- 0:09Speaker 1: The US and Israel have taken direct action against Iran,
- 0:13Speaker 1: and it's raising more questions than answers. What actually prompted
- 0:17Speaker 1: the strike and why did it happen? Right now? We've
- 0:21Speaker 1: been told that Iran is dangerously close to nuclear capability,
- 0:25Speaker 1: but how much of that actually holds up? Is this
- 0:28Speaker 1: tied to the momentum of the Abraham Accords or something
- 0:32Speaker 1: deeper behind the scenes, And as tensions escalate, could this
- 0:35Speaker 1: be setting the stage for the alliances described in Ezekiel
- 0:39Speaker 1: thirty eight and thirty nine. Today's guest is here to
- 0:42Speaker 1: help us navigate all of this right now. Hello everybody,
- 0:53Speaker 1: and welcome back to Life TV Now, where we unpack
- 0:56Speaker 1: all matters of truth, faith and freedom. I'm your host,
- 0:59Speaker 1: Joe artist Horn. Today we're going to be navigating something
- 1:02Speaker 1: with our good friend Derek Gilbert. Also here today in
- 1:12Speaker 1: house is my beautiful wife, Catherine.
- 1:20Speaker 2: Derek.
- 1:20Speaker 1: We say every week that we unpack all matters of truth,
- 1:24Speaker 1: faith and freedom. And while there's a lot of content
- 1:27Speaker 1: on this program having to do with parasite detox as
- 1:30Speaker 1: liver cleanses, we also talk about the family construct, the
- 1:33Speaker 1: nuclear family. We talk about politics and political unfoldings when
- 1:38Speaker 1: we feel like they infringe on truth, faith and freedom
- 1:42Speaker 1: because we are Americans also, and we live in the
- 1:45Speaker 1: United States, and what is happening geopolitically, we are totally
- 1:49Speaker 1: ignorant to think that it does not affect our way
- 1:51Speaker 1: of life. Laws that are being developed, war policies that
- 1:55Speaker 1: are unfolding, And something to me that is happening in
- 1:58Speaker 1: the church that is marching US ray sing Us towards
- 2:02Speaker 1: the rise of the anti christ system. Is this duality
- 2:07Speaker 1: in the also rise of anti Semitism. And you see
- 2:11Speaker 1: these strikes between the United States and Israel against Iran,
- 2:15Speaker 1: you see proxy wars developing, You see new alliances being forged.
- 2:19Speaker 1: You mentioned a couple of weeks ago when we did
- 2:21Speaker 1: programs over with our good friends at SkyWatch TV, that
- 2:25Speaker 1: Israel is now enjoying the benefit of maybe new friendships
- 2:29Speaker 1: from countries in the region that have historically been maybe
- 2:32Speaker 1: either agnostic or more neutral or even hostile towards them. So,
- 2:37Speaker 1: you know, one could speculate they're seeing the power displayed
- 2:40Speaker 1: from the US military and they've decided they've got new
- 2:42Speaker 1: friends because they don't want any part whatsoever of being
- 2:45Speaker 1: clumped in with Iran or state sponsors of terror. But
- 2:49Speaker 1: I just want to say at the onset, if you're
- 2:51Speaker 1: wondering who is Derek Gilbert, maybe you're brand new to
- 2:53Speaker 1: Life TV now and you don't know that he's a
- 2:55Speaker 1: veteran of SkyWatch Television, where we've been analyzing the new
- 3:00Speaker 1: for over a decade. Derek is without a doubt in
- 3:03Speaker 1: my appraisal, and I'm happy to go on the record
- 3:05Speaker 1: as having said this one of two men that I
- 3:08Speaker 1: go to when I want true life biblical analysis of
- 3:12Speaker 1: what is happening in the Middle East, in particular because
- 3:15Speaker 1: he is constantly studying both the Word of God, Bible
- 3:19Speaker 1: prophecy the days that we're living in. And also, and
- 3:22Speaker 1: I mean this affectionately, kind of a book nerd when
- 3:25Speaker 1: it comes to the news in the Middle East. And
- 3:27Speaker 1: I say that with all the affection in the world.
- 3:28Speaker 1: The other one is Lieutenant Colonel Robert McGinnis. Between the
- 3:32Speaker 1: two of you, and we cannot forget your wonderful wife,
- 3:35Speaker 1: Sharon Gilbert, who's in the audience today, who you said
- 3:40Speaker 1: in a recent episode of SkyWatch television. You know, often
- 3:44Speaker 1: when you were covering the news or you know, analyzing
- 3:46Speaker 1: policy in the Middle East, etc. It's Sharon that's up
- 3:49Speaker 1: before you, brewing the coffee, saying hey, did you see
- 3:51Speaker 1: this headlines?
