Latest / Brandon Fogal Evolution / #284 - Tucker & Buckley Carlson: From Trump Allies to Candace Conspiracies—What’s Happening?
Transcript
- 0:00Tucker Carlson and his brother got to sit down yesterday and discussed a lot of crazy issues.
- 0:06They started off pretty subtle, pretty low key, talked about how Buckley Carlson
- 0:10came from a massive Trump supporter to becoming against the president at this point.
- 0:16And you could say Tucker Carlson is there as well.
- 0:18I have noticed that over time, it seems like everybody eventually turns on Donald Trump.
- 0:24It seems like that. And is it like, is it better to be a Trump supporter or
- 0:29a former Trump supporter?
- 0:31I would say it's almost, it's kind of embarrassing to be a former Trump supporter.
- 0:35But I mean, I don't think you need to completely turn away from the man.
- 0:39Call it out. Call him out if things are wrong. But don't look through a lens
- 0:43of like, I'm against the President Trump.
- 0:48I'm against him. So I'm going to have Trump derangement syndrome and think that
- 0:52everything he does is wrong.
- 0:54And I think that that's where both of these men have went.
- 0:57But the conversation turned when they started discussing conspiratorial issues
- 1:02regarding Charlie Kirk, his assassination, and then also they got into Islam, and I thought,
- 1:10I heard some of the takes that I heard from Tucker Carlson, especially when
- 1:13they got into the Charlie Kirk issue, where they got into the story.
- 1:15He went off the rails. I've never seen him be this disconnected with reality
- 1:20as he is when he got into this. We're going to take a look at this first clip.
- 1:24So, you know, it's the Norse heaven. It's a pagan understanding of heaven. Yes. Right?
- 1:29So, Charlie Kirk is a serious, orthodox, you know, lowercase O, Christian.
- 1:35He's like a real Bible-believing Christian. Yes. He does not believe in Valhalla.
- 1:38He rejects Valhalla. Yes. Like, that's ridiculous, actually,
- 1:41to say that about a Christian man. Valhalla? Yes.
- 1:44No, we're monotheists who believe in Jesus. There's no Valhalla in my world.
- 1:47Yes. Why would you say that?
- 1:49And no one's ever held him to account. He's never felt compelled to explain
- 1:52that. Or the emphasis on 33.
- 1:54It took 33 hours to bring this guy to justice. And then he repeated it several times.
- 1:58All right. I have this in a pretty sped up version.
- 2:02And Tucker, he takes even here a long time to even respond to this.
- 2:06He does not want to take that bait that his brother puts before him to go down that road.
- 2:12I don't know. I literally have no idea. So everything surrounding it creates,
- 2:16obviously, unrest and disillusionment and anger.
- 2:20Can I say my favorite line? We had dinner with Russell Brand at home last night.
- 2:23Obviously, you were there.
- 2:23And his line that, you know, the thing about lone gunmen is they always seem
- 2:29to assassinate people who challenge institutional power. It's kind of amazing.
- 2:33Your average lone gunman just goes out, who knows why, and kills people who
- 2:37are criticizing the people in charge.
- 2:39Maybe the people in charge should connect with the lone gunman community.
- 2:42Kind of like McDonald's and Coca-Cola got together. It's just like a natural
- 2:45partnership. Have they ever thought of that? That's great.
- 2:48So this was almost the worst take I've ever heard from Tucker Carlson right there.
- 2:54I don't know if I've really ever heard him say anything crazier than this.
- 2:57Because he's going down a trail of what political institution was Charlie Kirk
- 3:05attacking? What was he going at?
- 3:10He stood with Donald Trump. He stood with the president. He got him elected into office.
- 3:14The most vehement Israel supporter there is, to the day he died,
- 3:21he was an Israel supporter.
- 3:23He questioned a couple of things, and he wasn't afraid to do that about the
- 3:28government of Israel, but he stood with Israel.
- 3:30So what political government or institution was he challenging?
- 3:35So this is where it kind of goes off the rails because they're bringing up,
- 3:39you know, Kash Patel said some nutso things out there.
- 3:41You know, I'll see you in Valhalla, Charlie.
- 3:45That's not in the Christian worldview. But I mean, so what does that mean?
- 3:50Like, so because he's there, because Kash Patel has been put into that office,
- 3:54to that position that he's somehow orchestrating all this.
- 3:57All this is just as Candace Owens nutso conspiracy land. That's all it is.
- 4:03There's no actually, why would they do this? If they actually,
- 4:07our government, our government put something together and they made all this
- 4:11happen, they put everyone in place, they colluded with Israel,
- 4:14they got everyone there and did all this and it worked out perfectly.
- 4:20But the question is, why? Why would they do that? What would be the point of it?
- 4:26Because he was supporting Trump. He was supporting the government in place right
- 4:32now for us in the U.S. and then also he backed and supported Israel,
- 4:36it makes no logical sense.
