- 0:16Speaker 1: Welcome to Girls Gone Hallmark, a Hallmark of You podcast.
- 0:19Speaker 1: I'm Megan and I'm a longtime Hallmark movie fan.
- 0:22Speaker 2: I'm Wendy and I almost did it again. I'm a
- 0:25Speaker 2: reformed Hallmark hater.
- 0:27Speaker 1: Yeah you are. Today we're discussing Love in the Great
- 0:29Speaker 1: Smoky Mountains, a national park romance. If you want to
- 0:33Speaker 1: connect with Wendy and I outside of the podcast, we'd
- 0:36Speaker 1: love for you to follow us on Instagram. We're Girls
- 0:38Speaker 1: Gone Hallmark and Megan and Wendy jump into our Girls
- 0:43Speaker 1: Gone Hallmark Facebook group. I've been letting in people there recently.
- 0:48Speaker 2: Have you. Yeah, our number getting high in there. I
- 0:54Speaker 2: won't say what it is because it's probably laughable to
- 0:56Speaker 2: some people, but.
- 0:57Speaker 1: It's an engaged group and they had a lot to
- 1:00Speaker 1: say about this movie. They certainly did. It makes me
- 1:05Speaker 1: feel a little better when there's like almost a consensus
- 1:07Speaker 1: across the board about the movie. Yeah, before we come
- 1:11Speaker 1: in hot mm hmm.
- 1:12Speaker 2: Yeah, I gotta tell you just a quick side note.
- 1:16Speaker 2: Earlier this week, our Falling for You redeo came out. Yeah,
- 1:20Speaker 2: and I think I feel like I'm hiding behind hot
- 1:25Speaker 2: Hands because I don't want the heinies to be upset.
- 1:29Speaker 1: Well, it was a very popular episode listener wise in
- 1:33Speaker 1: terms of downloads. I gotta I bet they're warming up
- 1:35Speaker 1: their email finger eee.
- 1:37Speaker 2: I did get a message from a regular listener who
- 1:40Speaker 2: was like, ooh, we had the heinies come for.
- 1:41Speaker 1: You yet, and I was like, no, yeah, not yet.
- 1:45Speaker 2: Anyway, So join us in our Facebook group Girls Gone Hallmark.
- 1:48Speaker 2: There is a link in the show notes below.
- 1:51Speaker 1: Before we talk about Loving the Great Smoky Mountains, let's
- 1:54Speaker 1: check in with some Hallmark news and notes. We did
- 1:56Speaker 1: get a new Hallmark October schedule. Yeah, and if you
- 2:02Speaker 1: were paying close attention, you might notice that that schedule
- 2:05Speaker 1: ends mid October, and Wendy has some thoughts about why
- 2:08Speaker 1: that might be.
- 2:09Speaker 2: Well, I think that's when they're dropping count down to Christmas.
- 2:12Speaker 2: I mean it hasn't officially been announced.
- 2:14Speaker 1: Yet, but that third weekend in October we think they're
- 2:17Speaker 1: leaving open they have to write.
- 2:20Speaker 2: I'm personally surprised because I mean, how many movies can
- 2:23Speaker 2: they have this year? How many Christmas movies could they
- 2:27Speaker 2: have this year? I don't know, and like to be
- 2:29Speaker 2: starting it so early in October again like they have
- 2:32Speaker 2: in previous years.
- 2:34Speaker 1: That's the big question. I'm dying to see what the
- 2:36Speaker 1: schedule looks like.
- 2:37Speaker 2: I'm if I was a bet in gal, I bet
- 2:40Speaker 2: it's not three movies three new movies a weekend. There's
- 2:43Speaker 2: no way. What do you think the number.
- 2:45Speaker 1: Ten in the twenties. I'm guessing somewhere in the twenties.
- 2:49Speaker 1: Can you get two movies a weekend? Maybe we'll see,
- 2:52Speaker 1: we will. This is the first year that I'm excited
- 2:54Speaker 1: for it. I was watching TV. Well, that's not true.
