- 0:00SPEAKER_02: Zach wants to know about our pull-up song.
- 0:04SPEAKER_02: So when we pull up to a location, we like to play corn coming undone.
- 0:08SPEAKER_02: And what's funny.
- 0:10SPEAKER_02: Yes.
- 0:11SPEAKER_02: So what's funny is the last time I was pulling up to a location, I was like really cutting it close on time.
- 0:16SPEAKER_02: I just had my music on, like, you know, my Tiffany.
- 0:21SPEAKER_02: Always late.
- 0:23SPEAKER_02: But I forgot to put my my pulling up song on.
- 0:26SPEAKER_02: And as soon as I made the turn, it turned on.
- 0:29SPEAKER_02: Like it was my playlist.
- 0:30SPEAKER_02: So I'm not saying like, you know, it came out of nowhere, but it was pretty nice timing.
- 0:36SPEAKER_02: It was pretty nice timing.
- 0:37SPEAKER_02: Somebody was looking out for me.
- 0:39SPEAKER_02: They knew I needed it.
- 0:40SPEAKER_00: We also have another song.
- 0:42SPEAKER_00: Jess is reminding me.
- 0:44SPEAKER_00: You know the Jack and Diane song, right?
- 0:47SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 0:47SPEAKER_00: We just have like an alternate version to it.
- 0:50SPEAKER_00: And I don't want to even say it because I want to meet up with you one day, Ryan, and we're going to play it for you when we meet up.
- 0:57SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 0:57SPEAKER_00: But just know that we have another song that we always play on our road trips.
- 1:06SPEAKER_00: So when we see you in person, we're going to play it for you.
- 1:09SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 1:12SPEAKER_03: Let's get some uh generic questions out of the way.
- 1:14SPEAKER_03: Uh bucket list place, anywhere in the world.
- 1:18SPEAKER_00: We were just talking about that.
- 1:20SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I really want to go to St.
- 1:21SPEAKER_02: Augustine.
- 1:22SPEAKER_02: And I would love to see the Winchester House in California.
- 1:26SPEAKER_02: I don't really think I mean it would be awesome to investigate, but I think they just do tours there.
- 1:33SPEAKER_00: I've been there and it's amazing.
- 1:35SPEAKER_00: It really is awesome.
- 1:37SPEAKER_00: Just to tour it.
- 1:38SPEAKER_00: Um, I think you can investigate there, but you have to be pretty famous, maybe.
- 1:43SPEAKER_00: I'm not sure.
- 1:44SPEAKER_03: They have like yet they have so many followers, and it's like starts out with ten thousand dollars or something nice.
- 1:49SPEAKER_03: It's crazy.
- 1:50SPEAKER_02: It is definitely worth how many followers do we need?
- 1:55SPEAKER_03: I don't know, that's a lot.
- 1:58SPEAKER_00: Probably millions.
- 1:59SPEAKER_03: Yeah, probably.
- 2:00SPEAKER_03: I mean, not what I have.
- 2:02SPEAKER_00: St.
- 2:03SPEAKER_00: Augustine lighthouse is has always been on my bucket list.
- 2:07SPEAKER_03: Yeah, that that place just looks cool.
- 2:09SPEAKER_03: I mean, from the lighthouse to the the quarters where they stayed.
- 2:13SPEAKER_03: I mean, it's all supposed to be a museum.
- 2:15SPEAKER_00: I'm like an OG ghost hunter person, the TV show, and ever since they had their episode, it was like forever ago.
- 2:25SPEAKER_00: I don't know, maybe like 2004, they were there.
- 2:32SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yes.
- 2:32SPEAKER_00: Ever since then, I was like, I'm going there.
- 2:35SPEAKER_00: That has always been on my list for sure.
- 2:38SPEAKER_02: Our team member Jess just commented that hers is the Stanley Hotel.
- 2:42SPEAKER_03: Okay.
- 2:43SPEAKER_00: Everybody loves room 217.
- 2:48SPEAKER_00: That's the room Stephen King stayed in.
- 2:51SPEAKER_00: Oh, I don't know much about the Stanley Hotel.
- 2:54SPEAKER_00: I'll have to look it up.
- 2:55SPEAKER_00: That is his inspiration for the shining.
- 2:58SPEAKER_02: Oh, okay.
- 2:59SPEAKER_02: Uh well then how did I not know that?
- 3:02SPEAKER_03: Uh I mean, it'd be cool to go there, spend the night, but I mean, I think there's uh other cool places for me in New York.
- 3:13SPEAKER_00: Um, I think I would like to do Poveglia Island.
- 3:17SPEAKER_00: That's that island in Italy.
- 3:19SPEAKER_00: Okay, yeah, that's super haunted.
- 3:22SPEAKER_03: Um, let's talk about that because I mean we talked about before, but like Italy and you know, Australia, they never really come up on haunted stuff, it's always UK, United States.
- 3:33SPEAKER_00: It is right, it's it's interesting, those ones, and you think what's the reason for that?
- 3:39SPEAKER_00: Because it's not that there's not haunted locations there, it just maybe it's the age of the areas, like um, my husband and I honeymooned in Ireland, and we went to Lepp Castle there, which was so cool.
- 3:54SPEAKER_00: Definitely put that on your bucket list.
- 3:56SPEAKER_03: That's what's top my bucket list.
- 3:58SPEAKER_00: Yes, go for sure, just go to Ireland in general, love it.
- 4:03SPEAKER_03: Um, yeah, I'm trying to get out there.
- 4:05SPEAKER_03: I think next year is gonna be Ireland trip.
- 4:07SPEAKER_00: So, yes, I definitely suggest it.
- 4:10SPEAKER_00: And so we went and stopped there, and um I just I mean, going around that whole country, the history there, but it's like I mean, the history goes back so far that you can't even fathom that these castles will were built that far in the past, and that we're standing in them, exploring them, and they're still in great shape, and people still live in them.
- 4:37SPEAKER_00: And and so I think just seeing the how old the history is in some of these places, like maybe some areas just are older history than others.
