- 0:57All right, ladies and gentlemen, we have the NFL Whip around the.
- 1:05Whip, whip, whip around. Droba, Droba.
- 1:10Everybody get the music going for the whip around.
- 1:15Let's start off with one that we talked about briefly in The
- 1:18Deuce of the Day. Jerry Jones not confident Micah
- 1:23Parsons will play in the opener. Yes, it's been a lot of back and
- 1:27forth demands for trades. Micah Parsons is still holding
- 1:32out Jerry Jones and his son Steven Jones thinks he needs to
- 1:36want to get paid, whatever that. Means.
- 1:39Boys, is he going to play or is Jerry going to do what he always
- 1:43does, say a bunch of tough stuff he is, and then pay over market
- 1:47value at the very end? He's going to play.
- 1:49There's no question he's going to play.
- 1:51He's holding out. I do believe the Cowboys are
- 1:53going to give him what he wants. I don't think he's getting
- 1:56traded. I don't think he's going to
- 1:57another team. The Cowboys know that that
- 2:00defense cannot last a season without him.
- 2:03Dan Quinn is not the defensive coordinator anymore.
- 2:05He's running. He's the head coach of the
- 2:07Washington Commanders. So they don't have those type of
- 2:10guys that if you lose somebody like Michael Parson, it will it
- 2:14you can hide the deficiencies of that defensive line.
- 2:17It's not like that anymore. Micah Parsons is everything to
- 2:20that defensive line. He's the one that opens up the
- 2:22seams for that defense. And and that secondary is very,
- 2:25very weak. Even with Micah Parsons, they
- 2:28need him back. I believe the Cowboys are going
- 2:31to give him what he wants. They're just playing hardball
- 2:33like every single one of the players that they've been
- 2:37sitting and waiting for that contract.
- 2:38CD Lamb, he got it. He took less.
- 2:41Dak Prescott, he's been again, he's getting paid 60 million as
- 2:45well as I believe Michael Parsons is going to get his
- 2:47money slam dunk before the season starts.
- 2:50Michael will be there. But here's the problem.
- 2:53All these guys that miss the preseason games and OTAs and
- 2:57practices with the team, what you actually happens early in
- 3:00the season? They get hurt.
- 3:02I'm not going to be surprised if Michael Parsons missed a
- 3:04significant amount of time before the season starts, gets
- 3:08his contract and then he gets hurt.
- 3:11Yeah, What's interesting is they dragged out contract
- 3:13negotiations with Dak Prescott twice.
- 3:15He was mentioning that in his statement where he was defending
- 3:17Micah Parsons or Micah Parsons against Jerry Jones.
- 3:20And also with CD Lamb last year when we had RJ Ochoa on the
- 3:23show, he was mentioning like the Cowboys shouldn't be able to do
- 3:26it more in market value. And CD Lamb they dragged out
- 3:29another four months. Now they got lucky.
- 3:30They didn't have to pay him what his market value probably would
- 3:32have been tailed. But Micah Parsons is a lot more
- 3:34outspoken than Dak Prescott and CD Lamb.
- 3:36So you really go down a very difficult path with all the
- 3:40things that he says. So we've heard teammates, former
- 3:42teammates come out and says that it sometimes could be a
- 3:44distraction to the team and stuff like that.
- 3:46And then you have a kind of puppet Jerry Jones head coach
- 3:49coming in and Brian Schottenheimer, who has pretty
- 3:51low expectations as it is from Jerry Jones, who is kind of
- 3:54giving him a questionable stare. He's the one that's going to
- 3:57have to manage that. Good luck with that whole
- 3:58situation. Somebody has outspoken as
- 4:00parcels. Yeah, and and Errol, I think
- 4:04you're right too, because we've seen this and I think it goes
- 4:06for a lot of sports too, like as they hold out, they get their
- 4:09money and whatever. We've seen it in baseball too,
- 4:11where guys have held out of spring training and and not got
- 4:14in. People don't understand like how
- 4:16important is, Yeah, it's monotonous and and it doesn't
- 4:19really mean anything. But, you know, getting your body
- 4:21in shape, not only physically, mentally and and getting on the
- 4:24grind like it's a big deal. Do I think at the end of the
- 4:27day, he's going to get his money because Jerry Jones is either
- 4:30going to get what he wants or figure out a way to to make sure
- 4:34he he keeps him and does whatever.
- 4:36He doesn't know what he's saying half the time anyway.
- 4:38So to, to lose a guy like that, you're just, I mean, just
- 4:41blowing smoke, be like, oh, I don't know.
- 4:43But no, he'll get his money and and hopefully he proves us wrong
- 4:47and and you know, doesn't get hurt because he's a huge part of
- 4:50of that team and their success for.
- 4:51Sure, Ram Jam, I want to hit it. From one team that I wish was
- 4:57doing bad to another team that I really don't care about.
- 5:00I like their coach and their young quarterback.
- 5:03I thought the Giants were going to get then he missed all year
- 5:05last year. That's JJ McCarthy.
- 5:06We're going to the Vikings who lost their second best wide
- 5:10receiver, Jordan Addison to a three-game suspension.
- 5:14He was suspended for violating the league's substance abuse
- 5:17policy. It stems from a DUI arrest in
- 5:21July of 2024. He was a found asleep at the
- 5:24wheel blocking traffic near LA International Airport.
- 5:30He ultimately pleaded no contest of a lesser charge, which I've
- 5:34never heard of, called wet reckless driving.
- 5:39I wonder what that means? So they've obviously known him
- 5:42about it for a while. This stuff come from coming from
- 5:44last year. But obviously one of the bigger
- 5:46weapons had a great season last year, especially when Jefferson
- 5:50went down. How important is this guy going
- 5:52to be to the Vikings and, you know, first year quarterback JJ
- 5:56McCarthy? It's the first three games now
- 5:59again, these these young players, they go out, they get
- 6:02drunk and they do stupid things. This isn't the first time we've
- 6:05seen it. There's a couple of Kansas City
- 6:07Chiefs have done it over the over the couple of years that
- 6:10we've been talking about it. This isn't been a big problem
- 6:12with the NFL. The NFL needs to drop the hammer
- 6:15on these kids. Jordan Addison is a young
- 6:18superstar. He's making good money.
- 6:21He's going to make even more money when his rookie contract
- 6:23is up. Jordan Addison's going to be
- 6:25looking for a big contract in the next year or two and he's
- 6:28going to make a significant amount of money.
- 6:29You're looking at wide receivers that are making thirty, $32
- 6:33million. Jordan Addison, if he continues
- 6:35up with this trajectory, he's going to make between 35 and $40
- 6:39million. He's going to be their number
- 6:41one guy eventually because I don't know if Justin Jefferson
- 6:45is going to stay there. We've seen this before.
- 6:47Minnesota Viking guys don't usually stay there.
- 6:50Go ask Mr. Diggs when he went over there to complaining and
- 6:54crying. He went he was traded for Jordan
- 6:57for for Justin Jefferson for the pick.
- 6:59So I, I don't know if Justin Jefferson's going to stay there,
- 7:02especially when the Minnesota Vikings don't usually win.
- 7:05They haven't won a championship ever.
- 7:07And I don't I don't see it anytime soon with the
- 7:10quarterback play. I don't know if McCarthy is the
- 7:12guy. And again, Jordan Addison is a
- 7:15guy that I like. I watched him play in USCI love
- 7:18what he is. I love the type of player I I
- 7:20watch a lot of USC games. I like Pittman.
- 7:22He comes from the USC brand. So is Sam Darnold.
- 7:26It's a good program. Lincoln Riley is there.
- 7:29It's just to me, at the position that the NFL is at, they have to
- 7:33do something more to these guys that are going out, getting
- 7:37drunk and not thinking that they have rules to obtain by.
- 7:41So I'm not surprised. I don't think it affects the
- 7:44Minnesota Vikings or the youth over there because Justin
- 7:46Jefferson is. There, Yeah.
- 7:47From the football perspective, the Vikings have enough skill
- 7:50players to make that kind of thing work.
- 7:51He's still there in Jones, there, TJ Hawkinson.
- 7:54And even when Jefferson was hurt last year, they got other guys
- 7:56to work in that system. As far as the NFL disciplinary
- 7:58thing now, at the time, because Jordan Addison was trying to
- 8:01rush back to save his dog or something in a burning building
- 8:03or something like that. Like I defended him for the end
- 8:05it takes about fish like you were saying, blocking traffic on
- 8:07the way back or something like that.
- 8:08It's definitely not an ideal circumstance but the NFL waited
- 8:11a while with discipline and it still just shows that they want
- 8:14to wait everything out way too long rather than discipline.
- 8:16Guys and other other players are going to get away with it
- 8:19because of that too. Even pre draft process too.
- 8:21How many times do we see the players get into the DUI
- 8:23situations even before they get drafted?
- 8:25I got 1, so yeah, I can, I can speak from experience.
- 8:29So yeah, I mean, I didn't block traffic, but yeah.
- 8:34You stop traffic. None of it's good by any means,
- 8:38but I'm organic. Everybody knew it.
- 8:40So it's not like I'm running from it.
- 8:42But yeah, it's, I mean, it is. It happens like we see it, you
- 8:47know, and it's it's a shitty deal, but you know, we all make
- 8:50mistakes and hopefully he learns from it.
- 8:53At the end of the day, three games ain't really.
- 8:54Jabba, you say that he's going to learn from it.
- 8:58None of these guys have learned from it.
- 8:59How many players have done this? Rugs killed somebody, Ruggs
- 9:04killed somebody doing it, and his career is over.
- 9:07The NFL needs to drop the hammer on these guys.
- 9:10They're dropping the hammer on domestic violence.
- 9:13They should be dropping the hammer.
- 9:14It's a privilege to play professional football.
- 9:17It's a privilege. You're making millions and
- 9:19millions of dollars that other players wish they can absolutely
- 9:23do. And now you have guys like
- 9:25Jordan. Jordan Addison is a young
- 9:27superstar going out there and getting drunk and putting people
- 9:30in harm's way. The NFL should be dropping the
- 9:32hammer. He should have been out for 10
- 9:34end games. He'll never do it again.
- 9:35So it's just absolutely pathetic that Rodger can tell hasn't
- 9:38dropping the hammer on any of these guys.
- 9:42OK, let's go to the next one. It's everyone's favorite number
- 9:48one overall pick from let from not this year, but the previous
- 9:51year, Kayla Williams. Well, if you're a Bears fan, you
- 9:55might have some worry because what's going on right now in
- 9:59camp is a very inaccurate and outing Caleb Williams that time
- 10:06as he's throwing the ball. And I think we're going to try
- 10:08to get the clip up in a second, throwing the ball into a
- 10:11practice net. You know, you have like the
- 10:12three holes in the net and it's like you can throw it in from 10
- 10:16yards away from 20 yards, 30 yards.
- 10:18Well, it's just a basic warm up drill for the quarterback.
- 10:20He can't even hit the net from like 20 yards away.
- 10:24And it was and then he like walks off in embarrassment and
- 10:27it's like pouting about it. That's not what you want to see
- 10:31from the supposed leader of your team in the beginning of camp.
- 10:35As if, like, his arm was shot or something like that.
