- 0:27Speaker 2: is here, Hey, Ems, how's it going wonderful? You know,
- 0:31Speaker 2: I got a little go go music from Potomac. If
- 0:35Speaker 2: you're not familiar with the go go music that they
- 0:36Speaker 2: play in all of the interstitials going from scene to scene,
- 0:40Speaker 2: here it goes, oh, yes, yes, that's right, that's right.
- 0:46Speaker 2: Here comes Ashley with some tea. Ashley with the tea.
- 0:50Speaker 2: Here comes Karen deflecting. I'm so say I didn't know
- 0:55Speaker 2: what go Go music was before I watched The Real
- 0:58Speaker 2: Housewives of Potomac, and I used to talk about the
- 1:01Speaker 2: music on serious exem all the time and how much
- 1:03Speaker 2: I loved it, and people were like, that's go go music,
- 1:06Speaker 2: So that's what that is.
- 1:07Speaker 3: Size I would say that music sexless marriage, stupid pranking idiots.
- 1:17Speaker 2: Can't wait for New York Recap tomorrow? No, no, So
- 1:25Speaker 2: you know Si is a TV star, You're a TV star.
- 1:30Speaker 2: Sunset Boulevard, I'm ready for my close shop. Shannon storms
- 1:39Speaker 2: in the remake of Sunset Boulevard actually, who would that be?
- 1:44Speaker 2: Who would be the best? Would it be like Luanne
- 1:47Speaker 2: that could reprise that role in Sunset Boulevard?
- 1:49Speaker 3: Yes, yes that is. I can't think of anybody else
- 1:53Speaker 3: that it could be. I mean yeah, because nobody has
- 1:57Speaker 3: the showmanship. Yes, Kathy Hilton has the vibe, but has
- 2:04Speaker 3: it all.
- 2:05Speaker 2: Oh yeah, Kathy would do like a prat fall or
- 2:08Speaker 2: something down the stairs just to try to be funny. Oh,
- 2:11Speaker 2: I'm ready for my close up. Oh no, Rick, I'm
- 2:13Speaker 2: fulling oops. Oh I'm so quirky.
- 2:17Speaker 3: But Lou's gonna have a grand piano with all of
- 2:19Speaker 3: her pictures in frames, you know what I mean?
- 2:23Speaker 2: Yes, those hats that Luanne wears, like those like tilted fedoras,
- 2:30Speaker 2: and they just killing me everything. Stuart and I have
- 2:38Speaker 2: this thing where we'll send like Luan's picture or whatever
- 2:43Speaker 2: she's doing on her Instagram to each other and we're
- 2:46Speaker 2: like you walking into you know, high Tops last night
- 2:50Speaker 2: or whatever, you showing up at the at the award show,
- 2:55Speaker 2: you know, like at the Angel Awards, Like we're.
- 2:57Speaker 3: All that's so funny. John Hartman and I do that
- 3:03Speaker 3: with Karina Longworth, the host of You Must Remember This.
- 3:06Speaker 3: We will do that with her photos and just but
- 3:09Speaker 3: not you, just like I know when he sends me
- 3:12Speaker 3: a picture of her with a cocktail, he wants to
- 3:14Speaker 3: go to happy hour and if I can't do it,
- 3:17Speaker 3: I'll send like a sad picture. And then he sends
- 3:20Speaker 3: like a picture of her without an emotion back to me.
- 3:23Speaker 3: Like that's we communicate almost totally in Koreena.
- 3:26Speaker 2: Along with the photos, those are your Yeah, those are
- 3:29Speaker 2: your emojis.
- 3:30Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah, exactly.
- 3:31Speaker 2: You got to add them to your keyboard. You just,
- 3:34Speaker 2: oh my god, that's so funny. You know you can
- 3:36Speaker 2: make those stickers. Oh oh yes, Okay, I was gonna say,
- 3:40Speaker 2: you can make that really easy for you guys.
- 3:42Speaker 3: Yeah, sometimes they don't, they are They just don't come
- 3:46Speaker 3: off big enough for a full sentence.
- 3:49Speaker 2: Oh sure, sure, understand for a full sentence. Yeah, I
- 3:53Speaker 2: got you, I got you. Yeah. Well, you guys were
- 3:59Speaker 2: healing and we're thriving today because potomac is just so good.
- 4:05Speaker 1: Not just surviving.
- 4:07Speaker 2: Were healing and robbing. Talk to your doctor about cymbalta.
- 4:13Speaker 2: Cymbalta can come. I don't even know what cymbalta's for, but.
- 4:19Speaker 3: No, but it works. You can put any medication at
- 4:22Speaker 3: the end of that song and it works.
- 4:24Speaker 2: There was a medication commercial on the other day that
- 4:27Speaker 2: like that literally took my attention away from whatever it
- 4:32Speaker 2: is that I was doing, and I just sat there
- 4:34Speaker 2: and enjoyed the hell out of it.
- 4:36Speaker 3: Wow, They're all started with a screen it.
- 4:41Speaker 2: Was they had it was people, and they had choreographed
- 4:46Speaker 2: a dance in the office. And I'm talking about you
- 4:51Speaker 2: know what I'm talking about. Okay, holler at me if
- 4:54Speaker 2: you know what I'm talking about. I think it starts
- 4:56Speaker 2: with the seat. It might be it's not, it might
- 4:58Speaker 2: be even select or some Balta or Sarah Bella La.
- 5:04Speaker 2: But then everyone's wearing the color palette is what got me.
- 5:08Speaker 2: I was like, Wow, the person who was in charge
- 5:11Speaker 2: of wardrobe really killed it with all the colors. They're
- 5:14Speaker 2: just they were like muted like a mint.
- 5:18Speaker 3: But like Love is Blind, it has very Love is
- 5:21Speaker 3: Blind jewel tone vibes. Everybody's commenting jeweled.
- 5:25Speaker 2: It's not jeweled though they're not.
- 5:27Speaker 3: But I'm saying it's in the same family as Love
- 5:30Speaker 3: is Blind in terms of the set and the look
- 5:32Speaker 3: of Okay, this was very worked on.
- 5:35Speaker 2: Oh worked just w E r K, you know. And
- 5:40Speaker 2: then the choreography in the song. I mean it slapped.
- 5:44Speaker 3: I mean.
- 5:48Speaker 2: Could have been this anyway. Were you.
- 5:53Speaker 3: High? No, it wasn't because I remember the commercial, but
- 5:58Speaker 3: I don't remember these feels.
- 6:01Speaker 2: Yeah, I would like to have said I was, but
- 6:03Speaker 2: I was not. I was stone cold, middle of the
- 6:05Speaker 2: day doing my chores on Saturday, and the TV was
- 6:09Speaker 2: on and I just walked on by and I said,
- 6:11Speaker 2: this is a great ad whatever I mean for wow,
- 6:14Speaker 2: just put me in a good mood. And with that note,
- 6:19Speaker 2: we welcome you into the Potomac recap. Y welcome and thanks.
- 6:25Speaker 2: Everybody who's telling me that they're getting welcomed in all
- 6:27Speaker 2: over the country, all over the nation, especially in Utah.
- 6:31Speaker 3: Well that's a zero for welcome in it totally ground zero.
- 6:38Speaker 3: That's where that happened.
- 6:39Speaker 2: H that's where. That's where that happens. I'm surprised to
- 6:43Speaker 2: not be welcomed and everywhere I discus. All right, So,
- 6:47Speaker 2: speaking of healing and thriving, I just want to quickly,
- 6:50Speaker 2: real quick, get to Ashley's house because we went to
- 6:52Speaker 2: ashley souse twice for two scenes in this episode, and
- 6:55Speaker 2: I was like, this is great because now we've got
- 6:58Speaker 2: a whole new you know just got this new she's
- 7:00Speaker 2: got this new life. She's really acclimenting, acclementing to single
- 7:04Speaker 2: mom life, acclimating. Thank you, I was just gonna laugh out.
- 7:09Speaker 2: I was acclementing. I was acclementing to being a single
- 7:14Speaker 2: math when Joe and I was splitting up. At least
- 7:20Speaker 2: I caught myself, just like I did yesterday when I
- 7:22Speaker 2: tried to make something into something that was really serious.
- 7:25Speaker 2: I was like, it has a lot of levity. Remember that.
- 7:28Speaker 3: Oh yeah, that's Tamarin Hall show.
- 7:30Speaker 2: Yeah, well, yeah that's nine.
- 7:31Speaker 3: It's fine. Look, I'm going to miss name Alexis all
- 7:36Speaker 3: the time, and that's what I'm going to do.
- 7:39Speaker 2: Okay, we all have our flaws. Anyways, So we're Ashley's.
- 7:45Speaker 2: How several times she's acclimating as a single mom and
- 7:49Speaker 2: she's serving up popcorn, croissants and strawberries. How do you
- 7:53Speaker 2: feel about this menu?
- 7:54Speaker 3: Oh? This is this? This is the earlier.
- 7:57Speaker 2: Jazzy when Jizy and Karen were there.
- 7:59Speaker 3: Because whenever we're at Ashley's, I just imagined her kids
- 8:03Speaker 3: climbing all over that kitchen island and they're still doing it. Yes, yes, yeah,
- 8:09Speaker 3: I didn't understand the popcorn.
