- 0:00Speaker 1: Things that must go on the radio.
- 0:08Speaker 2: These are things that are bugging you, our dear friends
- 0:11Speaker 2: of the program, things that you're upset about, things that
- 0:13Speaker 2: you want out of your life, things that must go.
- 0:16Speaker 2: If you email them to us radio from hell at
- 0:18Speaker 2: X ninety six dot com, you put muscle on the
- 0:20Speaker 2: subject line, and maybe if we read yours on the air,
- 0:24Speaker 2: it'll make you feel better and maybe some I mean,
- 0:27Speaker 2: we were told sometimes these things do actually disappear from
- 0:30Speaker 2: your life. So it's things that must go. Why don't
- 0:33Speaker 2: you start todd.
- 0:34Speaker 3: All right, this is a true story things that must
- 0:36Speaker 3: go in my real life. One week ago today had
- 0:40Speaker 3: my windshield replaced.
- 0:41Speaker 4: Ah, there were.
- 0:44Speaker 3: Numerous chips and cracks, and finally I said, okay, it's
- 0:47Speaker 3: to that point. And then I'm not kidding. Yesterday I'm
- 0:50Speaker 3: driving into work in the snow to the damn sales meeting.
- 0:53Speaker 3: I should have just stayed home and rockship bam right
- 0:57Speaker 3: there on the freeway, not even making it a week.
- 1:01Speaker 3: And then another thing that must go. Those thugs and
- 1:04Speaker 3: criminals that are part of our health plan that are
- 1:06Speaker 3: supposed to pay back our medical expenses bill. You know
- 1:09Speaker 3: what I'm talking about. I sure do yeah, criminals, and
- 1:12Speaker 3: it's my goal. I'm going to make sure that they
- 1:15Speaker 3: lose the Broadway Media account. Wow, okay, I'm on it,
- 1:19Speaker 3: all right. I'm going all the way to the right
- 1:22Speaker 3: insurance commissioner.
- 1:23Speaker 4: All right, and any other musc go oh.
- 1:27Speaker 3: And then a couple here from some friends of the program.
- 1:29Speaker 3: SID sent some inch. She said, the frequency and intensity
- 1:33Speaker 3: of maintenance that it takes to keep my aging human
- 1:35Speaker 3: body functioning at a mediocre level.
- 1:38Speaker 4: It's too much to think about. I totally hear you.
- 1:41Speaker 3: When a job posting list the position is remote, but
- 1:43Speaker 3: what they really mean is that the position requires travel
- 1:46Speaker 3: and you'll be expected to work remotely. And then finally,
- 1:50Speaker 3: my noise canceling headphones not canceling enough noise, and I
- 1:53Speaker 3: can still hear my coworker clearing his sinuses every two minutes.
- 1:56Speaker 3: Thank you, Sid? All right, pardon me one more here,
- 2:01Speaker 3: This one from Jana. She says text messages and replacement
- 2:04Speaker 3: of an email, letter or phone call, and abbreviations that
- 2:08Speaker 3: are this one like iykyk. Most of these don't make
- 2:12Speaker 3: sense and not well known in normal circumstances and communication.
- 2:15Speaker 3: Now I know this because I have four nephews that
- 2:18Speaker 3: are between the ages of sixteen and eighteen, and when
- 2:21Speaker 3: they send me a text message, I often have to
- 2:23Speaker 3: get out the urim and thumbum to.
- 2:25Speaker 4: Figure out what the hell are they talking about?
- 2:28Speaker 2: Yeah?
- 2:28Speaker 4: Is that it? Yep, there you go?
- 2:30Speaker 2: All right, I'll go next. This is from Lindsay because
- 2:34Speaker 2: it says, Hi, I'm Lindsay. My thing that must go
- 2:37Speaker 2: is past evictions making it impossible to get housing without
- 2:41Speaker 2: subletting under the table situations. The only reason we were
- 2:46Speaker 2: laid on rent was because we got bed bugs and
- 2:49Speaker 2: they had to professionally clean the apartment, so they charged
- 2:52Speaker 2: us and that put us behind and we weren't able
- 2:56Speaker 2: to pay rent on time last month of our lease.
- 2:58Speaker 2: If anyone has advice, please well says. If anyone has
- 3:01Speaker 2: advice what I could do, please email me, And there's
- 3:04Speaker 2: an email. I don't think I feel comfortable giving the
- 3:06Speaker 2: email addresser on the air though, Sorry Lindsey. Let's see
- 3:11Speaker 2: this one says, feel free to use my name. Okay
- 3:15Speaker 2: Tyler job hunting ninety nine percent chance that you will
- 3:20Speaker 2: not get any message beyond and automated Thanks for submitting
- 3:24Speaker 2: your resume.
