- 0:01Speaker 1: You're listening to Bill Handle on demand from kf I
- 0:04Speaker 1: AM six forty.
- 0:12Speaker 2: Although God really likes Jehovah's Witnesses.
- 0:14Speaker 3: You know they're gonna be one of the few few
- 0:17Speaker 3: organizations that are gonna survive the next big earthquake because
- 0:21Speaker 3: they're already in every doorway in America.
- 0:26Speaker 1: And now Handle on the news, ladies and gentlemen, here's
- 0:31Speaker 1: Bill Handley.
- 0:33Speaker 3: It's Thursday morning, April second, April, Fool's Day plus one.
- 0:41Speaker 2: And let's say hello, there's Neil. Good morning.
- 0:47Speaker 3: Yeah, who came aboard ten seconds before we started? Well
- 0:51Speaker 3: on zoom, Yeah.
- 0:53Speaker 2: On zoom.
- 0:54Speaker 3: That's true because we zoom when I broadcast out of
- 0:58Speaker 3: the house, we zoom each other. And I've explained it. Yeah,
- 1:02Speaker 3: exped that's a fur by the way to zoom. We
- 1:06Speaker 3: have zoomed. It has all kinds of connotations that you
- 1:10Speaker 3: generally have to see a doctor after the fact. All right, kno,
- 1:14Speaker 3: there you are, and uh Will Coleschreiverer, good morning, Good morning,
- 1:21Speaker 3: Bill and Amy with a Disney with Disney Apparel on
- 1:26Speaker 3: good morning.
- 1:27Speaker 4: I haven't worn Disney for a while.
- 1:28Speaker 3: Yeah, you know, I don't want to sound personal, and
- 1:32Speaker 3: I don't and you know, do you have Disney underwear?
- 1:36Speaker 2: I do not too far. I don't believe it. I
- 1:41Speaker 2: do not.
- 1:42Speaker 5: You can't, No, I know, I get that.
- 1:45Speaker 2: No, I get that.
- 1:46Speaker 6: No, yes, but still okay, eighteen day countdown to the date.
- 1:55Speaker 4: We're going to Disneyland.
- 1:56Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm going with Amy and my daughter and her
- 2:01Speaker 3: new paramore, who who she met one week after leaving
- 2:08Speaker 3: her husband of ten months.
- 2:10Speaker 7: You've raised those children so well.
- 2:13Speaker 2: Now.
- 2:13Speaker 3: The good news is she didn't leave her husband for
- 2:16Speaker 3: this guy. She met him after it was a fairly
- 2:21Speaker 3: long period between the two. You know how people don't
- 2:24Speaker 3: they wait for the rebound, and people who are smart,
- 2:27Speaker 3: one week is not particularly a rebound. I mean, that's
- 2:31Speaker 3: long enough, isn't it that. Anyways, I'm taking him, and
- 2:34Speaker 3: I'm taking my daughter and taking my other daughter, and
- 2:37Speaker 3: I'm going with Amy because Amy knows the park. It's
- 2:42Speaker 3: good to have people around you that know when to
- 2:45Speaker 3: go on the rides, where to go, and just know
- 2:48Speaker 3: where everything is. So Amy is going to do that
- 2:53Speaker 3: for us. I'm very excited about that, and I am
- 2:55Speaker 3: by the way, it should be fun. Yeah, we've never
- 2:58Speaker 3: actually socialized together, have we.
- 3:02Speaker 5: I think we actually we went to lunch one time
- 3:05Speaker 5: about ten years ago, and then you forgot. Next time
- 3:07Speaker 5: you saw me, you said, Hi, have we met before?
- 3:09Speaker 2: Well?
- 3:10Speaker 3: Yeah, I do that on a regular basis, and every
- 3:12Speaker 3: time someone new comes aboard.
- 3:14Speaker 2: And what did I say the first time I met you?
- 3:16Speaker 2: Do you remember?
- 3:19Speaker 3: No, I say that to everybody that I meet. You're
- 3:21Speaker 3: not going to last a week. I do that as
- 3:24Speaker 3: a matter of course.
- 3:26Speaker 2: Okay, I'm sure I said that. And did I say
- 3:30Speaker 2: that to you? Yeah?
- 3:31Speaker 3: You did, I'm sure I did. Cono, did I say
- 3:34Speaker 3: that to you? Okay, yeah, Neil, did I say that
- 3:39Speaker 3: to you?
- 3:39Speaker 7: I think you said two weeks?
- 3:42Speaker 2: I said two weeks?
