Speaker 1: It's still.
0:15
Speaker 2: Welcome, everybody. Welcome to this week's edition The Star Relta Show,

0:25
Speaker 2: twenty twenty four. Welcome to your NXC Halloween Havoc Preview
0:29
Speaker 2: and Predictions edition of s R. T.
0:33
Speaker 1: Hugh.
0:34
Speaker 2: I am One After Show. I Am Jeff Pack, joined
0:38
Speaker 2: every single week by co host the one Only Doctor
0:40
Speaker 2: Trey Franklin. Doctor Trey has John Moxley brought you back,
0:45
Speaker 2: my friend.
0:46
Speaker 3: Ooh uh, brought me back. Let me see, having like
0:50
Speaker 3: a refund. So I brought back, like am I getting exchanged?
0:53
Speaker 2: Brought you back from life to life.
0:56
Speaker 3: I don't know my evan essence now, like that's an
0:59
Speaker 3: old reference, but I like John Moxley.
1:03
Speaker 1: He's uh.
1:04
Speaker 3: I think somebody once called him recently the modern day
1:07
Speaker 3: Terry Funk. So yeah, I'm intrigued. I'm playing along. I mean,
1:12
Speaker 3: I'm I'm in the game, but I don't know if
1:15
Speaker 3: I'm all in.
1:16
Speaker 2: So let's talk about it. Blackpool Combat Club storyline is
1:20
Speaker 2: really taking over aw It is transcending multiple shows, whether
1:24
Speaker 2: it be Dynamite Collision Rampage. From time to time, they
1:28
Speaker 2: are really pushing their foot on the gas on this.
1:31
Speaker 2: There was a report out earlier or late last week.
1:33
Speaker 2: I should say that the original plans for Brian Danielson's
1:37
Speaker 2: world title run, which we had heard, was he's got
1:40
Speaker 2: to win the title all in and then drop it
1:42
Speaker 2: to Darby Allen at Wrussell Dream Tacoma Hometown Boy, give
1:46
Speaker 2: it to Darby Allen a run with We had heard
1:49
Speaker 2: rumblings about that, I think leading into all In, that
1:52
Speaker 2: that was what AW was potentially thinking about. Maybe it
1:55
Speaker 2: was post all In. After Danielson won, they obviously changed
1:59
Speaker 2: it around. Darby lost the title shot at Grand Slam
2:03
Speaker 2: to Moxley. Moxley wants the title at Russell Dreaman. Now
2:06
Speaker 2: we're foot on the accelerator with this Blackpool Combat Club storyline,
2:09
Speaker 2: and the reason why the change happened is because AW
2:12
Speaker 2: reportedly wants to gain some more interest into the product,
2:15
Speaker 2: and they're pushing this Blackpool Combat Club storyline to the
2:20
Speaker 2: forefront to re engage some fans that may be on
2:23
Speaker 2: the fringe or those that are on I guess life
2:27
Speaker 2: supporting a way which I think I can almost put
2:29
Speaker 2: myself in that basket at times. So the question asked
2:33
Speaker 2: doctor Trey Aw is really trying hard. We cannot deny
2:37
Speaker 2: that at all. Are they doing a good job sucking
2:40
Speaker 2: you back into their product? Though?
2:43
Speaker 3: I mean it's got my interest and I think we've
2:46
Speaker 3: talked about it. I think I talked about with you
2:48
Speaker 3: like one last CO show, like you and I being
2:51
Speaker 3: lifelong wrestling fans, love invasion takeover angles because you see
2:58
Speaker 3: some alliances you thought you never see. You see some
3:02
Speaker 3: intriguing matchups you thought you'd never see. Plus there's always
3:05
Speaker 3: mystery involved, whether it's you know, nWo, who's bankrolling the nWo,
3:10
Speaker 3: the WCWECW invasion angle, whether it's even like the Ministry
3:15
Speaker 3: of Darkness stuff, who's the higher power?
3:17
Speaker 1: Like, we love this type of stuff.
3:20
Speaker 3: It's what makes wrestling fans cross over that storyline, suspension
3:26
Speaker 3: of disbelief with the athleticism professional wrestling.
3:28
Speaker 1: We love this stuff.
3:30
Speaker 3: So when something's being done and it is being pushed
3:33
Speaker 3: to the forefront, yeah, it's gonna get my attention. It's
3:37
Speaker 3: going to kind of grab me and go, Okay, where
3:38
Speaker 3: are we going with this? Who's involved? Who are the players?
3:42
Speaker 3: Where the chess pieces going? So I'm engaged in it,
3:45
Speaker 3: But like we've said, we've seen them do so many
3:48
Speaker 3: start and stop storyline pushes that it makes you nervous
3:53
Speaker 3: that this one might fall flat on his face. I mean,
3:56
Speaker 3: we're probably what six weeks into this. They've done a
3:59
Speaker 3: good job for the most part, but I'm still waiting
4:03
Speaker 3: to see some bigger pieces fall into place, because you know,
4:06
Speaker 3: as much as we love the orange cassidyes in the
4:09
Speaker 3: Darby Allens of the world, Like when I see a
4:12
Speaker 3: bunch of good guys outside waiting to fight them, and
4:15
Speaker 3: I see John Silver all five foot five of them
4:18
Speaker 3: right there at the forefront, I'm like, is that well
4:22
Speaker 3: the top three or four baby faces we have, Like
4:24
Speaker 3: that just kind of seems kind of weak if he's
4:26
Speaker 3: the guy fighting the good fight. That's like when I've
4:30
Speaker 3: referenced nWo last week, I was like, you know, that's
4:33
Speaker 3: the l Dandy, the Silver King, you know, those kind
4:36
Speaker 3: of guys when the nWo was kind of taking over
4:38
Speaker 3: WCW that you really didn't care about if they got
4:41
Speaker 3: beat up and destroyed.
4:42
Speaker 2: Yeah, you know, it's funny that you mentioned that, And
4:44
Speaker 2: that was one of the arguments that we had, was like,
4:46
Speaker 2: these are the baby faces that they chose, And I
4:48
Speaker 2: was just looking up some numbers that I wanted to
4:51
Speaker 2: discuss in regards to viewership when it comes to aw Dynamite,
4:54
Speaker 2: and I came across a tweet from Daniel Garcia. He
4:57
Speaker 2: had subtweeted Russell Pure on Twitter, which is an account
5:01
Speaker 2: I always follow for a lot of news notes coverage
5:04
Speaker 2: of professional wrestling. Highly recommend them to everybody. And it's
5:08
Speaker 2: just the video of everybody at the beginning of Dynamite
5:11
Speaker 2: waiting for the Blackpool Blackpool Combat Club and Daniel Garcia,
5:18
Speaker 2: which is something we talked about in the show, and
5:20
Speaker 2: Doctor Trey just mentioned subtweeted that and said, quote, say
5:23
Speaker 2: what you want about this group, but we're the ones fighting,
5:26
Speaker 2: And then he could put in quotes, but what about
5:28
Speaker 2: dot dot dot question mark another quote, whereas dot dot
5:31
Speaker 2: dot question mark, that's a question for them. They should
5:34
Speaker 2: care more. I like that Garcia is addressing that on Twitter,
5:38
Speaker 2: but that's what they should address. Storyline wise, it well
5:42
Speaker 2: like have Daniel Garcia walk in the hallways, he passes
5:45
Speaker 2: by sort of Strickland swerve of why aren't you joining us?
5:47
Speaker 2: Like what do you? I thought you were mister Elite wrestling.
5:50
Speaker 2: You know they're doing that right now with the elite,
5:52
Speaker 2: and you're kind of seeing the young bucks teasing, going
5:54
Speaker 2: back and forth like they want to help. I think
5:56
Speaker 2: Nicholas Jackson had another line. He's been like these this
6:00
Speaker 2: guy for subtle lines during this entire thing. He's like,
6:03
Speaker 2: should we go help? Like you hear or maybe it
6:06
Speaker 2: was Matt, I don't remember which one. I'm pretty sure
6:08
Speaker 2: it was Nick, but anyway, you hear them say should
6:10
Speaker 2: we go help? And I think the camera cut out
6:13
Speaker 2: and Jack Perry's the one that's being like, no, no, no, no,
6:15
Speaker 2: does let it go? But that is something that dismissing
6:19
Speaker 2: the storyline, like I like the top Flight, I like
6:22
Speaker 2: the Dark Orders doing this, but up until this point,
6:25
Speaker 2: why should I give a damn? And then you've got
6:27
Speaker 2: Private Party threatening to split up if they lose their
6:30
Speaker 2: tag team title shot. And they're the ones that are
6:33
Speaker 2: kind of in the forefront of all this with Dani
6:35
Speaker 2: Garcia along with Orange Cassie, like those are some of
6:38
Speaker 2: the recognizable names. It's basically not a who's who, It's
6:42
Speaker 2: a bunch of people that typically get some time on rampage.
6:44
Speaker 2: Lord love them, longtime people in aaw like the butcher
6:47
Speaker 2: I saw the other night, But you know Captain Sean
6:51
Speaker 2: Dean Lord love him, but I'm not thinking he's going
6:54
Speaker 2: to be defending aw's hon or over the BCC. And
6:57
Speaker 2: to me, Doctor Trey, and we do this a lot
6:59
Speaker 2: with the Invasion Angles. We mentioned it in the description
7:02
Speaker 2: of it. Yes, we love Invasion angles and professional wrestling,
7:05
Speaker 2: but sometimes I feel like it gets to be so
7:08
Speaker 2: repetitive that it loses a little bit of luster, because
7:11
Speaker 2: I think you can make a case back in April
7:14
Speaker 2: that the Elite storyline was a takeover of AW, and
7:19
Speaker 2: then they're redoing it again but with a different group
7:22
Speaker 2: this time, so that's a concern. I'm gonna sound like
7:26
Speaker 2: an old head here, but this, to me, Doctor Trey
7:29
Speaker 2: reminds me so much of the way WW handled the
7:33
Speaker 2: nWo angle. It's a bunch of mid tier, not your
7:40
Speaker 2: top talent stars defending the honor of the promotion while
7:44
Speaker 2: the top talent stars are nowhere to be found and
7:46
Speaker 2: hopefully get integrated into it soon. This is one of
7:51
Speaker 2: the closest early stage nWo storylines I could remember in
7:56
Speaker 2: some time. I mean, it really really mirrors it, and
8:01
Speaker 2: we really don't have justification as to why the BCC
8:03
Speaker 2: is doing it. Other than the fact that they're like
8:05
Speaker 2: second tired of all elite wrestling the way that it's gone.
