- 0:01Speaker 1: Is today the day where you make excuses or is
- 0:06Speaker 1: today the day you make a decision?
- 0:10Speaker 2: A dream without a deadline will become your nightmare and
- 0:16Speaker 2: that nightmare will haunt you for the rest of your life.
- 0:22Speaker 3: If you wait until you're ready, you might be waiting
- 0:25Speaker 3: the rest of your life.
- 0:27Speaker 4: You can't keep doing what you've been doing and expect
- 0:30Speaker 4: to get different results.
- 0:32Speaker 2: You're not going to feel the process all the time.
- 0:35Speaker 2: You're not going to see it. Some days you're not
- 0:38Speaker 2: going to want to write about it. You're not going
- 0:39Speaker 2: to want to talk about it. You're not going to
- 0:40Speaker 2: want to think about it. You're going to have migraines
- 0:42Speaker 2: thinking about the sacrifices that are required to get to
- 0:45Speaker 2: this next level.
- 0:47Speaker 5: But just don't stop.
- 0:49Speaker 2: So let the dream destroy you, tear you down, redefine you.
- 0:53Speaker 2: Now most of you say you want to be successful,
- 0:56Speaker 2: but you don't want it bad. You just kind of
- 0:58Speaker 2: want it. You don't want it badder than you want
- 1:00Speaker 2: to party. You don't want it as much as you
- 1:02Speaker 2: want to be cool. Most of you don't want success
- 1:05Speaker 2: as much as you want to sleep.
- 1:06Speaker 6: Let this be day one of the beginning of the
- 1:09Speaker 6: new you.
- 1:10Speaker 3: Death to the old you. Show the world everything that
- 1:14Speaker 3: you got inside.
- 1:15Speaker 6: Show the world that you can become something that nobody
- 1:19Speaker 6: ever thought you could become.
- 1:21Speaker 5: I have to execute.
- 1:22Speaker 2: I have to give it everything I have. Like I
- 1:24Speaker 2: know there is no tomorrow. There is no tomorrow. Everything
- 1:31Speaker 2: that has happened to you. And I want you to
- 1:34Speaker 2: look yourself in the mirror. And I want you to
- 1:36Speaker 2: recite these three words.
- 1:40Speaker 3: I made it.
- 1:43Speaker 2: When others burnt out, when others gave up, you are
- 1:49Speaker 2: still here.
- 1:50Speaker 5: And that counts for something.
- 1:53Speaker 2: Make this year the first year of the best years
- 1:56Speaker 2: of your life.
- 1:58Speaker 5: Be extraordinary.
- 1:59Speaker 2: Be extraordinary.
- 2:00Speaker 5: The world is waiting on you.
- 2:03Speaker 2: Take the year with everything that you have.
- 2:06Speaker 5: So prove them wrong. But prove yourself to be right.
- 2:12Speaker 5: I dare you to take a little pain. I dare you.
- 2:17Speaker 5: I dare you not to go home. Go through it.
- 2:21Speaker 6: You ain't going to die at the end of pain
- 2:23Speaker 6: and success. You're not going to die because you're feeling
- 2:26Speaker 6: a little pain.
- 2:28Speaker 5: You got to change that mindset.
- 2:36Speaker 7: People that are hungry are willing to do the things
- 2:39Speaker 7: today others won't do in order to have the things
- 2:43Speaker 7: tomorrow others won't have.
- 2:47Speaker 2: To have a special life, you have to do special things.
- 2:50Speaker 8: And that usually means putting in the work and loving it.
- 2:57Speaker 6: No one is going to create the future that you
- 3:00Speaker 6: want for you.
- 3:01Speaker 5: We get one opportunity to come this way. We get
- 3:04Speaker 5: one shot. We got one life to live.
- 3:07Speaker 2: Life is too short to make excuses.
- 3:12Speaker 6: I want you to close your eyes and visualize your dream.
- 3:18Speaker 5: I need you to get out of your comfort zone.
- 3:23Speaker 5: If we all woke up ordinary, we all off to
- 3:25Speaker 5: the same start.
- 3:28Speaker 9: You've decided that you're not going to allow the events,
- 3:32Speaker 9: the things, the people, life, determine who you become.
- 3:38Speaker 5: It is a decision that you have to make within yourself.
- 3:41Speaker 10: No one is responsible for that.
- 3:45Speaker 2: Stop waiting to feel like it. Stop waiting until you
- 3:49Speaker 2: see it.
- 3:50Speaker 4: Failure is only permanent if you choose not to get
- 3:54Speaker 4: back up.
- 3:56Speaker 2: And what you do today will determine your future.
- 4:01Speaker 9: And I'm asking you, what do you see in the
- 4:03Speaker 9: future for you? What brought you here today? What caused
- 4:06Speaker 9: you to get up?
- 4:08Speaker 2: You're closer than you've ever been before. You have to.
- 4:12Speaker 5: Do me a favor.
- 4:13Speaker 2: Those 15 minutes are not worth the rest of your life.
- 4:18Speaker 5: It's not easy, but it's worth it.
- 4:22Speaker 6: You woke up this morning to chase your dream until
- 4:25Speaker 6: you catch it.
- 4:26Speaker 2: You're going to have to sacrifice who you used to be.
- 4:30Speaker 5: When you want to sleep, you have to wake up.
- 4:34Speaker 4: So don't run from difficulty.
- 4:37Speaker 5: Run to it.
- 4:39Speaker 3: Because it's always darkest before the dawn.
- 4:42Speaker 6: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, give it 120%.
- 4:52Speaker 2: Every day, every single day is a new beginning.
- 4:55Speaker 5: So take a deep breath.
- 4:58Speaker 11: Inhale.
- 5:00Speaker 12: Exhale.
- 5:01Speaker 5: It's a new day. A new opportunity.
- 5:14Speaker 2: The reason why you're so frustrated and angry and bitter
- 5:20Speaker 2: is because you're functioning on an old software internally.
- 5:26Speaker 5: And life is demanding an upgrade.
- 5:29Speaker 2: And you keep pushing off the alarm saying, remind me tomorrow.
- 5:34Speaker 5: It's time for the next version of yourself. Snap out
- 5:37Speaker 5: of it.
- 5:37Speaker 2: You're going to have to sacrifice who you used to be.
- 5:43Speaker 13: Sacrifice is what's going to get you in the door.
- 5:46Speaker 13: Sacrifice is what's going to have you.
- 5:48Speaker 5: Seated at the table.
- 5:50Speaker 2: College is not high school. And the real world is
- 5:54Speaker 2: not college.
- 5:56Speaker 5: And so you can't keep showing up the old version
- 5:59Speaker 5: of yourself.
- 6:01Speaker 13: And so you've got to learn how to sacrifice your time.
- 6:03Speaker 13: You've got to sacrifice. When you want to sleep, you
- 6:05Speaker 13: have to wake up. When you want to watch that movie,
- 6:08Speaker 13: you've got to read that book. If you want the future,
- 6:11Speaker 13: you've got to sacrifice your time.
- 6:14Speaker 4: Time.
- 6:15Speaker 5: Where we spend our time is what we value most.
- 6:19Speaker 2: Get out of this 30-day mentality and commit for the
- 6:22Speaker 2: rest of your life.
- 6:25Speaker 5: I need you to get out of your comfort zone.
- 6:30Speaker 2: You can't be successful with the companion of comfort.
- 6:35Speaker 5: Comfort and success cannot walk together.
- 6:38Speaker 2: Boss up and admit that you are afraid. You are
- 6:43Speaker 2: afraid to fulfill destiny.
- 6:45Speaker 5: You are afraid to manifest. You are afraid to evolve.
- 6:49Speaker 2: You are afraid to give it everything you have because
- 6:52Speaker 2: you are afraid that people will reject you.
- 6:55Speaker 5: You are afraid to change. You are afraid to move.
- 6:59Speaker 5: Pulse up and admit that you are afraid.
- 7:03Speaker 2: And I'm just believing that today is the day that
- 7:06Speaker 2: you break through.
- 7:08Speaker 13: I need you to tell yourself, I am not afraid.
- 7:12Speaker 13: I am not afraid of pursuing my objectives. I am
- 7:15Speaker 13: not afraid of focusing. I am not afraid of sacrificing.
- 7:19Speaker 13: I am not afraid of giving it everything I have.
- 7:22Speaker 13: I don't care what anybody thinks. I don't care what.
- 7:24Speaker 5: I look like. I'll look crazy if I have to
- 7:27Speaker 5: fulfill my destiny. This is my time.
- 7:33Speaker 2: Late nights, early mornings, sometimes no friends, no family.
- 7:38Speaker 5: I don't know what your sacrifice is.
- 7:40Speaker 2: You just may have to give everything you have.
- 7:46Speaker 5: But in the end, it'll be worth it.
- 8:01Speaker 11: See, happiness is an emotional response to an outcome. If
- 8:05Speaker 11: I win, I will be happy. If I don't, I won't.
- 8:08Speaker 14: It's an if-then, cause-and-effect, quid pro quo standard that we
- 8:13Speaker 14: cannot sustain because we immediately raise it every time we
- 8:17Speaker 14: attain it. See, happiness demands a certain outcome.
- 8:22Speaker 11: It is result-reliant.
- 8:24Speaker 14: And I say if happiness is what you're after, then
- 8:27Speaker 14: you're going to be let down frequently and you're going
- 8:29Speaker 14: to be unhappy Much of your time.
- 8:32Speaker 5: Joy though.
- 8:34Speaker 11: Joy is a different thing. It's something else. Joy is
- 8:36Speaker 11: not a choice. It's not a response. To some result.
- 8:41Speaker 14: It's a constant. Joy is the feeling that we have.
- 8:44Speaker 14: From doing what we are fashioned.
- 8:47Speaker 11: To do. It is just as important. Where we are not.
- 8:54Speaker 11: As it is where we are. Look the first step.
- 8:59Speaker 14: That leads to our identity in life, is usually not,
- 9:05Speaker 14: I know who I am.
- 9:06Speaker 11: I know who I am.