- 8:11Speaker 2: No but I gotta tell you don't sleep on popcorn
- 8:14Speaker 2: as a snack, And for that I appreciated it. But
- 8:16Speaker 2: what a one hell of a bowl?
- 8:18Speaker 3: You know, one bit Gazelle called it out. I didn't
- 8:22Speaker 3: totally catch it.
- 8:24Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, yeah yeah, And it was a huge Just like,
- 8:27Speaker 2: are we gonna see? Are we watching like Inside Out too?
- 8:30Speaker 3: Right now? Wait?
- 8:30Speaker 2: What's going on? Is this this screening? Are we gonna
- 8:34Speaker 2: watch Wild Robot? Is this some sort of Bravo and Potomac,
- 8:39Speaker 2: you know, collaboration on an ad that all of a sudden,
- 8:42Speaker 2: we're gonna oh, maybe it's a drug ad. Yeah, maybe
- 8:44Speaker 2: maybe it's gonna be like a cymbalta lexapro something.
- 8:50Speaker 3: Pop in that corn. Yeah, I don't know.
- 8:54Speaker 2: Oh my god, what if like in two weeks, all
- 8:57Speaker 2: of a sudden, Ashley, every single time you go to
- 8:59Speaker 2: our house, she has popcorn, and then in two weeks
- 9:01Speaker 2: she's like, you know what, it's crazy. I'm organically just
- 9:05Speaker 2: into popcorn and I'm making my own brand because I'm poppin.
- 9:11Speaker 3: And then we get one of those three minute ads
- 9:14Speaker 3: on Bravo of Ashley with smart.
- 9:16Speaker 2: Pop Smart, It'll be pop it whatever it.
- 9:19Speaker 3: Is, it'll just be very long and poorly put together.
- 9:23Speaker 2: Yeah, nothing like a symbol to ad. But this olive
- 9:27Speaker 2: oil and lemon drink is concerning to me.
- 9:31Speaker 3: Yeah, she's really pushing it.
- 9:32Speaker 2: Yeah are we? Are we all as a nation going
- 9:35Speaker 2: to be okay with this? She wants to help her
- 9:37Speaker 2: mom with health, and yet she's essentially like giving your
- 9:41Speaker 2: castor oil to just shit herself out everywhere left to right.
- 9:45Speaker 2: I don't know what's going to happen.
- 9:47Speaker 3: Yeah, I just think, like Ashley, read an article that
- 9:51Speaker 3: on a questionable website, and I'm sure that yes, this
- 9:55Speaker 3: is not going to kill you, and yes there might
- 9:57Speaker 3: be a health benefit or two. I have no idea. Yeah,
- 10:00Speaker 3: but like to to leap over all the other obvious
- 10:03Speaker 3: choices and go straight to this. I was surprised.
- 10:06Speaker 2: I surprised.
- 10:08Speaker 3: So her mom looks good.
- 10:10Speaker 2: Her mom looks great. Yeah she does. And you know,
- 10:12Speaker 2: when we saw that flashback to her, you could tell,
- 10:16Speaker 2: you know, she's had a glow up to as as
- 10:19Speaker 2: many of the side characters of the families have, because
- 10:24Speaker 2: you know, the housewives start paying for their parents to
- 10:27Speaker 2: you know.
- 10:28Speaker 3: But I think she looked like she had lost some weight.
- 10:30Speaker 3: Now I don't know.
- 10:31Speaker 2: Oh yeah, she did look like that.
- 10:33Speaker 3: Yeah, you're right, Yeah, like she just looked healthier to me,
- 10:36Speaker 3: but that could also be you know, who knows what's
- 10:39Speaker 3: going on with her heart and Ashley's concerned there, so
- 10:42Speaker 3: I get that, like, yeah, she might look better, but
- 10:45Speaker 3: that might not. Everything's great.
- 10:47Speaker 2: What you mean is like it could have been, you know,
- 10:49Speaker 2: because of a health scare that she lost the weight
- 10:51Speaker 2: and not because Yeah, but it says on the Internet's
- 10:56Speaker 2: the AI overview says about this lemon juice and olive
- 10:59Speaker 2: oil drank that it's a mixture. Well we already know
- 11:02Speaker 2: what's in it, but it's often consumed on an empty
- 11:05Speaker 2: stomach in the morning and touted for potential benefits like
- 11:09Speaker 2: improved digestion, detoxification and overall gut health. It's the lemon glass.
- 11:15Speaker 3: I mean itself. Let me tell you, I because I
- 11:19Speaker 3: went down the road of like like live in the
- 11:22Speaker 3: olive oil. Baby, that's Mediterranean, and like, yeah, I came
- 11:26Speaker 3: so much weight because I was doing like the olive oil, coffee,
- 11:29Speaker 3: the olive oil, the olive like everything really the top. Yeah,
- 11:33Speaker 3: And so I'm just I'm saying, like you can overdo
- 11:37Speaker 3: it with the olive oil. You can yeah, and in
- 11:41Speaker 3: terms of if you're if you have a heart problem, like,
- 11:44Speaker 3: I don't know if you really want to be doing that.
- 11:46Speaker 3: Oh shit, Actually, but I love olive oil, and I
- 11:53Speaker 3: you know, Starbucks had that olive oil coffee and it
- 11:55Speaker 3: was so good.
- 11:56Speaker 2: Are you kidding me? So this is the whole thing.
- 11:58Speaker 2: I did not know this was going on out there
- 12:00Speaker 2: in the world.
- 12:01Speaker 3: Well, well, the olive oil coffee they just pulled from
- 12:04Speaker 3: most stores in the US. I think the.
- 12:06Speaker 2: Basics it was dangerous and expensive and immoral.
- 12:11Speaker 3: Okay, Now, I don't know if i've yeah right, okay,
- 12:16Speaker 3: I wouldn't say it's horrible. I wouldn't. It's actually delicious.
- 12:21Speaker 2: The devil, the devil worshiping coffee.
- 12:28Speaker 3: No, it's really expensive and no one was into it.
- 12:30Speaker 3: And now that the Starbucks has a new CEO, he's like, cool,
- 12:34Speaker 3: we're gonna put this side project away. Thank you.
- 12:37Speaker 2: Side project. It gets work. Cake pops up in here. Yeah. Yeah.
- 12:43Speaker 2: So Karen comes over and she's like, I was disappointed
- 12:46Speaker 2: that Mia and Jacqueline said that I came to them
- 12:49Speaker 2: for alcohol rehabilitation because me as a liar and the
- 12:54Speaker 2: plaus Mia had a problem with opioids. If you didn't
- 12:57Speaker 2: hear this in the last episode Episoid. I want to
- 13:00Speaker 2: say it again on this episode that she was on opioids.
- 13:04Speaker 2: It's on YouTube. It on YouTube, which was, yeah.
- 13:10Speaker 3: It was. And I also with the with plugging the
- 13:15Speaker 3: joint and then but the way it was described, the
- 13:20Speaker 3: way Mia described it, I thought she went to the
- 13:22Speaker 3: joint for rehab of opioid addiction.
- 13:26Speaker 2: It was not a good description.
- 13:29Speaker 3: And this one she kind of like explained her logic
- 13:34Speaker 3: of right Cairo practors helping you I with opioid addiction.
- 13:41Speaker 3: I was surprised that Bravo didn't have some kind of
- 13:44Speaker 3: scroll at the bottom of the screen.
- 13:46Speaker 2: Right, it's okay, right, that getting your back cracked does
- 13:51Speaker 2: does not heal you from hell? You hell, you from oes.
- 13:57Speaker 3: But wouldn't you if somebody Karen keeps saying it out loud,
- 14:02Speaker 3: and I'm like, how is nobody registering If you are
- 14:05Speaker 3: someone that is an addict, then you can really spot it,
- 14:10Speaker 3: I would assume, and somebody else. So I would think
- 14:14Speaker 3: Mia pointing it out and saying you need this would
- 14:17Speaker 3: actually be like a wake up call to Karen. But
- 14:22Speaker 3: Karen's like, I'm not taking advice from you. You're an addict.
- 14:26Speaker 2: Well, but Mia doesn't claim that she is an addict.
- 14:31Speaker 2: She said that it's a little bit tricky. It sounded
- 14:34Speaker 2: like she's kind of contradicting herself because she was saying
- 14:37Speaker 2: I wasn't an addict. I just overmost.
- 14:40Speaker 3: Yeah, and she said I had a problem. Yeah, I
- 14:45Speaker 3: don't know what it is. I mean, she's maybe doesn't define.
- 14:48Speaker 3: But either way, if I'm Karen and somebody, I have
- 14:53Speaker 3: somebody that's been in it.
- 14:55Speaker 2: Right, but I guess Karen feels like it's come. Yes, exactly.
- 14:59Speaker 2: She's not a pro it the way an actual, like
- 15:02Speaker 2: normal addict would, you know, could confront someone and share
- 15:07Speaker 2: their concern you know what I mean? Right, Instead, Karen
- 15:12Speaker 2: feels threatened. And then I was served.
- 15:18Speaker 3: When you go low? What does she say? When you
- 15:20Speaker 3: go low, I return the serve?
