- 0:26Speaker 3: Yeah, it should, I do what man?
- 0:30Speaker 4: Okay, you want to I was in Wellington, I was
- 0:34Speaker 4: I must have been eighteen, going to Polytech their higher learning.
- 0:38Speaker 5: Fellasay, that's what we said to do it school. I
- 0:44Speaker 5: wanted to take.
- 0:45Speaker 4: Pick It's about right to be fair, honestly, I honestly
- 0:48Speaker 4: a complete fucking waste of time.
- 0:50Speaker 2: It was very much a stepping stone to fuck it.
- 0:54Speaker 3: It was a stone to twenty two thousand dollars worth
- 0:57Speaker 3: a det well.
- 0:57Speaker 2: I'm doing tack right now.
- 0:59Speaker 3: Oh yeah, that's different, thought it. That's different. Yeah.
- 1:01Speaker 2: But I want to see Jase disst so I can
- 1:03Speaker 2: clip this off and then send it into like to
- 1:04Speaker 2: cut it. But carry on.
- 1:07Speaker 4: And me and my mate went down in Wellington, Wellington
- 1:10Speaker 4: there and we got on the paperwork. Beautiful day and
- 1:13Speaker 4: Wellington and paperwork Jason's l s D. But I don't
- 1:20Speaker 4: want anybody to know what it was. Sure, And can
- 1:23Speaker 4: I just say I don't recommend anybody takes drugs and
- 1:27Speaker 4: this is also not a true story. Sure, And a
- 1:32Speaker 4: beautiful's day in Wellington and we sort of me and
- 1:34Speaker 4: my mate went to dockside, one of the bars down there.
- 1:37Speaker 4: One of the symptoms of drug drug taking that didn't happen.
- 1:44Speaker 4: Everything's very funny, very funny, but we're having a lovely time,
- 1:48Speaker 4: especially on a sunny day. There's something about it where
- 1:51Speaker 4: the colors are brighter. Yes, the world just comes alive.
- 1:57Speaker 4: It's pretty special. Not that I recommend doing it.
- 1:59Speaker 2: As it likes one's because I haven't done it and
- 2:01Speaker 2: I never will.
- 2:02Speaker 3: Mike.
- 2:02Speaker 2: No, of course, is it like someone's turned the contrast
- 2:04Speaker 2: and the saturation right up on a TV or something.
- 2:08Speaker 4: It sort of very very for a moment, from paperwork
- 2:12Speaker 4: to paperwork. Yes, And anyway, we went into what's that
- 2:18Speaker 4: Civic square? Civic Square next to the Wellington Town Hall.
- 2:23Speaker 4: Beautiful day. It was, yes, people everywhere. We came up
- 2:26Speaker 4: a set of stairs and we rounded a corner and
- 2:30Speaker 4: there was about fifteen young woman in school uniform. They
- 2:38Speaker 4: would have been about our age. I was aden, but
- 2:40Speaker 4: they were in school uniform sort of draped all over
- 2:43Speaker 4: these stairs in various It was the weirdest thing to
- 2:47Speaker 4: happen upon and one of the most.
- 2:51Speaker 1: It was.
- 2:52Speaker 4: And I was of the age I wasn't forty seven,
- 2:54Speaker 4: which I am now that would be wrong, yes, but
- 2:56Speaker 4: at that stage you're a holy shit. I've still got
- 2:59Speaker 4: that as a snapshot, and it was it was like
- 3:02Speaker 4: someone was playing a trick on us.
- 3:04Speaker 2: Wow, because it's like you've almost come to like this
- 3:06Speaker 2: amazing private garden area.
- 3:08Speaker 4: It was like a fairy tale. It was really used
- 3:10Speaker 4: to be really quite a great place in that civic square.
- 3:13Speaker 4: And particularly that that moment is eached my mind. But
- 3:16Speaker 4: that reminded me of just just what Jason is looking
- 3:19Speaker 4: at it out there and what ended up happening. Were
- 3:21Speaker 4: you guys too off your face too?
- 3:22Speaker 3: We weren't going anywhere near it. You were just like.
- 3:26Speaker 4: From our point of view, it's a magical moment. From
- 3:29Speaker 4: their point of view, there's two dron goes with your
- 3:31Speaker 4: jaws on the floor and their eyes bulging out of
- 3:34Speaker 4: the fucking head that won't go away.
- 3:36Speaker 3: But no, we were shaves on. That's probably a bit.
- 3:46Speaker 5: We were funnily enough, Margie talking about that sort of
- 3:50Speaker 5: stuff before you came into who was about taking certain things.
- 3:55Speaker 3: That's right, like paperwork and stuff like that.
- 3:57Speaker 2: Right, Yeah, And I was saying, I've never take paperwork
- 4:00Speaker 2: and have no desire to.