- 3:52Speaker 3: Right?
- 3:53Speaker 1: So you know, I know because I'm married to another
- 3:56Speaker 1: good one. You know, men a lot of times they'll
- 3:58Speaker 1: get the credit for what the women have come up with.
- 4:00Speaker 1: That right, So let's start with why in your view
- 4:06Speaker 1: did the United States partner with Israel to attack Iran?
- 4:10Speaker 1: And then I've got to get to the rise of
- 4:12Speaker 1: anti Semitism in the condition of the Church people from
- 4:15Speaker 1: the pulpits Now again, does this sound familiar? Doing the
- 4:20Speaker 1: work of the Lord to call for the destruction of
- 4:22Speaker 1: the Jewish people?
- 4:24Speaker 2: Where have you heard dad before?
- 4:26Speaker 3: Yeah, it's something that we saw beginning with October seventh
- 4:29Speaker 3: of twenty twenty three, when a Hamas which is an
- 4:31Speaker 3: Iran proxy, came across the border of Gaza killed twelve
- 4:36Speaker 3: hundred Israelis. Some of the Arabs kidnapped another two hundred
- 4:41Speaker 3: and fifty and held many of them until just recently
- 4:45Speaker 3: some Peo some of the Israelis who were recently released
- 4:49Speaker 3: in captivity for more than a year in conditions that
- 4:52Speaker 3: we I think we'd have to go back to World
- 4:55Speaker 3: War two or even the Vietnam war and some of
- 4:57Speaker 3: the conditions faced by prisoners of war. Israel responded in
- 5:01Speaker 3: a way that I think the United States would have
- 5:03Speaker 3: responded if, for example, a Mexican drug cartel had stormed
- 5:06Speaker 3: across the border into El Paso and killed twelve hundred
- 5:10Speaker 3: Americans and kidnapped another two hundred and fifty Americans. I
- 5:14Speaker 3: think President Trump or even President Biden would have unleashed
- 5:18Speaker 3: a fury on that cartel that the likes of which
- 5:22Speaker 3: they would not have imagined, and the world wouldn't have
- 5:24Speaker 3: said anything about it. But because it's Israel and it's
- 5:27Speaker 3: the Jews, suddenly they're committing genocide. And suddenly we're seeing
- 5:31Speaker 3: the rise of a segment of the Church Christians who
- 5:36Speaker 3: believed that Israel is somehow the villain in this story.
- 5:42Speaker 3: And this goes back to medieval tropes about the Jews,
- 5:45Speaker 3: the perfidious Jew. And it is astonishing because until October
- 5:50Speaker 3: seventh of twenty twenty three, I would not have imagined
- 5:54Speaker 3: a conceivable scenario that would lead the world to go
- 5:57Speaker 3: to war against Israel, which is what we see prophesiede
- 6:01Speaker 3: in Ezekiel thirty eight and thirty nine, in Zechariah twelve
- 6:05Speaker 3: and in other apocalyptic prophecies in the Old Testament, the
- 6:09Speaker 3: world will go to war against Israel, and at some
- 6:11Speaker 3: point some scenario like what we're seeing now, because you
- 6:15Speaker 3: can see the sentiment rising around the world, not just
- 6:18Speaker 3: here in the United States, but our European allies, of course, Russia, China,
- 6:22Speaker 3: and of course many of the Muslim nations, until the
- 6:25Speaker 3: Iran War broke out and Iran started flinging missiles at
- 6:28Speaker 3: muzzle nations in the Gulf region, condemning Israel for responding
- 6:34Speaker 3: and s, look what you've done to Gaza. You've destroyed Gaza. Well, yeah,
- 6:38Speaker 3: Hamas could have laid down its arms at some point
- 6:40Speaker 3: and said, we surrendered, there's no point in continuing this
- 6:42Speaker 3: fight because we're not going to win.
- 6:44Speaker 2: But they didn't.
- 6:45Speaker 3: Continue to hide behind its own citizens because they know
- 6:49Speaker 3: world sentiment builds against Israel the longer the conflict goes on.
- 6:53Speaker 3: So finally we're seeing a scenario in which a dynamic, charismatic,
- 6:59Speaker 3: handsome or pretty you know, but I presume the Antichrist
- 7:03Speaker 3: will be a man convinces the world that, hey, look
- 7:07Speaker 3: we told Israel to stop. Israel not stop, so let's
- 7:12Speaker 3: make them stop. This is where we are right now.