- 9:07Speaker 14: That's not the first step. The first step's usually, I
- 9:10Speaker 14: know who I am not. Process of elimination. Defining ourselves
- 9:16Speaker 14: by what we are not is the first step that
- 9:18Speaker 14: leads us to really knowing who we are. South of
- 9:23Speaker 14: New Orleans, a few years ago, and I went to
- 9:25Speaker 14: a voodoo shop. And they had this, this, this, wouldn't.
- 9:30Speaker 11: Partition against the wall of these columns.
- 9:32Speaker 14: And in these columns were all these vials of these
- 9:35Speaker 14: magic potions, right? And the headings above each potion defining
- 9:39Speaker 14: what they would give you were things like fertility, health, family,
- 9:44Speaker 14: legal health, energy, forgiveness, money.
- 9:50Speaker 11: Guess which column was empty? Money. Let's admit it.
- 9:58Speaker 14: Money is king today, it's what make the world the
- 10:00Speaker 14: world go round.
- 10:01Speaker 11: It is success. The more we have, the more successful
- 10:05Speaker 11: we are, right?
- 10:06Speaker 14: And I would argue that our cultural values have even
- 10:11Speaker 14: been financialized.
- 10:13Speaker 11: Humility is not in vogue anymore. It's too passive.
- 10:17Speaker 14: It's a get-rich-quick-on-the-internet-richest-15-minutes-of-fame world that we live in, and we
- 10:22Speaker 14: see it every day. But we all want to succeed, right?
- 10:25Speaker 14: So the question that we've got to ask ourselves is,
- 10:27Speaker 14: what success is to us? What success is to you?
- 10:32Speaker 11: Is it more money? That's fine. I've got nothing against money.
- 10:37Speaker 11: I don't. Maybe it's a healthy family. Maybe it's a
- 10:42Speaker 11: happy marriage. Maybe it's to help others, to be famous,
- 10:44Speaker 11: to be spiritually sound. Leave the world a little bit
- 10:48Speaker 11: better place than you found it. Continue to ask yourself
- 10:52Speaker 11: that question.
- 10:52Speaker 14: Now your answer may change over time and that's fine.
- 10:56Speaker 11: But do yourself this favor.
- 10:59Speaker 14: Whatever your answer is, don't choose anything that will jeopardize yourself.
- 11:05Speaker 14: Prioritize who you are, who you want to be, and
- 11:09Speaker 14: don't spend time with anything that antagonizes your character.
- 11:14Speaker 11: Don't drink the Kool-Aid, man. It tastes sweet, but you
- 11:17Speaker 11: will get cavities tomorrow. All right. Life is not a
- 11:20Speaker 11: popularity contest. Be brave. Take the hill. But first, answer
- 11:24Speaker 11: that question. What's my hill?
- 11:31Speaker 14: There's a responsibility to freedom and that there is freedom
- 11:36Speaker 14: in responsibility.
- 11:39Speaker 15: You know, and that earn your way there.
- 11:43Speaker 14: We remember the stuff we earn, the stuff we experience
- 11:45Speaker 14: more than what the teacher tells us or what someone
- 11:48Speaker 14: gives us for free.
- 11:50Speaker 15: We just do.
- 11:50Speaker 14: We broke a proverbial sweat on it, whether it's mental
- 11:53Speaker 14: or physical or whatever.
- 11:53Speaker 15: We built it. We understand. We felt how we got it,
- 11:57Speaker 15: how we achieved it, how we got what we wanted.
- 12:01Speaker 15: Those stick with us.
- 12:01Speaker 14: Whether we forget them intellectually, they were written in our
- 12:04Speaker 14: lineage and they build resilience and they build confidence. A healthy,
- 12:09Speaker 14: true optimism going forward to know that, oh, no, I've
- 12:12Speaker 14: worked for something before and achieved it. Delayed gratification. Oh,
- 12:16Speaker 14: there are choices I can make today for myself that
- 12:19Speaker 14: will pay me back later in life. So there are
- 12:22Speaker 14: choices we make. If you're going to say right now,
- 12:25Speaker 14: I'm going to lie, cheat and steal to get what
- 12:26Speaker 14: I want.
- 12:26Speaker 15: And I got it.
- 12:28Speaker 14: I got an immediate green light for me. That's a
- 12:32Speaker 14: battery powered green light. That's not a solar powered green light.
- 12:35Speaker 11: Why?
- 12:37Speaker 14: Because now everywhere I go, I got to look over
- 12:41Speaker 14: my shoulder to see if someone's there that I lied, cheated,
- 12:45Speaker 14: stole from.
- 12:46Speaker 15: And when I'm doing that, I'm stealing whose time?
- 12:48Speaker 3: My time.
- 12:49Speaker 15: I'm not free. I don't have the freedom.
- 12:51Speaker 14: I didn't create freedom in my future because I chose
- 12:54Speaker 14: to make an irresponsible act that I left crumbs.
- 12:59Speaker 15: I've now got reasons to look over my shoulder. And
- 13:01Speaker 15: the more things we do to create in our future
- 13:04Speaker 15: that we've got to look over.
- 13:05Speaker 14: Our shoulder, the more of our most precious thing we
- 13:07Speaker 14: have in our lifetime that we're stealing from ourselves. So
- 13:11Speaker 14: it's not puritanical. It's just like it's actually self-serving. It's
- 13:15Speaker 14: a very selfish choice. And I'm a fan of the
- 13:19Speaker 14: word selfish. I've helped redefine it. But I believe that
- 13:23Speaker 14: there are selfish choices we can make that are the
- 13:25Speaker 14: most selfless, that there are selfless choices that we can
- 13:29Speaker 14: make that are the most selfish choices.
- 13:31Speaker 15: Those two are not a contradiction, and we see them
- 13:33Speaker 15: that way. Responsibility is appreciation of a past. It's building
- 13:37Speaker 15: of a lineage. It's investing in ourselves.
- 13:39Speaker 14: It's investing in something we started to build yesterday that
- 13:41Speaker 14: we want to take into tomorrow.
- 13:46Speaker 8: You only have to ask a stupid question once. You
- 13:48Speaker 8: ask a stupid question, and if you're in a crowd
- 13:51Speaker 8: and you ask a stupid question, 80% of the people
- 13:53Speaker 8: in the crowd have the same question. They're just too
- 13:55Speaker 8: cowardly to ask. But you ask, and then someone actually
- 13:58Speaker 8: tells you. You never have to ask that question again.
- 14:01Speaker 8: You're no longer stupid. What stupid thing am I doing
- 14:05Speaker 8: that I could quit doing? That I would quit doing?
- 14:09Speaker 8: Because those aren't the same thing, right? Because you know
- 14:11Speaker 8: there's stupid things that you're doing that you're just not
- 14:13Speaker 8: going to quit doing because you like them. But there
- 14:15Speaker 8: might be something on the edge there where you could
- 14:18Speaker 8: stop that. If you want to know something about yourself,
- 14:22Speaker 8: sit on your bed one night and say to yourself,
- 14:24Speaker 8: you've got to mean this, like.
- 14:25Speaker 5: You've got to be desperate. This is no game, this.
- 14:29Speaker 8: My life is not everything I want it to be.
- 14:32Speaker 8: And perhaps it's not everything that I need it to be.
- 14:35Speaker 8: And by need, I mean my life is so unbearable
- 14:38Speaker 8: that the suffering that's attendant upon that has made me nihilistic, cynical, bitter, resentful,
- 14:45Speaker 8: driving the proclivity to see evil everywhere except within my
- 14:48Speaker 8: own heart. Like, these are problems, man. And you ask yourself,
- 14:54Speaker 8: you sit on the bed and say, okay, man, I'm ready.
- 14:56Speaker 3: To learn something.
- 14:59Speaker 15: What's one thing I'm doing wrong?
- 15:01Speaker 8: That I know I'm doing wrong, that I could fix,
- 15:06Speaker 8: that I would fix. It's like, you meditate on that,
- 15:10Speaker 8: you'll get an answer. And it won't be one you want,
- 15:14Speaker 8: but it'll be the necessary one. You know, and it's
- 15:17Speaker 8: often something that will point you to small things.
- 15:21Speaker 5: Like that works.
- 15:22Speaker 8: You start making those micro improvements, like real micro improvements,
- 15:26Speaker 8: real on the ground, actual micro improvements to things you
- 15:29Speaker 8: know that are wrong. You'll improve unbelievably rapidly. The great
- 15:35Speaker 8: people I know are brutally truthful to themselves and other people.
- 15:39Speaker 8: And they have insanely adventurous lives. Get rid of everything
- 15:43Speaker 8: you say that you only say to impress other people.
- 15:45Speaker 8: And just see if you can say what you believe
- 15:47Speaker 8: to be true. That's an adventure. That's the thing about
- 15:50Speaker 8: the truth, you know. Well, you got to ask yourself,
- 15:53Speaker 8: if you're not speaking the truth, who is it that's talking?
- 15:57Speaker 8: If you're saying something that you do not believe to
- 15:59Speaker 8: be true, it's not you talking.
- 16:01Speaker 11: It's something else.
- 16:02Speaker 8: It might be the part of you that wants to
- 16:04Speaker 8: manipulate the other person into delivering what you think you
- 16:07Speaker 8: want from them. Well, what is that spirit of manipulation
- 16:10Speaker 8: that you've allowed.
- 16:11Speaker 5: To possess you? It's not you.
- 16:13Speaker 8: Let's say you decide to live your whole life in
- 16:16Speaker 8: that instrumental manner. You're going to craft your words like
- 16:18Speaker 8: the student who says, well, I'm going to write what
- 16:20Speaker 8: the professor wants to hear so I get the grade.
- 16:22Speaker 8: It's like, well, you just turn yourself into that. Well,
- 16:25Speaker 8: who is it that's doing that manipulating? It's not you,
- 16:28Speaker 8: because those aren't your words. So even if you get
- 16:31Speaker 8: the grade, it's not you that got the grade.
- 16:33Speaker 1: It's the false you.