- 4:48SPEAKER_03: Maybe maybe it's just I don't I don't know, because I mean there has to be history like down in South America, you know, the Mayan Tempo area, I mean South, you know, Africa, Egyptian.
- 5:00SPEAKER_03: I mean, maybe they just don't look at paranormal the same way.
- 5:03SPEAKER_03: That's why it's not maybe you're not allowed to do it there.
- 5:06SPEAKER_03: I don't know.
- 5:07SPEAKER_03: Yeah, maybe there's so many, so many other countries that aren't talked about.
- 5:14SPEAKER_00: There are, but I I still feel like I have so many bucket list items in our country still.
- 5:21SPEAKER_00: Like, um, I would love to do the Queen Mary, that'd be very cool.
- 5:25SPEAKER_00: Yeah, that's on my bucket list.
- 5:27SPEAKER_03: Um, yeah, I'm I'm going to UK this year to investigate.
- 5:32SPEAKER_00: Are you?
- 5:33SPEAKER_00: Wow.
- 5:34SPEAKER_00: So where we're at.
- 5:36SPEAKER_03: Yeah, she was on the other night last night.
- 5:38SPEAKER_03: I forget Emma from Ghost of Gatherings.
- 5:42SPEAKER_03: I'm meeting up with her and we're doing investigation.
- 5:45SPEAKER_03: But it's gonna be it's gonna be fun because I want to see the country.
- 5:48SPEAKER_03: I'm gonna be there four nights, five days.
- 5:50SPEAKER_03: Just I'm meeting up with Emily Paranormal.
- 5:52SPEAKER_03: She's gonna meet us the first night and do an investigation with us.
- 5:55SPEAKER_03: So I mean, a bucket list, but you're talking history, like HA Ray M in, but I think it was 1100s.
- 6:02SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it's crazy when you're standing in these places and you're like, this was from like 1050, or it's crazy, it's insane how old the history is out there.
- 6:14SPEAKER_03: And over here, we're like, wow, this was built in 1880.
- 6:17SPEAKER_03: This is so old.
- 6:20SPEAKER_02: I know it's crazy is somehow sometimes the paint peels and other times it doesn't.
- 6:25SPEAKER_00: Oh Tiffany, she's obsessed with paint peeling.
- 6:35SPEAKER_00: How did they preserve it?
- 6:38SPEAKER_03: This was brought up on Facebook today.
- 6:40SPEAKER_03: The catacombs.
- 6:42SPEAKER_00: Yeah, Deborah, I would love to investigate the catacombs.
- 6:45SPEAKER_00: That would be amazing.
- 6:46SPEAKER_00: So I'm a teacher, and a lot of my students know how obsessed I am with ghosts.
- 6:52SPEAKER_00: And so some of them, this this one little boy in particular, every time I see him, I think he thinks that we're like ghostbusters, and he's always like, You catch a ghost yet?
- 7:05SPEAKER_00: Did you catch a ghost yet?
- 7:07SPEAKER_00: And I'm like, Not yet.
- 7:08SPEAKER_00: But um, some of them travel, and I did have a student that went into the catacombs in Paris, and she came back and brought me all these pictures to see.
- 7:20SPEAKER_00: Oh and so that from that moment on, I was like, Oh, we gotta get there, we gotta get there.
- 7:28SPEAKER_03: That's like my dream investigation, and it sounds stupid, and people don't believe me, besides the people that actually know me.
- 7:36SPEAKER_03: I want to do catacombs solo with no flashlight.
- 7:40SPEAKER_03: Wow, I just want to go in and just see what happens.
- 7:44SPEAKER_00: I'd be so scared to get lost.
- 7:47SPEAKER_00: Me too.
- 7:48SPEAKER_03: Um, hopefully, someone gets me.
- 7:49SPEAKER_03: I mean, maybe I'll put a little GPS tracker on me.
- 7:52SPEAKER_03: You're reminding me of like put an air tag, but I think it'd be uh, you know, test your limit type thing because I love testing my limits.
- 8:03SPEAKER_03: Yeah, and I'm not I'm not gonna lie.
- 8:06SPEAKER_03: I mean, I'm be scared, but like you lock that door, and I gotta walk down these catacombs with no flashlight.
- 8:11SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I'll probably have a lot of bruises on my legs from hitting stuff.
- 8:14SPEAKER_00: But I feel like certain places like that, or certain places we go, I feel like sometimes it's more of the normal that we're scared of, not the paranormal.
- 8:25SPEAKER_00: Like a homeless person living down in the catacombs because that would be terrifying.
- 8:32SPEAKER_00: Who knows?
- 8:34SPEAKER_00: It's funny.
- 8:36SPEAKER_00: We don't do too many solos as a team, but I mean, I'm I'm open to them.
- 8:42SPEAKER_00: I think some of our investigators would be and some would not be.
- 8:47SPEAKER_03: So I've pushed my team to do solos, not because I'm an ass, but yeah, I think I I think it's important for these places we do investigate hospitals and everything else.
- 8:59SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I think about the people that were there.
- 9:01SPEAKER_03: Yeah, they were they were solo and with maybe a nurse or a caretaker, and that's it.
- 9:06SPEAKER_03: So when you come in with 15 people or 10 people, they might back away.
- 9:12SPEAKER_02: Yeah, we do notice we get better results with smaller groups, so we do try to split up into smaller groups.
- 9:18SPEAKER_03: So I think solos are important, and it's yeah, people think I just push them because I'm just trying to be that guy, but I think it's important to try to get answers that way too.
- 9:29SPEAKER_00: Tiffany, we do get a lot of luck in hospitals and places like that because Tiffany's a nurse, she's a director of nursing at a nursing home where she lives, and so she kind of goes into character, and we offer nurse Tiffany up to anybody that needs help or might need medicine, or I'll walk down a few dark hallways alone, but she does, she shakes the medicine down the hallway by myself.
- 9:57SPEAKER_02: Yeah.
- 9:58SPEAKER_03: Do you walk down like jello or pudding or something?
