- 0:04Speaker 1: six fortys.
- 0:11Speaker 2: Clearly, if there is life, it'll be some kind of
- 0:13Speaker 2: amba or single cell creature that's you know, below the surface.
- 0:18Speaker 3: And you know, what's this big, huge.
- 0:20Speaker 2: Search for life somewhere out on some outer planet around
- 0:24Speaker 2: some outer galaxy. You know, do you care if some
- 0:27Speaker 2: giant cockroach is out there and walking around?
- 0:31Speaker 3: I don't.
- 0:32Speaker 1: And now Handle on the news, ladies and gentlemen.
- 0:36Speaker 3: Here's Bill Handle.
- 0:39Speaker 2: End of Good Morning, Tuesday morning, April seventh.
- 0:43Speaker 3: It is a Taco Tuesday with a lot going on.
- 0:46Speaker 2: Oh today at five o'clock our time, is the attack
- 0:50Speaker 2: on Iran going to happen?
- 0:52Speaker 3: Yes or no. We're going to talk a little bit
- 0:55Speaker 3: about that, to say the least.
- 0:57Speaker 2: But first, hello to one and all, and there you are.
- 1:01Speaker 2: Good morning, Good morning, Bill, Good morning. Aren't we happy?
- 1:04Speaker 3: Neils? I'm always happy.
- 1:07Speaker 4: Now.
- 1:07Speaker 2: We were talking about Neil's tattoos and he was reasonably,
- 1:12Speaker 2: you're not happy with some of them.
- 1:14Speaker 5: But well, I wouldn't say I'm not happy with him.
- 1:17Speaker 5: There some might care less about but still have meaning.
- 1:22Speaker 3: But I'm not like the swastika, for example, you have on.
- 1:26Speaker 5: Your arm that has meaning, doesn't really work being a
- 1:31Speaker 5: being a mutt baby, Yeah, for sure really work.
- 1:35Speaker 3: But yeah, all right, Amy, Oh yeah, I don't say tattoos. Amy.
- 1:40Speaker 3: You don't have tattoos, do you? Are you tatting? Amy?
- 1:42Speaker 1: No?
- 1:43Speaker 3: No, and.
- 1:45Speaker 2: Not one, not one tattoo? Kno, are you tattooed? And
- 1:50Speaker 2: is will there today? Mister Cole Schreiber.
- 1:53Speaker 3: I have one little tattoo, you do?
- 1:56Speaker 4: Out of this whole group, you're the one who has one.
- 1:59Speaker 2: I have an arm band, one of those dumb things
- 2:00Speaker 2: that everyone had to have in the nineties.
- 2:03Speaker 3: Lame wow is it?
- 2:05Speaker 5: Is it a two lane highway?
- 2:09Speaker 3: Is there something that I don't know the meaning of?
- 2:12Speaker 3: What tribe are you part of? Yeah?
- 2:16Speaker 2: Yeah, I was going to have one in Theyota bab
- 2:19Speaker 2: wherever place it was Welcome to Tuscaloose, Alabama. And then
- 2:23Speaker 2: they said, no, there's no chance we can get all
- 2:25Speaker 2: that on. Uh in any case? Uh so, uh yeah,
- 2:30Speaker 2: no tats for me. Uh my daughter who was not
- 2:34Speaker 2: supposed to have a tat got a tattoo, and now
- 2:36Speaker 2: she's going to go through the roof with tattoos like
- 2:39Speaker 2: all the unfortunately, Yeah they are. It's really And then
- 2:42Speaker 2: lindsay is going to be the is going to be Lydia,
- 2:45Speaker 2: the tattooed lady. Uh, she has some, you know, really
- 2:50Speaker 2: intricate tattoos. Barbara has knuckle tattoos, so people think she
- 2:55Speaker 2: was in prison.
- 2:56Speaker 3: Actually she doesn't.
- 2:57Speaker 5: But uh, let's there Uncle Arry two's on you that
- 3:01Speaker 5: say diet coke when you breakfasts out.
- 3:03Speaker 3: I know I saw that you sent the picture.
- 3:05Speaker 2: There are some very very sophisticated tattoos out there, and
- 3:09Speaker 2: they cost big, big money. I went to my trainer
- 3:15Speaker 2: has tattoos on his leg. I mean it's he's very much.
