- 0:11You are listening to the Hidden Lightness on America Out Loud Talk Radio.
- 0:14I'm your host Jimmy Hinton.
- 0:16Boy, are things heating up in cooled down New York City.
- 0:22Voters are having buyers remorse.
- 0:25They're uh coming out and protesting outside of Mamdani's residence, uh, shouting shame, shame.
- 0:37We advocated for you.
- 0:39We voted for you.
- 0:41You get up in here and lie to us.
- 0:44There is a lot going on in New York City, so buckle up, folks.
- 0:48We have a lot to talk about.
- 0:50There is good news in the midst of all of this, and we will certainly get to the hidden lightness.
- 0:57But for now, New York City is a mess.
- 1:02Literally.
- 1:03There's snow and trash and sewer rats and defecation.
- 1:13Literally everywhere.
- 1:16I couldn't believe when I saw the pictures and videos.
- 1:19There are lots and lots of pictures and videos.
- 1:23And people are outraged.
- 1:25Of course, outside of the mayor's mansion, it's perfectly clean.
- 1:32People spotted tons of of uh New York workers, city workers out there shoveling snow, um, cleaning up trash.
- 1:46They had a couple garbage trucks outside the mayor's mansion, and literally across the street, there are just mounds of trash and snow.
- 1:56I mean, as far as the eye can see people are walking and driving through New York City, and this is all of the boroughs, and it is a disaster.
- 2:07It looks like a war zone.
- 2:09Residents are saying that this is the worst that they've ever seen it.
- 2:13Longtime residents of New York City said we have never seen it this bad.
- 2:18They didn't even get that much snow.
- 2:21They got about 12 inches of snow, and we're talking 30 days in.
- 2:28Let's see, what has he unaccomplished?
- 2:31What has socialism unaccomplished so far?
- 2:35Well, he came out and said, Well, Eric, Eric Adams, uh, he racked up all this debt.
- 2:41You know, it's always the other person's fault.
- 2:45Man, Donnie says that New York City is sitting right now at a 12 billion dollar deficit.
- 2:53Well, I thought they I thought there was just all this free money everywhere.
- 2:59I thought he was going to provide free buses and free subways, free transportation, free housing, free groceries, government sponsored grocery stores.
- 3:13He promised all this.
- 3:16And literally, not even 30 days in, he came out saying, Well, we have a 12 billion dollar deficit, and quote, I don't know how we could be doing any better.
- 3:29In other words, he was criticized, and he said, I I don't I don't think I would do anything differently.
- 3:37This is unreal, folks.
- 3:39I have never seen anything like this.
- 3:42And I grew up, so uh, you know, a couple things.
- 3:45One, I live in the north.
- 3:48There is, uh, if you look this up, it's just verify it.
- 3:52Don't take my word for it.
- 3:54Pennsylvania built a super truck, a super plow, and they're testing it in my county.
- 4:03It's the only county, it's the only truck, it's the only super plow in the state of Pennsylvania.
- 4:09Well, the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, and they're trying it in my county only because of the amount of snowfall that we get.
- 4:18We get the most snowfall in the entire state, and that's where they're trying out this super plow on the turnpike.
- 4:27And uh I find it really interesting.
- 4:30I've been around snow my entire life, and we have to remove snow constantly.
- 4:35That's just part of life.
- 4:37We live out in the country, and it is a very different culture.
- 4:42I mean, very different.
- 4:43I'm looking at New York City and I'm like, man, there are people, elderly people climbing up over these walls of snow to get to the bus stop.
- 4:54Elderly women with canes, as people are are walking around them, they're falling down, crawling up these mountains of of snow.
- 5:04That wouldn't happen here in the country, folks.
- 5:07That would not ever happen here.
- 5:11People have gone out and uh shoveled neighbors' driveways.
- 5:16Happens every single snowstorm.
- 5:18People just help their neighbors out.
- 5:21And I can't believe in New York City, there's not like you don't see one person with a shovel.
- 5:28They're literally walking over elderly people who fall down.
- 5:33They're walking around them to get to the bus stops.
- 5:37It is a different culture.
- 5:39I'm not saying it's, you know, not judging people for living there.
- 5:44It's just it's very different.
- 5:45It is a very, very different culture, because that kind of stuff wouldn't fly here.
- 5:50It would not, that would not happen in the country.
- 5:54You're not gonna see stuff like that.
- 5:57And in my town, at three o'clock in the morning, I drove through town early on, and there was a road closed that I was gonna turn down, and I was like, what in the world's going on here?
- 6:07I looked up and I was like, oh, snow removal.
- 6:11They had a whole block shut off.
- 6:14It was barricaded, they had uh tons of equipment, front end loaders, tri-axle trucks, they're getting rid of the snow so that people can park.
- 6:24They're opening up sidewalks and parking spots and fire hydrants.
- 6:30That's what New York City used to do.
- 6:33Because when you're in in a compacted town or in a city, there is nowhere to put that snow.
- 6:41A foot of snow can be detrimental.
- 6:44Yeah, there's literally nowhere to put it when you're in a city.
- 6:48So plows, they shove it up onto these piles there, or they just keep plowing to get the roads open.
- 6:55That's their priority.
- 6:57And all that snow is spilling out the sides of the plow, and you wind up with a wall of snow, literally a wall of snow up against people's parked cars.