- 4:02Speaker 5: I have taken paperwork, and can I say that I've
- 4:06Speaker 5: had tremendously good times, yes, responsibly, responsibly and tremendously bad times.
- 4:14Speaker 4: I've never done it, but if I had, I would
- 4:16Speaker 4: never ever have had a bad experience.
- 4:18Speaker 3: Can I just repeat what I just said?
- 4:20Speaker 5: If I ever did take it, I imagine I would
- 4:23Speaker 5: have had her head tremendously in other times and tremendously
- 4:29Speaker 5: bad times.
- 4:30Speaker 2: It's hypothetically speaking in the past and another life, Jase,
- 4:34Speaker 2: if you had taken it and then gone out into
- 4:37Speaker 2: a field, was it that one that was a bad situation?
- 4:41Speaker 5: Hypothetically speaking hypothetically, if I had taken it, I could
- 4:46Speaker 5: see myself on many occasions going to a field or
- 4:49Speaker 5: bush or the ocean.
- 4:53Speaker 2: Dangerous swimming.
- 4:56Speaker 5: No, No, that was say I would maybe go out
- 5:02Speaker 5: west somewhere.
- 5:02Speaker 3: Wanting to tree a tree or bush, just one tree.
- 5:07Speaker 4: Man.
- 5:08Speaker 3: You just look at it, look at it. You're just
- 5:11Speaker 3: look at it.
- 5:12Speaker 5: You look at it, and the sound, the sound and vision.
- 5:14Speaker 5: Everything is heightened and even if you don't have a
- 5:17Speaker 5: tree mug, you just look at the sky.
- 5:20Speaker 2: The whole Racky Big Show week days from four on
- 5:23Speaker 2: Radio Hurarchy. The Big Show podcast.
- 5:27Speaker 5: Is this way.
- 5:28Speaker 2: Like pink Floyd, for example, was so massive because you
- 5:31Speaker 2: could be doing some paperwork listening to pink Floyd, you know,
- 5:37Speaker 2: at the dark side.
- 5:37Speaker 3: Of the Moon.
- 5:38Speaker 2: I prefer nature to pink us, But I do you
- 5:42Speaker 2: think that was the drug that made them?
- 5:43Speaker 4: So you know, people exactly the doors as well, and yeah, THROUGHO.
- 5:52Speaker 2: It sounds terrible. I don't want to do it that
- 5:54Speaker 2: I you wouldn't like it. We should definitely not do
- 5:57Speaker 2: it at some stage.
- 5:59Speaker 5: Speaking of you nature of the music in that scenario,
- 6:04Speaker 5: I was with a group of mates in that scenario
- 6:08Speaker 5: and they were hypothetically speaking, and they got on a
- 6:12Speaker 5: real cartoon watching buzz.
- 6:14Speaker 3: Right, and that just they would freak you out. That
- 6:17Speaker 3: was not good for me.
- 6:19Speaker 5: And I was watching cartoons for about fifteen minutes and
- 6:23Speaker 5: they were in hysterics and just going off and I
- 6:27Speaker 5: had to leave because it was just too much for me.
- 6:29Speaker 5: And I had to go. And we had a beautiful
- 6:30Speaker 5: little garden, so I wouldn't sat in the garden.
- 6:33Speaker 3: That was much better.
- 6:34Speaker 4: I haven't had a recent experience at all where I
- 6:39Speaker 4: was on mushrooms. I haven't and a similar sort of
- 6:42Speaker 4: thing was going on. Something was on YouTube or something
- 6:45Speaker 4: like that.
- 6:45Speaker 3: Ayah.
- 6:45Speaker 4: One of the people I was just said, should we
- 6:47Speaker 4: just turn this off and go outside? And that was
- 6:50Speaker 4: the best decision that was never made because it didn't happen.
- 6:54Speaker 3: Yeah, it is so confusing. You just get drawn into
- 6:58Speaker 3: stuff back then, am I watching this?
- 7:01Speaker 2: It was the cart If you watch something like ren
- 7:02Speaker 2: and stimpy or something that's so like absurd and out
- 7:06Speaker 2: there that would freaky them.
- 7:07Speaker 5: Yeah.
- 7:08Speaker 4: I mean, if you're aware that it's that, it's nobody's
- 7:13Speaker 4: thinking that fact will has taken me over all, you know,
- 7:16Speaker 4: or anything. I never know, you never you're very aware
- 7:19Speaker 4: of what's going on and the reason why you're feeling
- 7:21Speaker 4: the way that you are. You don't forget that, right.
- 7:23Speaker 4: What's funny about all of that stuff is what never
- 7:25Speaker 4: comes into people's consciousness when they're deciding about those sorts
- 7:30Speaker 4: of things. I don't think the reason why people don't
- 7:32Speaker 4: do that is because you think, ah nah, it's illegal.