- 2:58Speaker 1: My husband was watching TV the other night and I
- 3:00Speaker 1: look up my hausend's a long Time Days of Our
- 3:02Speaker 1: Lives fan and I look up and who's on my
- 3:06Speaker 1: screen but one Jen Lily? Mm hmm, And I was like,
- 3:09Speaker 1: Jen Lily, what are you doing here? Back to soaps? Huh?
- 3:12Speaker 1: She returned because actor John Anniston passed away last year,
- 3:16Speaker 1: and his character Victor Kiriocus recently passed away on the show.
- 3:24Speaker 1: I don't ask me how they did that. I don't know.
- 3:26Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 3:27Speaker 2: Didn't they have a different actor play him? No? No,
- 3:31Speaker 2: has he been gone for some time off the show,
- 3:34Speaker 2: but he only recently died on the show. Okay is
- 3:36Speaker 2: what I'm saying. All right?
- 3:37Speaker 1: And she returned to do it basically a John Anniston tribute.
- 3:41Speaker 1: They're saying goodbye to Victor.
- 3:43Speaker 2: What is she to him?
- 3:44Speaker 1: On the show? She's not his child, because that's what
- 3:47Speaker 1: I said, she has daughter and my husband said no.
- 3:50Speaker 1: And my hus didn't like me to ask a lot
- 3:51Speaker 1: of questions because I used to be a Days of
- 3:53Speaker 1: Our Lives watcher, uh huh. And if you don't watch regularly,
- 3:57Speaker 1: a lot happens and actors change. And so when I
- 4:01Speaker 1: come in and ask questions, he's like, you need to
- 4:03Speaker 1: watch all the time. You can't come in like once
- 4:05Speaker 1: every other week and like ask me to catch you up.
- 4:08Speaker 1: You either need to watch her.
- 4:09Speaker 2: Okay, someone's gatekeeping Days or Lives or yeah.
- 4:14Speaker 1: Wow, anyway, she was back in tears on Peacock because
- 4:19Speaker 1: Days is only on Peacock. It's only on Peacock now. Yes,
- 4:23Speaker 1: it moved from NBC to Peacock exclusively. Wow, I beout.
- 4:29Speaker 2: That really ruffled some feathers, no pun intend but I
- 4:33Speaker 2: you know, the old granny's watching their stories or not
- 4:36Speaker 2: on NBC anymore. Now, I know, I gotta figure out
- 4:39Speaker 2: how to use Peacock.
- 4:41Speaker 1: Let's talk love in the Great Is that it for
- 4:43Speaker 1: Hallmark Music?
- 4:44Speaker 2: Notes quiet week Huh did you want more?
- 4:47Speaker 1: I just was curious, That's all I've got.
- 4:50Speaker 2: Okay, all right? Synopsis Former Sweethearts reo Nite At an
- 4:55Speaker 2: archaeological dig in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, they
- 5:00Speaker 2: work together, competing for the same research grant. They discover
- 5:04Speaker 2: they might still have feelings for one another. Dead silence.
- 5:08Speaker 1: Huh there's a note before I let loose? Ooh, okay.
- 5:14Speaker 1: This is the third movie in the National Park Romance
- 5:16Speaker 1: series from the Hallmark Channel, and maybe we just let
- 5:20Speaker 1: it go. Don't steal my first time?
- 5:23Speaker 2: Oh no? How need to report that it was actually
- 5:27Speaker 2: filmed in the Great Smoky Mountains in Tennessee, as well
- 5:30Speaker 2: as Fall Creek Falls State Park and Knoxville, Tennessee.
- 5:34Speaker 1: According to the National Park Conservation Association website, the southeastern
- 5:39Speaker 1: United States was formerly inhabited by the Cherokee Nation. Their
- 5:42Speaker 1: hunting grounds included the mountains and valleys that are now
- 5:44Speaker 1: encompassed by the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. Haven't you
- 5:48Speaker 1: been there?
- 5:49Speaker 2: Yes?
- 5:49Speaker 1: Gorgeous? Is it? Yes?
- 5:52Speaker 2: I mean while I was watching the movie, I was like, yes,
- 5:54Speaker 2: it's very pretty to look at.