- 7:15Speaker 3: The Iran war, I think, is a separate issue to
- 7:19Speaker 3: a degree in that despite the negotiations that President Trump
- 7:24Speaker 3: was holding through his on voice Steve Whittakoff and Jared Kushner,
- 7:27Speaker 3: the Iranians, according to Steve Whittakoff, told them during their
- 7:31Speaker 3: first session, Yeah, we've got enough rich in uranium to
- 7:33Speaker 3: make eleven nuclear weapons. But you were telling us that
- 7:37Speaker 3: this was all for, you know, domestic power generation. The
- 7:43Speaker 3: thing that most Americans don't understand, most Christians don't really comprehend,
- 7:48Speaker 3: and it's really our fault because there are fourteen hundred years,
- 7:52Speaker 3: fourteen hundred years of history from which to draw this lesson.
- 7:56Speaker 3: The innovation that the Ayatola Homani, who led the Islamic
- 8:01Speaker 3: Revolution in nineteen seventy nine, brought to Shia Islam was
- 8:05Speaker 3: that prior to Ayatola Homoni, Shia Muslims believe that they
- 8:09Speaker 3: were not supposed to wage jihad until the Mahti, their
- 8:13Speaker 3: version of the Messiah, returned. They are waiting for the
- 8:17Speaker 3: twelfth a mom who is in occultation, meaning he's supernaturally
- 8:20Speaker 3: hidden somewhere, like you know, King Arthur on the island
- 8:23Speaker 3: of Avalon waiting to return until he comes back, and
- 8:26Speaker 3: then they can wage jihad. Ayatola Homaane. He said, no, no,
- 8:29Speaker 3: the world is full of chaos. In order to prevent
- 8:32Speaker 3: the chaos from overwhelming us, we must take control of
- 8:37Speaker 3: all the Muslim nations and then the rest of the world.
- 8:41Speaker 3: So essentially, you've got a And I'm sorry to say
- 8:45Speaker 3: if this offends anyone, but Islam at its fundamentalist interpretation,
- 8:50Speaker 3: the way it was taught by.
- 8:51Speaker 2: Mohammad is a death cult.
- 8:54Speaker 3: Yeah, it is.
- 8:55Speaker 2: It is.
- 8:55Speaker 3: And to allow a death cult that believes it has
- 8:59Speaker 3: a holy call to take over the world to get
- 9:01Speaker 3: his hands on nuclear weapons would be suicide. Benjamin ned
- 9:06Speaker 3: Yahoo has been warning the world about this for forty years.
- 9:09Speaker 3: President Trump understands this. He's been saying for years that
- 9:14Speaker 3: Iran cannot be allowed to have nuclear weapons. Tried to negotiate,
- 9:17Speaker 3: offered them a deal. He's a businessman. They wouldn't take
- 9:21Speaker 3: the deal. And so this is the or.
- 9:24Speaker 1: Else that's right. And I want to say I agree
- 9:27Speaker 1: with you in all of that. I believe, and I
- 9:30Speaker 1: don't really want to dwell today on too much of
- 9:32Speaker 1: the political ramifications of this, because I want to talk
- 9:35Speaker 1: more about the lasting spiritual implications. That's what this program
- 9:38Speaker 1: exists to do. But I want to say, you know,
- 9:40Speaker 1: for the heat that Donald Trump is taking right now, well,
- 9:43Speaker 1: he said he wasn't going to do wars, and what
- 9:44Speaker 1: did he do? He got us into wars. His stated
- 9:47Speaker 1: position was that he doesn't like war, he doesn't want
- 9:50Speaker 1: to start new ones. But this was a threat that
- 9:53Speaker 1: has existed, as you've asserted for decades, and Iran would
- 9:57Speaker 1: not pay attention to numerous people asserting the or else. Yeah,
- 10:02Speaker 1: so I don't know if you agree with this, but
- 10:03Speaker 1: feeling a little bit forced like this was a necessary
- 10:07Speaker 1: move to prevent one of the largest sponsors of terror
- 10:10Speaker 1: in the world from getting their hands on nuclear weapons
- 10:14Speaker 1: when they've been telling us for decades, death to America.
- 10:17Speaker 2: Do you agree with that?
- 10:18Speaker 3: Oh?
- 10:18Speaker 2: Absolutely?
- 10:19Speaker 3: The death of two hundred and forty one United States
- 10:21Speaker 3: Marines in nineteen eighty two at the barracks in Beirut,
- 10:24Speaker 3: Lebanon and Ronald Reagan one of the greatest conservative presidents
- 10:28Speaker 3: we had in American history, Rather than because it was
- 10:33Speaker 3: Hesbeola Roun, working through Hesbola, that committed that bombing, instead
- 10:37Speaker 3: of the find out portion of that responding to it.
