- 0:00Speaker 1: One of the most terrifying verses in the Bible is
- 0:02Speaker 1: found when Jesus speaks about those who will be rejected
- 0:05Speaker 1: when they stand before the King of kings. He says, verily,
- 0:10Speaker 1: I say unto you, I know you not Matthew twenty
- 0:13Speaker 1: five twelve. Imagine working for a company for years, speaking
- 0:17Speaker 1: on behalf of the owner and representing it in different places,
- 0:21Speaker 1: only to return to the office and hear who are you?
- 0:26Speaker 1: The feeling of rejection would certainly be accompanied by fear, shock,
- 0:30Speaker 1: and disbelief. Sadly, this will happen when many people come
- 0:34Speaker 1: face to face with the Creator. Paul understood how dreadful
- 0:38Speaker 1: it would be to hear from his Lord and friend,
- 0:40Speaker 1: I never knew you. Therefore, he wrote about the need
- 0:43Speaker 1: to focus on what truly matters and on spiritual discipline.
- 0:48Speaker 1: Know ye not that they which run and a race run,
- 0:50Speaker 1: all but one receiveth the prize. So run that ye
- 0:54Speaker 1: may obtain. And every man that striveth for the mastery
- 0:58Speaker 1: is temperate in all things. Now they do it to
- 1:01Speaker 1: obtain a corruptible crown, But we an incorruptible Verse Corinthians
- 1:06Speaker 1: nine twenty four twenty five. Paul reminds us that in
- 1:10Speaker 1: the race of faith we all run, but we must
- 1:13Speaker 1: run in such a way as to obtain the eternal prize.
- 1:17Speaker 1: Discipline and rigorous training are essential, for we are not
- 1:21Speaker 1: fighting for a perishable crown, but for an eternal one.
- 1:24Speaker 1: I therefore so run, not as uncertainly so fight. I
- 1:28Speaker 1: not as one that beateth the air, but I keep
- 1:31Speaker 1: under my body and bring it into subjection, lest that
- 1:35Speaker 1: by any means, when I have preached to others, I
- 1:38Speaker 1: myself should be a castaway Firs. Corinthians nine twenty six,
- 1:42Speaker 1: twenty seven. Nothing should be more important for every believer
- 1:46Speaker 1: than the pleasure and acceptance of our King, not the
- 1:49Speaker 1: applause of men, titles, fame, temporary pleasures, and certainly not
- 1:54Speaker 1: material gain. The truth is that life should not be
- 1:58Speaker 1: lived according to our own terms or standards, but in
- 2:01Speaker 1: faithfulness to God's instructions, in a genuine walk with the Savior,
- 2:05Speaker 1: and reverence for what the Father commands. Paul also spoke
- 2:10Speaker 1: to Timothy about the crown of righteousness that the Lord,
- 2:13Speaker 1: the Righteous Judge had laid up for him Tewod Timothy
- 2:16Speaker 1: four eight. He was confident he would not be rejected
- 2:20Speaker 1: upon his arrival in heaven, as he had a clear
- 2:23Speaker 1: conscience before God and did not live as a hypocrite,
- 2:26Speaker 1: but truly as a child of God. What joy it
- 2:31Speaker 1: will be when this world as we know it comes
- 2:33Speaker 1: to an end, or when our journey on earth is over,
- 2:37Speaker 1: and we hear from the lips of Jesus the words
- 2:40Speaker 1: well done, thou, good and faithful servant, Enter thou into
- 2:44Speaker 1: the joy of thy Lord Matthew twenty five. At twenty
- 2:47Speaker 1: one twenty three, the Master praised the servant for his
- 2:51Speaker 1: faithfulness and invited him to share in his happiness, an
- 2:55Speaker 1: invitation we all long to receive, no matter how many
- 2:59Speaker 1: people act as if there is no judgment at the
- 3:01Speaker 1: end of our journey in this world, it does not
- 3:04Speaker 1: negate the fact that God is the righteous judge before
- 3:07Speaker 1: whom we all will stand to give account of our lives. Moreover,
- 3:13Speaker 1: in his mercy, this Judge provided a means of atonement
- 3:16Speaker 1: through the blood of Jesus, so that we all may
- 3:19Speaker 1: stand right before him. Worshiping the Father must be true, sincere, profound,
- 3:25Speaker 1: guided by the spirit, and genuine, or it will have
- 3:28Speaker 1: no value before him. In his most famous message, the
- 3:32Speaker 1: Sermon on the Mount Jesus focused on the hearts of
- 3:35Speaker 1: his listeners, aiming for life, transformation, healing, real encounters with God,
- 3:41Speaker 1: and true freedom from the forces of darkness. Every judgment
- 3:45Speaker 1: has been entrusted to our Lord Jesus. The keys are
- 3:48Speaker 1: in his hands. He has the power to prescribe new
- 3:52Speaker 1: terms of life and death, and to judge men according
- 3:55Speaker 1: to them. This is a solemn declaration of Christ's established law.
- 3:59Speaker 1: In Matthew seven twenty one, a reminder that on the
- 4:03Speaker 1: last day, many will say, Lord Lord, but only those
- 4:07Speaker 1: who have done the Father's will shall enter the kingdom
- 4:10Speaker 1: of heaven. Did they prophesy in his name? Yes? Perhaps
- 4:15Speaker 1: Balim and Caiaphas were called to prophesy, and Saul, against
- 4:19Speaker 1: his will, was among the prophets. Yet this did not
- 4:23Speaker 1: save them. It is crucial to note that a man
- 4:26Speaker 1: might be a preacher, have talents for the ministry, and
- 4:29Speaker 1: be called to it, and even be successful in it,
- 4:32Speaker 1: yet still be a wicked man. He may help others
- 4:35Speaker 1: reach heaven, yet fall short of salvation himself. They will
- 4:40Speaker 1: also say that in his name they cast out devils.
- 4:43Speaker 1: This might be true. Judas cast out devils, and yet
- 4:47Speaker 1: was a son of perdition. They will also say that
- 4:50Speaker 1: in His name they did many wonderful works. True sanctification,
- 4:55Speaker 1: not the gifts of tongues or healing, is accepted by God.
- 4:59Speaker 1: Grace and love are more valuable than moving mountains. Though
- 5:03Speaker 1: I speak with the tongues of men and of angels,
- 5:06Speaker 1: and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass
- 5:09Speaker 1: or a tinkling symbol. And though I have the gift
- 5:12Speaker 1: of prophecy and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and
- 5:16Speaker 1: though I have all faith so that I could remove mountains,
- 5:19Speaker 1: and have not charity, I am nothing. First Corinthians thirteen
- 5:23Speaker 1: one to two. We must be aware that relying solely
- 5:26Speaker 1: on privileges and external performances can lead us to deceive
- 5:30Speaker 1: ourselves and ultimately face eternal destruction. Only those who truly
- 5:36Speaker 1: serve Christ will be accepted by Him on the final day.
- 5:40Speaker 1: Mere profession of faith is not enough. This serves as
- 5:43Speaker 1: a reminder that it is possible to fall from great
- 5:46Speaker 1: heights of hope to depths of misery. Everything except Christ
- 5:52Speaker 1: is like sand. Some people place their hopes on worldly success,
- 5:57Speaker 1: while others trust in the external appearance of religious beliefs
- 6:00Speaker 1: and the privileges and rituals associated with them. However, all
- 6:05Speaker 1: these things are transient and unreliable, and only a true
- 6:09Speaker 1: relationship with Christ can offer lasting hope and security. Jesus
- 6:14Speaker 1: recognizes a type of knowledge that relates to personal relationships
- 6:18Speaker 1: rather than intellectual knowledge. Jesus warns that one day he
- 6:22Speaker 1: will say to a group of religious practitioners, I never
- 6:25Speaker 1: knew you. God does not take pleasure in sending people
- 6:28Speaker 1: to hell. The individuals mentioned by Jesus in this context
- 6:32Speaker 1: were known for their notable spiritual feats of prophecy, casting
- 6:35Speaker 1: out demons and performing many wonders. However, these actions alone
- 6:40Speaker 1: are worthless without a genuine relationship and connection with Jesus. Fundamentally,
- 6:46Speaker 1: salvation is based on a personal knowledge of Jesus and
- 6:49Speaker 1: being recognized by him, rather than merely confessing verbally or
- 6:54Speaker 1: relying on spiritual works. Our connection with Jesus is vital
- 6:58Speaker 1: for our salvation. When we are connected to him, we
- 7:02Speaker 1: are secure, and all the works and miracles we perform
- 7:06Speaker 1: testify of this connection. On the other hand, without a
- 7:10Speaker 1: connection to him, such deeds are insignificant. The phrase depart
- 7:15Speaker 1: from me is terrible and terrifying. It means separation from Jesus.
- 7:21Speaker 1: The true test of faith in Christ is obedience to
- 7:23Speaker 1: the Father's will. Simply claiming to believe in saying Lord
- 7:27Speaker 1: Lord is not enough. It is also necessary to follow
- 7:31Speaker 1: and obey the Lord's commands. It is possible to know
- 7:35Speaker 1: and use religious vocabulary, memorize biblical verses and hymns, and
- 7:40Speaker 1: yet fail to follow God's will. Those who are born
- 7:44Speaker 1: again have the spirit of God living within them. With
- 7:47Speaker 1: the help of the Holy Spirit, they are able to
- 7:50Speaker 1: understand and follow the Father's will. The love of God
- 7:53Speaker 1: in their hearts motivates them to obey God and serve others.
- 7:58Speaker 1: Once the door is closed, it will remain closed forever.
- 8:03Speaker 1: Although some may hope that it will open again, there
- 8:05Speaker 1: is no biblical basis for such an expectation. We cannot
- 8:09Speaker 1: ignore the importance of faithfully following God's will. In the
- 8:13Speaker 1: Sermon on the Mount, Jesus focused on the hearts of
- 8:16Speaker 1: his listeners, aiming for life transformation, healing, real encounters with God,
- 8:21Speaker 1: and true freedom from the forces of darkness. He taught
- 8:25Speaker 1: that mere external compliance with religious norms and rituals was
- 8:29Speaker 1: not enough. True righteousness exceeds that of the scribes and
- 8:34Speaker 1: pharisees and comes from a heart genuinely transformed and devoted
- 8:38Speaker 1: to God. This type of righteousness is characterized by love, humility,
- 8:44Speaker 1: and obedience to God's commands. Moreover, Jesus emphasized the importance
- 8:49Speaker 1: of building life on a solid foundation. He compared those
- 8:53Speaker 1: who hear his words and put them into practice to
- 8:55Speaker 1: a wise man who built his house upon the rock.
- 8:58Speaker 1: When the storms of life came, this house remains firm
- 9:02Speaker 1: because it is built on a solid foundation. In contrast,
- 9:06Speaker 1: those who hear his words but do not put them
- 9:08Speaker 1: into practice are like a foolish man who built his
- 9:11Speaker 1: house on the sand. When the storms come, this house
- 9:15Speaker 1: collapses with a great crash. This parable highlights the need
- 9:19Speaker 1: for a deep and personal commitment to Jesus and his teachings.