- 5:55Speaker 1: Do what I want to visit? I don't know. The
- 5:58Speaker 1: Smoking Mountains are beautiful, I breathtaking, especially living someplace like
- 6:03Speaker 1: where we live, we don't have that kind of nature,
- 6:05Speaker 1: like lush forests. Famously in our house, the Smoky Mountains
- 6:09Speaker 1: were the site of the moment that my husband has
- 6:12Speaker 1: been trying to recapture ever since, where at one point
- 6:16Speaker 1: we pulled over off the side of the road alongside
- 6:19Speaker 1: a river and just walked down and put our feet
- 6:23Speaker 1: in the creek and like it was flowing fresh water.
- 6:27Speaker 1: And so he wants to do what now, Like he
- 6:30Speaker 1: wants to live somewhere where you can just pull over
- 6:33Speaker 1: and you're like, there's the creek, you relax in the
- 6:36Speaker 1: cool water under a shady tree. Okay, we were not
- 6:40Speaker 1: the only people there. People had their chairs, People had
- 6:42Speaker 1: sought this out, so it's not that unusual. I don't
- 6:46Speaker 1: want to sit by a creek all day long. No, No,
- 6:50Speaker 1: I would go out of my mind. Aeriel Kibble is
- 6:54Speaker 1: that how you would say her name? Yeah?
- 6:56Speaker 2: Okay. She plays Hayley James. She has seventy seven prior
- 7:01Speaker 2: acting credits, including Hallmark movies, A Bride for Christmas and A.
- 7:05Speaker 1: Brush with Love.
- 7:06Speaker 2: She was also Lindsey Dean's wife on Gilmour Girls for
- 7:10Speaker 2: nine episodes, she was in the future film John Tucker
- 7:13Speaker 2: Must Die and three episodes of the show Unreal. She's
- 7:18Speaker 2: been on a lot of stuff.
- 7:21Speaker 1: Zach Rory plays Rob. This appears to be his first
- 7:23Speaker 1: Hallmark movie. Other acting credits include his one hundred and
- 7:27Speaker 1: seventy one episode run as Matt Donovan on The Vampire Diaries,
- 7:30Speaker 1: two hundred and eighty one episodes on the daytime soap
- 7:33Speaker 1: As The World Turns, and six episodes as Cash on
- 7:37Speaker 1: Friday Night Lights.
- 7:38Speaker 2: I don't remember a character named Cash on Friday Night Lights.
- 7:41Speaker 1: Do you now that you mention it?
- 7:43Speaker 2: No?
- 7:43Speaker 1: I do not.
- 7:44Speaker 2: I've watched that show. I've done a rewatch on the show.
- 7:47Speaker 2: I don't remember who Cash is. This was written by
- 7:50Speaker 2: Bruce D. Johnson, who has ten writing credits, including the
- 7:53Speaker 2: Hallmark's Journey of My Heart and Love on the Slopes.
- 7:57Speaker 1: Danny J. Boyle served as directory as forty three previous
- 8:00Speaker 1: directing credits, including Nightmare School Moms and The Man with
- 8:03Speaker 1: My Husband's Face, both from this year.
- 8:06Speaker 2: I gotta see those Nightmare School Moms. I mean I
- 8:09Speaker 2: could have written that story. Sporting cast includes Daniel Vega
- 8:13Speaker 2: s Sky and Kai Bryden as Troy Winters. Indeed, yes,
- 8:20Speaker 2: let's talk first impressions, go for it. I think it's
- 8:23Speaker 2: time to put this National Park romance series to bed,
- 8:28Speaker 2: an eternal nap, so to speak.
- 8:31Speaker 1: My first impression is my thoughts about this movie are
- 8:33Speaker 1: as disjointed as the two clumsily combined plot line. Yes, yes, okay,
- 8:38Speaker 1: there were some things I liked. Okay, tell me about them.
- 8:42Speaker 2: I think they did a nice job giving the Cherokee
- 8:45Speaker 2: nation backstory it's due right up into and including the
- 8:48Speaker 2: tour that Sky gives featuring actual Cherokee showcasing their work.