- 3:19Speaker 2: He's very religious, so there's a whole religious theme with
- 3:22Speaker 2: Jesus and all that. And I'm looking at this thing
- 3:24Speaker 2: and the intricacy was just insane, and I go, how
- 3:28Speaker 2: much was that?
- 3:28Speaker 3: He goes six thousand dollars? Go six thousand dollars.
- 3:32Speaker 2: I guess it's possible to spend that much money on
- 3:35Speaker 2: a tattoo yet.
- 3:35Speaker 5: But it's not all at once. If it's that big
- 3:37Speaker 5: of a tattoo, it's probably multiple sittings. You're not doing
- 3:40Speaker 5: anymore than oh yeah, I would use three stint.
- 3:43Speaker 2: Okay, all right, before we hit the news real quick
- 3:46Speaker 2: one which we were just talking about this where President
- 3:50Speaker 2: Trump and Millenia were at the White House for the
- 3:53Speaker 2: Easter egg hunt, and there was the Easter bunny next
- 3:57Speaker 2: to President Trump and he was talking about Iran and
- 4:01Speaker 2: he was talking about bombing Iran and all these little
- 4:05Speaker 2: kids are looking at him, and you know how they
- 4:08Speaker 2: when if you've been to an Easter egg hunt, you
- 4:10Speaker 2: know there's always like a gold egg, you know, one egg.
- 4:14Speaker 3: That should find one sure, right.
- 4:17Speaker 2: And they had to warn him that one gold egg
- 4:21Speaker 2: is really an ied so you have to be a.
- 4:23Speaker 5: Little bit careful. It would I listen if you like
- 4:27Speaker 5: his politics or whatever. I get everybody has their thing,
- 4:31Speaker 5: but how can you say that as a normal human being.
- 4:34Speaker 5: He's talking to little kids about how he's his signature
- 4:39Speaker 5: is real, and that the former President Biden uses his autopin.
- 4:44Speaker 5: The kids have no idea what any of these things are,
- 4:47Speaker 5: and they're looking at him and they just want chocolate,
- 4:50Speaker 5: they just want eggs, and he's talking about.
- 4:54Speaker 3: War and things that I'm just like, it's so it's
- 4:58Speaker 3: so surreal. It is. It is.
- 5:00Speaker 2: We've been talking about surrealityrereality. I guess, okay, guys, a
- 5:07Speaker 2: listen to it. News news news It's time for handle
- 5:10Speaker 2: on the news on this Tuesday morning, and.
- 5:14Speaker 3: Let's do it.
- 5:15Speaker 2: Amy, Me and Neil lead story. Well tonight, at five
- 5:23Speaker 2: pm our time, President Trump said that Iran's bridges and
- 5:27Speaker 2: power plants will be destroyed all in one fell swoop
- 5:32Speaker 2: and he said there'll be nothing left. That Iran will
- 5:36Speaker 2: be bombed into the Stone Ages, which it could be.
- 5:39Speaker 2: I mean, the United States has that kind of firepower.
- 5:42Speaker 2: Now the issue is will he do it? Because he's
- 5:45Speaker 2: moved that gold line over and over and over again.
- 5:50Speaker 2: What are the chances of him saying no, We've got
- 5:54Speaker 2: some talks going on.
- 5:56Speaker 3: Iran is letting some ships through.
- 6:00Speaker 5: Okay, sorry that Amy's going to do. I think that's
- 6:03Speaker 5: going to be his out if he gets an out.
- 6:06Speaker 5: I think he's going to use that to say things
- 6:11Speaker 5: are opening.
- 6:12Speaker 3: Yeah, I think he has.
- 6:13Speaker 2: Even though it's none of the Allied ships, the United
- 6:16Speaker 2: States will well, it won't be American ships because I
- 6:20Speaker 2: don't know how many American ships go through the Gulf.
- 6:24Speaker 3: So anyway, will Amy the next story.
- 6:26Speaker 4: Well, as you just mentioned, some ships are getting through,
- 6:28Speaker 4: but safety comes with a price. More countries are apparently
- 6:32Speaker 4: making safe passage agreements with Iran. Twenty one ships got
- 6:37Speaker 4: through over the weekend, and Iranian vessels are make up
- 6:43Speaker 4: the most traffic. But on Sunday, a tanker carrying Iraqi
- 6:46Speaker 4: crewed made its way through the straight after Iran said
- 6:48Speaker 4: it would grant an exemption to brotherly Iraq. India, which
- 6:53Speaker 4: is negotiated exit for some of its ships and even
- 6:56Speaker 4: taken Iranian liquefied petroleum gas for the first time in years,
- 7:00Speaker 4: has now had eight tankers go through.
