- 0:40Speaker 3: Way you began. Welcome, Welcome, Welcome, you're listening to the
- 0:47Speaker 3: Sports Shock Show. I'm the Sports Shock Wayne Gandy. Good
- 0:50Speaker 3: morning to you out there and listening land. It's a
- 0:54Speaker 3: little chili here this morning, and Atlanta, Georgia rain in
- 0:59Speaker 3: the area for the next three four days here as
- 1:04Speaker 3: we try to climb my way towards Memorial Day and
- 1:08Speaker 3: get some sun, you know, some vitamin D get our
- 1:12Speaker 3: color back. You can see why once migrants from the
- 1:19Speaker 3: African region moved to places like Norway, or at that
- 1:24Speaker 3: point they would have known it was Norway, they were
- 1:27Speaker 3: just going north, stayed there a couple of thousand years,
- 1:33Speaker 3: and skin started becoming.
- 1:36Speaker 6: Lighter, lighter, ashy and lighter. Yeah, it started off as
- 1:41Speaker 6: ashy just lotion. Then for you knowing it was like, man,
- 1:46Speaker 6: you need a deeper SBF or whatever it is, and
- 1:50Speaker 6: malliets whatever they put.
- 1:52Speaker 3: In next thing, you know, they were calling them thoor
- 1:55Speaker 3: you know, a kind of stuff. Hair was changing color.
- 1:58Speaker 3: Comments Greg. You know he doesn't believe in that, he
- 2:00Speaker 3: thinks man.
- 2:02Speaker 6: Yeah, you know he never left the equator, I guess
- 2:07Speaker 6: side of it like he stayed super close to the sun.
- 2:10Speaker 6: That's it for me. But come good weekend, yes, yes,
- 2:15Speaker 6: good week, Good weekend.
- 2:17Speaker 3: Any funny jokes you've written in the last week, I'm
- 2:22Speaker 3: not Now I will share its three people walking the bar, not.
- 2:27Speaker 1: Like that, not like that. Uh I.
- 2:31Speaker 6: I've been recently working with somebody doing a series of
- 2:35Speaker 6: mental health presentations for like cities. Like yesterday we were
- 2:40Speaker 6: in Putnam County, which is I didn't know. They show
- 2:45Speaker 6: it on the news like it's local, it's nowhere, it's
- 2:48Speaker 6: nowhere near here. But uh I did a corporate show
- 2:52Speaker 6: and What's Today Thursday Tuesday night, I wrote a whole
- 2:59Speaker 6: set of work jokes because now the workplace is so restrictive,
- 3:04Speaker 6: I can't just go in with regular jokes.
- 3:06Speaker 1: You know what I mean.
- 3:07Speaker 6: I can't just go in being funny about regular life
- 3:10Speaker 6: because you can't joke about life at work. So comedy
- 3:14Speaker 6: hasn't come back yet, not in the workplace. And see
- 3:18Speaker 6: that's what I'm saying, I'm navigating. It's a workspace event.
- 3:22Speaker 6: Like everybody come here.
- 3:23Speaker 3: So us give me not anything necessarily that you wrote
- 3:27Speaker 3: of the last couple of days. And I'm saying, give
- 3:29Speaker 3: me a work joe, give me an example. Well, what's
- 3:32Speaker 3: a work joke? Well, I'm for example. One of the
- 3:36Speaker 3: things that I took note of is the last time
- 3:39Speaker 3: I actually worked at a job, something that wasn't invented.
- 3:45Speaker 3: Was that a self access key card thing? Like we
- 3:49Speaker 3: had a dude named Larry and that was it. Like
- 3:52Speaker 3: everybody now can let themselves in a building, we had
- 3:55Speaker 3: to physically wait on a dude to let us in
- 3:58Speaker 3: the building. And the dude I used to wait on
- 4:01Speaker 3: used to actually make you wait longer if you had
- 4:04Speaker 3: attitude if he was late.
- 4:06Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying, Like.
- 4:08Speaker 6: If you would get out and be like, come on, man,
- 4:11Speaker 6: grumbling gonna make you another three minutes late, you keep
- 4:14Speaker 6: on grumbling. So I sort of went that direction with it,
- 4:17Speaker 6: because you can't talk about gender or like pets or
- 4:22Speaker 6: anybody being heard or being mad at somebody, you know
- 4:25Speaker 6: what I mean. You nothing funny in life, uh not
- 4:28Speaker 6: at work. And now this is the thing I think
- 4:31Speaker 6: is interesting is the audience just taking the temperature of
- 4:35Speaker 6: the room. They'd go for all of these jokes that
- 4:39Speaker 6: I'm trying to eliminate. But the lady who runs the
- 4:43Speaker 6: board of commissioners sitting in the back of the room,
- 4:45Speaker 6: she don't want to hear that stuff. And that's basically
- 4:48Speaker 6: the person I'm trying to make sure it's satisfied. All
- 4:51Speaker 6: of these people are the target audience that I'm trying
- 4:57Speaker 6: to make sure laugh, but the person that has to
- 4:59Speaker 6: be satisfied as the lady that booked us.
- 5:01Speaker 3: So it's going back more to like a Bob Hope
- 5:06Speaker 3: kind of style.
- 5:07Speaker 6: Very monology, very observational, very very esoteric in that it's
- 5:20Speaker 6: all related just to work. I'm not talking about life
- 5:23Speaker 6: outside of work. I'm talking about experiences and things like
- 5:27Speaker 6: that that only relate to the job.
- 5:30Speaker 3: Well, speaking of jobs up in Pittsburgh with the Pirates,
- 5:34Speaker 3: one of the more funny situations that Big Kenny I
- 5:40Speaker 3: guess you can't really tell jokes about. Is the fight
- 5:44Speaker 3: that happened between the employee at PNC Park and one
- 5:48Speaker 3: of the.
- 5:49Speaker 1: Fans workplace violence.
- 5:50Speaker 3: See happen this past Sunday violence the Pirates took on
- 5:56Speaker 3: San Diego Padre, Great Vitty and speaking of old school.
- 6:04Speaker 3: The most impressive part of this, and there's a lot
- 6:07Speaker 3: of parts, you should google it. They haven't suspended the employee.
- 6:11Speaker 3: I'm quite sure he will get his job back because
- 6:14Speaker 3: he did at the beginning of this incident try to
- 6:18Speaker 3: diffuse it, try to de escalate it in a sense
- 6:22Speaker 3: that he wasn't quick to react, and then things and
- 6:26Speaker 3: words got set. It makes you wonder why and how
- 6:31Speaker 3: it looks like either the game, this is very early
- 6:35Speaker 3: in the game, or the game is completely over, and
- 6:40Speaker 3: so either these people are early getting in there. The
- 6:44Speaker 3: part when you look at the background there's really no
- 6:47Speaker 3: one there, So either these people have left the fans
- 6:50Speaker 3: and this is just some stragglers, or these are just
- 6:53Speaker 3: some of those early birds that get there. But there
- 6:56Speaker 3: is a confrontation between AP and C Park employee and
- 7:00Speaker 3: a fan that is just classic. It has all the
- 7:04Speaker 3: aspects of a true court case. When you talk about
- 7:10Speaker 3: who initiated did how long did it run? We got
- 7:15Speaker 3: some words by both people, We got some spinning, and
- 7:20Speaker 3: then then we get a belt being taken off. That
- 7:26Speaker 3: just sealed it with a boat. When you get around
- 7:31Speaker 3: to the PNC employee after being spin on, takes a
- 7:37Speaker 3: couple of steps back. Now I don't know what. Maybe
- 7:41Speaker 3: he's a father of a whole bunch of kids. But
- 7:45Speaker 3: I've really never seen anyone step back to take their
- 7:50Speaker 3: belt off and start attacking a man. If you've ever
- 7:58Speaker 3: usually seen that person already has the belt in their hand,
- 8:02Speaker 3: that's how they fight.
- 8:04Speaker 1: That's how John.
- 8:05Speaker 3: I never seen somebody step.
- 8:07Speaker 1: Quick steps back.
- 8:08Speaker 6: It takes his belt off and wraps it around like
- 8:11Speaker 6: his forearm, and then holds another and he goes, oh
- 8:14Speaker 6: you ready, okay, and they start doing it again.
- 8:20Speaker 3: But it is a very long and that's why I said,
- 8:26Speaker 3: you know, to the point where I don't know if
- 8:28Speaker 3: this gentleman is security himself the employee, but how this
- 8:35Speaker 3: goes down, No one in the park seems to have security,
- 8:40Speaker 3: So I guess if you are may be supposed to
- 8:43Speaker 3: be security, there's no reason for us to call security.
- 8:47Speaker 3: But both gentlemen willing to brawl, throw punches, say.
- 8:52Speaker 6: Words, park employee through a couple of nice little haymakers
- 8:59Speaker 6: and didn't look like he loss his footing. Yeah, we're
- 9:02Speaker 6: gonna have to work on him some some grippy shoes
- 9:05Speaker 6: or something, because work on his footwork when.
- 9:08Speaker 1: He if it's after the game. Yeah, and then a
- 9:13Speaker 1: lot of stuff on the surface.
- 9:14Speaker 3: Yeah, not your cheese and all that kind of stuff
- 9:17Speaker 3: that's on that that's that surface. But he did lose
- 9:21Speaker 3: his footing early on.
- 9:23Speaker 6: And it did look rather uh sparse as far as
- 9:27Speaker 6: people like. There weren't any other employees on some hey
- 9:32Speaker 6: got cool out, and there were only a couple of fans,
- 9:35Speaker 6: and none of them seemed to be directly involved with
- 9:38Speaker 6: the guy getting punched. I don't you know, I'm not
- 9:40Speaker 6: sure what was happening here. Now, how do you tell
- 9:43Speaker 6: this joke at the company picnic? Oh you can't, you can't,
- 9:48Speaker 6: you can't, can't take can't tell any jokes about really,
- 9:52Speaker 6: I don't want and and see this is the thing
- 9:55Speaker 6: people laugh at.
- 9:59Speaker 3: The human condition.
- 10:01Speaker 6: We all experience anger, We've all had a situation where
- 10:05Speaker 6: fisticuffs was the result. But to say it at work
- 10:10Speaker 6: and someone go, well, you know, we're trying to do
- 10:13Speaker 6: a campaign against workplace violence, and it's just so restricted
- 10:18Speaker 6: at work now that even asking questions of people in
- 10:23Speaker 6: front of you at work events, they're nervous to answer.
- 10:26Speaker 3: So we have the Christmas party. We can't.
- 10:29Speaker 1: Now, that's different. That's different. That's different.
- 10:33Speaker 6: Yesterday was a work event on work property during work hours.
- 10:37Speaker 1: No, man, we're at work. It's a company Christmas party.
- 10:40Speaker 6: Oh no, I'm saying for the company Christmas party. That's
- 10:42Speaker 6: after hours outside of the workplace. We're not in the
- 10:45Speaker 6: work building where we've rented out like a dining hall
- 10:49Speaker 6: or something. And they get loose then because the alcohol
- 10:52Speaker 6: is free, and they'll request.
- 10:54Speaker 1: Do something nasty okay, and.
- 10:57Speaker 6: Those are the women say something nasty okay, maam, thank you.
- 11:02Speaker 3: Oh well, this employee, as I said, they have suspended him.
- 11:07Speaker 3: But that sounds like it's just protocol in this incident. Uh,
- 11:12Speaker 3: it does seem like by watching it they will have
- 11:15Speaker 3: to whatever union he's in, they got to go by
- 11:18Speaker 3: those rules. But definitely the fan, I would say, was
- 11:24Speaker 3: the agitator.
- 11:25Speaker 1: Now they're they're there.
- 11:27Speaker 6: From the information that I'm quickly gathering as you explain
- 11:34Speaker 6: this to me, they're saying he was an usher, so
- 11:36Speaker 6: he's not security.
- 11:37Speaker 1: So was that a violation of his Well, I didn't know.
- 11:41Speaker 1: I don't know if he was. Yeah, they said he
- 11:43Speaker 1: was usher.
- 11:44Speaker 3: It was a game day usher, that's right.
- 11:46Speaker 1: Okay, So that's not security, is it.
- 11:49Speaker 3: No, I don't know what the usher's authority.
- 11:53Speaker 6: And see, that's what I would like to find that out,
- 11:55Speaker 6: because maybe he was a line stepper. He overstepped his
- 11:59Speaker 6: bounds just even confronting somebody. That's your job to go
- 12:03Speaker 6: get somebody to confront people.
- 12:05Speaker 3: Well, ushers would have the right, I mean they have
- 12:09Speaker 3: the right to ask you to get out of those seats.
- 12:11Speaker 1: Yeah, and that and that you.
- 12:12Speaker 3: Know where their security line stopped.
- 12:15Speaker 6: I would love to see. This is gonna be interesting.
- 12:17Speaker 6: We'll be back more to Sports Jock Show. Right after this.
- 12:24Speaker 1: Stopping.
- 12:25Speaker 3: The party went up home.