- 7:09Well, then the people come out and they're they're irate.
- 7:13They're like, what are these plow drivers doing?
- 7:16Well, they're doing their job.
- 7:20I plow snow as well.
- 7:21You you can't avoid getting snow up against people's vehicles.
- 7:29It's it's impossible.
- 7:32It pours into people's driveways.
- 7:34People shovel their driveways out, and then they get angry.
- 7:38I mean, absolutely irate at the plow drivers because they plow their driveways back shut.
- 7:45Well, I know where I live, I constantly have to open up the end of my driveway.
- 7:50Because the plow, every time the plow truck goes by, they dump tons of snow into the end of the driveway.
- 7:58That's just it is what it is.
- 8:01And when you live in the north, you just have to deal with it.
- 8:06But I've never seen anything like this in my life.
- 8:08I mean, I have never seen images like her coming out of New York.
- 8:12And I used to haul trash out of New York City five days a week for several years.
- 8:21Over the summers, I'd go to transfer stations right in the heart of New York City.
- 8:26And let me tell you, it doesn't take long at all for this trash to get nasty.
- 8:33I'd pull into the transfer stations.
- 8:35I I I always I was a night owl, so I like to travel at night, and I'd pull into the transfer stations, and they they'd be closed at night, but you could still get in.
- 8:47Yeah, it was it was fenced in.
- 8:49You could get inside at least the transfer station that I went to, the one that I most often went to.
- 8:55You could go in, you could pull inside, and you, you know, if you had a preloaded trailer that was already sitting up there, you could do a drop and hook, you drop your empty hook into the loaded, but then you had to tarp it.
- 9:08So you'd pull inside of the transfer station where all the trash is.
- 9:12You want to talk about sewer rats like you've never seen before.
- 9:16I mean hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of sewer rats, big sewer rats, the size of a shihtsu.
- 9:23I mean, these things are monsters.
- 9:26They'd be crawling all over my truck.
- 9:29I'd have them on the windshield, up on the hood.
- 9:32I mean, instantly, as soon as I pulled in, these these sewer rats were everywhere.
- 9:37New York City trash is nasty.
- 9:41I mean, it's ripe.
- 9:43The kinds of stuff that they put into their trash, it ain't sanitary.
- 9:49You know, they call them sanitation workers.
- 9:52There is nothing sanitary about this stuff.
- 9:55New York City trash is nasty.
- 9:59And
- 10:00Not to be graphic or anything, but people routinely pee into bottles.
- 10:05They uh they poop and wrap that stuff up and put it in the trash.
- 10:11Uh just all kinds of just the grossest stuff that you could possibly imagine.
- 10:16It is vile.
- 10:18New York City trash is vile.
- 10:22And that's from experience.
- 10:23That's I'm not saying that to be rude to New Yorkers.
- 10:28It's just nasty.
- 10:31So there's this trash laying around.
- 10:33And uh I'm gonna read some of the quotes from people.
- 10:36This is a New York New York Post article.
- 10:39And uh this just published February 1st, so it's it's recent.
- 10:44The title of the article is Mayor Mamdanny's Gracie Mansion, noticeably trash free as UES neighbors drown in eight foot piles of garbage.
- 10:56That's not an exaggerator.
- 10:58Exaggeration.
- 10:59These piles are literally eight feet and higher.
- 11:03And they're sitting on top of piles of snow.
- 11:06So what's interesting is number one, the trash companies can't get to the trash because of where it's located.
- 11:15That's why it's piling up.
- 11:17You have a week's worth of trash that's piled up eight feet or higher, sitting on top of snow.
- 11:25The city can't remove the snow.
- 11:28How are they gonna remove that snow when there's these huge mountains of trash on top of it?
- 11:35It's a disaster.
- 11:38I'll read a little bit here.
- 11:40Mayor May, I like how it starts.
- 11:42Mayor Mamdoni's New York has become the city that never sweeps.
- 11:52Oh, it's so sad.
- 11:54Eight foot high piles of rat infested trash are choking the streets around Gracie Mansion.
- 12:02While his owner's new home has gotten the white glove shoveling treatment.
- 12:09Mamdoni is meanwhile crowd uh crowed that he can't imagine how it could get better in the city.
- 12:17Even as more and more New Yorkers are blasting the lack of collectivism in the big apple.
- 12:25East End neighbors are being forced to trudge through garbage plagued streets.
- 12:30Rodents are found everywhere, mounds of snow just piled up dog high.
- 12:35Uh piled up mountain high.
- 12:42Animals peeing and pooping all over snow piles, people peeing all over over snow piles.
- 12:50This was winter storm fern, which made its impact on New York City.
- 12:55It definitely made an impact.
- 12:58I mean, this is this is like living in the North 101.
- 13:04Is that when you know that you're having a storm coming?
- 13:06This storm was not a surprise.
- 13:09They were talking about this storm for at least a week, if not longer.
- 13:16And they knew exactly the path that the storm was going to go.
- 13:18This was like textbook.
- 13:21The storm went exactly where and how they predicted.
- 13:26There were no surprises with this storm.
- 13:28This was not a pop-up storm.
- 13:31Zero surprises.
- 13:34Living in the North 101 says that you have crews lined up, ready to go.
