  [SPEAKER_00]: And this is a little bit of a difficult exercise right now, honestly, just because you don't know if Travis E.T.N's coming back or not.

  [SPEAKER_00]: We talked a lot about Travis E.T.N yesterday.

  [SPEAKER_00]: If the salary cap website's spot rack and over the cap are anywhere close with their projections for his market value, which spot rack has amount like 6.8 million.

  [SPEAKER_00]: over the cap has about like 8.8 million.

  [SPEAKER_00]: If they're in that ballpark to me, I would just keep them.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I've talked about that a good bit.

  [SPEAKER_00]: But that's my opinion.

  [SPEAKER_00]: What matters is what the Jaguar's opinion is and how they want to handle this situation.

  [SPEAKER_00]: If they keep Travis ETN, there's no point even worrying about running backs in this draft in my opinion.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I don't think there's much of a point in worrying about running back if you keep Travis CTN because you're not going to carry four backs on your active roster and all likelihood.

  [SPEAKER_00]: basal to and and liquid Allen.

  [SPEAKER_00]: It's not like there's a path to that player taking over the the third spot and all likelihood.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So that's that's where I'm at, but if the jackwares do, you know, end up deciding that Travis CTN just too expensive.

  [SPEAKER_00]: They want to allocate their salary cap resources elsewhere.

  [SPEAKER_00]: then you start looking at the draft pretty heavily for running back, not because you don't think basal toot and eliquant Allen are capable necessarily, but because you need a third back and

  [SPEAKER_00]: that back could be a veteran that's cheaper than Travis ET and that's definitely possible.

  [SPEAKER_00]: It could also be a young player from the draft.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So we're going to dive into some of these draft running backs.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I've watched 11 running backs from this upcoming 2026 NFL draft so far and I've identified five that I'm a big fan of really more than five.

  [SPEAKER_00]: to be fairly complete, fairly complete.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And they're not all the same by any stretch of the imagination.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Lots of different archetypes and all that type of stuff.

  [SPEAKER_00]: But Travis C.T.N.

  [SPEAKER_00]: proved this year that he is a back that can get the job done running, get the job done receiving, and get the job done in past protection.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So those are the three things I'm really looking for with these running backs, at least the potential to have that type of game.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Jeremiah loves going to be the first running back taken and he's going to be around one pick.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know how early he will go obviously his landing spot is going to have a big impact on like his early impact like you saw Ashton Gentie had some ups and downs this year because he was in such a bad bad situation with the Raiders.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So Jeremiah love wherever he goes he's going to be a good player just how big of an impact is he going to have.

  [SPEAKER_00]: year one is going to be impacted by his landing spot offensive line passing game all that stuff but really good player pretty complete, very explosive.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I don't think the Jaguar has any chance of landing him outside of him though.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I'm not sure anybody else is going to be really in first round consideration.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I mean there might be a couple guys that could sneak up there and have a lot of hype throughout this process.

  [SPEAKER_00]: but yeah, I'm just not convinced that that's gonna be the case, but the next three guys on my running back rankings are players that I do think potentially makes sense for the Jaguars.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And I have no idea where they're even gonna be looking at running back if they move on from Travis ET and because, bashedal tuton, I think has the potential to be their lead back,

  [SPEAKER_00]: in a committee, not necessarily like this full-time 20 carries a game guy, but a lead back in a committee, and Lee Quint Allen can do a lot for you as well, like he's not a bad runner by any stretch, and he's a really good bass protector and a really good bass catcher.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So I don't know where they're going to be looking to add, but these are players that I think do make sense for them, potentially.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Running back Jonah Coleman from Washington, he is a short-king, in my notes I wrote down,

  [SPEAKER_00]: size wise he kind of looks like he's somewhere in between Michael Turner and Maurice Jones Drew.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So shout out to MJAD there.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He is like 5'9", listed at like 5'9", around 230 pounds.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He doesn't have the speed that either of those guys had in my opinion.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Coming out, like Michael Turner and Maurice Jones Drew, I think both were just a little bit more explosive and faster runners than General Coleman.

  [SPEAKER_00]: But, General Coleman is super strong, very elusive.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He has good vision and patience.