- 3:43Speaker 3: And then, oh, guy, I remember we had a screener
- 3:46Speaker 3: who was a pretty religious guy who I always take
- 3:50Speaker 3: people to lunch first time out, and he a screener
- 3:54Speaker 3: on the show, and we went to lunch downstairs when
- 3:58Speaker 3: there was a restaurant there, and as we're about to eat,
- 4:02Speaker 3: he starts praying, Oh Jesus, thank you for the food
- 4:06Speaker 3: we are about to eat. I take out my credit
- 4:09Speaker 3: card and I say, whose name is on this credit card?
- 4:13Speaker 3: Do you see Jesus's name or do you see my name?
- 4:17Speaker 3: Who do you think for paying for this meal. Do
- 4:20Speaker 3: you think Jesus or do you think me? The day
- 4:23Speaker 3: you see Jesus on a credit card, will start talking. Okay,
- 4:27Speaker 3: until then, I don't want to hear it.
- 4:30Speaker 2: I like religion. I appreciate religious folks, I do. Okay.
- 4:38Speaker 2: And did I say good morning? I did say good
- 4:40Speaker 2: morning to Will? Didn't I?
- 4:41Speaker 7: Oh? Yes, okay?
- 4:42Speaker 2: Goodnough? Do you know you? I wasn't able to say, Ooh,
- 4:46Speaker 2: you won't last a week? Did I?
- 4:48Speaker 7: No? You didn't?
- 4:49Speaker 3: Oh?
- 4:49Speaker 2: And and I haven't taken you to lunch? Have I?
- 4:51Speaker 3: No, you haven't or cono apparently a pardon or kono
- 4:55Speaker 3: apparently you haven't taken him to lunch?
- 4:57Speaker 2: Wow, okay, I'll do the two of you. Well, there's
- 4:59Speaker 2: a Winners.
- 5:00Speaker 3: It's down the street that has some of the best
- 5:03Speaker 3: corn dogs in the world.
- 5:04Speaker 2: Actually sounds awesome, it is. I mean, they're phenomenal, and
- 5:09Speaker 2: you get that.
- 5:10Speaker 3: I like their chili dogs when you can get eight
- 5:12Speaker 3: for a dollar and they are so good and very
- 5:16Speaker 3: high quality. I might add, okay, we have a lot
- 5:20Speaker 3: to talk about today. Yesterday was a big, big day,
- 5:23Speaker 3: as we said, very busy, and today is the aftermath
- 5:27Speaker 3: of that busy day. So let's start with some pretty
- 5:31Speaker 3: good news. Handle on the news, Amy Neil and me. Well,
- 5:39Speaker 3: the astronauts took off in a flawless launch yesterday on
- 5:44Speaker 3: the way to the moon. You know, they made a
- 5:46Speaker 3: very big, big deal. I'm talking about all of the
- 5:50Speaker 3: newscasters that we haven't been there in fifty years.
- 5:54Speaker 2: And now we're going around the moon.
- 5:56Speaker 3: The only fun part of this, I mean, it was
- 5:59Speaker 3: absolutely flaw us except the toilet wasn't working. Did you
- 6:04Speaker 3: notice that, Amy, You reported on that, didn't you.
- 6:10Speaker 5: I had heard that the toilet wasn't working, but I
- 6:12Speaker 5: really just wasn't.
- 6:13Speaker 3: Yeah, the toilet is working, and you know now it
- 6:17Speaker 3: must yeah I think it is now. But you when
- 6:21Speaker 3: you hear upon a successful anything, Artemist two, you got
- 6:25Speaker 3: a bunch of guys here who are so relieved. And
- 6:28Speaker 3: in this case, yeah, I know, in this case you
- 6:31Speaker 3: heard Artemis two. You have a bunch of guys here
- 6:34Speaker 3: who are throwing up, fix that damn toilet.
- 6:38Speaker 2: And they did, and they did they have a toilet?
- 6:42Speaker 4: They didn't.
- 6:43Speaker 3: Yeah, they do the original you know how originally they
- 6:46Speaker 3: murk your astronauts like Cooper who was up there for
- 6:50Speaker 3: eighteen days or something crazy you know how they handle that.
- 6:55Speaker 4: Big old poopy diaper.
- 6:56Speaker 3: Yeah, diapers. Yeah, that was diapers and Alan Shepherd the
- 7:02Speaker 3: first little factoid here, Alan Shepherd, who was the first
- 7:08Speaker 3: American astronaut who did a suborbital flight. He was the
- 7:11Speaker 3: first of the Mercury seven to fly in space sort
- 7:14Speaker 3: of uh, and he was on the on in the capsule.