- 13:40You have all the funding.
- 13:41You you declare an emergency beforehand, and you have trucks lined up.
- 13:48I mean, literally lined up as far as the eye can see.
- 13:51And believe me, the pay is nice.
- 13:56The pay is very nice, and people will happily volunteer and bring their trucks up there, and they'll line them up.
- 14:04These kinds of contracts pay really well.
- 14:08But none of that happened.
- 14:11You know, you prepare to remove the snow as it's coming down, and you do that at night.
- 14:16You do it when the city sleeps.
- 14:20None of that happened.
- 14:21They didn't remove any of the snow.
- 14:24And uh it created not only a disaster, not only a sanitation disaster, but an emergency disaster too.
- 14:35Emergency vehicles will read some of that too.
- 14:38Uh, EMTs can't get to hospitals because streets are blocked, they can't get to the patients.
- 14:46It's a disaster.
- 14:49Here's somebody who said, I could I couldn't believe it when I saw yesterday a whole army of sanitation workers plowing and shoveling every bit of snow off that sidewalk or off that side of the street.
- 15:02That was local Nick Rivers who said that.
- 15:07He's looking at the the mayor's residence.
- 15:10He's like, I couldn't believe it.
- 15:14Listen to what he said.
- 15:15Clean as a whistle for the mayor.
- 15:18Look at this side.
- 15:20This side is marred by massive piles of garbage as high as six feet that have been building for days and attracting rats.
- 15:30Even as Mamdoni late last week patted himself on the back, claiming he's keeping things on track.
- 15:36You remember the video of him out there uh, you know, he's with his snow shovel.
- 15:43Yeah, we're taking care of New Yorkers.
- 15:49What?
- 15:50A train wreck.
- 15:54Yeah, him with his little snow shovel shoveling a couple flakes of of snow.
- 16:00Meanwhile, New Yorkers are absolutely buried.
- 16:03He doesn't know a thing about snow removal.
- 16:07I mean, this guy's so far, he's so far over his head, just absolutely unbelievable.
- 16:13And I really feel for New Yorkers.
- 16:16I mean, they have to deal with this kind of garbage, but they voted for him, so I guess the saying is true.
- 16:24You get what you voted for.
- 16:27I mean, it's sad.
- 16:28Half of the people voted for him, the other half didn't.
- 16:31And yet everybody gets stuck with it.
- 16:35Everybody in New York is stuck with this kind of garbage.
- 16:38Literal garbage.
- 16:41So here's what Mam Donnie said on Friday.
- 16:44He said, I'm new to the job.
- 16:46Who cares?
- 16:48Good for you.
- 16:50I know the burdens will get heavier, but right now I struggle to imagine how it could be better.
- 16:56You know, in other words, back off.
- 16:59Leave me alone.
- 16:59I'm new to the job.
- 17:00I'm I'm I'm doing the best I can do.

- 19:54New York City is in big trouble in more ways than one.
- 19:58Mayor Mamdan.
- 20:00He uh boy, he's doing a number on that city.
- 20:04And you gotta give the guy credit because he did this in 30 days.
- 20:09I mean, if if you're gonna be a socialist and absolutely destroy an entire city, like if you're gonna wreck the city, a lot of people do that over time.
- 20:19You know, it takes some time to really screw up this bad.
- 20:23But for him, he proved in 30 days what many of us already knew that socialism does not work.
- 20:33That when you mess around with socialism, it really hurts people.
- 20:40In fact, people die.
- 20:42There have already been 16 confirmed deaths.
- 20:45Let's just look at some of the quote accomplishments of Mam Donny.
- 20:51You know, uh Mam Donnie, who's good buddies with uh Epstein.
- 20:59Oh, yeah, Mam Donnie's mom is all through the Epstein files, but you don't hear the left screaming about that, nor do you hear them or see them protesting in New York City that 16 confirmed deaths happened under Mam Donnie's watch.
- 21:14They froze to death, literally.
- 21:18There are no protests.
- 21:21Nobody's out there protesting, talking about how valuable life is, and you know, we had two people killed by ice officers.
- 21:28Tragic, they were tragic.
- 21:30Let's all take a minute and acknowledge that.
- 21:34But there are literal riots in cities all over America right now.
- 21:41Because there were two people who died under ICE's watch.
- 21:47Mamdoni is responsible for 16 deaths, and that's just from from people who froze to death.
- 21:57It's not to mention all the other crap that's going on in New York City.
- 22:02But at any rate, uh, here we go.
- 22:05Here's an article.
- 22:07This is Fox 5, New York.
- 22:10And here's the article.
- 22:1216 people die from cold in New York City.
- 22:15Code blue remains in effect.
- 22:1916 people have died over the past two weeks.
- 22:22More than a dozen of those deaths were related to hypothermia.
- 22:28Uh this is unreal.
- 22:32He knew that the storm was coming.
- 22:34He knew that the temperatures were going to be extreme.
- 22:38And word is on the street that he didn't do a whole lot to get these people in shelters.
- 22:43But, you know, he's he's new.
- 22:46He's a new mayor, so uh he doesn't see how things could be any better.
- 22:52Uh this is unreal.
- 22:54A code blue is still in effect in New York City.
- 22:58It's an emergency procedure activated when temperatures drop to 32 degrees to protect vulnerable people from extreme life-threatening cold.