  [SPEAKER_00]: really good contact balance as you would expect with somebody that's has such a low center of gravity and it's so dense again like 5, 9, 2, 30, he might even be shorter than that really.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He's a really good passcatcher.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He's a proven passcatcher.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He's been good and pass pro throughout his career.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Just really kind of like lacks that final gear in the open field and so that would definitely be a huge

  [SPEAKER_00]: A player who I think can do a lot of the different tasks you would ask from a runner now.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know that he's ever going to be like an outside zone star, which the Jaguars have specialized really in mid zone, but they do run a lot of outside zone.

  [SPEAKER_00]: But I think he could be a good foil to what you have because he can catch the ball of the backfield.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He can pass protect.
• 6:24
  [SPEAKER_00]: He does have more quickness and elucidiveness than you expect it as size.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And I think he could be more of your in-between the tackles runner.

  [SPEAKER_00]: and you try to get basal to and outside more, would he be too limiting to the outside zone game?

  [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know, at the next level.

  [SPEAKER_00]: That's a kind of an interesting question there.

  [SPEAKER_00]: But I like his game a lot.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think he's going to be a good back if he ends up in a spot that knows how to utilize what he brings to the table, which I think is more, he's not just North and South, but he's more North and South.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Less that speed guy to get to the edge, right?

  [SPEAKER_00]: That's where I'm at with General Coleman.

  [SPEAKER_00]: The next guy, I think the next two guys I think could be really, really good fits.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Emmett Johnson, Adam Nebraska, and I have General Coleman, Emmett Johnson, Nicholas Singleton, Jadari and Price, and Lavy on Moss all in the same range.

  [SPEAKER_00]: All in kind of in the same tier.

  [SPEAKER_00]: They're all very different backs.

  [SPEAKER_00]: But running back

  [SPEAKER_00]: I'm at Johnson out in Nebraska, the first things that you see when you pop on, I see really good bend, like his ability to run at full speed, but kind of bend his angle, good vision and patience.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He is an explosive player, I don't know, that he has like elite top end speed, but he has enough explosiveness, certainly, to be a back that kind of has that presence about him, like Travis ETN, where you're worried about him.

  [SPEAKER_00]: running through tackles, kind of running through arm tackles and just having that burst to really threaten opposing defenses.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He is proven to be a reliable pass blocker, needs to improve in pass pro and news flash.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Most running backs come in at a college need to improve in pass pro, they just do.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Jonah Coleman is kind of in Jeremiah love you and they need to improve as well, but I think that they're a lot further along than some other guys.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So, Emmett Johnson, to me, he's got some similarities certainly to Travis E.T.N.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think that he could come in and do some of the things that Travis E.T.N does.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Part of the problem I think with replacing Travis E.T.N with a rookie, and again, it wouldn't be directly replacing with a rookie, because I think you're going to see basal tuten step up, I think you're going to see Lee Kuen Allen step up.

  [SPEAKER_00]: But part of the issue would be just, you're not going to get

  [SPEAKER_00]: of all of the different traits that he brings because he's so experienced and so hard working and just has grown throughout his career.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So that's kind of the issue you see there.

  [SPEAKER_00]: In a lot of games I will say, Emma Johnson has done a good job in past pro, but he's also had some

  [SPEAKER_00]: So I'm not so great outings, and he's listed at 5-11-200 pounds.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So you're just, that frame is not typically going to be a great pass blocker.

  [SPEAKER_00]: It's just going to be difficult to have like the density and strength to hold up in past pro.

  [SPEAKER_00]: If you're a little bit shorter, denser, that's going to help you out a lot more generally speaking.

  [SPEAKER_00]: But I do think Imma Johnson has a chance to be a kind of complete back the way Travis Ctm became.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And Travis Ctm wasn't always a good past blocker.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He had to develop that as well.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So just some things to keep in mind.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Um, so yeah, two guys, Jonah Coleman, Emmett Johnson, very different types of backs, uh, just kind of depends on where the Jaguar is going to go if they end up moving on for me, TN.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Uh, next up is Nick Singleton out of Penn State.

