- 0:42Speaker 4: Cyclospora?
- 0:43Speaker 2: Cyclospora.
- 0:44Speaker 3: This text says, Hey, I've been thinking about this superbug.
- 0:48Speaker 2: I thought I had the super bug.
- 0:50Speaker 3: So now I'm washing all veggies and fruit in vinegar,
- 0:54Speaker 3: baking soda and water in a bath before putting them
- 0:57Speaker 3: in my fridge.
- 0:59Speaker 2: Stacks and hacks, she said, stacks and hats.
- 1:01Speaker 5: That's pretty intense. That'll take care of it.
- 1:03Speaker 2: I don't think that's a thing you can do.
- 1:06Speaker 3: I think the only answer was to like heat them
- 1:09Speaker 3: to one hundred and fifty degrees.
- 1:10Speaker 2: I haven't heard wash it with baking soda.
- 1:12Speaker 4: Oh that doesn't kill it.
- 1:14Speaker 2: I don't know, because I think that would have been
- 1:15Speaker 2: an option.
- 1:16Speaker 3: Everything I've ever heard was boil your vegetables to one
- 1:18Speaker 3: hundred and fifty degrees. I personally will just stay away
- 1:21Speaker 3: from vegetables, although I had brought allini last night.
- 1:23Speaker 4: Yeah you did watch Oh, but it was cooked. It
- 1:25Speaker 4: was cooked.
- 1:26Speaker 2: It was cooked. That's right, You're right, it was cool.
- 1:28Speaker 4: So you did a good job.
- 1:29Speaker 2: Yeah, this stuff's crazy.
- 1:30Speaker 3: By the way, speaking of food and dinners and dating,
- 1:33Speaker 3: where are we, Kyle with the sleep divorce of your husband,
- 1:36Speaker 3: because I know that one time you guys did get
- 1:37Speaker 3: back together.
- 1:40Speaker 6: Yeah, for three months, Scott and I slept in separate
- 1:43Speaker 6: rooms because when we got our puppy, our older dog
- 1:48Speaker 6: did not like the puppy, so we wanted to give
- 1:49Speaker 6: her space and give her time to kind of get.
- 1:52Speaker 4: Used to having Poppy around.
- 1:53Speaker 6: And now Daisy and Poppy they I wouldn't say they
- 1:56Speaker 6: like each other, but they definitely tolerate each other.
- 1:59Speaker 4: And Scott and I are leaving the same room again.
- 2:01Speaker 4: That's fabulous. So we're not arguing over that.
- 2:03Speaker 6: But we are having a bit of an argument over laundry,
- 2:07Speaker 6: and it's kind of an ongoing thing because both of
- 2:10Speaker 6: us don't really have time to do laundry during the
- 2:12Speaker 6: week and so both of us have to do laundry
- 2:14Speaker 6: on the weekends, and it usually ends up being the
- 2:17Speaker 6: exact same time we want to do laundry, and it's
- 2:19Speaker 6: kind of like, oh, his stuff is in there, or
- 2:21Speaker 6: he's like, oh, her stuff is in there, right, And
- 2:23Speaker 6: I have kind of a problem too. I'll start the
- 2:26Speaker 6: load and then I'll go about my day and get
- 2:28Speaker 6: busy at do a million things. And yes, sometimes the
- 2:32Speaker 6: laundry sits in the laundry and sometimes the dryer sits
- 2:35Speaker 6: in the dryer, which is what has happened the.
- 2:37Speaker 4: Last few days.
- 2:38Speaker 6: So Saturday I told Scott, I said, you can't do
- 2:43Speaker 6: laundry because I'm doing laundry. I have a bunch of
- 2:45Speaker 6: laundry to do, so it's just it's my day, okay.
- 2:48Speaker 4: And he was like, okay, well I have to.
- 2:50Speaker 6: Go out of town anyways, and I was like great,
- 2:52Speaker 6: So my plan was to get all my laundry done
- 2:55Speaker 6: on Saturday. Sunday rolled around and I'm like Oh my gosh.
- 2:59Speaker 6: You know, we went to I took the kids to Vegas,
- 3:01Speaker 6: and I still haven't unpacked or done their laundry from
- 3:04Speaker 6: that trip. So I got now two more loads of
- 3:06Speaker 6: laundry to do. So I start those loads. I go
- 3:09Speaker 6: about my day.
- 3:10Speaker 4: It gets busy, I forget about it.
- 3:12Speaker 6: Monday comes around, I'm still not thinking about the laundry, right,
- 3:16Speaker 6: and Scott goes So can I still not do laundry today?
- 3:20Speaker 6: It's like, I guess not because I haven't. I haven't
- 3:24Speaker 6: taken enough. But I'll get him done.