- 16:34Speaker 8: It's the manipulative you. So you do that your whole life.
- 16:37Speaker 8: You don't have your life. And then you think, well, God,
- 16:40Speaker 8: that was a miserable life. I manipulated everybody. They were
- 16:43Speaker 8: so damn stupid. They were sucked in by it. They're
- 16:46Speaker 8: all contemptible. Everyone does it, you know, which they don't,
- 16:49Speaker 8: by the way. And so that's a pathway to bitterness.
- 16:52Speaker 8: Partly because if you're a manipulator and you use your
- 16:56Speaker 8: language falsely, you don't live your own life. You live
- 16:59Speaker 8: the life of whatever possesses you when you think it's
- 17:03Speaker 8: you manipulating. And so you live the life of the
- 17:06Speaker 8: spirit of manipulation.
- 17:13Speaker 12: First rule, the moment you start to slide, you're shoveling
- 17:17Speaker 12: against the tide.
- 17:19Speaker 5: What you need to do is what? Take a break.
- 17:22Speaker 12: Here's what's cool about it. You can study for a
- 17:25Speaker 12: half hour. It doesn't take a half hour break to
- 17:28Speaker 12: recharge your batteries. For most people, about five minutes.
- 17:33Speaker 16: We always dread sitting down to study for extended periods
- 17:36Speaker 16: of time. But what you may not realize is that
- 17:39Speaker 16: you are hindering yourself from studying effectively if you do this.
- 17:43Speaker 16: As Marty Lobdell explains in his lecture, things that are
- 17:46Speaker 16: reinforced we tend to do more of. things that are
- 17:49Speaker 16: punished or ignored, we tend to do less of. This
- 17:53Speaker 16: can transfer to how we study as well. If we
- 17:55Speaker 16: dread sitting down to study for five hours straight, we
- 17:58Speaker 16: aren't going to study nearly as well as if we
- 18:00Speaker 16: break up our study into smaller chunks of time. According
- 18:04Speaker 16: to London's Global University, five of the benefits of taking
- 18:08Speaker 16: study breaks include improved memory, reduced stress, improved health, and
- 18:13Speaker 16: boosts to your energy, as well as boosting your performance
- 18:16Speaker 16: and creativity. The main point to take away from this
- 18:19Speaker 16: is to make sure to break up your study time
- 18:22Speaker 16: from longer periods to shorter ones with scheduled breaks. As
- 18:26Speaker 16: a bonus, add on a well-deserved treat at the end
- 18:29Speaker 16: of the study time. It'll help motivate you to be
- 18:31Speaker 16: more productive during your allotted study time.
- 18:34Speaker 12: And this is where you go away, do something fun
- 18:38Speaker 12: for five minutes. Call a friend, talk to a child,
- 18:41Speaker 12: talk to a parent, a roommate. Enjoy some music. Do
- 18:44Speaker 12: something you enjoy and actually say, this is my treat.
- 18:47Speaker 12: for having studied for 30 minutes effectively. Go back, and
- 18:50Speaker 12: here's what happens. Your efficiency is nearly 100%.
- 18:56Speaker 5: Study a half hour.
- 18:57Speaker 12: Take a break.
- 18:58Speaker 5: Study a half hour.
- 18:59Speaker 12: Study a half hour.
- 19:03Speaker 5: I got three words for you. Shut it down. Log
- 19:09Speaker 5: out of the social media. Get off the internet, unplug.
- 19:13Speaker 2: And evaluate where you are and where you're supposed to be.
- 19:19Speaker 5: You got one life to live. The question is, why.
- 19:25Speaker 11: Are you here?
- 19:28Speaker 5: And what are you going to do about it?
- 19:31Speaker 2: Because the truth of the matter is, you have survived
- 19:35Speaker 2: the greatest traumas of your life.
- 19:38Speaker 5: Life has hit you. Life has knocked you to the ground.
- 19:42Speaker 2: There are people that have tried to bury you alive
- 19:45Speaker 2: and you survived.
- 19:48Speaker 5: So I need you to disperse. for 30 days. I
- 19:54Speaker 5: need you to disappear for just one month.
- 19:58Speaker 2: Don't worry about the prize. You worry about the process.
- 20:03Speaker 2: You don't decide when you're born. You don't decide when
- 20:06Speaker 2: you die. But you got a whole lot to do
- 20:09Speaker 2: with that in-between stuff.
- 20:10Speaker 5: Listen to me.
- 20:11Speaker 2: Whatever you put your heart to do, whatever you put
- 20:13Speaker 2: your mind to do, whatever it is that you want
- 20:15Speaker 2: to accomplish, I don't care if you don't have no support.
- 20:18Speaker 5: With me, you, alone, we can get this thing done, baby.
- 20:21Speaker 5: All right? Who am I talking to?
- 20:27Speaker 2: I'm talking to that person that's tired of where they are.
- 20:32Speaker 5: And you are bold enough. You are crazy enough.
- 20:35Speaker 2: You are courageous enough to shut it down for 30 days.
- 20:40Speaker 2: The window of opportunity and sometimes the window of life,
- 20:43Speaker 2: it closes quickly.
- 20:44Speaker 5: And so I need you to do me a huge favor, man.
- 20:46Speaker 3: I need you to get busy living.
- 20:50Speaker 2: The future is very expensive and it requires sacrifice now.
- 20:55Speaker 2: Can you depart from instant gratification and suffer now that
- 21:01Speaker 2: you live the rest of your life a champion?
- 21:07Speaker 5: All you need to get where you're going, you already
- 21:09Speaker 5: got it, right? You already have it. All I need
- 21:12Speaker 5: you to do is believe in yourself. Disappear for 30 days.
- 21:16Speaker 5: Come back and shock the world!
- 21:25Speaker 2: Can you identify What has kept you broken?
- 21:30Speaker 5: What has kept you broke? What has kept you defeated?
- 21:33Speaker 2: What has kept you covered under the blankets of anxiety
- 21:37Speaker 2: and stress and overwhelm?
- 21:40Speaker 5: But you're trying to make business moves with people that
- 21:42Speaker 5: don't think like you. They don't walk like you. They
- 21:45Speaker 5: don't sacrifice like you.
- 21:47Speaker 2: They're not willing to put in the blood, the sweat,
- 21:50Speaker 2: the tears behind closed doors.
- 21:52Speaker 5: A man is rewarded in public for what he does
- 21:56Speaker 5: in private. I need you to disappear for the next
- 22:00Speaker 5: 30 days. What does that look like?
- 22:03Speaker 2: 720 hours dedicated to the future. I need you to
- 22:08Speaker 2: disappear for 30 days. Just 30 days. Can you walk
- 22:13Speaker 2: away for 30 days? Can you silence the doubters for
- 22:16Speaker 2: 30 days? Can you tell everybody to be quiet for
- 22:20Speaker 2: 30 days so you can focus on you? Who you
- 22:23Speaker 2: are today has gotten you as far as you're going
- 22:27Speaker 2: to get.
- 22:28Speaker 5: If you're going to get any further, you've got to
- 22:30Speaker 5: reinvent yourself.
- 22:32Speaker 13: And if you're going to reinvent yourself, you've got to
- 22:34Speaker 13: sit it down for 30 days.
- 22:37Speaker 5: I need you to pursue it. I need you to
- 22:38Speaker 5: go get it, all right? I need you to go
- 22:40Speaker 5: get it. Don't wait for it to come to you,
- 22:42Speaker 5: all right? Greatness is not going to come knock on
- 22:44Speaker 5: your door. There's some opportunity that's not going to come
- 22:46Speaker 5: knock on your door. You've got to go get them.
- 22:50Speaker 6: Without even knowing you, if you're watching me, I already
- 22:52Speaker 6: know you got something.
- 22:53Speaker 5: Within that you wanted. I already know that.
- 22:56Speaker 6: Because I already know you can. But my question to
- 22:59Speaker 6: you young people this summer, will you? I already know
- 23:02Speaker 6: what you're capable of doing, but my question is, will
- 23:05Speaker 6: you reach your potential?
- 23:07Speaker 13: You've been too focused on who was not there for
- 23:09Speaker 13: you and who did not believe in you.
- 23:11Speaker 2: And the people that just said it but didn't do it.
- 23:14Speaker 2: You've been too focused on that. the trauma, the anxiety.
- 23:19Speaker 2: And I'm wondering if you can begin to shift that
- 23:21Speaker 2: focus in the next 30 days, if you can begin
- 23:23Speaker 2: to shift that focus on what's working in your life,
- 23:26Speaker 2: what's within your control and not what's outside of your control.
- 23:30Speaker 2: What can you control? Who can you influence?
- 23:33Speaker 5: The first person that needs to be influenced in your
- 23:35Speaker 5: life is you.
- 23:36Speaker 6: It's you.
- 23:40Speaker 5: You can't lead anybody.
- 23:41Speaker 2: You can't go anywhere unless you have awakened yourself on
- 23:45Speaker 2: the inside to follow a specific plan.
- 23:48Speaker 5: Write it out.
- 23:49Speaker 2: I need you to disappear for 30 days.
- 23:57Speaker 8: You know, what should happen when you go to university
- 23:59Speaker 8: is you should learn how to think and formulate arguments.
- 24:02Speaker 8: You should learn to think, speak, and write. That's what
- 24:05Speaker 8: the humanities are for. They're to make you dangerous, right?
- 24:09Speaker 8: Because if you can think and speak and write, you're deadly.
- 24:12Speaker 8: In a complex job, you're exactly what's necessary. There's nothing
- 24:16Speaker 8: you can possibly do to become more deadly than to...