- 7:03Speaker 2: And now the question is, and I don't know the
- 7:06Speaker 2: inside scoop on those negotiations, and I'm willing to guess
- 7:10Speaker 2: that part of those negotiations is that these countries accept
- 7:16Speaker 2: the fact that Iran controls the port of Horma, the
- 7:19Speaker 2: Strait of Horror moves and they have to get permission
- 7:21Speaker 2: where prior to this it was an international waterway that
- 7:26Speaker 2: no one needed permission to go through.
- 7:28Speaker 4: There are they charging, I don't know if they're charging.
- 7:31Speaker 4: Talk that that's how they wanted to make.
- 7:33Speaker 2: Oh yeah, no, they want to make it. Oh they
- 7:35Speaker 2: want to make it a toll booth. There's no question.
- 7:38Speaker 2: Now the issue becomes we don't know what happens, And
- 7:42Speaker 2: I think you're right it's just going to be Okay,
- 7:44Speaker 2: they're talking, but it's either you open up the straits
- 7:49Speaker 2: or we bomb.
- 7:50Speaker 3: I mean, that is a make or break. We'll see.
- 7:54Speaker 4: And this morning, we just were talking with Jordana Miller
- 7:58Speaker 4: in Jerusalem and report are coming in that the US
- 8:02Speaker 4: possibly Israel, has been launching air strikes on carg Island.
- 8:08Speaker 4: And carg Island is where ninety percent of the oil
- 8:11Speaker 4: is produced and.
- 8:12Speaker 3: Is ed it's loaded onto the ships.
- 8:16Speaker 2: I mean, carg Island produces well, like all of the
- 8:19Speaker 2: oil that comes out of Iran goes through carg Island
- 8:23Speaker 2: or ninety percent.
- 8:23Speaker 3: As you said, you know.
- 8:24Speaker 5: This next story is about space and Gary and Shannon,
- 8:27Speaker 5: we're just talking about Yuri. There is an event called
- 8:32Speaker 5: Yuri's Night. It's like a rave party that I've gone
- 8:36Speaker 5: to before. It's crazy, all celebrating space and I don't
- 8:40Speaker 5: know the first traveling and not crazy stuff anyways, Artemis two,
- 8:45Speaker 5: the NASA Artemists two crew flew past the Moon yesterday.
- 8:49Speaker 5: If you didn't know this, you can watch this stuff
- 8:52Speaker 5: live on YouTube. By the way, I think it's better
- 8:55Speaker 5: than Egletz, but that's just me. So it's.
- 9:00Speaker 2: Yeah, and I have to I have to hate to
- 9:02Speaker 2: admit this. I hate this, but even I and I'm
- 9:05Speaker 2: not you know, iglists. To me, it's eglist. I find
- 9:08Speaker 2: that more interesting than this business around the moon.
- 9:12Speaker 5: Look at the deal they wrote seeing that the like
- 9:16Speaker 5: flamelike jetting out.
- 9:18Speaker 2: Go yeah, go on YouTube, Go yeah, go on YouTube.
- 9:20Speaker 2: You'll see the same thing. So let me ask you this. Okay,
- 9:24Speaker 2: they made such a big deal that human beings have
- 9:29Speaker 2: never been this far out, beating the record of Apollo
- 9:34Speaker 2: thirteen by twelve miles. So now when Artemis three beats
- 9:40Speaker 2: that record by another twelve or thirteen miles, it's the farthest.
- 9:45Speaker 3: Mankind has ever gone.
- 9:46Speaker 2: It's nothing, it's like a couple thousand miles, or it's
- 9:49Speaker 2: like it's it's nothing.
- 9:51Speaker 3: I get it. Yes, they made a huge deal out
- 9:54Speaker 3: of nothing.
- 9:55Speaker 5: It's a little bit. Listen, this is there is a
- 9:58Speaker 5: lot that comes with us science and understanding of these
- 10:02Speaker 5: of these travels.