- 8:54Speaker 2: Some of the Haley and rob exposition about the Cherokee
- 8:57Speaker 2: people was clunky. It was like, let's tell.
- 9:00Speaker 1: Some more of their stories. I didn't really want to
- 9:03Speaker 1: hear it from Hailey and Rubb. Yeah, I liked more
- 9:05Speaker 1: of the first hand accounts.
- 9:07Speaker 2: So I agree with that and have that in my
- 9:10Speaker 2: liked notes as well. I thought Sky and Troy were
- 9:14Speaker 2: very good. Well, I thought they were fine in the movie,
- 9:18Speaker 2: but in that part of the storytelling, I thought I
- 9:23Speaker 2: was more interested in them than I were.
- 9:26Speaker 1: Our lead characters. Agree, and I honestly would have preferred
- 9:30Speaker 1: that our pivotal kiss come from the two of them
- 9:32Speaker 1: rather than Haley and Rubb. Anything else you liked? Ario
- 9:38Speaker 1: Kibble was a high point for me. Okay, she's very
- 9:40Speaker 1: enjoyable on screen. What up Dean's wife? And sorry, we're
- 9:43Speaker 1: home wrecked your marriage? But I really enjoy you on
- 9:45Speaker 1: the Hallmark channel, So I agree to you.
- 9:48Speaker 2: I'm interested in I know many listeners of the podcast
- 9:50Speaker 2: have suggested her movie a bride for Christmas with her
- 9:54Speaker 2: and Andrew Walker, so maybe this holiday season, maybe it'll
- 9:59Speaker 2: be one of our rewatchs to rewatch.
- 10:01Speaker 1: Did you like anything else?
- 10:03Speaker 2: I did like the fact that this was actually filmed
- 10:06Speaker 2: in the Great Smoky Mountains. Yes, we weren't getting Canada
- 10:10Speaker 2: as the backdrop, and no offense to Canada. You're very
- 10:13Speaker 2: pretty too, But I thought that it was nice that
- 10:16Speaker 2: they actually filmed on location. Yes, if you're gonna call
- 10:20Speaker 2: it by the name of the National Park and call
- 10:24Speaker 2: it a National Park romance, do the work.
- 10:27Speaker 1: Yeah.
- 10:28Speaker 2: I think Zach Rohrigg has next Tom Mark conret and
- 10:31Speaker 2: all over him.
- 10:32Speaker 1: I disagree. Oh, I find that his grumbly voice gives
- 10:36Speaker 1: me Tyler two point zero vibes Wendy's making a face,
- 10:39Speaker 1: so I don't see it.
- 10:42Speaker 2: Nope.
- 10:42Speaker 1: Does that mean you're ready to move on to what
- 10:43Speaker 1: you wished for? I have one.
- 10:47Speaker 2: One wish, and it is I can't exactly pinpoint it,
- 10:51Speaker 2: but this movie was so utterly boring, so I agree.
- 10:56Speaker 1: I have some wishes. Okay. First off, am I being punked?
- 11:00Speaker 1: Another movie where our potential love interests have to hate
- 11:02Speaker 1: each other? First? Yeah, of course, of course. My next
- 11:06Speaker 1: wish is make a movie about the Terracy Nation or
- 11:08Speaker 1: make a movie about high school sweethearts reconnecting. Don't make
- 11:11Speaker 1: both movies badly?
- 11:12Speaker 2: Yeah. I trying to remember Journey of My Heart, which
- 11:18Speaker 2: was written by the same writer, and I know we
- 11:21Speaker 2: watched it, I can't recall what happened.
- 11:25Speaker 1: Journey of My Heart has that same like chasing waterfalls
- 11:27Speaker 1: feel to it.
- 11:28Speaker 2: Yes, but wasn't it about the indigenous peoples?
- 11:32Speaker 1: Yes? Okay, but a lot of it runs together. I
- 11:35Speaker 1: feel like this is a disservice to the Terrakee Nation
- 11:37Speaker 1: and that the storytelling felt forced at point mm hmm.
- 11:40Speaker 1: I again would have rather watched the story of Tory
- 11:43Speaker 1: and Sky. And finally, one final wish, don't get engaged
- 11:47Speaker 1: Oh my god, don't get engaged. Oh my gosh, awful.