- 3:26Speaker 5: Do you wash it and forget to put it in
- 3:27Speaker 5: the dryer?
- 3:28Speaker 2: Sometimes?
- 3:29Speaker 6: Yes, and then sometimes I have to resh it. Yes,
- 3:31Speaker 6: that does happen. This does not happen. So there is
- 3:33Speaker 6: just there's clean there's clean clothing the dryer right now
- 3:36Speaker 6: as we speak.
- 3:37Speaker 4: So another day has gone by. I forgot about it again.
- 3:39Speaker 6: So now today my goal is when I get home
- 3:42Speaker 6: from work, I should probably take care of that laundry
- 3:45Speaker 6: because he does. He does have a lot of laundry
- 3:47Speaker 6: that he means to get done, and it's kind of
- 3:49Speaker 6: running out of underwear.
- 3:52Speaker 4: No, no, definitely.
- 3:54Speaker 5: The kids and hers.
- 3:55Speaker 4: Yeah, No, he's not doing the whole house is worth
- 3:58Speaker 4: of laundry. I'm sorry.
- 3:59Speaker 7: Yeah, my mom always our laundry, and now my momy
- 4:01Speaker 7: does our laundry, which is really nice.
- 4:03Speaker 2: That is, my mom always did my laundry, and now my.
- 4:05Speaker 7: Life is like I would when could he and I
- 4:07Speaker 7: were living in our apartment before we even moved into
- 4:09Speaker 7: the house, like I would bring garbage bags of laundry
- 4:12Speaker 7: over to my mom and my grandma's house and be like,
- 4:14Speaker 7: can you help? It just smells better?
- 4:16Speaker 4: Have you ever done your own laundry? Yeah? But I hate, okay,
- 4:18Speaker 4: I hate doing the laundry.
- 4:19Speaker 7: I know it's not I can't get it to like
- 4:22Speaker 7: smell the way my mom and my mom may get
- 4:23Speaker 7: it to smell. And that's like that nostalgia that I
- 4:26Speaker 7: that I want. And I hate folding the laundry. I
- 4:29Speaker 7: don't like laundry.
- 4:30Speaker 4: I don't like putting away the laundry.
- 4:31Speaker 6: So currently I have laundry in the washer and the dryer,
- 4:35Speaker 6: and then clean laundry on my floor in.
- 4:37Speaker 4: My closet, ready to put away it folded.
- 4:40Speaker 6: It's folded, and it's ready to put.
- 4:42Speaker 4: The hangars on.
- 4:43Speaker 2: I'm okay, but hey, Kyle, what got you to you do?
- 4:46Speaker 3: Like what's the how do you get to the point
- 4:48Speaker 3: of him doing his laundry and you doing yours.
- 4:50Speaker 6: We just always have There's just have never been a
- 4:53Speaker 6: point where I've done his laundry.
- 4:54Speaker 3: So what you guys got together it was it was
- 4:56Speaker 3: it like, hey, we're gonna merge bank accounts and we're
- 4:57Speaker 3: going to merge laundry.
- 4:58Speaker 6: No, we still haven't merged bank account we'dn't merge things.
- 5:01Speaker 6: We're independent lovers.
- 5:04Speaker 2: That's cool.
- 5:05Speaker 3: Yeah, so if you make your own car payment, he
- 5:07Speaker 3: makes it. It's like that all that stuff.
- 5:10Speaker 6: No, but there are certain bills that he covers. There
- 5:12Speaker 6: certain bills that I cover. Does that make sense, Yeah, yeah, yeah,
- 5:15Speaker 6: so yeah, so there's certain things like that, like we
- 5:18Speaker 6: don't we have a combined we have a credit card
- 5:20Speaker 6: that we both use and then we'll both pay a.
- 5:22Speaker 4: Little bit of the whatever the bill is at the
- 5:25Speaker 4: end of the month. Yeah, so that that works for us.
- 5:28Speaker 6: But I will say I'm so like, I hate laundry
- 5:31Speaker 6: so much that if it was at a point where
- 5:33Speaker 6: he wanted me to do my laundry, I would probably
- 5:35Speaker 6: do what my mom did to my stepdad back in
- 5:37Speaker 6: the day. She just started like she just throws everything
- 5:40Speaker 6: all in. She doesn't like separate the colors or anything
- 5:42Speaker 6: like that, and he was like almost excuting ruined.
- 5:44Speaker 4: She's like, well, then do your own laundry, and he did,
- 5:47Speaker 4: and so that was the one chore that he did.
- 5:50Speaker 4: And she was like, I didn't do it the way
- 5:53Speaker 4: he liked it, so then he did it.
- 5:55Speaker 2: I would just take it ruined.