- 15:25Speaker 12: Now it's time to present the Jock of the Day
- 15:28Speaker 12: on the Sports Jock Shows.
- 15:29Speaker 1: Taken it to a completely different level this.
- 15:32Speaker 16: Year where we highlight an accolade that has taken their
- 15:35Speaker 16: game to the next level.
- 15:55Speaker 3: Welcome back to This Boy Shock Show Up This Boy Shock,
- 15:58Speaker 3: Wayne Gande. Lakers led Barron Scott has been accused of
- 16:03Speaker 3: sexually assaulting a high school girl thirty eight years ago,
- 16:10Speaker 3: which would put this around eight nineteen eighty six nineteen
- 16:14Speaker 3: eighty seven Hayley Dylan. It's filed a twenty page lawsuit
- 16:20Speaker 3: accusing barn Scott, the three time NBA champ, of sexual battery,
- 16:26Speaker 3: sexual assault, false imprisonment, and intentional infliction of emotional distress.
- 16:35Speaker 3: Dylan was fifteen at the time, while Scott was twenty six.
- 16:43Speaker 3: Barron Scott has gone on record. His attorney says that
- 16:48Speaker 3: he did not deny that the incident took place, but
- 16:54Speaker 3: said he thought she was of adult age at that time.
- 17:02Speaker 3: And we've seen you know, Barn Scott now is sixty
- 17:05Speaker 3: seven and this young lady would be about fifty three
- 17:12Speaker 3: fifty four ish now. And the big thing with this
- 17:18Speaker 3: outside of Coach Scott admitting that he remembers that the
- 17:24Speaker 3: incident occurred, so man, she has always been in these
- 17:28Speaker 3: cases the timeframe of basically almost forty years. And I
- 17:38Speaker 3: wonder if he hadn't taken the moment to say that,
- 17:42Speaker 3: what was she going to use as her evidence of
- 17:50Speaker 3: the incident? And if she had that already, why didn't
- 17:54Speaker 3: she use those things?
- 17:57Speaker 1: Then?
- 18:01Speaker 17: Yeah, it's always like an interesting part of like when
- 18:05Speaker 17: that much time has passed, we're really just taking someone's
- 18:08Speaker 17: word for it, and we don't want to seem insensitive
- 18:12Speaker 17: or or or callous by it.
- 18:14Speaker 6: Why why don't we want to but just by w
- 18:18Speaker 6: why don't you want to say you're talking about sending
- 18:20Speaker 6: me to present, I'm worried about your sensitive I'm worried
- 18:23Speaker 6: about your feeling.
- 18:24Speaker 17: By immediately immediately like dismissing it, like like or let's
- 18:31Speaker 17: saying like why don't take so long? Or what evidence
- 18:34Speaker 17: is there that that that those kinds of things always
- 18:38Speaker 17: come up when it's this length of time, and and
- 18:42Speaker 17: now with in California they are allowed to You would
- 18:46Speaker 17: think that, okay, the statute of limitations has has passed,
- 18:50Speaker 17: but now that's allowed. These kinds of things are allowed
- 18:54Speaker 17: under California law, that even after the statute of limitations,
- 18:58Speaker 17: they're still like a loose pull to still follow a lawsuit.
- 19:04Speaker 17: But when it's when it's just someone's word, you know it,
- 19:08Speaker 17: some people may immediately agree and some people may immediately
- 19:12Speaker 17: disagree in believing the victim or not.
- 19:16Speaker 3: Now, in this case, as in a lot of cases
- 19:19Speaker 3: we talk about Big Kenny, the young Ladys Dylan is
- 19:23Speaker 3: also accusing Campbell High School, where the alleged incident occurred,
- 19:29Speaker 3: of not protecting her from Scott. And we've always discussed
- 19:32Speaker 3: this of how sometimes you go and do whatever you
- 19:40Speaker 3: was choosing to do. You went in the door you
- 19:43Speaker 3: weren't supposed to go into, You went into an area,
- 19:47Speaker 3: you know, just restricted. Principal Johnson told everybody to stay
- 19:52Speaker 3: in the gym, torged off to the auditorium. We've all
- 19:57Speaker 3: been to high school. Come on, now you've drift off
- 20:00Speaker 3: to wherever it is that you had decided yes, and
- 20:05Speaker 3: now it's the school fault. So even on that case,
- 20:09Speaker 3: how do you prove is the high school's fault of
- 20:14Speaker 3: not protecting you.
- 20:20Speaker 1: When it.
- 20:23Speaker 6: When it comes, when the details surrounding these types of
- 20:27Speaker 6: cases are as such, the length of time that it's been,
- 20:36Speaker 6: which is for me, the main factor. I can't confirm
- 20:42Speaker 6: or deny any of this now Byron Scott, god blessing
- 20:48Speaker 6: or being a man of honor and forthrightness, I've always
- 20:53Speaker 6: been more let them people do their job, the police
- 20:57Speaker 6: if you investigate, and then investigate, sir.
- 21:00Speaker 1: But for me to come out and be.
- 21:02Speaker 6: Like, yeah, I did it has never really been my way.
- 21:07Speaker 6: And I got that advice from a lawyer. Just no,
- 21:10Speaker 6: never never admit to anything. So even with him saying
- 21:15Speaker 6: I remember the incident, for that incident to be some
- 21:19Speaker 6: forty years old, I think that that loophole and statute
- 21:24Speaker 6: of limitation thing is a very it's it's the criminal
- 21:29Speaker 6: justice systems nil. In the first two three years, it's
- 21:34Speaker 6: gonna run amok. We don't know where this thing will go.
- 21:38Speaker 6: People will be getting jammed up. People, There are gonna
- 21:41Speaker 6: be people moving to California to jam folks up, Do
- 21:44Speaker 6: you see what I'm saying.
- 21:45Speaker 3: Well, wouldn't it be easier because I'm more like Bayron Scott.
- 21:48Speaker 3: I'm going to if something went down, I'm going to
- 21:53Speaker 3: own my part of it.
- 21:56Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm saying the only.
- 21:57Speaker 3: Way I can discredit what you might say is to
- 22:01Speaker 3: discredit the part. Take away the part that I try
- 22:05Speaker 3: to like, I didn't do it right now, this other
- 22:08Speaker 3: stuff you're saying we did when I took you into
- 22:11Speaker 3: the closet. Right now, the judge, the jury can believe
- 22:18Speaker 3: that I'm being more honest, right because yes, I was
- 22:22Speaker 3: whatever and I asked you into this room, right and yeah,
- 22:26Speaker 3: you went into all this, I went to grabbing at
- 22:28Speaker 3: you and all. Now that part never happened, never happened
- 22:31Speaker 3: right right now. See, And that's that's what I'm saying now.
- 22:34Speaker 6: And this is the the the unfair part I believe
- 22:37Speaker 6: about the law is that for me to say, yeah,
- 22:44Speaker 6: I remember going into the closet with you and touching.
- 22:49Speaker 6: But is already too much information from me incriminating myself.
- 22:56Speaker 3: Well, I'm just a man of truth. No, No, I'm
- 22:59Speaker 3: not trying to get I'm trying to know. I'm just
- 23:00Speaker 3: saying the difference between me and whatever the lawyer told you.
- 23:03Speaker 3: I'm not trying to get off of something that I
- 23:05Speaker 3: know I did right, right, I'm gonna own my part
- 23:08Speaker 3: of this. Unfortunately, I would have probably owned it from
- 23:11Speaker 3: the time it happened.
- 23:13Speaker 6: Well, and I'm saying, based on it put something on
- 23:17Speaker 6: me that did not occur, right, But I'm saying, based
- 23:19Speaker 6: on how they charge you, you can either it's a
- 23:24Speaker 6: all or nothing things. Either you guilty of all of
- 23:27Speaker 6: that stuff or you didn't do it. Because if you say, yeah,
- 23:31Speaker 6: I went into the then all of that other stuff
- 23:33Speaker 6: obviously happened.
- 23:34Speaker 1: Is how they're prosecuting you.
- 23:36Speaker 3: No, I can. I can dispel that part well. Me
- 23:41Speaker 3: being somewhere and me doing whatever else you said we
- 23:46Speaker 3: did is two different things. I can admit that I
- 23:49Speaker 3: was there with you, but I didn't do the drug,
- 23:52Speaker 3: or I didn't grab your pants. You're you making that
- 23:56Speaker 3: part up. You start being like Brian Banks was with
- 24:01Speaker 3: the young lady behind the school. He never denied that
- 24:05Speaker 3: we him and the girl went behind the building. She
- 24:08Speaker 3: came out with the idea that I raped her, only
- 24:11Speaker 3: to find out years later did she lie. We'll be
- 24:16Speaker 3: back more to Sports Job Show right after this raising
- 24:19Speaker 3: the corn.
- 24:20Speaker 1: On my mind class Buss. I was laughing all the time.
- 24:23Speaker 1: I was above the beats, and.
- 24:25Speaker 6: Buss thought I was had a chance to say things.
- 24:28Speaker 3: Please, won't.
- 24:31Speaker 4: Don't go Wayne Born of the Sports Jock Show with
- 24:33Speaker 4: Wayne Dandius coming up next.
- 24:37Speaker 1: Uh oh, brah, it's buzzed.
- 24:39Speaker 18: Oh yeah yeah, he's starting with the woots.
- 24:43Speaker 12: And now a speech. I just want to say that
- 24:46Speaker 12: friendship is about heart, art and brain.
- 24:50Speaker 1: Who's with me? Good thing is he knows when he's buzzed, and.
- 24:53Speaker 19: My brain is saying, when it's time to go home, somebody.
- 24:56Speaker 1: Call me a ride.
- 24:57Speaker 3: Love that guy, me too, know your warning signs, call
- 25:01Speaker 3: for a ride when it's time to go home.
- 25:03Speaker 1: Buzz driving is drunk driving. A message from MITSA and

- 25:19Speaker 1: What do you do?
- 25:20Speaker 20: What thousands have you? Plead guilty whether you are or not.
- 25:25Speaker 20: Cash Bell makes poverty a crime. That's why the Bell

- 26:41Speaker 4: And now back to the Sports Giant Wayne Amy.
- 26:48Speaker 2: In the red Zone.
- 27:19Speaker 3: Wesh back to the sw shock Shop. I'm this what
- 27:21Speaker 3: Shock wing In did. Good morning to you out there
- 27:24Speaker 3: listening Land Big Kenny Bad Producer, command you Greg in
- 27:30Speaker 3: the building. This morning we left talking about Byron Scott
- 27:34Speaker 3: accused of sexual assaulting a couple of charges on there.
- 27:39Speaker 3: As we said, sexual battery, sexual assault, false imprisonment, intentional
- 27:45Speaker 3: infliction of emotional distress. This is from nineteen eighty seven.
- 27:52Speaker 3: In this case, Byron Scott now is sixty four. He's
- 27:56Speaker 3: had a strong NBA career, has going on to be
- 28:01Speaker 3: coach head coaching the NBA a couple of places, and
- 28:06Speaker 3: he is now sixty four years of age, and this
- 28:10Speaker 3: falls into his lap. A lot of people in these cases,
- 28:14Speaker 3: especially when you have conversations with other males, like here
- 28:18Speaker 3: on the panel starts thinking about the time frame thirty
- 28:26Speaker 3: eight years affident after an incident. Some of these things
- 28:30Speaker 3: have become because time has kind of moved on to
- 28:33Speaker 3: where certain attitudes, certain mindsets now in our society. Just
- 28:41Speaker 3: like we started to show off with Big Kenny talking
- 28:43Speaker 3: about jokes. Yes, there was no kind of wrong place
- 28:50Speaker 3: to joke thirty eight years ago.
- 28:53Speaker 6: Now there was no wrong subject to joke about it. It
- 28:56Speaker 6: was Richard Pryor on gas.
- 28:59Speaker 3: It was that kind of a joke, and the audience
- 29:02Speaker 3: for the most part offended or not laughed. You know,
- 29:07Speaker 3: you didn't get that kind of thing. Now you got
- 29:11Speaker 3: to figure out what jokes to tell, when to tell
- 29:14Speaker 3: the joke. I said all that, not saying that what's
- 29:17Speaker 3: going on with mister Scott and miss Dylan is a joke,
- 29:20Speaker 3: But the sensibilities of how things occur, like when you
- 29:25Speaker 3: see the different charges of sexual battery, sexual assault, now
- 29:32Speaker 3: those things could just easily fall on that you put
- 29:36Speaker 3: your hand on her back, yes, as you walked her
- 29:40Speaker 3: in a room. Yes, you know, thirty forty years ago
- 29:44Speaker 3: these charges more was more that you must have hit
- 29:47Speaker 3: the person. Yeah, you had to have physically restrained her
- 29:51Speaker 3: to be you know, and we've learned, and I'm in
- 29:55Speaker 3: it's not right or wrong. I'm saying it just seems
- 29:58Speaker 3: that imprisonment is just in front of the door. Yes,
- 30:01Speaker 3: you didn't lock the door, you didn't barricade the door,
- 30:06Speaker 3: but that's just kind of how time has and I
- 30:08Speaker 3: wouldn't say watered down, it's just humans change in all
- 30:13Speaker 3: fastests of life. So now sexual battery, sexual assault, false imprisonment,
- 30:19Speaker 3: and intentional infliction of emotional distress. She's going after Byron Scott.
- 30:24Speaker 3: He's also going after the high school. As I said,
- 30:27Speaker 3: a lot of these times in these companies and schools
- 30:30Speaker 3: and colleges that get roped in so fast on things
- 30:34Speaker 3: that just because we were the place that it happened,
- 30:39Speaker 3: and all of a sudden it's like, oh, you didn't
- 30:41Speaker 3: offer me enough security. Well I did, and well area that.
- 30:45Speaker 6: You were supposed to be when you were, And now
- 30:47Speaker 6: I wanted to ask for you about that part. Do
- 30:49Speaker 6: you think that they're going to be saying that you
- 30:51Speaker 6: didn't offer me enough security based on which decade standards
- 30:55Speaker 6: like now security standards in school require that you have
- 30:59Speaker 6: a camera in so many locations and there's got to
- 31:03Speaker 6: be a staff member or a member of the administration
- 31:10Speaker 6: standing somewhere. So are you going to say that back then,
- 31:14Speaker 6: whatever rules and regulations were in place, that's what allowed
- 31:19Speaker 6: me to slip through the cracks. Because if you're trying
- 31:22Speaker 6: to say that, you know you didn't have camera that's
- 31:24Speaker 6: somewhat invented.
- 31:25Speaker 3: Then, So how is.
- 31:26Speaker 6: It that you're going to prove the principal, I'm sure,
- 31:30Speaker 6: the administration, the school board, none of these people are
- 31:32Speaker 6: in place now, So how is it that you're going
- 31:35Speaker 6: to hold them accountable for your safety in that moment?
- 31:40Speaker 3: Well, I'm taking myself back to high school. I know
- 31:43Speaker 3: that even that far ago eighty seven, I would have
- 31:46Speaker 3: been of Souphomore's Union High school, and I played multiple sports,
- 31:52Speaker 3: was in the band there. You were not supposed to
- 31:54Speaker 3: be in any area that your event wasn't going on,
- 31:59Speaker 3: right there wasn't somebody they didn't hire ten other people
- 32:03Speaker 3: and put them in those areas. The guard doors that
- 32:06Speaker 3: was locked, and I think in this story, y'all can
- 32:09Speaker 3: help me out. She says, they went into a locked
- 32:12Speaker 3: room or a room that they were not supposed to
- 32:15Speaker 3: be in. So you're admitting right there, and I don't
- 32:21Speaker 3: know that the school is supposed to have to offer
- 32:25Speaker 3: security personnel.
- 32:29Speaker 6: For violating Yeah, for violating rules and regulations, I'm saying,
- 32:33Speaker 6: but we just talked about the sensibilities. A lot of
- 32:38Speaker 6: sensibilities conspire to put pressure on school districts to accept
- 32:43Speaker 6: that kind.
- 32:44Speaker 3: But those same sensibilities are to me, are starting to
- 32:48Speaker 3: arc back and let people defend themselves. Yes, yes, because
- 32:52Speaker 3: at least on that point we do start seeing a
- 32:56Speaker 3: little more of the money grafh thing is starting to
- 32:59Speaker 3: be exposed. Yeah that even if half of it happened
- 33:04Speaker 3: and you embellished the other half, what kind of thing
- 33:07Speaker 3: to get the most money? Right? One and two happened, four,
- 33:11Speaker 3: five and six didn't, But you figured I'll put it
- 33:15Speaker 3: all on you.
- 33:16Speaker 1: I'll uh dwhite Howard.
- 33:19Speaker 3: One of the big things with the white wild the
- 33:21Speaker 3: white is on and stay on the ship with me.
- 33:24Speaker 3: For a man who stood up like, hey, I'm not
- 33:26Speaker 3: gonna let you.
- 33:27Speaker 6: Extorre No, no, no, And I went to the freak off.
- 33:33Speaker 6: But I wasn't raping nobody, y'all. No, No, I'm just
- 33:37Speaker 6: regular bisexual and that's it. And that's how I was
- 33:40Speaker 6: saying earlier. I'm more of a person like that. Yeah,
- 33:43Speaker 6: I owe my part and what it was. I've always
- 33:46Speaker 6: found that I'm not gonna let you sit here and
- 33:47Speaker 6: just be adding things on there that you will not
- 33:50Speaker 6: have to discuss the elephant in the room, because I'm
- 33:53Speaker 6: riding in on the elephant. You know what I mean,
- 33:55Speaker 6: there will be no secret what's going on type stuff.
- 33:58Speaker 11: Yeah, so we will see how go ahead, No good
- 34:01Speaker 11: and good morning. But back to what you were saying,
- 34:03Speaker 11: the respect factor of you knew where we were in school,
- 34:07Speaker 11: where you're supposed to be, whether that position was even
- 34:10Speaker 11: if you went to a at the school activity such
- 34:12Speaker 11: as a game, freshmen said here sophomores, and most times
- 34:16Speaker 11: those school administrators that they weren't resource officers.
- 34:20Speaker 1: They had their eye on you and they knew where
- 34:22Speaker 1: you had to do.
- 34:22Speaker 11: And now you hear about what schools they're fighting over
- 34:24Speaker 11: budgets and for resource officers, or they're cutting budgets to
- 34:28Speaker 11: have the resource officers. And back to what you're saying,
- 34:31Speaker 11: it's like you knew and the respect factor of where
- 34:33Speaker 11: you're supposed to be at right.
- 34:35Speaker 6: But what I'm concerned about, and what most will affect
- 34:39Speaker 6: Byron's Scott, I believe is as we keep talking about
- 34:43Speaker 6: these sensibilities, you have now moved into a place where
- 34:50Speaker 6: it's no longer where you should have been where you
- 34:53Speaker 6: should Again, the responsibility isn't on the individual anymore. They
- 35:00Speaker 6: want to place that responsibility on a whole Another set
- 35:05Speaker 6: of standards.
- 35:06Speaker 3: And what I'm reading right here, it says the Lakers
- 35:09Speaker 3: were on campus filming some kind of advertisement for the season.
- 35:17Speaker 3: They fro and Scott told the film crew as they
- 35:23Speaker 3: wrapped up for today that the young lady could stay.
- 35:27Speaker 3: He didn't have to leave. At that point, Miss Dylon
- 35:30Speaker 3: at that age, sounds like she said she proud. She
- 35:34Speaker 3: was proud and excited to be able to show off
- 35:37Speaker 3: her school to someone she admired. Before Scott found an
- 35:42Speaker 3: unmarked janitor's closet, tested the lock, and I mean I
- 35:50Speaker 3: guess the lock. It must have been open, because she
- 35:53Speaker 3: said it tested the lock and turned off the lights.
- 35:57Speaker 1: See, so that's how the school gets in.
- 35:59Speaker 3: Then forcibly grab Hayley by the arm, pulled her inside
- 36:04Speaker 3: the room. And that's that part where I say sexual.
- 36:06Speaker 1: Yeah, assault, sexual battery, kidnapping, all.
- 36:10Speaker 3: That that those terms used to have to be more
- 36:14Speaker 3: punching and kicking, not just grabbing. But we have learned
- 36:19Speaker 3: through time now just almost touching without permission is registered
- 36:25Speaker 3: sexual assault. So we will see how this case. And
- 36:29Speaker 3: we're not I'm not here to try to get Byron
- 36:31Speaker 3: Scott off or something he did thirty eight years ago.
- 36:34Speaker 3: I'm just here as my position is to let each
- 36:38Speaker 3: count breathe and don't just condemn because it could have
- 36:42Speaker 3: been simple as he did grab by the arm. But
- 36:45Speaker 3: when you see sexual sort excuse me, most images is
- 36:50Speaker 3: something fully.
- 36:52Speaker 1: Sexual and now you know close off.
- 36:55Speaker 3: Or you know something orally or something like that was really.
- 37:00Speaker 1: Some sort of bruise.
- 37:01Speaker 6: And when we're talking about sensibilities, I think that one
- 37:06Speaker 6: of the things that we keep running into, and I
- 37:09Speaker 6: was trying to say this earlier is and I keep
- 37:13Speaker 6: forgetting that the you keep talking about knowing where they
- 37:19Speaker 6: were supposed to be, like you can't go to the gym,
- 37:22Speaker 6: you can't go to a locked place if she can
- 37:26Speaker 6: prove just like she said that somehow he took her
- 37:31Speaker 6: to a place that was supposed to be secured.
- 37:33Speaker 1: And that's it's all in the language.
- 37:35Speaker 6: I don't think that right now, all of these cases
- 37:38Speaker 6: coming to light is some sort of coincidence. It's because
- 37:43Speaker 6: of the sensibilities. Now it's easier to bring them to trial.
- 37:47Speaker 6: So people are just little stuff like that, well he
- 37:50Speaker 6: tested the lock. Oh okay, so the school load the
- 37:52Speaker 6: hook now because it should have been locked.
- 37:54Speaker 3: That kind of stuff correct, And then that's why I
- 37:56Speaker 3: said the unfairness becomes that people start having to decide,
- 38:02Speaker 3: especially like school districts or certain schools, do we just
- 38:07Speaker 3: pay off or do we fight it? And when you
- 38:10Speaker 3: really hear the story, it really was an individual more
- 38:15Speaker 3: than it was. It's like the teacher that was in
- 38:17Speaker 3: Miami pleasuring himself and got caught right, you know, I'm
- 38:25Speaker 3: quite sure lawyer will try to use the school and
- 38:29Speaker 3: it's like like the lady who had the boy rubbing up, Like,
- 38:33Speaker 3: how we y'all hired him. We'll be back more to
- 38:38Speaker 3: Sports Talk show right after this. We hired him to
- 38:40Speaker 3: teach math.