8:07
Speaker 2: But there are some holes in this right now. It's intriguing,
8:11
Speaker 2: but there are some holes in this. And because of
8:13
Speaker 2: past practices, whether it was who is behind the Devil
8:16
Speaker 2: Mask or are the elite taking over? Aw, there is
8:20
Speaker 2: some optimism and pessimism when it comes to as E
8:24
Speaker 2: as a fan, Should I get really invested into what
8:26
Speaker 2: they're doing right now? Yeah?
8:28
Speaker 3: You actually mentioned a great thing there when you're talking
8:30
Speaker 3: about the nWo and all thats of in the elite
8:33
Speaker 3: and this whole thing with the BCC and the elite.
8:35
Speaker 3: If you remember when the nWo took over, the Horsemen
8:38
Speaker 3: were still there and they were kind of the heel
8:40
Speaker 3: faction and you.
8:42
Speaker 2: Didn't it was them in like the Dungeon of Doom.
8:45
Speaker 3: Yeah, and you didn't know where their allegiance was going
8:48
Speaker 3: to fall, like were they going to side with the
8:51
Speaker 3: NW or are they going to stick out for WCW.
8:52
Speaker 3: That's kind of where we're at with this storyline as well,
8:55
Speaker 3: where where does the elif fall in? But you know
8:58
Speaker 3: it is questionable because I mean, at least when the
9:01
Speaker 3: nWo first kind of came in, there was stinging Luger around,
9:06
Speaker 3: and then you had the Harlem He's so there were
9:07
Speaker 3: still some of the big, the top guys. But this
9:10
Speaker 3: is literally, I mean, I guess you can call Darby
9:14
Speaker 3: Allen a top guy in the company. Think Orange Cassidy's
9:19
Speaker 3: upper mid card, you know, top of the mid card,
9:23
Speaker 3: you know, food chain.
9:24
Speaker 1: Daniel Garcia is up.
9:25
Speaker 3: There a little bit too, But everybody else, I mean,
9:28
Speaker 3: it's like the BCC against aew Dark for the most
9:32
Speaker 3: part here, Yeah, I mean, there's no there's no Rickochet,
9:36
Speaker 3: Like Ricochet has nothing going on.
9:38
Speaker 1: Why is he not involved in this?
9:40
Speaker 2: Well he's going off for Takashka.
9:42
Speaker 3: Okay, But still, like if if darb I mean, if
9:45
Speaker 3: if Daniel Garcia can fight MJF on one side, you know,
9:49
Speaker 3: half heartedly, that fuse kind of a little bit over
9:51
Speaker 3: because we moved MJFF and Cole, but you got Garcia
9:54
Speaker 3: over here. Private party is challenging for tag Belts and
9:57
Speaker 3: they can still be involved in this.
9:59
Speaker 1: Why can't ricks sh they do both sides?
10:01
Speaker 2: You know.
10:01
Speaker 3: Why can't FTR, who's doing nothing, you know, be involved.
10:05
Speaker 3: Why can't the outrunners be involved? Why can't we see
10:07
Speaker 3: some more of these top you know, upper upper mid
10:10
Speaker 3: card moorderline Maine event talents get involved. Now once again,
10:14
Speaker 3: the BCC's only got four people. If you camorn a five,
10:20
Speaker 3: it's five people against the entire roster. That's why it
10:24
Speaker 3: does give you very much early nWo vibes because so
10:28
Speaker 3: far those five people are beating the crap out of everybody.
10:32
Speaker 3: So it does make you a little nervous, but it
10:35
Speaker 3: does have those shades of NW And especially if we
10:37
Speaker 3: get you know, Seae McMahon or Ted Debiossi to show up,
10:41
Speaker 3: then we'll we'll be really right there.
10:43
Speaker 2: I think that's like the thing that to the sea
10:45
Speaker 2: mcman point, Like, that's the thing that I'm really like
10:47
Speaker 2: banking on right now because outside of anything that's going
10:51
Speaker 2: to shock me surprise me, like making a holy crap,
10:53
Speaker 2: I can't believe this happened. This to me is just
10:57
Speaker 2: a solid storyline to help build the next wave of
11:02
Speaker 2: top stars in AW. Obviously, right now the focal point
11:06
Speaker 2: is Orange Cassidy. That is the focal point. It would
11:11
Speaker 2: but I would be under the impression right now that
11:13
Speaker 2: Orange Cassidy is going to be the title contender to
11:16
Speaker 2: John Moxley at full gear in late November. Like, that's
11:19
Speaker 2: the direction things are going. They're working on building Orange,
11:23
Speaker 2: They're working on building Darby Allen, maybe Daniel Garcia. Like
11:26
Speaker 2: that is the point of this storyline. And that's great,
11:29
Speaker 2: and it's it's engaging, but you gotta you gotta do
11:33
Speaker 2: these little things that make me go, man, this is
11:36
Speaker 2: this is intriguing. I think there are some intriguing things
11:40
Speaker 2: about the storyline. The Orange Cassidy. Everybody wants him to
11:45
Speaker 2: be a leader, but he doesn't see himself as a leader.
11:47
Speaker 2: Every time he gets in with the best in the ring,
11:49
Speaker 2: with the BCC, he becomes a changed person. He doesn't
11:51
Speaker 2: really want to do this, but they keep like taking
11:54
Speaker 2: shots at his armor, taking out Chuck Taylor. And you
11:58
Speaker 2: saw his reaction at the end of dynam I thought
12:00
Speaker 2: was really good. I'm a big Orange Cassidy fan and
12:03
Speaker 2: believer in him. The other thing is, and I only
12:07
Speaker 2: noticed this on X the next day, and I did
12:09
Speaker 2: not notice this during the actual viewing of Dynamite when
12:13
Speaker 2: I was watching it on Live on Wednesday night, is
12:17
Speaker 2: as I was more focused on Claudio Wheeler. DA puts
12:21
Speaker 2: the steel chair on Chuck Taylor's ankle, which we all
12:25
Speaker 2: know his careers would presume to be over. He's now
12:28
Speaker 2: working backstage and his ankle is the reason why puts
12:31
Speaker 2: it on the ankle for them to smash it. Claudio
12:33
Speaker 2: takes it out, puts the chair on Chuck Taylor's neck,
12:38
Speaker 2: and Wheeler Youda is going back to this conflicted person.
12:41
Speaker 2: He's like like freaking out a little bit, putting his
12:44
Speaker 2: hands on over his head. They obviously smashed the chair
12:47
Speaker 2: over or close the chair shut. With the stomp on
12:51
Speaker 2: Chuck Taylor injures his neck, and Wheeler da is very,
12:54
Speaker 2: very conflicted, And I wish commentary picked that up a
12:59
Speaker 2: little bit more. I don't know if that is supposedly
13:01
Speaker 2: supposed to or supposed to be an easter egg for
13:03
Speaker 2: us to notice and then discuss and be like, hey,
13:06
Speaker 2: Wheelers not fully on board with all this right now,
13:09
Speaker 2: but they're not. Like I wouldn't notice if it wasn't
13:12
Speaker 2: for X or the next day. I was too focused on, uh,
13:15
Speaker 2: you know, Claudio doing this thing. I did not notice Wheeler.
13:18
Speaker 2: And that is the point where like commentary should potentially
13:21
Speaker 2: say something like, hey, does Wheeler look conflicted right now?
13:25
Speaker 2: Those are some subtleties that that I'm digging right now,
13:27
Speaker 2: Doctor Trey. Outside of that, I like the vignettes. I
13:30
Speaker 2: like the stuff that's starting on Dynamite and Rampage and Collision.
13:33
Speaker 2: I like the weird, crazy music. I like where they're
13:36
Speaker 2: putting them out in the desert and riding in the
13:39
Speaker 2: pickup truck. The riddles of John Moxley. Sometimes they go
13:42
Speaker 2: a little bit too far off the range for my liking.
13:46
Speaker 2: But those are some things that I'm like, Okay, this
13:49
Speaker 2: is good. Can I can I get behind it? I'm
13:52
Speaker 2: still like kind of dangling on my foot above the
13:55
Speaker 2: pool a little bit.
13:57
Speaker 3: Yeah, when you mentioned some of John Moxy's is going
14:00
Speaker 3: off the rails, all I can member is that he'll
14:02
Speaker 3: run when he had the gas mask. Yeah, Like, Okay,
14:05
Speaker 3: there was some meandering ramblings there, and that was again
14:09
Speaker 3: like who else would be a really intriguing higher power
14:12
Speaker 3: for this group? And I'm like, wouldn't be really awesome
14:14
Speaker 3: if they revealed that Renee Puckhead is the person behind
14:17
Speaker 3: this whole takeover?
14:18
Speaker 2: Yeah? It was me, Tony was me all along.