- 15:22Speaker 2: This is not all the show again? Oh no, she
- 15:26Speaker 2: did mean that. She meant that if someone else goes low,
- 15:29Speaker 2: then you try to go high, but if you can't,
- 15:31Speaker 2: then just go low and lower. Yeah, that is like
- 15:35Speaker 2: my favorite saying. Karen just delivers and the returning serve
- 15:42Speaker 2: thing just has me. I know we've heard it before,
- 15:45Speaker 2: but in this context and the way she's saying, it
- 15:47Speaker 2: gives me so much life. Yeah, and she said it twice,
- 15:52Speaker 2: oh yeah, but she did say like on the YouTube
- 15:55Speaker 2: thing and then later about how she was hospitalized for
- 16:00Speaker 2: weeks because she overdosed, which is so terrifying because apparently
- 16:04Speaker 2: that happened after she had her baby and then she
- 16:06Speaker 2: had a cesarean and so she just like was just
- 16:09Speaker 2: kept going because pain and that is so easy. That
- 16:13Speaker 2: happens so easily to people, Like it's crazy.
- 16:16Speaker 3: Well it should be happening, So it should.
- 16:19Speaker 2: Be happening more.
- 16:21Speaker 3: What it should be happening more, It really should. But
- 16:23Speaker 3: they have modified opioids and the last because like that's
- 16:27Speaker 3: what the Sackler family got in trouble for.
- 16:29Speaker 2: Who are the Sackler family.
- 16:31Speaker 3: The Sackler family was like the pharmaceutical owner like that.
- 16:35Speaker 3: That was like they were pushing these opioids out that
- 16:39Speaker 3: were highly addictive and they had they didn't need to
- 16:44Speaker 3: go through the FDA because they categorized as something that
- 16:48Speaker 3: had already cleared. But they were highly highly highly addictive.
- 16:52Speaker 3: And that was in the early two thousands and so
- 16:55Speaker 3: a lot of that has changed now. But like I'm
- 16:58Speaker 3: just that's why I with Mia when she said that
- 17:01Speaker 3: she overdosed, I thought, well, does that mean that, like,
- 17:05Speaker 3: you know, if you're an addict, you're an addict. You're
- 17:07Speaker 3: going to get addicted no matter what. So that's why
- 17:10Speaker 3: I didn't know.
- 17:11Speaker 2: Right I Yeah, she could have maybe talked a little
- 17:14Speaker 2: bit more about it, but yeah, it is what it is,
- 17:18Speaker 2: and that's fine. But the idea that chiropractic care can
- 17:23Speaker 2: help your body so that you're not in pain and
- 17:26Speaker 2: then obviously lessen the chances of you having to get
- 17:30Speaker 2: a medication and then potentially become addicted to it. So
- 17:34Speaker 2: I understand where she's going with that. And then after
- 17:39Speaker 2: Karen tells Ashley and Jizzi that she's, you know, upset
- 17:43Speaker 2: at Mia for all this stuff, and that she's on
- 17:45Speaker 2: opioids or was on opioids, then all of a sudden,
- 17:49Speaker 2: Karen's like, how do you feel about Jamal getting married?
- 17:54Speaker 2: And this was I guess I kind of remember maybe
- 17:58Speaker 2: that him getting engaged in the press a long time ago,
- 18:01Speaker 2: but it was wild to hear Gizelle say that the
- 18:04Speaker 2: girls didn't even know he had a girlfriend, and then
- 18:06Speaker 2: all of a sudden they were just confused about him
- 18:08Speaker 2: getting married and Gizelle saying, yeah, pastors and politicians, they
- 18:13Speaker 2: need to be married.
- 18:15Speaker 3: And she was like, I was telling him he needs
- 18:17Speaker 3: to be married, he needs to be married, which I
- 18:19Speaker 3: was like, that was surprising to me.
- 18:21Speaker 2: She wants him to have stability in his job as
- 18:25Speaker 2: a pastor, and her point is is that pastors and
- 18:29Speaker 2: politicians should be married because that gives them more stability
- 18:33Speaker 2: because there's a woman and a wife there. It's that
- 18:36Speaker 2: traditional thing that people look to. And it's just a
- 18:39Speaker 2: bunch of bullshit because at the end of the day,
- 18:41Speaker 2: politicians and pastors are the ones that are always cheating.
- 18:45Speaker 3: So it's like, but I'm like, I guess she wants
- 18:48Speaker 3: that money because I obviously like, well, now she's not
- 18:51Speaker 3: going to get child support, but.
- 18:53Speaker 2: She's encouraging it. Now that her daughters are like graduating.
- 18:57Speaker 3: She probably gets alimony, but and he still has to
- 19:01Speaker 3: pay for the kids. I'm sure he still supports the
- 19:03Speaker 3: girls like in life.
- 19:05Speaker 2: So oh yeah, yeah, she needs Yeah, I get I
- 19:08Speaker 2: get the motivation why she's like, you better get married,
- 19:12Speaker 2: we need to keep this going. I wonder if she
- 19:16Speaker 2: gets alimony anymore. That's interesting, I knows, So, uh, Wendy
- 19:23Speaker 2: and her family. How about this just Wendy two point
- 19:27Speaker 2: zero wen Day Day is just the montage of all
- 19:33Speaker 2: of Wenday's antics and her slogans and her birthday. And
- 19:38Speaker 2: just when you think we've celebrated her birthday enough, we're
- 19:42Speaker 2: gonna continue.
- 19:44Speaker 3: At her kids graduation party, that was so great because
- 19:47Speaker 3: she shut her mom down and be like, this is
- 19:49Speaker 3: not about you and it's about the kids. And then
- 19:55Speaker 3: she's like, so my party.
- 19:59Speaker 2: Class one day classic. When her mom was wearing like
- 20:03Speaker 2: that gold boostie Ala Janet Jackson, I was like, wow,
- 20:09Speaker 2: we got some rhythmmation going on at this like brunch table. Yeah,
- 20:13Speaker 2: this graduation that was so sweet. I love her kids
- 20:16Speaker 2: and her family. I think they're always just a fun
- 20:19Speaker 2: group to be around, you know.
- 20:20Speaker 3: I mean that's why it's so confusing to me about
- 20:23Speaker 3: Eddie's family. Oh right, are you missing out on this?
- 20:27Speaker 3: I don't get it.
- 20:28Speaker 2: He's a nuts They like you said.
- 20:32Speaker 3: They seem so fun, and they like, I mean, yes, Wendy,
- 20:36Speaker 3: if you're just going on last season and the season
- 20:39Speaker 3: before the season before.
- 20:41Speaker 2: Like yes, I said, there might be a little drama
- 20:45Speaker 2: darling there, but yeah, still she's fun.
- 20:49Speaker 3: But the kids are so great, Eddie's cool. Like, I
- 20:51Speaker 3: don't get that. I don't get why you would just
- 20:54Speaker 3: cut it all off. I mean, I know, nuts. Yeah,
- 20:57Speaker 3: we've heard something of an explanation, but that to me
- 21:00Speaker 3: just does not feel right.
- 21:03Speaker 2: I yeah, we've gotten a slight explanation about the two parents,
- 21:09Speaker 2: like the mom and his mom and being friends and
- 21:11Speaker 2: the not and how Wendy wasn't good enough in Eddie's
- 21:15Speaker 2: family's eyes and they were upset that he was marrying
- 21:18Speaker 2: her and because.
- 21:19Speaker 3: Of her mom. And then I don't even know, but like,
- 21:23Speaker 3: don't you want to meet your grandkids?
- 21:25Speaker 2: Yeah? It's really he has.
- 21:27Speaker 3: Given you two sons, Huh. I mean what more would
- 21:30Speaker 3: you want?
- 21:31Speaker 2: What more would you pise? And I love that Susan
- 21:37Speaker 2: gets an allowance. Yeah, super cute. Yeah, so her Eddie's
- 21:43Speaker 2: siblings are going to come to the party, which is
- 21:45Speaker 2: definitely a step in the right direction, but not the parents.
- 21:50Speaker 3: Right which wasn't there something that they were going to
- 21:55Speaker 3: invite them? I guess is what That conversation was a
- 21:58Speaker 3: couple of weeks ago with Wendy and her mom in
- 22:00Speaker 3: the kitchen, she.
- 22:02Speaker 2: Was telling you her birthday, Yeah, that she.
- 22:04Speaker 3: Was going to invite them it wasn't that they were
- 22:07Speaker 3: coming to the party, right.
- 22:08Speaker 2: Correct, Because Eddie's father reached out to Wendy for something.
- 22:13Speaker 3: Oh he said, happy Mother's Day.
- 22:16Speaker 2: Yeah that's right.
- 22:16Speaker 3: I need I need a whole episode on this.
- 22:20Speaker 2: I do too. It's been too many, like years of
- 22:24Speaker 2: guessing and filling in the blanks, no matter how many
- 22:27Speaker 2: stage scenes we have in Wenday's kitchen with her mom
- 22:32Speaker 2: trying to tell us the story, because it just never
- 22:34Speaker 2: adds up. But remember, like the first season that Wendy
- 22:37Speaker 2: was on and they did have that party and for
- 22:41Speaker 2: one of their kids, and like the family was there.
- 22:44Speaker 3: I want to say, Eddie, it couldn't be Eddie's parents.
- 22:48Speaker 2: And Eddie, yeah, they didn't show up that time. So,
- 22:51Speaker 2: like we've been in this for such a long time.
