- 0:19Speaker 3: Oh god, what's wrong?
- 0:22Speaker 4: Those breakfast boys have just been on a holiday for
- 0:25Speaker 4: four days? And and Byron Bay and Byron Ba.
- 0:33Speaker 5: They do show this.
- 0:34Speaker 4: I get in the studio today and there's a ship
- 0:36Speaker 4: pile of miss everywhere. What just there were like four caps.
- 0:41Speaker 4: There was rubbish everywhere.
- 0:43Speaker 2: Some of them some of that was yours.
- 0:45Speaker 3: No, I know you don't.
- 0:48Speaker 4: Last night I did forget, but then I came back
- 0:51Speaker 4: in and grabbed it.
- 0:51Speaker 2: Because you were a single night.
- 0:54Speaker 4: You don't. That is fucking true. I swear to God,
- 0:59Speaker 4: it's a point of doing it.
- 1:02Speaker 3: You forget, I don't want to.
- 1:04Speaker 5: Could you not eat while we're doing this?
- 1:06Speaker 2: I don't want to.
- 1:07Speaker 3: I don't want to have to start pointing it out
- 1:08Speaker 3: when when it happens.
- 1:10Speaker 4: Last night, I do have met. I did forget my
- 1:12Speaker 4: my glass and my headphones. I was in a daze,
- 1:15Speaker 4: but they came back in and got both.
- 1:16Speaker 3: I think it's fine for everyone to occasionally forget stuff,
- 1:19Speaker 3: as long as we don't go on and bag them
- 1:22Speaker 3: because then it's like, well, actually.
- 1:23Speaker 4: I don't leave four caps and very serious, fir, I'm fuman,
- 1:29Speaker 4: especially after they've just had a four day holiday.
- 1:33Speaker 3: Well it's not actually a holiday. They were over there
- 1:35Speaker 3: with listeners, you know, working work in the social.
- 1:38Speaker 4: Look exhausting, totally actually beautiful beach.
- 1:44Speaker 3: I don't want to be on team Brickey here, and
- 1:45Speaker 3: I don't want to do that thing where that my
- 1:47Speaker 3: missus does that I mentioned the other day where they
- 1:49Speaker 3: instantly take the other person's side. But you're going to,
- 1:52Speaker 3: but I'm going to because we went to Fiji and
- 1:57Speaker 3: got on the person played golf, yes, and then came
- 1:59Speaker 3: in left cups what you did.
- 2:02Speaker 2: I don't want to be every day I come in.
- 2:04Speaker 2: This is what I get.
- 2:05Speaker 6: There's a glass and there's one here over there, glass
- 2:08Speaker 6: over there, and there's this water bottle.
- 2:10Speaker 2: I also don't pegs, so what do I care?
- 2:13Speaker 3: Yeah, look, you're covered in chip crumbs.
- 2:15Speaker 6: No, but they're pegs. It's because I will leave and
- 2:18Speaker 6: I will take my stuff with me, unlike Jason will
- 2:20Speaker 6: say he'll do it, he'll leave it. But yeah, they
- 2:24Speaker 6: are messy, they always happy.
- 2:25Speaker 3: What do we do about it?
- 2:26Speaker 2: Nothing. I don't care.
- 2:27Speaker 3: Should we challenge them to a relay?
- 2:30Speaker 5: Yeah? Good stuff? How's your day been?
- 2:32Speaker 2: Feels great?
- 2:34Speaker 3: I did this really funny thing where the the fabric
- 2:38Speaker 3: and my hoodlining inside my car on the roof starting
- 2:41Speaker 3: to hang down a bit. I do hate it, and
- 2:43Speaker 3: so I was like, okay, cool, I've never replaced the
- 2:45Speaker 3: fabric before or fixed it.
- 2:46Speaker 2: I'm going to learn how to do it. That seems
- 2:48Speaker 2: like it'll be a real niggly bastard.
- 2:50Speaker 3: Yeah, you'd think so, but you take there it is.