- 23:08Temperatures in New York City have dropped well below freezing for 10 days in a row.
- 23:15Wind chills making it into single digits below zero.
- 23:20Um this is terrible.
- 23:26Crews in Brooklyn are working nonstop to restore power after thousands of customers lost electricity due to weather-related equipment damage earlier this week.
- 23:39Um as snow melts and road salt damages equipment, that equals power outages.
- 23:48But at the same time, you have 16 dead people.
- 23:52It's very unfortunate.
- 23:56Oh, let's see, what else?
- 23:58Oh, yeah, the rats that are literally chewing their way through massive heaps of garbage.
- 24:04We already mentioned that.
- 24:07Live rats everywhere taking over New York City.
- 24:11We have piles of snow piled up as high as 10, 15 feet.
- 24:18There's nowhere to put the snow.
- 24:20I watched a special a little bit ago about uh people talking about this issue of snow mounted everywhere.
- 24:27People can't get even to the bus stops.
- 24:31And they don't know who's supposed to who's supposed to remove it.
- 24:36Yeah, there's this mass confusion over who's supposed to clean the snow, and uh nobody really knows.
- 24:44Nobody's taking responsibility.
- 24:46So the city comes back and says, well, it's up to the closest business to the bus stops, it's their responsibility.
- 24:54The businesses are saying it's it's not our bus stop.
- 25:00They're saying it's the city's job.
- 25:03Well, then other people are saying it's the sanitation department's job.
- 25:08So everybody's pointing fingers, and nobody knows.
- 25:12Is this the first time it's ever snowed in New York City?
- 25:16I mean, the city is as old as our our nation.
- 25:20And they don't have a clue how to remove snow.
- 25:23I mean, it's it's literally they're acting like it's the first time they've ever gotten snow, and this is only one foot of snow.
- 25:30It's not that big of a deal.
- 25:33I mean, it's it's still a lot of snow when you know it's gonna pile up.
- 25:39But you have to be proactive.
- 25:40You have to stay on top of it.
- 25:43And they didn't do that.
- 25:44So, as I said, residents are saying this is the worst that they've ever seen in their lifetime.
- 25:49Here's another article, New York Post.
- 25:52New York City EMT's hospitals plagued by massive piles of weak old snow, thwarting emergency response.
- 26:01Quote, it's been a mess.
- 26:03Huh, you think massive snowpiles were clogging up streets near Big Apple hospitals more than a week after the deadly storm fern created dangerous obstacles for emergency responders.
- 26:19Several EMS workers at New York Presby and um Will Cornell Medical Center on Monday said that they're having serious trouble maneuvering between snowy mountains.
- 26:30The post reporter observed at least six ambulances with their sirens going stuck in gridlock traffic along York Avenue.
- 26:40Well, that's promising.
- 26:43You know, when seconds count, we're only hours away now.
- 26:47It used to be we're only minutes away.
- 26:49Now now they may as well say when seconds count, we're only hours away.
- 26:55Here's another quote here.
- 26:59Somebody who's been an EMT of 10 years said, This is one of the worst snow removals that I've seen.
- 27:06It's been a while since we've had this amount of snow, but it's affecting the traffic.
- 27:12The snowpiles along the street, the double parking of cars, plus the buses that can't pull into their stops, it makes it difficult to get to get around.
- 27:24Somebody else who's been an EMT for nine years agreed.
- 27:29Said, yeah, it's been a mess on a street.
- 27:31It's hard for us to maneuver the stretchers through the snow.
- 27:36It's ridiculous.
- 27:37You can't get passengers out on top of piles of snow.
- 27:40That was an access A ride driver.
- 27:46Uh on and on to go.
- 27:48I mean, this article just goes on and on and on.
- 27:50You can't go anywhere.
- 27:52It's nearly impossible.
- 27:54And we're on our way to a call right now.
- 27:58Then the first responder said, in other countries, they actually take the snow off the ground.
- 28:03Here we just push it to the side.
- 28:06Well, in New York City, they push it to the side and other cities.
- 28:10It's not other countries.
- 28:13It's here in the United States.
- 28:15I see it all over the place.
- 28:16We remove the snow.
- 28:18When you get a significant amount, DC does it.
- 28:22Baltimore does it.
- 28:24I guarantee they're digging out right now from this uh last storm that they got.
- 28:31You know, they remove the snow, they get rid of it, they dump it in the rivers before it becomes a problem.
- 28:38Not in New York City.
- 28:41Not under uh Mayor Mamdanny.
- 28:45Rick, a 69-year-old patient who took the city's free access a ride service to the hospital, said it took him nearly an hour to get to Will Cornell.
- 28:57And he only lives 20 blocks away.
- 29:01I told him to let me out in the middle of the street closest to the crosswalk because there's no other way to get to the sidewalk.
- 29:10I mean, on and on and on it goes.
- 29:14City sanitation now has these gigantic snow melters.
- 29:21They're dumping snow into these machines that melts it, turns it to water, and they dump it down the storm drains.
- 29:28But again, it's still it's a big issue because there's so much trash.
- 29:34They can't get to all the snow.
- 29:37It's a disaster.
- 29:39Here, this article addresses exactly what I was just talking about.
- 29:43This is Councilman Frank Morano.