- 10:01SPEAKER_02: No, I just like say, like, do you need any help?
- 10:04SPEAKER_02: Are you having any pain?
- 10:05SPEAKER_02: Um, do you want to no?
- 10:06SPEAKER_00: But next time we're bringing jello for sure.
- 10:08SPEAKER_02: Do you want to help getting ready for bed?
- 10:10SPEAKER_02: Like things I I think I would normally say, like doing a nursing job, you know.
- 10:15SPEAKER_00: And the one time we were at Hillview Manor, which was a poor farm, turned into like a long-term care facility.
- 10:23SPEAKER_00: And she really went into character and had like the lab coat and the little nurse hat.
- 10:30SPEAKER_00: And in the basement, I think something yanked on her doctor coat or whatever you were wearing, real hard.
- 10:38SPEAKER_00: It was like a lab coat, yeah.
- 10:40SPEAKER_00: So I do suggest kind of getting into character in some of these places you go to, because especially hospitals, I feel like it's very a lot of residual energy where it's like that hospitals are still alive.
- 10:55SPEAKER_03: I thought about like old hospital in College Hill when we were there because we did a trip last year, like just doing the visitor badges, you know, just hey, my name is visitor, my name is whatever.
- 11:07SPEAKER_03: Yeah, maybe that will you know bring something out.
- 11:10SPEAKER_03: Yeah, honestly, it's gonna cost you a dollar for a whole thing of stickers, might as well try it.
- 11:17SPEAKER_03: Yeah, um, let's talk about nurse spirits because that's always get brought up in a lot of these places.
- 11:21SPEAKER_03: There's always a nurse ghost.
- 11:23SPEAKER_02: Do you think they're there because they're still taking care of the patients, or are they there to warn us about patients when we're not thinking I me personally, like if it were me, I think I'd be there because, like, especially people who work at a place for a really long time, you get really dedicated to the patients and also the building, like it kind of becomes your second home.
- 11:47SPEAKER_02: So I think they're just attached to like the building and the patients that were there.
- 11:52SPEAKER_03: Because I always thought, like, sorry, I always thought like the back in the day, the nurses that was their life, you know, that was 24-7, like trans-Allegheny.
- 12:04SPEAKER_03: So, like, why would they that's what they want to do, that's what they did.
- 12:08SPEAKER_03: So when they pass, they're doing the same thing.
- 12:11SPEAKER_02: Yeah, I mean, as a nurse, you you often spend more time at work and with residents and their families than you do your own family.
- 12:18SPEAKER_00: So and like at LOE's asylum, the nurses and doctors and their families lived there in the building.
- 12:25SPEAKER_00: There was like a whole nother section that was their the staff quarters where they lived, and it was a nicer part of the building.
- 12:33SPEAKER_00: The architecture in that part of the building was done better, and and so I personally think, especially after going to Waverly multiple times, that place alone, I just think there's a whole nother level of energy that is in these locations because of how massive it is and how many people worked there, how many people were in and out of there, like Tiffany said, how many people dedicate their lives there.
- 13:01SPEAKER_00: And I think a lot of the hospitals have more residual energy where it's like like carts wheeling down the hallways and and bed curtains sliding and and medicine bottles and keys jingling, and because I I really do feel like so much energy is created in those buildings, and it's it's not just gonna go away.
- 13:26SPEAKER_00: And I do think there's a lot of intellectual energy there as well and spirits, but it's just I just think hospitals produce so much, there's so much that goes on, there's so many people involved, and sometimes it takes a lot of energy just to help people there.
- 13:43SPEAKER_00: So I do think the hospitals are cool.
- 13:47SPEAKER_03: I would say hospitals that you know they start life and they end life in the same building, so it's a lot of different energy, yeah.
- 13:57SPEAKER_03: I mean, trigger objects are huge.
- 13:59SPEAKER_03: Um, I know Alme's big into that.
- 14:01SPEAKER_00: Um, she always dumb stuff asylums and jails, too.
- 14:05SPEAKER_00: Hospitals, jails, asylums for sure.
- 14:09SPEAKER_00: Those are our favorites.
- 14:10SPEAKER_03: Uh what else we got going on here?
- 14:12SPEAKER_03: Uh, what's your favorite piece of equipment?
- 14:14SPEAKER_03: You can only take one thing in.
- 14:16SPEAKER_02: Oh, if it was only one, it'd be the recorder.
- 14:19SPEAKER_02: Definitely recorder for me.
- 14:21SPEAKER_03: Besides recorder, everybody's taking a recorder.
- 14:22SPEAKER_03: Let's go.
- 14:23SPEAKER_00: Okay.
- 14:24SPEAKER_00: And so recorder plus one thing.
- 14:27SPEAKER_03: Recorder plus one.
- 14:29SPEAKER_02: I like the flux a lot.
- 14:31SPEAKER_00: I was just gonna say that.
- 14:34SPEAKER_02: I love the flux, especially when you can make it feel intelligent, like when you can, and it's not often, but we have had it to where we can say, like, okay, you lit it up green, now light it up red for us, and then we're gonna use this to say yes.
- 14:48SPEAKER_02: And we have had conversations, but it it doesn't happen often, but when it does and it seems intelligent, it's amazing.
- 14:57SPEAKER_00: Yeah.
- 14:58SPEAKER_00: Um, I do love the flux, and there, yeah, like you said, there's been a lot of places, like I know Crescent was one place where we really had good communication there.
- 15:08SPEAKER_00: Um, the tripwires, though, are becoming one of the things.
- 15:12SPEAKER_00: I'm really liking them too.
- 15:13SPEAKER_00: The newer version.
- 15:15SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I got both.
- 15:16SPEAKER_03: I love them because you have to get close, like for that thing to go off.
- 15:21SPEAKER_03: Yeah, it's not the dead bell is so sensitive.
- 15:25SPEAKER_03: It is, but yeah, the tripwire, like you have to be three inches away from that thing for it to go off.
- 15:32SPEAKER_03: That's what I like about it.