- 10:38I don't think that's the case. We all think that Caleb's going
- 10:41to be pretty successful, but they didn't win last year.
- 10:44He didn't really win in college. I think the last time he won was
- 10:48in high school. So do we know if this guy is
- 10:51actually going to turn around? And it's really interesting
- 10:54because of how good Jaden Daniels played, picking right
- 10:58after him. All right, I I I don't want to
- 11:01say this. I love Caleb Williams and I
- 11:03understand what you're going to see right now.
- 11:05You can post up the video. If you have the video it it
- 11:08didn't look very, very good. OK, that's fine.
- 11:11Lamar Jackson, when he came into the league, Lamar Jackson
- 11:14couldn't hear the broad side of a barn.
- 11:16OK, I heard that story. Lamar Jackson is the best
- 11:19quarterback in the NFL. You're going to learn from your
- 11:22mistakes. You have Ben Johnson there.
- 11:23He's a great coach and he he knows quarter the quarterback
- 11:27play. Here's another one that came
- 11:29into the league that when he came into the league as as a
- 11:32player, second round draft pick, and he's one of the greatest,
- 11:34more accurate quarterbacks of all time in Drew Brees.
- 11:37Remember when he was drafted by the San Diego Chargers, when he
- 11:40stepped on a football field just rookie season?
- 11:43Remember Schottenheimer there? Remember that?
- 11:46I remember it very, very well. And what happened?
- 11:49Drew Brees was stolen the ball in the dirt.
- 11:51He couldn't be accurate. He wasn't accurate.
- 11:53And everybody was like, oh, is this guy going to be good?
- 11:56Did did San Diego make a mistake drafting him in the second
- 11:59round? Let's be honest.
- 12:00I understand you're going to see video.
- 12:02I know everybody's going to be speaking about how embarrassing
- 12:04it is. I don't think Chicago has
- 12:06anything to worry about. He's the closest thing to Aaron
- 12:09Rodgers. He's got a great coach there.
- 12:11He's got a tremendous amount of weapons over there in Chicago
- 12:14and he's got an unbelievable running game with the
- 12:17acquisitions they made in the offseason.
- 12:19Stop it. Stop with this garbage that you
- 12:21see a post and he couldn't hit a broadside of the barn because he
- 12:24was on a football football field at a practice.
- 12:26Wait and just let the kid develop under Ben Johnson.
- 12:31It's so stupid, It's terrible story and I don't understand why
- 12:34the media wants to throw this guy under the bus.
- 12:36Oh yeah. The hype of the number one pick
- 12:38is going to come with that in comparison a lot of these other
- 12:40quarterbacks that it's going to be like.
- 12:42But I think when you look at Caleb Williams second-half
- 12:44numbers, his accuracy numbers were definitely better.
- 12:47That's an up up time for him. Ben Johnson is a tricky offense
- 12:51and I and we've seen him already.
- 12:52You talk about it. You were talking about it with
- 12:54Ariel before Jabba baseball versus football, like who
- 12:57disciplines Moore type thing. Ben Johnson's discipline, Caleb
- 13:00Williams discipline DJ Moore when he wasn't running the
- 13:02proper routes. Like he's being a very hard
- 13:04nosed coach. And we've again, we've talked
- 13:05about it with Caleb Williams. The adversity aspect too that he
- 13:07didn't have because Lincoln Riley was much more of a laid
- 13:09back coach. But it's still is not something
- 13:12that I would worry about just with a.
- 13:13Drills into it. He had Matt ever flush coaching
- 13:17him for the last this past year and a half.
- 13:20Please. Matt Eberfluse.
- 13:22Stop. Ben Johnson will get this guy in
- 13:25a tip top shape. Stop with.
- 13:26It yeah. And also, again, the offensive
- 13:27line is better. We we've talked about it.
- 13:29That was only the main problem. I mean, he held the ball along a
- 13:31little bit fine, but the offensive line was so bad last
- 13:34year in past protection. I think all the Dolphins were
- 13:36worse in pass blocking last year.
- 13:38And now you got a couple new lineman, too, to go along with
- 13:40those skilled players that he's already pretty familiar with
- 13:42outside of the tight end Loveland that they drafted.
- 13:45Yeah, I don't, I don't get the whole, I mean, that's like, oh,
- 13:49you had a crappy spring training.
- 13:51Like nobody cares. Like maybe he's working on
- 13:54different arm slots, like maybe he's working on something that
- 13:57we don't see. Like, and it's you they're
- 14:00they're trying to make up something right to to try to
- 14:02read a narrative and and whatever.
- 14:04But it maybe that was one of the 15 drills that they did.
- 14:10They just happened to get that one, you know, on a phone or.
- 14:15Camera or whatever the one that the thing that scared most
- 14:18people is in that practice, right?
- 14:20That preceded that or was right after it.
- 14:22He was 5 of 17 with three interceptions.
- 14:26People were just tearing apart again, practice, but one of the
- 14:29takes that I've heard practice, practice.
- 14:33You can swap like that all you want, but Errol, there is some
- 14:38validity to the type of offense Ben Johnson wants to run.
- 14:41If you think about what Jared Goff was doing, you're in a
- 14:43pocket. It's all on timing, precision
- 14:46routes. And Caleb Williams, like you
- 14:48say, is like Aaron Rodgers, who's trying to get out of the
- 14:50pocket and create after the structure of the play kind of
- 14:52breaks down. That's not exactly what Ben
- 14:55Johnson wants to do. So people are concerned and if
- 14:58Caleb can't pick up more of a pocket style presence, we may
- 15:02have some real issues by the. First, he'll be fine.
- 15:07I do not. Believe.
- 15:09He'll be fine. He this guy's got tremendous
- 15:11amount of talent. He's got a great arm.
- 15:13He can move inside and out of the pocket.
- 15:14He does cry a lot when he makes a mistake.
- 15:17We've seen that before at USC. But nevertheless, the kids got a
- 15:21tremendous amount of talent and he fits the the mold of what Ben
- 15:24Johnson is trying to run and how he wants to run his offense.
- 15:28Relax guys, Media zipper your lips and let this kid develop.
- 15:34We got a couple of quick ones to finish this up.
- 15:37First off, Keenan Allen returns to the I'm sorry, Sandy, Los
- 15:41Angeles Chargers free agent deal spent his first eleven years
- 15:45there. His old running mate Mike
- 15:48Williams with the, you know, Jets legend Mike Williams was
- 15:52retired, retired, kind of unexpectedly joined the league
- 15:56after him. But Allen's returning to where
- 15:58he started it played most of his career, six time Pro Bowler.
- 16:01He now gets to share the slot or share the same side of the field
- 16:05with Ladd Mcconkey. They're going to have make a
- 16:07nice combo right there. He's near the end of his career.
- 16:10He's playing in cities like 3334 years old right now.
- 16:14But even last year, in kind of a down year for him, still around
- 16:1780 catches, 800 yards in a bunch of tuddies.
- 16:20He is going to be awesome. Justin Herbert, there, suck for
- 16:24the duck, man. I'm going to tell you right now,
- 16:27Keenan Allen is going to lead the team in catches, touchdowns.
- 16:31I don't know about yards, but catches and touchdowns.
- 16:34You put him in a slot, he is explosive.
- 16:36He still has enough legs under him to make plays.
- 16:40I think it's a great move by the Chargers and he's going to help
- 16:43Mcconkley develop as a player. A slam dunk move by the
- 16:47Chargers. Love it.
- 16:49And by the way, Jim Harbaugh, he's building an offensive line.
- 16:52They're going to run the ball first, run the ball 2nd and
- 16:55probably throw on the third downs.
- 16:57That's what they're going to do. That's how he likes to run his
- 16:59offense. I think it's a slam dunk move by
- 17:02the Chargers. Yeah, veteran leader says it's
- 17:03something they need on that offense because it's very young
- 17:05all at once. They had random tight ends and
- 17:08they've gone and gone last year and they bring in Nazi Harris as
- 17:10a running back. But really that team is all
- 17:12young all at once and especially that receiver room.
- 17:15We're still having some questions with Quinton Johnson.
- 17:17You got Josh Palmer there who's a fourth year receiver.
- 17:20Like Kean Allen comes in as like the instant veteran leader to
- 17:22that team and what they need. They just have to make sure this
- 17:25is the one thing that the Bears did wrong last year.
- 17:27He's much more of a slot guy at this point in his career.
- 17:29Not a big deep threat, never really was anyway.
- 17:31But especially now he doesn't have that same kind of raw
- 17:34speed. Like Mcconkey is a good slot
- 17:36guy, but he also has the raw speed to go deep.
- 17:37Like if they use him that way and not using the way the Bears
- 17:41terrible coaching staff did last year, that's how you're going to
- 17:43get those numbers out of them. Yeah, no, I, I, for me, it's
- 17:46like I always, I always love these ones.
- 17:48I, I think it's, it's one of those things that get lost in
- 17:51the shuffle. They see, you know, 33 years
- 17:53old, ten years and whatever. It's still obviously more than
- 17:56serviceable. But I think bringing a guy of,
- 17:59of that caliber and, and the experience and the fortitude
- 18:03that he's had over his career, I think it goes a lot longer than
- 18:07what people really think when you bring in a guy like that and
- 18:10you know, he's, he's going to be a target in the way they run
- 18:13their offense. But I think just the leadership
- 18:15and the understanding of, of how to lead young men and, and put
- 18:18them in the right spot is, is such a huge thing that that
- 18:22people don't, don't look at because you, you can't keep it
- 18:24as a number. You know, it's, it's part of the
- 18:27game that that is not an analytic in, in any way, shape
- 18:30or form, but it is a huge part of getting those guys ready, not
- 18:33only physically, mentally, but but how to grind and to be able
- 18:36to to get to the league, but not to be successful, but also stay
- 18:39in the league and be successful for the amount of time.
- 18:41So I think it's great and it's dobber in the dirt.
- 18:45I like the idea of him going against dime cornerbacks with
- 18:48Lad Mcconkey in the other slot. I think that's a stop.
- 18:51He's going to be kind of like the big slot tight end type
- 18:54opposite Mcconkey if they do that.
- 18:56On he tastes. Himself.
- 18:57Well, that's very mean of you, Errol.
- 19:00But we're going to go to one thing if you were knocked out
- 19:03cold. And Errol, I need to know if you
- 19:05ever use these. But the NFL made some weird news
- 19:09out of nowhere for a little bit, banning smelling salts.
- 19:14What? In fact, yes, smelling salts
- 19:16were banned. But then today, because of the
- 19:19uproar from people including George Kittle, who by the way,
- 19:23he said, I hope not George Kittle said, where is it?
- 19:27I honestly just came up here to air a grievance.
- 19:30Our team got a memo today that smelling salts and ammonia
- 19:32packets were made illegal in the NFL, and I've been distraught
- 19:35all day, he said. I missed those already.
- 19:39I considered retirement. We've got to figure out a middle
- 19:41ground here, guys. Somebody say your sex part,
- 19:45somebody come up with good idea. That's all I had to get out
- 19:49there. Get that off my chest.
- 19:51Then the NFL came out today and said basically no, no, no, no.