- 7:19Speaker 3: It was four hour wait because they were all kinds
- 7:22Speaker 3: of glitches and man, he couldn't take it anymore. He
- 7:25Speaker 3: just started peeing and the diaper overfilled because they hadn't
- 7:32Speaker 3: quite figured it out.
- 7:33Speaker 2: So he's on his back.
- 7:35Speaker 3: He is sitting in a pile of urine, and the
- 7:40Speaker 3: monitors that the ground control had and the monitor the
- 7:44Speaker 3: whole body were buzzing off like crazy. They were short circuiting.
- 7:48Speaker 3: And it's a great story. Okay, moving on.
- 7:52Speaker 5: We've really just diminished all of the mystique of the astronauts.
- 7:58Speaker 3: Wait, I live for that, Amy, I live for the shield.
- 8:04Speaker 3: I'm sorry, well, but that's perfect heat. The heat child
- 8:09Speaker 3: was John Glenn.
- 8:10Speaker 7: No, no, you were going to go straight to the
- 8:12Speaker 7: poopy poop poop.
- 8:13Speaker 2: Yeah, well of course I went to the No.
- 8:15Speaker 3: I went Yeah, first poopy poop, then and then peep
- 8:18Speaker 3: and then peepp uh, and then we're on our way
- 8:21Speaker 3: to the moon and the toilet. The other thing about
- 8:24Speaker 3: the toilet is, since it's so cramped up, obviously they
- 8:29Speaker 3: you know, cover up the toilet space, I think. But
- 8:33Speaker 3: I'm the sure they put some kind of a curtain
- 8:35Speaker 3: around there. What do you do about sound effects? And
- 8:39Speaker 3: I don't know the answer.
- 8:40Speaker 7: I thought, in space, no one can hear you scream.
- 8:43Speaker 3: Well inside the capsule, they sure as hell can. Ah,
- 8:46Speaker 3: there's the rub Yeah.
- 8:48Speaker 2: So what so what happens?
- 8:51Speaker 3: We had a guy in one of the parties leave
- 8:53Speaker 3: the bathroom and close the door and goda, And I'm
- 8:58Speaker 3: thinking maybe maybe they do that on the spacecraft.
- 9:01Speaker 2: Okay, let's do another one and then we'll take a break.
- 9:05Speaker 5: Amy finishing epic fury. President Trump held a national address
- 9:11Speaker 5: from the White House last night, said US forces are
- 9:13Speaker 5: going to finish the job inner Ron as soon as
- 9:16Speaker 5: core objectives are nearing completion.
- 9:20Speaker 3: Yeah, I'm going to talk more about that at seven o'clock.
- 9:23Speaker 3: And no surprises at all. But man, there was one
- 9:26Speaker 3: story contradicted by the next story, contradicted by the next story,
- 9:30Speaker 3: and the I think the big story here is what's
- 9:34Speaker 3: happening around the world and even his supporters and the outcome,
- 9:39Speaker 3: and that's becoming no surprise. That's at seven o'clock coming
- 9:42Speaker 3: up more hand on the news with Amy Neil and me.
- 9:47Speaker 3: All Right, nicely done. Snow's melting, that's it, Okay, excellent.
- 9:56Speaker 3: Next it's going to be hotter than hell. Snow is melting.
- 9:58Speaker 3: And we're taking their snow survey. They do this across
- 10:01Speaker 3: America here in the West, and they're looking at this
- 10:04Speaker 3: and they're going, wow, we have this historically warm winter,
- 10:08Speaker 3: uh and these super hard and hot March temperatures.
- 10:13Speaker 7: So the snow pack, yeah, in uncharted territory yep.
- 10:18Speaker 3: And we we've talked about it before. The technology and
- 10:21Speaker 3: measuring the snowpack is some guy stands up there with
- 10:24Speaker 3: a stick, a yard stick and puts it into the
- 10:28Speaker 3: snow all the way until it hits the ground and
- 10:30Speaker 3: there's your snow pack.
- 10:33Speaker 5: The good news, though, is that we got so much
- 10:36Speaker 5: rain that that's supposed to keep us going through the summer.
- 10:41Speaker 2: Yep.
- 10:41Speaker 3: But we'll see what the yeah, we'll see what we're doing.
- 10:45Speaker 3: All it does is delay. All it does is delay.
- 10:47Speaker 3: According to delays, the super drought where we basically burn up.