- 10:42Speaker 3: President Reagan's response, under the influence of his advisors, no,
- 10:45Speaker 3: it would embroil the Middle East in a wider conflict,
- 10:48Speaker 3: decided to withdraw from the Middle East. And so for
- 10:51Speaker 3: forty seven years the United States has adopted that policy
- 10:56Speaker 3: where you've got policy advisors and philosophers and thinkers saying no, no, no,
- 11:00Speaker 3: we can't get involved in this because it'll lead to
- 11:04Speaker 3: instability in the Middle We can't do this with right,
- 11:07Speaker 3: I'm sorry, but in that part of the world, and
- 11:09Speaker 3: you know, setting Islam aside in that part of the
- 11:11Speaker 3: world's strength is what is understood.
- 11:14Speaker 2: If somebody hits you, you.
- 11:16Speaker 3: Have to hit them back harder. This is not how
- 11:19Speaker 3: we in the West are raised to believe. We try
- 11:22Speaker 3: to negotiate, talk things out, solve things peacefully. But that's
- 11:26Speaker 3: projecting our values and our beliefs in our worldview onto
- 11:32Speaker 3: that part of the world. We saw how well that worked.
- 11:34Speaker 3: We tried to impose a Western style democracy on Afghanistan
- 11:38Speaker 3: or Iraq, which are tribal.
- 11:40Speaker 2: In fact, that whole region is tribal.
- 11:42Speaker 3: Allegiances in that part of the world among Arabs Afghans
- 11:47Speaker 3: is to your family first, your clan second, your tribe. Third,
- 11:52Speaker 3: the idea of the nation state is a Western concept, right,
- 11:55Speaker 3: that really doesn't mean.
- 11:57Speaker 2: Anything in that part of the world.
- 11:59Speaker 3: So we are foolish to believe when we go into
- 12:03Speaker 3: a negotiation with people from that part of the world,
- 12:06Speaker 3: if we don't negotiate like President Trump has done. Look,
- 12:09Speaker 3: we'll offer you a deal. If you don't take the deal,
- 12:11Speaker 3: here's what's going to happen, he warned them. Yeah, but
- 12:14Speaker 3: I think after forty seven years, here's my red line.
- 12:18Speaker 3: And then they crossed the red line. It's like, all right, well,
- 12:20Speaker 3: we'll draw a new red line over here. They assumed
- 12:23Speaker 3: that there would be no find out portion, and this
- 12:28Speaker 3: is where we're at. I understand why President Trump's supporters
- 12:32Speaker 3: are upset, and I am a President Trump supporter, but
- 12:35Speaker 3: I think after the reading I've done on Islamic history
- 12:39Speaker 3: and the violence committed in the name of Allah for
- 12:43Speaker 3: fourteen hundred years, as we talked about on Skywash TV,
- 12:47Speaker 3: the reason the West is called the West is not
- 12:51Speaker 3: just geographic. It's because that's what was left of Christendom
- 12:55Speaker 3: after the armies of Islam conquered most of Christendom in
- 12:59Speaker 3: the seventh and eighth centuries. I mean by that point,
- 13:02Speaker 3: Spain had been conquered all of North Africa, all of
- 13:05Speaker 3: the Middle East, half of Turkey, all of Persia, most
- 13:07Speaker 3: of Afghanistan, part of India.
- 13:10Speaker 2: That's all. It was left.
- 13:11Speaker 3: Nations that we think of as always having been Muslim
- 13:15Speaker 3: had been Christian for centuries Egypt, North Africa, Libya, Morocco, Spain.
- 13:23Speaker 3: And that's fundamentalist to Islam. And that is what the
- 13:27Speaker 3: Ayatolas had imposed in nineteen seventy nine on the people
- 13:31Speaker 3: of Iran.
- 13:31Speaker 1: How many of you have seen the movie The Patriot
- 13:34Speaker 1: with mel Gibson, If you haven't seen it, for context,
- 13:37Speaker 1: there's a scene where he's in I believe, a church,
- 13:40Speaker 1: gathered with his constituents, and there are those locally where
- 13:44Speaker 1: they live, talking about the risk of agitating their enemies,
- 13:50Speaker 1: and so we want to washer and we to stay
- 13:52Speaker 1: out of this. And there's a scene where mel Gibson
- 13:55Speaker 1: accurately says, our children are going to learn of this
- 13:59Speaker 1: in our own backyard.
- 14:00Speaker 2: Words.