- 15:33SPEAKER_02: Because I like that too, because it's not super sensitive, right?
- 15:37SPEAKER_00: Um, so Deborah had our team member Lexi, she loves the music box.
- 15:42SPEAKER_00: It is cool and it's creepy, it's so creepy when it goes off.
- 15:47SPEAKER_02: And I like when the same with that, I like when you can kind of confirm its intelligence by saying, like, okay, step away.
- 15:54SPEAKER_02: Yeah, okay, touch it.
- 15:56SPEAKER_02: Like, we've had that happen a few times too.
- 15:58SPEAKER_00: Yeah, yeah.
- 15:59SPEAKER_00: I do, I do love the music box.
- 16:02SPEAKER_00: It it's terrifying when it goes off and there's nothing near it, and but it's just it's such a fun piece of equipment to have the music going off, and and I think it's more enticing to the spirits too, because they want to hear the music and see what it is, and yeah, yeah.
- 16:19SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I think you you have to have different stuff too, like motion sensor, EMF, because you don't know what spirits are gonna interact with, right?
- 16:27SPEAKER_03: Um, spirit, I always have my spirit box in my pocket because nothing's really happening, I'll break out the spirit box.
- 16:34SPEAKER_00: Yeah, talking about old school equipment, and let me know what you guys think in the chat.
- 16:39SPEAKER_00: But Ryan, how do you feel about like the just standard mag lights that you twist and the like I have I have not used them because I was so I don't want to say against them, but it just seems so.
- 16:52SPEAKER_03: But I worked with Nacho and where were we, Shanley Hotel in New York, and they're they're pretty legit, I think.
- 16:59SPEAKER_00: I mean so we're kind of like certain situations, if it's not matching up with what we're saying, we just kind of dismiss it.
- 17:10SPEAKER_00: But the last time we were on the third floor at Hillview, um, I was sitting on the floor and I put the flashlight right beside me.
- 17:18SPEAKER_00: And um, you know, you kind of have to give it time to um for them to figure it out or to try to get it to be where they're responding to you.
- 17:28SPEAKER_00: But I told them to come sit by me where the flashlight was, and the light immediately went on.
- 17:35SPEAKER_00: And no joke for 40 minutes, about 40 minutes, we were sitting there and the light would turn off, and I would say, No, don't leave me, I'm visiting you, come back, and it right away it would pop back on, like not like a little bit of flickering, but completely on it would go completely off, and I'd say, No, come back, I want you to sit by me.
- 17:57SPEAKER_00: And over and over again for like 40 minutes, it kept doing that and like right on cue, asking.
- 18:04SPEAKER_00: And so we have been getting that out a lot more lately, just because I think it really works well to corroborate with other equipment.
- 18:14SPEAKER_00: So um, when we were at the Ross house when we were with Zach and his team, it was only four of us, Zach, Tammy, me, and Jess.
- 18:25SPEAKER_00: And we had set a beach ball on the table.
- 18:28SPEAKER_00: And I think this is the video that helped us win the MVE award.
- 18:34SPEAKER_00: But um, there was a ball on the table, it was like a beach ball, and it was heavy because there was something inside, so it didn't roll well, but we put it on the table.
- 18:47SPEAKER_00: Zach, he said, boo.
- 18:51SPEAKER_00: So we put it on the table.
- 18:53SPEAKER_00: We asked it for like an hour, knock it off the table, push it over, and it kept looking like it was trying to, like it was moving a little bit, and then finally it rolled onto the table.
- 19:05SPEAKER_00: And that whole time that it rolled off, we had been getting the flashlight turning on, counting down on Q.
- 19:14SPEAKER_00: So turn the flashlight on, please, in three, two, one, and it would go on.
- 19:20SPEAKER_00: Then there was also other things running around, like setting the tripwire off, almost like kids were running around.
- 19:28SPEAKER_00: And then we went upstairs.
- 19:31SPEAKER_00: I left the camera running on the ball.
- 19:34SPEAKER_00: There was also a motion sensor on the table where the ball was, and a tripwire, the newer tripwire 2.0 on the floor.
- 19:44SPEAKER_00: And we did end up catching on camera, the ball starting to roll.
- 19:50SPEAKER_00: It stopped, the motion light went on, then the ball started rolling off the table.
- 19:56SPEAKER_00: The tripwire went off before it even hit the floor as it was falling.
- 20:02SPEAKER_00: So I think being able to see all this stuff simultaneously going off, like something actually physically moving, the tripwire going off, the motion light, the flashlight was going crazy before.
- 20:17SPEAKER_00: So um, yeah, that was an amazing experience.
- 20:22SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I got your this is for you two, not me, but what did she ask earlier?
- 20:27SPEAKER_03: I think it's the same thing.
- 20:28SPEAKER_00: Oh, about the nurses, yeah.
- 20:30SPEAKER_03: If they don't die there, why are they there?
- 20:33SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I do think it's it's energy, as in that those are the locations where they spent the most time, or the locations where they've devoted the most time and attention in their career or in their life.
- 20:50SPEAKER_00: Sometimes I feel that it is just energy, and sometimes I feel that it is the spirits of children.
- 20:58SPEAKER_00: Um, I think some of the locations we've been to, there have been people that do pass away that are there, but I do always think about that too, Deborah.
- 21:08SPEAKER_00: Like, why would the doctors or the nurses be there?
- 21:11SPEAKER_00: And and if it's not residual, maybe they're attracted to or stuck with items too.
- 21:20SPEAKER_00: A lot of these places have items, and we used to two of our team members, Carly and Laurel, used to own an antique store in Jennerstown, PA.
- 21:31SPEAKER_00: It was 1806 antiques, and it was very haunted.
- 21:36SPEAKER_00: They did such a nice job with that antique store, and they did end up selling it, but it was built in 1806, like started in 1802, built in 1806.
- 21:48SPEAKER_00: So super old, but I like the walls were built, the the brick walls were built of horse hair and lime.
- 21:57SPEAKER_00: I remember them saying that's how cool it was.