- 10:52Speaker 3: And that's what climatologists are telling us, the meteorologists people,
- 10:56Speaker 3: and will Is Noddy.
- 10:57Speaker 4: That's what Paradise did too.
- 11:00Speaker 2: Yeah, it'd burned up.
- 11:02Speaker 5: No, the show Paradise, not Paradise like you know Adam
- 11:05Speaker 5: and Paradise.
- 11:06Speaker 2: Oh oh yeah, I know that, yeah exactly, Okay.
- 11:11Speaker 5: Joining forces on how to handle hor moves.
- 11:15Speaker 4: About three dozen countries.
- 11:17Speaker 5: They are going to be meeting today to try to
- 11:19Speaker 5: figure out how they can put diplomatic and political pressure
- 11:23Speaker 5: on to get the Strait of Horror Moves reopened. British
- 11:27Speaker 5: Prime Minister Keir Starmer is going to be part of
- 11:31Speaker 5: the virtual meeting to assess viable diplomatic and political measures
- 11:36Speaker 5: we can take to restore freedom of navigation, guarantee the
- 11:38Speaker 5: safety of trapped ships and seafarers, and resume movement of
- 11:43Speaker 5: vital commodities. Those vital commodities are oil and fertilizer too.
- 11:48Speaker 2: So how do you do that? How do they do that?
- 11:51Speaker 3: With the war continuing on and the only ammunition that
- 11:56Speaker 3: Iran really has is blocking the Strait of Horror moves,
- 12:00Speaker 3: and that once the Strait is opened up, that's it's
- 12:06Speaker 3: lost all of its leverage. Iran still has some with
- 12:09Speaker 3: the shooting and with the drones and the missiles, but
- 12:12Speaker 3: nothing like the straight of horror movie. So we'll see
- 12:14Speaker 3: what happens. It's going to be a virtual meeting. It's
- 12:16Speaker 3: going to be a I wonder if they use zoom
- 12:18Speaker 3: or teams. What do you think they use?
- 12:22Speaker 4: I'm guessing it'd be zoom, do you think so?
- 12:24Speaker 2: Yeah, some kind of encrypted Can you encrypt zoom?
- 12:29Speaker 7: Encrypt anything?
- 12:31Speaker 2: Yeah, I don't know, that's the question. I don't know
- 12:33Speaker 2: the answer to that. We'll find that out or we won't.
- 12:37Speaker 6: Well, my fellow fatties, something new is on the horizon.
- 12:42Speaker 6: Food and Drug Administration yesterday approved a new weight loss pill.
- 12:47Speaker 6: This is the second because of course we had the
- 12:50Speaker 6: wa goov pill coming out, but now they have this
- 12:54Speaker 6: other one and the pill or for glypra.
- 13:01Speaker 7: When this STU first came out, that's be gone.
- 13:04Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 13:05Speaker 3: Well, you know, I had surmised and anticipated that when
- 13:09Speaker 3: this magic bullet of a pill, which this basically is,
- 13:12Speaker 3: whichever company comes up with this is it's a trillion
- 13:16Speaker 3: dollar market. Well, so many companies come up with this.
- 13:20Speaker 3: It's now literally they're doing each other to lower the
- 13:23Speaker 3: price and there are some drugs that you spend four
- 13:27Speaker 3: thousand dollars a month, five thousand dollars a month, ten
- 13:31Speaker 3: thousand dollars a month because it's the only drug out there.
- 13:34Speaker 2: You're doing this for one hundred and fifty bucks a month.
- 13:37Speaker 3: Not that that isn't a lot of money, but just
- 13:39Speaker 3: the money you save in eating is probably more than
- 13:42Speaker 3: the cost of the drug.
- 13:43Speaker 7: But it's forever. I mean, you have to we the pill.
- 13:45Speaker 3: Yeah, you got to keep on taking the pill, but
- 13:47Speaker 3: you can also keep it at very low levels too.
- 13:52Speaker 7: Yes, there's multiple levels that they know.
- 13:54Speaker 3: But I'm saying once, once it's kicked in, you can
- 13:57Speaker 3: what's called microdosing. That's what I hear from people who
- 14:02Speaker 3: are experts in the field as having taken it.
- 14:05Speaker 7: I thought that's what your wife called making love.
- 14:08Speaker 2: It's very very strong. I don't even know what that's about. No,
- 14:13Speaker 2: little boy, Yeah, I don't know. You know, I don't know.
- 14:16Speaker 3: I can't give you experience because I got married. Yeah,
- 14:19Speaker 3: you know, So it's done.