- 10:03Speaker 3: It's more there, we got, we got, we got tang.
- 10:07Speaker 5: But listening to and they'll crow, but listening to educated
- 10:13Speaker 5: humans trying to describe something that humans have never seen
- 10:17Speaker 5: before is very powerful.
- 10:19Speaker 3: Except that they have seen it.
- 10:20Speaker 2: There's nothing but photos thousands millions of photos.
- 10:24Speaker 3: Of the dark side of the moon.
- 10:26Speaker 4: Human eye.
- 10:27Speaker 3: There you go, never been seen by the naked eye?
- 10:30Speaker 5: Oh boy, soldite, No I'm not, but no I'm not
- 10:35Speaker 5: because look at oh my god, my little one's here.
- 10:38Speaker 3: Oh a dog something that with a human eye.
- 10:42Speaker 2: Yeah, so we're looking at pictures of someone looking at
- 10:47Speaker 2: something that are there.
- 10:48Speaker 3: We've already seen, but with pictures. I'm sorry.
- 10:51Speaker 2: Oh and by the way, I want you to the
- 10:53Speaker 2: amount of money we're spending on the space program, which
- 10:55Speaker 2: I love.
- 10:56Speaker 3: Tell that to a few starving.
- 10:58Speaker 5: Kids and say we Oh my god, are you gonna
- 11:01Speaker 5: talk about starving kids? Why don't you downsize? I did
- 11:05Speaker 5: downsize again. Why don't you Why don't you knocket an elevator?
- 11:12Speaker 3: Let me tell you what I think about a space program.
- 11:15Speaker 3: I love, okay, love how you are.
- 11:17Speaker 5: In a gated community and you try and act like
- 11:19Speaker 5: you're a man of the people when you get homeless
- 11:22Speaker 5: people peeing on your front yard.
- 11:24Speaker 2: I have homeless people peeing on the star on Hollywood.
- 11:28Speaker 5: Okay, all right, we take a everyone that works with
- 11:33Speaker 5: you takes a pilgrimage there each year. We all go
- 11:35Speaker 5: over there, drunk and pee on your star that's true. Okay,
- 11:40Speaker 5: moving on.
- 11:41Speaker 4: Well, it wasn't exactly what they expected to find. A
- 11:47Speaker 4: small human skull was found, partially buried. It was found
- 11:51Speaker 4: in de Forest Park in Long Beach on Sunday as
- 11:54Speaker 4: a family hunted for Easter eggs.
- 11:57Speaker 3: So I have a question.
- 11:59Speaker 2: Your kid looking for an Easter egg and finds a
- 12:03Speaker 2: skull instead. How many years of therapy do you think
- 12:06Speaker 2: that kid's gonna go through.
- 12:09Speaker 3: Hey, that's your uncle.
- 12:11Speaker 5: Now you give him a twenty dollars bill and say, ah,
- 12:14Speaker 5: you found the lucky skull and he'll be fine. He'll
- 12:18Speaker 5: be fine. At least he didn't get bit by a rattlesnake,
- 12:21Speaker 5: which seems to be all the rage right now. You
- 12:25Speaker 5: have the sixth rattlesnake bite in less than a month,
- 12:27Speaker 5: including one that was deadly we heard about there in
- 12:30Speaker 5: wild Wood. Oh there were two people, Oh my goodness, man.
- 12:36Speaker 5: And so the victim was described only as male bitten
- 12:41Speaker 5: near the CSU Channel Islands campus there in Camerio, which
- 12:46Speaker 5: I believe was Camerio State Hospital originally the mental institution there.
- 12:53Speaker 5: So you know, they called nine one one and the
- 12:56Speaker 5: victim was taken to a local hospital that happened to
- 12:58Speaker 5: be equipped with rattlesnake venom, which isn't necessarily all hospitals.
- 13:03Speaker 2: So yeah, but any if you're in an area, if
- 13:06Speaker 2: you're in an area that has rattlesnakes anywhere near there,
- 13:08Speaker 2: you're gonna have anti venom. I I don't think there
- 13:11Speaker 2: are many hospitals, for example, in East l a That
- 13:15Speaker 2: have anti venom, or in San Francisco that have anti venom.
- 13:20Speaker 3: But out in the desert, of course you will. But
- 13:22Speaker 3: six bites in less than a month.