- 29:46He said in too many cases, the agencies were bouncing responsibility back and forth while residents waited for hazardous conditions to be addressed.
- 29:55In other words, yeah, we're just pointing fingers.
- 29:59No, no.
- 30:00Nobody's taking responsibility for whose job it is to actually remove the snow.
- 30:03This shouldn't be that complicated.
- 30:06It really isn't that difficult.
- 30:11Absolutely crazy.
- 30:13So councilman Frank Morano wrote that in a letter to Mayor Mamdanny, saying that he wants a streamlined map of responsible parties.
- 30:25Update your map.
- 30:26Show us who's responsible.
- 30:27Who's responsible for what?
- 30:30This is in another article that I'll get to, but residents are being fined for shoveling snow.
- 30:38You heard that, right?
- 30:40They're being fined whether they shovel or not.
- 30:44If they don't shovel, they're being fined.
- 30:46The owners of buildings are being fined for not removing the snow.
- 30:51If they remove the snow and it falls into the street, which it's going to because there's nowhere to put it.
- 31:00Trust me.
- 31:02These mountains of snow.
- 31:06As they go up, they come to a point, and that's only at about four feet high.
- 31:14And once you get so high, it just everything you put on top, it just falls down the sides, and it goes back out into the street.
- 31:22So now they're issuing fines if people are, quote, illegally putting snow back out into the street.
- 31:29Well, there's nowhere to put it.
- 31:32That's the problem.
- 31:35You know, they can they can dig um pathways.
- 31:38That's what I was talking about earlier.
- 31:40This kind of stuff wouldn't fly out in the country.
- 31:44You know, it's a the they ought to shovel a little narrow path so that people don't have to climb mountains to get on the bus.
- 31:54And that's the other issue, too.
- 31:56You have handicapped people, people that are uh wheelbearer wheelchair bound, who they can't even get to the bus stops, let alone get on the bus.
- 32:08It is an absolute nightmare.
- 32:11So, yeah, the councilman's saying, hey, you know, we need an updated map of who's responsible.
- 32:18He went on to say it's it's not a personnel issue.
- 32:22It's a systems issue.
- 32:24In other words, we have the personnel.
- 32:26We have the people to remove it.
- 32:29But the system is absolutely broken.
- 32:34Sanitation workers are were continuing to work 12 hour shifts to quote continue to remove snow to break up big ridges to haul it away to massive snow melters.
- 32:47Property owners must do their part.
- 32:50That was a DSNY spokesperson talking to the post.
- 32:57Just crazy.
- 32:58Uh, as of 7 a.m.
- 33:00Monday of this week, DSNY wrote 1,900 summons to property owners for failure to clear snow and ice from a sidewalk.
- 33:11Where are they gonna put it?
- 33:14And about 50 for illegally throwing snow back into the street or into a bike lane.
- 33:20There is nowhere to put the snow, it needs to be removed.
- 33:26Yeah, this is wild.
- 33:29But the the trash is the one that really gets me.
- 33:34So uh back to the original article that I shared.
- 33:38This one's fascinating.
- 33:39This is also a New York Post article.
- 33:44Um people are saying I, you know, I couldn't believe it.
- 33:49When I saw yesterday, this was Nick Rivers, this whole army of sanitation workers cleaning out the mayor's mansion.
- 33:58But literally across the street, there's this mountain of trash and snow.
- 34:04Lots of other people reporting the same thing, saying that we've never seen it this bad.
- 34:13Um another resident said this.
- 34:17Don't get me started.
- 34:19I think his wife, that's Mandoni's wife.
- 34:22I think his wife must have complained about the pea in the snow.
- 34:26I don't even look when I come out of the building.
- 34:29It's gross.
- 34:30The rats are inside the recycling bags.
- 34:34Another local said, my street is lined with bags, many of them opened with crap all over the street.
- 34:39That's what I'm talking about.
- 34:41I didn't even read this article.
- 34:42I can tell you, I'm I I hauled trash for years out of New York City.
- 34:46It's what they do.
- 34:47I don't, I never understood.
- 34:50I I don't get it.
- 34:52Why you poop and put that inside of a trash bag?
- 34:55I just I don't get it.
- 34:57I don't understand it.
- 34:59Uh is this people who have slum lords.
- 35:05You know, the toilets broken, so they just poop in in garbage bags.
- 35:10I don't, I don't get it, but I'm telling you, every single day that I hold trash, there was fecal matter everywhere.
- 35:18Everywhere, and the smell, you can't mistake the smell.
- 35:23So another local said, My uh, you know, uh, this was the same one.
- 35:28My streets lined with bags, many of them opened with crap all over the street.
- 35:32My daughter had to dodge a used sanitary sanitary pad.
- 35:39Um another resident said, uh, New York City put a photo with a mountain of trash bags on on the city sidewalk.
- 35:49There are more and more.
- 35:51Lots more.
- 35:52Uh, ma'am Donnie in his inauguration speech.
- 35:57He urged New Yorkers to replace the frigidity of rugged individualism with the warmth of collectivism.
- 36:05Uh, how's that collectivism working for you there, ma'am?
- 36:07Donnie.
- 36:08How's it working for your residents?
- 36:10As he said in your cleaned up mansion, your your sparkling white mansion with literal heaps of trash all over the city and literally right across the street from you.