- 41:36Speaker 3: Big Candy waiting back to this what shock show? I'm
- 41:41Speaker 3: in this work shock Winge Candy Bulls Chicago Bulls starred
- 41:47Speaker 3: Tony Kuk coach back in the nineties with those Bulls teams.
- 41:53Speaker 3: Says he would have been just as big as Luca
- 41:56Speaker 3: Duncans if he hadn't been drafted the Bulls. You think, Luke,
- 42:01Speaker 3: you think Tony somewhere else? Independently? Did you see that? Now?
- 42:07Speaker 3: I saw the talent. I just didn't see the charisma Tony,
- 42:12Speaker 3: But maybe that.
- 42:12Speaker 1: Was play more defense than Luca.
- 42:16Speaker 6: Now, now does charisma have to come into it? Was
- 42:21Speaker 6: is he talking about popularity and reach outside of the game,
- 42:27Speaker 6: because Luca seems to be, you know, someone that they
- 42:31Speaker 6: do a lot of ads with or at least want
- 42:33Speaker 6: to do advocacy.
- 42:34Speaker 3: See is that I would have been much bigger star
- 42:38Speaker 3: going to the Bulls and playing under Jordan. Maybe he
- 42:42Speaker 3: didn't get to show.
- 42:43Speaker 17: His full That's that's hard to see, only because when
- 42:47Speaker 17: he came into the league there was still a uh
- 42:52Speaker 17: certain certain way that people viewed European players. And yeah,
- 42:57Speaker 17: he was looked at as like, you know, a Croatian
- 43:00Speaker 17: Magic Johnson type of player. But if he was, if
- 43:06Speaker 17: he played similar to Luca, he wouldn't be able to
- 43:08Speaker 17: play that way then when he when he came into
- 43:11Speaker 17: the league. I mean maybe now, but then I there
- 43:17Speaker 17: was nobody really looked at that way as far as
- 43:20Speaker 17: a European player coming into the league having that kind
- 43:23Speaker 17: of that kind of hype and attention.
- 43:26Speaker 3: Well, I think Scottie Pippen got his due to be
- 43:32Speaker 3: a Hall of Famer when Mike went to play baseball.
- 43:37Speaker 3: I believe those two years that he got to carry
- 43:40Speaker 3: the team and people forget the Bulls still went deep
- 43:42Speaker 3: into the playoffs. I think one year they even went
- 43:44Speaker 3: to the Eastern Conference final with just Scottie Pippen and
- 43:49Speaker 3: Tony and those guys holding it down. I think those windows,
- 43:53Speaker 3: because as the athlete, sometimes you have that's some guys
- 43:56Speaker 3: move on because of that. Now I don't always work out,
- 44:01Speaker 3: but I'm on the team with this certain player. Right.
- 44:06Speaker 3: You saw basically Kobe want to move Shack along so
- 44:12Speaker 3: you could show him, show the world who Kobe was.
- 44:17Speaker 3: So we have to, you know. And I don't like
- 44:19Speaker 3: to do the if game a lot because that's it's
- 44:22Speaker 3: not possible. But and that that's how some stars see.
- 44:27Speaker 3: It's almost like the music music groups. It feels like
- 44:33Speaker 3: if I.
- 44:33Speaker 6: Ralph Treasment, like boy Bobby had, he almost wasn't in
- 44:37Speaker 6: the group. We almost didn't let him get in the group.
- 44:40Speaker 6: Bobby hadn't been in the group, they'd have called it
- 44:42Speaker 6: Ralph Treasment and knew addition, Yeah, but Bobby Kdave.
- 44:46Speaker 3: And I think that maybe what Tony Kukoke is just saying,
- 44:49Speaker 3: like he he wasn't fully maybe let go to lead
- 44:54Speaker 3: the team he didn't have. He never was on the
- 44:56Speaker 3: team where he was first seat. He was always to Gil,
- 45:03Speaker 3: he was always the third seat, just based on that's
- 45:06Speaker 3: how who he was drafted to.
- 45:08Speaker 6: Now now, why now, Tony Kuko? Why why now? Do
- 45:13Speaker 6: you think just because there's a proliferation of media outlets.
- 45:17Speaker 3: Willing to ask questions, don't forget about.
- 45:19Speaker 1: Me, That's what I'm saying.
- 45:21Speaker 6: Do you think that he feels like, man, uh, europe
- 45:25Speaker 6: finally shining the European game, The European player is finally
- 45:29Speaker 6: valued and and and is at a premium now and
- 45:33Speaker 6: when I was better than all of these got like, why,
- 45:36Speaker 6: you know.
- 45:37Speaker 3: I don't know what he's saying. He's better.
- 45:39Speaker 11: Yeah, I think he's trying to be a spokesperson at
- 45:42Speaker 11: this time for the European players because of the fact
- 45:45Speaker 11: you said, yeah, they are on a hot all time
- 45:47Speaker 11: high at this moment. And but at the same time,
- 45:53Speaker 11: I don't think he could have been the Luca that star.
- 45:55Speaker 1: It's like some other players.
- 45:57Speaker 3: Out sat he was what by pepper vision was the
- 46:02Speaker 3: first round pick? Was he late first round? Yeah? Okay,
- 46:05Speaker 3: what was it? And maybe maybe I think because you
- 46:08Speaker 3: gotta think of what he's saying with like maybe a
- 46:10Speaker 3: Luca like to be just kind of let go. Luca
- 46:14Speaker 3: doesn't really have any restrictions to his game. His game,
- 46:19Speaker 3: Yeah he can play.
- 46:23Speaker 6: Yeah, they right right, you know, And when he was playing,
- 46:28Speaker 6: it was no matter what's going on, get the ball
- 46:30Speaker 6: to Jordan, get the ball and here you're why right,
- 46:33Speaker 6: you're you're wide open under the basket by yourself. Get
- 46:39Speaker 6: it out the mic, I mean, because there's no need
- 46:41Speaker 6: for you to actually get a basket looking out.
- 46:44Speaker 3: When Mike came back, like he became the sixth man,
- 46:47Speaker 3: so I mean, well that's what I mean. He was
- 46:49Speaker 3: always regulated to like the third offensive option. He was
- 46:54Speaker 3: when he was on the team with Jordan's Yeah, and
- 46:57Speaker 3: then never somewhere because a lot of guys shine when
- 47:03Speaker 3: they're solo projects. You take Dominique Wilkins here in Atlanta,
- 47:09Speaker 3: he was always first chair. Yeah, in the ten twelve years,
- 47:14Speaker 3: he was always you put in. He never really had
- 47:16Speaker 3: to compromise or question. He had good players sometimes good team,
- 47:22Speaker 3: but there was never another guy.
- 47:23Speaker 6: He never had to have a drum off, you know,
- 47:29Speaker 6: to do the drum off, like okay, you go again,
- 47:31Speaker 6: let's see.
- 47:32Speaker 11: And since the last dance special that Michael did. Tony
- 47:37Speaker 11: has never really said anything to or discussed anything where
- 47:42Speaker 11: how they talked about how the general manager had wanted
- 47:46Speaker 11: to bring him over and make him that star. So
- 47:48Speaker 11: that could be a possibility that he willing to speak
- 47:51Speaker 11: out and say, hey, I was that man.
- 47:52Speaker 3: I was bought over here to be that, but I wasn't.
- 47:56Speaker 3: I'm just saying that we sat here and did a
- 47:57Speaker 3: whole show. You could find different athletes and times where
- 48:02Speaker 3: some of whatever they were doing either took didn't happen,
- 48:06Speaker 3: or it took a long time for people because they
- 48:08Speaker 3: were overshadowed. You could say that about someone like a
- 48:11Speaker 3: Joe Dumars. It took a while for him people to
- 48:16Speaker 3: start seeing him on equal footing with Isaiah Thomas because
- 48:20Speaker 3: Isaiah came in with the flash and Joe Dumars was
- 48:23Speaker 3: the quiet guy that just got the work done. And
- 48:26Speaker 3: now as time evolved, people started appreciating that kind of player.
- 48:32Speaker 6: Joe Dummars same kind of businessman too. We gotta I
- 48:35Speaker 6: think it's Dumar's machinery. Aaron Detroit, he's just became the
- 48:39Speaker 6: GM and all that.
- 48:40Speaker 3: But you know, to me, Joe Dumars led the path
- 48:44Speaker 3: to the Jimmy Butlers. Remember Jimmy Butler.
- 48:48Speaker 6: First got in lead, he was just a lunch pale guy.
- 48:51Speaker 6: He's a lunch pale guy. I'm talking about We're not
- 48:59Speaker 6: gonna drive through the drive and now I'm gonna eat
- 49:01Speaker 6: right here.
- 49:01Speaker 1: I bought it, got a bag.
- 49:03Speaker 3: Of chips, right and that's that path. Jimmy Butler kind
- 49:07Speaker 3: of paid and.
- 49:09Speaker 6: Then when he got where he was going, he pulled
- 49:12Speaker 6: out his glittery soup and his shiny shoes. Butler yes
- 49:18Speaker 6: to be back to Sports Show right after this funny
- 49:21Speaker 6: full gap the.
- 49:22Speaker 1: Round countdown, two o'clock. Let long, I'm a jid with
- 49:25Speaker 1: the golden all.
- 49:26Speaker 18: I'm shot.
- 49:27Speaker 1: Next, that's the blunt. Don't you had it for a
- 49:31Speaker 1: minute but it seemed like a mark.
- 49:33Speaker 6: Now I'm choking, smoking, hoping I don't croak from over toosing.
- 49:37Speaker 1: Don't go away.