- 13:26Speaker 4: I mean that's a So is that an early rattlesnake
- 13:29Speaker 4: season or is.
- 13:30Speaker 3: It people want to trails snakes season?
- 13:32Speaker 2: But another reason for not going out and hiking exact
- 13:36Speaker 2: is you're going to use when you're gonna die. Also,
- 13:43Speaker 2: it's a myth, uh, the tourniquet and sucking out the venom.
- 13:46Speaker 2: By the way, how do you find that out? It's
- 13:49Speaker 2: just a myth, That's what I just read. Because more
- 13:51Speaker 2: people die of sucking out venom with sores in their
- 13:56Speaker 2: mouth than actually do they get bit.
- 13:57Speaker 3: Yeah, it's not a very I just made that up.
- 14:00Speaker 5: No, there is a concern about the sores in the
- 14:02Speaker 5: mouth or open pathways to getting it ingested into your
- 14:08Speaker 5: system too, I'd leave you to die.
- 14:13Speaker 4: So was it a David versus Goliath type downing or
- 14:17Speaker 4: was it a lucky shot? President Trump said that American
- 14:21Speaker 4: F fifteen to E striking you to goal a fighter
- 14:25Speaker 4: jet was brought down in around by a shoulder fired missile.
- 14:30Speaker 4: So we've taken out tons of their missile launchers, but
- 14:33Speaker 4: those shoulder fired missiles still can do a lot of damage.
- 14:37Speaker 4: Of course, both the pilots are recovered, and Trump was
- 14:40Speaker 4: talking about it yesterday during a briefing about what that
- 14:45Speaker 4: second pilot that was on his own for a couple
- 14:48Speaker 4: of days in the mountains in around had to do.
- 14:52Speaker 2: It was Yeah, miraculous recovery. It's an amazing recovery. Now
- 14:57Speaker 2: this begs the question if ever every single military base,
- 15:02Speaker 2: every single rocket launcher was taken out in Iran, they
- 15:08Speaker 2: still have the shoulder fired missiles that you can keep
- 15:11Speaker 2: in your bedroom, can keep in your backyard under a tree,
- 15:16Speaker 2: and there will always be people that use those. So
- 15:20Speaker 2: is it going to morph into just a gorilla war
- 15:23Speaker 2: where you have the RCG, which you know, that's the
- 15:27Speaker 2: Revolutionary Guard Army, which is no longer going to exist.
- 15:31Speaker 2: But It's not going to be that easy. It really isn't.
- 15:34Speaker 2: We'll see this afternoon at five o'clock. And the fighter
- 15:38Speaker 2: jet had to be flying very slow and very low.
- 15:42Speaker 4: It was said to be flying very low. It was
- 15:44Speaker 4: in the middle of the night.
- 15:46Speaker 5: All right, need to take out all those shoulders of everybody.
- 15:49Speaker 4: And then that wouldn't have anything to fire fun.
- 15:51Speaker 2: Very well said, Okay, not a bad idea, all right,
- 15:55Speaker 2: all right, So President Donald Trump is back in the news,
- 15:58Speaker 2: thank god, threatened to force a news organization to turn
- 16:03Speaker 2: over the name of an anonymous source who revealed details
- 16:06Speaker 2: about the US airmen who went missing in Iran.
- 16:10Speaker 5: So several outlets reported on the lost airman, who was
- 16:15Speaker 5: subsequently rescued thank god, after his fighter jet was shot
- 16:19Speaker 5: down apparently a shoulder missile. But there. He says that
- 16:25Speaker 5: he's looking very hard to find the leaker.
- 16:29Speaker 3: Yeah, yeah, here's a question.
- 16:30Speaker 2: He said that they I'm assuming Iranians didn't know there
- 16:34Speaker 2: was somebody missing until this leaker gave the information. Well,
- 16:38Speaker 2: someone leaked the information to the news organization. And how
- 16:41Speaker 2: were they supposed to know that the Iranians didn't know yet?
- 16:46Speaker 5: I don't know.
- 16:47Speaker 2: I don't either, Just So you're going after a news
- 16:50Speaker 2: organization that's gotten information someone who's leaked in them, and
- 16:54Speaker 2: they publish it and I'm assuming they have to corroborate
- 16:57Speaker 2: it if it's a major news organistation as opposed to
- 17:01Speaker 2: some crazy ass internet news person or group.
