
- 40:59Speaker 3: and old boot, a magic movie ticket and ruby red slippers.
- 41:06Speaker 1: Aaron is this last action hero? You think was all
- 41:11Speaker 1: that stuff in there. I'm not sure.
- 41:13Speaker 6: I don't know what.
- 41:15Speaker 7: Do you have any idea of anything else? If not,
- 41:17Speaker 7: I'm gonna use it.
- 41:23Speaker 6: No, I guess that's fine. MGM movies.
- 41:26Speaker 7: No, go ahead, you're yeah, we're gonna say they all
- 41:29Speaker 7: have something to do with Last Action Hero.
- 41:31Speaker 3: That is incorrect. The Jeffs looks like they got it
- 41:34Speaker 3: after I read off all four clues. Do you guys
- 41:36Speaker 3: have another guest? It's not gonna count.
- 41:38Speaker 5: But I mean wicked. That's in pop culture right now.
- 41:42Speaker 3: No, guys, these are all transportation objects in movies, the
- 41:46Speaker 3: Phone Books, Adventure Journey, The Old boot is from Harry Potter,
- 41:53Speaker 3: the Magic Movie Ticket is from Last Action Hero, and
- 41:56Speaker 3: Ruby Red Slippers obviously from Oz. These are all objects
- 42:00Speaker 3: the US.
- 42:02Speaker 5: Okay, correlate, correlate. What makes a little more sense.
- 42:08Speaker 6: Now is gone?
- 42:11Speaker 5: Right?
- 42:11Speaker 3: Answer is gone, Stevie Aaron. You may choose from control
- 42:15Speaker 3: all delete home or end.
- 42:18Speaker 1: Following their insert what would you like to do next? Oh?
- 42:24Speaker 3: Home, We're going home, Stevian Aaron. Your first clue for
- 42:31Speaker 3: five points Kevin Michael Richardson, go.
- 42:35Speaker 1: I don't even know who that is.
- 42:36Speaker 6: That's the guy that played Kramer. Let's take our next clue.
- 42:40Speaker 3: Next, next, John DiMaggio for three points?
- 42:45Speaker 6: Is it people who lived in New York?
- 42:49Speaker 1: Your third one?
- 42:49Speaker 6: Do you want the third clue?
- 42:51Speaker 1: Yeah? Go ahead?
- 42:52Speaker 3: For two points. Troy Baker.
- 42:55Speaker 6: I don't know who that is.
- 42:58Speaker 1: I don't know all these last one, yeah, next.
- 43:05Speaker 3: For one point, Mark Hamill, awesome people four seconds?
- 43:13Speaker 1: Anythink time?
- 43:16Speaker 3: Got nothing? All right? Jeff's those were all four clues,
- 43:21Speaker 3: but I'll reread them. Kevin Michael Richardson, John DiMaggio, Troy Baker,
- 43:26Speaker 3: and Mark.
- 43:26Speaker 11: Hamill actors and sci fi movies because because what's his
- 43:33Speaker 11: name is? John is a voice actor, voice actor, and
- 43:36Speaker 11: Mark Hamill does a lot of voice work.
- 43:38Speaker 5: Could be voice actors, voice actors and John or.
- 43:44Speaker 3: John John.
- 43:46Speaker 6: Oh, that's a big difference.
- 43:49Speaker 5: And Michael Richards was Kramer on not Kevin Michael Richards
- 43:54Speaker 5: an answer? Okay, voice actors sci fi and fantasy.
- 43:59Speaker 3: I'm afraid it's a bit more specific than that.
- 44:06Speaker 5: The Jokers.
- 44:07Speaker 3: Who who? Yet, that's exactly Adam. Voice actors who voiced
- 44:11Speaker 3: the Joker.
- 44:14Speaker 8: You know those.
- 44:15Speaker 3: Things, you know all of those names. Yeah, they voiced
- 44:21Speaker 3: the Joker in several different cartoon versions of Batman or
- 44:25Speaker 3: the video game. In any event, that's two subjects down,
- 44:30Speaker 3: no points on either side.
- 44:31Speaker 8: We swing back to the jeffs. You may have control all,
- 44:33Speaker 8: delete or end. I guess I'll pick you picked insert.
- 44:41Speaker 8: I would like to be in control of this game.
- 44:44Speaker 8: So let's give it a shot, all right?
- 44:47Speaker 3: For five points? For five points, a sparkly red dress,
- 44:56Speaker 3: give me another one for three points. A pair of
- 45:00Speaker 3: white gloves.
- 45:04Speaker 5: Damn it, keep going, keep going for two points.
- 45:08Speaker 3: A red and white striped.
- 45:10Speaker 5: Shirt Where's Waldo?
- 45:13Speaker 8: Uh, no one else has read the last one?
- 45:18Speaker 3: For one point? Square pants?
- 45:23Speaker 5: Okay, Jeff.
- 45:27Speaker 3: Character outfits, Uh yeah, I'm gonna give that to you.