- 50:35Speaker 18: but it's time we know the facts. Fentanyl is killing people.
- 50:38Speaker 18: It's a powerful opio It often made illegally and commonly
- 50:42Speaker 18: mixed with illicted drugs. It can even be pressed into
- 50:45Speaker 18: counterfeit pills that resemble prescription medications. Just two milligrams, about
- 50:49Speaker 18: the size of a few grains of sand, could potentially
- 50:52Speaker 18: be lethal. This isn't an ad to scare you, but
- 50:54Speaker 18: it isn't ad to make you think twice, get the facts,

- 51:33Speaker 3: And now back to the sports. John Wayne Gandy.
- 51:38Speaker 5: Center cord on sports news gossip blah blah blah blah.
- 51:46Speaker 6: B watch smoking a like like smoking jo quays of
- 52:03Speaker 6: a hand ways off.
- 52:04Speaker 3: Welcome back to this wort shock showing this war shocks
- 52:07Speaker 3: quing Kandy. John Doe, a fan out of here in
- 52:13Speaker 3: Georgia at least at least it was fouled in Georgia,
- 52:17Speaker 3: is filing one hundred million dollar lawsuit US District Court
- 52:21Speaker 3: in Georgia against the NFL. I have no idea other
- 52:27Speaker 3: than in our country, you do have the right to
- 52:30Speaker 3: foul and sue. But I have no clue what this
- 52:38Speaker 3: would stand on as far as this fan winning. But
- 52:43Speaker 3: they are claiming emotional distress and all this Senator round
- 52:51Speaker 3: that should dore Sanders and fill in the draft. So
- 52:56Speaker 3: I guess they were a Shader Sanders fan.
- 52:59Speaker 6: Yes, and no, they are Colorado fan, Colorado fan and
- 53:03Speaker 6: schadur fans because they strongly supported Colorado and then his
- 53:10Speaker 6: slide in the NFL draft because of collusion caused him,
- 53:17Speaker 6: frustrate caused John Doe because it's anonymously filed frustration, disappointment
- 53:23Speaker 6: and psychological harm, and they filed it here in Atlanta,
- 53:27Speaker 6: in Georgia, in Georgia anonymously. Yes, I thought it was
- 53:30Speaker 6: you because it sounds like something you would do. An
- 53:33Speaker 6: anonymous thing would just be so we wouldn't roast you
- 53:36Speaker 6: about it.
- 53:37Speaker 1: But I figure you did this because I just I
- 53:40Speaker 1: just asked a commanch you know.
- 53:41Speaker 3: So, can you also sue someone for losing? Let's hope
- 53:48Speaker 3: if I'm an Auburn fan and they lose to Alabama,
- 53:52Speaker 3: I can go file in the district of Alabama that
- 53:55Speaker 3: since they lost and I watched the game that and
- 54:00Speaker 3: sue the university.
- 54:02Speaker 1: Right, That's what I'm saying.
- 54:05Speaker 17: Yeah, Hey, if the case of the woman who sued
- 54:09Speaker 17: McDonald's because of the hot coffee.
- 54:12Speaker 3: We can do for anything.
- 54:13Speaker 1: And this is this is what I'm saying.
- 54:15Speaker 6: Are you serious right now that I can sue you
- 54:19Speaker 6: for you not doing your job the way I think
- 54:25Speaker 6: you should do your job, even though I don't work
- 54:27Speaker 6: for you, even though I've never even worked in this industry.
- 54:31Speaker 1: I don't I don't.
- 54:32Speaker 6: Work in the NFL anywhere I worked for door Dash.
- 54:36Speaker 6: I'm just driving burgers and fries around.
- 54:39Speaker 1: How did this slide? How did it affect him mentally
- 54:43Speaker 1: or what?
- 54:43Speaker 3: What was some of the I guess like McKenny, Hey,
- 54:46Speaker 3: he's a Colorado fan, and he was so geeked thinking that.
- 54:49Speaker 11: Gambling That's what That's why I was trying to allude
- 54:52Speaker 11: to you. It's about gambling.
- 54:55Speaker 17: It was a lot of a lot of prop bets
- 54:57Speaker 17: on where he would go in the dream over under
- 54:59Speaker 17: the Then.
- 55:00Speaker 3: How do you prove the NFL? Because remember who you're
- 55:04Speaker 3: listening to? Our people that don't work for the NFL.
- 55:08Speaker 3: He said, you're on ESPN. Those people don't work for
- 55:11Speaker 3: the NFF. Oh, they don't work. None of those people
- 55:14Speaker 3: work for the actual league. So whatever news you was
- 55:17Speaker 3: placing your bet on. If we turn the television on
- 55:21Speaker 3: right now and they're talking to whoever we decide to bet,
- 55:25Speaker 3: that's not the team or the athlete. How many times
- 55:27Speaker 3: I tell you tap on this air, I just want
- 55:31Speaker 3: to win. I have really no care about your spread now.
- 55:35Speaker 3: I don't even know what the spread is unless coaches
- 55:39Speaker 3: used it as a motivational tool. And see sometimes they'll
- 55:42Speaker 3: come in there and say, oh, man, you know they
- 55:44Speaker 3: got us twenty five point underdog and use it like that.
- 55:47Speaker 3: But other than that, I don't know a lot of
- 55:50Speaker 3: athletes that keep up with that, other than the ones
- 55:52Speaker 3: that gamble. But most athletes don't gamble on their sport.
- 55:57Speaker 6: Here's the language in the lawsuits. They go to VAGA, yes,
- 56:02Speaker 6: so they can launder that money. In the lawsuit, it
- 56:06Speaker 6: says John Doe says uhs dedicated fan of Colorado Buffalo's
- 56:10Speaker 6: and that he closely followed Sanders over the past two
- 56:12Speaker 6: college football Season's plaint of claims that the reports and
- 56:16Speaker 6: leaked statements suggesting that Sanders tanked interviews wasn't prepared and
- 56:21Speaker 6: was too cocky in the pre draft process helped create
- 56:24Speaker 6: a narrative that unjustly harmed his reputation. These slanderous statements
- 56:29Speaker 6: caused emotional distress and trauma to the plane as a
- 56:33Speaker 6: fan and consumer. And it's also alleging that several claims
- 56:38Speaker 6: against the NFL the violation of the Sherman Antitrust Act,
- 56:41Speaker 6: which is collusion among NFL teams, violation of the Civil
- 56:45Speaker 6: Rights Act, intentional infliction of emotional distress and trauma, and violation.
- 56:54Speaker 3: You So, what you just proved is that you were
- 56:57Speaker 3: listening to all these people talk and you got the motion,
- 57:00Speaker 3: and you still was going. If they're leaking things telling
- 57:05Speaker 3: you that they're discrediting this guy, why did you still
- 57:07Speaker 3: think he was going in the top three.
- 57:11Speaker 6: Well, I'm saying and this language alone says I'm suing
- 57:15Speaker 6: about my emotions, which I'm even amazed and made it
- 57:19Speaker 6: to court.
- 57:20Speaker 1: I hear betting heard I was.
- 57:22Speaker 3: Send in my draft. Nineteen ninety four, Charlie Ward won
- 57:28Speaker 3: the Heisman. He didn't get drafted. I think he played
- 57:35Speaker 3: basketball for somebody, So you can win the Heisman.
- 57:39Speaker 1: We'll see and and well is it Byron Scott.
- 57:46Speaker 6: We're just talking about if stuff can come back from
- 57:48Speaker 6: thirty eight years, maybe we can pull your draft up
- 57:51Speaker 6: and I can sue them for mental distress.
- 57:53Speaker 3: No, we're just nipping in the bud and just you
- 57:57Speaker 3: don't want to sue a little man. No, I think
- 57:59Speaker 3: we should. I think our country next stance, next president
- 58:03Speaker 3: has to start really clapping back at people. We have
- 58:06Speaker 3: to put mandates on people. We have to start taking
- 58:09Speaker 3: this this freedom that we have a little more serious
- 58:12Speaker 3: because we're wasting time, energy, effort, and effort and a
- 58:15Speaker 3: lot of things that have.
- 58:17Speaker 1: No Well, Georgie is already doing that.
- 58:20Speaker 3: We don't get to sit around and waste time.
- 58:25Speaker 6: Right, George is already making it more difficult to bring
- 58:29Speaker 6: frivolous lawsuits court.
- 58:31Speaker 3: Because we want to protect and defend and give the
- 58:34Speaker 3: rights to the people that have truly been wrong.
- 58:36Speaker 6: Yeah, man, Yeah, and Stewarts slide to the fifth round. Really,
- 58:43Speaker 6: I don't see that as something that we actually be
- 58:45Speaker 6: filing motions and our next plan NFL versus John Doe.
- 58:50Speaker 1: Are y'all serious? Brouh Like?
- 58:52Speaker 11: Really, I'm sorry, how do they allow them to even
- 58:58Speaker 11: place that lawsuit under a John you something that they
- 59:01Speaker 11: should have had your name, You should be put on front.
- 59:04Speaker 6: So I'm still saying that we we never think about
- 59:08Speaker 6: the doors that this opens. If I can sue you
- 59:10Speaker 6: for being sad that a guy I supported slid in
- 59:14Speaker 6: the draft, then a forty point.
- 59:17Speaker 1: Definitely reached. That suld have been kicked out.
- 59:22Speaker 6: Sports Jock Show as it is.
- 59:39Speaker 4: Don't Go Awayne Born of the Sports Josh Show with
- 59:42Speaker 4: Wayne Dandy, Yes Dumbing Up Next.
- 59:44Speaker 25: I never realized that I'd be taking care of a
- 59:48Speaker 25: two year old and a nine year old on my own.
- 59:50Speaker 25: I think men can be a little stubborn sometimes where
- 59:54Speaker 25: pride gets in the way and they may want to help,
- 59:57Speaker 25: they may not know how to ask. My tradition, with
- 1:00:00Speaker 25: the family support in line, and just with my mind frame,
- 1:00:04Speaker 25: I was able to turn a negative into a positive.
- 1:00:08Speaker 25: I knew I needed more tools in my toolbox to
- 1:00:11Speaker 25: take care of these little girls that just lost their mother.
- 1:00:14Speaker 25: It's time for me to be that father that I
- 1:00:16Speaker 25: knew I could be. I think just being that good
- 1:00:19Speaker 25: role model as well, that model's good.
- 1:00:22Speaker 26: Behavior in front of them, going to work every day,
- 1:00:25Speaker 26: coming home and being able to put on that smile
- 1:00:28Speaker 26: the biggest reward about being a dad is sitting back
- 1:00:31Speaker 26: and watching your kids be happy.
- 1:00:35Speaker 2: Never stop being a dad.
- 1:00:36Speaker 1: That's dedication. Find out more on Fatherhood dot gov.

- 1:00:42Speaker 25: Human Services and the AD Council.
- 1:00:45Speaker 12: And now let's talk about something exciting, life insurance. Three
- 1:00:48Speaker 12: quarters of Americans believe that coverage represents a critical piece
- 1:00:51Speaker 12: of financial security, yet only forty nine percent actually have
- 1:00:55Speaker 12: life insurance.
- 1:00:56Speaker 27: When I was twenty five, me and my wife were
- 1:00:57Speaker 27: just getting started with our family and thought, we lift
- 1:01:00Speaker 27: life insurance. What's the last thing on my mind?
- 1:01:02Speaker 1: What about you? Will you be leaving benefits or bills?
- 1:01:05Speaker 27: When I was forty, with a kid in college and
- 1:01:07Speaker 27: bills piling up, I was worried how my family will
- 1:01:09Speaker 27: survive without me. That's what I'm in an appointment with
- 1:01:11Speaker 27: the insurance informants.
- 1:01:12Speaker 12: Information gives you power, and life insurance gives your family
- 1:01:15Speaker 12: security no matter what stage of life you're in.
- 1:01:18Speaker 19: Now that I'm older, I don't worry about whether I
- 1:01:20Speaker 19: leave my family with bills their benefits. The answer is easy.
- 1:01:23Speaker 12: Whether you're twenty five or fifty, whether you earn a
- 1:01:25Speaker 12: little or a lot, all you need is the insurance
- 1:01:28Speaker 12: informant to help you build a foundation of security, because
- 1:01:31Speaker 12: without you, your family will have two options, benefits or bills?
- 1:01:36Speaker 12: Which legacy will you leave behind? Log on today benefits
- 1:01:39Speaker 12: or bills? Dot Com that's benefits or bills dot Com.
- 1:01:48Speaker 28: Offcus not I why sharers and we hold the world
- 1:01:54Speaker 28: ransom for when you need excuse me while I whip
- 1:01:58Speaker 28: this out.