  [SPEAKER_00]: This guy, he has speed and power, unbelievable speed and power.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He's over 225 pounds, but he has like a 4, 3, something 40-yard out.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Like he is so, so explosive and so fast.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He has quick feet,

  [SPEAKER_00]: I would say my only real knock on him is I don't think that he's super creative as a runner.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I don't think you see a lot of like jump cuts and things of that nature to create a lot of space, but the speed and the power, the quick feet, the reliable hands, I mean really good past catcher.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think he pretty much like always gets what's blocked and then it's the question is whether or not he's going to make somebody miss after that.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think he could be a very complete back at the next level.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Nick Singleton, I've liked him for a long time.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, I thought he was going to come out last year, he ended up going back to school.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Looking around the web, like I think M. L. Kiper has him as the number two running back in this class, which he's right in that tier for me, and then other places he's like on day three.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So he's going to be a fascinating watch throughout the off season and leading up into the draft.

  [SPEAKER_00]: could be a fun player to add.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And that's Jderion Price out of Notre Dame, the second Notre Dame running back.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He is muscle bound.
• 11:39
  [SPEAKER_00]: He has great contact balance, a low center of gravity.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He is so explosive for his size.
• 11:45
  [SPEAKER_00]: As a really good vision, he has great cutbacks.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Good bend.
• 11:49
  [SPEAKER_00]: He's a really dangerous kick returner.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Return two kicks to the house.

  [SPEAKER_00]: But
• 11:56
  [SPEAKER_00]: not much experience in the passing game at all.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And I think he had like three fumbles on a little over a hundred carries this year.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He put the ball in the ground way too much.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Now, Basel's Tutan, he had a fumbling issue last year.

  [SPEAKER_00]: The Jaguar still picked him, but I think Basel Tutan had a little bit more of a proven track record just in general than price does.

  [SPEAKER_00]: But price, I think, has the potential
• 12:26
  [SPEAKER_00]: kind of like a special game breaking type of back.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I see that from him.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He's just got to prove that he can do a little bit more when it comes to keeping the ball high and tight, not fumble on that thing and then also just in pass bro and in the past game in general.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He's a fun one.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He's a really fun one.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He's in that same range for me.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And so his life, John Moss, who I do think could be a really good fit.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Again, he reminds me a little bit of Travis ETN, 511, 210.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think he has just that super explosiveness and athleticism, that juice, that Travis ETN brings to the field as well.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He can break tackles, runs with really good elusiveness and creativity.

  [SPEAKER_00]: The guy is always making people miss.

  [SPEAKER_00]: receiver or in Paspro.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think he has huge upside.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I really like his running style.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Again, another day two type of guy, but I've seen some folks think that he's a day three pick.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He's dealt with some injuries.

  [SPEAKER_00]: That's something to keep in mind for sure.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I don't think it's anything that's like debilitating or chronic, but he has dealt with some injuries.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Um, so yeah, something to keep in mind with Levy on Moss out of Texas A&M.

  [SPEAKER_00]: My next guy up is Jamari Taylor, who's 590-005 out of Virginia.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Even though he's only 590-005, he has a pretty complete game as a runner.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He's tough to tackle.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He's elusive.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think he's explosive.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I've seen him like really.

  [SPEAKER_00]: utilize that stiff arm almost like a punch and space get a guy off of him.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think that that's a really cool trait to have.

  [SPEAKER_00]: You don't see a lot of really good stiff arms from players these days coming out of college.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I do, I want to see what is his long speed.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think that he's very explosive in the one to 20 to 30 yards.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Does he have that final gear?

  [SPEAKER_00]: He's done a lot of wildcat quarterback stuff, so that's something that the Jaguars have utilized this year.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know if they'll continue to do that, but that's something to keep in mind.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think there's a lot of potential in past Prohand as a receiver.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I have him more of like borderline round three to early round four, Jamari Taylor.

  [SPEAKER_00]: If he, because at 205, you're just not going to be a very big back.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So I want you to have that long speed, and that's what I want to see from him throughout this process.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I just don't think you got a lot of good opportunities to see it at Virginia.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So those are my, those are my, those are my, those are my, those are my, those are my

  [SPEAKER_00]: We've talked about more than five, but my five that I'm highlighting here today that I think could be really good fits just based on their potential to have a complete game is Jonah Coleman, Emmett Johnson, Nicholas Singleton, LaVeal, Mosh, Jamari Taylor.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Obviously, if you had some insane situation where Jeremiah love was somehow available sure, but that's not going to happen.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Judairy on price, again, it's more about what we don't know in the fumbling issue.