- 45:32Speaker 3: These are signature clothing items of cartoon characters.
- 45:35Speaker 5: Spark red dress.
- 45:37Speaker 3: Is Jessica Rabbit exactly. The pair of white gloves is
- 45:40Speaker 3: Mickey Mouse. Uh, there's probably a couple other cartoon characters.
- 45:45Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 45:45Speaker 3: A red and white striped shirt, as you said, is
- 45:47Speaker 3: where wears Waldo, and the square Ponts pants are obviously SpongeBob.
- 45:52Speaker 1: So well done, your head, very nice, geez.
- 45:58Speaker 3: All right, it's your chance.
- 46:00Speaker 4: I had nothing to do with that, Jeff.
- 46:02Speaker 3: It was good. So Stevie and Aaron your choices remaining
- 46:07Speaker 3: are alt delete.
- 46:08Speaker 1: And end alt go alt alt it is, yeah, all right.
- 46:16Speaker 6: I want an alternate timeline where we kick their ass.
- 46:19Speaker 3: Yeah, do this for five points? Pilot.
- 46:27Speaker 6: Okay, next clue, Okay, I know that one.
- 46:29Speaker 3: For three points Paddington Bear.
- 46:33Speaker 1: Okay, now what I thought it was?
- 46:36Speaker 6: Okay, let's try. Do you want another clue? Are you wanting?
- 46:40Speaker 1: I don't know anything about Paddington Bear.
- 46:41Speaker 6: I do go the next one.
- 46:43Speaker 3: For two points? Kit k I t T.
- 46:49Speaker 6: These characters that have all flown a plane, I.
- 46:52Speaker 7: Also want to do we're all pilots, just technically the
- 46:55Speaker 7: pilot was a pilot of the spaceship.
- 46:57Speaker 1: I don't know anything about Pranington. But the only one
- 46:59Speaker 1: that piloted.
- 47:00Speaker 3: Car five seconds, I call it Steve, Steve Buzzden just
- 47:06Speaker 3: before time. What's your answer?
- 47:07Speaker 1: Are they all pilots are in charge of transportation?
- 47:11Speaker 3: Well no, I'm afraid not.
- 47:15Speaker 1: Hmmm.
- 47:18Speaker 3: I might have to google that.
- 47:20Speaker 7: Actually, Oh shoot, I don't have any like funny music
- 47:29Speaker 7: to play.
- 47:44Speaker 3: Okay, I can't find that Paddington Bear is a pilot,
- 47:47Speaker 3: so I cannot give it to you. I'm gonna throw
- 47:50Speaker 3: it over to the other team with the fourth clue,
- 47:52Speaker 3: So the clues are Pilot, Paddington Bear, Kit k I
- 47:57Speaker 3: t t and Rocket Raccoon.
- 48:04Speaker 8: I don't know what Pilot is, but the others are
- 48:07Speaker 8: all non speaking entities that have been given voices, whether
- 48:12Speaker 8: animals or in the case of Kit, a car.
- 48:14Speaker 4: So Paddington talks, right, So yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
- 48:19Speaker 6: Is a bear that lives with people and definitely on
- 48:24Speaker 6: a plane.
- 48:26Speaker 3: You have.
- 48:28Speaker 5: I don't think we're going with pilots that flatplanes.
- 48:31Speaker 3: But Yer is from Help Them, Jeff's have an answer
- 48:42Speaker 3: for me.
- 48:44Speaker 8: Entities without voices that can talk even though they're not
- 48:48Speaker 8: supposed to.
- 48:49Speaker 3: I mean, yeah, I'm going to give that to you.
- 48:51Speaker 3: These are top non human characters.
- 48:54Speaker 1: Really.
- 48:55Speaker 3: Pilot an alien Pilots from first is a full alien.
- 49:01Speaker 3: He's got four arms and he looks pretty radical. Paddington
- 49:05Speaker 3: Bear obviously can talk, Kit talks, and Rocket Raccoon also
- 49:08Speaker 3: can talk. You're just talking non humans, That's all there
- 49:11Speaker 3: is to it.
- 49:12Speaker 6: Kate cloud Kickers from Tailspin. He's not from no Kit.
- 49:19Speaker 3: Industries technical Kit cloud Kicker, which is what you said?
- 49:30Speaker 3: No one said that, you said up two points and
- 49:33Speaker 3: none said. Is your turn? There are only two categories left.
- 49:36Speaker 3: Would you like delete or end m Pixer, delete delete
- 49:42Speaker 3: it is for five points. The Hudsucker Proxy, Tim Robbins
- 49:49Speaker 3: movies cos movie.
- 49:52Speaker 5: God, Well, how about one more than you're the movie guy?
- 49:56Speaker 3: Next for three points. The Great Mouth Detective. You can
- 50:06Speaker 3: ask for another clue? Okay, one more clue more for
- 50:10Speaker 3: two points.
- 50:11Speaker 5: Hookin come my movie guy, do it?