- 22:54Speaker 3: Here's my favorite thing that Wendy and Eddie do is
- 22:57Speaker 3: wake up their kids the morning of their birthday at
- 22:59Speaker 3: the exact time that they were born. Oh didn't I
- 23:02Speaker 3: remember they were doing that last season. And in the
- 23:05Speaker 3: thick of me being like get Wendy off this show,
- 23:08Speaker 3: I was like, oh, that's pretty cool.
- 23:10Speaker 2: It is really sweet. My mom always did that too.
- 23:12Speaker 2: She would tell me happy birthday at the exact time
- 23:14Speaker 2: that I.
- 23:15Speaker 3: Was born, So like, what time were you born?
- 23:18Speaker 2: I think it was like nine something nine am? Yeah,
- 23:23Speaker 2: so yeah, she didn't have to wake me up. But
- 23:25Speaker 2: she would always be like, you know, it's your birthday
- 23:27Speaker 2: right now? Aw, what time were you born? I guess
- 23:31Speaker 2: I should probably know what time were you born?
- 23:33Speaker 3: Yeah, you should know this, especially.
- 23:35Speaker 2: Because she would tell me every year, Oh what time?
- 23:39Speaker 2: Oh six forty three is what time I was born? Sorry,
- 23:42Speaker 2: so she would have to wake me up.
- 23:43Speaker 3: Yeah. I was a six am baby too.
- 23:47Speaker 2: What hollers? Six am baby?
- 23:50Speaker 3: What's what's that? Can we break it? We need a
- 23:53Speaker 3: whole new horoscope of yeah times.
- 23:55Speaker 2: Oh well that's that. Yeah, that's a whole thing that
- 23:59Speaker 2: people do with times. Yes, when someone does your chart,
- 24:04Speaker 2: they get it's the numbers thing. Now, now, be careful
- 24:08Speaker 2: what you wish for. When someone does your chart, they
- 24:11Speaker 2: get all your numbers. So like the time you were born,
- 24:14Speaker 2: the day you were born, that's it.
- 24:18Speaker 3: Thank you. Allie Kennedy.
- 24:23Speaker 2: I don't get that.
- 24:25Speaker 3: James's girlfriend, Oh Kennedy, Oh my god, someone just married
- 24:31Speaker 3: them right off? I sure did.
- 24:33Speaker 2: I was like, Allie's here she doing she's doing charts
- 24:36Speaker 2: now Allie's here. She's got a wrong she's doing. She's
- 24:41Speaker 2: doing numbers on the wrong. Allie, are you dealt with
- 24:43Speaker 2: the numbers?
- 24:46Speaker 3: God?
- 24:47Speaker 2: Mom, I can't I have a couch?
- 24:49Speaker 3: Yeah, poor Allie? All alone? I mean all alone, I
- 24:55Speaker 3: mean with no furniture. Is what I meant to say.
- 24:58Speaker 3: She doesn't need to be with any buddy, is I'm
- 25:01Speaker 3: just sitting thinking of her with that a in a
- 25:04Speaker 3: brand new naked apartment. Yes, what I was saying.
- 25:07Speaker 2: She's healing and thriving, you guys, she's fine after the
- 25:10Speaker 2: engagement breakof Okay, before we move on to anything further,
- 25:18Speaker 2: it's very important you guys thought that we weren't in
- 25:22Speaker 2: a talk about TJ and Stacy Stacy Stacy at her
- 25:27Speaker 2: crash pad and their portraits.
- 25:30Speaker 3: He Okay, I here, I am again wanting to I
- 25:34Speaker 3: am so angry at TJ. But then I'm like, he
- 25:38Speaker 3: is telling us who he is. He is being clear
- 25:41Speaker 3: with Stacy about what he wants. No one's ever been
- 25:45Speaker 3: more clear.
- 25:46Speaker 2: I'm with you, keep talking, keep keep it, keep it going.
- 25:50Speaker 3: Even though I would never be in this situation, never, never,
- 25:56Speaker 3: I'm kind of like, what else can he do to
- 25:58Speaker 3: tell you exactly I mean, he's.
- 26:01Speaker 2: Right and communicating everyone around near her, like the camera
- 26:06Speaker 2: meant her, yeah, her friends, her fake new friends on
- 26:11Speaker 2: the show, right.
- 26:13Speaker 3: And to Stacy's credit, she doesn't seem to be bothered.
- 26:18Speaker 3: It's not like she's weeping in the corner, like why
- 26:20Speaker 3: doesn't he get me? Why? Why why? She's just kind
- 26:23Speaker 3: of like do to do. She doesn't seem to really care.
- 26:26Speaker 3: But the way she describes the relationship, I'm like, oh,
- 26:31Speaker 3: I think you're wrong. I think she just thinks that
- 26:34Speaker 3: this will change once her divorce is final, and once
- 26:38Speaker 3: they're married, I just will be running so far away
- 26:41Speaker 3: from this thing. But I don't want to hang out
- 26:44Speaker 3: with him. But I will say, Okay, fine, you're being honest,
- 26:48Speaker 3: and I can't fault you for that.
- 26:50Speaker 2: I can't fault him for that either. And I continue
- 26:53Speaker 2: to go back to some level of mostly him protecting
- 27:00Speaker 2: his reputation as a Christian and as a public persona,
- 27:05Speaker 2: and that he wouldn't sleep with someone who isn't legally divorced,
- 27:09Speaker 2: and he really wants that out there.
- 27:11Speaker 3: But he's saying until marriage, oh yes, But.
- 27:14Speaker 2: In the meantime, in the meantime, it's just really making
- 27:19Speaker 2: it clear.
- 27:20Speaker 3: So wait, so he will sleep with her after they
- 27:24Speaker 3: after she's legally divorced.
- 27:26Speaker 2: No, I'm just saying, like, that's a huge point I
- 27:30Speaker 2: think that he's making is that, well, not only does
- 27:33Speaker 2: he not sleep with people before marriage, but in this case,
- 27:38Speaker 2: the stakes are even higher because she's technically still married.
- 27:42Speaker 2: And oh, I see what you're saying.
- 27:43Speaker 3: So do you think is it the kind of thing
- 27:46Speaker 3: that they will start hooking up once she's legally divorced?
- 27:51Speaker 2: I mean, I don't know about that, but I mean
- 27:54Speaker 2: probably not. They probably never will. But let's just say
- 27:57Speaker 2: if it was a different scenario. Yeah, I can understand that.
- 28:03Speaker 2: I really can. On some level that makes sense to me. Like,
- 28:06Speaker 2: if you really are, you know, calling yourself a Christian,
- 28:10Speaker 2: and you really walk the walk and you want to
- 28:13Speaker 2: you walk the walk and you talk the talk, and
- 28:15Speaker 2: you are a forward facing personality, you have to send
- 28:20Speaker 2: that message out so that you're parish, well not perish,
- 28:23Speaker 2: but your church, God, your congregation knows that you're not
- 28:29Speaker 2: walking through those doors a hypocrite. He might be leading
- 28:33Speaker 2: worship over there, you know, he can't be sleeping with
- 28:35Speaker 2: a married woman, and so they have to have this
- 28:38Speaker 2: whole facade of we're just friends. So he's just going
- 28:41Speaker 2: around town. Anybody who will listening, Who will listen? No
- 28:43Speaker 2: funny business here, Oh, no funny business. We just happened
- 28:47Speaker 2: to meet and we just happen to be friends. But
- 28:50Speaker 2: the no, no places, no, no, you know, it's like
- 28:53Speaker 2: it's just so over the top. Okay, but wait a
- 28:56Speaker 2: portress rude.
- 28:58Speaker 3: He's just kind of me. Yeah, it's just kind of like,
- 29:01Speaker 3: you know, at least like, yeah, I just feel like
- 29:04Speaker 3: you can be clear, but like maybe be a little
- 29:06Speaker 3: nicer about it to fa.
- 29:09Speaker 2: I mean, they literally seem like brother and sister. Yeah,
- 29:13Speaker 2: and it's kind of and it's creeping me out. Oh,
- 29:16Speaker 2: I can't believe I just said that out loud because
- 29:17Speaker 2: now I'm seeing it through that lens and it's very odd.
- 29:20Speaker 2: But those portraits. Did you notice that Stacy painted Karen's
- 29:26Speaker 2: Veneers on tj oh I loved it. Portrait looks just
- 29:35Speaker 2: like me. Oh I get a war.
- 29:41Speaker 3: Yeah, they were on the outside of.
- 29:42Speaker 2: It, the outside. Yeah, listen, I cannot judge a portrait.
- 29:48Speaker 2: I will not judge someone's art in the sense that
- 29:51Speaker 2: like I am a terrible artist. I cannot draw or paint.
- 29:54Speaker 2: I'm really bad, can you? No? Oh, okay, Brett's really good. Good,
- 30:01Speaker 2: I know, thank God. So Stacy tells TJ in this
- 30:06Speaker 2: portrait time that the girls think that you're running game
- 30:09Speaker 2: on me, and he's like, well, they're not making fun
- 30:12Speaker 2: of you and me, and they're making front of you
- 30:15Speaker 2: know who.
