- 0:00Speaker 1: Hello, gorgeous. It's La La Kent. Welcome to untraditionally, La La,
- 0:05Speaker 1: Hello gorgeous, Welcome back to untraditionally, La La. I'm finally
- 0:11Speaker 1: feeling like a whole person again. Same. I start to
- 0:14Speaker 1: lose my wits about me when I'm gone for too long.
- 0:17Speaker 1: I've just come to the realization, and I've said this, like,
- 0:21Speaker 1: there's going to become a point in time where like
- 0:24Speaker 1: Mom's going to want to Like, who the hell am
- 0:27Speaker 1: I kidding? Shit, She's never going to want to, but
- 0:30Speaker 1: there will come a point in time where like you
- 0:32Speaker 1: want to go and fly free after Yeah, and it'll
- 0:38Speaker 1: happen and I know that. But today I'm going to
- 0:41Speaker 1: need nobody to leave the gates of this house. Oh,
- 0:47Speaker 1: it just sends me into panic. I don't like it.
- 0:50Speaker 1: I'm happy you had a good time, No I did,
- 0:52Speaker 1: But I will be honest. Should we talk about my festivities?
- 0:56Speaker 1: I want to talk about I want to talk about
- 0:58Speaker 1: your festivities, but I want that to into what Coachella,
- 1:01Speaker 1: like what people were saying about week two and get
- 1:04Speaker 1: your take on it. Easton went to Coachella, but he
- 1:08Speaker 1: left on Thursday at like noon because traffic was what
- 1:12Speaker 1: like four or five hours. I got home last. I
- 1:15Speaker 1: got home on Monday night at eight thirty because traffic
- 1:21Speaker 1: was it was like a three and a half four
- 1:22Speaker 1: hour drive until then, so I just waited it out. Yeah,
- 1:26Speaker 1: and what you got home in two hours? I mean
- 1:28Speaker 1: it was quick. By the time I had like gotten
- 1:30Speaker 1: myself ready for bed. You walked in the door and
- 1:32Speaker 1: I heard front door has been opened or whatever, and
- 1:36Speaker 1: I was my favorite thing in the world, like haled
- 1:39Speaker 1: ass out of bed. Every time every time I go
- 1:43Speaker 1: out and like movie, go out with friends, my dog
- 1:46Speaker 1: usually is in the main house. So I got to
- 1:48Speaker 1: come and get the big the big guy Pablo.
- 1:50Speaker 2: Yeah, so I will open the front door and front
- 1:54Speaker 2: door open and the first thing I see is just
- 1:58Speaker 2: a door open and a headpop.
- 2:00Speaker 1: She goes just making sure it's you, And it's like,
- 2:03Speaker 1: if it wasn't, what's your game plan? Fuck you up?
- 2:07Speaker 1: Obviously my body I turned into a raging woman. Dylan Sprouse, Yeah,
- 2:14Speaker 1: did you hear about that? No? I just read about it. Okay,
- 2:17Speaker 1: what happened his house? It was, Yeah, someone came in. Yeah,
- 2:23Speaker 1: something's going on in the world where people just think
- 2:27Speaker 1: they can roll up in your house and only that
- 2:29Speaker 1: streamers a whole bunch of like just like live streamers
- 2:32Speaker 1: who a lot of people just watch throughout the day,
- 2:33Speaker 1: who are going and doing this, we all know them.
- 2:35Speaker 1: They're getting like attacked. Like there was just a dude
- 2:38Speaker 1: live streaming in New York and a guy just comes
- 2:40Speaker 1: up and punches him. What. Yeah, another Marlin who most
- 2:44Speaker 1: people know, beautiful looking man and he's young, I want
- 2:48Speaker 1: to say to Yeah, he's like twenty one, twenty three.
- 2:51Speaker 2: Yeah, no, but he's like in Paris, and like people
- 2:55Speaker 2: come up to him in like mass and they're like
- 2:57Speaker 2: pressing him and his girlfriend while they're like or this
- 2:59Speaker 2: girl he's with, Like because.
- 3:01Speaker 1: When you're live streaming, they know where to find you,
- 3:03Speaker 1: right totally. I don't know if this is like a
- 3:06Speaker 1: fab that's going on with just people like following and
- 3:08Speaker 1: doing that. But like a lot of streamers and like
- 3:14Speaker 1: the intruder I know, but famous people I feel like
- 3:16Speaker 1: are just getting attacked right now. Yeah, No, it's scary.
- 3:19Speaker 1: I mean a lot of a lot of housewives have
- 3:21Speaker 1: experienced it. I mean I was watching the news today
- 3:23Speaker 1: and there were a couple intruders that came into homes
- 3:27Speaker 1: at night. So you would be with people home. You
- 3:30Speaker 1: would be a Dylan Sprouse. I don't. I'm doing more
- 3:35Speaker 1: than tackling you, buddy. Like I said, you'll be the
- 3:37Speaker 1: one surprised because, like I said, you're going to roll
- 3:39Speaker 1: in here, You're not gonna find shit because I don't
- 3:41Speaker 1: keep anything in the house anymore. People all of the
- 3:44Speaker 1: houses that you see like on Housewives and it's like
- 3:47Speaker 1: so and so, God you know, had an intruder. I
- 3:53Speaker 1: I don't. Uh, I don't feel comfortable in the world
- 3:59Speaker 1: at this point in time. Yeah, but if you are
- 4:01Speaker 1: that type of person, you should feel more uncomfortable with
- 4:04Speaker 1: me if you enter my space. How did it lead
- 4:07Speaker 1: to that? Okay, So Pablo's at the front door, hackles raised.
- 4:13Speaker 1: Then he sees your face and he's like, so excited.
- 4:16Speaker 1: I love everything. You know. The dogs actually really struggled
- 4:18Speaker 1: while you were gone. Guys, can we talk about it?