14:21
Speaker 3: It was me all along, Marina, Like Roderick Strong's like
14:24
Speaker 3: right there with his wife now too, you know, but yeah,
14:26
Speaker 3: like I'm enjoying it. I like the way they're shooting
14:30
Speaker 3: some of this stuff. I like some of their placements,
14:33
Speaker 3: Like it's not always right at the beginning, it's not
14:35
Speaker 3: always right at the end, but there's always some kind
14:38
Speaker 3: of impact, which then makes you want to watch the
14:40
Speaker 3: entire show to see when it's going to happen, which
14:43
Speaker 3: is smart on their part. That's one of the things
14:45
Speaker 3: I've knocked them about for the betterment of four and
14:48
Speaker 3: a half years is placement of stuff on the show,
14:52
Speaker 3: because it is a television show at the end of
14:54
Speaker 3: the day. But yeah, the Wheeler stuff, I caught that
14:57
Speaker 3: cause I was like, oh, yeah, I remember Wheeler was
14:58
Speaker 3: in Best Friends, and that's why I think he would
15:02
Speaker 3: be conflicted. But you know, right now you got this
15:06
Speaker 3: is Trent hurt or just not being used right now.
15:12
Speaker 2: We really haven't gotten full yeah.
15:15
Speaker 3: Because we saw this on a Trent and Don Kallis
15:17
Speaker 3: and then Trent disappeared, and I think the question mark
15:19
Speaker 3: meant where is he?
15:20
Speaker 1: We don't know where he went, but to.
15:23
Speaker 3: Me, it's still you're you're needing that next person on
15:28
Speaker 3: the baby face side to get involved. And Swurst tied
15:31
Speaker 3: up with Hurt Syndicate, Slash Business, slash LLC. I don't
15:37
Speaker 3: really know what their name is right now, you know.
15:40
Speaker 3: So you got Osprey and Fletcher tied up. Adam Cole
15:43
Speaker 3: now has this whole United Kingdom uh a disputed Kingdom.
15:49
Speaker 1: The thing, you know, whatever it is with m JF
15:52
Speaker 1: So like.
15:53
Speaker 2: You Yeah, one minute he says I've got to cover
15:55
Speaker 2: the next minute, undisputed Kingdoms.
15:57
Speaker 1: Out the next week, you know.
15:59
Speaker 3: And and Adam Copeland still her the Blackpool Combat Club
16:03
Speaker 3: are not gonna be the house of Blacker if you
16:05
Speaker 3: thought for baby faces buddies calling out Adam Colet so like,
16:09
Speaker 3: I don't really, I mean, it's just you have a heel.
16:12
Speaker 1: Faction and and the purpose of this and you can.
16:15
Speaker 3: Go back to the old, the old uh wwf uh
16:18
Speaker 3: oh what was that show they had where they had
16:20
Speaker 3: the Legends of the Ring.
16:22
Speaker 2: Thing uh at the round Table?
16:24
Speaker 3: Yeah?
16:25
Speaker 1: And National Wrestling Yeah.
16:28
Speaker 3: And but you know, Kevin Nash said the purpose of
16:30
Speaker 3: the nWo was to build baby faces.
16:33
Speaker 1: And that's the.
16:33
Speaker 3: Purpose of any heel group is to build baby faces.
16:37
Speaker 3: And now you have a heel faction that is borderline
16:41
Speaker 3: the cool kids, much like the NBO was but this
16:43
Speaker 3: is your chance to build up baby faces, and they're
16:46
Speaker 3: starting it with you know, their pillars, so to speak.
16:49
Speaker 3: But we also need some meat, we need some of
16:52
Speaker 3: the With the top guys get involved in this, I
16:55
Speaker 3: think that's when you'll see it come to full fruition.
16:57
Speaker 3: But right now, I mean argue, your top five baby
17:02
Speaker 3: faces in the company are off doing other stuff. You know,
17:05
Speaker 3: maybe Darby's exception, but really, I mean when you look
17:08
Speaker 3: at the other the Swerves and the Ospreys and the
17:10
Speaker 3: Ricochets and the O'shay's and the you know whatever, they're
17:15
Speaker 3: all off doing other things and kind of ignoring this
17:18
Speaker 3: whole BCC thing. And then with Jack Perry keeps stopping them,
17:23
Speaker 3: does that somehow put Jack Perry.
17:25
Speaker 1: Into the BCC at some point too?
17:26
Speaker 3: If if he's the one that keeps the elite from
17:28
Speaker 3: getting involved and we find out that maybe it's Jack
17:31
Speaker 3: Perry behind.
17:33
Speaker 2: All of this, oh god, yeah, that would be like
17:35
Speaker 2: my mind would be blown if it was Jack Perry
17:37
Speaker 2: and Shane McMann. It was basically be everything that I
17:41
Speaker 2: don't like. So should it have been? Like I dig
17:45
Speaker 2: that they're trying to establish some new top level talent,
17:49
Speaker 2: and I think the ones that they're identifying here is Orange, Cassidy,
17:52
Speaker 2: Darby Allen, and Daniel Garcia. They want these guys to
17:54
Speaker 2: be elevated from the storyline, and I'm totally down and
17:56
Speaker 2: dig it with that. But I think the one thing
17:58
Speaker 2: that we're having our trouble with, because we keep going
18:00
Speaker 2: going back to it, Doctor Trey, is should they have
18:02
Speaker 2: started this all out with a very well established babyface.
18:07
Speaker 2: You can make a case that that was Brian Danielson.
18:09
Speaker 2: He was put on the shelf, but should have someone
18:12
Speaker 2: else who was more established, whether it be Swert of Strickland, MJF.
18:18
Speaker 2: Jay White, whoever. Should they have been the ones that
18:22
Speaker 2: carried the flag to begin with, and then maybe they
18:25
Speaker 2: passed it down the line to Darby, Orange, Daniel Garcia.
18:29
Speaker 3: See, I think I'm okay with this with the way
18:32
Speaker 3: they've done this so far, because with the start, because
18:35
Speaker 3: of the fact that you know it's Moxley, it's Danielson,
18:40
Speaker 3: you have the Wheeler turn involved there. I'm fine with it.
18:43
Speaker 3: What I didn't like was they didn't really have I mean,
18:47
Speaker 3: you had a little bit of the Darby stuff, a
18:48
Speaker 3: Darby losing the title shot, but like there wasn't anybody
18:52
Speaker 3: really in place to kind of jump it up to
18:55
Speaker 3: the next level. I mean, you literally ended the career
18:58
Speaker 3: of Brian Danielson. That's a pretty big thing, and your
19:01
Speaker 3: follow up is Garcia and then and taking out Chuck
19:05
Speaker 3: Taylor like that feels like a drop off to me.
19:08
Speaker 3: So I felt like they should have built upon it,
19:11
Speaker 3: and instead they kind of it kind of went down
19:13
Speaker 3: a little bit on who they're going after, because going
19:17
Speaker 3: after Danilson is kind of like you know, being uh,
19:20
Speaker 3: you know, your eating your own. It wasn't really like
19:22
Speaker 3: they were taking out an aw guy. They were kind
19:24
Speaker 3: of taking out one of their own guys. So I
19:28
Speaker 3: wish they'd had somebody else in line to take up
19:32
Speaker 3: the flag that was maybe a little higher on the
19:35
Speaker 3: food chain than what we're getting right now. Like to me,
19:37
Speaker 3: this is kind of like, I guess the appetizer before
19:40
Speaker 3: we get to the main course. I just don't want
19:43
Speaker 3: my stuffed kept mushrooms to be too slimy that I
19:46
Speaker 3: don't really I lose my appetite.
19:48
Speaker 2: So speaking of programming, speaking of wanting to keep us
19:51
Speaker 2: locked in on dynamite rampage collision. This is the main
19:54
Speaker 2: storyline of all the wrestling right now? Is it getting
19:57
Speaker 2: us invested, is it keeping us around? And how are
20:01
Speaker 2: they building the rest of the show out? And I
20:03
Speaker 2: think that's kind of a little bit of the concern here.
20:05
Speaker 2: So I look at viewership for AW Dynamite on Wednesday
20:09
Speaker 2: night and it was six hundred and thirty seven thousand
20:13
Speaker 2: viewers tuned into AW Dynamite last night. Eighteen to forty
20:17
Speaker 2: nine age group was at zero point one nine rating
20:21
Speaker 2: NXT the night before seven or and two thousand, so
20:24
Speaker 2: more viewers obviously tuned in overall for NXT the eighteen
20:29
Speaker 2: to forty nine point one six, so a little bit
20:32
Speaker 2: lower than AW Dynamite, but more viewers tuned into NXT,
20:36
Speaker 2: and usually a year ago at this time those numbers
20:38
Speaker 2: and prior to all this were reversed in AW Ninamite
20:42
Speaker 2: was typically like in the eight hundreds. So they've seen
20:44
Speaker 2: a considerable drop off, and they're doing the storyline, they're
20:48
Speaker 2: changing their stuff up, they're giving it a shot. I'm
20:51
Speaker 2: noticing that they're acknowledging that the current climate of all
20:55
Speaker 2: lee wrestling is not good. There are plenty of photos
20:59
Speaker 2: in social media that notice at any point where it's
21:03
Speaker 2: the building is half full. I saw, I saw a
21:06
Speaker 2: picture from and video of last night's AW Dynamite, and
21:10
Speaker 2: I mean it wasn't it wasn't even like three quarters full.
21:13
Speaker 2: I mean it was really really bad. They were very,
21:16
Speaker 2: very scattered all over the place. People are pointing out
21:18
Speaker 2: the Adam Cole, mjf rogerck Strong segment where there was
21:22
Speaker 2: like a lack of reaction at the end of it,
21:25
Speaker 2: and they are absolutely right. You could have heard a
21:26
Speaker 2: pin drop in that that is concerning AW is pushing
21:31
Speaker 2: tickets for upcoming events during their show a lot more
21:34
Speaker 2: or at least a lot more noticeable than I could
21:37
Speaker 2: ever remember prior to that. It would just be like,
21:39
Speaker 2: you know, we have some upcoming events on AW tick
21:41
Speaker 2: ticks dot com. Go down below and you could scan
21:44
Speaker 2: the QR code and join us. In a couple of
21:46
Speaker 2: weeks now they're running like thirty second spots on Dynamite
21:50
Speaker 2: Collision Rampage to tune in, and you're also noticing that
21:53
Speaker 2: they're promoting upcoming match and for future matches for future
21:56
Speaker 2: Dynamites Rampages Collision. The amount of times I heard about
21:59
Speaker 2: Shelton Benjamin Versus of strigling a week from tonight on
22:03
Speaker 2: Friday Night Dynamite. I think they added another match as well,
22:07
Speaker 2: Private Party in Young Bucks, which I like. That's well good.