- 24:20Speaker 8: improve your facility with language and the way you do
- 24:23Speaker 8: that is by reading especially great things and by writing
- 24:26Speaker 8: and by thinking and by speaking for that matter but
- 24:29Speaker 8: how how could that not be viewed as absolutely central
- 24:33Speaker 8: to what education is about you want to be inarticulate
- 24:36Speaker 8: and stumble over everything that you try to think and
- 24:39Speaker 8: communicate how are you going to get anywhere you don't
- 24:42Speaker 8: even know who you are under those circumstances you're this
- 24:45Speaker 8: massive feeling of that's expressing itself, you know, maybe in
- 24:48Speaker 8: violence because you can't find the words and you stumble
- 24:52Speaker 8: around and bump into things and you're clunky and dull
- 24:55Speaker 8: and you're not witty. You don't sparkle. So let's say
- 24:58Speaker 8: you take the example of a SEAL who's got it all,
- 25:01Speaker 8: but this literacy, what happens to him compared to someone
- 25:07Speaker 8: who has all those skills?
- 25:10Speaker 17: If he can't write well and he's in charge of
- 25:13Speaker 17: six guys and one of those guys is works hard
- 25:17Speaker 17: or does something that deserves to be recognized. This is
- 25:20Speaker 17: the responsibility of that leader to write that person an award.
- 25:24Speaker 6: Okay.
- 25:24Speaker 8: So he can't reward his, he can't reward his, his
- 25:27Speaker 8: good workers, his good soldiers.
- 25:29Speaker 17: He can give them a pat on the back, but
- 25:31Speaker 17: the pat on the back isn't going to get him promoted.
- 25:33Speaker 17: An award is actually worth some points towards your promotion.
- 25:37Speaker 17: And the people that are on that board that are
- 25:39Speaker 17: giving that reward are They're never going to meet that
- 25:42Speaker 17: leader and they're definitely not going to meet that guy.
- 25:45Speaker 17: There's no bias. It's based on this piece of paper
- 25:48Speaker 17: that you hand in. You hand in this piece of paper,
- 25:50Speaker 17: they read the piece of paper and they say, award
- 25:51Speaker 17: approved or award not approved. Or you want to do
- 25:54Speaker 17: a mission and you send that up the chain of command.
- 25:58Speaker 15: And it's the same thing.
- 25:59Speaker 17: It gets to a certain point where they're just looking
- 26:00Speaker 17: at it and reading and trying to decipher this pile
- 26:04Speaker 17: of junk.
- 26:04Speaker 5: That you put together.
- 26:06Speaker 17: And by the way, if I'm in charge and Jordan
- 26:08Speaker 17: sends me a concept of operations that doesn't make any sense,
- 26:13Speaker 17: why would I possibly let you go out and execute
- 26:15Speaker 17: an operation that I can't even understand what it is
- 26:18Speaker 17: you're trying to do?
- 26:19Speaker 8: Because what I observed in my own career, and it's
- 26:22Speaker 8: so interesting, the parallelism is so interesting, but not surprising,
- 26:26Speaker 8: is that nothing can stop you if you can write.
- 26:30Speaker 5: And it's for the reasons you just laid out.
- 26:32Speaker 8: It's like when you write, you make a case for something,
- 26:36Speaker 8: whatever it happens to be. And if you make the
- 26:39Speaker 8: best case, well, then you win and you get whatever
- 26:43Speaker 8: it is that you're aiming at. And so you're adventurous
- 26:47Speaker 8: and You want to make a mark? You bloody well
- 26:50Speaker 8: better learn how to write. Because if you learn how
- 26:53Speaker 8: to write, well, then you can think and you can
- 26:55Speaker 8: communicate your thoughts. So not only are you deadly strategically,
- 26:59Speaker 8: you become extremely convincing. And then you can go and
- 27:02Speaker 8: do anything you want and no one will stop you.
- 27:05Speaker 8: And that's never told to people. And I don't really
- 27:10Speaker 8: understand why. You know, you hear the pen is mightier
- 27:13Speaker 8: than the sword, which is just a cliche unless it's
- 27:16Speaker 8: fleshed out.
- 27:20Speaker 2: If all you want is success, you will not have it.
- 27:25Speaker 2: And so if all you want is the success, if
- 27:27Speaker 2: all you want is a trophy, but you don't want
- 27:30Speaker 2: a story, a process, if you don't want to be
- 27:33Speaker 2: made into something, then you've already missed it. You've already failed.
- 27:38Speaker 2: You've already tanked. And so once you get this, everything changes.
- 27:44Speaker 2: What have been the biggest obstacles in your life? What
- 27:47Speaker 2: has stopped you? What has hindered you? What has provoked
- 27:51Speaker 2: you to get lazy? When life pushed you down, when
- 27:55Speaker 2: everybody said you are not enough, when you told yourself.
- 27:59Speaker 5: I quit because I can't finish and you got back
- 28:03Speaker 5: up the next day and kept going.
- 28:05Speaker 2: Sacrifice is going to have to become your companion and
- 28:08Speaker 2: no longer your enemy. Too many of you think sacrifice
- 28:12Speaker 2: is your enemy. Sacrifice is a curse word. Sacrifice is bad.
- 28:16Speaker 2: I don't want to sacrifice.
- 28:18Speaker 5: Well, guess what?
- 28:20Speaker 2: You cannot have success without process, without sacrifice.
- 28:27Speaker 5: You cannot have it. Get up. Wake up. There's always
- 28:35Speaker 5: another level.
- 28:36Speaker 2: And it's not about beating the man or woman that's
- 28:40Speaker 2: standing in the room with you. It's about beating the
- 28:43Speaker 2: man and the woman that's in the mirror. Can you
- 28:46Speaker 2: do better than you? Can you do better than you
- 28:50Speaker 2: did yesterday? That's all I want to ask you. Can
- 28:52Speaker 2: you do better? This is the day, come on, say
- 28:55Speaker 2: this with me. This is the day I learn like
- 28:59Speaker 2: I never have. This is the day I invest like
- 29:03Speaker 2: I never have. This is the day I take it seriously.
- 29:06Speaker 2: I got one window. I may not be here tomorrow.
- 29:10Speaker 2: I see all things working for good. I see you
- 29:13Speaker 2: stepping into everything that God has called you to do.
- 29:16Speaker 2: I see you stepping into purpose and stepping into the
- 29:19Speaker 2: plans that God already has laid out for you.
- 29:21Speaker 5: This is your day. Get up and conquer your day.
- 29:26Speaker 13: I'm just wondering what are you going to do in
- 29:27Speaker 13: this next 24 hours that you did not do? I'm
- 29:30Speaker 13: just wondering if you're going to level up two millimeters
- 29:32Speaker 13: more than you did yesterday.
- 29:34Speaker 2: Are you going to get better? Are you going to
- 29:36Speaker 2: get stronger? Are you going to get wiser? Are you
- 29:39Speaker 2: going to pray differently? Are you going to see this
- 29:41Speaker 2: thing differently?
- 29:42Speaker 13: I'm just wondering when are you going to see the
- 29:45Speaker 13: power of 24 hours? I'm just wondering when are you
- 29:50Speaker 13: going to seize the opportunities? You can have journals full
- 29:54Speaker 13: of dreams. You can have vision boards from your front
- 29:58Speaker 13: door to your bathroom. But if you don't count up
- 30:00Speaker 13: the cost of what it's going to take and if
- 30:02Speaker 13: you are not willing to pay that price, you cannot
- 30:06Speaker 13: have your future.
- 30:08Speaker 5: I want you to get this mentality in your head.
- 30:11Speaker 5: Every day you pay. You pay. Forget waking up at
- 30:16Speaker 5: 2 o'clock in the morning.
- 30:17Speaker 2: You may have to lose sleep for a week. You
- 30:21Speaker 2: may get two hours of sleep in seven days so
- 30:24Speaker 2: that you can accomplish what it is that you've been
- 30:27Speaker 2: destined to accomplish. What you were born to contribute to humanity.
- 30:34Speaker 2: And so I know it hurts and I know it's expensive.
- 30:38Speaker 2: Everything you need to get to this next level is
- 30:41Speaker 2: inside of you. There's always another level to stand up.
- 30:46Speaker 5: I'm just wondering if you're going to rise and see
- 30:49Speaker 5: the opportunity. Rise. Rise above what they said. Rise above
- 30:54Speaker 5: what happened. Get up. Get up.
- 30:58Speaker 3: Get up.
- 30:59Speaker 5: You've got a day to conquer. I know you don't
- 31:04Speaker 5: feel up to the task.
- 31:07Speaker 2: I know you've got some doubt and you've got some
- 31:09Speaker 2: fear and you've got some uncertainty and you hate the
- 31:13Speaker 2: image that you see in the mirror and you hate
- 31:16Speaker 2: the way your money looks and your relationships look and
- 31:20Speaker 2: people that you've given your all to keep walking out
- 31:23Speaker 2: on you.
- 31:24Speaker 5: I know you feel stuck in reverse. I know you
- 31:27Speaker 5: feel like you're underpaid and undervalued and overlooked.
- 31:31Speaker 2: But listen, get up This is the day that everything changes.
- 31:37Speaker 5: Get up.
- 31:39Speaker 2: Rajaguar. Get up and get after it. Get up and
- 31:44Speaker 2: get after it. You are here by design. You are
- 31:47Speaker 2: listening to this talk by design. Get up and beat
- 31:51Speaker 2: yourself from yesterday.
- 31:53Speaker 5: I don't have time to walk in unforgiveness. I'm focused.
- 31:57Speaker 13: I don't have time to think about who doesn't like me,
- 32:01Speaker 13: who doesn't agree with me.
- 32:02Speaker 5: I'm too focused. Get focused. Get focused. And you got
- 32:07Speaker 5: two options. You can give up or get up.
- 32:10Speaker 18: Up the measure of of trauma and misery it doesn't
- 32:17Speaker 18: matter if you are alive you have another opportunity to
- 32:22Speaker 18: begin again and every day every single day gives you
- 32:28Speaker 18: that new opportunity so if you don't have a to-do
- 32:31Speaker 18: list get a to-do list if you haven't planned the
- 32:34Speaker 18: day start planning your day the night before if you
- 32:37Speaker 18: don't have a morning routine Get.
- 32:39Speaker 19: A morning routine. Start your morning with prayer and meditation.
- 32:43Speaker 19: If you're not tracking your progress, start tracking your progress.