- 17:05Speaker 3: So I got the first time I.
- 17:07Speaker 5: Brock Obama went after Chelsea Manning and others, and.
- 17:11Speaker 3: Yeah, those were individuals, those were in dacaber Handle.
- 17:13Speaker 5: They eventually went after newspaper reporters.
- 17:16Speaker 2: Oh yeah, no, he threw him in jail for you know,
- 17:19Speaker 2: the entire Civil War. I mean, you talk about someone
- 17:21Speaker 2: who took control of the government, gave and stopped habeas corpus.
- 17:26Speaker 2: No one was like Abraham Lincoln and he did it
- 17:28Speaker 2: worse than anybody. But I'm just figuring out. I can
- 17:32Speaker 2: see going after the leaker, per se, I just don't
- 17:36Speaker 2: understand the news organization.
- 17:37Speaker 5: Yeah, you'd have to prove that they knew.
- 17:39Speaker 2: Yeah, that's the whole point. And you know, we Chelsea Manning,
- 17:42Speaker 2: you knew who it was. I mean, there he is.
- 17:45Speaker 2: So anyway, that was just my question.
- 17:48Speaker 4: Well, forget like father like son in North Korea, it's
- 17:51Speaker 4: like father like daughter. Apparently South Korea spy agency now
- 17:56Speaker 4: believes that North Korean leader Kim Jong Own's teenage daughter
- 18:00Speaker 4: is going to be his successor. The NIS said the
- 18:05Speaker 4: imagery of the daughter driving a tank recently, which we
- 18:08Speaker 4: saw last week, I believe was intended to highlight her
- 18:12Speaker 4: supposed military aptitude and dispel any doubts over a female heir.
- 18:18Speaker 3: Lies, Did I read this correctly? Driving a tank over
- 18:21Speaker 3: some people? Oh?
- 18:24Speaker 4: No, No, okay, correctly?
- 18:26Speaker 3: Okay?
- 18:28Speaker 5: Wow, Well you got to know if you want loyalty.
- 18:34Speaker 3: Wow?
- 18:34Speaker 5: What an oops? So California Lottery accidentally released the home
- 18:39Speaker 5: address of a Sacramento jackpot winner who won twelve million bucks.
- 18:43Speaker 3: So how did they do that?
- 18:45Speaker 5: So apparently they were trying to give the address of
- 18:49Speaker 5: King Wine and Liquor that was where the winning ticket
- 18:54Speaker 5: was sold, but instead of giving the stores correct address,
- 18:57Speaker 5: which is two three four six fruit Ridge Road or
- 19:01Speaker 5: whatever it is, they gave the address of the winner. Accidentally.
- 19:05Speaker 5: That went out to eight hundred media outlets.
- 19:09Speaker 4: So so eights showed up.
- 19:14Speaker 3: Imagine though, My guess is he probably moved.
- 19:18Speaker 5: But yeah, I know at that point, I don't think
- 19:20Speaker 5: he's there anymore. Could you get damages? You think, Bill?
- 19:24Speaker 3: I don't know. Do you know what they said? By
- 19:27Speaker 3: the way, they said your favorite thing.
- 19:31Speaker 5: Protecting player privacy and ensuring accurate information are top priorities
- 19:37Speaker 5: California lover.
- 19:39Speaker 3: While we released the information body steak.
- 19:41Speaker 2: Yeah, yeah, I don't think so, because it was they
- 19:45Speaker 2: were just release can the uh maybe maybe if you Yeah,
- 19:52Speaker 2: I don't know.
- 19:52Speaker 3: I don't know the answer that.
- 19:53Speaker 2: Let me ask that on Saturday, and I'll ask myself
- 19:55Speaker 2: and I probably won't.
- 19:56Speaker 3: Know that either.
- 19:59Speaker 4: Spencer is pod So. Spencer Pratt, a former reality star
- 20:05Speaker 4: and also is a survivor of the Palisades fire, lost
- 20:09Speaker 4: his house and he's running for mayor. Well, there may
- 20:12Speaker 4: be a little hitch to that, because a story in
- 20:15Speaker 4: the La Times is questioning his eligibility to run in
- 20:19Speaker 4: the June's second primary election, because candidates running for city
- 20:23Speaker 4: office are required to be registered to vote in la
- 20:26Speaker 4: and be residents of the city by January third to
- 20:29Speaker 4: be eligible. Well, Spencer Pratt's house burned down in Palisades
- 20:33Speaker 4: and he's staying up in Carpenteria right now.