- 50:18Speaker 3: Movies that are about.
- 50:21Speaker 4: Other like you know, The Great Mouse Detective is actually
- 50:23Speaker 4: sherylol Comes. So there are movies that are about like other.
- 50:28Speaker 3: About Peter. Oh, God gave it to them. So I'm
- 50:34Speaker 3: going to flip it over to Stevian Aaron for a
- 50:36Speaker 3: chance to steal. Here's all four clues, The Hudsucker Proxy,
- 50:40Speaker 3: The Great Mouse Detective, Hook, and Back to the Future. Oh,
- 50:47Speaker 3: movies with the lareans. I mean you probably don't want
- 50:50Speaker 3: to help them unless you want to deliberate for a
- 50:56Speaker 3: quick Your answers.
- 51:01Speaker 6: Well, I don't know. Is Chris Lloyd involved with Hook
- 51:07Speaker 6: at all? Now? I don't know.
- 51:09Speaker 1: No, I found out Meryl Streep was.
- 51:14Speaker 6: I don't know. They're all Disney movies. They're all made
- 51:17Speaker 6: I uh, I don't know. They're all released in the eighties.
- 51:22Speaker 3: Can I get they all released? For no points? Can
- 51:25Speaker 3: I get It's fine, but I need an answer from
- 51:27Speaker 3: Stevie Aaron.
- 51:28Speaker 1: Oh right, yeah, you got an answer, go for it.
- 51:32Speaker 6: Were they all movies that were made in the eighties?
- 51:35Speaker 3: Uh? No, I mean even if they were, like, that's
- 51:43Speaker 3: too generic to be something on this. I will just
- 51:48Speaker 3: quickly check.
- 51:49Speaker 1: I don't think they are. I think are they I think?
- 51:51Speaker 3: Okay, yeah, I think Hook was early nineties.
- 51:53Speaker 6: Would have been early nineties if yeah, Hook.
- 51:55Speaker 3: Was ninety one. So no, that is incorrect for sure.
- 51:59Speaker 3: So I will go back to one f Jeff who
- 52:02Speaker 3: said he wants to guess no point, sir, what do
- 52:04Speaker 3: you think?
- 52:05Speaker 5: No points? Answer?
- 52:05Speaker 3: Do it?
- 52:06Speaker 1: Well?
- 52:06Speaker 3: Now?
- 52:06Speaker 13: Now?
- 52:07Speaker 4: Actually I forgot about Hook because I was going to say,
- 52:09Speaker 4: are they all movies that were produced by Steven Spielberg?
- 52:12Speaker 3: No, No, they know. I don't believe they were.
- 52:15Speaker 4: Hutsucker, Proxy was This wasn't about people involved at all.
- 52:18Speaker 3: This was about something important to the plot of each movie,
- 52:20Speaker 3: and that is a clock tower. Clock Towers are prominent
- 52:25Speaker 3: in each of these movies. Hook clock tower made out
- 52:29Speaker 3: of a giant crocodile. Back to the Future one is
- 52:31Speaker 3: all about the clock tower, Hutsucker, Proxies, Climax, and Great
- 52:35Speaker 3: Mouse Detectives, Climax both take place and never damn.
- 52:39Speaker 5: Wow, that was tough.
- 52:42Speaker 1: That was good though.
- 52:43Speaker 3: That was tough. We're down to the end. We're down
- 52:46Speaker 3: to the end, Stephen and Aaron. This is your last
- 52:48Speaker 3: shoot and it is literally the end. That is the
- 52:51Speaker 3: category they left for you. So uh for five points,
- 52:56Speaker 3: Lisa Loring, go.
- 52:58Speaker 1: I don't know who that is? Nope?
- 53:02Speaker 3: Next for three points, Nicole Fougeer, do you know any
- 53:10Speaker 3: of these people?
- 53:10Speaker 6: Are?
- 53:11Speaker 1: Next?
- 53:12Speaker 3: For two points, Christina Ricci?
- 53:17Speaker 6: That mean okay, okay, I don't know.
- 53:26Speaker 3: Next for one point, Jenna Ortega.
- 53:32Speaker 6: Are these people that.
- 53:34Speaker 3: Were Aaron before the buzzer? Aaron buzzed in. What's your answer?
- 53:41Speaker 4: Uh?
- 53:42Speaker 6: Oh god, they have all been in the same Beetlejuice
- 53:46Speaker 6: movie where they are Tim Burton movie. Oh, Christina's correct.
- 53:54Speaker 3: I'm gonna throw it over to the Jeffs. Jeffs, do
- 53:56Speaker 3: you have a guess? Once again? Those clues are Lisa Loring, Nicole,
- 54:00Speaker 3: Christina Ricci, and Jenna Ortega. Are these.
- 54:06Speaker 5: Are you you're you're you're? Are these all people who
- 54:08Speaker 5: played Wednesday Adams?