- 32:46Speaker 19: If you don't have accountability partners, you need to get
- 32:49Speaker 19: accountability partners. If you have not identified the roadblocks, if
- 32:53Speaker 19: you have not identified the kryptonite, if you have not
- 32:56Speaker 19: identified the hurdles, what has hindered your forward progress, identify
- 33:01Speaker 19: those things.
- 33:02Speaker 5: Get up and get after it.
- 33:08Speaker 7: People that are hungry are willing to do the things
- 33:11Speaker 7: today others won't do in order to have the things
- 33:14Speaker 7: tomorrow others won't have.
- 33:18Speaker 6: I need you to ask yourself a serious question. How
- 33:23Speaker 6: bad do you want it?
- 33:26Speaker 18: And every day, every single day gives you that new opportunity.
- 33:31Speaker 18: Get up and get after it.
- 33:34Speaker 2: Every day, every single day is a new beginning. So
- 33:37Speaker 2: take a deep breath, inhale, exhale. It's a new day,
- 33:44Speaker 2: a new opportunity.
- 33:46Speaker 6: There is no passion to be found in settling for
- 33:48Speaker 6: a life that is less than.
- 33:50Speaker 3: The one that you are capable of living. Rise and grind.
- 33:57Speaker 16: No one is going to create the future that you
- 33:59Speaker 16: want for you.
- 34:01Speaker 2: Just needs you to be 1% better than you were yesterday.
- 34:04Speaker 2: If you can be 1% better than you were yesterday,
- 34:07Speaker 2: You're making progress.
- 34:09Speaker 5: You're not putting forth 120%. You're not all in.
- 34:13Speaker 6: If you get to that point where you do exactly
- 34:15Speaker 6: what you say you're.
- 34:16Speaker 5: Going to do, you're going to get to the next level.
- 34:18Speaker 5: All right, so let's get started. Let's get started. Let's
- 34:20Speaker 5: get started.
- 34:22Speaker 3: See, people who.
- 34:22Speaker 9: Have something to look forward to don't need an alarm clock.
- 34:25Speaker 5: At the end of the.
- 34:26Speaker 2: Day, you can listen to a million motivational speeches, but
- 34:31Speaker 2: you are going to have to wake up and make
- 34:33Speaker 2: a decision to get it done.
- 34:36Speaker 10: It is not life that's holding you back. You just
- 34:40Speaker 10: gotta be a little bit tougher than your circumstances. There
- 34:44Speaker 10: are gonna be times that you're gonna wanna give.
- 34:46Speaker 5: Up, but you don't have the permission to do so.
- 34:51Speaker 2: Those 15 minutes are not worth the rest of your life.
- 34:55Speaker 2: Those 15 minutes are not worth you slipping.
- 34:58Speaker 5: Down the chart. That is not worth it.
- 35:02Speaker 2: You're focused on the risk more than you are the reward.
- 35:07Speaker 2: You're focused on the pain of the process more than
- 35:11Speaker 2: you are the glory on the other side. Everybody wants
- 35:15Speaker 2: to have to be and do what they.
- 35:17Speaker 6: Feel they've been called to do. The challenge becomes that
- 35:22Speaker 6: most of us, when it's time to do what beasts do.
- 35:26Speaker 5: We don't do it.
- 35:29Speaker 9: And I'm asking you, what do you see in the
- 35:31Speaker 9: future for you?
- 35:33Speaker 3: What brought you here today? What caused you to get up?
- 35:42Speaker 1: You see, how you do anything is how you do everything.
- 35:48Speaker 1: And the fact is, it all comes down to one thing.
- 35:53Speaker 1: That one thing is choice. And what's the easiest choice
- 35:59Speaker 1: to make? Well, the easiest choice to make is to
- 36:04Speaker 1: choose what you've chosen before. If you always do what
- 36:08Speaker 1: you've always done, then you'll always get what you've always got.
- 36:14Speaker 1: Ultimately your attention is your superpower. Your attention to focus
- 36:20Speaker 1: on now what needs to be done. And this is
- 36:24Speaker 1: the difference between success and failure. If life was a
- 36:30Speaker 1: garden then what sort of state is the garden of
- 36:34Speaker 1: your life in? Because the natural state of the garden
- 36:38Speaker 1: is decay. And if you don't look after the garden
- 36:43Speaker 1: then You know what happens, right? It gets out of control.
- 36:47Speaker 1: You have weeds and then there can be a lot
- 36:49Speaker 1: of work to do. The best time to plant a
- 36:53Speaker 1: tree was 20 years ago. The second best time is now,
- 36:59Speaker 1: but I would say it's not now, it's right now.
- 37:05Speaker 1: It's really all about just playing the game, playing the
- 37:09Speaker 1: game of life and making progress together. And maybe now
- 37:14Speaker 1: it's time to wake up and realize the ultimate choice.
- 37:21Speaker 1: The choice of who are you listening to? And I
- 37:26Speaker 1: don't mean my voice. I mean the voices in your head.
- 37:31Speaker 1: And I actually said the voices. Because maybe there's more
- 37:35Speaker 1: than one. When you woke up this morning, these voices started.
- 37:41Speaker 1: Did you hear that voice that said, stay here.
- 37:45Speaker 5: It's lovely.
- 37:46Speaker 1: It's warm. It's comfortable.
- 37:49Speaker 5: Or did you hear that other voice that said, hey,
- 37:52Speaker 5: come on.
- 37:53Speaker 3: Let's get up. Let's go.
- 37:56Speaker 1: Which one are you listening to? It's the same challenge
- 38:01Speaker 1: for most of us. It's who we're listening to. And
- 38:06Speaker 1: I'd like to introduce you to someone. It's the voice
- 38:10Speaker 1: of of your future self. And you could think of
- 38:13Speaker 1: me like a lawyer who's come from your future self
- 38:17Speaker 1: to say, hey, your future self is talking to you.
- 38:21Speaker 1: It's just maybe you haven't really been paying attention. Most
- 38:28Speaker 1: people today are actually living a future they don't want.
- 38:33Speaker 1: It's called a default future. And what's the hardest thing
- 38:39Speaker 1: to do? To create a new future, it's to build
- 38:44Speaker 1: a compelling relationship to your future self and just get started.
- 38:53Speaker 1: But I know sometimes with the things we've got to do,
- 38:56Speaker 1: they might seem really big. So just doing it might
- 38:59Speaker 1: seem like, well, there's just too much to do. But
- 39:03Speaker 1: the real key is to just get started. Because our
- 39:09Speaker 1: brain will always favor what is easier. Our brains tend
- 39:13Speaker 1: to focus on taking the easy path. Anything that grows
- 39:19Speaker 1: comes up against resistance. So the resistance that we have
- 39:24Speaker 1: to start work, the resistance that we have to start
- 39:27Speaker 1: engaging in activities that will create the futures that we want,
- 39:33Speaker 1: always require us to move through resistance. And right now,
- 39:39Speaker 1: I'd like you to imagine that you go on a
- 39:42Speaker 1: journey and in the distance, in the horizon, you see
- 39:46Speaker 1: someone and you think, that person looks familiar to me.
- 39:52Speaker 1: And as you walk closer to that person, you realize,
- 39:55Speaker 1: hang on, hang on a second, that's me.
- 40:00Speaker 3: It is you, but it's you in the future.
- 40:05Speaker 1: And as you get closer to your future self, imagine
- 40:08Speaker 1: that that future self opens his arms up and gives
- 40:11Speaker 1: you a really big hug. And you realize the possibilities
- 40:17Speaker 1: that exist for you To become your future self. Is
- 40:23Speaker 1: today the day where you get distracted? Or is this
- 40:27Speaker 1: the day you just get started?
- 40:38Speaker 6: Stop being afraid to go to college because your daddy
- 40:40Speaker 6: didn't go and your mama didn't go. Stop being afraid
- 40:43Speaker 6: and be the best Eric Thomas you can be. But
- 40:45Speaker 6: listen to me, it's going to be hard. It took
- 40:47Speaker 6: me 12 years to get a four-year degree, but.
- 40:49Speaker 5: I got it. And guess what? On a degree, it
- 40:51Speaker 5: don't have dates.
- 40:52Speaker 6: So if it took you four and it took me 12,
- 40:54Speaker 6: it don't show up nowhere. I need you to study
- 40:59Speaker 6: like you've never studied before. I need you up all
- 41:01Speaker 6: night long. Studying getting about three four hours here hour
- 41:05Speaker 6: and a half here two hours here You hear me
- 41:07Speaker 6: say this all the time, but some of you this
- 41:09Speaker 6: is it? And even you say Eric look man, you
- 41:12Speaker 6: understand if I put everything and I'm still gonna get
- 41:15Speaker 6: a 1.0 I'm telling you to do it anyway Because
- 41:18Speaker 6: you know, I told up flunk English three times like
- 41:21Speaker 6: when I was in college right flunky the first time
- 41:24Speaker 6: And I quit when they told me I couldn't pass
- 41:26Speaker 6: the second time. She told me you're gonna flunk I
- 41:27Speaker 6: stayed in there anyway And guess what? As stupid as
- 41:30Speaker 6: this might sound, even though you flunk, you learn a
- 41:33Speaker 6: new concept, right? So that's one or two less.
- 41:36Speaker 5: Concepts I got to learn the next year, right?
- 41:40Speaker 6: And finally, that third time, I clapped it, which means
- 41:42Speaker 6: you just take a test. And I took the test
- 41:44Speaker 6: and I passed it.
- 41:46Speaker 3: You don't get it.
- 41:47Speaker 6: You have to give everything you got to get what
- 41:50Speaker 6: you want. You have to give everything you don't even
- 41:53Speaker 6: realize you have to get where you're trying to go.
- 41:57Speaker 6: Don't you get it? When you do what they want,
- 42:01Speaker 6: you will have what they don't. When you do what
- 42:03Speaker 6: they refuse, they won't have the options that you get
- 42:06Speaker 6: to choose. Because those are reserved for those who choose
- 42:10Speaker 6: to move when others choose to stand still. Those are
- 42:14Speaker 6: reserved for those that choose to get up when so
- 42:17Speaker 6: many others couldn't find the strength to lift up and
- 42:20Speaker 6: give more.