- 1:02:04Speaker 1: Sports Shock Show with Wayne Gandy. You maga fill me up?
- 1:02:10Speaker 5: Can you pling me down?
- 1:02:11Speaker 1: Against you?
- 1:02:12Speaker 21: Fling me down down?
- 1:02:14Speaker 1: Come to come to coyet, get come to market it just.
- 1:02:18Speaker 3: DoD I'm gonna do it good.
- 1:02:23Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm gonna go.
- 1:02:24Speaker 3: On the way. Vegan, welcome back to this one Shock show.
- 1:02:29Speaker 3: I'm the wort Shock Wayne Candy. Good morning to you
- 1:02:32Speaker 3: out there and listening. Land Badyducer, Big Kenny comand you
- 1:02:36Speaker 3: Greg in the building with me Today. NBA Playoffs Hot
- 1:02:41Speaker 3: and Heavy, the Knicks winning going up to oh over
- 1:02:48Speaker 3: the Boston Celtics in a series that some people pick
- 1:02:52Speaker 3: the Celtics to win in six and I guess that's
- 1:02:55Speaker 3: what you actually place your bed on. So you've got
- 1:02:59Speaker 3: a lot of work to do. That's what you do.
- 1:03:01Speaker 3: If you did that, then the Celtics have a lot
- 1:03:05Speaker 3: of work, which means they have to win four games
- 1:03:07Speaker 3: in a row here, uh, and they have the talent
- 1:03:10Speaker 3: that can do it. So it's not like they're out
- 1:03:12Speaker 3: of it. I think the Knicks, that's the one of
- 1:03:14Speaker 3: the number one thing they have to focus on is
- 1:03:17Speaker 3: that they are going to still have to beat the Celtics.
- 1:03:21Speaker 3: Being up too old against such a talented team, it's
- 1:03:26Speaker 3: still a lot of work to be done. You have
- 1:03:28Speaker 3: fighting clawe to win two of these next five. But
- 1:03:32Speaker 3: if this was college football, they'd have been fired.
- 1:03:34Speaker 6: Joe Missoula by nine, you can blow to twenty point
- 1:03:38Speaker 6: at home and me, well, I don't know, and there
- 1:03:41Speaker 6: you go. I go that you go, Jo sue the Celtics.
- 1:03:50Speaker 6: You know, do you know what kind of now the
- 1:03:53Speaker 6: distress I'm sue it fun was the second loss.
- 1:03:57Speaker 3: Joe Missoulu at that point should take his film and
- 1:04:00Speaker 3: go to court to prove his case and get professional
- 1:04:11Speaker 3: guys like Phil Jackson to come in as witnesses walk
- 1:04:16Speaker 3: them through the second half. Feel what you have called
- 1:04:21Speaker 3: the time out there? Yes?
- 1:04:23Speaker 1: Phil, did you put that person in?
- 1:04:24Speaker 3: Yes? So you're saying that in the second half as
- 1:04:27Speaker 3: a coach, I did everything I was supposed to do,
- 1:04:30Speaker 3: and really the players just didn't fulfill their part.
- 1:04:37Speaker 1: Blaming, you're shaming.
- 1:04:40Speaker 3: I'm telling you that I went and did my due diligence.
- 1:04:44Speaker 3: You're firing me is unjustified and unwarranted. So you're firing
- 1:04:49Speaker 3: me because you're emotional, same reason should do her Sanders
- 1:04:53Speaker 3: is having a case down in Georgia. You're emotional, so
- 1:04:56Speaker 3: you need somebody to blame. But I called a time
- 1:04:59Speaker 3: out when I've supposed to.
- 1:05:00Speaker 6: But did you see that set up a new defense
- 1:05:03Speaker 6: and you still didn't go out there and run it
- 1:05:04Speaker 6: the right way?
- 1:05:05Speaker 3: But did Youdula should sue his players, and then I'm
- 1:05:08Speaker 3: a count of suit. I'm ana count of sue whoever
- 1:05:10Speaker 3: sued me for something that obviously the Celtics are. You
- 1:05:17Speaker 3: just have a moment, And that's I mean. I brought
- 1:05:19Speaker 3: this up because when you watch athletics, that's an athlete.
- 1:05:23Speaker 3: You hope that your your loll does not happen in
- 1:05:32Speaker 3: the big moments. Yeah, you're hoping whatever bad game you're
- 1:05:36Speaker 3: gonna have because you don't have one, happens in the
- 1:05:39Speaker 3: regular season or happens week one or two. I'm hoping
- 1:05:43Speaker 3: when we get these AFC Championship, I don't have that game.
- 1:05:48Speaker 3: That's really people don't realize that every human, every man,
- 1:05:53Speaker 3: has ever played sports. You're gonna have a bad day.
- 1:05:56Speaker 3: You're just hoping that it's not or you can find
- 1:05:59Speaker 3: your way out of it in time. Some days you're
- 1:06:03Speaker 3: gonna hit eight in a row, and some days you're
- 1:06:06Speaker 3: gonna be one for seven. You're just hoping it's not.
- 1:06:09Speaker 3: In the NBA game seven finals out of finals, right,
- 1:06:13Speaker 3: and we've seen that, we've seen anybody. As soon as
- 1:06:16Speaker 3: somebody does it, it's like, oh your tear, and it's like, well,
- 1:06:19Speaker 3: you weren't saying that the first one hundred and eight game.
- 1:06:23Speaker 1: But I was covering the first hundred.
- 1:06:25Speaker 6: It's just on one hundred and ninth that you have
- 1:06:28Speaker 6: decided that you blew my part.
- 1:06:31Speaker 1: I'm sorry.
- 1:06:32Speaker 3: Go ahead.
- 1:06:33Speaker 11: There's two interesting videos out there around the Boston next game.
- 1:06:39Speaker 11: It was a usher, which you said the possible can
- 1:06:42Speaker 11: sue because she was so upset after the game with
- 1:06:44Speaker 11: the Knicks fans channing that she not just lost it,
- 1:06:48Speaker 11: she went completely bonkers. So she might have a reasonable
- 1:06:52Speaker 11: emotional stress but I'm watching to see if if anyone
- 1:06:56Speaker 11: you see what Paul Pierce said he was gonna walk
- 1:06:58Speaker 11: the work barefoot to if the Celtics lost last night.
- 1:07:02Speaker 11: So can I sue him if he don't walk to
- 1:07:04Speaker 11: work fifteen miles as it? Because that's he lied to me,
- 1:07:08Speaker 11: and and and me looking forward to that. And I'm
- 1:07:11Speaker 11: being serious because when you say these things, there are
- 1:07:14Speaker 11: people who listen and listen to him yesterday say that,
- 1:07:16Speaker 11: and they wouldn't place the bed, say, oh, Paul Pierce,
- 1:07:18Speaker 11: know what he's talking about. She's a former NBA player,
- 1:07:21Speaker 11: so he should be able to say that there's guaranteeing.
- 1:07:25Speaker 3: As I said, first and foremost, I do not work
- 1:07:28Speaker 3: for the Celtics. So you taking my advice on something
- 1:07:35Speaker 3: that I don't work on.
- 1:07:38Speaker 1: But I watch I used to it, and I watch games.
- 1:07:42Speaker 3: You used to work for the Celtics.
- 1:07:43Speaker 1: And I watch games.
- 1:07:44Speaker 3: That's what all of this is why we're becoming idiots,
- 1:07:50Speaker 3: becoming we're all becoming idiots because all we do is
- 1:07:54Speaker 3: sit around and listen to the chatter.
- 1:07:57Speaker 1: We don't watch for ourselves.
- 1:08:00Speaker 3: And because you want to bet on something, are you
- 1:08:02Speaker 3: watching the game?
- 1:08:05Speaker 1: Paul Pierce watching? Because there are no guarantees in sports.
- 1:08:08Speaker 3: Paul who told you that, he telling me that ain't
- 1:08:12Speaker 3: Paul Pierce's job, but he's giving me advice. Guys sit
- 1:08:16Speaker 3: in the studio and don't watch games. They just sit
- 1:08:19Speaker 3: in the studio and see this, And I can give
- 1:08:21Speaker 3: you a whole report just based on the store. You
- 1:08:24Speaker 3: can just give me the stats and I can make
- 1:08:27Speaker 3: up three minutes. I haven't watched any minute of the game.
- 1:08:31Speaker 6: And just because the people who put that platform out
- 1:08:35Speaker 6: at the title expert too his name, you would want
- 1:08:42Speaker 6: to sue somebody about that, because expert to you means
- 1:08:48Speaker 6: someone who is qualified and bonafided and trained enough to
- 1:08:54Speaker 6: tell you where to put your money in sports.
- 1:08:56Speaker 11: Because they shouldn't be talking if they don't know what
- 1:08:58Speaker 11: they're talking about.
- 1:08:59Speaker 6: And there are so many of you out there that
- 1:09:03Speaker 6: that would make it the court. And that's what he's saying.
- 1:09:07Speaker 6: We've all drifted into this black authorities of what they're
- 1:09:13Speaker 6: talking about. The number one figures, the number one figurehead
- 1:09:18Speaker 6: is Stephen A.
- 1:09:19Speaker 3: Smith. And no matter how many times I tell you
- 1:09:23Speaker 3: that Stephen A. Smith is not qualified enough to be
- 1:09:26Speaker 3: calling people bombs and this and that, you keep clicking
- 1:09:31Speaker 3: on to the show.
- 1:09:34Speaker 6: Got him out here being an assassin now and now
- 1:09:36Speaker 6: he's president. I'm saying, now he got so much credit
- 1:09:40Speaker 6: is a sports expert that he actually out here work
- 1:09:44Speaker 6: in security for the mob on General Hospital they got
- 1:09:48Speaker 6: make it make sense.
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: He's coming up Law and Order. I need to see
- 1:09:52Speaker 1: some id.
- 1:09:53Speaker 6: They got him on Law and Order coming up on
- 1:09:55Speaker 6: an episode, the one with Marissa Hargetas.
- 1:10:03Speaker 3: And I'm literally you know I have any debates. I
- 1:10:06Speaker 3: get in with people daily who want to sit there
- 1:10:11Speaker 3: as friends. You would think the three of you, if
- 1:10:15Speaker 3: you wanted a true opinion, I can't. I'm not an oracle.
- 1:10:21Speaker 3: I can't tell you exactly, but I can give you
- 1:10:23Speaker 3: the truth, realist information to help you make a decision.
- 1:10:29Speaker 3: But you three keep.
- 1:10:30Speaker 6: Texting me about what somebody y'all ain't ever met. It's
- 1:10:35Speaker 6: saying versus what I'm literally telling you. Well, what if
- 1:10:40Speaker 6: we were in the mindset of the athletes, I forget
- 1:10:44Speaker 6: the sport. Why do y'all keep thinking the Knicks are
- 1:10:48Speaker 6: so sorry?
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: They don't have a big name.
- 1:10:54Speaker 3: That's that don't make them sorry because they.
- 1:10:58Speaker 1: Just don't know are sorry?
- 1:11:01Speaker 6: I do know, and it is that the Knicks have
- 1:11:05Speaker 6: not seen lor le Bron James. And then everybody go off,
- 1:11:09Speaker 6: see that's what I is, Stephen, They said the nick
- 1:11:12Speaker 6: James Lebron James. So Stephen A. And then you put
- 1:11:18Speaker 6: fifty thousand dollars on something that something that Stephen ain't saying,
- 1:11:21Speaker 6: and now you want to sue me.
- 1:11:23Speaker 3: Paul gonna walk, Paul you're talking about? Paul clapped the
- 1:11:26Speaker 3: booty in front of my face, smokes some. He said yesterday,
- 1:11:30Speaker 3: yesterday he said, is what it is? Paul Piers And
- 1:11:34Speaker 3: he's gonna say, you don't think he's biased.
- 1:11:36Speaker 6: He ain't got enough enagy to cut the camera with
- 1:11:38Speaker 6: the walk in the walk fifteen.
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: Miles with no shoes on in his robe. If the
- 1:11:43Speaker 1: Celtics lose, that man ain't got enough energy to cut
- 1:11:46Speaker 1: his camera.
- 1:11:47Speaker 3: And my dad said he'd be right back.
- 1:11:50Speaker 1: You're hard. We wait, no boat, we wait no more.
- 1:11:54Speaker 6: I'm waiting on the clippery clap of Paul Piers feet
- 1:11:57Speaker 6: on the concrete and sports Jack Daddy spinning the block.
- 1:12:01Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, stop.
- 1:12:05Speaker 6: Hard.
- 1:12:06Speaker 3: That was about eleven o'clock.
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: He's coming.
- 1:12:11Speaker 3: Now, I'm saying, that's a long line coming, little man.
- 1:12:16Speaker 3: I'm going to.
- 1:12:17Speaker 1: Wait, wait, coming on my block. Let's go finish this.
- 1:12:22Speaker 1: We're gonna We're gonna wait for Dallas to go off. Now,
- 1:12:25Speaker 1: Dallas go off and he he We're gonna go on
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: to be Notts Landing done, came on man.
- 1:12:33Speaker 3: Speaking of Burger King, I'm not speaking of being sued.
- 1:12:36Speaker 3: Burger King is being sued now. I don't understand. I
- 1:12:40Speaker 3: had a Whopper about about a month ago. It was
- 1:12:44Speaker 3: it looked like the commercial. The Whopper is one of
- 1:12:47Speaker 3: the few sandwiches that still is very hearty. But they're
- 1:12:51Speaker 3: suing it because they say the burger and the commercial
- 1:12:54Speaker 3: look different.
- 1:12:56Speaker 1: They say it's big.
- 1:12:56Speaker 11: It's still televideos as they have of how they actually
- 1:13:01Speaker 11: put do the food in the commerce.
- 1:13:05Speaker 1: That I don't think all the way browning on it.
- 1:13:08Speaker 6: I don't think that this will be the shortest court
- 1:13:11Speaker 6: case in history when I go in and go youurana,
- 1:13:15Speaker 6: they watching it on the sixty five in scream teev.
- 1:13:19Speaker 1: That does make it look bigger dismissed.
- 1:13:23Speaker 3: Yeah, we'll see what you know how.
- 1:13:24Speaker 1: To sandwich and look on your eighty five.