22:10
Speaker 2: That goes back to like the old days of AW.
22:12
Speaker 2: They're promoting matches two weeks out. I think first Atlanta
22:15
Speaker 2: Morra and Mercedes Monett or No Camill is going to
22:19
Speaker 2: take place in a couple weeks, Mariah May and Anna Ja.
22:23
Speaker 2: It's got to take place in a couple of weeks.
22:25
Speaker 2: So they're really doing this. They're acknowledging this from a
22:27
Speaker 2: storyline standpoint, they're acknowledging this from a promotion standpoint. Is
22:31
Speaker 2: it desperate, Doctor Trey or do we applaud them for
22:36
Speaker 2: doing this?
22:38
Speaker 1: See?
22:38
Speaker 3: I applauded for this because that's something else that we
22:40
Speaker 3: had brought up like a month ago, was the promotion,
22:44
Speaker 3: Like you don't see the AAW guys out on any
22:47
Speaker 3: of the mainstream media stuff. You don't really see other
22:50
Speaker 3: than the occasional Facebook posts about upcoming shows, like you have.
22:54
Speaker 1: To go to the website.
22:55
Speaker 3: Most wrestling fans, I hate to say this is going
22:57
Speaker 3: to sound crass, but are kind of lazy. Just let
23:00
Speaker 3: me know when you're gonna be in my town at
23:03
Speaker 3: some point where I don't have to go to I
23:05
Speaker 3: don't have to go on your website and search when
23:08
Speaker 3: you're gonna be in my area.
23:09
Speaker 1: Let me know when the upcoming shows are.
23:10
Speaker 3: That was always a staple of w CW, Nitro and
23:13
Speaker 3: even WW back in the day, was Hey, next week,
23:16
Speaker 3: we're gonna be here. In two weeks, we're gonna be here,
23:18
Speaker 3: in three weeks, we're gonna be here. Tickets are still
23:20
Speaker 3: on sale, and you'd be like, oh crap, this show's
23:22
Speaker 3: been pretty good.
23:23
Speaker 1: I'd like to go check it out in person.
23:25
Speaker 3: You know, you kind of got to hit a lot
23:27
Speaker 3: of wrestling fans over the head with information, like, you know,
23:32
Speaker 3: the diehards, Yeah, the ones who watch being the elite
23:35
Speaker 3: and we're watching Dark and you know everything else, and
23:38
Speaker 3: the ones that's stuck around have stuck around for rampage,
23:41
Speaker 3: Like those people are always going to be in the note.
23:43
Speaker 3: But your casual fans just kind of want it laid
23:46
Speaker 3: out in front of them, simple and easy when you're
23:48
Speaker 3: gonna be out there. I think it's a good move
23:50
Speaker 3: on their part, because, hey, if you're telling me Swerve
23:53
Speaker 3: and Shelton's and you know, next week, do we get
23:56
Speaker 3: the debut of Bobby Lashley also liked, might have to
23:58
Speaker 3: tune in to see that. If you're a Chris Statlander
24:02
Speaker 3: fan or a Camille fan, and you know that they're
24:05
Speaker 3: gonna be going in.
24:06
Speaker 1: Those are two big, strong women fighting it out. Hey,
24:09
Speaker 1: i'mot to check that out.
24:09
Speaker 3: So I think it's smart on their part to announce
24:13
Speaker 3: stuff like that, you know, Anna Jay and Mariah May. Hey,
24:15
Speaker 3: I think I may I might even sit by the
24:17
Speaker 3: bay and.
24:18
Speaker 1: Watch this play.
24:20
Speaker 3: These are all good things for them on the marketing
24:23
Speaker 3: end to kind of put it out there instead of
24:26
Speaker 3: just you know, waiting around. I mean, we still see
24:29
Speaker 3: raw do that Like, Hey, next week, we're gonna you know,
24:31
Speaker 3: during the show next week, you and I head to
24:34
Speaker 3: head toe to toe. You know, stuff like that that's intrigued.
24:37
Speaker 3: It's creating that hook to keep the viewership around and
24:40
Speaker 3: have them coming back for more.
24:42
Speaker 2: So I like what they're doing. I like that they're trying.
24:45
Speaker 2: The one thing that I noticed on this past week
24:49
Speaker 2: loop of when we last spoke about aw programming, Doctor Trey,
24:53
Speaker 2: is if you want me to tune into your show,
24:56
Speaker 2: and you want me to be invested, if you want
24:58
Speaker 2: me to pay my hard earned money to sit down
25:01
Speaker 2: in your show. When you come into my town and
25:03
Speaker 2: support aaw you cannot run multiple matches with jobbers like
25:09
Speaker 2: you just can't. I'm pretty sure. And everything kind of
25:12
Speaker 2: blends together when it comes to a W programming, which
25:14
Speaker 2: sometimes is not a good thing. Brian Cage and Lance
25:21
Speaker 2: Archer had a tag team match against two jobbers. The
25:25
Speaker 2: House of Black had a trios match against three jobbers.
25:29
Speaker 2: There is nothing outside of the Action Andretti Christ Jericho
25:33
Speaker 2: match that makes me ever think that I want to
25:35
Speaker 2: sit down and tune in and watch the House of
25:37
Speaker 2: Black destroy three job jobbers or Brian Cage and Lance
25:42
Speaker 2: Archer beat up two jobbers like that to me does
25:45
Speaker 2: not do anything for me. There's other talent on the roster,
25:49
Speaker 2: and maybe they're doing this doctor Tree because of the
25:51
Speaker 2: babyfacenario with the BCC angle that can be better utilized
25:57
Speaker 2: in the spot like make it worth my time, make
25:59
Speaker 2: it worth my my interest. Do you want to do
26:01
Speaker 2: a jobber match here and there? Fine, but to do
26:04
Speaker 2: it on Rampage, Collision and Dynamite This past week multiple times,
26:09
Speaker 2: I'm like you, what are they doing? I mean, they
26:11
Speaker 2: have a roster of one hundred and fifty people. Why
26:14
Speaker 2: am I getting this jobber match? And especially with a
26:17
Speaker 2: tendance down and viewership down, that to me in twenty
26:21
Speaker 2: twenty four doesn't make sense. And you and I grew
26:23
Speaker 2: up on nothing but jobber matches on television, and we
26:26
Speaker 2: may disagree on this, but I'm like, at this point
26:29
Speaker 2: when I watch Raw, NXT and SmackDown, there is value
26:33
Speaker 2: to nearly every single match that takes place on one
26:36
Speaker 2: of those three shows in WWA, and that is amazing
26:40
Speaker 2: and hard to come by. And why is an AW
26:44
Speaker 2: doing the same thing? So that is a problem that
26:47
Speaker 2: I've had with AW programming as of land. I'm like,
26:49
Speaker 2: why are they doing all these jobber matches knowing viewership
26:51
Speaker 2: and ticket sales are down?
26:54
Speaker 3: Sorry, my wife's laughing. I think we just invented the
26:58
Speaker 3: first drinking game. One answer to you, I think you
26:59
Speaker 3: say jobber like twelve times perfect.
27:02
Speaker 2: Perfect.
27:03
Speaker 3: So now we have a jobb or drinking game. So
27:05
Speaker 3: anytime we throw out the word jobber, take a.
27:07
Speaker 2: Drink, ye chop squad, does that count.
27:10
Speaker 1: A little bit?
27:11
Speaker 3: Uh So when it came to those squash matches, see
27:15
Speaker 3: I went in there when squashed out jobber, I didn't
27:18
Speaker 3: mind the archer Cage one because that was one of
27:21
Speaker 3: the I mean, they're they're gonna try to build them
27:23
Speaker 3: up as a tag team, so you got to try
27:25
Speaker 3: to show them just doing like crazy ridiculous power moves
27:28
Speaker 3: to get fans going, oh crap, that these guys should
27:31
Speaker 3: be pretty cool. House of Black though, Like we don't
27:35
Speaker 3: need a trio It was a trios match against three
27:39
Speaker 3: no names to lead to a Buddy Murphy singles match.
27:42
Speaker 3: Makes no sense there if that worst case there, put
27:44
Speaker 3: Buddy Murphy and getting in Leo Russian there and let
27:46
Speaker 3: Buddy Murphy beat Leo Russia then challenge Adam Cole to
27:50
Speaker 3: have them do a jobber match like that, like doesn't
27:54
Speaker 3: make sense to me. It's just kind of a waste
27:55
Speaker 3: of time. We're just have Buddy Murphy come out and
27:57
Speaker 3: call out Adam Cole backstage somewhere. It's kind of a
28:00
Speaker 3: waste of time. Like I get it if you're trying
28:03
Speaker 3: to establish something new for a kind of a new
28:06
Speaker 3: character or a new team or something like that, But
28:09
Speaker 3: what's this established team and they've been around your show
28:13
Speaker 3: for two three years.
28:15
Speaker 1: It's it's it's just.