- 14:24Speaker 5: Star Trek comes to life, apparently so. Greg Phillips is
- 14:27Speaker 5: a senior official with FEMA, and he described in the
- 14:32Speaker 5: podcast last year several episodes in which he said he
- 14:35Speaker 5: was suddenly teleported miles away, including once to a waffle house.
- 14:41Speaker 4: Wait, I mun try it now fifty miles from where
- 14:44Speaker 4: he was.
- 14:44Speaker 2: Now, listen, I think I would.
- 14:47Speaker 3: You know, that was one of the things I was
- 14:49Speaker 3: most frightened of in this world, that boy, my god,
- 14:52Speaker 3: being teleported.
- 14:53Speaker 2: However, to a waffle house.
- 14:56Speaker 3: That changes the formula that all of a sudden, Okay,
- 15:00Speaker 3: that's not a bad idea to a waffle house. I mean,
- 15:03Speaker 3: this is a senior FEMA official, and come on, he's
- 15:08Speaker 3: teleported by aliens?
- 15:11Speaker 2: Please?
- 15:13Speaker 4: Did he say he was teleported by aliens? We teleported?
- 15:18Speaker 2: Yeah? Yeah. Oh. He also referred to a poem.
- 15:23Speaker 3: People ridiculing what they don't understand, and Jesus Christ rising
- 15:27Speaker 3: from the dead. I mean, that's just religion. Okay, I
- 15:29Speaker 3: can understand that part. But the teleportation, Yeah, you're right,
- 15:34Speaker 3: could have been the government have done that into area
- 15:38Speaker 3: fifty one. You're right, I just assuming that it was aliens,
- 15:41Speaker 3: you know, just aliens alone.
- 15:45Speaker 6: Jesus did not rise from the dead and go to
- 15:47Speaker 6: the waffle house, just he would have if he could.
- 15:51Speaker 5: Probably if it happened today, you never know.
- 15:55Speaker 6: Hershey's been getting a lot of pushback because well, people
- 15:59Speaker 6: perform prefer chocolate to be real chocolate. Yeah, Hershey's said
- 16:04Speaker 6: yesterday that it will use classic recipes for all their
- 16:10Speaker 6: Reese's products starting next year.
- 16:12Speaker 7: You gotta love.
- 16:13Speaker 3: That we're actually going to use. Yeah, you have to.
- 16:17Speaker 3: You know, it's uh and what there? And you know
- 16:21Speaker 3: how they say we're back to the original. We're trying
- 16:24Speaker 3: the recipe again. This one you're gonna see on the packaging.
- 16:28Speaker 3: We almost got away with.
- 16:29Speaker 6: It, right, Yeah, right, And I guess the grandson of
- 16:33Speaker 6: Reese's founder criticized the company for shifting to cheaper ingredients.
- 16:38Speaker 7: And this has been building up. I heard Amy talk
- 16:40Speaker 7: about it.
- 16:41Speaker 6: I mean, it's been a while that we've been talking
- 16:43Speaker 6: about the taste change in the formulation.
- 16:45Speaker 5: Yeah, because instead of like pure peanut butter, they use
- 16:48Speaker 5: like this peanut crema something or other, and there's other
- 16:52Speaker 5: stuff in the chocolate. It's not pure chocolate, and it
- 16:54Speaker 5: doesn't taste as good. It's still delicious, but not as good.
- 16:57Speaker 3: I went to law school with a guy who work
- 17:00Speaker 3: part time at Seas Candy, and they were downtown and
- 17:05Speaker 3: he talked about they use the finest quality butter and
- 17:09Speaker 3: milk and chocolate. I mean they never never wavered in
- 17:13Speaker 3: their quality, and which is why you buy a box
- 17:16Speaker 3: of Seas candies today and it's sixty three dollars a pound,
- 17:20Speaker 3: because that's what quality costs.
- 17:23Speaker 7: Worth every penny.
- 17:25Speaker 3: And they are expensive. But you're right, I mean that's
- 17:28Speaker 3: first class stuff. It really is.
- 17:30Speaker 6: If you look at it per pound of the chocolate,
- 17:33Speaker 6: it might not work out, But if you look at
- 17:35Speaker 6: it at how much you're pain per pound that goes
- 17:37Speaker 6: on your body, it's actually pretty reasonable.
- 17:40Speaker 2: I don't think so okay because they don't sell it. Oh,
- 17:44Speaker 2: they do sell it at cost. Go now you can
- 17:46Speaker 2: buy the certificates.