- 1:18:32Speaker 3: pops is seventy six. I want to say Dallas backup quarterback,
- 1:18:38Speaker 3: but I'm not sure. Trey Lance no, where is he now?
- 1:18:43Speaker 3: He's with the Chargers. Chargers twenty five years old. Dylan
- 1:18:48Speaker 3: Ryola is twenty with Nebraska. Enrique Nglacias is fifty The
- 1:18:55Speaker 3: Green Arrow stephen A Meil is forty four. He's also
- 1:18:59Speaker 3: on La Suits the actor forty four years old. Who
- 1:19:04Speaker 3: else do we have here? Rosario Dawson is forty six,
- 1:19:09Speaker 3: Chris Berman back back back back, back back back is seventy,
- 1:19:15Speaker 3: Zach Taylor, the head coach of the Bengals, is forty two.
- 1:19:19Speaker 3: Bono is sixty five of U two, Keenan Thompson, the comedian,
- 1:19:25Speaker 3: is forty seven. Lane Kiffin is fifty and the new
- 1:19:31Speaker 3: head coach of the Sacrament of Kings, Doug Christie is
- 1:19:35Speaker 3: fifty five. Now you could have ever told me when
- 1:19:38Speaker 3: Doug was playing that he would be a head coach
- 1:19:41Speaker 3: at some point. Wow, he looked like he was one
- 1:19:43Speaker 3: of those guys that he was going to go off
- 1:19:46Speaker 3: and disappear. Oh, it's down young.
- 1:19:49Speaker 1: Hat being the woods in the wilderness.
- 1:19:52Speaker 3: He is the most head coach. He's fifty five years
- 1:19:55Speaker 3: of age, Big Kenny. Too many opportunities here for some work.
- 1:20:01Speaker 3: But you do have a hard choice here between Olivia
- 1:20:04Speaker 3: Cupoo Dawson and there's a stranger.
- 1:20:10Speaker 1: Rosario to me, yeah, don't ask all them questions. It's
- 1:20:15Speaker 1: just me. Uh, I'm gonna go I'm gonna test the
- 1:20:19Speaker 1: tariffs and go with Rosario.
- 1:20:21Speaker 3: Dawson, you said test the terriff, Yes, the Terraffrosario sounds
- 1:20:26Speaker 3: like something coming out of Mexico.
- 1:20:28Speaker 1: You know what I'm saying.
- 1:20:29Speaker 11: I'm sure there will be a tariff on Rosario. Say, yeah,
- 1:20:31Speaker 11: I'm a work. There a lot of coaches on that
- 1:20:33Speaker 11: birthday list, so that means a lot of.
- 1:20:36Speaker 3: Today.
- 1:20:37Speaker 1: It's just a lot of head coaches, a lot of coaches.
- 1:20:39Speaker 1: I just noticed that, just a pig.
- 1:20:41Speaker 6: Just are you trying to make some sort of connection
- 1:20:44Speaker 6: with being born and being a head coach.
- 1:20:46Speaker 1: I mean, it's just it's a lot of coaches.
- 1:20:48Speaker 3: Was on there today?
- 1:20:49Speaker 11: You read a lot of coaches, So I mean, if
- 1:20:52Speaker 11: you want to be a coach and you're born in
- 1:20:53Speaker 11: May around this time, you might be a good.
- 1:20:56Speaker 6: Uh speaking of coaches, uh, sports jack We got some's
- 1:21:00Speaker 6: from the loyal online listeners.
- 1:21:01Speaker 1: From the top of the hour.
- 1:21:04Speaker 6: We had Elder Casey say he thinks that Byron Scott
- 1:21:06Speaker 6: may have incriminated himself. Uncle Charlie said, oh, lordy forty
- 1:21:13Speaker 6: eight years who's next, Jackie Robinson.
- 1:21:16Speaker 3: So with people bringing back stuff like that, we have.
- 1:21:23Speaker 6: Also Uncle Charlie asked if Byron Scott was working at
- 1:21:29Speaker 6: McDonald's with these charges have been filed, we got t
- 1:21:32Speaker 6: Loo say good morning from Haines City. Uncle Charlie said,
- 1:21:37Speaker 6: watch out sports jock. He's still mad about Auburn Tigers
- 1:21:40Speaker 6: beating both Michigan schools. So if you can sueer mental distress,
- 1:21:44Speaker 6: you to file him a lawsuit. And we also have
- 1:21:53Speaker 6: someone sayss a double whopper with cheese. Elder K said
- 1:21:55Speaker 6: double whopper with cheese cut in half was the truth
- 1:21:59Speaker 6: and is.
- 1:22:01Speaker 3: Oh yeah, I can be a character witness. It wasn't
- 1:22:05Speaker 3: an Elder Casey about the bus here, but I will
- 1:22:07Speaker 3: tell Elder Casey since it's fresh on my mind. With
- 1:22:10Speaker 3: the Byron Scott going back to that right, I think
- 1:22:13Speaker 3: that if I'm his lawyer, this is the path. I
- 1:22:18Speaker 3: don't see that as incriminating. The evidence is already there
- 1:22:23Speaker 3: to say I was there, the Lakers were there, Like,
- 1:22:26Speaker 3: It's not like I got to go dig up. You know,
- 1:22:29Speaker 3: there's footage.
- 1:22:31Speaker 1: I'm I'm saying I was a victim too.
- 1:22:34Speaker 3: I'm also if I did deal with the young lady
- 1:22:38Speaker 3: and I thought of certain age.
- 1:22:40Speaker 1: That's why why is telling the truth a bad thing.
- 1:22:43Speaker 3: A bad thing.
- 1:22:44Speaker 1: You lie to me.
- 1:22:45Speaker 3: Now, if it falls that I have to face the
- 1:22:47Speaker 3: consequences of the truth, then I want the truth to
- 1:22:51Speaker 3: be the truth.
- 1:22:52Speaker 1: I want to only pay for the crimes I committed.
- 1:22:55Speaker 3: Yes, Yeah, So if I'm okay facing that, because I
- 1:23:00Speaker 3: think that wins the judge and the jury that I'm
- 1:23:02Speaker 3: not trying to.
- 1:23:04Speaker 6: So these drugs, but I ain't had no gun. Yeah,
- 1:23:08Speaker 6: I keep saying something about a gun, right, and had
- 1:23:11Speaker 6: no gun. Yeah, I had a trunk full of drugs.
- 1:23:13Speaker 6: But these folks keep trying to put a gun charge
- 1:23:15Speaker 6: on me, and I don't know nothing about that.
- 1:23:16Speaker 3: And so that's the only reason with that. I was
- 1:23:19Speaker 3: just if you're going to do it, ain't no need
- 1:23:21Speaker 3: to sit in here trying to We got evidence she
- 1:23:24Speaker 3: was there. You already said you told the film crew
- 1:23:29Speaker 3: that she could stay. Yeah, So your biggest mistake is
- 1:23:32Speaker 3: as Music's old child made that song where he was
- 1:23:35Speaker 3: telling I thought she was yeah twenty one until I
- 1:23:38Speaker 3: took invited her to the club and she couldn't get in.
- 1:23:41Speaker 3: I remember that track he had had and he was
- 1:23:44Speaker 3: only he was only seventeen too, got to the club.
- 1:23:50Speaker 3: He was lucky that nothing had happened up until then.
- 1:23:53Speaker 3: She's standing at the door somebody I can't get in.
- 1:23:56Speaker 3: I thought she was twenty one. So see how this
- 1:24:00Speaker 3: turns out for barn Sky, who seems at least throughout
- 1:24:03Speaker 3: his career, we haven't really ever had any negative on
- 1:24:07Speaker 3: his character, right, And I.
- 1:24:09Speaker 6: Just I hope that whoever this lawyer is doesn't go
- 1:24:13Speaker 6: try and dig up, you know how they always do
- 1:24:16Speaker 6: when one comes forward, then others had the courage to
- 1:24:18Speaker 6: come forward.
- 1:24:19Speaker 3: So yeah, and he's from an era. As I always
- 1:24:22Speaker 3: tell you, we really start pulling recular layers on this.
- 1:24:25Speaker 3: We're gonna find a lot of as I confess all
- 1:24:28Speaker 3: the time, a handful of young ladies that got pregnant
- 1:24:31Speaker 3: at my high school at the time I was there.
- 1:24:35Speaker 3: The fathers of those children were twenty one twenty two. Yeah,
- 1:24:40Speaker 3: so we just start rolling back calendars. That's easy to prove,
- 1:24:45Speaker 3: right If Tom had a baby at sixteen, and she's
- 1:24:48Speaker 3: saying to daddy is big Kenny, Well big Kenny would
- 1:24:51Speaker 3: have had to be twenty eight.
- 1:24:52Speaker 1: It ain't got me on camera still in no box.
- 1:24:56Speaker 3: Up show right after this.
- 1:24:58Speaker 5: And half stuff her half a begin and I bet
- 1:25:01Speaker 5: you're not a what bet so when you see me.
- 1:25:03Speaker 11: On the reel Homan like boltsrawing, remember I got deep
- 1:25:06Speaker 11: like a babysitter.