- 14:01Speaker 1: They are upon us. We have no choice. We have
- 14:03Speaker 1: to push back. And obviously this is dramatized film that portrays,
- 14:09Speaker 1: you know, people's interpretations of what was having in civil
- 14:12Speaker 1: war times. But the point is, I think there's a
- 14:15Speaker 1: level of being sheltered that allows Americans to drive through
- 14:19Speaker 1: their coffee places and be angry about things. But I
- 14:22Speaker 1: still weep when I think about some of the photographs
- 14:25Speaker 1: that I've seen of Hamas militia carrying sixteen year old
- 14:32Speaker 1: girls over their shoulders. I won't describe the scene any
- 14:37Speaker 1: further than that it is one of those that stays
- 14:40Speaker 1: with you. They're touting these young girls as trophies when
- 14:44Speaker 1: you have seen things in your own backyard, and this
- 14:48Speaker 1: isn't just something you see on the news or some
- 14:50Speaker 1: other part of the world. It's the Middle East. Somebody's
- 14:52Speaker 1: always burning something. When this affects you, suddenly your political
- 14:57Speaker 1: ideologies shift very fast, and what you would be capable of,
- 15:01Speaker 1: what you think is acceptable, the response that you're demanding.
- 15:06Speaker 1: And I remember my father who again for context, if
- 15:08Speaker 1: you're new to Life TV now multiple like Derek and Sharing,
- 15:11Speaker 1: both multiple time best selling authors that have been on
- 15:15Speaker 1: top of Christian media for more than two decades. Derek's
- 15:19Speaker 1: career is over forty five years now in broadcast, radio
- 15:21Speaker 1: and television. I remember my father saying, you know, Israel
- 15:26Speaker 1: deals with this terror constantly, and here in the West,
- 15:31Speaker 1: we are naive this thought that we're kind of immune
- 15:37Speaker 1: to a sudden emp or maybe a surprise blast or
- 15:40Speaker 1: a dirty new going off in in New York. Remember
- 15:43Speaker 1: after nine to eleven, how fast the nation was sobered
- 15:45Speaker 1: and what did they do? They prayed? But then it's
- 15:49Speaker 1: been a while, right, So I just wanted to say
- 15:52Speaker 1: that that people in the West, in my view, are
- 15:55Speaker 1: very naive to the threat that not only we face,
- 15:58Speaker 1: but they're not out every day in their comfortable lives,
- 16:02Speaker 1: the threat that Israel lives under.
- 16:03Speaker 3: No exactly we Sharon and I led a small group
- 16:06Speaker 3: to Israel in the spring of twenty twenty four, so
- 16:08Speaker 3: this was like six months into the war with Hamas
- 16:10Speaker 3: in Gaza, and we took a trip down to the
- 16:14Speaker 3: Gaza envelope is what they call an Israel, the border
- 16:17Speaker 3: communities along the Gaza fence. We visited the city of Sterot,
- 16:21Speaker 3: where the police station had been overrun by Hamas terrorists.
- 16:25Speaker 3: We looked into Gaza from an overlook a hill where
- 16:28Speaker 3: we could see the border fence just half a mile away.
- 16:30Speaker 3: We could hear the id of artillery in the distance.
- 16:33Speaker 3: They were beginning the operation to take the border crossing
- 16:36Speaker 3: at Rapha, and we could hear boom and our guide saying,
- 16:40Speaker 3: don't worry, it's the good guys. But then they took
- 16:44Speaker 3: us to a playground and we saw this playground with
- 16:48Speaker 3: this brightly colored looked like a fifty foot long caterpillar,
- 16:51Speaker 3: you know, painted green, a big smile on the caterpillar's face,
- 16:54Speaker 3: and little doors where the kids can run in and
- 16:56Speaker 3: out of the caterpillar. And then you notice little pock
- 17:02Speaker 3: marks on the front of the caterpillar where Hamas rocket
- 17:06Speaker 3: had landed nearby and shrapnel had hit the front of
- 17:09Speaker 3: this caterpillar. And then you look closer and you realize
- 17:12Speaker 3: that the caterpillar has made from six inch thick reinforced
- 17:15Speaker 3: concrete because it's a shelter from rocket attacks. And the
- 17:20Speaker 3: children of Steroids had been raised to know that when
- 17:23Speaker 3: the siren goes off, they have fifteen seconds to get
- 17:27Speaker 3: inside the caterpillar or the little tree painted like a
- 17:31Speaker 3: smurf tree.
- 17:33Speaker 2: Would we raise our children that way? I have lived
- 17:36Speaker 2: with this since Hamas.
- 17:39Speaker 3: Brutally murdered the operatives from their rival political party Fatah,
- 17:43Speaker 3: which controls the West Bank or what the world calls
- 17:46Speaker 3: the West bank. Excuse me to my Israeli friends, I
- 17:49Speaker 3: mean Judea and Samaria. This is how Israel has lived
- 17:53Speaker 3: since nineteen forty eight.
- 17:54Speaker 2: That's right. I did an interview with a fellow that
- 17:57Speaker 2: we have become friends with.
- 17:58Speaker 3: He's a writer for Israel three sixty five news, Adam Eliahuberkowitz.
