  SPEAKER_00: Hi, uh so I've been asked to um sort of give a testimony um and kind of my story uh stumbling upon uh some Catholic guys here in Wheaton um and you know, Claymore and Jack Rigert uh and company.

  SPEAKER_00: Um you know, first of all, I I moved to Wheaton just kind of randomly for work um and just later found out, you know, uh, number one per churches per capita, and you know, the a lot of people of faith here and Catholics uh in particular, and um in comparison at least to a lot of other towns and regions in the states.

  SPEAKER_00: And um so that was kind of like a coincidence in itself, and I I just sort of have come to know that God will speak to you in in coincidences to the point where the coincidence becomes less and less of a coincidence to to the point where you know it's him with his hand working in your life.

  SPEAKER_00: I mean, I I'd love someone to just do the math and all these probabilities, but because then in in the fall of 2025, since I moved here too, um, you know, I I've discovered kind of the rediscovered the power of prayer.

  SPEAKER_00: And um, you know, I had, for example, I'll start this off by saying, you know, I I had this thought one day in September, like, you know, I really want to go back to church, and um, you know, I really really just do that and and and get back into the faith, the Catholic faith.

  SPEAKER_00: And, you know, I called my mom and we were talking, and I casually brought that up, and she was like bamboozled.

  SPEAKER_00: She was so surprised that I and kind of taken off guard that I said that because she had said to me, um, it revealed to me that she was, you know, just praying for that exact thing, you know, the night prior that I had uh you know spoken with her on the phone.

  SPEAKER_00: And there's been you know like countless instances like this where someone will text me and be like, hey man, I'm praying for you, and then you know, like something like so left field happens that like is like I would just call like good luck, you know, uh prior to having an understanding of the power of prayer.

  SPEAKER_00: And on this one day in particular, also I I you know I've walked past this coffee shop like a hundred times since I had moved to Wheaton, and probably like five times on this particular day because I um I was just getting a good walk in.

  SPEAKER_00: And I was about to go home to my apartment, but I got this thought of like, but I just I want to go check out that coffee shop.

  SPEAKER_00: Like now's the now's the time to do it.

  SPEAKER_00: And I I walked over um and got a coffee, and and that's when I met uh you, uh Jack, and uh you know, you you had some you know friends with you uh in the faith, um Mark Schmidt and and uh David.

  SPEAKER_00: Um so yeah, and so it's just all these things like lining up in in in exact like uh in exact uh alignment with like the prayer life and um it's just uh kind of my my my little testimony is as to how I've kind of come back to Jesus and how Jesus is kind of you know uh yeah come coming to me.