- 19:55We're banning teams from giving you smelling salts.
- 19:58But if you want your keep your own stash of smelling salts on
- 20:02you, you do you. I don't get the NFL.
- 20:06How are they going to know? Yeah, I don't, I don't get it.
- 20:08I what? How do you ban it from teams?
- 20:11But you can have your own stash. It's like in a school where like
- 20:14they can't, like they can't give you Tylenol if you're not
- 20:17feeling well, you got to go home and get it.
- 20:19Oh, and something like that. So.
- 20:21So listen, we can't give you Viking in, but if you stash it
- 20:23in your locker, you can take as many as you want.
- 20:26Might as well jockstrap. Legalize it baby.
- 20:29I I think it's absolutely ridiculous.
- 20:31The NFL they got to stop like making rules and then
- 20:34transitioning it in another way because one of their superstar
- 20:38players says oh, why are you doing that?
- 20:40Oh, I'm going to retire. This is terrible.
- 20:42This is not good for the game who I didn't even know that you
- 20:45smelling salt. I could care less.
- 20:48Why do the players, why does the NFL care so much if they're
- 20:51doing it or not, and why do they care so much if the teams are
- 20:55allowing them to do it? It's so stupid.
- 20:57This is so dumb. I how about this, how about
- 21:01paying these players after they retire, after all these things
- 21:05that we've been saying, the knee problems, all this stuff.
- 21:08They're, they're so worried about the smelling salt.
- 21:11They should be worrying about what these guys are doing after
- 21:14their careers because they can't walk or they're in wheelchairs.
- 21:17How about da Cadel? Sorry, I had to.
- 21:20Do better not randomly drug test the smelling salts either.
- 21:23That's the thing that worries me because they always like to
- 21:25randomly. Test.
- 21:26The stupidest things whatsoever and I don't know much about
- 21:30smelling sauce, but somebody that helps a lot of.
- 21:32These buyers. Like, why shouldn't teams have
- 21:34them? They're big teams.
- 21:36I don't think you can film the smelling salt.
- 21:41They haven't come up with a test for it yet, Goody.
- 21:43Yeah, they will. They'll find a way.
- 21:45Wow. Jabba, you ever take the
- 21:47smelling salts? Oh better believe I did.
- 21:51I'd literally I would unwrap like 10 of them and put them in
- 21:54a bottle. I break them and put them all in
- 21:56the bottle, shake it up and give a good one.
- 21:58So. Do.
- 21:59You think it makes you like just more awake to like more like
- 22:02alert for the next Oh. It gets yeah, it's those when
- 22:06you're on a stretch of 1518 games and you go night game to
- 22:09day game on that stretch, there ain't nothing like catching you
- 22:12a good one and then just getting ready to go throw some bullets.
- 22:16It's I, I didn't believe in it because obviously we didn't have
- 22:20them around, but I saw it done one time and I tried it.
- 22:23Man, Jabba, Jabba, you have to be.
- 22:26You are definitely the king of whippets.
- 22:29I I could see Jabba going out there and trying to buy whipped
- 22:33cream to try to suck the air out of that, to get messed up.
- 22:37No, definitely didn't do that now.
- 22:39The real question is there any goody let's?
- 22:41Go to the cornfields and do some whippets.
- 22:44Goody, is there any conspiracy theories based on smelling salts
- 22:46that you don't? No, I haven't really dug into
- 22:52that to be honest. I'll let you lick my butt.
- 22:57Oh. Goodies Goody.
- 22:58Did you ever take a RIP every once in a while?
- 23:01Yeah, of course. I used to stick them in my air
- 23:03vents when I drove long guards. I gave up the booty there.
- 23:09Well, as you guys could tell, kind of a light Newsweek in the
- 23:13NFL that's been the whip around. You want to know something I
- 23:18have lost, OK, some of this and some of the crazy stuff, great.
- 23:23Now going in sports and and we're trying to find everything,
- 23:26any kind of story that's going to attract the fan to listen to
- 23:29us because it's just baseball. But now you have football right
- 23:32around the corner. You have hockey and basketball.
- 23:35You have preseason and all that other garbage.
- 23:37I'm going to tell you this right now, the NFL, if I were the NFL
- 23:41right now, I would try my very best at keeping my players away
- 23:47from being in the news line because if it is, it becomes
- 23:51these top story and it really makes the NFL look like a bunch
- 23:54of idiots. I that's just my opinion.
- 23:57It really makes the organization not look like they know how to
- 24:00control their own players and and their and the fans are
- 24:03obviously killing it all over social media because I've
- 24:05checked it out over the last 24 hours.
- 24:07So we got a new segment, ladies and gentlemen, and we call this
- 24:12This is the Remix. Another. 1 Remix.
- 24:17This is the remix. Remix This is the remix.
- 24:24Look at AI Errol up on the. Screen I look like I'm like what
- 24:27the hell happened to my neck? Your whole body looks.
- 24:30Like you're shredded bro. I don't have a neck.
- 24:33What? What's what's?
- 24:35Up your whole body looks swollen.
- 24:36I look like a turtle, you know, in his shell.
- 24:39I look like a ninja turtle with a sweater on.
- 24:42What the hell, man? Well, let's explain this new
- 24:46segment. This is the remix.
- 24:48You know, a lot of people have called in and said, Errol, you
- 24:51were wrong about this. Well, it's time to actually go
- 24:55back and take a look at some of our old takes, reflect on it,
- 25:00and then remix that take and give us a brand new one off of
- 25:05stuff we talked about in the last couple.
- 25:06Of how wonderful. Education.
- 25:08They call this the reflection part of the lesson.
- 25:12Boys, here's the first video. We're going to get the music on
- 25:16and then the music will remix as well when we're time for our new
- 25:20take. Here we go.
- 25:22Wow. Lincoln Park.
- 25:24The way the Yankees are not hitting the ball, he's not
- 25:27Boone, for the time that he's been with the New York Yankees
- 25:29has been. Successful with the New York.
- 25:31Yankees. Do I think it's Brian, Brian
- 25:33Cashman or Aaron Boone's fault that the Yankees aren't hitting?
- 25:36No. The Brian Cashman gave Aaron
- 25:39Boone, the players that he thought would fill in for Juan
- 25:42Soto. They haven't provided the
- 25:44offense that they thought. Bellinger has not provided the
- 25:47offense that they thought with his swing and the way his swing
- 25:49is in Yankees would be. He hasn't had the power that the
- 25:53numbers that he thought he would have.
- 25:56So again, you're going to blame Aaron Boone because he's not
- 25:59going up to the plate. He's not swipping at the ball.
- 26:01Those players are Ron Don is Ron Don is playing fantastic all
- 26:06season. I think his ERA is 2.67.
- 26:09He's been sensational with Max free with his ERA at 1.97.
- 26:13They've been a good one to punch the Yankees.
- 26:16Aaron Judge. If Aaron Judge doesn't hit, this
- 26:19team has had a lack of offense and Devin Williams is actually
- 26:23back. He's actually shown up over the
- 26:27last couple weeks and pitched very well in this bullpen.
- 26:29So if Devin Williams is at full strength in this.
- 26:32Bullpen, we like Fred Hunt on that and obviously.
- 26:35Doesn't die down in the second-half like we've seen many
- 26:38Aaron Boone bullpens have done over the last couple of years.
- 26:43I I think the Yankees could be a very dangerous team in the
- 26:46playoffs. Remix.
- 26:50This is the reman. All right, now I want to say
- 26:55something. The video, I don't know what
- 26:56happened with it. It's got to be, it's got to be
- 26:59something on your end. It's not on our end, but I'm
- 27:02going to take back the Bellinger thing.
- 27:04Bellinger is actually changed his really the offensive side of
- 27:09the ball over the last couple of weeks.
- 27:11Really before the old star break in the beginning of the season,
- 27:14he couldn't hit a lick and now all of a sudden and he got hot,
- 27:16he's batting 280. He's been one of the hotter
- 27:19Yankee hitter. So I will I will say this, I'll
- 27:22take back what I said about Bellinger.
- 27:24He's been a good fit for the New York Yankees.
- 27:26The question is, are the Yankees going to pay him in the
- 27:28offseason or do they go after a guy like Kyle Tucker if he
- 27:31becomes available? Now as far as the Aaron Boone
- 27:34take and the situation with Devin Williams, Devin Williams
- 27:39was finally getting out of it. He was finally figuring things
- 27:42out and then all of a sudden it fell flat on his freaking face
- 27:46again. Now the Yankees are trying to
- 27:48fix him and if they've been trying to figure out, well,
- 27:51we'll put him in the 8th inning, we'll put him in the 7th inning.
- 27:53Oh, now we'll put him in the 9th inning.
- 27:55It hasn't worked. And like Ariel just said, when
- 27:59she was on the show, she said when are you going to get the
- 28:01point? Analytics are not going to give
- 28:03you the answers to this guy. He can't pitch in New York.
- 28:06There's a lot of guys that couldn't pitch in New York and
- 28:08this guy is not fit for New York.
- 28:10Now, as far as the Yankees making the playoffs, I have said
- 28:14it and I'll say it again, they should have been sellers, ladies
- 28:17and gentlemen. And I, I heard Ariel, I heard
- 28:20what she said. She had the Yankees added two
- 28:22good bullpen arms, great for them.
- 28:25We're not going to see those goes actually mean anything
- 28:27until next year. This team is not making the
- 28:29playoffs. They're choke artists.
- 28:31They're terrible. And Aaron Judge, if he's not in
- 28:34the lineup, like I just said in that date, they're not getting
- 28:37any offense or enough offense to get them over the top.
- 28:40This team stinks. You heard it from me.
- 28:43Absolutely stinks. Sell that to the remix.
- 28:50And that's our first edition of This Is the Remix.
- 28:53I am so tired of watching this team.
- 28:56I am so tired of watching this, the game of baseball because I'm
- 29:00rooting for a team that is a mockery, mockery of the New York
- 29:04Yankees and what the Yankees organization stands for and for
- 29:08anybody to want to blame Aaron Boone for all of it.
- 29:10I'm not saying Amber Boone has nothing is nothing to be blamed
- 29:14for. He is the manager of the team.
- 29:16This team stinks because of the analytics up.
- 29:20Fire everybody a part of that analytic room.
- 29:23Fire every one of them. And if you're going to bring in
- 29:26a new manager, bring in a manager that actually doesn't
- 29:29look in a book, actually knows the game, go reach out to Matt
- 29:34my Derosa or somebody of that magnitude.
- 29:37Don't bring a Yankee guy in anymore.
- 29:40These Yankees don't work. It hasn't worked.
- 29:43So that's where I'm going with it.
- 29:45Go, go look at another organization.
- 29:48Go look at another team that has a good manager on their bench
- 29:51that actually has done very well for himself with that
- 29:54organization. That's where I would go with the
- 29:56Yankees. Stop with this garbage.
- 29:57Oh, he's got to be a Yankee. He's got to be a Yankee.
- 30:01Stop it. It's just absolutely crud.
- 30:04This team stinks. Stinks.
- 30:07And don't sell me anything. The Yankees make the playoffs.
- 30:09It'll be they'll be in it and they'll be out just as quick.