- 7:38Speaker 3: Do you know what I mean?
- 7:38Speaker 2: Yes, it doesn't come into I don't think.
- 7:41Speaker 4: I don't think there might be somebody in the world
- 7:44Speaker 4: where that has been the thing that has stopped them
- 7:46Speaker 4: from doing it. But I think people would more be like,
- 7:49Speaker 4: oh no, I don't like the sound of it. I'm
- 7:50Speaker 4: a bit scared of. But certainly I don't think the
- 7:53Speaker 4: thing is oh fuck, I'd love to men.
- 7:56Speaker 3: But it's illegal. Yeah yeah, that never Yeah, but that's
- 8:00Speaker 3: meant to be the deterrent.
- 8:02Speaker 2: When you're a kid, being told it's illegal is what
- 8:04Speaker 2: then turns into fear later on in life. From my
- 8:07Speaker 2: experience with some of my friends who haven't done it ever,
- 8:12Speaker 2: genuinely have not done it, they were told it was
- 8:15Speaker 2: so bad when they were kids, and it's illegal and
- 8:17Speaker 2: you should never do it. That now it is like
- 8:18Speaker 2: a terrifying thing.
- 8:20Speaker 4: Right yeah, okay, So but is it because it was
- 8:22Speaker 4: so bad or because it was they used to tell
- 8:24Speaker 4: you it was fucking bad? Your brain up, Yeah, that
- 8:28Speaker 4: would sk you. But whether something is illegal or not,
- 8:32Speaker 4: I don't think that he has a big all that.
- 8:33Speaker 2: But to play, all that does is prohibit your ability
- 8:36Speaker 2: to get it, to.
- 8:38Speaker 4: Get something that's not probably like being tainted with something else, right, yeah,
- 8:43Speaker 4: so that's what makes it tough. Yeah, it's funny, isn't.
- 8:46Speaker 4: It's meant to be. That's meant to be the deterrent.
- 8:48Speaker 4: And you know, I've never heard anybody of that conversation.
- 8:51Speaker 5: If I was to contemplate doing something like that, I wouldn't. Yeah,
- 8:59Speaker 5: And I know of people that have done it, many
- 9:01Speaker 5: people quite close to me.
- 9:03Speaker 3: Yeah, very close.
- 9:05Speaker 5: And I can tell you that illegality was not an issue.
- 9:10Speaker 3: You know, what you shouldn't do, you shouldn't.
- 9:12Speaker 2: I would hate this, take all of us to the badge,
- 9:16Speaker 2: you know, because I would hate that.
- 9:18Speaker 5: What you what you don't want to do, I've heard
- 9:23Speaker 5: from like a best made of mine, is take some
- 9:26Speaker 5: paperwork and then get thoughts in your head like how
- 9:31Speaker 5: do I breathe?
- 9:33Speaker 3: Which is the sort of.
- 9:34Speaker 5: Thing that my head would do, and then you go
- 9:37Speaker 5: on an interior spiral of oh my god, how am
- 9:40Speaker 5: I breathing?
- 9:42Speaker 3: That's not a good thing.
- 9:43Speaker 5: And another thing you don't want to do, because another
- 9:46Speaker 5: really good friend of mine did it while he was
- 9:47Speaker 5: taking paperwork, was look in the mirror and he turned
- 9:54Speaker 5: into satan.
- 9:55Speaker 3: Right, Well, that's pretty cool.
- 9:57Speaker 5: I'm talking with like horns up to the roof talents, talents,
- 10:04Speaker 5: talents are on and his face split apart in doubled
- 10:07Speaker 5: in size. That happened to a maid of mine.
- 10:11Speaker 3: You got your mate, well he got his money's with Yeah,
- 10:14Speaker 3: she was.
- 10:15Speaker 5: A He said it was a particularly potent brew that
- 10:17Speaker 5: lasted about twelve hours.
- 10:20Speaker 2: As your mate now like really nervous and anxious around
- 10:23Speaker 2: at the thought of doing it.
- 10:24Speaker 5: He does have anxiety attacks.
- 10:28Speaker 3: This yeah far out. Well, there you go.
- 10:30Speaker 2: I hope I don't meet him. He sounds like a
- 10:31Speaker 2: bit of a handful.
- 10:34Speaker 3: Jesus.
- 10:35Speaker 2: Hey see how purposely the douche for ages because he
- 10:44Speaker 2: knew I was right in the middle of trying to
- 10:46Speaker 2: say some Edmund. Sure, he just held it there as
- 10:48Speaker 2: long as he could. Hey, how does you make show
- 10:54Speaker 2: fortal seven radio? I can check it out. It's so good.