- 22:00SPEAKER_00: But um I think the building itself was haunted, but all of the items in there were what contributed to that location having all different types of spirits.
- 22:12SPEAKER_00: And so maybe some of these places do have um spirits that are attracted to things that are in the place, in the locations.
- 22:22SPEAKER_00: I don't have a clear example answer for that, but I do wonder about that all the time.
- 22:27SPEAKER_03: I think some of it is like Fairfield County has the the superintendent, he was in charge of the place.
- 22:34SPEAKER_03: They say that's the mean meaner of the spirits there.
- 22:38SPEAKER_03: Maybe he just likes the power trip because he was in charge of that place.
- 22:42SPEAKER_03: You know, like this is my place, no one else is taking it over.
- 22:46SPEAKER_00: That could be they don't want to give up the that power.
- 22:50SPEAKER_03: Yeah, and I did play a trick, not trick.
- 22:52SPEAKER_03: I did a experiment, we'll call it an experiment when I was at Fairfield.
- 22:56SPEAKER_03: I got there early.
- 22:57SPEAKER_03: I mean, my buddy Craig went to the jail cell, whatever they want to call it, and I talked smack on one of my teammates that were coming, female.
- 23:07SPEAKER_03: And I'm like, she's taking this over.
- 23:09SPEAKER_03: You're you're kicked out, you know.
- 23:11SPEAKER_03: I'm like, you're in charge, but she says she's in charge now, so you want to stay in charge, you gotta do something.
- 23:18SPEAKER_03: I did not tell anybody.
- 23:19SPEAKER_03: I filmed it all, I did not tell anybody besides my buddy Craig.
- 23:23SPEAKER_03: No one had any idea what we're doing.
- 23:25SPEAKER_03: So they went up there, just the girls went up there and did a session in that room.
- 23:30SPEAKER_03: She got her name called, she got her arm like grabbed, and it wasn't until we were doing a podcast here, and I'm like, Oh, yeah, I gotta tell you something.
- 23:41SPEAKER_03: Um, I gotta set you up.
- 23:44SPEAKER_03: I just wanted to see, you know, and it worked.
- 23:48SPEAKER_03: So there is something in charge up there that's saying I'm in charge, and like nurses, they like taking care of people, that was their life, and they're gonna go back to those places.
- 24:01SPEAKER_00: It it makes you wonder too, if that's like their only connection to stay here.
- 24:06SPEAKER_00: If that if that is their only connection, their only way of coming back or visiting, or if that is their only connection to be able to stay wherever it is that they're at that they want to be at, you know, like maybe everybody's connection is different, and yeah.
- 24:26SPEAKER_03: I mean, I think it's you know, Tiffy knows as a nurse that's your life taking care of people.
- 24:32SPEAKER_00: So exact, they're going there this weekend, Fairfield.
- 24:36SPEAKER_02: Oh, we can't wait to hear about it.
- 24:39SPEAKER_03: Yeah, so I mean, there's a lot of different I believe that spirits can travel, you know, place to place, and Ross House has taught me that because Ross House has so many spirits.
- 24:49SPEAKER_03: I always call it a train station of spirits.
- 24:52SPEAKER_00: Same with Bel Air House, both of those locations, it's just like in and out, in and out, in and out.
- 24:58SPEAKER_03: That whole city's haunted.
- 24:59SPEAKER_02: That's how a lot of like Wimber is too, like the main part of Wimber.
- 25:03SPEAKER_03: Yeah, they uh I think that whole city is just haunted, you know, it has such a history of Bel Air.
- 25:10SPEAKER_03: So no, I'm a big believer.
- 25:13SPEAKER_03: If you ask enough questions, spirits will come.
- 25:16SPEAKER_00: I mean, Mark, I like that idea.
- 25:19SPEAKER_00: He said using music to draw spirits from specific timelines about using Christian music to see how bad spirits or negative spirits would react.
- 25:31SPEAKER_00: Um, we did that at Hillview Manor.
- 25:34SPEAKER_00: There's a chapel in um the one part of that hospital, and a lot of times you get that Christian music there, and so that would be a case where you're playing Christian music to get those spirits to respond to that in a positive way, but using it as the opposite, that'd be super interesting.
- 25:57SPEAKER_00: I feel like you need to try that, Mark, and tell us what happens.
- 26:04SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I've I've never done that or thought to do that.
- 26:08SPEAKER_00: Um, most of the time we're playing music because it was from a certain time period or just as a trigger object, but we don't do a ton of provoking, and I feel like that would kind of flirt on the lines of provoking, yeah.
- 26:24SPEAKER_00: Um, just because we just want to come with more of a respectful approach, but that would be something worth trying, though.
- 26:37SPEAKER_03: I don't provoke, um, I'm not I'm again I'm against it.
- 26:41SPEAKER_03: I don't like doing it because you have a respectful I'm a big believer of positive negative energy.
- 26:48SPEAKER_03: And besides Madison Seminary and the addict, I said that thing has messed with my female teammates so much.
- 26:56SPEAKER_03: That doctor up there, whatever he is up there.
- 26:58SPEAKER_03: So, like, I've gone up there, be like, what's up, bitch?
- 27:02SPEAKER_03: You know, like what you got?
- 27:04SPEAKER_03: Because females will go up there and get their hair pulled, you know, shirts tugged, just feel bad, come back down, and I'll go up there and get nothing.
- 27:12SPEAKER_03: Yeah, see, she knows.
- 27:14SPEAKER_02: That's what I was gonna say.
- 27:15SPEAKER_02: She's asking the question as you're answering it.
- 27:17SPEAKER_02: That's how it is.
- 27:19SPEAKER_03: But yeah, I mean, that's that that's the only place because I mean that dude have a history, and I think he kind of showed himself last time, so I'm interested next time, yeah.
- 27:29SPEAKER_03: And next time, I mean, how far are you guys away from like Cleveland area?
- 27:33SPEAKER_03: Then you guys aren't that far.
- 27:34SPEAKER_00: What four hours maybe?
- 27:36SPEAKER_00: I think I'm three hours, so yeah, that makes sense that you'd be four hours.