- 2:54Speaker 3: You take the center light out of the center of
- 2:56Speaker 3: the roof, you take the light at the front out,
- 2:58Speaker 3: you take the bloody fold down. What are they called
- 3:02Speaker 3: the sunshade, Yeah, it's advisors. Take them out, take the
- 3:07Speaker 3: clips out, unclip all the thing, pull all the rubber down.
- 3:10Speaker 3: It took me about twenty minutes to do that, pull
- 3:12Speaker 3: the headlining out, get it out through the passenger door,
- 3:15Speaker 3: and then get sidetracked and then go to go to
- 3:17Speaker 3: work and realize your car is in pieces, and then
- 3:20Speaker 3: be like to my wife who is working from home, Hey,
- 3:21Speaker 3: you're not going anywhere, are you? Because I need to
- 3:24Speaker 3: take your car? Yeah, And then she's like, well, can
- 3:26Speaker 3: I use your car because I might have to go
- 3:27Speaker 3: somewhere later. And I was like, yeah, you can. It's
- 3:28Speaker 3: going to be fucking ugly though, because it's just Birt's
- 3:30Speaker 3: hanging off it.
- 3:31Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 3:32Speaker 3: And so now I'm in her car and my car
- 3:33Speaker 3: is pretty much unusable.
- 3:34Speaker 2: How do you make it nice and tight?
- 3:37Speaker 6: Ah?
- 3:37Speaker 3: Well, that's going to be the interesting thing.
- 3:38Speaker 2: Because razor blade just cut it all off, or.
- 3:42Speaker 3: Just cut it off. It's glued and they're pretty hearty
- 3:45Speaker 3: and wrapped around. So I'm going to have to pull
- 3:47Speaker 3: it off a burt from the edge, spray a really
- 3:49Speaker 3: thin layer of adhesive, and then push it all back on,
- 3:53Speaker 3: but not too much because otherwise it'll soak through and you'll.
- 3:54Speaker 2: See the only thing that keeps it on.
- 3:57Speaker 3: Gluey, just glue, yeah in this case hmm, and then
- 4:00Speaker 3: put it back on again.
- 4:01Speaker 2: There you go, Jos.
- 4:03Speaker 3: Fascinating but also come on, man, but also, my car's
- 4:06Speaker 3: a heap of shit anyway, So it doesn't matter which
- 4:08Speaker 3: one is that.
- 4:09Speaker 2: What do you got, Mahonda, Mahonda.
- 4:11Speaker 5: It's an all right car.
- 4:12Speaker 3: It's a nice car, but I'd rather give a heap
- 4:15Speaker 3: of ship have a crowd. Well, there's people would think
- 4:17Speaker 3: it's a heap of ship, right, it's not a teeter.
- 4:19Speaker 4: Speaking of cars, I got a message from my mechanic
- 4:22Speaker 4: today saying you're what you feeler which mechanic, but it's
- 4:26Speaker 4: out in glen Eden. So I was like, oh no,
- 4:28Speaker 4: I'm not going up to glen Eden, which again, so
- 4:31Speaker 4: I need to find one in the can.
- 4:33Speaker 2: I can tell you one that's very good.
- 4:34Speaker 3: Oh good, didn't it burn down?
- 4:36Speaker 5: No?
- 4:37Speaker 2: Different one? Don't get my warrants from there?
- 4:39Speaker 3: Is it the same mechanic?
- 4:41Speaker 4: Yes, but but I haven't been back to him anyway.
- 4:44Speaker 2: What are we going to tell you about that.
- 4:48Speaker 5: Soon?
- 4:48Speaker 3: So surely we can talk about that on the podcast
- 4:50Speaker 3: here it doesn't matter.
- 4:51Speaker 5: But yeah, so I need to find a city mechanic.
- 4:54Speaker 2: I can just tell you AA on Hobson's Street. Nice.
- 4:57Speaker 5: They're great, sweet done.
- 4:59Speaker 3: So the good thing about obviously mechanics listening if you're
- 5:02Speaker 3: a good mechanic, awesome. But the good thing about an
- 5:05Speaker 3: A or like a VTNZ is they just tell you
- 5:06Speaker 3: what's wrong with it? Yes, does A fix it for you?