- 3:26Speaker 4: We will blah blah blah blah blah, I can deal
- 3:28Speaker 4: with the rejection.
- 3:29Speaker 2: I just hate nothing throwing my resume into the void
- 3:33Speaker 2: and not just getting an automated response.
- 3:36Speaker 5: But at least you're getting a response. Most people don't
- 3:38Speaker 5: even get that.
- 3:39Speaker 4: PS.
- 3:40Speaker 2: If anyone's looking for a systems administrator, I'm free. And
- 3:43Speaker 2: number two, when Bill says thank you and then call
- 3:48Speaker 2: her name, say thank you John, or say thank you Tyler,
- 3:52Speaker 2: He's served up a great joke and not one persons
- 3:56Speaker 2: has done the joke. And I keep wondering that myself.
- 4:00Speaker 2: I say thank you Tyler, then Tyler should respond thank
- 4:03Speaker 2: you Tyler.
- 4:04Speaker 4: Ah.
- 4:05Speaker 2: You see, they don't do it. Thanks, thanks for letting
- 4:08Speaker 2: me listen. And then finally this one good morning radio
- 4:10Speaker 2: from hell. My things that must go are the rain
- 4:12Speaker 2: at the doxy Derby this past weekend, it made waiting
- 4:15Speaker 2: in line for a beer and a corn dog worse.
- 4:18Speaker 2: Nick Davis overworked that he can't tell the difference between
- 4:21Speaker 2: a scratch off a ticket and a lottery ticket. He
- 4:23Speaker 2: works really hard covering for Gina and his show at
- 4:27Speaker 2: ten pm to two am. He deserves to relax like
- 4:30Speaker 2: Victoria Ratliffe with a bottle of lords a pan. That's
- 4:33Speaker 2: why at a luxurious high resort from the White House,
- 4:36Speaker 2: from the White Lotus. And now you can interrupt. Sorry,
- 4:39Speaker 2: that's I'm playing a part of gin I'm supposed to interrupt.
- 4:42Speaker 2: And that's why I'm covering for Nick today because he
- 4:44Speaker 2: desperately needs a break.
- 4:45Speaker 4: He needs a couple of hours of sleep.
- 4:47Speaker 2: And also getting hot sauce from Taco Tuesday. Squirt it
- 4:50Speaker 2: on my shirt. Thanks for letting me listen, Tony Kerry.
- 4:53Speaker 5: All right, first one is from the foot of Mount Doom,
- 4:57Speaker 5: from our house. Give you an idea of how difficult
- 4:59Speaker 5: we have it. M hmm, thick lemon rinds that make
- 5:02Speaker 5: it hard to squeeze the lemon juice.
- 5:05Speaker 4: I hate that. Oh my god, that's.
- 5:07Speaker 5: Just the worst, isn't it. Trying times, trying times. Let's
- 5:13Speaker 5: see this one from our old friend Chuck. I'm gonna
- 5:15Speaker 5: do this in a proper accent. By the way, having
- 5:19Speaker 5: just moved to Louisiana, here's some Southern things that must go.
- 5:25Speaker 5: Just when I get my pool clean, a storm comes through.
- 5:29Speaker 5: Thunderstorm comes through, dumping all kinds of trash in my
- 5:32Speaker 5: pool again, so I have to clean it like every day.
- 5:35Speaker 5: And oh man, speaking of thunderstorms, my dog don't like them.
- 5:38Speaker 5: Every time there's a clap of thunderdog's going nuts. Sorry,
- 5:43Speaker 5: Chuck acting thank you. Let's see does not say I
- 5:48Speaker 5: can sing, so I won't. My family talking about transgenders
- 5:52Speaker 5: not having science behind it rather than researching it. My
- 5:57Speaker 5: son is transgender, and you would think that they would
- 6:00Speaker 5: research it since they have a transgender nephew.
- 6:02Speaker 4: They must go.
- 6:05Speaker 5: And this one from Let's see.
- 6:09Speaker 4: This one from Annie.
- 6:12Speaker 5: A thing that must go is dedicating years to a
- 6:14Speaker 5: job only to become too expensive wage wise for the
- 6:17Speaker 5: company's budget and getting phased out. Another thing that must
- 6:20Speaker 5: go is when the honest entry level works such as Target.
- 6:24Speaker 5: You know, things like that employers decide that you're a
- 6:26Speaker 5: flight risk because you're too overqualified. Not being able to
- 6:30Speaker 5: find a job at either place must go. Not to
- 6:33Speaker 5: be a bummer.
- 6:34Speaker 4: These are things that must go
- 6:38Speaker 1: Things that must go on the radio,