- 30:16Speaker 3: God, Nope, no, thank you. Yeah. I think that I
- 30:23Speaker 3: I don't know where they found Stacy because she really
- 30:27Speaker 3: is like such a simple person. I'm not saying she's dumb, no,
- 30:33Speaker 3: I'm just saying that she's like such a sweet, naive dove. Yes,
- 30:38Speaker 3: And I'm nervous for her and the fact that like
- 30:45Speaker 3: she exists in the world and you know, in in
- 30:50Speaker 3: entertainment and believes all of this and also seems to
- 30:54Speaker 3: believe whatever Karen says too. I'm like, wow, okay.
- 30:59Speaker 2: Right, yeah, she believes anything anybody's yeah, right, yeah, okay.
- 31:05Speaker 2: So let's we already kind of talked about Ashley and
- 31:10Speaker 2: her mom at her house, but it we didn't mention
- 31:14Speaker 2: about Ashley's major concern about her mother's partner yet. Still,
- 31:19Speaker 2: and now she's like, I really appreciate you now more
- 31:23Speaker 2: than ever because you were a single mom and now
- 31:26Speaker 2: I'm a single mom. And I want you to be happy,
- 31:29Speaker 2: and you know who was appreciating you, and her mom
- 31:33Speaker 2: is just like, well, you know, we'll see what happens.
- 31:36Speaker 2: That's all we can do.
- 31:37Speaker 3: And also that her mom works twelve hours a day
- 31:40Speaker 3: and supports this person. Yeah, it made me angry. And
- 31:44Speaker 3: then I felt bad for Ashley because like she's absorbing
- 31:49Speaker 3: this as a long term financial thing that she's going
- 31:53Speaker 3: to have to take on. And so like I know
- 31:57Speaker 3: that Ashley's mom didn't say it, but when she said
- 32:01Speaker 3: it before, like it's none of your business, and I'm like, well, no,
- 32:04Speaker 3: it's literally going to be Ashley's business. Yeah, she's going
- 32:08Speaker 3: to have to support you because of you funding this
- 32:12Speaker 3: guy's life. I just I don't know. The whole thing
- 32:15Speaker 3: is just like, oh so heavy.
- 32:17Speaker 2: It's really heavy. And I remember back in the day
- 32:20Speaker 2: when she tried to give her mom an ultimatum like
- 32:22Speaker 2: we won't Michael, will not give you money if this
- 32:25Speaker 2: man is living at your house. And I think for
- 32:27Speaker 2: a while this guy did move out, and but then
- 32:30Speaker 2: he came back, so and to see that they're still
- 32:33Speaker 2: together is wild. But well, before we move on to
- 32:37Speaker 2: Jesse's party, let's take a quick break the holiday season
- 32:41Speaker 2: is tough on skin. Trust me, I'm a Michigan girl.
- 32:44Speaker 2: I know what it's like. And now I'm in California
- 32:46Speaker 2: and the moisture is just being sucked out of my
- 32:49Speaker 2: skin on a daily basis. You've got your colder weather,
- 32:52Speaker 2: your stuffy indoor heating, and NonStop festivities can lead to

- 33:28Speaker 2: it is the most delicate and with these peptides that

- 33:41Speaker 2: you're using this eye topical supplement, it builds the epidermal
- 33:45Speaker 2: thickness and it's all because of their proprietary OS one peptide.

- 37:47Speaker 3: Yeah, that was TJ also being like, oh, they got
- 37:52Speaker 3: that right, right, Eddie, like meeting the guys and trying
- 37:55Speaker 3: to be like, what are the guys?
- 37:57Speaker 2: Oh my gosh. Yeah, well he's over compensate for a
- 38:00Speaker 2: very uncomfortable situation. And Ashley says, this is no, I'm sorry.
- 38:06Speaker 2: It wasn't Ashley, it was Wenday. It was Wendy. She
- 38:08Speaker 2: was like, this is uh Stacy's man, you know, because
- 38:13Speaker 2: she didn't know what to say. And then TJ's like, oh,
- 38:16Speaker 2: that's right, yell it all it yeah, yeah, yeah, wooh
- 38:19Speaker 2: woo woo. And it was really awkward. And then Stacy
- 38:22Speaker 2: tries to be funny and then she just like walks away,
- 38:24Speaker 2: and you know, it's awkward guys that.
- 38:30Speaker 3: Said, I could do with almost a full episode. I
- 38:34Speaker 3: need an episode of just Wendy's like legit backstory with
- 38:38Speaker 3: the family, and then yes, I would I would like
- 38:41Speaker 3: to watch one full hour uncut of TJ and Stacy.
- 38:47Speaker 3: Just out in.
- 38:49Speaker 2: About TJ and Stacy uncut. Oh my gosh, she's ready
- 38:56Speaker 2: to be disregulated after that, Like yeah, yeah, like.
- 39:01Speaker 3: Two full adults act like eleven year olds, but in
- 39:05Speaker 3: a very reserved way, like two eleven year olds at.
- 39:07Speaker 2: Church, right, you know, I want to see that. I
- 39:10Speaker 2: know some people whose kids are you know, round that
- 39:14Speaker 2: age eleven or so, and they kind of have like
- 39:17Speaker 2: a girlfriend or a boyfriend and they don't talk. They're
- 39:20Speaker 2: like they are girlfriend and boyfriend, but they don't talk
- 39:22Speaker 2: to each other. They don't acknowledge each other. And that's
- 39:25Speaker 2: just how that goes, you know, that's yours. You're right,
- 39:27Speaker 2: That's exactly how it.
- 39:28Speaker 3: Is, unless it's like a full on some like an
- 39:32Speaker 3: all skate. It's all skate. We need to now hold
- 39:35Speaker 3: hands and skate together.
- 39:37Speaker 2: Yeah, and skate backwards if you will one of us,
- 39:40Speaker 2: or skate you won't. I could skate backward. I doesn't
- 39:46Speaker 2: want you guys all to know. But you when I say,
- 39:48Speaker 2: already know that that's an all skate, not a couple
- 39:52Speaker 2: skate topple skate. Yeah, okay, right, No, I actually thought
- 39:57Speaker 2: that's what you meant, so that's what I meant too.
- 39:59Speaker 2: But for listeners, we messed up. Sorry about that. Everyone's like,
- 40:04Speaker 2: it's not an all skate a couple skate. They don't know.
- 40:09Speaker 2: Then we get we get a review that's like one star.
- 40:12Speaker 2: They don't know the difference between an all skate and
- 40:15Speaker 2: a couple skate.
- 40:16Speaker 3: You can't throw up backskating during couple skate. Yes, during
- 40:19Speaker 3: an all skate you could show your tricks and skate fast,
- 40:22Speaker 3: but a couple skate is for holding hands and it's
- 40:25Speaker 3: for like your boyfriend or your girlfriend. Go one star,
- 40:30Speaker 3: God it ends with gaw.
- 40:36Speaker 2: Also give us a five star review and mention how
- 40:39Speaker 2: much you love roller skating and that we appreciate making
- 40:43Speaker 2: sure that we get our facts right here, andrama darling
- 40:45Speaker 2: about what the difference is between an all skate and
- 40:48Speaker 2: a couple skate. Who could skate backwards? In between you
- 40:53Speaker 2: and me, raise your hand if you can skate backwards,
- 40:58Speaker 2: only one of us is raising their hand.
- 41:00Speaker 3: I can't do just about everything, but I could never
- 41:04Speaker 3: do the backward skate. Now people have explained how to
- 41:07Speaker 3: do it many times and I've tried it. I just
- 41:10Speaker 3: can't do it, thank you.
- 41:12Speaker 2: Okay, No, you can do everything else, like I can.
- 41:18Speaker 3: Do the one leg out okay, like the one straight
- 41:21Speaker 3: leg out down?
- 41:22Speaker 2: Can you cross over like that? Great me too? Okay, excellent? Wow? Yeah,
- 41:28Speaker 2: really the backward skate has alluded you to it?
- 41:31Speaker 3: Yeah, I Jessica Joy, friend of the pod, we always
- 41:35Speaker 3: go we we haven't been in a minute because she
- 41:37Speaker 3: doesn't live here anymore, but we used to always go
- 41:39Speaker 3: to roll.
- 41:40Speaker 2: Away Oh in Chicago. Yeah wait, no, I'm sorry here,
- 41:44Speaker 2: and what am I talking about?
- 41:46Speaker 3: Yeah?
- 41:47Speaker 2: I used to go there all the time.
- 41:50Speaker 3: And there's always like there's like adult men that are
- 41:54Speaker 3: fucking awesome at skating and they kind of like straight
- 41:59Speaker 3: adult men that are good at skating. Freak me out.
- 42:02Speaker 3: There are like magicians are a little creepy. Yeah, like
- 42:05Speaker 3: they can backwards skate. They they're spinning in on the.
- 42:08Speaker 2: All right, let's not insult some of our listeners who
- 42:11Speaker 2: might be able to kill it on them well on
- 42:13Speaker 2: the rink.
- 42:14Speaker 3: I should say the ones at moonlight roll away. Oh,
- 42:18Speaker 3: they're always there.
- 42:18Speaker 2: I got a lot of moonlight listeners here.
- 42:23Speaker 3: There's like four of them. They're really good. And then
- 42:26Speaker 3: they also like skated eighty miles per hour during couple
- 42:31Speaker 3: skate and that's.
- 42:32Speaker 2: Not no, that's not right. Yes, you can't.
- 42:36Speaker 3: We took a left turn.
- 42:37Speaker 2: Sorry, we took a back skate is what we did.