- 42:22Speaker 5: And when you get to the point where all you want.
- 42:25Speaker 6: To do is be successful as bad as you want
- 42:27Speaker 6: to breathe, then you'll be successful. And I'm here to
- 42:30Speaker 6: tell you, number one, that most of you say you
- 42:32Speaker 6: want to be successful, but you don't want it bad.
- 42:35Speaker 6: You just kind of want it. You don't want it
- 42:37Speaker 6: bad and then you want to party. You don't want
- 42:39Speaker 6: it as much as you want to be cool. Most
- 42:42Speaker 6: of you don't want success as much as.
- 42:43Speaker 5: You want to sleep.
- 42:45Speaker 6: Some of you, you can make sacrifices when Monday Night
- 42:48Speaker 6: Football is not on.
- 42:49Speaker 2: You can make a sacrifice. But when the game come on,
- 42:51Speaker 2: for some reason, you just attach to it. You can
- 42:54Speaker 2: make sacrifices on Sunday when ain't nothing going on. But
- 42:58Speaker 2: when your favorite show comes on Monday, bam, some of you,
- 43:00Speaker 2: you focus into the phone ring and then you like,
- 43:02Speaker 2: I gotta answer it. If I don't answer the phone,
- 43:04Speaker 2: I'm gonna die.
- 43:07Speaker 6: I'm saying to you today that there are some of you,
- 43:09Speaker 6: if you give up your cell phone, you would be successful.
- 43:12Speaker 5: But your cell phone is more important.
- 43:14Speaker 6: To you than your success. You have to give it
- 43:18Speaker 6: everything you got.
- 43:19Speaker 5: No more TV, no more parties, no more playing. If
- 43:22Speaker 5: you have a 4.0, what you need to be doing
- 43:24Speaker 5: is studying. Get off the phone. I'm sorry, I'm not
- 43:28Speaker 5: available until the end.
- 43:28Speaker 7: Of this year.
- 43:32Speaker 5: No, I'm for real.
- 43:33Speaker 2: You've reached the right number, but you called me at
- 43:35Speaker 2: the wrong time. Call me back January 1st. I'm about
- 43:41Speaker 2: to get busy now. Every time you.
- 43:48Speaker 6: Ever got in trouble, somebody in your house got you
- 43:50Speaker 6: out of it. Every time you've done something you're not
- 43:54Speaker 6: supposed to do. People say, Eric, your mother's a tyrant.
- 43:56Speaker 5: You're right. She kicked me out. You're right. She's mean,
- 43:59Speaker 5: but she.
- 44:00Speaker 6: Developed a man because she put me out there and said,
- 44:02Speaker 6: you're going to have to grow up. And some of
- 44:04Speaker 6: you have never learned to grow up. And so every
- 44:07Speaker 6: time something get hard, you quit.
- 44:08Speaker 5: You call mama. I dare you to take a little pain.
- 44:13Speaker 5: I dare you. I dare you not to go home.
- 44:16Speaker 5: Somebody said, I don't go home, I feel bad. Go
- 44:19Speaker 5: through it. You ain't going to die at the end
- 44:23Speaker 5: of pain and success. You're not going to die because
- 44:26Speaker 5: you're feeling a little pain.
- 44:29Speaker 6: So let this be the time that you lift yourself
- 44:32Speaker 6: back up.
- 44:33Speaker 3: You did it over and over again. Why stop now?
- 44:37Speaker 5: You're too close.
- 44:39Speaker 6: Success is right around the corner. And even if it
- 44:42Speaker 6: takes a little bit longer to get there, it's okay.
- 44:46Speaker 5: It's coming.
- 44:47Speaker 6: I gotta commit my very being to this thing. I
- 44:50Speaker 6: gotta breathe it, I gotta eat it, I gotta sleep it.
- 44:53Speaker 6: And until you get there, you'll never be successful in life.
- 44:56Speaker 6: But once you get there, I guarantee you, the world
- 44:59Speaker 6: is yours. You already know sometimes you got to disappear
- 45:02Speaker 6: for three months. Sometimes you got to disappear for six months.
- 45:05Speaker 6: Sometimes you got to disappear for nine months. Sometimes you
- 45:07Speaker 6: got to disappear for a whole year, two years, and
- 45:09Speaker 6: then emerge.
- 45:11Speaker 3: The new you.
- 45:12Speaker 6: The new and improved you. On an entirely different level. See,
- 45:18Speaker 6: your dream is like a muscle. And sometimes you got
- 45:21Speaker 6: to let that muscle get broke down.
- 45:24Speaker 5: The greats?
- 45:26Speaker 6: They don't even start counting the reps until it hurts
- 45:29Speaker 6: because they understand that pain is what's going to lead
- 45:33Speaker 6: to that future gain.
- 45:35Speaker 3: So from this day forward, excuses are for the weak.
- 45:38Speaker 6: So starting right now, not tomorrow, not next week, I
- 45:41Speaker 6: need you to vow to keep going.
- 45:44Speaker 5: It's when you have nothing left. It's when you depleted
- 45:47Speaker 5: all your money.
- 45:47Speaker 2: When all your energy gone.
- 45:49Speaker 5: When you have nothing left. That's when it's show time.
- 45:53Speaker 6: When you want this thing as bad as you want
- 45:55Speaker 6: to breathe.
- 45:56Speaker 5: That's when you find a way. Listen to me very closely.
- 46:04Speaker 5: You got to change that mindset.
- 46:12Speaker 1: Every single thing that you do, you are casting a
- 46:17Speaker 1: vote for your future self. So don't wait to feel pain.
- 46:21Speaker 1: Don't wait to get yourself in a place where you're
- 46:25Speaker 1: desperate to take action. Because to really win, it's not
- 46:28Speaker 1: a destination. To win is that constant striving and struggling
- 46:35Speaker 1: for you to become your future self.
- 46:41Speaker 3: Do something today.
- 46:43Speaker 6: That your future self will fall madly in love with
- 46:46Speaker 6: you for.
- 46:48Speaker 2: Sometimes you need to go find a mirror and tell
- 46:50Speaker 2: yourself with tears in your eyes.
- 46:52Speaker 5: I am the problem. Once we stop accusing everybody else
- 47:00Speaker 5: for our inconsistency and our lack of execution.
- 47:03Speaker 2: All of a sudden the world opens up. Drop the frustration.
- 47:09Speaker 2: Once you discover your why. I want you to spend
- 47:12Speaker 2: the rest of your life, take your time, your talent
- 47:16Speaker 2: and execute. Many influencers and speakers will give you a
- 47:19Speaker 2: grocery list of things you need to buy into in
- 47:22Speaker 2: order to be successful.
- 47:22Speaker 5: I'm going to give you three things.
- 47:24Speaker 2: If you can just get these three things, then I
- 47:27Speaker 2: wholeheartedly believe that the infection, the disease, the dysfunction of
- 47:32Speaker 2: inconsistency will be literally eradicated out of your life.
- 47:37Speaker 5: What's your why? You're going to need discipline to do
- 47:40Speaker 5: what you do. and you're going to need perspective.
- 47:43Speaker 6: You might get tested today, but you were born with
- 47:47Speaker 6: mental toughness to fight through.
- 47:49Speaker 3: There is absolutely and.
- 47:51Speaker 6: Never has been any give up in you. So a
- 47:55Speaker 6: champion like you, you're going to do what you got
- 47:58Speaker 6: to do to make sure the day comes that you
- 48:01Speaker 6: rewrite the history of.
- 48:03Speaker 3: Your family, that you leave a legacy.
- 48:06Speaker 6: Either you do what you should be doing right now
- 48:09Speaker 6: so you can live like you want to be living
- 48:10Speaker 6: in the future.
- 48:12Speaker 5: Or you don't do what you should be doing right now.
- 48:15Speaker 6: And I guarantee you, your future self will hate you
- 48:19Speaker 6: for it.
- 48:21Speaker 1: Is it possible that the greatest thing you ever do
- 48:24Speaker 1: in your life will be.
- 48:27Speaker 5: The person that you become?
- 48:30Speaker 1: That every single day you have the opportunity with all
- 48:34Speaker 1: of the decisions that you make to create a future
- 48:38Speaker 1: self that is better than you. that is more courageous
- 48:41Speaker 1: than you, that is someone that has achieved all of
- 48:45Speaker 1: their goals and dreams and ambitions.
- 48:49Speaker 2: It's time to get out of the way. It is
- 48:54Speaker 2: because of you that you are not where you want
- 48:56Speaker 2: to be.
- 48:56Speaker 5: You are the issue. It's you. Your issue is you.
- 49:01Speaker 13: Every year we go through the same cycle. I'm going
- 49:05Speaker 13: to eat better. I'm going to exercise. I'm going to
- 49:08Speaker 13: cut off all negative people. I'm going to be optimistic.
- 49:12Speaker 13: Come on, we say all these things. Two weeks later,
- 49:15Speaker 13: everything hits the fan. If you study history.
- 49:20Speaker 2: you will find that the men and women that turned
- 49:23Speaker 2: the world upside down were the ones who got out
- 49:27Speaker 2: of their own way. Your insecurity has been in the
- 49:30Speaker 2: way too long. Your jealousy, your envy has been in
- 49:34Speaker 2: the way too long. The fear you've been wrestling with
- 49:37Speaker 2: has been in the way too long.
- 49:38Speaker 5: Get out of the way.
- 49:41Speaker 6: I need you to do something today that your future
- 49:45Speaker 6: self will thank you for. Don't you get it? Get
- 49:49Speaker 6: busy living. Get busy giving. All of you, give the
- 49:54Speaker 6: best of you. Not for you right now, but for
- 49:56Speaker 6: the you in the future.
- 49:58Speaker 2: Please, please do yourself a favor and dispense with the
- 50:02Speaker 2: excuses that you don't have time. Dispense with the excuse
- 50:06Speaker 2: that you're not good enough. Dispense with the excuse that
- 50:10Speaker 2: nobody will show up if I build it. That too
- 50:12Speaker 2: many people are better than me. Drop out of the,
- 50:14Speaker 2: I tried it last year and it didn't work. No,
- 50:17Speaker 2: you didn't work.