- 36:22You know the disease, the amount of disease that's just festering with all this trash would replace the frigidity of rugged individualism with the warmth of collectivism.
- 36:35TV's will and grace star Deborah Messing.
- 36:39She's a Brooklyn native.
- 36:42Currently living in the city.
- 36:45She was griping about uh how all the snow is it's impeding traffic.
- 36:53She wrote this.
- 36:54Sitting in a taxi trying to get to an appointment should take 20 minutes.
- 36:58We are at an hour and 10 minutes and counting.
- 37:02I can't imagine the tempers right now in New York City.
- 37:07She went on to say the streets are a disaster.
- 37:10It hasn't snowed in five days, and the streets still haven't been cleared.
- 37:15Poor ambulance sitting in essentially a parking lot with sirens going.
- 37:19I'm praying for the person needing emergency care.
- 37:23She went on.
- 37:24I've lived here for 15 years.
- 37:28This go around.
- 37:30And this has never happened.
- 37:33The plows have always worked around the clock to get the city back to working.
- 37:38I'm wondering what happened with a question mark.
- 37:41Hang in there, New Yorkers.
- 37:42I know it happened.
- 37:44What do you think happened?
- 37:47Well, we're up on another break, a hard break here.

- 39:00Well, did you see Google quietly updated AI principles removing its pledge not to use AI for weapons or surveillance?
- 39:09A promise they agree to in 2018.
- 39:12Well, the American people have seen Google's track record.
- 39:16Is Google and untrustworthy player in the AI race.
- 39:25Now is our time, my fellow America upload.
- 39:32And justice for all.
- 39:46I mean, just everything wrong.
- 39:48And uh it's no surprises, no shock.
- 39:51We've been worn about that.
- 39:52I warned about this.
- 39:53I said this is not gonna end well for New York City.
- 39:58I didn't know it would only take 30.
- 40:00Days.
- 40:00I mean, we've got to give Mam Donnie credit for letting the city crash and burn that quickly.
- 40:07That's impressive.
- 40:09I mean, it's like you have to work overtime to make it fall apart this quickly.
- 40:14And it's sad for the residents.
- 40:16It really is.
- 40:16I'm not making fun here.
- 40:18I'm making fun of him.
- 40:21But I'm not making fun of the people of New York.
- 40:24It stinks for them.
- 40:25It's um literally stinks for them with all this trash laying around.
- 40:29They're just in a really bad position.
- 40:32And I wish people would quit falling for this crap.
- 40:36That socialism saves that that's the answer.
- 40:38You know, the Boiney Sanders.
- 40:41I'm a proud socialist.
- 40:45Thank God.
- 40:48Thank God that that man was never in charge of our nation.
- 40:53I mean, can you imagine?
- 40:56If he had won the presidency, if Boine Sanders had won the presidency and implemented his socialist agenda.
- 41:04Look at look at the damage that Obama did in eight years.
- 41:10Oh, he was the he was a great president.
- 41:13He was so graceful and he was so eloquent.
- 41:16Well, one question for all of you.
- 41:19For everybody who has health insurance right now.
- 41:24How's that working out for you?
- 41:28You know, that whole idea was the socialist idea that the government's going to take care of you.
- 41:34We've got you.
- 41:35We've got your back.
- 41:36We're here for you.
- 41:40Now it's it just does not work.
- 41:44It can't work.
- 41:44There's not enough money.
- 41:46There's too much waste.
- 41:48You're literally dependent on the government.
- 41:51The government shut down.
- 41:52Everybody was panicking because they weren't sure how they were going to pay their next health care premium.
- 42:00Why?
- 42:01Because they're dependent on the government.
- 42:05The government, at any time when they're in charge of anything, they can screw you over in a heartbeat.
- 42:11And they will.
- 42:13Look at New York City.
- 42:14You think you think Mamdanny cares?
- 42:18You think he cares that millions of people are crippled?
- 42:22They can't go to work.
- 42:26People in wheelchairs can't go to doctor's appointments because they can't make it to the bus.
- 42:32Do you think he's wringing his hands, losing sleep?
- 42:34No.
- 42:35What's he doing?
- 42:37This is how socialism works.
- 42:40He's in his mansion, literally that he had crews working around the clock to clean up.
- 42:46It's spotless.
- 42:47The snow is gone, the trash is gone.
- 42:51He's in his mansion enjoying life while literally across the street, there's a mountain of trash.
- 43:05So I'm gonna read a little bit more.
- 43:08I mean, this is just never ending.
- 43:10And this is only a small sampling.
- 43:11These are just reporters walking the streets talking to random people.
- 43:18Stephen Miller commented on Messing's tweet.
- 43:21She's like, you know, I wonder what happened.
- 43:23Hang in there, New Yorkers.
- 43:26She's in a taxi for an hour and a half for a drive that should take 20 minutes.
- 43:32Still not there, as she's tweeting.
- 43:36So Stephen Miller commented he goes, yeah, the collective is warming up.
- 43:43So you have the botched cleanup, the lack of snow removal, the trash everywhere.
- 43:48Homeless people dying like crazy.
- 43:53It's insane.
- 43:56So about 2500 sanitation workers are putting 12 hour shifts in to shovel bus stops, crosswalks, fire hydrants.