  [SPEAKER_00]: than any concrete reason that I don't like his game.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I really do like his game.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He is a fun running back to watch.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Lavy on Maastro Maritailer, and then there's a couple four more guys we can just talk about really quick because I've looked at them.

  [SPEAKER_00]: K-Tron Allen at a Penn State, you know, Nicholas Singleton's teammate, they've been on the same team for a while.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He's always been a better producer as a runner than Nicholas Singleton, but he's a big and physical back.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He's 220 pounds.

  [SPEAKER_00]: 511.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Good contact balance and vision, steady player.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Just not much top speed.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think if you're trying to find a back that can be kind of more of that battering ram, more that short yardage guy.

  [SPEAKER_00]: K-Tron Allen could be a good fit for you.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think that he plays the game the right way.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He does a lot of things.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Well, I just don't think you're getting much creativity, explosiveness, speed, all those things from K-Tron Allen.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And to me, he would be more of a round four target.

  [SPEAKER_00]: A lot of folks think he'll go a lot higher than that.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And if he runs faster than I expect him to, maybe that's something to keep in mind.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I have Kentucky running back Seth McGowan, who we have talked about on the channel a little bit before, and that same range around three to four, and Trevor Sikama, NFL draft stock exchange, they put Seth McGowan to the Jack Wars and their first mock draft for the Jack Wars, but this is a guy.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He has prototypical size and athleticism.

  [SPEAKER_00]: It's like 2015, about six foot, 2015, well-balanced runner, elusive, very creative.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He has inconsistent hands in the passing game, and I mean, really inconsistent.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And he has been pretty poor in past Pro.
• 17:34
  [SPEAKER_00]: doesn't have a lot of experience because he got to Oklahoma as a pretty big recruit had a really unfortunate legal situation made a big mistake.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Thought football was going to get taken away from him.
• 17:46
  [SPEAKER_00]: He kind of had to do that rebound circuit where he went from small school to a little bit bigger school and then got to the SEC had a good year there.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So you appreciate the story, the redemption arc that he's on.
• 17:57
  [SPEAKER_00]: But I think that there's a lot that he has to prove for him to be this type of running

  [SPEAKER_00]: outside of just running the ball.

  [SPEAKER_00]: the running back positions about a lot more than that.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So yeah, that's where I'm out with him.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Running back Terry on Stewart Virginia Tech kind of similar to Jonah Coleman, short king, very low to the ground, runs like a bowling ball, bounces off tackles, breaks tackles.

  [SPEAKER_00]: I think he is less explosive and has less top speed and creativity with the ball in his hands.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Then Jonah Coleman and he's also just a lot less proven in the passing game in general.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So he's going to be a later round type of guy in my opinion.

  [SPEAKER_00]: And then my final guy I've watched is Demand Clayborne out of Wake Forest.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He's small.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Under 200 pounds, he fumbles the ball a lot.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He drops the ball a lot.
• 18:53
  [SPEAKER_00]: He's poor and past pro.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He is undersized but extremely explosive to me.

  [SPEAKER_00]: He's like a dart throw on a potential offensive weapon more than a true running back.

  [SPEAKER_00]: that there's a lot to get cleaned up there on that tape.

  [SPEAKER_00]: They're absolutely is.

  [SPEAKER_00]: So I think there's a lot of options for the Jaguars if they do want to look to replace Travis ETN and again, I think it would be more basal toot and stepping up to be more of that Travis ETN role.

  [SPEAKER_00]: Lee Quint Allen stepping up and being more involved.

  [SPEAKER_00]: just in general but certainly in the past game and past protection and then this third running back coming in and just trying to compete and establish a role for themselves so they would probably need to be able to compete on special teams and I don't know exactly what the Jaguars would be looking for from a skill set standpoint to complement what they do have.

  [SPEAKER_00]: For guys that I thought have a pretty complete game that can do all the things because I think the more you can do, the more you can positively impact the team.