- 18:02Speaker 3: He lives in the city of Katseren, which is in
- 18:04Speaker 3: the north on the Golan Heights. Did an interview with
- 18:07Speaker 3: him during the early days of the war, and of
- 18:10Speaker 3: course Hesbola had weighed in in the war early on
- 18:12Speaker 3: after Hamas attack and talk with him about what it
- 18:15Speaker 3: was like. He goes to the grocery store, the alarm
- 18:18Speaker 3: goes off. They have to go to the mobile bomb
- 18:19Speaker 3: shelters sitting in the parking lot of the grocery store.
- 18:22Speaker 3: We conclude the interview saying thank you for your time
- 18:25Speaker 3: and hope we can see you again soon. Suddenly the
- 18:28Speaker 3: alarm goes off right at the end of the interview,
- 18:30Speaker 3: says gotta go, and he rushes off, tore off camera.
- 18:33Speaker 3: They've got bomb shelters in their homes. New construction homes
- 18:35Speaker 3: in Israel are built with bomb shelters inside. Again, we
- 18:39Speaker 3: Americans have no clue as to what this is about.
- 18:42Speaker 3: And yet when war breaks out, the Israelis who've been
- 18:46Speaker 3: under rocket fire from the north, from Hesbola, from Camas
- 18:50Speaker 3: in Gaza, Israel is the bad guy. Israel's committing genocide.
- 18:55Speaker 3: The war would stop if Kamas or Hesbelah would just
- 18:58Speaker 3: lay down their weapons. If Israel laid down its weapons,
- 19:02Speaker 3: as former Prime Minister Goldebaier said, there would.
- 19:04Speaker 2: Be no Israel.
- 19:05Speaker 1: That's right.
- 19:06Speaker 3: So this is what we in the church need to understand.
- 19:09Speaker 3: We have lived sheltered lives because we have not had
- 19:11Speaker 3: war on our soil, that's right, really since eighteen sixty five,
- 19:17Speaker 3: and Israel has dealt with this since nineteen forty eight.
- 19:19Speaker 3: I read a wonderful piece by an Israeli writer just
- 19:22Speaker 3: the other day, was shared by a gentleman who came
- 19:25Speaker 3: with us Israel in twenty nineteen. And then the response
- 19:28Speaker 3: is for our tour guides because he shared it with them.
- 19:30Speaker 3: And this writer whose name I forget, he said in Israel,
- 19:32Speaker 3: this isn't resilience, it's just Tuesday.
- 19:36Speaker 2: That's right.
- 19:37Speaker 1: I have seen some sickening things in social media coming
- 19:40Speaker 1: from my Christian friends. These are people that have self
- 19:44Speaker 1: identified as Christians, they've been followers of some of our
- 19:47Speaker 1: ministerial work over years, and in my view, man, this
- 19:50Speaker 1: is how I can This is how I can engage
- 19:53Speaker 1: how desperately blind even some of the most argent researchers
- 19:57Speaker 1: of Bible prophecy at this point are the ones that
- 20:00Speaker 1: the laity that attend the church that at least have
- 20:02Speaker 1: conversations about it. Right where they're taking the sides of
- 20:07Speaker 1: the mainstream media in calling Israel baby eaters and attacking
- 20:11Speaker 1: people like me for standing with Israel, right, you know,
- 20:15Speaker 1: and I thought that you were against human trafficking. Didn't
- 20:18Speaker 1: you write a book about children. They're baby eaters, they trafficked,
- 20:21Speaker 1: they're evil the.
- 20:22Speaker 2: Name of country on earth where that doesn't happen.
- 20:25Speaker 1: And we're not excusing it at all. But what I've
- 20:27Speaker 1: tried to do is distinguish the difference between corruption that
- 20:30Speaker 1: exists in every single government versus just casting out the
- 20:36Speaker 1: entire Jewish people or this nonsense about them being descendants
- 20:40Speaker 1: from a Turkish line of blood, that these aren't even
- 20:44Speaker 1: really the people of God, and the people that are
- 20:45Speaker 1: standing with Israel don't even understand the Bible themselves.
- 20:47Speaker 3: You know that irony that claim is that they're not
- 20:51Speaker 3: real Jews, actually Turkish, and yet they've started this holy
- 20:55Speaker 3: war so they can build a third Temple and restart
- 21:00Speaker 3: I wish religious practice of the third Those sneaky Turks.
- 21:03Speaker 1: Oh my goodness.
- 21:05Speaker 2: Joel Richardson wrote that I got Joel Richardson.
- 21:07Speaker 1: Yes, so that Joel Richardson. He's another really smart guy.
- 21:10Speaker 2: Yes he is.
