But today we're switching gears. We're going to talk about emotions. Luna: Emotions? Like how we feel? That's useful. Lucas: Exactly. Let's start with the basics. In Telugu, 'happiness' or 'happy' is సంతోషం. Luna: సంతోషం. Lucas: Great! 'Sadness' or 'sad' is బాధ. Luna: బాధ. Lucas: And 'anger' or 'angry' is కోపం. Luna: కోపం. Ooh, that sounds strong. Lucas: It is! Now let's put them into sentences. To say 'I am happy', you say నేను సంతోషంగా ఉన్నాను. Luna: నేను సంతోషంగా ఉన్నాను. Hmm, that's a bit longer. Lucas: Break it down: నేను means 'I', సంతోషంగా is 'happily', and ఉన్నాను means 'am'. So literally 'I am happily'. Luna: Oh, so the word for happy changes form a bit. సంతోషం becomes సంతోషంగా.