- 17:47Speaker 3: That's wrightened buy the gift cards for reesus, I mean
- 17:50Speaker 3: for Seas candy.
- 17:52Speaker 5: Shutdown could be over soon. Howse Speaker Mike Johnson and
- 17:57Speaker 5: Senate Majority Leader John Thune say that got a deal.
- 18:02Speaker 5: So basically, House Speaker Johnson says, the House is going
- 18:06Speaker 5: to pass the plan that's already been passed in the
- 18:09Speaker 5: Senate that doesn't include funding for ice and Customs and
- 18:12Speaker 5: border patrol, and then the Senate Majority Leader Thoon will
- 18:16Speaker 5: fast track of reconciliation measure that funds Ice and Customs
- 18:20Speaker 5: and border patrol without getting democratic support.
- 18:24Speaker 4: It's sort of an end around.
- 18:26Speaker 2: Yeah.
- 18:26Speaker 3: Is this the same speaker who said he'll never do
- 18:29Speaker 3: that and the Senate bill was a joke, and all
- 18:32Speaker 3: of a sudden, he's going to do that. And I'm
- 18:34Speaker 3: assuming he's not referring to that joke comment.
- 18:38Speaker 5: He's no, he said he wouldn't pass it if there
- 18:41Speaker 5: wasn't funding for it, but he's figured out a way
- 18:43Speaker 5: to pass it and fund customs and border patrol and ICE.
- 18:49Speaker 2: Yeah, but originally the Senate I think had that in
- 18:51Speaker 2: there too.
- 18:52Speaker 5: If I'm mill mistaken, Now the Senate bill doesn't have
- 18:54Speaker 5: funding for ICE RECEP.
- 18:56Speaker 3: Okay, all right, I stand corrected. Don't correct me again. Okay, sorry,
- 18:59Speaker 3: just just let it go, please, Okay, you can go.
- 19:03Speaker 3: You can shake your head because this is radio and
- 19:07Speaker 3: people can't see it and I can.
- 19:09Speaker 2: So let's move on.
- 19:10Speaker 7: It's a full time job.
- 19:12Speaker 2: Yeah, all right.
- 19:13Speaker 6: Federal records request filed by the Deportation Data Project, we
- 19:18Speaker 6: can now see all of the ICE arrests that happened
- 19:21Speaker 6: in Los Angeles. If you remember, in twenty twenty five,
- 19:23Speaker 6: there was just a massive surge. We saw military presidence
- 19:27Speaker 6: in places like MacArthur Park and the like and Mayor
- 19:33Speaker 6: Bass getting all upset all over the place. Well, Donald
- 19:37Speaker 6: Trump's first year in office, ice made a little over
- 19:40Speaker 6: fourteen thousand arrests in the LA area, and that colludes,
- 19:44Speaker 6: conclude or includes whether it's kind of a large area.
- 19:47Speaker 6: You got Eli County, got Orange, Riverside County, San Bernardino, ConA, Ventura,
- 19:53Speaker 6: Santa Barbara, San Louis Obispo counties. But that's a sharp
- 19:58Speaker 6: rise from President Joe bi who, although you know, deported
- 20:02Speaker 6: more people less in LA In twenty twenty four, there
- 20:07Speaker 6: was only about forty six hundred arrests in the LA
- 20:11Speaker 6: area and now this year we're down to about twenty
- 20:13Speaker 6: six one hundred people.
- 20:16Speaker 2: Yeah, at the bottom.
- 20:16Speaker 3: Line is the Trump administration is pulling way back on
- 20:21Speaker 3: arrests of the illegal undocumented because it's does anybody buy
- 20:30Speaker 3: it's the worst of the worst, And they keep on
- 20:32Speaker 3: saying it's the worst of the worst.
- 20:33Speaker 6: Well, actually the data says that thirty nine percent of
- 20:36Speaker 6: them had no criminal history before.
- 20:39Speaker 3: And that is the worst of the worst, right, Christino
- 20:41Speaker 3: and kept on screaming the worst of the worst, even
- 20:43Speaker 3: in light of the evidence that there were tons of
- 20:46Speaker 3: people that had no criminal record, as you just said,
- 20:50Speaker 3: I mean thirty nine percent. That's a good chunk of people.
- 20:53Speaker 3: And so they're pulling way back because the President came
- 20:57Speaker 3: in with his approval rating very strong on the immigration issue,
- 21:02Speaker 3: and that has gone the other way.
- 21:04Speaker 7: Wow.