- 1:27:20Speaker 1: On the Sports Jack Show with Wayne Gandy me I'm
- 1:27:25Speaker 1: a double Shotty Wiskey.
- 1:27:27Speaker 3: They know I mean jack Downstown, Histreet. There's a party
- 1:27:30Speaker 3: downtown near fifty.
- 1:27:33Speaker 1: Everybody at the Barty.
- 1:27:39Speaker 2: Everybody had.
- 1:27:41Speaker 3: Welcome back to this one shock show. I'm this one shock,
- 1:27:44Speaker 3: Wayne Gandee. Earlier, the Bad Producer mentioned that Paul Pierce
- 1:27:51Speaker 3: made a comment of he would walk somewhere pair of footage,
- 1:27:58Speaker 3: which I don't know how that's like some that was
- 1:28:02Speaker 3: how people traveled most of the places in the world
- 1:28:05Speaker 3: bare footage producing making it seem like it's a new invention.
- 1:28:10Speaker 3: Some people actually refer walking that way. But Paul Pierce
- 1:28:15Speaker 3: also went on the record last week of saying making
- 1:28:18Speaker 3: a statement that marriage is for poor people and oh people,
- 1:28:31Speaker 3: there is no advantage for a man. Once again, Paul Pierce,
- 1:28:41Speaker 3: marriage is for poor people. That's them. From the mindset
- 1:28:49Speaker 3: of two people, economics put together right could make for
- 1:28:57Speaker 3: a better life. And old people that comment basically, as
- 1:29:06Speaker 3: you get older, someone to be there for you, right,
- 1:29:16Speaker 3: there is no advantage or a man in marriage in
- 1:29:22Speaker 3: his estimation, if those two components aren't part of the
- 1:29:29Speaker 3: equation now part of this panel. Three of you guys
- 1:29:33Speaker 3: have been married. Command you Greg, He had his first
- 1:29:40Speaker 3: marriage of old and I don't think y'all know that
- 1:29:43Speaker 3: you got married when he's nineteen.
- 1:29:44Speaker 1: He had it a by h it was, it wasn't,
- 1:29:48Speaker 1: but he had it.
- 1:29:49Speaker 3: There was, there was not. It's not official at all.
- 1:29:54Speaker 6: Running running eagle, Running eagle said no marriage goal.
- 1:30:02Speaker 3: Now move So there you go everywhere. But this is
- 1:30:07Speaker 3: Paul Pierce and his outlook. I think Paul Pierce is
- 1:30:11Speaker 3: about forty seven that right in there, now forty eight
- 1:30:15Speaker 3: years of age. But this is what he reads at
- 1:30:20Speaker 3: this point. Can you you two guys at least offer
- 1:30:24Speaker 3: any insight, not to dispel it, how he could have
- 1:30:29Speaker 3: come to that conclusion you think.
- 1:30:33Speaker 1: I think it's.
- 1:30:35Speaker 6: A reality for a lot of people, some men, because
- 1:30:41Speaker 6: of the experiences that they've had, myself included. If you know,
- 1:30:46Speaker 6: a lot of times life will life, and sometimes things
- 1:30:50Speaker 6: fall apart. And when things fall apart in marriage, usually
- 1:30:54Speaker 6: the bulk of the loss is born by the male
- 1:31:00Speaker 6: in the marriage. So I've been divorced twice. Each time
- 1:31:05Speaker 6: I left with far less than I came into the
- 1:31:08Speaker 6: marriage with. And had to rebuild it from the ground up.
- 1:31:12Speaker 6: So that's where the it's for poor people because a
- 1:31:17Speaker 6: lot of people consider marrying someone to help them with
- 1:31:22Speaker 6: I'm specifically speaking to the no benefit for me, and
- 1:31:27Speaker 6: men feel like women marry them because once some woman
- 1:31:30Speaker 6: marries a man, he's supposed to take care of her
- 1:31:33Speaker 6: in the lifestyle that he's made for himself.
- 1:31:37Speaker 1: Now she becomes a part of that.
- 1:31:40Speaker 6: And as far as old people, when people talk about marriage,
- 1:31:45Speaker 6: a lot of way it's portrayed on social media and
- 1:31:47Speaker 6: things like that is women will report being treated almost
- 1:31:56Speaker 6: like healthcare nurses or only he didn't want to settle
- 1:32:00Speaker 6: down till he needed somebody to help him up.
- 1:32:03Speaker 3: Until then he run in the streets.
- 1:32:05Speaker 6: So when you meet people who have had bad experiences
- 1:32:09Speaker 6: with marriage, they could see that and adopt that as
- 1:32:13Speaker 6: a truth. But a lot of times, if you pull
- 1:32:17Speaker 6: the layers of the onion back, somebody wasn't trying hard enough.
- 1:32:21Speaker 11: And you know, uh, there's studies out there that showed it.
- 1:32:26Speaker 11: Men they when they decide to get married, they can
- 1:32:29Speaker 11: actually just choose. But women are always looking to get married.
- 1:32:33Speaker 11: And when I heard the actually heard him get when
- 1:32:37Speaker 11: he was explaining this, he said, as he said poor people,
- 1:32:40Speaker 11: he watched his parents because he had a family of
- 1:32:44Speaker 11: brothers and sisters, why he knew why they were together
- 1:32:46Speaker 11: for the time, like I said, for economically and then
- 1:32:50Speaker 11: the old people. I can understand that too, what he
- 1:32:52Speaker 11: was saying as far as you have people say that
- 1:32:55Speaker 11: they wanted someone in their life as they get older,
- 1:32:58Speaker 11: as they get closer to you know, they thinking they're
- 1:33:01Speaker 11: gonna die or something, so they want someone there for them.
- 1:33:04Speaker 3: So I mean, Manchi, Greg, you got anything from the
- 1:33:08Speaker 3: reservation that delaying on.
- 1:33:10Speaker 6: This, uh.
- 1:33:12Speaker 17: I think he's just mainly looking at it from a
- 1:33:16Speaker 17: practical aspect.
- 1:33:21Speaker 3: And from the.
- 1:33:24Speaker 17: I don't want to say antics, but from actions that
- 1:33:27Speaker 17: we've seen from him on uh, on social media or
- 1:33:32Speaker 17: anything like that. I think that's just that's his perspective.
- 1:33:37Speaker 17: But and he's not looking at it from any other
- 1:33:41Speaker 17: aspect than the practicality.
- 1:33:43Speaker 3: Well, well, marriage was weaved into our minds is something
- 1:33:48Speaker 3: that you did to grow a family.
- 1:33:52Speaker 1: MH.
- 1:33:53Speaker 3: So if you're someone who's not trying to necessarily grow
- 1:33:56Speaker 3: a family or what, yeah, then someeple or like you know,
- 1:34:01Speaker 3: because there are people who don't plan on having children,
- 1:34:05Speaker 3: so what you know, and if there's not a need
- 1:34:08Speaker 3: for financial assistance either way, right, because at this point
- 1:34:14Speaker 3: it's either or it's not just men. You can just
- 1:34:16Speaker 3: put a person. It's not just a man thing. There's
- 1:34:20Speaker 3: women who don't need another person's help either at all.
- 1:34:26Speaker 3: So I guess the mindset is, if that's not I'm
- 1:34:31Speaker 3: not getting enough. And it could just be like in
- 1:34:34Speaker 3: our society, since we don't cut trees no more, and
- 1:34:39Speaker 3: we don't wash clothes on a washboard, we have kind
- 1:34:43Speaker 3: of maybe equally started devaluing what each other can bring
- 1:34:48Speaker 3: to each other each other. I don't have to go
- 1:34:51Speaker 3: hunt or keep the bear from getting to you, and
- 1:34:54Speaker 3: you don't have to sweep its clay or you know,
- 1:34:58Speaker 3: start a fire from scratch every time, and we cook.
- 1:35:02Speaker 3: You know, most of the conveniences of home now allows
- 1:35:06Speaker 3: us really absorbing an amount of freedom, freedom of thought.
- 1:35:13Speaker 12: You know.
- 1:35:13Speaker 3: It's almost like they say, idle mind is the devil's workshop.
- 1:35:17Speaker 3: You're not worried about even having to make him some
- 1:35:21Speaker 3: gens for tomorrow, or fixing his genes or tomorrow, or
- 1:35:27Speaker 3: cleaning his boots, and the same thing on the other side.
- 1:35:30Speaker 3: So I think some of our advancement in life also
- 1:35:35Speaker 3: can attribute to you know, and then that component of
- 1:35:39Speaker 3: technology comes just a comparison. Yes, it allows so much
- 1:35:45Speaker 3: comparison to lives that is not even around you of
- 1:35:50Speaker 3: what someone should do or trying to keep up with
- 1:35:55Speaker 3: the job for men and women. So I think that,
- 1:35:58Speaker 3: you know, I can't sit here and I can definitely
- 1:36:00Speaker 3: see what he's saying in his in his mind. Maybe
- 1:36:03Speaker 3: whatever pain he might have felt or he didn't feel
- 1:36:07Speaker 3: like he was getting equal value and the relationship he
- 1:36:12Speaker 3: may have seen.
- 1:36:13Speaker 6: Some people putting up with stuff that man, i'd have
- 1:36:15Speaker 6: been left, but I got to support these kids.
- 1:36:18Speaker 1: I got all of that kind of.
- 1:36:19Speaker 3: Well, because imagine anyone if you're hit a household or
- 1:36:22Speaker 3: you're in parents. You know, if it takes us a
- 1:36:25Speaker 3: long while now to start seeing the value of our children,
- 1:36:29Speaker 3: because it's not like they're helping us. My mom would
- 1:36:35Speaker 3: just come in for work and tell me the keys
- 1:36:37Speaker 3: were on the counter. You know what that means, Get
- 1:36:39Speaker 3: that bucket and get out there to washing. Like you
- 1:36:43Speaker 3: used to have to have some kind of chore to
- 1:36:46Speaker 3: contribute to family to show that you was worth being
- 1:36:49Speaker 3: in it.
- 1:36:50Speaker 1: Now, my kids' efforts is grades.
- 1:36:57Speaker 6: I'm paying too much money for y'all to be you
- 1:37:00Speaker 6: know that, I mean, because there is no Hey, what
- 1:37:02Speaker 6: happened to the weren't you supposed to? The dish washer
- 1:37:06Speaker 6: washes the dishes, the uh, the detail shot cleans the car.
- 1:37:11Speaker 3: So I think, I think that maybe that's a component.
- 1:37:13Speaker 3: And if I was sitting talking to Paul, is that
- 1:37:16Speaker 3: he's exploring the between men and women, this dynamic that
- 1:37:20Speaker 3: we don't get enough opportunities per se to show the
- 1:37:24Speaker 3: value of effect we're having right in each other's lives.
- 1:37:30Speaker 3: Because when I woke up, yes the eggs were cooked,
- 1:37:33Speaker 3: but it was by the maid. Right when I came home, Yes,
- 1:37:36Speaker 3: the clothes were folded by the maid. Yeah kind of thing.
- 1:37:42Speaker 3: Yes you fixed my car, but you you had somebody
- 1:37:46Speaker 3: come pick it up the car valet and take it
- 1:37:49Speaker 3: up there to fix it. It's not like you came
- 1:37:51Speaker 3: home with your shirt off jacking the car up. And
- 1:37:55Speaker 3: I got witnessed that well, And so I know what
- 1:37:59Speaker 3: I'm saying. I fathers and fore mothers got to see
- 1:38:03Speaker 3: actual physical example of and appreciate more is you know,
- 1:38:12Speaker 3: when you can say what you want, work speaks much
- 1:38:15Speaker 3: louder than anything.
- 1:38:16Speaker 1: Else, anything else.
- 1:38:17Speaker 6: And I know that sometimes married men can feel or
- 1:38:22Speaker 6: some married men complain about feeling unappreciated because and I've
- 1:38:27Speaker 6: experienced it myself. No matter what's going on in the day,
- 1:38:30Speaker 6: at the end of the day, if something slipped through
- 1:38:33Speaker 6: the cracks and needs to be managed, at the end
- 1:38:37Speaker 6: of the day, my wife at the house, you know, yeah,
- 1:38:43Speaker 6: I ain't finna go back out and anything. If my
- 1:38:45Speaker 6: mother needs something, if the kids need something, it's always
- 1:38:48Speaker 6: the well the man a go get it. Because women
- 1:38:52Speaker 6: don't even want to be out at nighttime. I mean,
- 1:38:53Speaker 6: we have to go through nuances like that, like you're
- 1:38:55Speaker 6: gonna send the lady out at night.
- 1:38:57Speaker 1: That's why you reminded to get the gas an early
- 1:39:00Speaker 1: during the day and stuff so you don't.
- 1:39:01Speaker 3: Have to go out. Yeah, I eliminate all of that.
- 1:39:04Speaker 3: Put my spin on what Paul is saying. Is not
- 1:39:08Speaker 3: just advantage for men. It be advantaged for each men
- 1:39:13Speaker 3: and women based on your circumstances and the dynamics of
- 1:39:16Speaker 3: the house that you live. I guess you can feel like, well,
- 1:39:21Speaker 3: if I'm economically secure, I don't really see the value
- 1:39:27Speaker 3: of what anybody else is bringing, right, because you might
- 1:39:30Speaker 3: have ten other people doing it. Yeah, you know, it's
- 1:39:34Speaker 3: not like, oh, Papa, let me finish, so on your
- 1:39:37Speaker 3: pants so you get to work. That's not really how.
- 1:39:39Speaker 3: We've not lived that way a long, long time, long time.
- 1:39:42Speaker 3: We'll be back more to Sports Shock Show right after this.
- 1:40:01Speaker 4: Don't Go Away, or of the Sports Josh Show with
- 1:40:04Speaker 4: Wayne Dan videos coming up next.
- 1:40:14Speaker 1: My mom has taken up going to the park to
- 1:40:17Speaker 1: practice yoga. My dad's going to a club, but not
- 1:40:20Speaker 1: a book club, a salsa club.
- 1:40:22Speaker 2: Finding new hobbies comes with age.
- 1:40:24Speaker 11: My mom has started getting lost and not knowing where
- 1:40:27Speaker 11: she's going.
- 1:40:28Speaker 22: Becoming lost or disoriented doesn't Confusion with time or place
- 1:40:32Speaker 22: may be a sign of Alzheimer's. An early diagnosis can
- 1:40:34Speaker 22: help improve the quality of life for you loved one.
- 1:40:37Speaker 22: Learn the warning signs of Alzheimer's at tensigns dot org,
- 1:40:40Speaker 22: brought to you by the Alzheimer's Association and the AD Council.
- 1:40:44Speaker 12: And now let's talk about something exciting, life insurance. Three
- 1:40:47Speaker 12: quarters of Americans believe that coverage represents a critical piece
- 1:40:50Speaker 12: of financial security, yet only forty nine percent actually have
- 1:40:54Speaker 12: life insurance.
- 1:40:55Speaker 27: When I was twenty five, me and my wife were
- 1:40:56Speaker 27: just getting started with our family and thought we lived
- 1:40:59Speaker 27: forever life insurance. So what's the last thing on my mind?
- 1:41:01Speaker 1: What about you? Will you be leaving benefits or bills?
- 1:41:04Speaker 27: When I was forty, with a kid in college and
- 1:41:06Speaker 27: bills piling up, I was worried how my family would
- 1:41:08Speaker 27: survive without me. That's what I'm in an appointment with
- 1:41:10Speaker 27: the insurance informant.
- 1:41:11Speaker 12: Information gives you power, and life insurance gives your family
- 1:41:14Speaker 12: security no matter what stage of life you're in.
- 1:41:17Speaker 19: Now that I'm older, I don't worry about whether I
- 1:41:19Speaker 19: leave my family with bills or benefits.
- 1:41:21Speaker 12: The answer is easy, whether you're twenty five or fifty,
- 1:41:24Speaker 12: whether you earn a little or a lot, all you
- 1:41:26Speaker 12: need is the insurance informant to help you build a
- 1:41:28Speaker 12: foundation of security, because without you, your family will have
- 1:41:32Speaker 12: two options, benefits or bills. Which legacy will you leave behind?
- 1:41:37Speaker 12: Log on today benefits or bills dot com? That's benefits
- 1:41:41Speaker 12: orbills dot com.
- 1:41:45Speaker 30: And now back to the sports job. Wayne Gandy's way.
- 1:42:09Speaker 1: Lone on say you can see a sports jain't I'll
- 1:42:13Speaker 1: sing even.
- 1:42:16Speaker 3: Walk back to this boy shock show. I'm this war
- 1:42:18Speaker 3: shock Wayne Gandee. Let me see how I can say
- 1:42:23Speaker 3: this without ruffling too many feathers on this situation. Web Reese,
- 1:42:35Speaker 3: the mother of Angel Reese. If you keep talking about
- 1:42:40Speaker 3: Caitlin Clark and Caitlin Clark doesn't say anything back, it
- 1:42:46Speaker 3: starts coming off like maybe you and your daughter are jealous.
- 1:42:51Speaker 3: Then the spin you keep trying to sell that it's
- 1:42:55Speaker 3: a rivalry because a lot of your comments and your
- 1:42:59Speaker 3: daughter seemed to be on a young lady about her
- 1:43:04Speaker 3: doing her and has nothing to do with you. Y'all
- 1:43:08Speaker 3: aren't teammates, y'all haven't had a game, but you keep
- 1:43:13Speaker 3: this person's name in your mouth, and you keep trying
- 1:43:17Speaker 3: to find some kind of way to bring yourself up
- 1:43:26Speaker 3: to their notoriety, almost like a rap beef when a
- 1:43:34Speaker 3: less known or less popular rapper calls out one of
- 1:43:40Speaker 3: the billboard state farm arena size acts to try to
- 1:43:49Speaker 3: get some kind of pull on their career. So Angerie
- 1:43:55Speaker 3: is a special talent, and I think Anguriche will be
- 1:43:59Speaker 3: able to do who is whatever she wants to do.
- 1:44:02Speaker 3: They're only twenty three years old. But you and your
- 1:44:05Speaker 3: mom seem to have an issue with Caitlin Clark being
- 1:44:12Speaker 3: whatever she is to people, and you keep mentioning and
- 1:44:18Speaker 3: I'm saying this because the other day Iowa had a game.
- 1:44:21Speaker 3: I mean, they had a game in Iowa, which was great.
- 1:44:25Speaker 3: I keep telling lesser leagues. When I say lesser, I'm
- 1:44:29Speaker 3: talking about the ones that doesn't have the consciousness of
- 1:44:31Speaker 3: our country. You've got to plan the spectacle. You might
- 1:44:37Speaker 3: have to do that with a lot of your players.
- 1:44:41Speaker 3: Have a game in Baton Rouge. When you got someone
- 1:44:44Speaker 3: like an Angel Reese have a game in Iowa. Take
- 1:44:49Speaker 3: it to the places where you know, the WWE, the WCW.
- 1:44:56Speaker 6: You don't go to that town. But the people in
- 1:44:58Speaker 6: making love the out for the event. You'd be thinking
- 1:45:02Speaker 6: why they always go to make it because they know
- 1:45:04Speaker 6: they can get seventy thousand people into making coliseum. Right,
- 1:45:10Speaker 6: they bring it here to Atlanta, you be thinking, oh,
- 1:45:12Speaker 6: we got ten times from yeah, but y'all don't come
- 1:45:14Speaker 6: out though.
- 1:45:17Speaker 3: But I just was. You know, they had a game
- 1:45:19Speaker 3: with the Indiana Fever. They were playing the Brazilian national team.
- 1:45:23Speaker 3: Almost two million viewers of that game. Indiana Fever blew
- 1:45:28Speaker 3: them out, but stadium fifteen thousand people showed up right
- 1:45:36Speaker 3: the home of Caitlyn Clark. And then you got some
- 1:45:38Speaker 3: comments to try to make it seem like that's their
- 1:45:42Speaker 3: player for life, and her comment is going to do
- 1:45:46Speaker 3: this and then at any point she can run for
- 1:45:48Speaker 3: Iowa governor senator. She could be the Hayawa Heck basketball coach.
- 1:45:55Speaker 3: She's good. She tim t of the Gators like there's
- 1:46:02Speaker 3: some Michael Jordan always know you got a job, all
- 1:46:05Speaker 3: his money right now, he's still gonna be the chance
- 1:46:08Speaker 3: a little North Carolina.
- 1:46:10Speaker 1: Hansboro prime example.
- 1:46:11Speaker 3: Yes, yeah you can.
- 1:46:15Speaker 6: And the moment the comment was all that certain fan
- 1:46:19Speaker 6: base looking in the stands celebrating attendance while others are
- 1:46:24Speaker 6: looking up in the rafters celebrating championship banners. We ain't
- 1:46:28Speaker 6: the same different year, same haters, have a great day. Now,
- 1:46:34Speaker 6: Are she comparing their college accolade? No, she's talking about
- 1:46:38Speaker 6: the Chicago's guys though, No, she's talking. Okay, I thought
- 1:46:44Speaker 6: she was refired because I'm thinking that which which which,
- 1:46:48Speaker 6: which first of all, sounds a little irrelevant. Yeah, because
- 1:46:53Speaker 6: I'm thinking were talking about w n b A and
- 1:46:56Speaker 6: you're talking about rafters that you know, and then and
- 1:47:00Speaker 6: because remember they were in Iowa, so they wouldn't have
- 1:47:02Speaker 6: had any wn.
- 1:47:05Speaker 1: Okay, okay, I got it now.
- 1:47:07Speaker 6: And then she was talking about after Angel Reese went
- 1:47:11Speaker 6: back to l s U with the Chicago Sky to
- 1:47:13Speaker 6: play the Brazilian team. Oh, the same way they went
- 1:47:17Speaker 6: to Iowa. It's the report I'm reading. Angel Reese has motions,
- 1:47:22Speaker 6: So I'm saying this when she keeps saying like that,
- 1:47:31Speaker 6: she keeps comparing the two like sports Jock said, it
- 1:47:34Speaker 6: seems a lot like a rap beef And what is
- 1:47:37Speaker 6: it with athletes parents?
- 1:47:40Speaker 3: Yeah, I've never seen this level.
- 1:47:45Speaker 1: No, no, I tell you what I think it is.
- 1:47:49Speaker 3: It's a lot of that because I came in counter
- 1:47:51Speaker 3: with it last week at with the Allens with Willie Anderson,
- 1:47:55Speaker 3: my good friend played for the Bengals. He had a
- 1:47:59Speaker 3: mom's love football and he had some young ladies. The
- 1:48:03Speaker 3: mothers up there speaking when I walked in, and all
- 1:48:08Speaker 3: they said was we When we went on a recruiting trip,
- 1:48:13Speaker 3: when we went, it was we we we to the
- 1:48:17Speaker 3: point I had to ask the people next to me,
- 1:48:20Speaker 3: who are their kids right? Because they're never differentiating themselves
- 1:48:27Speaker 3: themselves from the kid. Everything was well how we handled it.
- 1:48:31Speaker 3: So it gives like what you're saying that the parent
- 1:48:35Speaker 3: has stitched themselves so closely that they think they are
- 1:48:40Speaker 3: the person.
- 1:48:42Speaker 11: Well, I was going to say, this is not to
- 1:48:43Speaker 11: cut you off, Kenney, what you're saying like the Halliburtons
- 1:48:47Speaker 11: and these parents right now, these are those AAU parents
- 1:48:50Speaker 11: that we've been talking about for the last fifteen years.
- 1:48:53Speaker 11: The kids have reached a professional level in college where
- 1:48:55Speaker 11: they're helicopter parents. There's the fighting going on in AAU games.
- 1:48:59Speaker 11: Everybody's thinking their parents, the kid is the next Lebron
- 1:49:02Speaker 11: or next Kobe or Ai. And that's where we're getting. No,
- 1:49:07Speaker 11: we're we're just getting to the beginning of that stage
- 1:49:09Speaker 11: of those parents, because it's gonna get worse because they
- 1:49:12Speaker 11: are coming.
- 1:49:13Speaker 6: And I guess I clearly put all of this at
- 1:49:16Speaker 6: the foot of the parents because I've never really understood
- 1:49:20Speaker 6: like Floyd Mayweather Senior taught his son how to box,
- 1:49:24Speaker 6: but on boxing day he put him in the corner
- 1:49:28Speaker 6: and when the bell ring, he said, go get them boy,
- 1:49:30Speaker 6: and just Floyd had to do his own fighting.
- 1:49:33Speaker 1: His dad ain't never jumping the ring.
- 1:49:35Speaker 6: Like wait a minute, wait a minute, this boy is
- 1:49:37Speaker 6: throwing punches that ain't supposed You know what about what
- 1:49:42Speaker 6: about these athletes is their own effort and accomplishment. Why
- 1:49:47Speaker 6: is her mama even talking? Did you ever secause they.
- 1:49:50Speaker 11: See the other mothers, the Jade and Daniels mamas getting
- 1:49:53Speaker 11: the looks, and they see the other mamals, and so
- 1:49:55Speaker 11: I want to get my shine.
- 1:49:57Speaker 3: So ain't nobody teaching leadership no more? We'll bea mort
- 1:50:00Speaker 3: to sports shot show it after this?
- 1:50:02Speaker 29: All right?
- 1:50:03Speaker 11: We just got it?
- 1:50:04Speaker 3: Plain everybody.
- 1:50:05Speaker 29: Please don't make a miss look it some so fuss,
- 1:50:11Speaker 29: don't forget the drink.
- 1:50:13Speaker 9: Don't mean on me.
- 1:50:14Speaker 3: What the hell is this? I'm trying to get fed.
- 1:50:20Speaker 2: Don't go away.
- 1:50:21Speaker 4: Word of the Sports Jock Show with Wayne Dandius coming
- 1:50:24Speaker 4: up next.
- 1:50:26Speaker 12: And now let's talk about something exciting, life insurance. Three
- 1:50:29Speaker 12: quarters of Americans believe that coverage represents a critical piece
- 1:50:32Speaker 12: of financial security, yet only forty nine percent actually have