- 9:23Speaker 1: It is not enough just to hear his words, We
- 9:26Speaker 1: must also live them in our daily lives. Furthermore, jesus
- 9:30Speaker 1: teachings emphasize the importance of humility and servant leadership. He
- 9:35Speaker 1: taught that greatness in the Kingdom of Heaven is measured
- 9:37Speaker 1: by the willingness to serve others. He himself set the
- 9:40Speaker 1: supreme example by washing the disciples feet and sacrificing his
- 9:44Speaker 1: life for the salvation of humanity. As his followers, we
- 9:49Speaker 1: are called to emulate his example of love and selfless service.
- 9:52Speaker 1: Jesus also warned against hypocrisy and the dangers of superficial faith.
- 9:57Speaker 1: He condemned the religious leaders of his life for their
- 10:00Speaker 1: external display of piety while their hearts were far from God.
- 10:05Speaker 1: True discipleship requires integrity and authenticity. Our actions must align
- 10:11Speaker 1: with our professed beliefs, and our love for God must
- 10:14Speaker 1: be genuine and sincere. In essence, jesus teachings in the
- 10:19Speaker 1: Sermon on the Mount call us to a higher standard
- 10:22Speaker 1: of life, reflecting the character and values of the Kingdom
- 10:25Speaker 1: of Heaven. They challenge us to examine our hearts, align
- 10:29Speaker 1: our lives with God's will, and live our faith in
- 10:32Speaker 1: tangible ways. By doing so, we not only secure our
- 10:37Speaker 1: place in the Kingdom of Heaven, but also become effective
- 10:40Speaker 1: witnesses of God's love and grace in the world. This
- 10:44Speaker 1: sermon is a divine gift, for it is God who
- 10:47Speaker 1: has granted it to us. We must prostrate ourselves before
- 10:51Speaker 1: Him and submit to His authority, for we will all
- 10:54Speaker 1: be judged. Thus, the question arises, how can we serve
- 10:59Speaker 1: God God in an acceptable manner. First, come with reverence submission.
- 11:04Speaker 1: The word of God offers us a profound glimpse into
- 11:07Speaker 1: how Jesus prayed, although we were not there to see him.
- 11:10Speaker 1: We are grateful to God for the Bible. Second, being
- 11:14Speaker 1: genuinely dedicated to God. And they swear unto the Lord
- 11:18Speaker 1: with a loud voice, and with shouting, and with trumpets
- 11:20Speaker 1: and with cornets, and all Judah rejoiced at the oath,
- 11:24Speaker 1: for they had sworn with all their heart and sought
- 11:27Speaker 1: him with their whole desire. And He was found of them,
- 11:30Speaker 1: and the Lord gave them rest round about and Chronicles
- 11:33Speaker 1: fifteen fourteen fifteen. Third, we must be sacrifices in our
- 11:38Speaker 1: walk and work with God. Administration to God requires sacrifice,
- 11:43Speaker 1: for obedience may be inconvenient, but necessary for blessings. The
- 11:48Speaker 1: Bible is not just about love. It also educates us
- 11:51Speaker 1: about things that can be quite terrifying if we do
- 11:54Speaker 1: not pay attention. But remember, the scary parts we encounter
- 11:59Speaker 1: in the Holy scriptures are not meant to instill fear
- 12:02Speaker 1: regarding God. Indeed, God is the complete opposite of being
- 12:06Speaker 1: petty or scary. His love for us is so immense
- 12:10Speaker 1: that He sacrificed his own son to save us. That
- 12:13Speaker 1: is a great sacrifice. God created everything perfectly at the beginning,
- 12:19Speaker 1: but sin separated us from him. Psalms five four to
- 12:23Speaker 1: seven declares that God detests evil and does not want
- 12:26Speaker 1: association with the proud liars and those who harm others.
- 12:31Speaker 1: Revelation three three warns, remember therefore, how thou hast received
- 12:35Speaker 1: and heard, and hold fast and repent. If therefore thou
- 12:39Speaker 1: shalt not watch, I will come on thee as a thief,
- 12:43Speaker 1: and thou shalt not know what hour I will come
- 12:45Speaker 1: upon thee. This verse issues a stern warning not to
- 12:48Speaker 1: deviate from the Lord's path, but to remain steadfast in
- 12:52Speaker 1: God's words without giving up. Besides the sudden appearance of
- 12:56Speaker 1: Jesus Christ that would leave the world in total shock
- 12:59Speaker 1: and pain, the reward for unbelievers will be terrible, eternal
- 13:03Speaker 1: punishment with no escape. God will raise his hand against
- 13:07Speaker 1: them and withdraw his presence from their lives. In Revelation two, five, seven,
- 13:13Speaker 1: and sixteen, God revealed his intention for both the repentant
- 13:16Speaker 1: and the unrepentant. Remember, therefore, from whence thou art fallen
- 13:21Speaker 1: and repent and do the first works, or else I
- 13:24Speaker 1: will come unto thee quickly and will remove thy candlestick
- 13:27Speaker 1: out of his place, except thou repent. Repentance is the
- 13:32Speaker 1: only ticket for any man to enter the Kingdom of God,
- 13:35Speaker 1: which is the main goal of every Christian. Jesus explicitly
- 13:40Speaker 1: stated in John three to three that no one can
- 13:42Speaker 1: see the Kingdom of God unless they are born again.
- 13:46Speaker 1: Each warning comes with consequences. Impenitence leads to unbearable outcomes
- 13:50Speaker 1: for man. Matthew thirteen forty one, forty two and eight
- 13:54Speaker 1: twelve worn, The Son of Man shall send forth his angels,
- 13:58Speaker 1: and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things
- 14:00Speaker 1: that offend, and them which do iniquity, and shall cast
- 14:04Speaker 1: them into a furnace of fire. There shall be wailing
- 14:07Speaker 1: and gnashing of teeth. The Bible describes hell as a
- 14:11Speaker 1: terrifying place, with wailing and gnashing of teeth, symbolizing the
- 14:15Speaker 1: agony that wrongdoers will face if they do not repent.
- 14:19Speaker 1: True worship is not just about going to church, singing praises,
- 14:23Speaker 1: or performing rituals. It is about a heart surrendered to God,
- 14:27Speaker 1: living in obedience to his commands, and seeking an intimate
- 14:31Speaker 1: relationship with him. Jesus emphasized that God seeks worshipers who
- 14:36Speaker 1: worship Him in spirit and in truth John four twenty
- 14:40Speaker 1: three twenty four. This means that our worship must be genuine,
- 14:45Speaker 1: coming from a pure and sincere heart, and not just
- 14:48Speaker 1: an external demonstration. We prepare for judgment day by living
- 14:52Speaker 1: a life of continuous repentance, seeking God with all our
- 14:56Speaker 1: heart and following his commands, since is a crucial part
- 15:01Speaker 1: of our Christian walk. Jesus began his ministry with a
- 15:05Speaker 1: call to repentance. Repent for the Kingdom of Heaven is
- 15:08Speaker 1: at hand Matthew four seventeen. Repentance is not just a
- 15:13Speaker 1: one time act, but a continuous attitude of humility and
- 15:16Speaker 1: submission to God, acknowledging our sins and seeking His grace
- 15:20Speaker 1: and forgiveness. In Luke thirteen three, Jesus reinforces the importance
- 15:25Speaker 1: of repentance, saying I tell you nay, but except ye repent,
- 15:30Speaker 1: ye shall all likewise perish. This shows us that repentance
- 15:35Speaker 1: is essential for our salvation and a requirement for entering
- 15:38Speaker 1: the Kingdom of God. We must always be alert to
- 15:42Speaker 1: areas in our life that need change and seek transformation
- 15:46Speaker 1: through the power of the Holy Spirit. Moreover, we must
- 15:50Speaker 1: live a life of sanctification, separating ourselves from sin and
- 15:54Speaker 1: seeking purity in all areas of our life. Sanctification is
- 15:59Speaker 1: the ongoing, owing process of becoming more like Christ, allowing
- 16:03Speaker 1: the Holy Spirit to work in us to mold us
- 16:05Speaker 1: into the image of Jesus. In First Thessalonians four three seven,
- 16:09Speaker 1: Paul writes, for this is the will of God, even
- 16:13Speaker 1: your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication, that every
- 16:18Speaker 1: one of you should know how to possess his vessel
- 16:20Speaker 1: in sanctification and honor, not in the lust of concupiscence,
- 16:24Speaker 1: even as the gentiles which know not God. For God
- 16:28Speaker 1: hath not called us unto uncleanness, but unto holiness. Our
- 16:33Speaker 1: communion with God is vital for our Christian walk. We
- 16:37Speaker 1: must cultivate an intimate relationship with Him through prayer, Bible reading,
- 16:41Speaker 1: and worship. Prayer is our direct line of communication with God,
- 16:45Speaker 1: where we can pour out our hearts, seek his guidance,
- 16:48Speaker 1: and receive his peace and comfort. In Philippians four six
- 16:53Speaker 1: to seven, Paul encourages us to take everything to God
- 16:56Speaker 1: in prayer. Be careful for nothing, but in everything, by
- 16:59Speaker 1: prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving. Let your requests be made
- 17:03Speaker 1: known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth
- 17:07Speaker 1: all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
- 17:13Speaker 1: Bible reading is essential for knowing God's will and being
- 17:16Speaker 1: transformed by his word. In Psalms one nineteen one oh five,
- 17:21Speaker 1: the psalmist declares, thy word is a lamp unto my feet,
- 17:25Speaker 1: and a light unto my path. God's word guides us,
- 17:29Speaker 1: corrects us, and instructs us in righteousness, equipping us for
- 17:33Speaker 1: every good work. Two Timothy three, sixteen seventeen. We must
- 17:38Speaker 1: meditate on it day and night, allowing it to penetrate
- 17:41Speaker 1: our hearts and minds, transforming us from the inside out.
- 17:45Speaker 1: Worship is an expression of our love and gratitude to God.
- 17:49Speaker 1: In Psalms ninety five six, we are invited to worship God.
- 17:53Speaker 1: Oh Come, let us worship and bow down. Let us
- 17:56Speaker 1: kneel before the Lord, our maker. Worship is not just
- 18:01Speaker 1: an act we perform on Sundays, but a lifestyle that
- 18:04Speaker 1: reflects our devotion to God in everything we do. Here
- 18:08Speaker 1: is your translated text into English, incorporating King James version,
- 18:13Speaker 1: quotes where specified and expanding the text to enrich the narrative.
- 18:19Speaker 1: Obedience to God is foundational for our Christian walk. We
- 18:24Speaker 1: must follow His commandments and live according to His principles.
- 18:27Speaker 1: Jesus said in John fourteen fifteen, if ye love me,
- 18:31Speaker 1: keep my commandments. Obedience is a testament to our love
- 18:35Speaker 1: and loyalty to God. In First Samuel fifteen twenty two,
- 18:38Speaker 1: Samuel declares, hath the Lord as great delight in burnt
- 18:42Speaker 1: offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of the Lord, behold.
- 18:47Speaker 1: To obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than
- 18:50Speaker 1: the fat of rams. Obedience to God leads to a
- 18:54Speaker 1: blessed and fruitful life. In Deuteronomy twenty eight one point two,
- 18:59Speaker 1: God promises blessings for those who obey his commandments. And
- 19:03Speaker 1: it shall come to pass if thou shalt hearken diligently
- 19:07Speaker 1: unto the voice of the Lord thy God, to observe
- 19:10Speaker 1: and to do all his commandments, which I command THEE
- 19:13Speaker 1: this day, that the Lord thy God will set THEE
- 19:15Speaker 1: on high above all nations of the earth, and all
- 19:19Speaker 1: these blessings shall come on THEE and overtake thee, if
- 19:23Speaker 1: thou shalt hearken unto the voice of the Lord thy God.
