At first glance, Luke 2:52 seems harmless enough.
"Jesus increased in wisdom, in stature, and in favor with God and man."
But, wait a minute...
Jesus increased in wisdom? In other words, the pre-incarnate Word from John 1 "grew in wisdom" over the course of time? How? Or, Colossians 1's pre-existent, uncreated God-in-the-flesh became more wise?
Further, how did Jesus increase in favor with God? Is Luke suggesting that at one point God favored Jesus less and then, at another point, He favored…