- 4:22Speaker 1: Because we kept Bernice so we split the dogs up.
- 4:25Speaker 1: Mm hmm. I missed you. I'm happy you're back. No,
- 4:27Speaker 1: I miss you, guys. I think five days is the
- 4:30Speaker 1: max limit that I can do without seeing my family.
- 4:33Speaker 1: I think seven a whole week, that's a good amount.
- 4:36Speaker 1: It's like, you miss you want to come home, but
- 4:39Speaker 1: it's a nice Soli vacation the desert. Five days is plenty.
- 4:43Speaker 1: That's how I was fled, especially like after a festival,
- 4:45Speaker 1: it kind of felt like Vegas. It's like Friday afternoon,
- 4:53Speaker 1: Sunday morning. Bye. Totally. So Sosa has been doing this thing.
- 4:59Speaker 1: She is such a character, you guys. No, she is
- 5:04Speaker 1: turning into the funnest human on the planet. And I've said,
- 5:08Speaker 1: like she's very high strung, she's high maintenance, and she's
- 5:11Speaker 1: still like all of those things. But she's got such
- 5:15Speaker 1: a sweet and care free personality, just like a free spirit,
- 5:19Speaker 1: which I don't think. I don't know how I was
- 5:22Speaker 1: at her age, Like she's still very young. But when
- 5:26Speaker 1: I describe Sosa, and this warms my heart because you
- 5:30Speaker 1: guys know that I conceived her via donorant, so she
- 5:33Speaker 1: was just a very well thought out process and very
- 5:38Speaker 1: much wanted. Beyond words. She is just happy to be here.
- 5:43Speaker 1: Like the way she looks at everybody, She's like, you
- 5:47Speaker 1: know what, pretty happy My mom decided to do this. Now,
- 5:50Speaker 1: every time every time she sees something, she's seen it
- 5:53Speaker 1: for the first time. It feels like she's a brand
- 5:55Speaker 1: new soul. But I mean like me. I'm just so
- 5:59Speaker 1: obsessed with her now, and she walks around the house
- 6:01Speaker 1: and she's so funny when she's just inverted. She loves
- 6:06Speaker 1: wearing glasses. She loves wearing glasses, goes into Ocean's room,
- 6:09Speaker 1: she puts them on, wears them around. They're rose colored,
- 6:12Speaker 1: takes them off, goes who like she cannot believe the
- 6:19Speaker 1: transition in like just color right, it's like rose colored glasses,
- 6:25Speaker 1: real life puts them back on. Life truly is better
- 6:28Speaker 1: through rose colored glasses. But she's been doing this thing
- 6:31Speaker 1: because we talk. I say, Mama loves Sosa, and so
- 6:33Speaker 1: I'll say Mama loves and she'll say Sosa. Now she
- 6:36Speaker 1: has started saying I love me, and Easton thinks she's
- 6:41Speaker 1: trying to say I love I love you, but she
- 6:43Speaker 1: points at herself. I love because I'll say I love you,
- 6:46Speaker 1: and she will I love me. They're good. Did come
- 6:51Speaker 1: from Christ? Two of them know we are Sosa and
- 6:57Speaker 1: I are the same person. Yeah, I can't wait. There
- 7:00Speaker 1: we went. We were. Yeah, it's gonna be a lot,
- 7:04Speaker 1: but there there was. We went to a playdate the
- 7:07Speaker 1: other day and the dad of one of the kids
- 7:09Speaker 1: looks at me and goes. Your kid is like annoyingly beautiful,
- 7:15Speaker 1: like she makes other babies look ugly. I died because
- 7:18Speaker 1: I'm like, obviously that's not true, but obviously that makes
- 7:21Speaker 1: me feel really and you can't give credit to anybody
- 7:24Speaker 1: but me. Right, well, there is somebody that we can
- 7:27Speaker 1: We don't know him, and if you can't see him,
- 7:29Speaker 1: he don't exist, right, Santa Claus, you can't see it.
- 7:38Speaker 1: Don't let your kids listen to this. Don't be listening
- 7:40Speaker 1: to this in the car. But I thought that that
- 7:42Speaker 1: was really funny and also a weird thing. So Sosa
- 7:47Speaker 1: is obsessed. She has four fake phones. You guys. There
- 7:51Speaker 1: they make sounds like there's little beads in it. Exactly,
- 7:57Speaker 1: it's a rat. She is so addicted to these phones.
- 8:01Speaker 1: She has to have all four at all times, and
- 8:04Speaker 1: when you take them from her, she loses her mind.
- 8:07Speaker 2: Well, she's going to be a very We've got in
- 8:10Speaker 2: person in due time, and she'll have all four phones.
- 8:13Speaker 1: It was willing and Dylan in swim Less. Yes, I
- 8:16Speaker 1: took the phone from her, put her in the pool.
- 8:18Speaker 1: She would not stop crying. Finally we just gave her
- 8:20Speaker 1: the phone to keep in the pool. She had a
- 8:22Speaker 1: death grip on it. She would kick her legs, but
- 8:24Speaker 1: anytime you had to use your arms, she wouldn't move there.
- 8:28Speaker 1: And she was like pretending to use it, pretending in
- 8:31Speaker 1: the pool and like taking hello, drowning me. That's not true.
- 8:38Speaker 1: She was wheeling and dealing. But then I turn on
- 8:40Speaker 1: the news because I'm like, what is it about this?