- 20:35Speaker 2: Yeah, with his dad. Now, certainly no one's going to
- 20:39Speaker 2: blame him. He has no house left to be moving
- 20:41Speaker 2: in with his dad, and you would think that that
- 20:46Speaker 2: rule would somehow be waived, there would be some exigen circumstances.
- 20:51Speaker 3: But I think it's straight.
- 20:52Speaker 2: Off, you are required to be a resident, and.
- 20:58Speaker 5: Too bad of nowhere? He doesn't know Howison nobody.
- 21:02Speaker 4: He still owns the property.
- 21:04Speaker 2: But that does make him a resident. He doesn't physically
- 21:07Speaker 2: live on the property, and a resident is where you live.
- 21:11Speaker 4: But isn't there extenuating circumstances? Can we be human about this?
- 21:16Speaker 3: Well, that's a no. The answer is no. Who are
- 21:18Speaker 3: we kidding?
- 21:19Speaker 2: Using my human That's my point, Amy is that you
- 21:24Speaker 2: would think there'd be extenuating circumstances. You would think that
- 21:28Speaker 2: exception should be made, except it could be. And I'm
- 21:32Speaker 2: guessing now that the city rules for candidates say you
- 21:37Speaker 2: must be a resident.
- 21:39Speaker 3: Thank you, Hey, nothing in mind.
- 21:41Speaker 5: By the way, Spencer Pratt will be on with Monks
- 21:44Speaker 5: and Merrill today at twelve thirty, so maybe he'll maybe
- 21:48Speaker 5: he'll explain something to them.
- 21:51Speaker 4: I would imagine he'll have lots to say about this today.
- 21:53Speaker 2: Yeah, and I know, you know, is he filing a lawsuit?
- 21:55Speaker 2: And I don't know the answer where he's gonna go
- 21:57Speaker 2: on that one?
- 21:58Speaker 3: All right?
- 21:58Speaker 5: Oh? Marjorie you little knucklehead. Marjorie Taylor Green's seat will
- 22:04Speaker 5: be filled in Congress three months ago. Remember Green just
- 22:10Speaker 5: kind of abruptly left Washington. She was in that bitter
- 22:14Speaker 5: feud with President Donald Trump, her ex love of her life.
- 22:18Speaker 5: She used to have like hearts in her eyes when
- 22:20Speaker 5: she looked at him. Voters in Northwest Georgia today are
- 22:25Speaker 5: poised to cast their ballots again. This is a runoff
- 22:29Speaker 5: election to replace her. Republican Clay Fuller and who's a
- 22:34Speaker 5: former district attorney by the way, and Democrat Sean Harris,
- 22:38Speaker 5: a retired Army officer, are the top two contenders in
- 22:42Speaker 5: a very very crowded especially Yeah.
- 22:45Speaker 3: Now I look at this.
- 22:48Speaker 2: They're head to head, a Democrat and Republican, and this
- 22:52Speaker 2: is a deep red district. And if it turns out
- 22:56Speaker 2: that it flips to the Democrat, that's extraordinary news. Even
- 23:01Speaker 2: if it is close, even if the Democrat loses, that
- 23:06Speaker 2: says a lot because it's real simple. Harris, the Democrat,
- 23:10Speaker 2: is saying, this is a war of choice. This was
- 23:13Speaker 2: Trump just making the decision to go to war. Fuller,
- 23:16Speaker 2: the Republican, said, our country is safer because of what
- 23:20Speaker 2: the President has done. Regarding Iran. I mean, straight down
- 23:24Speaker 2: the line, President Trump, President Trump, President Trump. We'll see
- 23:28Speaker 2: what's going to happen. And this is a harbinger of
- 23:30Speaker 2: things to come.
- 23:31Speaker 3: If it flips. Man, if I'm a.
- 23:34Speaker 2: Republican out there, I'm thinking twice about going pro Trump
- 23:38Speaker 2: to that extent. And even if it's close and they're
- 23:41Speaker 2: head to head, I think it already says a lot
- 23:44Speaker 2: where the politics are going in this country.
- 23:47Speaker 3: Okay, moving on.