- 30:13The pitching staff has been garbage.
- 30:15Everything about this team has been garbage since the
- 30:18second-half. And I don't blame Max Freed.
- 30:20I blame his blisters. But you know, I believe I you
- 30:23know what? I blame the baseballs.
- 30:25Screw you, Manford. That's what I I blame the
- 30:28baseballs. There you go.
- 30:31I'm sorry. Oh man, I need a cigarette after
- 30:34that. Well, if you smoke, I mean, you
- 30:39know, you can share one with Jabba.
- 30:40I mean, he needs. One, I don't smoke.
- 30:42I'm just, I know you don't. You can share one with Kenny.
- 30:45I know you don't smoke Jabba I. Don't share one with you, Errol.
- 30:49You sound like you smoke. No, I don't smoke.
- 30:52I don't smoke anything. Well, stop it.
- 30:57Stop it, goodie. Don't let's not burn bridges
- 31:01here on this show. I mean, what are we trying to
- 31:03toss here? Listen, I'm not tossing
- 31:06anything. That's right, my vein.
- 31:09And listen, the only person that's going to be tossing salad
- 31:12is the one right sitting right in front of me.
- 31:13That's about it. The only thing that's going to
- 31:15be tossing anyways. That was yeah, that was the one
- 31:21and only. This is the remix.
- 31:22We call this goodies beggable. My mom was gonna wire a car
- 31:27battery. With my.
- 31:28Testicles. Trying to put tiger bomb on this
- 31:30jungles nuts. Goodies Bag of balls.
- 31:33That's how you become great man and your balls out there.
- 31:38Wow. Well, let's go from one New York
- 31:41team to another. The Mets, speedy as you know,
- 31:45are in full crisis mode, having lost eight of their last nine
- 31:49games. You as a fan, I'm sure you're
- 31:51infuriated. Stars like Francisco Lindor,
- 31:54Juan Soto, Pete Alonso, they're facing heavy criticism from the
- 32:02from the reporters. We don't know about their team
- 32:05chemistry, the effort they're putting it on the field in the
- 32:09front office. We don't know.
- 32:12It's all in question there. This next upcoming stretch
- 32:15against the Milwaukee Brewers could bury their playoff hopes.
- 32:20Yeah, top of the line up's been bad for since the All Star
- 32:23break, it's really been the young guys that have done a lot
- 32:25better in the second-half of the season and kind of just timely
- 32:28hitting in other areas. But yeah, since since then it's
- 32:31been an O Lindor and an O for like 37 or something like that.
- 32:35Pete Alonzo had a really bad home run draft for a while.
- 32:38Yeah, there's something's going to have to change.
- 32:39And it comes when it comes to either a shake up in the lineup,
- 32:42a shake up in some kind of team meeting.
- 32:44Lindor tried that already, but clearly it only works for the
- 32:47short. Term Med fans, that's who you
- 32:49want your captain to be. O for 37, that's your captain.
- 32:54That's what I'm saying. Sell that, baby.
- 32:57The Mets stink right now. I do not believe the Mets are
- 33:00going to stay this way. They're not the Yankees.
- 33:02They got to line up. They'll figure things out there
- 33:04in a slump right now, this happens.
- 33:06You go on these 10 games, kids, and then you get out of it.
- 33:09Right now, obviously everybody is in a slump together.
- 33:13It usually one's in a slump and three guys are hitting right
- 33:16now, everybody's in a slump. Soto Lindor, Peter Lump.
- 33:20So they're all almost. Got no hit today.
- 33:22Yeah, so they're they're all falling into a hole.
- 33:25I think they'll figure it out. They'll get out of it.
- 33:27I think they're very well managed and they have a good
- 33:30roster when it comes to the pitching staff.
- 33:32Now adding some bullpen help, I think the Mets will be fine.
- 33:34It's the Yankees you got to worry about.
- 33:37Is that how you feel, Speedy? Do you wish they would have done
- 33:39more at the trade deadline? No, I think they did.
- 33:41The trade deadline approach was fine.
- 33:43I, I mean, like we were saying when Ariel was on the show, like
- 33:46there were the starting pitching market I guess was too expensive
- 33:49for a lot of these teams. We saw what Texas did, trading a
- 33:51lot to get Meryl Kelly and that was the one that moved.
- 33:54That did happen. Yeah.
- 33:55Would I have wanted a starter? Maybe.
- 33:56But again, the price, the asking price must have been too high.
- 33:59They got 3 versatile relievers, healthy look good the first
- 34:02game, not so good the second game.
- 34:04Obviously Diaz struggled the one game, but like, I think they're
- 34:06still trying to find their role. I think the match trade deadline
- 34:09approach was fine though. It's just a matter of just gonna
- 34:11get those stars going again. If you were the GM, what would
- 34:14you have done if you could make moves?
- 34:17Would you have selled off your prospects for the starting
- 34:19pitching? Are you all in this year?
- 34:22Well, again, the guy that I wanted, if there was a big swing
- 34:26that they wanted would have been Joe Ryan would have been the
- 34:28swing. And maybe that's where I would
- 34:29have traded a big, big guy, one of their big pitching prospects
- 34:32right now and maybe Acuna and that kind of deal, that's the
- 34:34only one I would have done a big name deal for.
- 34:36But in terms of like their other markets, I think it's just the
- 34:40price was too high and that's why nobody besides Texas traded
- 34:43for anyway. Interesting.
- 34:47I agree with you. I don't.
- 34:48I don't. It's usually like you said,
- 34:51Errol. It's not.
- 34:53It's usually one or the other. Now it's like everybody sucking
- 34:55at the same time. The last 10 games.
- 34:57They're 2 and 8 like you said, but I mean 2 1/2 back.
- 35:01I don't think they're in as bad as position as the Yankees being
- 35:05only 2 1/2 back, so we'll see I guess.
- 35:07I think I, I think the Mets right now will figure things
- 35:10out. They're a good roster.
- 35:11They have a good roster. I, I know they're in a slump
- 35:14right now, but like, like I said in the beginning, I, I still
- 35:17think they're in a slump. Everybody's in a slump at the
- 35:19same time. They'll figure it out.
- 35:21They're making the playoffs and they're probably besides, maybe
- 35:25I would say I'm looking at the National League right now.
- 35:29Who really scares you? The Dodgers if they get healthy,
- 35:31but they're, they're not many teams right now that scares you
- 35:35in the National League. So.
- 35:37I think the Padres are pretty are poised to be.
- 35:40Pretty weird one. I think they're they're a stupid
- 35:42organization. You trade the third best
- 35:44prospect for a pitcher, a relief pitcher.
- 35:47I, I just you better win. You better win because they do.
- 35:51They do this all the time. And they, they always, they
- 35:53always make moves and like get really big names and then
- 35:56nothing comes out of that's what I'm saying.
- 35:58Apparently they've done in free agency.
- 36:01They've they've done it more than once where you know, and
- 36:04obviously their last 10 games are 8 and 2.
- 36:06So, but I mean they can take a skid with the worst of them, but
- 36:09and. Apparently, the Mets had a big
- 36:11offer, too, for Mason Miller. And the best?
- 36:13Offer like doubled it. When he said skid, I said.
- 36:17What about skid mark? They can take a skid with the
- 36:20best of them, he said. I.
- 36:22Got the bubble guts. I do this.
- 36:26Turtle head is poking right? Now, my God, somebody needs to
- 36:29go to the bathroom. Later, I'll let you lick my
- 36:31butt. Not now.
- 36:34Not right now, son. Job is.
- 36:36Crowning right now. Oh.
- 36:37Boy, I gave up the booty there. All right, let's move on to the
- 36:43next one here, Bryce Harper versus the MLB Salary Cop.
- 36:49The war is brewing. MLB owners float Salary cop
- 36:53ahead of the 2026 CBA negotiations.
- 36:57If you heard recently, Bryce Harper lashed out at our
- 37:01commissioner Rob Manfred and a profanity lace exchange.
- 37:06Tony Clark and the players union are withholding licensing funds,
- 37:09preparing for a showdown. And what they call when they
- 37:14hold the licensing funds, they put it in what they call a war
- 37:17chest. So we're going to war and arrow
- 37:21your favorite, your favorite, your favorite.
- 37:24Reporter Stephen A Smith calls for league punishment.
- 37:28Tensions have skyrocketed. First of all, I could careless
- 37:32what Stephen A Smith has to say because he doesn't.
- 37:34Know you love him, he needs to stick.
- 37:35He needs to stick to basketball and stop trying to solidify him
- 37:39as a baseball analyst because he doesn't know anything about it.
- 37:42I would. I honestly believe that baseball
- 37:45should have a salary cap and and they should be capped with
- 37:49money. That's just what I think.
- 37:50I know Jabba and you are going to attack me from that.
- 37:53The players union will never allow it and they're going to go
- 37:56into obviously a long, long strike in 2026 because right now
- 38:02when you look at where, what kind of money these owners are
- 38:04making, I understand that's what you're going to say the owners
- 38:06are going to make. There has to be some kind of
- 38:08stoppage when, where, when it comes to these.
- 38:11There's so many fans going to these games, spending 10s of
- 38:13hundreds of dollars, can't afford to go to a baseball game.
- 38:16And when they do, they're buying a sausage for $30.00.
- 38:20I don't like it. I think baseball needs to come
- 38:22to an agreement where it works for the fan and it also works
- 38:26for the player and the owner. I think there's too much being
- 38:29invested into the players. That's just my opinion.
- 38:32What are we going to see? What, what is it going to change
- 38:34when we see the first billion dollar baseball player for a
- 38:371314 year? I think it's disgusting how much
- 38:40these guys are making. It really is ridiculous.
- 38:43I, I mean, some of these guys aren't even that good and
- 38:46they're making this kind of money.
- 38:47It it really makes me sick to my stomach.
- 38:49The main thing I think is the percentages and the
- 38:51distribution. We've talked about it.
- 38:52That's with the deferred money. Like I think you look at the
- 38:55contracts that are big, one player gets 500 million like
- 38:59Vlad Junior got, and then the Blue Jays were purging a lot of
- 39:01their other guys. $325 million upfront.
- 39:05Upfront. So like the the disproportionate
- 39:08distribution, I think more is more of the issue where a lot of
- 39:12these other guys waiting free agency forever, especially
- 39:14veteran hitters. I think veteran right-handed
- 39:16hitters get signed like in spring training a lot of the
- 39:19time because they just these teams don't think they have the
- 39:22room or they want to budget it out.
- 39:24So I think the salary floor could be an interesting thing to
- 39:26start because there's a lot of really cheap ownerships too.
- 39:29We talk about like teams like the Twins that I think don't
- 39:31think it's got a free agent until like the second or last
- 39:33week of the season, offseason. And teams like the Cardinals, it
- 39:36didn't spend at all, barely anything.
- 39:38So these are mid market teams. These aren't teams like the Rays
- 39:41and the 80s. I'm not leaking anymore
- 39:42stadiums, stuff like that. Those, I think, are more of the
- 39:44bigger problems than it is with these deferred money dodgers
- 39:48that are doing everything. No, I wouldn't.
- 39:51Yeah, I mean, I don't, I don't think it gets that.