- 19:26Speaker 1: Perseverance is crucial in our Christian walk. We must maintain
- 19:30Speaker 1: our faith firmly until the end, not allowing trials and
- 19:34Speaker 1: difficulties to drift us away from God. In Hebrews ten
- 19:38Speaker 1: thirty six, we are encouraged to persevere, for ye have
- 19:42Speaker 1: need of patience, that after ye have done the will
- 19:44Speaker 1: of God, ye might receive the promise. Perseverance is a
- 19:48Speaker 1: hallmark of true followers of Christ. In Matthew twenty four thirteen,
- 19:52Speaker 1: Jesus says, but he that shall endure unto the end,
- 19:56Speaker 1: the same shall be saved. We must keep our eyes
- 19:59Speaker 1: fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith,
- 20:03Speaker 1: and run with perseverance the race that is set before
- 20:05Speaker 1: us Hebrews twelve one to two. Perseverance also involves enduring
- 20:11Speaker 1: hardships and trials with faith and trust in God. In
- 20:15Speaker 1: James one two to four, we are exhorted to consider
- 20:18Speaker 1: trials as opportunities for spiritual growth. My brethren, count it
- 20:24Speaker 1: all joy when ye fall into diverse temptations, knowing this
- 20:28Speaker 1: that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let
- 20:30Speaker 1: patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect
- 20:33Speaker 1: and entire, wanting nothing. Love is the supreme commandment of God.
- 20:39Speaker 1: We must love God with all our heart, soul, mind,
- 20:41Speaker 1: and strength, and love our neighbor as ourselves. Jesus declared
- 20:47Speaker 1: in Matthew twenty two thirty seven forty thou shalt love
- 20:50Speaker 1: the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with
- 20:53Speaker 1: all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is
- 20:56Speaker 1: the first and great commandment, and the second is like
- 20:59Speaker 1: unto it. Shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. On these
- 21:03Speaker 1: two commandments hang all the law and the prophets. Love
- 21:07Speaker 1: is the essence of God's character and must be the
- 21:10Speaker 1: distinguishing mark of his followers. In First Corinthians thirteen thirteen,
- 21:15Speaker 1: Paul writes, and now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three,
- 21:19Speaker 1: But the greatest of these is charity. True love is patient, kind,
- 21:24Speaker 1: does not envy, does not boast, is not proud, does
- 21:28Speaker 1: not behave in decently, does not seek its own, is
- 21:31Speaker 1: not easily provoked, thinks no evil, rejoices not in iniquity,
- 21:36Speaker 1: but rejoices in the truth, bears all things, believes all things,
- 21:40Speaker 1: hopes all things, endures all things Firse Corinthians thirteen four seven.
- 21:45Speaker 1: As Christians, we have the hope of eternal life with God.
- 21:49Speaker 1: This hope motivates us to live in a way that
- 21:51Speaker 1: pleases God and to persevere in our faith. In Titus
- 21:55Speaker 1: one two, Paul speaks of the hope of eternal life,
- 21:59Speaker 1: which God that can not lie, promised before the world began.
- 22:03Speaker 1: Eternal life is a free gift from God received through
- 22:07Speaker 1: faith in Jesus Christ. In Romans six twenty three we
- 22:10Speaker 1: read for the wages of sin is death, but the
- 22:13Speaker 1: gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ, our Lord.
- 22:17Speaker 1: This hope gives us strength and courage to face life's
- 22:21Speaker 1: difficulties and challenges, knowing that our final destination is to
- 22:25Speaker 1: be with God forever. As followers of Christ, we have
- 22:29Speaker 1: the mission to proclaim the Gospel and make disciples of
- 22:32Speaker 1: all nations. Jesus gave us the great commission in Matthew
- 22:35Speaker 1: twenty eight nineteen to twenty. Go ye therefore and teach
- 22:39Speaker 1: all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father,
- 22:42Speaker 1: and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost, teaching
- 22:45Speaker 1: them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you
- 22:49Speaker 1: and lo I am with you always, even unto the
- 22:52Speaker 1: end of the world. Amen. We must share God's love
- 22:57Speaker 1: and the message of salvation with others, so they too
- 23:00Speaker 1: can know and experience the grace and mercy of God.
- 23:03Speaker 1: In Romans ten fourteen two fifteen, Paul underscores the importance
- 23:07Speaker 1: of preaching the gospel. How then shall they call on
- 23:11Speaker 1: Him in whom they have not believed? And how shall
- 23:14Speaker 1: they believe in Him of whom they have not heard?
- 23:17Speaker 1: And how shall they hear without a preacher? And how
- 23:19Speaker 1: shall they preach except they be sent? As it is written?
- 23:24Speaker 1: How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the
- 23:26Speaker 1: Gospel of peace and bring glad tidings of good things.
- 23:32Speaker 1: Fellowship with other believers is essential for our spiritual growth
- 23:35Speaker 1: and strengthening in faith. The Church is the body of Christ,
- 23:39Speaker 1: and each of us is a member of that body,
- 23:41Speaker 1: called to contribute our gifts and talents to build one
- 23:44Speaker 1: another up. In Hebrews ten twenty four twenty five, we
- 23:48Speaker 1: are exhorted not to forsake our assembling together, and let
- 23:52Speaker 1: us consider one another to provoke unto love and to
- 23:55Speaker 1: good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together. As
- 24:00Speaker 1: the manner of some is but exhorting one another, and
- 24:03Speaker 1: so much the more as ye see the day, approaching
- 24:07Speaker 1: fellowship with other believers provides us with encouragement, support, and
- 24:11Speaker 1: mutual accountability. In Acts two forty two we see a
- 24:15Speaker 1: description of the early Christian community, and they continued steadfastly
- 24:20Speaker 1: in the apostles, doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of
- 24:23Speaker 1: bread and in prayers. We should follow this example, seeking
- 24:28Speaker 1: to be together, sharing our lives, and supporting one another
- 24:31Speaker 1: in our walk with God. The verse verily I say
- 24:35Speaker 1: unto you, I know you not Matthew twenty five twelve
- 24:39Speaker 1: is one of the most terrifying in the Bible, as
- 24:42Speaker 1: it reminds us of the importance of having a genuine
- 24:44Speaker 1: relationship with Jesus. It is not enough to profess faith
- 24:48Speaker 1: or perform external deeds. We need to live in obedience
- 24:52Speaker 1: to God, seeking sanctification, persevering in faith, loving God and
- 24:57Speaker 1: our neighbor, and proclaiming the Gospel. The Bible provides us
- 25:02Speaker 1: with guidance and encouragement to live in a way that
- 25:05Speaker 1: pleases God and secures our salvation. We must seek intimate
- 25:10Speaker 1: communion with God, dedicating ourselves to prayer, Bible reading and
- 25:15Speaker 1: true worship. Obedience and perseverance are essential for our Christian walk,
- 25:20Speaker 1: and the hope of eternal life motivates us to remain
- 25:23Speaker 1: steadfast in faith. May we live each day in submission
- 25:26Speaker 1: to God, seeking his will and preparing for judgment day.
- 25:31Speaker 1: May we hear the words of Jesus, Well done, thou,
- 25:33Speaker 1: good and faithful servant. Enter thou into the joy of
- 25:37Speaker 1: thy Lord Matthew twenty five, twenty one, twenty three, and
- 25:41Speaker 1: live for the glory of God, proclaiming his love and
- 25:43Speaker 1: grace to all around us. Hell was not created for man,
- 25:47Speaker 1: but for Lucifer, who walked among the stones of fire. Lucifer,
- 25:52Speaker 1: once adorned with precious stones, as recorded in Ezekiel twenty eight,
- 25:56Speaker 1: was cast into the Abyss following his fall from heaven.
- 26:00Speaker 1: Revelation twenty ten reveals, and the devil that deceived them
- 26:04Speaker 1: was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where
- 26:07Speaker 1: the beast and the false prophet are and shall be
- 26:09Speaker 1: tormented day and night, forever and ever. This passage reminds
- 26:14Speaker 1: us of the severity of rebellion against God and the
- 26:16Speaker 1: eternal consequences of sin. God's purpose in creating Hell was
- 26:21Speaker 1: to punish Lucifer and his fallen angels, not man. However,
- 26:26Speaker 1: through disobedience and rejection of God, many follow the same
- 26:29Speaker 1: path of perdition. It is imperative that we accept Jesus
- 26:34Speaker 1: into our lives. In John three fifteen seventeen, Jesus proclaims
- 26:39Speaker 1: that everyone who believes in him may have eternal life,
- 26:43Speaker 1: that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have
- 26:47Speaker 1: eternal life. For God so loved the world that he
- 26:51Speaker 1: gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in him
- 26:54Speaker 1: should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent
- 26:59Speaker 1: not his son into the world to condemn the world,
- 27:02Speaker 1: but that the world through him might be saved. This
- 27:06Speaker 1: verse is a powerful reminder of God's love for us
- 27:08Speaker 1: and the salvation available through Jesus Christ. Accepting Jesus is
- 27:13Speaker 1: not just recognizing him with our lips, but truly believing
- 27:17Speaker 1: and following him. This acceptance brings transformation, a new birth
- 27:22Speaker 1: that aligns our lives with God's will. It is a
- 27:26Speaker 1: journey of faith, obedience, and continuous repentance. In Romans twelve
- 27:32Speaker 1: to two, we are called not to be conformed to
- 27:34Speaker 1: this world, but to be transformed by the renewing of
- 27:37Speaker 1: our mind, that we may prove what is that good
- 27:41Speaker 1: and acceptable and perfect will of God. This transformation is
- 27:46Speaker 1: what enables us to live a life that pleases God.
- 27:49Speaker 1: Every believer is called to a life of holiness, striving
- 27:53Speaker 1: to reflect Christ's character in all aspects of life. This
- 27:57Speaker 1: means loving others as Christ loved us, forgiving as He forgave,
- 28:01Speaker 1: and serving as He served. In One Peter one fifteen sixteen,
- 28:06Speaker 1: it is stated, but as he which hath called you
- 28:08Speaker 1: is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation,
- 28:12Speaker 1: because it is written, be ye holy, for I am holy.
- 28:17Speaker 1: Holiness is a call to live a life set apart
- 28:19Speaker 1: for God, seeking to please Him in everything we do.
- 28:23Speaker 1: Our faith is demonstrated through our actions, and our love
- 28:26Speaker 1: for God is shown in our obedience to his commandments.
- 28:30Speaker 1: In James two seventeen, we read that faith without works
- 28:33Speaker 1: is dead. Our acts of love and service are the
- 28:36Speaker 1: evidence of our living faith. Jesus taught that the greatest
- 28:40Speaker 1: commandment is to love God with all our heart, soul,
- 28:43Speaker 1: and mind, and the second is to love our neighbor
- 28:46Speaker 1: as ourselves. Matthew twenty two thirty seven to thirty nine.
- 28:51Speaker 1: This demonstration of love is what makes our faith visible
- 28:54Speaker 1: to the world. Jesus teachings remind us that the path
- 28:58Speaker 1: to eternal life is narrow, and few find it. It
- 29:02Speaker 1: requires commitment, sacrifice, and a heart fully devoted to God.