- 42:42Speaker 2: So at Jasey's party there is no roller skating and
- 42:46Speaker 2: everyone meets ink, which, oh my god, do these ladies
- 42:51Speaker 2: love to make fun of this, gentleman? You know, these
- 42:55Speaker 2: ladies love to just I think on this in the
- 42:59Speaker 2: city of Potoma, they love to make fun of everyone
- 43:01Speaker 2: else's significant others if they're more like a boyfriend, not
- 43:06Speaker 2: necessarily someone's husband. But we still do get into that realm.
- 43:10Speaker 2: But in your right eye franchise, they do get roasted.
- 43:15Speaker 3: New relationship gets roasted.
- 43:18Speaker 2: Yeah, and I'm very much here for it. But I
- 43:22Speaker 2: did kind of feel a little bad though, I mean,
- 43:25Speaker 2: the short jokes just cap coming.
- 43:29Speaker 3: Well. Then also, Kieran's boyfriend was getting him too, Karen Kieran,
- 43:33Speaker 3: his boyfriend, the social worker. I can't I wrote it.
- 43:36Speaker 3: I have his name, Greg, oh Greg? Yeah, Oh, okay,
- 43:42Speaker 3: that's the social worker. Yeah, that is like, yeah, he's
- 43:45Speaker 3: very much a social worker, very much. So we see
- 43:48Speaker 3: that very much, so very much. And then they show
- 43:51Speaker 3: him and it's like buttoned up, little eyes on because
- 43:56Speaker 3: somebody in their interview was like, and then there's another
- 44:00Speaker 3: short one and they're talking about Gray.
- 44:02Speaker 2: Oh I think that was Jesse.
- 44:04Speaker 3: Yeah, I think it was.
- 44:05Speaker 2: Yeah, there's another short one. Oh my god, speaking of
- 44:10Speaker 2: his shirt, his eyes on shirt.
- 44:12Speaker 3: All the guys, I but yeah, I know, I wish
- 44:15Speaker 3: it was. But all the guys came in very chill.
- 44:19Speaker 3: I mean, Darius was dressed nice, and Ink was dressed nice,
- 44:23Speaker 3: but most of those guys, yeah, and him too. Most
- 44:26Speaker 3: of those guys looked like they were just hanging out
- 44:29Speaker 3: at a bar.
- 44:29Speaker 2: They look like seth last week on Salt Lake City
- 44:32Speaker 2: when he showed up in a brooks Mark's hat at
- 44:35Speaker 2: the anniversary of Bronwyn.
- 44:38Speaker 3: And uh Todd, Yeah, so's I didn't.
- 44:43Speaker 2: Pack anything because I'm leaving in like, you know, this
- 44:45Speaker 2: is twenty two hours, that's why. But yeah, everyone meets
- 44:50Speaker 2: Ink and then he doesn't have his signature of sunglasses
- 44:53Speaker 2: on and he's like, oh you know, yeah, that's my thing,
- 44:57Speaker 2: and then all of a sudden, we get right into
- 44:59Speaker 2: it with me and and they start talking about, you know,
- 45:02Speaker 2: clearing some stuff up, and Kieran is like, you know,
- 45:06Speaker 2: you said that my man was a drug dealer, which
- 45:08Speaker 2: was very disrespectful to him. And MIA's like, well, you
- 45:12Speaker 2: didn't deny it, you know, And and then we go
- 45:14Speaker 2: back and it's true. She didn't really deny it. She
- 45:16Speaker 2: was like, oh, like which one? And then Jizzy says, well,
- 45:21Speaker 2: but if you're talking about like that man over there,
- 45:25Speaker 2: the one that she's with, that's very detrimental if it's not,
- 45:28Speaker 2: if he's not, And MEA's like, no, no, I wasn't
- 45:31Speaker 2: talking about that one. The other one, the other one,
- 45:33Speaker 2: and and so she clarifies that, and then she's like, no,
- 45:36Speaker 2: that's he's a social work. We all know we could
- 45:38Speaker 2: tell it. Look, yeah, you know, and then she says
- 45:42Speaker 2: she's sorry. And I liked that they were able to
- 45:44Speaker 2: just be done with that at least for now.
- 45:47Speaker 3: That was good. Yeah, yeah, yeah, that was a solid
- 45:49Speaker 3: apology for Mea.
- 45:51Speaker 2: Yeah solid. Mea was really on top of it.
- 45:55Speaker 3: It's immediately segued into Karen though, right is that when
- 45:58Speaker 3: that happened.
- 45:59Speaker 2: Wendy and oh yeah, that's when this was Stacy's man,
- 46:04Speaker 2: Wendy and TJ. And then we get Darius and Prince
- 46:08Speaker 2: Tega arrive. Then we go into Karen and Mia and
- 46:12Speaker 2: then Mia says to says to Karen like, so Gizelle
- 46:16Speaker 2: told me that you're coming after me, and so what's
- 46:19Speaker 2: up with that? And Karen's like, well, I thought we
- 46:21Speaker 2: were friends, but you know you're saying, and she's like,
- 46:27Speaker 2: I didn't go to rehab. I didn't, and you know,
- 46:31Speaker 2: I overdoes. I was in the hospital.
- 46:32Speaker 3: And then it's also Giselle gathering them and moving them
- 46:36Speaker 3: to a table at an expert level. I thought, oh,
- 46:39Speaker 3: because they were fighting and they were talking in the open,
- 46:42Speaker 3: and Gizelle somehow got them to the side. Yes, yes,
- 46:45Speaker 3: that was pretty impressive. And I didn't quite understand why
- 46:49Speaker 3: she did that, but I was like, okay.
- 46:52Speaker 2: We got production reasons, you know, I think just kind
- 46:56Speaker 2: of get them sorted out and sitting. It was a
- 46:59Speaker 2: better shot. I think it was.
- 47:01Speaker 3: A better shot, but that sometimes feels less organic, but
- 47:07Speaker 3: it didn't feel that way. It just felt like Gizelle
- 47:09Speaker 3: really chose to do it, and that's what they did.
- 47:12Speaker 2: Yeah, she had it under control. It was so funny.
- 47:15Speaker 2: She really controlled that situation Gazelle so much that by
- 47:17Speaker 2: the end of it she was like, well, I think
- 47:19Speaker 2: we got somewhere. I mean I think you guys got somewhere.
- 47:22Speaker 2: Because she literally took total ownership. She's like, yeah, I
- 47:25Speaker 2: figured it out with I mean they figured it out.
- 47:29Speaker 3: Did you hear? Karen goes, I think she was, like
- 47:31Speaker 3: I do not. She's like, and you were in really horr.
- 47:34Speaker 2: Oh yeah she was because people were talking over each other,
- 47:39Speaker 2: so she couldn't say yeah. Actually, she goes, well, you
- 47:42Speaker 2: went to the hospital, so not too far fact for
- 47:44Speaker 2: me to think you were raw because talking over so
- 47:49Speaker 2: you know, you just like start saying the vowel that
- 47:51Speaker 2: you hear. And then Gizelle's like, but Karen, you were
- 47:56Speaker 2: being messy. And then of course we get the whole
- 48:00Speaker 2: moment that I absolutely love I was returning served and
- 48:04Speaker 2: then Me is like, I love you. I mean I'm not,
- 48:07Speaker 2: uh you know, I thought we were friends. Yes, we're friends.
- 48:10Speaker 2: And then Karen's like, well you're wrong. I'm gonna say
- 48:13Speaker 2: you're wrong and I was wrong and I was wrong
- 48:15Speaker 2: for row and I will go Lowgan, and then Karen
- 48:24Speaker 2: really doesn't give up because I didn't write it down,
- 48:25Speaker 2: but didn't She continue to say something like, well, that's
- 48:28Speaker 2: what you do. You go low. You go low, and
- 48:30Speaker 2: you mean and by well go low, you open up
- 48:32Speaker 2: men's buttons on there fly and you go down there,
- 48:35Speaker 2: because that's what you do. That's your drops, your career,
- 48:37Speaker 2: your prostitution. You're a stripper pro I'm like, whoa, Karen.
- 48:40Speaker 3: Yea, let you ride men. Yeah, yeah, I thought we
- 48:43Speaker 3: were apologizing here, But that's that's Karen that she'll say
- 48:48Speaker 3: she's done, and she is, yeah, yeah.
- 48:53Speaker 2: Yeah, there's still a few more left in the barrel.
- 48:56Speaker 2: I've got to get rid of you. Boom boom. I
- 48:59Speaker 2: was holding them.
- 49:00Speaker 3: And then we leave.
- 49:01Speaker 2: That was a nice party. Karen and her cousin David
- 49:06Speaker 2: all down.
- 49:07Speaker 3: That when he started to cry, yeah, lost it. I
- 49:11Speaker 3: just felt for him, like that means somebody real because
- 49:14Speaker 3: he cares so much about her, and we just I
- 49:18Speaker 3: don't know, we don't see someone caring that deeply for
- 49:20Speaker 3: Karen because we don't see I mean, I don't Gordon,
- 49:25Speaker 3: I don't know what you know. Ray, Ray, Sorry, I'm sorry.
- 49:29Speaker 2: Gordon sure doesn't care.
- 49:31Speaker 3: Actually, I think Gordon probably cares more.
- 49:34Speaker 2: He cared at the beginning. He used to flirt with Karen, but.