- 39:54Do I think there there will be a stoppage?
- 39:56This is probably I mean, I've went through a few of them.
- 39:59Goody, you probably have as well Where this this one and
- 40:02obviously seen it from afar. This one seems about the closest
- 40:06to maybe a little bit of a stoppage.
- 40:08I don't know how long it'll go, go into it.
- 40:13This one does feel a little bit. In the way he's kind of
- 40:16approaching it to teams and you know, we all know it's like,
- 40:19hey, you've got to it's kind of like spring training right now.
- 40:23Giddy as you know, it's like, hey, we have the meeting with,
- 40:26you know, MLBPA and then you have the meeting with everybody
- 40:29else during spring training. So it's kind of like that when
- 40:31you get to this point. And I think too, a lot of it
- 40:35when it gets to this part of the season, you're having those type
- 40:38of conversations, like I don't want to talk about that right
- 40:41now. I'm trying to, I'm fighting my
- 40:43tail off to try to get in position to to win a World
- 40:46Series here. Like I don't want to talk about
- 40:47this. Like when the season's over, we
- 40:49can talk about it. We can, you know, sit down and
- 40:52get all of the representatives from each team and the
- 40:54alternates or, and anybody. You don't have to be represented
- 40:57for your team. You can go to all of these
- 40:59meetings like you don't have to be the Rep.
- 41:02You just if you're the Rep, you have to, you know, be on the
- 41:04call and do all that. But it I don't think there will
- 41:08be 1 because what that does is it basically steps on the throat
- 41:15of all the guys that fought to make sure that you guys got the
- 41:18contract AI baby. So where they where?
- 41:25We need to upgrade the AI. Yeah, we kind of upgrade the AI.
- 41:31That one's tough, that one's good.
- 41:35I'm going to Chorn. Metal, yes.
- 41:37Let's not. So yeah, I don't, I don't, I
- 41:40don't think there will be. And they're they're like you
- 41:43said, the war chest is full. So we'll see what happens. 99%
- 41:49of the world would too. It's definitely interesting.
- 41:55It sucks one way or the other. I mean, a lot of guys are going
- 41:58to lose their jobs or if if it does get to that, it'll be at
- 42:02the ends of many careers and a lot of people will be
- 42:04furloughed. So we'll see what happens and
- 42:06and then they'll be scored 12. But do you think goody like 2
- 42:10like do you think they'll be any like if it gets to that point,
- 42:13do you think they'll be guys that cross the line again if it
- 42:17gets to that point? Probably, dude, I mean, the
- 42:24Major League minimums like $700,000.
- 42:27So like you're telling me a career AAA player is not going
- 42:30to be like, you know what? This is my chance to make some
- 42:33sort of money, you know what I'm saying?
- 42:35Like, of course it's going to look bad as it always does.
- 42:38But at the same time, like that dude who's got three kids and
- 42:42has been grinding in AAA for three years is gonna be like,
- 42:46dude, I have to do it. And like, who am I default him
- 42:49at? Like, do you got to do what you
- 42:50gotta do, man? It's like the product won't be
- 42:52the same, but like you gotta do what you gotta do.
- 42:54So it doesn't you, you carry that as you cross the line and
- 42:58then you're not allowed to get anything further like as it if
- 43:02it comes back and you end up going, you don't get any service
- 43:06time, you don't get pension, you don't get anything.
- 43:08So it I it would suck to be in that position if you get to
- 43:11that, but IA 100% understand where, where you'd have to be
- 43:15like I, I've got to do this and and this is the best for my
- 43:19family. And can I still make money?
- 43:22Yes. But am I going to get the the
- 43:24residuals of if I make it, but I can make this money now more
- 43:27than I've made. Like, who's to say this guy in
- 43:29AAA doesn't go up and just ball out for a month and then, you
- 43:32know, then we start back and, you know, the Rays are like, you
- 43:35know, we got to have, Yep, Speedy Peedy in our lineup.
- 43:38I don't care if he's a scab or not.
- 43:40Yeah, right. You know, we'll cut our remarks,
- 43:42but we need Speedy Peedy. A baby toe, Yeah.
- 43:47We'll see that how that goes and that plays out.
- 43:50I hope it doesn't get to a stoppage.
- 43:52I would like to not see a strike like baseball to keep rolling.
- 43:55And then for my last one, Speedy, this ones for you.
- 43:58UFO tag. Yeah.
- 44:01Alien probes theory staring debate A new non peer reviewed
- 44:08paper led by Harvard astronomer Ivy Loeb suggests the
- 44:11interstellar object 3I dash Atlas might be a hostile alien
- 44:16probe, citing its rare retrograde trajectory aligned
- 44:19with earth's orbital plane. Some media amplified the idea of
- 44:24quote UN quote arrival in November or December of 2025,
- 44:28possibly even implying a quote mothership attack.
- 44:32However, critics across the astronomy community have
- 44:35denounced the claims as the alarmist and unsupported
- 44:39mainstream consensus remains that the Three I Atlas is a
- 44:43natural comment, lacking volatile gas emissions and
- 44:47exhibiting behavior consistent with known physical.
- 44:51Process. That's a.
- 44:54Life. Oyster.
- 44:55Well, you're implying what's that for as the Atlas approaches
- 44:59late October. All right, well, new spectral or
- 45:02infrared data. Goody goody.
- 45:05All dismissal to these friends. Anyone.
- 45:08Goody, if you host a watch party, I'll I'll get involved in
- 45:10that. If there is natural, that means
- 45:12there's no there's no robotic traces as far as we know.
- 45:14If you're if you're this, this Harvard paper is claiming to
- 45:19which it just take a choice of using the Ivy using your Ivy
- 45:22League name. I don't care.
- 45:23Go after an alien theory. I would never would have thought
- 45:26that would have connected. I was like, OK, this is probably
- 45:29some random small school that's going to get that up now.
- 45:31This is Harvard SO. I love Lisa Ann if you want.
- 45:34To host the watch party Goody, I'm all for it.
- 45:37Hey listen, it's likely billions of years old, far older than
- 45:41anything in our solar system. Red spectrum plus dust coma with
- 45:46no gas lines yet. An ancient unusual interstellar
- 45:50visitor. This is like that Uumu Maua one
- 45:52look like last year. That long shape turd looking
- 45:56one. Kevin's.
- 45:57Got a message for you in? The comedy.
- 46:00The false flag alien attack. Hey man, I think aliens are
- 46:03already here. Green pot.
- 46:04They've been here. My rear end is burning.
- 46:06Cipher your sources. Next of which, which humans do
- 46:10you think you could go exist? Men in black, is that yours?
- 46:12Are you? Happy to see me, I've seen men
- 46:14in black. They live They live the 1919
- 46:19nineties 19 late 80s They live documentary.
- 46:24Men in black memory Eraser. Yeah, check it out, old one.
- 46:28Look at this. Pulled it out of my ass.
- 46:31Pulled it out of my ass like I always gave up the booty.
- 46:36Goody you said non peer review Harvard paper.
- 46:41If it's not peer review, that means they were so embarrassed
- 46:45by it they didn't let anyone else see it before they
- 46:48published it. That's what that means.
- 46:51Which means they couldn't. That's called sex.
- 46:52A single thing they said whatsoever.
- 46:58What it said this is what it. Said it's.
- 47:01A paranormal researcher in Ivy School.
- 47:05Pique my interest, led by Harvard astronomer Avi Loeb.
- 47:12Spank it because I want you to. Look.
- 47:14About it Avi Loeb. I might as well be the
- 47:15Ghostbusters ABI. Loeb, check them out.
- 47:20Aliens are coming. They're already here.
- 47:23They're brothers and sisters are coming.
- 47:24We're doomed. You have a sniff.
- 47:27Line. That's what we dooming you.
- 47:28Sure, we haven't done it already the.
- 47:29Aliens get here in November or December, I don't know.
- 47:32Errol Mark says no. Chicks with Dicks.
- 47:35Errol's still trying to find find a way for the aliens to go
- 47:38after Rob Manfred. Would you stick a finger in his
- 47:41ass? Errol's trying to figure out how
- 47:43to work the soundboard over there.
- 47:46In the wrong section he needs. He is cool.
- 47:49Let me just push all the buttons until one makes sense.
- 47:52Oh yeah. Is that what it is?
- 47:53Is that what? You a lot of hot ladies well.
- 47:55Somebody's got to do it cooking again.
- 47:57I'm putting you on a leash now. Breaking news Goody has no
- 48:01Woody. Get Me Out of here.
- 48:09Rory, get out of here, Buck Plug.
- 48:12Anyways, we got a final segment of the show and we call this
- 48:17King of the Hill. And here's the King of the Hill.
- 48:21This, Bobby, is the beltline you never, ever hit below.
- 48:25That not that kind of king of the hill, you dumb.
- 48:28Breaking news. This is King of the Hill.
- 48:31Breaking news, Do you want to jerk me off?
- 48:34Oh my goodness. Welcome to King of the Hill, our
- 48:39game show trivia game, where we're going to have our first
- 48:43peasant fight where everyone's going to fight it out to a
- 48:46chance to face off in the joust where the winner gets to take on
- 48:50the king. It's King Arrow once again.
- 48:52He's only lost once ever. So here.
- 48:56We are. With.
- 48:57King of the Hill. Looks like I'm having a little
- 48:59bit of trouble with my technology, so I'm just going to
- 49:01keep this off screen for a second.
- 49:02Let's get this grip and run. Let's get the interns in all
- 49:06right, whichever ones are going to be in it, Goody, we're going
- 49:09to have you play some NFL King of the Hill.
- 49:12We're going to get Jake in here as well.
- 49:13He wasn't. Defending runner up the last
- 49:15time we did NFL. Yeah, I mean, Goody is an NFL
- 49:19savantes. Oh yeah, he is.
- 49:21That's right. No doubt about it.
- 49:23I have no sack. I actually mopped the floor with
- 49:27him last last time we played and got second place OK.
- 49:30So OK. That's right.
- 49:32That is true. You have a good power ranking
- 49:34stats. So here we go for and by the
- 49:37way, before we start, they just came out with a new season at
- 49:40king of the hill. You mentioned it last or a
- 49:42couple weeks ago. Goody it's amazing it.
- 49:45Is I need a blow pop on? Hulu right now.
- 49:47Didn't even know that was a thing.
- 49:48That is inspired. No stopping him now.
- 49:51Here we go peasant. Fight.
- 49:54Best outside linebackers of all time?
- 49:59Play with my pickle. Again, the way this works,
- 50:02you're going to have three people you're going to have to
- 50:05name at the position of outside linebacker and we can talk about
- 50:09it as a four three where there would be two outside linebackers
- 50:12playing over inside the box or you could do it as a 3-4 where
- 50:16they are outside the box. That's all right.
- 50:19So generally, I hope not rusher or just elite off ball.
- 50:24Let's get it going. Here is the rundown, and we're
- 50:28going to start off all the way to the right with our intern,
- 50:33Jake. All right, so for my first pick,
- 50:37I'm going to go with Ray Lewis, both of our Ravens legends.
- 50:41So I got to, I got to stop you right there.
- 50:42He was an inside linebacker. We need outside linebackers.