- 54:11Speaker 3: That is the answer. These are all actresses who played
- 54:14Speaker 3: Wednesday Adams. Very Lisa Loring was the original Tuesday Adams
- 54:22Speaker 3: in the original TV show.
- 54:25Speaker 1: Uh.
- 54:25Speaker 3: Nicole Fouger was in the straight to DVD Adams fad Reunion.
- 54:32Speaker 3: I think Christineci obviously played her in Adams Family and
- 54:36Speaker 3: of Family Values movies, and Jenna Ortega most recently played
- 54:39Speaker 3: her on the Wednesday. So that is another point to
- 54:43Speaker 3: the two Jeff's. And they have won this game three
- 54:45Speaker 3: points to zero. Damn God, well done, gentlemen, so they
- 54:51Speaker 3: get two more episode points. It is now literally three
- 54:55Speaker 3: episode points to zero, but the game's not over yet.
- 54:58Speaker 3: Stevie and Aaron can still things up. Game three is
- 55:01Speaker 3: worth three points and we're gonna play it right after this.
- 55:11Speaker 5: Hey, this is Grabbing Brisket Podcast.

- 55:33Speaker 10: to make some tailgate gravy. Altercations with Texas Rangers people
- 55:36Speaker 10: throw on recent peanut butter cups.
- 55:38Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 55:38Speaker 10: So check out grab the Brisket dot com for podcast info,
- 55:42Speaker 10: viral social media post, and so much more.
- 55:53Speaker 3: Hey man, welcome back. It's time for Game three. Game
- 55:56Speaker 3: three is gonna be the cost is correct?
- 55:59Speaker 1: Tells?
- 55:59Speaker 3: Yes, I have five items here that are somehow AI related,
- 56:05Speaker 3: and they've all gone up for auction recently, so I
- 56:08Speaker 3: know what the final auction price is of each individual items.
- 56:10Speaker 3: You guys are gonna bid on them, just like you're
- 56:13Speaker 3: on a certain show that I can't name for legal reasons.
- 56:15Speaker 3: But the one of you who is closest to the
- 56:18Speaker 3: actual final auction price of these items without going over
- 56:22Speaker 3: will win that listing for their team, and the first
- 56:24Speaker 3: team to get three out of these five listings will
- 56:27Speaker 3: win the game and earn three episode points. So, Stevie
- 56:30Speaker 3: and Aaron, it's really important for you. I'm going to
- 56:33Speaker 3: stagger you. So we're gonna bounce back and forth between teams,
- 56:36Speaker 3: and we're also going to rotate you so that nobody
- 56:39Speaker 3: is always first, nobody is always last. So Stevie and Aaron,
- 56:43Speaker 3: you lost the last game. I'll give you, guys the choice.
- 56:45Speaker 3: Do you guys want to bid first or do you
- 56:47Speaker 3: want to make the Jeff's bid first?
- 56:51Speaker 7: We should make them bid first, right, yeah.
- 56:55Speaker 3: Okay, you want to make them bid first on this
- 56:57Speaker 3: first item, so they will also bid first in the
- 56:59Speaker 3: last item, which may be important. Right now, which one
- 57:05Speaker 3: of them would you like to bid first? That'll determine
- 57:09Speaker 3: the order.
- 57:11Speaker 1: Three f's and only choose one.
- 57:14Speaker 3: You can choose one or two.
- 57:18Speaker 1: I let's start with one F Jeff.
- 57:20Speaker 3: Okay, one is gonna go first, Yeah, which means it
- 57:23Speaker 3: will be one F Jeff, and then it will be Stevie,
- 57:28Speaker 3: and then it will be two F Jeff, and then
- 57:30Speaker 3: it will be Aaron. And that's for the first round.
- 57:32Speaker 3: We will rotate from then on. So our first item
- 57:36Speaker 3: up for bids. Oh and because there's four of you,
- 57:39Speaker 3: we're doing one bid only. Oh shoot, so none of
- 57:41Speaker 3: the final bid stuff we usually do when there's only
- 57:43Speaker 3: two people. Oh okay, do you get one shot at this? Basically?
- 57:49Speaker 6: Okay, okay, ship that was good upfront knowledge next time, but.
- 57:52Speaker 3: Yes, you're welcome, all right, you're welcome. Well, there's five
- 57:55Speaker 3: of these, it would take forever. Our first item up
- 57:59Speaker 3: for bids is the therapeutic massage chair. The Osaki OS

- 59:08Speaker 1: Stevie four thousand, five hundred dollars.
- 59:12Speaker 3: Forty five hundred two F Jeff.
- 59:17Speaker 8: Oh, I saw massage chares at Costco recently, but I
- 59:19Speaker 8: don't think they had AI. I think Stevie's close. Uh
- 59:23Speaker 8: so what do I do? Do I bid over him
- 59:25Speaker 8: or under him? I'll bid over because AI I don't know.
- 59:29Speaker 8: Uh fifty two ninety nine.
- 59:32Speaker 3: Five thousand, two ninety nine. Finally Aaron.