- 21:11Speaker 1: With just a few minutes left on the clock, and
- 21:13Speaker 1: you guys, hey, we're going to have to have Derek
- 21:15Speaker 1: back next week. Do you feel like this is connected
- 21:21Speaker 1: in any way to this scuttle bot, the whispers, the
- 21:25Speaker 1: rising perspective from some that this might have something to
- 21:29Speaker 1: do with the Abraham Accords.
- 21:31Speaker 2: Absolutely.
- 21:31Speaker 3: In fact, the Israelis found documents in a Hamas tunnel
- 21:37Speaker 3: that ya Ya Sinwar, the late leader of the on
- 21:40Speaker 3: the ground operations in Hamas, had ridden that this was
- 21:45Speaker 3: exactly why they did what they did, because back in
- 21:47Speaker 3: October of twenty twenty three, Saudi Arabia was on the
- 21:52Speaker 3: verge of signing on to the Abraham Accords. Now, Saudi
- 21:55Speaker 3: Arabia is the most powerful sunny nation in the world,
- 22:00Speaker 3: the most wealthy, and of course, you know, money talks,
- 22:04Speaker 3: so Hamas, even though it's a Sunni organization, was backed
- 22:08Speaker 3: by the Shia power. Because even though Sunnis and Shias
- 22:12Speaker 3: hate each other more than they hate Jews or Christians
- 22:14Speaker 3: or Hindus or Buddhists, the enemy of my enemy is
- 22:17Speaker 3: my friend. So they were happy to take Iron's money
- 22:20Speaker 3: and do their dirty work. But they saw the danger
- 22:24Speaker 3: in losing the financial support of all of the Sunni
- 22:29Speaker 3: nations other than Praf's Katar. So they decided to drive
- 22:33Speaker 3: a wedge between Israel and the Sunni nations in the Gulf,
- 22:37Speaker 3: like the UAE, like Kuwait, like Bahrain, which is mainly
- 22:41Speaker 3: Shia but ruled by royalty, drive a wedge between them
- 22:46Speaker 3: in Israel by starting this war. Because once Israel responded,
- 22:50Speaker 3: Hamas knew they were going to get clobbered, knew that there.
- 22:53Speaker 2: Would be civilian casualties.
- 22:54Speaker 3: But from Hamas's standpoint, that was a feature, not a bug,
- 22:58Speaker 3: Because then the Sunni nations, the leaders of the Sunni
- 23:02Speaker 3: nations that had signed on to the Abrahamic courts in
- 23:04Speaker 3: order to appease their people, had to say, oh, well,
- 23:09Speaker 3: we got to back away from Israel. So Derek, how
- 23:11Speaker 3: does the war affect the prophecies from Ezekiel thirty eight
- 23:16Speaker 3: and thirty nine. Well, Persia is mentioned prominently in their.
- 23:20Speaker 3: Ezekiel names coalitions coming from the north the land, you know,
- 23:24Speaker 3: Gog of Maygog with Vshek and Tubaal and Beth Tagarma
- 23:27Speaker 3: and et cetera. Gohmer from the east, you've got Persia.
- 23:31Speaker 3: From the south, there's Kush. From the west is Put
- 23:33Speaker 3: which is Libya, Kush being Ethiopia, and Sudan of that group.
- 23:38Speaker 3: Of course, in the north you've got Turkey. All of
- 23:40Speaker 3: those nations from the north are what is now Turkey Persia. Obviously,
- 23:44Speaker 3: since nineteen seventy nine, Iran has been an existential threat
- 23:48Speaker 3: to Israel. If the regime falls in Iran, how does
- 23:53Speaker 3: that change the calculus? I think a lot of prophecy
- 23:56Speaker 3: scholars are going to be redoing their charts and grasps.
- 24:00Speaker 3: Here's the thing, what Ezekiel was saying is in Ezekiel
- 24:03Speaker 3: thirty eight and thirty nine, and this is not just
- 24:06Speaker 3: our interpretation. A gentleman, a scholar named Daniel Block, who's
- 24:09Speaker 3: written probably the best commentary on the Book of Ezekiel,
- 24:13Speaker 3: pointed this out in the sixth century BC. Those nations
- 24:17Speaker 3: that Ezekiel named were the farthest nations in those four
- 24:21Speaker 3: directions northeast southwest that his readers would have ever heard of.
- 24:26Speaker 3: For Americans, is like saying, well, that's like from Timbuck two.
- 24:30Speaker 2: I'd have to look it up.