- 49:37Speaker 3: Like, Ray doesn't care. We don't see her daughter. I'm
- 49:39Speaker 3: sure you know her kids often, I'm sure. But to
- 49:43Speaker 3: see it like that, raw, I was like, oh, yeah,
- 49:47Speaker 3: this is real.
- 49:47Speaker 2: Well he heard the crash.
- 49:49Speaker 3: He was on the phone with her.
- 49:51Speaker 2: So that was shocking. I did not know that part
- 49:55Speaker 2: of it.
- 49:55Speaker 3: Did you get No, Actually, there was a lot of
- 49:58Speaker 3: this that if I I knew it, I forgot it.
- 50:02Speaker 3: When she's sitting there going through this does not by
- 50:05Speaker 3: the way, okay any of the.
- 50:07Speaker 2: I understand what you're saying. But we did get much information.
- 50:10Speaker 3: Huh, Like, have we ever had any of this validated
- 50:14Speaker 3: by Karen in terms of like the house and her
- 50:17Speaker 3: needing to free up cash and the taxes and all
- 50:20Speaker 3: that she had a little bit that do we have
- 50:23Speaker 3: this much?
- 50:25Speaker 2: It was definitely an overview of what I believe she
- 50:28Speaker 2: had talked about in the past. Yes, because I remember
- 50:30Speaker 2: she had to basically bail out Ray like she had
- 50:34Speaker 2: to do a liquid eight. I think everything that she had,
- 50:38Speaker 2: everything that she had made from housewives, was no longer
- 50:42Speaker 2: going to be something that she was going to be
- 50:44Speaker 2: able to do, you know, use that for for her
- 50:46Speaker 2: own fun. Okay, that went to saving him.
- 50:51Speaker 3: And yeah, so I didn't realize that we had confirmation
- 50:55Speaker 3: that she sold the house for money.
- 50:59Speaker 2: Situation you're saying, I see what you're saying.
- 51:01Speaker 3: Oh, right, because that was such a thing, that's right. Yeah,
- 51:05Speaker 3: And I'm sorry, Darling's if she did confirm that, I
- 51:09Speaker 3: just don't remember, because everybody was at her for that
- 51:12Speaker 3: and I just never I thought we just never got
- 51:15Speaker 3: I thought we got Hugert, you know, I thought we
- 51:17Speaker 3: got it. Yeah, No, Darling, I'm in a much better place.
- 51:20Speaker 2: It's we didn't get Hugert.
- 51:22Speaker 3: Yeah. So then in this episode when she said I
- 51:24Speaker 3: had to sell basically my dream home, I was like, oh,
- 51:29Speaker 3: I don't think she's ever fully admitted that.
- 51:31Speaker 2: Yeah, I know, I think you're right.
- 51:33Speaker 3: I don't know, maybe I'm wrong. Let me know.
- 51:35Speaker 2: I just figured that. I mean, I don't think she's
- 51:38Speaker 2: ever admitted it, but I knew on paper that's what happened. Like, yeah,
- 51:43Speaker 2: couldn't afford they had to sell their house to Yeah,
- 51:45Speaker 2: he owed a lot of money, and so for herself.
- 51:49Speaker 3: Yeah, they would all bring it up for years, for
- 51:54Speaker 3: like at least two seasons.
- 51:56Speaker 2: Yeah, She's like, I feel like I've been strong since
- 51:58Speaker 2: the taxes, and I was like, WHOA, I can't believe
- 52:00Speaker 2: you even said that. This was a huge moment for her.
- 52:04Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 52:04Speaker 2: Yeah, flashback to the press conference, that epic press conference
- 52:09Speaker 2: that she had, and then that she moved to Virginia
- 52:12Speaker 2: and that her parents could move in with her, but
- 52:14Speaker 2: then they never made it and that was never able
- 52:16Speaker 2: to happen. Her talking about dealing with the grief and
- 52:20Speaker 2: that that night is when she continues to say, it
- 52:23Speaker 2: all came to a head, and this is the first
- 52:26Speaker 2: time that I looked at that in a different way.
- 52:30Speaker 2: When she listed all the things that were happening, you know,
- 52:34Speaker 2: obviously the stress of her marriage and the finances and
- 52:38Speaker 2: losing her parents, I just kind of wondered if there
- 52:41Speaker 2: was something going on with her in a depressive type
- 52:45Speaker 2: of way where she felt extreme depression, which led to
- 52:51Speaker 2: her drinking that much and getting in the car and
- 52:53Speaker 2: not caring and maybe knowing that she shouldn't get in
- 52:55Speaker 2: the car and not caring because she just didn't care
- 52:58Speaker 2: about her own well being. And then after the crash,
- 53:01Speaker 2: it was a wake up call like, no, your life
- 53:04Speaker 2: is worth living. That's where I went with.
- 53:07Speaker 3: Well, the yeah, for sure that was a wake up call,
- 53:12Speaker 3: but I will put money on allegedly that was the
- 53:17Speaker 3: one thousandth time she'd gotten in the car that way,
- 53:21Speaker 3: you know, So it just happened that she caught a tree,
- 53:24Speaker 3: and now that was the wake up call. But like,
- 53:29Speaker 3: I don't think that just was a freak incident that
- 53:32Speaker 3: she just got wasted one night because she was sad.
- 53:35Speaker 3: Like I think that's kind of the story she was
- 53:37Speaker 3: trying to paint there, and it's like I get what
- 53:39Speaker 3: you have to do for the courts, and I get
- 53:41Speaker 3: that we're going to get the same story on TV
- 53:44Speaker 3: for consistency, But like I think the real story is, yeah,
- 53:48Speaker 3: she was probably depressed for a long time and self
- 53:52Speaker 3: medicating for a long time and this time she got caught.
- 53:57Speaker 2: That's where I was always landing. This time it was
- 54:00Speaker 2: more like I'm trying to say this delicately, like as
- 54:03Speaker 2: a trigger warning, trying to say this delicately that this time,
- 54:07Speaker 2: the way I heard it was I actually got in
- 54:10Speaker 2: the car intentionally, oh so as to not you know,
- 54:15Speaker 2: continue right, That's where that's what I'm saying.
- 54:18Speaker 3: So got it. Oh yeah, I don't know. I'd have
- 54:22Speaker 3: to like go back and I can see what you're saying,
- 54:25Speaker 3: like I can see hearing it that way. Yeah, I
- 54:28Speaker 3: don't know. So it's so interesting.
- 54:30Speaker 2: If that's what she's saying. I don't think that she
- 54:33Speaker 2: would ever want to say that out loud anymore, Like, Oh,
- 54:36Speaker 2: I see, she will like get into it in depth
- 54:39Speaker 2: because she has two kids, and if for two kids,
- 54:43Speaker 2: think that you know.
- 54:45Speaker 3: I mean, I don't have kids, But if I had
- 54:47Speaker 3: the kind of charges that she's facing in court, I
- 54:51Speaker 3: would be real clear about my mental state at that
- 54:54Speaker 3: night and where I was.
- 54:55Speaker 2: I see good point. But maybe it is a tricky
- 55:00Speaker 2: line to walk because you also don't want to completely
- 55:05Speaker 2: disrupt your child's life by having them think and be
- 55:10Speaker 2: so concerned for your well being. If in fact that's
- 55:13Speaker 2: what her truth is, you wouldn't want to upset them
- 55:15Speaker 2: and then they're they're at school constantly thinking about you,
- 55:18Speaker 2: worrying about you.
- 55:19Speaker 3: Oh, I don't think Karen cares about I think it's
- 55:23Speaker 3: more about Karen. Does Karen also court?
- 55:26Speaker 1: She?
- 55:27Speaker 3: I think like what we're seeing here too is like
- 55:30Speaker 3: Karen cannot be vulnerable, and this is as vulnerable as
- 55:35Speaker 3: we're gonna get And so that's why I think if
- 55:38Speaker 3: she was trying to say what you're saying, we're never
- 55:41Speaker 3: going to hear the fool scope of that, because can
- 55:43Speaker 3: you imagine that she's gonna have to like be vulnerable
- 55:45Speaker 3: to fucking Ashley.
- 55:46Speaker 2: Yeah, there's no way, you know what I mean.
- 55:48Speaker 3: Yeah, I think she likes Ashley. I think she likes Giselle.
- 55:52Speaker 3: But you see, even with David when he gets upset,
- 55:54Speaker 3: she's like, Okay, calm down now, no need for tears.
- 55:57Speaker 3: Like she does not want people caring about her in
- 56:01Speaker 3: that way. She does not want to be vulnerable.
- 56:03Speaker 2: I also think that if I'm going to go in
- 56:05Speaker 2: another direction with you know, assuming what her motive is
- 56:10Speaker 2: for laying this all out for us in this scene
- 56:13Speaker 2: with David, who cried, I could also see it from
- 56:17Speaker 2: another perspective, which is this looks really good for her
- 56:20Speaker 2: to have someone crying about her being that concerned. It
- 56:24Speaker 2: looks great on camera for making her look, you know,
- 56:28Speaker 2: like she's and was in trouble.