- 29:07Speaker 1: In Matthew seven thirteen fourteen, Jesus says, enter ye in
- 29:11Speaker 1: at the straight gate, for wide is the gate, and
- 29:14Speaker 1: broad is the way that leadeth to destruction, and many
- 29:17Speaker 1: there be which go in thereat. Because strait is the gate,
- 29:21Speaker 1: and narrow is the way which leadeth unto life, and
- 29:24Speaker 1: few there be that find it. This narrow path requires
- 29:28Speaker 1: that we renounce the things of this world and completely
- 29:31Speaker 1: surrender ourselves to God. The rewards for those who faithfully
- 29:35Speaker 1: follow Christ are incomprehensible eternal life in the presence of God,
- 29:40Speaker 1: where there are fullness of joy and pleasures forevermore. In
- 29:45Speaker 1: First Corinthians two nine we read, but as it is written,
- 29:49Speaker 1: eye hath not seen nor ear heard, neither have entered
- 29:52Speaker 1: into the heart of man the things which God hath
- 29:55Speaker 1: prepared for them that love him. God's promise to the
- 29:58Speaker 1: faithful is beyond well. We can imagine an eternity of
- 30:02Speaker 1: peace and joy with Him as we live our lives.
- 30:05Speaker 1: Let us keep our eyes fixed on Jesus, the author
- 30:08Speaker 1: and finisher of our faith. Let us run with perseverance
- 30:11Speaker 1: the race that is set before us, knowing that our
- 30:14Speaker 1: labor in the Lord is not in vain. In Hebrews
- 30:18Speaker 1: twelve one to two, we are exhorted to run with
- 30:21Speaker 1: patience the race that is set before us, looking unto Jesus,
- 30:25Speaker 1: the author and finisher of our faith. Our journey of
- 30:28Speaker 1: faith is a marathon, not a sprint, and requires persistence
- 30:33Speaker 1: and focus on Christ. The crown of life awaits those
- 30:36Speaker 1: who remain faithful until the end. In James jeer to
- 30:41Speaker 1: one twelve, we read, blessed is the man that endureth temptation,
- 30:46Speaker 1: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown
- 30:49Speaker 1: of life, which the Lord hath promised to them that
- 30:52Speaker 1: love him. This promise of a crown of life is
- 30:56Speaker 1: an incentive for us to persevere, even amid trials and chachallenges.
- 31:01Speaker 1: Our relationship with Jesus is the most important aspect of
- 31:04Speaker 1: our lives. It determines our eternal destiny. The warnings in
- 31:08Speaker 1: the Bible are there to guide us, to keep us
- 31:10Speaker 1: on the right path, and to remind us of the
- 31:13Speaker 1: consequences of straying from God. In John fourteen fifteen, Jesus said,
- 31:18Speaker 1: if he love me, keep my commandments. Our obedience to
- 31:21Speaker 1: Jesus is the proof of our love for him and
- 31:24Speaker 1: our devotion to God. Let us take these warnings seriously,
- 31:27Speaker 1: live lives worthy of our calling, and strive to enter
- 31:30Speaker 1: through the narrow gate. In Philippians two twelve, we are
- 31:34Speaker 1: exhorted to work out our salvation with fear and trembling.
- 31:38Speaker 1: Salvation is a precious gift from God, and we should
- 31:41Speaker 1: live our lives in reverence to Him, following his instructions
- 31:46Speaker 1: and standing firm in faith. God's love compels us to
- 31:50Speaker 1: live for him, to seek him with all our heart,
- 31:53Speaker 1: and to make his will our priority. By doing so,
- 31:57Speaker 1: we will find true joy, peace, and fulfillment, both in
- 32:00Speaker 1: this life and in the life to come. In Jeremiah
- 32:04Speaker 1: twenty nine thirteen, God promises, and ye shall seek me
- 32:07Speaker 1: and find me when ye shall search for me with
- 32:09Speaker 1: all your heart. This pursuit of God should be our priority,
- 32:14Speaker 1: knowing that He is the source of all blessings and
- 32:16Speaker 1: true happiness. This message is a divine gift, for it
- 32:20Speaker 1: is God who has granted it to us. God did
- 32:24Speaker 1: not send his son into the world to condemn it,
- 32:26Speaker 1: but that the world through him might be saved. The
- 32:30Speaker 1: scriptures provide these terrifying warnings about judgment because God does
- 32:34Speaker 1: not delight in the condemnation of the world. He desires
- 32:39Speaker 1: that every human being have eternal life, and that is
- 32:42Speaker 1: why he sent his only son for our redemption and atonement.
- 32:46Speaker 1: For our sins, Jesus is calling every one to repentance
- 32:50Speaker 1: to avoid the upcoming punishment. The lake of fire and
- 32:53Speaker 1: outer darkness will be the result of impenitence. He calls
- 32:57Speaker 1: you to be free from the bonds of sin. I
- 33:00Speaker 1: am the Way, the Truth, and the life. No man
- 33:03Speaker 1: cometh unto the Father, but by me John fourteen six.
- 33:08Speaker 1: Receive God's love in Romans two four five. Scripture describes
- 33:13Speaker 1: God's love for his people and his willingness to always
- 33:16Speaker 1: come to our aid. Without true repentance, the purpose of
- 33:20Speaker 1: Christ's death and resurrection cannot manifest in a person's life.
- 33:24Speaker 1: When the doors of your heart are closed against God,
- 33:27Speaker 1: how can he demonstrate his love in your life? Romans
- 33:31Speaker 1: five eight tells us, but God commendeth his love toward
- 33:34Speaker 1: us in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died
- 33:37Speaker 1: for us. Now that we have been justified by His blood,
- 33:41Speaker 1: how much more shall we be saved from God's wrath
- 33:43Speaker 1: through him. God's love is so great and important that
- 33:47Speaker 1: no one should miss it. Just as a father truly
- 33:50Speaker 1: cares for his child, God shows great love to all
- 33:53Speaker 1: who follow him, but not just to them. God also
- 33:57Speaker 1: cares for people who do not yet believe in Him,
- 34:00Speaker 1: and all who decide to follow him. Later, Jesus said
- 34:04Speaker 1: in Luke five thirty one thirty two, they that are
- 34:07Speaker 1: whole need not a physician, but they that are sick.
- 34:11Speaker 1: I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
- 34:16Speaker 1: He also stated in Luke fifteen ten that there is
- 34:19Speaker 1: joy in the presence of the angels of God over
- 34:21Speaker 1: one sinner that repenteth. It is vital that every one
- 34:25Speaker 1: understand that the existence of hell is very real, and
- 34:28Speaker 1: that no one should ever experience the torment and suffering
- 34:31Speaker 1: it offers. Therefore, it is crucial that every one heed
- 34:34Speaker 1: the warnings to repent and turn away from sin. This
- 34:38Speaker 1: is a wake up call reminding us that the end
- 34:41Speaker 1: times are approaching faster than we can realize. Jesus said
- 34:45Speaker 1: in Mark one fifteen, the time is fulfilled, and the
- 34:48Speaker 1: Kingdom of God is at hand. Repent ye and believe
- 34:52Speaker 1: the gospel. Not those who have not believed in the
- 34:55Speaker 1: name of the Only Son of God face a severe
- 34:57Speaker 1: warning against rebellion. In First Samuel twelve fifteen, we read,
- 35:02Speaker 1: but if ye will not obey the voice of the Lord,
- 35:05Speaker 1: but rebel against the commandment of the Lord, then shall
- 35:08Speaker 1: the hand of the Lord be against you, as it
- 35:10Speaker 1: was against your fathers. Jesus also issued a grave warning
- 35:15Speaker 1: in Matthew seven twenty one. Not everyone that saith unto me,
- 35:19Speaker 1: Lord Lord, shall enter into the Kingdom of Heaven, but
- 35:21Speaker 1: he that doeth the will of my Father, which is
- 35:24Speaker 1: in heaven. This means that our entry into heaven is
- 35:28Speaker 1: also tied to our obedience to the will and word
- 35:30Speaker 1: of God. The warning against disobedience applies not only to individuals,
- 35:36Speaker 1: but also to nations and countries. God declared in Jeremiah
- 35:40Speaker 1: twelve seventeen. But if they will not obey, I will
- 35:43Speaker 1: utterly pluck up and destroy that nation saith the Lord,
- 35:48Speaker 1: As the scriptures revealed in Isaiah three to eight, for
- 35:51Speaker 1: Jerusalem is ruined and Judah is fallen because their tongue
- 35:55Speaker 1: and their doings are against the Lord. To provoke the
- 35:59Speaker 1: eyes of his glory. Judah and Jerusalem faced great trouble
- 36:03Speaker 1: because they did not listen to God. Many people have
- 36:07Speaker 1: uncertainties about what happens after death. Some believe that after
- 36:12Speaker 1: death everyone sleeps until the final judgment, when they are
- 36:16Speaker 1: then sent to heaven or hell. There are different beliefs
- 36:20Speaker 1: about what happens to people after they die. Some believe
- 36:24Speaker 1: that after death people are immediately judged and sent to
- 36:27Speaker 1: heaven or hell. These beliefs vary widely, but the essential
- 36:32Speaker 1: truth remains that there is a judgment after death, and
- 36:35Speaker 1: the choices we make in this life have eternal consequences.
- 36:40Speaker 1: In his most famous message, the Sermon on the Mount,
- 36:43Speaker 1: Jesus spoke extensively about the nature of the Kingdom of
- 36:46Speaker 1: God and the qualities necessary to be part of it.
- 36:50Speaker 1: He emphasized the importance of humility, mercy, and a pure heart.
- 36:55Speaker 1: He taught that blessed are the poor in spirit, for
- 36:57Speaker 1: theirs is the Kingdom of Heaven. So highlighted the importance
- 37:01Speaker 1: of promoting peace, stating that peacemakers will be called the
- 37:04Speaker 1: children of God. Jesus teachings go beyond mere actions to
- 37:09Speaker 1: the motivations and attitudes of the heart. He called his
- 37:13Speaker 1: followers to love their enemies, to do good to those
- 37:16Speaker 1: who hate them, and to pray for those who persecute them.
- 37:19Speaker 1: This radical love and forgiveness reflect God's heart and his
- 37:24Speaker 1: desire for reconciliation and peace among humanity. Jesus also warned
- 37:29Speaker 1: about the dangers of hypocrisy and self righteousness. He criticized
- 37:34Speaker 1: the religious leaders of his time for their outward display
- 37:37Speaker 1: of piety while neglecting justice, mercy, and faithfulness. He taught
- 37:42Speaker 1: that true righteousness comes from a heart transformed by love
- 37:46Speaker 1: and God's grace, not from mere external observance of religious rituals.
- 37:51Speaker 1: This transformation is marked by a deep and personal relationship
- 37:55Speaker 1: with God, characterized by trust, obedience, and genuine love for others. Furthermore,
- 38:01Speaker 1: jesus parables often illustrated themes of repentance, forgiveness, and God's grace.