28:16
Speaker 3: Complete waste and those that's when you get frustrated. Like
28:19
Speaker 3: Raw will have them occasionally, but if they do it,
28:22
Speaker 3: it's because they're trying to build up a new character,
28:25
Speaker 3: new team something like that. You know, think when bron
28:28
Speaker 3: Breaker debut or when you know, Goother or came to
28:31
Speaker 3: the main roster, some of those guys, you know, it's like, oh,
28:34
Speaker 3: we're having them beat up some note name guys and
28:36
Speaker 3: some Kira tizauas of the world, So going to kind
28:39
Speaker 3: of get them over, Like that's that's what the bottom
28:41
Speaker 3: of your roster is for, is to be the filler
28:44
Speaker 3: to sell their ass off for the big monsters, to
28:47
Speaker 3: make them look even more impressive. So it's to me,
28:50
Speaker 3: it's just like it's almost like when they do some
28:52
Speaker 3: that like that. The House of Black one really pissed
28:55
Speaker 3: me off because I'm like, did somebody like not make
28:57
Speaker 3: it to the venue in time and we just had
28:59
Speaker 3: three guys and catering. We're like, hey, you guys got
29:01
Speaker 3: there and fight House of Black real quick.
29:03
Speaker 1: Uh.
29:04
Speaker 3: It just it just doesn't make sense to me for
29:05
Speaker 3: those guys Archer and Cage or as I saw Shane
29:09
Speaker 3: Helms call them on Twitter, Cage against the Machine, which
29:14
Speaker 3: I actually dug that name. I didn't mind that one,
29:17
Speaker 3: but House that House of Black one was just just
29:19
Speaker 3: ridiculous and there's no need for it.
29:22
Speaker 2: You know what's wild is that AW was the ones
29:25
Speaker 2: that put so much thought and effort from one show
29:27
Speaker 2: to another back when it was just dynamite, And maybe
29:29
Speaker 2: that's the case here. Do you think AW is just
29:32
Speaker 2: overall creatively exhausted, Doctor Trey?
29:36
Speaker 3: I think they have kind of spread themselves too thin
29:40
Speaker 3: where there's not.
29:43
Speaker 1: Kind of a direct building program.
29:45
Speaker 3: You know, you see in w W you have NXC,
29:48
Speaker 3: the guys get built at NXT, they come to the
29:49
Speaker 3: main roster, they get a chance to establish themselves, see
29:52
Speaker 3: if they're if they can get over. If they can, great,
29:55
Speaker 3: we're gonna keep pushing you. If they can't get over, okay,
29:57
Speaker 3: down to the you know, kind of the middle to
29:58
Speaker 3: the bottom of the roster. There's not really like a
30:02
Speaker 3: set roadmap for AW establishing talent. And then plus, when
30:07
Speaker 3: you're putting guys on two and three different shows a week,
30:12
Speaker 3: you're going to run out of stuff for them to
30:14
Speaker 3: do a times that you know makes sense and keeps
30:17
Speaker 3: the creative fresh. Otherwise it's just you get kind of
30:20
Speaker 3: burned out, Like Okay, well, House of Black has been
30:23
Speaker 3: all over the map, you know, in their time on
30:26
Speaker 3: the roster, they've been healed, they've been babyfaces. You had
30:28
Speaker 3: the great stuff with you know, Anna Jay and oh
30:33
Speaker 3: what's her name?
30:35
Speaker 1: Sky sky Blue?
30:36
Speaker 3: That was that was some fun stuff, you know, not
30:38
Speaker 3: Hannah Ja, it was sky Blue and Julia Hart.
30:42
Speaker 1: Julia Hart.
30:42
Speaker 3: Yeah, they have some great stuff there and then they
30:45
Speaker 3: kind of it's kind of falling off the map. And
30:46
Speaker 3: then you see one week you see Brody King fighting
30:48
Speaker 3: with Darby Allen and and shaking hands with him. But
30:51
Speaker 3: then you know, Buddy Matthews and they comes down and
30:54
Speaker 3: calls it Adam Cole, who's another baby face? Like, I
30:58
Speaker 3: don't think they have a set game plan all the time.
31:00
Speaker 3: Where I think that's where WWE is always ahead of them,
31:03
Speaker 3: is that there's always a plan in place for stuff.
31:06
Speaker 1: I think AAW's lacking in that foresight.
31:09
Speaker 2: If you told us a month ago that Chris Stallion
31:11
Speaker 2: or Adam Cole would be babyfaces on the AW roster,
31:14
Speaker 2: I think we would have like been like, you're crazy.
31:17
Speaker 2: But that's the world that we live in right now.
31:19
Speaker 2: The amount of back and forth on babyface to heal,
31:23
Speaker 2: Heal the babyface and no rhyme nor reason anymore. It's
31:27
Speaker 2: like this really hokey, herky jerky type of creative. It's
31:32
Speaker 2: been bad for aw really, it really has been bad.
31:36
Speaker 2: And I like that they're acknowledging some things, but that's
31:40
Speaker 2: like one thing you need to tighten up. There is
31:43
Speaker 2: pleased and do not have any more squash matches on
31:48
Speaker 2: your programming, Tony Kahn, sincerely, Jeff and Doctor Trey speaking
31:54
Speaker 2: of storylines that are progressing rather well. Doctor Trey is
31:58
Speaker 2: on SmackDown right now. Also carried It's over to Raw
32:01
Speaker 2: on Monday. I wrote down this note after watching SmackDown
32:05
Speaker 2: where I was like, Okay, I want to talk about
32:07
Speaker 2: this on the show because as of right now it's
32:10
Speaker 2: not making sense. And then Monday happen, I'm like, oh,
32:14
Speaker 2: it's starting to make sense. I was going to sit
32:17
Speaker 2: here and ask you does the Roman reigns Jimmy Uso
32:20
Speaker 2: storyline with jay Uso make sense so far? And I
32:23
Speaker 2: thought coming out of SmackDown really didn't because why would
32:28
Speaker 2: jay Uso listen to his brother after they had a
32:32
Speaker 2: few rustle Mania match Why would he give him the
32:36
Speaker 2: time of day? And they have that backstage vignette with
32:39
Speaker 2: Jimmy and Roman arriving to the arena where Jay smiles
32:43
Speaker 2: at his brother, turns to Roman and straight face and
32:46
Speaker 2: then Roman says, you know, we're all proud of you,
32:48
Speaker 2: and you know, Jay says, no yeat and then walks away.
32:52
Speaker 2: And he had a great segment with Solosaka to start
32:54
Speaker 2: on the show, but it was like, why is Jay
32:58
Speaker 2: involved at any point right now? Then you fast forward
33:01
Speaker 2: to Monday and the New blood Line costs Jay Usa
33:03
Speaker 2: the Intercontinental Championship, with bron Breaker now retaining that championship
33:07
Speaker 2: for a second reign, and I'm like, oh, We're We're
33:10
Speaker 2: getting somewhere right now. So I have answered my own
33:14
Speaker 2: question here based on what we're seeing, but I want
33:17
Speaker 2: to get your thoughts on this. From what we've seen
33:19
Speaker 2: right now with Roman reigns, Jay Uso and Jimmy Usso,
33:22
Speaker 2: is the storyline that is building towards some sort of
33:25
Speaker 2: rekindling reunion of the original blood line to take on
33:29
Speaker 2: the new blood line? Is it making sense so far
33:32
Speaker 2: based on everything that got Jay Uso away from the
33:35
Speaker 2: old blood line.
33:37
Speaker 3: For me, not really, because I got the stuff on
33:41
Speaker 3: SmackDown made sense to me, Like he.
33:43
Speaker 1: Didn't really want to interact with his brother, you know
33:45
Speaker 1: that much. He didn't want to be a part of it.
33:47
Speaker 3: I didn't even understand why he was on the show
33:49
Speaker 3: because he's the Interconinal champion on Raw, so why is
33:52
Speaker 3: he on SmackDown?
33:52
Speaker 1: So that bothered me.
33:55
Speaker 3: The Solo stuff, I was like, Okay, I mean everybody
33:58
Speaker 3: points out Jimmy and Jay are twin, but Solo is
34:00
Speaker 3: his little brother. So I mean I could get why
34:04
Speaker 3: he'd be torn, but then to come back on Raw
34:07
Speaker 3: and have the new bloodline costs in the arcndent title
34:10
Speaker 3: and that be the reason why he decides to join
34:13
Speaker 3: back up with Rome and Jimmy doesn't make any sense
34:16
Speaker 3: to me because then that means to me, the Intercontinental
34:19
Speaker 3: title is more important to him than anybody in his family.
34:23
Speaker 3: So I'm a little just off centered here with this,
34:28
Speaker 3: Like it just doesn't make a ton of sense to me.
34:31
Speaker 3: For Jaden, Now go, yeah, you know what they caused
34:34
Speaker 3: me an oc intercondinalent title, so I'm back with you guys,
34:37
Speaker 3: Like that just doesn't seem like a thing somebody would
34:41
Speaker 3: do for family. You know, if he could say, if
34:45
Speaker 3: he comes out and says, look, I'll help you guys,
34:47
Speaker 3: because I owe them, but don't forget I owe you guys. Also,
34:50
Speaker 3: if he does it like that, that'll hook.
34:53
Speaker 1: Me a little bit better.
34:53
Speaker 3: But if he just, you know, pretends like all is forgiven,
34:56
Speaker 3: then I'm gonna have an issue with it.
34:58
Speaker 2: So I get your points. And I think that this
35:01
Speaker 2: is like the first storyline in WI in sometime where
35:04
Speaker 2: there's a little bit of criticism that can go its
35:07
Speaker 2: way because of the things that you're saying, because there
35:11
Speaker 2: is part of me that's like, okay, I could see
35:13
Speaker 2: it making sense, but there's part of me that's going,
35:16
Speaker 2: why does Jay Uson want to integrate himself in this
35:19
Speaker 2: entire thing? Like what's it matter to him? I would
35:23
Speaker 2: have liked to see in a little bit of a
35:24
Speaker 2: deeper build going to it. And I think I'm coming
35:27
Speaker 2: from the position Doctor Tray. Today is October twenty fourth.
35:31
Speaker 2: I'm thinking that this is leading towards wargames in about
35:34
Speaker 2: a month's time. We've talked about this for some time,
35:35
Speaker 2: and maybe I would have liked to seen a bit
35:37
Speaker 2: of a little bit of a longer stretch here. Friday
35:40
Speaker 2: SmackDown will be intriguing. If Roman Jimmy and Jay and
35:43
Speaker 2: the new Bloodline are all there to see if this
35:45
Speaker 2: carries forward again. If there is no pickup on SmackDown,
35:49
Speaker 2: that'll be disappointing because okay, what was the point of Monday.