- 4:39And to say that there's all these lone gunmans are out there.
- 4:43They do these, they're challenging.
- 4:45I know Russell Brand just said something probably flippant or whatever.
- 4:48I would have liked to have seen what happened at that dinner table,
- 4:51but just be, you can say something crazy doesn't make it true. It doesn't.
- 4:58Land on reality at all where we're at. It doesn't make sense.
- 5:02There's no follow through.
- 5:03There's nothing actually behind it. It's just shouting out nutso things because
- 5:08you're almost, you're turning away from Trump now because I'm turning away from Trump.
- 5:12I'm going to go down this crazy rabbit trail that Candace Owens has put up there
- 5:16for everyone. It doesn't make sense.
- 5:17On this next one, they're going to get into actually the whole issue with Islam
- 5:23and Tucker being sympathetic with Islam.
- 5:26Has he gone down that road? Have you been noticing that?
- 5:30I've noticed in that. Why is he almost so offended for Islam and people that are Muslims?
- 5:36I mean, that's kind of the question. The only people he's been loyal to are
- 5:40the neocons and his donors.
- 5:42So he's attacked, you know, so he attacks Islam. So I'm going to stand up and
- 5:46say, probably shouldn't be attacking a religion. Oh, you're a Muslim,
- 5:49secret Muslim. You love Muslims.
- 5:52I like reverence, and I don't think you should attack people on the basis of
- 5:54their religion. You don't attack their religion. Yes.
- 5:56And all these evangelicals are like, oh, I see you're a Muslim.
- 5:59The next week, he attacks Jesus.
- 6:01Okay, because it's all connected, right? Clearly. Of course.
- 6:04Well beyond money, obviously. Well, right. But the one person he's never going
- 6:08to attack is Rebbe Schneerson. Yes.
- 6:10And the Chabad leader who's passed, who I'm not attacking, by the way,
- 6:14but who was regarded as the Messiah by many of his followers.
- 6:17I don't think Trump should attack him, to be clear.
- 6:20But Trump would never attack him. that's the one messiah he will
- 6:22never attack so like what is that tell am
- 6:26i wrong no you're not wrong it's totally cool to attack jesus oh it's
- 6:29a joke i'm a i was saying i was a doctor i
- 6:32heal people well that's what how jesus described himself by the way you're still
- 6:34you're attacking jesus yes no demonstrably so we did obviously on a sunday you're
- 6:37attacking jesus on a sunday it's totally fine but we i like i've said before
- 6:41i didn't see it like as that i'm a christian and i i thought trump shouldn't
- 6:45have done that i that him putting that picture out there AI-generated photo
- 6:49of him looking like Jesus.
- 6:51I don't think Trump knew what he was doing. I really honestly don't think he
- 6:54knew what he was doing. I thought he just put something out there.
- 6:56It came, you do realize how much this man posts, which is crazy in itself.
- 7:01He probably has a team of people.
- 7:03There, but he probably just saw it and just put it out there.
- 7:06He's not that connected with the New Testament and the depiction of Jesus as we're given.
- 7:11He probably really thought, he probably didn't even think about it,
- 7:14but he does seem like he lies.
- 7:16He lies, but I mean, and I guess in that office, he feels like he,
- 7:20I've known people, people that are real, seem like good people that just lie.
- 7:25They just, that's because maybe God hasn't reached them there.
- 7:29I'm not saying that Trump is a Christian at this point, but to say that he was
- 7:33attacking Jesus by posting that, I don't really see it there.
- 7:37I don't think he was attacking Jesus.
- 7:39He might've been doing something blasphemous saying that he is that,
- 7:42but I don't think he really was doing that.
- 7:45I don't think he was making a point that I'm Jesus.
- 7:48I'm healing everyone and I'm healing because I'm Jesus.
- 7:51He probably saw a picture of
- 7:54him putting his hands on someone and healing them and
- 7:56thinking he's a doctor and he maybe he didn't connect
- 7:59the dots i don't think trump in the real and in his mind
- 8:02and his his like probably goes
- 8:06100 miles per hour mind i don't think he was thinking about that and which is
- 8:10it shows it's like exactly that specific fact because he pulled it down he didn't
- 8:16leave it out there the next day he pulled it down he doesn't just pull down
- 8:20anything he posts really Rarely does he ever do that.
- 8:23And he knew he was, that he'd done something wrong and he, that it was going
- 8:27to be a big issue for Christians.
- 8:30So I, but I don't see him as attacking Christians in that.
- 8:33But what Tucker Carlson is doing, he is very offended for people that are Muslims,
- 8:38very offended for people that are of Islamic faith, which I don't think we should
- 8:43necessarily just make fun of anybody's faith because they believe,
- 8:46believe whatever they are, wherever they're at.
- 8:48And even all Christians, we want to extend grace to everyone because we understand
- 8:54we want them to embrace Jesus Christ and to make fun of someone's faith because
- 8:58they're Muslim or because they're whatever, fill in the blank.