- 50:47Outside. All right, So what?
- 50:48What would you I guess? Start on this side.
- 50:51We'll give them some time. Let's go.
- 50:52So if you're not playing the mic or the inside position, you're
- 50:57playing either over the tackle or outside the tackle, that
- 50:59would be an outside. Linebacker.
- 51:00OK. All right, you got the goody and
- 51:03then you can start with them. Yeah.
- 51:04Come on. All right, let's start from the
- 51:05other side. Then let's go to Nicholas the
- 51:08Alien. Goody.
- 51:09Let's. Go burn a Bush in a crab.
- 51:12First and foremost, we're going to go with Lawrence Taylor.
- 51:15No question, New York Giants. As you know, 1981 to 1993, this
- 51:19guy revolutionized the outside linebacker position with the
- 51:23pass rush dominance he has. He set the gold standard.
- 51:28Two time Super Bowl champ, 1986 NFL MVP10 time Pro Bowler eight
- 51:35time first, eight time first team All pro.
- 51:38This guy was incredible. Lawrence Taylor #1.
- 51:40Wayne Joy. Next Let's get to the next show.
- 51:43We're done with the cousin fighter.
- 51:44I know. With another pass rusher kind of
- 51:46a little after Lawrence Taylor, third all time in sacks.
- 51:49It was Kevin Green dominant force in both the outside with
- 51:52the Steelers and then with the Rams as well.
- 51:54Moving on to that team. It was a lot more of an
- 51:56offensive team too. May rest in peace, die very
- 51:58young, but 150 under 61 sacks in his career, third all time only
- 52:03behind Bruce Smith and I've never heard of.
- 52:08Skin flu. I got to go.
- 52:10Kevin Green Jabba we are going to go with I don't know because
- 52:15I'm really trying not to crap my pants right now skin.
- 52:20Flu. Yeah, it's rough.
- 52:22I'm going to get my butt. What Butt gets did play outside,
- 52:27didn't he? That I have to look at, I
- 52:29believe. I saw.
- 52:30I thought he did too. I.
- 52:32I. Yeah.
- 52:32It's kind of a weird position classification in the 60s.
- 52:35He tasted yeah, like. Player it everywhere.
- 52:37So it says middle linebacker when I googled it and I thought
- 52:40it was middle when he started talking.
- 52:43All right, well, the peasant fight.
- 52:44I'm out. I got a poop.
- 52:46Sorry. Like I always gave up the booty.
- 52:48I'll take, I'll take. I'll play Richard Pecker hard in
- 52:53this round. Yeah, that's.
- 52:54Probably good. Idea all right, I will go with
- 52:59since we heard Ray Lewis already let's.
- 53:02As long as she's using dude wipes and taking care of my 2
- 53:04hole I'm good. And.
- 53:07Terrell Subs was an absolute dominant force, played forever,
- 53:11one of the few guys who came back from an Achilles tear and
- 53:14still was good. Just a freak of nature
- 53:17athletically. The way they play defense with
- 53:19Reed in the back end, Ray Lewis in the middle level and guys
- 53:23like Bart Scott, who are also pretty good that were playing
- 53:26there alongside him. And then you had that frontline
- 53:28with Hello De Nada and that absolute beast on the edge
- 53:33internal Suggs Jake for two. All right.
- 53:37So would you say Von Miller, does that count?
- 53:39Absolutely. I'm going to go to Von Miller,
- 53:41obviously it was a superstar and he came into the league, broke
- 53:44out multi time all pro, pretty much helped Peyton Manning carry
- 53:48him with a defense, cut down the 15 and one Carolina Panthers to
- 53:51win that Super Bowl for them. And then he's pretty much just
- 53:53been a legend. And everywhere else he's gone,
- 53:55you know, helping the Rams win his, winning his second ring and
- 53:58going to Los Angeles, helping out Aaron Donald, having a vaunt
- 54:02defensive line. And then, you know, even the
- 54:03Buffalo now kind of a little bit of a tail off, but he's still
- 54:06been a dominant force in the league.
- 54:08Von Miller for me #1 and then #2 I guess.
- 54:13Would you say Junior Seow? Would he be outside?
- 54:15He was inside. He was.
- 54:18Inside. All right, I guess I'll go.
- 54:20How about Lavonte, David? He played ball.
- 54:22I think that one's fine. I'll allow it, yeah.
- 54:25All right, I'm gonna go like I'm gonna go Lavonte David kind of,
- 54:27which is the very good long time tenured player with Tippa Bay
- 54:32Buccaneers was obviously one of their core players alongside
- 54:35Mike Evans for a long time in Tippa Bay there held down the
- 54:37ship for a long time. And then it was kind of the
- 54:39anchor and the, you know, local leader of their defense in Tippa
- 54:42Bay when they won their championship with Tom Brady.
- 54:44So I'm going to go with. All right, again, I'm going to
- 54:47go for Jabba. I'm just going to pull up this
- 54:50guy's stats because when I was a kid, he was the best outside
- 54:53linebacker of all time. Set 14 years.
- 54:57He was Pro Bowl and all but three of them.
- 54:59I'm talking about Tampa Bay legends Derrick Brooks.
- 55:04Derrick Brooks was the absolute linchpin of those defenses when
- 55:08at the turn of the century when they won their Super Bowl with
- 55:11Jon Gruden. If you remember that far back, I
- 55:14think you weren't born yet. Jake pulled it out.
- 55:16So you don't remember. But I remember because I'm old
- 55:19and I remember that dude being the best player on that defense.
- 55:23Breaking news, they call me the ladies man and Mr. Still your
- 55:25girl. Speedy.
- 55:27Well, Speaking of Nathan, I'm going to go with somebody from
- 55:30his team too that Jake you as. An Eagles fan and he's a Giants.
- 55:33Fan probably watched terrorize our team.
- 55:35That was DeMarcus Ware, probably outside of Terrell Suggs,
- 55:38probably the next best like outside linebacking edge pass
- 55:41rusher that I've seen dominant for a long time too.
- 55:43Even when we went over to the Broncos too.
- 55:45Still a very good longevity. Had a great initial burst off
- 55:48the line of scrimmage, great spin moves, great explosiveness
- 55:51off the line of scrimmage. Can play both sides of the line
- 55:53and too as an outside linebacker, probably after
- 55:55Suggs, like probably the second one of that generation you would
- 55:57consider. I'll go with DeMarcus Ware as
- 55:59myself. Speedy.
- 56:00'S mom. Nick Goody, 4/2.
- 56:05Wow. Grumpy old man.
- 56:08The single Game Sack record holder didn't even know who that
- 56:12is. Single game.
- 56:14Yes. I thought I.
- 56:16Thought I'm better be an outside linebacker, my friend.
- 56:22It's not OC. Derek Thomas.
- 56:25Oh, OK. Derek Thomas.
- 56:29Butt plug you. Guys are sleeping on my man from
- 56:31the Kansas City Chiefs played in the 80s into the late 90s.
- 56:36He's a nine time pro bowler, two time first team, all of the all
- 56:40Pro 128 1/2 career stacks. Known for his speed, speedy.
- 56:50I have no pressure. This guy is incredible, one of
- 56:56the all time greats. Ball bag and then going again.
- 57:00So this is my third guy. Last one.
- 57:02Last guy, we're going to throw it way back to the 70s and 80s.
- 57:07Can I snap your ass? Absolute savage of a player
- 57:10named Jack Ham. Anybody know who that is?
- 57:13Wait for the I. Don't think you know who it is?
- 57:18No, it's a good try. Listen, I've been doing my
- 57:21research. He's 1.
- 57:22He was one of the most intelligent and complete
- 57:26linebackers there ever was. It was the elite in the coverage
- 57:30game and in the run defense. Not to mention he was a four
- 57:33time Super Bowl champ, eight time Pro Bowler, and six time
- 57:37first team All Pro. He's #3 on my list, Jack.
- 57:44I need a blow pop. Two very good choices.
- 57:46Goody, Speedy, so actually funny enough Derek.
- 57:49Derek Thomas would have been my next choice after that.
- 57:51And good choice as well with HAM.
- 57:53I'll. Finish it off with another off
- 57:54ball linebacker that wasn't as good as Derek Brooks but still
- 57:57was very good. For a while, that was Lance
- 57:58Briggs. As long as.
- 57:59I'm Brian or Lacker also in that Tampa 2 defense when Lovey Smith
- 58:02was there was a multi time pro ball and all.
- 58:05Pro do 1. Of those more physical off ball
- 58:08linebackers like Brooks was in that zone system for a long
- 58:11time. I was so.
- 58:12Lance Athletes, Athletes. So I'd love to say this guy, but
- 58:18he's not going to win it for me and get Jabba to the next Carl.
- 58:21Carl Banks is the best run stopping outside backer I've
- 58:24ever seen, but I'm going to go with the one.
- 58:30And the only keep looking play no.
- 58:33No, I forgot who it was. You know who I who it was
- 58:37though? I was going to say here's the
- 58:38story Errol. This is the reason Aaron Rodgers
- 58:41won his won Super Bowl. It was because of this off ball
- 58:44linebacker named Clay Matthews. Clay Matthews.
- 58:47Clay Matthews junior was unstoppable for a handful of
- 58:51years, probably the best outside linebacker in football for a.
- 58:54Couple. He just collapsed the edge.
- 58:58He was kind of doing some of this stuff that you saw TJ Watt
- 59:01do a couple years later, but doing it from off the ball every
- 59:05time. It was really incredible what he
- 59:07was doing. He kind of brought MMA into
- 59:11football by doing the hammer punch on the ball.
- 59:14He kind of made that famous. No one was doing that before
- 59:17Clay Matthews Junior. So I got to say, he's got to be
- 59:20on this list for sure, Jake. Hey, that guy played 19 years,
- 59:24by the way. That's his father.
- 59:28So for my last day, I played Matthews too.
- 59:30He's up there. I'm going to go.
- 59:31To my rear end is burning. You go to Joey Porter, it was a
- 59:35beast for the Pittsburgh Steelers.
- 59:36You know, multi time Pro Bowler and an all Pro help the Steelers
- 59:39and you know, Big Ben win their first championship as well.
- 59:42Played pretty good with Miami and Arizona as well, but was
- 59:44mostly known as being, you know, part of the black and gold with
- 59:46Pittsburgh Steelers. So yeah, Joey Porter.
- 59:50Who is moving on to the joust? Joey Porter, Joey Bag of dogs
- 59:55all. Right.
- 59:56So Lawrence Taylor is obviously the greatest pass rusher of all
- 1:00:00time. So besides Reggie, besides
- 1:00:04Reggie White. So I'm going to get Goody and
- 1:00:07Reggie White. Yeah.
- 1:00:08Reggie, you don't know who Reggie White is.
- 1:00:10He wasn't an outside linebacker. He's not on Goody's list.
- 1:00:16Right on the list. Right on the list, kid.
- 1:00:23I like aliens. Take over a time travel doesn't
- 1:00:26exist. You could go back in time and go
- 1:00:27coach Reggie White to be an outside linebacker.
- 1:00:29Job I like my shrimp cocktail. Anyways, anyways, I'm.
- 1:00:33Going to go. That's a fact.