- 21:04Speaker 6: And Christy Nolmes defense, it was hard to keep us
- 21:07Speaker 6: abreast of things.
- 21:08Speaker 7: She had a lot going.
- 21:09Speaker 2: On, Okay, especially her husband.
- 21:11Speaker 7: Yeah, and the numbers did blown up. I get it.
- 21:13Speaker 3: But okay, now we're going to go on and on
- 21:16Speaker 3: with that one, Thank you, Neil. But the Trump administration
- 21:20Speaker 3: is trying to reverse it's all politics, of course, reverse
- 21:24Speaker 3: the entire issue of the illeg the immigration issue. Now
- 21:28Speaker 3: here's my question, and that is it is already baked
- 21:31Speaker 3: in where the reputation is so bad of what ICE
- 21:35Speaker 3: has done that it's going to affect the mid terms
- 21:39Speaker 3: and it almost doesn't matter what the administration is doing
- 21:42Speaker 3: in terms of ICE enforcement. And I'm quickly going to
- 21:46Speaker 3: ask that question, starting with you, Amy, because you do news.
- 21:49Speaker 2: Do you think that's already baked in.
- 21:54Speaker 4: The we're going to lose the midterms?
- 21:55Speaker 3: No, no, no, no, that never mind, because that's too
- 21:59Speaker 3: long forget it. Never mind. Thank you so much for
- 22:02Speaker 3: your input. It helps anything I can do.
- 22:05Speaker 2: Yeah, well it's working beautifully.
- 22:06Speaker 5: Okay, Well you can remodel your home and now you
- 22:09Speaker 5: can remodel your ribs. Apparently this is a new cosmetic procedure.
- 22:15Speaker 5: It involves surgically altering your ribs and what does that do?
- 22:19Speaker 5: It makes your waist look smaller. So it's it's the
- 22:23Speaker 5: latest recovery. Can be tough, cost is high, but it's
- 22:27Speaker 5: apparently far safer than the alternative, which is rib removal surgery.
- 22:31Speaker 4: Apparently they're not doing that at a far.
- 22:33Speaker 2: I'm a little confused. What do they do?
- 22:35Speaker 3: They move the rib over and we have to ask
- 22:40Speaker 3: Jim that next week.
- 22:41Speaker 5: Yeah, because if you remove ribs, I mean, your ribs
- 22:44Speaker 5: are kind of protecting stuff.
- 22:45Speaker 3: Right right, And I can and I can see removing
- 22:48Speaker 3: ribs and it was only one is it one side?
- 22:50Speaker 3: Or you have to remove ribs on two sides, which
- 22:52Speaker 3: I would guess you'd have to do.
- 22:53Speaker 5: I would think that it would look a little lop
- 22:55Speaker 5: sided if you only did.
- 22:56Speaker 4: It all one side.
- 22:57Speaker 8: So you want to be uh rib bliss uh, And
- 23:04Speaker 8: let's write that down that I want to ask doctor
- 23:06Speaker 8: Jim this question for next week is such a weird one.
- 23:11Speaker 2: Rib remodeling people are crazy.
- 23:13Speaker 7: I wonder if they ever won them back.
- 23:17Speaker 3: You know what, Okay, here's a factoid. Maureen is Maureen O'Hara. No,
- 23:23Speaker 3: it wasn't. Who was Scarlet Scarlet? Yeah, Scarlett O'Hara. Who
- 23:29Speaker 3: who was that the actress? Oh, it's factoid, and I
- 23:35Speaker 3: forgot her name anyways?
- 23:37Speaker 4: From what it's the Margaret note.
- 23:39Speaker 3: No, no, she wrote it. Yeah, she wrote who was it? Okay,
- 23:44Speaker 3: we're looking, we're looking anyway. Vivian Lee and you know
- 23:48Speaker 3: how what her size of her waist was two inches? No,
- 23:52Speaker 3: but eighteen inches? Seriously, I think so look at look
- 23:56Speaker 3: that one up, Look that one up?
- 23:58Speaker 2: I think so, Hey.
- 24:00Speaker 3: Sirih, what was scar vivianly?
- 24:06Speaker 2: That's it? Hey, sirih.
- 24:11Speaker 3: Oh, never mind, sirih never answers that question. All right,
- 24:16Speaker 3: Neil Amy will look it up at some point and
- 24:19Speaker 3: tell me I'm wrong. Okay, all right, another story, Neil.
- 24:23Speaker 7: All right, no rumors here.