- 5:09Speaker 2: As they do?
- 5:12Speaker 6: It's bloody good, very reasonable, very very fast, colms, very good, colms.
- 5:17Speaker 4: I what a feeling I need a bit of work done,
- 5:19Speaker 4: but a little plastic flappy bit under the hoods flapping down.
- 5:24Speaker 3: I can fix that.
- 5:25Speaker 5: You can't.
- 5:25Speaker 4: It's pretty shattered that there's nothing to sort of stick
- 5:29Speaker 4: it is. It doesn't click in anymore.
- 5:31Speaker 3: That's okay, because it snapped use cable ties.
- 5:34Speaker 5: Oh, that's true.
- 5:36Speaker 4: Cable Someone used a cable tie on it for me
- 5:38Speaker 4: and it didn't work.
- 5:39Speaker 5: It snapped off again.
- 5:41Speaker 3: Geez, what happened to it? The hoodlining?
- 5:43Speaker 4: Sorry, that was actually the mechanic we're talking about. Really,
- 5:47Speaker 4: it came down. I don't you know, the plastic cover
- 5:49Speaker 4: that covers the engine or something.
- 5:51Speaker 2: It came down.
- 5:52Speaker 4: So I went down to him and said, well, this
- 5:55Speaker 4: has come loose and I can't fix it up again.
- 5:58Speaker 4: And he said all right, and he honed into his
- 6:01Speaker 4: way into his workshop and just smashed the shit out
- 6:05Speaker 4: of it like there was a little lege and he
- 6:07Speaker 4: just smashed right over and it just wrapped off.
- 6:10Speaker 3: So is this under the car? Under the car?
- 6:12Speaker 2: Yeah? And I was like, what the fuck? Man, what
- 6:16Speaker 2: what did you say?
- 6:18Speaker 5: I said, what the fuck? He said, oh, I know, well,
- 6:21Speaker 5: I'll have to.
- 6:21Speaker 3: Fact and we please talk about this guy. And it
- 6:24Speaker 3: was like he sucks.
- 6:25Speaker 2: What were you with this guy for well, here's the thing.
- 6:29Speaker 2: Twenty years.
- 6:31Speaker 4: Yeah, about fifteen actually no, but wait but wait, I'll
- 6:35Speaker 4: explain it. My wife's family has been with this guy
- 6:38Speaker 4: for about thirty years, but he's not the one running
- 6:41Speaker 4: it anymore. So it was initially this guy, and then
- 6:44Speaker 4: there was another guy who was awesome, and then this
- 6:46Speaker 4: other guy in the last sort of four or five
- 6:48Speaker 4: years took over the business. So it's a completely different
- 6:52Speaker 4: guy from who he started with. So four or five years, yeah,
- 6:55Speaker 4: but with this punk, but he hadn't again, he hadn't
- 6:59Speaker 4: done anything to that point.
- 7:02Speaker 5: It's actually not true.
- 7:04Speaker 4: God, he won't rules he once did. He said I
- 7:09Speaker 4: will need to do work on the car. That's two grand,
- 7:12Speaker 4: and I went okay. And then he did work on
- 7:15Speaker 4: it and it costs three grand, and I was.
- 7:18Speaker 2: Like, did he call you? No, he didn't tell me I.
- 7:21Speaker 3: Did, asshole, asshole for just charging an extra grand.
- 7:26Speaker 5: Yeah, I should have, but you know, I'm a soft car.
- 7:28Speaker 3: But I'm surely we can talk about this guy now.
- 7:31Speaker 2: No, no one cares.
- 7:33Speaker 5: He knows the business, No, because he's a lovely guy.
- 7:39Speaker 2: It's a shocking cars still been from you.
- 7:43Speaker 3: The whole archy Big Show week days from.
- 7:45Speaker 2: Four on Radio Hurarchy. They Big Show Podcast. Yees.
- 7:51Speaker 4: So car Chat's good stuff. You know what I've discovered today.