- 1:00:35I don't know anything. Boy, do you ever nice reading
- 1:00:37the computer, buddy. Anyways, we got we got goodie
- 1:00:42and I'm going to go. I can't go without him.
- 1:00:45I mean, I like, I like Jake. I think it's got to be Jake.
- 1:00:49You want me to go with Jake? I want you to go, Jake.
- 1:00:52You know who I want you to go for?
- 1:00:53OK, go ahead. But.
- 1:00:56I want you to go Jake. I want to go coach Fish.
- 1:00:59What the? Hell is ass cheeks.
- 1:01:01I'm going to go all right, I'll go with Goody and Jake.
- 1:01:04Why not let's. Do it.
- 1:01:07All right, Speedy, pop out and let's get into the next round,
- 1:01:11which is the joust. And here's the topic, boys.
- 1:01:16Finalists here to take on the King best touchdown celebrations
- 1:01:22of all time. We talked a little bit about
- 1:01:24some cellies earlier tonight. I want to hear what you think
- 1:01:28the best ones you've ever seen were in the history of the.
- 1:01:33NFL I got you on this one. Errol, tell us who is starting
- 1:01:38off. Let's go, Jake.
- 1:01:41All right, so this is just back and forth.
- 1:01:43No one's going to go twice in a row.
- 1:01:44Perfect. Oh yeah.
- 1:01:45So for my first one, pretty obvious, I'm going to have to
- 1:01:48just go with the Gronk spike. You know, it's pretty iconic.
- 1:01:51You know, Robert Cassie kind of became the pioneer of doing the
- 1:01:54Spike, and now you see tons of wide receivers, running backs
- 1:01:57and, you know, other tight ends do the same pose all the time.
- 1:02:00But no one really did it like Rock just with his personality.
- 1:02:03And you wonder if he's up there all the all the time, but you
- 1:02:05know, he's always at the spike on point.
- 1:02:08Goody. Right here bro pour.
- 1:02:11Some milk out of somebody's butt.
- 1:02:13Marching on rants hold my Dick #1.
- 1:02:18I wish that looked better on camera.
- 1:02:19Than what you did. But it.
- 1:02:21Was marched on Lynch, OH. Yeah, you're talking jumping
- 1:02:26into the end zone, grabbing the crotch.
- 1:02:28Let's. Not #1 And nobody did it better
- 1:02:32than him. When he did it on the Beast
- 1:02:35Quake, it was the best thing ever.
- 1:02:36It's. True, he's the best.
- 1:02:37He's the best. He does his own shows now.
- 1:02:39He ain't powered pellets. He does it all.
- 1:02:41He's. The best Marshall against.
- 1:02:43Only football jersey I'd probably get a.
- 1:02:46Lot of Skittles, Jake. For my second one, I'm going to
- 1:02:50go with the the iconic, the Lambo Elite.
- 1:02:53It's kind of a little bit of a trick or a little bit of a
- 1:02:55cheat, I guess. But it's for any player.
- 1:02:57It's pretty much, you know, it's named after the stadium, the
- 1:02:59iconic moment, Green Bay Packers players score, touchdown,
- 1:03:02offense or defense. They run up into the crowd, they
- 1:03:04jump in there and celebrate. And, you know, it's pretty
- 1:03:06iconic moment for any Green Bay Packer.
- 1:03:09And, you know, of course, you have the fans interacting with
- 1:03:10them. And when opposing players try to
- 1:03:12do it, they shove them down back in the stadium, almost like, how
- 1:03:15dare you jump into the crowd and have fun with our team.
- 1:03:17Yeah. So, you know, it's a great
- 1:03:18moment, amazing celebration after iconic stadium and iconic,
- 1:03:22yeah, the Lambo leap. Man, it was invented by the guy
- 1:03:26that was on our show, Leroy Butler.
- 1:03:28Yeah, it is the original Lambo, right?
- 1:03:32Right. There, look at him go, just so
- 1:03:34excited, happy. Goody.
- 1:03:37That was cool and all, but nothing topped Terrell Owens.
- 1:03:41Ripping out the sharpie and signing for some people.
- 1:03:48Terrell Owens touchdown celebration.
- 1:03:51He blended performance with his ego and changed how TDs were
- 1:03:57celebrated. Gave way to my man Marshawn
- 1:04:00Lynch. HMD Tyrell Owens set the stage.
- 1:04:05He's an all time great. Breaking news, Goody has no
- 1:04:09Woody all. Right, Jake?
- 1:04:12All right, so for my final pick, I got to go with another back to
- 1:04:15the NFC North. I got to go with the iconic
- 1:04:17Randy Moss, the mooding of the Green Bay Packers fans and
- 1:04:21pretty much just made by the call Joe book, this disgusting
- 1:04:25act by by Randy Moss. I think it just puts the cherry
- 1:04:28on top. It's fantastic.
- 1:04:30It's just so funny because it's like it's back in the day too,
- 1:04:32when you wouldn't get fined for penalties and taunting and
- 1:04:35having a little bit of fun. Like it built rivalries and it's
- 1:04:37just a hilarious celebration at a time where football, you're
- 1:04:41allowed to have fun, you're allowed to talk shit.
- 1:04:43So. I got to go back off now.
- 1:04:46That's a good one. Randy Moss was one of my
- 1:04:47favorites. Finish it.
- 1:04:50Are you saying I should pick? Him.
- 1:04:53I'm going with the king of the props, Chad Ocho Cinco.
- 1:04:58Do you remember him? He proposed to, I don't think.
- 1:05:01Do you? Remember him?
- 1:05:04He used the pylon of the butter. And does anybody remember when
- 1:05:08he wore the future Hall of Fame jacket?
- 1:05:10The Hall of Fame, huh? Future Hall of Fame jacket?
- 1:05:15Chad Ocho Cinco was creative. He brought a little flair.
- 1:05:20He brought a little comedic relief to the game and
- 1:05:23unpredictable. He was a true showman number.
- 1:05:26I hope not it. Was 8885 one of the 80s is
- 1:05:31fantastic. All right, Errol, there's a
- 1:05:34couple of ones. I didn't hear the Joe Horn cell
- 1:05:36phone pulling it out of the pads.
- 1:05:38That'll be my next one on the list.
- 1:05:40Tony Gonzalez always dunked the ball over the goal posts and
- 1:05:43that's illegal now because nobody could do it like Tony
- 1:05:46Gonzalez and of course the Victor Cruz.
- 1:05:48Salsa. Yeah, but how about Antonio
- 1:05:50Brown ripping the ripping the shit off and twerking?
- 1:05:53Remember when he twerked? Throwing up the.
- 1:05:56Odell peeing on the fire hydrant, some people might
- 1:05:58remember. Yeah, what about The Dirty bird?
- 1:06:03Dirty Birds a good one. Icky Shuffles a good one.
- 1:06:06There are a lot of good ones in history, but it's up to Errol
- 1:06:09Marx who won that battle. Then we'll take on the king.
- 1:06:14All right, I, I like Jake, but I'm going to go with the the
- 1:06:17goofball himself. Mr. I'm going to read off the
- 1:06:21computer. Mr. I know everything and don't
- 1:06:24know what number Chad Ocho Cinco was actually wearing.
- 1:06:28Oh, it was in the 80s. It was in the 80s.
- 1:06:31It was in Ocho Cinco. Spanish.
- 1:06:34Yeah. It's actually.
- 1:06:37It's poor Spanish in phonetic Spanish.
- 1:06:39It's ochente E cinco, but he he said like, no, I'm going to do
- 1:06:42ocho cinco just to be different. Americans real Spanish.
- 1:06:45For us Mexicans, it's Ocho you're.
- 1:06:48Such a good ball. I'm going to go with Goodies.
- 1:06:50A good point. You know this fake stuff that's
- 1:06:52going on here I'm trying to lose at this point.
- 1:06:54All right, we're going. We're going into the last round,
- 1:06:58everybody back in that played. We're going to be the deciding
- 1:07:01votes for this. I'm trying to lose.
- 1:07:06Here we go, take on the King. The topic tonight, worst plays
- 1:07:12of all time. There are some historic blunders
- 1:07:17that we can all think of. If you guys are trying to lose,
- 1:07:21no one lost worse than on these plays.
- 1:07:24Time to take on the King. Errol, would you like to start?
- 1:07:28I'll start. I've got 1.
- 1:07:30I've got a good one, I've got 1. I've got 1 Jose freaking Canseco
- 1:07:36going out there and trying to catch an outfield ball and hits
- 1:07:41him on the top of the head and there is a home run.
- 1:07:45That was the one that really pops out.
- 1:07:47What a ridiculous play, one that stood out for me from all the
- 1:07:51baseball things. Jose Canseco, I'm going with
- 1:07:54that. Hit him on the top of the head.
- 1:07:57Well, we, we could say worst place, I meant football, but you
- 1:08:01know, we could definitely do that because he's built like a
- 1:08:02football player and it is the worst play in the history of
- 1:08:05baseball. Well, because if we're talking
- 1:08:06about worst Place we got to go, there's a documentary, I think
- 1:08:09it's on Prime, maybe Netflix, called The Fab 5.
- 1:08:13You guys ever seen it? Yeah, I have.
- 1:08:16Yeah, you remember when Chris Webber called the fake timeout?
- 1:08:21No timeouts left and Weber calls a a fake timeout during the
- 1:08:26crunch time of the national championship game.
- 1:08:28Absolutely blows it automatic teed up it it sealed Michigan's
- 1:08:34fate. It was terrible loss to UNC.
- 1:08:37Once again. You want to talk about terrible
- 1:08:40plays? This one lost the championship.
- 1:08:42Jose Canseco's just cost them a meaningless game and be like
- 1:08:45what? June.
- 1:08:47This is the natty. He blew the natty on a technical
- 1:08:50foul right there, trying to get beat up, trying to time out.
- 1:08:54Maybe if the coach actually told him there was no more timeouts.
- 1:08:59Hey, remember, hey, remember, Aaron Boone isn't going up the
- 1:09:02hit. Aaron Boone not going up the
- 1:09:04hit. Aaron Boone is not going up.
- 1:09:06The coach is not playing basketball.
- 1:09:09You got to know these things. You got to have an internal
- 1:09:11clock. Let's go.
- 1:09:12I got another one on deck. I remember.
- 1:09:13You want to talk about shitty plays?
- 1:09:15I got them all. All right, let's go back to King
- 1:09:17Errol. All right, I'm going to go The
- 1:09:19Miracle at the Meadowlands. Does anybody remember that?
- 1:09:23I think Giant fans, I think Giant fans remember it.
- 1:09:26It was seconds left of the game, a comfortable lead.
- 1:09:29The New York Giants decided to run a play instead of kneeling
- 1:09:33and ending the game as the quarterback decided to make a
- 1:09:37play, and Philadelphia winded up, returning a touchdown and
- 1:09:42winning the game. Does that Anybody remember that
- 1:09:44stunning victory by the? Who won?
- 1:09:46The Eagles return the touchdown. Ah, that's a good question, I
- 1:09:49forgot. Jets coach.
- 1:09:51Herm Herm Edwards. Herm the worm got him.