- 38:07Speaker 1: In the Parable of the Prodigal Son, he depicted the
- 38:10Speaker 1: infinite mercy of the father who welcomes back his wayward
- 38:13Speaker 1: son with open arms. This story emphasizes the joy in
- 38:17Speaker 1: heaven over one sinner who repents, and the infinite value
- 38:21Speaker 1: of each soul to God. As believers, we are called
- 38:25Speaker 1: to be ambassadors for Christ, sharing his message of salvation
- 38:29Speaker 1: and living his teachings in our daily lives. Our mission
- 38:32Speaker 1: is to reflect his love, compassion, and truth to a
- 38:36Speaker 1: world in need of hope and redemption. The Great Commission
- 38:40Speaker 1: compels us to go into all the world and make disciples,
- 38:43Speaker 1: teaching them to observe all that Jesus commanded. This mission
- 38:48Speaker 1: is urgent as the time of Christ's return approaches each day.
- 38:52Speaker 1: In conclusion, the warnings and teachings of the Bible are
- 38:55Speaker 1: not meant to instill fear, but to guide us to
- 38:58Speaker 1: a life of faith, obedience, and love. They remind us
- 39:02Speaker 1: of the reality of judgment and the need for repentance,
- 39:06Speaker 1: but also point to the hope and salvation available through
- 39:09Speaker 1: Jesus Christ. Let us take these messages seriously, live lives
- 39:14Speaker 1: that honor God, and share the good news of His
- 39:17Speaker 1: love with everyone we meet. Others believe that after death,
- 39:21Speaker 1: souls are sent to a temporary destination until the final judgment,
- 39:26Speaker 1: which determines their eternal fate. But what does the Bible
- 39:29Speaker 1: say about what happens after death? First The Bible tells
- 39:33Speaker 1: us that after death, the soul's spirits of believers are
- 39:37Speaker 1: taken to heaven, as their sins have been forgiven by
- 39:40Speaker 1: accepting Christ as savior. For believers, to die is to
- 39:45Speaker 1: be absent from the body and present with the Lord. Therefore,
- 39:49Speaker 1: we are always confident, knowing that whilst we are at
- 39:52Speaker 1: home in the body, we are absent from the Lord.
- 39:55Speaker 1: For we walk by faith, not by sight. We are confident,
- 39:59Speaker 1: I say, and willing rather to be absent from the
- 40:01Speaker 1: body and to be present with the Lord. Second Corinthians
- 40:05Speaker 1: five are six eight. Believers will have their bodies, souls,
- 40:10Speaker 1: and spirits reunited and glorified for eternity in the new
- 40:14Speaker 1: heavens and new Earth. It is amazing to think that
- 40:17Speaker 1: our heavenly Father is so eager to be with us
- 40:20Speaker 1: that when we die, he ensures that we are automatically
- 40:23Speaker 1: escorted to heaven. The apostle Paul assures us in Second
- 40:26Speaker 1: Corinthians five six 't eight of this courage and preference
- 40:29Speaker 1: to be absent from the body to be with the Lord.
- 40:32Speaker 1: After death, we will be in the presence of God.
- 40:36Speaker 1: There is no purgatory or reincarnation. Christians have a strong
- 40:41Speaker 1: hope of heaven because of what Jesus Christ accomplished through
- 40:45Speaker 1: his death and resurrection. Blessed be the God and Father
- 40:49Speaker 1: of our Lord Jesus Christ, which, according to his abundant mercy,
- 40:53Speaker 1: hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the
- 40:56Speaker 1: resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, to an inheritance
- 41:00Speaker 1: incorruptible and undefiled, and that fadeth not away reserved in
- 41:04Speaker 1: heaven for you first Peter one three four. The inheritance
- 41:09Speaker 1: reserved for us in heaven is incorruptible, undefiled, and unfading.
- 41:15Speaker 1: The second death means eternal punishment for those who do
- 41:18Speaker 1: not accept Jesus Christ as their savior. Unbelievers, like believers,
- 41:23Speaker 1: seem to be immediately sent to a temporary place of
- 41:25Speaker 1: waiting until they await their final resurrection, judgment and eternal destiny.
- 41:31Speaker 1: In Luke sixteen, the rich man is tormented immediately after death,
- 41:36Speaker 1: and he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me,
- 41:40Speaker 1: and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of
- 41:42Speaker 1: his finger in water and cool my tongue, for I
- 41:46Speaker 1: am tormented in this flame Luke sixteen twenty four. According
- 41:51Speaker 1: to Revelation twenty eleven fifteen. All unbelieving dead are resurrected,
- 41:56Speaker 1: judged at the Great White Throne, and cast into the
- 41:58Speaker 1: lake of fire. And I saw a great white throne,
- 42:02Speaker 1: and him that sat on it, from whose face the
- 42:05Speaker 1: earth and the heaven fled away, and there was found
- 42:08Speaker 1: no place for them. And I saw the dead, small
- 42:11Speaker 1: and great stand before God. And the books were opened,
- 42:15Speaker 1: and another book was opened, which is the Book of Life.
- 42:18Speaker 1: And the dead were judged out of those things which
- 42:21Speaker 1: were written in the books according to their works. And
- 42:24Speaker 1: the sea gave up the dead which were in it,
- 42:27Speaker 1: and Death and Hell delivered up the dead which were
- 42:30Speaker 1: in them. And they were judged every man according to
- 42:33Speaker 1: their works. And Death and Hell were cast into the
- 42:36Speaker 1: lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever
- 42:40Speaker 1: was not found written in the Book of Life was
- 42:43Speaker 1: cast into the Lake of fire. Revelation twenty eleven to fifteen.
- 42:48Speaker 1: These are the final and eternal destinations of all people,
- 42:51Speaker 1: based entirely on whether they trusted solely in Jesus Christ
- 42:54Speaker 1: for salvation. Matthew twenty five forty six contrasts the eternal destinies,
- 43:01Speaker 1: and these shall go away into everlasting punishment, but the
- 43:05Speaker 1: righteous into life eternal Matthew twenty five, forty six. Do
- 43:10Speaker 1: we choose to go to Hell? Hell has been enshrouded
- 43:13Speaker 1: in folklore and disguised in fiction for so long that
- 43:17Speaker 1: many people deny the reality of such a place. Some
- 43:21Speaker 1: people think it is a myth. This is understandable. Our
- 43:24Speaker 1: minds rebel against the idea of terror and affliction. However,
- 43:28Speaker 1: the concept of hell is not unique to the Christian faith.
- 43:33Speaker 1: Centuries before Christ, the Babylonians believed in the Land of
- 43:37Speaker 1: no Return. The Bible, however, provides us with a clear
- 43:41Speaker 1: and unequivocal description of Hell. In Mark nine forty three
- 43:45Speaker 1: to forty eight, Jesus speaks about the seriousness of sin
- 43:49Speaker 1: and the final destiny of sinners. And if thy hand
- 43:52Speaker 1: offend THEE cut it off, it is better for thee
- 43:55Speaker 1: to enter into life maimed than having two hands to
- 43:58Speaker 1: go into hell in the fire that never shall be quenched,
- 44:02Speaker 1: where their worm dieth not and the fire is not quenched.
- 44:07Speaker 1: And if thy foot offend THEE cut it off, it
- 44:09Speaker 1: is better for thee to enter halt into life than
- 44:12Speaker 1: having two feet to be cast into Hell, into the
- 44:15Speaker 1: fire that never shall be quenched, where their worm dieth
- 44:19Speaker 1: not and the fire is not quenched. And if thine
- 44:22Speaker 1: eye offend thee pluck it out. It is better for
- 44:25Speaker 1: thee to enter into the Kingdom of God with one
- 44:27Speaker 1: eye than having two eyes, to be cast into hell fire,
- 44:32Speaker 1: where their worm dieth not and the fire is not quenched,
- 44:36Speaker 1: Mark ninety three, forty eight. This is a call to conversion,
- 44:40Speaker 1: to forsake our sins and seek holiness. In Second Peter
- 44:44Speaker 1: three nine, we are reminded of God's patience. The Lord
- 44:48Speaker 1: is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness,
- 44:52Speaker 1: but is long suffering to us ward, not willing that
- 44:55Speaker 1: any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
- 44:59Speaker 1: Second Peter three. Repentance is a central theme in the Bible,
- 45:03Speaker 1: and Acts three nineteen. Peter exhorts repent ye therefore, and
- 45:08Speaker 1: be converted, that your sins may be blotted out when
- 45:11Speaker 1: the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of
- 45:14Speaker 1: the Lord, Acts three nineteen. Genuine repentance leads to salvation
- 45:19Speaker 1: and the forgiveness of sins. The final judgment is an
- 45:23Speaker 1: event that everyone will face in Hebrews nine twenty seven.
- 45:27Speaker 1: It is written, and as it is appointed, unto men
- 45:30Speaker 1: wants to die. But after this the judgment Hebrews nine
- 45:34Speaker 1: twenty seven, each person will be judged according to their works.
- 45:38Speaker 1: In Romans fourteen twelve, we read, so then every one
- 45:42Speaker 1: of us shall give account of himself to God Romans
- 45:45Speaker 1: fourteen twelve. This judgment will be just and definitive. While
- 45:50Speaker 1: judgment is a reality, God's mercy is always present. In
- 45:54Speaker 1: Lamentations three twenty two twenty three, we are comforted. It
- 45:58Speaker 1: is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed
- 46:01Speaker 1: because his compassions fail not. They are new every morning.
- 46:05Speaker 1: Great is Thy faithfulness Lamentations three twenty two to twenty three.
- 46:11Speaker 1: God is always willing to forgive those who repent and
- 46:14Speaker 1: turn back to him. The sacrifice of Jesus on the
- 46:17Speaker 1: cross is the greatest demonstration of God's love and mercy.
- 46:22Speaker 1: In John fifteen thirteen, Jesus said, greater love hath no
- 46:26Speaker 1: man than this, that a man laid down his life
- 46:29Speaker 1: for his friends. John fifteen thirteen, Jesus gave his life
- 46:34Speaker 1: so that we might have eternal life. In First John
- 46:37Speaker 1: four nine to ten, we read in This was manifested
- 46:41Speaker 1: the love of God toward us, because that God sent
- 46:44Speaker 1: his only begotten son into the world that we might
- 46:47Speaker 1: live through him. Herein is love, Not that we loved God,
- 46:51Speaker 1: but that He loved us and sent his son to
- 46:53Speaker 1: be the propitiation for our sins. First John four nine ten.
- 46:58Speaker 1: To enter the Kingdom of God, we must be born again.
- 47:02Speaker 1: In John three three seven, Jesus told Nicodemus verily, verily,
- 47:07Speaker 1: I say, unto thee accept a man be born again.
- 47:11Speaker 1: He cannot see the Kingdom of God. Nicodemus saith unto him.
- 47:14Speaker 1: How can a man be born when he is old?
- 47:17Speaker 1: Can he enter the second time into his mother's womb
- 47:20Speaker 1: and be born? Jesus answered, verily, verily, I say, unto
- 47:26Speaker 1: thee except a man be born of water and of
- 47:29Speaker 1: the spirit, he cannot enter into the Kingdom of God.
- 47:33Speaker 1: That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and
- 47:36Speaker 1: that which is born of the spirit is spirit. Marvel.
- 47:40Speaker 1: Not that I said, unto thee. Ye must be born
- 47:43Speaker 1: again John three three seven. The Holy Spirit is essential
- 47:48Speaker 1: for the Christian life. In John fourteen twenty six, Jesus said,
- 47:53Speaker 1: but the comforter, which is the Holy ghost, whom the
- 47:56Speaker 1: Father will send in my name. He shall teach you
- 47:58Speaker 1: all things, bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I
- 48:02Speaker 1: have said unto you John fourteen twenty six. The Holy
- 48:07Speaker 1: Spirit guides, comforts and strengthens us in our walk with God.