35:52
Speaker 2: I tend to believe that there will be. I don't
35:56
Speaker 2: know if they have enough time to try to convince
35:59
Speaker 2: it one right now dot true, because I can't theoretically
36:03
Speaker 2: think of a situation where I'm like, Okay, they got
36:07
Speaker 2: me on this one, they got me on the Union.
36:10
Speaker 2: I'm pumped, I'm psyched. This makes sense other than like,
36:14
Speaker 2: and this is gonna sound so extremely lame, but I
36:17
Speaker 2: guess Jimmy and Roman need to almost apologize to Jay
36:22
Speaker 2: or maybe this brings back Paul Hayman. There has to
36:26
Speaker 2: be some sort of acknowledgment that what took place previously
36:31
Speaker 2: was a mistake. They made a mistake, and at the
36:33
Speaker 2: end of the day, they're bonded by blood and they're
36:35
Speaker 2: the original bloodline and they need to defend their families honor. Like,
36:39
Speaker 2: I don't know if what I'm positioning you can get
36:41
Speaker 2: us there. But this is some a little bit of
36:44
Speaker 2: uncharted waters for WWE right now, because they've got a
36:47
Speaker 2: storyline that fans can really you know, like you and
36:50
Speaker 2: I criticize basically, so.
36:54
Speaker 3: I got a little bit a fancy booking idea that might.
36:58
Speaker 2: Let me ask you you have a jobber involved?
37:02
Speaker 1: Uh kind of.
37:04
Speaker 3: He did lose recently, so SmackDown comes out new blood
37:09
Speaker 3: lines in the ring. Jay comes out by himself basically, hey,
37:14
Speaker 3: you guys, coustmond your cons I don't I want some
37:17
Speaker 3: revenge you know, I want to fight youah blah blah blah.
37:21
Speaker 3: They'll basically say, hey, you know me and you know Solo,
37:24
Speaker 3: me and Jacob or you me and Jacob Fato against
37:26
Speaker 3: you and whoever you want to bring whoever you want
37:29
Speaker 3: to be your partner, thinking that's gonna be Jimmy, think
37:31
Speaker 3: it's gonna be Roman. Whatever goes backstage, Jimmy approaches him,
37:36
Speaker 3: Jay's like, no, I don't need your help.
37:37
Speaker 1: I got this.
37:38
Speaker 3: I don't trust you guys that his mystery partner, Sammy's ain't.
37:42
Speaker 3: So he gets Sammy and Jay against Solo and Jacob,
37:46
Speaker 3: and then Sammy becomes the voice of reason and tells Jay, look,
37:49
Speaker 3: at the end of the day, those two guys are
37:52
Speaker 3: your family.
37:53
Speaker 1: We need to patch this up.
37:55
Speaker 3: And then that you kind of go from there where
37:57
Speaker 3: it's Sammy and Jimmy or see me Sammy and Jay
38:01
Speaker 3: kind of aligning with them early on, like kind of
38:05
Speaker 3: rekilling the alignment with them, because Sammy's the voice of reason.
38:08
Speaker 3: Sammy's the one who I mean, seriously, how many times
38:10
Speaker 3: has Ko turned against him over the years and Sammy
38:12
Speaker 3: Dewai always ends up forgiving him. So Sammy would be
38:14
Speaker 3: the one to kind of pull all this back together
38:18
Speaker 3: as the voice of reason because you know, he's still
38:22
Speaker 3: the honorary OOZ true.
38:24
Speaker 2: That is true. So I like it. I like that
38:27
Speaker 2: there's some fantasy booking involved there. It's strange because this
38:32
Speaker 2: is the Bloodline storyline has been so good, right Doctor Trey,
38:36
Speaker 2: that the split that took place, whether it be Sammy,
38:40
Speaker 2: whether it be Jay, Jay and Roman and Jimmy and
38:43
Speaker 2: all this stuff, it made always made a ton of
38:45
Speaker 2: sense getting them all back together, even when take back
38:48
Speaker 2: one like Jimmy was the one that convinced Jay to
38:51
Speaker 2: turn on the Bloodline and then Jimmy turned on Jay
38:53
Speaker 2: and reunited with the blood Line. That was a part
38:56
Speaker 2: of the Bloodline storyline that never really made a lot
38:59
Speaker 2: of sense. And I think every time that there is
39:02
Speaker 2: a rekindling or reunion. The fans will want to see it.
39:05
Speaker 2: They will pop, they will go absolutely crazy. But from
39:08
Speaker 2: a storyline perspective, I think we sometimes creatively puts themselves
39:12
Speaker 2: in a corner where it's a little bit tough coming out.
39:14
Speaker 3: Of Yeah, I mean, but at the end of the day,
39:18
Speaker 3: like for us, nostalgic kind of wins out in the
39:23
Speaker 3: sense of we want those We want see those four
39:25
Speaker 3: guys back together at some points, so we'll suspend our
39:29
Speaker 3: disbelief on the story just for the sake of the
39:32
Speaker 3: good that comes out.
39:33
Speaker 1: I mean, you know that.
39:34
Speaker 2: What you just said reminds me of I hate to
39:36
Speaker 2: cut you off. Go ahead, because I just saw this
39:38
Speaker 2: recently online. I don't know if it was like an
39:40
Speaker 2: anniversary of the moment or something like that, but from
39:43
Speaker 2: like two thousand and two to two thousand and five,
39:46
Speaker 2: Triple H and HBK had feuds back and forth over time.
39:51
Speaker 2: On Monday Night Raw in two thousand and six, they
39:55
Speaker 2: reunited as Degeneration X, and everybody didn't give a shit.
39:58
Speaker 2: They didn't blink an eye because they wanted se DX reunited.
40:01
Speaker 2: That's what this reminds me of. For what the example
40:03
Speaker 2: you're trying to say were where it's like, yeah, we
40:05
Speaker 2: forget all that. I love the nostalgic act.
40:08
Speaker 3: Yeah, I mean, but they I think they kind of
40:10
Speaker 3: reunited over their common enemy. Yeah, common enemy. And you
40:14
Speaker 3: could kind of do the same thing here where the
40:15
Speaker 3: enemy of my enemy is my friend, where Jay is
40:19
Speaker 3: now an enemy of Solo, Roman and Jimmy are an
40:22
Speaker 3: enemy of Solo. So you know, you kind of put
40:25
Speaker 3: that in the riverw I mean, we saw that with
40:26
Speaker 3: the nWo. We were front NW a lot with the BCC,
40:29
Speaker 3: But how many times do we see you know, the
40:32
Speaker 3: giants get kicked out and then rejoined.
40:34
Speaker 1: I mean Randy.
40:36
Speaker 3: Savage got turned on a bash at the beach and
40:39
Speaker 3: never once came after really came after the nWo afterwards,
40:43
Speaker 3: and just all of a sudden, he's like, huh, yeah,
40:44
Speaker 3: I'm I'm team Hollywood.
40:46
Speaker 1: That's fine.
40:47
Speaker 3: You know the finger Poke of Doom reunited wolf Pack
40:51
Speaker 3: in Hollywood. Yeah, I mean, we've but it was for
40:54
Speaker 3: the sake of like, oh yeah, let's put the band
40:56
Speaker 3: back together, so to speak. So we will suspend commons
41:00
Speaker 3: and storytelling at times if it makes us feel.
41:02
Speaker 1: Better about what we're seeing on TV.
41:04
Speaker 3: So if you end up with Sammy and Jay against
41:09
Speaker 3: say Toma, Tonga and Togolo for the SmackDown titles, and
41:12
Speaker 3: you got Jimmy and Roman and Solo and Jacob going
41:15
Speaker 3: at it. Well, then the four of those guys and
41:17
Speaker 3: the four of those other guys they should all hate
41:19
Speaker 3: each other and it kind of blends together, so there
41:21
Speaker 3: are ways of kind of patchworking it. And then once
41:25
Speaker 3: you get to war games, I mean, once again, the
41:28
Speaker 3: ultimate trump card that nobody's referenced, Solo takes out Rakishi,
41:34
Speaker 3: which then puts Jimmy and Jay back together to go
41:36
Speaker 3: after the little brother for taking out their dad.
41:38
Speaker 2: That would be interesting, That would be interesting.
41:40
Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, yeah, tries me to peace maker between three boys.
41:45
Speaker 1: And he did it for the Rock, Yeah, exactly.
41:48
Speaker 2: Solo did it for the Rock, the Rock's final boss yep,
41:52
Speaker 2: when he asked, why did you take out dad? I
41:54
Speaker 2: did it for the Rock. That would be actually.
41:56
Speaker 3: Money really for us, for us old guys, we would
41:59
Speaker 3: all get it. The younger fans will be like, what, huh.
42:03
Speaker 2: Did it for the Rock? You don't the entire thing
42:06
Speaker 2: that as we're talking about this, something that just came
42:09
Speaker 2: to my mind here is, you know, adding Jay adding
42:13
Speaker 2: Sammy into the storyline. The thing that we're tending to
42:17
Speaker 2: forget here is they don't they don't need this, Like
42:21
Speaker 2: this is kind of beneath them. They're they're big stars
42:23
Speaker 2: right now. Like is it a step back for Jay
42:27
Speaker 2: and Sammy. Let's just talk about Jay because we don't
42:29
Speaker 2: know about Samy, But is it a step back for
42:32
Speaker 2: Jay to be involved in a storyline like this?
42:37
Speaker 1: Character wise?
42:39
Speaker 3: Probably a little bit, because I don't know if the
42:43
Speaker 3: New I can't I haven't really been able to gauge,
42:47
Speaker 3: like we knew when the og bloodline was over with
42:49
Speaker 3: the fans, like we knew, like they're like the fans.