- 24:31Speaker 3: I'm not sure even where Timbuk two is, but his
- 24:33Speaker 3: readers would have known Purchase that way and Tagarma Beth
- 24:37Speaker 3: to Garment that way. What Ezekiel was saying is that
- 24:40Speaker 3: they're coming from the four corners of the earth against Israel,
- 24:43Speaker 3: which again aligns with the prophecy in ezek in Zechra
- 24:47Speaker 3: at twelve, Jerusalem will be a cup of staggering or
- 24:51Speaker 3: drunkenness for the nations. The nations will come against it
- 24:55Speaker 3: in a crazy fashion, like staggering, falling over like a
- 24:59Speaker 3: drunken man, making no sense. But they will come against
- 25:02Speaker 3: Israel and fight against Israel. And God will fight on
- 25:06Speaker 3: behalf of the House of Judah and the house of David.
- 25:09Speaker 3: And in Zechariah fourteen, when he lands on the Mount
- 25:12Speaker 3: of Olives, it splits him two and he walks through
- 25:15Speaker 3: that eastern gate. So I think if we step back
- 25:18Speaker 3: and look at this as a supernatural conflict rather than
- 25:21Speaker 3: a geopolitical counsel, the word Sharon coined years ago with
- 25:25Speaker 3: feo political. It's the whole world that comes against Israel.
- 25:30Speaker 3: So I don't think this conflict actually changes Ezekiel thirty
- 25:33Speaker 3: eight and thirty nine at all.
- 25:35Speaker 1: Derek, we only have about a minute left on the clock.
- 25:37Speaker 1: I'm just gonna shotgun blast ask you your opinion, because
- 25:41Speaker 1: this is probably the question on the lips of everybody
- 25:44Speaker 1: still watching this episode. You've talked about it in inference,
- 25:47Speaker 1: But yes or no? Should Christians be supporting Israel right now?
- 25:53Speaker 3: The government of Israel, like every other government on earth,
- 25:55Speaker 3: is run by flawed, failing, sinful men and women. Everybody
- 26:00Speaker 3: needs Jesus. Nobody gets a free pass or understand that.
- 26:04Speaker 3: But it's clear in scripture Romans eleven, God has not
- 26:08Speaker 3: rejected as people whom he fore knew Zekar at twelve,
- 26:11Speaker 3: the zekharaft fourteen, Book of Amus, other prophecies of Revelation seven.
- 26:16Speaker 3: God is not yet finished with the Jews. And in
- 26:19Speaker 3: Zechora at twelve, when he returns, God said to the
- 26:24Speaker 3: prophet Zechariah, they will look on me on him whom
- 26:27Speaker 3: they have pierced and mourn. So we as Christians. It
- 26:32Speaker 3: is our job to share the hope that we have
- 26:33Speaker 3: in Christ Jesus. And if we're bashing them over the
- 26:36Speaker 3: head with the Bible and saying you're Satanists, they won't listen.
- 26:41Speaker 3: We need to love them as Christ loved us. We
- 26:45Speaker 3: were grafted into that tree. God did not cut down
- 26:48Speaker 3: the tree and plant a new one.
- 26:51Speaker 1: That's right on fortune, nut Lee. We are out of time.
- 27:00Speaker 1: I literally, we are right in the midst of this.
- 27:02Speaker 1: But we are going to have Derek back next week
- 27:04Speaker 1: and he's going to be talking with us about whether
- 27:06Speaker 1: or not Zionism influenced the creation of the Jewish Homeland.
- 27:10Speaker 1: It's not an episode you're going to want to miss,
- 27:11Speaker 1: Ladies and gentlemen. For everybody here in studio, Derek, Catherine,
- 27:15Speaker 1: thank you so much for joining us this week. I'm
- 27:17Speaker 1: Joe Artist Horn. Keep your eyes on the prize, which
- 27:20Speaker 1: is Jesus Christ.
- 27:21Speaker 2: We'll be back.
- 27:39Speaker 1: Next week on Life TV. Now to me right now,
- 27:43Speaker 1: one of the biggest elephants in the room that Christians
- 27:46Speaker 1: are very divided about. It is like a red siren.
- 27:51Speaker 1: If you're a follower of Bible prophecy, if you're one
- 27:54Speaker 1: that's been trying to make sense of why the Church
- 27:57Speaker 1: now is almost co joining this effort via anti Semitism
- 28:01Speaker 1: to hate the Jewish people. If you're following all of
- 28:04Speaker 1: this madness and you've got questions, this is the place
- 28:07Speaker 1: to be today.
- 28:08Speaker 3: The probability is high that we've got IRGC sleeper cells.
- 28:11Speaker 2: Here in the United States.
- 28:13Speaker 3: At the end the final battle, the Old Testament conception
- 28:18Speaker 3: of armageddon, when the whole world comes to war against
- 28:22Speaker 3: Jerusalem
- 28:22Speaker 1: Should Christians be in support of Israel?