- 11:49Speaker 2: Right, He's like, wait, hold on, let me go get
- 11:51Speaker 2: my ring that I sat in my drawer for the
- 11:54Speaker 2: last five years or whatever.
- 11:56Speaker 1: You reconnected for a few weeks. Why would you do that?
- 12:00Speaker 1: I gotta tell you.
- 12:00Speaker 2: I just don't know if I couldn't get excited for
- 12:04Speaker 2: like the artifacts in this movie, because.
- 12:08Speaker 1: They're pulling perfectly formed artifacts around. Could something be broken
- 12:11Speaker 1: please totally?
- 12:13Speaker 2: Or was the chemistry and the history between Haley and
- 12:18Speaker 2: Rob was it just not compelling enough. I think it's
- 12:21Speaker 2: a combination. I wanted the artifacts to be more meaningful,
- 12:28Speaker 2: make me care more about why it's important.
- 12:32Speaker 1: Okay, Like, okay, this is cool. These people settled here,
- 12:36Speaker 1: they had this whole life, and then they show you
- 12:41Speaker 1: this is what the current day Cherokee people are doing.
- 12:44Speaker 1: But I don't feel like they sold me on the
- 12:48Speaker 1: picture of like, you know, they talked about the trail
- 12:52Speaker 1: of tears, and they did a little bit of the storytelling,
- 12:54Speaker 1: but I felt like they could have made that story bigger,
- 12:57Speaker 1: and I felt maybe like they were walking this far
- 13:00Speaker 1: line in terms of like what the United States government
- 13:04Speaker 1: has done to the Native Americans and not wanting to
- 13:07Speaker 1: push that too far, but I think there's a really
- 13:09Speaker 1: beautiful story to tell there about these original settlers in
- 13:14Speaker 1: these areas, and I don't think they went far enough
- 13:17Speaker 1: with it. Like here's a spearhead. Talk to me more
- 13:20Speaker 1: about why I should care about that.
- 13:22Speaker 2: But I can see in their minds are like, well,
- 13:25Speaker 2: our viewers, our viewers really aren't here for that story.
- 13:29Speaker 2: They're here for the narrative of the reconnection between I know,
- 13:33Speaker 2: I know, I get it. I agree with you totally.
- 13:37Speaker 2: All right, let's talk about did you see that?
- 13:40Speaker 1: Okay, I have a bunch of them. I have a couple.
- 13:43Speaker 2: Did you notice that Ariel Kibble's pinky is like in
- 13:48Speaker 2: the very first scene when she's like across the table
- 13:50Speaker 2: from the doctor lady that who's her, she sets her
- 13:53Speaker 2: hand down on the table and her pinky is like bent,
- 13:57Speaker 2: like in a shape of like a upside down, like
- 14:00Speaker 2: it's permanently broken, permanently broken. And then that's all I
- 14:03Speaker 2: could notice throughout the entire movie, when she's holding her
- 14:06Speaker 2: champagne glass and her pinky's all. So I did some googling, yes,
- 14:11Speaker 2: and I couldn't find anything with the exception of a podcast,
- 14:15Speaker 2: and it was mentioned in the show notes, but I
- 14:17Speaker 2: didn't have time to listen to the podcast to hear
- 14:19Speaker 2: what this deal was with the pinky okay, and you.
- 14:23Speaker 1: Never saw it. I didn't.
- 14:24Speaker 2: I'm curious if any other viewers of this movie saw viewers.
- 14:29Speaker 2: That's all I could see throughout the entire freaking movie.
- 14:31Speaker 1: Interesting. Yes, yes, I want to talk about the cave.
- 14:34Speaker 1: I have two things to say about the cave. Oh god. Yes.
- 14:36Speaker 1: First of all, the end of the movie, when she's
- 14:38Speaker 1: crawling into that tiny entrance, yea. Not for all the
- 14:42Speaker 1: money in the world would I climb into that cave
- 14:45Speaker 1: via that entrance. And I do want you to know
- 14:47Speaker 1: that in the Great Smoking Mountains we did do a
- 14:49Speaker 1: cavern tour of the Tuckalichi caverns. I am highly claustrophobic.