42:52
Speaker 3: Everybody hated them, but they're still throw up the ones
42:55
Speaker 3: you know you're over. Then, I don't know if people
42:59
Speaker 3: look at the New bloodline and you can say they're
43:02
Speaker 3: over with the audience like I think people I don't
43:06
Speaker 3: know if people are if Solo's actually over with the
43:09
Speaker 3: crowd has the top villain on the show. I think
43:13
Speaker 3: people are fascinated by Jacob Fatu, which then makes it
43:16
Speaker 3: hard to boo him because the dudes of freak athletes
43:20
Speaker 3: and then Toma Tonga and Togoloa like for diehard fans. Yeah,
43:25
Speaker 3: we know who the Girls and Destiny are. We know
43:26
Speaker 3: what a great tag team they are. Does the WWE
43:30
Speaker 3: audience understand what they have? I don't know if that
43:34
Speaker 3: group is perceived on the same level as equal opposition
43:39
Speaker 3: to it a reunited og bloodline would be, or even
43:42
Speaker 3: Jay Uso on that level, because Jay, we know is
43:45
Speaker 3: super of the fans because I mean, hell yea shirts
43:47
Speaker 3: are like the number one or number two sellers on
43:50
Speaker 3: WWE right now.
43:51
Speaker 1: It's crazy.
43:51
Speaker 3: So it probably is a step backwards, but for the
43:56
Speaker 3: sake of elevating family, I think it's the right move
43:59
Speaker 3: for him.
44:01
Speaker 2: Interesting. Interesting what storyline are you digging right now? The
44:04
Speaker 2: most of professional wrestling.
44:09
Speaker 3: Probably BCC just because the mystery involved as to who
44:12
Speaker 3: the person is behind it.
44:14
Speaker 2: Well, that's what we're assuming, right Yeah.
44:16
Speaker 3: And then well, I mean he's still his his that's
44:19
Speaker 3: our hope.
44:20
Speaker 1: That's our hope. Uh.
44:22
Speaker 3: And then he does have vague allusions to something somebody
44:25
Speaker 3: else being involved.
44:28
Speaker 2: Does he I can't tell? Sometimes with mox like, what
44:33
Speaker 2: what the hell did he say? I mean, he's making
44:35
Speaker 2: Lord love him and God rest his soul, is making
44:37
Speaker 2: some of the Brave White Stuff look sound like something
44:39
Speaker 2: I could follow.
44:41
Speaker 3: I am intrigued now by by the way, you mentioned that,
44:44
Speaker 3: I am intrigued by saying Final Testament why six.
44:47
Speaker 2: Yeah, I'm happy they're back on TV.
44:49
Speaker 3: Miss and Miss being a darker version of Miss, Like
44:53
Speaker 3: it's kind of a weird thing. But I'm like, we've
44:56
Speaker 3: never seen Mis go like but horror Hollywood.
44:59
Speaker 2: But that and Xavier Wood stuff is really good.
45:03
Speaker 1: Yeah, I mean it.
45:04
Speaker 3: Plus i mean how cool, like like when our Truth
45:06
Speaker 3: by the way, I know we're kind of ex side step,
45:08
Speaker 3: is our Truth coming out to help out the New Day.
45:10
Speaker 3: I'm like, why have we ever seen our Truth with
45:13
Speaker 3: the New Day? Like that just seems like a match
45:16
Speaker 3: made in Heaven to put those guys together, because the
45:19
Speaker 3: comedy from those guys will be great. But this new
45:22
Speaker 3: dark Exavier Woods is still a cool twist. But yeah,
45:28
Speaker 3: I'm really I just want Carrying Cross. I'm a big
45:31
Speaker 3: Carrying Cross fan. I'm just wanting to see something good
45:34
Speaker 3: for Carrying Cross. You know, like he really has anything,
45:36
Speaker 3: had anything really good. He had the Strap few, the
45:39
Speaker 3: Strap match with Drew McIntyre when he first came back.
45:42
Speaker 3: Outside of that, the NXT run and really nothing else
45:45
Speaker 3: has been really aviodated. But I love cultish type characters,
45:51
Speaker 3: so I'm on board with this.
45:53
Speaker 2: I thought you you were all on board with the
45:55
Speaker 2: Gladiator costume carrying cross at one.
45:57
Speaker 3: Time, only because I was hoping for a wardrobe malfunction
46:01
Speaker 3: from him or Scarlett.
46:02
Speaker 2: Interesting, fair enough, fair enough for me. It's it's the
46:05
Speaker 2: Kevin Owen stuff. But that's I mean, that's easy. I'm
46:08
Speaker 2: I'm like, Okay, where is this going. The Kevin Owens,
46:10
Speaker 2: Cody Roads, Randy Orton stuff right now, I think is
46:13
Speaker 2: really good. And that's an offshoot of the stuff that
46:15
Speaker 2: took place with the Bloodline. I'm like, this is a
46:18
Speaker 2: little bit more modern day. We're really well thought out,
46:20
Speaker 2: and I like how it's playing on television right now.
46:22
Speaker 2: So that's that's mine. But that's probably because I'm a
46:25
Speaker 2: huge Kevin Owens fan.
46:27
Speaker 3: Wait, I was, as I was gonna ask you a
46:28
Speaker 3: question by this, who does Randy who do we see
46:30
Speaker 3: Randy Orton talk to on SmackDown this week to get
46:32
Speaker 3: the Magic.
46:33
Speaker 2: Crown jewel against Kevin Owens.
46:36
Speaker 1: Yeah, because Nick All just said it's above me.
46:40
Speaker 2: That's what he's talking about, right.
46:42
Speaker 1: Yeah, that's what everybody thinks.
46:44
Speaker 2: But who do you think you talk to, Sean Michaels.
46:47
Speaker 1: I don't know.
46:48
Speaker 3: That's the thing is like, do we see Triple H
46:50
Speaker 3: on SmackDown and a Triple Ah Randy orton segments?
46:54
Speaker 2: Yeah, I think yeah, that would be that would make sense.
46:58
Speaker 2: I think that's who they were alluding to. It would
46:59
Speaker 2: be really funny if it like, hey, can I have
47:01
Speaker 2: this match and they like the camera pans and it's
47:05
Speaker 2: it's it's I don't know, the returning Reggie or something.
47:09
Speaker 1: They it's it's ak he goes to Stephanie instead.
47:14
Speaker 2: M Yeah, they have they have a history. But I
47:16
Speaker 2: thought that was I thought that basically was alluding to
47:18
Speaker 2: Triple H.
47:19
Speaker 3: Yeah, I know, but I just I was just like,
47:22
Speaker 3: but I mean, I know, we call him like, we
47:24
Speaker 3: call him by his title on TV, but we haven't
47:27
Speaker 3: seen him actually come out and make a match happen.
47:31
Speaker 1: So that would be a different take on it.
47:33
Speaker 3: That's so that's why I was wondering if they were
47:35
Speaker 3: gonna go bra because I'll forget.
47:37
Speaker 2: Well, they're playing it up as if it's a real
47:39
Speaker 2: thing that they're banning, like Kevin Owens from being in
47:41
Speaker 2: the arena and and doing these these videos even though
47:45
Speaker 2: they did air the video on SmackDown.
47:47
Speaker 3: Yeah, but and Ko is a Triple H guy, so
47:49
Speaker 3: you know it's it's and everybod kind of knows that
47:52
Speaker 3: because that was the first uh you know Triple H
47:55
Speaker 3: really with the Triple H helping Ko win the title
47:58
Speaker 3: overset that one time in the in the Fatal four
47:59
Speaker 3: Way talking.
48:01
Speaker 2: About Triple H sidebar here before we get into Halloween Havic.
48:04
Speaker 2: Anybody ever think it's weird that they referred to him
48:06
Speaker 2: on television now as Paul Triple H Levec.
48:09
Speaker 3: It freaks me out with it when every time I
48:10
Speaker 3: hear so you say, I gotta go talk to.
48:11
Speaker 2: Paul, Yes, that that freaks me out because Triple H
48:15
Speaker 2: means hunter Hurst Helmsley. So if it's the full name,
48:17
Speaker 2: is he Paul hunter Hurst Helmsley Levec.
48:21
Speaker 3: Which sounds so fancy, But then I gotta go talk
48:25
Speaker 3: to Paul, I think and Hayman and Hangman, So it
48:29
Speaker 3: throws me off every time.
48:31
Speaker 2: It's the old school fan me. They're not like, here's
48:33
Speaker 2: Mark the Undertaker Callaway, which, by the way, Undertaker interviewed
48:38
Speaker 2: a former president.
48:40
Speaker 1: Yeah, it's crazy.
48:41
Speaker 2: What a world.
48:42
Speaker 3: And by the way, nobody ever says, I gotta go
48:44
Speaker 3: talk to Higginbotham.
48:45
Speaker 2: True, Yeah, I gotta, I gotta go talk to Mike
48:48
Speaker 2: who Michael hbk Hickebottom here he is? Uh? Or yeah? What?
48:55
Speaker 2: I don't even know what Booker T's real name is,
48:57
Speaker 2: so Booker you're right, yeah, Booker T. Huffman.
49:02
Speaker 1: I guess, yeah, I think I think it's a Booker T. Huffman.
49:04
Speaker 2: You know, it's just little things are driving nuts, like
49:07
Speaker 2: Lexus King can't be known as Brian Pillman, Charlie Dempsey
49:11
Speaker 2: can't be known as Charlie Regal, but we're gonna call
49:15
Speaker 2: Paul triple h Levec.
49:17
Speaker 1: It's like, yeah, but Saban and Shelley get to keep
49:19
Speaker 1: their names.
49:20
Speaker 2: Yeah, they do everything. They get to keep everything. Which
49:23
Speaker 2: any thoughts there? Do you like the the tagline on
49:26
Speaker 2: their on their Titan Tron of rat a tat tat sure?