- 27:40SPEAKER_03: Yeah, we're east of Cleveland, so maybe sometime this year I can you know get Madison Seminary and we'll do the well, how about we do like half no equipment investigation?
- 27:51SPEAKER_00: Yeah, let's do that.
- 27:52SPEAKER_00: I'm done.
- 27:54SPEAKER_00: We'll do half no equipment and uh finish out the rest with if if we're not unless it's going well, then no equipment on the and we'll play you our travel song, yeah.
- 28:08SPEAKER_03: Equipment, sorry, I can't do it.
- 28:10SPEAKER_00: No, no, we'll play it outside before we go in on the way.
- 28:14SPEAKER_03: We'll make sure it's uh not freezing out, but yeah, I definitely would like to try that.
- 28:19SPEAKER_00: Yeah, we would love that for sure.
- 28:21SPEAKER_03: Yeah, and maybe we'll get Zach to come up too.
- 28:25SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I'm sure he would.
- 28:27SPEAKER_03: Um, anything else you guys want to talk about?
- 28:29SPEAKER_03: We're an hour and 30 minutes into this.
- 28:32SPEAKER_00: Tiffany, tell them about your opportunity to go to the Warren Museum.
- 28:37SPEAKER_02: Oh, yeah.
- 28:38SPEAKER_02: So um a friend of mine, um, we went to a paracon in Gettysburg, and I guess like just for buying tickets, you could win tickets to the Warren Museum before the new ownership.
- 28:50SPEAKER_02: This was before the new ownership, and this is like it wasn't really open to the public either.
- 28:55SPEAKER_02: Like, so it was like for a small group like a four, you got the tickets.
- 29:00SPEAKER_02: So we went and um we met some of the members of the group and they showed us around the museum.
- 29:08SPEAKER_02: It was so interesting.
- 29:09SPEAKER_02: Got to see the real Annabelle doll, got to see all kinds of haunted objects, and they said that like people will just mail them all kinds of stuff.
- 29:17SPEAKER_02: Like if they think it's haunted, they'll just mail it to them to try to get rid of it.
- 29:21SPEAKER_02: And they have a priest who like will bless the items and stuff.
- 29:25SPEAKER_02: That's why they feel that they're safe in that area.
- 29:28SPEAKER_02: One of the really interesting stories they told too was how Ed Warren would like know that a place was haunted and he would like paint pictures of the house from the outside, and he would give it as a gift to the owner of the house as a way to like kind of work his way into the home to try to help them or investigate.
- 29:48SPEAKER_02: So it was a really cool experience and super nice people.
- 29:56SPEAKER_00: Yeah, I can see Bill provoking.
- 30:00SPEAKER_00: That's funny.
- 30:02SPEAKER_00: Um, yeah, I just want to shut it off though, I feel like hurts calm and bald.
- 30:10SPEAKER_03: I just got done reading that book, The Schmirl Honing.
- 30:14SPEAKER_03: Uh, I think Maxim Fuhrk wrote it.
- 30:16SPEAKER_03: I mean, it was interesting.
- 30:18SPEAKER_01: Yeah.
- 30:19SPEAKER_03: About you know, Ed and Warren and all that.
- 30:22SPEAKER_03: And and he it's not about that honey, it's that he goes over everything about what they did.
- 30:27SPEAKER_03: It's it's pretty neat.
- 30:28SPEAKER_03: He's coming on podcast, I think, next week.
- 30:30SPEAKER_00: Oh, cool.
- 30:31SPEAKER_00: I'll have to read that because to be honest, I kind of have mixed feelings about Ed and Lorraine Warren.
- 30:36SPEAKER_03: Yeah, we were just talking about that at work.
- 30:38SPEAKER_03: Someone asked me about that.
- 30:39SPEAKER_03: They're not in a paranormal or anything, they just know about it.
- 30:41SPEAKER_03: And he's like, What do you?
- 30:42SPEAKER_03: I'm like, I think this is my thought on Ed and Lorraine is you have good investigators that are not good at telling stories.
- 30:53SPEAKER_03: Yeah, you have bad investigators that can tell really good stories.
- 30:57SPEAKER_03: I think they were both, they can investigate and they can tell paint the picture a really good story.
- 31:06SPEAKER_03: So I think that's why it was blown up more.
- 31:09SPEAKER_00: Well, I feel personally there was just so many cases where they kind of weasel their way into helping people and being involved in these haunted locations or possessions, and they weren't invited, or they just kind of became a part of it, and some of the things that they became a part of became even worse.
- 31:33SPEAKER_00: So I kind of have mixed feelings about the situation.
- 31:37SPEAKER_00: Um, part of it would probably be me not knowing enough.
- 31:40SPEAKER_00: Obviously, none of us would unless we were there, but but um after hearing meeting Andrea Perrin and hearing her story about how their family didn't call them, they just showed up and said, Hey, we're here to help.
- 31:56SPEAKER_00: And I feel like there was a lot of that.
- 31:59SPEAKER_00: And yes, Deborah feels the same way.
- 32:01SPEAKER_00: I agree.
- 32:01SPEAKER_00: Um, I do think some of it was embellished, but I also think some of it could have had to do with, you know, there's a fine line between possessions and probably mental health situations.
- 32:15SPEAKER_00: And I just feel like they capitalized on things a little bit too much and kind of weasel their way in, but that's just my opinion.
- 32:23SPEAKER_02: Sometimes I wonder though, were they drawn by something to do this type of stuff?
- 32:29SPEAKER_00: Yeah, like yes, and maybe they just kind of like overstepped their stay, or but yeah, maybe they were drawn to it.
- 32:39SPEAKER_03: I think they got you know, we'll call it the Zach Bagans effect, you know, we're doing it for the right reason.
- 32:45SPEAKER_03: Then money and fame came into it.
- 32:47SPEAKER_03: Yeah, they try they travel the country doing book tours, especially with the Schmerl family, went with them, you know, like hey, let's go do this.