- 8:41Speaker 1: Like fake phone? I could see kids getting addicted. Well,
- 8:45Speaker 1: I'm curtailing that. And then also Los Angeles exactly, that's
- 8:50Speaker 1: a computer, it's work. But you know, I understand that,
- 8:55Speaker 1: I do get you. But I was watching the news
- 8:59Speaker 1: today and and there's a bunch of parents who have
- 9:01Speaker 1: banned together who are a part of the LA Unified
- 9:04Speaker 1: School district. Their kids aren't in the in public schools
- 9:08Speaker 1: where everyone's using an iPad, and these parents are very
- 9:11Speaker 1: concerned because their kids are displaying basically symptoms of addiction
- 9:15Speaker 1: when it comes to these So they're demanding pen to paper,
- 9:19Speaker 1: no more electronics. And it has moved so far that
- 9:22Speaker 1: we can just put money into it. Yes, to go back,
- 9:24Speaker 1: because it could be the first school district to pass this.
- 9:27Speaker 1: From what I understand, did you know that this? And
- 9:31Speaker 1: I'm going to get this very wrong. But you can
- 9:33Speaker 1: do you share it all, share it all, share half
- 9:36Speaker 1: the data misinformation. This ain't Joe Rogan. This is the
- 9:40Speaker 1: lowest test scores since like lower than their parents. And
- 9:45Speaker 1: it's the first time that's ever happened. Like you're usually
- 9:48Speaker 1: getting higher than your parents, you know, this is the
- 9:51Speaker 1: first time they're starting to score lower than the generation
- 9:54Speaker 1: before them. Well wow, wow, Then it's because technology.
- 9:58Speaker 2: That's why they're going to pen and paper again, even
- 10:01Speaker 2: though we just spent around like three billion dollars to
- 10:03Speaker 2: put technology in the schools.
- 10:05Speaker 1: Unless but no. But by the way, I think what
- 10:08Speaker 1: these parents are going in is there's an age limit.
- 10:11Speaker 1: There's gonna be an age limit now because Ocean is
- 10:13Speaker 1: displaying little moments where she'll be on the iPad too
- 10:16Speaker 1: much and then she catches mad attitude, she starts tweaking out.
- 10:19Speaker 1: I told her today, she woke up and asked for
- 10:21Speaker 1: the iPad and I gave it to her while I
- 10:25Speaker 1: got so sab and when I told her, when I
- 10:27Speaker 1: went to grab it, she like gripped it and like
- 10:29Speaker 1: death stared at me. And I looked at her and
- 10:32Speaker 1: I told her, I said, I'm not the one give
- 10:34Speaker 1: me the iPad. I'm counting to three and I said one,
- 10:39Speaker 1: and she yeah, most people do. So she hands it
- 10:45Speaker 1: over at one. I didn't even have to two or three.
- 10:49Speaker 1: And I go in her room. She's giving me attitude.
- 10:52Speaker 1: I said, here's the deal, says, I'm gonna break this
- 10:54Speaker 1: down for you. The iPad is no longer today. You're
- 10:58Speaker 1: you're not having it at all today. This is a
- 11:00Speaker 1: real problem. You become mean, you don't focus, you don't listen.
- 11:05Speaker 1: I've had is done. And I was like very stern
- 11:07Speaker 1: to where she was like, okay, mom, sounds good, okay,
- 11:10Speaker 1: but like, but I am. I'm definitely bringing down the
- 11:14Speaker 1: hammer on curtailing electronics, even the fake electronics. For Sosa
- 11:19Speaker 1: when she is distracted, they're going in a drawer because
- 11:21Speaker 1: what happens is she clocks them. It's almost like they
- 11:24Speaker 1: have a relationship that's like they they it's like an
- 11:29Speaker 1: alien being called to its mother ship between Sosa and
- 11:33Speaker 1: the faux phones. Yeah, she knows exactly. It's like, yeah, nice,
- 11:39Speaker 1: it's done. We're doing okay, So let's talk about Coachella.
- 11:44Speaker 1: I heard that week two of the performances were way
- 11:46Speaker 1: freaking better. So tell what you told me. Because I
- 11:49Speaker 1: didn't know that. Like I knew there was obviously like
- 11:53Speaker 1: differences from Weekend one and two, but I didn't know.
- 11:57Speaker 1: I was talking to the Gaye yesterday because they came
- 11:58Speaker 1: over to pool and I just asked them, like, uh,
- 12:03Speaker 1: how did you feel about Coachella because I haven't seen
- 12:05Speaker 1: them since Week one or Weekend one, and I said,
- 12:10Speaker 1: I heard that the second weekend was way better, and
- 12:13Speaker 1: they go, yeah, but there's no parties Weekend two. And
- 12:16Speaker 1: I was like, oh, so is that why you guys go?
- 12:21Speaker 1: And they're like, the festival's fun, but like week one
- 12:24Speaker 1: is where like all the parties are happening and there's
- 12:27Speaker 1: like really cool people there. Okay, so this is what
- 12:31Speaker 1: I've this is what I've learned. Weekend one is for
- 12:36Speaker 1: people who want to go to the parties and the
- 12:38Speaker 1: activations and you know, all of these big brands and
- 12:43Speaker 1: also the influencers, the convention where all the influencers are.
- 12:49Speaker 1: Weekend two you go if you are really really down
- 12:52Speaker 1: for the cause of what Coachella is and I participating
- 12:56Speaker 1: in the lineup and all of the music that they
- 12:59Speaker 1: have to offer, all of the activations that the brands
- 13:04Speaker 1: put up are gone and you said something about they
- 13:08Speaker 1: should do week one for people who care about the music,
- 13:12Speaker 1: because by the time Week two comes, and then by
- 13:14Speaker 1: the time stage Coach comes, the grounds are tore up,
- 13:16Speaker 1: like no grass, just dirt. But I think they do
- 13:22Speaker 1: it that way because all of the influencers are there
- 13:25Speaker 1: the first week and they're getting all this content where
- 13:28Speaker 1: it looks amazing exactly. So that's what I'm thinking. But
- 13:34Speaker 1: I mean, give it to give it to the people
- 13:36Speaker 1: who love the music. Give them the good grass while
- 13:39Speaker 1: they're sitting in it and enjoying with their blanket and
- 13:43Speaker 1: their significant other while they listen. And yeah, I don't know,
- 13:47Speaker 1: that's just my take. Give the music goers who like
- 13:51Speaker 1: are die hard the good grass. Well, stage coaches strictly
- 13:55Speaker 1: for people who love music, because there's only there's one week.