- 44:07But they say it's put garbage pickups a day behind schedule.
- 44:11This is not one day worth of trash.
- 44:13What I'm looking at, that is not one day of trash.
- 44:16There are mountains of trash.
- 44:19I mean, as far as the eye can see, it looks like a third world nation.
- 44:24It is crazy.
- 44:29Um, so the statement from the mayor's office, we're prioritizing trash and composting.
- 44:37Stuff gets gross over recyclables.
- 44:43So they're saying, well, we're, you know, the the trash and the composting stuff, we're picking that up over recyclables.
- 44:53So the trash you're seeing, that's that's just recyclables.
- 44:56You know, the other stuff gets gross.
- 44:57So the stuff that doesn't, the paper, cardboard, that kind of stuff.
- 45:01We're, you know, we'll get to that.
- 45:04But that's not at all true.
- 45:07Absolutely 100% not true.
- 45:11So then they went on to say most New Yorkers were will recall that this is standard practice during and after winter weather events.
- 45:20No, it's not.
- 45:24This is anything but standard.
- 45:28And the and the residents are saying it.
- 45:32You know, it said that uh these statements did little to appease folks, forced to live with the mess.
- 45:40New Yorker Josh Tepper said it's the most vile thing.
- 45:47He uh lives on it on a top floor overlooking the Gracie mansion from his apartment.
- 45:54He said, I think it's the worst in New York history.
- 45:59Huh?
- 46:00Seems like a common thread.
- 46:02A lot of people are saying that.
- 46:03We've never seen it this bad.
- 46:07He said, uh, you know, this New Yorker Josh Tepper, he went on to say, his one strip, that is Mam Donnie's, his one strip is nice, but where all the civilians live, it's a complete disaster.
- 46:20The socialist king gets to have a clean driveway.
- 46:23It just makes me enraged.
- 46:27Other people agreed.
- 46:29East Cider Frederick Rady said it's very dirty.
- 46:34Actually, we have people visiting, and it's a little embarrassing.
- 46:39President Chris Kendall called the situation very concerning.
- 46:44They usually pick up the recycle on a Monday, so it's almost been a week.
- 46:50Huh, that's funny.
- 46:51Uh Mandani's office put a statement out saying the trash is one day behind.
- 46:56You know, bear with us, the trash pickup is one day behind.
- 47:00Told you that's not a day's worth of trash.
- 47:04There are mountains of trash everywhere you look.
- 47:10Um he goes on, he says, I don't know why they can't pick it up.
- 47:14I mean, buses are still running and the city is still operating.
- 47:18So I'm not sure why they're not able to reduce some of the garbage on the streets.
- 47:24Huh.
- 47:27Another neighbor said in in the Bronx.
- 47:30Every time it snows, it gets worse.
- 47:35Like uh down the block by the courthouse, they clean that up.
- 47:41You know, they make the courthouse look nice.
- 47:43They they make the mayor's mansion look nice, but everywhere else, it's just it's trash.
- 47:53So, yeah, crazy stuff.
- 47:55This is this is wild.
- 47:56It's getting very wild, but it's predictable, and that's the sad thing.
- 48:02It's so so predictable, unreal.
- 48:07Socialism does not work.
- 48:10But you know, it's interesting to me because it's a socialist who want to talk down to everybody else and talk about how bad the billionaires are.
- 48:19They take advantage of people.
- 48:22Yeah, they're ripping you off, and we're here to protect you.
- 48:25We're here to take from, we're we're gonna take from the rich in the form of tax, and we're gonna give it back to you, the people.
- 48:36How's that working out for you, New York?
- 48:40I mean, you guys voted for them.
- 48:45How's that working out for you?
- 48:51Doesn't work.
- 48:53It never has.
- 48:56And that's why conservatives rightly say we need less government, not more.
- 49:04The less governments involved in our lives, the better off we are.
- 49:10Every single time we become dependent on the government, you have the next government shutdown.
- 49:18You have Doge.
- 49:22Right?
- 49:24Trimming all the fat.
- 49:26All these programs that people became so dependent on, they just started getting cut.
- 49:33And then people are out, they're outraged at the government.
- 49:36They're like, how dare you?
- 49:41Yeah, it it's it's it's crazy.
- 49:43It's crazy, crazy, crazy.
- 49:45So, ma'am Donnie.
- 49:46Uh, this is really interesting.
- 49:48This is a Times of India article here.
- 49:55Quote, we know about your mom.
- 49:58Zaron Mamdan.
- 50:00Donnie faces heat over Epstein Row.
- 50:03Supporters heckle New York City mayor at home.
- 50:07He was heckled by voters outside Gracie Mansion, the place where he resides over the newly released U.S.
- 50:17DOJ, Jeffrey Epstein related records that mention his mother.
- 50:22Maria Nair.
- 50:26Videos show New York City residents gather outside Mamdanny's home, speaking into a megaphone and constantly yelling, shame, shame.
- 50:38And these are his voters.
- 50:40Listen to this.
- 50:49We advocated for you.
- 50:51So this is what I mean.
- 50:54They turn on their own instantly in a heartbeat.
- 50:59Because it's all they know how to do.
- 51:03There are no policies.
- 51:04There are no plans.
- 51:06There are no goals.
