2 Peter 2:1-11 - False Teachers Among Us
Peter finished Chapter 1 by confirming the true prophetic Word of God. Now, he warns that just as there were false prophets in the Old Testament, false teachers would rise up from among them. These are shameful, immoral, self-willed men who deny the deity of Jesus Christ, exploit their followers through deception, and lead Christians away from the truth.