- 13:58Speaker 1: It's like, yeah, you come or you miss. I really
- 14:01Speaker 1: enjoy Stage Coach. Stage Coach was fun. I took so
- 14:04Speaker 1: so when she was in my belly. But weekend too,
- 14:07Speaker 1: Madonna came out with Sabrina Carpenter. It was Olivia Rodrigo
- 14:12Speaker 1: with Addison Ray. I can't believe how far Addison Ray
- 14:15Speaker 1: has come from just being she was like tworking that
- 14:16Speaker 1: ass on TikTok and sh ass on fucking stage. Big
- 14:20Speaker 1: Sean came out with Justin Bieber and then brought Billie
- 14:23Speaker 1: Eilish on stage, and Billy Eilish just turned into a
- 14:27Speaker 1: puddle and sobbed, and then she took a picture of
- 14:29Speaker 1: herself later and she was like, I'm still crying and
- 14:32Speaker 1: it was just like a close up of her red eyes. Yeah,
- 14:35Speaker 1: she's been like a mega fan for a really long time.
- 14:38Speaker 1: And isn't who isn't. No, we deeply here's the thing.
- 14:44Speaker 1: I just streamed it, so we'll get into that. But
- 14:47Speaker 1: was it amazing?
- 14:49Speaker 2: I mean, yeah, I saw clips. It's I don't know,
- 14:53Speaker 2: it's like he was reborn.
- 14:56Speaker 1: What do you mean in that moment in Weekend two
- 14:58Speaker 1: or I know, just all of like just everything that
- 15:02Speaker 1: he's gone through and I think like the Coachella stage
- 15:04Speaker 1: was his reborn. Like he's reborn. He sold all of
- 15:06Speaker 1: his old music. We get to see the new hymn
- 15:08Speaker 1: he was replaying songs. It's almost like, look like what
- 15:11Speaker 1: I sart, Like, look and see when I survived and
- 15:14Speaker 1: I'm still here. Oh my gosh, I have chills. Yeah, wow,
- 15:18Speaker 1: I have chills. Easton No, it was good. I wish,
- 15:21Speaker 1: I wish I would have gone. Okay, I could have Pablo.
- 15:28Speaker 1: I love you, dude. I felt too bad. We shouldn't
- 15:31Speaker 1: split the dogs. That was you and Mom. You guys
- 15:34Speaker 1: made that decision. And Mom was so concerned about Bernice.
- 15:37Speaker 1: She thought that she was going to go. She kept
- 15:39Speaker 1: going around the back side of the house and just
- 15:41Speaker 1: laying there. And if you guys have seen Marley and me,
- 15:45Speaker 1: that's what she goes outside to a tree to die.
- 15:48Speaker 1: I know that's what he was doing. We would get
- 15:50Speaker 1: ready to go and we would go to like the
- 15:53Speaker 1: house that was close to the grounds to go walk
- 15:56Speaker 1: to him, or like they golf carted in and I
- 15:59Speaker 1: was seconds away from getting on and I was like,
- 16:02Speaker 1: I in good, Like I can't do it. I have
- 16:06Speaker 1: to go back to him. Well, because there was a
- 16:08Speaker 1: day I think you talked about where he thought everyone
- 16:12Speaker 1: had left and you just heard him crying by me.
- 16:15Speaker 2: So we all went to get coffee and one of
- 16:18Speaker 2: my friends stayed back to start putting her makeup on
- 16:20Speaker 2: and get ready, and she just heard Pablo like in the.
- 16:24Speaker 1: Front room, just crying. Oh my gosh.
- 16:26Speaker 2: And then she said, Pablo and she heard him sprinting
- 16:29Speaker 2: to like the area, and then he went in and
- 16:31Speaker 2: started kissing her and then just sat down by her.
- 16:33Speaker 2: And when she and that was like Friday, oh no.
- 16:36Speaker 2: And once I heard that, I was like, I'm never
- 16:38Speaker 2: I can't leave this animal.
- 16:39Speaker 1: The next time, just leave him out. Yeah, well, mom
- 16:42Speaker 1: love her to death.
- 16:43Speaker 2: But she was like, Eastern with my ham like and
- 16:47Speaker 2: Lawrence are two dogs is like.
- 16:48Speaker 1: A lot with Lawrence surgery having like five weeks ago.
- 16:52Speaker 2: This is what I've been told, And she just said
- 16:54Speaker 2: it's just a lot. Do you would you mind taking one?
- 16:57Speaker 2: I was like yeah, all right, yeah, no, never again.
- 17:01Speaker 1: But then you also said that you were about to
- 17:03Speaker 1: go and you like went to this house party or
- 17:05Speaker 1: something as like a pre game. There's points where I
- 17:08Speaker 1: was like, I'm going to the festival and then I
- 17:10Speaker 1: would go to the pregame and like they're drinking, they're
- 17:14Speaker 1: doing extratracurricular activities, and deep down I was like, oh,
- 17:20Speaker 1: this is kind of what the whole night entails. Then
- 17:23Speaker 1: I was like, you know what, I Am gonna go home,
- 17:26Speaker 1: hang out with my dog. I got my fix of
- 17:28Speaker 1: hanging out with the people with the pregame, and then
- 17:31Speaker 1: I would go home and stream it, and can I
- 17:33Speaker 1: tell you the when I would see people's tiktoks when
- 17:38Speaker 1: they were like, Justin Bieber got done two hours ago,
- 17:42Speaker 1: still waiting for the bus to get out, I was like,
- 17:45Speaker 1: very happy I didn't go. They're just people who are
- 18:01Speaker 1: down for the cause and people who are not, And
- 18:03Speaker 1: it makes it much easier to be down for the
- 18:05Speaker 1: cause when you help ahead win no, and when you're
- 18:08Speaker 1: also a little fucked up. I did Coachella in my
- 18:11Speaker 1: twenties when I had first moved out here pretty much
- 18:14Speaker 1: every year, and there was nothing like it. It was magical,
- 18:18Speaker 1: but I was also heavily intoxicated, popping edibles, dancing around
- 18:23Speaker 1: the grounds, cackling my ass off, having the best time.