- 51:10Tax the rich, villainize people, point fingers at people, and that's all they know how to do.
- 51:18They've created a whole class of bullies.
- 51:22Right?
- 51:23Imagine kids at school.
- 51:24All they know how to do is just constantly talk trash about their their classmates, about their peers.
- 51:30Fascist, Nazi.
- 51:34You're you're terrible.
- 51:35You're a terrible person.
- 51:36You're immoral.
- 51:37You're awful.
- 51:40You're the worst.
- 51:43You know, throwing themselves down and screaming, blowing whistles.
- 51:47Can you imagine a room full of kindergartners like that?
- 51:51Well, it's basically what we have, except they're not kindergarteners, they're adults now.
- 51:57But this is what the Democratic Party has produced.
- 52:02And now they're they're protesting the very guy that they put into office 30 days in.
- 52:11It's wild.
- 52:12I mean, what did you people expect?
- 52:16Huh.
- 52:18You ain't getting nothing.
- 52:20Get up in here and you lie to us.
- 52:22You lied, Zaron.
- 52:24Shame, Zaron.
- 52:26That's what they're yelling into megaphones.
- 52:28That's a direct quote.
- 52:32Crazy.
- 52:35Um.
- 52:37Yeah, this uh Mamdanny's mom is all through these files.
- 52:42All over them.
- 52:43She was pictures of her with uh you know, being all buddy buddy with Epstein.
- 52:50Absolutely crazy.
- 52:53And they're a lot.
- 52:54Jay-Z.
- 52:55Yeah, it's rumored that Beyonce is filing for divorce.
- 52:59He's all through it.
- 53:01Everywhere.
- 53:03So on and on, it's you know, it's really blown up on the left because they wanted Trump so bad.
- 53:08They they were they were desperate, they were drooling because they just knew that they had him.
- 53:16It turns out that literally every time that he shows up in these files, people have dug through them.
- 53:23Now, not everything yet, because it's three and a half million pages.
- 53:29But people have dug through, and they found literally every time that Trump shows up, it's discredited people, it's uh people that needed mental evaluations, uh, ordered by the court.
- 53:44You know, those are the people making mild accusations.
- 53:50But then you have a lot of people on the left.
- 53:52I mean, Bill Gates, my goodness, the kind of dirt.
- 53:56I'll bet you he's extremely nervous right now.
- 54:01And so these people ought to be brought to justice.
- 54:04I mean, I'm a hundred percent for that.
- 54:07Whoever's in these files, I don't care who it is.
- 54:09You know, if if they were doing illegal activity, 100%.
- 54:13I don't care what political party they belong to, let justice prevail.
- 54:19But boy, is it getting wild out there?
- 54:21Well, uh, the good news is that we have control over what we do, right?
- 54:28We have somewhat of control.
- 54:31And this is what I talk about all the time.
- 54:33It's you know, we do what we have control of, and you don't worry about the rest.
- 54:38I I don't like depending on the government.
- 54:42Uh, I don't like waiting for the next government handout.
- 54:46Uh, so we gotta take control of our own lives.
- 54:49And I've teased this for a while now, but uh my newest book finally came out.
- 54:55I'll link to it.
- 54:57It'll be in the uh the author store as well.
- 55:00We have a list of books that those of us who uh host shows we've written.
- 55:06Uh, there's quite a collection there.
- 55:08But it's called Tithing Your Time, Treasure and Talent: A Practical Guide to Biblical Budgeting and Investing.
- 55:15It's a super quick read.
- 55:17Uh, it's it's to help people who make a very mediocre income.
- 55:22My wife and I make I mean very, very modest incomes.
- 55:27We get no benefits whatsoever.
- 55:30Zero.
- 55:31And we're building wealth.
- 55:33We have a paid-for home.
- 55:35Uh, we budget very aggressively, we invest very aggressively, and uh, we're on the fast track to retire super early.
- 55:46It can be done.
- 55:48And we've got to get control of the things that we can control in our own lives.
- 55:53We have to.
- 55:55Because so many Americans right now are just waiting for the government to show up and to give them the next handout.
- 56:02And it doesn't work that way.
- 56:05It can't work that way.
- 56:07It shouldn't work that way.
- 56:10So we have the responsibility to tithe our time, get control of our time, get control of the treasure that God's given us, the things he's blessed us with, you know, and our our money and our talent.
- 56:26You know, the gifts and abilities that God's given us, we've got to give the first fruits of that back to God.
- 56:32We've got to be giving in the way that we spend our time with other people.
- 56:37Uh, that's what this show is all about.
- 56:40It's about blessing other people, letting your hidden lightness shine, and just getting out on the streets and and rolling up your sleeves and helping your neighbor.
- 56:49And when we do that, the world becomes a much more beautiful place, and it doesn't look like New York City right now.
- 56:56And uh, you know, let's pray for New York City.
- 56:59It's uh such a mess.
- 57:03Well, there you have it.
- 57:04You can find more out about my show and get all the latest podcasts if you go to the menu navigation bar at America Outloud.news under our shows or schedule.
- 57:12You'll be in the know.
- 57:13There is a hidden lightness that shines inside of all of us.
- 57:16When so much darkness envelops the world, remember that it doesn't take much light to expose that darkness and to ultimately inspire other people.
- 57:23Join me in being a light.