- 23:50Speaker 4: A disgruntled former employee, possibly Howard Stern's former assistant, is suing.
- 23:59Speaker 4: She says that she was subjected to a hostile work
- 24:02Speaker 4: environment while she worked at Howard and Beth Stern's twenty
- 24:06Speaker 4: thousand square foot home in the Hampton's Leslie Kuhn started
- 24:10Speaker 4: working for Stern in twenty twenty two, relocated to the
- 24:15Speaker 4: Hamptons in twenty twenty four, and then get this, in December,
- 24:19Speaker 4: she got a huge raise from one hundred thousand dollars
- 24:21Speaker 4: a year to two hundred and sixty five thousand dollars
- 24:23Speaker 4: a year, plus an eighty thousand dollars bonus, and then
- 24:26Speaker 4: she got fired in February, and now she's suing.
- 24:29Speaker 2: Can you imagine an assistant you hire an assistant. Even
- 24:33Speaker 2: at one hundred thousand dollars, that's a ton of money
- 24:35Speaker 2: for an assistant, But two sixty five plus eighty thousand, yeah,
- 24:41Speaker 2: that's a hell of a job.
- 24:42Speaker 5: I wonder if she was living on the property too,
- 24:44Speaker 5: which would mean you know, room and board and all
- 24:47Speaker 5: of it.
- 24:47Speaker 3: Yeah.
- 24:48Speaker 5: Wow. Hey, McDonald's is going toe to toe with the
- 24:53Speaker 5: Burger King. Not always the case, but this seems to
- 24:57Speaker 5: have all been a product, a byproduct of that video
- 25:04Speaker 5: that the McDonald's CEO did when they were launching the
- 25:07Speaker 5: new big archburger here in the States, and he took
- 25:11Speaker 5: kind of what they called the mcnibble. He kind of
- 25:14Speaker 5: just you know, licked it a little bit, a little
- 25:17Speaker 5: delicate bike exactly. So Burger King came after that with
- 25:22Speaker 5: a joke with their president and CEO there doing it
- 25:27Speaker 5: and talking about the Whopper. Then they revamped the Whopper
- 25:30Speaker 5: a little bit, and it looks like some of the
- 25:33Speaker 5: sales with McDonald's are a tad slimmer than they had.
- 25:39Speaker 2: It actually costs them with the CEO pulling that bone
- 25:43Speaker 2: head move.
- 25:45Speaker 5: Yeah, because the big bike for the Whopper and all
- 25:47Speaker 5: that stuff. But it also may be that discretionary income.
- 25:51Speaker 5: They're saying is used for breakfast a lot, and that
- 25:54Speaker 5: people are tightening up and maybe McDonald's is not getting
- 25:57Speaker 5: the breakfast traffic that they I.
- 26:00Speaker 2: Find the Whopper much better tasting and just great. Yeah,
- 26:06Speaker 2: much more so than the Big Mac or whatever McDonald's produces.
- 26:10Speaker 5: I think that's fair.
- 26:11Speaker 3: Okay, I think we do one more amy.
- 26:14Speaker 4: Steve Balmer's putting his money where his mental health is.
- 26:17Speaker 4: This is a huge donation. Steve Balmer, who is the
- 26:21Speaker 4: owner of the Clippers and former Microsoft CEO, is donating
- 26:25Speaker 4: a total of one hundred and ten million dollars to
- 26:28Speaker 4: mental health programs that UCLA, cow State, LA, and cal
- 26:31Speaker 4: State Domingus Hills. He says, to fill the gaps of
- 26:34Speaker 4: major state wide shortages in the field of social work.
- 26:37Speaker 4: And it's going to go to train counselors and go
- 26:40Speaker 4: to underserved communities and help with their mental health.
- 26:45Speaker 2: Okay, we're done with the news on this Tuesday. Coming
- 26:48Speaker 2: up the big news story, especially if this thing flies
- 26:52Speaker 2: tonight at five o'clock our time, a quote from the
- 26:55Speaker 2: President Iran will be decimated.
- 26:58Speaker 3: Okay.
- 26:59Speaker 2: I'll talk about that and what might or might not
- 27:01Speaker 2: happen when we come back. This is KFI AM six
- 27:06Speaker 2: point forty.
- 27:07Speaker 3: You've been listening to the Bill Handle Show.