- 50:19Speaker 5: I get it. I get it.
- 50:21Speaker 13: If we pull up your history, we'll find a lot
- 50:23Speaker 13: of brokenness. We'll find a lot of trauma. We'll find
- 50:26Speaker 13: a lot of empty places. If we pull up your history,
- 50:29Speaker 13: we'll find a lot of failures.
- 50:30Speaker 2: This must be the year that you are not defined
- 50:34Speaker 2: by your history, but you fulfill your destiny.
- 50:39Speaker 5: Why are you here? What were you placed here to do?
- 50:44Speaker 5: Get to work.
- 50:50Speaker 10: This is the time that you must recognize that you
- 50:53Speaker 10: have something that is special. And it is time for
- 50:59Speaker 10: you to show up and give it everything you have
- 51:03Speaker 10: within yourself.
- 51:06Speaker 5: You can do all great.
- 51:07Speaker 10: Things within yourself if you just have the faith. You
- 51:13Speaker 10: got to be the one to prove them wrong and
- 51:17Speaker 10: let the world know that you do matter in this society,
- 51:20Speaker 10: that you have something great within you, that you have power,
- 51:25Speaker 10: that you have will, that you have strength.
- 51:29Speaker 5: Don't accept defeat. Don't accept excuses.
- 51:36Speaker 10: Don't accept the fact that you think that you don't
- 51:39Speaker 10: have what it takes when you know deep inside.
- 51:42Speaker 5: Yourself you have it.
- 51:45Speaker 6: They didn't realize that every setback of your life, they
- 51:48Speaker 6: didn't realize that every bad.
- 51:50Speaker 3: Day of your life, they didn't realize that.
- 51:52Speaker 6: Every sad day of your life, they didn't realize that
- 51:55Speaker 6: every so-called failure, disaster, missed opportunity, a tragedy was just
- 52:00Speaker 6: a building block of strategy and the agony, the pain,
- 52:03Speaker 6: the heartache, the misery was put in place to give
- 52:06Speaker 6: you the strength to rewrite history. Therefore, it should be
- 52:09Speaker 6: no mystery when you make a special delivery to the
- 52:12Speaker 6: doorsteps of victory.
- 52:16Speaker 10: When the rest of the world shuts you down, you
- 52:18Speaker 10: got to be willing to open up your mind and
- 52:20Speaker 10: your heart and accept the fact if you're going to
- 52:24Speaker 10: do it, then you.
- 52:24Speaker 5: Got to be the one to do it. You got
- 52:26Speaker 5: to be the one to believe in it.
- 52:30Speaker 10: You must understand that we all have.
- 52:33Speaker 5: Unique qualities within us.
- 52:38Speaker 10: But we have to apply ourselves day in and day out.
- 52:44Speaker 3: Yes, there are.
- 52:45Speaker 10: People out there right now that doubt you. And no
- 52:48Speaker 10: matter how hard you work at.
- 52:50Speaker 5: Your craft, they will still find some.
- 52:55Speaker 10: Fault in you. But when will you begin to realize
- 53:01Speaker 10: that all of the hard work, all of the struggles,
- 53:08Speaker 10: all of the mistakes, all of.
- 53:11Speaker 5: The setbacks, are just a part of your growth. Maybe
- 53:17Speaker 5: everybody is not going to accept you. But can you
- 53:21Speaker 5: accept yourself? Can you trust in yourself? Maybe you're going
- 53:28Speaker 5: to be the only one left standing. But at least
- 53:32Speaker 5: you're standing. And maybe you feel that you're standing alone.
- 53:38Speaker 5: But you're really not alone. Because you got so many ideas.
- 53:44Speaker 10: So much greatness within you right now that is flowing
- 53:47Speaker 10: through you right now.
- 53:50Speaker 5: So how can you believe that you are alone?
- 53:53Speaker 10: How can you believe that all of these things that
- 53:56Speaker 10: people have doubted you on, everybody that's been saying that
- 53:59Speaker 10: you're not going to make it, that you can't push forward,
- 54:02Speaker 10: that you're not going to be the best, and you
- 54:06Speaker 10: trusted them, and you believed in them, you believed in
- 54:11Speaker 10: the answers that they had for you, Instead of.
- 54:14Speaker 5: Answering your own question, am I good enough? Can I
- 54:21Speaker 5: be the best of myself?
- 54:24Speaker 10: The time has come for you to understand that you
- 54:28Speaker 10: cannot depend on the opinions of others. You cannot just
- 54:34Speaker 10: trust in the opinions of others. You cannot allow other
- 54:38Speaker 10: people to validate you.
- 54:40Speaker 1: Because you Are just who you are.
- 54:47Speaker 10: Nobody is going to be like you. Nobody can be
- 54:51Speaker 10: as strong as you. Nobody can walk the walk like you.
- 54:57Speaker 10: That's what makes you different. That's what makes you unique.
- 55:02Speaker 10: So prove them wrong. But prove yourself to be right.
- 55:08Speaker 3: For so long.
- 55:10Speaker 6: You've known you had an inner beast inside. but you
- 55:13Speaker 6: were scared to bother it. For so long, you've known
- 55:17Speaker 6: you had an inner beast inside, but you were scared
- 55:21Speaker 6: to bother it. That's just like planting a seed and
- 55:25Speaker 6: then never watering it. Never making sure it's provided with
- 55:29Speaker 6: exposure to sunlight, basically just squandering it. But that version
- 55:34Speaker 6: of you no longer exists because from the depths of
- 55:37Speaker 6: your inner soul comes your inner beast and you are
- 55:41Speaker 6: now honoring it. That seed that was planted in your
- 55:45Speaker 6: soul has been patiently waiting. That seed that was planted
- 55:50Speaker 6: in your heart has been laying low for the perfect time.
- 55:54Speaker 6: That seed that was planted in your spirit has been
- 55:57Speaker 6: storing energy. That seed that was planted in your middle
- 56:01Speaker 6: has been digesting and processing. And when all of these forces.
- 56:05Speaker 3: Came together, they created the perfect.
- 56:07Speaker 6: Storm that set the stage for your inner beast to
- 56:09Speaker 6: be born. That set the stage for your inner beast
- 56:12Speaker 6: to take form.
- 56:13Speaker 3: That set the stage for your inner beast to transform.
- 56:16Speaker 6: That set the stage for your inner beast to break.
- 56:18Speaker 3: Through and swarm like a large group of bees.
- 56:21Speaker 6: And now you're ready to sting anyone that stands between
- 56:24Speaker 6: you and the stamp of greatness needed to make your
- 56:27Speaker 6: successful transformation official.
- 56:31Speaker 5: It must happen.
- 56:32Speaker 10: This way because this is the only way you're going
- 56:35Speaker 10: to know what you must do to get better at
- 56:38Speaker 10: whatever it is.
- 56:39Speaker 5: That you are seeking in your life. No one said
- 56:43Speaker 5: it was going to be easy.
- 56:46Speaker 10: In fact, nobody's really going to hold your hand.
- 56:51Speaker 5: But you got to have the ability to hold yourself up.
- 56:59Speaker 4: Don't put your future into someone else's hands.
- 57:03Speaker 5: You're not going to feel the process all the time.
- 57:06Speaker 5: You're not going to see it.
- 57:08Speaker 2: Some days you're not going to want to write about it.
- 57:09Speaker 2: You're not going to want to talk about it. You're
- 57:11Speaker 2: not going to want to think about it. You're going
- 57:12Speaker 2: to have migraines thinking about the sacrifices that are required
- 57:16Speaker 2: to get to this next level.
- 57:18Speaker 5: But just don't stop.
- 57:20Speaker 6: What if today was the day that success had your
- 57:26Speaker 6: name written on it?
- 57:28Speaker 3: Procrastination is the thief of destination.
- 57:35Speaker 4: Today, I want to remind you that you are not average.
- 57:40Speaker 4: I want to remind you that you have what it takes.
- 57:46Speaker 4: All you have right now is today. So give it
- 57:52Speaker 4: your all.
- 57:54Speaker 5: You've got this.
- 57:57Speaker 3: You miss the energy. There are no more tomorrows.
- 58:03Speaker 6: And you have to live like today is the last
- 58:05Speaker 6: day that you have a chance.
- 58:06Speaker 3: To achieve the things that you want to achieve. Today,
- 58:11Speaker 3: not tomorrow.
- 58:12Speaker 6: Stop looking back at what happened yesterday.
- 58:14Speaker 3: Don't let that deter you.
- 58:16Speaker 6: No fear, no doubt, no reservation.
- 58:19Speaker 3: See, success is reserved for you. So what's your hesitation?
- 58:22Speaker 4: So if you've been doubting yourself, Stop. If you've been
- 58:29Speaker 4: doubting your abilities, stop. If you've been putting yourself down, stop.
- 58:37Speaker 4: Because doubt is the enemy of progress.
- 58:43Speaker 2: You can get to a place in your life where
- 58:45Speaker 2: you are so tired.
- 58:46Speaker 5: That you can hardly move. They said if you look up,
- 58:52Speaker 5: you can get up. And you can be so fragmented
- 58:57Speaker 5: So beat up that you can't even open your eyes.
- 59:01Speaker 2: And so every opportunity that comes, every person that comes,
- 59:06Speaker 2: every wind of change that blows.
- 59:11Speaker 5: Your response is I do.
- 59:14Speaker 2: It tomorrow when I do it tomorrow I can wait
- 59:16Speaker 2: it can wait and that's because we've lost the urgency.
- 59:23Speaker 3: See tomorrow was promised to no one but you already
- 59:27Speaker 3: knew that This is your life. I need you to
- 59:31Speaker 3: own it. It's got to start right now, this very moment.