- 48:11Speaker 1: To live a victorious life, we must put on the
- 48:14Speaker 1: armor of God. In Ephesian six ten eighteen, Paul describes, Finally,
- 48:20Speaker 1: my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the
- 48:23Speaker 1: power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God,
- 48:27Speaker 1: that ye may be able to stand against the wiles
- 48:29Speaker 1: of the devil. For we wrestle not against flesh and blood,
- 48:33Speaker 1: but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the
- 48:37Speaker 1: darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. Wherefore,
- 48:42Speaker 1: take unto you the whole armor of God, that ye
- 48:45Speaker 1: may be able to withstand in the evil day. And
- 48:48Speaker 1: having done all to stand, stand therefore, having your loins
- 48:53Speaker 1: girt about with truth, and having on the breastplate of righteousness,
- 48:57Speaker 1: and your feet shod with the preparation of the God
- 49:00Speaker 1: Hospel of Peace, above all, taking the shield of faith,
- 49:04Speaker 1: wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery
- 49:06Speaker 1: darts of the wicked, and take the helmet of salvation
- 49:10Speaker 1: and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word
- 49:12Speaker 1: of God. Praying always with all prayer and supplication in
- 49:16Speaker 1: the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication
- 49:20Speaker 1: for all saints. Ephesians six ten eighteen. Prayer is a
- 49:26Speaker 1: vital part of the Christian life. In First Thessalonians five
- 49:29Speaker 1: point seventeen, Paul exhorts us to pray without ceasing. Through prayer,
- 49:34Speaker 1: we communicate with God, seek his will, and receive strength
- 49:38Speaker 1: and guidance. Jesus taught us the importance of prayer in
- 49:42Speaker 1: Matthew six nine thirteen, where he gave us the Lord's
- 49:45Speaker 1: Prayer as a model of prayer. Fellowship with other believers
- 49:51Speaker 1: is essential for spiritual growth. In Hebrews ten twenty four
- 49:55Speaker 1: twenty five, we are encouraged to gather together, and let
- 49:59Speaker 1: us consider one another to provoke unto love and to
- 50:02Speaker 1: good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together as
- 50:07Speaker 1: the manner of some is, but exhorting one another. And
- 50:10Speaker 1: so much the more as ye see the day approaching
- 50:14Speaker 1: Hebrews ten twenty four to twenty five. Fellowship strengthens and
- 50:18Speaker 1: encourages us to stand firm in faith. Serving others is
- 50:22Speaker 1: an expression of Christ's love in us. In Mark ten
- 50:26Speaker 1: forty five, Jesus said, for even the son of Man
- 50:29Speaker 1: came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and
- 50:33Speaker 1: to give his life a ransom for many Mark ten
- 50:36Speaker 1: forty five. We should follow his example of humble and
- 50:39Speaker 1: loving service. Therefore, as we consider our eternal destiny, let
- 50:45Speaker 1: us remember that the scriptures warn and guide us, pointing
- 50:49Speaker 1: us to God's redemptive love through Jesus Christ. He desires
- 50:53Speaker 1: that everyone come to repentance and know the eternal life
- 50:56Speaker 1: he offers. May we live lives that glorify God God,
- 51:00Speaker 1: and share the good news of his salvation with the world.
- 51:04Speaker 1: In all things, May we seek to reflect God's love, grace,
- 51:07Speaker 1: and truth, living for his glory and eagerly awaiting the
- 51:11Speaker 1: day when we will be with Him in eternity. Descending
- 51:14Speaker 1: to Sheol the reality of hell and the path to salvation.
- 51:19Speaker 1: The Hebrews spoke of descending to Sheol, or the place
- 51:22Speaker 1: of corruption. The Greeks mentioned the invisible world. Throughout history
- 51:28Speaker 1: and across cultures, there is a persistent recognition of a
- 51:32Speaker 1: place of punishment after death. Reflecting an innate understanding of
- 51:36Speaker 1: justice and accountability. In the New Testament, Jesus spoke more
- 51:41Speaker 1: about hell than heaven. He described it as a place
- 51:44Speaker 1: of outer darkness, where there will be weeping and gnashing
- 51:48Speaker 1: of teeth. This vivid image conveys the severity and permanence
- 51:52Speaker 1: of separation from God, emphasizing the importance of our choices
- 51:57Speaker 1: in this life and the consequences they bring in. Then
- 52:01Speaker 1: the good news, however, is that God has provided a
- 52:04Speaker 1: way of escape from hell through faith in Jesus Christ.
- 52:08Speaker 1: He came to seek and save the lost, offering forgiveness
- 52:11Speaker 1: and eternal life to all who believe in him. John three,
- 52:14Speaker 1: sixteen seventeen proclaims, for God so loved the world that
- 52:18Speaker 1: he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in
- 52:22Speaker 1: him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God
- 52:26Speaker 1: sent not his son into the world to condemn the world,
- 52:29Speaker 1: but that the world through him might be saved. John three,
- 52:33Speaker 1: sixteen seventeen. This profound truth reveals God's loving heart and
- 52:37Speaker 1: his desire for all to come to repentance. The reality
- 52:41Speaker 1: of hell serves as a sober reminder of the gravity
- 52:44Speaker 1: of sin and the urgent need for repentance. It calls
- 52:48Speaker 1: us to a deeper understanding of God's justice and mercy.
- 52:52Speaker 1: While the thought of eternal punishment is frightening, it also
- 52:55Speaker 1: magnifies God's grace and love. In providing a savior, Jesus
- 53:00Speaker 1: Christ offers hope, redemption, and the promise of eternal life
- 53:04Speaker 1: with him. Our response to this offer determines our eternal destiny. Therefore,
- 53:10Speaker 1: we must heed these warnings, embrace the salvation offered by Christ,
- 53:15Speaker 1: and live lives that reflect his love and truth. This
- 53:19Speaker 1: message is a divine gift intended to guide us to
- 53:22Speaker 1: eternal life and communion with God. Matthew twenty three thirty
- 53:26Speaker 1: three reflects the stern warning, ye serpents, ye generation of vipers,
- 53:32Speaker 1: How can ye escape the damnation of Hell? Matthew twenty
- 53:36Speaker 1: three thirty three. One of the most vivid descriptions of
- 53:40Speaker 1: hell comes from Jesus in his parable of the rich
- 53:43Speaker 1: Man and Lazarus, highlighting the suffering of the unbeliever separated
- 53:48Speaker 1: from God. The rich man, seeing Abraham afar off with
- 53:53Speaker 1: Lazarus at his side, asked for relief in his agony,
- 53:57Speaker 1: but Abraham said there was a great chasm fixed between
- 54:01Speaker 1: the two worlds, making it impossible to pass from one
- 54:04Speaker 1: side to the other. In other words, the man in
- 54:07Speaker 1: hell had chosen his path during his earthly life and
- 54:10Speaker 1: now had to endure the consequences of his decision to
- 54:13Speaker 1: live for himself instead of for God, with no second chance.
- 54:18Speaker 1: Hell is a reality affirmed by Jesus and the teachings
- 54:22Speaker 1: of the Bible. God does not send man there willingly.
- 54:26Speaker 1: Man condemns himself to eternal hell due to his blindness, stubbornness,
- 54:31Speaker 1: self centeredness, and love for sinful pleasure, refusing God's path
- 54:36Speaker 1: of salvation and the hope of eternal life with him. Yes,
- 54:41Speaker 1: there is an alternative to heaven, and whatever our imagination
- 54:44Speaker 1: about it, we know it will be a separation from
- 54:47Speaker 1: God and all that is holy and good. We might
- 54:51Speaker 1: question why we ignore heaven, acting as if it doesn't matter.
- 54:56Speaker 1: Why is there a general lack of attention to heaven
- 54:58Speaker 1: in modern thought and preaching. If we start to think
- 55:01Speaker 1: about the reasons for the disinterest in heaven, here are
- 55:04Speaker 1: some conclusions. Promises of a paradise on earth tend to
- 55:08Speaker 1: make us think of ourselves, but things will be different
- 55:11Speaker 1: in heaven. We will experience the truth of the Catechism.
- 55:16Speaker 1: The chief end of man is to glorify God and
- 55:18Speaker 1: enjoy Him forever. In heaven, God, not man, will be
- 55:22Speaker 1: at the center of everything, and his glory will be dominant.
- 55:26Speaker 1: The Word of God assures us that heaven is a
- 55:28Speaker 1: specific place. Jesus told us in John fourteen two three.
- 55:34Speaker 1: In my father's house are many mansions. If it were
- 55:38Speaker 1: not so, I would have told you I go to
- 55:41Speaker 1: prepare a place for you. And if I go and
- 55:44Speaker 1: prepare a place for you, I will come again and
- 55:46Speaker 1: receive you unto myself, that where I am there you
- 55:51Speaker 1: may be. Also in a sense, Christians are homeless. Our
- 55:56Speaker 1: true home awaits us, prepared by the Lord Jesus Christ.
- 56:00Speaker 1: There are other stories in the Bible where not following
- 56:03Speaker 1: God's rules led to problems. The banishment of Adam and
- 56:06Speaker 1: Eve from the Garden of Eden in Genesis two sixteen
- 56:09Speaker 1: to seventeen, where God commanded them not to eat from
- 56:13Speaker 1: the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. The
- 56:16Speaker 1: removal of Saul is King for his rebellion and disrespect
- 56:19Speaker 1: towards God in First Samuel thirteen fourteen and fifteen, nineteen
- 56:24Speaker 1: twenty six, and Aichan's disobedience in Joshua seven, which brought
- 56:29Speaker 1: God's wrath upon all Israel, resulting in their defeat before
- 56:33Speaker 1: the city of Aye. These episodes highlight the importance of
- 56:36Speaker 1: repentance from our mistakes and obedience to God. These are
- 56:40Speaker 1: clear warnings in the Bible that God shares so that
- 56:43Speaker 1: people do not miss the chance to be part of
- 56:45Speaker 1: His kingdom. While alive. We must seek the face of God,
- 56:50Speaker 1: for the spirit cannot repent or confess it sins after death.
- 56:54Speaker 1: This is why those who find themselves in the lake
- 56:57Speaker 1: of fire will desire death, but will not. In Isaiah
- 57:01Speaker 1: fifty five six seven, we are advised to seek the
- 57:04Speaker 1: Lord while he may be found, and to call upon
- 57:07Speaker 1: him while he is near. The wicked must forsake his
- 57:10Speaker 1: way and the unrighteous man his thoughts. Let him return
- 57:14Speaker 1: to the Lord, who will have mercy on him, and
- 57:17Speaker 1: to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. God promised
- 57:21Speaker 1: that every converted and truly repentant soul will live and
- 57:25Speaker 1: not die, and he is faithful to his promises. Ezekiel
- 57:29Speaker 1: eighteen twenty one twenty three says that if the wicked
- 57:32Speaker 1: turns from all the sins, he has committed and keeps
- 57:35Speaker 1: all of God's statutes and does what is lawful and right,
- 57:39Speaker 1: he shall surely live. He shall not die. Have I
- 57:43Speaker 1: any pleasure at all that the wicked should die, says
- 57:46Speaker 1: the Lord God, and not that he should turn from
- 57:49Speaker 1: his ways and live. God's mercy and willingness to forgive
- 57:53Speaker 1: are abundantly clear in the scriptures. God does not desire
- 57:57Speaker 1: the death of the wicked, but rather that he should
- 58:00Speaker 1: turn from his ways and live. This divine compassion is
- 58:04Speaker 1: echoed throughout the Bible, offering hope and redemption to all
- 58:08Speaker 1: who sincerely seek him. The promise of eternal life is
- 58:12Speaker 1: not limited by past transgressions, but is available to all
- 58:15Speaker 1: who genuinely repent and turn to God with a sincere heart. Moreover,
- 58:21Speaker 1: the concept of a place prepared in heaven provides immense
- 58:25Speaker 1: comfort and security to believers. It means that our journey
- 58:29Speaker 1: on earth, though filled with trials and tribulations, culminates in
- 58:33Speaker 1: a return to a home of eternal peace and joy.