- 32:57SPEAKER_03: But I think, yeah, I think some of the fame got to them a little bit again.
- 33:01SPEAKER_03: I think they're in a right place trying to do the right thing, but again, they you know did push themselves into a lot of places.
- 33:09SPEAKER_00: So we actually met Johnny Zapfus from the Haunted Collector, super nice guy, very nice, very funny, but yeah, it does, and he's the nephew of Ed and Lorraine, okay.
- 33:24SPEAKER_00: And so, you know, we've investigated some of these haunted museums, and and they've been pretty active, and and it does make you wonder going to these museums or seeing these people that collect haunted items, like you know, is it really haunted or is it just a creepy doll that somebody mailed them?
- 33:45SPEAKER_02: Or you know, it it does make you think, but it's still really cool to think about and get to experience, and and it does make you wonder, but they did say too when we were there that a lot of the items that were mailed, like they have no idea if they're haunted, they have no idea like what the story is behind them, and a lot of times they really can't tell like if there is something going on with that item because they just would get so much stuff, but there are times where they would just like there's a priest that like blesses the items and stuff, and like he would feel like an evil presence in a certain item or something, but I mean that's paranormal in the whole, right?
- 34:27SPEAKER_03: If you guys don't have a camera on that ball moving, or it was your experience, yeah.
- 34:33SPEAKER_03: I mean, anybody can say you're you're full of you know crap, and same with Anna Lorraine, people are gonna believe her, right?
- 34:40SPEAKER_03: True, some people are not going to believe them.
- 34:43SPEAKER_03: That's that's the paranormal world.
- 34:45SPEAKER_03: The only thing you can take away from this is your experiences, right?
- 34:49SPEAKER_03: I mean, you can have a ghost slap you in the face and you can have it on camera, and people are gonna say you're full of crap, yeah.
- 34:54SPEAKER_00: Yeah, and when you tell people that story, you don't even say it to expect them to believe you, you're just excited for yourself, like and that's why I hate when people are like you know, we'll post stuff on Facebook and everything, and they're like people come like, Oh, that's fake, that's fake.
- 35:13SPEAKER_03: You know, who cares?
- 35:14SPEAKER_00: Yeah, it's your experience for you, yeah.
- 35:17SPEAKER_03: It's your experience, right?
- 35:19SPEAKER_00: And I think when people don't know you or your style, like we we obviously try to always debunk things.
- 35:25SPEAKER_00: Um, yeah, when the ball fell off the table, I the first time I was walking at the time because I was going to get my tablet out of my backpack, and I thought maybe I bumped the table, maybe I accidentally tugged on the tablecloth, but when you watch it in the camera, I didn't bump it, I wasn't near it, and then like for the rest of the night, we were walking around the table the whole time.
- 35:53SPEAKER_00: I was basically yanking on the tablecloth, and the ball didn't roll off.
- 35:57SPEAKER_00: You know, we try to debunk things, and you know, if there's no explanation for it, yeah, you know, so but we definitely always do try in that situation if it's something but stuff stuff like that happens, and oh yeah, Zach, all the equipment we kept saying, we were urging it so hard to push that ball up, and we said, drain the equipment, use the equipment to get the energy, and everything died all at the same time.
- 36:29SPEAKER_00: The trip water died, the flux died, which that thing never dies.
- 36:34SPEAKER_00: Everything in the room died, the music box, the I think the Melmeter.
- 36:39SPEAKER_00: That's always interesting, like we said too about the corroboration between all the equipment, the equipment draining, something big happens.
- 36:48SPEAKER_00: So we had fun at post town.
- 36:52SPEAKER_01: Yeah, such a fun guy.
- 36:54SPEAKER_01: Oh, dude.
- 36:55SPEAKER_00: He told us so many stories before we investigated there, and I think it terrified us.
- 37:15SPEAKER_00: So I woke up Tiffany.
- 37:16SPEAKER_00: I was like, Tiffany, will you walk with me in the bathroom?
- 37:21SPEAKER_00: It was so scary there.
- 37:22SPEAKER_00: I don't know why that place creeped us out so bad.
- 37:26SPEAKER_02: The reason I'm laughing is I I I think I can sleep anywhere.
- 37:29SPEAKER_02: Like sometimes it when it's late, I can fall asleep like while investigating, you know, if I'm comfy enough.
- 37:36SPEAKER_02: But uh, yeah, I'm like passed out at these places, and people are freaking out, like not able to sleep.
- 37:42SPEAKER_02: And I'm never, I'm just like, I'm tired, I don't care.
- 37:44SPEAKER_02: I'm going to bed.
- 37:45SPEAKER_00: Have you ever slept at the haunted places?
- 37:48SPEAKER_03: I usually not.
- 37:50SPEAKER_03: I mean, I've driven seven hours to the Shanley Hotel, investigated.
- 37:54SPEAKER_03: I think I took a 40-minute nap on some like terrible chair that had like rivets sticking in my leg and everything.
- 38:02SPEAKER_03: I drove seven hours back.
- 38:04SPEAKER_00: We do like to stay there because while we're sleeping, it's like you can continue with your equipment recording or yeah, trying to catch things.
- 38:14SPEAKER_03: I'll best get till four or five in the morning than drive home.
- 38:17SPEAKER_00: Yeah, they do we usually do unless it's pretty far, and then we'll just it's better if we can sleep there.
- 38:25SPEAKER_00: So when we went to post town, we slept there.
- 38:28SPEAKER_00: We're going to Beale Manor on the 6th of February, and we're sleeping there.
- 38:34SPEAKER_01: That's fun.
- 38:35SPEAKER_03: That's a good place.
- 38:36SPEAKER_00: Yeah, we're excited, we've never been there.
- 38:39SPEAKER_03: So, yeah, we we did a big trip last year, and it was six places in five nights.
- 38:44SPEAKER_01: Wow, wow.
- 38:47SPEAKER_03: Start off at Madison, drove down to Post Town, went to old hospital on College Hill.
- 38:52SPEAKER_03: I call six, it's really five, but then we drove to Ross House.