- 14:56Speaker 1: They're huge on the inside, like you can walk around huge,
- 14:58Speaker 1: enormous downstairs. You're not climbing through a hole to get
- 15:02Speaker 1: into them. Yes, I thought that was very brave for
- 15:04Speaker 1: her to crawl in that hole.
- 15:05Speaker 2: Were there bats in that cavern when you were there,
- 15:08Speaker 2: not when we were there, not that we saw, whether
- 15:12Speaker 2: they lived there or not. I'm just going to that's
- 15:14Speaker 2: none of my business.
- 15:15Speaker 1: Okay, okay, speaking of bats, though, she goes, yeah, bats,
- 15:19Speaker 1: I hate bats. Yeah. That's like an Indiana Jones line,
- 15:23Speaker 1: is it? Yeah? Because he goes, thanks, I hate snakes.
- 15:26Speaker 2: Oh oh, you think we were supposed to get that?
- 15:29Speaker 2: You think you were suppose Okay, I quick story about bats.
- 15:32Speaker 2: When we were in Hawaii several years ago, we did
- 15:35Speaker 2: a like an inner tube ride. Oh yeah, through the
- 15:40Speaker 2: former like Sugar Waterway canals. I don't know. I don't
- 15:45Speaker 2: know what it was in Kuai. I might have been
- 15:47Speaker 2: in Kuai. It wasn't remember was it on it?
- 15:51Speaker 1: No? But I remember. I know because we've talked about it,
- 15:55Speaker 1: and well, I just would bet you money go back
- 15:57Speaker 1: and look at your pictures from when you're in Kuai.
- 16:00Speaker 2: Honestly think it was MAUI.
- 16:01Speaker 1: I don't think. So call your husband right now. He
- 16:04Speaker 1: won't remember.
- 16:05Speaker 2: I'm gonna go back and look at the pictures and
- 16:07Speaker 2: see where it was. Anyway, we were in this like
- 16:11Speaker 2: cavern and the torque. I'd goes, close your eyes through
- 16:16Speaker 2: this next part, don't open them. And it was because
- 16:19Speaker 2: it was filled with bats and like people previously have
- 16:23Speaker 2: like freaked out. Yes, So I kept my eyes as
- 16:26Speaker 2: tight as coreopy because I didn't know. He never said
- 16:28Speaker 2: like their bats here. He just said close your eyes
- 16:30Speaker 2: through this next part.
- 16:31Speaker 1: And he told you after the fact. Why, yes, after
- 16:34Speaker 1: the fact.
- 16:34Speaker 2: Have you ever been to Austin when they have like
- 16:36Speaker 2: they have been to Austin with you, but we didn't
- 16:39Speaker 2: go see the bats?
- 16:40Speaker 1: Oh yeah, I duh.
- 16:41Speaker 2: I forgot that we went there together. I had been
- 16:43Speaker 2: there previously with my husband and they are like.
- 16:45Speaker 1: Oh, what's so cool, like when the sun goes down
- 16:48Speaker 1: from another bridge?
- 16:49Speaker 2: Yeah, but I don't I don't think we've ever seen
- 16:51Speaker 2: I don't think I've personally ever seen it.
- 16:53Speaker 1: Anyway, what else did you see?
- 16:56Speaker 2: At times it looked like Ariel Kibble had a she
- 16:59Speaker 2: was wearing like a my pack on her back. So
- 17:02Speaker 2: she was in a lot of tank tops, and sometimes
- 17:04Speaker 2: you could see like she there was a pack under
- 17:08Speaker 2: her tank top. And I was like wondering, like, that's
- 17:11Speaker 2: not normal for them, right, Isn't there usually like a boom,
- 17:15Speaker 2: a sound boom or what everything? But like on that
- 17:19Speaker 2: terrain and stuff that they were on, maybe there was
- 17:22Speaker 2: not somebody like feeling them with a sound boom.
- 17:24Speaker 1: I don't know.