- 24:25Speaker 6: Lindsey Buckingham was attacked by a gypsy woman. No, just
- 24:29Speaker 6: by a woman in Santa Monica. Apparently she threw some
- 24:32Speaker 6: unknown substance on him. He's fine, but this he of courses.
- 24:37Speaker 6: The guitarist and vocalists behind Fleetwood Mac and this woman.
- 24:42Speaker 6: He showed up for an appointment in Santa Monica and
- 24:45Speaker 6: she threw something on him.
- 24:46Speaker 7: Again, he's not injured.
- 24:49Speaker 6: The woman took off and apparently she has stocked him.
- 24:56Speaker 6: But this is something that is you know, has been reoccurring.
- 25:01Speaker 6: They have not found her, but they're aware of who
- 25:04Speaker 6: she is.
- 25:04Speaker 2: Right, so they're gonna arrest her. All right.
- 25:06Speaker 7: Yeah, she went her own way, and.
- 25:09Speaker 2: There you go. Now a big story.
- 25:12Speaker 5: Vivian Lee's waste twenty two to twenty three inches on average,
- 25:17Speaker 5: although there are several reports that it was seventeen or
- 25:20Speaker 5: eighteen inches.
- 25:21Speaker 7: Okay, that's what I had always heard.
- 25:23Speaker 4: She's five foot three.
- 25:25Speaker 2: Yeah, skinny, skinny skin ye.
- 25:28Speaker 4: Okay.
- 25:29Speaker 5: It may be time to punt Pam. President Trump has
- 25:33Speaker 5: apparently been rumbling about his Attorney General Pam BONDI may
- 25:39Speaker 5: not be happy over the way that she's handled the
- 25:42Speaker 5: Epstein files and is maybe mulling over the idea of
- 25:47Speaker 5: putting EPA administrator Lee Zelden into her position.
- 25:51Speaker 3: Now I don't buy it. I don't think he is
- 25:53Speaker 3: going to Why because what is the first criteria for
- 25:58Speaker 3: anybody in the cabinet, and that is absolute loyalty to Trump,
- 26:02Speaker 3: far more important than anything else. She is a loyalist
- 26:05Speaker 3: of the first water. Look what it took to unload Christinome.
- 26:10Speaker 3: Look what how far it took for her to go
- 26:13Speaker 3: before that she was fired and so Pam Bondi, even
- 26:16Speaker 3: though she handled the Epstein files in a very hamhanded
- 26:19Speaker 3: way and universally is considered she did it horribly. I
- 26:24Speaker 3: don't think it's enough. I don't think it's enough. We'll see.
- 26:27Speaker 7: Well, what was.
- 26:28Speaker 6: It that that Christy did that pushed her overside being
- 26:33Speaker 6: a brunette?
- 26:34Speaker 2: Yeah, good point. A couple of things, another one.
- 26:37Speaker 3: Being caught and just utter lies that really got her
- 26:41Speaker 3: big time in that after you had the killing of
- 26:45Speaker 3: those two people, the Richard Pretty and Nicole Good.
- 26:53Speaker 2: Do I have that right?
- 26:54Speaker 3: Those names correctly, and Christinom immediately said these were terrorists,
- 26:59Speaker 3: they were killing going to kill ice agents.
- 27:01Speaker 2: Turned out to be completely untrue.
- 27:03Speaker 7: You think you saw pictures of her husband and just said,
- 27:05Speaker 7: you know what, No.
- 27:06Speaker 2: That's after the fact, after the fact.
- 27:08Speaker 3: Also, she spent two hundred million dollars on those ridiculous
- 27:12Speaker 3: commercials in which she stardom and said in Congress, yep,
- 27:17Speaker 3: the President okayed this, which is not the case that
- 27:21Speaker 3: put her over the edge throwing the president under the bus.
- 27:26Speaker 7: Yes, do that. It turns out in regards to her husband,
- 27:29Speaker 7: Christy didn't know him.
- 27:33Speaker 4: You've to say that.
- 27:36Speaker 2: Right now.
- 27:38Speaker 3: Oh man, I think we're done. To serve me, I
- 27:41Speaker 3: think we're done.
- 27:43Speaker 2: Okay.
- 27:43Speaker 3: Trump's address last night on Iran is exactly what we
- 27:47Speaker 3: thought was going to happen, except there was some kind
- 27:50Speaker 3: of one thing that I noticed that was kind of neat,
- 27:53Speaker 3: which hasn't happened before in his comments on Iran.
- 27:56Speaker 2: And we'll be back with that. Kf I A M