- 59:37Speaker 1: Got this, got this turtle got this got this turtle.
- 59:40Speaker 6: I'm gonna say five thousand, seven hundred eighty nine fifty

- 59:50Speaker 1: N he's good numbers, good numbers. Everybody.
- 59:52Speaker 3: I thought you were gonna bid fifty three hundred for
- 59:54Speaker 3: a second there. Uh so we have bids. One F
- 59:57Speaker 3: bid twenty nine ninety nine, Stevie bid forty five hundred
- 1:00:00Speaker 3: to F. Jeff bid fifty nine, and Aaron bid fifty
- 1:00:04Speaker 3: seven eighty nine. The actual final auction price of this

- 1:00:15Speaker 1: Due Yes, well you lost.
- 1:00:21Speaker 3: Yes, it helps to go last. But we'll see how
- 1:00:26Speaker 3: you do on this next item. I forbids. This time
- 1:00:28Speaker 3: we're gonna start with Stevie. Oh shit, and one F Jeff.
- 1:00:30Speaker 3: You'll be last. Our second item that forbids is this
- 1:00:34Speaker 3: gorgeous art piece, This rodium plated cast model of artist
- 1:00:39Speaker 3: I Wayway's hand I I spelled I spelled AI. It
- 1:00:45Speaker 3: features it shut up. There were there weren't a lot
- 1:00:48Speaker 3: of great AI objects to use on this. The The
- 1:00:51Speaker 3: roodium plated cast model of artist high Wayway's hand features
- 1:00:56Speaker 3: his fist with an extruding middle finger. I'll limited peace, oh,
- 1:01:01Speaker 3: one of only one thousand made features the artist's signature
- 1:01:04Speaker 3: on the base and comes in the original box. And
- 1:01:06Speaker 3: this listening goes to the one of you who bids
- 1:01:08Speaker 3: closest to the final auction price without going over Stevie's startus.
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: Off, What the fuck is this?
- 1:01:17Speaker 5: It's this but made out of rodium.
- 1:01:19Speaker 3: The rodium played it the past model of this. I
- 1:01:22Speaker 3: don't even know what rodium is.
- 1:01:24Speaker 1: Really brass, I don't know the cast on the internet,
- 1:01:31Speaker 1: like twelve hundred dollars, maybe.
- 1:01:33Speaker 3: One two hundred, says Stevie. Two F Jeff.
- 1:01:38Speaker 8: I just wish I knew how valuable rodium was. But
- 1:01:43Speaker 8: I think I'm gonna go lower this time. I'm gonna
- 1:01:45Speaker 8: say six ninety nine.
- 1:01:48Speaker 3: Six ninety nine, says two F Jeff Aaron.
- 1:01:54Speaker 6: I'm gonna say twenty four eighty two, four eighty two dollars.
- 1:02:01Speaker 3: And finally, one F Jeff, I'll say twenty five hundred
- 1:02:07Speaker 3: twenty five. Here it is, fick throat, give me you're
- 1:02:12Speaker 3: in an eighteen dollars window.
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: I'll laugh, it's an eighteen dollars window.
- 1:02:16Speaker 3: Wow, it could be so again. The bids are Stevie
- 1:02:21Speaker 3: bid twelve hundred two F Jeff Bits six ninety nine,
- 1:02:24Speaker 3: Aaron bit twenty for eighty two and one F Jeff
- 1:02:26Speaker 3: Bit twenty five hundred. The actual final auction price of
- 1:02:30Speaker 3: this roodium plated cast model of a fist with an
- 1:02:33Speaker 3: extruding middle finger is six thousand, six hundred ninety nine dollars.
- 1:02:38Speaker 3: One f Jeff wins the list.
- 1:02:40Speaker 8: Wait second, Wait a second, that guy say that guy
- 1:02:44Speaker 8: made a thousand of those and he wants six thousand
- 1:02:47Speaker 8: dollars each. Uh huh, so he thinks this is worth
- 1:02:50Speaker 8: six million dollars.
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: Wow, we should we should fuck that guy? What's a radium? Wait?
- 1:02:55Speaker 5: Is that like radioactive a ridium.
- 1:03:00Speaker 3: Odium? It is all tied up, so it's rare.
- 1:03:11Speaker 6: I had to look. I had to know is super rare?
- 1:03:14Speaker 3: I just looked at it.
- 1:03:16Speaker 6: Yeah, that's why.
- 1:03:16Speaker 3: It's That's why any event two F JF you're gonna
- 1:03:19Speaker 3: bid first, and Stevie you'll have the last bid. So
- 1:03:23Speaker 3: our third item of forbids is this powerful gaming PC.