- 17:25Speaker 2: But then I also noticed that one time she was
- 17:29Speaker 2: she was digging up that stickball stick. Yeah, and it
- 17:32Speaker 2: was you could kind of seem down her top and
- 17:35Speaker 2: I swear I saw Mike. Oh so maybe anything else.
- 17:40Speaker 1: Yes.
- 17:42Speaker 2: Shout out to the Girls Gone Hallmark Facebook group member
- 17:45Speaker 2: Vanessa for mentioning that in two separate scenes, Haley talked
- 17:49Speaker 2: about applying for the same dig as Rob. They are
- 17:52Speaker 2: basically the same lines repeated in two completely different scenes.
- 17:57Speaker 1: Oh and this.
- 17:59Speaker 2: Was a lot of talk in the Facebook group is like, uh,
- 18:01Speaker 2: why wasn't there like a script supervisor there to be like, uh,
- 18:04Speaker 2: we already talked about it, we already shot this. Yeah,
- 18:07Speaker 2: two more small things. You kind of mentioned it earlier.
- 18:10Speaker 2: When Haley unearths the stickball stick, it's in perfect condition.
- 18:14Speaker 2: It's not dirty, it's not broken, it's not like strings
- 18:17Speaker 2: are still there. She just picks it up with their
- 18:19Speaker 2: bare hands, Like I don't know anything about like archaeologists,
- 18:22Speaker 2: like I would think there's probably some method.
- 18:25Speaker 1: Well, when they're digging in the dirt, they're just like
- 18:27Speaker 1: shoving shovels and they're like they're about to plant a tree.
- 18:29Speaker 1: I was like, if you encounter like something breakable, it
- 18:33Speaker 1: is now broken. I know as I had to sit
- 18:34Speaker 1: there with.
- 18:35Speaker 2: Like little brushes and like brush away the dirt, and like,
- 18:38Speaker 2: you know what, I think they were a.
- 18:39Speaker 1: Little off with their fake artifacts.
- 18:41Speaker 2: And also I was like all the shit that they
- 18:43Speaker 2: kept finding, I was like, really, yeah, I kind of
- 18:46Speaker 2: don't think it works like that. I don't think so either.
- 18:48Speaker 2: And finally, Hailey's wearing this like shambray shirt that is
- 18:53Speaker 2: hanging off one shoulder. Her and Rob are like hiking
- 18:57Speaker 2: or something, and it's like, just it's a very cute look,
- 19:00Speaker 2: you know, you know what I'm talking like a button
- 19:01Speaker 2: down share but it's like open and it's hanging off
- 19:03Speaker 2: one shoulder. I mean, it's cute when you're like at
- 19:06Speaker 2: the baseball game or whatever, but I don't think when
- 19:08Speaker 2: you're out on a hike, like it's not.
- 19:11Speaker 1: Very comfortable to be flopping around on your shoulder.
- 19:13Speaker 2: No. And then in addition to that, she's carrying a
- 19:15Speaker 2: heavy ass backpack on one shoulder. She's traversing like all
- 19:20Speaker 2: this like mountain mountain, what's terrain? Terrain? With a backpack
- 19:26Speaker 2: on one shoulder, why are you not carrying it on
- 19:28Speaker 2: both excellent point. I'm just annoyed by these stupid things.
- 19:32Speaker 1: You reade it a rate? Sure, what'd you give it?
- 19:38Speaker 1: I gave it one star? Oh, Wendy, I give it
- 19:42Speaker 1: to for what? I don't know? I know there's that's
- 19:47Speaker 1: honestly checked it. The entire time I watched it, I thought,
- 19:49Speaker 1: I don't know what I'm gonna say about this movie.
- 19:52Speaker 1: I don't this is such a I don't know what
- 19:56Speaker 1: to say about this movie.
- 19:57Speaker 2: But you're gonna give it two stars.
- 19:59Speaker 1: Yeah, it wasn't a one story movie for me. It
- 20:02Speaker 1: wasn't quite there, but it wasn't anything more than that.
- 20:06Speaker 2: I'm just telling you, if another National Park romance movie
- 20:09Speaker 2: comes up on the schedule, we are skipping it. Okay, okay, great, Hey,