- 18:26Speaker 1: You think I'm worried about what time the bus gets here.
- 18:28Speaker 1: I don't even know where I am, let alone do
- 18:31Speaker 1: I understand the concept of time and how it works,
- 18:34Speaker 1: and sun ups, sun down all the same thing to me,
- 18:37Speaker 1: Like I want a different planet. That would be nice.
- 18:41Speaker 1: But I'm all here, baby, and I'm only thinking while
- 18:44Speaker 1: I'm watching the concert, or while if I would have
- 18:48Speaker 1: been watching it, I would have been thinking getting out
- 18:50Speaker 1: of here is going to suck. Exactly and then I
- 18:52Speaker 1: wouldn't even enjoy what's going on. Yeah, so I just
- 18:54Speaker 1: enjoyed it for myself. Basically, sobriety is living so far
- 18:58Speaker 1: beyond the moment you go into a panic and you
- 19:02Speaker 1: just end up staying home. It's great. I even at
- 19:06Speaker 1: the house too.
- 19:06Speaker 2: I walked to my buddy and I was like, I
- 19:09Speaker 2: don't want to be like a party pooper, but.
- 19:12Speaker 1: I may go home. And they were like, dude, do
- 19:14Speaker 1: you man? All of them were like you are such
- 19:19Speaker 1: an amazing guy, like to do that for your were
- 19:23Speaker 1: getting sober. That is the one thing. They were like, dude,
- 19:27Speaker 1: you want anything. I was like no, I'm like I didn't.
- 19:30Speaker 1: I'm not like, yeah, I'm sober. I was like, no,
- 19:32Speaker 1: I don't need anything. And then they'd ask you again,
- 19:34Speaker 1: and then I was like, I'm sober. And then after
- 19:36Speaker 1: thirty minutes, do you want to shot her anything? I'm sober? Oh? Yeah,
- 19:40Speaker 1: thirty minutes, so you need oh sober? Right, I'm gonna
- 19:45Speaker 1: get the fucking sober guy to go home. Bro. The
- 19:48Speaker 1: sober guy said he's leaving. Fuck. Yeah, You're like, fuck, dude, Yeah,
- 19:51Speaker 1: you're such a good guy. Enjoy that you're such a
- 19:53Speaker 1: go to your dog. Dude, you're fucking amazing. He left.
- 19:58Speaker 1: They were like, God, the fucking buzz kill. By the way,
- 20:01Speaker 1: I get it. I was killing it. I've been a
- 20:05Speaker 1: drinker and all the things, and the moment someone would
- 20:07Speaker 1: come in and be like, yeah, I'm just not gonna
- 20:08Speaker 1: drink tonight, I'm like, how do we get them? Oh,
- 20:13Speaker 1: I'm never calling them again. I did. They killed my
- 20:16Speaker 1: buzz before the real fun even kicked intch. So we
- 20:21Speaker 1: went to Senjara, which was so fun. They did have
- 20:25Speaker 1: like patron little cute lanyard things that they filled up
- 20:30Speaker 1: so you could wear it around your neck and it
- 20:31Speaker 1: looked like a little patron. So they walked up, they
- 20:34Speaker 1: grabbed him and they go and I was like, all right,
- 20:36Speaker 1: start chugging. And the guy looked at me and he goes,
- 20:38Speaker 1: are you sober? I was like, oh no, back to it.
- 20:41Speaker 1: Doesn't know. Yeah, I know. I'll make other people drink.
- 20:44Speaker 1: I'll be the first one to get everybody because everyone
- 20:46Speaker 1: I'm fun not drinking, but like, you need so much exactly,
- 20:50Speaker 1: I feel the exact same way, Like you don't have
- 20:52Speaker 1: to tell me. Okay, So how was that party? Apparently
- 20:57Speaker 1: they do that every weekend. It was Froday Saturday, Sunday. No,
- 21:01Speaker 1: but they do it every weekend in the desert. There's
- 21:03Speaker 1: always a party there. It was I mean, it was fun.
- 21:06Speaker 1: If I'm not a big d M or what is
- 21:10Speaker 1: the other one, like house music type stuff, house music.
- 21:13Speaker 1: I can get along with a house music electronic dance music.
- 21:18Speaker 2: I think house is not as aggressive as e DM. Okay,
- 21:22Speaker 2: correct me if I'm wrong.
- 21:23Speaker 1: I don't. I don't know, but I'm not like into
- 21:25Speaker 1: like the diplo or marshmallow or like meat meat meat,
- 21:29Speaker 1: meat meat eat. It's like, oh god, So that was
- 21:34Speaker 1: going on. It was fun.
- 21:35Speaker 2: It was really fun, but like lights are blaring. I'm
- 21:39Speaker 2: guessing if you were on drugs, it was that's what
- 21:41Speaker 2: it's meant for.
- 21:42Speaker 1: Yeah, so me sober. I had another sober homie. Okay,
- 21:46Speaker 1: so we were just like walking around and after like
- 21:48Speaker 1: an hour and a half, I was like, I want
- 21:50Speaker 1: to get the hell out of here or what.