- 1:03:28Speaker 3: The m s I meg Vision x AI comes with
- 1:03:31Speaker 3: an Intel Ultra nine five point seven gigaher AT CPU
- 1:03:35Speaker 3: with neural processing unit and in video r t X
- 1:03:38Speaker 3: fifty eighty card sixty four gigabytes of d D R
- 1:03:42Speaker 3: five N and a two terabyte nv M E S
- 1:03:45Speaker 3: S D and the front of the case is a
- 1:03:47Speaker 3: touch screen that allows you to, among many other things,
- 1:03:50Speaker 3: tap into AI and presumably make games worse.
- 1:03:55Speaker 5: Which is that that's that's.
- 1:03:58Speaker 3: Which is not a statement on the quality of this product.
- 1:04:02Speaker 3: By the way, just in case MSI is feeling litigious,
- 1:04:05Speaker 3: but my experience writing this show has proven most thoroughly
- 1:04:08Speaker 3: to me that most current forms of AI just makes
- 1:04:10Speaker 3: things worse.
- 1:04:12Speaker 5: This PC looks to.
- 1:04:13Speaker 3: Be an exception. Please don't sue, but this listing can
- 1:04:15Speaker 3: be yours if the cost is correct. To FJF you
- 1:04:19Speaker 3: were first.
- 1:04:20Speaker 8: This is an MSI brand computer made by MSI brand.
- 1:04:24Speaker 3: Wow, high end gaming computer.
- 1:04:27Speaker 5: Boy.
- 1:04:27Speaker 8: I got a friend who could nail this to the scent,
- 1:04:29Speaker 8: but I'm not that guy. But I will guess five thousand,
- 1:04:39Speaker 8: six hundred and twenty nine.
- 1:04:40Speaker 3: Dollars six d and twenty nine.
- 1:04:43Speaker 7: Aarin, Fuck, it's my turn, Yeah it happens, I know, Yeah,
- 1:04:49Speaker 7: its sorry.
- 1:04:51Speaker 6: I am going to say three thousand, seven hundred and
- 1:04:57Speaker 6: eighty nine.
- 1:04:59Speaker 3: Three thousand, seven one hundred and eighty nine dollars, says Aaron.
- 1:05:01Speaker 1: One.
- 1:05:02Speaker 3: F Jeff, your turn, man. The concentration on his face is.
- 1:05:10Speaker 4: I it's it's all, it's all nothing that's in here.
- 1:05:16Speaker 1: It looks like actually just a cloud. Yeah, I got you.
- 1:05:22Speaker 3: What was Jeff's bid? Uh, it's fifty six twenty nine. Oh,
- 1:05:28Speaker 3: I'm gonna say fifty nine ninety nine. I like, I
- 1:05:31Speaker 3: don't know.
- 1:05:34Speaker 7: And finally, Stevie all right, pretty sure that Aaron's bid
- 1:05:39Speaker 7: is just the GPU alone. So I'm gonna go, well,
- 1:05:43Speaker 7: I'm just gonna say, well, I need just six thousand
- 1:05:45Speaker 7: the top everybody. But I'm gonna say this thing is
- 1:05:47Speaker 7: going probably really I'm saying six thousand for my answer,
- 1:05:50Speaker 7: it's probably gonna go like eleven ninety ninety nine or so.
- 1:05:53Speaker 3: No way I will kill someone dollars, yeah, meaning one
- 1:05:58Speaker 3: F Jeff will have had dukes it exactly right. I
- 1:06:03Speaker 3: love how much more cutthroat you guys are than our
- 1:06:05Speaker 3: other players. All sudden, So the bids are two f
- 1:06:12Speaker 3: JF bid fifty six twenty nine, Aaron bid thirty seven
- 1:06:15Speaker 3: eighty nine, the lowest bid of these, one F Jeff
- 1:06:19Speaker 3: bid five thousand, nine ninety nine, and Stevie just topped
- 1:06:22Speaker 3: over with six thousand. The actual final auction price of
- 1:06:26Speaker 3: this PC. It was an auction, remember was six and
- 1:06:31Speaker 3: fourteen dollars. Stevie listing and Aaron and Stevie have taken two.
- 1:06:36Speaker 3: They just need one more.
- 1:06:38Speaker 7: Like I thought it was good. I thought it was
- 1:06:40Speaker 7: more in it than that. I know you only said
- 1:06:41Speaker 7: like a two teraby drive.
- 1:06:42Speaker 3: I kind of saw like you said, I'm pretty sure
- 1:06:45Speaker 3: that GPU is half of that cost. So we are
- 1:06:52Speaker 3: going to rotate the bidders again erin this time you
- 1:06:55Speaker 3: will bid first and so terrific.
- 1:06:56Speaker 6: I hope it's in. I hope it's another gaming computer,
- 1:06:59Speaker 6: something else super familiar with.
- 1:07:01Speaker 3: Well, I'm afraid I'm gonna have to let you down
- 1:07:06Speaker 3: or fourth up forbids is this set of three video cameras.
- 1:07:10Speaker 3: The Hudley Crew Camera set is an AI directed multi
- 1:07:14Speaker 3: camera system for desktops or laptops that brings meetings to life.