- 5:56Speaker 4: And I think I think Scott is particular.
- 6:00Speaker 6: He's particular about his laundry, so he would not want
- 6:03Speaker 6: me to do the laundry. It works for us, except
- 6:07Speaker 6: when I don't get it done and then it gets mad.
- 6:09Speaker 3: So Peyton said something and I want to I can't
- 6:12Speaker 3: really relate to what you said, but I have a
- 6:14Speaker 3: different version of what you said.
- 6:15Speaker 2: And it was about washing your mouth that was soaping.
- 6:17Speaker 4: Yeah, I washed my mouth that was soap. Why you know,
- 6:20Speaker 4: and like yourself, you know what you would.
- 6:22Speaker 7: Say a bad word?
- 6:23Speaker 4: Yeah, and your mom would put the bar soap in
- 6:24Speaker 4: your mouse.
- 6:25Speaker 5: Well I know this so well exactly.
- 6:26Speaker 4: Yeah, me too.
- 6:27Speaker 7: I had a I was slick with it. My mom
- 6:28Speaker 7: was she played no games. But no, I did accidentally
- 6:32Speaker 7: wash my mouth that was soap. Because I went up
- 6:34Speaker 7: north A couple of weekends ago, and my shampoo exploded
- 6:37Speaker 7: in my travel bag where I also had my toothbrush,
- 6:40Speaker 7: and I thought I got it all until I went
- 6:42Speaker 7: to go scrub my burly whites and it literally tasted
- 6:44Speaker 7: like a.
- 6:45Speaker 5: Carwalk that memory you have, that memory of what you
- 6:49Speaker 5: said before the last time exactly.
- 6:51Speaker 7: I remember the very first, like well one of the
- 6:53Speaker 7: very first times my mom washed my mouth that was soap.
- 6:55Speaker 7: I was like a freshman in high school, and all
- 6:57Speaker 7: throughout high school, if I said something, she would do
- 6:59Speaker 7: the to the bathroom.
- 7:01Speaker 3: Okay, wait, so you're brushing your teeth and then does
- 7:03Speaker 3: your mouth start to froth because it's.
- 7:05Speaker 2: The soap taste?
- 7:06Speaker 4: It like soap. I know that everyone knows that tastes
- 7:09Speaker 4: how it tastes.
- 7:10Speaker 5: And I'm like brushing my teeth dials worse than Irish
- 7:14Speaker 5: spray because I've had them both.
- 7:15Speaker 7: And you know what was really upsetting was that it
- 7:17Speaker 7: was my fancy new shampoo that I got from the cart.
- 7:21Speaker 3: This is what this is what happened to me before,
- 7:23Speaker 3: and this has happened to me, I would say in
- 7:24Speaker 3: my lifetime three or four times. And when it happened
- 7:28Speaker 3: the other day, I thought, I want to bring this
- 7:30Speaker 3: up some day on the air. I don't know Winter House,
- 7:32Speaker 3: So now I did, and now I can. I was
- 7:34Speaker 3: washing my I was in the shower in my backyard.
- 7:36Speaker 3: I'm shower back there, and I was showering, and I
- 7:37Speaker 3: was washing my hair, so I had all the shampoo
- 7:40Speaker 3: and for me and I don't it's a girl thing,
- 7:42Speaker 3: a guy thing. But when I shampoo and I scrubbed
- 7:44Speaker 3: my head, I do it really fast, you know, and
- 7:46Speaker 3: then the soap go will holler my face and I'll
- 7:48Speaker 3: rub the soap the shampoo it's on my face, I
- 7:50Speaker 3: rub it into my face as if it's I'm cleaning
- 7:52Speaker 3: my face, and my freaking pinky went up my nostrils.
- 7:55Speaker 4: Oh, that's happened to me before. Right, bad, that's happened
- 8:01Speaker 4: to me before.
- 8:03Speaker 2: Oh my goodness, that a wake up call.
- 8:05Speaker 7: Imagine with like acrylic nails, John, Oh my god, like
- 8:10Speaker 7: you literally touch her brain.
- 8:11Speaker 4: No, it was kind of like that.
- 8:13Speaker 3: And that's when you have this reality like why am
- 8:14Speaker 3: I so frantic rubbing my face one hundred miles an hour?
- 8:17Speaker 2: Like just go casual. Then the picky won't go up there.
- 8:20Speaker 2: You're like all the way it is hurt so bad.
- 8:23Speaker 3: It's gotta to give her brush your teeth, and you
- 8:25Speaker 3: go too hard and you hit all the way up
- 8:26Speaker 3: in your garage.
- 8:27Speaker 2: Yeah, it sucks anyway. Anyway, it's John Jay and Richard
