Paul was sharing the Gospel message and was up against great opposition. Corinth was a very busy seaport filled with the worship of multiple idols, temples for worshiping idols, prostitution, and brothels, and yet Paul saw the mission field here as a good and valuable one. God uses Paul to bring forth a large harvest for the kingdom in Corinth.