- 21:52Speaker 2: And it's what was so crazy is I was talking
- 21:55Speaker 2: to the other friends we were with and I looked
- 21:57Speaker 2: at them and the clock is at two o'clock in
- 21:59Speaker 2: the morning. The party closes at four, but then they
- 22:03Speaker 2: have an after right next to it that opens at five. Yeah,
- 22:06Speaker 2: so people were just going to that and I was like,
- 22:08Speaker 2: what's crazy is I'm looking at the clock thinking it
- 22:11Speaker 2: is two am. They were looking at it panning, like
- 22:15Speaker 2: it's only two am.
- 22:17Speaker 1: Wait? Really? Yeah, That's when I knew I had to
- 22:20Speaker 1: get home. We were on different rails, Like, I was like,
- 22:23Speaker 1: iddi's and two and they were like, yeah, it's only two.
- 22:25Speaker 1: It's like, oh, we're different boats. Different boats. You know
- 22:30Speaker 1: what's wild is. I don't know if it's sobriety, if
- 22:32Speaker 1: it's children, if it's a combination. But I look back
- 22:36Speaker 1: and think like I used to be so much fun,
- 22:39Speaker 1: And now when I look at the clock and let's
- 22:43Speaker 1: just say it says seven forty five, and I think
- 22:45Speaker 1: it's a coming, I'm gonna watch Housewives. That's the game plan.
- 22:49Speaker 1: I'm gonna catch up on Housewives. And it's seven forty five,
- 22:51Speaker 1: I think that's gonna put me at eight forty five
- 22:54Speaker 1: almost nine. Rap time. Then I want to do my
- 22:59Speaker 1: nighttime routine, which is three hours for me. It's a
- 23:02Speaker 1: long time. I just bitter pattern here. Yeah. I dick around.
- 23:06Speaker 1: I dick around until I dig around. I go in
- 23:16Speaker 1: and out of my bathroom probably a hundred times, and
- 23:19Speaker 1: I don't even know why. I'll put a movie on.
- 23:21Speaker 1: I'll walk in my bathroom and it'll make me laugh,
- 23:23Speaker 1: and I'll go back out rewind it and rewatch it
- 23:25Speaker 1: while I'm like doing something, and then I'll walk back
- 23:27Speaker 1: in laughing. Yeah. Like I'll look and see a split
- 23:29Speaker 1: end and I'm like, I'm gonna trip my split ends now.
- 23:31Speaker 1: And then I'm like, you know what, I'm gonna put
- 23:33Speaker 1: some oil in my hair. You know what, I'm gonna
- 23:35Speaker 1: do some sort of T Tree mask, like T Tree
- 23:37Speaker 1: oil mask. I have the best time, but by the
- 23:40Speaker 1: time I think about all of that, then I'm exhausted.
- 23:44Speaker 1: Like I don't have to I don't have time to
- 23:45Speaker 1: watch Out's Wife. I got to start now the dicking around.
- 23:49Speaker 1: And by the way, you guys know, I've had a
- 23:51Speaker 1: huge addiction to Unison for the past. I want to say,
- 23:55Speaker 1: like once my life took a turn and I just
- 23:57Speaker 1: couldn't sleep, Unison became my best friend. And I've never
- 24:01Speaker 1: experienced like especially when like I'm having a very very
- 24:06Speaker 1: stressful day and I know how it's going to end,
- 24:08Speaker 1: I'm not gonna be able to sleep. I'll finally fall asleep,
- 24:11Speaker 1: wake up with a pit in my stomach, sheer panic
- 24:14Speaker 1: around three am, and then the whole entire night of
- 24:17Speaker 1: sleep is shot. Anyway, I have been back and forth
- 24:22Speaker 1: with my liver enzymes being extremely high. And what's wild
- 24:26Speaker 1: is when I go in to have the initial blood draw,
- 24:30Speaker 1: it comes back with them being super high, and so
- 24:33Speaker 1: then they go back and test it and they've dropped
- 24:36Speaker 1: to normal. And this happened twice. It happened when I
- 24:39Speaker 1: had to up my insurance or my life insurance for
- 24:42Speaker 1: the kids, and then when I had my surgery, and
- 24:47Speaker 1: I let them know, like I haven't had a drink
- 24:49Speaker 1: in over seven and a half years, so like, let's
- 24:52Speaker 1: also take that into consideration, and then all of my Actually,
- 24:57Speaker 1: when I was talking to my guy for the lif
- 25:00Speaker 1: life insurance, he was like, Lala, like you got you
- 25:02Speaker 1: can tell me if you've been drinking. And I was like, no,
- 25:05Speaker 1: I have not had a sip of alcohol. I was like,
- 25:07Speaker 1: I'm actually concerned about that because something's going on. So
- 25:10Speaker 1: I went to a specialist and he was like, what
- 25:13Speaker 1: are you taking? And I told them all of my
- 25:15Speaker 1: supplements and I said, and I've been taking Unison and
- 25:17Speaker 1: he said, and how long have you been taking unis
- 25:19Speaker 1: on for I gave him the timeline. He goes, Okay,
- 25:21Speaker 1: that's not going to affect the liver, but like you
- 25:22Speaker 1: should definitely stop doing that because there's something in it
- 25:25Speaker 1: where consecutive use, long term use their you know, science
- 25:31Speaker 1: is showing that you could get early onset dementia. I
- 25:35Speaker 1: was like, whoa, holy shit, don't love that. You know,
- 25:39Speaker 1: we have no control over what the fuck is going
- 25:41Speaker 1: to happen to us in the future. So I'm going
- 25:43Speaker 1: to try to like curtail it as much as I
- 25:44Speaker 1: possibly can. Anyway, I have this concoction that I take. Now,
- 25:51Speaker 1: you guys are going to die. So I started off
- 25:54Speaker 1: right before I brush my teeth with two Lemmy sleep gummies,
- 26:00Speaker 1: brush my teeth, get into the bed, get prepped right
- 26:04Speaker 1: put my show on. Take two magnesium. I like Thorn Brand,
- 26:08Speaker 1: Thorn with an E. I take all of their vitamins.