- 58:36Speaker 1: This divine preparation highlights the personal care and love that
- 58:40Speaker 1: God has for each of his children, ensuring that our
- 58:43Speaker 1: eternal dwelling is secure and gloriously magnificent in heaven, our
- 58:48Speaker 1: existence will be transformed beyond our current understanding. We will
- 58:52Speaker 1: no longer be burdened by the pains and limitations of
- 58:55Speaker 1: this world. Instead, we will experience a fullness of joy
- 59:00Speaker 1: and a depth of communion with God and each other
- 59:03Speaker 1: that surpasses any earthly experience. The anticipation of this glorious
- 59:08Speaker 1: future should inspire us to live lives that reflect our
- 59:11Speaker 1: heavenly citizenship, marked by love, justice, and a fervent pursuit
- 59:16Speaker 1: of God's will. Furthermore, the call to repentance in faith
- 59:21Speaker 1: is a central theme in Jesus's earthly ministry. He continually
- 59:25Speaker 1: invited people to enter into a transformative relationship with God,
- 59:29Speaker 1: emphasizing that the Kingdom of Heaven is near. This invitation
- 59:33Speaker 1: is still extended to us today, urging us to embrace
- 59:36Speaker 1: the Gospel and live in the light of God's eternal promises.
- 59:40Speaker 1: In conclusion, the severe warnings and hopeful assurances in the
- 59:44Speaker 1: Bible serve to guide us toward a life of faithfulness
- 59:47Speaker 1: and devotion to God. They remind us of the serious
- 59:52Speaker 1: consequences of sin and the limitless grace available through Jesus Christ.
- 59:57Speaker 1: Let us heed these divine messages. Seek the Lord with
- 1:00:00Speaker 1: all our hearts, and live in a manner worthy of
- 1:00:03Speaker 1: the calling we have received. This message is a divine
- 1:00:07Speaker 1: gift meant to draw us closer to God and prepare
- 1:00:10Speaker 1: us for the eternal joy that awaits us in His
- 1:00:13Speaker 1: glorious presence. Christians are called not only to repentance, but
- 1:00:18Speaker 1: also to spread the word of God both near and far.
- 1:00:22Speaker 1: Before becoming Christians, we must be disciples, followers of Christ
- 1:00:27Speaker 1: like Peter, James, John, and the other nine Disciples, bearers
- 1:00:31Speaker 1: of the Good News. In James five, nineteen twenty. We
- 1:00:34Speaker 1: are reminded, brethren, if any of you do err from
- 1:00:39Speaker 1: the truth, and one convert him, let him know that
- 1:00:41Speaker 1: he who converts the sinner from the error of his
- 1:00:44Speaker 1: way shall save a soul from death and shall cover
- 1:00:47Speaker 1: a multitude of sins. From Genesis to Revelation, God severely
- 1:00:53Speaker 1: criticizes disobedience. Thus believers must ensure that they follow God's
- 1:00:59Speaker 1: word as present in the scriptures. Behold, to obey is
- 1:01:03Speaker 1: better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.
- 1:01:08Speaker 1: First Samuel fifteen twenty two. Obedience is rewarding and only
- 1:01:12Speaker 1: possible with trust. Noah Upon hearing God built the ark,
- 1:01:17Speaker 1: protecting his family and the animals, avoiding death. Joshua also
- 1:01:22Speaker 1: obeyed God's words and conquered Jericho. Believers must learn to
- 1:01:26Speaker 1: trust God, for by obeying his words, they will enjoy
- 1:01:29Speaker 1: the special gifts of the Kingdom. Let us pray, Heavenly Father,
- 1:01:33Speaker 1: Almighty and Eternal God, We gather in your presence with
- 1:01:37Speaker 1: humble hearts and reflective spirits, contemplating the reality of the
- 1:01:41Speaker 1: day of Judgment, a day foretold in your Holy Word
- 1:01:44Speaker 1: as a time of reckoning and truth. Grant us the
- 1:01:47Speaker 1: grace to understand your teachings and the courage to live
- 1:01:50Speaker 1: them out. Lord, you are the creator of all, the
- 1:01:54Speaker 1: judge of judges, and the supreme authority over our lives.
- 1:01:58Speaker 1: Your wisdom is unfathomable, and your judgments are just and true.
- 1:02:03Speaker 1: We acknowledge our human limitations and our need for your
- 1:02:06Speaker 1: guidance and mercy. Merciful Father, in light of your word,
- 1:02:10Speaker 1: we recognize our failures in the times we have strayed
- 1:02:13Speaker 1: from your path. We confess our sins, known and unknown,
- 1:02:18Speaker 1: and humbly seek your forgiveness. The day will come when
- 1:02:21Speaker 1: every action, word, and thought will be brought to light
- 1:02:24Speaker 1: a day when the secrets of our hearts will be
- 1:02:26Speaker 1: revealed and the justice of God will prevail. Help us
- 1:02:30Speaker 1: to understand the seriousness of this truth, not as a
- 1:02:33Speaker 1: source of fear, but as a call to live a
- 1:02:36Speaker 1: life that honors you, Divine Master, Guide us in your wisdom,
- 1:02:40Speaker 1: helping us to discern right from wrong and choose the
- 1:02:43Speaker 1: path that leads to life. May your Holy Spirit grant
- 1:02:46Speaker 1: us deeper understanding and strength to follow your way. Gracious God,
- 1:02:51Speaker 1: help us to live each day with the awareness of eternity.
- 1:02:55Speaker 1: May this knowledge inspire us to acts of kindness, compassion,
- 1:02:58Speaker 1: and love. All Allow us to be instruments of your peace,
- 1:03:02Speaker 1: spreading your light in a world that often walks in darkness.
- 1:03:05Speaker 1: Loving Father, fill our hearts with your love so that
- 1:03:08Speaker 1: we may see others as you see them. Teach us
- 1:03:11Speaker 1: to love our neighbors as ourselves, and to extend your
- 1:03:14Speaker 1: grace and forgiveness to those around us. Lord. In our
- 1:03:18Speaker 1: journey through life, we face trials and challenges. In those moments,
- 1:03:23Speaker 1: remind us of your presence and your promise never to
- 1:03:26Speaker 1: leave or forsake us. Grant us the strength to persevere,
- 1:03:30Speaker 1: keeping our eyes fixed on You. The author and finisher
- 1:03:34Speaker 1: of our faith. Savior of the world, We thank you
- 1:03:37Speaker 1: for the gift of salvation through your son Jesus Christ.
- 1:03:42Speaker 1: In him we find hope and security, knowing that those
- 1:03:45Speaker 1: who believe in Him will not perish but have eternal life.
- 1:03:49Speaker 1: Help us to hold on to this hope as an
- 1:03:51Speaker 1: anchor for our souls. Heavenly Father, we lift up those
- 1:03:54Speaker 1: who do not yet know you. May your spirit move
- 1:03:57Speaker 1: in their hearts, drawing them to the truth of the
- 1:03:59Speaker 1: Gold Gospel. Use us as your vessels to share your
- 1:04:03Speaker 1: love and truth with them. We thank you, Lord for
- 1:04:06Speaker 1: your endless mercy and grace in our weaknesses. You are
- 1:04:10Speaker 1: strong in our failures. You are forgiving. May we never
- 1:04:15Speaker 1: underestimate the depth of your love and the sacrifice of
- 1:04:18Speaker 1: your son on our behalf. As we anticipate the day
- 1:04:22Speaker 1: of judgment, Help us, o, God, to prepare our hearts
- 1:04:25Speaker 1: and minds. May we live each day in a manner
- 1:04:28Speaker 1: worthy of your calling, always aware of the eternal significance
- 1:04:32Speaker 1: of our choices and actions. Almighty God, we trust in
- 1:04:36Speaker 1: your care. May our lives be a testimony to your glory.
- 1:04:40Speaker 1: And may we face the day of judgment with peace,
- 1:04:43Speaker 1: knowing that in you, we find our refuge and strength
- 1:04:46Speaker 1: in the precious name of Jesus Christ. We pray Amen.
- 1:04:51Speaker 1: The Bible also teaches us the importance of sharing this
- 1:04:54Speaker 1: hope and truth with others, as Jesus commanded in the
- 1:04:57Speaker 1: Great Commission, Go therefore and make disciples of all nations,
- 1:05:02Speaker 1: baptizing them in the name of the Father and of
- 1:05:04Speaker 1: the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to
- 1:05:07Speaker 1: observe all things that I have commanded you. And lo
- 1:05:11Speaker 1: I am with you always, even to the end of
- 1:05:14Speaker 1: the age. Amen. Matthew twenty eighth, nineteen twenty. This call
- 1:05:21Speaker 1: to evangelize and disciple is a crucial part of our
- 1:05:24Speaker 1: faith journey. It is through our testimony that others can
- 1:05:27Speaker 1: come to know the saving grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. Moreover,
- 1:05:31Speaker 1: God's love compels us to live his commandments not only
- 1:05:35Speaker 1: in words, but in action. The apostle John reminds us
- 1:05:39Speaker 1: of the practical expression of God's love. My little children,
- 1:05:43Speaker 1: let us not love in word or in tongue, but
- 1:05:46Speaker 1: in deed and in truth First John three eighteen. Our
- 1:05:51Speaker 1: faith is demonstrated through our deeds, reflecting the transformative power
- 1:05:55Speaker 1: of the Gospel in our lives. As we meditate on
- 1:05:59Speaker 1: these truths, let us be encouraged to deepen our relationship
- 1:06:03Speaker 1: with God, seek his will daily, and live in a
- 1:06:07Speaker 1: way that brings honor and glory to His name. Our
- 1:06:11Speaker 1: journey of faith is one of continuous growth, learning, and
- 1:06:14Speaker 1: dependence on God. Each step we take in obedience to
- 1:06:18Speaker 1: his word draws us closer to Him and strengthens our
- 1:06:21Speaker 1: testimony to the world. In all things, let us remember
- 1:06:25Speaker 1: the assurance given to us in Romans eight thirty eight
- 1:06:28Speaker 1: thirty nine. For I am persuaded that neither death, nor life,
- 1:06:32Speaker 1: nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor
- 1:06:36Speaker 1: things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other
- 1:06:39Speaker 1: created thing, shall be able to separate us from the
- 1:06:43Speaker 1: Love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
- 1:06:47Speaker 1: This unwavering promise provides comfort and hope as we face
- 1:06:51Speaker 1: life's challenges, secure in the knowledge that we are forever
- 1:06:54Speaker 1: upheld by the love of our Savior. The Bible instructs
- 1:06:58Speaker 1: us on the importance of holyliness in our walk with God.