49:32
Speaker 2: I mean what what, I don't know. I'm happy for them.
49:36
Speaker 2: This is this is great. I mean, these this is
49:38
Speaker 2: long overdue that they got the opportunity in this position,
49:41
Speaker 2: and it's it's it's got me excited for the Tag
49:44
Speaker 2: team division at least on SmackDown. But yeah, I mean
49:48
Speaker 2: they're they're getting a lot of pub on on a
49:51
Speaker 2: return and on coming to w w A and rightfully
49:54
Speaker 2: so I'm digging at Doctor Trey.
49:55
Speaker 1: I thought the crowd reaction though, was really light.
50:01
Speaker 2: I mean, they're not like extremely well known.
50:04
Speaker 1: Right, yeah, did they have I can't remember.
50:07
Speaker 2: I know they should have done vignettes like explaining who
50:10
Speaker 2: they were beforehand, I think, but and not just the
50:13
Speaker 2: weird video did that didn't show them at all?
50:16
Speaker 1: Like show some you can get TNA to give you
50:18
Speaker 1: some highlights.
50:19
Speaker 2: Oh, absolutely you can, especially with the relationship right now.
50:22
Speaker 3: So but I know we had the American Wolves in
50:26
Speaker 3: NXT did like one time? Did we get I thought
50:32
Speaker 3: there was another tag team that they fought like the
50:34
Speaker 3: week but like because who was who was the champion
50:36
Speaker 3: of the time?
50:37
Speaker 2: Was that time splitters out of match or two because
50:41
Speaker 2: Shelley did?
50:42
Speaker 1: Who did? Who did? Who was it that the Wolves wrestled?
50:45
Speaker 3: There was uh Connor and Victor the Ascension?
50:50
Speaker 1: The Ascension.
50:51
Speaker 3: I thought there was another tag team at the time
50:53
Speaker 3: that they had the week before.
50:56
Speaker 2: I know the Brisco has got a couple of dark matches.
51:00
Speaker 3: Sworn it was the it was MotorCity. I thought Motorsman
51:02
Speaker 3: Machina has had one match in NXC beforehand.
51:05
Speaker 2: No Shelley wrestled with Kashida. I don't believe Saban ever
51:08
Speaker 2: wrestled in w A.
51:10
Speaker 3: All right, but either way, like, I'm happy for them.
51:12
Speaker 3: I'm glad they're getting the chance. I'm looking forward to
51:14
Speaker 3: seeing them in d I Y because that should be
51:16
Speaker 3: a hell of a tag match. That's a borderline dream
51:18
Speaker 3: tag match, so that'll be really, really, really fun.
51:21
Speaker 2: But uh, you've got a lot of talented tag teams
51:25
Speaker 2: starting utilizing them, like Anderson and Gallows are on there, Dall.
51:31
Speaker 3: Mysterio and Dragon lead team up in the number one
51:34
Speaker 3: Contenders tournament because they've never seen before, but they should
51:36
Speaker 3: be number one contenders.
51:37
Speaker 2: I hope that that's leaning towards war Raiders Doctor Try.
51:41
Speaker 1: I am too, so I'm not gonna lie.
51:43
Speaker 2: Lots of good stuff, And I'll just add one more
51:45
Speaker 2: thing on the MotorCity machine guns, because we talked about
51:47
Speaker 2: AW at the top of the show. I do think
51:48
Speaker 2: it does speak some volumes here, that MotorCity machine guns.
51:53
Speaker 2: I mean, it just seemed like a foregone conclusion. We
51:55
Speaker 2: go to a w Stephanie Vakor went to we those
52:00
Speaker 2: some things that, like people are noticing that maybe my
52:02
Speaker 2: career isn't going to be as postful in AW as
52:04
Speaker 2: it would be in WWA.
52:06
Speaker 3: Well, I still think for a lot of wrestlers, especially
52:11
Speaker 3: longer term like longer tenured wrestlers and wrestlers from overseas,
52:16
Speaker 3: WW is still the place to go. Like, it's still
52:18
Speaker 3: the dream to have a wrestle media match. So somebody
52:22
Speaker 3: like Stephanie Vaccor who grew up watching ww and what
52:24
Speaker 3: grew up watching WRESTLEMDIA has it and hurt like lursy
52:28
Speaker 3: machine guns. I mean, those kids grew up on WWE,
52:31
Speaker 3: so it makes a lot of sense the younger kids,
52:33
Speaker 3: maybe AW.
52:34
Speaker 1: Is the place for them to go. But to me,
52:35
Speaker 1: it's like if.
52:36
Speaker 3: You're a tenured veteran and you're like, man, I got
52:39
Speaker 3: one less good run in me, I gotta take my
52:41
Speaker 3: shot at WWE.
52:43
Speaker 2: Yeah. These are two guys in their forties and they've
52:45
Speaker 2: been wrestling for over twenty years and here they are
52:48
Speaker 2: finally making their shot in w WA. Modersoton machine guns.
52:52
Speaker 2: Let's preven predicted NXC Halloween Havoc taking place to Sunday
52:55
Speaker 2: from the Giants Center in Hershey, Pennsylvania. First match on
52:57
Speaker 2: the car here, Doctor Trey's an ambulance match against Ridge
53:00
Speaker 2: Holland and Andre Chase. This is a hard one to pick,
53:03
Speaker 2: but I'm gonna go with Andre Chase because Chase h
53:05
Speaker 2: has just been destroyed by Ridge Hall in the last
53:07
Speaker 2: two to three months.
53:08
Speaker 1: Yeah, I'm taking Andre Chase as well.
53:09
Speaker 3: I just feel like you'll see, you know, something like
53:12
Speaker 3: Duke will be driving the ambulance and you'll see, uh
53:15
Speaker 3: thea Hale in a nurse's outfit. I just the ambulance
53:19
Speaker 3: match means like anything goes kind of thing, So I
53:22
Speaker 3: can see Chase Young getting involved to all get their revenge.
53:24
Speaker 2: On Ridge Holland. Chase Young from the New Orleans Saints Young,
53:28
Speaker 2: I mean Andre Chase.
53:29
Speaker 3: Sorry, yeah, Chase Young. I've I've been playing a lot
53:31
Speaker 3: of football on my on my PS five, so yeah.
53:33
Speaker 2: Yeah, he could definitely spear like bron Breaker does Calonne
53:37
Speaker 2: Jordan defense against either Fallon Henley, Jacy Jane or Jasmine
53:40
Speaker 2: Nicks in a Spinner's Choice match for the NXC Women's
53:44
Speaker 2: North American Championship, Doctor Trey, who do you like in
53:46
Speaker 2: this one?
53:47
Speaker 3: I got momentarily confused when I saw Spinner's Choice because
53:50
Speaker 3: I was like, wait, are we putting the spinner on
53:52
Speaker 3: the North American title for the women?
53:53
Speaker 1: Like that would be horrible.
53:56
Speaker 2: They just and it's just that I a jeweler. They
53:58
Speaker 2: just pick which spinner they select. That's the match.
54:02
Speaker 3: I'm taking Kilani because I think I don't know what
54:05
Speaker 3: her new name is, but her old name was Delta.
54:07
Speaker 1: I think she gets involved to help her out in
54:09
Speaker 1: this match.
54:10
Speaker 2: I'm going to go with Fallon Henley. I think you
54:12
Speaker 2: gotta do some with this. Is it Fatal Attraction that's
54:15
Speaker 2: their tag name now, yeah, trio name. I'm going to
54:18
Speaker 2: go with Fallon Henley in this one because I think
54:20
Speaker 2: they could use a little bit of some firepower for
54:24
Speaker 2: their group moving forward. So Doc Tray is Kolanie. I'm
54:26
Speaker 2: gonna go with Fallon Henley to be the winner in
54:28
Speaker 2: this one. Next match is Roxane Perez and Cora Jay
54:31
Speaker 2: taking on Julia and Stephanie vakor Doctor Trey. Who do
54:34
Speaker 2: you like in this one?
54:35
Speaker 3: I guess Julia and Stephanie vack Or just because of
54:38
Speaker 3: the tag match, the titles and not on the line, so
54:40
Speaker 3: I think they can afford to get a win to
54:41
Speaker 3: kind of boost them up. This is gonna be fun though,
54:43
Speaker 3: because I'm really interesting how this Korra Roxan thing works out,
54:46
Speaker 3: because if I remember correctly, they were partners and then
54:51
Speaker 3: feuded and then kind of made up and then got hurt.
54:54
Speaker 3: So I'm gonna say Julia and Stephanie Bucker though, because.
54:58
Speaker 1: They kind of need the win to kind of pump
55:00
Speaker 1: them up.
55:01
Speaker 2: I like you, I'm gonna take Julian stephaniebau Chorus as well.
55:04
Speaker 2: Tony D'Angelo defends the NX North American Championship against Obafemi
55:08
Speaker 2: and a tables, ladders and scares match. Uh, this is
55:11
Speaker 2: a tough one to call. I'm gonna go with Obafemi
55:13
Speaker 2: in this one, Doctor Trey.
55:16
Speaker 1: Uh.
55:17
Speaker 3: I think I'm taking Tony d to retain, and I
55:20
Speaker 3: think you see Obafemi move up to the heavyweight title
55:23
Speaker 3: in the next month or two.
55:24
Speaker 2: And then finally the Devil's Playground match for the NXC Championship,
55:27
Speaker 2: Trick Williams defense against Ethan Page. I'm gonna go with
55:30
Speaker 2: Trick Williams.
55:31
Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm going with Trick Altar because I think Trick
55:33
Speaker 3: and Oba is the next big feud for Trick, So
55:35
Speaker 3: I'm gonna take Trick retaining.
55:36
Speaker 2: So there you go. We will recap and review NXC
55:39
Speaker 2: Halloween Havoc on next week's edition of this show, and
55:43
Speaker 2: we'll get you ready for Halloween and also w W