- 56:31Speaker 3: And I found an empathy that I didn't know I
- 56:34Speaker 3: would have. When she was saying that and David was crying,
- 56:37Speaker 3: I was like, I'm actually, for the first time seeing
- 56:40Speaker 3: through her the bullshit a little bit. Yeah in that
- 56:43Speaker 3: scene again, doesn't excuse it. I'm just saying, like for
- 56:47Speaker 3: her to be like, for what we've heard so far
- 56:49Speaker 3: was I was sad about my mom. I was when
- 56:53Speaker 3: who died years ago that night, and I like her
- 56:57Speaker 3: excuses so far, I've been like, come on, this was
- 57:00Speaker 3: the most we got and I was like open to it.
- 57:03Speaker 2: Yeah, absolutely, And she's like, well, stress is a silent killer,
- 57:08Speaker 2: more so than drinking and driving. You've heard that, right,
- 57:10Speaker 2: those are the statistics. Sorry, back to the old jokes, guys,
- 57:15Speaker 2: because that's what we do. And uh yeah, So like
- 57:21Speaker 2: so let's move on from that. Wow, what.
- 57:26Speaker 3: The hell?
- 57:29Speaker 2: What in you guys? This is like unchartered territory that
- 57:33Speaker 2: we're in right here, Mia at home with Ink and
- 57:37Speaker 2: Gordon kids in the other room. Are we thinking some
- 57:40Speaker 2: of our time sounded like that? And now we get
- 57:44Speaker 2: a real eye into.
- 57:45Speaker 3: Yeah, the kids heard every fucking second of that.
- 57:49Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, there's no question and they heard every second
- 57:52Speaker 2: of everything. And so when she says like, oh, the
- 57:54Speaker 2: littles don't even know that I'm in a relationship, Well,
- 57:57Speaker 2: what about the one that like walked in on you? Guys. Yeah,
- 58:00Speaker 2: you know, this is really really a sticky situation. And
- 58:04Speaker 2: I felt like Gordon was being definitely used in this situation,
- 58:09Speaker 2: definitely set up and expe bad for him. Yeah, and
- 58:14Speaker 2: I didn't like it. I don't like what they're doing
- 58:17Speaker 2: to him. They're almost like cornering him and then gaslighting him.
- 58:21Speaker 3: Yes, great point because me as fully hair and makeup,
- 58:26Speaker 3: she knew they were filming. Gordon comes down, He's like,
- 58:30Speaker 3: I'm just getting my iPad and then and then all
- 58:32Speaker 3: of a sudden they're going to have this conversation. Yeah,
- 58:35Speaker 3: and he's and she's like, we have to talk. I'm like,
- 58:39Speaker 3: oh my god.
- 58:39Speaker 2: Yeah, I mean we're gonna call parents. So, like, you know,
- 58:42Speaker 2: why can't we Gordon? You know, it's we need to
- 58:44Speaker 2: discuss boundaries, you know. It's like, how about the boundary
- 58:47Speaker 2: is that he said he doesn't want to film with
- 58:50Speaker 2: you and Ink on camera at the same time. How
- 58:52Speaker 2: about that? How about the fact that he's telling you
- 58:54Speaker 2: right now, how about the fact that he doesn't want
- 58:58Speaker 2: to do one single thing to promote relationship. He's not
- 59:01Speaker 2: okay with it. And when he looks at Ink, he
- 59:04Speaker 2: sees a man that had adultery with his wife shortly
- 59:07Speaker 2: after they got married and she got pregnant and had
- 59:11Speaker 2: immoral allegedly allegedly, and then continues to question if they
- 59:16Speaker 2: had two affairs during the time this like this went
- 59:20Speaker 2: left so fast.
- 59:22Speaker 3: Yeah, I don't know how Mia can spend this because
- 59:27Speaker 3: this is all on Mia, and even after Gordon's doing it,
- 59:31Speaker 3: Mia is like sticking to the script. Yeah, And I
- 59:36Speaker 3: felt bad for him then, and she he or she
- 59:39Speaker 3: has told everybody like, Gordon's so great, we're co parenting. Ink,
- 59:43Speaker 3: can I do his laundry? And I just did not
- 59:47Speaker 3: get that vibe. And I didn't get that vibe from
- 59:49Speaker 3: Ink either, did.
- 59:51Speaker 2: You No, I sure didn't. It was like he was trying.
- 59:55Speaker 2: It was almost like they were the kids and that
- 59:57Speaker 2: was their dad and like, dad, calm down, you're having
- 1:00:00Speaker 2: an episode.
- 1:00:02Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 1:00:03Speaker 2: It just was so strange. And then this whole thing
- 1:00:06Speaker 2: about the paternity of the child, because Ink thinks that
- 1:00:10Speaker 2: he's the father of one of their sons, so that's
- 1:00:13Speaker 2: hanging in the balance.
- 1:00:15Speaker 3: Yeah, well he's in the other room. It's it's yeah.
- 1:00:18Speaker 3: So it's like those kids are hearing all of this.
- 1:00:22Speaker 3: They clearly, they clearly are bringing I don't understand what
- 1:00:26Speaker 3: it makes me also not believe a lot of what
- 1:00:29Speaker 3: Mia has said, even though like we always kind of
- 1:00:33Speaker 3: like we love Mia because she's so honest and owns
- 1:00:35Speaker 3: her shit. But then it's like, okay, yeah, first of all,
- 1:00:38Speaker 3: your kids can hear this. We all know, and they've
- 1:00:40Speaker 3: also mentioned You've also told us that you think that
- 1:00:42Speaker 3: they know because the son has asked, so he doesn't
- 1:00:46Speaker 3: just think he's like your friend. And then also like
- 1:00:49Speaker 3: are you paying for everything with Gordon, because like maybe
- 1:00:52Speaker 3: you're not, Like maybe this, like you know what I mean,
- 1:00:56Speaker 3: Like this made me question a lot of things.
- 1:00:57Speaker 2: That actually makes me think that she is because then
- 1:01:00Speaker 2: she can she feels like he owes her, you know,
- 1:01:04Speaker 2: So the least you can do this is my job, Gordon.
- 1:01:07Speaker 2: So if you're not going to film, then you know
- 1:01:08Speaker 2: you need to leave and I won't pay for you,
- 1:01:10Speaker 2: but you have to film with me in ink and
- 1:01:12Speaker 2: we have to be on camera and that's just like
- 1:01:14Speaker 2: what you have to do if you want to like survive,
- 1:01:17Speaker 2: I mean, that's kind of And then the other aspect
- 1:01:20Speaker 2: of it is that she's also leveraging what he's done
- 1:01:24Speaker 2: to her in the past and using that card, which
- 1:01:28Speaker 2: is you put me through hell, which I don't. I'm
- 1:01:31Speaker 2: not arguing with that he did or did not do.
- 1:01:34Speaker 2: I believe her, but you put me through hell, and
- 1:01:37Speaker 2: so now it's payback time. Now you need to play
- 1:01:41Speaker 2: by my rules because what you put me through? Right, Yeah,
- 1:01:45Speaker 2: And if he does have some level of well, well
- 1:01:48Speaker 2: he said he was bipolar, so if he does have
- 1:01:51Speaker 2: some of these issues, it's really how do I want
- 1:01:56Speaker 2: to say this? Almost abusive to put someone as a
- 1:02:00Speaker 2: mental disabilitability and a position where you're trying to provoke
- 1:02:04Speaker 2: them in a way or position them in a way
- 1:02:08Speaker 2: to yeah, I don't.
- 1:02:11Speaker 3: It's tricky only because like that part is tricky with
- 1:02:17Speaker 3: that disease, because like Gordon could be signing off in
- 1:02:21Speaker 3: a conversation on something and then be like, what the no,
- 1:02:25Speaker 3: I don't I didn't say that or I didn't mean
- 1:02:27Speaker 3: it that way or whatever. Because I think also when
- 1:02:29Speaker 3: she's talking about her relationship with Ink and having an affair,
- 1:02:33Speaker 3: that was the time when that she says that Gordon
- 1:02:35Speaker 3: was really out there, and I think that Gordon had
- 1:02:38Speaker 3: told her that she could go find somebody else. Yes, yes,
- 1:02:44Speaker 3: just not Ink. Isn't that wasn't that the cat like that.
- 1:02:47Speaker 3: I remember him saying something like that, like he just
- 1:02:49Speaker 3: didn't want her to be with Ink, So I wonder.
- 1:02:52Speaker 3: I was like, is that what she's referring to when
- 1:02:54Speaker 3: she was like, you know what you put me through?
- 1:02:56Speaker 3: And you know what you said? I don't know, I
- 1:02:59Speaker 3: don't know.
- 1:02:59Speaker 2: Yeah, oh man, this is.
- 1:03:01Speaker 3: It was real. It was tough though, because when he's
- 1:03:05Speaker 3: like the especially like anytime like they're talking about the
- 1:03:08Speaker 3: cameras and we were going to do this on camera,
- 1:03:10Speaker 3: I'm like, yeah, what, I sit up?
- 1:03:13Speaker 2: I know. But I'm also like, Gordon, why are you
- 1:03:17Speaker 2: still talking? Why don't you just leave? Like if you
- 1:03:20Speaker 2: don't want to be on camera, then I.
- 1:03:22Speaker 3: Think I agree. I just think he's like I'm going
- 1:03:25Speaker 3: to oh, if you're going to do this to me,
- 1:03:27Speaker 3: I'm going to go nuclear. Here you go.
- 1:03:29Speaker 2: Yeah, which I did last season like the season finale.