- 38:56SPEAKER_03: No, Bel Air House.
- 38:58SPEAKER_03: We stayed in a campground, and then we did Bel Air House.
- 39:01SPEAKER_03: The next night we did the Ross House at an antique store.
- 39:05SPEAKER_00: Wow.
- 39:06SPEAKER_03: So it was a drain.
- 39:07SPEAKER_03: We it was a 1990 RV that swayed like you're on a ship when you're driving those.
- 39:14SPEAKER_02: That sounds amazing, though.
- 39:16SPEAKER_03: Yeah, it was fun.
- 39:17SPEAKER_03: I mean, but Daryl was nice enough because we could not get our water working to shower, and there's six of us in this RV.
- 39:24SPEAKER_03: It's like, hey, we're gonna start stinking here sooner or later.
- 39:27SPEAKER_03: But he came out in the morning and there was like a tornado, it was a tornado watch coming over our phones, and he's in his golf cart.
- 39:36SPEAKER_03: I'm like, you know, there's a tornado watch.
- 39:38SPEAKER_03: He's like, No, that's not supposed to happen till this evening, don't worry about it.
- 39:41SPEAKER_03: I'm like, but it's on my phone, dude.
- 39:44SPEAKER_03: And you know, he's like, Oh, don't worry about it.
- 39:46SPEAKER_03: He's like, But if you gotta go and go wash up and stuff, I'll open everything up for you.
- 39:50SPEAKER_03: So really cool guy.
- 39:53SPEAKER_02: Thanks, Deb.
- 39:54SPEAKER_02: We're really excited.
- 39:55SPEAKER_02: We've never been to Bill Manor yet, so you'll have fun.
- 39:58SPEAKER_03: I mean, it's it's a cool place.
- 40:00SPEAKER_03: I that's my I took my brother there, just me and him for his first investigation.
- 40:05SPEAKER_02: It was oh, that's cool.
- 40:08SPEAKER_03: That's really awesome.
- 40:09SPEAKER_03: Yeah, I always say this to everybody because usually everybody have on just keep being you, keep having fun.
- 40:16SPEAKER_03: Because I am huge about making memories with family, with friends, because I say, you know, that's what that's all we have our memories.
- 40:25SPEAKER_03: People are like, Why are you going to the UK?
- 40:27SPEAKER_03: I mean, for doing this for so long, you live, you die.
- 40:30SPEAKER_00: So why not?
- 40:32SPEAKER_03: When I'm moving, I'm moving.
- 40:35SPEAKER_02: Yeah, that's one of my favorite things about our team is you know, you me and Rochelle were best friends in high school, and you go off to college, you have kids, you get married, and and life happens.
- 40:47SPEAKER_02: And she lives in Pittsburgh now, and I'm still in Johnstown, but I feel like it gives us another excuse to meet up.
- 40:54SPEAKER_02: Like we were always saying, like, you know, we're gonna have to get together soon, we're gonna have to make plans soon, and we would do things still, but I feel like the past few years having the team has like given us such great opportunities to spend more time together, and I love it.
- 41:10SPEAKER_00: I completely agree.
- 41:11SPEAKER_00: And I think, like you said, making memories, every single thing we do, it can be something very simple, or it can be this grand trip that we have planned.
- 41:21SPEAKER_00: But no matter what we do, I mean, we love it when it's our whole team together, but everything is just so funny for us and fun and memorable, and we love every single member of our team.
- 41:35SPEAKER_00: Everybody feels like family now, and we all mesh so well together, and we all laugh so well together, and just like for example, our team member Jess, the first time she investigated with us was at West Virginia Penitentiary, and she instantly bonded with us.
- 41:55SPEAKER_00: She was snuggling with Carly when the bats were coming around, and like it just like all of these moments, it's like everybody just becomes like family, and we all just love these memories and laugh together, and and sometimes you know, the world can can be a crazy place, but we do this crazy stuff together, and it and it is so fun, and it's just we get a thrill out of it.
- 42:22SPEAKER_00: It's like it fills our cup, is exactly the words.
- 42:26SPEAKER_00: It fills our cup being together and doing these things, meeting other people and collaborating and just talking.
- 42:33SPEAKER_00: It really been something that has become a huge part of our life and like family, and so that was our goal for creating this group.
- 42:45SPEAKER_00: Um, we wanted something where everybody that is a part of it can feel like it's their family.
- 42:54SPEAKER_03: So, no, I mean I think 30, 40 years, or how many years down the road, you know, Tiffany's gonna be serving you guys, you know, jello and pudding.
- 43:03SPEAKER_03: Yeah, and you're gonna be talking about your song, yeah.
- 43:06SPEAKER_01: Plain bingo, yeah.
- 43:10SPEAKER_03: So, I mean, it's it's all about those stories.
- 43:12SPEAKER_03: I mean, even like a song when you get to a place, that's something you guys are always gonna remember, yeah.
- 43:18SPEAKER_03: And it's always gonna be something you're gonna tell your kids or grandkids, whatever.
- 43:21SPEAKER_03: And oh, you know what grandma used to do, you know, and like, oh yeah, I used to ghost hunt.
- 43:26SPEAKER_03: What?
- 43:27SPEAKER_03: So I mean it's and you can tell stories.
- 43:29SPEAKER_00: I mean, it's it's what's about with the badass girl group team listening to corn in the nursing home.
- 43:39SPEAKER_00: We'll be getting in trouble, we always do.
- 43:42SPEAKER_00: Oh yeah.
- 43:44SPEAKER_03: No, that's I mean, that's what it's about.
- 43:46SPEAKER_03: I always say, you know, keep B and you because it's great.
- 43:49SPEAKER_02: I mean, yeah, and you see Ryan.
- 43:52SPEAKER_02: She's an activity aide at the nursing home I work at.
- 43:56SPEAKER_00: Only do it the right way though, Lexi.
- 43:58SPEAKER_02: Yes, because we know some of them ladies get mad.
- 44:02SPEAKER_00: Yeah, you keep B and you too, Ryan.