- 26:11Speaker 1: It's like my new brand, take two. And then right
- 26:15Speaker 1: before I know, it's like time to close the eyes,
- 26:18Speaker 1: I'm ask sign fell down to volume five on the
- 26:23Speaker 1: TV no, because it just clocks out. It just it
- 26:27Speaker 1: just stops playing. Are you still watching? And you're not,
- 26:30Speaker 1: and I'm I have the mask on, so I don't
- 26:33Speaker 1: fucking know. I take one more, so I'm on two
- 26:37Speaker 1: let me sleep coummies. Three magnesium. Yeah, maybe we talk. Wait,
- 26:40Speaker 1: really is that bad I take? I take two sleep
- 26:44Speaker 1: gummies because it says to take two. Yeah, and that's
- 26:48Speaker 1: all I take when I take thirty minutes before bed
- 26:51Speaker 1: and if I can't sleep, well whatever. The magnesium is
- 26:55Speaker 1: fine because on the bottle it says take four a day.
- 26:59Speaker 1: Uh oh, I don't take that. Have you ever tried
- 27:02Speaker 1: z quill. I'm not taking z there's an alcohol in it.
- 27:05Speaker 1: It doesn't matter if there's alcohol in it, I trust.
- 27:09Speaker 1: I just don't know that that would be literally for sleep.
- 27:12Speaker 1: It's for sleep. But what the problem is, Easan is
- 27:14Speaker 1: I have a problem sleeping every single night. So taking
- 27:19Speaker 1: zquill is for people who maybe have a rough night
- 27:23Speaker 1: of sleep like that also is not for long term use.
- 27:27Speaker 1: I go to bed actually pretty late. Yeah, I just
- 27:32Speaker 1: like to start the unwind process, getting in my zone,
- 27:36Speaker 1: like looking at my schedule for the next day, getting everything.
- 27:40Speaker 1: Because I was about to.
- 27:41Speaker 2: Say, because me and you have been like texting at
- 27:43Speaker 2: like ten thirty or eleven even just about like podcasts.
- 27:46Speaker 2: So I'm like, wow, you went to bed at nine,
- 27:48Speaker 2: but she's still up to all right.
- 27:50Speaker 1: Yeah, I don't feel as bad. No, the unwine process
- 27:53Speaker 1: and you guys know, who are parents like when you
- 27:56Speaker 1: have to be boots on the ground all day long
- 28:00Speaker 1: and the kids had a fucking long day yesterday it
- 28:04Speaker 1: was like swim lessons gymnastics. When I tell you Sosa
- 28:08Speaker 1: was knocked out by six ocean in bed by six
- 28:11Speaker 1: forty five and completely knocked out. I had a heyday.
- 28:14Speaker 1: I was like, this is the best time of my life.
- 28:17Speaker 1: But you like, you need that downtime. No, yeah, you
- 28:21Speaker 1: really do.
- 28:21Speaker 2: But that's why revenge sleep is actually a term because
- 28:25Speaker 2: everybody's doing it.
- 28:27Speaker 1: You all need some U time. We all need us time.
- 28:31Speaker 1: Do you feel like once you left Coachella and now
- 28:33Speaker 1: that you're home that you are powered down? Like I
- 28:36Speaker 1: know you had a great time, but do you feel
- 28:38Speaker 1: like you really yeah, like that's so yeah. I've been
- 28:42Speaker 1: telling you though, like I needed to do things like this,
- 28:45Speaker 1: you know, like I E, yeah, you're identifying. Yeah, but no,
- 28:49Speaker 1: it was fun.
- 28:50Speaker 2: I got I did the best of everything I did
- 28:52Speaker 2: the little pregame, so I got like everybody's energy, good conversation.
- 28:56Speaker 1: Once it started to loop, I was the fuck out. Yeah.
- 28:58Speaker 1: And then after you know, there were there were like
- 29:01Speaker 1: little after parties, and even if there weren't, we would
- 29:03Speaker 1: go to somebody's house and just like hang out and
- 29:04Speaker 1: chill for a bit, and a couple of people came
- 29:07Speaker 1: over to the house and we sat in the hot tub,
- 29:08Speaker 1: like four or five of us. So there were just
- 29:10Speaker 1: like little things that we did. But like I was
- 29:13Speaker 1: usually asleep by one. So you feel like you got
- 29:16Speaker 1: the best of both worlds. You got to like go
- 29:18Speaker 1: out and have social time, experience things that Coachella had
- 29:22Speaker 1: to offer, but also took time to retreat.
- 29:25Speaker 2: And yes, do you're saying and I think that, I
- 29:27Speaker 2: mean not even when we went to Salt Lake for
- 29:31Speaker 2: like nine days or I did.
- 29:32Speaker 1: Oh my god.
- 29:33Speaker 2: Yeah, Like there is I like being around a lot
- 29:36Speaker 2: of people, but I also like being around no one.
- 29:39Speaker 1: Yeah. It's like you reverted extrovert, where like you you
- 29:43Speaker 1: can be a social butterfly, but you take on a
- 29:45Speaker 1: lot of energy, so once it's over, you have you
- 29:50Speaker 1: recharge alone. Yeah. Yeah, so I'm that same way, and
- 29:54Speaker 1: Mom's not. She can have twenty four to seven together daylight.
- 29:57Speaker 2: I need to just like go and decompress alone, I know,
- 30:00Speaker 2: So I had to have that. I was like, I
- 30:02Speaker 2: don't need to go with all of that.
- 30:05Speaker 1: Right, Like I my time with you guys.
- 30:06Speaker 2: Yeah, and like like we said, there's they're all on something.
- 30:09Speaker 2: I'm not trying to put in twenty thousand steps to
- 30:13Speaker 2: like just be you know, twenty thousand sits always. But yes,
- 30:18Speaker 2: I feel recharged. I feel rejuvenated. I feel very creative
- 30:22Speaker 2: because I was like doing that and just like yeah,
- 30:24Speaker 2: meandering on the computer.