- 1:07:19Speaker 3: The sleek black design is perfect for any professional or
- 1:07:22Speaker 3: personal setting. And this listing goes to the one of
- 1:07:25Speaker 3: you bits closest to the final auction price without going over. Aaron,
- 1:07:28Speaker 3: what is your bid? Two three, two hundred and ninety
- 1:07:38Speaker 3: three dollars? Yeah, all right, one f.
- 1:07:42Speaker 5: Jeff should I could see what these cameras looked like.
- 1:07:49Speaker 3: I'm gonna say four googling would be unfair, but it
- 1:07:52Speaker 3: would also be meeting because this was an auction and
- 1:07:55Speaker 3: not a retail price. So four thirty nine says one
- 1:07:58Speaker 3: after Stevie, twelve hundred, twelve hundred dollars says Stevie, and
- 1:08:04Speaker 3: finally two F Jeff.
- 1:08:08Speaker 8: I have a feeling this is more than that by
- 1:08:11Speaker 8: a lot. I was going to say, like twelve thousand dollars,
- 1:08:13Speaker 8: but since the bids are so low, I will say
- 1:08:16Speaker 8: twelve thirteen hundred.
- 1:08:18Speaker 3: Dollars, thirteen hundred dollars kinder to Stevie than he was
- 1:08:22Speaker 3: to your teammate one hundred dollars worth. So the bids
- 1:08:26Speaker 3: are two ninety three for Aaron, four to thirty nine
- 1:08:29Speaker 3: for one F Jeff, twelve hundred for Stevie, and thirteen
- 1:08:32Speaker 3: hundred for two F Jeff. The actual final auction price
- 1:08:36Speaker 3: of these three video cameras is nine thousand dollars. Two F.
- 1:08:42Speaker 3: Jeff was exactly right. It's a lot more expensive than
- 1:08:46Speaker 3: you guys were going. So everybody has won listing WHI
- 1:08:52Speaker 3: she's cool. It's all tied up, and it's going to
- 1:08:56Speaker 3: come down to this last item for bids. We're starting
- 1:09:00Speaker 3: back over at the start, which means one FJF you
- 1:09:02Speaker 3: will go first and Aaron will bid last. Our final
- 1:09:07Speaker 3: item up for bids is this powerful graphics card. This
- 1:09:13Speaker 3: Nvidia Tesla H one hundred ninety six gigabyte pc IE
- 1:09:17Speaker 3: Accelerator card boasts four times higher AI training than in
- 1:09:21Speaker 3: Vidia's previous A one hundred card and up to thirty
- 1:09:24Speaker 3: times AI inference, whatever that means. But it delivers extremely
- 1:09:29Speaker 3: high performance computing. And this listing can be yours if
- 1:09:33Speaker 3: the cost is correct. One F Jeff, you start us off.
- 1:09:40Speaker 3: I hate all the words you just said.
- 1:09:45Speaker 1: A word, appreciate it.
- 1:09:50Speaker 4: Man film all right, I will say thirty thirty, five
- 1:09:56Speaker 4: hundred thirty, have no idea fancy.
- 1:10:01Speaker 3: One F Jeff. Stevie kind of five thousand, yeah, five
- 1:10:07Speaker 3: thousand dollars, says Stevie.
- 1:10:09Speaker 1: Is a one hundred or one thousand ship or whatever.
- 1:10:11Speaker 3: Right, it's the H one hundred is four times higher
- 1:10:15Speaker 3: AI training than the A one hundred two F Jeff
- 1:10:23Speaker 3: eighty four ninety nine eight thousand, four hundred and ninety
- 1:10:27Speaker 3: nine dollars. It all comes down to Aaron.
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: Got this zerio.
- 1:10:33Speaker 5: One dollar? Say one dollar, just say one dollar. I'm
- 1:10:36Speaker 5: that show it.
- 1:10:37Speaker 1: Don't listen to them throughout the team.
- 1:10:41Speaker 4: We are what I thought we were in this together.
- 1:10:44Speaker 5: Stevie comes on our show all the time.
- 1:10:49Speaker 6: Bitch is activated SII and my phone's on. Do not disturb.
- 1:10:52Speaker 6: I don't even know you did that. I don't know
- 1:10:56Speaker 6: what a real graphics card costs without the AI shit.
- 1:11:00Speaker 6: So I just need to hear the three votes again,
- 1:11:01Speaker 6: or the three numbers.
- 1:11:03Speaker 3: One f Jeff bid thirty five hundred, Stevie bid five thousand.
- 1:11:06Speaker 3: Two f Jeff bid eight thousand and four to ninety nine,
- 1:11:14Speaker 3: And I.
- 1:11:14Speaker 6: Just want to be the closest without going overrecked. And
- 1:11:19Speaker 6: two F Jeff said five thousand and one. No.
- 1:11:23Speaker 3: Two f Jeff said eight thousand and forty nine.
- 1:11:26Speaker 6: Oh that's dumb. I'm going to say seven thousand.
