  Speaker 1: you start your day right as we come to the

  Speaker 1: end of this work week. Let's go into this final day,

  Speaker 1: not just trying to make it through to the weekend,

  Speaker 1: but looking for what God has to say to us
• 0:20
  Speaker 1: and what God has to do through us today.

  Speaker 1: God loves you and God wants to speak to you
• 0:30
  Speaker 1: right now through His word.

  Speaker 1: And God wants you to learn to take time with
• 0:35
  Speaker 1: Him every day, listening to Him.
• 0:38
  Speaker 1: Speaking to him, responding to what he's saying to you,
• 0:43
  Speaker 1: God wants to be at the centre of your life
• 0:46
  Speaker 1: because God is the supreme being. He is at the
• 0:50
  Speaker 1: centre of this universe. Life is about Him, not about you.
• 0:55
  Speaker 1: And when you learn to put him at the centre
• 0:57
  Speaker 1: of your life, all of life comes together.

  Speaker 1: We're looking this week at the theme of God's voice
• 1:04
  Speaker 1: in our lives, and today we come to a passage
• 1:07
  Speaker 1: in Luke chapter 10.

  Speaker 1: Starting in verse 25, it says, and behold, a certain
• 1:14
  Speaker 1: expert in the Jewish law stood up and put Jesus
• 1:19
  Speaker 1: to the test, saying, Teacher.
• 1:23
  Speaker 1: What shall I do to inherit eternal life?
• 1:27
  Speaker 1: Jesus said to him, Well, what is written in the law?
• 1:31
  Speaker 1: How does it read to you?
• 1:34
  Speaker 1: And he answered and said
• 1:37
  Speaker 1: You shall love the Lord your God with all your
• 1:42
  Speaker 1: heart and with all your soul and with all your
• 1:46
  Speaker 1: strength and with all your mind and your neighbour as yourself.

  Speaker 1: And Jesus said to him,
• 1:55
  Speaker 1: You have answered correctly.

  Speaker 1: Do this and you will live.

  Speaker 1: Well, there's lots of things about that passage to think about.

  Speaker 1: But the big thing about it is this God tells
• 2:10
  Speaker 1: us in this passage what matters to Him the most,
• 2:16
  Speaker 1: and what matters to God the most in your life
• 2:20
  Speaker 1: is that you love Him with all your being.
• 2:24
  Speaker 1: Just think of all the commands of the Bible.
• 2:28
  Speaker 1: As you read through the Bible, you see that God
• 2:32
  Speaker 1: takes His commands very seriously, that the consequences He brings
• 2:36
  Speaker 1: into people's lives who ignore what He asks them to
• 2:40
  Speaker 1: do are very severe.
• 2:42
  Speaker 1: And yet in spite of how seriously God takes every command,
• 2:47
  Speaker 1: none of those commands matters to God as much as
• 2:50
  Speaker 1: this one.
• 2:52
  Speaker 1: Expressing God's heart desire for you.
• 2:56
  Speaker 1: That you would love God with all your soul and
• 3:00
  Speaker 1: strength and mind.
• 3:03
  Speaker 1: You know this beautiful command comes with a promise as well.
• 3:07
  Speaker 1: And this promise is yours for the taking.

  Speaker 1: Have you ever had a time in your life when
• 3:13
  Speaker 1: you loved God with every fibre of your being?
• 3:17
  Speaker 1: Wouldn't you love to get back to those days?
• 3:21
  Speaker 1: If you'd never had a time like that, wouldn't you
• 3:23
  Speaker 1: like to start today?
• 3:26
  Speaker 1: God is already loving you that way with every fibre
• 3:29
  Speaker 1: of His being.
• 3:31
  Speaker 1: And he wants you to respond with that kind of
• 3:34
  Speaker 1: love back to him as well.
• 3:37
  Speaker 1: God loves you.
• 3:40
  Speaker 1: Make it the aim of your life to love him
• 3:45
  Speaker 1: with everything in you as well.
• 3:47