- 59:37Speaker 4: You've got to be willing to put in the work
- 59:39Speaker 4: when you feel like it. And you've got to be
- 59:42Speaker 4: willing to put in the work when you don't feel
- 59:45Speaker 4: like it. You've got to be willing to show up
- 59:48Speaker 4: when you feel confident. And you've got to be willing
- 59:51Speaker 4: to show up when you're feeling uncertain.
- 59:55Speaker 3: My future ain't at the game. My future ain't at
- 59:57Speaker 3: the mall.
- 59:57Speaker 6: My future is in me giving every ounce of my soul,
- 1:00:00Speaker 6: every ounce of my being, everything I got.
- 1:00:04Speaker 3: No more tomorrows.
- 1:00:06Speaker 5: Give everything you got today.
- 1:00:10Speaker 3: There is absolutely no tomorrow.
- 1:00:14Speaker 6: That needs to be your new mindset. That needs to
- 1:00:16Speaker 6: be your new mantra. I need you to get it through.
- 1:00:18Speaker 3: Your thick skull.
- 1:00:21Speaker 6: No one knows what will happen tomorrow. But today you
- 1:00:24Speaker 6: have to achieve more than you did yesterday.
- 1:00:26Speaker 4: So take action today. Go after your dreams today. Get
- 1:00:33Speaker 4: out of your comfort zone today.
- 1:00:36Speaker 5: Come on. You got to stop overthinking. Like you're thinking
- 1:00:38Speaker 5: this thing. You're thinking yourself out of it.
- 1:00:41Speaker 2: And you're negotiating your path out of this obligation, this opportunity,
- 1:00:47Speaker 2: this moment in time where you could really become something,
- 1:00:52Speaker 2: really accomplish something. We've got to get to the place
- 1:00:56Speaker 2: where we have non-negotiables. Like, yo, I'm not negotiating myself
- 1:01:00Speaker 2: out of this.
- 1:01:01Speaker 5: This is not a conversation I'm available for. I'm not
- 1:01:04Speaker 5: going to keep thinking myself out of destiny, out of purpose,
- 1:01:09Speaker 5: out of connection. I don't have time.
- 1:01:12Speaker 2: I'm completely unavailable. And every single day, I'm living like
- 1:01:19Speaker 2: it's my last. I'm putting it all on the table.
- 1:01:29Speaker 2: The future is very expensive.
- 1:01:35Speaker 13: I don't know what it is that you want to do,
- 1:01:36Speaker 13: but everybody's got something they want to do.
- 1:01:39Speaker 5: Everybody's got something they want to become.
- 1:01:41Speaker 2: Everybody's got somewhere they believe they've been destined to go.
- 1:01:46Speaker 2: And oftentimes we don't hit these targets because we're not
- 1:01:51Speaker 2: considering the cost. Then I just want to share with
- 1:01:55Speaker 2: you things that you need to start sacrificing right now.
- 1:02:00Speaker 13: Number one, your time. You got to get used to
- 1:02:02Speaker 13: sacrificing your time. If you're going to achieve it, if
- 1:02:06Speaker 13: you're going to become it, if you're going to go somewhere,
- 1:02:09Speaker 13: then you're going to learn how to have to sacrifice
- 1:02:11Speaker 13: your time.
- 1:02:11Speaker 5: You can't have the future.
- 1:02:13Speaker 13: And you don't know how to wake up at three
- 1:02:14Speaker 13: o'clock in the morning, four o'clock in the morning, five
- 1:02:17Speaker 13: o'clock in the morning. You can't have the future. You
- 1:02:19Speaker 13: will not be able to manifest if you're sleeping when
- 1:02:23Speaker 13: the world sleeps. So you got to learn how to
- 1:02:26Speaker 13: get up when everybody's sleeping. You only have 24 hours
- 1:02:30Speaker 13: in a day. You got to learn to manage the
- 1:02:32Speaker 13: time that is given to you. This means that you
- 1:02:35Speaker 13: can't binge watch your favorite television show every day. This
- 1:02:38Speaker 13: means that you can't be on social media every day.
- 1:02:41Speaker 13: This means that you can't do whatever you want all
- 1:02:43Speaker 13: day and think you're going to manifest and become this
- 1:02:46Speaker 13: person and achieve this feat.
- 1:02:48Speaker 5: It's not going to happen. Number two, you got to
- 1:02:52Speaker 5: surrender comfort.
- 1:02:53Speaker 2: I need you to get out of your comfort zone
- 1:02:59Speaker 2: If you're going to be successful, if you're going to
- 1:03:02Speaker 2: achieve it, if you're going to become it, you've got
- 1:03:05Speaker 2: to break out of your comfort zone. Some of you,
- 1:03:09Speaker 2: you have financial goals, you have relational.
- 1:03:11Speaker 13: Goals, you have health goals, but you're comfortable. You're comfortable
- 1:03:16Speaker 13: in the current toxic relationship you're in. You're comfortable being overweight.
- 1:03:21Speaker 2: But I'm just wondering if there's anybody that's listening to
- 1:03:23Speaker 2: me that's just flat out tired of being comfortable.
- 1:03:29Speaker 5: Number three, past versions of yourself.
- 1:03:34Speaker 2: There is an irritation, there is an anguish and a
- 1:03:38Speaker 2: pain that we all carry when we show up in
- 1:03:42Speaker 2: a new season, the old version of ourselves. Every season
- 1:03:47Speaker 2: requires a new version of yourself. Another version of discipline
- 1:03:54Speaker 2: and focus and intentionality requires So you got to sacrifice
- 1:03:59Speaker 2: the old you. I know you keep celebrating small wins
- 1:04:02Speaker 2: and what you accomplished five years ago, two years ago,
- 1:04:05Speaker 2: what you did in high school. I need you to
- 1:04:08Speaker 2: find a mirror. I need you to say goodbye to
- 1:04:12Speaker 2: the old version of yourself. In the next three to
- 1:04:15Speaker 2: six months, you're going to make you proud. The next
- 1:04:21Speaker 2: thing that's got to go is fear, pride, and ego.
- 1:04:27Speaker 5: For many of us, fear.
- 1:04:29Speaker 2: Is disguised as rational and practical. And fear is disguised
- 1:04:35Speaker 2: as a planning agent. I'm just planning out the process
- 1:04:38Speaker 2: and I'm just going to wait. I'm just kind of
- 1:04:40Speaker 2: walking myself through everything and processing everything.
- 1:04:43Speaker 5: And so fear cloaks, fear.
- 1:04:45Speaker 2: Disguises itself as process and.
- 1:04:49Speaker 5: And I'm talking to you.
- 1:04:50Speaker 2: I need you to find a mirror and I need
- 1:04:52Speaker 2: you to bind up the spirit of fear. And I
- 1:04:55Speaker 2: need you to tell yourself, I am not afraid.
- 1:04:58Speaker 5: I am not afraid. If you were to ask me,
- 1:05:02Speaker 5: what do I fear? I don't fear starting.
- 1:05:04Speaker 13: I fear never starting and sleeping on my potential. I'm
- 1:05:07Speaker 13: terrified of not manifesting and becoming the version of myself
- 1:05:12Speaker 13: I was destined to be. So the next thing you're
- 1:05:16Speaker 13: going to have to sacrifice is that vice. Now listen,
- 1:05:18Speaker 13: I don't know what your vice is. If you're trying
- 1:05:21Speaker 13: to lose weight, your vice could be ice cream, chips, cupcakes, cookies.
- 1:05:25Speaker 13: If you're trying to be financially fit, your vice could
- 1:05:28Speaker 13: be splurging on clothes and entertainment and food and recreation.
- 1:05:35Speaker 13: Sometimes you're going to have to surrender that month, that quarter,
- 1:05:38Speaker 13: that year. It takes a lifetime of discipline. Can you
- 1:05:44Speaker 13: surrender what you have possessed? Can you surrender what is
- 1:05:48Speaker 13: possessing you?
- 1:05:48Speaker 5: Some of you are possessed by social media. It's no
- 1:05:53Speaker 5: longer a servant.
- 1:05:54Speaker 3: It is a master.
- 1:05:55Speaker 13: Social media is a beautiful servant, but it is a
- 1:05:58Speaker 13: terrible master.
- 1:06:01Speaker 2: Can you surrender social media? Can you surrender your time?
- 1:06:05Speaker 2: Can you surrender yourself? Can you surrender your mind? Can
- 1:06:08Speaker 2: you surrender your will? Can you stop choosing what's killing you?
- 1:06:12Speaker 13: If you're going to achieve it, if you're going to
- 1:06:15Speaker 13: manifest it, if you're going to do this thing, then
- 1:06:16Speaker 13: you're going to need some stamina.
- 1:06:18Speaker 5: Come on, believe it.
- 1:06:20Speaker 2: Come on, you got to start speaking that stamina over
- 1:06:22Speaker 2: your life, speaking that endurance over your life.
- 1:06:24Speaker 13: Believe it, believe it. If you're going to be extraordinary,
- 1:06:29Speaker 13: And you can't make ordinary sacrifices. There are levels to sacrifice.
- 1:06:32Speaker 13: There are sacrifices that everybody makes. Sacrifices in every scene
- 1:06:36Speaker 13: of our lives. And then there are some extraordinary sacrifices.
- 1:06:42Speaker 13: You can't have the future if you can't surrender something
- 1:06:46Speaker 13: that's no longer serving you.
- 1:06:47Speaker 2: You cannot manifest. You cannot become the next version of yourself.
- 1:06:52Speaker 2: You cannot experience a higher quality of life unless you sacrifice.
- 1:06:56Speaker 2: There are some things that you love too much. There
- 1:07:00Speaker 2: are some people that you've kept in your life. They
- 1:07:03Speaker 2: are toxic. They add no value. They are no longer
- 1:07:06Speaker 2: serving your vision. It's time for the next version of yourself.
- 1:07:11Speaker 2: Snap out of it. This version of you is not
- 1:07:15Speaker 2: going to carry you in this next season. You're going
- 1:07:19Speaker 2: to have to sacrifice who you used to be.
- 1:07:54Speaker 5: So so so so Thank you.
- 1:08:55Speaker 2: Thanks for watching!