- 1:50:37Speaker 27: When I was twenty five, me and my wife were

- 1:50:41Speaker 27: Life insurance was the last thing on my mind.

- 1:51:00Speaker 19: Out that I'm molder, I don't worry about whether I'll

- 1:51:19Speaker 12: Log on today benefits or bills? Dot Com that's benefits
- 1:51:23Speaker 12: or bills dot Com. Attention homeowners. Now is the time

- 1:52:27Speaker 12: their ad.
- 1:52:27Speaker 1: On the sports Jock dot com.
- 1:52:31Speaker 3: And now back to the Sports Job Wayne Gandy.
- 1:52:36Speaker 1: Now it's time put a school on board.
- 1:52:39Speaker 5: Can we put a spin on life and sports and
- 1:52:43Speaker 5: how they intermingle on the Sports Jack Show with Wayne Gandy?
- 1:52:57Speaker 3: Walk back to this what shock shum? This what shock winge? Gandy?
- 1:53:18Speaker 3: What else do we have here? Lasik is offering refs.
- 1:53:23Speaker 3: Is that the story free eye surgery because of bad cause?
- 1:53:31Speaker 3: Is that what you sent me, kamand you sent me
- 1:53:33Speaker 3: that stuff I did.
- 1:53:35Speaker 17: Yeah, they're sending their It seemed like a joke, but
- 1:53:39Speaker 17: some referees and umpires have taken Lasick up on their offer.
- 1:53:43Speaker 1: So is that on a high school level also or
- 1:53:45Speaker 1: just college or a professional.
- 1:53:47Speaker 3: From what I've seen, is just professional. Oh okay, now,
- 1:53:50Speaker 3: how is this Lasik surgery just keeps you from having
- 1:53:53Speaker 3: to wear contacts? Yeah?
- 1:53:56Speaker 6: Okay, so I was a candidate. This is a good thing, yes,
- 1:54:00Speaker 6: to correct your vision, but it doesn't mean your vision
- 1:54:04Speaker 6: is not corrected. You just might be using contacts right now.
- 1:54:07Speaker 1: Well, from my understanding, when I first wanted got my glasses.
- 1:54:10Speaker 11: When I went years ago, I was a candidate for
- 1:54:13Speaker 11: they say, hey, you can get lasy laser and they
- 1:54:16Speaker 11: take layers off of your eyes or something to be
- 1:54:19Speaker 11: able to see clear. But what deterred me from doing
- 1:54:22Speaker 11: it because people who've had it like you had to
- 1:54:24Speaker 11: go back ten years later and get a re up.
- 1:54:26Speaker 3: Or maybe what I'm saying is referees, umpires and things
- 1:54:31Speaker 3: like that. Right, most likely if they have bad vision,
- 1:54:35Speaker 3: they were they're glasses or their contacts in I put
- 1:54:37Speaker 3: my Contralasix is offering it as though.
- 1:54:40Speaker 6: It's going to make you not need glasses or contact.
- 1:54:44Speaker 6: That's what I'm saying. It will correct your vision problem
- 1:54:47Speaker 6: if you're near sighted, no more near and if you
- 1:54:50Speaker 6: come out there as official as with glasses on. That's
- 1:54:52Speaker 6: a bad look anyway.
- 1:54:53Speaker 11: A lot of times people are, oh, man, he can't
- 1:54:55Speaker 11: see already, so you want to have your contacts or lazy.
- 1:55:01Speaker 3: I never knew that. I never knew that because I
- 1:55:03Speaker 3: would think that I would be thinking, well, at least
- 1:55:05Speaker 3: that person is studious enough.
- 1:55:07Speaker 1: I want to see the call. Well, no, because it's no.
- 1:55:11Speaker 1: It looks like you're you're out there with glasses on.
- 1:55:13Speaker 1: That's what we were. It's just one of those unwritten rules.
- 1:55:17Speaker 11: As far as you want, you never see an official
- 1:55:19Speaker 11: out there with glasses if you if you notice it.
- 1:55:22Speaker 1: But I'm sure a lot of them have not basketball.
- 1:55:25Speaker 1: But what official have you seen?
- 1:55:27Speaker 3: I've seen it in football?
- 1:55:28Speaker 1: Yeah, maybe football, and but basketball. I'm I'm speaking on basketball.
- 1:55:32Speaker 3: They's like, but we weren't just talking about basketball. We
- 1:55:34Speaker 3: were talking about sports.
- 1:55:37Speaker 1: I haven't seen. I haven't seen too.
- 1:55:39Speaker 11: I haven't seen too many baseball officials with but they
- 1:55:43Speaker 11: have their sunglasses.
- 1:55:44Speaker 1: But I don't know. I'm gonna leave it alone.
- 1:55:45Speaker 11: But it shouldn't have glasses on that because it makes
- 1:55:49Speaker 11: it look it doesn't look good.
- 1:55:51Speaker 3: Well, most of them don't look good anyway in their uniforms.
- 1:55:54Speaker 3: So the glasses is not going to make it. Don't
- 1:55:56Speaker 3: look no different. They don't look like they're in shape
- 1:55:59Speaker 3: or fit the game. So I mean you're making a
- 1:56:05Speaker 3: scene like that's what I'm gonna be paying.
- 1:56:08Speaker 1: Look at that muscular guy over there with glasses on,
- 1:56:11Speaker 1: looking at the gut hanging. This dude gonna.
- 1:56:13Speaker 6: Pass out, pass out a boy the third quarter of
- 1:56:16Speaker 6: this dude is gonna need medical attention.
- 1:56:18Speaker 3: Twenty yards behind the plate.
- 1:56:20Speaker 1: I'm saying now, holding about hold you over here with me, Yeah, honey, roll.
- 1:56:28Speaker 6: You don't want to try to make it like oh yeah,
- 1:56:30Speaker 6: I'm gonna be out there looking like, oh man, look
- 1:56:32Speaker 6: the ref can't see because he got on his glasses.
- 1:56:35Speaker 1: That's gonna even make no sense.
- 1:56:36Speaker 6: The ref is thirty yards behind the play and he
- 1:56:39Speaker 6: leaning over with his hands on his knees.
- 1:56:42Speaker 1: That's why I thought he missed the play.
- 1:56:44Speaker 3: President Trump, two things that have been in the airways
- 1:56:49Speaker 3: the last couple of days. Here one looks like he
- 1:56:53Speaker 3: might jump into this whole n I Ill controversy. I've
- 1:56:58Speaker 3: been talking to Nick Saban considering an executive order to
- 1:57:03Speaker 3: limit in al Now what aspect of that he hasn't
- 1:57:08Speaker 3: really made mention that as far as I have read,
- 1:57:11Speaker 3: but it could be the guidelines as far as how
- 1:57:15Speaker 3: many times you can transfer, and how do you put
- 1:57:19Speaker 3: the contract that the school has some kind of recourse. Yeah, yeah,
- 1:57:26Speaker 3: and come on, man, I think that's kind of the
- 1:57:28Speaker 3: two things of why Nick Saban stepped away, because there's
- 1:57:33Speaker 3: no recourse. You come in by my player, but in
- 1:57:35Speaker 3: the pros you got to give me something, a washing machine, something,
- 1:57:40Speaker 3: couple ice, a cup of ice.
- 1:57:43Speaker 1: Something.
- 1:57:43Speaker 3: You just came in and took my safety.
- 1:57:45Speaker 6: I'm saying, then I get a jersey to put on
- 1:57:48Speaker 6: the next dude or something I need. We sit here
- 1:57:51Speaker 6: with an empty space and all of that time and
- 1:57:54Speaker 6: resource that it took to get this dude. You get
- 1:57:56Speaker 6: that to where you can give to someone else. Excuse me,
- 1:57:59Speaker 6: You get that scholarship back that you can give to
- 1:58:02Speaker 6: someone else. Yeah, but I'm saying, and think about in
- 1:58:05Speaker 6: any other league you have to you can't just come
- 1:58:08Speaker 6: take my player unless he's free. There's all kind of
- 1:58:11Speaker 6: tampering rules that's going on right now. So it's not
- 1:58:14Speaker 6: like we're trying to cage the kid in. It's just
- 1:58:16Speaker 6: that you came and coached right and that's what leave
- 1:58:20Speaker 6: in the middle of the night. A lot of schools.
- 1:58:22Speaker 6: That's their whole philosophy. Now, until some rules are put
- 1:58:24Speaker 6: in place, they're not even recruiting high school players. They're
- 1:58:29Speaker 6: just gonna deal with other teams. I just wait, your quarterback, blossoms,
- 1:58:33Speaker 6: I've come over here without you knowing.
- 1:58:35Speaker 1: I ain't got to talk to you.
- 1:58:36Speaker 3: I ain't got to talk to you. And when you
- 1:58:38Speaker 3: go to practice tomorrow and you say first team defense up,
- 1:58:44Speaker 3: he is not even dead, your starting linebacker.
- 1:58:50Speaker 6: And then you call him and you say, hey boy,
- 1:58:53Speaker 6: you get up out that bed and get over here
- 1:58:55Speaker 6: to the practice field.
- 1:58:56Speaker 3: And he'd be like, I'm I'm in Texas.
- 1:59:01Speaker 1: You sitting somewhere in Athens, Georgia.
- 1:59:03Speaker 3: We yea.
- 1:59:07Speaker 1: New phone?
- 1:59:08Speaker 3: Who is this?
- 1:59:10Speaker 6: President Trumps also is thinking of a movie tariff. I know,
- 1:59:13Speaker 6: Big Kenny, you said you went to see Centers. Yeah,
- 1:59:15Speaker 6: I would see the movie Centers.
- 1:59:16Speaker 3: Tariff seems to be centered around trying to get people
- 1:59:19Speaker 3: to shoot films back in America.
- 1:59:21Speaker 6: Yeah, and he put it on intellectual property to uh
- 1:59:26Speaker 6: put the tariff on the filming of the intellectual property
- 1:59:30Speaker 6: outside of the United States.
- 1:59:32Speaker 1: Then being district distributed here.
- 1:59:35Speaker 6: So I would go to Taiwan and film my movie
- 1:59:38Speaker 6: for really cheap and then come make two hundred billion
- 1:59:41Speaker 6: dollars on the movie here in the United States. But
- 1:59:43Speaker 6: for me to bring in to the United States, it
- 1:59:46Speaker 6: either has to be filmed here or we pay the tax.
- 1:59:49Speaker 11: Should make Tyler Perry no doubt on that side, with
- 1:59:51Speaker 11: all those studios feel good.
- 1:59:52Speaker 6: Well, you have to understand that a lot of what
- 1:59:55Speaker 6: Hollywood will try and a test or assert is that
- 2:00:00Speaker 6: the realism is what we're going for when we go
- 2:00:03Speaker 6: on location out of the country.
- 2:00:05Speaker 1: But all they do is go out of the country
- 2:00:06Speaker 1: and use the sounds b roll well.
- 2:00:09Speaker 3: John John Boord said he would like Hollywood before he dies,
- 2:00:12Speaker 3: and he's close to about ninety now. He said he
- 2:00:14Speaker 3: would like to see Hollywood become Hollywood again. Yes, yes,
- 2:00:18Speaker 3: that really most most excuse me, most of what you
- 2:00:21Speaker 3: watch is not even filmed in la now anymore. Most
- 2:00:25Speaker 3: of us filmed here, film anywhere, and some films are
- 2:00:30Speaker 3: shot in different locations outside the country for those cheaper prices. Yes,
- 2:00:35Speaker 3: or they can house and set up these big o,
- 2:00:38Speaker 3: elaborate Game of Throne sets and just let him sit
- 2:00:41Speaker 3: there without having to worry about being rushed and things
- 2:00:46Speaker 3: like that. Just looks like he's trying to bring the
- 2:00:48Speaker 3: film industry back and real quick. How was centers?
- 2:00:53Speaker 6: You could wait for it to come to stream it
- 2:00:55Speaker 6: it was a it was a theater only release, and
- 2:00:58Speaker 6: you wait for it come to you Netflix.
- 2:01:02Speaker 1: Don't did any other have you seen it?
- 2:01:05Speaker 12: No?
- 2:01:05Speaker 3: I have not seen it.
- 2:01:06Speaker 6: I seen so wait for Yeah, don't run out, don't
- 2:01:09Speaker 6: don't run out and get the two buckets a large
- 2:01:11Speaker 6: popcorn with the large treks and we're at the non
- 2:01:15Speaker 6: uh matinee prices.
- 2:01:16Speaker 1: It's not necessary to.
- 2:01:17Speaker 3: Do that, okay, and we are no.
- 2:01:22Speaker 1: The truth is he will throw your in the ocean.
- 2:01:25Speaker 5: It's time to rap things up on the Sports Juck