- 30:26Speaker 1: Yeah, I feel good. I feel great good. Yeah that
- 30:29Speaker 1: makes me happy.
- 30:29Speaker 2: I feel bad because when I came home, I was
- 30:31Speaker 2: like just for next week, and I was like, all right,
- 30:34Speaker 2: that's why I feel bad about because Lisa's hip surgery
- 30:38Speaker 2: and I'm like, well, I just had this weekend.
- 30:40Speaker 1: Yeah she's having but yeah, but that's different because you're
- 30:45Speaker 1: only going to be gone a few hours. And I
- 30:47Speaker 1: have heard so our mom's having hip surgery. She's got
- 30:49Speaker 1: like bone on bone arthritis type shit happening. And I've
- 30:53Speaker 1: heard that the surgery is actually great and life changing.
- 30:57Speaker 1: But obviously surgery is scary to go, Like, yeah, put
- 31:00Speaker 1: in I had to get her like a toilet seat
- 31:02Speaker 1: that's elevated, and I had to get her like it's
- 31:05Speaker 1: a workout step stool to get out of the bed.
- 31:08Speaker 1: Something for the couch so that she doesn't ever move
- 31:10Speaker 1: her legs higher than a ninety degree angle. You didn't
- 31:14Speaker 1: need to worry about that anyway. No, when you sit,
- 31:16Speaker 1: when you sit down in your leg your bum kind
- 31:18Speaker 1: of goes down in your legs when you puts your legs. Yeah.
- 31:21Speaker 1: So no, I'm glad that you had the best time.
- 31:25Speaker 1: We missed you. I've been in a funky spot. I'm
- 31:28Speaker 1: hoping to get out of it. Yeah you know what, Yeah,
- 31:32Speaker 1: well it's fine. Hopefully I made you feel better. Yes,
- 31:35Speaker 1: I told you. I heard the door open and I
- 31:38Speaker 1: was like, well, no, even just be being me with
- 31:40Speaker 1: just over just guys being guys. You know. Yeah, it's
- 31:44Speaker 1: a lot though. I'm like, how was I so open
- 31:49Speaker 1: for the universe to bring me something? Then? And it
- 31:51Speaker 1: brings me something and I'm like, really, this is what
- 31:54Speaker 1: you brought No, it's great. It's just when you open
- 31:59Speaker 1: yourself up to like bringing another person into your world.
- 32:02Speaker 1: This is what makes me nervous. Is it's like, oh,
- 32:05Speaker 1: there are times that like I'm gonna be let down
- 32:08Speaker 1: and I have no control. And there are couples who
- 32:10Speaker 1: have been together for twenty plus years, and I'm sure
- 32:13Speaker 1: after twenty plus years there are moments that each person
- 32:16Speaker 1: could recall to be like, yeah, I was disappointed at
- 32:18Speaker 1: in that moment, or yeah, I've contemplated divorce at that moment,
- 32:23Speaker 1: and then they work through it and then I wrote
- 32:25Speaker 1: it out. Yeah. Yeah. But because I am kind of
- 32:28Speaker 1: new to this, there are sometimes curveballs where I'm like,
- 32:32Speaker 1: I've been operating by myself for so long, like even
- 32:36Speaker 1: with my ex, like he was never fucking around. I've
- 32:39Speaker 1: I've been emotionally single, I feel for probably ten years,
- 32:44Speaker 1: like real single for going into the fifth So when
- 32:47Speaker 1: you're by yourself, like no one rocks being a third
- 32:50Speaker 1: wheel better than I do. I thrive as a third
- 32:52Speaker 1: wheel and now that pressure no pressure. But also like
- 32:56Speaker 1: even when I had my person, I was kind of alone,
- 32:58Speaker 1: so it just still still third wheeling, not even associated
- 33:03Speaker 1: with this guy. Yeah, but now I'm going into this
- 33:06Speaker 1: new phase of life where I'm like, Okay, this is
- 33:09Speaker 1: what we told the universe that we were open to,
- 33:11Speaker 1: and I'm having to do a lot of learning and
- 33:14Speaker 1: relearning and trauma work. And I'm obviously not perfect. I
- 33:22Speaker 1: can stop the yard pretty fucking quick when I feel
- 33:25Speaker 1: a certain way. All I'm having now to reel it
- 33:28Speaker 1: in because I certainly don't want to traumatize anybody. Just
- 33:31Speaker 1: a lot. It's just a lot. I'm tired. I would like,
- 33:33Speaker 1: I don't want to traumatize anyone. Welcome back. Do you
- 33:47Speaker 1: have an ache and relief t T I'm going to
- 33:50Speaker 1: start us off, Yeah, start us off, Start us off.
- 33:53Speaker 1: So my ache was definitely having one of the members
- 33:57Speaker 1: of the family gone. You were missed, your energy was missed. Yeah,
- 34:02Speaker 1: there were so many times I'm like, I just need
- 34:04Speaker 1: to like go to the backhouse and just like talk
- 34:05Speaker 1: it out with Easton. Not the same. And then I
- 34:16Speaker 1: want to say that my relief was WrestleMania, which I
- 34:19Speaker 1: told you all about and I want to go every year.
- 34:21Speaker 1: It was a magical experience. I appreciated the fans, like
- 34:26Speaker 1: that those fans are fucking everything and very welcoming. Yeah.
- 34:30Speaker 1: Amber and I were like, we've never been, and they
- 34:32Speaker 1: were like, oh my gosh, it's amazing. Let us know
- 34:34Speaker 1: if you have any questions. They were like so cute.
- 34:37Speaker 1: I love that, and there were a lot of like
- 34:40Speaker 1: pro athletes that are into wrestling, like football players and