- 7:55Speaker 4: I've eaten a lot today, Fellows, which has been great.
- 7:58Speaker 4: I've decided I've got to eat more fur.
- 8:00Speaker 3: You've see this.
- 8:01Speaker 2: I know we're attacking. Why do you have to eat
- 8:04Speaker 2: more food? This has come from Kezy.
- 8:05Speaker 6: You've been perfectly happy until Keesy started banging on that
- 8:08Speaker 6: you needed to start eat more food. That's where it
- 8:10Speaker 6: came from, Keezy. And you're perfectly happy with your life
- 8:13Speaker 6: and who you were a person. And now you are
- 8:15Speaker 6: obsessed with eating more.
- 8:17Speaker 4: Why well, I think because I'm burning more stuff at
- 8:20Speaker 4: the moment because I'm doing so much more exercise, and
- 8:23Speaker 4: I am naturally eating more.
- 8:25Speaker 5: But what I've discovered is metabolism, Fellers.
- 8:29Speaker 4: Every time I eat a significant amount of food, I'm
- 8:32Speaker 4: massively fatigued immediately.
- 8:35Speaker 5: You guys like that.
- 8:36Speaker 2: It depends what you're eating. If you're eating carbohydrates, you'll
- 8:38Speaker 2: have a problem.
- 8:39Speaker 6: But if you're eating proteins ahead a more and salad,
- 8:43Speaker 6: you'll be fine.
- 8:45Speaker 2: Smaller portions throughout the day, smaller portions more often.
- 8:49Speaker 5: Yeah, not a set of kezy twenty dumplings and Friday.
- 8:52Speaker 6: That's when you're absolutely you get the itis and you've
- 8:55Speaker 6: got to go to sleep.
- 8:55Speaker 2: You know, you gotta have a MOI.
- 8:56Speaker 5: You're good?
- 8:57Speaker 1: Yeah, good?
- 8:58Speaker 4: Yeah, well, I'll talk about it on the hat of Shaka.
- 9:04Speaker 4: Last night it was one of the worst meals I've
- 9:07Speaker 4: had in a long time. Fucking wed well, actually, we
- 9:15Speaker 4: were talking about it last Our last three have been disappointing.
- 9:18Speaker 5: They've been disappointing. It's like, oh, this isn't very good.
- 9:21Speaker 2: Are you paying how much of these these these dyning they're.
- 9:25Speaker 5: Not flash places. Yeah, thirty you know we'll end up
- 9:29Speaker 5: paying thirty.
- 9:29Speaker 4: Bucks for the meal between two of us.
- 9:32Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 9:33Speaker 4: So, but the last three have been disappointing. And I
- 9:36Speaker 4: know these good food places in town.
- 9:38Speaker 3: Are you looking at ratings?
- 9:40Speaker 2: Yes?
- 9:41Speaker 3: Yeah, okay yeah.
- 9:42Speaker 4: And this place last night tricked us because it was
- 9:44Speaker 4: really full and it was a kind of southern Chinese
- 9:48Speaker 4: sort of place, and we went, oh, this looks quite
- 9:50Speaker 4: interesting but not good.
- 9:52Speaker 3: What did you order?
- 9:54Speaker 4: I ended up the first three things I tried to
- 9:57Speaker 4: order they didn't have anymore.
- 9:59Speaker 2: You need just start doing a Jesse Mulligan review system.
- 10:02Speaker 2: Oh yeah, I do review everything, do you. Yeah, I've
- 10:05Speaker 2: got a little notebook.
- 10:07Speaker 4: Seriously great game and on Instagram and I ended up
- 10:12Speaker 4: doing this sort of panic purchase one am as to
- 10:14Speaker 4: talking about it now.
- 10:15Speaker 2: And I got chicken skewers.
- 10:18Speaker 3: Hard to fuck that up though, chicken skills a yummy.
- 10:20Speaker 4: With like flatbread and I mean, okay, that'll do. And
- 10:24Speaker 4: my wife got this sort of really spicy lamb dish.
- 10:30Speaker 5: With wide thick noodles, oh yuh.