- 1:07:02Speaker 1: Hebrews twelve fourteen exhorts us pursue peace with all people
- 1:07:07Speaker 1: and holiness without which no one will see The Lord
- 1:07:11Speaker 1: Holiness is essential to maintaining an intimate relationship with God
- 1:07:15Speaker 1: and reflecting His nature in our daily lives. This pursuit
- 1:07:19Speaker 1: of holiness must be a priority guiding our actions, thoughts,
- 1:07:23Speaker 1: and attitudes. One Peter one fifteen to sixteen reinforces this need.
- 1:07:29Speaker 1: But as he who called you is holy, you also
- 1:07:32Speaker 1: be holy in all your conduct, because it is written,
- 1:07:35Speaker 1: be holy, for I am holy. Holiness is not just
- 1:07:40Speaker 1: a command, but a response to God's holy character. It
- 1:07:44Speaker 1: is an ongoing process of transformation where we seek to
- 1:07:47Speaker 1: conform to the image of Christ. Repentance is a central
- 1:07:51Speaker 1: theme in the message of the Gospel. Jesus began his
- 1:07:55Speaker 1: ministry proclaiming the time is fulfilled and the Kingdom of
- 1:07:58Speaker 1: God is at hand. Repent and believe. In the Gospel
- 1:08:02Speaker 1: Mark one fifteen, to repent means to change direction, abandon sin,
- 1:08:07Speaker 1: and turn to God. It is a response to the
- 1:08:10Speaker 1: recognition of our sinfulness and the need for God's grace.
- 1:08:14Speaker 1: Acts three, nineteen to twenty calls us to repentance. Repent
- 1:08:18Speaker 1: therefore and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out,
- 1:08:22Speaker 1: so that times of refreshing may come from the presence
- 1:08:25Speaker 1: of the Lord and that he may send Jesus Christ,
- 1:08:28Speaker 1: who was preached to you before. Repentance brings forgiveness and
- 1:08:32Speaker 1: spiritual renewal, paving the way for a life filled with
- 1:08:36Speaker 1: God's presence. God is abundantly merciful and desires that all
- 1:08:41Speaker 1: repent and be saved. Tewod Peter three nine assures us
- 1:08:45Speaker 1: the Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some
- 1:08:49Speaker 1: count slackness, but is long suffering toward us, not willing
- 1:08:53Speaker 1: that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.
- 1:08:57Speaker 1: This divine patience is an expression of God, God's love,
- 1:09:00Speaker 1: giving us time an opportunity to turn to him. Lamentations
- 1:09:05Speaker 1: three twenty two to twenty three reminds us of God's
- 1:09:08Speaker 1: constant renewal of mercy. Through the Lord's mercies. We are
- 1:09:12Speaker 1: not consumed because his compassions fail, not they are new
- 1:09:17Speaker 1: every morning. Great is your faithfulness. God's mercy is our
- 1:09:21Speaker 1: hope and security, sustaining us through all moments of our lives.
- 1:09:25Speaker 1: Though God is merciful, he is also just. God's justice
- 1:09:29Speaker 1: demands that sin be punished. Roman six twenty three declares
- 1:09:33Speaker 1: for the wages of sin is death, but the gift
- 1:09:36Speaker 1: of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.
- 1:09:40Speaker 1: Sin has serious consequences, but God's grace offers a way
- 1:09:44Speaker 1: of escape through Jesus Christ. Psaulm. Eighty nine fourteen speaks
- 1:09:49Speaker 1: of the foundation of God's throne. Righteousness and justice are
- 1:09:53Speaker 1: the foundation of your throne. Mercy and truth go before
- 1:09:57Speaker 1: your face. Justice is perfect and intertwined with His mercy,
- 1:10:03Speaker 1: offering redemption and eternal life to those who believe. God
- 1:10:08Speaker 1: is faithful in all his promises. First Corinthians one nine
- 1:10:12Speaker 1: reminds us God is faithful by whom you were called
- 1:10:16Speaker 1: into the fellowship of His son, Jesus Christ, our Lord.
- 1:10:19Speaker 1: God's faithfulness gives us confidence that He will fulfill all
- 1:10:23Speaker 1: he has promised. Lamentations three twenty one to twenty three
- 1:10:26Speaker 1: states this I recall to my mind. Therefore I have
- 1:10:30Speaker 1: hope through the Lord's mercies. We are not consumed because
- 1:10:34Speaker 1: His compassions fail not they are new every morning. Great
- 1:10:39Speaker 1: is your faithfulness In the midst of trials. We can
- 1:10:43Speaker 1: trust in God's faithfulness to sustain and guide us. The
- 1:10:48Speaker 1: Holy Spirit plays a vital role in our spiritual transformation.
- 1:10:51Speaker 1: He convicts us of sin, guides us into truth, and
- 1:10:55Speaker 1: empowers us to live a holy life. John sixteen eight
- 1:10:59Speaker 1: to thirteen describes the work of the Holy Spirit. And
- 1:11:03Speaker 1: when he has come, he will convict the world of
- 1:11:05Speaker 1: sin and of righteousness, and of judgment. Of sin because
- 1:11:09Speaker 1: they do not believe in me. Of righteousness, because I
- 1:11:13Speaker 1: go to my Father, and you see me no more.
- 1:11:16Speaker 1: Of judgment, because the ruler of this world is judged.
- 1:11:19Speaker 1: I still have many things to say to you, but
- 1:11:21Speaker 1: you cannot bear them now. However, when he the Spirit
- 1:11:26Speaker 1: of Truth, has come, he will guide you into all truth.
- 1:11:30Speaker 1: For he will not speak on his own authority, but
- 1:11:33Speaker 1: whatever he hears, he will speak, and he will tell
- 1:11:36Speaker 1: you things to come. The Holy Spirit is our helper
- 1:11:40Speaker 1: and comforter, strengthening us in our faith. Walk. Ephesians one
- 1:11:44Speaker 1: thirteen fourteen assures us of the Holy Spirit's presence as
- 1:11:48Speaker 1: a seal of our inheritance. In him, you also trusted
- 1:11:52Speaker 1: after you heard the Word of Truth, the Gospel of
- 1:11:55Speaker 1: your salvation, in whom also having believed, you were sealed
- 1:11:59Speaker 1: with the Holy Spirit of Promise, who is the guarantee
- 1:12:02Speaker 1: of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession.
- 1:12:06Speaker 1: To the praise of His glory. Prayer is fundamental to
- 1:12:10Speaker 1: our relationship with God. It is through prayer that we
- 1:12:14Speaker 1: communicate with God, present our needs and seek his direction.
- 1:12:19Speaker 1: Philippians four six to seven encourages us to pray, be
- 1:12:24Speaker 1: anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication
- 1:12:28Speaker 1: with thanksgiving. Let your requests be made known to God.
- 1:12:31Speaker 1: And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will
- 1:12:35Speaker 1: guard your hearts and minds. Through Christ Jesus. Prayer connects
- 1:12:39Speaker 1: us to God's heart and allows us to experience his
- 1:12:42Speaker 1: peace and guidance. James five point sixteen highlights the power
- 1:12:46Speaker 1: of prayer. Confess your trespasses to one another, and pray
- 1:12:50Speaker 1: for one another that you may be healed. The effective,
- 1:12:54Speaker 1: fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much. Fellowship with
- 1:12:59Speaker 1: other believers is essential for our spiritual growth. Hebrews ten
- 1:13:04Speaker 1: twenty four to twenty five exhorts us not to forsake
- 1:13:07Speaker 1: our assembling, and let us consider one another in order
- 1:13:11Speaker 1: to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the
- 1:13:14Speaker 1: assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some,
- 1:13:18Speaker 1: but exhorting one another. And so much the more. As
- 1:13:21Speaker 1: you see the day approaching the community of believers offers support, encouragement,
- 1:13:28Speaker 1: and opportunities to serve. Acts two forty two provides an
- 1:13:34Speaker 1: example of the communal life of early Christians, and they
- 1:13:37Speaker 1: continued steadfastly in the apostles, doctrine and fellowship, in the
- 1:13:41Speaker 1: breaking of bread, and in prayers. The Bible is clear
- 1:13:45Speaker 1: about the need to live in holiness and obedience. Ephesians
- 1:13:49Speaker 1: four one three calls us to live worthy of our calling.
- 1:13:52Speaker 1: I therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you to
- 1:13:56Speaker 1: walk worthy of the calling with which you were called,
- 1:13:59Speaker 1: with all lowlinessness and gentleness, with long suffering, bearing with
- 1:14:03Speaker 1: one another in love, endeavoring to keep the unity of
- 1:14:07Speaker 1: the spirit in the bond of peace. Obedience to God
- 1:14:11Speaker 1: is an expression of our faith and love for Him.
- 1:14:15Speaker 1: John fourteen fifteen reminds us, if you love me, keep
- 1:14:18Speaker 1: my commandments. Obedience is a sign of our transformation and
- 1:14:22Speaker 1: commitment to God. The promise of eternal life is a
- 1:14:26Speaker 1: source of hope and comfort for believers. One John five
- 1:14:31Speaker 1: eleven thirteen declares, and this is the testimony that God
- 1:14:35Speaker 1: has given us eternal life. And this life is in
- 1:14:38Speaker 1: his son. He who has the Son has life, He
- 1:14:42Speaker 1: who does not have the Son of God does not
- 1:14:44Speaker 1: have life. These things I have written to you who
- 1:14:48Speaker 1: believe in the name of the Son of God, that
- 1:14:51Speaker 1: you may know that you have eternal life, and that
- 1:14:53Speaker 1: you may continue to believe in the name of the
- 1:14:56Speaker 1: Son of God. Eternal life is a gift from God,
- 1:15:01Speaker 1: assured through faith in Jesus Christ. This hope sustains us
- 1:15:05Speaker 1: and motivates us to live for God. God's grace is
- 1:15:09Speaker 1: the foundation of our salvation. Ephesians two eight nine reminds us,
- 1:15:15Speaker 1: for by grace you have been saved through faith, and
- 1:15:18Speaker 1: that not of yourselves. It is the gift of God,
- 1:15:21Speaker 1: not of works, lest anyone should boast. Salvation is an
- 1:15:25Speaker 1: unmerited gift from God received by faith in Jesus Christ.
- 1:15:30Speaker 1: God's grace also enables us to live holy lives and
- 1:15:33Speaker 1: fulfill His purpose. Tewod Corinthians twelve nine assures us, and
- 1:15:38Speaker 1: he said to me, my grace is sufficient for you,
- 1:15:42Speaker 1: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Therefore, most gladly,
- 1:15:46Speaker 1: I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power
- 1:15:49Speaker 1: of Christ may rest upon me. The reality of hell
- 1:15:53Speaker 1: and the promise of heaven serve as an urgent call
- 1:15:56Speaker 1: for all of us. We are invited to embrace the
- 1:15:59Speaker 1: salvation offered by Jesus Christ, live in holiness and obedience,
- 1:16:04Speaker 1: and share the hope of the Gospel with others. May
- 1:16:07Speaker 1: we live each day with an awareness of eternity, trusting
- 1:16:11Speaker 1: in God's grace, mercy, and faithfulness. May our lives reflect
- 1:16:15Speaker 1: God's love and serve as a testimony to his wonderful salvation.