- 1:09:55Herm the worm. I don't think that was his
- 1:09:57nickname, but Nick Goody second pick.
- 1:10:01All right, this one sucks because he's a good guy and he
- 1:10:07just happened to make an error in the 1986 World Series.
- 1:10:13Bill Buckner's missed ground ball.
- 1:10:16We all know it, cursed the Red Sox forever.
- 1:10:20The Red Sox were literally one out away from from from ending
- 1:10:25their World Series drought. And what happens?
- 1:10:27Ball gets chopped down the line. Billy Bucks goes over to field.
- 1:10:30It takes a bad hop, goes through his legs.
- 1:10:33Next thing you know, we got another 100 years of non World
- 1:10:36Series championships until my man Tito came over and snapped
- 1:10:39that drought. It was a routine grounder.
- 1:10:41Game six blew it. Billy Buckner, the fans in
- 1:10:45Austin hated him for it for years until he, you know, and he
- 1:10:48had to move to isolation. I don't know if you know this or
- 1:10:50not, but he's out in isolation somewhere in the country.
- 1:10:54Came back, fans love him. They forgave him once they won
- 1:10:58the World Series. But heartbreaking.
- 1:11:00Heartbroken for that guy. Last round King Errol.
- 1:11:04You do it. Should I go baseball?
- 1:11:06Should I go football? What would you guys?
- 1:11:08Up to you. You're the king.
- 1:11:09What? Would you?
- 1:11:09What would you go? Do you want me to go?
- 1:11:10Baseball. I personally wanted football,
- 1:11:13but since goodies I haven't done football yet.
- 1:11:15You don't have to. I'm going.
- 1:11:17To. I'm going to.
- 1:11:19I'm going to go football because we're talking football.
- 1:11:22I remember it. I think everybody and every Jet
- 1:11:24fan remembers the one and only Butt Fumble.
- 1:11:27Quarterback Mark Sanchez, as everybody knows, decided to do
- 1:11:32something very, very stupid directly in.
- 1:11:35He ran directly into his offensive lineman and obviously
- 1:11:39butt fumble and cost The Jets practically the game.
- 1:11:44I mean, that was a horrible. And guess who they did it
- 1:11:46against? Does anybody remember?
- 1:11:47Yeah. The New England Patriots put it
- 1:11:49up for you. The New England Patriots talks
- 1:11:51about it all the time when he comes on herself.
- 1:11:52Yeah, the New England Patriots, just an absolute debacle.
- 1:11:56Yeah, that that stood out to me. Put it up.
- 1:11:59I want to see this butt fumble. It was glitchy.
- 1:12:03We got a Oh my gosh, he took it right in the.
- 1:12:05Face Nobody remembers March Sanchez taking The Jets to
- 1:12:10back-to-back AC title games No, the only thing they remember is
- 1:12:13him running into his offensive lineman and causing a touchdown.
- 1:12:18So. And he couldn't figure out how
- 1:12:21to slide either. No, they have to call Joe
- 1:12:24Girardi. Joe Girardi, which never never
- 1:12:27worked either. So thank you, Mark, for on
- 1:12:30eating hot dogs on the sidelines too.
- 1:12:32Wonderful. Absolutely wonderful.
- 1:12:34Have you ever seen a quarterback sit there and eat a hot dog on
- 1:12:37the sidelines during a game? No, Mark Sanchez.
- 1:12:39Absolutely. And then his own coach gets a
- 1:12:41picture. Well, gets gets on his ankle or
- 1:12:44his leg, a picture of his quarterback.
- 1:12:46Yeah, that was great. All right, last one.
- 1:12:51Goody rounded off all. Right there we go.
- 1:12:55This is one of the most biggest mental blunders ever.
- 1:12:59This player was actually celebrated when he scored for
- 1:13:03the other team. I'm talking about Jimmy
- 1:13:06Marshall. We know Jimmy Marshall of 1964
- 1:13:10Vikings versus the 49ers. All right.
- 1:13:13Jimbo. Marshall.
- 1:13:15Recovered a fumble. Do you know what?
- 1:13:20This guy's you guys laughing? I don't know how.
- 1:13:22Many What year is it? 64.
- 1:13:28Hey, I have the I have the NFL Beatlemania here all the time.
- 1:13:33I watched all the old games. I watch all the clips they are
- 1:13:36playing up there. Biggest one that Marshall was on
- 1:13:40there. This guy had 64 yards to realize
- 1:13:43he was running 66 yards. Excuse me, did you realize he
- 1:13:46was running the wrong way, OK, and ended up running into the
- 1:13:50wrong end zone? Got celebrated.
- 1:13:52This is an absolute travesty for my man Jimbo.
- 1:13:55But you know what? He recovered and he made it.
- 1:13:57Had himself a nice little career, but what an absolute
- 1:14:00disaster. He runs 66 yards in the opposite
- 1:14:03direction, first as a defensive business, just too far.
- 1:14:06So, you know, at some point you would think, look at the
- 1:14:10sideline. I guess he just was excited to
- 1:14:12actually touch the ball for once.
- 1:14:14And yeah, yeah, who did he score?
- 1:14:16Who did? Who did he do it against?
- 1:14:18Who did he do it against? The Marshall against the 49ers
- 1:14:21and 64. My dad told me about it.
- 1:14:24Yeah, I'm sure he did. All right, let's get our votes
- 1:14:29in for the winner. I'm voting for Errol.
- 1:14:32I think the Miracle of the Meadowlands is the worst play in
- 1:14:36the history. Of we know who you're voting.
- 1:14:37For victory formation invented because of it.
- 1:14:41The butt fumble. The most embarrassing play I've
- 1:14:44seen. Probably the most in New York
- 1:14:45history, honestly. It's I mean the miracle
- 1:14:49Meadowlands changed like how everyone if it ends football
- 1:14:52games. So it's completely, you know,
- 1:14:54ridiculous. I would have put Joe Judge's QB
- 1:14:56sneak on 3rd down up there I was.
- 1:14:58Going to use. You know the worst plays of all
- 1:15:00time. It got him fired and he like
- 1:15:02right after they said he was safe.
- 1:15:04Yes, so so like that's up there. But goody, I did love the
- 1:15:09Buckner. I mean Buckner's so legendary.
- 1:15:11I just I was looking for more football type stuff.
- 1:15:14Well, maybe Jimmy Marshall like that.
- 1:15:16Jimmy Marshall wasn't the football I was expecting, but
- 1:15:20great research. Speedy, what do you got?
- 1:15:24Yeah, I think, I think Errol had the going first, the advantage
- 1:15:28to take the Conseco, which is definitely the biggest baseball
- 1:15:30blunder I can. Remember, come on, you didn't
- 1:15:32think that was a blunder? I mean, anytime, anytime you see
- 1:15:35a baseball blunder, that's the one that pops up and that's what
- 1:15:38Jose can take. Besides the steroids, that's all
- 1:15:41anybody remembers is. That is not the biggest blur.
- 1:15:45Freaking Bill Buckner blew it in the World Series on a routine
- 1:15:48ground ball. Are you shitting me?
- 1:15:50This means nothing. This game means absolutely
- 1:15:53nothing. I mean, it's, it's so
- 1:15:55embarrassing though, Goody. If anything, it's a, it's a,
- 1:15:58it's AE 9 and then goes over. Centerfielders laughing at him.
- 1:16:04Home run. Goes oh but it hits him so it's
- 1:16:07an E9. Crazy.
- 1:16:08Part that's that's not a home run, by the way.
- 1:16:11It's not. He didn't get credit for a home
- 1:16:12run, no. But.
- 1:16:13That really was a gram rule. Double.
- 1:16:15Yep, there you go. Technically, yeah, it's over the
- 1:16:19fence, but the air, So technically it goes as a single,
- 1:16:22It goes as a single in a three base air.
- 1:16:25That's interesting, I didn't. Know that, but not that big of a
- 1:16:28blunder. Bill Buckner blew the World
- 1:16:30Series. Speedy learned goodness.
- 1:16:35All right, that's 20, Jabba, who you got?
- 1:16:36I go goody on this one because that I mean the butt fumble was
- 1:16:40good and Mark was a good friend of mine and he embraced it and
- 1:16:44he was a full blown idiot. We should.
- 1:16:46Mute his mic just from that. No, and he's matured these days.
- 1:16:52I I had to pull him out of some sketchy situations.
- 1:16:55I'm sure you did. Yeah, but I mean the World
- 1:16:58Series. That's.
- 1:16:59That's that's huge to do it in that that that's awful.
- 1:17:04You know who started that game, by the way?
- 1:17:05Goody. It's the absolute worst.
- 1:17:08You know who started that game? Yum Yum.
- 1:17:11Anybody but for the Red Sox and the and the Mets.
- 1:17:14Yep, started Game 6. Yep.
- 1:17:19I know. I'll probably have his card.
- 1:17:24Was it cone? Roger Clemens.
- 1:17:27Well, I mean for the Mets. Oh, I got shit I don't.
- 1:17:30I could care less about the. Mets and Thicket.
- 1:17:33Well, they won the game. Who wasn't?
- 1:17:34Well, I think it was Sid Fernandez who started.
- 1:17:36From Sid Fernandez. Yeah, Stephen Rodman, we went.
- 1:17:39From all right and I guess Jake going to.
- 1:17:43You yeah. So I'm actually I'm also going
- 1:17:44to go with Goody. I think the arrows the moment
- 1:17:47they say their moments were good, but if you look at the
- 1:17:49butt fumble and that can say go the Bob off the head of the
- 1:17:52moments. I think they're more remembered
- 1:17:54as like memes, like they are hilarious in their bad moments.
- 1:17:56When you talk about you, you know, the fab 5, you talk about
- 1:17:59the losing of the natty and off of a like a time out and then
- 1:18:03also as well as, you know, blowing with the ground.
- 1:18:05We were just talking about with the Yankees a lot, you know,
- 1:18:07routine, you know, just put the ball in play place.
- 1:18:09You should make and you blow a World Series.
- 1:18:11I mean that's pretty rough. So I don't know we're going to
- 1:18:13do that. We got a tie.
- 1:18:14Bring someone. Out.
- 1:18:15I did think we were doing football here.
- 1:18:18I mean I bought 1 baseball. Too, but then fish.
- 1:18:22You're the one that started it. You brought up.
- 1:18:24Baseball. It was a good take, so I didn't
- 1:18:27stop you, but let's get Tommy Scoops in here to be the
- 1:18:31tiebreaker. The Fab 5 documentary is
- 1:18:35actually fantastic. I had to watch it for school
- 1:18:38like last year because I just, you know, just graduated.
- 1:18:41But it is what it is. Yum Yum good.
- 1:18:43All good. You're not going to like me,
- 1:18:46but. I got to go.
- 1:18:47With Darrell on this only for the fact.
- 1:18:48That yeah, look at the three New Yorkers.
- 1:18:50You see what I'm saying? Look at we call those guys lamb
- 1:18:54bones, which means brown noses. They're kiss asses, Speedy.
- 1:18:57Mom, you said they're. Good job.
- 1:18:59Look at Tommy. Shits over there, down in the
- 1:19:04corner. He's over here just shitting.
- 1:19:06Himself, Scoop sits on the sitter.