- 10:33Speaker 4: And it was just infiltrated with chilies, I mean like
- 10:37Speaker 4: old chilies. Oh god, and the lamb was really tough
- 10:41Speaker 4: in chili.
- 10:42Speaker 2: Really associate chilies with lamb. No, and you and all Chinese.
- 10:47Speaker 3: Spicy spicy lamb noodles. I've had that before from one
- 10:49Speaker 3: of my favorite noodle places, yes, I think being being noodles.
- 10:52Speaker 3: It's called It's on Queen Street. And the spicy lamb
- 10:55Speaker 3: goes hard. Yeah, so it was bad. That sucks.
- 10:58Speaker 4: And it was one of those places is where the
- 11:01Speaker 4: servings were massive and you just go and it's like,
- 11:05Speaker 4: just because you're serving a massive plate of food doesn't
- 11:08Speaker 4: mean it's good. And it was terrible, and my skewers
- 11:12Speaker 4: were as dry as fuck. I literally like I could
- 11:17Speaker 4: barely eat them, they were so dry.
- 11:20Speaker 3: I love the thing you do where you just panic
- 11:22Speaker 3: order and then you go, what the fuck over a
- 11:26Speaker 3: flat bread?
- 11:28Speaker 2: So well, why don't you just not all that?
- 11:29Speaker 4: But the entrant well, because the three things they wanted
- 11:32Speaker 4: beforehand weren't there. But as I was leaving, because it
- 11:37Speaker 4: was quite full, all the people that were there were
- 11:39Speaker 4: there before us, and I took a look around as
- 11:42Speaker 4: I was leaving the restaurant, and no one had really
- 11:45Speaker 4: eaten their meals, like there was just food lift over
- 11:49Speaker 4: and everything looked massively overcooked, like.
- 11:53Speaker 3: Dry as fast, so you reckon. Everyone had had a
- 11:55Speaker 3: bad experience.
- 11:56Speaker 5: I think, so, yes, But then I go down it
- 11:59Speaker 5: is like, how was it?
- 12:00Speaker 3: And I go, fine, really great, fine, torow.
- 12:04Speaker 4: I've got to stop doing that. I've got to start
- 12:06Speaker 4: going No, I didn't enjoy it.
- 12:07Speaker 2: Actually I was a business owner. I want to know.
- 12:11Speaker 4: Yeah, maybe the chicken was really dry and the lamb
- 12:17Speaker 4: was really tough, so not great, mate.
- 12:20Speaker 2: Yeah, I be coming back put it that.
- 12:21Speaker 5: Way, Yeah, exactly.
- 12:23Speaker 3: I can't imagine you're saying that.
- 12:24Speaker 2: Neither can I.
- 12:26Speaker 3: It's idea, though, it's a great idea because I'm the
- 12:29Speaker 3: same I'll just go yeah, it was great, and then
- 12:31Speaker 3: just in my head and to my wife and say
- 12:32Speaker 3: we're never coming here.
- 12:33Speaker 2: That's the path of Lisa resistance. I've had. I've had
- 12:36Speaker 2: girlfriends and friends that I'm breaking up with you. Is
- 12:41Speaker 2: it all good?
- 12:41Speaker 6: Yeah?
- 12:42Speaker 2: No, you're great.
- 12:43Speaker 1: No.
- 12:43Speaker 2: I mean that have been like, no, this is terrible.
- 12:47Speaker 4: Yeah, and like to the Karen to their face, a
- 12:51Speaker 4: little bit of that's great.
- 12:52Speaker 3: But they're full on that.
- 12:54Speaker 5: I didn't say.
- 12:57Speaker 6: It's fine. Yes, if you've just been county, I mean
- 13:00Speaker 6: about it, jeez all. They actually the agenda is constantly
- 13:04Speaker 6: dropping its seat.
- 13:05Speaker 3: We don't want to stick to the A c CS
- 13:07Speaker 3: level that cans Hey listen to The Big Show four
- 13:11Speaker 3: or seven weekdays radio heard Ki