- 9:03Mormon, I don't even know, anything, any other religion that it's not exactly
- 9:06what is delivered through Christ.
- 9:10If you want to make fun of everyone else, you're not going to do a good job
- 9:13of bringing them to Jesus.
- 9:15You're going to just be pushing them away and being just polarizing for the
- 9:19fact of being polarizing.
- 9:21So I understand what Tucker's saying there, but it does seem like he is just
- 9:24going back and forth. He is offended for Islam.
- 9:27He's somewhat offended for Christians, and he's really upset that Trump's not
- 9:32going to do this for the Jewish people.
- 9:35And I'm not saying that. I don't want to slander. I don't want to slander.
- 9:38I don't want to say that Tucker is specifically saying that because he completely backed out of that.
- 9:42But if that's where your head goes, if that's where you say you can attack Muslims
- 9:48but you can't attack Jews, why are you even hinting at people attacking Jews or what their faith is?
- 9:54But I'll say it. whoever he's talking about, Rabbi, and I have to look him up,
- 10:00Sneerson, a guy, he passed away in the 90s, probably a very well-respected rabbi
- 10:04for the Jewish people, which is great, but he's not the Messiah.
- 10:08And I think that the best grace that any Christian or any person can do is just
- 10:13tell people, yeah, that's not the Messiah.
- 10:14He's not the Messiah, but we still want to give respect to whom respect is due.
- 10:18Just like Jesus did. He gave respect to whom respect was due.
- 10:22And the apostle Paul said, honor those who are in authority,
- 10:24respect those who are in authority.
- 10:26So I just see it as Tucker is just kind of, he's going off on these conspiracy
- 10:30theories, which I'm all for conspiracy theory.
- 10:32I'm not as much as I used to be because the fun has been sucked out of it.
- 10:38And when he went down the, the Charlie, uh, Charlie Kirk route and he was just
- 10:43like, I don't understand how he could just talk just so flippantly.
- 10:47And like, like I'm not, he, Charlie
- 10:50kirk is still his his wife is still here his children are still here and just
- 10:55to even come to that that topic and to be just so like not even the seriousness
- 11:02and the gravity of it and to be just laughing i i tucker knew char charlie,
- 11:08I did not know Charlie personally, but I do, I feel squeamish myself just even going about that.
- 11:14And if anyone can come to that in the assassination, what happened,
- 11:18obviously Charlie's in a better place now, but it's still, it's the people that he's left behind.
- 11:24Whatever you say is going to be damaging to them and hurtful to them.
- 11:28And it's like, if I, if my, one of my, my best friends, my friends died,
- 11:33I don't think I could come to a point where I'm just laughing around the circumstances
- 11:36of what happened, no matter whatever trail I'm going down.
- 11:40And it seems like Tucker's easily doing that. And it seems kind of weird.
- 11:44But just the whole, the whole deal with what's going on there.
- 11:47I, I, I, I just think that Tucker is, he's, he's taking his ball and he's running home.
- 11:52He's been, he, he kept fighting up against president Trump.
- 11:56And then at a certain point, Trump returned the favor and he lashed out against him.
- 12:01And now Tucker, I don't know where he's going to go from here because your audience,
- 12:05I like are mostly going to be Trump supporters, people.
- 12:09And it's not that you have to be that. I don't think you necessarily have to
- 12:12be that. I have been that, but I still will call Donald Trump on things that
- 12:16if he's doing wrong and I don't agree with.
- 12:18But it's like some people just think it's all black and white.
- 12:21We can't be like calls, call things out that are wrong and say things that are right. Right.
- 12:27I think we all just go to the extreme end of whatever version we think people want to see.
- 12:33So we just go, we gravitate to that instead of just, we're all regular people.
- 12:39And just since I brought that up, I did want to say real life is certainly boring at times.
- 12:46And I sometimes think that this digital world that we live in,
- 12:50it's almost more interesting. And I almost I don't like real life in a lot of
- 12:54ways, which is kind of I don't I don't always like to say that.
- 12:56But besides my family and friends, I don't necessarily like real life. Real life is boring.
- 13:02And I think that people get sucked into this. And it's it's almost like where
- 13:06we are going. We are going into full fledged digital mode.
- 13:10And maybe we should resist that at times, maybe, but it's so appealing.
- 13:14And maybe that's that, uh, maybe that's Satan trying to draw us in,
- 13:17trying to draw us all into the matrix.
- 13:19Maybe don't, maybe don't, don't give up your soul into that,
- 13:23which we got to resist at times. We got to resist it.
- 13:26All right, we'll leave it at that. Uh, let me know what you think.
- 13:28Are you still, are you think that Tucker calling these things out is a good thing? Is it wrong?
- 13:33Where do you stand on this? You drop a comment. Let me know.
- 13:36Have a good day, everyone.