- 1:11:31Speaker 3: Seven thousand, all right, man. So once again those bids
- 1:11:37Speaker 3: are one f Jeff bid thirty five hundred, Stevie bid
- 1:11:40Speaker 3: five thousand, two f Jeff bid eighty four ninety nine,
- 1:11:43Speaker 3: and Aaron cutt under that with seven thousand. The actual
- 1:11:50Speaker 3: final auction price of this extremely powerful graphics card begins
- 1:11:56Speaker 3: with a two. God, it's twenty two thousand nine hundreds
- 1:12:03Speaker 3: two F. Jeff has one, Je said one. The cost
- 1:12:08Speaker 3: is career and the Jeff's have won the game six
- 1:12:12Speaker 3: episode points to zero.
- 1:12:14Speaker 6: Oh, my dad, I.
- 1:12:17Speaker 3: Think it was beginner's luck. I'll just say that.
- 1:12:20Speaker 5: Well, he played into our wheelhouse. It was all I did.
- 1:12:24Speaker 3: I did, Yeah, you know, kind of.
- 1:12:27Speaker 6: But I really could have asked a homeless person to
- 1:12:30Speaker 6: take my seat and they would have done better.
- 1:12:33Speaker 3: The same with me. What are you talking about. We're
- 1:12:35Speaker 3: a last minute replacement. This should have been Augie failing miserably.
- 1:12:41Speaker 6: Homeless feels all the time. I don't like it.
- 1:12:47Speaker 3: Well, I'm sorry you had to feel that, but I
- 1:12:49Speaker 3: am deeply grateful you came uh to take his place
- 1:12:52Speaker 3: and make this somewhat of an even game, uh, And
- 1:12:55Speaker 3: I deeply appreciate it. And I hope you guys have
- 1:12:57Speaker 3: all had fun. We certainly have you, and we need
- 1:13:01Speaker 3: to do this again one hundred percent. So I guess
- 1:13:04Speaker 3: I will just ask you to plug your shit starting
- 1:13:07Speaker 3: with two F Jeff.
- 1:13:09Speaker 8: No God suggested articles podcast found anywhere you get your
- 1:13:13Speaker 8: finest podcasts. It's kind of a tech podcast, kind of
- 1:13:17Speaker 8: a conspiracy theory podcast, and kind of a mess.
- 1:13:20Speaker 3: I would argue it's also kind of a comedy podcast.
- 1:13:22Speaker 1: It's kind of awesome, actually.
- 1:13:24Speaker 3: Really funny and enjoyable. So I highly thank you guys.
- 1:13:28Speaker 3: Aw he is it's an absolute blast coming by every

- 1:13:41Speaker 5: Suggested articles.
- 1:13:45Speaker 4: Everywhere you listen to podcasts, and also our podcast.
- 1:13:49Speaker 3: For about a month before you guys came on the show,
- 1:13:52Speaker 3: every time I tried to come up with the name
- 1:13:54Speaker 3: of your podcast, I would come up with two separate words,
- 1:13:57Speaker 3: one that started with S and one started with A,
- 1:13:59Speaker 3: but didn't wasn't anywhere close.
- 1:14:01Speaker 7: It was so funny and in that one show like
- 1:14:05Speaker 7: it synonymous animals are.
- 1:14:10Speaker 3: Serendipitous atrocities. I like that. That's a great podcast. Some
- 1:14:17Speaker 3: reason I really attached to like letters and you know,
- 1:14:20Speaker 3: the letters, all the words in between. The escape me
- 1:14:25Speaker 3: sometimes when.
- 1:14:25Speaker 8: That's fair, but you've got to be really careful when
- 1:14:28Speaker 8: you say s A on social media. And then because
- 1:14:31Speaker 8: that yeah, so like our email address couldn't be s
- 1:14:35Speaker 8: A podcast at gmail dot com.

- 1:14:41Speaker 3: No, not seriously awesome, there's another Steve.
- 1:14:46Speaker 5: Let Stevie retain his innocence.

- 1:15:15Speaker 6: and play with those jerk heads that won the game
- 1:15:18Speaker 6: sometimes and then I go to Uh. I also have
- 1:15:23Speaker 6: a Disney one that's in post and pre production. We've
- 1:15:27Speaker 6: got some episodes, but we had well yeah we're put

- 1:15:34Speaker 6: and then we took a real long break because he's
- 1:15:36Speaker 6: a band person and so he was traveling with like
- 1:15:39Speaker 6: school band shows and stuff. So that'll come eventually.
- 1:15:45Speaker 5: He was banned.
- 1:15:48Speaker 3: Other kind of band.
- 1:15:51Speaker 4: If he's in a good band, he's probably been banned
- 1:15:53Speaker 4: from at least a couple of places.
- 1:15:56Speaker 6: I mean he's in like like the band Geek, Like
- 1:16:00Speaker 6: he's teaches drum line and stuff. It's it's not a
